yeah, that's it. April 15th at the. Ryman. Uh, I'm looking forward to it. Theoon.com. Today's guests are two of the realest. fellas you'll ever meet. Woo! Woo! They're fighters, uh, MMA artists, and. now they're actors. Those are my words, not theirs. Um, one of them is one of. the most beloved athletes in UFC. history. His fight with Mike Perry is. the highlight of the upcoming May 16th. Netflix fight card, and he's joined by.
his friend and fellow fighter from Stock. 209, Mr. Chris Aila, who fights Brandon. Jenkins on the same card. Ladies and. gentlemen, woohoo. We got Nate Diaz and. Chris. >> Aila. and I will find a [singing] song.
>> So I can't believe you. So you So you're. opening a restaurant? Uh, I'm opening. Yeah, I'm gonna open a. restaurant where I live. >> I'm not I'm not opening it. I got some. people opening it up. >> Yeah. So, it's a just gonna have options. like same thing regular restaurant have. has, but with uh vegan and gluten-free. options also. >> Oh, damn. Do you eat vegan? >> Yeah, I like I like vegan. I'm not full. vegan, but I Yeah, mainly vegan.
>> Lentils. You eat a lot of lentils and. stuff like that or what do y'all eat. over there? Yeah, I. Yeah, I ate all vegan food, but I eat. seafood as well. And I eat eggs, too. >> I love [ __ ] seafood. Boy, if I was in. the ocean, bro, I think I wouldn't mind. it cuz I know I do like seafood. >> Yeah, it's the best. >> But anyway, uh, thank you guys for. coming in, bro. You guys are [ __ ]. only three hours late, dude. You guys, you guys, you got the only dude that y'all were. later than Booiey's the only guy that. really been late. So, when y'all are.
later than a black guy, bro. >> [laughter]. >> [ __ ] lady. >> But uh. >> we were wait. >> remember when they were trying to cut. off the on somebody's kid. >> talking about his kid going like. transgender. He's like come on ain't. there yet. He ain't there yet. >> He's like 12 and he's like. >> oh yeah I think they talking about. Dwayne Wade. Oh Dwayne's son about. Dwayne Wy's kid.
>> He ain't there yet. They got into it. about that. >> They got into it, huh? >> Yeah, they got into it. >> I support Boozy. [laughter]. >> I support Boozy. Yeah, >> he Yeah, that was one of the best. episode. We had a have a big bag of weed. for him and we had to have like a like a. lot of weed. >> for when came. >> two pounds and specific kinds like I was. on a scavenger hunt. >> Yeah, they had like. >> Hello. Hey, tell these we need two pounds of weed.
>> [laughter]. >> Get boozy. Yeah, three. >> We should be good. [laughter]. >> We'll make sure. Bro, thank you guys for. coming in, man. Thanks for having us. >> Where did you guys even meet each other. at. >> the gym? Did I meet you at the gym? No, I met you. at the uh 24hour. >> tenant windows. When you go with ton. windows? >> My dad had a tent shop in Stockton and. then uh he got his tent or his truck. tented. My dad tended his truck [snorts].
and that's where we met in my dad's. shop. >> And he was like 15 or 14 or something. like that. >> And did you find and [ __ ]. >> His dad uh I was getting my windows. tinted my [clears throat] in my truck. and then I went to pick it up and him. and I think your brother was there. >> I think it was just me and my dad and. Ernie. >> Yeah. And we all took pictures and so. Ernie Reyes. >> No, the guy back home. He's a sponsor. >> Rod, shout out to Rod. Let's go. He He. was the guy who sold me the Honda Civic.
when I went for a Cadillac when I was a. kid. >> [ __ ]. >> He's my first sponsor though. He's the. man. He's cool. He sponsored your fights. early. >> My first fights and my brother's fights. too when we were young. And uh he'd. always take care of us with cars and my. whole family's cars and stuff like that. So, he was the man. And then I was like, "I need my windows 10." He's like, "Yeah, I got you." And he called his. dad. And then that's why I came to pick. my car up and they were all there. And. then he came to train with me cuz uh I. think his dad was telling my brother, "Hey, my son boxes, he wants to come.
train with you guys." So he came in to. spar with my brother. And then he came. and spar with my brother. Nick. introduced me to him again. Him and his. uh Eddie's son. And then we started. training together after that. [snorts]. >> Cuz y'all talk about Stockton a lot. What is it about Stockton that gives it. that grit, do you feel like? Cuz you. guys always, you know, I mean, you guys. kind of represent the 209. I don't know. if there's any other fighter that. represents like a place as much as. people correlate you guys with Stockton.
>> Yeah. Well, that's just where we come. from and uh. everything started there and that's the. core, baby. You got to ref rep where. you're from. I think I think uh. I had Ji Maderos come out from Hawaii. one time to train with us and he started. training with us and he's like, "Yeah, woo." And then and he was telling me all. about Hawaii. I was asking about Hawaii. and growing up there and I was just like. that's I was interested. I was like. that's cool, you know, like you're like a you're like.
a Yeah, there's my boy right there. And. then he's telling me all about all kinds. of stuff that I culture that I knew. nothing about. And I was like that's. badass, dude. I like and then we're. talking and and he was like yeah 209 we. cuz he's a he's a soldier. He was down. with us and I was like, "Bro, you need. to like tell people where you come from. and represent all that [ __ ] cuz like I. could listen to it all day." I'm like, "If people. people see you as the fighter, if they. could hear what you're about, dude,
you're you're a rock star." So, I'm. like, you should be and I felt like that. about anybody cuz it's interesting where. people come from. And. >> so, he kind of put you on that kind of. energy a little bit. >> No, that's just a thought I had off of. where I come from. I'm like, no, no, that's where I come from. That's what it. is. That's what what you see is what you. get. What you come from, where is that's. the core. And uh wherever you go, I. think it comes from the core of where. you're from, what you do. Not to get all. deep and [ __ ] but that's [ __ ] tight. You know what I'm saying? >> It's important. I mean, that people draw. where they're from.
>> And you see them too and you know, like. we see you and you're like New Orleans, >> dude. You know what I'm saying? Right. New Orleans. Yeah. So, that's cool. That's different than just people. standing there like whatever. >> [laughter]. >> Well, who are you, dude? That's a New. Orleans dude right there. So, I think. that might my my What? What do you come. from with? There it is. 219. What's. popping? >> That's it. >> Let's go. That's it. >> Um, how did the Stockton slap start? How. did that start? >> My brother was slapping people in the.
UFC the whole time. >> Was that Robbie Lawler? >> Yeah, he slapped Robbie Lawler right. out. That's his second fight in the UFC. >> So, >> in the mainstream, that's where it came. from. That's it. >> He started it. >> And that's Robbie Lawler. So it's like, bro, you just smacked that fool. That's. crazy. >> Yeah, Robbie's a [ __ ] boss, dude. Look, it's crazy to see how young he was. there, too. Um. >> I seen people just get slapped growing. up like bam and scaring the life out of. people and no fight even happening and.
been like, man, you just own somebody. with a slap. So it's like, >> yeah, I just slapped this honky one time. at a uh pizza spot. [laughter]. >> Yeah. It was just [ __ ] It kind of escalated. in there. His energy was kind of saying. stuff and I could tell he knew that it. was like. >> that I didn't like it. >> You know what I'm saying? And I think. once you put off that energy like I. don't really I don't like what you're. saying if somebody. >> keeps going. Yeah. >> And he was with this girl, bro, and I. just had to paw him up.
>> Oh, good. >> And my friends still talk, bro. And I. think I was [ __ ] scared. >> It's almost like a nice gesture, too. It's like, bro, I I I don't like when I. see like out of nowhere like. >> someone sm in front of you and hit his. head down like, "Bro, you just killed. that guy, bro." I'm like, "Here's a. warning, [ __ ] Get the [ __ ] out of my. face." So, so it's nice. >> Yeah. [laughter]. >> You could be a [ __ ] or now you could. get melted cuz you're coming back. You. could shut up or get or get it.
>> So, that's the nice [laughter]. >> It's like a warning flare. >> It is like a It is like a shut up, [ __ ] I could have just slept you, but. I'm going to slap you and give you a. chance. And I ain't walking around. slapping people. I'm just saying someone. being rude like that. You know what I'm. saying? Get out of my face. You can't feel it. >> Here it is. >> Yeah. >> And I think it's just a it was like a. moment of like. >> I'm not afraid to have a little bit of. energy if we need to have it here today. >> Yeah. >> Which a lot of times like bro [laughter].
slap that [ __ ] out. >> [ __ ] take your [ __ ]. >> bro. I slapped him and then I stood. there and waited for a [ __ ] medium. pizza, dude. And I was like, "Dude, do. not say medium pizza when you hand it. I. just wanted I don't want people to know. I ordered a medium, bro." Cuz I was. feeling it. >> XL. [laughter]. Anybody else need a slap? >> I got you. >> The dude's like, "Mium uh sausage, bro.". And I was like, "Oh, medium sausage, bro.". >> Sorry. Slap that guy, everybody. This. extra large. [laughter].
>> And I was like, "Bro, that's the last. thing you want to hear somebody say.". and you go and accept him because I've. been dealing with medium sausage my. whole life, bro. You know what I'm. [laughter] saying, bro? But that's. another conversation, dude. What uh. outside like outside of like you guys'. energy in Stockton? What else does. Stockton have? Like what else like what. else do people do there that's like kind. of a like does Stockton have a zoo? >> It does have a zoo. >> No, that's Mickey's Grove. >> There's a golf. >> Yep. They got birds,
squirrels, >> golf course next to it, though. >> Hey, Mickey Grove, step your game up. We. need a tiger. >> They got monkeys there. >> Oh [ __ ] that [ __ ] looks like Trump. Look at that. >> We need a lion. There used to be a bear. My grandma lived like a mile away and we. could always in the morning you hear the. uh the the seals and you could hear them. from my grandma's house. >> Really? >> Yeah. You hear like Trump like. >> Oh, that's dope, dude. >> Is that a Trump monkey? [snorts]. >> Was your family pretty close up there? Like was y'all's like what was a is it. it seems like a lot of like family type.
of energy up there. Is it? >> Yeah. My I got a bunch of family in. Stockton. Yeah. >> When they do they travel with you to the. fights or No. >> To the fights. >> Like when you fight a big fight with. >> everybody's invited. I'm always like. where the hell's everybody at? But I. don't go invite. I don't like fighting. is a crazy thing. Everybody's like I. don't invite people to to my fights but. it's a public location. and they're. invited. You know what [laughter] I'm. saying? [ __ ] you in at the fight. I.
never been in one fight. Like, well, why. not, [ __ ] [laughter] So, people. get I think people get offended at me. for for not bringing them to a fight. I'm like, bro, come on. >> Yeah. You know where. >> I got to fight somebody. You know the. risk of that? >> Please come. I want you to You know what. I'm saying? I'm just like, yo, it's open. in public. Pull up if you want to pull. up. I don't give a [ __ ]. >> Um, what? So what the like? So if you. guys became So you guys became friends. around 15. Did y'all go do [ __ ]. together? Like did y'all go to y'all's. first con? Like.
>> I'm older than him though. Oh, you are? >> So yeah, I met him and he came in and. then he could [ __ ] box. I was like, "This kid Lizzy, he could box." And then. so we started he came in to train with. Nick. I seen him box with Nick and do. really good. I like. And then and then I was like, "That's. cool." And he came and started working. And then uh and then I seen him without. even knowing. I came to jiu-jitsu class. I'm training with everybody. And then he. comes up to me and we start training. jiu-jitsu. I'm like, "You jiu-jitsu, too? That's what I'm talking about. Thank god you little box in high school.
cuz where I'm from like a lot of the. boxer kids. >> and everywhere it's like boxers are. boxers and. then I'm like I was like, "Oh, a little. boxer kid. Well, that's because he's. fine amateur and stuff." And I was like, and when he did jiu-jitsu, I was like, "Hey, when he did jiu-jitsu, hey, respect." [snorts] And then we became. training partners and homies and he was. there more than everybody else. I was. like, "That's my guy. That's it." Like. my homeboy. >> Did you learn from him like or what you. learned from uh Nate when you got first?
>> Yeah. He cracked me in the face and I. like, "What are you doing tomorrow? [laughter] Works for again at five.". >> So that's how that's how I kicked off. with me and him. I was bugging his. brother all the time cuz I was texting. he put me in and then he was like, "Go. spar my brother." And so I was always. texting Nick like, "Hey, what's up? Can. I come back and train?" He's like, "Yeah, go in uh go in there at this time. and go spar my brother." And then like I. was in high school. So I would just. leave leave class and go and he was he. already what you he.
and stuff. >> Oh, you was a damn adult, bro. That's. [ __ ] grooming, bro. >> That's funny. So yeah, [laughter]. >> that's [ __ ] grooming, bro. You. [ __ ] bringing those youngsters in. But you just respected his talent so. much, huh? >> Yeah. Well, he he he a lot of people. ain't got it. And I'm like, >> a 15-year-old would fight a [ __ ] 20. That's crazy. Yeah. [laughter]. >> I did the same thing when I was 15. I. saw and I met him. I mean, come on. You. like me. Let's go. >> That's it. That's it, man.
>> Yeah. But it wasn't We didn't talk about. it. It just was like that. >> Yeah. It was just it. >> Yeah. I don't think we ever even talked. about it. And that's how it went down. But he was fighting consistently. Did. weren't you amateur fighting like every. weekend? >> I was fighting like every weekend. >> Oh, so you were fighting. So yeah, >> I was almost 18. I was like 16, 17. >> So would you go corner him and [ __ ] like. that or was it? >> No, nothing. >> He had a boxing coach and he was he was. boxing. >> Let's not pull up the profiles. But uh. >> you [laughter]. got [ __ ] up records, but we ain't been.
finished by nobody and we've been. fighting top competition the whole time. So it's like, yo, [ __ ] a [ __ ] a record. in in MMA or boxing. You've never been. finished? >> No. >> Yeah. Either one of you guys? >> No. I got I got they gave me a to. Josh Thompson one time, but. >> it was like I'm chasing him around. He's. scared for his life. I feel like. [clears throat] and he wants to fight me. now. He's like always calling me out and. little he's a podcaster. He's calling me. out. I'm like, but who really won? Like I never beat nobody and then been.
like I want a rematch. So my dude, [laughter]. how about that? What was uh supposed to. bring you back to life? Keep podcasting, my boy. >> Chris, who got the closest to Finishy if. there was somebody that got close in one. of them? >> Eddie. >> My [laughter] brother. No. >> Really? >> No. >> Is your brother tough? >> No. He's my older brother. Yeah. He grew. up fighting. That's how I wanted I. wanted to fight cuz he was always. fighting and [ __ ]. >> Sorry about that. >> Like at school and stuff. Yeah. [laughter] He's not a fighter. >> Is that why you kind of got into it, you.
think? >> Yeah, cuz he was a [ __ ] He was always. fighting. >> Does he still fight? No, he he never. fought like professionally. But yeah, he. was a little gangster at at the house. So I was like, "What's up? I want to. fight." He always come home with stories. and [ __ ]. >> Yeah. >> It is funny like brothers want to do. kind of what brother you you just if. you're a younger brother, you want to do. what your brother does, you know? And. sometimes your brother will quit doing. that [ __ ] like two weeks later and you. just the rest of your life, bro. >> Sure. >> Was uh who fought first on in your.
family? Was it you or uh or Nick? Oh, Nick's been fighting since I'm a little. kid. Laughing as [ __ ] like, "What the. hell's going on? Why you fighting. people?" Nick's been a fighter his whole. life. My brother My brother led the way. >> He was uh Dude, the first actually the. first Diaz I ever met was Nick. See if. you have that. >> I know. New York podcast, right? >> Yeah. On Opie uh on the Opie show. >> I seen that I seen that recently and I. like [ __ ] I didn't know you were around. then. That was a long time ago. >> Yeah, it was almost 10 years ago now, I.
think. When was that? >> You didn't even have the hair yet. >> Uhuh. Dude, I was so scared, too, bro. Because they brought in like a [ __ ]. fighter, bro. And I just recently. watched that. I like I don't I don't. remember that. >> And a fighter who I knew his name. Yeah. >> I was like one of the first American uh. black belts under a Gracie or something. like that. Like back, you know, way. back. Yeah. Like I've had my black belt. for a long time. >> and it's a big deal. I mean, like it's. not like I'm I haven't given anybody any. belts, you know? I mean, how And who are. these, you know, these people passing. around belts? It's like it's a, you. know, I'm like go win a competition with.
that bell. Let's see how you do. It's. not going to happen. You know what I. mean? The like it it takes a long time. invest [laughter]. go and do uh uh boxing like traditional. They're going to do kickboxing and. that's just going to be enough for them. And then they want to go home to their. nice wife and nice life and they've got. a whole bunch of other stuff to worry. about. I'm over here miles. uh jiu-jitsu, pro boxing, kickboxing, and judo and and sombo. And I'm doing. all of it, taking all of it into.
consideration, and always have. It's. about young. >> Damn, I look [ __ ] homosexual in that. [ __ ] bro. >> No, I just saw that. I like damn deal. with cuz I remember the interview. I. didn't remember you were in it. >> Yeah. >> I didn't [laughter] You know what I'm. saying? >> I didn't remember I was in it either. Is. that the guy from [ __ ] uh. >> That's in New York, right? Yeah, that. was in the building where they also had. Howard Stern was in the same building as. Opie. And they're like, >> "Is that where Shady 45 is?" I did one. in there, too, I think. >> Yeah. >> And you go through the hall, there's. like just a bunch of them in the windows.
and stuff. >> I did I did a a podcast. I was telling. them earlier, I did a podcast with uh. Everlast in there. >> Did have you guys freestyle rapping? >> No. No. But but it was Shady 45 and it. was Everlast. And I was sitting there, Nick brought me there. It was me and. Nick there together. And I'm sitting. there and I'm like, why am I sitting by. Everlast? I shouldn't be by this. [ __ ] because I was um I was uh. I was [ __ ] on Eminem side. >> Oh, you had a different uh promotion.
>> No, you know Eminem dissed on Everlast. back then and I was like, "Bro, I don't. know if Eminem would be cool with me. being here like this. I don't think I. should be here. The [ __ ] we doing with. Everlast?" because he was dissing. Everlast on thing and me and me and. Eminem [ __ ] are homies. You know what. I'm saying? >> Really? >> No, I don't know him. I never met in my. life. [laughter]. >> But I was committed. I was like, "Bro, I'm but I was in the music all day." So. I was like, "I'm on [laughter] his. side.". >> And then we're talking and then they're. asking question. I'm just sitting there. and they ask me something. I was like,
"Are you cool with Eminem now or what?". He's like, "Yeah, man. Come on. What do. you think?" He's like, "We're on Shady. 45." All right. I think I was like. bringing up a beef that happened. [laughter] 5 10 years ago. I was like I. shouldn't have asked him that. I was. young though and I was like I shouldn't. ask. >> Dude, what [ __ ] you do, bro? I remember. one time. >> I was on Eminem side though. >> At [laughter] least you were on his side. too. Like you were real. >> I love I did like Everlast. But when he. started dissing like no more Everlast. for me and then but now I like Everlast.
and he was always cool too when I I met. him a few times. >> You met Eminem? >> No, I'm talking about I never met. Eminem. >> You never met him? Damn, dude. about me. in a song though. >> Yeah. Yeah. What song was it? >> I I forget the name of the song, but he. uh Yo, Cap, I know you out there. Send. me the song with uh I forget the name of. it, but. >> it was a new song. >> Here we go. Right there. >> And he wrapped about he wrapped about. me. >> And God's my alias. So if I don't have. faith in me, then it basically makes me. an atheist. Nate Diaz got the world by. the tracheas in a chokeold and a.
sleeper. >> Dang, bro. That's amazing. >> Bro, that's crazy. It's all I needed in. life. >> I b it all came back. It all circle. back. I gained on Everlast and then. >> here you are. >> We made it. [laughter]. >> That's wild on Everlast. >> Did you ever get to you have you ever. got to meet him? Have you ever. >> shout out to Everlast I like Everlast? I. mean we see we see each other. We're. like what up every time. But. >> Oh, Everlast is a person. Everlast.
what it's like. >> Yeah, you don't know what it is. I got. you. >> I was thinking [clears throat] about. Evan Essence, I think. >> No, Everless. >> He was thinking about Evan Essence. [laughter]. >> Or no, I was thinking about the [ __ ]. boxing thing. >> Boxing [music] rap. >> That's Everlast. >> And I was sitting there. Hey, this song. was on in my head, too. And I'm sitting. there with Next Everlast and Nick's. talking interview. I'm like, [ __ ] we. doing here, man. >> [laughter]. >> And on the real, I only went there. because it was we were doing an.
interview on Shady 45. Like sick and it. was Everlast. I was like, man, I. shouldn't be here. [laughter]. >> Can you turn that off? >> Huh? Turn it off. >> Oh, yeah. Cuz the audio stuff. >> We ain't got the trademark for that. >> What [laughter]. that? >> What jobs did y'all have before before. fighting like took over for you that was. like heavy? Did y'all have work? Did. y'all have employment or were y'all like. >> I sold weed? I worked at a a burger spot, too. I was.
just telling him I I worked at a place. called Bonenburgers. I used to barbecue. tri tips. I was probably 14 years old. And my brother started training with. this guy Steve Heath and his brother. Gary who trained a little bit. He worked. next to the gym at this burger spot and. he got me a job with him and he worked. inside, ran a restaurant, and I. barbecued across the parking lot on the. grill. And then when people hit me up. for a dub or eighth or something, but I. pull up to the spot, say, "Pull up the. barbecue and I drop on drop on an.
eighth, flip a flip a try tip, go. inside, make a cheeseburger. I get. down." That was my only job. >> That was fun. >> What about you, Chris? >> I didn't really have a job. >> What? Uh, >> were y'all real rich? >> No. Hell no. >> Broke as [ __ ]. >> That was the brokest. But. >> was you poor and not working? >> No. No. I had jobs, but me and my. homies, we'd get jobs, but we didn't. last for that long. We just. >> They were bus boys. [laughter]. >> Were you really? >> No, I worked at a winery. I worked at a. winery for a long time and then I worked. at my dad's shop here and there.
[laughter] for some money. >> Yeah. I didn't have like a job job. >> And the tinted windows, bro, they only. they only let you go so dark, dude. I. remember one time I got mine done and. they. >> put bubbles on mine. >> N [laughter] creases creases. >> I can't see out this part, man. I knew I. shouldn't let creep over my window. >> That's when that shit's bad when you. have to [ __ ] drive. Like that's why. some people started driving like this. because that's the only way they can see. out the. >> front,
>> bro. They had this setup over in uh not. even far from here where you would get. your windows tended and they had to deal. with the cops that right after the cops. would pull they were just pulling people. over right as they left those joints. >> Damn. [clears throat] A villa. >> Yep. That's me. That's [laughter]. >> carro. >> Come get your window tinted. 50% off. Yeah, [laughter] 50%. >> That's a CTE version right there. >> That. >> um over time with fighting is CTE does. it feel like a real thing to you guys?
Is that something? Do you think that. fighting has affected the way that. you're able to think? >> When you do comedy, does Cte [ __ ] with. you? >> That's what it was. I tackled with the. CT. [laughter]. >> You seen my cut the comments out. They. give me a CT every time. Man, I'm hot. >> Oh, they do? >> Oh, I didn't even know that. [snorts]. >> What CT? Like does it really a because. you guys have taken a lot of punches in. your life, you know, like not as many as. a lot of guys, I'm sure, but you guys. are in you guys are real fighters. Yeah, I feel like I feel like it's uh Yeah, I. feel like football probably a lot more.
than the fight. >> Yeah, they had a documentary. >> cuz I played football, too. I remember. when I [ __ ] would hit helmets with. people and have a headache all night. playing football. >> Yeah, [ __ ]. >> That was [ __ ] up. >> I don't know what the question was about. CT. I just started thinking about it. What did you say? Did it affect. [laughter] me? My CD is kicking in. >> I think that answers it, bro. Um, did. you guys have to get vaccinated to f Did. you guys Did you guys get vaccinated? >> I didn't get vaccinated ever. >> No. Did you?
>> No, I didn't. [ __ ] yeah, dude. >> Yeah. [ __ ] you. >> [ __ ] them. >> Vaccinate yourself, [ __ ]. >> Yeah. >> Uh, you guys' gym over in Stockton. It's. the Nick Diaz Academy. Mhm. >> And you guys have had a lot of great. fighters out of there. Uh Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez. Um how has it changed. over the years there? Like has it. evolved? What's it been like? >> Well, they're not out of the Nick D. I.
mean, we're all from Caesar Gracie. >> Okay. >> Nick and Jake. and um David Derell. Those were three. black belts under Caesar Gracie and. spread out for them with Tyson Griffin. and Nate Ducharm and a couple names out. of Dave Terrell who was the first black. belt under Caesar. And then Nick was uh. me and Nick was me and him and our team. at Nick Diaz Academy. And then uh Jake. Shields had Gilbert Melendez and a whole.
team. >> Oh, a little different than I thought. >> Yeah, but we're like a like a family. tree type of thing. And uh we all come. from Caesar Gracie fight team and then. we're the we're we're we're the Stockton. Stockton team. >> Does the energy feel as alive there as. ever with young fighters coming up? >> Yeah, there's youngsters in there coming. out of wrestling and jiu-jitsu kids and. bo boxers and [ __ ] and everybody's in. there. We're like we're going to go back. right now. I've been gone for two weeks. going to go back and they're all going. to be ready for us, ready to kill and.
[ __ ] So, it's it's on and popping when. you go to the gym. >> Are you guys training people as well in. there? Like, or what is like I know you. guys train yourselves, but. >> Yeah, I train with everybody. I'm more. of a. like I just train with everyone. I'm. like, you want to learn something? Let's. train. Cuz I learned a lot of my and. most of the stuff I know from experience. and training with people and I've got. better from that. So, uh, I let the guys. run the show at the at the gym and then.
I come in and I just participate with. everybody. and then he he's right. He's right. alongside. >> Yeah. I'm just training with everybody. really. >> Do you guys feel like uh fighting should. be taught in schools? >> I think jiu-jitsu should be I think. jiu-jitsu 100% should should be. >> law enforcement. Law enforcement. >> Yeah. But if they didn't in school, then. by the time they get to law enforcement, they would know. And then if you're. going to do law enforcement, you be. like, "Well, I better step them my game. up." Because you would be conscious and. aware of it because you learned it in.
school. You're like, "That's the only. thing that's going to protect.". >> You have boxing back in the day. >> Look at this, dude. Today, it's crazy to. think boxing used to be. >> like in high school. In high school, [laughter]. >> this was in school. This is in London in. the 1930s. >> Okay. In high school. >> Yeah. Not the mountain. [laughter]. >> But look at this [ __ ] They used to have. this. >> Watch this kid. This kid's good. >> That's how I was. Imagine. [snorts and laughter]. this at school though. >> Yeah, it'd be sick. >> It'd be. >> Why do you got all the girls, bro?
>> That's gentrification. >> Gentrification. >> That's how it happens, dude. >> That's how you make friends. >> One mix guy showed up and everything. [ __ ] went haywire. I've been wondering if there was ever a. time when you were with your family and. your car broke down because I've been. there. And I remember my the car was. broke down and I stood off. Um, you said that you think jiu-jitsu. should be taught in schools. What What.
makes you say that? >> Well, just for. self-defense in general, I think people. should know how to defend themselves a. little, how they be a little more stable. walking around. I think it helps them. I. think it helps with everything, you. know, kind of like common sense type of. thing. Like I think people get hurt less. more and think a little more about what. they do. I could go on all day, but you. know, like jiu-jitsu, I think is. necessary for everybody. It's like. learning how to swim. Like I.
[clears throat] think everybody should. learn how to swim. What if you fall in. some [ __ ] water? Yeah. So that's what. I think about, too. >> You are walking around acting cool and. [ __ ]. >> I'm like, what if somebody just drowns. you? >> Yeah. >> So that's why I started training. I'm. like, yo, people actually will walk. around can do this to you. Yeah, right. I'm going to I'm going to master this. [ __ ]. >> Is that what your kind of mentality was. starting out with it? >> Yeah. You're walking around helpless and. you don't even know it,
>> right? >> You know what I'm saying? A [ __ ]. title wave might come. You're going to. [ __ ] drown. So that's scary to me. >> Yeah. >> So I would learn how to do that. >> Yeah. It's [ __ ] up. [laughter]. >> [ __ ] up, dude. No, you're right. I. think. >> people don't even think about it or. consider it though. Oh, I could fight. When's the last fight you got in? >> Yeah. >> You don't even know that you can't. fight. And I know that you don't know. that. You know, you know what I'm. saying? It's like,
>> and people aren't even conscious or. aware of that. So, I think that's a. scary situation. So, >> yeah. Get all deep again about it. That's real [ __ ] Just cuz you slapped a. guy one time at a pizza parlor doesn't. mean you can [ __ ] defend yourself. It's true, though. >> He might he might have been able to just. drown you and you don't even know it. So, it's like. >> true. He might have saved my life that. day. He might have said, "I'm I could. [ __ ]. >> You were too down for him, though." He's. like, "No, [ __ ] that. This guy just. drowning me. I'm out." [laughter]. >> Yeah. I think definitely the confidence.
building. Um, >> yeah. I learned how to talk to people. and like I would go to train when I'm. when I'm a kid, 15, and I'd get smoked. I'd get high as [ __ ] all the time. And I. would go on the train and it would be. like I'd hate coming on time because I'd. be like, "If I go on time, we got to sit. there and talk to all these guys." And. the guys who train there are like cops. and work at a bakery and doctors and. everybody was older than me. I was a kid. and I was like social anxiety. I was. like I want to go talk to these people. I don't talk to you ever talk to a kid.
You know what I'm saying? So I'm like I. got to go talk to these people. I could. only talk to my friends. So I'd go there. and then I train with them these 35 year. old dudes and [ __ ] and I'd [ __ ] choke. everybody cuz I was there more than. them. And I'd be like, and then all a. sudden they're asking me questions about. the moves and I'm telling them about the. moves and they're going here and they're. like, "What are you doing? Are you in. school?" I'm like, "Yeah, I'm here." And. all a sudden we're in a full-on. conversation and I'm talking to. 35year-old cops and. >> I'm selling weed and and and training. and not talking to anybody older than.
me. So I learned how to talk to people. and understand people and, you know, communicate. So it helps with with just. falling into the social pipeline, [laughter] you know. So it's not funny. Yes sir. >> So uh that helped me there and then. because especially after training you. getting endorphins off your high like. and they're asking you something you. know about now. So you explain look you. go here you pass a guard like this and. do like that and then they're going hey. what do you do in the daytime? I go run. and I got to do this and like want to go.
get lunch and now you got a friend and. all a sudden you're friends with some. 35year-old cop and [laughter] and like. what kid do you know that sells weed is. friends with a cop. That's just And now. you guys are just homeboys and then and. it's like I learned a lot from all that. training and it helped with with. everything. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, dude. There was something. Oh, the. endorphins after a class. Even if you. just got choked out by a [ __ ] like a. 35 lb girl, >> right? You be like, "Fuck yeah. I'm. gonna get that [ __ ] next week." You.
[laughter] know, >> it could be a Dude, I got choked up by. this [ __ ] 13y old girl. I will say. this. I think she had taken some tai ta. bow or whatever it's called. >> Taekwondo. >> Taekwondo, right? And so I was like, "Okay, so this obviously, you know, this. [ __ ] knows what she's doing or. whatever." But anyway, I [ __ ] got. leveled out by this chick in one class. and I just remember driving home in my. head thinking, "I'm going to [ __ ] that. kid up next week, dude." Which was a. crazy thought. But uh but also, yeah, the endorphins people you would meet.
Yeah. If you're choking on a [ __ ]. baker, you like [ __ ] smell those. cinnamon rolls, [ __ ] You know, I. better get a free [ __ ]. >> Oh, that's Tao, my bad. That's some. other [ __ ] bro. That's that [ __ ]. Look at the dude on the right, bro. That. dude, >> he's excited. >> Oh, he [ __ ]. >> He love Tabbo. >> He'll put a full Nelson in your ass. That fella right there, bro. Nelson, >> he'll half Nelson some dude's balls in. his throat. [laughter] [ __ ] crazy, bro. >> Um,
is fighting fun for you guys now? Does. it change over time once it becomes a. career? >> It's the best thing to do like training. wise. I think helps out with life and. [ __ ] So that's what I think. >> Yeah. I've been fighting for so long. I. think him too is like once you once you. we've been doing this for so long if. you're not fighting it's like that's. what I do, >> right? >> So So and then like when you train for a. fight and get done with the fight like. [ __ ] that [ __ ] I going [laughter] I.
what the [ __ ] got to put in all kinds. of work and did all this cuz nobody. could do that. It's a lot of work. And. then uh not even the work too, just the. mental just go to sleep. Like if someone. normal had a fight, it' be okay. You're. fighting three months be okay. They go. home, go to sleep. I can't sleep. >> Yeah. >> They can't even make it to a fight. So. it's like it's a whole thing. And then. once you get done, you're like, man, I. was fine. Cool. I'm glad it's over. I. ain't [ __ ] doing that [ __ ] Two. months goes by and you're like, well, man, what the [ __ ] I need to get back. to what I do. Damn. >> It's just what I do now. You know? So. it's like. >> when you're not fighting, you're like,
all right, I got to get back. I gotta be. I gotta do what I do. So. >> that's how it is for me. >> For you. >> Yeah. >> At a certain point I noticed even with. comedy like it choose this thing the. thing you do eventually it chooses you. as well. It's like. >> yeah it's like I have to do this because. >> this is what I do now. >> Like I can make millions of dollars. doing all kind of other [ __ ] I'm like. [ __ ] [ __ ] there's nothing like doing. what you do. Yeah. I gota I gota it. doesn't feel like you're doing the right. thing. So fighting for me is just what I. do now. And it sucks and it's great and.
all that. >> Yeah. Yeah. What's the part about it. that sucks the most for you guys? [snorts]. >> Dieting. >> Wow. What you thinking about? You be. sitting there thinking about something. type of like. >> It's like fasting. We were talking about. earlier. Hungry. >> How many Zins you got in? [laughter]. >> One. >> Damn. [ __ ] must be big. >> I know. I don't like swallowing the spit. and zen. And it [ __ ]. >> sit in that jar. >> It'll uh hurt your [snorts] stomach. Do.
you do this? >> Nuh-uh, dude. I'm vaping right now and. I'm fasting. I feel like a [ __ ]. Native American over in this [ __ ] or. something. I feel like a damn Hindu or. something. >> I got enough problems, bro. Um damn, Chris is [ __ ] up. You [ __ ] up a lot. >> Yeah, go. >> All right, >> bro. I've had some fun times in there. with him, bro. I've had some fun times. in there.
>> Yeah, he'll love that, dude. Yeah, Joe's. been supportive. He's the one who told. me he said like a year ago. >> we were staying busy like with. podcasting and he's [snorts]. >> he's like, "If you start doing two. episodes a week, then nobody will be. able to stop you." That's what he told. me. >> Oh, wow. That was it. >> And he just said, "Yeah." And so we. started to challenge ourselves. And it's. kind of wild like uh because there'll be. it used to be hard for me to even go. like an hour with podcasting and now.
some conversations I'll go it'll be two. and a half hours and it'll be. >> his are like that long as [ __ ] You're. like damn. >> his have so much information. I'm like. [ __ ] I'm dumb. I'll leave out of there. feeling like [ __ ] I got to go study. I just feel dumb. He's so he just is. interested in so many things right and. he really is interested. That's the. thing. >> Yeah. He really [ __ ] want He just. like it's like walking in the library. I. feel like I'm [ __ ]. >> Yeah. >> Like I could study forever and I won't. get past the [ __ ] magazines, you. know? >> And wind up just trickling off to all.
kinds of [ __ ] and you're like, damn. Now. I'm in some situation where I don't know. what the [ __ ] we're talking about. [laughter]. >> And so you see this one fight, right? You saw that. Cool. >> We got to circle back. Yeah. >> A lot of circle, dude. Yeah, they [ __ ]. I wish I could call timeouts when I was. in Joe's podcast just to give myself my. brain a chance to to me to give my brain. a pep talk in those [ __ ] bro, because he's just so smart and so. interested. Um, so you got the uh the MVP promotion and. it's Netflix. It's the Mike Perry fight.
That's what's coming up. How did the. fight come to be? >> Well, me and Mike Perry been the biggest. thing on the outside of the UFC. Yeah, I've been following KFC. >> for a cool minute and he's been doing. moves and uh and making [ __ ] happen and. uh respect because like nobody's doing. knows how to do [ __ ] People who are the. talent are just the [ __ ] talent and. I'm I'm like, bro, I have to get out of.
here because. uh. I'm not that's not what I am, you know? So, uh, and I get out and I'm like, what. I do is fight. I need to do what I do. So, I've been like, there's nobody out. here. And then he's out there doing the. thing. And we got offered each other a. few times. And, uh, it was in the it was. in the direction of of it happening, and. uh, a couple things happened, didn't. happen, and now it's happening. that.
unfortunately this is the only way to. make it happen. >> because uh. it's time he's been doing a great job. He been knocking people out. He beat. [ __ ]. beat middleweight champion uh the name. uh Rock Hold. He beat Rock Hold and he. beat Eddie Alvarez lightweight champion. for years. He beat um [clears throat] he. beat Jeremy Stevens up. He beat uh who.
who else he just backtoback whooping. everybody. >> Michael Ben Paige Pa he beat MVP. I. didn't even know fight bro. >> Yeah MVP does a good job. He out there. knocking people on doing a good job. He. he. >> that was a close one. That one went to. the cards, didn't it? >> Yeah. >> And everybody complains about MVPs. boring fights, but you need someone like. Mike Perry who's going to go forward. That made it a [ __ ] war. It was dope. >> He dropped. >> Yeah, that makes a good fight. >> Yeah. >> And that's what I said back in the day. Like I ain't fighting people who aren't. fighters. I'm fighting fighters because. that makes good fights and that goes. down in the brain in the memory bank for.
[ __ ] fights in history is good. fighters fighting each other. And uh. I think that was the best best thing to. do out here is beat somebody who's doing. a [ __ ] great job at [ __ ] whipping. ass and making bigger moves than just. being a [ __ ] meat head ass fighter. And uh that's what I'm that's what I'm. attacking is the best of the best. >> And and Mike's a fan favorite. People. love him. People love both you guys. You. guys have [clears throat] such huge fan. bases and stuff. It's [ __ ] That's going.
to be a tough one to watch, bro. It's. going to be [ __ ] tough one to watch. And I remember earlier I was like, "Are. you excited for this fight?" And you're. like, "Bro, that's not exactly the way. to say it.". >> Yeah. It's not the feeling. >> What is the feeling more? Because as a. fan, Yeah. You kind of ask this dumb. question like you excited. >> The feeling is just [clears throat]. get in there and get out of it alive.
and don't [ __ ] up. So [ __ ] excited. [laughter]. >> [ __ ] for I'm [ __ ] scared and I'm I'm. not even gonna I'm just going to be I'm. gonna come. I'm gonna go. But yeah, I'm. [ __ ] scared. What? You have a. training camp. [laughter]. >> I'm scared now, bro. Damn. You Your. training camp starts tomorrow. What if. >> you're not even fighting? [laughter]. >> That's exciting. Watch your fight.
>> Nah, that's cool, though. >> You're right, though. That's kind of. fans. It's hard to like so few people. could put themselves into that. perspective, bro, because so many so. many people a fight is one of the. scariest things, bro. It's like public. speaking with your [ __ ] face and. fist, you know? It's the scariest thing to people and. the fact that you guys do it, man. I. think that's what makes all the fighters. warriors. Like when I go watch UFC, dude, I I'm I'm like these these people. are [ __ ] They do something that's so. foreign to so many people. >> Remember Gladiator when the when when. the warrior the.
Russell Crow is like getting ready to go. out and he he does that. He's he's he's. been in war forever. And he's standing. there and um and he's getting ready to. go out like [ __ ] we got to go to war. like some [ __ ] uh slaves. This is. crazy. And he's looking at the other. slaves. You got to go to one and it's a. guy in front of him shaking and peeing. >> You know what I'm doing? >> Yeah. >> [ __ ]. >> [ __ ]. >> Yeah. That's everybody. >> Like you don't know nothing about that. >> And he's just sitting there. That's a.
good [ __ ] scene right there. >> Yeah. He's like, "Calm down. We won't. make it out alive." [laughter]. >> So that's that's that's. a gladiator. >> Remember he's standing in the back and. they're all there and they're they're. making them. They go out to fight. They're like, "You're going to fight in. Fire Entertainment.". >> And then the guys in front of him, but. that's what he does cuz he's running. right away way [ __ ] they were hunting. him down and he he ran the whole army. So that's what he does. And he's going. to go out there to go to war with a.
bunch of rookies. He's like, "Come on, let's And then the guy in front of him. just peeing. He's shivering. He's peeing. and he's going. He's looking like damn. that's [ __ ] up. [laughter]. >> Stay by me, dog. You be. >> stay close, bro. Stay [ __ ] I would be. hiding under somebody. >> So that when people say, "Are you. excited?" The guy who says, "Are you. excited?" Reminds me of that guy. >> Yeah. >> You're like, "Come with me, bro. Let's. go to war." [snorts]. >> Amen, bro. Um and your you have a fight, too. a just announced on the card.
against Brandon Jenkins. >> Yeah, Brandon Jenkins. So, it's the same. day, May 16th. And uh yeah, he fought in. UFC a few times. He fought in PFL. He. fought a lot, too. So, >> and it's uh it's MMA. >> MMA. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, yeah. >> Do you prefer one or the other these. days? >> Not really. I've been fighting boxing. My last MMA fight was in 21, so. I'm excited to get back in there. >> He boxed uh when I fought, too. He. fought Who did you fight last? Uh, my.
last fight, well, my last fight against. a guy. >> on MVP. It was against Ariel Perez. But. the fight before that, the No. Yeah, that that was in August. But the last. fight I had Oh, before that was uh Ben. Henderson in in the UK. >> Yeah. >> And he fought Who did you find? P He. fought Pettis and then Steven. >> Yeah. Beat him both. And then. >> And that was all boxing, right? >> That was all boxing. Yeah. But [snorts]. yeah, I'm getting back in the MMA right. here. >> And will you guys train together? Will.
you guys will be in camp together? >> Yeah. >> So, what does the camp look like this. this time? Does it look different. because of these fighters that you're. fighting? Like, do you start to shape it. for that? >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, with boxing, there's. boxing all the time. Now, now we got. wrestling wrestling coming in, uh, MMA. fighters coming in, kickboxers coming. in. It's a lot more work than easy ass. boxing. But yeah, we got everybody. coming in for four full full war war. zone. We get the best of the best in. every art. We get the best kick. I'm.
gonna bring uh. >> I'm gonna bring uh Joe Schilling out. a few. Yeah, he's got to fight, too. And. then they got bunch of kickboxers. they're going to bring out with with. them and and we'll drill and train that. And I got my boxing coach Richard Perez. and then me and him and about a dozen. other pro fighters in the gym. And then. we're going to bring sparring. We're. going to bring sparring in for that. And. then um I got Nick Savvar runs in my. wrestling program at the gym and he's. going to bring in wrestlers and I got. Ernie Reyes out here rolling with me.
everywhere. >> He's the best dude. Remember when he hit. Bobby? >> Yeah. >> We're not going to say we're taking that. out. Ernie, don't even worry. >> Asian on Asian crime. >> We going to be some brown on brown. crime, [laughter]. >> dude. Yeah. A lot of people. >> a lot of people think you and Mike Perry. should fight for the winner gets to say. the N word, bro. That's what it really. should be, I feel like. [laughter]. >> Uh, and I heard you guys are going on a. train right after this. >> We're Yeah, my boxing coach just flew.
in. So, we're going to go meet him. I. wanted to take a nap, but it's good. Remember that one guy who don't like. naps? >> Oh, yeah. He had beef with naps. >> Who was he? >> John Bernthal. >> It was on Instagram. You know who it is, right? >> John Bernthal. >> Yeah, that guy hates apologized. >> Oh, he hates naps. I know who John. >> Was he sarcastic about about. >> Did he a No. Well, kind of. >> Yeah, he was. >> Um. >> I I I don't like naps. If you ain't. doing [ __ ] either, but if you're doing. [ __ ] you need a nap. >> Yeah. Some I can't If I If I know I have. a lot of [ __ ] to do, though, it's hard.
to [ __ ]. >> I don't call it a nap either, [ __ ] I'd. say I [ __ ] close my eyes for 5. seconds. Naps, man. >> I don't take naps. I I still don't have. time for naps, man. I [ __ ] that guy's. beef with the [ __ ]. >> dude. [laughter] This [ __ ] takes. naps. I don't trust people to take naps, dude. He I just found out he doesn't. take naps, dude. Hey, grown ass man. No, you don't [ __ ] you, dude. Yeah. It's. like, dude, dude, like the whole world's. moving while you're napping, bro. It's. [ __ ] I can't [ __ ] with a nap. I just. got I. >> Hey, you want to know something? I take. naps. I Hey, I take naps. I don't sleep. Hey, if that dude came with me for a. day, what's his name again? >> John Bernthal.
>> I like him, too. He's cool. Remember on. the on the movie with [laughter]. >> He was on that zombie shirt. >> Zombie show. He beat the zombies out of. in Atlanta. >> But if that [ __ ] came with me. for the week, that boy be sleeping. He'd. be taking naps [laughter]. and I be I be waking. I'm like, I hate. naps, [ __ ] Get up. It's time to. grind. [laughter]. That guy should hang out with me. >> Will that's funny. >> He be napping. [laughter]. >> Will this fight will be Will this be. y'all's biggest payday for fights?
>> Same for me. >> Okay. And if that's too personal to ask, just let me know if I'm being online. >> No, same. No, it's regular payday. Yeah, >> cuz it's I mean Netflix is it feels like. to me is trying to get into the fight. game. Obviously, you know, this is going. to be kind of their first MMA card. Is. that right, Nick? >> Yeah. And they're just doing live events. like spectacles and that's why they need. the big names. >> Um, did you feel like something like this. would come along? Did you feel like just. the way that's the way that the business.
was headed? It was kind of like when the. pay-per-view models kind of flipped. over, you could tell some changes were. going to be made and he didn't know. about it. So, you're like, but now. you're like, "Okay, we could work with. that." You know what I'm saying? So, uh, >> yeah, we didn't know what to expect. Before you didn't see it coming, but now. that it's here, it makes sense. >> Yeah. >> You feel me? Yeah. >> But, uh, uh, I got my own promotion that. I'm planning on kicking off the whole. been since I was trying to get out since. I was trying to get out years ago. So,
uh, I understand it and, uh, it's cool. that that it's cool that I'm starting to. understand better and I'm I'm going to. learn more as I go and then I plan on. running [ __ ] over with it, too. [snorts]. Did you learn a lot from just like the. experience with the Jake Paul fight? >> Like, how? >> Like just like the just like seeing like. the business like more just having a. >> No, I seen it that developing. I I could.
see them I could see them picking up. game and and understanding that I went. and uh. I'm always learning something about. something. So I think every every. experience Yeah. you're picking up as. you go, but not specifically what I I. learned that. they're doing the same. >> Yeah. >> As we go, you know. >> Yeah. >> Was there a chance that you were that. there was going to be a a you were going. to come back into UFC?
Um, I want to be I want to go back to. UFC. Yeah. Uh, I [ __ ] um [clears throat]. I have bigger I have I have bigger. [gasps]. I have bigger offers from the UFC than I. got from these guys. [clears throat] But. but the the the offers were the. opponents weren't the right opponents at. the moment. And I believe everything in. this in this fight game uh in a lot of.
things, but the fight game is is timing. And I think that if I would have. went to the UFC, I wouldn't have been. fighting the fighters that I want to be. fighting. I want to fight the best of. the best. And if if if I'm not going to. get that, then I'm going to find fight. the biggest biggest thing I could. offer. >> Yeah. Like I like All right. For. instance, like I think that if I went. back to the UFC,
they want me to fight. Conor McGregor right now. For me, Conor McGregor just pull up his. record. Do we got his record? Okay, I. know this, but I'm like I'm thinking. about it. I'm like Conor McGregor just. [ __ ] lost to Porier. I think he got. knocked out on his ass. What's the last two so I can refresh my. memory? Poorier. Right. Okay. So, poor.
Porier knocks his ass out, right? And. then he breaks his leg, which was. horrible cuz Poor is a [ __ ]. sorry little [ __ ] And and. >> disagree. >> And he [ __ ] Yeah, I know. What can you. say? And I'm like I'm like he knocks him. out and then he gets his leg broken and. it's like, [ __ ] that's [ __ ]. horrible. like we're adversaries, bro. I'm like, "Bro, you broke your whole. [ __ ] that I don't wish that on nobody.". You know what I'm saying? And and then. he got knocked out. And then like I'm. like, "Okay, I hope he comes back and.
does good. I hope he does." You know. what I'm saying? And then everybody's. kind of mounting down. That's kind of. what I'm like, "All right, cool." And. then he's going to come back and I know. he's having a hard time with UFC because. I've been having my hard times with UFC. And I'm like, "Yo, good vibes, damn. handling your shit." And uh in the. meantime, I'm doing whatever I'm doing. And then when he. is ready to come back now and he's. motivated and doing what he's got to do. and I'm like, "Okay, I want to fight. [ __ ].
BMF [ __ ] who's claiming my belt. that's running all around. >> Uh Charles Oliver just won the fight, right?". >> Yeah. >> I'm like, "Right, you're rocking my belt. now and you're running around like. you're the baddest motherfucker." So. that's what I'm like, "Yo, what's. popping with the FC?" So I'm like, "Let's link up and get this fight. popping." And then I go back to talk to. them about it and they're all ready for. me to come back and fight Conor. I'm. like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Listen to. what I'm talking about. I want to fight. the best of the best when they are the. best of the best. Connor is great, but.
I'm not trying to go kill off Connor. when he's on his last dying [ __ ] leg. Yeah, literally. That's [ __ ] up. But but but I'm not trying to be the the. ending to some fucker's story like that. Like, we ain't friends. ain't none of. that. But I ain't trying to finish this. dude off. I want and that's what I plan. on doing if we're fighting. And at the. same time, I ain't trying to get [ __ ]. up by nobody who just got knocked out on. his ass and broke his leg all over time. and they're like, "This guy's down and.
out. Now he's none but motivated to. fight me, >> right?". >> Cuz who else you going to fight in. there? And they're probably going to g. [ __ ] BMF belt. [ __ ] [ __ ] assa who. I believe. I'll beat the [ __ ] [ __ ] out of. You. know what I'm saying? out of. >> Yeah, he been in the people I've been. beat him. I beat Pettis. Pettis choked. that fool. I beat Cerrone Sony kicked. him all up in his ass, pugged him like a. little [ __ ] And then uh but he. >> he's walking around with my belt though. >> Yeah, he got your jewelry.
>> He's walking around with my belt. And. this fool actually one time he won the. title and I like what's up? I'll fight. Al. I know I'll beat Oliver. And then. Olive Vera is like no thanks homie. I. put a tweet out like I'll fight him. And. then he put a tweet out like, "No. thanks, homie. I'm trying to fight for. big stuff, world championships and do. this." I'm like, "Oh, I'm okay. I'm not. I understand you have the right to big. league me cuz you're Mr. Champion.". Ethan, all right, go ahead. Put your. sorry ass in. And then. few months later,
a little while later after Conor breaks. his leg all up and gets knocked out all. the place, this was like, I'll fight. Conor McGregor. I'm like, I thought you. wanted a bigger and better things. you. picking on people, >> right, >> who are on the downfall and that's my. perspective on the whole situation. >> Got it. >> So then they want me to come back and. fight. >> Oliver. >> I believe they want me to come back and. fight Conor McGregor, not Olivera. You. know, I'm like, well, I'm going to fight. for my belt that I created, that I. deserve since I started a whole division.
to bring value up to all these [ __ ]. fighters. >> Right. You started BMF. >> I started a whole [ __ ] That's me. That's my belt. you're wearing on my. hip. So, yeah, you just got tatted with. a BMF belt. That's me that you're. holding. Okay. And they're like, "Okay, we want you to come back and then. maybe later we'll do the" I'm like, "Okay, well, you know who's doing a good. job? The same almost close to the same amount. offer for Mike Perry, who's the [ __ ]. most violent [ __ ] around right.
now doing things, taking over. businesses, running [ __ ] doing his own. promotion." I know. >> And I'm like, >> that sounds a lot more. a lot more I'm a lot more enthusiastic. to get up and running and get ready to. train for this [ __ ] who's going. to knock me out or I'm gonna knock his. ass out and we're going to take what's. [gasps]. who's the bigger dog or the bigger best. [ __ ] there are. You know what. I'm saying? And then in the meantime, I'm not fighting for MVP. I'm fighting. for Netflix and I'm fighting from Real.
Fight Incorporated, which I'll probably be. doing next with Netflix anyway. real. fight entertainment on a thing and show. you how to throw a real. uh MMA fight show. I've been in the UFC. for 20 years now. So, I'm like, yo, I'm. going to do that from real fighting. with, you know, I'm not working for. [ __ ] MVP like all these other. [ __ ] are. I'm a UFC fighter. I'm working for me for real fighting.
And I'm hunting Jake Paul's. [ __ ] ass. Not taking a fight. with a guy who's on the comeback. Me and. [ __ ] Connor will fight again when the. time is right and it's time to fight, but it's going to be when we both on the. uprise, not not when someone's dying out. or coming. I'm not nobody's comeback. story either. So, I'm fighting the most. dangerous, most violent [ __ ]. there is on Netflix and then I'm hunting. his boy that he works with MVP. So,
that's what I'm doing right now. That's. that's my objective and that's what I'm. doing. >> I didn't want to talk about it, but. that's what's happening. >> Oh, no. I didn't and I didn't know that. >> No, it's all good. But if it came up, that's what it is. >> And is Real Fight Incorporated? That's. your group and that's and you guys are. co-promoters on the fight. >> Yeah, a little bit. Then we're having. I'm like, do your thing, whatever. I'm. just going to do this cuz I stay active. I want to stay active. Fighting cuz. that's what I have respect for yourself. Do what I do and not fighting is not it, you know, and I I fight. That's what I.
do. So, I plan on fighting forever and. that's what I'm doing right now. Finding. the best guy I could fight on the. outside. I'm bigger than fighting some. no-name ass [ __ ] in UFC or. somebody on a down spill. I'm like, >> but as far as far as UFC is concerned, I'm [ __ ] in love with UFC. That's my. [ __ ] That's where I come from. And. that's what it is. And uh all this [ __ ]. came from it. Like even Jake Paul's. [ __ ] ass. and he's over here having a beef with. UFC. I'm like the UFC made you.
[ __ ] cuz you found a loophole. when you went box a bunch of UFC. fighters. I know too. I'm in on the. joke. You MMA fighters cannot box. You. know what I'm saying? Who was the fight. that uh when you when you hear him say. this stuff, Chris, how do you feel about. it? >> I just listening. That's how that's on. it. That's his thing. So, yeah, I feel. it though. Yeah. I don't know. That's his. situation. I don't really know. But,
yeah. >> Do you like do you think he needs any. different type of prep to fight a guy. like Mike Perry? >> No, I think Mike Perry's a good a good. That's right up the alley for a real. fight. Yeah. >> Yeah. [ __ ] The good part about him is. he comes to fight. He's like he comes. down, he tries to take you clean out and. that's That's what I'm trying to do, too. And if you're going to try to take. me clean out, you know, it's it's hard. to fight a guy who's trying not to fight. you. And a lot of my losses on my record. or any fights I've lost have been.
[ __ ] who are trying not to. fight me, you know, and loophole around. the whole fighting. Even like even like. Paul, I feel like I beat Paul, but uh a. lot of people felt that way. >> But it was his like big show, so it's. like okay, all right. But I know I know. from experience I ain't winning no. decisions even if I do. So watch that. fight over and don't read the punch. count in your own count without somebody. else's. I won that fight too. >> And you mentioned uh a couple of guys in.
that and uh you mentioned Porier who I'm. obviously a huge fan of and I love. What. was the um and yeah and I and I. obviously disagree with how you how you. feel about it but you guys are fighters. and I'm not. >> [ __ ] Yeah. I'm not I'm not in you. guys' universe. So, um except as a fan. Uh why didn't that fight ever kind of. show up for you guys? >> Cuz he had [ __ ] surgery when we were. supposed to fight. Yeah, there's a video. of it. Pull the video up of him in the. uh hospital. Uh. >> wait, no, he had part of his knee scope,
didn't he? No, his hip [ __ ] [laughter]. >> Yeah, we. >> that fight was lined up when we had. Dustin Porier on in 2018, >> right? Yeah, he's got [ __ ] Pull the. video when he was in the hospital and. they [ __ ] you, Nate. You digs? If it. was a [ __ ] I will say this, it looked. just like a hip. >> [ __ ] [laughter]. >> Look at that. [ __ ] removal. >> Yeah. >> Did he say [ __ ] you? >> Talking all that [ __ ] about steroids. [ __ ] you, Nate. >> He's on anesthesia,
>> bro. His was [laughter]. his penis was removed. >> Yeah, penis removed surgery. So, we. didn't get to fight. >> Y'all [snorts] are kind of Did we Was. that one that like uh did that Let's. make fun of him a little bit. [laughter]. >> Come on. >> Louisiana [ __ ] boy. >> I'm kidding. I know. It's all good, baby. >> We [laughter] love you. Ny, >> you guys are one of those guys that.
>> he quit his job and then was like, I. want a box in a thing. I'm like, why'd. you quit too early, stupid? He [ __ ]. was hurting it. He couldn't even move. one of his legs. >> He's emotional. >> I mean, he didn't have much motion. [laughter]. >> He's emotional. He's [ __ ] uh what is. it? [ __ ] estrogen levels were high. >> He got estrogen high. [laughter]. >> I would never want to get hit by his. estrogen then. That's for sure, dude. >> That [ __ ] rubs off. That's why I'm like, I'm cool. I'll find that [ __ ] cuz it. rubs off. It does. You hang out with.
[ __ ]. You know what I'm saying? What if you. fight one, too? And then it's like you. [ __ ] he tried to hold on to you too. much. Like you got [ __ ] on me, >> bro. He's a [ __ ] one of the toughest. UFC fighters ever, bro. >> He's one of the greats. >> Poy. >> Yeah. >> Whatever, dude. [laughter]. >> I'm kidding. >> No, he's one of the greats. >> Yeah, he's done good. He's done. >> I I'll I'm going to change the subject. >> Fight, >> huh? [laughter]. >> I'm kidding. I'm just giving you [ __ ]. >> Uh is do you think Jake Paul will ever.
fight MMA or do you think that's all. just a. >> What do you think I'm doing here? >> I'm on the hunt. I'm going to take his. ass, clean out. I got to fight Perry, get through the fight, who a who's a. really [sighs and gasps]. big task at hand, and then we get the. Paul fight and um. >> and that'll be MMA. >> Yeah, we'll see. Time will tell though. And I ain't going to. >> But he said a lot that he's going to. have fight MMA. Jake Paul said that. >> He says that. [snorts]. >> That's what he says.
>> That's what he says. >> We'll see. I think he will. I think he. will though. I'm just saying uh. what did they say? >> Talk is. >> project it into a [ __ ] existence. He. does that good. So yeah, I think. speaking into existence. >> Yeah, I think he will. >> Yeah. Um. >> do you think Jay could win an MMA fight? >> Uh not against him. No. >> Um we're going to do just a little bit. of word association. We're going to put. some pictures up of some guys and just. throw the first word that comes into. your head, Nate, on these guys.
Can I. >> go for a second? >> Yeah, sure. I'm ready to work. >> One time I was um I was traveling. somewhere, you know, cuz I had my. luggage with me and everything and I was. I think I was in Guam maybe or Viet Guam. or somewhere, I don't know. And I couldn't get the internet. They. didn't have it. Have you. watched those? >> Yeah, dude. >> They're [ __ ] good. >> So good, bro. Elvis is the [ __ ] man. >> Priscilla. Did you see the Priscilla.
one? >> No, I didn't. >> Bro, go see Priscilla's good. Oh, it's. good, bro. Yeah, it's still I mean, it's. still just mostly about Elvis. >> The wife or the daughter? That's the. wife. Michael Jackson married the. daughter, right? >> That's the wife, dude. >> Speaking of grooming. >> Yeah, speaking of grooming, bro. >> What did that mean? Grooming. >> Grooming is when like somebody uh. [laughter]. >> like what do you mean? What do you guys. >> grooming is like if somebody's like like. >> helping somebody over them or. >> like somebody like becomes like when an. adult becomes friends with a kid.
>> So like when I was a bus boy actually. it's true. When I was a bus boy I met. this. >> That's why you said grooming. >> Yeah. [snorts]. >> I met this dude. >> THAT GROOMER. DON'T SLAP ME. >> I got sacked to slap a groomer. >> But grooming happens, bro. It's. fantastic. >> It's cuz I shaved. >> Cuz it's become a popular American. pastime amongst a lot of our. politicians. And uh. >> I didn't get it until Andrew came in. >> He got groomed. He's the one who got. >> He got groomed, bro.
>> All right. Ain't nobody got groomed. around here. Groomed. >> Okay. Well, >> god damn it, Theo. >> I ain't coming here no more. What about. [laughter] uh coming here? >> What did y'all think of the uh of the. UFC of the 250 card? The White House. card. >> Who going the card again? Pereira. >> Yeah. >> Main events. Aliot to Pereira and Justin. Gatei. Uh Kyle Dawis, Bo Nickel. >> Pereira's on there, right? >> No, they I I think they wanted to do. Pereira. >> I thought he was in the fight. Uh G or. something.
>> Can you pull the card? >> Yeah, I think I think that's on there. >> I think it's going to be a good card. Gi. Pereira Gy Mali's going to be on there. That's cool. It's going to be tough. >> Uh. >> Chandler's on there. >> Who? >> Chandler. Where? Where? Where? Who's he. fighting? >> He's fighting a refle. >> Who the hell is Bon Nickel fighting? >> Diego Lopez. That's going to be dope. >> They're just pumping up BL. Who the hell. is that guy? >> Kyle Dawkins from Phil Philadelphia. He's good. >> Look at Diego Lopez. A little mustache.
[laughter]. >> That's a good picture, dude. That's. hilarious. Dude, they're doing like. extensive background checks for people. that are even going to the fights. Do. you think you guys would even be able to. clear the background checks, do you. think? >> Yeah, right away. I I have no record. I. go to Canada. None of my homies could. get in. They all got Dazz. I'm good. [laughter] I'm flying colors, baby. >> And Trump's Trump Trump's my Trump came. to When I fought Mazol was the first. time a president ever came to a fight. >> Really?
>> Yeah. >> I didn't know that. >> Yeah. I invited him. >> Did you? >> Yeah. I was like, "Yo, we found him for. the baddest [ __ ] in the game. belt right here." And he's like, "I got. to go to that." I like, "Yeah, come. through." dabbed him up when you were. walking out. Well, that was. >> Anyways, >> seen him. But the fights was wild. >> I take full responsibility for that one. [ __ ]. >> Who brought a president to a fight? Nobody. Mike Tyson. No, that he wasn't. the president then. >> Was he?
>> No. No. When Mike know. Oh, yeah. Hell. no. No. No. >> No. I just know Trump was at Mike Tyson. fight. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Um, yeah. Bring up some pictures. Let's. do Ward Association. Fire through some. pictures here. Nick, first word. Uh, Nate, sorry. First word that comes into. your head. >> Conor McGregor. [laughter]. Next. Next. >> Elijah Gutierz. That's [ __ ] up. [ __ ].
>> champion. >> That's right. We keep getting him up. >> I'm sorry, Dustin. We were just playing. GSP. Um, >> OG. >> Yeah, you go. >> OG. >> Yeah, >> fasting. He's the guy who taught me. about fasting. >> Obnoxious. [laughter]. >> Okay. >> What's hotto? >> Look it up.
The Grinch. Okay, here [laughter] you. go. >> The man. >> The man, bro. >> Who's that? >> That's Who is that? Oh, that's Lindsey. Graham. He's a guy who he's the guy who. everybody is saying is uh that he's like. just supporting Israel because they have. proof on him that he's like like a g. like lowkey like closeted gay dude. >> I'm going to say I don't know. Oh, poor.
Elijah that back fat cut cappucc. I didn't mean to do you like that Eli. >> Hey Lindsay, why don't you just admit. that you're gay and then people won't. bother [laughter] you anymore. >> That's funny. >> He don't want to admit, >> why don't you just admit that you're gay. and. >> Hey, see that right there though, Theo? That's why people should learn. jiu-jitsu. >> Right. >> You know what I'm saying? >> Right. If he'd stepped up right then. >> Yeah. Because I'm gonna [ __ ] you up for. doing that to me. Yeah. You know what. I'm saying? And what if you can't?
>> You know what I'm saying? >> So why wouldn't he want to learn. jiu-jitsu? Like everybody, >> girls, kids, >> everybody. >> Do your Are your kids in jiu-jitsu? >> Yeah. Yeah, for sure. >> Would you teach Lindsey Graham. jiu-jitsu? >> The gay guy? No. [laughter]. Absolutely not. I'll send him to somebody though. He'll. be all right. >> You guys know somebody in DC that could. train him? I don't know anybody in DC. No.
>> Or Virginia maybe. >> Um. >> Theo talking to Mike. >> Okay. Uh. >> do you ever wonder what they asked for. telling you to talking like what. >> do you ever did you ever want to? >> I don't know. I haven't trained enough. >> No, [laughter]. bro. >> Yeah. Hey, but sometimes you know like. cuz my boy out there I'll be like hey. pick up your thing and fix your shirt. I'm like. [laughter]. >> sorry guys. Um, one. >> I'm just trying to relate here a little. bit. You know what I'm saying?
>> One uh a great moment that you had uh. after a fight. >> groom that boy. >> A a great [laughter]. >> I'm playing uh a great moment you had. after the fight with Michael Johnson. when you called out Conor McGregor and. they took the like Rogan like kind of. stopped you from talking to the mic. Did. you have more you wanted to say on that? >> Yeah, I was about to go off on. everything. I was going to be like [ __ ]. which [ __ ] fight harder than. you. Train harder than you. Everybody. [ __ ] everyone here. [ __ ] your mama. Woo. But he said it was a good thing.
>> because anything could have happened. Endorphins. I'm like, "Yo, >> I told you this was gonna happen." Woo. So, I would have went off and I'm glad. it got stopped when it did. But then I. was telling my brother, man, I shouldn't. have said that cuz he said it cuz he's. like, "Who gives?" My brother knew. He's. like, "Who gives a [ __ ] bro? You think. anybody didn't see that?" Like, "Oh, yeah. I forgot." [laughter] So, it. worked out. It was good. >> Well, uh, >> shout out to Joe. It was a good. stoppage. >> Yeah, good. I could stop it [laughter]. cuz I could have said anything and said. just what I needed to say. If I would.
have kept going, I would embarrass. myself. >> Amen, bro. >> I already am kind of still was. embarrassed about a little bit of it, but I always am. So, it's cool. [snorts]. >> Well, like you say, you got But you put. it out there, bro. You know, you're. running on endorphins. That's different. Well, um. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You got the confidence. to say whatever, right? No, I'll say. anything. [ __ ] everybody here. >> You're like, what? What if they turn on. you? I shouldn't have said that. >> Sorry, guys. I was high. [laughter]. I was high. Can you fight high or no? >> I wish.
I was kind of high when I fought Pettis. Not really. I I smoked a fat blunt right. before we walked in. Huh? Remember when. we walked in in LA? >> Not allowed to smoke weed right now. >> Yeah. Well, well, well, >> you can't just bring in that weed in the. locker room and smoke at the commission. in front of the commission. So, I I got. really high and then we walked in. But. that was like an hour and a half, two. hours before the fight. So, I was. lingering high, but it would be great to. when they're when they're when I was. going to say when you walk out to smoke.
a lump, but the best part would be to. like smoke some right when they're going. in the blue corner. sex. My bad. Hurry up, please. That'd be. the best, I think. That's me right there. >> There you go. >> Did um. >> That's me. >> It is. Didn't That's me. Did your. because I know that uh Nick got part of. his thing was his suspension was for. weed, right? Whenever he got suspended. >> You should pull up that one fight. What. when Yeah. Nick got in trouble for for.
weed. Hey, can you guys pull up a fight? Who's that that Hawaiian guy that you. fought that you went dink cracked after. after a shocker? Remember the guy who. you hit after you he knocked out and you. cracked him with the. >> Oh, >> think about it. I forget. >> Bowen. >> Drake Bowen pulling Chris Villa versus. Drake Bowen. Let's watch that. I laugh. at this fight every time. [laughter]. That's hilarious. That is funny. Nick got suspended for. for for [sighs].
five years or some [ __ ] like that when. he was already [ __ ] older and it was. like ridiculous. It I forget the. situation. Was there ever a part where. they where when you were uh when you. were like heavy in the UFC were you Oh, here. Let's watch it. >> Can you go to the end? Yeah, just go to. the end. >> Oh, yeah. Hold on. It's coming. >> This is. >> all right here. You can start it right. here. >> Dink. What's up? Wise. blam. [laughter].
>> I never get a win like that. >> I'm trying though. Like, what up dog? >> Do one more time. Repeat. >> That's fun. [laughter] That's fun to. watch. That makes you want to fight. >> That's what I'm going to do to anybody. who groomed me. >> You almost tried grooming. You almost. had it against Leon Edwards. >> I know. I did almost get Leon Leon. [ __ ] ass. >> Respectfully, do do you have any regret. for not going after him? >> I did go after. >> But you pointed after you rocked him. >> Let's clear it up. Put that fight on.
Put on and write that part. I'll show. you. People don't understand. They just. like to make that the narrative of what. happened. >> Yeah. Thanks, Nick. >> But don't forget to But everybody does. So, no. Good looking out. But everybody. does. So, if you if you watch the fight, let's take into consideration real. quick. Let's take into consideration. that this is 23 minutes of fighting in. Okay. And let me tell you beforehand. >> my step on your my eyes right here. My. eyes. and right here like after a certain.
amount of time I I had sweat in my eyes. Hold on. Pause it. Pause it. I had sweat. in my eyes so I could see him. I could. see him all completely clear, but like. my eyes were all sweated out and I. couldn't see his eyes. So when he went. like this, I thought he was playing with. me. >> cuz I couldn't see that. But if I could. see his eyes, I could like really f you. could see somebody's eyes if they're. conscious or not. And like when I. cracked him, I thought he was when I. pointed at him, I was like, "Bitch, shut.
up." Cuz I thought he was playing with. me. And I was like, "Fucking." And then. I was like I was like, "Oh [ __ ] he is. [ __ ] up." And then watch from watch. from that point how many punches I throw. and how much I actually really attack. him. >> Let's see it. >> But I was slow on it for sure at first. >> I couldn't see. My eyes were blurry. Not. I could I could see perfect, but I. couldn't see his eyes then. I thought he. was [ __ ] with me like, "Oh, I'm I'm. knocked out." And I knew he had a minute. left. So I thought he was like, "I'm. going to get out alive." I'm like, "Shut. up, bitch.".
>> What? >> That was in Arizona, huh? >> Yeah, the Arizona. >> That's fun. Yeah, it was. Okay, it's. happening. Bing. Okay, one minute left. Now watch how many punches I throw from. here on. Look, I like Right now I'm. realizing, oh, he is actually f. Okay, one. And he's grabbing a hold on. Ding. I'm like, come here, [ __ ] What's up, [ __ ] Ding, ding, ding. Trying. to get him. 24 minutes in though. I'm. not some [ __ ] energetic first minute. of the fight. I'm Look, I'm chasing this. fool.
>> Get off me. Come here, [ __ ] [laughter]. Look. what's up. You over here going to get. 11. No, I'm got you. Well, 30 seconds. Look, I'm not chasing him. I'm trying to get his ass. >> You know what I'm saying? But of course, I look at it and think what I could have. done, but it's like what it could have, should I was trying to get his ass, but. initially when I socked his ass, I. couldn't see that went like that. Like. [ __ ] you just kind of like, >> "Oh, he is [ __ ] up." And I started.
chasing him down. And so everyone like. you just took a picture and no it wasn't. even like that. I was trying to get him. I was [ __ ] fighting for 24 minutes. Hey everybody go fight for 24 minutes. then try to get a [ __ ] You know. what I'm saying? Like you'll be like the. guy gladiator peing on himself. >> Yeah. The [ __ ] you talking about? Fight. me [laughter]. >> now. >> But if it would have went on anymore, I. would have finished that for too. But. would have, could have, should have. And. there's only 25 minutes to what you. should have done. >> I knew that. I was just clearing that up. for other people. I knew I knew. N.
that's my guy. I like the guy in the. back. That's my boy right there. >> He knows Dumb and Dumber. He knows all. the references. That's my guy right. there. What's your name again? >> Nick Davis across Wisconsin. >> Nick Davis from Wisconsin. What's. popping? He like the cheese head. But uh. Green Bay Packers, huh? Look at Niner. Gang, baby. What's popping? >> Gang. >> Is that your stuff? Gang gang gang gang. >> That's your That's your brand right. there? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. [ __ ] That's tight. >> We came in with that. And I'm upstairs. That's another one that we came through.
with. It's just been. >> Let me get a hat. >> We've been a good group. Oh, yeah. We. got some for you on the way out. >> Um, >> shoot me a hat to put on. >> Yeah, I'll trade you a gang gang. >> I'll trade you a hat for a ticket to. your fight. >> I want one. I got a ticket for you. Come. on, man. You already know. [laughter]. You already know you got tickets from. somebody anyway. But you want me though. I'm going to get you a shirt. >> I can't wait. Put me in the. >> You wear my my shirt. I'm kidding. You're cool. >> I'll get a Diaz shirt, bro. I'll get a. Diaz Army shirt. >> Gang, I like the camo, too. Perfect. >> I'll get a Diaz Army [snorts] shirt. >> Can we get one for Chris? Yeah. Yeah. What the [ __ ] You guys left.
out Chris. That's cold. He add it again. Kevin Baker from Cheese Heads. >> I'm just kidding. What's your name. again? >> Nick. >> Nick. >> Nick. What? >> The fights early. >> Nick Davis. Shout out to Nick Davis. >> The fights early. >> I love Yeah, they're cool. >> It's the best, bro. These are cool hair. >> Just seeing all the people there. Thank. you. >> But at the fights, that's cool. You go. to all the prelims and everything, too, because that's where you're going to see. the some of the better [ __ ] People. don't even know it's happening. Oh, that's tough. It looks tough.
>> Yeah, it's good. Huh? >> Turn of the rat. >> Why is it the rat? Are you the rat? You're the rat. Your hair. Rat king. >> Yeah, they call me the rat king uh. whenever Brendon Shaw and I had a. podcast. It's called the king and the. sting. And they called me the rat king. because. >> Is Brendon Sharp still gay? >> I never [laughter]. >> I'm kidding. >> I never been with him. >> I got I never been [laughter]. >> I never been with him. I mean, he's. always seems his wife says he's. straight, bro.
>> His wife says [laughter] he's straight. >> That girl lying. >> No, man. But he gave me that nickname. And then that's kind of all I've always. been a [ __ ] like I'mma survive no. matter what, bro. >> I'm playing with um. >> That's my whole shop. I'm just talking. >> No, all good, bro. >> He's cool. We had We had a little. differences, but that's just the name of. the game. I got. >> Yeah, that's the name of the game. You. guys that's part of it. You got to you. guys also have to be your own uh. >> I have a real problem with like um. [ __ ] um. >> what spelling.
>> analyst. [laughter] I'll outsp you or. anybody in the UFC straight up. People. don't know that about me. What's up? Give me a word. >> Don't give me no words. >> Nick Davis was hunting a word right. there. What the [ __ ] Nick Davis. [laughter] Hey, but I can't spell. though. Good. I always [ __ ] on my girl. like watch this. >> [laughter]. >> Shoot. >> Hey. Yeah. >> What? Uh. >> I don't like I have a problem with I. have a problem with uh fighters. who start analyzing.
Is that what it's called? Like analysts. or try to think they're a Hawaiian or. some [ __ ] But but all the like but. there's guys like Chale sign. There's. all those guys that talk about. >> I like jail. Ch is my guy though. But. he's he like should have done that. before even he that's him. He should be. he should that's the guy who should do. it. But then everybody else starts. thinking and then what they do is they. go out and give criticism to a fighter. like an analyst. I'm like, "Bro, you. were never even a fighter. If that's. what you do, you're a [ __ ] And you're.
going to [ __ ] analyze and talk about. how fighters are, what they should do, and you know it all. You know it all. What the [ __ ] happened in your career. then? Why are you analyst now, Mr. Know-it-all? Why are you Muhammad Ali. and Mike Tyson and the best of the. best?" talking about negative about what. I should have done when I made more. money than you ever made in your whole. career at any fight, Mr. Champion. Talking about DC and [ __ ]. >> uh. all of them. You going to talk about. people fighting? Those are the kind of. [ __ ] who need their asses beat. Just a quick little thought for you.
Bam. [laughter] [ __ ] [ __ ] a fighter. analyst. You know what I'm saying? [ __ ]. annoys the [ __ ] out of me. >> Well, yeah. >> And we'll keep it. >> But they'll get theirelves into [ __ ]. like that, too. Like Brandon Chop got. his ass punked a little bit because just. cuz he does that stupid [ __ ] I'm like, well, I don't I wouldn't talk about. fighters, you know, unless it was to insult them. and be like, I'll beat your ass. >> I see what you're saying. >> You know what I'm saying? Like like. >> But you don't So you would never get you. would never be an analyst. >> So like I went if I wanted some funk, I.
would. >> Right. [snorts]. >> You know what I'm saying? If I wanted. some funk with them, I'll be like, "Okay, let's talk about fights today. This fight [ __ ] sucks. This dude's. boring as [ __ ] I've never seen a single. DC fight in my career except for when I. was on the same card as him one time and. he was picking up the dude and walking. around like he just owned him like he. was hella tight. Like damn, he's. schooling that dude. And then I look. back at the screen and he was knocked. out on his ass. That's the only DC fight. I ever saw. And he wants to tell talk. about.
what I should do and how I'm not a good. fighter and I should I'm like, are you. mad because you were the champion? And. and like when I was nowhere near. champion, I got paid way more money than. you. That's a [ __ ] bitter little. [ __ ] who's analyzing fights. >> Who? Daniel Cormier. >> Yeah. All the all the analysts though. I. just saw the other little I can't think. of the names. Well, I'm just saying. they're putting yourself in a position. to be roasted. But and the the bad part. about it is is they get the favor of me. talking and roasting on them. And that's.
what they wanted me to do. So I take it. back. DC, you cool. You're the man. He. traded me one time a tub of popcorn for. a thing of um. beef big thing of beef jerky and that. was pretty that's like like I I don't. know as a fan I like what those guys do. especially ringside because I need that. information. >> I understand from another person you. like to hear from. >> you like to hear from the pros. >> Yes. >> So it's cool too. So, I understand that, too. But from a fighter perspective, I'm. like, I wouldn't do it just for the just.
for the the um. respect I have for the arts. And like, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, you're a great wrestler, DC. You can't. fight for [ __ ] You win fights, but. you're not. you're a [ __ ] big old [ __ ]. Remember, he cried. >> I didn't see him cry. >> He got knocked out by John. He cried. >> I would cry. Hey, he always got his. record sucks. like you cried. [laughter].
>> I didn't mean to even talk about this. >> No, it's okay, bro. We can cut that out. >> [ __ ]. >> Cut that [laughter] out, bro. I'm. serious. We can do whatever. We can cut. it out. >> Okay. It happened. I'm kidding. It. happened. >> I did want to ask you. >> Shoot the shoot the [ __ ]. >> I did I did want to ask you. We're going. to talk about the Buzz Boy movie and you. guys' acting experience because I know. there was a lot of it. >> What's the Buzz Boy movie? >> Uh it's this movie we did. >> Who was in it? >> Couple Gooners. [snorts and clears throat]. Gooners. >> Couple [ __ ] [laughter] Gooners, bro. From outside. >> Coupleon. >> Couple Goonies.
>> From outside of Modesto. Um, [laughter]. >> no. I did want to ask, was there ever a. point though cuz you we talked briefly. about. >> Nick got sent out for weed. I did want. to ask you, was there ever a point where. you tried in your own negotiations to. see if they would like like you were. able to grant like get him back into the. UFC? And if that's something that's that's. >> No, I didn't I never even thought about. even how would I get them in? I never. even thought about it was like, you.
know, like when the cops take you to. jail and I don't want you to go to jail. I'm like, I know I can't get you out. >> I ain't talking to the cops. >> So, that's probably the situation I. didn't even think about it. Like, oh. [ __ ] they kic [ __ ] But how what was. I going to do? You know, >> I just didn't know if you had because. you're just such a name in such a. >> Yeah. But even then though, I don't. think I I with this bigot and name TV. would have any effect. And even though. even if even if I am now right now, how. I how I am, I don't think I could help. that, you know? I'm not going to go.
[ __ ] go head to the commission. They're going to do me or him any good. >> Oh, so it wasn't just up to the UFC. It. was a commission thing. I didn't. >> It was It wasn't UFC at all. I think it. was a commission, right? >> That's on me then. Um, will Will Nick. >> I don't know. I never even thought about. it like that. But yeah, I couldn't. Will. Nick help you train in this? Uh, do you. guys still train together? >> Yeah, he'll pop in and game me up about. everything I suck at. That's what that's. what he does. >> So, that's what I need him for, too. So, it's perfect. >> Hell yeah, bro. It's so cool that you.
have a brother. Um, all right. Let's. talk about. >> Let's talk about Bus Boys the movie. What was y'all's acting experience? Be. honest with me, bro, cuz y'all's manager. told me you guys had acting experience. What was y'all's acting? He told you. that? >> Yeah, he did. [laughter] We don't have. any acting experience. We keep it real. >> Do you have any acting experience? >> No. >> Real. [laughter]. >> That's the best.
>> I don't have any acting experience. >> We never act at a [ __ ] moment. >> Hey, but now I do. >> Let's go. Shout out to Theo. Now I do. >> Um, all right. Hey, let's look at some. bloopers from the movie uh from Bus. Boys, man. And thank you guys so much, bro. >> Hey, first and foremost, before this. even happens, I'm embarrassed. >> Yeah. Yeah. Same. >> No, dude. >> And I I do want to tell people this. though. >> Go if you if what Dave and I try to do. is we wrote this ourselves, we pay for. it ourselves, right? So, we want to try. to change the game of how we didn't go.
to a studio. Nobody's we we don't. there's no big dogs in this kennel, right? We just have we did this on our. own and we got uh great friends that. were able to come in and help out like. you guys who are you know just coming in. and being a part of it. And so we need. people to go and buy tickets early. because then they'll add it to other. theaters. >> Two [ __ ] don't know what they. doing. [laughter]. >> Embarrassing as [ __ ]. >> If people will go get tickets early, we. can add it to more theaters. So I just. want to let people know that in advance. Um all right, let's check out a let's.
check out some of uh you guys. This is. just some behind the scenes stuff. You. can find where it's playing. busboymov.com. >> What's up, man? Listening. >> your ass out of this neighborhood. >> [ __ ] ass [ __ ]. >> No, reposition. Chris, come over here. Right here by the door. You're good. [laughter]. >> Sorry. >> You get in the back seat. >> [ __ ] you. >> Yeah, I know. >> That was good.
>> Out of here. Out of here, [ __ ] Hey, bro. You guys, >> that's my aunt's car, bro. [laughter]. >> My aunt's car. >> Your aunt's probably going to like that. Yeah. >> You want to die, [ __ ]. >> That's cool. That's funny. >> He got the mirror. [laughter]. >> Say, "Get in the car. I got to get gas.". >> Hey, you go side to side, but don't come. more forward than that. What? [ __ ]. [laughter]. >> He gets in the back. >> You're running away. [ __ ] you, [ __ ].
>> Okay, hold on. [laughter] Perfect. Stop. Leave it started. Leave it started. It's. good. This good. >> [ __ ] ass [ __ ] [ __ ] y'all. >> Yeah, you better run. >> What? [ __ ] what you going to do. better? You going to do a kid? You going. to pull up? [ __ ] you. >> I almost [laughter] hit you up. I almost. hit you up. My ass be [ __ ] pissed. >> That's not even acting. That's just. being mean. [laughter]. >> Oh, that's embarrassing.
That's what they expect out of it. That's what's the worst part. >> Gosh, her favorite CD was in there. >> I got you. [laughter]. >> All right. [ __ ] them. [ __ ] you. [laughter]. >> We should have kept that car. >> I know [laughter]. >> that car would have been. [ __ ]. >> David Space is a man. Do not take those guys to an apple be.
[laughter]. >> That's funny. >> Who's that? >> Quit crying, [ __ ] Get the [ __ ] up. [laughter]. >> Get up, Theo. Get up, >> bro. That was fun that part. You were. You were tied up, remember? That was. cool. >> Yeah, dude. And then there was like You. guys were hilarious, bro. Cuz y'all. would sit outside, the car would just be. [ __ ] some type of music would be. playing, smoke would be in there, and. we'd be like, "Okay, you guys ready to. go?". >> Oh, yeah. Yeah, that was fun.
>> It was it, bro. How did you guys feel. like doing it? And how do you feel after. it? Would it be something you'd want to. do again? >> Yeah, it was cool. It was a good. experience. I never acted either, so I. was like, "What am I doing?". >> How do you feel about an eight? I felt like uh uh I wished that I could. have done it again and do it all over. again because it was a cool experience. and I didn't think about it at the time. I was thinking like it was work like man. what are we doing here? We got to be. acting and stuff and then when I left I. was like that was actually really cool.
and um. and then I saw the clips that you guys. sent us to and my daughter the whole. time has been like do I get to see the. movie Rand? And then I watch the clips. I was like, "Damn, I already told her.". Yeah. [laughter]. I'm just being like, "Fuck you, motherfucker." And it's like, so I like, "All right, I'm going to let her see it, though, cuz she has." But, uh, now I now. I have to come back and be a good Now I. have to come back and be a good guy. >> Yeah. >> If I'm back, if I come back because. >> But lesson learned and evolution. Now I.
know now I know. Now I know. Okay, I'm. going to do this. I want to be a good. guy. >> Yeah. >> Or a medium guy. That's fair to be I think being a medium. guy is pretty good. Had you ever had you. been a. >> But it was fun, too. >> It was cool. That's how I feel. >> It was fun to hang out with you and we. David Spade, bro. That's legendary, bro. That's [ __ ] my guy. >> So, I know that's when I think back on. it, too. I'm like, man, I wish there was. a way that I could make more of like. easy just to have been there with Spade, you know? It was just crazy, bro. >> Yeah. No, that's way cool.
>> Yeah. >> It's cool that Spade's still around. doing what he's doing, bro. That guy's. been around forever and that's the man. >> He's a [ __ ] boss. >> Oh, yeah. Hilarious. Tommy boy. Was. there other uh was there other movies. that you got offered to be in? >> They offered me to be in Roadhouse. Is it called Roadhouse or Roadhouse 2? The one with uh that Conor McGregor did. They offered me that part that Connor. did. I didn't do that cuz I ain't losing. no fight to no gay Jake all broke back. mountain ass. [laughter].
But if I can beat him in the fight then. yeah. But I think I'm losing no fight. then. No, no broke back bone. >> Yeah. >> You know what I'm saying? But it it. would have been cool too to do that. But. I'm glad I still stick to my word. I. wouldn't have done that. >> And it's easy to be gay on a [ __ ]. mountain. Try being gay at [ __ ] sea. level. All the real [ __ ] are. >> deal with somebody who might punch. >> But uh so I got offered that part. They. did a movie in Stockton with Leonardo. DiCaprio.
>> that just came out. >> Was that movie called Battle After? >> I'm not trying to brag, but they did. But I didn't get into it. that I I. should have that would have been way. cool to do but now now I'm more. interested that this all all happened. and I did your thing and I'm like now. I'm like okay I want to do over and now. I want to be now I want to do some cool. but I just want to be like you know I. want to be like a Spanish teacher or a. doctor or somebody nice you know what. I'm saying I don't need to be all that. mean that [ __ ] pep picking on people.
at least we got to punk you and David. Spade a little bit that's all. [laughter]. >> bro I didn't want [ __ ] you guys. But I'm. just. >> No, dude. This [ __ ] was hilarious, bro. The best parts were hanging out just. with Bobby Lee being. >> fun part was going there and there you. were there and [ __ ] David was there. and and a bunch of guys on the set were. hella cool, too. >> I couldn't even believe it was a real. movie till the first day I got there cuz. we just been doing emails. >> Remember when we threw the guy in the. trunk? That [laughter] [ __ ] was. hilarious. >> That was when we first showed up. You're. like, "Yeah, you just threw him, throw. him in the truck." I'm like, "What?" All.
right. >> It was some honky some. >> I was going to come in there be some. romantic uh guy and go on a date with a. girl in a movie and then they're like. you just got to remember you guys were. telling us the lines. They were telling. us the lines and I was like hell. >> and I was reading it and I was like the. way they were having me talk was all. weird and [ __ ] cuz I was reading lines. and like and then I got to the point. after we did a couple takes and you're. like no look dude. I'm like oh you guys. want us to punk you? >> Yeah. You guys [clears throat] want us. to punk the [ __ ] out of you like some.

Let's punk these guys. >> You guys are the only people I know that. can say [ __ ] you like 70 different ways. >> That was embarrassing. My girl, my. daughter wants to see it. >> You know what we'll do? >> She's going to see it. >> We have a cartoon. >> I told her she could see it. >> We created a cool cartoon. uh animation. that we'll do as well. I'll make sure to.
send you that. You can show her that. >> the Buzz Boys version. >> Yeah. >> Or was like something else. >> just if you got like of the characters. That's cool. >> So, that'll be something you can show. her for sure. >> Um. well, how about And how about this, dude? If we do another one, if we do. another movie, we'll come back. We'll. give you guys uh we'll give you a more. Thank God. different type of character. Maybe a. baker or something. >> Yeah. So. >> I like that. >> Yeah. A savant.
>> Say chef though. >> Okay. A chef. [laughter]. >> Chef. >> I don't want to be no [ __ ] ass baker. >> Yeah. [ __ ] that [ __ ]. >> Bartender. >> Yeah. Oh, dude. What if it's the. Stockton Doctors? Professional cornhole. player faces murder charges. >> after a professional cornhole player. with no hands and no legs is accused of. firing a deadly shot all while driving. We want to get to our home. [laughter]. >> What the freak? That really happened? >> You could be a defense attorney right. there. That's it, man. That's your next. role. >> Yeah, he's out. He's free. [laughter]. Let him alone. And even if he didn't, let him go. >> Let's see what they say here. Let's see. what they say.
>> Not really. Don't let him go. >> And bizarre to say the least. But before. we get any further into this story, I. just want to try to answer the question. that so many people have right now. How. did someone with no arms, no hands, not. manage to fire a gun and allegedly kill. someone? >> Look at him. It's early in the. investigation, but there is no evidence. at this point to suggest anybody else. was involved in the shooting fingerprint. and that he acted alone [laughter] on. this.
>> How they going to do it? >> That boy free, [laughter] bro. >> Give that boy a skateboard. He out. >> Free him, man. I think we're good on it. You think, Nick? Free him. >> He's laughing. Like, yeah, I did it, but. they ain't going to catch [laughter] me. They ain't got no fingerprint. [snorts]. >> Oh man. Um, oh, last question. Do you do. you get any residual bonus for starting. the BMF belt? Do you get a residual. bonus from it for each fight?
[sighs and gasps]. >> Let's call them. [snorts]. [laughter]. >> Let's call them. >> That's the answer. Uh, >> I should, >> man. Thank you guys, bro. Oh, wait. Um, what what was the last. time? >> I like when you were telling Trump or. somebody like, >> "Oh, yeah. >> Yeah, you about the light pole." You turn into. a [ __ ] porch lamp.
>> I turn into an owl. >> You watch You'll watch someone eat their. dinner. >> Oh yeah, [laughter]. bro. Yeah, I would get [ __ ] Dude. Yeah. I should have known I was going to. be [ __ ] up when I was doing all that. peep and Tom [ __ ] when I was a kid. [laughter]. I'd be over there just watching people. be families and stuff. [laughter]. >> [ __ ] looking. >> and mom would be like, "What do you want. for Christmas?" Like the neighbors. I. want I want to [ __ ] [laughter] be. like them. >> That [snorts] was it, man. Um,
