The Traitors Have Never Had It This Easy
Hello and welcome to this Traitors. reaction episode of The Resters. Entertainment. I'm Marina Hines. >> and I'm Richard Osman. What an episode. >> I could almost not got my intro out. there because it was a big episode. >> We were literally were just sitting here. just now saying I don't want we're not. going to talk to each other at all until. the microphones are on. >> We've sat in silence cuz if we started, we wouldn't have started. So, >> exactly. >> Let's get into it. >> At the end of the last episode, we said. there is an issue here which is this. group of faithfuls do not have a center. of good. They don't they have no. alliances. They have no groups at all. And lo and behold, the single worst.
episode I would say for faithfuls of all. time. >> I have one. >> flattering it even. >> Exactly. I have one glimmer of hope for. them, which we'll reveal at the end. We're going to do all of our predictions. at the end as to what's going to happen. next week. But let's begin at the. beginning, shall we? With the murder. >> They murdered Miranda as we basically. both suggested yesterday would be the. sort of inevitability. >> Yes. Immediately at breakfast, people. are like, "Oh, it could be Joanne. because you know she was, you think it could be too obvious, but. these are very obvious people in many. ways.". >> Yeah. And Joanne can, you know, you.
wouldn't put it past it being obvious. And as I said at the very beginning of. this whole series, the entire life of. the faithfuls has been ruined by the. fact that things were very obvious to. them and they've never recovered from. that. >> No, there was a Michael theory sort of. gathering steam, but they're so cowed by. him. They really are so cowed by him. It's extraordinary. >> We will get on to him at the round table. as well. Can I just have a brief pause. to say what a beautiful exit interview. that was by Miranda? Yeah. How lovely. She's really been the beating heart of. this show. Yes. I think she's a great. player, but also she brought a a warmth.
and a humor to it, which is which was. really really lovely. >> Yeah. And very much like when a chicken. does actually lose its head and can. stumble around for quite a long time. >> That faithful community is now without. Yeah. is without a head. >> I don't I'm not sure it's ever had a. head. I I mean at the beginning there. was lots of air punching and we said. you've done the worst thing possible. which is get rid of get rid of bad. traders early. Uh and it's coming to. pass. Just a couple of notes from around. the breakfast table. Someone said. Mayer's name was brought up for one of.
the first times and Joan said the hot. ones always survive. >> I want to talk about the mer of it quite. some length. >> Okay, we'll do we we will do that later. And also Kenny saying it's getting. easier being a traitor. And you think, Kenny, you have been unbelievable from. the second you were made a traitor. >> Yeah. Your problem is you're highly. skilled in a game that lacks other. highly skilled players. >> It's not a problem for him. >> You know, the rest is entertainment is. presented by octopus energy. Now, cinema. always really wants reality to cooperate.
and ideally on schedule, >> but it often doesn't. Nature is often. the biggest enemy of the filmmaker in. all sorts of film sets. Often out in the. open, often on very tight schedules, but. the weather doesn't always make things. easy, right? >> No. Film making is often a negotiation. with the natural world, which and. there's probably only going to be one. winner. My favorite story of nature is. Mad Max Fury Road which got of course is. in that incredible barren Yeah. wasteland but there had been huge.
rainfalls before it and the whole place. was full of vegetation and absolutely. there was just I know there were wild. flowers everywhere. It's like what? >> Yeah. And eventually they had to. relocate to Namibia because Broken Hill. was just too green and that's nature for. you. >> Film making can be very very persuasive. but nature often has the final word. at. Octopus Energy Generation is interested. in wind and sunlight and weather for. other reasons of course energy. generation. It backs builds and manages. renewable energy products across 435. sites in 21 countries. So this is rather. more than a passing interest in the.
weather. >> Should we go to the Scarecrow mission. then? >> Yes. >> Now can I just say before we say. anything else? Oh my god. >> By the way, I want to say something. about the production design of this. show. It is so incredible. Okay. The. sheer spectacle of that. In the old days. on a show like this, they would have had. sort of 12 spec, you know, bit lows and. visiones tried to make them look. The. sheer spectacle of that, not only in a. big wide aerial, but also in closeup. outside in daylight where you can't. light it. You can't trick it with. lighting at all. Every scarecrow there.
could have been in like a midbudget like. prestige horror. It was that they're. that beautifully made. >> The prop team that made all this, I. always I know I always say that I would. have liked to have worked in props. I. just want to say guys, I love you. you. I think you're incredible. >> We're giving props to props. >> Yeah, it was it was props to props. It. was beautiful. The camera work also on. this show. Can we also just take this. moment because especially in something. this big where you've got really the. size how far it was spread out. >> They did it brilliantly and the editing.
>> Yeah, it was absolutely it's the. production design of it and the the crew. on it all are just absolutely the best. and I think it's just brilliant. So the. scarecrow mission Richard which. >> you know that passes off as you would. expect thanks to James Blunt initially. but then a general consensus bar one. they immediately give the special power. the dagger power which gives you two. votes round table to Kenny and Maya and. then Michael suggests James a caster. So. there's 10 people there. They have.
managed to choose the three most. trustworthy, the ones, the ones they go, "No, these are the people we would like. the special power. These, I think, are. our absolute bankers." And they chose. all three traitors. The smiles. >> that Kenny and James and Maya were. trying to keep off their faces was. amazing. >> It was unbelievable. Maya really hardly. managed it. Sharon says, "Wouldn't be my. three." And I have to say I and. countless other viewers really felt for.
Sharon in this episode. >> Same. >> Sharon in this episode. That is Peggy's. entire arc in Mad Men. I found it so. moving. I really felt for her. She's. that person at work who is regarded as. junior and it's just talked over. I. thought that a lot of women will have. watched that and thought she said it in. quite a telling way because she said, "I. got mad at the boys earlier." because. she felt that men had dismissed her and. talked over her and then the like I find. the double cringe spectacle of men then. thinking oh no I must be an ally cuz I'm. a celebrity and on television I need to.
be an ally now so they were like well. why won't you say what trying to do. cleanup on what they've what they've. already done and saying well why won't. you say why say and she's in that thing. that we've all been in or lots of us. have been and you're like nope don't. worry you do what you want it's you know. it's quite clear you know they really it. was really quite awkward to watch that I. found. >> it was quite awkward to watch it. And. some of it comes from the fact that. James Blunt did lead the missions early. on. And the missions early on were how. are we technically going to go about. this? Like with the shield one um. yesterday where he's saying why don't we.
put all the pieces together which is the. smart way to do that. Like the ones. where people have to push things. He. sort of understood who should go where. and when. This is not that. This is this. is tactically and emotionally trying to. work out who the best three people are. That is not that's not a battleground. thing at all. That's emotional. intelligence needed. But I think because. >> I mean James Button has some. self-nowledge and he gets more and more. as this goes on. I think he thinks this. is the only thing that I can do. >> Yeah, this is my role. I bring it. appeared to be decided given that they.
were told they could have as long as. they like to do this task in. unbelievably short order that these. three people who are the traitors would. be deemed the most trustworthy. They. didn't have any. >> meaningful discussion about it at all. that we saw. And if they had had, I. think they would have probably put it. in. >> The fact that they decided very quickly, which is the right thing to do, let's. put two on everyone's and then we'll get. back to discuss. >> At that point, why is anyone running? >> You've got the whole day if you want. >> You could literally be there for hours.
if you so choose. It's not raining. >> Yeah. You're going to get the £13,300. This is not a kind of how much of the. money you going to get task. You're. getting all of it. The only thing is is. is there some tactical thing where you. know you can work out who to give this. power to. And they had worked that out. all immediately. They're still running. They're still shouting. Come on. Come. on. You can do it. >> You can you can do what? >> That's why I'd be terrible on on the. traitors because within a second I would. have just said, "Sorry guys, we we can. literally just sort of absolutely take.
our time with this one. There's nothing. to be gained by there's no jeopardy. here. It's so watchable. >> Whatso. >> so watchable. >> That's what they call that's why they. call me watchable. >> Yeah, >> I would have had to keep my mouth shut. on that and then saved it up afterwards. for when I talked to the uh uh when I. did my master interview and just said, >> "What's going on there?" with the old. that format doesn't work, but it looked. beautiful. And again, that thing of un. laws of unintended consequences. probably the funniest thing that's ever. happened on the traitors. just.
>> all of them just going no and quickly as. you say there's no time limit. >> Yeah. >> Very quickly just going no it's it's the. people we trust. It's the people we. trust most and we know we know exactly. who those are. >> And then just doing this awful thing to. this person which was Sharon which was. honestly a lot of people will found will. have found that really quite hard to. watch because they will have known. >> Absolutely agree. That's the actual. truth of what happens. It's a like a. kind of true version of what Ross Kemp. thought happened to him with the hat. >> Yeah. where you're like, "Ah, okay." No,
I I I really really felt for her. I felt. for her yesterday. I really felt for her. >> today. And also, you could see that she. was sort of deflated and beaten by it. because she was I don't work within the. system. That's the trouble. It's like, you know, unless it is the 1960s and. it's Mad Men and everything's changing. Yeah. But only it changes towards the. end. Okay. So, they basically have an. outdoor turret because. >> it's a like when the others go away. So, we'll talk about that bit first- because. there was a very very interesting. counter to that back in the castle. But.
yeah, the three of them talking to. Claudia and. >> Claudia just going I mean. >> this is but by the way within them it. was so quickly decided within them that. Kenny would get the dagger because. they've all tacitly agreed now that he's. the most competent. It's it's not even. like. >> you know Maya's kind of messed up on. that task. >> Well, she's the boss. >> Yeah, >> Ma's the boss and so she can she can do. whatever she wants. She she has. seniority. >> Obviously, it's not a cast. >> No. >> Um and so Kenny's got it. >> I mean, James, I think probably could I.
mean there's an argument that James. could have stepped up there. I don't. think he could have done because he had. been quite vocal about not wanting to be. at that point. Yeah, exactly. So, >> she would have then maybe Yeah. >> So, I think it had to be Kenny who we. previously saw creeping down the middle. of a crypt. >> trying to put someone off and now he's. uh. >> now he's gone double dagger. >> Just give him everything. I I. >> He deserves it. >> He's been amazing. But when they were. there talking to Claudia, I honestly. think 10 minutes of sensationally. brilliant, genuinely brilliant.
television. And I wonder if they kept. them back a little bit longer than they. ordinarily would have done because the. other seven, the faithful, were left. alone for quite a long time. Certainly. in the edit, left alone for quite a long. time. >> And all they were doing was talking. about which other of the seven must be a. traitor. >> Yeah. >> No one was talking about the three. people who are actually traitors who. they who they trust. It was seven people. going through a succession of different. rooms, each going through why one of the. others must be a traitor. >> There is a point in every series where.
you're just shouting at the TV. Do the. opposite. You're so bad at this. Literally, just do you like in Seinfeld. where George Cassander says, "I'm just. I'm failing at life so badly. I'm just. going to do the I'm just going to do the. opposite of my think of doing. I'll just. do the opposite of that and I will how. can I not make out better?" There's an. amazing bit where in in in the middle of. that bit in the in the castle again for. the producers, what a gift because you. there there's no way as a producer you. can get the traitors and the faithful. separated. You you can't really do it.
Certainly not for any length of time. They had done that themselves and then. turned in on themselves. Bash at one. point in his uh his master interview. said they said well who's the traitor? He goes well. >> he thought it's either Sharon, Joanne, Michael or Leanne. I think well apart. from you the only people left are Romesh. and the three traitors. >> and Bash is bright now let's talk about. the round table. >> the first gambit is Kenny saying to Bash. sorry I've just got to say the thing. about the about the bar and the what.
have you again because Kenny's just. going to have to keep stirring that. particular part. >> yeah he just he the interesting thing as. a traitor at any given time you usually. you only really have to juggle one ball. >> you know that's all you need to do it's. not complicated they're not they're not. clubs on fire is it watching it and and. Ingred made the point. She's absolutely. right. This is the stage of the game. where it is much more stressful to be a. faithful than it is to be a traitor. At. the very beginning of the game, it's. stressful to be a traitor because it's.
new and you know you're on your guard. At the very end of the game, it's. stressful to be a traitor because you're. so close to winning. >> This is the point where there are nine. 10 of you left. >> where as an act you could see with. Sharon the stress of the thing cuz she. knows she's faithful. She knows for a. fact she's faithful. She knows the game. is slipping away. >> And 30% of them are traitors. It's just. ridiculous. >> She has no alliance with anyone. But not. just that, she's not out in the cold. Nobody in the faithful has any alliance. >> There are no alliances. >> with anyone else.
>> There's kind of like weird professional. respect. There's professional kind of. intimidation, cowardice in the face of. people who you think are kind of. grandees. There's all sorts of things. like that. But then. >> there's no alliance. There is a glimmer. of hope. And I'm going to get to that at. the end. I think there is a narrow path. to victory for the faithful here. >> Gosh. Yeah. I mean it is narrow but yes. >> So the round table Kenny has the double. dagger. Worth pointing out that in every. single other round table so far in this. series it would have been meaningless. I. mean it wouldn't it wouldn't have made. any difference to anything. This one.
funny enough it was very very. meaningful. In the US traders where they. introduced this double dagger you were. allowed to keep hold of it for as long. as you want. could decide when to deploy. it and get in. >> and and the winner of that show kept it. for a very very very long time because. obviously a double dagger when there's. five of you left is very very powerful. When there's 10 of you is less powerful. That's an example of producers learning. a little bit from other series. They. they knew you have to use it. immediately. >> That James the Gardener had it in the. civilian version, didn't he? But it. didn't really mean anything because.
Yeah. Yeah. >> And that was only to be I think the rule. of that was you can you can use it. tonight sort of thing and it didn't end. up meaning. >> I had forgotten that. >> I don't think it sorry if I've got this. wrong. I don't think it meant anything. in the end. >> No, but in the American one it really. really did. In the American one it was. held on four round tables or something. unbelievably long. Yeah. >> We won't say who held on to it in case. you want to watch that series. And it's. very very worth it I would say. But it. was very powerful in that game. Uh and. in this game it's proved to be very. powerful which might end up being an. issue for Kenny. We'll see next week.
Michael had a go at Sharon and James. Blunt was telling everyone he was going. to go for her and then because Michael. had done it seemed to sort of take pity. or just be unable to quite push it all. the way home that he wanted to and he. sort of hinted that she was. >> Yeah, we had another of those Michael. moments. We talked about that one before. when he discovered that people have. voted him the sort of most, you know, the father of the house and he had that. dual thing of, oh, I rather like that. and this is trouble for me. He had. exactly the same thing and you saw. exactly the same two thoughts occur to.
him when Romesh says I don't understand. why you haven't been murdered because of. course you know you're such a powerful. force in the game and if they were to. get rid of you if you were to be. murdered this whole place would be. decimated and you saw Michael Sheen at. once go a whole place would be decimated. without me and also oh no. >> but he seems he seems fairly bulletproof. at the moment and also by the way three. names not being mentioned at all Not not. >> Maya Kenny James A. >> James Bond brought up the Miranda and.
Joan thing. Joanne was hilarious like. you know I said a few things. It was a. real like next morning I'm a bit. embarrassed at my behavior. James Aust. was like that can still be suspicious. This whole thing that Sharon's become a. different person. The most obvious. Okam's razor explanation is she's not as. well known as lots of you. She's young. and she said that's fine. She she's. still obviously quite nervous around. them. And then she said, "Well, I've. been working to get my confidence up.". >> Yeah. >> Given their dynamic, you'd think, "Oh,
they'll all just decide to go for Leanne. tonight," which again, they just don't. for some reason do. >> And the other reason her behavior has. changed is because she's the best. player. Yeah. >> And she's the only one who's trying to. work things out and she is surrounded by. people who are not doing their job. And. so she has to kind of go this is not how. I feel comfortable being putting myself. out there but I love this game and I. have zero option other than to take. matters into my own hands. That's why. she's changed. >> I told you it's Peggy and Madmen. And on.
that note, let's go to a break. This episode is brought to you by our. friends at Lloyds. >> Now, let's talk about movie con artists. Who are your absolute favorites? >> Movies, TV, and book, my answer is the. same, and it's Tom Ripley. >> I was going to say him. It's one of the. greatest characters of all time.
>> So, from the Talented Mr. Ripley books. by Patricia Highmith, there's five of. them. So, if you like Talented Mr. Ripley, you are in luck. He is like one. of the worst men in the world, but you. absolutely you root for him at all. times. >> Now, of course, deception makes for. excellent entertainment on screen. In. real life, when it's your bank account. being targeted, the charm somewhat. disappears. >> Yep. Lloyds have invested 100 million. pounds in Darkhorse anti-fraud. technology, which combines intelligent. monitoring and real-time alerts to keep. you safe from fraud. Click on their app.
or visit lloydsbank.com to find out more. about how Lloyds protects you from. fraud. AI powered scam checks, voice. biometrics, and real-time alerts are. just some of the ways Lloyds are. protecting you based on Lloyd's banking. group data 2023 to 2025. >> Welcome back everyone. You join us at. the round table. I mean, >> I've got so many notes for all this. Okay. Yeah,
>> it's time to it's time to vote. It's. time to vote. We start with Kenny's. double dagger. Yeah, we know that's. going to Sharon. >> Maya goes for bad, >> which by the way, weird. Yeah, >> a difficult one. Might be might be. raised at another point. >> Yes. Joanne goes for Leanne, which I. thought a lot more people. You knew it. wouldn't happen because there wasn't any. conversation about that, but otherwise. And then Sharon, Leanne, James A, Caster, and Bash all go for Joanne. >> Yeah. >> And then Romesh goes for Michael. Again, I'm want to talk about Romesh. And then. Michael and James blunt go for Sharon.
So it's Sharon versus Joanne. They've. got to do a speech. Sharon's was very. sweet. But Joan, I mean the trouble is. Joanne talks her own words persuasively. >> Yes. >> For a living. >> For a living. >> And she was very very good. It was very. good. >> She likes an audience. >> Yeah. And. >> Sharon has words written for her for a. living. >> And in any way is cowed by this group. >> and also has feels beaten already. >> Yes. >> And you can see she feels beaten. already. She she's sort of like, I feel. slightly uncomfortable with what's.
happened today. This is not as much fun. as I thought it was going to be. If I. can survive, great. If I don't survive, a bit of me will be kind of It's quite. nice to get out of this cauldron. >> And then we move to the cliffhanger. In. the next round of voting, Maya, Leanne, Michael, and James vote for Sharon. James, Acaster, Bash, and Romesh vote. for Joanne. >> Romesh, by the way, saying I don't think. you. really want to get on to him. Yeah. >> And we're going to find out where. Kenny's double dagger is going. But.
given he voted for Sharon in the first. one, I. >> mean, it must be And if it's not, he's. >> and also he understands the vibes of the. game and he knows regrettably he has to. pick her off. >> Yeah. >> And it's it's not very nice. But it's. quite it would be much worse if I think. if he changed it. I think he's going to. have to just stick and do what I. >> think. So if he does change, it will be. his first real misstep. Yeah, >> I think. And he hasn't made one yet, so. you wouldn't have thought he would. But. again, you know, who who knows at this. stage of the game. So, we're gonna. assume it's Sharon for the purposes of.
talking about next week. But if it is. not, then. >> wow, >> all bets are off. >> Uh, yeah. So, I said I wanted to talk a. bit about Romesh. I was wondering. whether Romesh has done an unbelievable. job in convincing people he is not a big. dog. And I always want to thank Joe Mara. for that bit of lingo that he's given to. the game in the way that heat, we don't. know who first said heat, but it's just. part of it now. Joe Mara has he has done. an unbelievable job. I mean as has Myra. in a way and we'll we'll talk about her. next maybe but he convincing people he's.
not a big dog. He's done brilliantly. Are we starting to see the first public. demonstration of his gut saying. >> actually I don't think it's either of. you. >> and he voted for Michael. >> Yeah. >> It's I can't Well, we'll go through our. predictions. >> Well, when I when I talked earlier on. about about there being a narrow path to. victory for the faithful. Okay, that. narrow path starts with Romesh. I agree. Okay, because I think Romesh has not. told us what he thinks. I think Romesh. has not formed any alliances because.
he's just been aware that that's not the. way to play the game. He's he's played. it beautifully. >> He's now told us something he thinks. Yeah. >> And because of the nature of his. contrarian nature in many ways, he will. be the first to say. >> we should do effectively we should do. the opposite. Yeah. If once Sharon goes. and you have to see her standing up. saying I'm a faithful and they're all. going to think if that's what happens. >> then he at that point could make a move. to become the leader of the faithful. >> So can the faithful coales around anyone.
seemingly at the moment no if Romesh. steps up then I would say yes and I say. one of the things that he absolutely has. in his favor is we've forgotten this. idea that there were five comedians in. there and none of them so far have been. traitors. No. Okay. Okay. And the people. that we have left are Ramsh, Joanne, and. James Acastaster. And I think Ramsh. trusts Joanne. He's just told us he. doesn't think that she's a traitor. >> If I'm Romesh, I know I'm a faithful. My. view is that Joanne is a faithful. At. some point, you have to start looking at. James. And and Ramish is bright enough.
to know that no one has got anywhere. close to anything so far. So Ramish kind. of I think this is this is their only. path to victory is if Ramish is keeping. an awful lot to himself. And he's. absolutely the sort of person who people. would coales around. I don't think they. would coales around Michael because. everything is too scattershot. I don't. think James Blunt wants anyone to coales. around him because he in this episode is. saying look I I just don't think I'm. very good at this and and and they're. not going to coales around Joanne and.
bash it would be hard as well. I think. Ramsh is the only person who can. marshall the truth. >> I agree with that. something is going to. break amongst them when they see Sharon. standing up there if if that's what's. happened and unless they do they realize. necessary to do something radical they. are losing and I believe that Romesh. thinks it's Michael and if he starts. saying anything I think they will say. actually Michael's been manipulating us. all along he's been pulling our strings.
you know I don't believe Michael can. survive the story now I just don't I. don't understand how he could in the. position he is at the moment how could. he and and and it will be rubbished even. if leading from behind who who affects. that and it might come really quickly. because I just think people are going to. think what happened to Sharon was really. bad and there's going to be a sort of. sense of shame or can we just talk about. Maya at length sorry at some length. >> we don't don't see a single person. suspect Mai except Bash is on the way to.
the task and says it and then he gets. dismissed Joan's theory that the hot. ones survive. I love this because she is like a final. girl in a horror movie, you know, and. except the twist. The final girl is. >> she was Freddy Krueger, >> I think. Yeah, maybe that happens in one. of the screens. >> But there's lots of there there's lots. of research into into criminal cases. where the the more attractive a. defendant is. I was just about the more. likely they are to get off. >> And in reality TV, people associate like. hotness with, you know, things like. trustworthiness and intelligence. Also,
by the way, this is a complete sidebar, but I mean the fun fur zebra jacket, if. you bought shares in faux faux fur at. the start of this, you are going to buy. an island at the end of this cuz my. jammer is sending everyone onto those. websites. Like, could I get away with. this? I She's my jammer. So, >> yeah, >> proceed with caution. But yeah, I have. bought a I have bought a a faux fur coat. during this series. She has been I'm. sorry to say mirror mirror on the wall, but she has been the fairest influencer. of them all on this. Interestingly, I.
bought a buttercream linen jacket after. the James Blond episode. >> Not a suit. Not the full suit. >> Full suit. No, it is the full suit. >> The full suit. >> Okay. Um, so yes, I just wanted to say. something. It is extraordinary. And her. and as I said with Romesh, her sort of. ability not to come off as a big dog is. is I I think Yeah. >> And Kenny's ability to to be a. sensationally good liar. >> and charming at the same time. It's is. very very impressive. and James flying. under the radar because he has chaotic. energy. Now, let's look into our crystal.
ball. Two episodes to go. We're going to. do what everyone at home is doing. What. do we think is going to happen? Who do. we think is going to win? I won't be. doing the final, but I will be doing the. uh the previous one. Um but we will be. talking. But there are only two episodes. left. We are very, very near the end. So, it's time to nail our colors to the. >> Have a blood bath in the next episode. because we've got to have only five. left. >> Yeah. >> So, we have to lose a lot. >> Yeah. I mean, we'll see. There might be. some little clever little twist they've. got up their sleeve. I would have. thought.
>> I mean. as I say if it's not a trade to win it's. because of. >> Romesh. Romesh has the strength to lead. anything against him. >> Yes. I think so. I think so. Let's. assume Sharon goes. >> Yeah. >> I think Michael next out. >> Yeah. >> Uh. >> Joan will be out. They'll come to I I. mean she might not. >> see I think that the faithful alliance. begins with Ramish and Joanne. >> Oh yeah, you're right. Okay, you're. right. >> Um I think Michael is the. >> Yeah. >> next to be probably the next to be.
banished and if not the next to be. murdered. >> I think he's the next Yeah, I I think. he's the next to. >> and at that point I think the faith will. have an opportunity. Yeah, I think at. that point Ramish can cuz who who's he. got? He has got Leanne. He's got Bash. He's got James Blunt and he's got. Joanne. >> Yeah. >> At that stage, >> it's like the 18 there. Everyone's got. brings different things and liabilities. to the to the van. >> But the fewer the numbers, the game. changes completely. It changes. completely and the tactics change.
completely. And there is a path for. Romesh to lead the faithfuls to glory. here. >> I feel Romesh will be in the final. >> I mean, it depends how it goes. I think. straight after Michael, I think that a. traitor will be banished. I think they. might get rid of James. I think they. might find a path through to do that. I. think at some point they have to I think. they they can't just keep saying it's. >> developed as a leader by that point he. will say we he will say the equivalent. of do the opposite and he will probably. say. >> it's a and and whether or not it's.
difficult for people to break the fourth. wall of the show or the show doesn't. like people to be shown breaking its own. fourth wall. So people don't say you do. this for a living or you know of course. they' put you can say comedians you can. say there's a way of talking about it. that is acceptable that can make it to. the edit. >> I think so yeah. >> but I think he'd be most comfortable. picking off James because just thinking. there must be someone like that in there. it's so unexpected we are so wrong about. everything we have to just do a 180. Yeah, I think so. And so we have to.
given that uh Maya and Kenny I think are. probably safe from banishment for a. little while and there isn't long left. >> You have to have three faithful up. against the two of them. >> Yeah, the end game as we always say is a. crapshoot. We're almost in format. breaking territory here depending on. >> Well, a scenario I can see for sure is. the last four are Ramish and Joanne. >> Who's the last five going to that final. episode? We don't know it at B5 because. they can do what they like. They can do.
what they like. >> They did last time have five in the. celebrity traitors final episode. >> Yeah. I mean, it depends if Ramish can. survive murder. And if anyone can, he. probably can cuz Ramish is also bright. enough to form an alliance with Maya and. Kenny, >> which is what I would do in that. situation. If he if he does work it all. out, then that's what he's got to do. >> But I imagine he could take Joan into. his confidence. Yeah. >> And Joanne is smart enough to sort of. know she's been sold something that's. worth something. She'll do what she's. told by that. >> No, but she but you know what I mean. She she also she's she's canny.
>> Yeah. Oh, for sure. >> You know, and when it gets to that end. of the game, it's very very pressurized. and you do it does focus the mind a bit. Feels like Meer and Kenny will make. their way through. So, yeah, if I was if. I if I was predict a final five, I would. say those four are in it plus a floater. >> Okay. >> And we we've seen many times before that. situation. 2v2 with a floater and all. that the traers have to do is persuade. that floater. >> Bash is just like a wild card. I love. him for me. So do I. >> He remains actually an unknown quantity.
in terms of I can't say for sure whether. I think he could be there and in which. case he could suddenly kind of really. come into his own in a in a much bigger. way. >> Yeah, I would have thought Blunty. because and and and I mean this in the. in in the loveliest possible way because. he admits it he's he's he's sort of a. useful idiot for the for the for the. traitors and everyone likes him. I. wonder whether they I think they might. turn on him. >> Interesting. I think they've done their. turning on him. >> Maybe they have. >> I think I think he's pre-turned.
>> You know, like one of those chickens you. buy from Little. >> Yeah. Okay. Maybe. I agree with you on. that on that final four. And if with one. other, but who knows? We could be. completely wrong. >> Oh, we're almost certainly completely. wrong. I mean, we could just be. returning here on Thursday and being. like, >> "So, they uh Joanne went. >> in which case a lot of our theories.". >> Yeah. Yeah. But. >> in which case, I want my avenging queen. Sharon to ride all the way to the final.
>> Oh, yeah. Um Oh, god. I feel bad for. Sharon. But yeah, I think. >> they will not like watching their. behavior. >> If this was if you. >> Celebrities won't like watching it. >> Oh, they they won't like watching this. episode. >> They will not like watching that. episode. No, this would have been their. worst episode to watch. We give the. health warning always that any of us any. of us in that same situation would do. exactly the same thing because it's very. hard. >> in that castle and I do think group. dynamics is such a huge part of traitors. and they don't have the dynamics for. lots of reasons because of the props. that have been taken out from underneath.
them and because of the way that. traitors were recruited and things like. that and the weird beginning they've. never really developed what they need. Now would be the time to do it. I think. Ramsh is probably the only person who. can do it. But yeah, you have to say the. traitor is a big big big favorite. >> It's classic. It's so great for it to be. Ramsh because he's the guy in the movie. that you're like, what? How's it fallen. to me to save the world? He's that every. mag. It's so perfect. And he's been so. funny. I found him so funny throughout.
the series. He's been he's been a. brilliant booking. He's as always as. always. I mean, the hardest working guy, but he is brilliant. So funny in this. But it is really like Jesus, do I, the. suburban dad, have to save the world. Okay, I've seen the movie a few times. Come on, Romesh. >> Yeah, even when Joanne said the hot ones. always survive and Ro, so you're saying. I'm going to win. >> Yeah. >> Okay, I have another question for you. So that would roughly be my prediction. in that not all three of the traitors. get through some you maybe James is cast. off somehow. >> He's the one that I'm You would say.
that. >> But let's say that doesn't happen. Let's. say a thing that you see very rarely, which is the three traitors just sail. And at the moment, genuinely, >> I think that is a definite possibility. >> And I'm not predicting it because. something weird always happens. But at. the moment, you would go, well, I mean, that's a definitive possibility. So, the. three of them go through somehow. Do. >> Well, that's a bit of a problem for the. for. >> each other. >> Well, >> is there a point at which. >> at this point you're just doing it's. just I mean, it's pretend, isn't it? Because it's for that someone's charity.
is getting the money. >> Yeah. It's not the same stakes as it is in the. Civilians game. Yeah. >> Um I don't think Mai would do it. Kenny. might think this is what the game is. Um. and is skilled enough to do. I don't. think James Akus would do that for a. second. >> I can't see a world in which any of. those three turn on either of the other. two. >> I I I don't really think that would. happen. They haven't they haven't played. like absolute kind of swashbuckling, you know, Killers with a smile at any. point. I mean, they are getting better.
now, but only because everybody else has. been so terrible. I don't think I don't. see that that would particularly happen. If anyone's going to do it, I think. Kenny might do it. I know Ma's got that. energy that like actually, you know, you. hear the high heels clicking clicking. and saying, "Sorry, you must have known. it would always end this way." And she. has got that energy to some degree, but. I don't think she'd actually do it. >> I don't think it I I think it could, you. know, you could see all three. >> Oh, if Kenny did it, he'll be the. biggest star in the country. >> Oh my god. But you know what? It was. just just reminding me. I mean,
honestly, that choosing the three. traitors as the three most trusted. people is one of the funniest things. I've ever seen in traders history. But. to come a mere 24 hours after Michael. and everyone was saying the in in the in. the um challenge with the Shields were. saying, I mean, they bottled it. I mean, they're so disorganized. I mean, it's. hopeless. Uh. >> it turns out it turns out they weren't. >> Yeah. A brilliant, spectacular task. All. of it. An excellent episode. Yes, a. brilliant episode. So, two episodes to.
go. I mean, it's we have to wait till. Thursday. There it is. We always do. >> I mean, it feels like a traitor's win, but but and by the way, a completely. different thing might happen. But, but. the rum is interesting. I should point. out always, always, always that we have. absolutely zero. We have kept ourselves. vacuum sealed from any information. >> Sure. You know, we've been wrong all the. way through about lots of different. things. We're predicting things and. we're doing exactly the same way that. you are is is that we're thinking what.
could happen, what might happen. Uh but. one thing's for sure, I can't wait to. find out. >> Nor can I see you guys next Thursday for. this, but we'll see you on Tuesday for. the normal show. >> Yeah, of course we will.
