[Music]. the following. program is a collection. of stooges talking about happenings in. the sports world. It is meant to be. comedic, informative. The opinions. expressed on this show do not. necessarily reflect the beliefs of their. peers, their boss or ESPN. There may be.
some cuss words because that's how. Cubans is the real world talk. If you. are a young, please seek permission. before watching any further. Hey, let's go. This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful. McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. The alltime leading tackler for. the Green Bay Packers. You. can't stop. Damn it. Your friend, tell a.
friend something nice could change their. life. Hello, beautiful people. and welcome to our humble abode. The. Thunderdome on this Superstar Wednesday, May 28th, 2025. This program begins. now. Sports are happening all around us. And let's just get right to it. You saw. the massive creature that is sitting on. the stage. They refused to say anything.
once the beat dropped, which is a okay. cuz I've heard he's a great teammate. We. shall see today. The toxic table was. here at Boston Conor and at Tai Schmidt. What a treat it is today to have what a. legend with us here on the Thunderdome. stage. Unbelievable treat. I mean, you're talking about turning just a. dreary Wednesday into arguably maybe the. greatest collective day of our lives. Superstar Wednesday. Of course, nine-year NFL vet Darius J. Butler is. sitting where normally one half of the. Hammer Don Cowboys AP Tone seats sits. And that's because we got a surprise. guest that flew in here to Indianapolis,
Indiana. Just shocked as soon as the. door flew open. We just felt this. presence. Wouldn't be a Superstar. Wednesday without the superstar. Superstar. Yeah, you're right. The. superstar of all superstars. your super. your favorite superstar's favorite. superstar. That's right, ladies and. gentlemen joining us. I I don't know all. the accolades. Okay, we did not write. him down. No, no, we did not. He's been. defense player of the year before. He's. MVP before. He uh the guy obviously is a. hero. He saved the city legitimately. Uh. raised over $40 million for the city of. Houston and didn't do it uh because, you.
know, he wanted the glitz and the. glamour. did it because he felt. obligated to do as such because he was. the representative of the city of. Houston for so damn long as he was the. first round draft pick for the Houston. Texans. They actually boot his ass out. of town. He gets drafted in the first. round of the Houston Texans. They say, "Who is this from Wisconsin? Get this. guy the hell off our team." What would. he end up doing? Well, he'd become the. greatest player in the franchise's. history. Yep. Become a man that was not. only phenomenal at tackling. quarterbacks. Oh, man. He's so good at.
it. 120 plus. Wow. Yeah, so many of. those future first Bot Hall of Famer. because of what he did on defensive. side, but let's not get twisted on the. offensive side too. He's catch a. touchdown and then on special teams cuz. he's so abnormally large. Okay, he was. given maximum effort which abnormal. amount of effort given at all times. Ladies and gentlemen, maybe the. superhero of the. superstars, JJ Waters here. Y thank you. I'm great. It's great to be.
here. This place is unbelievable. This. is This your first trip, huh? This is. really cool. Yeah, this place is. awesome. First, no. Yeah, it's his first. trip. He's been doing a show what, four. or five years now? Yeah. Yeah, I know. what it is. Four or five years. First. trip out here. He's also in the Midwest. Everyone's a Wisconsin is literally. stones throw. Yeah, you I think you can. actually skip I think you skip a rock to. it. Uh, so the fact that you came today. was a surprise. I want to let you know. positive. We are very happy you're here, aren't we? I feel it. I can feel it. I. appreciate that. I sense it. I can tell.
It's just such a You guys are so jacked. He's so excited. We are. When you walked. in here, we were super excited about it. The only one not jacked Tone Digs. because he can't share the stage with. one of his favorite players of all time. Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, let's head. over to Hammer. See JJ. Jesus. I'll get there. Mhm. AP. Tone over there. Love you, J. T. We had no idea this guy was coming. Just a nice little fresh surprise that. JJ Watt makes an appearance. And. obviously, it's a perfect time to have. him because there's a lot of NFL news. happening. And whenever we start talking.
about the Pittsburgh Steelers and their. situation, AP Ton, we will certainly. bring you in. Now, J, let's chitchat. about last night. Did you see what the. Indiana Pacers did to the New York. Knicks right here in Indianapolis, Indiana, game four of the Eastern. Conference Finals. Now, the Pacers are. up three to one. And uh I'll tell you, being in there, having a chance to sit. second row, but also courtside at the. same time, right alongside the Pacers. bench, promos, right? Yeah. Well, J, you always. like to bring up a little bit of heat. Just promo. Yeah, it was one promo. Did.
not know I was getting a microphone. Did. not know I was getting a microphone. Would like that to be known because uh. there was there was money paid for the. seats that we were sitting in. A lot of. them. A lot of it. Okay. Yours, not my. money was going to be my money. And then. it was uh somebody else said we could do. that. And I said, "Yeah, actually how. much it with how much it is, you could. certainly do that." So, I thought there. was a chance like, hey, just come enjoy. the game, do the thing. So, I'm watching. them do the shots around the arena of.
people. It's like, damn, there's a lot. of people here. A lot of ex pacers here. Great to see Danny Granger was back in. the building. Germaine O'Neal was back. in the building. Obviously, Mike, one of. the best jerseys of all time. If you. owned a Germaine O'Neal jersey back in. the day, that is that was Germaine. O'Neal was beloved in this. I mean, obviously big pop form. There was a lot. of superstars out. Everybody was. seemingly there. Last Jelly Roll was. there last night. I mean, Triple H, I. was obviously alongside 50 Cent was in a. building. So, they're showing all these. people and I'm like, "Okay, cool. Yeah, they're not expecting me uh, you know, to do anything, you know, cuz that is.
like that is a moment in there. You've. had to experience it obviously numerous. times. Debut, I think, probably has. experienced it at a Florida Panthers. game, which we will get to. They're. about to go and win this entire thing. again." But, yeah, I was like, "Cool, I. don't have to do it." Then fourth. quarter comes, guy with camera comes and. he goes, "Uh, hey, can we put you on the. thing?" What am I going to say? No. You. say no there. I say, "Sounds good, man. Sounds good." Cool guy, too. Good, good. vibes, good energy. He's carrying around. a camera all night. You do his thing. So. then the MC in there who I do know comes. over with the microphone and ears thing.
and he goes, he's standing next to me. and I go, "Are you interviewing me?" He. goes, "No, I'm giving you the. microphone." I'm like, "Oh, I'm kind of. promo here." Okay, so now we got about. 30 45 seconds. So I start looking. around. I see Spike Lee down there. literally covered up in like a babushka. I I don't know what it had like a thing. over there. I look down at him and I. look over to the right and it was so. cool to see Timothy Shalom there. First. of all, the way Timothy Shalamé has. become like as a child they have [ __ ]. from him as a kid with trying to meet a. Marmire and everything as a Knicks fan.
now becoming the face and also becoming. like the guy uh whenever it comes to. being a thespian and being an actor and. how he wants to do it and what he did at. college game day. Seeing him was sweet. like very cool. Ben Stiller, I grew up. watching Ben Stiller. He's out there for. the I mean it was just a cool moment but. it was very clear what I needed to do. you know what the assignment was as soon. as I saw because these guys are all. front row I mean they're a part of the. show they're getting things said to them. they're getting things said back so yeah. 30 45 seconds decided to come up with. something you know let's send these guys. out here how we going to get there.
didn't know sons of [ __ ] was. certainly not something that was on the. mind until I was in the middle of it. it's like hm feel like we got to bring a. little bit of a hammer here but would. like to let them all know mad respect. for coming out mad respect for the. amount of support they're showing the. New York Knicks and also all love. Timothy Shalomé knew uh certainly. because he's been inches away at the. college game day thing whenever I s and. then I you know yeah he he as I had the. mic I look over and he's got a [ __ ]. eatating grin on his face I'm like I. think he knows what's about to happen. here I don't think Ben Stiller knows and. Ben Stiller did not love it from from.
what I read from Ben. Stiller's okay. he said this would not happen would not. happen in New York okay okay wouldn't. happened in Madison Square Garden and uh. he said it was weird. You know, some. people were calling me classless in this. entire thing. It's like, hey, it was in. this wasn't on TV. Okay, this was I the. assignment was, hey, we blew the game in. the fourth quarter in game three. Okay, I knew that we got a lead right now. going in. Let's make sure we turn this.
[ __ ] up a little bit. Let's turn this. [ __ ] I get Coral going to he no sells. it. No look at all. But then yeah, I uh. I didn't even think about there being a. negative reaction, which once again is. how I find myself sometimes in a. situation where it's like, "Oh, that was. sweet. This whole place just went. bananas. Boys on the bench just went. crazy." Sat down next to my wife. She. was like, "Hey, that was a lot of fun.". Nick Han goes, "Okay." And then Triple H. goes, "Unbelievable. You're the best.". That was whatever. I'm like, "Thank you. Thank you." It was really cool. And then. obviously, you know, it goes how it goes. and that's how the world is. I just want.
to let everybody know, hey, the. assignment was to turn that some [ __ ]. upside down. And that's all it was. I do. apologize that some of them said uh some. of the aggregators cut it off before I. said, "Let's send them home with their. ears ringing." You know, they just said, "Let's send these sons of [ __ ] back. to New York." Like I was kicking them. out of town. I Well, it was a little bit. harder than what I was delivering. Works. today for sure. What I was delivering. was the ears ringing. Has anybody been. loud is what I was saying? Send these. sons of [ __ ] back to New York with.
their ears ringing. No, shut up. That's. literally what I was saying. So, it's. like I think it go aggregated a little. different when I'm saying send these. sons of [ __ ] out of our [ __ ]. shitty. I was not saying that. Has. anybody been handed the mic in the. fourth quarter of a playoff game before? Like a fan? That's unbelievable. Oh, thank you. I didn't even I didn't think. about that. And people like I don't know. if I've ever seen that like a legit. major game for Porter like they're like. yeah like like here we're gonna hand a.
mic to this guy and we have no clue what. he's going to say. Yeah. And he does not. know he's getting a microphone either. unless somebody else was told that I was. getting a mic and just didn't relay the. message out. And you legitimately had to. hype up those guys so much like it had. to be just So on that note on that note. James Johnson who needs to be talked. about more dog. dog. Absolute weapon. Does his job perfectly even when he's. not in the game. Does his job perfectly. He comes over, gives me a boom boom. Love that. Walks away. I'm like, got.
that guy on my side. That's good news. That's all you need. That's literally. all it turns out. Do you know who James. Johnson is? Yeah. Okay. So, he is the. enforcer for the Pacers, I believe, is. how I don't know if that's how everybody. views him, but that's how I was kind of. introduced to who he is. Hey, this guy's. been brought in here basically to make. sure Tyrese and the boys, you know, we. got a guy in here. Tan Hoop has played. multiple times during the playoffs, but. he is a black belt, I think, in Judah. I. don't know. He's he's a dog and he's. also 6'10, whatever the case is. Huge,
sweet look, sweet tats, sweet dreads, everything is he's sweet looking. Yeah, he's got a awesome grill. So, his job is. to protect the boys, I think. Right. I. thought that was just physically, but in. the NBA, because of how close everybody. sits on top of you, just like in the. NFL, I assume you've had fans yell at. you a lot about JJ Watt, you suck, whatever it is. There was a guy, three. Knicks fans front row right here. They. bought those tickets behind the Pacers. bench to do exactly what they were doing. at the beginning of the game. They were.
yelling at Tyrese. I mean, they were. giving it to Tyrese. This is over Triple. H's head cuz Triple H is sitting right. next to Tyrese. So, this is happening. over his head basically. And uh that. James Johnson guy as a timeout this. guy's getting after Tyrese he just looks. at him calls him a very strong word I. will say very very strong word to the. Knicks guy. Now the Knicks guy's. attention is completely off of Tyrese. and now it's talking to James and James. delivered a verbal assault of this man.
that was a first round knockout. Yeah. Stronger than Sons of [ __ ] Yeah. Much stronger. Much much stronger than. that. But old buddy uh instead of. yelling at Tyrese the rest of the game. he's yelling at James and I'm like this. guy literally just did his job better. jumped on the grenade. Bingo. Yeah. Because like Tyrese doesn't have to hear. it. Now granted Tyrese probably locked. in. He was locked in too. It was very. cool to watch Tyrese be that locked in. Also yelling on bench like that type. It. was cool to watch Tyrese like kind of.
cuz we were on their bench basically. It. was cool to watch Tyrese work. But. Tyrese didn't have to deal with these. guys. Great [ __ ] talkers. These guys. were these guys were very adamant good. [ __ ] talkers. Instead, their attention. goes right to James. It was a It was a. wonderful night. Wonderful night. I. mean, Tyrese, Wisconsin guy. I mean, come on. Let's give him his credit. Oh, yeah. Oshkosh, born and bred. Um, did. end up going to Iowa State. Would have. loved him to stay a Badger. Well, did. you guys offer him? No, they didn't. I've asked him the same thing. I know. I. mean, we've I know the Badgers didn't. think Tyrese Hallebertton could play. basketball for them. Crazy. Wow. I uh.
I'd like to go back and redo that. Like. they didn't offer you coming out of high. school, right? Uh they did not offer me. I was too small. Is there a Wisconsin. problem? Yeah. Wisconsin people have. problems with Wisconsin people? No. No, not What's up with your state? Not at. all. Okay, West Virginia. Let's calm it. down. Rich Rodriguez back. Let's calm it. down. Everybody Rich Rod's back, brother. I see your Iowa flags on the. floor. I see you kind of understand. what's happening over there. No, that's. Iowa wrestling. I see what's happening. JJ, how the Iowa.
Wisconsin game go this? Not good. Not. good. It's not good, man. I'll tell you. what, that one is the one that that one. hurts because that's like a direct. onetoone comparison. And to get the [ __ ]. kicked out of us there hurt um it's. coming back around. Okay. You're a. Wisconsin guy. You know Tyrese since. high school, I assume. Long time. I I. don't I didn't know him personally. You. know of him. You're a fan of his. obviously coming out state champ. Yeah. Cuz you had that log cabin, remember? You had in Wisconsin throughout the. years. Just had a little log cabin built. his Yeah. He just got a small studio. here. Yeah. No, I've never said I've.
never said the Thunderdome isn't I said. it was a log cabin. It was a log cabin. That's. true. I think it was a four season thing. was built on a log. Yeah, they put logs. on the outside of a Four Seasons. I. mean, when I saw it was a great gimmick. I saw his house. I'm like, it wasn't a. gimmick. I said I had a log cabin. I. lived in a cabin made out of logs. Yeah, it was a little bit large, but it was. still made out of logs. I didn't know. there was a size limit on cabins. I.
think it's the LED lights around the TV. in the log cabin. You know, just my. thoughts of what a log cabin is. You. know, you don't have the the Jordan shoe. rack. The wood burning stove. Yeah. You. don't have a pizza maker. I had a wood. burning stove. I had a wood burning. logs. Yeah. Uh, nonetheless, beautiful. home over there. Okay. And you followed. with Wisconsin. So, you knew Tyrie since. he was a high schooler. I have not known. him long enough, but I do know that he's. uh potentially a superstar. Well, I.
mean, probably probably take the. potential off. Well, there's debate. Not. everybody's for others. It's the small. market [ __ ] Yeah, agreed. That. legitimately is what it is, isn't it? No. doubt. So, they pulled up the definition. earlier and we thought that was a good. play. We figured we'd do the same thing. Let's hear what Marryiam Webster has to. say. And that's the authority. Yeah. Miam for a long time has been saying, "This is what a word is. This is what a. word isn't." Whatever you say. I've. actually had somebody tell me that. Mariam Webster a little lazy on a.
definition of a word before. One of the. greatest lines I've ever heard from. somebody. That's a lazy definition. I'm. saying you're calling Marryiam Webster. lazy. Kind of mailed it in. But that's. the authority that Marryiam Webster has. So, let's read the uh definition for a. superstar, shall we, JJ? Let's do it. One. Okay. This is the first one. This. first definition of a superstar. a star. parenthesy as in sports or the movies. Tomcs and baseball and parenthesis who. is considered extremely talented. Is.
Tyrese considered extremely talented? Let's go. Last night does something. nobody in the history has ever done. before. Got to a point where Tyrese. actually said during his uh postgame. press conference, he said, "I feel like. we're making up stats now to make me. look good." Uh but yeah, whenever you. have a triple double with 30 plus points. and no turnovers, people are going to. say, "Wait a minute, this guy's doing. something we've never seen before." He's. on very short lists of very great. players to do all the things that he's. doing basically every single night.
Biggest game of the year, Eastern. Conference Finals. Everybody on Earth. knows that whoever wins this game is. probably going to end up winning the. series. If the New York Knicks come into. Indiana and steal two after winning two. in the Garden, it's over. It's going to. be a New York Knicks series. The Knicks. are going to the finals in the biggest. game with Triple H there. Yeah. With his. pops back in the building. Bingo. with fifth. Exactly. Boy, Jelly Roll. Yeah. Mhm. Timothy Shalom. Ben S. He has.
his biggest night. Triple double. So, I'd say he's extremely talented. Let's. go back to that definition. Post, it. stop me if I'm wrong on any of this. JJ, you got a big ring. Has great public. appeal. Well, I guess in New York, probably not, right? Madison Square. Garden or Milwaukee. Yeah. But is there. anywhere other than those cities? Like. do do places exist other than those. cities? LA couple. Los Angeles. I guess. that is a place that exists. Boston. How. about Miami? Does our city exist or not? It does. Indianapolis would be. includ Sometimes people tend to forget.
So let's go to public appeal. Does this. is this guy liked Oh, let's go to one of. his game winners from this uh playoff. run. Series winner. Yeah, I'd say he has. some public appeal. Iran pan. Yeah, but. Indianapolis isn't anywhere near as big. as other cities are. Okay, so it's not a. public place anymore. It's not a public. forum. He has public appeal. That's. James Johnson hugging him, saying, "I. got you, dog. If anybody talks in the. front row, I'm going to say terrible. things to them and they're going to get. mad at me instead of being mad at you,
I'll keep them distracted." So, he has. public appeal, right, JJ? That would be. the second part of that. I agree. Now, let's go to the third one there. Uh, and. can usually command a high salary. That's a funny one. That's a funny one. to be included in. That's a superstar. It's true. It's kind of the Trey. Hendrickson conversation right now. Yeah. Which we will certainly get into. Average star not really paid. Sure. Superstar going to command high salary. Is Tyresese getting paid? Believe he's a. max player. Yeah. Oh, he's a max player. So, we're checking all the boxes of what. Mariam Webster says is a superstar, I.
would say. Yep. So, we just want to let. Tyrese know that our tiny little program. here in this tiny little city that does. not have racist WNBA fans. Uh, yeah, confirmed. That's what WNBA confirms. That's what they said. Wow, that's. crazy. That maybe would be good if it. makes it to the finals as opposed to. everybody saying it'd be terrible if. this team makes it to the NBA finals on. television. Okay. You don't think you're. creating a potential. we want war with you type narrative? If.
your team wins, it's terrible for the. entire league. Your fans are racist. Your guy is not a superstar. Your player. is overrated. It's like, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. We're hearing a. lot, but just know that Tyrese. Hallebertton, Pascal, Seakum, Nemhardt, N Smith, TJ McConnell, and the boys have. this city rally in this city ready. Last. night was a great indicator of it. And. Tyrese, you're our superstar. We're. appreciative of it. Love you, Tyrese. We're appreciative of it. I mean, New.
York, they're naming streets after every. single player on the roster in New York. City. I mean, that's that's a very large. city. They haven't won [ __ ] What do you. do here? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. In a. long time, this team has given him a lot. of hope. I will say watching Jaylen. Brunson live is outrageous. Very good. He's able to score whenever he wants. And it's like if he even gets an open. look, it's like back when Steph Curry. was doing his thing. If he just gets an. open look, it's like, oh, that's going. to fall. Like, it's not it's not like uh. he might miss this one. Especially when. he has that little mid-range [ __ ] he. does. Unbelievable. Three. If he has any.
room, it's going to fall. He. is great to watch in person. Very legit. Very Carl Anthony Towns. I think he's. getting a little tired. He had that. 20point fourth quarter in game three. He. obviously had some big plays last night. Watching the amount of running, I'm like. I How is he You're big. Big big man. Big. big I don't know how you keep up with it. to be honest. No, I don't I like. six-second plays. I'm I'm a big six guy. Oh, he's not retired yet. Joining us. now, ladies and gentlemen, is a man who. is retired. Played in the NBA for 13.
years. Yeah. He's been around, been. there, done that, has a great shot, says. he doesn't run much anymore. Mad. respect. Ladies and gentlemen, friend of. the program, co-host of the Knuckleheads. podcast, Quinton Richardson. Y, we just had to break down the. definition of superstar there just to. see what Mariam Webster's thoughts were. And uh, obviously, we're riding a high. with the Pacers getting a big win over. the New York Knicks last night. What are. your thoughts on the entire. conversation? This Pacers team is the. real deal, Q. This Pacers team is the. real deal. Watching them live last. night, that's a lot of running. I don't.
know how I guess OKC does the same. thing, but it's a lot of running fast. And as soon as the other teams score, as. soon as the Knicks score, their entire. bench is like ah ah it's like a uh it's. high tempo all the time. A lot of teams. do this. Is this a new thing? And what. are your thoughts on this Pacers team, Q? Man, I I I like what the Pacers are. doing, man. They they they're doing what. they supposed to do, man. and they they. seized the moment and now they got a. chance to go to the uh to the NBA. finals. As far as the as far as the. superstar uh conversation, man, I think.
I think if you ask Tyrese himself, we. get like as far as us in the media, we. getting too too big on labels. It it it. doesn't really matter when you look at. it. You said it. Tyrese getting a max. contract. He's balling. He's making he. he's he's been on the All-Star team. He. was been on the Olympic team. I think. the real thing you only desire from the. from a player standpoint, like you say, you got the money. Don't lie. We all. want the money. That's one of the top. first things. You want the money. He got. the max money. And then you want the.
respect from your peers. Like when you. get done, like the whole overrated. thing, that was a joke. That's a joke. Whatever. But I mean, you at the end of. the day, when you get through playing, I. think all athletes want to have the. respect of their peers cuz I mean media. that's going to come and go because some. people may like you, may not like you. But I'm talking about when you get down. in the trenches and they got to go and. hoop against you. I know he has to have. a respect to everybody that play against. him cuz look what he's doing. Like you. said, a 30point triple double, but with. zero turnovers and the high usage he.
has, how much he has the ball in his. hand, it's not like he's out here. playing it safe. He's doing all type of. stuff, no looks and everything else. So, what he's doing is incredible and I. think when he gets done, his his body of. work will speak for itself. Yeah, I. appreciate you saying that and I agree. And uh Tyrese, I think he he hears the. noise cuz he's young. So obviously he. has social media. He bans himself from. social media during the serieses though. I think that's a good play. I think. that's a good play. His dad will keep an. eye on things. You know, his his family.
will keep an eye on things. But like the. way he handles himself, the way he has. represented this city has been a. beautiful thing. He's what, 24? Uh yeah, 24, 25 or six, whatever he is. He's. still young. He's very very young. And. uh I think we're all incredibly pumped. for what the the future possibilities. are here in Indiana at OKC Indiana. I. don't want to look ahead. Obviously uh. we still have to win the series against. the New York Knicks. Winning in Madison. Square Garden would be bananas. Okay, that would be uh spectacular if that was. to take place. If they win another one,
hey, that's okay. We'll come back here. to Indiana, do our thing hopefully. And. I have nothing but respect for that. Knicks team. The way they've been able. to battle and play is insane. And Carl. Anthony, he's so big. Mhm. Carl Anthony. Towns is so big. Hugh Rich he is. I. don't think I expected how. like he's round. Yeah. He's a he and. he's they're running him. A lot of hand. gestures going on there. A lot of hand. lot of hand gestures going on there. Yeah. Well, that's what I'm saying. Driving the big guy.
What are you saying? I don't want to. call him fat cuz I don't think he's fat. I think it's But he is well built. He is. like a round like stocky. Stocky. That's. good. He's like a He's a stalky. gentleman. So, I'm very interested in. his girth that's going on. It's just a. lot of Well, I mean, those are your. words, JJ. You pig. Oh. my JJ. Yeah, but he's probably well hung. I. mean, come on. Yeah, I think he's good. at wait. We talked about who, right?
Yeah. Yeah. Whatever. From the rim. Yeah, he's very good. But what I'm. saying is what watching these guys live. and seeing them in person, you always. forget like watching on TV. You too, I. assume. How tall are you? 66. That's. what I'm saying. That's just like. standard. So whenever you see how big. Carl Anthony Towns was and how much he. was running, I'm like, how does anybody. keep up with this Pacers team for seven. games? It's like Pascal Seakum, obviously he's gigantic. He can run all.
day. I I think he can literally run all. day. Does OKC play that same style? And. how long has this been happening? How. long has this been a style that teams. play with? Man, I think since Golden. State was able to show that they could. win a championship, you know what I'm. saying, with the with the with the small. ball lineup that that was, you know, pretty much everybody tried to copy and. paste. So now you see a lot of fours. that like one through four, you got. smaller guys and then you got one big. guy out there. It's a lot of four out, one in or just flat out five out with. pick and roll being played. And these.
guys are, I mean, like you say, you. talking about Cat, he's used to this man. in in in Minnesota his whole career when. he was younger. He he's a guy who's. always gotten up and down the court well. and played on the outside and played. inside. So, I mean, he he he he's. equipped for this. And I mean, most of. these guys you look at like if you you. look at a guy like Rudy Goar who's. really like 74, whatever he is, the. Wimbees that 74, 75, like the league is. a strange place, man, cuz you say like. I'm 6'6 and I go out there and I do not. look big on the court. I look average. and regular size. And then it's a.
difference when you walk into the real. world. But when you in the gym and you. playing in the league and even in. college now, everybody's huge, man. These guys are tall, 7footer, 72, 611, 69, and it's like, man, like you look at. a guy like McDaniels, he's like 6'9 out. there on the court. He doesn't look like. it when he's out there running around. with those guys, moving to. I mean, it. is just it's gassers. There's running. gassers. I I uh that was my biggest. takeaway last night. other than the fact. that the arena was awesome, the Pacers. are great, Tyrese is a dog, Seakum's a.
dog, like everything about that. But. whenever you just think about the sport. that's being played in front of your. eyes, it's like they're so gigantic and. they're just running so I don't know how. you guys do it. 82 game season physical. Yeah. People are talking about, you. know, like taking a break and uh what. what they call it uh what load. management. Load management or whatever. It's like I I bet you if I was in a. league, which I never would be, but. let's say I was born 6'7 and I had an. absolute wet jumper. Yeah, just a wet.
jumper. They had me running a lot. If I. was given an opportunity probably, hey, do you want to take tonight off? I think. I would probably I think I would have. probably said yes to that because of and. and these dudes are so talented like. today's game like the right now at. present day is you could go from the top. to the bottom of the roster and it's. more guys that could do a little. everything that's got so much talent. than it's ever been in the history of. the game. Like when we like you know. earlier generations you had guys like a. Reggie Miller he was just he was a. shooter. He was a sniper. That's what.
he's going to be legendary for. Now you. got guys that's like Steph Curry that's. like the the He's the N1 ball handle. king. He's AI. He's he's Reggie Miller. He's a bunch of guys wrapped up in the. one. Same thing when you look at a guy. like Pascal Seiakum. He's like, you. know, he's a wing guy, but he's a post. guy. He doesn't miss mid-ranges. He'll. dunk on you. He rebounds. He defends. It's like these guys are so talented and. so gifted. And then like you said, 610, 611, Wimby, 75, playing like a guard. doing different things. the the level of.
talent and the abilities these these. guys have all in one player it it's. never been seen before how how many of. these guys can do so much stuff that. needs to be showcased more cuz on TV it. just looks normal you know like 66 just. looks like 5'11 whenever you watch on TV. and then whenever I go to a game I'm. like I forgot how [ __ ] gigantic cuz. they're walking right in front of me too. they're walking right in front of me. it's like holy [ __ ] I forgot that you. are one of one you want to say JR I have. a question for you obviously played 13.
years. You've seen the game transition. over time. As we talk about this, have. you seen the training, whether it's the. weight room, whether it's running, evolve over time? I know even in the. NFL, we're seeing obviously kids are in. these programs starting young. So, athletes are just getting bigger, stronger, and faster. Is the NBA. similar, or is that more about a skill. like shotm? No, it's it's all of one. The skills in the shot make I mean, it's. it's obvious like you we replicate what. we see. So now they've been able to see. all of these different things and. they're able to put it all together. But.
the training has absolutely gone. bonkers. Like these kids are getting. trained at such a high level at a young. age. That's why they're able to do so. many different things because they get. in the gym and they train train. The. difference between this generation and. our generation, we we didn't train. nearly as much. We went to parks, we. went to courts, open gyms, and we played. all day long. Played against each other. And that was like our work. That was. that was more of the work we did. We. tried different things. We figured. different things out. But now the the. skill level is so high because of the.
level of training they're getting. They're getting training. It's starting. at 6, seven years old on up. And they. they they training with they these guys. grow up and they say, "I got a guy. I. got a trainer that's been training me. for this this long and like they they. develop these skills and be when you're. going in the gym at a young age and. you're actually focused and honing in on. putting in work on different things, they got no choice but to get better.". And you seeing that out on the court. I. mean, obviously, you know, the coaches. and different things would rather some. things be honed in, but when you just. look at these guys individually and you.
look at the level of skill that they. have and the different things and the. tools they have, it's incredible, man. When you see so many guys that could do. so many different things when the. earlier generations, it was kind of. focused on this guy can do this, this. guy could do that, and now these guys is. putting all of this in their own tool. bag. I mean that goes into a much larger. conversation about the state of the game. and uh you know the skill of the game. verse the quality like all that. I mean. there's just like it happens in. football. It happens in every sport. Certainly happens in the NBA. It was an.
honor to watch everybody do their thing. last night. That was right in front of. me. That was early. Yeah, that was nice. to see. That was nice to see. And he has. such an abnormal shot. Yeah, that. thing's falling though. Oh yeah. And. then his free throws, too. The way he. shoots them, it's like it's falling. He's looking to assist every single. time. And then Ben Mathan got in uh in. relief of Tyrese. Tyresese got like. extended minutes of just chilling on the. sideline. And it was like you looked. over, he had a heat pack on his back, had a little heat pack on his legs. And.
it's like every minute they steal with. him on the bench, it's like good for the. long term whenever they go and run it. It's like uh I love what they're doing. over there. Now, let's go to the West, shall we? Debut. Go ahead. Sure. Big. game, big uh must-win game for the. Timberwolves coming up. Uh that one two. punch kind of been inconsistent. Ant-Man. last game, you know, didn't score a. bunch, didn't get enough shots in my. opinion, and then Julius Randle has been. very up and down when it comes to. putting the ball in the bucket. Uh, what. can they do there to get those two guys. going against. OKC? Um, obviously, man, I think I think. Ants Ants shot output kind of predicated.
is predicated on what everybody else is. doing. like when when if everybody else. isn't playing well and nobody's posing. any threats, that gives the OKC Thunder. more room to load up and to shadow him. and to to put more eyes on him. everywhere he's going. That's what he's. seeing when he's saying that he didn't. feel like he had a bad game because he. made the right plays because you got to. understand as the ball handler when you. come down or you come off a screen or. you going to make a drive and when you. look at the basket and look at the lane, you see three to four different sets of.
eyes and you see long arms in the lane. you see guys shading over different. things like that. That's trouble. You. don't just drive into that. So, to his. credit, it was he was making them better. uh the best plays, but he still as the. superstar of that team, as the guy, he. has to find a way with the way they're. playing them to get more shots up and to. be more productive for his team. As far. as Julius Randle goes, this was the. reason that I was nervous in this series. because I he he had been outstanding. throughout the end of the second half of. the season and going down the stretch in.
these playoffs. the first two season. series he was he was out of control. balling hooping for them and he needed. to stay at that level for them to have a. chance in this series and that hasn't. happened. So for me that was going to be. the difference in the series if he could. go and still be that guy averaging 24. around six and six they will be in a. different predicament cuz then Anthony. Edwards would have more room to do his. thing but with him not being able to do. that and being up and down and the other. players being inconsistent as well. they've been able to load up and give. Anthony Edwards all the problems in the. world. Hey, that's why depth is such a.
like important thing this time of year, right? Because if one of your superstars. isn't, you know, making everything like. they had been for a while, somebody else. could step up. That's just Pacers team. The Pacers team in a nutshell is like we. have different guys that will step up. every single night. Uh Tyrese is a. facilitator is going to make it all. happen. That's why he doesn't always. have the most amount of points cuz he's. running the offense. He's a coach on the. court. He's point guard obviously who. can also score obviously had 30 plus. last night. But it's like we have a. plethora of feels like Oklahoma City too.
deep, right? Is that is that the right. thing? And if you look at the Pacers, what did uh Sham say? Seventh or eighth. lowest payroll. I'd assume Oklahoma. City. I don't know what it is, but I. would assume similar not the big. markets. They they about to deliver a. whole bank, not the brink truck, a whole. bank about to be sitting at uh at Short. or something. You can believe he about. to get about close to 400 million. He. going to be you talking about paid. He. about it's I think it's I think the. number is like 379 380 or something to. be exact. But it's Yeah, they about not.
a drink Oklahoma. Could you imagine $380 million in. Oklahoma City? Holy [ __ ]. Jeez. Good for him. You could. probably for him. You remember Matt. Stafford got drafted number one overall? They give him 60 million or something. like that before he even stepped foot. into the NFL or Detroit. And I thought. to myself like 60 million at that point. in Detroit I think he could have bought. the whole city. Yeah, definitely. That. was that was right off after recession.
Yeah. Tough times in Detroit. I remember. he just sold it a couple years ago and I. saw pictures. It was a badass. Was it a. log cabin or No, it was much uh nicer. It was on a lake I believe. A beautiful. lake cabin. Don't fall into this QR. Don't fall into this. Don't. Um, okay. So, depth matters. Minnesota. might not have as much. OKC definitely. does. Uh, we the Pacers have a lot of. depth. Watching the Knicks, I think Tibs. played like 10 guys last night or. something like that. And on, uh, Sunday.
when they got a win, he played nine. guys. I think that matters a lot. But I. also think the person that's kind of. directing the traffic is very important. in basketball. I know in some sports, I. think we heard Biz talk about the. hockey, uh, where he said coaching, yeah, it's a lot of reactionary stuff. dump the puck, you react, how you do. that. Basketball, it feels like this. stage coaching very much matters. Go. ahead, Con man. Yeah, Q. Rich, it feels. like Rick Carile is kind of the elder. statesman of the coaches left. He became. uh top 10 in playoff wins last night. with that victory and with them possibly.
going to the finals in the OKC and. Timberwolves coaches being a little bit. younger than him. Feels like they have. that advantage. How important is that. for Rick Carile? And then kind of a. separate question as well. Uh Pat talked. about James Johnson, kind of the vibes. he brings to the Pacers bench and locker. room. How important is it to have that. vet kind of OG like James Johnson who. can kind of set the tone for everybody? And is that someone Rick Carile uses to. make sure his message is getting across.
in the locker room? Yeah, man. I I Rick. Carile has been a championship coach and. and a very good coach in this league for. a long time now. So, I'm I'm not. surprised by at all about by about by. about by about by about by about by. about by about by about by about by. about by about by about by what he the. job he's been able to do. He's been. coach of the year in this league. His. teams always have an identity and they, you know, they they represent what he. wants them to represent. And so, I'm not. surprised with the job he's doing at. all. He's been doing this his way for a. long time. And I think I think it does. work because he's uh he's very connected. with this Indiana team. He has extension.
from himself as far as Tyrese. Hallebertton who's a true point guard. who checks in and they they see out of. out the whole game. So, I think he's a. huge deal for them. As far as JJ, man, yeah, I'm a firm believer that the teams. need that that that guy that in the. locker room that's a a true veteran and. he's also a true enforcer. But, I mean, the thing about JJ is that you saying he. got thrown in the game the other day. He. he got right in there, scored some. buckets, and did his thing. He's not. just some physical intimidator or. enforcer out there. If you give him.
minutes, he can actually still play. And. I'm sure he proves that on a daily. basis, the whole season long in. practice. and he wouldn't have the voice. and the place he has on that team if he. wasn't that type of dude who's going to. go out there and practice. He's in the. struggle. He's he's in the fight with. him. He's going through the hard. rigorous all of the stuff they got to. do. So, he's boots on the ground, but. they all know at the same time that he. got hands and everybody know it and he. not somebody that you really want to. have problems with. He like a black belt. or something. Like he he known for being.
about that life. So, you know what I'm. saying? like everybody knows that and. you don't earn that reputation, you know. what I'm saying, without doing certain. things. And he's taking those steps. He's taking those fines and people know. and are aware of that. And so, you know, that that that that come with a little. badge when you when you do what you got. to do. He last night, the way he was able to. direct this fan's. attention. This fan, I don't know if you. heard me tell the story earlier or not, this fan front row, great [ __ ] talker, New York City [ __ ] talker. I mean, he. was right behind us, so I got to hear.
it. Great persistence, good tone, good. delivery, good empasis, get on the SL, good [ __ ] talker. Clearly was a good. [ __ ] talker at Tyrese. Boom, boom, boom. And then just James out of nowhere. Just. let me go ahead and take that attention. right here, buddy. And then that guy was. just talking [ __ ] down the bench to. James for the rest of the game. And it's. like now Tyrese doesn't have to deal. with this guy who's four feet behind him. for the rest. It's like even that little. thing I'm like genius. Like that is such. a good play. And then you talk about him. getting on the court. I think he still.
had Yeah, he still had his bracelet on. I think he had the bracelets on too. He. gets out there obviously does his thing. It's like to your point have to be good. at ball for anybody to respect you. That's that's number one in this entire. thing, especially in the NBA. For the. NFL, it's the same. If you bring a vet. into the locker room and uh and the guy. stinks, you know, the locker room is. probably not going to respect the guy. Even like, you know, they might like him. as a person, probably not gonna respect. the guy. Even if the coaches are trying. their best to make this guy be the.
veteran leader of the team, you know, giving game balls out and stuff to guys. Sure. You know, usually it's a. relationship with that player and that. coach. Yes. That comes together. Yeah. And it's kind of like half a. pressure game ball. Oh yeah, that. happened in our It was tough. It was. putting that guy in a bad spot. No. Well, it's put him in a horrible spot. Yeah. But he had to just walk out there. and say, "Yeah, here we go, boys.". But it was a.
situational sports are probably the same. way. The locker room knows immediately. No, you got to be genuine. Yeah. And. James does a lot of talking, too. He is. He is a chirper. Yeah. And when he went. in against the Cavs, uh we were kind of. reminded about it yesterday. He went in. against the Cavs and basically just set. a screen on Max Strus and just buried. him immediately. Yeah. Yeah, incredible. This Pacers teams might have it. All. right. Anyways, we will continue to. follow um this Eastern Conference Finals. and Western Conference Finals until.
inevitably it's Indiana versus Oklahoma. City, which is good for the NBA. certainly because we do. We think it's a. long series. Oh, yeah. If it's the other. teams. Oh, no. No. Everybody's talking. about business. business. Seven games probably better. than four or five. Was that a Last year. was five and it it stunk? Unless you. were Celtics. Yeah. So, I think I think. that's that's what we should be looking. for. Now, granted, good basketball is. good business. That's that's the good. business. Whoever's playing the good. basketball.
Bingo. Yes. That is that is that is. sports. That is sports. Now granted, I. could see how New York involved in. anything is good for ratings because. there's so many people, so many people. over there. That is certainly a valid. conversation, but like six, seven games. a lot better than four or five games. If. we're just talking business, business, business, business all the time, which. is what everybody seems to be, it's not. bad business if the Indiana Pacers are. in this. It's like what if they're the. best team? It's bad business for the. best team to be in the finals. That. seems like a dumb thing. Nonetheless, we'll continue to fall. This off season.
though, Q is about to be a term that. we've we we've never heard. Go ahead, Ty. Yeah, Q. We had Shams on the show. yesterday and he said, I quote, "This. might be the most craziest off season. ever." His words, not ours. Correct. Now, when you take that into account, do. you agree with that? Do you think we're. going to see a bunch of players changing. teams? That kind of changes like the. dynamic of the NBA as a whole? Obviously, some of these teams like the. Pacers and the Thunder probably aren't. going to look a whole lot different, but.
there is, you know, a possibility that. KD's on a new team and Giannis is on a. new team and all these different. superstars. Do you think that's going to. happen this season? Are we going to see. a lot of household names uh change. teams? Um, I don't know about how many, but I do know normally when you have. that type of seismic activity with a. Giannis or KD potentially moving, there's always moves made after that. So, I mean, you know, when those type of. names are looming going into the summer, you can expect that this is like going. to be a big summer. I mean, Shams is.
paid to know way more than I do. So, maybe he knows some other things that. might be on the brink of happening that. I don't know. But, uh, yeah. I mean, I'm. excited for it, man. I'm super excited. to just see and watch everything that's. going to happen and see how things. unfold and and how it play out cuz I. mean, I I definitely think when you got. when it's potentially a KD and a Giannis. moving, it's no telling what else could. happen. and on the heels of a of a of a. KD I mean a AD for Luca trade. So, you. know, right now it's anything could. happen. Any everybody's still trying to.
jockey and position themselves after. that Luca and AD trade. So, I I I. definitely believe it's going to be some. stuff going on this summer. You're great. for basketball, Q, Rich. We appreciate. the hell out of you, man. Enjoy your. day. All right, fellas. Appreciate. y'all. Hey, Pacers in uh five or how's. this thing go? H I don't know, man. I think I. definitely think they going New York. going to throw the kitchen sink at them. I don't think they just going to lay. down. I think they could get this one in. the garden and then I think Indiana.
comes back and does it thing. I don't. think it goes past game six cuz if it. goes past game six, the Knicks going to. win. Yeah, we know. Yeah. Or let's take. it easy. I don't think it's going to go. down like I listen right now. You about. to get the kitchen sink from the Knicks. in the garden and then when they come. back the Pacers got to throw a kitchen. sink at them and try and put them down. Yeah, I don't think I helped the entire. situation over there. M square guard I. don't think either. Ladies and gentlemen, Quinn Richard say. thanks. What' you say there JJ? I thought you. were talking about the next series. I. thought you were talking about No, no, no. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on.
What are you doing? We don't look. towards the future. There's a lot of. looking towards the future. There is a. lot of looking towards the future, especially in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So, let's talk about it. What do you know, Jage? Who's going to. be the quarterback of the Pittsburgh. Steelers? I mean, I don't I don't have. any inside information. I would assume. the same as everybody else. It'll most. likely be Aaron Rogers. Your uh head is. six. Hey, just kicked that earpiece out. of your left ear there. Said see you. later. You think Aaron Rogers is going. to be the quarterback? Are you hearing. anything from the inside sources? No, I'm not. I'm literally not, but I would. assume that seems to be the way that all.
directions are pointing. Let's go to one. half of the Hammer Don Cowboys currently. residing in Hammer Don AP Tone. Tone, any uh Pittsburgh Steelers insider. questions for JJ Wat cuz he certainly. has information. This is going to be. like an AJ Hawk type scenario, but let's. see how he dances. Yeah, I almost regret. regret asking this because it has been. so quiet and I don't want people to talk. about it, but there is still the uh the. contract looming out there. J has got or. sorry, TJ has got one year left on his. contract. Is there uh is there any.
update on that situation? Uh you don't. need to regret anything. It's okay. All. right. Um I made a mistake. I I mean. it's it's a television show. It's fine. You guys coming off the bench here. I. haven't talked in 30 minutes. You know. you going to keep Sorry. Um, oh, good segment. Good segment. Uh, oh, wait, wait, whoa. Well, he regretted. something. Uh, no. Uh, I do. I mean, I. have I have a lot of information on that. subject. I just I I'm That's not my. subject to discuss. Okay. So, you are.
JJ, not TJ. So, you don't feel like you. should be the one speaking on TJ's. situation with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Let's talk about defensive ends and uh. quarterback tacklers as a whole, then. Okay. because TJ's probably seeing the. same thing. We won't make you say it. We. will say the things that we assume TJ. has seen in the situation that TJ is. currently in. TJ obviously, I think. going into the last year of his. contract, um, very much below what the. current market is, especially for the.
best pass rushers in all of football. Miles Garrett just cracked open, okay, a. vault in Cleveland. Now, this is a. Cleveland move to pay top money, maybe. over money for their pillar players. if. they think they're a pillar player or. know they're a pillar player. This has. been Hasslam's move. $40 million for. Miles Garrett. Now, we know you probably. wouldn't have retired if you knew that. $40 million a year was possible uh for. the defensive end position. So, I will. speak to that for you, but everybody. else that got paid this off season, huge.
numbers. Te down there towards the. bottom of the money, let alone the. guaranteed money left on contracts. Trey. Hendrickson down there at the bottom as. well. Trey Hendrickson's story is much. louder than TJ's story because Trey. Hendrickson has come out and said like, "Hey, you've kicked can down the road. three years now basically with me. Either pay me or trade me is kind of his. messaging at Super Bowl." Since then, there's still been no conversation. Ownership of the Bengals said sometimes. some of these players just need to be. happy with what they got. And Trey. Henderson is just what are we talking. about? Excuse me. Well, I'm literally.
the sacking. So whenever you see this. market happening and then obviously you. have family involved in this type of. situation is brewing and then you see. what's happening with Trey Hendrickson, a man who I assume you know and get. along with. Well, what are your thoughts. on it and how do you think it all ends. up kind of settling out? I've long been. been a big believer that ownership and. front offices obviously treat this like. a business, but they do not like it when. the players flip the script on them and. treat it like a business. back. Taking care of your guys earlier. does a few things for you. Number one,
it gets them locked in at a lower price. in the long run. I mean, you look at. what prices are doing every single year. You get them locked in at a lower price. Number two, you're keeping them happy. because even now, let's say, look at. Trey Hendrickson's situation. Let's say. they pay him now. Now, there's all this. resentment. There's all this animosity. And yeah, $40 million or whatever it is. cures a whole lot of that. and he's. going to act like everything is great. and everything is wonderful, but you. just went through a whole bunch of time. where there was some disrespect, where. there's some hurt feelings, and now. you're going to go back into a building,
act like everything's okay. If you take. care of things early, especially when. players want to take care of things. earlier, and say that they'll take less. money to take care of things earlier. because it sets themselves up long term. financially, do that. Because if you. don't do that, that's when the problems. start to arise. And now all of a sudden. you say, "Hey, we have to kick this can. down the road because of the way. everything's working out." You kick the. can down the road, the can gets a whole. lot bigger. And then the player says, "Well, the can's a lot bigger now. Fill. it up." And you don't want to fill it up. because you say, "Well, we have to pay.
all these other guys. We have to take. care of these other things." It's like, "Well, I wanted to fill the can way back. down here when it was a little soup can. Now we got ourselves a garbage pail.". Hey, that's on you. Hey, and that's on. uh the situation, the amount of risk, you know, involved in it all. Because if. you're willing to take less earlier, there's a reason you're willing to take. less because it's setting you up for. comfort. There's something else coming. alongside of it. But if you're going to. make me take the risk of playing this. entire thing, potentially ending my. career, potentially getting an injury, potentially whatever the case is, and. then that means the other thing, then.
the comfort has been very low. So, there. is a fee for the comfort here. That how. business that is literally how business. goes. Exactly. And we've seen Trey say. it publicly. The team says that they're. going to talk to you early in the year. We're going to get this thing done. we. just just let us get through this season. and then we'll make sure we take care of. it early. And then you come early in the. offseason and you say, "Hey, let's take. care of this. We said we were going to. do this early. You said we was going to. be all of a sudden it's crickets. All of. a sudden it's silence or it's, hey, we. have to get through the combine. Hey, we. have to get through free agency." It's. like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa." We talked. about last year, you said if we kicked.
the can down the road, we were going to. take care of it. We're not taking care. of it. Yeah. The resentment's a real. deal. That's just like Miles Garrett. Everybody was like, "Miles Garrett said. all those things about wanting to win. and not just being a highly paid player. or whatever." And then they're like, "Well, 40 million can make up for it.". It's like, "It can." You know, I think. obviously 40 million having satin sheets. in a massive log cabin probably over. there in Cleveland can certainly help. out, but inevitably he's going to have. to lay his head down at night whenever. things aren't going well and be like, "Was this the right decision?" You know, we saw Tyreek down in Miami. Tyreek. takes a massive payday from the Miami.
Dolphins as opposed to potentially less. money in Kansas City. Tyreek certainly. worthy of the money. I'm not saying he. wasn't, but there came a point now where. he's like, I would like to win some. games and get back in meaningful. football. So, there's always a fine. balance in your decision-m. But anytime. people sacrifice comfort and make people. risk, there's going to be a fee that. comes alongside of that. That's why what. the Philadelphia Eagles did with Saquon. Saquon Barkley this year, they just. reuped him out of nowhere. That came out. of nowhere for us. We got a text. literally like, "Hey, Saquon might be. getting a new deal." And I'm like, "Saquin, didn't he have like two years,
three years left on his deal?" They're. like, "Yeah, they just want to kind of. compensate him for what he did for the. team early and let them know." It's like. you tell the whole locker room like, "Hey, if you do the right [ __ ] here and. you perform for us, we're going to pay. you." You have Seaquan locked in now for. 3 years, whatever, happy that he got. paid big in the long run. And then you. you also give a message to your fan base. like, "Hey, we we invest in the people. that do good [ __ ] here. It's like such a. good thing to do." It's also a. conversation that we've seen start to. bubble up a little bit about cashri. ownership versus cash poor ownership and.
who has the ability to pay big money. upfront and lay it out over void years. on the back end versus other owners who. can't afford to put that money in escrow. at the moment right now. That's a. conversation I know that they're seeing. at the league level that they're trying. to start to find a solution to because. there's teams and there's ownership that. has the ability to do some incredible. things from a contract standpoint that. other teams literally can't do. you you. hit the nail on the head, too. Like, it's bigger than just that player. That. message to the locker room. Like, that's. a big deal, especially for a guy like. Trey Hendendrickson who has been.
everything not only on the field, but. off the field as far as character. He's. done everything right. You talked about. Saquon. Buffalo did it with Josh Allen. giving him a brand new deal with I think. three year two or three years left on. his deal. And it just says, hey, you do. the right things. We're going to take. care of you. Continue to do it and. you'll fall in line. Philly, not only. Seaquin, they signed AJ, Devonte, uh I. think Mada Johnson got a new deal. Zack. Bond got rewarded for his year. So like, hey, you show to JJ's point, take care. of it early. Two years down the line,
it's going to be a completely different. ball game. Perfect point. You're sending. a message to the locker room. If you. handle your business, if you do your. job, we will take care of you. I look at. the Texans with Nico Collins. His deal. right now looks like one of the best. deals in football because they took care. of him early. He played well. They saw. what he was doing. They took care of him. early. Now they take care of Derek. Stingley early. Next year they're going. to have to worry about CJ Strad and Will. Anderson. They'll take care of them. It's just one of those things where if. you show the locker room, do things the. right way, we'll pay you. All of a. sudden, your culture handles itself. because every nobody's nobody in the.
locker room's in a corner talking about, I wonder if they're going to pay him, or. they not going to pay him. Everybody's. just like, "Oh, wow. This place treats. us good. We should treat them good in. return." What is the big issue trying to. deem who's worthy of being a pillar. person? Cuz you're you're paying your. pillars. Because whenever you lock into. those big deals, it's like, hey, we got. to now we got to manage this contract. over the next four years. Even if it's. less than what it would have been in two. years from now, it's still a big. contract that we just gave to somebody. two to three years ahead of schedule, you know, because everything operates on. schedules. This is where we think the. salary cap's going to be. This is where. we are. This is where we're going to be.
This is what the contracts are. So, just. picking the right people, I guess, is. the fear is what they say. Why do why. don't Yeah. I mean, the fear is. obviously that it's whether it's injury, whether it's play decreasing, whether. it's off the- field issues or you give a. guy money and all of a sudden he stops. working as hard or whatever it may be. Oh, fat pockets. Like it might be those, but again, we're paying these guys no. matter what. Like like guys are getting. paid across this league, whether it's. with your team, whether it's someone. else. At some point, you're paying the. Piper. You can point to a a handful of. deals that didn't work out obviously.
where the guy got big money and he had I. mean Albert Hayes, the one that always. goes back to, but No, it doesn't. anymore. Goes back to one guy. What was. that? Now it goes back to one guy. He. plays quarterback. Yeah, you know him. He did play quarterback. Very good at. one point in the land when you were. playing. Yeah. When you were playing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That'll that'll. be considered the deal that no can't do. 230 of them. That's the thing though. You got to not only pay for what that. player has done, but what you project. them to do. So that's why when you get.
players, especially once you start. getting around that 30 mark, a lot of. these people who just crunch numbers and. they not not necessarily know ball or. know your work ethic or know your off. seasonason, how you train, all these. different things, they make those. decisions like, "Hey, he's at this. point. Let somebody else pay him or. overpay him and you got to be in a. position where you got to and if you're. wrong, which it it does happen, you. know, you're going to be as gonna be. there to cash." Well, and even like the. message to your own locker room, but. like also a message to the league. Like. if you're a free agent and you're. deciding between Philadelphia and.
Cincinnati and you're thinking about, hey, which team is going to reward me. when I go there and play super well? You're not going to think the Cincinnati. Bengals because of what has happened. And even for like AJ Brown, AJ Brown. gets traded to Philly, they pay him a. bunch of money and then they give him an. extension. Devonte Smith, they pay. before like all those, you know, top. teams that are competing, Chiefs, Eagles, Lions, like those three teams. pay guys before damn near anybody else. Yeah. And they're doing well. You know, it feels like you can get into a rhythm. They paid Patrick Mahomes massive deal.
early. They can play with that contract. now. Travis Kelce has got another deal. It's like all the teams that are good. are seemingly ahead of schedule. They. kind of know what's going on. They can. forecast what's going to happen. All the. people that are just trying to kind of. hang on. Seems like it doesn't always. work out. Quarterback. Yeah, you got to. have a quarterback. Yeah, that's it all. starts there. But like I mean we're. looking at the Bengals right now with. the situations that they're in. Like. they missed the playoffs. Like you have. one of the best quarterbacks in the. entire NFL. That's the gold ticket. That's the golden goose. That's the. asset that you need to make everything. else fall into place. They just weren't.
able to make everything else fall into. places yet. Do you have any questions. for JJ Watt? All you got to do is head. over to X and use the hashtag askj. Yeah. # askjage and that actual picture. of JJ Watt uh will be a part of. answering your question. Now, if you. make it good, there's a better chance. it's going to make the program. Shitty. questions don't get asked, but there's. no such thing as a bad question. There. are certainly dumb ones, though. Certainly, and uh you should know that. J, in your opinion, uh, with the Trey.
Hendrickson situation, I don't think he. really is like this as a person, but do. you think it would service him a little. bit better if he was maybe like a little. bit more of a prick because he's been so. amicable the whole time? I I said it a. couple weeks ago, like it's kind of the. baseball squeaks Galari situation where. he basically said like, "Hey, listen. If. you guys rip on me 16 or 17 more times, like I'm out of here. I'm done doing. this." Like, and again, he's a. god-fearing man. We've had him on. like. it doesn't seem like that's really his. MMO, but you think that's part of it.
too, the ownership's like, well, like we. can kind of push this guy around because. everything we've done like he's kind of. been okay with it. His stance hasn't. changed at all. I mean, you also have to. look at it a little bit like the Tyrese. Hallebran situation, small market. He's. been playing phenomenal football for. years. I mean, led the league in sacks. and those things, but he doesn't have. the national star power that some of. these other guys have from bigger. markets, bigger cities, or more. talkative, boisterous personalities, things like that. So then, yeah, like. you said, it almost puts you back in.
that little box where the guy ownership. can say, "Well, he's not going to make. us think about it. Why wouldn't we keep. doing that?" I think that's probably. part of the reason that he's been. talking as much as he has lately and. trying to lay it out. It's such a hard. spot as a player because I I fully. understand fans are sitting there like, "You're complaining when they're. offering you $25 million. You're. complaining when they're offering you. $30 million. How could you ever complain. about that?" Crazier. We understand. Like, yes, it's insane. This is all nut, but it's business and that's how this. whole thing works. So, Trey wants to sit.
there and he wants to lay everything out. for the fans. He wants to say, "This is. exactly what they told me that they. would do and they have now not followed. through with that. So, what do you. expect me to do? I'm coming here just to. let you know what I'm going through so. you don't think I'm some selfish bastard. trying to get my money. Like I'm just. trying to follow through with what they. told me they would do. Mhm. But then you. go out and say that and now people are. like look at this guy. Look at this guy. This piece of tough guy this guy. You're. lucky to play football for the Bengals. And we also don't I would love to play. football for the Bengals. We don't want. our guys to give cookie cutter answers.
We don't want our guys to just give the. standard press conference lines. But. when they do go up there and they tell. you exactly what's going on and they say. exactly what's happening behind the. scenes, all of a sudden we don't like. what we hear and this guy's a jerk and. he's telling distraction. I don't like. his negative attitude. They're not going. to win with that. So I hear it. I I. understand it. It's frustrating, man. Yeah. You were a man that was a hero in. a city and then inevitably had to head. to another team. I couldn't even imagine. what that was like for you obviously. moving from Houston over there to. Phoenix. Obviously your golf game got.
better over there in Arizona. Saw you. playing with those hockey sticks. Hour. two will be on the other side. We'll be. joined by many. Nobody will be as big as. JJ Watt. [Music]. Hi, how's it going? Yeah, we're going to do. that in the summer when there's nothing. Yeah, just baseball. When did you think. it was going to be? You thought it was. going to be during the playoffs, NBA and. NHL playoffs? Oh, definitely not when. the Pacers aren't in it. Of course. Thank you. That's what we're talking. about. You're kind of coming back around. on this whole thing, right? Yeah, a. little bit here and there. You squatting. still? You getting under the bar? Yep. You did yesterday, but did both. yesterday? Yesterday was a good day. How. much did you squat yesterday?
465 for three. Just a couple maintenance. cents. Do you have one of those like. super padded bars? I mean, come on. Okay. What is this? What is this? Fifth. grade. That's what Witworth does. Are. you old school? Oh, you're talking about. these guys with the safety. Yeah, it's. great stuff. Great. Thought we were. getting I thought we were getting. guys are still pulling white on her. back. Just distributed a little. differently. I can put 700 on that. today. Bet. You think you're really good? I. mean, I score. Yeah. the the safety bar.
with the handles. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Se. What would you do now with a metal bar? You did 465 for three. I don't know what. the math is. 600. I I could probably. like comfortably if I was saying what I. could I'd probably say 5505 525. Just walking around as a human. Comfortably. He's just he's just a dad. and a husband right now. That's right. And a TV person. Yeah. I can squat I can. squat 500 lb if I actually I'm going to. do that right now. I was at I was at a. gym yesterday. It was a public gym and. uh I needed You can't be doing that. Yeah, it's okay. It was quiet. It's.
middle of the day. You got to know your. times. But I was asking for a spot and. cuz I needed it on my top set and this. guy came over and spotted me. And after. the set, he goes, "Hey, I just want to. let you know I was your brother's stunt. double on the old El Paso commercials. You guys were awesome. It was a lot of. fun." Pretty cool. Where was this? This. is in Wisconsin. Yeah, it was in. Wisconsin. It was just at a local gym. I. love that they casted it. Hey, we need a. stunt double. We need it to be a basic. bland looking white. Need to go to. Wisconsin to find another Watt looking. lad. Um, they all know it's you. obviously and immediately afterwards. they say, "Of course you're squatting.
465 pounds on a Tuesday in the offseason. as a retired football player. Is that. what they say to you?" It's uh they. there's looks I mean there's literally. four people in there. Like you got to. know your times. I can't go in there at. 9:00 a.m. I can't go in there at 5:00. p.m. But noon to 3 is a good good window. for me. Although I'm screwed now, I. guess. Yeah. Who runs the office? All. right. Now, where is this? Yeah. Who. runs the office? This is great. No, I. don't. No, nobody. I don't do music. Uh. people have their AirPods in but I don't. I don't I don't do music. Does the gym. do music? Uh you're rock 465 for three.
on your back. Now that I think about. they do have like something soft. playing. It's not like a It's not like a. you know yacht. rocker love raw dog in it. Straight raw. Yeah. It's I could probably get a couple. more pounds if I put on some good music. Yeah. Walk a flocka was down in Tampa. Bay the other night. Stole the show. I. heard he was coming. heard he was coming. and I just did a walk of flocka's. greatest hits on the bus beforehand. Turn that up. Yeah. Are you kidding me? The world needs a walk of flocka back in. this world. He every song you knew what.
you're getting. When you talk about. somebody knowing who they are and. knowing what's coming whenever his name. was attached to it. It's like if Waka. Flocka is on a song Titus O'Neal. Yeah. He's on a dating show. 21 women. Him, Carlos Boozer and Tyson Beckford living. in a house. Dating show. It's coming on Bravo. Yeah, he because. he's like the mayor of uh Tampa. Like. legitimately knows everybody down there. Obviously legend in the WWE. Also Q dog. has the entire arena barking alongside. of him every single night that he is. Uh.
mentioned, yeah, he shows up, looks. unbelievable. I'm like, geez, Ty, he. looks so good. He goes, Doug, you know. I'm sticking with her or whatever. And. I'm like, uh, he said, I think you're. promoting a show tonight. And I was. like, oh, what's your show? I had no. idea what it was. And he said, dating. show, Bravo. 21 women. Three guys, 21. women, all living in the same house. Yeah, that sounds a little less like a. dating show. A little more something. else going on there. Look at this crew. I don't know how he's going to catch. footballs, that guy. I do. You think.
he's going to do a great job? I think. so, too. It's off season. He's. refreshing the mind. Let people be who. they are. That's nine NFL vet Darius Jay. Butler right there. Good luck, Titus. Boozer and Beckford on final win. He'll. be on Braville. I think he what? Hope. hopefully they win. I think they Oh, in. finding love. Yeah, that's Talks Table. Lovers of love. How do they lose? Uh at. Boss Connor at Tai Schmidt. I think in. those reality shows you can lose a. doubt. But clap maybe a couple. I think. you can you can certainly lose. There's. a few ways to lose in that. Mhm. Yeah. I.
I wonder if it's going to be full on a. lot of ways to win. Yeah. A lot of ways. to lose. I wonder if they're going to be. flipping tables and stuff. They'll be. flipping something. Were you so you were. a I don't know how this is going to. transition this way. I don't know what's. Were you ever asked to be like the. batch? I don't know your question. No, it is a good question. No, I was not. because there for a while you were the. [ __ ] of the walk. Remember he was on. everything. Yep. You were on uh you were. on everything. You're correct. You've. actually talked about this with other.
people getting offered so much money to. do such little work. You feel obligated. to say yes to it and then all of a. sudden 6 months later when everything. comes out, everybody's saying, "This. guy's I'm sick of this guy." It's like, well, I didn't know this was all going. to be at the same time and the amount of. money I was getting paid to do. No, no. work. I had to say yes. So, you've. actually talked about that being a part. of your life, but that was a part of. your life. You were you offered movies? Were you offered any reality shows? Were. you offered any of those things? Yeah. Yeah. A little bit of little bit of. everything in New Girl. Yeah, New Girl. Loved it. It was great. Um, yeah, a. little bit of all that stuff, but like. you said, it's uh to it was more about.
finding your way. I had to go through it. all. I had to find my way. I had to. understand. I had to go through a lot of. hate and [ __ ] I got to look back at. things and I that I would do much. differently if I could do them again. Um, but that's part of figuring it out. And that's everybody that goes through. it, you're fortunate enough to have to. figure it out because you got to and I'm. sure you've had very similar things as. you go through this entire thing. Oh. yes. Yeah. Yeah. The only way you learn. is to go through it and then you you you. either quit or you just keep going. It. still gets hard. I mean till still today. somebody will slap an offer down in.
front of you and you'll be like man. that's a shitload of I mean I've turned. down like there turned down very very. very significant amounts of money. because I I just talking about tens of. millions u multi multiple millions for. certain things that I I just I couldn't. do it couldn't couldn't agree I bet J. right there growth that is growth that's. all you're looking for it is very. difficult to I've never been on the JJ. Watt level of things obviously but. somebody will put something in front of. you I mean it happened during co a lot. Yeah. Hey, here's a [ __ ] coin. Here's.
$2 million. Basically, you what what do. I have to do? You just got to basically. promote it for a couple months or. whatever. Don't worry about it. It's not. real. Yeah. No, they never said that. They said, "We'll handle everything. else." Basically, here's $2 million. And. I'm looking around like a lot of people. are doing it. I'm like, "This seems too. The PMP loan." Yeah. The PPP loan, Triple P loan. Yeah. PPP loan. This. seems too We start to get in that. pharmaceutical world. There's a lot A. lot going on there. Whoa. Oh, I know. what you're talking about. All of a. sudden, how do you meet? No, you know.
you talking about Billy Gardell. Listen, Billy Gardell changed the law a. lot. Hit me up big. What up? That's a guy looking for an easy. paycheck. Joining us now live from. Manatakin, Ohio. He's a college football. national champion, a Super Bowl. champion, a man that used to say click. clack. Yeah. It's great to see. him. Bick back. Yeah, ladies and. gentlemen, Edihawk. Yeah,
Hawk Tone saying, "Hey, listen, Ompic, you want to show a guy transforming? I'll be your uh I'll be your. huckleberry." Huckleberry. There it is. Uh I didn't think uh I didn't think it. was epic like initially when Jade said. he turned down millions to do something. with the pharmaceutical either. That. wasn't my first guess. Yeah, I don't. think I think we all know what it was. Yeah, I think we all know what it J and. I are getting the same offers. AJ, I was. playing to my my strengths. Okay. He. said, "Hey, I'm a kind of frumpy looking.
guy on TV. Billy Gardell, a little bit. bigger than me. Same city, same town, same accent." Certainly. I'm I'm trying. to figure out if I can actually say what. it was or not. We know what it was. We. all know what. it was. New Genics. No, that's not what. it was. We all know what it was. If it. was New Genics and you turned that down, you in the big hurt. Yeah. Frank said, "I'll take that off JJ." What is it? Come on, man. No, I don't. No one's. What's it What's it rhyme with, Jage? We. can always just dump it, too. Yeah, we. we'll dump it. Yeah, we'll dump it.
I don't think it rhymes with aids. No, rhymes with barf. Huh? Barf fan. Barfan. That's I mean, you can get it from that. Narcan. Yeah. Oh, you're trying to save. people from overdoses. I think that. would have been okay. It was a It was a. back and forth. It was a back Yeah. Like. it was like a Yeah, there's a hefty back. and forth where you're like when else. like you kind of feel bad taking the. money I assume too. Like there's Yeah, you're you're taking money because. people are over like I I mean this that. would have been a very I might be we.
just did a good commercial for Nans. Yeah, you're welcome. Send the $3. million. No, but it is weird cuz you feel weird. taking the money. Yeah. Like I'm like I. don't understand it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I understand. I understand. completely. Man, you are a fool. What? But like those, you know, that. would be a tough thing. That's why Yeah. Like you have to have those. conversations with yourself. That's more. like an initiative as opposed to like a. a paid promotion. Yeah. I don't know. It. was they're going to see something. worse. I thought it was they're going to.
overdose whether they whether you do it. or not, J, they're still going to. overdose. True. Yeah. But if you give. them a solution for the overdose, maybe. there's more overdoses because now you. have an answer. I think they know that. solution is there already. Well, and you. got to help. Why you getting a. commercial then? That has Why do a. commercial 3 million bucks? Yeah, that is what Listen, now I'm. pissed cuz now I'm down 3 million and we. already talked about it. This is. [ __ ] Hey, good news. Send it. Send. it. I will accept it now. Burnley's.
backup. Guys got real quiet when we started. dominating the whole world. Well, you. think we paid attention. We did not know we got quiet. Just let. you know that. to be clear, found out. you got up uh today. Yeah. Congratulations to all the team. We're. very happy for you. So, you guys are. back in the Premier League. Yeah, it's. literally one of the greatest seasons of. all time. Our guys are incredible. 100. points. Um only gave up, I think, 14. goals the entire season in all time. Unbelievable. And we talk about. financial stuff, you know, uh coming and.
going. This is good news. You guys are. back in the Premier uh league, right? As. an owner of an English soccer team. Yes. Um, obviously extremely expensive to try. and stay up and try and do everything, but yes, being in the Premier League is. Do we have a chance in a Premier League. or are we going to are we going to do. this dance? No, they're bringing in. You. should hear the plan. You got Cristiano. Ronaldo coming to the team. Uh, I don't. think so. Um, but I do like to keep our. transfer plans under wraps. So, you. never know. How about Messi? Again, again, I mean, coming to the end of that.
Miami run, you just never know. Well, Burnley is not a name I think it's being. talked about for Lou or for Cristiano. Ronaldo, but maybe they should. And just. keep things under wraps like those teams. that fly under the radar and then all of. a sudden we're in the Premier League. now. Lou and Ronaldo play together for. the first time ever. Oh my god. For the. Clarence. They were thinking about that. for the FIFA World Club Cup or whatever. Isn't that true? That is on the table. Cristiano is going to play for a team in. that club World Cup. We just don't know. who it is yet. I've touched that trophy. It's the real deal. It is the real deal. trophy. It's almost also for how much.
money for the winner? $100 million. Cristiano free agent right now. So, uh, if he wants to play on conc I'd like to. say, you know, come on down. Oh, yeah. Next week. TST down in Kerry, North. Carolina. Cristiano Ronaldo, you have a. team. Conca, we are paying a little bit. of money, too. So, don't think it's just. a charity opportunity here. We need you. to play hard, too, Cristiano. We need. you to know that this matters and more. people are going to see this than what. they've been seeing in America. On the. world. Correct. in America. So, we need. you to go ahead and score.
Are you guys down there this year? Uh, no. Yeah, I remember he was in a lot. better. Conf. Who's down there? Conca is down. Oh. Oh, there goes my. Well, I am suffering from an injury. right here. You see it? I'm still. suffering. Oh, no. Yeah. from a brutal. attack from going through a few weeks. back in St. Louis. So, I I haven't been.
able to train as much because of this. So, I am worried about my amount of. minutes that I'm going to get down. there. But, I want to let you know our. roster. That's what I heard last year. Well, we didn't really know anything. about it. Like, we made it to the. quarterfinals first year. What do you. want from us? How'd you guys do against. Burnley? Uh oh, yeah. JJ played the. whole game and we beat their ass. I. remember. I remember. Do you remember. that? I do remember you and Zach Knight. going at it in the back as if two. Godzillaas are battling on a soccer. pitch. Might have been the biggest most. amount of meat bopping on a soccer pitch.
in the history. You and Z. No. doubt Zack Knight will be back. Yeah, he's going back. Are you You're not. playing down there. Am I What is Burnley. going down? Uh no, we're not. Cuz you. guys are in Premier League. Yep. The. Premier League focus locked in. Well, Concave is going to get there someday, especially with this roster we have this. year. Yeah, look out. Look out. Who Who. we got? Rosters were supposed to be. revealed today. I believe we did get a. graphic. I have no idea if it was.
uploaded. Yeah, cuz I did not forward. it. I believe it got sent to Gumpy, who. is uh obviously coach, one of the. coaches of the team. He had two yellow. cards last year. I know. Is he allowed. on the sideline? Yeah. Kid me. Yeah, he. beat the hell out of Hey, if coach If. coach gets a red card, do we have to. play Donan? No. No. He just gets sent. packing. Okay. Uh JJ got you got sent. out JJ. I wait I waited till after the. game to get sent packing. Choke slammed. an 80-year-old. Would have been. surprised if Burnley was back. Would. have been surprised if Burnley was back.
at Might might have been a mutual there. Might have been a mutual. Yeah, I think. so. Yeah, I think and also it's a lot of. time in carry. It's a lot of time and. carry. Beautiful play. Beautiful people. if we're if we're being frank. Yeah, but. teams couldn't survive if you weren't. Yeah. Like it got to the one game a day. thing. That was really what extended the. stay. That was really what extended the. stay. Your team was nowhere near. practices extended to stay. Your team. was nowhere near that practice. Your. team was nowhere near our women's team. was our women's team was ready to we. were making a run and then what.
then they were in the final eight. It. was uh so were we. I cannot wait uh to. get down to carry North Carolina next. week as we were last year. I don't know. about my minutes. Bad injury age. Bad. injury on my arm. upper upper body. though. You can you can still take a few. nice shots though. You take a few cuts. at it. Yeah, but remember this is. connected to this connected to this. I. haven't been able to do this and now you. know there's PK maybe you're you're the. the designated PK guy. That's all you do.
stratosphere last year. Yeah. Well, what. I realized when I was taking those free. kicks and kicking one out of the. stadium, which is how uh my soccer. career potentially ended, ripping a hip. flexor, kicking a free kick out of the. stadium, out of the camera shot maybe. out of human eye. shot might be the way to go out to be. clear. Now, I'm going to play if I can. I'm going to play if I can this upcoming. week. But what I realized I was doing. there, I was taking a free kick out of. meat, uh, you know, out of meat's kind. of like that guy actually should be.
kicking that ball or maybe Derek with. the way he was hitting the ball. Gordo. Gerson. Yeah, Red Boots. I don't think. Gordo or Red Boots will be taking any. free kicks, but we're talking about the. meat here. So, me blasting one out of. the stadium potentially. You don't know who meat is. Meat beat. your team's ass. You should know. You. should maybe sign me to. Hey, why don't you Yeah, he did. He gave. you one of these. And you did a one of. those. I mean, sent you for a hot dog. I'm a big guy. I'm not an idiot, you.
know. I like to get out of the way. Well, he took you on a walk, bud. He And. you like a dog. You should sign him to. Burnley, actually. I said all of our transfers are just. meat. You should talk to me. We got. somebody who will talk to me. Text. Tyler. See if he'll do it from Dude. Perfect. JJ said he's actually the lead. scout this year. Well, that's good news. I assume he'll do great at it. Uh, ladies and gentlemen, let's get back to. some sports. TST next week. Our roster. will be revealed at some point. AJ's on. it. AJ Hawk is uh Vibes Consultant. Wow.
God. And our show will be there in. Kerry, North Carolina, which I don't I. think you can get tickets to watch the. tournament and then you can come hang. with us. It's a It's a good setup for. us, but not a good setup for like. audience, you remember? Cuz there's like. a hill and a sun. Yeah. Hot. Very very. bright. So, we'll be live from Kerry, North Carolina down at the soccer. tournament. Fun time. Fun atmosphere, fun tournament. I think they do a great. job. The uh facility is beautiful. I. mean, it's a great, gorgeous area. Down. there for a long time, though. Down.
there for a long time. We'll have a show. down there for two days and uh hopefully. it'll be a blast. Speaking of a blast, last night the Indiana Pacers moved to. three to one against the New York Knicks. in the Eastern Conference Finals. It was. a uh celebratory evening for everybody. in Indiana except for those Knicks fans. that traveled out here to watch their. team play in the Eastern Conference. Finals. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us. now is one of those men. He joined us. yesterday. What we learned is. smooth. Yeah. Got it. Big jumper.
Six points a game in high school. You. know, if you see somebody ah splash by. the perfect rotation, elbow tight, forehead to hoop. I mean, just. absolutely perfect fundamentals. Six. points a game, that's playing. Oh, yeah. You know, if somebody averages like 1. and a half, 1.2 points a game, something. like that. They're coming in garbage. time, they're taking a seat. Six points. a game is we're getting some minutes. Oh, yeah. We're getting some minutes out. here. Now, we're not getting the rock in. every situation. But we're [ __ ]. bopping a wood. Oh, yeah. We're bopping.
wood on defensive side. And if we're in. the corner and they need one, bang, we're knocking it down. That's this man. out of Freehold Township High School. Ladies and gentlemen, Emmy award winner. Peter Shre. Shrekes, did you consider spellch. checkcking that tweet before you fired. it out? Just a quick check. What. happened? What did I do wrong? What was. wrong here? Six points for. Vicity. Yes, public school education. JJ, there it is. Brother Varsity should. have showed up with the blue line.
underneath or the red line under it, but. you capitalized it. So then they. probably thought it was a title. Man, I'll tell you what. smartphone not smart. enough in this situation but our eyes. there's a trick I think it's called. something if you just have all the. letters of a word in the first letters. right and the last letters right your. brain will normally piece it together. right I think that is called something I. forget what it is but veristi here I. didn't even notice till you pointed out. JJ very JJ what move there very we see. the veristi sorry see the veristi shs I. was impressed with your shooting ability.
I was also impressed with the New York. Knicks watching them live now obviously. the Pacers get a huge when Tyresese. Hallebertton goes hala bananas. Okay, he. certainly did that in front of Triple H. Jelly Roll 50 Cent and a litany of. people that traveled out to. Indianapolis, Indiana to watch this. Eastern Conference final game, yourself. included. What are your thoughts on the. way out of there and uh what is your. thoughts on the series now after getting. a chance to experience that? First off, incredible game day experience. Uh, I. came in there as one of the few Knicks.
fans wearing the Knicks colors and I've. been in other buildings where you wear. those colors and you get heckled the. entire game and all these Pacers fans. were awesome. Everyone was respectful. and I'll tell you what I loved about it. 30 minutes before the game, they're all. in their seats and you've got a Vichi. levels just blasting and like everyone's. like ready to go and it is a party and. I'm like, "Oh, like this is not going to. be one of those where the fans come. trickling in with about 10 minutes left. in the first quarter and okay, I'm. getting my this is in LA and in a lot of.
ways I've seen that Delta Lounge at the. Garden third quarters. Maybe it's not a. full house to start the third. Everyone's still mingling at halftime. Oh, these Pacers fans brought it and I. felt like there was from no way at no. point did the Knicks have control. We. were up one with I think about a minute. left in the second quarter and I'm like, "All right, let's go into halftime with. a lead and then the Pacers, they got. that lead and then. Pat, you you talked about it to start. the show. I don't know if the viewers at.
home have a grasp on the promo that you. did and just how much it changed the. energy in the building because the. Knicks were coming and it was a down. from like a 13-point game to a. seven-point game. They give you the mic. You do this promo. You cut this promo. and you call out the celebrities and it. seems like we're all loving. It's all. great. And you tell those so to get on. home and and it is it is such a moment. in that building. If you watch it to the. end of this video, and I'm not going to.
make myself part of the story here, but. you call out everybody. They cut to the. crowd on this jumbotron, and it was my. section, and I'm wearing my dumb Nicks. hat, and I'm just sitting there giggling. as you're taking everybody apart here. You pat, watch this. Freeze frame it. right here. You could see me. Wait, keep. going. Keep going. There he is. Right. there. I'm loving I'm like, "This is amazing.". Now, I make a plea to you. You've got.
enough connections through the NBA, through WWE, through ESPN. Yeah, dude. If you showed up at the Garden wearing. like a TJ McConnell like t-shirt jersey. or something like sick courtside, keep. this thing going, Pat, I think you would. be a embraced in a way that everyone. would love it because here you are. You're going to pay it forward. We're. going to come to your building now. And. B, I think if you haven't been to a game. at the Garden yet, a playoff game, a do. or die game, you will love it. And C, if.
your boys do win, which they might, you'll be on the court when the Pacers. beat the Knicks in the Garden, bro. Yeah. Yeah, that'll be crazy. That would. be crazy. Uh, you know, uh, first of. all, appreciate you, uh, for coming to. the city, hanging out with us yesterday, enjoying the game. Uh we got some photos. of you uh kind of going through the game. last night and experiencing all the. highs and lows sent to us because you. were spotted by people that we knew. We. love that you just came Yep. There he. is. Yeah. Just.
bombard star around a guy's ass. I I. think there was a chance that maybe some. uh some outfits around you weren't. necessarily your favorites as well. But. I appreciate you. There's a dude wearing. Birkenstocks with no socks. There's like. these toenails in my face. I don't know. where you people from Indiana get your. foot. This guy shows up wearing. Birkenstocks. That guy with the Pacers. jacket. Nice dude. He was standing up. the entire. game. I'm staring at his his you know. what the entire game and finally I'm. just like I'm going to sit in the aisle.
on my hand like I'm just watching like. this. But I respect that. Are you. wearing a button-down over your Nick. shirt? I can't tell. I can't tell from here. Is. that a button down that you're wearing? That's a That's a That is a flannel. sweater, the button-down type deal, which I was not even wearing a Nick. shirt. I was just wearing regular. generic clothing. Nicks hat. JJ. reporting the brand, but didn't want to. go overboard with it. Um, but this dude. with the pace, like I thought this was. debt left shremp or this was Vern. Fleming with this old school Pacers, you. know, windbreaker. He was wearing. Birkenstocks, his pose all out on the.
BS. All right, bro. You You saw this guy. cuz this guy was standing in front of. you and you were sitting down. You're. just eyeing this guy. Okay, so I'm g. have to stand down to his feet. This guy. this guy is in public like this. Unbelievable. And then the Pacers start. to do what they do. Uh it was it was a. magical night last night in Gainbridge. I was thankful to be there. Lucky to be. there. We appreciative of you coming out. there. Uh going to MSG. That's a funny. thought. I I know how much we paid for. our seats there at Gainbridge.
Fieldhouse. I couldn't even fathom by. three what Madison Square Garden would. be for those uh tickets. You talked. about all those connections. I think. even those connections have to pay for. these things from what I from my. understanding and this how this is all. going. Might want to get Narcan on the. line. Need two commercials to get out there to. Madison Square Garden. But I thought. about it last night, you know, especially after I was getting heckled. and I heard a lot of people say like uh. this type of stuff wouldn't happen in. New York. I think I saw Ben Stiller say.
would not happen, which I don't know if. he meant wouldn't not happen as if it. would happen cuz that's a double. negative there. I don't know. Wouldn't. happen maybe. And then he added the not. in his tweet. I was trying to figure out. I was trying to see if Ben was actually. like Yeah, he def he definitely was. And. someone also tweeted the video from last. year of when the uh Knicks went up two. in MSU and they're chanting f you. Reggie. Yeah. And then Josh Hart comes. over to clarify what they were saying. They're saying you buddy is what they're. saying in that entire thing. And I love. that. I enjoy that. That's what I think.
sports are, right? And and but I just I. found it awesome that like there were. cuz I said send these sons of [ __ ]. homes with their ears ringing is what I. was talking about cuz I wanted it to be. loud because I heard I missed that part. also. Everybody missed that part. I did. say it. It's clearly Did he say it, Pete? Did he say that? I I missed that. part. I backed out once I heard so send. them home. I was like, see everybody. gets distract Everybody gets distracted. to turn this [ __ ] up. Turn this [ __ ]. Yeah, because I heard I heard the third. game. Okay. Which some people might have.
missed. Sure. Most most people in Nobody. sleeps through it, right? Mhm. Nobody. Yeah. Some people did though cuz Indy500. day was a long day. Yeah. Race day. Hey, you know, it was the way it was. Get in, get out there and what Paul did for. first time in the history of Spaniard. drivers wins the Indy500. There's a lot. of emotions there. So, some people. weren't maybe there for that game and. were supposed to be certainly paid for a. seat there and uh didn't didn't make it. to it or whatever. I heard bad news out. of Gamebridge, though. I I heard it was. uh heard at the end of the game it was a.
little bit down. It was it was loud. So, I literally they weren't vrooming. Stress was at both games. He obviously. had much more fun on Sunday than he did. on Tuesday. He said it was he said, "I. didn't expect it to be as docile as it. was." Now, the bases were up 20. basically for the entirety. So maybe. they got bored. Also a long day. Tired. So whenever they hand me a microphone. 500, everyone had their vroom vroom. t-shirts on. Did you do the Indy500? Sh, did you do the Indy500? No, I didn't know. Yeah, it would have.
been a long day. Wouldn't have been able. to do it. That would be a hell of a day. though. That's a That's an Indianapolis. staple day. You're racing and pacing. Exactly. Now, I just did some racing and. snoozing and woke up, saw the game, watched the entirety minute from tip off. all the way to the final, you know, fell. back asleep in that entire thing. But. yeah, I missed it. So, whenever they. give me a microphone for the fourth. quarter, it's like, oh, I heard JJ's. right. I've never seen that in any. sporting event. Forget just NBA. basketball fourth quarter. I've never. seen a fan. First, Mike Eps got one was.
fine in the third quarter, then they. give it to Pat McAfee in the fourth. I'm. like, I've never seen this in the. history of sports. There were multiple. mics. Mike Eps. Yeah, you got Mike Eps. in the building. You're gonna give him a. microphone. Mike Eps, Indianapolis. legend, by the way. And that was your. angle because Mike Eps was so he did a. long promo like pro Indianapolis Pacers. Let's go, guys. So, your only angle was. the New York Knicks fans that were. there. Mike Eps actually Yeah, he he did. his uh promo. Um, and I thought to. myself, okay, I don't have to do one. That is literally I thought they I did.
not know I was getting a microphone last. night. I did not know that. Come on. Legitimately did not know. had done it. in the past. A year ago I did one uh it. was like a regular season game I think. and but it was like a full thing like I. was there for Tyrese. Tyresese gave me. the tickets. It was a full thing. I'm. like okay so I'm sitting here got free. tickets I could do a little you know. we're doing an entire thing. They hadn't. shown you the whole night. Yeah. You're. sitting there fourth quarter like they. haven't shown me the whole night. Third. quarter I was pumped. It's coming like. quarter I was like third quarter I'm.
aokay. I I literally thought it was not. going to happen. You're the king of the. castle. Well, this is okay. I am not. There was a lot of people saying JJ, they showed on that jumbotron every. single Pacers player who's ever played. from from 1976 to 2025. I'm [ __ ] It. was awesome. I'm seeing, you know, Danny. Granger is in the house. Germaine. O'Neal's in the house. They also had. like both Davis brothers. I'm like, wait. a best little lefty out of Georgia Tech. I'm like, yes, they're all there. Then.
they go in, they do some of the indie. legends, which is cool. And you had Mike. Apps and John Melanchamp. Yeah. John. Melitt and you did get a Triple H who. was with Pat, but they didn't show. You. knew this [ __ ] was coming. No, I thought. for real they were not. I thought it was. like I I Cuz once again, I cannot stress. this enough. The price that they was you. sitting in your seat, did you think to. yourself, "Oh, they're saving them. They're saving them for the right. moment." You had to know that they were. I don't know what was happening. I was.
so confused because I showed every I. mean I'm talking literally like dele. shrimp isn't here today but let's show a. picture of him just every pacer you. could imagine and I'm like are they. going to show and then it was already. like fourth quarter JJ 5 minutes left. I'm like I guess they're not going to. show I don't know what the deal is maybe. he didn't want to be on camera maybe he. wasn't and then this moment I'm telling. you it was like a 10-point game Pat does. his thing and it's like let me hear that. boom boom boom let me hear seo and the. play goes.
They brought in Mariano Rivera. They. saved you till the bottom of the ninth. and they brought in the big arm and they. said, "Get him in here." It was an honor. to talk for the boys, you know, and I. like this team a lot. I literally knew. 45 seconds before that I was talking. I. would just like that to be done. That's. a whole another angle. Guy, good MC. Great MC brings the juice. You're right. Great MC. Great MC brings the juice. He. shows up with the microphone and. literally right like 30 seconds before. that I'm like, "Are you doing an. interview with me? Like how's this going.
to go?" He goes, "No, I'm giving you the. microphone." I'm like, "Okay, [ __ ] Here. we go. We're off and running." And then. all of a sudden, you know, you got to do. what you got to do. I will say Timothy. Shalomé being in Indiana, like you. brought it up yesterday about him. spending his memorial day traveling to. Indianapolis to watch his Knicks play. It was very evident that he is a. passion. Like watching him react to the. Knicks was so cool. Especially cuz he's. going to be the biggest actor on earth. He's the next one, right? He is. He's. one of the next. Yeah, for sure. He's. the next one. So like him loving sports. as much as he does. Awesome. Spikeley.
obviously been doing this for decades. and decades. And Ben Stiller, I don't. think I knew he was as big of a Knicks. fan as he is, but he clearly is. Traveled all the way out to Indianapolis. multiple times to watch it. So like I. thought it was like cool to see them. So. yeah, I mean me shouting them out was in. a uh I'm telling you it was out of a. place of like respect and love. If you. wouldn't have done that though and you. would have been like smooching their ass. like they would have booed you. Yeah. Well, we got to get and we can't be. losing fourth quarter. Strangers here, you know, we can't be losing in front of.
Shranks. I'm telling you came out of. nowhere, had a good time. Happy we won. Shalamé when he won, he won like the SAG. after award. And he goes up there and. gives a speech. You saw this where he's. like this ain't a joke. This ain't a. hobby. Like I want to be the Michael. Jordan of acting and like anyone else. says that you're like all right tulle. like get out of here. It was like it. like completely resonated with everyone. It's like finally someone with some. bravado who's coming in here. Stiller to. his credit this guy lives on like the. the Nicks Twitter p like there's guys. like I hate Shawn and Jonathan Macki and.
like Anthony MSG like Nick's Twitter. people and Stiller is on Twitter like. engaging with them all day all night. So. he's legit man. Like these guys are real. deal. That said, if you came to the. garden, it I'm telling it's it's not. it's not like Do you have an extra. $300,000? I mean, I don't even know what. that could be. I honestly Here we go to. SeatGeek. Uh let's look for some uh It's. going to be tough to read. Can we zoom. in on that at all? 47,000.
$69,000. You got Is that for one for one ticket? Yeah. Yeah. So, those two right there, uh, 47,000. That whole row is open. You. can get it. They said, "Hey, listen. You. can get it." 69,000 for about 15 seats. I mean, you're No, no, you need to be. courtside. You need to be courtside. I. don't I don't need you seven throw. I. need you courtside. $47,000 a ticket over there. I mean,
you've given away 10 times that on a. kick on college game day. Come on. Yeah. What Henry scores. Henry and Daniel, they deserve that. They were great. kicks. They had great kicks. You and. Still are next to each other. When is. that? This is Thursday. Might have. something going on Thursday, but if I. can, I will certainly make it. I uh. Really? Yeah. I I would I would love you. so much. That was incredible. Sh, are. you going? I'm I'm going to go if if if I get back. to. see zoom out a little.
bit. Let's get a little zoom out. Zoom. out a little. Zoom out. Where we at? How's that ESPN deal? Where we at? I I. think he'd go. How about right behind. there? 3742. That seems like good seats. We got a 730 up there at the top. of the Empire State Building. If I get a. ticket out Yeah. No doubt. 600 or 829. bucks up there. You'll see it. You'll. see it. They say you'll be in the.
building. You'll be in the building. where it happened. Grand second to last. row is a grand. What are we doing? That's Master Square Garden, brothers. That's me at the uh the Raising Canes in. Penn Station. That's it. There it is. All the way out there. Well, just know. this. If I end up going, which um would. be very cool, I will say very cool. I. will certainly get a ticket for you, Shakes. Okay, I can say that. You don't. have to do that. I just need you in the. building. I just need the I need you to. experience it. And if you don't want to. invite me, I would gladly come. I'll sit. wherever. But I really, this is bucket.
list stuff, dude. The garden and. elimination game for your team. Come on. Okay, so I would say uh if we're gonna. spend 70 grand on those tickets, we got. 69 grand up there in front. Shs up there. in 1,000. You'll be sitting like that's. kind of how the Madison Square Garden. thing is too. It like they are like on. top of you there. Shs, if I end up. going, which is going to be a tall task. literally with my schedule, but if I. able to make it, we will get you uh. tickets. Let's talk a little bit about. NFL. Jage brought up a Trey Hendrickson. story uh a little bit ago. Is there any.
movement on that in your eyes? And what. do you think is the deadline for that. whole thing? Because Rapaort tells us on. a regular basis, I think this is going. to get done. Y I think this is going to. get done. He said he thinks that the. Bengals end up paying Trey Hendrickson. Do you agree with that or what are your. kind of thoughts on how Trey Hendrickson. ends up being an Indianapolis Colt this. year? It's such a unique situation. because he's approaching it so much. differently than we've seen players in. the past. is a 30-year-old guy who met. his wife in Cincinnati, had his kids in. Cincinnati and loves being a Bengal, and.
instead of him going through an agent or. doing these cryptic Instagram messages, he straight up came on your show and. then spoke with reporters and was just. wearing his heart on his sleeve, saying, "This is what the market is paying these. guys, and I am grossly underpaid. I. think it's fair that I at least get some. sort of bump." And yet the Bengals. entered this entire off seasonason with. this label of being cheap and being. small time. And they broke the bank on. what they thought was their top two. priorities. Two wide receivers under the.
age of 30 who everyone expected it was. going to be one or the other. In one. fell swoop, they took care of both of. them. And they thought they had checked. the box. Little did they realize that. they would have this upset veteran. player who happens to also be a. wonderful member of the community and a. great leader in the locker room who's. like, "No, no, no, no, no. I want mine. Also, Ian might have a different read on. it than I do. I just know they went into. this off season with priority one being. Jamar Chase, priority two being T. Higgins. I'm not sure they saw this Trey. Hendrickson thing approaching like it.
has. It's been a locomotive and I don't. know if it gets settled by the time. we're at training camp. 40 million a. year is the number Miles Garrett's. getting to uh play the same position in. the same state in the same division. Yeah. you know, so uh that happening. Haslam I genuinely believe that when. Hasslam agrees to these deals, he does. think about the other owners that can't. keep up and especially in the AFC North. in the entirety of it all. And Miles. Garrett getting that deal done. There's. somebody in Pittsburgh that's upset.
Let's not ask his brother about it. No, don't do that. He'll be pissed. I'm not. pissed. You have any updates? I I have. plenty of I have I have all I have all. the information. I just can't share it. Wow. Isn't that nice? Do you have all. the information on AJ Hawk's best. friend? Cuz I seen some reports that. people are pissed that Aaron Rogers. isn't at OTAAS for the Pittsburgh. Steelers. He's not even on the team. On. that note, Debbot has a question for. you, Shrek. Are there any people that. are actually on teams that are have not.
showed up to Otiles Garrett, he's in. Tokyo or something like that, but he. probably has his own offseason deal like. a lot of vets do. But are there any. other players maybe with some contract. things going on that haven't showed up. to OTAAS that are surprising? What's. interesting is first of all, I'm just a. total uh Darius Butler made about 16. shots out of 16 yesterday from three and. there's a video of me making two. Darius. Butler did not miss a three-point shot. for the entire 4hour show. And Darius is. unbelievable in basketball. He is. unbelievable.
Amazing. You know when they used to do. like the NFL NBA players NFL NBA players. conversation rock and jock. Yeah. I. Okay, that was that actually happened on. MTV I believe and the four-point shot. that was way up in the sky was obviously. something. Nobody ever mentions Debbut. as representing the NFL playing. basketball. This guy still play runs. five on five still to this day. Legit on. a regular bas playing defense though. Yeah, but you're practicing in here. You're practicing in here. You get reps. in I mean the guy's unbelievable. Trey, you're right. He's unbelievable at.
basketball. Incredible. And like a very. generous passer, too. Gorgeous passes. Now, look, I. played I played in the Jersey Shore in a. conference called A North, which if. you're from New Jersey, you know that. was like the conference in a giant. public school conference. So, when I. average six points a game, that is a. badge of honor. That is something I am. proud of. I started as a junior. Get. this. Then I come in as a senior as the. captain and my coach Brian Gallop of the. Freelo Township Patriots about three. games in is like we got this sophomore.
dude who was dunking and I probably. played like two minutes a game my senior. year which was good leadership. leadership I was the James Johnson of. that team I was talking smack the other. coaches the other I was there so you ask. about a north I mean that's Quinton. Nelson played in a north and we had a. bunch of dogs out of that conference and. and you know uh CB NBA and Red Brank. regional, like real teams. So, I am. honored. I'm honored. So, ask around. It's good. Um, as for the players who.
didn't show up, Kurt Cousins not being. at practice was a little interesting. because there's all these different. little milestone markers during the. offseason and the Falcons could have. moved on from Kirk Cousins. March 10th, he got a huge bonus. He collected that. The draft, everyone's filling out their. stuff. They didn't trade them. And then. right up here to OTAAS it's like all. right well there's some and for Cousins. as as Sha reported and Raheem Morris. basically was being co like I didn't see. Kirk today so I I don't know where that. heads Jade just said why would he be.
there I mean like we kind of knew he. wasn't going to be there right no Kirk. Cousins leader of the team Drake still. showed up show leadership you know I I. was a two points per game senior year. guy I showed up to all those practices I. I wasn't making 30 $40 million JJ I. don't know maybe but you could make the. argument that it's literally probably. worse. I mean, it depend it all depends. on how the attitude if you were to show. up like it taking the Yeah. Who's taking. the reps? How are we going to break this. down? All these things and there's. conversations that don't even I mean.
that's my take on it. Correct. That's. actually a really interesting. perspective and I love that we have that. player perspective on that because to me. as an outsider I raised my eyebrows. thought well that's interesting because. they could have moved on from him and. then he's not there and he's always been. such a classy veteran and all along has. been like I'll do whatever I'm is. necessary but I had not considered that. where hey maybe if I'm there it clouds. things for Penn let him be the dog let. him be the the a guy let him run this. entire 3-week process and then I'll show. up at training camp that could be very. well I think I think it might be one of. those situations where it's like we're.
not all going to play this little. charade where I'm going to go out here. and take reps from guys who actually. need reps and who want to get reps. Like. we all know what's happening here. I'm. not actually going to be like they have. their guy. They they've made that clear. Just go ahead. Go with Yeah. And Kirk. can go build fires with the boys. Yeah. With the kids. Coup. Coup. That's a good. fire. Coupe. Yep. Kirk Cousins is the. winner of that quarterback series in my. eyes and the wide receiver one and the. uh other one that they did which is. really Yeah. Everyone came in that that. that show. Everyone came into that like,
ah, Kirk's a little corny. He comes off. not only as cool as hell, but also like. so dedicated and tough. And then he did. all that stuff in his in his house with. his wife, like where you're looking at. him like memorizing plays. Like I. thought to your point, no one's brand or. public image was built up more and and. and increase and given a lot of goodwill. than Kirk Cousins. And that's the guy he. is. I think he's gone from Atlanta. No, we don't know that. That's the. thing. It's like everyone assumed he's. got a no clause too. Yeah, he can he.
controls where he goes with the no trade. clause. Great call. And also there was. all these different milestones where. they've already paid like they're giving. him millions just by being on the roster. throughout this off season every single. milestone and he's still there. And to a. man Rahee Morris is like he's going to. be our number two. He's going to be. there and and and that's what we plan on. having as as our backup in the in this. in this room. Now as long as Pittsburgh. doesn't have a quarterback, I'll always. keep my eyes open on that. And I know. that just because they never actually. over overlapped, the fact that Arthur.
Smith came from Atlanta and knows Terry. Fontau and knows Arthur Blank and knows. what those guy and like they they didn't. end on horrible relations. To me, there's still a connection there. And. then, oh, by the way, Mike Tomlin's best. friend in the league is probably Raheem. Morris. So, to me, there's always an. open line of dialogue, which is the most. important thing. These people know each. other that if Rogers pulls the shoot or. does something, who knows? TJ Watts. quarterback could be Kurt Cousins if. you're just looking to fill the seats on. the carousel. Pulls the shoot. Does that.
mean retire or? Yeah. I don't know. I. made that up. I don't know what that. even means. Pulls the shoot. I thought I. was pretty good. I thought sounded. great. Yeah, cuz. like you pull the shoot. Yeah. And then. you just kind of in the freeall. It made. your point. I think it was a good a good. line cuz it definitely the avichi. levels. Oh, I love that. What was the song that played. immediately after I spoke? Let me. say Jack like guy in the Birkenstocks. lost his mind when they played that.
song. 7:30 at night, you've got your best Vern. Fleming uh you know uh windbreaker on. What shoes am I going to wear? Socks. Get them out of here. Give me the. Birkenstocks. Yeah, I want to be. comfortable out there. Might have to go. walk a trail, you know. Might have to. eat some granola. Maybe chew some bark. Yeah, maybe chew some bark. You never. know. You never know what you're gonna. have to do. By the way, cool as hell. Nice guy. Tatted up the whole thing. I. like them. Of course. Just scared of his. feet the entire game.
Yeah, it was better than viewing a. quarter, huh? With Pacers getting a big. time win over the New York Knicks. Uh. you talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers. maybe with Kirk Cousins. The story was. um if the Cleveland Browns don't take a. quarterback at number two, they're going. to trade for Kirk Cousins. Now they have. a lot of quarterbacks on their roster. Go ahead, Ty. Yeah. Shakes. Now, there's. rumors floating around that there's. there's no way that the Browns are going. to, you know, go into maybe even camp or. start the season with the four guys they. have. Is there any chance that a another. team is interested in one of their.
quarterbacks? And if they were to trade. someone, like, are we strictly talking. either Joe Flacco or Kenny Picket here? Like, is is there any chance that either. one of the guys they drafted this year. could potentially be moved before the. season? I just don't what's the value on. a Dylan Gabriel? No one knows, you know, what he is and if they wanted him, they. could have drafted him in the first two. rounds. So, I would take Dylan Gabriel. off of that. Shador, same thing. The. issue becomes with Flacco, he was a free. agent and Stfansky knows him. And I I do.
value the personal relationships here. And in this case, you know, Flaco had. options. Stfansky said, "You were come. back player of the year. He took us to. the playoffs two years ago. Like, come. back to Cleveland." I I would be really. hardressed to think after they lured. Flaco back to Cleveland after he already. signed with Indie last year for a year. and came out that that that he would. then be told all right sorry we're. getting we're trading you. That'd be. really rough on him. Pickicket might. just be the odd man out just based on. how it all went down. They traded for. him, but it was more, hey, we've already.
got Flacko. We don't know what we're. going to do with the young guys. We'll. take Kenny Picket. Now that said, if. Kenny Picket lights it up in the next. few weeks and demands the room and does. all that stuff, who knows? But to me, if. you're looking at those four guys, who's. the odd man out? I would just think. based on relationships, value, and what. they can maybe get in return, I would. think Kenny Picket would be the odd man. out of those four. Uh, fascinating. What. is going to happen with Shadore and. Dylan Gabriel? Uh, that is not talked about right now. No, at all. That's kind of gotten quiet.
That's good, right? Just letting people. do their job, kind of work, do their. thing. Did we expect that? I didn't I. don't think I expected that. wait till. preseason. I think I think training camp. will be a real testing ground for all. these guys. And and with Shador's case, I remember covering the Seattle Seahawks. back in 2012 when they had a fellow. Wisconsin Badger, albe it for just one. year, but fellow Wisconsin Badger showed. up and there was already the late. Travaris Jackson who could play. They. already had Matt Flynn who just had.
signed a massive free agent contract to. AJ knows well and Russell Wilson showed. up the day he got there and by the time. it was the second week of preseason. covering that team being in Seattle no. one could even deny that Russell was the. best player in that room and even the. quarterbacks who were the veterans the. late Tvaris Jackson and of course Matt. Flynn like they had to concede that yeah. this guy's amaz like he is a diamond. that was 2012 that was 13 years ago. Shador is going to probably have to have. that kind of impact where it becomes.
undeniable to anybody. And then Kevin. Stfansky, the head coach, is like, "Yes, the fourth quarterback in this room when. we stack it as far as chronological. order goes. Signing Joe, trading for. Kenny, drafting Dylan, the fourth. quarterback is by far the best guy and. gives us the best option to win week. one. That is an uphill battle that he. can do because none of these guys are. bonafideed number ones per by any means. But it it is an uphill battle for him as. a day three draft pick to be the. starting quarterback week one. And I. think a lot of people are just opening.
the door like, "Hey, that could happen. It's an open competition." It's never. really a true open competition because. guys come in at different points on the. roster. And on the depth chart today, he. did take reps as the fourth quarterback. taking reps. Yeah, he's fifth round. draft pick. And Dylan Gabriel obviously. drafted ahead of him in this particular. draft. So that obviously builds up an. anim I don't want to say animosity but a. conversation or controversy just amongst. those two let alone the guy that led the. Cleveland Browns to the playoffs two. years ago in Joe Flacco being back in. Kenny Picket who touched the ball last. in the last Super Bowl. Good question.
Kenny Picket. So all through that. quarterback controversy will obviously. be a lot of chatter and a lot of. conversation, but it's all because. Deshun Watson got $230 million there is. trying to find anything he possibly can. Correct. And uh Shador slide to the. fifth round. We'll see if it was. warranted or justified or if maybe he's. able to become a superstar. But what. about Dylan Gabriel? Third round pick. A. lot more third round picks have gone on. to start earlier than fifth round pick. And clear clearly they wanted Dylan. Gabriel on their team. They wouldn't. have drafted him in the third round. They took a quarterback before Shador. Sanders in this draft and that was Dylan. Gabriel and everyone dismissing him.
because of what they all thought was. going to happen going into the draft. Granted, Shadore might have had a bigger. spotlight, but like they drafted Dylan. Gabriel over Shador Sanders. So let's. not cheat Dylan Gabriel out of that. opportunity to win that job as well. Yeah, absolutely. Dylan Gabriel, Big 10. champ. Dylan Gabriel goes over to. Oregon, does phenomenal things. Now, they get the doors blown off them in the. Rose Bowl, which I think is what a lot. of people remember of that Oregon team, but that Ohio State team was going to. beat anybody on that particular day. That's right. I do uh believe AJ has a. question for you, Shrikes. Yeah,
Shrekes. What about Jaylen Ramsey? I. know McDaniels came out and said there's. nothing that's really happened. Where. does he play next year, do you think? Yeah, McDaniel was asked three questions. on it back to back to back today. And. usually Mike is so verbose and will go. on a a real tangent and actually speaks. to the reporters like human beings and. gives them answers. And today he went to. like the company line was like I'm only. talking about guys who are here. So that. tells me that they really are at a. standstill there. Now the issue with. Jaylen Ramsey AJ is that he makes $20. million a year. So someone is going to. have to take at least some of that, you.
know, a big bulk of that and the. Dolphins are not going to trade him 30. cents on the dollar. So everyone just. assumes the Rams because he played. there. I don't get the feeling the Rams. are banging down the doors for the the. Miami Dolphins to trade them Jaylen. Ramsey so they can pay him 1617 million. this year as a corner. Um I think there. is probably a better chance he has. traded than him being there on the team. But I don't have a line or a list of. teams that that make sense at the moment. just because of the salary and also. because of this time of year. Usually. it'll heat up more towards training. camp. Let's go to one half of the Hammer.
Cowboys live from. Hammer Don. Thank you, J. I'm trying, man. That is hard. That You guys are. good. I grew up with it. That's AP tone. back here. I forgot about that. That's. kind of cool. What's that? AP. Hey, you. have a vote. I got to see your final. ballots, by the way. Never saw him. He's. posted them publicly. We have We believe. in transparency around here. Mhm. I got. to go check the We consulted and the. truth. Yeah. Didn't he talk to you about. it? Yeah. No, he did. And where'd he put.
DJ? I don't remember. Third, I think. Oh, man. No, I believe I believe it was. second. Okay. Of course. Tom, you have a. question for Shregs. Van Geni was first. You just Van Ginky had a great season. Yeah, Shreggs. Uh let's Buffalo Bills. Uh have we heard anything about James. Cook? I know we talked earlier about. OTAA uh guys who weren't there. Um. what's his situation? Because I know he. I believe he's looking for 20 million. Yeah, I don't know if it's 20, but it's. significantly more than what I think the. Bills are looking to extend him with. this off season. So, there's going to. have to be some some uh you know, middle.
ground there. But when all these. different running backs, whether it be. Saquon or Derrick Henry, got their. little bumps in pay here and they were. paid more than what they came in last. year as free agents, I think James Cook. and his agent probably looked at that. and said, "Okay, well, let's take care. of an aspiring or an ascending guy who. was the best player on the field for. them in a lot of games and especially. during the Chiefs when he had that. insane stretch across the goal line.". but that Brandon Bean's job this off. seasonason was to extend a lot of. different guys and you know I think they. want to take care of James Cook but not. at the numbers that have been tossed.
around at the moment. Uh James Cook let. James Cook was kind of their mantra. He. sees Saquon Barkley sign a massive deal. He thinks to himself, "Excuse me, what's. going on around here? I need my first. big payday." 20 touchdowns. Yeah. Yeah. Why not playoffs? Good luck. Brandon. Bean's got to get that figured out. He. paid a lot of people. Yeah. They're in a. transition process. I think James Cook. is a great player. I hope they get it. figured out. That team could go, especially in front of his new Bison. That's right. They got new Bison outside. the stadium. Have you heard about that?
No. I like to hear about this. Okay. They're building a new stadium up there. in Buffalo. It's going to be beautiful. It's going to be gorgeous. What a great. fan base. Will it be done? Probably not. Construction. Yep. Totally going to be. delayed. That's how how it goes. Always. going to be delayed. There's going to be. things, especially with the weather up. there. I don't know how they get. anything accomplished. Yeah. Open air. stadium probably can't do too much work. Saw the final beam though. Final beam. That's a big day. Yeah, it is a big day. Have you seen the bison out front? No. I. need to hear about this. So, you know. what a bison is? I sure do. Eat them all. the time. Do you know what a buff? You. do eat them because they're healthy. Yep. Do you know what a buffalo looks. like? I sure do. What are the.
differences? I don't know. Okay. So, you. don't know. I mean, I know. I I You. asked if I knew what a buffalo looks. like. I do. What's it look like then? The University of Colorado mascot. Ralphie. No. So, that's actually a. bison. Son of a [ __ ] Yeah. That is not. You kidding me? That's illegal. Yeah, that is a bison. That's like the buffalo. advertising. Thank you. Yeah. So, they're going to have bison. Actually, water buffaloos have these things here. They have these things here off their. heads. Well, that's a water buffalo. What's a regular buffalo? So, good. question. That's just what it is. Yeah,
it's a bison. Everything we've been. calling a buffalo is is actually a North. Dakota State should take Colorado's. mascot to Northakota State is the bison. Yeah, they take that. Well, what the. hell should be running around Fulsome. Field for a buffalo? Yeah. One of these. things. That's a water buffalo. Well, they're not called the water buffalo. That's what a buffalo is. So, there's no. regular buffalo. No, it's a bison. Everything we've thought has been a. buffalo has been a bison our entire. life. Are you sure? Yes. Remember we did. this entire thing because whenever they. to they put the uh the new statue.
anyways, there's new statues coming in. front of the Buffalo Bill. They're. bison, which is what the Colorado. Buffaloos have. So, the Buffalo Bill on. the helmet is a bison a Buffalo Bison. But they're technically that that's fine. because they don't call themselves the. Buffalo Buffaloos. Yeah, they're just. from Buffalo. It's fine. It's just the. mascot. Anyways, they're going to have. bison. How tall are these things going. to be offer? About 18 ft, I believe. How. many of them? Three. Okay. I don't think. it's that high. We have four bulls. outside of NRG Stadium in Houston. Bull.
versus bison. How big is the bull? Uh, very large. How big? Do you know the. feet? I don't know. Does it feel like. it's big enough? Uh, it's it's it's big. Can you walk between its legs? You could. you could walk under it. Yeah. Can you. hop on its back, ride it like a like a. bucking bull? You'd have to climb, but. you could get upper. I would say you. could two JJ Watts could toss up her. Uh. yeah. So it's about 12 ft. I would say. 12 feet are probably accurate. No, I. think it's a little taller than 12 ft.
You think that's on a pedestal? It's on. a pedestal. The chest or the head? Uh I. think the top of the head is probably 20. ft. So that seems like a big ass That's. a big That's a big ass bull on a. pedestal. On a pedestal. The pedestal. I. am counting the pedestal. Yeah, because. that's the the base of the trophy. Correct. So, do people take pictures in. front of it? Uh, they do. See, this is. what this is the research that Buffalo. needed to do for their bison on the Why. do they don't have these things? Everybody thinks that the bison is going. to be too small. We don't have a. rendering. We have renderings of. everything in today's world. The. renderings have them very large and then. the real size came out and everybody's.
like, "Wait a minute. We got baby ass. bison." Oh, no. Show continues. Uh, yeah. Then the mammoth are going to have. to put some mammoths outside. Those are. going to have to be sick. Great. recommendation, by the way. Thank you. We did a good brainstorming. Uh, we're. going to end here on ESPN. We'll. continue digitally. The show stinks. We. know that. You don't have to tell us. But if you'd like to continue to watch, we'll be on YouTube, ESPN Plus, Disney. Plus, and Tik Tok Live. We can't thank. you enough for allowing us to do this. for a living. The Indiana Pacers are one. win away from going to the NBA finals. It's going to be a tough one over there. in Madison Square Garden. This Nick. seems tough. Their fans are dedicated.
and loyal, but so is the Indiana Pacer. faithful. Be a friend. Tell a friend. something nice that might change their. life, including Ben Stiller. We'll see. you tomorrow. Goodbye. All right, we. nailed it. Okay, let's get back. I was. just trying to fill there, shreds. I was. just trying to fill there cuz we had a. hard out. So, I went to the bison talk. You just There's no way that's correct. All right, somebody filled me. I mean, I. don't That's insane. We had a tough day. We did it live on the air. Really? That's the only reason why I know this. And like, did somebody from the. University of Colorado reach out and say.
like they Yeah, they did actually. You're right. They did. They called our. show because what we did in a brainstorm. session live on air and they said, "You. guys really We got to get to the bottom. University of Colorado. Somebody out. there. I mean, Dion's on socials. everywhere. He's going to see this. Look, brother. We need the Buffalo. answer. Bison. Plains bison. Bison. Bison. Bison. I I agree. That looks. exactly like Ralphie. Yeah. Woods bison. Bison. The buffalo's got the horns. That's what they are. All right. Wow. Got a Cape Buffalo and water buffalo.
Two very different things there. Yeah. Similar horns, though. Just one's a. little bit more worn in. So, how a. little bit more fresh. The water buffalo. have fresher horns. I'm baffled right. now at how they have gotten away with. this for a hundred years. You're allowed. to call a bison a buffalo. There's no. crime against it. No one's gonna fight. you. Yeah. Nobody's going to arrest you. It's not technically correct. You're. just wrong. 2025 just call. So it'd be. like the It'd be like the New Orleans. Pelicans having a toucan as their. mascot. Yeah. But calling themselves a. pelican. Yeah. But calling themselves a. pelican. Yeah. I mean, pretty. disrespectful, I guess, to bison, I. think, kind of through this whole thing.
I guess that's really the core of I'm. really upset on behalf. And you remember. how you started this whole thing? I eat. them every day. That's what you're. eating, brother. You're eating a. buffalo. Oh, man. My son eats them, too. He loves loves bison. Probably take it doesn't matter. It's. very good for you. But maybe I'm I'm. more I've I've met Ralphie. I've visited. the University of Colorado. I feel like. I was lied to. You were. I don't think. his name's not even Ralphie. Oh [ __ ]. You're right. I don't know if it's a he. either. No, we don't know anything. We.
don't know anything. Yeah. Well, we do. We do actually cuz we told you this. feel like you got to get Ben Stiller on. the show. Random thought. I don't know. if that's going to happen. Has to. happen. He needs to clarify his tweet. and I need to know if he's actually. upset or not. I don't think Stiller on. He needs to clarify. I was reading the. tweet. I was literally reading. He. Connor has some cinematic questions as. well, I do believe. Yeah. Gripes. Yeah. But Ben Stiller has created some bangers. throughout my life, which is why when I. saw him, I was like, "This is pretty. sweet." And then I was reading his. tweets. I'm like Ben Sto's not actually.
I personally didn't think I didn't think. he was he on the show. I believe Seance. is him escaped from what is it? Anamura. whatever that. he's not a silly guy necessarily now. He's a director. Okay. He's not either. Pat. He's not an athlete. He doesn't. know how to go back and forth with. athletes like they do. He's not. Hollywood kid. He's a little different. now. We appreciate the hell out of love. See you soon. You're the man. Trager. He's going to do a Sports Center here in.
2 minutes. Great guy. He's got to fix. that hair. Yeah. Has a hat on. Yeah. Cap. on Sports Center. Can't be doing that at. all. No. Okay, let's get to a break. On. the other side, we have a national. champion joining us. Mhm. We have a man. from a family of lacrosse players. joining us that we just learned about. recently. Should know about. CJ Kirst is his name. JJ, do you know. him? I do now. come from a great family. for cross players. That is well done. Big cursed what he. was able to do with the stick. And then.
second big curse. Yeah. Yep. Nasty Mets. Third big curse. Three curs. Great. point. So many of them like like the. Elias family. No. Different. They didn't grow up in. Pittsburgh. Yeah. The curse are actually. from not Pittsburgh. I think Jersey. Somebody here should. have done research on this curse fan. We're going to do that right now. quickly. We're going to do that right. now quickly. Yep. Absolute dog. The. cursed family from what we've been told.
from other people we know run the. lacrosse family. I got a lot of questions. So perfect. Good good family represent lacrosse is. what I'm being told. What I'm being told. is good family chitchat about lacrosse. Just had one of the greatest years in. the history of college lacrosse. Tied. the goalc scoring record in the history. of college lacrosse and won a national. championship. This guy had six goals. What was it? How many goals? has six. goals to tie the record at 82. Also has. the most points ever in a career. Has. the most goals ever in a career. And. yes, I did remember he is they are from. New Jersey and he's six goals in a.
national championship. I did I saw this. highlight reel the other day. I was he's. a freight train. He's a dog. CJ cannot. wait to talk to him on the other side. Congrats to Cornell. We continue to be a. lacrosse a pro lacrosse show. Absolutely. A pro lacro go show. Yeah. GoPro Lacro show just like we've been. saying this entire time. Exactly. Did. you ever play lacrosse out there in. Wisconsin? No. It started to pick up. right near the end. I I in Wisconsin it. was hockey was still the winner. You. were a hockey player, right? Yes. Did.
you hear what the uh Oilers did to the. Stars last night? It did. Oh, it's over. It's over for Texas. Hockey. It's not over. We'll win game. five. Then we'll see what happens after. that. But we ain't dead yet. We ain't. dead yet. They're playing Le Bomba out. there. You want to know what happened. with the Oilers? The Oilers get very hot. and they get very cold. You just got to. get them once. Congrats to the Oilers. 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars last. night. Obviously, we were paying. attention to the Pacers Knicks game cuz. we were actually there. Got a chance to. catch the highlights. It was only 2-1.
than two empty netters. Yeah. So, score. a little bit different than how the game. actually went, but 4-1 still a massive. win for the Oilers as they move three to. one against the Dallas Stars. And it. does feel like we're uh heading towards. a uh a potential rematch. Yeah, all four. series 3-1 for both in the NBA and both. in the NHL. All right, let's get to a. break. On the other side, we got a. national champion joining us. We can't. wait to talk to him, learn about him and. his family. Can't wait to learn about. lacrosse more. I become an NL guy. Yeah, the kids all know about it. The kids all. know Curse. Believe me, they all love.
watching him. Oh, really? The lacrosse. kids. You're in touch with my son. All. his friends mentioned, they talk about. him. Yeah, for sure. He's got a Lacro family. The Hawks. To. the Hawks do Lacro. I don't doubt that. at all. I bet they beat the [ __ ] out of. people with those sticks. They do. Yes. In a girls game, you're not allowed to, right? Uh, no. Yeah, girls is stupid. They should let them play like the boys. I legit, right? I was watching my. daughter My daughter plays and she wants. to wear pads and hit like everybody. else, but they don't. The girls the. rules are crazy. It's vastly different, right? It's like a vastly different game.
cuz I was watching I was watching the. college cuz the college girls was. happening over the last couple weeks as. well. North Carolina. Congrats to UNCC. So, I was watching it and it was like, "Oh, this is a lot different." And there. wasn't. It was It's like flag football. versus real football. Oh, we'll get into. that, too. Jage got some thoughts on. that. Jage got some flag football. thoughts. AJ. Uhoh. What position you. want to play, Jage? Uh, he wants to play. actual football. I can't hit anybody. It. doesn't matter. I think that's his We'll. talk about that. We'll talk lacrosse. Be. a friend. Tell a friend something nice.

They all. come in and love what Jim Harbaugh is. preaching and everybody in the. building's happy. Everybody's like. excited to be there. First room, first. row, second up here. It is infectious. that they got going on. And how many. owners are spending 300 million on a new.

that. feeling. I think you can give that a. pretty good pause. Yeah. That is incredible. Obviously, national. champion, Michigan man, the greatest. high five. Yeah. Cuz of what you brought. before the high five. [Music]. Hell yeah. He tried to give a handshake to that.
particular high five trophy. Did break. the hand off. We had to put it back on. Yeah. Handshake. Oh no. Oh no. There we go. We have so much respect. You guys just. rolled deep. This is This would be. entourage level, wouldn't it? To be. honest, we didn't know we were going to. be able to get 11 people in here and. then we have 11.
I mean, wow. It looks like a lot of. highlights against one particular team. They played more than one game. For one game, imposing our will. This. sucks. Party in the back. No one knows no one out his husband. This might be close. I love that. Chargers Dean even more. Now. if you were to touch this grass, it. would feel as if the history of football.
was kind of one with your soul, one with. your bald and then you look at the. views, the sand Gabriel Gabriel. mountains with the cotton candy clouds, the way the sun will rise and then the. sun will set and as the sun is setting. night there's going to be a football. game taking place. You're talking about. movie stuff. What do you think it is. about your team in that locker room and. why do you think you guys have been able. to show up every week? You know, I think. the buyin uh on our team is. unbelievable. We talk about a player. team. I think a lot of people say that, but so rarely do you actually see it. Two Goliath Big 10 teams. What a magical.
matchup here in the Rose Bowl. And. watching Ohio State do what they did to. Tennessee, it felt good for a North. It. felt good for the god. Look at those. mountains. Look at those mountains. St. Gabriel Mountain. There's the field. The. San Gabriel San Gabriel. I believe that. means thug Gabriel. [Music]. The. granddaddy of them all, the. 111th Rose Bowl, which will be taking. place on the most beautiful field in the. history of football, the Oregon Ducks, who are the Big 10 champs, will take on. the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The college football playoff is. obviously in the middle of a transition. era, but we go back in time into a movie. like setting to battle in the Big 10 to. see who gets the move on and who goes. home. Our. [Music]. US national. anthem United States of. America has happened. It's a nice.

and what. happens comes up with the hole and the. left. [Music]. James Ohio State is kicking the living. shite out of the Oregon Ducks. If. Jeremiah Smith is on your team, I think. you can win every. game. He's in the 30, the 20, the 10.
[Music]. Taking this one team is playing football. on a level nobody else in the country is. playing right. [Music]. now. So, that's another person. That's. why this game has been. absolutely.
shed. Stop it. Oh my. god. That is so beautiful. You got Matt. Hardy on the left there. I see the 47. Unfortunately, my youngest. son uh puked all over himself, went to. the hospital, so my whole family's not. here anymore to hear that. But I'm. getting some updates every once in a. while. He seems to be doing not much. better. He puked over the whole section. Jeez.
Instant urgent care. Instant hospital. Oh no. What type of sh was he eating? Is. someone making salmon down here? If we. came down here, for those that have never been here, I. would recommend coming and checking it. out. Although this particular game was. absolute. [Music].
shoo. There is a crowd of about 30. people moving through the back end of. the business field here. And in the. middle of it is this black Samoan band. who has become the most famous human on. earth. Great guy. [Applause]. Ladies and gentlemen, the goat Dwayne. the Rock Johnson.
There's. thousands and. thousands of people skipping class to. come see your big ass. Listen, there is. thousands and thousands of you skipping. class. It doesn't matter if they go to. class. Go on. Guts sprouted the tree. Now you got. coconuts. What's the lesson? What does. it take away? Don't mess with Maui when. he's on a breakaway. And the temperature. here on my skin is a map of the. victories I win. Look where I've been to. make everything happen. Look at the me. just tickity tit. That's it. Unreal. Wow. Still got it. It's that thing when I. walked out and we felt this thing. This. is mana. This is mana. It's very, very, very real. And you. could feel it. Little things like I. don't get driven anywhere. I don't want. to get driven anywhere. I don't like. chauffeers. keeps me in my way just a. little grounded. Like I could drive. myself everywhere and not telling some. guy, "Hey, take me here or take me. there." That is something I'm going to.
start saying like, "Yuck." Cuz when they. open your door, you feel so bad. I can. open my own door, dude. They're trying. to be courteous. It's their job. But. also, the day I stop opening my own door. is the day I become big old [ __ ] Here. we go. Sorry. Sorry, Mike. Here's the iconic. sound. You guys know it. This special Terramman toast goes out to. Passion. Congratulations on your show. Very proud of you. Very proud of all you. boys. And to all of you.

It's never this. This back with the boys and you. So, I appreciate it. And this one's to. you. Thank you, boys. Thank you, pal. Cheers. All right, we're going to take. five minute break here. Oh, hold on. One. more. If you.
smell what the Rock is cooking. Hey, let's go. This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. the all-time leading tackler for. the Green Bay Packers. You. can't. stop. Damn it. Your friend, tell a. friend something nice could change their. life. [Applause].
Hello, beautiful people, and welcome. back to our H the boat, the Thunderdome, on this Superstar Wednesday, May 28th, 2025. Hour three of the program starts. now. sports. That threw me off, D. But what did I do? I thought you were I thought I was about. to go right now. Oh [ __ ] You look like. Governor Jeff Landry right now. No, no, no. Oh, I thought that was the And then I.
I'll get it. Maybe I Maybe I for Excuse. me. The hair looks great. Wow. I'm. happy. Why you didn't want that on TV? You said I'm not ready to date. Oh, cuz. you with new hairstyles does become a. thing. You remember when he did the Oh, yeah. You remember that? Look at this. hat here. I mean, this was just on, but. yeah, it is. It is uh pushed back. What. was your tweet after the uh the debut of. a new You ever wonder if anybody will. notice when you change your hairstyle? They do notice, I believe, is what you a. lot of people noticed. Yeah. Super Bowl.
It was the Super Bowl. Super Bowl. Yeah, this hair phenomenal. A Thanks. You look. like a superhero. Working on it. I. appreciate it. Are you going to let it. grow long? I'm trying. I'm going to I'm. going to see. Yeah. I mean, we got. obviously on air in the fall, so I got. to see if it looks Oh, yeah. Time. Hey, he's commentating games. Full slate. CBS. number two overall booth. Congratulations, dude. Yeah, Ian Eagle. is obviously a pillar of sports. commentary, but also very good at his. gig. I think he's going to set you up to. be fantastic. You wanted to call games.
Yeah, I mean, I got the taste of it in. that uh Christmas Day game, Chief. Steelers, and being in the stadium, being around it. Iron Eagle is literally. one of the best in the business. He's. incredible. He's going to make me look. good. So, You're This hair is good for. the booth. Yes, it is. This hair is very. good for the booth. We'll get back to. that after uh our conversation with a. man who is recently a national champion. Recently a record breaker in our. lacrosse. source says are telling us that this guy. is about to be.
very important call. I do not need to. answer that. Well, I do not need to. answer. People are making calls trying. to get me to Madison Square Garden now. You know, think that is what happens. whenever this takes place. It's like I. don't even know if it's possible to. schedule. It's possible, isn't it? Don't. you think it is? I'm like I don't know. A lot of calls. I appreciate everybody. doing that. This man who's about to join. us from what we were being told by our. source says in the lacrosse world is. going to be I forget the number the. fifth o fifth ever uh number one pick in.
the PLL and the NLLL. Fifth time ever. where it would be the number one pick. This guy's style of lacrosse could fit. in box lacrosse and field lacrosse. I. believe it's the two different styles of. lacrosse. PLL Paul Rael big field. Big. field. They're running a lot college. lacrosse. Same thing. NLLL Chase. Frasier. Yeah. Chase a lot of this, a. lot of this lot lot feels like lot of. that. A lot of brawling. This guy's good. for both because he's an absolute dog. a. freight train, if you will, who has the.
skills that could only come from a. family of lacrosse players that have. committed their entire lives to the. sport. And he has been repaid mightily. Going to win the Toarathon. Yes. Has won. the national championship. Ladies and. gentlemen, out of Cornell, CJ Kur. How you doing, bro? Let's go. How we. doing? Thanks for having me. Hey, how. are you doing, man? Where uh where are. you headed right now? Uh and uh is that. the trophy? How's it been? Has it been.
glued to your side since the moment you. won it? Yep. There we go. Yeah. Uh we're. on the way to DC for the TW ceremony. with uh my buddy Walker Walls. All. American. defender, baby. Yeah. Yeah. Love that. Yeah, we're having a blast. Uh how's it. been as a national champion? I've been. told from my. source close to the Cornell camp that. you guys have enjoyed this win and that. you are uh kind of an old school style.
team where obviously a lot of work, a. lot of grit, uh a lot of time and energy. was spent into winning this national. championship not only for Cornell but. the Ivy League uh you know after the ACC. kind of was running rampant with the. entire thing and then you guys enjoyed. the hell out of it and had good team. camaraderie around it. How has it been. as a national champion CJ? Is it. everything that you would hope for it to. be? Yeah, it's been incredible. I mean, we Cornell alone hasn't done it in over. 50 years and um you know, to bring the. trophy back and uh you know, the all the.
support and just seeing everyone over. the past couple days and knowing how. much work everyone's put into it, it's. an incredible feeling and uh it's. special being able to hold this thing. It's a dream come true. You had six. goals in the national championship. uh. that led to you breaking numerous. records or even tying some records that. nobody thought were ever going to be. broken. Absolute dog. Uh and also as we. learned your story and your family. story, your mom's an absolute beast, huh? The mom mama cursed is an absolute. beast over there. Can you talk about her.
a little bit? And can you talk about. your family being a lacrosse a royal. family in lacrosse as a whole? Yeah. No, my mom's the best. She's our rock. She's. um she's been there, supported us every. step of the way. incredible motivator. and um you know all my brothers as well. you know Connor, Colin, Cole, Kaden um g. being able to give them a hug after the. game was was an incredible feeling and. um you know I wouldn't be here without. them. So I'm super thankful for all them. and all the support they've they've.
given me over the years. So your family. fully committed to lacrosse. Did you. guys play any other sports? And uh when. did you figure out like oh this is the. one that Connor Cole Kaden and CJ and uh. uh uh you said right there. I was so. close. Yeah. Anyways, uh when did you. guys decide that lacrosse was going to. be the sport that your entire family was. going to dominate? Yeah. No, we grew up. playing everything um everything you can. imagine. And then um you know our dad. played in college, he played at Ruckers. um and then he coached us when we were. little and you know all our buddies.
always loved lacrosse and um you know. when we were younger that that's what. that's what we love doing and um you. know that's kind of what we what we. gravitate uh gravitated towards when we. were a little kid. So um you know that's. that's just what we love and um yeah we. we always play lacrosse. Rest in peace. to your father. He's looking down. watching you guys dominate the sport and. I assume he's incredibly proud and happy. with what the boys have accomplished. Your brother plays at Ruckers I do. believe currently. So obviously the. family is being represented in the sport. mightily. Go ahead AJ. Yeah CJ, what can.
you take us back to those I know you. guys had some battles in the backyard. I've read about where you guys just go. beat the hell out of each other uh with. those lacrosse sticks and everything. What was that like and how did that kind. of propel you into the trajectory you're. on? Obviously number one picked the. water dogs everything that you've just. done like how when you look back did. that prepare you for everything going. on? Yeah 100%. I mean, growing up. having, you know, my older brothers. never take it easy on me. Um, you know, and then having Kaden as my younger. brother and trying to, you know, be hard. on him. Um, you know, that's what.
motivated me to get here. I mean, that's. the reason why I'm here, you know, playing with them and especially being. that little kid dreaming about playing. on a big stage like this and, um, you. know, just competing with them and. seeing how hard they worked. Um, you. know, and I wanted to be just like them. and, um, you know, super thankful that, you know, they taught me everything they. know and that's the reason why why I'm. here. So, um, you know, I love them to. death for everything that they've given. me. And I love that you continue to. compete while getting your ass beat, you. know, like that is, uh, that's a that's. a little brother syndrome in in an. entire thing. And if you keep going, obviously the benefits will be there.
from all of it. Uh, why do you think. your style is good for the PL and the. NLLO? We looked it up. Only five people. in the history of lacrosse have been the. projected number one overall picks for. both. Very different styles of play, I. do believe. Why do you think that is the. case for your style of play? And have. you always been like this? Yeah, I mean, uh, box lacrosse alone is. probably, you know, the most physical. and the hardest game there version of. lacrosse there is that's out there. And, um, you know, being able to play that in. Canada a couple summers ago and and.
learning how hard how how difficult that. is. And then, um, you know, being able. to, you know, play in college and, um, you know, learning the game at at the. highest highest level. Um, you know, it. you got to figure out ways to score. You. got to figure out different ways to. play. And, um, you know, you can't do it. the same way. Hey, you got to bring a. different version um you know on game. day. And so um you know I think that's. why the game is so great cuz you can be. so creative. You can have so much fun. with it. But um you know there's so many. styles out there that that could be. successful and um you know just trying. trying to play the the version that's.
best for me and that's just you know. playing hard and um trying to find the. back of the net. Yeah. I'll just score. six goals in a national championship. Yep. No big deal. Biggest game. Okay. Need to play the best. You got it. How. many times you guys buy a touchdown? Walker Wolves in the back in defense. doing all American. He's big. Yeah, the. big fell big pock. He's got one of the. long sticks. Oh, yeah. He's got one of. those long sticks. He know we heard. about the cursed boys beating the [ __ ]. out of each other in the backyard. You. should have seen what Walls was doing. He's chopping down trees when they Yeah,
he was. He was chopping it down as a. boy. He was really. uh Connor has a question for you, boys. Yeah, CJ. Hopefully I don't screw up. this name, but I believe George Boyardi. is a big story with the Cornell lacrosse. team. They kind of talked about it on. the broadcast about how you guys when. you're in the gym, you know, working. out, you don't do 20 reps, you do 21. Can you just talk about him and kind of. the importance and the motivating factor. uh of his passing 21 years ago? And also. uh did you get to speak to his family. after the game? Was there anything with.
them uh once you guys secured the. national championship? Yeah, George Bardi is um you know what. Cornell lacrosse is all about. Uh you. know, you think about you know all the. years that you know everyone has put on. the jersey and um you know all the long. red line that we say um with all the. alums and um you know George is the. ultimate teammate. you know, he's the. best leader and motivator everyone. anyone's ever been around. And um you. know, he unfortunately passed away on. our field, Shookoff Field. Um you know, block trying to block a shot and um you.
know, for this to be the 21st. anniversary of George and be able to get. it done and bring this back to Ithaca is. is incredible. And um you know, to get. all those hugs and text messages now. from all the alums to see his family. hold the trophy, um you know, it's just. an incredible feeling. and you know you. everyone who's ever had the opportunity. to step inside our locker room and and. touch the sign and you know be a part of. this special program you know everyone. is just so happy and you know we did it. for George we did it for coach Moran um.
we did it for a many as well um you know. we got it done we brought it back that's. awesome story yeah I love where we pay. tribute you know good things happen now. uh lacrosse feels like a tight group. obviously still paying tribute there and. you know I watched Veno know celebrate. this Cornell team all year and the. alumni are kind of I think they're. always behind or have become fully. behind this particular team at Cornell. feels like a beautiful thing. Couldn't. imagine how tight the team is especially. with Walker Walls on the.
back boys. Yeah, boys. Uh that entire. thing we don't know the ins and outs of. the culture there. So JJ has a question. for you. Uh this road trip looks. incredible. Obviously you just won a. national championship. You got your boy. Walker driving. Walker driving. Who's on. the aux? What's on the aux? And what. kind of snacks do we got? Good question. Yeah. No, Walker's taking care of all. that. Um, just made a big uh pit stop at Sheets.
Picked up a couple things. Chicken. tenders, whatnot. But, uh, order. Did we order? Did we do the. MTO order? Yeah. Yeah. Give it. Yeah. Here. We'll get We'll get. There it is. Yeah. Walker knows the deal. here. Where you from, Walker? Richmond, Virginia. Okay, nice. I like. that you like Sheets. Just want to let. you know that. Sheets is obviously an. incredible staple. What are you playing. on the Aux, brother? What are we. listening to? Uh, I don't know. What we're trying to. do is put together a uh one of those.
power hours with the mixes from the. commentators this weekend. That's what. some of the national championship teams. do. That's what we really need to get. done. If anyone out there, how's it been. the last few days? You boys have been. celebrating there. I don't really know. Cornell types. I apologize. What is the. uh what is the celebration cuz I play I. heard you guys played in obviously. Foxboro was packed packed. That was uh. insane. I assume the support from school. was pretty wild. Has the celebration. been awesome? I assume it has been. Yeah, it's been incredible. Uh you know,
we got back to Ithaca um after the game. and um you know, we're able to rip it up. with with just her teammates and then. yesterday we had graduation. All the. seniors parents were there and um you. know, we had a little parade too which. was which was epic. But um it's been an. unreal couple hours. Not the boys really. haven't got much sleep cuz you know we. just been [ __ ] ripping it. I think you have to. I think you have to. pal. All right. Enjoy the travels. Enjoy. the chicken tendies and uh congrats on a. historic season. Congrats on the.
national championship and uh we can't. wait to see what you go on to do, brother. Ah, thank you. Really. appreciate it. You guys are the best. Let's go. Let's go. Another champion. CJ Walker Walls. Did he say they're. going to do a power hour with with the. commentary? That's pretty. He said I. think they they said other teams have. done this in the past. We got to ask the. Kavanaaugh. Yeah. I wonder if they've. done it. Yeah. I wonder who created the. idea. Has that been passed along with. the trophy. You get the trophy and on. the bottom of it there's like a little.
piece of paper. Hey, cool thing to do. with this. Have a power hour with. commentators. That's great. Power hour, right? That was never my gig. It's a. good time. I was a beer trucker. True. It's gets the conversations rolling. I. mean, you get to the back half. Yeah. But also, I did get bloated. Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. No doubt. You got to be You. got to be play Edward 40 hands. That's. what I thought they'd be doing. I didn't. mind that cuz I can make things. disappear quickly. And I do have a. active bladder, so that was going to. motivate me quicker. But the issue is. the more you put down, the quicker it. has to come out. So, you got to really.
have a mental battle there with Edy. What's the power hour? Power hour is. like shot a beer every 60 seconds. Yeah. Every minute. And normally there's like. a Oh, shot shot of beer. Comes out like. six and a half. Yeah. Six, seven beers. An hour. Yeah. In one hour. Unless you. do a double. And it there's clever, you. know, music where like minute long as. soon as a song change. Okay. You take a. shot. So a lot of people took a lot of. pride in the the list the playlist and. that entire thing. So they're using. commentators calls. That's so sick. So. like that's a pretty that's a lot.
That would be a lot of I don't know if I. can do my whole career. Oh J. the amount of those moments. They could. have just shifted to different and. turned down for once. You know what I. mean? In the moment now. They might do. it for your hair. They might. I'm. telling you, this is this might be the. best. Going back to the hat. You're not losing it. Your hair losing. the hair. It's throw it out. I don't. think you can go much longer though. Just No. If you're going to be on TV, you're going to have this middle stage.
This is my second day ever trying this. this. So, I don't I got to figure it. thought about doing a ponytail in the. booth. Uh, that will not happen. Exactly. I mean, it is tough to to Pat's. point. Once the sides get to a certain. point, it's it's hard. It's pretty. brutal. I do like the flow out of the. back like some good letters. Yeah, Mark. did have a good ponytail. He had good. hair, strong hair in San Yeah, Sanchez. had a ponytail. You put that thing on. the side sometimes, too. This looks. really good, though. I think it shapes. your gigantic head, right? Cuz you got.
one of those big ones. You got one of. those big melons. large head. That's. partially why I keep lifting cuz I feel. like if I let my body get too small, alien type. Yeah, I'm going to look a. little weird. Your head's going to be so. big. Yeah, like an alien freak. But I. think that's good hair right there. I. think I don't think you would look like. a freak, but I I I think uh like Connor. implied there. But I do think that looks. good. I think that'd be good for the. booth. I'm excited for you to be in the. booth, too. That's a lot of travel, bro. AJ, isn't it? I mean, AJ and I have. called two, three games together, and my. only thought is this is so much time. doing all this stuff. Dude, you travel.
you travel four times a week. Who what. are you talking about? Yeah, but my I. you might be going to New York in the. morning. Like you don't know. Like you. you probably an afternoon if I had a. guest. We're looking at this quick. turnaround here. Got a lot of. conversations going on. Go a baby. Go a. wife, go a family, go business, go got a. lot of things going on in entire next. week. But I signed next week is absurd. I don't even want to get into it. Next. week's travel schedule. Absurd. But I. signed up for it knowing that your thing. was like I don't want to travel. remember cuz you're only doing like six. CBS's or seven CBS's cuz you didn't want. to have to travel around for it all.
Then you jump into commentating, it's. like that's a lot of It is. It is. Yeah. And ownership. Yeah. I'm looking forward. to it. I'm looking forward to it. I love. being in the stadium. Like I I love the. NFL. I love the football. I love being. actually there. I love the audience. I. love the players. I love So, I'm really. looking forward to So, the Netflix thing. Christmas was like Yeah, it was. definitely an eye opener. Yeah. being. because I haven't been back in stadiums. really much like that and it was just. there's a great vibe about it. I just I. really enjoy it and I love talking ball.
I love having the elongated time to. discuss the game and to talk people. through what's going on and to talk them. through the situations and what coaches. and players might be thinking. I'm. really looking forward have you been. practicing? Have you been doing fake. games? I mean I did the one last year. obviously I've been watching a ton of. games. I sit down talk with the. producers talk with Ian and we're going. through it all. Yeah, I mean a lot of it. comes down to making sure you know the. rules, the situations, things like that. Cuz the actual football stuff is is a. stuff from your own head, but b from. conversations you have with.
coordinators. Do you already have your. schedule? I mean, I know we're we're the. we're the second booth. So, we it. doesn't come you don't know your. schedule until sometimes the week. before. So, the answer is no. Correct. Thank you. I mean, I know when I know. when I'm going to be gone. I just don't. know. What day you getting in town? You. getting in there like Thursday or. Friday? Sometimes it could be a long. weekend. No. Um, Saturdays have been. great. They're very good with me. Um. Oh, good. Lose Saturday and back out. Sunday. I'm trying. They fall out all. the time. I mean, it's awesome for us. that you're in the booth, honestly, cuz. sometimes Yeah, I'm excited. Like some.
of the booths are a little difficult to. sh the reason why they're shy. Give me. Give me your Give me your top things you. like about a commentator and your top. two things. We have no idea cuz if you. might do something in your own way. that's better than what everybody else. is doing. It's hard to judge. Sometimes. I like somebody doing something and then. somebody else trying it, I hate it. So. it's like I think you got to find if you. care if we feel like you care. I think. for me at least when I see like, "Hey, this dude loves ball." Like I can I can. get into it for sure. That's why people. rip on Romo now. They loved him early. on, but then now he kind of is just like.
freewheeling and people are like, "Oh, this guy doesn't [ __ ] prepare at all. He doesn't play golf all week and gets. out there." And that's the negative. about Tony, which there always is going. to be whenever you're calling games, there's always going to be negative. about you, by the way, cuz you're going. to have to call the worst moment in a. team's history. So, you're going to be. the one that's going to be the voice. over that. You're going to be the one. delivering the news to the fans that. love team that, hey, they're [ __ ] up. here. As somebody that has pointed out. some things to a team in the city that. I'm in, a team that I'm pretty close to, their fans got m pissed. Their fans are. still pissed. Colts fans are still mad.
at me for pointing out the very obvious. about, hey, this is not how a. professional football team operates. Very obvious, very lowlevel professional. football conversation, like very, very. low. and uh they get pissed at me. because I'm the one delivering that. news. That is what you're signing up. for. You know, that is something that. you're signing up for. So, I think what. you have to remain uh is is confident. because you're going to want to change. with what people are saying to you. But. no matter how much you change, you're. going to piss people off. Stick to your. guns for sure. Like Brady early on was. not good. I think it was pretty clear. I.
don't think he was comfortable. Yeah. Yeah. whether it was comfortability or. just not knowing what when things were. going to happen and how much time he. had, but like he just stayed Tom Brady. and then by the end of it, he was really. really good at broadcasting. Andrew JJ. Watt just like he's Tom Brady like no. and AJ I don't know if I'm supposed to. say this or not, but uh it's your sport. So like uh Gorms used to tell this to me. whenever I was getting started. He's. like nobody can tell you how to talk. about your sport. Like it's your sport.
Who's going to tell you your sport. better than you? Well, this isn't an. interesting thing to talk about in your. sport. Well, if if I think it's. interesting, it is like because it is. your sport. Like, you are one of the. pillars in the history of the game. You'll be a first ballot hall of famer. So, whatever you find interesting about. the sport, I think you should hammer. home. Uh but you shouldn't alienate uh. the doofuses. You know what I mean? Like. that is something to think. Yeah, I'm. very well aware of that. I think that uh. being able to talk to the audience like. you're a fan as well and being just as. excited to AJ's point, the passion, the. energy, but also interjecting that.
experience and that knowledge that you. have and some of that insider ball and. that you have. They're going to come to. the they're going to do booth shots. Yeah. All I know is some booth shots on. JJ's. Call a Steelers game. I'm going to. need you to kill TJ. Yeah. If he. deserves it, let's go ahead and talk. back. Can't just be like, "Oh, my. brother is freaking awesome." No matter. what I say in that game, I will be. considered biased. And no matter like. there's there's definitely it's to your. point, every single game you're going to. get crushed on social media, possibly. from both sides and that's just the way.
that it goes. I'm crushed. Well equipped. to handle that now. Crushed. Oh yeah. Yeah. Like you just look any. commentator's name. Yeah. Crushed. I. mean, no matter what you do, I mean, Pat. gave away $2 million and got crushed. But I mean, with you, like you actually. brought it up before the Steelers Chiefs. game. You're like, I'm gonna You You. said it in the booth before the game. started like, "Well, it's gonna be fun. because no matter what I say today, like, it's gonna turn out bad for me. because TJ's playing playing the game.". And I'm not going to act like he's not. my brother like that. Like, I'm not. we're not going to pull wool over each.
other's eyes here. I'm not a [ __ ]. Like, I know that. Yeah. But what if you. say, you know, this is why that contract. issue is such a big deal. You know, TJ's. clearly not as comfortable. His off season was his off season was a. little bit off. He's not that hurt. It's. not off. I can tell you that. I was just. watching him train the other day. He. looks Okay, we got a little info. Okay, we got a little info. He looks good. He. looks very good. Let's go to hammer. Todd. Tone. Tee looks good. That's what. we're here. And he's training just like.
anybody else that could potentially be a. Pittsburgh Steeler. Tone. Tee always. looks good. That's uh that's never going. to be a question. I I knew there was. going to be a little more uh more piss. in his vinegar this off seasonason. It. felt like um you know, Yep. little piss. little more piss in his vinegar. In his. vinegar. vinegar. Not vinegar in his piss. No. Yeah, he has vinegar in the in the. shelf. He takes that out and he says, "Let's have a big offseason pisses in. it." Puts it right back up there. Bingo. You guys never heard that one before. That's weird. Um, no, just because, you.
know, the season before he definitely. should have won defensive player of the. year and got robbed in that one. Uh, didn't want didn't win last year. And, you know, there was it it got a little. bit loud over the last few games. Uh, so. I I knew Te was going to come in and get. ready, especially, you know what, he's. got Mac's back, too. Mason and him had a good conversation. this last summer and said, "Mason, I'm. going to need you." And TJ said, "I got. you, dog." Mason knew this last summer. he was going to be this, you know, this. this current summer we're in. Oh, a. couple. We're not in the summer yet. Uh, Memorial Day just happened this summer, brother. Okay. So, you're saying two.
days ago? Yeah. Mason and TJ had a. conversation. Yeah. I got an inside. source. TJ has goatee. Is that what. we're into? That would be cool. A. goatee? Yeah. Like goatee. Well, got. mustache now, but hadn't seen it. Oh, he's he's even paying attention to. Pittsburgh Steelers at this point. His. brother's on damn team. Who would you. rather have, JJ? Someone who's come in. prepared, you know, made flashc cards. for the team, been there with the wide. receivers and stuff like that. Or. someone who's squirting squirt guns at. Lola Palooa. He's not palooa. He's. having a good time at a concert for Mike.
Stut. Yeah. Eating bark. No, chewing. bark. Terry Bradshaw says after he hears. this guy talk, it makes him want to chew. bark, which maybe that's good for the. health. We don't know. Protein. We have. no idea what he's indicating. official. Oh yeah. What do you think about true. bark? Now which hypothetical quarterback would. you rather have? Now the one that's at. Law of Blues are playing with squirt. guns is a first bout of famer. Very very. good. Probably going to make the team. better, but you know comes with some. baggage maybe.
What fake? What's the baggage? He wants. to wear number 12. Mhm. Well, oh, is. that why Terry's bad? Uh, I don't think TB is going to go down. easily in that entire thing. Terry. Bradshaw won a lot for the city of. Pittsburgh. Four Super Bowls, my friend. How come we never really I don't know. Hear about it. That's a great question. Actually from Pittsburgh, grew up in. Pittsburgh. Have no idea why Terry. Bradshaw's not more seven was better. So, okay. But he's free to say that. because of how I mean that was his.
generation, too. Yeah. But in. Pittsburgh, you would think that there. would be like a hey Terry Bradshaw, you. know, that type of thing. But instead, it's like Steel Curtain, everything they. have back. You remember what Lynn used. to do in Swan? This guy's unbelievable. Yeah. Like that Franco, the. immaculate everybody except the. quarterback. I mean, that's what four. Super Bowls, right? Yeah. And I mean, you can look at his highlights today and. they age well. Like what guys are doing. today? He put his finger on the top of.
that ball cuz his hands are so large. Damn Hawks. Let alone the entire story. of him going on to be one of the biggest. personalities in the history of sports. Yep. But instead, Pittsburgh hates him. I don't think they hate him. He hates. Pittsburgh. I don't think he hates I. don't think he goes back, does he? Yeah. I don't know if he hates No, there was. the end of his career that was a bit. sour cuz uh he had an injury and you. know, he thought Steelers organization. might not have done right by him and he. didn't speak well a couple times about, you know, it's it's a he didn't speak. well. 50 years ago, you know, Terry.
Terry didn't say people don't forget AJ. TB didn't say good things, you know, on. the way out. That was half a century. ago. Him and Chuck still didn't really. get along at the end, you know, was the. rumor. So Chucky. Null, I mean, and the beginning Chuck. Null brought us four Super Bowls, by the. way. So. So Chuck Null was at the wheel. We all. know it. All right. this. Okay, so. there's a Tom Brady, Bill Bichc. situation in Pittsburgh way back and. just the generations of Yanzers are like.
we don't speak at Terry. We like I just. can't think of another like Aman Cowboys. Marino. He didn't win a Super Bowl. He's. royalty on TV. Favre Green Bay, no. matter what he does, he's still royalty. I would say that A-Rod like I mean I. can't think of another quarterback. multiple championship. with that type of relationship. Ladies. and gentlemen, uh TB, thanks for what. you did for I wasn't alive. Didn't. really talk about it much, but the. immaculate reception is right there in. the airport. Thank you, Frank. Ball on.
the ground and all. No, no. Well, you. can put a playing card underneath there, brother. Yeah, I'm sure. All right. Thanks, Tone. Really good work out of. you today. He's also somewhat forgetful. If you remember when we had we were. supposed to have him on the show at. Super Bowl week and he spent the next. like four days just walking around the. convention center trying to Where the. where the hell's McAfei set at? He they. couldn't find him is what we were told. Yes, correct. We had a camera set up in. radio row because we decided not to go. down to radio row because the year prior. we had four people in a two foot by two.
foot space at radio row. So pointless to. go down to radio row but we'll set up a. camera down there. You see we beat the. game two foot by two foot space. We'll. put a camera there. Then we can just. stop people when they come by. Got Terry. Bradshaw tomorrow. Huge. Yes. Can't. wait. Probably would have talked about. this we were just talking about in there. and then five minutes before he supposed. to come on. We can't find Terry. Bradshaw. What do you mean you can't. find Terry? He was here. We can't find. him. And then they were told that Terry. couldn't find the camera. So, we thought.
there was a chance he was just wandering. around Radio. They found him later. He's. like out in the like the middle of a. field just like throwing a football. Yeah, exactly. He's great on Fox. Has been for so long. when he traveled. I think he went to. Japan. Good actor. Yeah, he's great. actor. He showed his cheeks in that Matt. McConn movie. Is that why they don't. like him? I think Pittsburgh people. would be cool with him showing cheeks. definitely in a McConnA movie. Pittsburgh people ain't afraid. I. genuinely we brought that up this. morning like why is Terry Bradshaw not I.
let and everybody's like he did. something. We'd have to talk to an old We'd have to. talk to an oldtime that was legit. And. then Tim Tim actually comes in. I go, "Hey, how come Terry Ba? He was good to. me." Yeah, I like him. I was moving. somebody into the building that he. worked at. He came down him and his uh. lady at the time something something. Starbucks and uh he said hello wished me. luck and uh he's always done right by me. and then Tim just I don't know why we. don't talk about him. yeah let's call Kaboli let's call Mark. Kaboli Kabali will have an answer call.
you know Kaboli how do you feel about. Kaboli I don't know well enough to have. hates Mark. Kaboli that is what I just heard there. uh you know he's a friend of the program. so he's correspondent of the program it. is 245 He might be on second. nap. [ __ ] He might be in the middle in the. middle of second nap. I'm not sure. Well, siesta is right. Second second. nap, third lunch. You know, you might. Well, they're right. They're right. You.
know, they coincide. If he has a. mayonnaise sandwich on deck, like ladies. and gentlemen, joining us now, correspondent for our program, also a. WWE. columnist, ladies and gentlemen, Marky. Hey, Mark. Mark, they said you were. potentially on your second nap, third. lunch. Nice to see you out at work. What. are you doing right now, brother? Of. course. I'm actually. uh watching probably something I'm not. supposed to be watching inside the. Steelers facility. So, flip the camera. Who is it? Yeah. Flip the.
Here we go. I don't think you should. show us quick. Probably shouldn't. Zoom. in. No, I can't zoom in. They're. probably yelling at me. Don't zoom in. You got it. No, you're good. No. Closer. to the teeth. That's where I can't quite see those. hairs. Yeah, you can't see the hairs. Hold on. Wait. Wait. I can tell you who. it is. It was Will Howard. Oh, Will. Hard. We like seeing Will Hard went from. Will Hard to your teeth. And now get a.
chance, man. There he is. What the There. he is. Hey, thank you, Kaboli, for the. onfield. Boots on the ground with that. baby will. All right, keep it down. Keep. it down. Hey, quick question for you, Mark here. Not about lowhired or the. current Steelers team or TJ Watts. Yeah. Situation with JJ being here. Anyways, Kabul, hey, how come Terry Bradshaw's. never talked about like with the. Pittsburgh Steelers? We were trying to. figure it out. We couldn't find an. answer. We like me, Tone, Nick were just. like like never he did something. That's.
what everybody always says. He's like. one of the most famous NFL pundits. Won. four Super Bowls in Pittsburgh. I think. anytime they show highlights, obviously. it's Pittsburgh Steelers highlights. And. it's like I don't think I remember. anybody talking about him growing up. like Terry Bradshaw is a guy that we. love around here. Why is that? Well, you have to be old first of all. I. I think people still talk about him, but. you have to be of a certain age group to. talk about him in this city. for some of. the some of the actually people in the.
city really didn't appreciate him not. showing up uh for uh I believe the. chief's funeral way back in the day as. well. So some people might not like him. as that. But a lot of people still. believe that he is maybe the best. Steelers quarterback of all time even. though Ben came in and probably super. surpassed that a little bit. So, I don't. know if I'm answering your question here. right now, but uh I think it's more of a.
regional thing here. He probably be. should be getting more publicity than he. did just with the four Super Bowls in. six years. Yes, especially in. Pittsburgh. Like the amount of I don't. want to say autograph signings, but you. paint like everything that you would. think would happen. Never really saw him. back around. Would like to let Terry. know. Hey, thanks for what you did for. back in the day, buddy. Oh, yeah. Not. great at not showing up. Maybe there was. a scheduling conflict or who knows what. the case is, but all right, Kaboli, we. appreciate you. Tell Will hard. We. appreciate him. Yeah, I think he's in a.
little bit of a meeting right now, so I. can't scream at him. So, smart, smart, smart. Thank you. Is Aaron there? Is. Aaron Rogers there? I heard he's not. showing up at OTAAS. Oh, he's not on. team. He's not at OTAAS, but apparently he was. staying at a really uh cheesy hotel in. the Strip District over the weekend. So. yeah, of course. Call her in a radio. station soon. Okay. All right, ladies. and gentlemen, Mark Bully. Thank you. Cheesy hotel guy down in a strip. district. Nice district. Okay. Strip.
district's very nice. That was the rumor. of someone apparently saw him at a hotel. staying in the strip over the weekend. At a cheesy. What does that mean? I. think maybe a not so nice hotel. Probably a hotel. They probably meant. sleazy. Yeah. Oh, so he just said. cheesy. They meant sleazy down the. strip. Is there I thought they redid the. strip. There still Yeah, but they got. that indoor putt butt bar. That place is. sweet. That place was sweet. Got a cool. soccer field there. Really? What is it? Indoor soccer stadium. No,
you're talking about Northshore over. there. Hi, Mark. That ain't the strip. district. I didn't I was just saying. they have a cool soccer field. I didn't. believe that it was real the first time. you Down Station Scare. Yeah, dude. Yeah, sorry. Down Station Scare you're. talking about. Not Northshore. Okay. Let. me tell you about Station Scare. All. right. used to be the greatest haunted. anything in the history. Okay. You go. down there, it was like a state fair, but it was haunted. They had this uh. clown that they would put a microphone. in front of. Greatest [ __ ] talker in the. history. Do you remember this guy, Nick?
This clown that used to [ __ ] talk. He. should be a professional. I don't know. what he does. This clown, soon as you. walk in, some sort of athletic feet, he's sitting at the top of it, creepy. looking, obviously. Incredibly creep. chirping, talking [ __ ] to every single. person in there. Then obviously you got. a haunted house down there. You got to. sign waiverss that are going to touch. you. They're going to Yep. Mhm. Free. rain. Yep. Boy. One, two. Yeah. They're. going to get you. Yeah. I was never. allowed to go because of that reason. Now they turn sign. Parents wouldn't No. Coach wouldn't let me go. He didn't want.
me getting stabbed by one of the. lunatics down here. Yeah. Which they. would try to get you cuz their goal was. to make you scared. And if you weren't. scared from a punch or maybe a shoulder, there's a chance they were going to gut. you. Well, coach, that would scare you a. little bit. Coach then would have to go. kill somebody again. You know, he didn't. want to do that. Okay. Coach didn't kill. anybody. You remember when Station Scare. had one of the greatest cowboy bars, country bars of all time? What was that. place called? Something Saloon. Nick Saddle. Saddidge. Yeah, there it. is. Not a saloon at all. Saddle Ridge. was the name of the place. Tequila. Cowboy. Tequila Cowboy is a good spot.
That's on the Northshore. That is. Station Square. Station Square used to. be a great spot. Not everybody wanted to. go as much as me. I always wanted to end. up at Station Square. I wanted to go. Station Scare every week that our last. uh our last St. Patty's Day there. You. wanted to go so bad. So bad. Get me down. the station scare cuz they got that. country boy. That homeless guy. Well, brought the homeless guy out with us. He. had a great St. Patrick's Day. Probably. the greatest holiday he's ever had in. his entire life. Last one, right? Don't. doubt it. Nick got left on the curb for. the homeless guy. That's not true. Nick. was with another homeless guy needs a.
ride. Sorry, Nick. That's not true. We actually didn't get. in the cars. That's tough. Cars came. outside. We chose not to get in cars. We're going to hang out with this. homeless guy. Nick didn't get the. message. Oh man, Nick was with a. different group. He was a different. time. It was a different thing going on. The group he was with I I I wasn't. signing up for. How did the homeless guy. earn the spot? He's right there in the. corner. Had sign. Not going to lie, it's. for beer. And I said, "You got it. All. the beer you want today, buddy. Come. on." Joined us. Their buddy Joe Hadley.
of Joe Hadley. No, that is not that is. not true. Anyways, uh Station Scare used. to be a great spot. Northshore is a. great spot. Uh Station Scare is still. good. They got that stadium down there. Strip District though. Aaron Rogers just. hanging out in Strip District. I guess. that would be a place that Aaron Rogers. would go to, the Strip District. Certainly believable. AJ, why is he just. He's just hanging around Pittsburgh, but. he doesn't want to sign with the. Steelers. I don't understand. He just. wants to see the I mean, yeah, that I. guess so. I guess he is he really just. checking everything out? I don't know. That is Is there any like video footage.
of him at the script district? Call it a radio show. Call in DV said. he's seen Aaron Rogers this weekend. Maybe he shows up at OTAAS. and he. doesn't show up at OTAAS for a team that. he's not signed to and people say he's. not even at OTAAS. And then the reason. why he didn't sign with the team is. because he doesn't want to go to OTAAS. Exactly. It's a wonderful little story. Uh speaking of stories, anytime JJ Watt. joins us, we like to have the people ask. the questions that they they've been. yearning to ask JJ since the first time.
they seen him. Maybe it was hard knocks. when he took over. Maybe it was when he. was scoring touchdowns. Maybe it was. when he was creating a Hall of Fame. career. Maybe it was when he debuted a. new hairstyle, whether at the Super Bowl. or right here today. This one. Yeah. Top. notch. A+. Ladies and gentlemen, it's. time for # ask J. What do you say? # ask. J. Nailed it. How many people call you. Jagege on the dayto-day? Um, what' you. say?
Two. Okay, let's go to some hash just me. more today. Yeah. Me and Teach. Yeah. What's Derek call you? Jage. That's two. DJ. Uh Jage. Told. I haven't seen them. today. So you're the first This crew is. the first one to call me Jage today. Okay. How many people in your life call. you J? Generally two since I'm here today. Three. What about the wife though? Wife. doesn't go J. He does not call me J. No.
That would be great. How about dad? I. seen dad. Dad looks like he can hammer. some beers. Oh yeah, hammer some beers. He's never had about 40 50 beer. Go give. me another [ __ ] beer. He's not. He. looks like hard. He looks like hard. He does not drink. Does he smoke weed? No. Diet code firefighter. Firefighter. Okay. So that that makes I'm so sorry. Now Brandon, fact he's a firefighter and. doesn't drink. I think that is a little. surprising. But also thank you for your. commitment to serving your community, Mr. Watt. He doesn't say J get over.
here. No, no, he he actually does say. Jage. Yeah, he does. Okay, I'm happy we. don't like that. I got to do. investigative journalism with every. [ __ ] question. Okay. I just want to. let you know that. J, what do people. call you? Uh, PMF. Cafe. Yeah. Patty Patty Cake. Patty Mac. I like. Patty Mac is cool. I've been called. Patty Mac before. I've been called Patty. Mac before. PM Patty Macaffy. Macaffy a lot. People call me Macaffy a.
lot. uh stadium MC's actually for my. entire rookie year. Call me Macaffy. which is really cool games. Your rookie. year. Oh wait. Well, first of all, they. called me Adam Venitary because I was. kicking off and they didn't know it was. me. They called me Adam Venitary. That. was pretty cool. Good little pop in some. of the places. I was a Hall of Famer out. there. Actually gave credit to Adam for. one of my onside kicks which was sweet. actually to think about. I'm getting. called Adam Venitary. And then other. places would call me Macaffy. I think. Houston did it one time in the punt. number one Patrick McCaffy. I'm like a. [ __ ] a Yeah. In the NFL. Thought I.
made myself here, did not. PM is a new. one. Never been called PM. PM is pretty. fired, though. PM's good. What are you going to call me, J? Uh, I. like Patty Mack. I think I'm going to go. with that now. I like Patty. Every. conversation we have, you're going to. say Patty Mac. Should I? I think it's. going to be tough to commit to. The. people that try to call me Patty Mack, then they realize difficult one. There's. a lot. Yeah, I [ __ ] up. Would it annoy. you or would you be on board? I'd be. cool with it, but I think you would feel. annoyed saying it. Okay. You know what I. mean? Yeah. Let's give it a shot. I. mean, if it fails, it fails. All right, sounds good. Jetty.
MacJ. Let's get to him. This one's from. Jacob. Slife228. Hash ask Jagege. Any hunter. wipe shits lately? Official AJ Hawk told. me to ask you, says Jacob. I don't know. if Jacob is potentially AJ's neighbor or. maybe his burner, but would like to know. if you've uh potentially just rubbed. your cheeks dry lately. I mean, I think. AJ and I obviously have we're on one. side of this and you somehow are on the. other side of this, but I think we. represent most normal people out there. that Yeah. Every now and then, once.
maybe twice a year, there's a there's a. messy situation. 100 wipes. That was. just you saying, well, I mean, that's. just that that's insane. You mean like. 50? There's a lot. I mean, yeah, I don't. know. I don't count how many guess we. don't count. It's it's a significant. situation. Two over 30. I have a. question for you cuz four. Here we go. Five. Son of a [ __ ] Six. Six. Seven. Eight. Yeah. Nine. Actually takes longer.
cuz you got to get it off the spool and. you got to do 10. That's only one tenth. of what you said. You're spending that. much time wiping your ass after you. poop. There's a once in a year. situation. maybe after a, you know, a. heavy bean beans and tacos or something, you know, uh, that just gets real real. wild. Gets real out there and it's. tough. But no, I would say the standard. and dude wipes has helped significantly. Learned how to use a bedet, which is. cool cuz that helps significantly. Yeah,
those are those are a real deal. Big big. fan. If you can afford a bedet in your. house, you do the bedet in your house. Yeah. Took me too long to figure them. out. I I was there was water going a lot. of different ways and I didn't know how. to operate. Yeah. Are you like AJ? Are. you sitting down to pee too with the. bet? So it's coming in coming out. Yeah, you have. Slater a bedet. The bedet are great. You. got to Vegas or something. You end up in. like a sweet. Yeah, it was a drinking. fountain. Well, I think that's what Jade. was doing at the beginning. Did it sound. like? No, I I I didn't understand cuz.
like you got to it's hard to turn it on. You can't turn on before you get on it. cuz then it sprays and it sprayed those. ones. I I don't know. It's a wild. situation. I now have one of those cool. Japanese toilets. Those are awesome. with the buttons. It goes the other way. Yeah. What are you talking about? Like. it's got a remote control technology. I. can a lot of different [ __ ] with the. toilet. It's Congratulations taking our. job. Hey, you won't know I'm rich, but. there'll be signs. Did they tell you. Yeah, there'll be signs. You walk. through the house. This guy got a. Japanese uh bedet, I believe, is what.
that is. Got his own remote. Opens and. closes on its own. Seat's heated. As. you're walking up to it, the the seat. opens, it's heated, and it pre-pays the. bowl. It's doesn't have any clingers in. there. Does it call you change? Hello. Hello. So, do you have a video game controller. where you can move it up and down? Yeah, you can do I mean you can move it up and. down. You can choose the the strength of. it. No, it does not speak to you. I have. seen ones recently which I don't fully.
understand. They'll analyze what's going. in. Oh, really? Yeah. It'll analyze your. [ __ ] Wait, what? The poop? Well, the. poop is I thought you'd have one. medical. What is it? Is it sifting. through there? I don't know what you. need. I don't know. I assume you have. it. I think it has fingers that come out. from the toilet and sensors and then it. goes back up and then it sprays on the. fing. The poop though is something you can get. a lot of like tell us from, right? I may need to look into that if it's.
[ __ ] dissecting my poop and telling. me what what exactly is in there. You. also need to think about having this. Japanese uh toilet that's coming. I got. to get you one. I mean one here would be. I feel like necessary obviously past not. one in here but you know there's more. there's a question no only that it's. just I don't know if you understand what. happens with that guy talk out there. okay talk destroys bathrooms not just. toilets entire bathrooms the guy shuts. it down out there you see him he looks.
small yeah but you've been in NFL locker. rooms like I mean you know what it's. like nothing like this man full pimento. loaves yeah just shuts it down like like. you cannot like a hippo. It's like a hippo. So, what do you I'm. curious now in this situation. How is. that handled? Do you guys make him do. it? Is there a plumber that comes in? No, he's plunging that thing. Yeah. Asked him. He used to just leave him. plugged until he got called out for. Yeah. Yeah. Literally, we have people. spilling stuff all over the thing. Usually him as well. We potentially him.
He's part of the crew. You talk about an. NFL game day like an hour two hours. before kickoff. That is one of the. worst. Yeah. Clear out about as good as. you can. Like as bad as you can have. If. you were to add him to one of those, they'd say talks here. Let's go to the next question. Hippos. cracked me up. Oh, what's that? Hippos. That was Yeah, hippos. Good descriptive. So, you understood what he meant there. I did. I did. Talk's unbelievable. He. tried to take down a plane with his ass. one time. You remember that? Soon as he. got on a private plane. First time. First time he got on a private plane. March straight to the back. First time.
You got to You can't, man. You got to. bite that bullet. You just hold on. Yeah. Till you land. How long was the. flight? Four. No. Yeah, that's what he. was thinking. He's thinking, I can't do. four hours with this thing in Son of. Once it got out of him, I think. everybody understood like there's How. was that even inside of you? There has. to be another human dumping. Did it make. it down the like the airplane? The. airplane toilet might help him. Actually. started. [Music]. to excuse me. Yeah. Came up like the. pilot know before you so you can adjust.
Yeah. So, you fly on those big planes. We don't get a chance to do that. Uh, is. there a toilet in the front of the plane. where you what the plane you fly on as. well? No. Okay. I'm not like you. We had. a guy not like you. I we got lucky to be. on one of these planes and we had we had. a co-pilot dump in the front one. So, we. had the back thing kind of shut, front. was kind of locked away and uh poop just. started like trickling back the door and. we started smelling poop. So, we assume. like somebody ripped ass and everybody's.
like, "No, actually didn't. Actually. didn't." It was like, "Well, who pooped. back there?" Go wake a couple people up. in the back. Hey, did you dump? No. No. I've been asleep. Okay. Somebody pooped. in here. So, obviously, we opened the. thing. Co-pilot standing there. We're. like, "Hey, did you just dump?". No. Did not dump. And it was like, he. certainly did. That guy had a good I. mean, that was pungent. Oh, yeah. Took. over the whole plane. It did. 30 45. minutes, too, cuz it was just seeping. underneath our door into our nostrils as. we were playing Uker. Do you know how to. play that game? Uker? Yeah. Uh, not not.
no not proficiently. Let's get back to. that being in Wisconsin though. And you. don't play? No. Cribage. I know cribage. I think they're very similar. I don't. think I know cribage. I don't know. Harry Potter board. No, it's Quiddage. Cribage is with a board. Yeah, there's a. board. You got pegs. Yeah. Keep keep. going. Go. I play cards. You play pegs. Let's get to a hash ask Jage question. Great. Thanks, Patty Mack. That's so.
cool. I could tell he's already losing, Steve. Yeah, you don't like I just got. to remember. No, I have to have to. remember. C. Doves CD. Hey, you know D. Uh, no. I'm catching uh I'm I'm downwind. of a lot of things here. And I'm feeling. the I'm feeling the wind. You all right, dude? He's all doped up. Oh, this guy's. on CBD right now. I'm down wind. All. right, let's get to the ass, please. What are your hopes for Burnley FC in. their return to the Premier League?
What's the key to their success? #. askjage. That's a good question. It is a. great question. We are obviously hoping. to break the run of three up, three down. of the last two seasons. Very difficult. to do. The Premier League is obviously. extremely extremely difficult league. with uh continuing funds being pumped in. at extremely high levels. But we are. extremely excited about our team. uh. really proud of the season that they had. and I think Scott Parker did a great job. and our defense is phenomenal. So. hopefully we have a defensive stalwart.
and some good counterattacking. Put some. goals in. Your goal is not going to be. able to stand on his head for two months. straight like he did this last time, right? He's incredible man. He's a great. great player, great kid and uh I've. always said it and I'll keep saying it. He will be England's number one keeper. someday. Is he still under contract with. you guys? Yes. Can we loan him for TST? No, we already got our goalie. We don't. need We cannot have any of our players. for TST. Yeah, cuz they going to make the [ __ ]. team. Yeah, we'd have to try. They'd. have to try out. You're not even on the. team this year. Who? You. Look at the. roster. I'm on the roster. Did you.
register yourself? They were very. serious about registration there. I. don't know. Are you registered? We're. registered. We got general manager. Are. you registered? Are you guys registered? We're back on our rules, dude. What are. you talking about? There's rules. Sounds. like if you're not registered on the. roster, you can't play. I'm registered. on You might do that on purpose so you. don't have to play. Do you want to see. our roster? Is that what you want to do? Does it say Patty Mack? Let's see the roster. I'd like to see. the roster. Ladies and gentlemen, our. official roster. Holy [ __ ] What is that.
for Conca graduating class of West. Virginia 2025. 25? As you see there, top left corner. Ridiculous. Pat McAfee on the roster. Once again, I am honored to have made. the roster of this Conca team. This. concafa team is going to continue to win. and continue to succeed at TST. Jeff. Cameron, I have good news for the rest. of TST. I don't believe he will be. playing. He suffered an injury in. training. What? Much like myself. Yeah, his is a lower body. Mine was an upper.
body. Nonetheless, Jeff Coman will be in. attendance. Don't worry about that. Ga. back on the squad after a lot of. questions. That's [ __ ] Check. I'm. out. [ __ ] Gella. I'm out. No. No. Ga was. good. G was trying to run up the price. He's trying to extort you for cash. What. kind of prices you pay? He was trying to. go to Burnley trying to extort you for. cash. Don't you worry about that. Our. roster is happy. Our roster is I'm. telling you right now, you got 45 people. up here. This is a locker room mutiny. waiting to happen. I'm not getting. enough minutes. I'm not getting no. minutes. Why is he on the field? I'm not. on the field. That's a mutiny, brother.
What do you think? I'm there. Long. tournament, brother. We didn't have one. last time. This one's going to be way. worse. We didn't have one. We were just. fighting each other who were playing. Our best players were fighting. There. was Yeah, but how'd they get through it, Dumpy? Yeah, they figured it out through. team chemistry. Yeah. And and with a guy. like Drew Rugles on the team. Everyone. loves an underdog. Dumpy, I see your hat. says everyone loves an underdog. What. kind of underdog? You guys are paying. your players more than Ohio State is. What are you talking about? Youth has. players that are [ __ ] under. contract. There's teams openly cheating.
Listen, if you want to call us Ohio. State, cool. Cuz there's a Texas out. there. There's an Oregon out there. And. what did Ohio State do last year? They. won. Thanks for the compliment, Judge. We'll see what happens. Listen, you got. to pay a guy like Red Boots. Otherwise, he's going to go to the next highest. bidder. Damn good teams last year. That. Jamaican team was fire. Very good. We. had that first game. That was tough for. us. Yeah. Learned a lot. We're still. learning how to play rules. Just. learning period how to play the game. Richard Castanzo, currently college.
coach for. uh George uh George Mason. Yep. Western. Pennsylvania dog. one of the first guys. out of Western Pennsylvania to make it. into like the uh ODP world which is. Olympic development program. He's a year. older than me. I'm love that dude. He is. a grinder. He is going to run people to. our team this year. You know, last year. we had a lot of older guys, you know, hey, let's do one for a gipper here. This is TBT. This is throwback Thursday. at TST. This year we got a lot of guys. that are in great shape. Who is Philip.
E? So that's the thing about Philip E. He's goalie. He was goalie of the year I. think at MASL last year or two years. ago. Can play with his feet. So that's a. big deal. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So. instead of having to substitute meet. Stefan Miaovich right there who's giving. He's talking to you JJ. He's talking to. you JJ. Quiet. Quiet your mouth. Quiet. your [ __ ] mouth. That's what Mia. Quiet your mouth is what he's saying. there. Swag. I mean he didn't he's not. going to have to play goalie this year. whenever it gets to target cold. And.
last but not least, the Indianapolis. Outlaw. Yeah, obviously the kid. Yeah, Thomas Ser. Yeah, Ser's back. I don't. think that is the best photo of Thomas. Ser. I think he looks more like like a. linebacker. That's what he does and he. scores goals. That's what he plays like. He scores goals. Mike Fos looking to get. a lot more minutes this year hopefully. Been training. Quite the forehead on. him. Love it. Whoa. You got to head the ball. You got. to put the ball on the net. I mean, look. at it. It's on two different screens. It.
took up. He had to move up to the next. screen. Yeah, he does have an eight head. there. You're right. Yeah. Jesus Pacheco. is a problem. Mhm. You know, uh Gordo. obviously back to doing his thing. Isaiah. Uh maybe when you see him play, you go, that guy's run hard. Yeah. Hi, Nie. Emanuel Leiddesma. Oh my god. Mhm. Man, it looks like a UFC fighter. He. looks like he beat this [ __ ] up. Well, that's the thing about our team as you. know. We set the tone and we win games. And uh you didn't win it last year. What? You're You're talking like. defending champs. You're talking like.
the defending champs. We had no idea we. were signing up for quarterfinals, brother. First round. Congrats. Raise a. banner. AFC banner when we beat your. ass. We thought about it. I'll tell you. what, if we could raise a banner, we. would have And if we would finalist. Conca put it up 6-1 against Burnley FC. Have you ever did you know what you were. signing up for last year? Nope. Not at. all. Me neither. Do you think you think. that Foss guy with that brain under. there knew what he was signing up for. whenever we went there? No way. Oh, but. now you think Tony Miola knew what the.
[ __ ] was going on last year? Nobody did. I'm a Tab Ramos. I don't know if many. would have signed up if they did. Tab. was scouting. What is your problem? I. think more people would have signed up. because of how great it is. I need a. team to root for this year. So, I'm. conc. I'm open for bidding on fandom. You guys don't have to do it. You guys. don't make him make you do it.
Quarterfinals. in our first track. Yeah. Great. But. unlike you, we're going back. Yeah. We're trying to conquer the beast that. is TST and we got a great great roster. this year. You talk about everybody. being upset about playing time. Sure, that's going to come. We want that to. come. You're talking about guys maybe. being upset about not taking a free. kick. Maybe somebody else takes a free. kick who is definitely not going to. score in a free kick. He's just going to. kick the ball out of the stadium. Now we. got two other people upset about who's. not taking a free kick. Maybe that does.
cause a little drama. We learn from. those things. And whenever these fights. stop uh start, that's when the culture. takes over, brother. And Colon K already. has a culture. Yeah, we like to have a. good time. Great time. Some of the team. more so than the other. Yeah. Miss you, Ed Speed. DJ Edsp speed is uh going to be missing. He was on the court. Yeah. He thought he. didn't make the team this year. Kind of. bummed about that. He got hurt, too. Speed was great before the game. He's. great. He was. I will say he might be on. another team. Maybe he should be. He was.
our DJ, so we're going to have to figure. out who's going to take that role. Maybe. Tob Ramos, coach. Uh I've been hearing. Tony Mola and Tob Ramos have been. actually watching uh like film for the. last couple months on this. Of course. Let's [ __ ] go. Like trying to boys. also had a uh had a training camp. Yeah, he did that last year. No, last year. vastly different. had nobody knew what. they were [ __ ] signing up for last. year. We had no idea. I thought you said. you did a Florida training camp. They. did a Florida training camp. Yeah, they. took a day. Oh, so they did do it. Yeah, but nobody knew what they were doing.
Now we have like a concentrated goal. Tony Mola's brain wrapped around what. TST sevens is. Bob problematic for. everybody else. Don't be surprised. when becomes a million-dollar program. I. will be surprised. Well, don't happily. happily surprise. Well, just follow. along and watch what Gordo does out. there. Watch what Dehoff does. Mario. Alvarez back on the squad. Did Gump have. any possibility of making the playing.
team? He No. Yeah, he might play. Not at. all. No chance. You should see him in. warm-ups, Jage. I know. That's what I'm. saying. Like, he's got some skills. Gump, was there any lobbying at all? You. were trying to get out there? Uh, I've. lobbied a bit. I could be out there. We. don't know yet. Is that leg legal? Are. you registered as a coach or a player? Enough with your registered registered. I'm registered to play. Enough with your. registration battles last year. So I. know he's a coach. Are you guys Are you. guys using your ESPN powers to just. Definitely. We tried to change the time. of one of the games. We thought we had. that type of sway. Uh-uh. They went the.
complete opposite direction and I was. not happy about it. I was like, "We. [ __ ] needed it this time, but we. don't care. Schedule it the other time.". I'm like, "Wow, I feel like we're doing. a lot for this. I feel like you're doing. I feel like I feel like we're trying a. lot." And they're like, "No, the. tournament has to remain the. tournament." And after talking to them. after the tournament, I have massive. respect for the people that run this. They have a lot of passion, a lot of. everything behind this. They're trying. to keep this as a great tournament. TBT, the basketball tournament, obviously. everybody knows about TST four times the. size. Like the amount of people, tickets sold,
everything. This is TST is like very. This has become a very very I think. you're a massive player in that. Well, we were only there last year, so let's. not get crazy. But Conca is going to. become a mainstay in uh TST, I think, especially if we have the success that I. think we're going to have this year. Look at me. Yeah. I mean, just look at the eyes of. Meat. Meat saying, "Oh, there's a. million dollar prize up for grabs.". Okay. Shut your mouth, JJ. Shh. Mhm. Shh. Shut your mouth, JJ. You. remember Zach night? You remember.
[ __ ] bumping into him a couple times? I do. Shoulder still hurt. Yeah. You. still got a little bruise like I do. against Gunther. You guys are watching. from the sidelines. Yeah. Just part of the arena. Mhm. Man. in the arena. Did you have any assists. last year? No. Do you have any goals. last year? No. Oh, so you left with. completely zero on the stat sheet. Yep. Okay, sweet. I had the highlight of the. [ __ ] tournament with the assist that. I had. You're talking about man in the. arena. I agree with that. I agree with. that. I do. Check that off the box.
Talking about mull man over there. What. are you talking about? He was in he was. in the trenches with the boys at night. We're part of the [ __ ] concave of. crazy. Yeah. Equipment managers, athletic trainers. There's a lot of. people that go into the success of a. team. They were part of that. Yeah. You. called him a fat ass actually. Yeah. remember he was he he was he's kind of. going back that way but it's. what the hell no he's done a great job. maybe you should hang out with Tone and. get on some go that's a good idea not a. bad idea.
[Music]. be careful next week I mean next that. donut cart's going to be there again and. I'm going to be outside I can't wait to. enjoy it I didn't get a chance to enjoy. it last year good coffee it did look. good I'm going to have just so everybody. knows I will have cleat on. I will have. a uniform on just in case we start. losing guys. P. We're up seven. You got. plenty of them. That graphic I keep. staring at it. That's a lot of [ __ ]. one. How many guys on at once? So you're. allowed 20 on the roster. Okay. On the.
field. 7 v7. Seven. I can't wait. You can't even do that. It's It's 20 minutes running clock. We. ran out of gas last year, brother. You. ever seen Muddy Ducks? Full line. changes. The Wednesday night team movie. of all time. D2. Well said. Co. Did you. ever see it? Some of these people say. that you have not seen the movies that. you promote as if you've seen. Oh no. What are you talking? I'm the opposite. I I tell people that I openly there's. movies that I haven't seen that I should. have seen. What are some movies you. should have seen? Mission. Braveheart.
What? You've ever seen Braveheart? So now at this point, Private Ryan, what? Wow. I know. I'm telling you. These are on my list. I got to get them. How long have they been on your list? Sounds like this. Long time. It is a. long time. So, you're just keeping this. as a thing so you can have a thing. I. just I like, hey, what's my movie thing? There was there was a while where I was. like, all right, I I will save. Braveheart now for a big game and then I. didn't cuz I'm there. I got to watch it. I'm watching Game of Thrones right now. for the first time all the way through. How is it? Really good. What season are.
you on? Last one. Wow. Congratulations. It's really good. There was one bad. season in there. Uh, but the rest really. I heard the last season's a bad one. Starbucks ending is really bad. That's. what I've heard. I'm pretty sure the. last season has aged better than uh the. initial reaction. Everybody at the. beginning was just calling this writer. sellouts and everything saying they. mailed it in. There's Starbucks cups. here and this is happening. That stuff. Yes. I've heard the last episode like. I've heard people call the last episode. one of the worst episodes. I think I. think that's a little overblown in the. time for sure. And it also doesn't help.
that the fatso who wrote the thing, you. know, just kind of keeps pushing off how. it's supposed to end. So those these. guys were like, "Hey, okay, we got to. end it how we're going to end it then.". I'm looking forward to it. We're close. We're close. Wow. Well, George RR. Martin, you know, this guy every single. year is like, you know, the book's going. to be finished in 6 months. And then. they check in, they're like, "Hey, Fatso, you haven't [ __ ] written. anything in the last 18 months, so is it. still coming out in 6 months?" And well, you know, I had to go back and alter a. few scenes. Well, there's like a. thousand characters, right? Yeah. But, you know, the last book came out in like.
1998. Yeah. Yeah. He got paid mightily. And. they You want me to tie this whole thing. together, huh? Okay. much more money. he'd make if he just finished the. goddamn thing. I'm definitely in that. stage right now where all of a sudden. all the characters are interacting with. each other. Holy [ __ ] you guys came. together quick. Yeah, I just did. Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Great. Great shows. Great great shows. And the problem is George RR Martin did. this uh video game Elden Ring. He did. like the story design for it and people.
aren't happy about like him doing [ __ ]. like that before finishing. What's this. guy's problem? He wants to focus on. something else that's massively. successful. That's what I'm saying. It I. mean Elden Ring is like one of the. biggest video games of all time. Boom. So Elden Ring. Yeah. Do you play video. games? # Ashage. Uh no. Me neither. I. don't watch any of the stuff you were. talking about either. Better Call Saw. and Breaking Bad. They're very good. Breaking Bad I think is a great show of. all time. And then Better Call Saw is a. prequel and really really better than.
Save by the Bill. Well, different genre. Different genre. Same by the belts right. there, but different genre. It's a good. point. I saw somebody the other day say. we need to bring shows like that back. Uh I think it was Nate Nate Bargatsi. He. was talking about how like we need shows. like King of Queens. We need some of. those just like regular everyday sitcoms. that you just watch and feel good. Why. doesn't Barati write it? I feel like. he's the genius. He might be. I think he. was talking about his production company. and the type of stuff he wants to. produce. He's so smart. He's great. Nate's awesome. Tom Seur just put that. out. Tom Sur just put four episodes out.
there that are good old wholesome fun. like old school. You're talking about. bad thoughts. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. if that's how it's being marketed. I I. had to uh I had to talk about it on uh. Monday Night Raw cuz Mystic Rick and the. Machine were there right behind the. desk. What a moment. What a moment for. it all. Dragon Lee [ __ ] dives front. flip out of the ring all the way across. our desk and you just see Tom Cigar's. eyes just like what the [ __ ] It was his. first ever wrestling Oh, really? event. ever. Yeah, cuz he used to be anti-.
wrestling big time. And then that was. his first wrestling event. And uh I. think he was just mind-b blown by it. all. I think Tom Cigar people like that. whenever you get Have you ever been to a. live No, I was just gonna say I I want. to come to one. When you get to one and. you watch it, you just think to. yourself, oh, this is the most absurd. Should I start with a Wrestlemania or. should I start with a Should I Is there. an introduction? Is there an. introduction? Start with Wrestlemania. You [ __ ] start with Wrestlemania. All. right. Yeah. You won't know all the. stories going in, but they'll show you a. video package that'll give you at least. enough of like a catch-up and then.
you'll be able to get right into it. Just the obviously the athleticism is. insane. The things that they're doing. right in front of you is wild. Completely exposed by so many people. Like what they're doing is insane. Can't. miss a beat. Somebody could potentially. die. But then all the [ __ ] that just. happened there, it's it's insane. It's. Kirk. You got to take it for what it is. It's professional wrestling. You're. watching sports entertainment here. You. know, he's kind of got to escape a. little bit. Kirk Herbry. Yeah. Kirk. Herbry went to Wrestlemania and his. whole his face the whole time was Yeah.
Legit. He was sitting right over here. I. could literally see it and just then he. would look over at me just like, "Yeah, dude. This is just this is going to. happen now. This is the whole time. You. need to get to one." Yeah. I I want to. see it. I I sat with Triple H at the. Arnold Classic years back and like tried. to get into it, but I have never I've. never gotten into it. I think it's. partially because I've never seen it. live. I think seeing it live and. understanding I still have that whole. thing in my head of like I don't want to. say it out loud but like. what I mean I just I have that in my. head so I just don't that it hurts that.
you don't want to do it that you get. bruised for two three weeks. I don't. doubt that it hurts. I don't doubt that. there's a lot going on there. I'm just. telling you what I from my perspective. on it. Yeah. I'm just saying I don't. know what your perspective is. What. you're Yeah. You're alluding to kind of. being negative about everything. I'm not. being negative about it. I want to go. see it. I want to experience it. I'll be. negative about conc. What's your deal, dude? Yeah. So, you. should just honor your kings. We're in. Premier League, brother. You're down in. the maka. We're back on our perch. What's your thing that you can't get.
over? I don't understand. It's not real. What? Dump that, please. It is real. Those who. are great are rewarded. Yeah. No doubt. Okay. You ever heard of Hulk Hogan, brother? I sure have. Like I know that. I never watched it growing up. I wasn't, but I know all about Hulk Hogan. WCW. You're telling me this ain't real? Watch. Dragon Lee here with Chad Gable, brother. Boom. Boom. Oh jeez. Right in front of Mystic.
Rick in the Machine. No doubt. It. [ __ ] hurts. No doubt. You know what? You're squatting 465, 6'6. Still look. good. Why don't you just go find out if. it's what you think it is? No. That's. why I didn't do like why don't you after. when I retired people were like you. should you should do something like WWE. and I was like that's just as difficult. on your body. Why the [ __ ] would I want. to do that? Yeah, you could be good. though at it cuz especially whenever you. put those strap photos out there. Yeah, that's really good for business. Yeah, you'd be maybe. I mean, who knows?
Haven't seen him take a chop, you know? Yeah. From Gunther. You think you can. handle one of those? Go back to the. peanut gallery. All right. Stay stay in. your lane. I'm just saying you think you. can handle a chop from Gunther, bro. Hey, I've I've trained in the square. circle, baby. Okay. I've been in there. We could go see if you could take a. chop. How about that? Oh, I know. We've. seen it. I've taken a candlestick, too, brother. Candlestick. Kendo. What's that? Let's get back to this. thing. I'm so disgusted. Let's go to #J. This from Sweet Cavie. Sweet Caviey's.
disappointed with you, J. I can't. believe you said that. # As whisper. head. Your thoughts on how teams stop. the tush push. Also, your thoughts on if. it should be banned since the Eagles and. Buffalo Bills are the only ones that are. good at it. Um, well, the Bills got. stopped on it in the playoffs. Yes. Massive moment. So, but I don't think it. should be banned. I mean, if you're good. at something, you shouldn't be punished. for it. I do. If you want to take the. push part of it away, like or like I. don't know. I just Well, you're. indifferent. It's not. No, they're great. at it. Don't punish them for being great.
at it. The thing that I'm most impressed. by hands down as a player is that their. offensive line manages to stay on side. every single time. Cuz as you're out. there on the field, you're for sure. they're offside. You're like, there's no. way that they're on side, but they're. all lined up perfectly. They time it up. perfectly. They're incredible at it. The. defensive teams often, almost every. single time, are offside. You can watch. that clip right there, the overhead. shot. They're lined up offside. The. defense is actually the one technically. wrong every time if you watch it, which. is wild. Yeah. And you still can't stop.
it. Jaylen Herz, how do you stop? Yeah. Go ahead. You don't like that's I I've. been on teams where we played the Eagles. while they were tush pushing and people. are like, "How do you stop?" I'm like, "You can't." Like you could lay a guy. down on the ground to try and stop him. low. You could put a guy over the top. and try and stop him high, but they know. the snap count. You don't. So, they have. the one advantage that you can't have. and they're going to win. Age, how would. you stop it? You got to find a way to. get like two guys at the point, get an. absolute jump, and just almost hit the. ball as it's being snapped to like to. stop all of momentum, but then they're.
still going to get pushed. So I I. honestly don't really know. They were. doing hard counts in the Super Bowl, right? Or uh NFC NFC championship. Washington. Yeah, they were doing hard. counts and it's like once you add hard. counts into it, completely screwed. It's. unstoable. Yeah, I think it's just it is. unstoable. Eagles unstoppable. I believe. has Va had some you got to just put the. big dogs like as big as you got. Yeah, but I don't know how many Vita are out. there. No. Well, they got the other guy. from Florida. Yeah. Who's four who's 430. pounds? So like him and Vea, like that. might be the only way to consistently.
stop it is get two dudes who are over. 400 lb. But I don't even know like if. you ask the Eagles, if you ask Jason. Kellis or you ask somebody, I don't know. if they would give you an answer on how. to stop it. I don't think he I I. literally don't know. I think he might. say there's nothing you can really do. Have you seen how good your hair looks. up arrow on neck? I'm not sure on it. I'm really love like there's way too. much hype going on it. Foxy Foxy, let's. get a little It's bad. Can we get a. little zoom on it? Looks good. The more. you touch it, the worse it gets. No, no,
I disagree. It's supposed to be I think. your hair is supposed to be It's. flowing. You can do that. Look at that. It looks good, dude. Great volume. JJ, JJ, that's good hair. Maybe a little. straight out of a hat. Yeah, but maybe. fade on the side. You can still do the. fade too on the side. This guy a Pantene. Prov commercial. Yeah, that's right. Herbal Essences. Yeah. Yeah. that this I. feel like we're at a point in the show. that we have. No, we got Are you a head. and shoulders guy? Let's get a last. question here for Ask Jade, shall we? I. don't like how negative you've been. about everything. Your hair included.
Your hair is awesome. Gumpy, what's this. all about? Has you been drinking out of. your poutine back there? I've been. pretty I've been pretty positive today. to be fair. I thought it was going to be. super positive with JJ in the building, but I guess not. I'm having a blast. Me, too. I mean, having like you guys are living it. This. is awesome. Superstar Wednesday, too. Yeah. Yep. Let's get to the last Ashage. This is K Smitty. 1734. Long time ago, J. Pay your. respects. # Ashage, what are your. thoughts about Mission Impossible The.
Final Reckoning? And could you do the. stunts? You think 6 foot uh 620. 75. just an absolute freak. Son of a [ __ ]. 66275 hanging off the wing. What are. your thoughts? No, I think Tom's. unbelievable. Did you watch uh the final. mission? Not yet. I watched I saw some. of your guys interview. That's awesome. That's That was really cool. Yeah, it. was. I mean, I I have so much respect. for somebody who commits to being the. best at what they do and truly follows.
through with it every single time. And. he has clearly done that. And he has he. holds his industry and he holds. everybody in it to the level that. he expects expects it to be at. And he. lives up to that every single time. I. mean, the [ __ ] he does is unbelievable. It's insane. And I even though he shows. us how it's done, even though they show. us all the takes, like I don't think. anybody truly understands. And to your. point about not having to put yourself. out there, like we talked about working. out with the seals or whatever, he has. zero reason whatsoever to be hanging off.
the side of a plane. He has zero reason. to be climbing up a building. Yet, he. continues to do it because he feels an. obligation. I mean, Tom Cruz is insane. 62 years old, too. He's committing seven. days a week. He's constantly thinking. about movies. How can I get better? What. can I get better? 7 days a week. It. never stops. I'm always on. Unreal. 62. He's going to do that till he dies. Oh, yeah. Every day of his life, he's going. to wake up, how can I make a better. movie? How can I make a movie? Thank. God. It's like he found his he found his. calling and he is fully committed to it. Yeah. He's just I mean, his energy seems. incredible. Like he just I mean, and you.
talk to people around him and they're. like when you're around him, he just you. feel a different aura. You feel a. different energy. You want to be better. to be around him. It's it's special. Have will you watch uh have you watched. all the Mission Impossibles? Oh, I. haven't. You have not watched all the. Mission Impossible? Oh my god, that's. disgusting. Any of them? I mean, I No, I. haven't seen any of them. You don't know. Ethan Hunt? Crazy man. Any of them? That's crazy. We'll have a moment of. silence for JJ Wad, not having a clue. what the [ __ ] he's talking about. You watch Top Gun Maverick? I'm trying.
Yeah, I did. I'm trying to get where you. heard that I movies. Why would I lie. about that? That's you wear those. t-shirts and you always say like that's. a super cool throwback thing. I only. wear ones that I've actually watched The. Office. Ducks. American Made. American Made. It's another TC classic. Great one based on true story. Cocktail. is a good one from AJ. Did you ever see. that? Yep. Sherry McGuire. Magnolia is. an under the radar one. Yep. And Arizona.
has not changed since that movie. Born. on the 4th of July. Yep. Risky business. 12 billion at the box office. You've. seen nothing. I've seen some I've seen. both Top Guns. Collateral. Is he bringing a fat guy. back? Less. Less. They might. Yeah. Was this the last. Mission Impossible? Yeah. Final reckon. No, it's called The Final Reckoning. Final Reckoning. You're just going have. to see them all to find out. How many of. them are there? Eight. You can watch. those. I'll do it for I'll do it.
They're so good. Do it for Tom. Do it. for what, Tom? For the good of the. industry. see at the movies. Maybe you. should rent out a movie theater to watch. all eight of them straight through. Oh, I'll come. Yeah. So, so eight straight. through. That would. take 20 hours. Yeah. Greatest day of. your life. Give or take. It's probably a. great day. That would be a. That would be fun. Lot of popcorn. A lot. of popcorn. I love Was he eating that. popcorn or what? Yes, absolutely. The. reason he dropped that one was cuz he. hit the bucket. It didn't drop out of. his hand. Yeah, the bucket spilled. But. that could have been the gimmick to make. it look like there's popcorn in there.
That [ __ ] was cool. Yeah. like the. [ __ ] like legend throwing the dice. Imagine him on a craps table. Imagine a. night crap. He's probably he's probably. running on top of it if I had to guess. Stance on top of you know what I mean. before he throws it. He's just saying. think about how much popcorn he's had to. eat to be that comfortable with the. [ __ ]. What's going on, boys? Boom. He's. watching somebody else's movie. Shut up and watch the film. Watches a. movie a day. Is that what he said? Yeah. Yeah. Big on popcorn. Yeah. He loves the.
fiber in it. He said too big book. He. said that to us. He say he loves the. fiber in the pop. He did. Said popcorn's. health. He said it to us. I didn't think. he I don't know if it was you, but I. mean that was his popcorn take. He was. like, I can't eat a lot of things, but I. can eat a lot of popcorn. It's got. fiber. It's healthy. Makes you poop. Yeah. I saw he's got a great Daffy Duck. impression. Really? Yeah. I saw it. yesterday for the first time after the. Pacers game. I was just like going. through stuff. The algorithm. Yeah. and. the ALGO fed me this unbelievable I. haven't got to the Daffy Duck Tom Cruz. yet, but they've sent me all of his.
stunts in my ALGO. Shout out to my. algorithm. A lot of Tom Cruz in the. ALGO, rightly so. You might be Tom Cruz. someday, JJ. You don't know. Uh number. two analyst for CBS this year on NFL. games. And you know, in the future, he. might be Tom might be the next Tom Cruz. No, it's nothing against you. There. there is never there's never going to be. anyone who's like [ __ ] TC. You know, we're talking about Mission Impossible. and Yeah, he's doing some sweet stuff. That is a Mission Impossible. It is. In. a couple years, this guy is going to be.
Glenn Powell. Yes and no. Uh we're still the Jersey on. that. We like Glenn Powell. I love Glen. Powell. I mean, no question. Great. Um. TC is going to [ __ ] do a spacew walk. He's going to space. That's his next big. time stunt. Actually going Yes. He is. going to be the first civilian do a. movie right on the moon to actually do a. spacew walk. a space walker that's. outside the space station. Correct. I. believe he's going up to the. International Space Station for a movie. that he's shooting and that's going to. be So that's going to be a cold open of.
him [ __ ] outside of that fixing the. Hubble telescope with the Earth behind. Yeah. With Earth behind and he's going. to get knocked loose or something and. he's going to come back in. Who's going. to film it? [ __ ] I've been thinking about that. quite a bit. I don't know how many like. directors of photography are signing up. for like Mchugh. No, no, no. Do you see when they're. That's my thing. He'll he'll mount the. camera as my guest. That is probably. what they'll end up doing cuz I don't. think anyone's signing up to be like, "Yeah, I'll go [ __ ] walk in space.
with you." Or do you just teach an. astronaut? That's what I think. I think. you have an astronaut maybe hold the. handheld. Maybe that's I mean these guys. are getting stuck up there. You're going. to have TC getting stuck up there for a. year. No, he would just jump. Yeah, TC. would be able to pilot back or swim. back. He would swim back. You're right. All the way. all the through the. atmosphere. Yeah. Until he gets to like. the outer ring of the ozone and then he. could just [ __ ] and go right into the. closest ocean. He'd wait for Earth to spin. Exactly.
He'd swim to a spot where he could get. comfortable. Wait for Earth to spin and. then boom. That's where I want. Mediterranean. Mediterranean. Pick up. speed and then he's just They'd come out. riding a dolphin for sure. The queue. would be right behind him the whole. time. I got it. I got it. Couldn't I uh. space station they have satellite up. there, right? Yeah. So, you probably set. up a PTZ if I had a guess, right? Tom, you're a [ __ ] filming with a. PTZ. Why? You kidding me? You don't. think they put a PTZ outside the [ __ ].
Not a chance. Tom's going to look at. that one second. That quality [ __ ] I'm. not doing that for a This is not You're. telling me they don't have an AKT? It'll. be like an IMAX camera probably. It'll. be It'll be It'll be the only kind of. camera that It'll be specifically made. for them to go do. He's inventing it. I. bet he's inventing the cameras that he. was using. Without a doubt. Good job, Ed. That cold open of him just mess. around on the outside of Space J. Wishly. broad. Yeah. I hope it's not a cold open. cuz I hope we see him piloting the. [ __ ] rocket ship off the launch pad.
up. Oh. To get up there cuz he's going. to do that as well. That's later. The. cold open's a throwback. Could be. Could. be. Start. with Tom's already thought of all this. We shouldn't even act like we know what. the [ __ ] going on. Yeah, he knows. It's going to be amazing. He's going to. be walking outside. Mhm. With his own. camera. Yep. What if it's on like one of. those sticks that he does? Mhm. Yeah. I. guess. Yeah. Yeah. Could be. Those. cameras that just shoot Yeah. Yeah. So, he films himself there. Maybe it's on.
this the glasses that have the camera. Meta. Yeah. And No, cuz he couldn't film. himself. He might go to Mars. He might. go to Mars. He's holding a mannequin. He's holding the mannequin up with his. glasses. Yep. Yep. That could be it. That could be it. You know, he Yeah, he. could put a camera on the American flag. pole that's on the moon and he could. just do a moonwalk. Let's not get into. that. Yeah, good idea. Definitely what. he can do. That's a good idea. Mhm. Yeah, cuz if he does that, that means he. never left Earth. You know, JJ, think.
about this. The moon is Rest in peace, Jim Merce. Yep. The moon is 250,000 miles away. Okay. Mars. 250 million miles away. Okay. I saw Elon. tweet that we could get to Mars in six. months if the planets are lined up at. the right thing is the projection in the. future. Okay. Whenever we are inevitably. traveling to these places on a regular. basis. Seems like that's going to happen. at some point. Are you going to sign up.
to do one of those or no? Uh not first. Would you go to the moon if you're. offered to go to the moon? If if. uh 5,000 people went before me, I need. some I need some assurance that that's. pretty How many people have gone to the. moon? Whole bunch. A whole bunch of nothing. What are you. talking about? I don't think you want to. get into that. Yeah, I don't. But I. mean, we're definitely going down a road. here. My current guess is we never. landed on the moon. That's what That's.
what I know. I mean, clearly we know. what you stand. It's a fact. How many. claims would it look? It is a thousand%. fact that we never went to the movie. How many people would have to keep a. secret? That would be a wild secret to. keep. But once again, you know, with the. technology advances, there's a chance. they could have faked that. What is. real? Nothing's real. I like to think we. went to the moon. And would you go? Uh, same thing with you. Got to Yeah. Got to. get I need to see others do it. Yeah. That's like in your You've bought a. plane? No. You bought two planes? Nope. Okay. Uh.
why would you guys want to go just. because yeah I mean just to be like. there's look back at hang out if you got. to experience 12 people have walked on. Earth's moon says Wikipedia the first. one was obviously Neil Armstrong and the. last one was Eugene Cernin all crude. moon landings took place between 1969. and 1972 as part of the United States. Apollo so 12 people did it then we just. stopped correct shut it down check the. box brother it's [ __ ] [ __ ] never.
happened. There's people that feel that. way. I hate and I didn't feel this way. until I learned that they made a call. They made a call from the Oval Office. all the way to the moon in 1969. Yeah. Made a call my wife. She's right down. the road right now. And what [ __ ]. world is that possible? Not this one. This one right here space station. Then. you look in you facetime with the space. station. Yeah. What'd you say? Hey team, how we doing? Yeah. Just checking in. twice. I've done it. Yeah. Oh, cuz. Houston, we have a problem. Yeah. Once.
was at from the facility which was. really cool and then once was from the. space from big delay. No, how was the. little delay? There was a little delay. I'm trying to remember why the first one. was cuz we did it from the stadium. I. think it was I don't know if it was. during the hurricane. There was. something. That's awesome. Hold on one. second cuz we were going to try to put a. request in for the two uh astronauts. that were stuck in space or whatever to. join the show. Feels like they do. interaction with Earth. Yeah, they. definitely do interaction. We I I.
wouldn't be first on the list to for. them to call if they didn't. How long. was your conversation with them? Uh the. one was when I was at NASA, we was just. like, "Hey, how's it going?" But then. the one at the stadium, that was like a. good 5 10 minutes. We got to ask them. some questions and they showed us around. a little bit. It was really cool. What. they do? Show you water floating around. Yeah. Like all the, you know, little So. you basically said, "Dance, dance." I. mean, I'm do the anti-gravity thing and. they did it back. Yeah. It was great. It. was really cool. I felt I felt cool. Yeah. Do the Did they tell you to do the.
Watt thing? Uh, no. No. I I don't want. to I didn't want to embarrass myself or. them or waste our airspace from between. here and the moon. Um, I guess they. weren't on the moon. It's a lot. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Who? No, it was in the. space station. They were Okay. I thought. you were joining. They see 13 sunrises. in one day, I think. Is that space. station says that? I think so. Isn't. that the number? They see like 13. sunrises in one day. Why would they. still be up there not go to the moon? cuz they're doing research out there, bud. What are they going to do there on.
space? We don't need to go to the moon. We already got all the [ __ ] soil. samples 50 years ago. What else is. there? Oh, nothing. 1969, 1972. We. already figured out. Exactly. You know. why we went to the moon? Cuz we were. trying to win the [ __ ] space race. And we won. Congrats to us. Ball game. over. Woo. You suck my dick, Russia. That's exactly what we said. And that. was the end of it. All right. And we. haven't had to go back. I'm all for. that, man. I just I just don't I just.
don't think it happened. We got our ratings for hour four right. there. Yeah, we got to get out of here. It's been a good day. Wanted to. celebrate this Pacers Knicks game in. proper fashion. I think we did that. I. think so, too. We want to talk about the. Dallas Stars potentially being dead. I. think we talked about that. We got a. chance. What do you think? What do you. think? We're not dead. Stuart Skinner. has to turn into a pumpkin. He's been. playing like Dominic Hassich. It's. blowing my [ __ ] mind. He's back to. form guy. Shite been shite all year. Oh, the guy who's up 3-1 on Dallas Stars is.
shite. Okay. In the Western Conference. Finals. Okay, got it. I mean, he got. pulled like he lost his starting job. during these playoffs. Then the other. guy got hurt. It's the only reason he. got back in the net. Yeah. And guess who. got his swagger back? Yeah, he's good. right now, but he has sucked at some. point. Feels like it might be Mc Jesus's. year. Mc Jesus verse the. Panthers Stanley Cup final. Zack. Heyman's out. Oilers. Yeah, Oilers's got. no shot against the Cats if they get.
there. Oilers are currently tied with. the Florida Panthers. Wow. For the odds. on favorite. I like the Panthers a lot. Not because I don't like Canada and I. don't like seeing Canada have a team. win. That would be cool to continue the. trend though of American teams winning. Amen. We will. Thank you to the Florida. Panthers and the state of Florida over. the last like five years really holding. it down for us. And Marshy obviously. taking a trip down to Florida making. that happen. But Mc Jesus's winning. would be very cool. But this Panthers.
team just feels like the right. They. just got the right. I like the color of. their gym. Yeah. So much physicality. So. much physicality. Got some guys back too. tonight. Rhino's back. Really? Greer's. back. Whoa. Back. Star has got a lot of. physicality too and Oilers are giving it. to him. Yeah, guys. MC Jesus can just. dance on that ice. He's just dancing on. that ice. The guys take [ __ ] cheap. shots, too. Whacking our guys' feet and. trying to break them, too. I mean, let's, you know, I'm about done with it.
All right. The Oilers just do stupid. [ __ ] and everybody says it's playoff. hockey. It's okay. It's cheap shots. All. right. Yeah, but Edmonton's a great. city. Is it? Do it back. Why aren't your. boys doing it? We did. We actually. knocked two guys out last game. So, and. cheap shots or No, they were great hits. See, they just laid them out. It was. just hockey. Yeah, you you were saying. it's hockey. Funny playoff hockey. Yeah, it is. That's what I was told. Edmonton. though. Good town. I heard. Is it? That's what I've been told. Heard the.
streets or the ice, if you will. I've. heard that. Across the ponds. Uh-huh. Got the double double there, too. Yeah, they invented the double double. Double. double again. Edmonton invented Timmy. Horton. I believe so. We have video of. JJ Watt down there at NASA. This is him. practicing space. Sweet. It's only a. matter of time before this is the real. deal. And he does have a hockey helmet. on. Oh, damn. I'm head down there and practice space. for a bit. I'll be back later.
I mean, that's neat. Yeah, I say it was. cool. It was cool. I did not I did not. know what to expect. And uh NASA is a. cool I mean so they said we got one trip. XXL [ __ ] helmet. Okay, we got JJ. Well, let's loosen the straps a little. bit. What was the mission? Spacew. walk 10. Is this what Tom Cruz is doing? You don't remember what this is? I. remember doing I don't remember what my. goal. was. I think I was just experiencing.
anti-gravity. That's why it'll never be. TC. How'd you feel? They had your feet. locked up, too. Yeah, you got everything. locked up. It's Oh, that's scary. Look. like a gray everything. They pull the. wrong button. And you're going a couple. different directions there. Whoa. What's. his name? Christian Gray. Mhm. 10 cents of space, man. That is That is. unbelievable. Yeah, there's a lot going. on. How long were you up there for? Not. that long. I'm f I'm Thank you for your. service. Yeah. I really was vulnerable. Why do they have your ankles? Like.
that's the that's the Because if they. were hanging, then you're not. anti-gravity. You know, I used to I did. the um 32 one fly at Kennywood. Oh, yeah. Me, too. It was the uh what did. they call it? The slingshot thing. Yeah. Sky coaster. Oh, yeah. And they put us. in a little bat suit and the legs were. certainly kind of attached in the back. there. You feel like they're in control. completely. Yeah. That's kind of where. you were doing there. You ever do the. like the sky zone where you fly over the. like you it's like skydiving but. indoors. Oh, yeah. Somebody turns that.
fan off when you're in you're [ __ ]. Did you enjoy You were able to do that. 66275. Yeah. Did it with some Navy. Seals. It was awesome. And you're Yeah. Did you do any flips? No, I was not. trying anything but staying afloat. Those guys can do some really cool [ __ ]. You ghost sky. I don't like like I'm. like you said, I'm a big guy. So, you. start to get off the ground and you. start to put yourself in some weird. places. Break your [ __ ] neck. You. think people underestimate how big you. are until they see you in real life? I I don't know. Definitely. I think so.
You're obnoxiously large. I can. definitely tell like uh I can tell at. times like if I'm bigger from working. out or if I'm haven't been working out. as intensely like people react. differently based on if you're like oh. like if I'm fully jacked up like it's. much much different full strapped up. they say holy [ __ ] look at this thing. and then whenever you're your me. flopping around they're not really that. impressed like I'm trying to lose like I. I need to let myself lose some weight I. feel a lot better when I'm lighter my. body my joints but you need to get 465.
on that back three times I mean, when. you're in the gym, I'm in the gym. yesterday, and I got I got there's like. four or five people there. Like, I I. can't just do 225. Like, I got to No, you can't, dude. It's an audience of. one. Always has been, always will be. God, God bless you for Jesus. He knows. it. Lord Jesus. I don't know. Sometimes. you need something. Like, you you got to. have something. It's fun. How How often. does the weight room get here get used? Very often in the morning, the boys are. in there. Do you chug uh pre-workout? No, I don't do pre-workout. You do.
creatine? Yeah, I do creatine. I do. post. All my stuff's posted. Creatine, BCAAs, collagen, protein, trembolone. sandwiches. Would love to see what's possible there. Would love to see what's possible. Why. don't you? Come on, just turn into a. full science project. [ __ ] that can go. wrong. There's a lot of [ __ ] that I I. will watch. We talked about those. Olympics people. I will absolutely. watch. Oh, the enhanced games. Can't. wait to see that. The super duper game. Oh, yeah. When when's that happen? I. used to next I just I see some stuff. popping up about it. I saw one guy.
that's going to be awesome. There's been. some projections on the amount of. muscles that are torn at that particular. event. It's going to be more than any. event in the history of events. But I'll. tell you what, they're going to lay it. on the line for us. Those shot put balls. are going to go further than ever. Mhm. I can't wait. That's going to be so fun. That could be you. No. Could be though. Could be. All right, J. We appreciate you. Good luck this fall. Thanks for stopping by out of nowhere. Thank you guys. This is awesome. This is. uh really, really cool. And I also have. even more respect for what you guys do. on a daily basis. No commercials,
everything. Straight through the. entertainment. Speak for the fans. Thank. you very much for the daily. entertainment. You guys are great at. what you do. Thanks, J. You're a good. guy.
