NFL season week three of college. football season with a bang last night. as the Atlanta Falcons pull off a minute. and five comeback Drive late in the. fourth quarter for Kirk Cousins and. Raheem Morris to get their first win of. this brand new era down in Atlanta for. the Falcons now for the Eagles there's a. lot of question marks we'll obviously. talk about it all today Aaron Rogers. will be joining us in about 30 minutes. remember they have a game on Thursday so. it might be a little bit of a quicker. week sure might be a little uh fast. acting you know this is standard. operating procedure for these Thursday.

night games with Aaron he'll be live. from the facility I assume if this is. anything like this has happened in the. past we'll try to get in and see how. he's feeling after his second win for. the New York Jets which he corrected a. member of the press in his press. conference after the game because if you. do recall in that game last year when he. ran out with the American flag on. September 11th he started that game. here's him chatting about it after the. game what does first win is a j. technically my. second we all know that somehow that. first one counts.

poor important Place well I don't know. if they count on that but uh yeah it. feels great little journalistic. standards he says uh I did get a start. there that was a big time punt return I. do believe that won that game for them. uh but I'm excited to see how he feels. how the building is and uh how are. things coming together over there for. the New York Jets fan base that feel. like you know we're all the way back oh. yeah then also we'll be joined by uh Dan. rovski in a second hour the return of. the day uh can't wait to see how that. goes very excited see how that goes but. also his thoughts on everything.

happening on a football field uh for the. NFL more specifically at the quarterback. position correct uh but today's going to. be a great day talk table was here at. boson Conor and at Tai Schmidt one half. of the hammer Cowboys AP town is here. looking great thank you I appreciate hey. the gamblers uh did not Bo well this. weekend and last night just really stuck. a fork in all of us isn't that accurate. yep everyone was on the Eagles um. basically one in nine teams who are five. and a half points or more uh is what.

they are on the year which is just. listen this this earlier in the year. it's pretty good to take the dogs right. now because nobody knows anything and if. you're going to get points you can take. those points and just run with them yeah. and also speaking of taking points maybe. take field goals you know whenever. they're potentially available because in. 2022 and 2023 we were in a a quick time. of like offense is so good we're going. to try to score touchdowns all the time. 2024 feels like field goals are the. golden Jewel this is what we are looking. looking for seven straight field goals.

won a game the other day for the. Washington commanders against the New. York Giants then six field goals in week. one for Boswell won them six field goals. for Jake moody in week one won them that. particular game it's like field goals. are now you know a precious commodity. because how defens have been able to. walk down in the red zone and I know. Michael Lombardi he'll be joining us on. Thursday was not thrilled with what was. happening with the Philadelphia Eagles. you said in a game that rewards the team. with the most points why aren't we. taking this the three points and guys.

like this that have been around football. a long time have been yelling at the. clouds for a while since field goals. became kind of obsolete there for a bit. but now it feels like in this particular. season with how good defenses have. seemingly got down in the Red Zone in a. tight area you got to get those three. points and if you have a great kicker. which is seemingly all across the league. everywhere right now that is a massive. benefit so at Fourth and four with Jake. Elliott no he's going to knock that home. anyways last year two years ago I think. right play right now with the trends. that we're seeing in the NFL take the. points whenever you can get them I know.

the Philadelphia Eagles probably don't. feel that way but I think that is the. trend across the NFL and then at the. very end of the game I heard you say. just run the ball yeah yeah just run the. ball Philadelphia Eagles up three I. think a lot of people potentially fell. asleep either near this area here as. they're watching another Prime Time game. third and three they've been running the. ball well all night saquon Barkley's. there Atlanta Falcons no timeout drop. the ball stop the clock you gave a. timeout to the Atlanta Falcons you. didn't have one very late into the game. also you don't pick up the first so now. a field goal he makes it six points.

which means what oh the Falcons can win. this what the Falcons can win this game. and guess what they would go on to do. they would Kirk Cousins would operate in. a prime time moment in a two-minute. drill with no timeouts as if he wasn't. playing against another team it was. literally just them playing against air. they were able to do whatever the hell. they want they almost drove the ball. down too quickly at the end of the game. pton Manning and his watch along on the. Manning cast alongside Matt Ryan and Eli. Manning were like hold on now let's not. score too fast he's like wait we didn't.

even know if you're were going to be. able to score a touchdown against a very. stingy Philadelphia Eagles defense but. instead they got down so quickly that. people were worried that they were going. to score too fast and give Jaylen Herz. an O opportunity at the end instead. touchdown London who loses his mind oh. my God sorry about it Philadelphia we. just scored a touchdown on Monday night. in another building with less than a. minute to take the lead potentially now. this just ties it obviously but a. situation that would happen immediately. after this touchdown where he's spraying.

peace that was two fingers all over the. place he's spraying PE he's he's a peace. sprinkler out there not in anybody's. face only with his teammate near the. sideline spraying peace we're calling a. penalty on that I I I I don't know then. you go back to the Jaylen Herz run from. earlier in the game where he picks up a. massive fourth down gets tackled gets. excited not in anybody's face not in. anybody's face just kind of does his. thing loses his mind at home once again. Monday Night Football big.

run not in anybody's face just. celebrating and I know we learned you. can't spite the ball can't spite the. ball on the field it's automatically a. penalty it's like I guess we can't have. any feel with anything because in fourth. quarter if you have a feel and people. hate it you get mad but after the. touchdown in the fourth quarter less. than a minute left for him to you know. and I understand that could have been. fireworks yeah could have been. fireworks super so this guy's you know. there what of the could super ROM cand. yeah could have been a big old Roman.

because I know the Philadelphia Eagles. are probably sending off fireworks. whenever they score over here they got a. good building good good Barn over there. he said we just want a little bit of. that so instead instead of a 33 yard. extra point which is obviously much more. difficult than a 20 yard extra point it. used to be young wayu is tasked with. knocking down a 48 yard game-winning. one-point kick that's all it is and boom. right down his Center he misses that. though ohy uhoh now young wayu is a. great kicker I understand that he's. missed some kicks obviously l no no.

kicker has ever been completely perfect. but young wayu is a absolute dog he. knocks that right down the middle but if. he misses that kick Eagles come back and. win an overtime and they're talking. about on a side that guy was on a. sideline with his teammates not in. anybody's face I mean I guess if you. immediately think that's a gun that's on. you right that that is on you more so. than yeah that that is but for that to. be like that's a massive call 15 yards. for that kick at that moment it's like. all right I understand unless there was. a sent out like hey let's make sure.

let's make sure these guys aren't. celebrating too much things are getting. a little bit you remember there was a. time in the NFL where they said uh no. dancing that's right nobody's dancing. Foot Loose you better put your damn. socks all the way up to your thing we. want people to look the exact same we. don't want any flavor we don't want any. sauce we don't want any I identifying. factors that could separate you from. everybody else on the field and the. reason why that was an idea I think is. cuz they just wanted to be able to just. pick people up and then we can just.

replace them y okay it's number this. that is playing not this person they. didn't want any self [ __ ] which I. completely understand if you're trying. to run a business and replicate it just. forever and ever with that being said. the entire audience everybody watching. said this is kind of boring like uh we. need personalities we're actually. following along for some of the. theatrics for the passion for the. emotion and they change those rules back. if you remember there was an entire. swing uh of things coming can't be crazy. but you are allowed to be happy you did. something good you're allowed to do that.

again and now with these things. happening it's like yo come Jaylen Herz. we're on Monday this is a big stage huge. at home especially after everything that. happened last year with Jaylen Herz in. there for him to do that and them to. call it in technicality it is a penalty. and we're saying the same thing about. pass interference late in the fourth you. have to call it yada yada because it's a. rule but this just feels stupid to me to. let this be a penalty and then for the. thing at the end of the game to call. that it's like if that's a make good. penalty because of this okay vastly. different times and situations but we.

can't get into policing emotion and. passion we want that to happen everybody. talks about college football well they. love who they're playing for they they. love the passion you know it's different. than the NFL where they're just playing. for the paycheck now I don't know if. those people still feel that way with. how college football is going and. everything like that but that used to be. the thing then whenever guys showcase. emotion imp passion all of a sudden it's. a penalty it's like I don't like that I. like people to be pumped up I like and. and if people are Stone Cold Killers. after things they do cool let them do. that but the guys that are excited and.

pumped and want to dance and celebrate. if they're doing it with their teammates. and not towards the other team who cares. now I will not say anything negative. about last night because that was a. Prime Time game with a late fourth. quarter comeback and Kurt Cousins did. something that I think he has done on a. much more regular basis than people give. him credit for there's a stat that came. out last night oh yeah Kurt Cousins has. the second most final minute overtime. comeback drives since 2015 behind Derek. Carr which I'm surprised he didn't get. for touching the pet of his henus during.

to his celebration uh what the what did. he the pet of his the pet of his penis. yeah yeah you're right he did I mean and. did a uh and did a little move there but. Kurt Cousins you know in prime time has. been able to play good even though. people don't really give him that much. credit for it I uh I love the game last. night I enjoyed it all I watched the. Manning cast what's a big takeaway for. you dbch uh are you embarrassed by what. the Philadelphia Eagles defense did to. her cousins on that last Drive I mean.

how does that happen that was way way. way too easy if you run the clips you. throw them back up they're just easy. very very predictable you come out run. quarter quarter half that's quarters to. one side cover two to the other side. give Kirk a quick easy completion I was. watching The Man cast and they all all. three the quarterbacks are like hey get. an easy completion for the first play at. some point during the drive you want to. get an explosive I believe on the next. play Same coverage just flipped it so. cover two to the right side to the. rookie side he played the short route. let the Deep Corner in right behind him. once again way too easy then they go.

single high manto man and Kirk hits a. couple more guys so way too easy for. them to just walk it down and punch it. into the end zone you gave gave Philly. some time though gave Philly some time. they had a chance then J Jesse Bates. closed it out he's been worth every. penny since Atlanta brought him over. made some big plays early in the game. made the interception to seal it um at. the end with um hert storing it up but. uh it's a good great game I thought it. was a great game got kind of boring at. at some points but then picked it up in. the fourth quarter quarter well that's. why a man and when when you lose a game.

like this I mean all of us you know it. always you look at the last play and say. oh Slay Slay lost the game or saquan. when he dropped the ball cuz a lot of. people are saying run it but at the end. of the day that was a good play and. that's you're a big money player that's. why you bring saquan over you get him in. the flat he gets that first down it's. over Nick serani not taking the three. earlier so we can all look at ourselves. and point at different things of why we. lost the game but Atlanta went out there. and won it you know shout out to Kirk. cousin that's why they brought him over. paid that money and raah him and Kirk. got their first win as a Falcons yeah we.

have a request in to co uh talk to coach. Rahim Morris after his first big win. back with the Atlanta Falcons everybody. want him to run the ball because they. were having success run the ball but to. your point there dbut best play right. what's your best play right now cuz you. get a first down game over no timeouts. for Atlanta Falcons so here's a little. easy football math if the other team has. no timeouts and you have a first down. with the at the two-minute warning or. under game over so that is the goal is. to get to the two-minute warning with. the other team with no timeouts and you. have a first down so so you'll see a lot. of decisions get made to get to that.

point they get a first down right here. this is G this is game-winning play. right here so everybody's saying run the. ball run the ball kill the clock agree. agree agree but in sani's head and Kell. Moore's head who likes to run up the. scoreboard run up the numbers Mike. McCarthy talked about Kell Moore making. a decision to throw the ball instead of. run the ball a few times and he said. I've been there I've been like Kell. Moore I want to roll the scoreboard and. everything like that I think this is. what they thought was best play cuz if. he had been running the ball very well. look how sucked up everybody gets so. like that's that's easy hey here we're.

going to run it everybody gets up in. there he's wide open in the flat they. get a first down it's over so I I don't. hate that call as much as everybody else. seemingly did I will certainly chat with. Lombardi about it whenever you know he. comes out on the show on Thursday. because if that's a third stream running. back okay but it's say Quan bark like. that's Christian mcaffrey if that's. alvan Kamar like that's all right if I'm. a coordinator I'm play call hey let me. put the ball in my best player hand now. there is an element of risk every time. you pass the ball and when you have a. play like the tush push when you can run.

it and hey sequin get us at least two we. know if we have that one yard left I. like our chance to get it so I defin. 100% agree and understand to run the. ball run the ball but this is a great. play it's a great play design and the. got to have it situation bill you so. always talk about him and it's your best. player so I'm sure sequin you know he he. he he wants the opportunity again and. make up for it well it would have been a. great play right like it was a great. yeah it wasn't a great play because they. didn't get it it it would have been. awesome and like I I completely results. Orient exactly I.

am look you want to drain the clock. that's the that's the old school thing. to do and these new school dudes love. winning the game with their cool great. plays but like they do have two plays to. get two yards or excuse me they just. have to get two yards on that third down. and then the tush push is an automatic. first down it it has been it wasn't last. year right we got stopped a few times. last year kelse is not in anymore I mean. I wonder if there is a little bit of. worry now they got a touchdown earlier I. they R it to sucess but I wonder if.

there is a question on whether or not. can Jurgens is ask. downon but their whole entire thing like. serani what what was his thing with. Howie o line dline hoe o line dline so. it's like all right like you you paid. obviously you paid saquin and you're. trying to put in his hands where you. know running backs you can just you can. hand the ball to him and then you also. paid all those guys up front you just. gave dick Dickerson a bunch of money. this offseason milot Lane Johnson like I. would just think that a guy who yells is.

it o line dline hoe o line D line that. you would just decide like hey let's. just go behind the old line and let's. see what we can do and then if they. don't get it on that third down let's. say they do lose a couple yards then. what do they have they have a minute. left maybe 55 seconds to score I thought. it was asinine I I just did obviously. great play call I mean who would have. thought you know on a thirding that's. what that's what I'm saying that's just. like Gus Bradley Gus Bradley was. thinking everybody thinks going to run. the ball there's no way they actually.

run the ball cover deep it wasn't yeah. wasn't ready you know it's just like the. reasoning behind the play call I think. from Kell Moore standpoint as he's. explaining to serani why the clock was. stopped when the other team doesn't have. a timeout we only need to get three. yards over two is like hey that was best. play and all the things that you said is. probably why Kell says it we we have a. great offensive line saquon's been. pounding it that was an easy sell for. the Atlanta Falcons defense to all Buy. in and they did you know they they but. it's like that's a pitch and catch that. has happened thousands of times probably.

in saquon's life and in jaylen's life so. for it not to happen in that exact. moment obviously uh Murphy's lost what. could go wrong did go wrong they end up. kicking a field goal there uh go up six. could have been up nine uhhuh you know. right now granted you go back two. quarters and say that a decision made. then changes uh every other decision. that happens going forward possibly but. points are a premium right now I think. coaches are going to find out that you. got to take them I I think that is going. to become something there was a.

situation before the game that serani. might have thought man maybe I'm not on. the same page with anybody anyways maybe. serani didn't know Kell Mo was going to. call that play serion assumed it was. going to be a run you know OC head coach. maybe he wasn't listening maybe he was. you know uh ju up a boy we just won a. game who knows maybe Kell Moore has to. explain himself to serani but what about. serion son before the game I don't know. if you saw what was happening coach well. yeah I mean you know we're going out. there warming up a little bit and he. stands you know six yards away from me I. said [ __ ] go deep okay what what is. it go deep keep running keep running I.

mean granted his arm is not Lefty I I. don't remember my son being a lefty but. that he's he spins it pretty good but. but no I mean we're not [ __ ] around. here okay yeah the the the button hooks. yeah keep going go deep trying to warm. up my arm here okay you want to see what. jaylen's going to do tonight [ __ ] run. to the back of the endzone okay go deep. he's got his kids got a sequan Barkley. jersey which goes to John Mara's point. about saquon being the most popular the. most popular play on our team by far but.

coach Yani wanted to spin it a little. bit he wanted to he wanted to spin it a. little bit and uh his kid just wouldn't. back up it was you know interesting. watching that game kind of unfold you. know Jason Kelce returning to. Philadelphia was a fun thing to keep. track of throughout the entire day do. you see the big tattoo uh John oh man. teas and peas yeah I missed it think. about in his head though in his head he. tore his ACL chess bumping Jason Kelce. at Monday Night Football that's like the. perfect like the perfect moment those.

scars are going to be tatted now with. his face yeah probably Jason Kelce. wrapped around it maybe he maybe Jason. will do the surgery maybe there's a. chance but the tatted Philadelphia John. tore his ACL last night chess but IR Bam. Bam it's over he's got Philly fanatic. right there on his gut. yeah why I think I could jump I jumped. the years what I think now is the time. Santa Claus is up there Kelsey's got no. idea n just tore a guys's ACL he does he.

Today Show this morning national news he. was uh I believe very professional. stayed sober the entire time yeah a lot. of different opportunities for him to. house a garage Bureau 10 uh he had Dom's. Italian South Philly tuxedo on and he.

got I mean he got after gave it to him. just wait I mean he was yeah big Dom. gave him that cuz he forgot his clothes. tried to get to the locker room big Dom. opened the locker room told him he's not. allowed in there then big Dom uh told. Jason he has something for him it was a. South Philly tuxedo obviously l p is. down there had a couple chains on but. look at him that's sober I believe I. believe that is completely sober VI. that's phenomenal stuff I did not expect. it and uh Philadelphia went crazy for. him yeah hey how would this night end. you say Kurt Cousins marching right down.

the field right doing whatever the hell. he wanted and then a fireworks display. out of a hand yeah lot of Peace good on. Kurt hell yeah penic too the whole. situation they could be Brewing they go. 0 and two yeah right there and then. let's just say 0 and three somehow it's. going to get real loud to put the top 10. pick in there not only outside and media. and people that are trying to drive up a. little something but in the locker room. there's going to start being some. questions I saw somebody uh the Atlanta. Falcon social media asked who would be.

your uh Goose uh whenever they were. getting on the plane couple people said. uh Kirk Cousins couple people said I. forget some then I heard of Michael. penick's answer right and I was like. hold the phone okay so I don't know who. that particular player is I should have. done a little bit more research but they. already enjoy Michael pennic would say. that would be that and that's just a. natural thing especially this draft. class younger people might gravitate. towards panics more so if Kirk doesn't. win and I know they're saying he paid. million he's the guy he's the guy it's. like locker room also being like he's.

guy okay I get well we also got a guy. who we like a lot that's a huge win for. cousins in Atlanta I was glad he just. looked healthy you know he didn't look. 100% week one you know this week was. getting under Center more Danos getting. back to the root so that Falcons uh. offense getting under Center some more. play action some more Run game so I was. happy um to see that but uh your goose. what's that is that Top Gun M Goose you. know up obviously I know that's watched. rooster last I just said I love I love.

Goose's boy I know the movie I just. wanted to make sure may miss something I. didn't see the original to be clear no. what yeah I've never I've never seen. your P Pat I have don't tell him that. that might be worse than me not seeing. Chargers and the Pittsburgh Steelers Jim. Harbaugh was asked about his thoughts on. the Pittsburgh Steelers and this is. obviously the answer that Harbaugh chose. to give. um well playing against him as a player.

um just uh yeah there's a there's a aura. there you know that's uh and just. everybody I've ever met from Pittsburgh. you know uh I mean there's nobody on. this planet I have more respect for than. Ben Herbert and and he's from Pittsburgh. joh just I know the kind. of football people that come out of the. Berg you know it's uh hell yeah it's. it's it's real it's it's genuine it's. Unique you know uh just nothing but.

respect for it wow you guys are going to. clap for him when he comes out on field. on Su I was going to say he won over. quite a few yingers when he walks into. aasher on Sunday uh maybe a little bit. less of a hostile environment before. kickoff once kickoff happens that's all. out the window it doesn't matter what he. said but I am very very excited to for. that game Sunday because it feels like. it's going to be a Smashmouth old school. Harbaugh versus Tomlin type game I'm. very very excited for that yeah I'm very. EXC saided as well and obviously I'd. assume that Harbaugh and Coach Tomlin.

have massive respect for each other JK. Dobbins obviously we think he probably. going to be a pretty big part of the. entire game he loves uh playing against. Pittsburgh Steelers said that yesterday. and then Justin Herbert I know he's been. like pretty boy okay pretty boy kind of. quiet doesn't talk much he's got some. sauce listen to this from this past. weekend's game you see. there second down at four kill kill.

kill a little fire from Justin Herbert. soon as they go kill kill kill that. means they're going to the next play. which might mean we're going to the. other side so it might have been lined. up to go to the left kill kill kill. we're going to the right what does that. mean well lead blocker go ahead we're. moving we are moving so whenever. whenever he's saying go go go he's. talking to the fullback he's looking. forward hoping that will remind him then. whenever he turns his head and sees me.

come I mean what are we what are we even. doing here and having a little I like. that I like that a lot I love it and and. you can only assume this comes from hard. ball you being being around him. obviously you know firing him up pregame. we don't even see what we what's going. on behind the scenes as far as practices. going training camp kind of similar I. see Hardball coming in and having an. impact that kind of Mike McDaniel had on. tour obviously different players. different styles but we always talk. about the team taking taking on the. personality head coach it starts with.

that quarterback and Justin Herbert I. think we're seeing a different side of. him JK has kind of talked about him a. lot behind the scenes how he gets more. fired up than we see I love to see it I. love love love to see that from just her. saw it a little bit from luck would have. liked to see it a little bit more I. think some um some of us see more fired. up you know behind the scenes in the. Huddle because when you are that. quarterback I know a lot of them are you. know not as outwardly spoken hey going. to lead by example but you need you. watch Payton on the Man cast like you I. just watching him from the outside I'm. like yo I know this dude was a maniac to. play to to play with week in week out.

whether your coach on that staff a a. trainer an equipment guy like he just. raises everybody else's uh level and. like so I love to see that from Justin I. think it showcases confidence you know. and there's probably a lot of people. that probably would say differently that. haven't played in the sport he lost his. cool a little bit out there you know. that's what people say you there there's. potential that thought from somebody out. there not us obviously but like when I. saw that I immediately was like okay I. like that out Justin Herbert teammate. like that that is uh and even the guy.

that's getting you know chewed out at. the moment knows that he is a. sacrificial at this exact moment for how. we need everything to be you know. tightened up and then Harbaugh and. Herbert obviously week one had a little. bit of a miscommunication on a Dap up. hug Harbaugh wants to beat the [ __ ] out. of Herbert to wake him up a little bit. week two he said he'll be more prepared. for it in Carolina he took the beating. he took the pregame beating from hard. ball and uh you know a lot of questions. being asked about the Carolina Panthers. team it's like well maybe this is just a. different Chargers team remember the.

Chargers are always like this close yeah. yep literally for years like every game. yeah every game was like this close this. close this close they lose obviously. Keenan Allen in some pieces and Quinton. Johnson's now scoring two touchdowns the. game which nobody really thought but if. they are able to just eliminate one of. those you know this should be a vastly. different year for the Chargers than it. has been over the last what 10 years. seemingly for them it's like what if. Harbaugh is the difference what if him. um at the beginning of that question is.

exactly what that team is needed what. I have um goes back to the first half. fourth and goal from the four yard line. that they went for and my issue is this. dude if you just watch that drive that. happens and they get three out of it. first down nine yard run second down. they run an RPO they dump the ball to. the tight end first excuse me second and. one they take a shot it's not there easy. check down the next five plays they run. the football right down the field right. down the field right down the field they. get the third and goal from the four yd.

line for some reason they decide to. throw the football in that situation. it's when they they started sequin. outside they motioned sequin in he was. matched by a corner everybody on the. planet should know that's a zone defense. and they actually call a man beating. pass concept Atlanta plays Zone they. shut down the pass concept nowhere to. throw the football I sit there and go. kick the field goal you just had a good. drive it's Fourth and goal from the four. it's not fourth and goal from the one. take the points at home three nothing.

get a good start to your this yeah this. one now watch they're going to jam. you're trying to sell to the defense. same exact play same exact play and. you're really just trying to draw them. off sides seeing if you can get them to. quickly jump off sides then if that's. the case first down game over if they. don't jump off sides and you're trying. to again multiple different ways this is. a set package you might have shift. emotion you're trying to get them to. jump off sides if they don't you've bled. the clock all the way down you tell your. you tell your team we're not snapping. the football the only thing we do is. touch the offensive linan will touch the. corresponding guy jumps off sides you.

never snap the ball if they don't we. bleed the clock another 40 seconds and. uh we take a delay of game and we kick. the field goal and then there's 50. seconds left with no timeouts yeah. there's so many different ways to handle. that and the more we go through them all. and you're talking about that one. running up a hurry up and maybe they you. know do jump off sides cuz they're so. excited and Zed up but then you could. also run the play ran with saquan there. you know cuz that is a that is a sell of. a run which Atlanta bought got had to.

Terrell is awesome so like I think that. they're a very very good football team. if they play style-wise what they were. last night and I would think moving. forward they will go ahead AJ damn what.

about this Eagles defense that last. Drive Kirk just made it look too easy. you played quarterback for a long time. like what what should I guess what gives. you problems as a quarterback in a. situation like that like what would you. have done if you were a decoin right. then yeah I think the number one thing. that gives quarterbacks problems in. those two-minute situations if you don't. allow us to throw the ball kind of where. we need to I mean they start on first. down with a buck 40 and Kirk gets a. completion into the middle of the field.

because not only is he so young in the. NFL I think he's started like 18 games. in in his life since high school. football so he just needs so much game. reps um I think the you know like this. interception I I there's a couple things. that you could be honest about when it. comes to disappointment so far is one. mechanically just falling back there and. just floating the ball in the middle of. the field there there's no reason for. you to fall back there you're 6'4 250.

lbs that ball should be thrown to the. back right pylon with a to Alec it's. either Alec Pierce or ad Mitchell I. think or maybe it's Pitman Jr running. the post you should just launch that. ball with firm feet in your pocket not. drifting away and just floating it down. the field that that has to get corrected. um I think the other interception and I. know Anthony said I was trying to play. with anticipation. I I love that but you can't play with. assumption you you can't assume just. because you might look at that short end.

Justin hasn't done is is not hurt the. football team you know he just and. that's really growth in and kind of. maturation at that position that was one. of the things in relation to Justin that.

a lot of people and rightfully so would. point to kind of over the last year is. like oh man this guy just he holds the. football too long and he takes too many. sacks and while he can create big plays. here and there it's minimized because. you know that you're constantly in a. backed up situation or behind the chains. and I think Justin's really grown and. developed in that specific element now. part of it is because Arthur Smith has. done a fantastic job through two games. of not putting him in positions to I.

guess make a bad decision in regards to. that I do know this I know this like QB. and that's probably why the qbr is where. it is tone like that that's a little bit. why you know you can sometimes numbers. can say whatever you want them to say. type of thing um and some and I think. sacks are a big part of that I know this. every time through two weeks it feels. like he's thrown the ball downfield it's. been a successful play and a really big. play and thrown very well I think he. would have had another 100 yards this.

past weekend and two more touchdowns if. not for offensive penalties one on the. hold when he Sprints out to his right. and knocks the ball or bombs the ball. down to Pickins which is beautiful if. Patrick made that throw or Lamar Lamar. made that throw Jos made that throw you. know America would be losing their mind. he throws a touchdown to Pickins and. they call Pi OPI which I thought was a. little ticky tacky so um I think the. best thing is he's gotten the ball out. of his hands in efficient manner um he's. used his legs when he's needed to rather. than being so reliant on it he hasn't.

hurt their offense to get so far behind. the sticks I think Arthur's done a. really good job of Keepers meaning get. him outside the pocket the play action. which you know really like there's some. play actions that and dbut you know this. and AJ like you it's the full field. right like you got to see all the field. and then there's some play actions where. it really just cuts the field in half. like hey man you don't really have to. pay attention to one half the field we. can go one to two to three and that. forces quarterbacks to play a little. faster I think he's done a really good. job with that I've said this I think.

Justin should be their starter and I. think they could beat basically anybody. with them okay that's a huge past there. they can win a Super Bowl Justin. Fields I that's a stretch I I still. don't think they're exposive enough in. week five so you can beat anybody say. basically no yeah but I don't but I. don't think like they're explosive. enough to beat you know probably like. your Houston your Kansas. defensive line level to just play a. little sideways I think number two. they're committing to protection with. him a lot of their play action passes. last week were seven or eight man. protection you're you're making sure. that you're giving him clean Pockets. like Micah Parson's you know like in. basketball where you hear like where's. Micah on this one he's front side dude. you got a tackle going out to m and then. you have a back going on an outside Zone. fake to Mah's hit so that helps the. tackle that also forces just another.

body so you're you're minimizing that. best pass rusher Shahed is an absolute. burner um so I think you're seeing and. DBU you know this like the splits you. know you're you're creating leverage for. these guys no handson at that wide. receiver he's head up on that safety I. think Derek Carr has got a ton of. confidence in that right now and so I. think you know I'm obviously a massive. fan of this system it's the one I grew. up in I think all the great offenses in. the NFL basically outside of like Kansas. City uh run it and uh the best thing is.

it it forces every time a ball gets. snapped the defense plays with a. question mark rather than an exclamation. point so yeah that's what he meant by a. lot of danovsky the same system. everything and I will say that Bal to. pass game offensively I think two You. Know Travis has been asked to be a. little bit this was a little bit of the. case last year part of some of their. protection you know initially was you. know what the left tackle position their. left tackle struggling a little bit this. Travis has to init have to initially. chip or what not and I think three like. they're they're throwing the football. just a little bit less they are I you. know teams are playing them structurally. the way they have for the past couple of. Seasons uh I don't think the lack of. targets or production from Travis is.

going to be an issue we saw this last. year we saw it ramp up as the season was. going on new piece Xavier worthy a focus. point of trying to get him a little bit. involved in their to their passing game. as well so I I think this offense it's. it's cliche every year is different and. they're trying to figure out what. they're going to be on offense this year. yeah and Travis is saying who's afraid a. little old me you should be to defenses. and right now I'm afraid that our. fantasy team is going to be in trouble.

no no we are fine let me tell you why. because Travis understands that right. now it isn't about building up his. confidence it's about building up. rashi's confidence in that offense. Xavier Worthy's offense uh uh confidence. in this entire thing and when you think. about the Travis Kelce Rashid rice um. relationship I think herb Street said it. on our show maybe somebody else did they. talked about how Travis Kelce normally. goes and meets with the quarterbacks so. he knows his [ __ ] right I guess Travis. Kel is very diligent like watches the. most amount of film out of any tight end.

in history maybe and like I think grank. had a natural feel and figured it out. and he obviously had to put in an. immense amount of work but I guess. Travis Kelce understanding what. everybody's doing like a quarterback is. a big part of his game that's why he can. do the Travis Kelce [ __ ] and him and. Patrick Mahomes are on the same page I. guess he's brought Rashid rice with him. to those meetings now so I guess Rashid. rice is getting like a deep. understanding of like whole offense. whole defense how Tris why you're doing. what you're doing in there and uh I. think that is like a big brother little. brother situation that's kind of Brewing. over there which is not good for anybody.

sports uh basketball with Five Guys on. the court I think you've seen multiple. players over the years maybe one player. maybe one or two players on a squad be. able to dominate and win championships. baseball you can have a dominant pitcher. uh and win championships soccer you can. have a dominant forward Andor goalie. that seems to be a little more of a team. sport but you don't have 11 players. engaged at the same time on every play. it is truly uh a a sport reliant.

on every player on the field to do their. job in order to be successful and I. think that's why at times you know. certain star players can get uh maybe. too much credit and and maybe too much. blame on the flip side because it does. take so many players at the same time. I'm in three phases to win football. games uh and I think that's the beauty. and the draw of our sport is that. something new happens all the time.

because you are literally dealing with. 11 humans on the field at one time who. all have lives outside of football and. there's distractions there's a Reliance. on on coaching there's a Reliance on. Preparation there's a Reliance on diet. and performance um I think there's so. many facets to it that you see something. new every single week and I think that's. the beauty in our game uh when it comes. to the love that I have for it it's. rooted and I think like any any player. who's played for a long time the the. love is not just about our sport it's.

about. competition I think there's nothing in. the world for me that fills that need. and that hole I have like competition I. think we you know players played for a. long time at a high level you have that. uh need to be. iated uh competitively and and it's a. love of going out there and going. against guys and be an environment where.

you know that uh nothing is guaranteed. and that's why at times have taken uh. umbrage to people saying that it's easy. because it's not easy it's never easy. and I think that's the beauty in our. game is that you SE things new every. single week it's never easy and your. only thing you're guaranteed is is the. ability to. compete uh I love that aspect of I love. competing I love going out there and.

harnessing the fear of failure where I. think so many people who maybe don't. love football as much the root of that. is is deep uh fear of failure that you. might go out there and your best might. not be good enough and that's not okay. with you. I guess this entire time but as a coach. pay attention to her that I am y okay. I put this offense behind the chains we. are completely screwed he might be going. for sportsmanship player of the year. though cuz that is a thing and people do. look to try Arthur Ash Man of the Year. right yeah Walter Payton I believe but. Al also the AR the ESP. he might be going oh okay I don't know. could be going for everything obviously. uh what's the one in college because I. think gar green just gar green the All. State Good Guys first team that's what.

I'm talking about I'm telling you the. football guard should be blessing me the. team's on pulling for good. dude you pick good true that block that. that crackback block it was basically. Quinton Nels with a little more force on. a quarterback he just laid on the ground. called back a pick six Maybe that's why. he did that cuz he saw that happen in. college and he's like I'm I'm not. letting that happen yeah every exactly. even more say he's doing the right thing. and we're. losing why are we Fair catching at four.

at the four yard line I was delighted by. that yeah that was a great pun wheen uh. who was a member of our big old punt. segment first ever yep Irish lad he is. an Irish lad McQuade had eyes on him MC. m m had eyes had a great breakdown of. the Saints the other day it's a massive. did you see the segment earlier the big. old punt segment in fourth quarter late. in the fourth there were some big old. punts taking place helping out teams get. wins Cleveland Browns Cory borz hits one.

that goes out at the one I mean this is. massive this was this was unbelievable. up three this is a big deal legitimately. this is a massive punt here and then. safety takes place immediately. afterwards win the game shout out to. Cory borz yeah and uh corus waitman for. the Pittsburgh Steelers he had one late. in the fourth quarter too 18 seconds. let's just get this thing off and. instead okay let's pin him actually. let's hit a bomb here towards the. sideline he's not the starter he. replaced cam Johnson who was who was the. starter who unfortunately got hurt you. had weitman on the team though right uh.

I don't know if it was last year or two. years ago yeah he spent some Camp time. some time on the team before yes I'm. impressed by what he does with a. football I I've been very surprised that. he hasn't caught on with a team punting. is a hard if you don't have a job it's a. hard thing to get a job cuz there's not. a lot of spots now granted there are. some punters that will have a run of. like two to three weeks where they're. bad then all of a sudden okay one of the. 32 spots is open but how many punters. are trying for that one spot that's. opening and if you even if somebody has. two to three or four bad weeks in a row.

it's like how old are they have they. played playoff football before because. they're okay to go through a little bit. of a drought now and then in the biggest. moment not have somebody [ __ ] you. know or drop a snap or do anything like. that so it's hard to get into the league. it is very difficult to get a job. especially if you don't get drafted some. spots open up though you take advantage. of it feels like waitman is doing yeah. he was he was awesome it wasn't just. that one pun he was awesome all game and. he's an athlete too so it's nice H have. you ever seen a swing like Wayland in. Green Bay like as far as from yeah like.

I don't think I've ever seen so I think. that's a rugby I might be wrong but I. think in rugby the torpedo punt thing. that they try to do I think you got to. like flick it like I think he is like. that thing going 56 yard 59 yeah like. how the hell does he do that with it's. like a check swing yeah I've I it is. like a check swing and then he did it. for the pooch as well so I might I don't. know if that's just like his swing it. yeah it is that's phenomenal cuz the. follow through is what everybody talks. about I was never able to do the big. follow through because I couldn't touch. my toes my hamstring wasn't flexible.

enough so I had to jump up through these. things he's staying on the ground and. not swinging all the way through it and. hitting nukes I have no this kid might. have figured it out this kid might maybe. I'm able my years don't have to don't. have to blow out your knee if you don't. have to go all the way through hey whing. maybe we need to learn something I don't. think a lot of people are going to be. able to do what he's doing phenomenal. stuff out of him yeah big big punt at. the end uh joining us now ladies and. gentlemen is a man who had a chance to. celebrate his second ever win as a New.

York Jet quarterback just a few days ago. and look out got another game happening. on Thursday night the four time NFL MVP. legendary quarterback for the New York. Jets Aaron. Rogers how you doing pal hey good thanks. for being flexible today no thank you. Thursday Night Football short week we've. talked about how in the past we've had. to kind of Dodge duck dip dive and Dodge. our way through schedules how is this. particular Tuesday two days out and also. two days removed from second big win as.

just quarterback how do you feel how is. it yeah people forget the first one I. did actually when I sent you a text. congrats on your first big [ __ ] win. and then I saw the press conference it. was like o I'm the O I'm I I kind of. messed up congrats on both wins this one. though had to feel very very good how. long did you celebrate and how quickly. did you have to move on to Thursday. night which is kind of a a good thing. this early or a bad thing this early in. the season well three games in 11 days. is a lot but uh anytime you play on.

Thursday you always know you got a. little carot at the end of the week. which is the Friday Saturday Sunday off. so it's like a mini buy so we're just. you know grinding right now trying to. get to the Thursday you know have a. great performance hopefully and then get. to have a nice little weekend off but no. it was great I mean I think uh you know. it doesn't matter how you win in this. league a win is a win uh they're a real. good defense in Tennessee and I think. we're going to look back on this one. short week week two um on the road home.

opener for them and feel good about. coming away with the victory yeah it. felt like what you guys were doing with. that two-headed monster behind you is an. indicator of maybe what the offense. could look like this year can you talk. about the 20-year difference between you. and Allen which was obviously made note. of when you thre that and then Bree Hall. also being back fully to form what is it. like to have those two backs with you. well they're both studs you know it is. crazy I you know I heard about this kid. when he was at Wisconson he was 17 years. old playing on the field and now he sits.

in front of me in meetings he's 20. freaking years old doesn't turn 21 till. January so give him a lot of credit he's. a smart kid he's a tough kid I mean he's. fast enough to get around guys he's big. enough to run over you uh and he's good. in pass game you had a couple catches as. well I mean the screen that's an easy. one but had to catch out on the left as. well that was nice um he's a talented. kid ree is you know he's a do- it- all. guy he can play all three Downs he can. he can split out and tell him me throw. him a go ball you know he's just he's a. stud uh so really love having those guys. those guys are weapons for us uh we just.

got to find a way to get our best 11 on. the field sometimes just having both. those guys out there I loved hearing the. story of Bree Hall telling you like hey. if they got a backer on me I'm just. going to run a go throw it to me and you. just saying okay you got it and orlovski. was on in the last hour and he said the. fact that Bree Hall as young as he is is. as confident and comfortable to say that. to you is a big deal for the behind the. scenes of your team huh we uh we feel. pretty tight over there especially this. young into a. season yeah I mean I give him a lot of. credit I think last year he was dealing. with coming back from his uh his knee.

injury and uh you know he's still. obviously had a really good season for. us but he's he's looked like a different. player this year and he's got just. different comfort with the offense he's. so smart you know he's able to tell me. things like uh like that hey you know I. can run by this guy throw me a gold ball. um and I don't have to question it. because I know you know he knows what he. talking about so I give him a lot of. credit he's a smart smart guy he's a. tough Runner uh he had some tough yards. for us on on Sunday and he's going to be. a big part of our offense the entire. season go ahead AJ hey can you talk us.

through that third and one completion. the fourth quarter you had to uh Garrett. Wilson were you changing things at the. line Dan says you're changing things all. along and that the route was awesome The. Unbelievable throw and catch with this. whole play and what it meant to your. team yeah I mean they had just scored uh. to tie it up so we needed to put. something together there. um that was kind of a backyard play you. know um at the last second I you know I. noticed at zero we were running down the. clock it was Zero coverage so I just. made a little protection adjustment to.

make sure that I was going to have a. little bit of time and it's just on. Garrett to kind of figure out what x. angle he was going it seemed to me that. his X angle was a little bit flat so I. just threw it up the field a little bit. um you know he's uh that's an easy catch. for him but for the the The Mortals uh. that's not an easy. know he turns his head and and makes the. catch super fluid and easy that's what. he does I mean he's just he can do it. all um but uh I love the call uh we were. able to uh to make a slight adjustment.

there and it's just on you know Garrett. hey you got to win uh get open and and. I'll try and put in your spot but that. was a big play and and then the next big. play in the drive was second and 16 uh. throwing kind of a 50-50 ball out there. to Mike Williams that uh they got us a. first down there at the edge of the Red. Zone and allowed us to to score then our. defense you know up in the end how'd it. feel going through the entirety of the. game having to make those big plays. again in the fourth quarter you know. like obviously you're a competitor you. talk about and this is one of those. plays uh they were just talking about.

you're you've talked about your need to. compete and how much you love. competition and that's why you love the. NFL and you love football and yada y. like that whole thing fourth quarter got. to have it like that third one felt good. to be back in the moment you know I saw. some fist bumps uh back from the kid but. like did it feel good to be back out out. there yeah I felt great I mean to play. meaningful football to feel healthy you. know I had a big uh you know 2 and a. half yard scramble early in the game so. I felt like you know I was moving moving.

pretty good I got my average up to Zero. from uh from minus one there we go yards. per yards per carry which is huge but. listen I'm with the ball in my hands in. the fourth quarter you know that's and. that's why we uh we grow up dreaming. about playing football it's not uh you. know just to be out there uh handing. hand the ball off as to be able to make. adjustments on the Fly and and be called. upon to to make timely throws to win the. game and you know I'm thankful for that. you know we had a you know it is an easy. check but an easy check on the touchdown. run uh to to brilin we blocked it up.

great I thought ABT and Morgan did a. great job on the right side handing the. run through and I think conch was over. there with nice block Allen a nice block. and brillan just ran through an arm. tackle and scored but those are the. plays you want you want to be a you want. the ball in your hand in crunch time. making the right decisions to win a. football game so there's nothing like. competition there's nothing like being. out there in the moment being out there. in the fire and uh and having to play. your best in the most important time. yeah and I think the thing about you is. you're not scared to hand the ball off. though like you will like you've always.

been that way big Primadonna you know. [ __ ] ego this whole thing would hand. the ball off 40 times in a game if that. means you win like in that particular. game you go for like 176 we Inn a game. you all let's move along as opposed to. needing to get 250 300 every time it's. like you will check into the right play. every single time see you like that is. Aaron Rogers football well listen I'd. love to throw for 400 yards every game. but sometimes that's not that's not a. crazy the way we're playing that's not. the way we're playing you know it's.

about efficiency uh we just haven't had. a lot of plays the first two weeks you I. think I played 39 plays the first week. and this last week you know we're in the. 50 uh 50 range so we we got to do a. little bit better uh starting the game. out start a little faster um to get more. opportunities to throw the ball down the. field you know receivers want the ball. they want to get their yards get their. numbers um but uh at the end of the day. it's about taking care of the football. making the right decisions being good in. the checks and then being opportunistic. you know there's times in that you know. like we saw in the game third big third. down the fourth quarter you got to make. the right play um that's winning.

football taking care of the ball uh. being good on the checks uh being. efficient and and sometimes that's what. the numbers are going to look like but. at the end of the day uh there's a. little check in the win column that's. the most important thing yeah let's win. baby Jets need that and I think Jets. fans are all the way back you know. Michael Cole who was dancing with a. ledge and then you called him a legend. oh man and then he text do you know he's. texted everybody now and I quote legend. that is how he texted me immediately. after the show and I quote Legend thank.

Corners in your time Al Harris C Wood um. Tron Williams U and now you got saw and. Reed over there now but uh Chris. Gonzalez one of my favorite young. Corners in the league right now how do. you feel about him and how do you feel.

about top corners following like your. wide receiver one do you prefer that as. a quarterback or do you prefer like the. old bellich double one send my best. cover gu number two maybe you kill him. with number three with Devonte Adams. that one game like how do you feel about. that whole thing how do you feel about. Gonzo over there in New. England yeah I think he's a great player. I got uh uh he was in our rehab uh at. the Achilles Factory in the offseason. wasn't rehabing Achilles but uh but he. was out there got to know him just a. little bit I think he's a he's a great. kid he's super super talented I mean he.

is a an elite player um when a guy's. going to follow uh you know we call it. like Star coverage uh the respect level. for me goes up because uh especially. when those guys not only follow him on. the outside but follow him on the inside. because it's different playing playing a. corner on the outside and playing corner. on the inside playing the nickel. position because when you're in the. nickel you know you got a lot of two-way. go you got vertical you got outbreak you. got in break you got shaller cross you. got all the different route Concepts. that's why I always said wood is the.

best corner I've ever seen because he. could be an elite dominant player. outside and then go inside and be an. elite dominant player and that's just. it's hard to do in the league there's. not that many guys been able to do it. but um but I give those guys to do the. St coverage a lot of a lot of credit a. lot of respect uh and and Christian's. one of those guys you know who uh uh. enjoys the challenge enjoys competition. and we'll go side to side it's it's also. different playing right corner playing. left corner so a lot of respect of those. guys uh Bill his system uh coach Mayo. you know played against him now he's uh.

you know he's head coaching the league. and and obviously got those by those. boys going they had a big win in week. one against ciny and then you know had a. chance just got beaten overtime in week. two but uh division opponent obviously. early in the season short week a lot of. strain on on the body but really. important game especially when you look. back the standy late in the season. Patriots fan Connor actually has a. question about what you just mentioned. there yeah Aaron is it kind of surreal. going up against a team where the head. coach draw Mayo is someone you played. against I know in. 2010 uh yeah very old of course but I.

know in 2010 he had like 16 tackles. against the Packers I'm not sure if you. were Flyn were playing and then in 2014. I believe he was on the team as well but. is that something that's weird and then. also if you just want to kind of go into. how you and the Jets plan on attacking. the Patriots defense I'd love to hear. that as well I know 's listening. yeah yeah I don't know if I'm going to. go into that part there uh BC but uh it. is it means I've been around for a long. time I earn these grads right here uh.

playing for a long time and being alive. for a long time uh coach Mayo is not the. only uh player I've uh you know who's. coaching now that I played against. there's always I mean we had joint. practices and you seeing coaches on. staffs now that I played against the. Angelo Hall uh you know I played played. against him in college you know now he's. he's been coaching league for a little. bit uh Kevin okono used to be a workout. buddy of mine he's head coach in. Minnesota and there's uh you know down. in Houston uh Deo you know played.

against him when he was playing so. there's there's probably you know four. or five other ones that I haven't. thought about but there's a lot of. assistant coaches who are making the way. up who are guys that I played with or. against uh so it's it's beautiful Al. Harris you know been in the league for a. while coaching you know I was my. teammate for a long time and played. against him when he was in St Louis uh. which just doesn't have a football team. anymore so that's that's the way the. league goes you know there there's a lot. of change but thankfully one constant B. that I'm still playing and uh and still. in the league the standard deaf clips.

from back in the day I mean just it's. it's a it's a grainy film very grainy. yeah but somehow it was like 4K with. that bald guy with Creed somehow that. right is that the highest quality yeah. that clip was blessed by Creed and the. gods above they want everyone to see. that forever every time it pops up I. think myself that's a really clear. picture and then we watch like some. football highlights from that time and. it's like we're watching block. players all start that's Creed. difference baby that's Creed boom look.

at this is he's coming I mean when it's. Creed you know one of the greatest bands. of all time obviously you got to make. sure Scott has a has a real clear solo. shot you know look at good lighting too. in the middle of that thing good I mean. just phenomenal showman now this is the. show this is the guy. boom what's what that guy doing now we. got. period of time and obviously you and. Garrett kind of already seem there uh. like at that point but how how much uh. like how long does it take to develop. rapport with these other guys in terms. of knowing where they want the ball or. where like how you want them to break. out on routes and does that Rapport. develop quicker with game reps or like. what is that process like right now just. with it being you know your third game. this week I think it takes time it it it. takes uh it takes decent amount of time. these guys have only been with me for. two full games some of them Mike you.

know uh this is his first time with us. Allen been with us for a long time so he. knows uh you know him and I got a good. rapport but uh it takes time it takes uh. I call him anchor reps um where you can. make an anchor point to to lock in your. memory a lot of these happen in you know. practice you know in Training Camps. things have happened that we're going to. have to remember when we're out there. and the bullets are flying in live game. action but it does take time and and I. think we're still working through some. of that so I think you know we're uh you. know we're just going to keep getting.

better on offense as that chemistry. continues to flow and I thought there. were times where you know we did a. better job in Run game of some of our. you know reaching our angles and and the. backs trust in the blocks um but you. know there's still a lot of things to uh. to improve uh in both the pass game and. the Run game a lot of just takes reps. and it's it's those bankrupts those. anchor points that we can go back to. that happen in practice or happen in the. game that we can uh kind of hearken back. to as the season goes on but um but it. takes time um for everybody I would say.

except for Allan at this point because. we played so much ball together well you. guys still doing to me at the top we. still at yeah at at bro that's what it. is it's it's nothing else gu that's what. it is okay well I'm sure there's. certainly some thoughts on it from your. from your friends potentially you know. there is some thoughts on it all I mean. that is a huh oh inter wait a minute I. didn't even think about that oh had the. top all right good luck on Thursday we.

walkthroughs you know a lot of on a lot. of meeting stuff recovery stuff you know. all that type of stuff uh but those. short weeks interesting you're normally. going to get the most basic offenses yep. and the most basic defenses normally. because there's not a lot to kind of. game plan for but with this Jets team. you know and Hackett and Aaron kind of. knowing the offense inside and out what. should they be expecting especially with. this brillan Allen compliment he's like. this kid's a genius yeah this kid's 20. years old I was watching when he was 17. at Wisconsin doing his thing it's like.

I'm pumped to see this matchup I I think. this is going to be a great Thursday. night AFC East slugfest yeah that we're. going to be watching probably not ideal. but also like being able to put to rest. any questions about the achilles with. playing 11 games in 3 days to start the. season like I'm sure once they get. through that it's like okay like I'm. good like I kind of like there is. nothing wrong with this I'm ready to go. it's like Kirk Kirk got tackled last. night and people were on his legs it was. early he like did like a middle run. thing and there was like a tackle saw.

yeah third down I thought about that a. lot like as I was watching I was like o. this could be a time where he's like. worried about what happens got up and it. felt like as the game went on more. comfortable like those things you need. them and I think Aaron said on the. program he said you know me running for. one that'll be good that'll be good for. my my mentor you know me getting hit a. couple times that' be good for the. mentals cuz obviously he's 40 years old. played a long time like a long long time. in the NFL but after that injury even. the most confident human beings need to.

be reminded you know like still got it. also can still take it and can still. spin it like that's why I think that win. the other day is so big for Aaron. personally gigantic yeah imagine if they. lost that game and then they're they're. going into this short week 0 and2 say. hey we cannot start out 0 and three cuz. we know Michael Cole and all kinds of. people are going to be absolutely. distraught if that would happen there's. him taking a hit didn't see it spikes. the ball pissed not happy hey did you. see me get upset about um yeah yeah I. didn't like the ball spike the ball.

Spike I guess so I I agree like he. didn't do it at anybody but it's they. call it delay game correct yeah and it's. like a tech it is in the rule book I. guess cuz old buy hopped on and was like. it's in the rule you got to call it it. happens and then you got to call so yeah. I get that but he was just Juiced like. he was Juiced he meant nothing by it I. guess but I I guess I understand that. the other one. on the sideline is it because they. thought he was shooting a gun he was. shooting imaginary gun yeah but who says. it was a gun that's what I'm saying is. that why but if that that's what I'm. saying what it's not though couldn't.

they ask him hey what are you doing you. know I'm juster even fireworks maybe. it's a yeah maybe what if he's an arti. something like he's doing to his family. like his little kids it's their little. thing they do or something yeah it's. also not really taunting flying a kite. in the face and we go okay that that's. probably a penalty good acting job. really but man on the sideline with his. teammates in the fourth quarter you know. sending some the opponents none of his. opponents are anywhere near him either. they're going off the other side maybe. grass is greener him they were left for. dead they had a minute left and they. took 40 seconds to go down and score. like you know they should have let him. whip his dick out if he wanted. to could I don't think's on the sideline.

if he's on. theine that's what's wrong with you guys. have to ruin it it's a big deal it's a. great win being an adult being an adult. but with that being said let's not take. the emotion out of the agree we can't do. it they tried it once I talked about. that they tried it once when it was like. nobody's allowed d and that's when the. no more perfect City for CJ GJ than. Philadelphia last night Ray Ray mlod the. third is the most recent victim to fall. to CJ GJ getting under skin and into. brain and forcing you to punch him in. the face okay a lot of people say wow. must be an anomaly if you don't know CJ. GJ football it is not an anomaly uh CJ. GJ is a master at getting people off. their game he's just dancing having a. good time whims goes what what three. four punches you're ejected okay you're.

not going to be playing football tonight. this is a part of the CJ GJ football I. believe his teammates absolutely love. him if he was on the Indianapolis Colts. which I guess I don't think that would. ever happen seemingly I don't know if. that would ever happen but if he was I. would buy his jersey I think you love to. have him on your team but boy there's. never been somebody who's been more. hated by other teams in the history of. the NFL than CJ GJ I think yeah and that. is's a compliment to what he does but. Collective pay for playay type situation. Tennessee has actually started uh kind. of getting a head start on all this. stuff they are putting a 10% searge for. a talent fee on all their tickets. starting next season in 2025 they'll be.

upping the prices 10% and that money. will be going directly to uh money for. players in this entire thing which leads. to a further question of is this the. thing that's going to settle all this. [ __ ] I think there's a chance if there. is a school salary cap that happens and. I think it's 222% of the Blended rate. average rate of TV money merch money. ticket revenue and all that thing for.

all power confer all D1 schools so it's. like an average of it all what is and. it's 22% of that and I think a lot of. people are projecting that it'll be 20. million even though there have been. people that have said 22 million and are. they saying 22 million because they. heard 22% and immediately thought it was. 22 million like there's a lot of things. still to be figured out but they're. projecting a potential $20 million. School allowed cap for athletics it's. like does that fix everything if the. school's handling it then it's real. contracts then you know what there's a. real market for things and then the.

collective outside of that the nil stuff. out of that if you're able to get deals. and do all that you kind of do whatever. the hell you want to do but when it. comes to construction of rosters it's. like if there is like kind of a you know. a system on how it works could be good. for everybody definitely cuz right now. it's kind of [ __ ] but how's it let's. say you get let's say you get $20. million cap for your for the all the for. for All Sports what like Ohio state has. like 36 D like sports that they have to.

fund what another school might have 15. does the football get way like does. everybody have the same number so I. think it's going to depend on the. schools because I've talked about this. how's that going to work well it's going. to be voted by the schools I think on. where the money goes to so like there's. going to be some schools that are going. to be very much like yeah we're going to. put down. footall we know we know the schools that. are going to go all football but I think. there is a Max at a percentage I think. it's like 70% or something like that I. think there is a Max because the way. it's been laid out is as if it won't. happen but like there were some people. from Michigan I talked about they're.

like they take very serious the Olympic. sports very very serious the Olympic. sports they take a lot of pride in the. fact that they have a lot of Olympia I. mean Michael Phelps was there. representing Michigan it's like so that. $20 million the way it's going to be. allocated could potentially be different. at that particular School than somewhere. else like Ohio State what is Ohio State. gonna do with a lot of great women. sports there a lot of great uh I think. you guys have spread it around believe. me I promise you they will not be all in. to put it all towards football they will. absolutely spread around so I'll be. excited to see how that whole thing. works because then are is the school is.

the football. team allowed to utilize then MH like. outside money to have to but then you. can't because then you're not getting. rid of the outside money doing the. entire if you can do nil on top of it. then it doesn't matter then it's still. the same thing just Morey involved yeah. then it's just guaranteed money coming. from school happening and I think. there's 105 scholarships everywhere so. there's no walk on I think every every. roster spot is filled with a scholarship. I think is the new thing which is why.

people are scared they we're going to. lose Walk-Ons need Walk-Ons and then. their answer is like we're just giving. scholarships to who would be the. Walk-Ons it was like well there's still. still student athletes but when it comes. to money like college football is its. own category when we're talking about. college sports like even college. basketball massive for sure but a lot of. people don't care till March m not even. close like college football from week. zero till the national championship. people are living in dying with these. teams and they do at the end of the day. make so much more money than all the. other college sports like the LSU when. college football team provided to the. school with all their other sports and. it's not like they were bad at the other. sports it was just the college football. it's just bigger yeah you got 100,000. people everything else is in the red you. got 100,000 people buying tickets the TV. deals are gigantic football March. Madness uh to your point about men's. basketball uh and women's basketball I. think it makes a lot of money I think it. make the TV deal is pretty good but. there's so many teams involved way more. D1 teams so like how's it go so it'll.

get sorted but I think this uh school. cap is the next step in trying to figure. out all the chaos but with this brings. more yeah because it's kind of just it's. it's opening the door for people to pay. certain guys under the table if they're. over the cap and also so like w w no. that's all way just by just by a sheer. number you just mentioned it like. there's 105 guys on a football team like. they're they have to pay 5x more people. than any of these other sports have to.
