>> Hello, beautiful people and welcome to. our humble boat, the draft kings. thunderdome on this frozen frenzy. Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This sports. program begins now. Football happened last night in Los. Angeles in a huge way. I thought the. game had uh the fixings to be biblical, to be epic. The first half kind of lame. Okay, there was a couple special teams. blunders. There's a couple red zone.
stops. Had a couple field goals. There. was a a Josh Allen arm punt. Okay, basically a turnover. Still don't think. he should have done that. Think he. should have got a first down and tried. to move the sticks, but throwing it that. deep at that particular time with the. amount of time. Didn't think it was that. big of a deal. We get on at halftime, we. start chitchatting about, hey, Devonte. did a little something in the red zone. That's special. Buffalo found a little. something with maybe a little drop off. path to Ty Johnson. Uh obviously James. Cook has a 17yd scamper in there. Maybe. they find it in the second half or maybe. this just doesn't live up to the. billing. Well, second half was.
electrifying. The boys found it. The. boys figured it out. And this Josh Allen. character is somebody that might just be. the will to win in a human form. Now, is. what he's doing something that's going. to be able to carry him for 10 years? Is. he going to be able to play football. like this for until he's a 40-year-old. man? Honestly, I don't know. I have no. idea how he's able to handle all the. hits that he takes. I have no idea how. he's able to make the plays that he. makes. I have no idea how he's able to. do what he does. and he'll make a. bonehead play out of nowhere. Last week. he was in his own end zone. Threw the. ball backwards like this. Did he had no.
idea who that was there? No. Just threw. it like this because he didn't want to. get a safety. But a pick six is even. worse than a safety. He did not care in. that moment cuz he still has this. childish joy it seems like while he's. playing football. Every play could be. the play that could change the game and. he does it all the time. Congrats to. him. Congrats to Big Ball Bass for. making a gamewinner after having maybe a. little tough start. And congrats to the. Buffalo Bills getting a huge litmus test. win over the Los Angeles Rams who a lot. of people have questions about. But you. make a kick, you win that game. There's.
a lot of different situations that could. have happened where the Los Angeles Rams. come out of there victorious. Instead, they lose again, which a lot of people. are talking about. Miles Garrett still. not on the football field for them. We. have no idea whenever he's going to. return, what he's going to be. Aaron. Donald gets a fumble recovery, which we. appreciate. And the offense is doing. record-breaking [ __ ] and they're still. losing games. nine-year NFL vet, Darius. J. Butler. The building was electric. last night. There was a lot of Buffalo. Bills fans in there. There was a lot of. Los Angeles Rams fans in there. It did. feel like it was a bowl game type.
atmosphere, but both of them had a lot. to cheer for at different times. This. Los Angeles Rams team, they have so many. studs who had such great I mean, Blake. Corum ate a little bit, Karen Williams. ate a little bit, Devonte Puka went. crazy, record-breaking night. What do. you think about where the Rams are right. now? And is this a bigger story about. the Buffalo Bills and maybe just the. will to win that they have? >> I mean story about both quarterbacks, both teams. The Rams, like you said, offensively they did everything you. wanted them to do as far as moving the. ball. The Bills coming in, that was the. question. The Bills secondary have been.
picked apart and Matt Stafford's going. to come in there and be able to throw. the ball uh with the tight ends, the. running backs, the wide receivers that. he has. But Josh Allen, the way he was. just able to figure out a way to win the. game because he wasn't able to throw the. ball that well, that effectively. The. Rams are doing a great job kind of. dropping back, keeping a lot in front of. him. He wasn't really deciphering that. zone coverage. So, he just start tucking. the ball and running over 120 yards on. the ground. And it's a problem because. when you're in coverage, when you're a. defender, underneath defender, a deep. defender, you're kind of stuck in that. box. Okay, do I guard my guy? Do I guard.
my zone or do I kind of go and try to. tackle this mutant in the open field? So, he took advantage of that all. throughout the game. But like you said, both teams had legit opportunities to. win the game, and that's what you're. going to have when you have MVP. quarterbacks and good head coaches, but. the Bills found a way to get it done. >> You talk about this monster of a man, this freak that is Josh Allen. There. were some monster shots. I mean, he he. him and Kinchin stole stood straight up. I mean, that was a stalemate. Two bulls. running into each other and beating. right in the middle. A ram, if you will, and a bill, if you will, running into.
each other. >> And then that part right there. So, like, he's obviously big and strong, so. boom, this is the hit you're talking. about. But before that, you got land man. out there on the island in open space. So you got this big 240 250 lb athlete. kind of like Cam was. He can shake you. or run you over. >> So just lower the leverage there is. looking forward. So they're both looking. for that. But they immediately and this. is something I think that if I was an. offensive coordinator after watching. this more live, yeah, he can do that to. anybody. Lamb Man got some though, too. Oh yeah. L went from like six, seven.
yards off the ball and guess sorry. knew. exactly where to go. Blew a guy. I mean, it was one of the biggest shots we've. seen maybe since uh. >> uh and Derrick Henry maybe for and then. Lamb man was out in coverage 20 seconds. later. I don't know how these humans do. it but I don't know how you guys did it. >> There's been some monster collisions. this year. Oh yeah, >> it feels like we're getting bigger pop. now. We got bigger people on the field. Remember a lot more 13 personnel. Last. night I saw three of their uh tight ends.
doing pat and go. I don't know, maybe. six, seven, six. I I don't know what. they're listed at and if they're wearing. lifts like the the smaller wrestlers do. I I don't they I call them the triple. towers. It really look like that. And. they're getting it, too. I mean, they're. catching the ball off the ground. It's. like the athleticism for the size and. the speed that the NFL currently has is. outrageous. And Josh Allen is a great. depiction of all of that. Oh, yeah. And. what he's able to do with the Rock, what. Stafford's able to do with the Rock. thought last night could be an epic.
game. It turned into one and the Bills. get a massive dub. The toxic table's. here at Boston Connor and at Tai. Schmidt. The Bills window maybe always. going to be open with Josh Allen at. quarterback. Swagu Marcus Spears who. I've enjoyed getting to meet and know. and work alongside. His big takeaway. last night was Josh Allen can't be doing. this. Like this cannot be really. >> a sustainable winnable option. Whenever. James Cook is operating, which James. Cook's got to hang on to the ball, he he. is very good at football, unbelievable. at football. The ball is the program.
And because he is so good, they still. give him opportunities with the ball. He. has more fumbles than anybody that the. running back position. Th those were. crazy. He got away with a win last. night. Hopefully, this is a learning. lesson, nice reminder for him forever. because he is a special talent out of. the back field. But Marcus Spear's big. take was like need James Cook to get in. rhythm, then let Josh Allen do his. stuff, and then he'll work extra. Same. conversation with like Caleb Williams. Same conversation with a lot of the guys. who, you know, are great athletes, best. athletes on the field in their mind, always have been want to kind of do.
their own [ __ ] but a system is a. system. Feels like Joe Brady system is. like Josh Allen doing his thing. Is this. sustainable? And as a Patriots fan, what. are your thoughts at fresh off a win. over them, but what are your thoughts on. this Buffalo Bills team this year? I. >> I mean, I I think it's sustainable. I. think this is Josh Allen. >> Josh Allen is Josh Allen and Joe Brady. system is what it is. Josh Allen could. do what he does in any system. you know, he he is so good at football. I think my. biggest takeaway is if you're a defense, you have to play a perfect game. Like. the he had 120 yards on the ground, but.
half the time it was good coverage on. the back end, and then one guy up front. on the D line either overruns him, misses a tackle, and then he's gone. Like, if you don't play perfectly, if. you don't do, you know, the rushing. lanes you guys talk about all the time. against guys like Lamar, like you got to. stick to your rushing lanes cuz if you. go past him, all of a sudden he's out of. the pocket and he's gone. and he's going. to play well. When it comes to Josh, if. if you don't pitch a perfect game, he is. going to take advantage. And last. night's going to happen over and over. again. >> And man coverage, you're dead, right? Yep. >> Cuz you got your back to Josh. So, you.
got to go zone, >> but then for zone, you got to keep. people back. And if you don't flood the. box, then you don't have enough people. to keep Josh contained. And then Josh. has one of the strongest arms in ball. that they can get over top of you if. they need to. Shir looked. >> faster. He looked faster than ever last. night. Can you just talk a little bit. about that? Now, if you play man and. Josh sees your back, he's he's going to. come meet you. He's just going to come. chase you basically. But if you play. zone, you don't have enough people. Like, what is the way to stop Josh? >> That's why the mobile quarterback is. always the great equalizer. Like you. said, you can have a perfect down.
Everyone can be covered and then he can. just take off. So, yeah. And even in. zone coverage, a lot of zone coverage, especially NFL now, it's like kind of. like zone matches. So, yeah, I have a. zone, but once this guy gets into my. zone, especially if a quarterback is. extending the play, I have to kind of. plaster that guy. You always hear. plaster a lot. And if you're playing the. Bills, especially coming in last night. without DJ Moore and the we the the. corners, the cover guys that the Rams. have, you want to play man coverage. That's where you win cuz you don't think. that their receivers can beat you down. after down in man coverage. So if you. don't have a spy, and once again, a spy. is like we talk about Jeremiah Smith.
Like, yeah, on Friday it's going to look. great. We have two or three guys on. them, but then four goes up and make a. play, it's great having a spy on tape or. on film on Friday or Saturday to walk. through, but then when 17 actually gets. an open field, it's a whole different. ball game. the whole sustainability. question. Is it sustainable? We haven't. seen I guess quarterbacks win Super. Bowls with this style freestyle. >> You usually it's like hey you gota we. always say you got to be able to win. from the pocket. Even like early Lamar. Jackson it was like the big you know cry. for that system was hey put him in a. passing system where he can win and.
operate from the pocket. So yeah can but. Josh Allen has the ability to operate. from the pocket. So yeah, I can. understand what Swagger was saying and. you you talked about the hits like at. some point those when you seen Josh. Allen be great and win MVPs but somewhat. break down towards the end of the season. where he's a tough guy. He's going to. play games but you're not your full. self. So that's what a lot of people say. when you talk about the sustainability. of just that body throughout the NFL. season. But the way the things that he's. been able to do is just about him. getting over the hump now in the. playoffs. >> Yeah. Josh Allen you talk about him like.
every other position like he's banged up. like Yeah, he's banged up. What does. that mean? He's just not 100. what it. could be a rib, could be I mean he could. have a bruised thigh, could have. anything of the sort because he does. just go back and play. There's a lot of. pocket passers we've seen them. It's not. great. Okay. They survive though. Uh. where if anybody's close, they just go. down like little babies. >> I mean, they just. >> Oh, yeah. Right away. >> Like literally doing this like uh just. curl up into a little ball and whoever.
touches me gets a sack. Congratulations. Take like three hits a season. four hits. a season. >> Yeah. >> He's taken the equivalent of those four. hits that those guys take in one play. and then he's taking 40 more of them. >> He's not sliding either. >> ever. He's trying to Low Man wins. I get it. He's so tall and he's literally trying. to scoop under guys to run them over. It. is I mean he's a fe he's a he's an. anomaly. He's a phenomenon. I don't know. how he's going to survive. Hopefully he.
is able to forever. He's been able to do. it in the past. Can they win a Super. Bowl like this? They've been close. >> So close. >> They've been so close. And he is uh. Congratulations to him. First ever. overtime win. >> Yeah. >> We've seen some of the others. >> Mhm. >> Heartbreak. >> Yeah. >> For an entire time up there in Buffalo. >> Not many. I also like, and this uh will. not get chatted about enough. I like. that Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford. were the two captains for the coin toss. for overtime. I like that they were. representing their programs. Now, there.
is a conversation about quarterbacks. working with the offense coordinator. You know, let's try to get every last. piece of information as we're heading. into the most important part. Sometimes. you'll see specialists out there, I. specialist, which we will talk about. here in about a second or so about the. special teams aspect of everything going. on in LA. >> Big kickoff return. Just start that. entire thing. >> Y. >> miskick early. >> Yep. >> Miskick late. >> Some coverage stuff. >> That's a lot. Can't have that. But every. once in a while, you'll see like a. specialist out here, which you know, let's pick which way we want to go. You'll see somebody else from the team.
out there representing. I really liked. with how that game went and what that. game was that Josh Allen and Matthew. Stafford came out and just kind of. handled it. And I like that the ref was. just very clear that this is one, hey, this shit's over after this one. I don't. know if Washington got the same message. from their ref during the coin toss. If. that is what happened, we still don't. know. But I like that this is how this. started. I thought it was good for the. game last night. I thought last night. was good for the game. It. >> was great for the game. I like it too. And I you just mentioned it. I I wonder. did Jaden Daniels go out there for his.
coin toss time because it is and we I'm. sure we can find that that footage. because you do hear the rules, you know, one last time. A lot of times when. you're watching all the games you got on. the fourbox and listen to the audio, but. it is like that last reminder like, hey, end of this period, if it ends at the. tie, this is what it's going to be. So. yeah, I'd be interested to know if Jaden. Daniels went out there because, you. know, we everyone's talked about it, you. know, however many times. That was just. ridiculous. And we still don't know how. the hell that happens. >> Will we ever Somebody will have a.
podcast at some point and let us know. what happened. And to my point, uh, that. I was just talking about there a little. bit. >> Special teams for the Rams, I I mean, >> don't really fully comprehend what's. going on over there. Beas meas. one of the best kickers in the league. one of the purest hitting uh kickers in. the league. I mean, he was splitting. uprights, dead center for the Los. Angeles Rams. As soon as he got the. opportunity out of Missou. first Monday night football game, week. two, he missed one there. Misses a. couple last night. This one gets.
blocked. I guess that's going to happen. But the special teams was a real problem. for them. And I love Bubba, but that is. just abnormal for a team that has Super. Bowl odds as high as they do. Ty. >> Yeah. And this has kind of consistently. been a Rams thing over the last couple. years. like depending on what metric you. want to measure it by, but they've been. near the bottom of the NFL and special. teams all around. You mentioned it first. opening kickoff, the Bills take one back. 70 yards. And like I I would imagine. that Rams fans feel this too cuz like as. a Packers fan, I feel like I lived this. for so many years. It was like when you.
have so many superstars on both offense. and defense and you pay all that money. Exactly. there's not a lot to left over. to fill out your roster with like good. good really good special teamers and. yeah it it lost him the game last night. partially. Now there are other things. that happen but like this is the kind of. stuff that will always come back to bite. you in the ass in the playoffs. Always. I don't care what it is if it's a close. game like that. You give up a massive. return. You get a field goal blocked. You mentioned how you know MAS has. missed a couple. Like it it does kind of. seem like they just focus on like hey.
our offense is good enough. we know. we're going to score a bunch of points. and when we get healthy on defense like. we really it should never come down to. special teams but in the N in the NFL. like invariably at the most important. time it always comes down to special. teams and it it almost seems like. they're okay with that although I would. assume that Shawn McVey especially with. how pissed he was after the game last. night there's going to be some changes. >> whenever you get uh to the games of. importance when it's cold and when it's. playoffs if you can't stop the run. you're going to get exposed if your.
quarterback can't make a Third and seven. out. You're going to get exposed. And if. your special team is his ass, you're. going to get exposed now more than ever. Oh yeah, with the kickoffs having to. land inside the kick zone. Uh one half. of the hammer down. Cowboys AP tone. Uh. it goes over last night. It does. It. goes over which nobody could have. expected. And Bills get to cover and. dogs now continuing to cook on prime. time. >> Yeah. So there was some separate stats. out there. Obviously it went over. Everyone was on the over last night. The. last two time or the last time these two. teams played, uh it was 80 points. I. believe they scored over 80 points. Uh.
and then yeah, so different stats either. seven in a row or nine in a row. depending on how you had the Rams and. the Broncos game earlier in this year on. prime time. Go to the dogs straight up. like not even against the spread. Dogs. are going on the road. Dogs are at home. and dogs are dominating on prime time. You asked Debbuts why that's happening. yesterday. Not sure. I can't come up. with a great reason on why it's. happening other than, you know, there's. a lot of eyes on prime time. So, there's. a lot more action on prime time, and. there's a lot more people just taking. the public favorites, which are not. doing well this year. I had uh 32 43 and.
three if you're getting 50% or more of. the bets. If it's three points or more, 1123 and three. If it's seven points or. more, 41 12 and three if you're getting. 50% or more of the bets. So, fade the. public season is on, but the dogs are uh. dominating prime time. >> Yeah, fade the public. Fade. Last night, I got it right, which I'm pretty pumped. I feel very excited about that. Maybe. that carries into next week. It's been. hard to predict. >> Yeah. >> I mean, it's been really hard to. predict. I mean, I could have never. expected. >> what happened in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania this past weekend. >> Me a bunch of dog holding. >> I think you could have maybe. >> never. >> I think you could have maybe out. >> I don't I don't like the reaction to the. beginning of an intro. >> Okay, >> I'm I'm with you. I didn't expected you. Now, stats told us that that potentially. was gonna happen. >> 29 and eight was for sure gonna happen. >> I didn't see that. What stat was that. one you just. >> That's the Steelers versus the Colts all.
time. 29 and eight. >> What about there though. >> in in Hines? >> Yeah, sure. >> At the Sure. undefeated probably I. assume. >> And after London, I think teams are like. 0 and200. >> So maybe we could have expected what. happened in Pittsburgh. What we're. excited about is friend of the program, a man whose legs. are the size of Clyde Stales. >> Abnormally large bottom half because.
this man has had to bring bring the. power at the tight end position for the. Pittsburgh Steelers. He's in his sixth. season out of Penn State. He is a made. man. And JJ Watts said that coach. McCarthy told him he sees Pro Bowls in. this guy's future. Had two touchdowns. this past weekend. Has great hands. haven't always got a chance to showcase. them. This year feels like it might be. different. Ladies and gentlemen, Pat Fry. Moose. >> What's going on, bud? >> What's up, man? How we doing?
>> Did you think about letting the Colts. win because life sucked for us for a. long time or no? >> Nah, definitely not. We needed a win to. get back on track. We needed it. >> Yeah, I heard it was getting loud over. there in Pittsburgh. Obviously, we have. Yenszers around us that have been. chitchatting about every single football. season you've been a part of with. Pittsburgh. Let's talk about this. football season that you've been having. with Pittsburgh. Aaron Rogers, obviously. a big fan of you, the person this year. Feels like you're a more focal target in. the passing game. Do you feel that is. correct? And when did you realize that. was probably going to be the case?
>> Yeah, I definitely see myself as more of. a focal point of the offense. Uh. definitely probably in OTAAS in uh in. camp I started getting to kind of feel. that um Aaron and coach McCarthy were. going to use me and my strength. Um and. I just felt like it was just kind of a. natural process trying to lean on, you. know, the tight end room with me and uh. Darnell throughout the camp and OTAAS. >> Yeah, Mount Washington obviously has had. an incredible start of the season as. well. The Steelers offense has been. spectacular this year. Steelers fans a.
little befuddled about what's happening. as first downs are taking place and. touchdowns and uh winning by more than. one or two at all times. Is this a Mike. McCarthy kind of mindset, an offensive. head coach mindset? Why do you think the. offense is so prolific right now and. seemingly has all of Pittsburgh excited. to watch the games as opposed to holding. on for dear life? Yeah, I mean I think coach McCarthy has. done a great job of kind of um you know.
challenging the offense to go out there. and win games on offense instead of kind. of relying on the defense to um you know. win those games for us. So I feel like. we're playing some good culinary team. football right now and we just got to. continue to keep going. >> What's Mike McCarthy like dayto-day? What were your expectations of what he. was going to be like and then what is he. actually like? Uh yeah, I mean I thought he was going. to be extremely detailed and he. definitely is that. Our schedules are. very detailed, very oriented. Um you. know, we're we're we're in there.
throughout the day and and and really. going through meetings throughout the. whole day and very structured, which is. good. Um I think the guys have been. pretty responsive towards it. And yeah, he's definitely everything I expected. I. didn't expect his Pittsburgh accent to. be as thick as as it is, but it's uh. it's pretty it's pretty thick in uh you. know the offensive meetings and the team. installs. >> So he sees Pro Bowls in your future. JJ. Watt said that. And then you have a. quote that said you think you and Mount. Washington are the best tight end duo in.
the league. Mike McCarthy's offenses. have been successful since the. beginning. I'm happy that's continuing, especially for you guys in Pittsburgh. defense continuing to do their thing. AP. Tone flying real hot fri boats around. this Thunderdome. >> Yes, he is. >> Yes, he is. >> Yeah, thank you. Yeah, thank you. I. really appreciate that. Sunday nights. are a lot better. My wife and and kids. aren't avoiding me, so that's cool. Um, no. Uh, what I wanted to. >> Same. I wanted to ask you about getting. under center when it's fourth, third,
and one. Uh, I see you get under center. and then Big Mount Washington's behind. you. It's almost a guarantee at this. point. When did that happen? Um, and I. heard Aaron maybe was teaching you how. to take snaps. >> Yeah, they kind of approached me during. camp and asked if I uh if I've ever. taken a snap under a center and I. haven't since sophomore year at my high. school under the Wing T offense. And uh. I didn't tell him this, but I probably. averaged, you know, a fumble or two a. game just off this center quarterback. exchange. But uh yeah, went to Aaron and.
approached him about how to take a snap. and he's been pretty good telling me and. uh kind of found a a kind of hand. placement that I like and so it's been. good. >> Sweet spot there with Frasier. I I took. some snaps as. >> as third stringer and uh for the Colts. every week. Had to do a couple. You're. doing this every week. How many snaps. you taking a week? >> Yeah, every day. probably between 5 and. 10 every day and different different. footwork and it's been good. It's been. good. >> How's the cadence? You got any hard.
counts in you? >> Not yet. I I've perfected the cadence. I. feel like I think everyone's pretty. happy about it. That was my biggest. anxiety. Still is probably before every. play is making sure the cadence is good. for the O line. So, they'll be McCormack. will tell me if it if it sucks. So, it. has he hasn't told me yet. >> Is he the one? Right guard. >> Yeah. >> So, left guard. Left guard. >> He's the left guard. Left guard. >> Is he the one toss guy? >> Yep. Mhm. >> What's his problem? He He needs to relax. out there. He's tossing Colts around and. screaming and laughing in their face. I.
don't like anything about it. >> Yeah. When he came out of college, there. was a sick highlight tape of him out of. South Dakota State. I believe it was to. some heavy metal rock. Yeah. He's an. absolute looney. >> laughing. Yeah. This guy, this guy. having a time of his life playing. against the Colts having. >> he's been riding a little high since the. whole Dexter Lawrence and he created a. new technique and so he's been riding. pretty high. We got to bring him back. down. He's been He's been doing great, man. He's been doing great. >> Yeah, he's been flying real high since. everybody told him he's not allowed what.
he uh to do what he did at all, but he. didn't get called for it a single time, so who cares? What a legend. Good for. you guys. Uh vibes seemingly immaculate. with that guy all the time. Uh how about. around the building? Conor has a. question for you. >> Yeah, Muth. Another year with Aaron. Rogers and you know, he said before the. season, "Hey, this is it. No matter. what, this is my last season." Has there. been a better vibe, different vibe with. Aaron? Do you see him a little more. nostalgic, sentimental on a week- toeek. basis knowing that every single week is. kind of last week one, last week two, last week three, and so on?
>> No, definitely not. He's focused on uh. winning the Super Bowl this year, and. he's put every uh everything uh in front. of the table, all his chips on the table. every single day, and he's been uh he's. been great, and uh he's he's been. consistent since he's been here last. year. And, you know, he uh he expects. greatness from everyone every single day. in practice. And I think that's what. stands out to me the most about him is. he's 42 years old, playing in the league. for what, 22 years. And probably does he. deserve a vet day Wednesdays and maybe.
Thursdays? Absolutely. But he's out. there every single day practicing uh. holding us to a high standard. So how. can you not go out there every single. day and practice your ass off for a guy. who's who probably shouldn't be out. there on have a vet day, get healthy for. game day, but he's out there, you know, really pushing us. >> No G days for Aaron Roger. I didn't even. think about that. He does not take a G. He loves to practice. He loves to. practice. And which is great. Which is. great. You need that as your as a. quarterback on your team. >> There's a lot of guys on your team that. are taking a lot of G days that all of a. sudden Aaron comes in, it's like, [ __ ]. this guy just ruined. This guy just.
ruined this for us. I don't love that. he's moved. Look at this. What is this. Frier Mouth? You guys running with him. extra so he can do [ __ ] like from it's. uh 2014 again. What was this all about? >> A little no look. Yeah, he made sure. everyone was uh was aware of what he. did. It was uh pretty impressive. It was. I thought it was going to be incomp. completion cuz I was on the other side. of the field and then I saw the crowd. explode and germ go up about 25 yards. >> Yeah, it had to be a lot of fun, man. I'm sure it was an absolute blast.
>> It was great, man. It was great. >> Yeah, >> it was great. >> Yeah, I'm happy you had a great Sunday, Moose. Happy everybody over there in. Pittsburgh's having an absolute blast. What's the record against the Colts? >> Uh 29 and eight, I believe, now. >> Jesus Christ. Yikes. >> It's a tough record. I've only lost him. once and we played him like every year. So, >> whatever. >> Thanks, M. All right. Listen, with you. around, I don't know how anybody could. have. >> in the building at uh Lucas Oil. >> Oh, yeah. I remember. And who? Joe. Flacco came in, didn't Joe Flacco? No.
>> Yeah. >> For you guys, >> cuz remember Tomlin came in. >> Yeah. >> Because I guess Tomlin told the defense, "Hey, >> whatever we do, >> we keep starting quarterback in. >> We do not let Joe Flacco coming in." If. I do recall, And then Flaco did come in. >> Yeah. Okay. I remember that. Let's live. in those days. Yeah, those are good. times. Uh good times. People reuniting. Go ahead, Ty. >> Yeah, Muth. One of my uh favorite things. watching Aaron play is when he gets all. fiery and starts [ __ ] guys on.
the offense. And obviously there was the. big thing on Thursday night with him and. coach McCarthy kind of going back and. forth to each other. Like, do they just. bicker like a married couple all week. long? And does that lead into the games? And also, have you caught any uh. shrapnel from him, you know, throughout. the process of the game? Cuz I feel like. typically when he's really given it to a. guy like that, it either means, hey, I'm. not going to throw to this guy again. today or I'm going to force feed this. guy for the rest of the day. >> Yeah, I've been on a couple ends of the. the ass chewins from from Aaron. It's.
definitely not fun. Definitely don't. recommend it for anyone that comes into. Pittsburgh. But, uh, I mean, it's all. out of love. It's all because he wants. the best for you and he he he sees. something on the defense that he thinks. he can exploit and you know if you're. the guy that he asked to call in that. situation he expects you to be there on. time and so um you know it's it's it's. definitely tough to get on that same. page as him but once you do the sky's. the limit and I think I'm you know not. only me but Germ and DK and and Darnell. were really you know reaping the.
benefits of that and uh no co they don't. really [ __ ] too much during the week. Uh we don't really feed too much into. it. There's a different relationship. between him and and coach McCarthy. They've been together for so many years. and so we don't really bad and I they. have their little relationship that they. like to have and do all that and so. we're just kind of keep it pushing. >> All right, you guys you guys are going. to get to the bottom of this. Can we get. to the bottom of this? >> Thank you. All right, here we go. Let's. move along. It has worked out very well. for the first five weeks here. >> There's been some down times. There's.
going to be some downtimes in the. season, but man, if you didn't think. that the Steelers had a chance with a. 42-y old quarterback for the before the. season started now. It feels like. everybody's back on board with what's. happening and the tight end room is a. massive piece of it. Go ahead, Debb. >> Yeah, you said you guys got the best. tight end room, but just looking around. the league, it seems like every team now. has two or three tight ends that they. depend on week in and week out. I just. want to know from your uh vantage point, how do you feel like that position has. changed throughout the league? And how. has it changed for you personally. throughout your six years now in the.
NFL? >> Yeah, I mean I think the biggest. misconception that I had coming into the. league was kind of just like in college. they kind of just split me out and I. blocked a little bit but it was more so. you know a pass catch and tight end. And. you know I think in coming to the NFL it. was like okay we're going to just do the. same thing but slowly realized how much. of an importance it is you know run. blocking and being able to block so you. can not give keys to the defense. And. so, you know, when Darnell got here, I. think I feel like our games were very on.
the complete opposite spectrum. I think. he was dominating the run game and had. to develop in the pass game and me on. the complete opposite side. So, I think. this year it's kind of really come. together where, you know, he's really. developed really well in both areas and. and same with me. And so, now we can. really go out there on offense and kind. of not give tells to the defense as if. we're going to run to my side, if we're. going to run to his side, or if he's. running a route or if I'm staying a. block. And so, you know, I think we. really work well off each other. When. you see Darnell get the rock, do you are.
you as baffled as we all are? When he it. was Georgia, I think the first time I. saw him, he was running like a drag. route and Brock Bowowers was running. clear out and Darnell was just in the. block. Basically, Darnell was an extra. tackle and then Bowowers, Brock Bowers. was their tight end. >> Brock Bowers broke every record. reception. >> Darnell was just moving people. But. every once in a while, everybody would. go to Brock and then Darnell would get. the ball and as soon as he got it, it. was like a big man touchdown. you're. watching an offensive tackle get the. ball, then he starts moving, then he can. jump and everything he has been able to.
do at Georgia, he's been able to do that. even more in the NFL. The the fact that. both of you can get going and get loose. and both of you can block from the Colts. perspective seemingly unstoppable, you. know, and I don't think they're the only. ones. This is modern NFL right now, though. Last night, 13 personnel. everywhere. I I I mean, it is. And I. think to the evolution of the tight end. position, I think that's a big reason. why. Do you feel it across the NFL? Do. tight ends understand that you guys are. becoming the new X factor basically? And. I assume contracts will start to be.
synonymous with that. Not that you're. paid well, but what wide receivers make. and what tackles make, but you guys are. both of those is just vastly different. than what tight ends make. But it feels. like the tight end position is the X. factor in games right now. Do you agree. with that? >> Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I feel like. when you can get, you know, two or three. really good tight ends, you can dictate. what the defense can really do. Um, you. know, if they're going to try and match. personnel and base defense with, you. know, you have three comfortable guys. that you can win on man coverage, then. you can really spread them out and.
>> Oh, we lost them. Talking about tight. ends, this is the problem. >> Pick mismatches of, you know, who would. be their weakest linebacker on either. Darnell or Yeah, you I can get going on. this. So, it's been it's been great. And. if they're going to play nickel. personnel or or anything like that, any. small personnel, then we're just going. to line up and, you know, run the ball. down your throat. Pause. >> Last year, >> good word. Just going to pound your. throat. >> Just pound your throat. Pound your. throat. That's what Steelers are going. to do. >> Hey, Pittsburgh Steelers going to pound.
your throat. >> Especially the Colts. >> That's what. >> records. records would indicate. >> Unbelievable. Last year, a lot of six. offensive linemen. Lot of six offensive. linemen last year for the Steelers. We. saw that pretty early. This year, tight. ends doing that, but it feels different. up front. Tone has a question for you, Moose. >> Yeah, Pat. Obviously week three, Brock. and Big Max come in on the on the right. side and it feels like Jaylen Warren. since then has gone off for like 160 a. game. What was it like when that for you.
guys as an offense when the offensive. line change was made and then blocking. for this guy who just, you know, makes. big plays every single game? >> Yeah, I mean, you know, putting Brock. and and Max in the lineup, they. definitely created a nice little sense. of uh shit-talking, I should say, out. there. Brock is is [ __ ] talking every. single play. And I think it's they bring. the energy, they bring the juice, and so. anytime you get a a hat on a hat with. especially with giving the ball to to. Jaylen, he's going to make a bunch of. people miss and he's going to he's going. to get loose and score a touchdown. Um.
I'm just happy DK didn't trip him on the. long 80 yard touchdown cuz DK was really. blocking his ass off on that. So uh no, I'm h every time you can get Jen on the. ball and Aaron knows I mean this play. right here, just get it to him real. quick and he can take it 80 yards to the. house just like that. So he's great. He's he's definitely one of the. underrated backs and I'm super happy for. him to get all the recognition that he's. getting so far. So, uh it's it's been. fun. >> You're an underappreciated tight end in. the league. Pittsburgh appreciates you. though. We've already been paid. It's. only going to continue to grow. Leg day.
every day or what are we? They're saying. your legs are getting smaller. >> No, I was in there squatting yesterday. So, definitely not getting definitely. not getting smaller. So, >> jeez. >> I we don't have to have you on a screen. while we do this, but we would like you. to hear this. Weren't they abnormally. weirdly sized? Wider than my whole body. >> I was standing next to him for a while. >> You know, there's like some of those uh. now with the modern science, there's. some of these people that you could tell. that just get like surgeries. Sorry. First series.
are like this. >> Uhhuh. >> And then it just goes like this and it. goes down and then it goes like this. Yeah. And it goes down. >> He's kind of like his body goes like. this and then it his [ __ ] just goes like. that and then it goes down to his cal. It's It's abnormal how big his [ __ ]. legs are. >> Huge. >> Happy it's still happening, brother. Good for you. >> I appreciate it. I appreciate it, man. I. appreciate it. >> And now those now those big ass trunks. are running. >> Mhm. >> all over the place. >> This guy's going to make Pro Bowl some.
Must be nice. Yep. >> That's what Mike McCarthy is going to. say. >> Hopefully. >> All right. Good luck, Pat. >> And his nice Pittsburgh Pittsburgh. accent, huh? >> Do you guys get confused by what he's. saying? Is there a come again? Is there. any of those? >> Sometimes. You'll have to ask Aaron. about that with his headset, but. sometimes. >> Oh, is that what he was saying to. >> Can't. >> Is that what he was telling him at that. moment whenever they had their. >> I have no I'm not in the headset. I. don't know. >> Yeah, smart got to be, man. That's good. idea. Pat Fryman, ladies. >> Yeah.
>> Abnormal. >> Huge. >> Huge. It makes sense that he was a go. blocker, >> but them utilizing him in the pass game. has become a real weapon in Darnell. being able to do it on both sides. And. then DK's able to go and then Jaylen's. able to go and if you guys get Pitman. back. >> Yeah, he's on IR, but he'll be back. >> Okay, so you get him back. That's. another weapon that you guys have. >> P Steelers offense. >> could be very good this coming along. >> Yeah, luckily Germs starting to come. along. >> Much better life as a Steelers fan right. now. >> Oh, dude, it's unbelievable. like I I.
posted a for um I don't want to re. overreact but just a simple you know dig. route over the middle that like didn't. exist for the last five years and it's. just nice to have that you know. opportunity to have someone who's. calling plays who's been in the Super. Bowl has been really good in offensive. schemes for a long long time. Yeah, it's. nice. It's uh it's it's really nice to. have an actual real offense in the NFL. >> Okay. Well, congrats to you guys. Colts. have that as well. >> They got a guy. >> Yeah, we do. Tyler Warren big day. >> We got scared. >> You know who's unbelievable?
>> You know who's unbelievable for that. team? >> I'm scared. We stink. I I don't like it. >> Two and three. >> Two and 10. >> No. No. You see you're going too far. >> Two and 10. >> There's that ball. Spencer Shrader might. be the best kicker in the NFL. >> And he's from Indiana. >> Yep. >> Okay. >> I love that dude. >> They kept settling for field goals and. not even a doubt like back to back 56. yards. >> Broke his leg. >> Mhm. >> Broke his leg. I think I don't know if. it was a knee, but a terrible injury to. his leg. We bring in little uh Blake. groupy. He doesn't miss. Then little.
Blake Groupy and Spencer Shrader. battling in training camp and. call him Little. >> Come on. >> Might be the next kicker of the LA Rams. Look out. >> Seriously, he should be. >> That' be a hell of a. >> Yeah, it would. >> Yeah. Thicker kicker to little Blake. Grubby. >> I'm tired of this [ __ ] Little Blake. groupy hit a 60 yard against Seattle in. Seattle to win the game for us. I. thought Spencer Shreder was never coming. back and Spencer Shreder still has yet. to miss. Unbelievable stuff. Lil Blake.
Groupy needs to be on a team though. What he did for the Colts. >> Jeez Louise. >> You guys are tired, man. I'm sick of the. >> No. No. Little Blake Groupy. I called. him Triple Pylons, but Little Blake. Groupy. >> Hey, triple pylons is crazy cuz I think. it's two and a half. But the the Blake, he is not supposed to be as good of a. kicker as he is. It's. >> unbelievable. >> He He is actually unbelievable. >> When you see this Blake, we love him. Okay. I don't want. >> Blake knows we love him, but we have. told him in person. We have celebrated.
him, >> but he is abnormally small on a football. field. What were you saying? >> No. >> Oh, no. I heard singing out loud. >> Oh, jeez. I just got that. Debbie, come. on. Will Blake Rupy is probably going to. be the kicker for the Rams, >> but it's easy come easy go at the. kicking position. >> Meas. going into the first Monday Night. Football, which was week two after they. come back from Australia. A lot of. people telling us like, "Hey, would like. for you guys to mention Meas and how. good he has been for the Los Angeles. Rams because they've been through a lot.
of kickers. He's like their fourth. kicker in the last like three years. They have the most miskicks out of any. team over the last like four years, the. Rams do. So, Meas had been great for. them over there. like a savior for their. team, like we need a kicker, we got a. kicker. This year, it's just not been. like that at all. How funny the. narrative can change from week two to. week five on a kicking position. All you. need is a couple misses, punting. position, especially if you're a. tweeter. Uh, a couple misses and all of. a sudden you're out the door. That's why. any of these sustained success kickers,
it's like every week they've done Nick. Faulk. >> Yeah. He's been doing it for a hundred. years and every time he goes out there. you expect him to make it at the Jets, at the Patriots, now he's at the Falcons. kicking indoor. He's got to feel. wonderful down there. Vinitary 22 years. doing it. Like Justin Tucker was on. track to potentially become greatest. kicker of all time. >> Yeah. >> Then he falls off for a year, then he. can't get back on a team. Now a lot of. things happen. Whatever the case. So, I. always said like if Tucker's able to do. this for 20 years,
>> then we can talk about him being better. than Vinnie because the sustained. consistency of greatness is what it is. at the kicking position and Meas, he'll. get another opportunity. Hopefully, he'll get hot somewhere or the Rams. stick with him and he gets hot again, which can happen, but it becomes like uh. one of those like who gets hot when gets. hot, how you get hot, and then if you. can stay hot for five years, you have a. fiveyear career. If you can stay hot for. 10 years, you have a 10- year career. If. you can stay hot for 20 years, you have. a 20-year career. >> because Yeah, you go to the Hall. They.
don't really have like a lot of patience. normally with these types of misses. But. to your point earlier, >> the way the Rams have set up their. salary cap in their roster, a lot of. high-end, highest paid, highest paid, highest paid, highest paid, highest. paid, that means you got rookie men, not. even vet, you got rookie men in a lot of. positions that are playing special. teams. So if you need to cover an. opening kickoff, you probably got a guy. that is third, fourth string maybe in. some places at linebacker covering a. kick there. That's going to give just. like the Eagles.
>> They got a lot of money up there as. well. So you got like some low. >> guys on the roster making huge plays for. you. You're going to have to have great. kicker, great punter. And you Packers. got that fixed, don't you? >> Yeah, they actually they're uh Tracemack. missed two field goals this week, which. you know in most weeks that would show. up and wouldn't be great. Didn't really. matter this week. But like I they're uh. they're new special teams coordinator. and they're in the top half of the NFL. at least so far. Yeah, he's a very fiery. guy. But yeah, it literally was you. watch every week and it was like all. right, at what point are they going to. give up an 80 yard kick return or what.
at what point is this team going to take. a punt back to the house? It was just. week in and week out. Like it's it's a. terrible way to watch a football game. actually. >> Yeah, tonight huge night for the NHL. It's called the frozen frenzy. >> and it is frantic. Dut. >> Oh yeah. >> 32 teams in the league. >> Mhm. Mhm. >> Guess how many games. >> 16. >> What? >> That would be everybody. >> I know. P. >> Yeah. Everybody's playing tonight. There. will be 16 winning NHL franchises today.
>> Yep. >> And 16 losing NHL franchises today. Now, you can't get a point if it goes to. overtime and then it goes into shootout, but they're going to have a winner cuz. it's 2026 and it's sports. We shouldn't. be able to tie. got to know that a tie's. an option if you're on a football field. But I appreciate that hockeyy's on full. display today. There is every team in. the league going to do something special. and magical. If you don't have a team, today's a great day to sit down, find. one. There's going to be electrifying.
players all across the country and. Canada. There's people who got dangles. that'll look like absolute wizards. There's power coming from shots that you. think a cannon is actually been shot. And then there's going to be fisticuffs. and physicality. That's going to remind. you of the old days whenever guys used. to go outside and settle their. differences. >> Hockey is awesome and today is a great. time for you to find out about that if. you're not a fan. Nick, what are some of. the storylines I saw? Um I saw uh. Ovuchetkin scored another goal.
>> 930 for his career now. >> It's a lot. >> So many so many goals. That's the most. He is the the most. Sydney Crosby still. doing it. What are the storylines that. we need to look at? And how's Mc Jesus. doing out there? Is he still doing. McDavid stuff? >> Sid's still doing it. He's going to take. on the Chicago Blackhawks tonight with. Pittsburgh vers Chicago. Uh Connor Bdard. looks likely to make his season debut. You'll remember Connor was the number. one overall pick a few years back. He's. supposed to be the next one of these. generational style players. And then you. asked about Mc Jesus. 13 points in five. games for the Oilers. They are redot.
They've won four straight. >> 13. >> If you don't have a team, it sucks that. the team is in Edmonton. >> Mhm. Yeah. >> Sucks. And they. >> for us win. >> for the people in Edmonton. We know it's. awesome. We love that for you. There's a. guy Conor McDavid. He's he's. >> If you haven't watched hockey, just go. ahead and watch one guy. That is the guy. to watch. If you want to watch a nice. physical style, how are the Panthers. doing? >> Oh, we're a little banged up right now.
>> Hey, we had three long, you know, runs. to the cup. So Barky's banged up. Marshy's banged up, but Chuck Brothers, they're on the same line right now. So, yeah, go watch those physical ads. >> All right, there's great hockey on. display all day. 16 games, all 32 teams. >> What's up, Con, man? >> I mean, premier franchise in the entire. NHL. The Boston Bruins are playing at. 11:00 p.m. Eastern. Are you kidding me, man? >> That's a night cap.
>> She You save the best for last. I. >> Shark Tank, too. Sharky's going to be. going crazy over there. Sharky's gonna. ride the rail. Climb the glass, >> [ __ ] dog. Okay, I ain't I ain't worried. about no Sharky, but give me a break. Okay, some people some people live on. the East Coast. 11 p.m., man. >> Celebrating. >> Did you guys make the playoffs last. year? >> Uh, yeah, we made the playoffs last. year. Did you guys make the playoffs. last year? >> We did actually. Yes. >> Let's talk about the college football. playoffs. >> Okay, >> ladies and gentlemen, joining us now is.
a guy who. >> lost in the first round. >> Must have forgot about that. Must have. forgot about that. And now pasta's down. in the sea, baby. Look out. >> We took the jersey down. >> That's fine. That was pro That was the. greatest ride out of any hockey jersey. this set has ever seen. I'm proud of. that jersey. >> No more now cuz the Buffalo crowned up. >> showcasing himself as he was covered by. a Posternok jersey, which resembled the. greatest regular season in the history. of the NHL. >> Damn right. >> How many games did you guys win in that. regular season? >> Too many to count, bro. >> Well, they actually did count and it was.
a record and then you guys lost. immediately in the first round. afterwards. So maybe the best regular. season means you're going to be the. worst in a playoff. >> No, no, I don't think that's what it. means. Um, what what happened was the. Florida Panthers, look, they came out. fat out of hell and turns out they were. one of the best teams in the league and. have been since that moment. Look, stuff. happens. It's the NHL. It's the only. It's the only league on the planet, and. I actually do genuinely believe this. It's the only league on the planet where. the bottom seed can go on and win the. entire thing. I don't think there's. another sport right now that can have.
that. >> 65 wins he does have. Holy [ __ ] man. >> That's too many to count. >> It was Bergies last year. >> 65 and 17 and then you lose in the first. round like a bunch of bums. >> Yikes. >> When was the last time the Penguins made. the playoffs, bro? >> Last year. >> We were here. >> It took us multiple years to get 65. wins. Okay. Have some respect. >> Think about that. >> Uh joining us now is not about hockey, even though I know he's a big hockey. fan. >> Yeah. >> You sure? Loves it. He's a Bruins fan. He won't won't stop talking to me every.
time I see him about the Bruins. Don't. know if that's true. Uh he's the host of. College Game Day football and. basketball. And every week he joins us. to wrap up the weekend that was with. Reese's Pieces from the weekend. Ladies. and gentlemen, Reese Davis. >> How you doing, Reese? You like hockey? You like puck? >> You know what? I haven't followed it the. last few years, but when I moved to. Michigan, I learned it and became a Red. Wings fan. But I I've not gonna lie, I've lost I've lost a little touch. I. feel like I need to go with the. Predators now because of Sabin. Stay.
away from them, too. You didn't get a. winner. The Red Wings fans, if they. weren't die hard, I think they've given. up on everything, too. They were. supposed to bring in Steve Eisermanman, who is a legend. It was the Eizer plan. He was going to come. That plan is dead. and gone. Just like that team. >> The fans are protesting for the first. time in my life. Little Caesar's Arena. is sparse. No one is going to the games. We're on a 10-year playoff drought. That's the longest in the NHL. Our. captain wants out. Another guy, one of. our better players. He's in Sweden right.
now. So, yeah, we're in a bad spot. >> So, what we're saying is Ree, you were. doomed from the beginning when you. picked the Red Wings to be your team. We. would like you to pick another team. That is awesome. Uh, we got Jac Mccordi. is a New Jersey Devils fan. He's going. to be following along with Jack Hughes. Ree, you you're going to be a Predators. fan. That's not It's going to be. shortlasted. I think. >> I I I feel obligated. I'm going to have. to answer for it over the weekends with. Sabin if we don't.
>> Okay, this might be a four. >> I'll dump him in with him. >> Okay, so. >> because isn't Gump going to help him? Isn't Gump helping him? >> I do like that every time uh see Sabin. and Gump are around each other uh Gump. will just shout something that has. happened to the Predators roster. Okay, so there was a 25-year-old I think that. was traded last week and uh to the. Predators and Gumpy goes I like the move. and saving goes is that right. >> senior adviser. So then Gumpy brings out. a phone. He has his stats. He goes, "Look, this guy shows up a highlight of. it." And Sam goes, "That's what we need.
We have We have too many of these guys, too many of these guys. We need these. guys." And Gumpy's like, "Yeah, this is. exactly what this guy is." So I think. you are kind of a consultant right now. for uh the National Predators, Gumpy. Is. that accurate? >> Yeah, he was pissed he didn't get any. info before that trade happened. I guess. he was supposed to know before trades. happened. So he was looking for a lot. more info on that trade. >> So I think Gumpy is potentially outing. the organization to their new owner. All. right. >> Hey, did you hear? And Sam was like, "No.". >> What? >> But I need to be hearing this before you.
tell me, sir. Uh, okay. Let's get to. this past weekend. Reese's Pieces from. the weekend of college football. We. appreciate you doing this every week. Our weekend in Tuscaloosa was fantastic. I know you're an alum there. Uh, obviously Alabama has had home of. college game day a lot, especially. during the Sabbin years. Now, with the. board taking the reigns, I loved it, man. I I thought I was gonna hate the. Coleman Coliseum. I think it was the. right play and I loved what those fans. did for us. Ree, >> I I was really worried about it, Pat. I.
was worried they weren't going to come. We all went and tried to do some social. media things. I talked to some students. on campus during the week and man did. they show up. I mean, they gave us a. great loud environment and I think they. were excited. Maybe they didn't have to. stand out in the rain the whole time. And I think it was the best play because. of our crew more than anything else. You. couldn't exactly predict, you know, what. they might have to face with the. weather. And Alabama fans showed up and. made it made it a great moment. >> I think there was like 6,6500 people in.
here. >> Good turnout. >> I mean, it was absolutely packed. Couldn't really move cuz they had their. seats. I don't know if the concessions. were going at like as we were looking. around, it continued to grow. It didn't. get like less people. people were seeing. that it was happening and going, "Oh, we'll go down there." It started. becoming an event. The entire bowl. started filling up. It was uh it was a. scene. It did feel like it was something. that we would remember and talk about. forever as we go forward. Huge Georgia. win. Oh my god, what a win. Reese Davis.
down there in Tuscaloosa for Kirby Smart. who was completely untested they said. coming in. >> There's no question they they weren't. tested. And did they ever answer the. challenge? And that's the first thing I. think that stuck out to me more than. anything else in this entire weekend was. the Georgia offensive line. Really both. lines of scrimmage, but particularly. that front against Alabama. They kept. opening up holes for Dwight Phillips. who, you know, came from deep on the. depth chart and just kept having.
explosive run after explosive run. They. protected Gunnar Stockton who I think. played the best game of his career on. Saturday night and had so many clutch. throws. and Kirby Smart uh the audio has. leaked from the locker room and he said. this is a him or me game. Georgia looked. like him if you want to use a vernacular. of the kids especially the guys up front. on both lines of scrimmage. uh clear-cut. number one to me now. They look really. really impressive and I think I think.
that how impressive they were has been a. little bit overshadowed by the blown. calls and there were a couple of blown. calls but Georgia still to me looked. like the better team for the vast. majority of the game. >> How about Gunner playing his best ball? Keelin Russell not saying he's not a. guy. I think Keen Russell is a guy. This. is the non-pass interference call that. on the broadcast had a flag graphic pop. up and Herby and Fowler both thought it. was a clear pass interference. I think a. lot of people that are watching thought. it was a pass interference. Some people. are saying uh it was uncatchable like it.
hit the guy in the leg. Yeah. >> So I I think there's been a. a lot worse that have not been deemed. uncatchable when a guy gets hit with the. ball. I I think that's going to be. tough. >> Mis calls happen. Fourth quarter, three. left. I mean, this is a it's only it's a. 15 yard penalty. It's not spot foul. It's not on the one if it happens in the. end zone like it is in the NFL or at. half the distance, whatever it would. have been. Still a huge blown call that. a lot of people, to your point, keep. pointing at as opposed to what Georgia.
did. Kirby Smart's pregame speech being. like, he seems actually upset about it. >> He seems actually upset about it getting. getting out. >> And I think he can I think he'll be able. to get the fingerprints from because. that the film goes to the guy's. >> Mhm. >> fingers. I I think with the modern. technology, >> maybe. >> he could probably screenshot that thing, get some fingerprints and figure out who. that is immediately because if he. genuinely doesn't want that out, I think. that's a real bad thing to let that out. >> I would assume I believe Kirby's smart. when he said some of these other coaches.
I don't believe, but I definitely. believe Kirby's smart when he says, especially, you know, talk, you know, Bama, it's the history there. But I I. mean, I love hearing the speech because. we think we know who these coaches are. I would assume that's how Kirby speaks. before. Most games, halftimes, I've been. around some of these crazy ass coaches. I love hearing it, but I do hate because. I do, as a former player, I love the. sanctity of the locker room. What you. see here and see her stays here. And I. hate that [ __ ] getting out like whoever. that staff member was. I hope they find. out and get rid of Yeah. or her. >> Yeah, actually. And Kirby might actually.
try to do that, you know? So, if Kirby. finds out who it is, I think that sets. precedent for him. It will be um a. dynamic that will have to be kind of. solved as we go forward because me. hearing Kirby do that. >> Oh, I loved it. >> Little baby Midas, >> little baby Midas becomes a football. player and Kirby sports coaching. >> Hey, that's where you're headed, brother. You are head. I think it's a. good thing for Kirby, not a bad thing. for Kirby, but I think Kirby doesn't.
want everybody to know exactly what is. the magic that is happening before they. go out there and do what they do, which. I respect. Speaking of magic, hey, Kentucky might have a football team. There is real chatter down there that. Big Blue Nation has a team and a coach. and they've got some big wins in big. moments against some big SEC teams. Uh. Ree, >> Will Stein has made his presence felt at. Kentucky and also being felt at Oregon, but we'll get to that in a second. I I. love the way Kentucky is playing now. It.
It's a 5050 proposition statistically to. go for two. um in just about any. circumstance, but when you get an. overtime as the Wildcats have been the. last two weeks and you have to go for. two in the next overtime anyway, why not. put it on one play and try to win the. game right there? You know, I understand. the concept of extending the game if. you're the better team. Kentucky may or. may not be the more talented team in a. lot of the games they play. So they've. put it all on one play and they've come. through two weeks in a row and it has.
shown that kind of thing builds. confidence and I think you can see. Kucky's confidence growing game by game. It was sort of flew right in the face of. sort of an uncharacteristic conservative. call by Lane Keifin to punt earlier in. there on the idea that Kentucky had had. some struggles kicking a field goal and. LSU had the lead. But Stein has been. able to make those calls to win games. Kenny Menchi is getting better and. better. We heard about how close he was. to beating out CJ Carr at Notre Dame.
before he transferred and he's been he's. been absolutely terrific taking care of. the football, making clutch plays. Almost at the same time, Stein's. presence is being felt because of his. absence at Oregon. Now, I'm not one to. come out and just put it all on an. offensive coordinator all the time or. offensive coordinator change, but the. Ducks have been sporadic. Even when. Dante Moore was healthy, Dylan Ryola had. a really tough game against UCLA. They. put the ball on the ground five times. and turned it over seven times.
>> So, I think I think it's really really. accentuating just how good a coach this. young guy at Kentucky is because Stein. making his presence felt at Kentucky and. they obviously miss him a whole bunch at. Oregon at the same time. >> And then Tosh, he's out. he goes to cow. on the defensive side as we watch UCLA. run 1920s offenses against people and. cook them. Uh Will Stein whenever he. gets to Kentucky is asked why he thinks. it'll be different with him at Kentucky.
>> and he said with all due respect me I. think I am a differencemaker. He. certainly is. I like the statement at. the time just like I like Signetti. calling out everybody night one. Now if. you go on to lose I hate it. I hate what. you did. If you go on to win, I love. what you did. Especially if you're able. to call your shot and that fan base, I. think they've just been waiting, right? Isn't that kind of what Kirk Herbstre's. been? That's why Herby, anytime anybody. plays against K uh Kentucky, he goes,
"Poor old Kentucky just kind of sitting. there." He's did with Stoops for a long. time. And I thought it was just his. friendship with Stoops. It turns out. Herby really likes that place as a. football school and he thinks that they. have a chance to really be a big problem. like for homefield advantage. I think. he's always wanted it to happen. Now. feels like it's going to happen Ree down. there in Kentucky with Will Stein. Now. flip side, can we talk about UCLA? Whenever you talk about the Oregon. Nicole. has been injured, he's been ruled out.
That offense really runheavy, run. dominant. Uh, obviously TE's and peas, positive thoughts for Nico as he misses. the rest of the season. Transfers from. Tennessee after leading them to the. playoffs to UCLA. They do terrible now. They're doing very good. He gets injured. out for the season. Te's and peas to. ooze out there. What do we think about. Bob Chzn's offense without Nico? And can. UCLA continue to do this? Ree, it. >> it's going to be a major challenge. Pat, I was talking to their offensive. coordinator last week, Dean Kennedy,
before uh Coach Sin did his film room on. their offense and the things you were. referencing in their run game, and he. was telling me about how much they put. on IAVA. in terms of making sure that they don't. run a called run into a look that they. haven't repped or a look that it's not. going to be successful against. They do. a lot of creative things. They do a lot. of things such as tagging tagging plays. with changing blocking assignments to. make the play look different even if. it's the same one. A lot of that fell on.
Nico. So now they've got Tai Defmbbach. who has a remarkable story. He didn't. even play quarterback until he was a. sophomore in high school. Sat on the. bench for a couple of years at Pit. Went. to Calpali. Played a little bit. Lost. his job. Got it back. Got a chance to go. to UCLA. And then he came in and you. know, look, I'm not saying he set the. world on fire. He managed the game and. maybe with this running game, they'll. have the opportunity to do so. Though I. think they're going to have a challenge.
against a really, really good run. defense in Wisconsin coming up. But UCLA. is another one of these teams with. Kentucky, with Missouri, with Iowa who. are still sitting there looking at the. playoff picture. You know, we're at the. midpoint of the season and they've got a. path. They have to earn their keep, win. their games, but it's a sort of. indicative of how quickly fortunes can. turn these days in college football. >> Yeah. Northwestern also, which all these. teams are crazy to say these names, but. it's very real and we are happy about.
the parody and the amount of teams. Tai. actually has a question about that in. the North. >> Yeah, to that point, Ree, there's there. is a massive log jam in the Big 10 right. now. I think you can argue and and we'll. see what what the committee would do. with UCLA if Nico isn't, you know, available to play the rest of the year, but you could argue that Ohio State, Indiana, and UCLA are all in right now. How many teams do you think the Big 10. is going to get in or do you think a lot. of those teams who are sitting at five. and one right now are going to end up. kind of cannibalizing each other? >> I I think a lot of them will tie.
They'll start beating each other. If you. know, I have this theory that's not. exactly rocket science, but if you're. not good enough, a loss will find you. You know, if you're not elite, you're. going to lose to somebody that maybe you. shouldn't because you have to bring your. agame to beat the better teams. So, I. think a lot of them will fall. I still. think we'll probably wind up with three. I'm not sure exactly who the third one. will be. I haven't lost total faith in. USC yet. That was a big win for them on. the road against Penn State. I know Penn. State's struggling, but Lincoln Riley's.
had all kinds of trouble in the Eastern. time zone. You go to the East Coast, you. win in the wide out. Really big win for. them. So, I think there will be three. teams out of the Big 10. Uh I'm just not. exactly convinced who the third one will. be. I feel very certain about who two of. them will be, and they play Saturday in. Bloomington. >> Okay. What are people going to hate you. for in here? >> Um I think maybe I don't know. Texas. fans are so mad that they're probably. not too mad at me for having them a.
little bit lower than everybody else. Um, maybe there might be a few people. hating me for uh leaving LSU in. Maybe. they think I've got Texas Tech too high. What do you What do you guys What do you. guys think? >> I don't Texas that loss to Oklahoma's. tough, you know, like that is a tough. one. >> That is a very tough one, but they have. huge wins. So, >> if we're just going to count outcomes of. games, I mean, huge. That Tennessee game. at Tennessee is is a big win. Ohio State. is a big win. Sarkeesians come out. Arch.
Menning has four wins over top 10 teams. over the last whatever. So, maybe get. off his uh piece just a little bit. It's. like, well, we're watching him play. though, and it doesn't look like what we. want it to look like. We want it to look. like he is a Manning out there. So, that. might be a conversation piece. I like. where you have BYU. I appreciate how. high you have BYU up there. Miss, uh, what's that, Ty? >> I was just gonna say Mississippi State. I feel like we're just acting like they. didn't get beat by 35 by Alabama. We. just, we kind of just threw that one out. the window. No big deal.
>> They did look good before that. >> They didn't even move down really at all. or move down one spot after they got. beat by him. You know, I feel like that. was a big jump up in competition. Got. their asses kicked and I know the. quarterback's great. I I get it. And. then Alabama goes on to lose the next. week to Georgia who now sits at top the. mountain. They had been at two. Now. they're at one in your poll and in. everybody else's poll, including the. AP tone above average poll. >> Wow. >> Reys, you and you and Tone see it the.
same at the top of the polls. You and. Tone's polls are damn near identical to. each other. Tone, what do you think. about your poll versus maybe Reese's. poll on this glorious day? >> Yeah, we did have the uh same top three. They're not in the same order. It's just. because Ohio State has played a little. bit stiffer competition, I would argue, than Notre Dame, which is will change uh. well, no, actually it won't change this. weekend because Notre Dame's getting BYU. and Ohio State's getting Indiana. But at. least Notre Dame's getting a a huge road. test with Kehlani Sitakei uh out there.
in Provo. But yeah, Georgia now, you. know, has the best win on the season. You can argue against Alabama. I think. it's at the I think the top six have. clearly separated themselves with these. three and then Miami, Alabama, and. Indiana. I think those six are hard to. argue that they aren't the top six. And. then it falls off a little bit as far as. eye test and kind of what you've seen so. far. Uh but no, Georgia clearly the best. win in my eyes on the season. And I I. didn't I don't think it was a downgrade. really for Bama because how well they. played too. But yeah, as far as the top. three go right now, these would be mine.
I like that you two on your polls, your. average polls and your deep polls, >> aren't punishing good teams for losing. to great teams in a good game. >> And and I think that's a big part of the. discussion that is going to happen at. the end of the year. It's like, well, they have a loss. It was like, yeah, but. that was a. >> People get mad at that. >> That was a great game, though. They're. like, yeah, but it's still a loss. I. like that you two have looked at the. games, watched the tape, not just the. highlights or the low lightss, and.
decided that team's still really good. and will beat a bunch of people. Now, George, up at the top of both of your. guys' polls, I think everybody expected. that, especially after Texas loses. Debut has a question for you now. >> Yeah, Ree, always got to ask you about. your number one team. What do you see as. the biggest obstacle going down the line. for Georgia? Is it kind of internally. locker room? Maybe something they can't. figure out there or the schedule, maybe. Old Miss, Missouri been on the rest of. the way. What do you think? >> I don't see anybody on their schedule as. complete as they are. But if you don't.
play your agame this year in the SEC, I. I think the SEC is better than it was. last year. So, it's not as if Georgia is. invincible, but I think they're clearly. the most complete and the best team. I. don't anticipate any internal issues. I. don't worry about complacency with them. you know the type of effort you're going. to get from a Georgia team every time. they go on the field under Kirby Smart. Now, they may make mistakes, they may. get beat, um but you don't typically get.
it is very rare that you get a flat. effort from them. So, that I don't worry. about. There are teams that are. explosive. I think explosive teams that. can protect their quarterback, maybe. even a little better than Alabama did on. Saturday night, could potentially give. them trouble. But boy, I really like the. answers that I saw from Gunner Stockton, particularly on some of those third down. plays where they had to have it. And I. don't think we had seen that from Gunner. prior to this season. >> He he delivered a couple 17 yard seam.
shots that had to be put into a bucket. and he did. And. >> I just don't think in years past those. are going to Georgia. I think those are. going to Alabama in years past. This. year more confident. And the way Kirby's. talking to him before the game, I mean, They're going out to war out there. I. mean, they're going out to war. Let's. not be turning the ball over in the. middle of war. If they get complacent, I. don't think any coach can keep anybody. motivated after what we're hearing. there. Let's talk about this weekend.
Huge top 10 matchup in your poll and. everybody's polls out there in Provo. Go. ahead, Con man. >> Yeah, Ree BYU Notre Dame. I think just. the average fan is just assuming Notre. Dame's going to walk in there and kind. of roll. What are you expecting? I mean, the sports books having you at 10 points. is absurd. That's the first time I'm. seeing that. But what are you expecting. this weekend from Provo, from BYU in the. game itself? And then just the. atmosphere in Utah and how great that. place is. >> I I think the atmosphere is going to be. great from game day all the way through. the end of the game. I've called games.
in Provo before. I mean, they they are. into it. Uh they are not shy and. retiring about letting the opposing team. know exactly what they think of them and. their chances of winning. We put it. mildly. So I BYU is always a tough. physical team. They run the ball well. Now without LJ Martin, a lot of it has. fallen on Bear Bachmeire and I do I I do. have concerns about whether they can. generate enough offense. I figure they. keep this game tight early that it's a.
bit of a slo. It might even feel a. little bit like that early game that. Notre Dame played against Wisconsin. I. expect as the game goes on the Irish. will take control. I think they're. better in the passing game. um think. they're probably more playmakers on. defense, but it's not going to be easy. and it won't take many mistakes for BYU. to be able to knock them off. And what. this is going to be easily the biggest. game in the history of Lavel Edwards. Stadium. It's the first time a top 10. matchup. They beat number one Miami. years ago, but they weren't in the top.
10. It's going to be huge. >> You're the best. That's where you save. us. We're back on the other side. Goodbye. We are obviously here in beautiful. Austin, Texas. Connor Casino, where are. you from, brother? >> I'm from Zansville, Indiana. >> Okay. But do you go to school here in. Texas? >> I I go to school here in Utah. >> Okay. Okay. That sounds good. I'm happy. they're going to like you. Matthew. McCcon is here. Any words for Connor. here that maybe he should think about. before kicking a $1 million.
>> kick? >> Yeah. Yeah. Got you good. >> kind of. How about that? How about that? A southpaw leg. >> Soccer sty going barefoot. Tony Franklin. come back. >> I like that. >> You're going to kick this thing just. inside the our left upright and kick it. into DKR. >> Uh you played soccer growing up, so he. should have a little bit of comfort. kicking. >> I'm going to have pop. >> Okay. So, do you think a million-dollar. kick is going to happen here? And. Austin, this be the first time ever for. this kicking season. >> It is going to happen. It's going to.
happen. My man Conor's got this. And. listen, here's the other thing. What do. you got to lose? >> Nothing. Cuz you ain't got the million. No, no, no. That's not yours yet. You're. going to go get it with the left leg. >> You're right. I didn't think about it. >> Rehearsing's done, right? It's live. What do we get? One take. And why not? >> In Indianapolis, there's this nonprofit. called Building Tomorrow. >> And if I make this kick, hopefully I. want to give half of those proceeds to. Building Tomorrow. >> Okay. We got a good here. You got it.
>> Let it rip, baby. $1 million kick. Connor. >> Oh my god. Let me tell you. >> Let me tell you something. >> We will do one more kick. >> Now, from my understanding, which I.
appreciate you doing this, Mr. McConn is. going to throw in 100,000. Herby's going. to throw in a h 100,000. This will be a. $1.2 million tick. 600,000 to charity. 600,000 to you. Last opportunity. I. don't want to hear a thing from you. Texans. They're barefooted. Hey. Hey, real quick. Conor. >> Texas. >> Texas. >> Conor. >> Okay, let's go. They could have said you. sucked. I'm happy they didn't do that.
You got this, >> Connor. For $1.2 million, 600,000 to. charity, 600,000 to your future. All you. got to do is make one 33 yd field goal. >> Holy. Yeah, baby. Yeah, baby. Down the pipe. Come on, guys. Down the pipe, baby. >> Absolutely.

Hello beautiful people and welcome back. to our humble abode. The draft kings. thundered up on this frozen frenzy. Tuesday October 13th 2026. Hour of the. program begins now. football. >> wrapped up its incredible weekend last. night in Los Angeles as the Buffalo. Beals walk out of week five Monday Night. Football as a winner and the Los Angeles. Rams have another loss early in the. season. We still have yet to see Miles. Garrett and Aaron Donald on the field. together. We still have yet to see this.
Los Angeles Rams defense become this. dream defense. What we have seen is this. man be unstoppable. Put an entire team. on his back alongside a bunch of lads. who will fight you till the very end. 3734. Buffalo Bills get the dub in Los Angeles. and the Rams have a bunch of questions. being asked if they're really a super. team or not. Their special teams has not. been that great. had let them down last. night and Josh Allen might just never. lose a game ever again outside of the. Patriots at home two weeks ago. Toxic. tables here at Boston Connor at Tai.
Schmidt. Ty, football is awesome. The. NFL is phenomenal. College football is. great. More unpredictable now than ever. since we've been doing a live show. I. think yes. >> Yeah, I think so. I think the parody and. and it it is just because like the first. week of the season, we see a couple. teams get their asses beat and you kind. of just throw them out immediately. It's. like, okay, this team's going to stink. the entire year. And it just it really. is week in and week out. I mean, you. know, even like watching the Packers, you know, we talked about the Bears and. how good they were. You don't expect. that. There are at least four to five.
games every single week where you are 80. to 90% confident that one team who has. looked really good is going to win and. then they get their asses kicked. So, it's like you you just you're in a. pretzel going into the next week and. everything changes again. But, it's. awesome. It makes every single week feel. like there is so much more at stake. I. think the arrow Tom Pelisero said on. Rich Eisen's show a couple weeks ago. about uh Justin Herbert maybe being on. the move out of Los Angeles especially. if they go 0 and6. I think he just said.
it like nobody's talking about this. Nobody really thinks this could be. possible but why not Chargers if they go. they are they're staring down 0 and5. team does not look good. So people heard. that from a couple weeks ago then. obviously the internet does what the. internet does. Now there's conversation. about Justin Herbert made being traded. >> Whoa. got to super up. >> I mean, that is the chaos about having a. losing NFL team cuz there's a lot of. teams that are super desperate to get to. the mountain top and if they think they. have a chance and you have a piece that. they think could put them over the top, there's been some crazy deals made. People have gotten corners for multiple.
first round picks. That's right. Okay. That would put them over the hump and. then everybody on the roster gets hurt. and then you end up sitting with that no. pick for the next couple years as you. try to figure out what the future looks. like. I'm talking about the Indianapolis. Colts. Sauce Gardner not the problem. Sauce Gardner getting hurt when he got. hurt. Everybody else getting hurt when. they got hurt as we are the number one. team in the league and then us winning. only two out of the next 12 games with. no first round pick going forward. >> is a price you pay to try to get over. the top. >> Yeah.
>> Trade deadline looming. Teams that can. go, teams that are a no. Both happening. in real time. I think we're going to see. some action. Ian Rapaort will join us in. about 18 minutes or so. Nine-year NFL. vet Darius J. Butler is here. Yes, >> baby. >> Pebb Butch, we've been talking about. this a bit this season and last year. I. think if you go back 10 years, Peanut. Tilman was the only guy that was really. perfecting a craft, but on this. particular show, especially with your. incredible ability to snoop it out and. see the greatness happening on the. field. It's time for Debut's Peanut. Punch Out Spotlight.
>> A lot of them last night and this. weekend, Debb, >> absolutely. A couple of them on prime. time last night and a lot throughout the. weekend. 44 turnovers overall throughout. the weekend. about three a game and. they're always huge in the game. This. was Lamb, man. One of his two that we. saw. They recovered one, Bills did, then. the Rams got the other one. But just an. absolute sniper with the right fist from. Lamb, man. And we always talk about it. Field position, explosive plays, and. turnovers are what usually dictates the. winner in ball games. Fred Warner the.
best in the business right now, I. believe, since Peanut Tilman when it. comes to punching a ball out. He got one. in Seattle. They had two actually in. that 49ers. Chris Johnson, the rook out. of San Diego State for Miami. It's a. great punch out right there with the. left hand, too. So, I'm going to give. him a little bonus even though we went. didn't win the game. And then we got. Jake right there from the Vikings. Right. hand punch out. A clean one. Got Yeah, just big big Jake. We got. >> Sydney Brown right there. Punch out. I. couldn't see the last name. Then Tulie.
from the Chargers. I mean, one positive. thing both Nicks, you got to take care. of that football. But as runners in the. league, as quarterbacks in the league, Kendall Vidor, uh, Bears draft pick now. New England Patriots punch out on the. best tight end right there, Brock. Bowers. So, you got to protect that. ball, man. As a runner, as a. quarterback, defenders aren't just. coming in. Usually, AJ talks about it. It's usually the first guy, and we were. playing the first guy gets in there, wraps up, and the second guy comes in. there, punch out. But you saw it with. Lman. He's punched out. I think James. Cook ran for another three, four yards. before he even tried to attempt to get.
back for the ball. Just a great job out. of these defenders all over the league. Okay. So, what's the defense? I'm going. two hands on this stick. You got two. hands. >> So, if I'm coming if I'm coming at you, I mean, >> I think K9 does it the best. He has the. >> He kind of puts the the other one over. the arm. But if I'm coming at you right. here, I'm just trying to find a spot. >> Just get it down top down. I'm behind. you. If I'm behind you, it's a punch. It's. I'll scare you right. Yeah, that's good. So, you go boom. Little X right here. Used to be three.
points of pressure. Three or four points. of pressure. Now you kind of got to go. Yeah. Put a little extra on that tough. get in there in the ball. Actually, you. know what? >> Get this. >> Yeah, you do. >> Yeah. I don't think so. I don't think. so. I don't I don't think so. Damn it. >> I don't think so. >> Now, like the guy is running straight at. you and it's like a. >> a straight punch. It's like an Olay. >> And the thing about it as a runner, >> which never would have happened in the. past, >> it ever would have happened. Coaches. would have hated, players would have. hated and you're scared to get ran over.
when you think about it. But even if I'm. going to tackle a 250 or let's say I'm. going to tackle James Cook. >> and once I go to that ball and I hit it, your natural like human instinct is to. like tense up. So you you no longer. become this explosive powerful runner. Now you just turn go in immediate old. [ __ ] mode. And these linebackers with. the power corners, we're seeing. DTackles. We got specialists, everybody. They're just punching this ball out. And. they're doing it from the day you step. in OTAAS through the practice. Pat, you. remember it. Guys will be running out of. bounce and you'll be messing with them.
I'm on a sideline punching ball. You hit. a guy, you know, 16 year like Frank Gore. and he looks at you like want to punch. you in the face, you know, 5 seconds. after the play, but it just kind of reps. it mentally for these runners because. the ball is a program. >> Yeah, it's a different game on defensive. side. Speed, athleticism, they're. securing tackles while also punching. out. I think natural evolution of the. move. And you talk about Frank Gore. punching out. I wouldn't have done that. just so we can say I know who and. probably not to do. But I'll tell you, I. assume I was a part of a story of a guy. maybe not making a team. You know, it.
wasn't just me. It was obviously the. rest of training camp. He needs to look. at himself. But you punch a ball out on. a guy that can't cover a kick. Maybe, you know, >> man, I would like to see this guy. >> Boom. Runs by, ball punches out. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Defense goes. This guy head down, runs back to the. entire thing. I feel terrible. Okay. I. feel absolutely terrible. The guy wasn't. going to make team. That certainly. doesn't help. But there's something as. stressed on a football field everywhere.
Me and Vinnie are standing on the. sideline. Ball comes from the corner. We're getting water cuz we work so hard. These guys would never. We're getting. water. Guy catches the ball, comes down. out of bounds, runs to the sideline. He's about to turn around, run back. I. mean, >> not just me. There's defenders on the. field that are standing over. Everybody. is just looking to get that ball out of. the hand. Ball of the hand is automatic. check on the offensive side. It's like. it is talked about more. >> charted. >> than anything else charted. But the. defense is trying at all times. I. actually got one Philadelphia Eagles. kickoff return went out of bounds. I.
wish it. >> Yeah. Well, that's because basketball. >> side. >> Yeah. Yeah. I did basketball. The guy. was definitely going to shake it and do. the reach around. You know, the lazy. basketball defense. >> Yeah. When you're going to do that. defense did one of those ball goes. flying. I'm like, wait a minute. >> Have him break my fist. >> Elbow. >> Nobody's really getting hurt from these. Joining us now is a guy that I think. would have been great if it was maybe. expected out of him, especially with his. >> Yeah, exactly. >> Taekwond do abilities. >> College football national champion,
Super Bowl champion, Ryder Cup winner, ladies and gentlemen, AJ Hawk. >> Hako, you can hit the elbow. I guess. that used to be the fear is that you're. going to miss and hit elbow, maybe break. hand, or you're going to miss tackle. The peanut punch now is seemingly hotter. than ever. >> Yeah, I don't think it was ever really. you were worried about punching elbow. and getting hurt. It was more missing. the tackle, like especially if you're. the first man, too. And Lman, this dude. is unbelievable. Like sit there, you're. taking on a block with one hand. It's. right. Like why try to completely. disengage and wrap up with two hands. when you can you clearly see that ball. in that compressed gap. Like just thing.
of beauty how I I can't believe how. accurate these guys are right now. Like. they are so accurate. It would be a. nightmare to be a guy running the ball. because even when you do have two hands. on it, if he punches it perfectly, that. thing's coming out no matter what. >> These guys are practicing, I think. Right. Precision punching. They're. practicing. Practicing that a lot. It. could change an entire game. The maniac. Darius Leonard Shaquille Leonard for the. Colts, he was he made the Pro Bowl. because of it. He had eight turnovers. and they were mostly all punch outs. It's becoming a part of the game. The. offense needs to know that defense takes.
advantage of it. We love where the state. of ball is. What are your thoughts on. last night's game, AJ? Before we pivot. to the frozen frenzy, what a showcase of. ball in that second half. >> Yeah, what a showcase of just just. talent. I mean, Puka goes wild. We see. we know what Stafford and Josh Allen can. do, but just Josh Allen like he's a true. dual threat guy and he's a big old big. old quarterback that is not scared to. run the ball and like did he slide last. night at all? Do you remember seeing him. slide? No. >> Yeah. That's what's wild to think this. gigantic guy that's not lumbering down. the field either. He is as fast as it.
gets and then he's not sliding at the. end too. Like just creates nightmares. for defense to try to adjust to. something like this because as Debbut. said earlier like one spy is not going. to make it work. You you just got to. it's got to be a full 11 guys. Your. whole rush lanes have to be perfect and. the guy still can exploit you at times. >> Yeah. And that you talk about him. sliding. He was just trying to run that. guy over who was gnawing on grass. So I. I mean he was trying to get uh on top of. somebody who was going to cut out his. ankles. I mean he's trying to still get. something. He's trying to go get him. down there. It's like Josh, you're a. psycho. Lot a lot different than his.
rookie year. This was all he had. >> Yeah. >> All he had was his running ability. He. couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. for a better metaphor with how he could. throw. He's locked in his throws, but he. came out immediately after the game in. his interview, I believe it was with. with Miss Laura, and said, uh, got to. throw ball better. Got got to throw the. ball better. He ran for over 120 yards. He had 210 yards passing. How much more. does he want to go for? I mean, is this. guy want to go for 600 yards a game? Like, what? >> We got to throw the ball better. It's.
like, bro, yeah, I think you did. You. won over 200 there, 120 here. We got. touchdowns galore here. We got guys. eating all over the place. It's like he. still wants more, still needs more. >> Is this, this is the big question now, AJ, and I hate to sound like sports. media guy, but. >> okay, >> is this a sustainable way of playing. football to win a Super Bowl? You know, you can't just ask, is this a. sustainable way to play football and be. good and have success? It's like, can he. win a Super Bowl like this? Because. that's the only question about Josh. Allen. And he has a freestyle style of.
quarterback. I don't know when the last. time a freestyle quarterback won the. Super Bowl. Feels like systems often win. the Super Bowl. >> What about Ben? >> No, >> I don't know. Ben was kind of a. freestyle. >> He did run he'd not run as much as Josh. obviously because. >> he would run around and then yes, he. played within the system, but he did do. a lot of backyard [ __ ] I was just. trying to think of someone like closest. to that. >> Yeah, because he's a backyard football. player. Josh Allen is a backyard.
football player. Yeah. >> The best backyard football player of all. time, Josh Allen. >> Yeah, >> Ton Digs is pretty good. >> Thanks. >> Ton Dig is pretty good. >> Okay. >> Pretty pretty good. Yeah, he was a good. player. Good play all sides. I also. pretty good player. >> Lamar Jackson. >> Yeah, pretty pretty. I mean, >> is he going to tackle? >> Patrick Mahomes. >> Is Lamar Jackson going to tackle? >> Yeah, Pat. >> I think he'd be comfortable with it. >> if we're playing backyard football. >> Yeah. I mean, that is the thing, though, is Lamar Lamar's not a small dude, but. Josh is as big as a end. >> And Lamar doesn't take the big hits. >> Yeah. That's like one of the talents.
that Lamar has is he has the ability to. avoid massive contact. Josh Allen. >> loves though. Josh can he's definitely. looking for contact but I think also he. is very calculated in how he goes about. it. Now it may not look like it at times. but I think he knows when he can win. that matchup when he can not slide and. he's smart enough to step out of bounds. when he needs to. >> Sorry for the laughing while we're doing. that. This is a very serious subject. We. hope all quarterbacks have the ability. to win a Super Bowl. We haven't been. able to see it. There's breaking news out of the NFL.
>> Little Blake groupy is now the kicker. for the Los Angeles Rams as the kicker. There's meas. >> We did talk about this just in the first. hour and. >> we just need a video. >> Nobody was really uh. >> send a video. >> Nobody was really taking it serious on. this particular set as we chitchated. about the amount of pylons it would take. to match his height as a whole. They go. from thicker kicker which we've never. seen. I don't I don't Janikowski was. big. Janikowski is big, but to just be. openly kind of, yeah, I'm cool with how.
I am bigger, you know. I don't think. we've really seen high success at that. I think there is some things to it with. how much explosion you need, how much. you need to be able to move, how you. need to be able to move is certainly a. convo, but Meas had been one of the best. kickers in the entire league all last. season. And the Rams loved him coming. into the year. Misses a couple kicks, gets a kick block, all of a sudden. little Blake Groupy's available. He. comes flying in to save the day. LA is. going to love little Blake Rupy. I I.
mean, >> if he makes his kicks, >> he will make his kicks though. The only. reason why he's not the Colts kicker. still is because Spencer Shrader had a. perfect career. Then he gets hurt. Shane. Stiken says, "Don't feel like you should. be able to lose your job. Has full. competition." Blake Groupy missed like. one kick for us, two kicks for us. This. guy is phenomenal. If they had him last. night, I think little Blake Groupy steps. up and knocks all those through no. matter what. Uh I'm excited for him to. get out there. Also, more breaking news. out of the NFL before we pivot to the. Frozen Frenzy. Congratulations to Jamar. Chase. His uh People's Elbow celebration.
appeals have been resented. >> Really? Okay. >> Yeah. He said, "You guys are thinking. worse about me all of a sudden without. even talking to the NFL PA." Kind of. like the booze thing where the NFL was. like, "That's beer. That's booze. That's. not water. That's not Gatorade. Even. though you're professional athletes, that's definitely alcohol." The players. are all like, "Whoa." Huh? You guys got an alcohol problem. >> If every single drink is an alcohol, that sounds like it's a you problem, not.
a me problem. I like Jamar Chase did the. same thing. First of all, it didn't get. a warning. Supposed to get a warning. Second of all, you guys are disgusting. That's what you guys are thinking. >> Can I be honest for a second? >> I like that defense. You You thought it. was what? Oh my. Is that all you guys. think about? >> I think he was. >> Jeez Louise. >> Deviant sex. >> First off, those were definitely beers. and that was definitely his dong that he. was flopping. Whoa. Whoa. >> Can't prove that. Can't prove it. >> I don't think Jamar watched a lot of. attitude there, Ra. That That ain't the.
damn people's elbow. >> No, it's not. >> Well, we don't know how many people have. seen that elbow or what the elbow. potentially is. And maybe there's some. other group that has a people's elbow. >> Maybe. >> maybe maybe some of these things that. we've never seen before have elbows, you. know. But what Jamar Chase is saying is, "Hey, that's disgusting that that's. immediately where your head went without. me even getting a chance to talk about. what it is." And he wins his appeal. >> I like that. I like that part. Back.
>> Congratulations, Jamar. >> Sean, they got humans in there. >> Hey, reasonable doubt, bro. Okay. You. just got to prove reasonable doubt. That's on you for saying that's a big. old dong. Not me. You pigs. That's what. he said in in the appeal process. I like. that. I like that a lot. But I do think. the NFL got their point across with. everybody. Now, there's been more. penalties through week five than any. other season since the merger. We need. to slow that down. But I think with the. flags, with the big conversation, the. NFL wanted to reiterate to players like,
"Hey, let's remember we're not, you. know, >> yeah, >> we don't need to be do the elbow, right? He's doing it the rest of the year.". Correct. And they they green lit it, right? And said, "You're good." I think. there might have been a potential uh. wink wink nod nod. Let's not be doing. big old donglike elephant trunk stuff. Okay. Let's keep that away from uh the. body. But. >> you could put it up here though. >> Yeah, he could do a. >> Yeah, sure. >> Yeah, the point could. >> Yeah. Let's get out of football and.
celebrations. Congratulations to You. don't win a lot of those appeals. >> No. >> Every one of these wins we should. celebrate, AJ. >> Yeah. I blame Jordy. Jordy's head was in. the gutter. He was the guy putting on. the fines, wasn't he? He's part of that. crew. >> He's in there. >> Jordy Nelson saying, "These guys are. boozing. That's a penis." That's what. Jordy Nelson is doing. >> I mean, Derek Derek Brooks, Jordy, I. believe a couple other people are on. like I think they're on the appeals. process. So maybe they're the ones that. freed him up and said, "No, you're good. to go." It was not a big old dong. >> You're right. I could see that being a. lot of things. That's a hose maybe. >> Yeah, sure. >> Yeah, I understand what you're saying.
>> Out or the people's elbow. >> and Jordy's like, I don't this is what. you're saying it is cuz it looks like he. goes. >> Jordy was around that time. He was. watching. >> Yeah, he knew. >> He was watching the rock. >> He knew. >> that it don't. do it. >> I don't know if it's the people's elbow. and Jamar's like you. I take my. >> Yeah. >> before and then I'll just kind of That. was my body dropping the elbow. You see. the elbow is actually up here. >> So that's a joining us now is not from.
football and he's been waiting around. We apologize for that. the man who's. going to be able to tell us everything. we need to know about this Frozen Frenzy. Tuesday. All 32 teams will be playing. tonight. 16 winners, 16 bumass losers. Excitement and energy from one side of. the league to the other. Superstars in. abundance. If you're not a hockey fan, today's a good day to find who your team. is going to be as this NHL season is.
about to be the best. season yet. Joining us now, 13-year NHL. veteran stud PK Savan. >> Hey, sorry, PK. >> Hey. >> Hey. >> No problem, guys. Happy to be back. >> Did you see that people's elbow? Did you. see that people's elbow from Jamar. Chase? >> I did. I did. I don't mind the extension. on that. I don't What's the You know, I. don't mind that. >> Yeah. Maybe the guys giving fines are. just here their whole lives. >> Yep. Yeah. >> You know, and this is how they live.
Broer, shower, what do you mean? One. size is all size. Yes. So, whenever he's. >> Hey, >> don't let him in the end zone, Pat. Don't let him in the end zone, then. >> That's right. If you don't want to see. how big it could be, don't let him in. the paint. >> All right, PK, let's talk about the. Frozen frenzy, shall we? Uh, 32 teams, 16 matchups. I don't know how many years. this has been going, at least the last. few. I love this. What are some of the. storylines that we need to know have. begun early in this year? >> Uh, well, there's a lot of storylines. Obviously, Florida is going to be a.
focal point uh with the Brady Kachchuck. trade and uh we saw Barov go down. We've. seen Marshon go down. Now, they're not. out the rest of the season, but um maybe. people are changing their picks. I still. think Florida's a team to beat. Uh we. look at a big matchup tonight, Washington and Carolina, which we saw. the first matchup, Washington handed it. to him pretty good. So, I would assume. that Carolina wants to come out and. write the ship again. But, you know, it's it's it's the usual suspects, you. know, as usual. The McDavids, all these.
players are are playing at the top of. their game, but it's the young players. for me. Uh, like tonight, you got to. stay up to watch that San Jose Boston. game. Uh, Min Celibbrini's box office. right now, but it's all the rookies. Anton Fondell in Chicago has been great. Kevin Connelly, uh, Connelly in, uh, Vegas is doing is having an amazing. year. So, you know, I I I think that. there's a lot to watch, but specifically. the young players, like the game to. watch tonight might be Toronto and Utah.
with the way McKenna has started the. season and he's kind of coming into his. own. It's early, but uh it's mustwatch. TV for me. I'm watching hockey every. night and I can't stop. Go. >> ahead, AJ. >> Uh. >> no, I thought that was a good end, PK. I. just got to shut you down right there. I. thought it was a great end. I thought. you really nailed the landing there. Then you did a little skip and go. That's on me. >> 16 games. I mean, my my goodness. >> Yeah, let's a. >> lot going on. >> I need one for every single game. I need. you to have a take for it. AJ will. provide another opportunity. Go ahead, AJ.
>> Yes, I appreciate the the overview, PK. But I a comment made by Cuchov said the. game is faster but dumber or but but. very dumb right now and he's saying it's. like low IQ. What exactly does he mean. by that? Is that something you agree. with? >> Well, as a player, you understand. exactly what he means by that. And I. think that the game we've we put so much. of a focus on, you know, doing. everything super super fast, but the. reality is is that there's probably a. handful full of guys in the game that. can play the game at top speed and do.
everything at top speed, right? You. watch Mlin Celibbrini, Conor McDavid. play, these guys do everything at top. speed. So, I I still think that there's. a fine art to the game that requires. poise and patience and thinking and. that's why hockey is the hardest game to. play in my opinion because you need all. of those tools to be successful at it. And Cooerov's a blessed guy. You know, no one's going to see the game through. his goggles, but you got to take the. time to understand them. So, you know, there's a language barrier there, but I.
think what he means is is that it's not. always about being fast. the game has. some bright spots, but you know the. talent is very very few guys can do what. Cooerov can do, right? So he's in a. class of his own and you know when he. speaks freely it's always mustsee TV. So. I hope we get more sound bites out of. Cooch this year. I know they're going to. probably put the rains on him but I'd. like a microphone in front of him after. every game. I really would. >> Yeah, we'd like Cooch to be out here a. little bit louder for the good of the. sport. You talk about him being in a.
league of his own. There's somebody else. up breathing that air as well. Oh, go. ahead, Connor. >> Yeah, PK Conor McDavid. Uh, I think the. stat was said earlier. He's got like 13. points or 15 points through his first. five games or six games. Ridiculous. stuff still. Um, is this the year. they're finally going to get it done? Do. you think the Oilers have what it takes. to win a cup? I know you said Florida, but do you see them representing the. West? And what should the expectation be. for Edmonton this season? Well, I listened to Mike Babcock's. postgame speech after their last win and.
he, you know, the the last point that I. took from his speech was, "We're going. to get a whole lot better." And I've. seen them get a lot better since the. first game. Um, they're harder on the. puck. They're harder to check. And, you. know, there's going to be questions. about how he coaches this team, right? He's putting the big guys together, expecting them to drive the bus, and. then the third and fourth lines and and. depth guys got to do their job. So, everyone's going to have a role on that. team. You're going to have to follow uh. suit and fall in line. Uh I I think that.
listen, Mike Babcock's a great coach. Like, who's going to say he's not? He. knows X's and O's. He knows how to get. the most out of players. Uh but that's. all going to be going to be seen. I. still think Edmonton has issues in net. So, their goalending issues and and some. of their defense, they're going to have. to manage that. And those are areas that. I'll be paying close attention to. because when you look at the West. offensive teams, San Jose is a sleeper. team. You got to be careful. Utah's a. sleeper team. Vegas, if they make it to.
the playoffs healthy, my goodness, if. they can just be healthy come playoff. time, they're a surefire contender. So. for Edmonton, yes, I I still believe. that they are a true contender um. because of the coaching, because of. their team and the structure that. they're going to play with. Make no. doubt about it. You get Conor McDavid to. a conference final, it's a sprint from. there. So, can they get to the. conference final? I don't think there's. anybody that's going to disagree with. that whole season to play, but I think. they're on their way. I think they're. moving in the right direction.
>> We told a lot of people, if you're not a. hockey fan, find that Edmonton Oilers. game on late night and watch uh 97 or. whatever it is. He is outrageous. He's. faster than everybody else on the ice. He's seemingly better than everybody. else on the ice. He's physical and he's. going to score and get an assist in that. game. And then we're never going to see. them in the prime time because they're. going to lose early. Now, you talked. about them having goalie problems. They're not the only one up there in. Canada. Ty has a question for you, PK. >> Yeah, PK, what the hell's going on with. Halabuk? It seemed like after the United.
States won the gold medal, I don't know. if he just kind of decided or came up. with like, you know what, Winnipeg. sucks. I don't want to be here anymore. I want to go back to the United States. I know he's currently suspended still. Is there going to be any movement on. that? Is he going to get traded maybe to. a team in the States? maybe to a team. like the Golden Knights or uh what. should we expect from that whole. situation? >> Great question. Uh that's completely up. to the Winnipeg Jets as far as I'm. concerned and what they want to do. Uh. when you sign a contract as a player, uh.
the team has every right to make you sit. or suspend you. They don't have to trade. you. though I I you know I don't I want. to be very very careful because as a. player who has missed games sitting out. during a contract dispute it's much. different than being under contract and. sitting out and uh you know I don't. always condone players to sit out even. though I did it but I'm going to tell. you right now in this situation it. doesn't look good to me from where I am. because I look at the Winnipeg Jets who. have been a top team in the National.
Hockey League over the past couple years. going back to 2016 when I was playing. with Nashville. We won the President's. Trophy. They beat us in the second. round. So, he was a part of that team. and he was still leaky in that playoffs, by the way. But, I'm going to get back. to that in a second. Winnipeg has been a. fantastic team. They've been a bright. spot to the NHL. Their fans are awesome. I don't know what's gone on off the ice. as far as people giving it to him or. whatever when he came back from the. Olympics, but my goodness, you sign a.
long-term extension like that, you don't. want to play for that team. the whole. concept of playing in the National. Hockey Leagues to win the cup. I I don't. know where where there's a better. opportunity for him to do that other. than in Winnipeg. He's had great teams. in front of him. I think Connor Halabuk. has to play a lot better. But to comment. on the situation and where they're at. right now, I don't know what Winnipeg's. going to do and I don't care. If they. decide to move them, they decide to move. them. If they make them sit, they make. them sit. Right now, there's no pressure. on Winnipeg to do anything. Their team's. playing well. Uh, you know, as far as.
I'm concerned, they're rallying around. it. We saw that Tyler Bower kid who's. fighting every night. My goodness, if. you get a chance to watch this kid, I. watched him in the AHL, tough as nails. But I got to give it to Winnipeg. They've rallied around it. Kyle Connor's. taken his game to another level. Uh. that's where I want to keep the focus on. in Winnipeg. Not hella buck. Listen, he's accomplished a lot in in his. career. I'll give him that. But if. you're under contract, you got five. years or six years on your deal and you. want to sit out for a trade, that's on.
you. I'm not going to spend time talking. about it. Once he gets moved or if he. gets moved, I'll I'll visit that. There's my guy Tyler Bower. My goodness, this guy can throw him. >> Okay. And he looks like he likes to love. that. Good for hockey. Where are you. from? Just so we can get a little. perspective. Where are you from, PK? >> I am from Canada. I'm from Toronto, Ontario. >> Canada. Okay. And what did Halabuk do? What did Halabuk do that potentially. pissed off an entire country? Just if. you could remind me of what he did. Um, well, are you talking what are you.
talking about? >> I stood on his head. I stood on his. absolute head to win the gold medal in. the Olympics. And every American that. was playing for American NHL teams after. winning the gold medal for the country. Not just that, women's and parolympics. as well. We have all of them. We own. hockey. So after we come back, all the. lads that are playing for American. teams, standing ovation, heroes welcome. >> They're doing the national anthem. And. then immediately afterwards, speaking of. America, here's some damn good Americans.
right here. Every way games blogging, hey, how you doing? >> Everywhere. >> How you doing? >> Both teams. >> How you doing? Then there's the American. guys. I go back and play in Canada. Headlines. Next day they wake up. This. coward piece of [ __ ] It's like, >> hey, hey Pat, >> not that they actually said that. I'm. not Hold on. Hold on. Need to need to. make sure I clarify. Did not actually. say that. but vastly different. experiences and you can understand why. the Canadians would potentially feel. that way about the Americans in that. particular situation and why the.
Americans felt that way about the. Americans in that situation. So, it's. interesting how one achievement, one. historic game by Halibuck could. potentially change a lot of stuff, but I. think it did. I think it actually did. from the human standpoint. But hockey. has never been this super loud get me. out of this town sport. So I think this. is a bit abnormal, right PK? >> It it is definitely for me. I absolutely. love Winnipeg. I love the city. I know a. lot of my teammates, ex- teammates have.
played there. Listen, I I'm not here to. speak for Connor Heluk. He can speak for. himself on his reasons for wanting out. I understand that a lot of Americanb. born players want to play in their. country. Brady Kachchuck, people are. giving it to him. He wants to play with. his brother, guys. Like, are you kidding. me? Like that's the end of the story. He. wants to play with his brother. Go play. >> Come on. >> Play with your brother. >> Teams in the National Hockey League. And. And you can make an argument. You can. make an argument that they haven't won a.
Stanley Cup and he's a big part of the. reason why they haven't won. So I'm not. saying it's all on him, but we have to. look at it objectively here. We have to. If he doesn't win the gold medal, is he. sitting out? Right. So So my my question. is my question is what is the reason? I. want to get full details on it. Okay. >> Because you won an Olympic gold medal. doesn't mean you get to come back and. then say dictate whatever you want to. do. It doesn't work that way. Now it. does. understand. >> from our understanding that's why it.
matters so much. >> Fired up. >> That's why it matters so much. Four. nations fun. We like Four Nations. We'd. like to win that one too. The one over. in Switzerland that you guys claim the. world champ. Fun. >> Who cares about that? >> Okay. That's fun. You guys have done the. Olympic one. I do think it means you can. walk into any barn and kind of say, "Hey, >> I don't want to play here anymore.". >> How many years left on the deal? >> A lot. >> Like 10. >> Sounds like five. Five to six. >> A lot. How many years does he have left. on that deal? And when did he sign it? >> Uh, sounds like information that we.
don't need to hear. >> Yeah, he's got five years left on that. He's got half a decade. >> MVP. >> Uh, you're the best, PK. We app would. like to let Canada know. We understand. it would not have been like that as bad. in America because hockeyy's not our. number one sport. But if it was an NFL. thing and Canada won the football thing. and there was Canadian teams and there. was American teams and the Canadians. come back into America and start you. know. >> I think American media and humans would.
have a certain feeling just the nature. of the beast. I didn't love that Halabuk. who was our MVP in that gold medal game. by far Jack Hughes huge goal. Halibuck. though saw every puck, >> stopped every one of them. >> Yes, he did. >> 100 shots not enough. This guy went. absolutely crazy. To not get the chance. to experience everything all his. teammates are experiencing. Like, what. the [ __ ] do I do this for? >> Yeah. >> They're like, "Well, five years is a lot. of money is what you're doing it for.". Okay, shut up. Go get that net. We don't. know if that's the reason. We assume.
>> Last question here, PK before we let you. go. Got to know what's going on. Go. ahead, D. >> Yeah, PK. Uh, you already mentioned. Florida Panthers still your favorite to. win it all. So, I assume you have. confidence in March in the net. But, uh, AJ text me. He has to get the details on. this shirt that you have on. We got to. know where you got this tart from. What's the brand? I know you're a. fashion icon, but give AJ these details, please. He was scared to ask. >> You talking about this shirt here? Yeah. The one I'm wearing right now? >> Yeah. That's not a shirt. >> The other Simone Simone Roa. Simone Roa.
>> Uh, she's doing a lot of great stuff. I. love this shirt. I picked it up actually. early fall. Been waiting till today to. bust it out. But I also got I got my. Rick Owens boots on tonight. >> Rick Owens clean. >> I got the And. I don't need to be seen. Tight waisted. >> Tight waisted. I'm I'm all buttoned up. I'm buttoned up today. And Pat, by the. way, >> I wasn't going to put my outfit on until. I got to studio, but I knew I was. coming. >> Hell yes. >> So I put my my outfit on for the car.
ride just to make sure that I was. looking tight and right for your show. So I knew it. Yeah, he put that [ __ ] on, dude. The other day. >> I had to put this on. >> the other day. You were wearing. something that was just so absurdly. ridiculous. What was it was like a a. dub? >> He had like a. >> So, so let me go through that look. A. lot of people had questions on that. look. It's a specific look. We're really. going for that kind of 60s7s Jimmy. Hendris violton's. doing a lot of creative things right.
now. He's hot right now. Pat really hot. in the fashion world. So, it was a deep. V. Uh, probably a little deeper than. most people uh would wear, specifically. men, you know. But hey, dude, you got to. put that [ __ ] on, you know. It uh. >> you do got to put that [ __ ] on. Who's. the guy who's doing a lot in the fashion. world? >> Dre Van Notton. One of my favorite. >> Dre. Dre. >> Hey, Dre Van Notton. They said when Van.
Notton gets the smoking in there. Oh, you're going to be totting the good. stuff there. Where's he from right now? >> Where's Van Toten? He's Dutch. >> Uh, no. He's He's from the He's from I. think he's same as Vivian Westwood, I. think. >> Yep. >> Yeah, >> he's Belgian. >> Belgium. >> Might be Belgium. >> There's a Guten Belgian. They speak uh. >> they speak a lot of English over there. and Flemish. >> mostly. >> John Cod Vanam. >> Flemish. >> And then they beat the [ __ ] out of us in. uh soccer, right?
Yeah, this is D van N. >> Dre van N. >> There he is. >> This is a D van. And what are you. wearing now? You're wearing Surberry. pants on the trousers. >> Yeah, the trousers are crazy in that, too. You can't sleep on those trousers. Those are the Burberry trousers. I'm not. a big Burberry guy, but those trousers I. had to have. >> And then it's the details pack, right? >> Yeah. Dese is from. >> Is that Ricky Owens on your feet? Oh, that's where my uncle lives actually. >> Ricky Owens. Ricky O's always there's.
always a hint of the inspiration of Rick. Owens. Definitely. >> What did Moose say? >> Always. >> What did Moose say when he walked in. there? >> Okay, that's a great question. I'm so so. happy you asked me that question because. most people are probably like, "Mess. probably thinks this guy's the biggest. idiot and he has to work with him, right?" But Mess didn't say anything. Mess is very complimentary off camera. I. don't know if he'll give me the. compliments on camera because he's got. his buddies watching and stuff, but off. camera, off camera, he always tells me I. look great. So, that's a shout out to.
me. I appreciate he's the best teammate. That's why he's a captain and a leader, right? He lets everybody be themselves. So, >> great teammate. He comes right in and. say, "Hey, you put that [ __ ] on today.". Hey, you put that you're the man. >> Great question. >> Had to had to. As soon as he popped up, had to ask. that aid into a lot of time. that this man has. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now, junior NFL insider from. ESPN NFL Network. I'm sure he's got some. gross van Norton uh and some sero vans.
me. Uh ladies and gentlemen, Ian Rapaort. >> Junior, what's that there? What's that. you got on? >> This is uh this is flag and anthem that. I got on right now. It's a great. >> Oh, and then also you need a leather. jacket, right? We've seen you guys. >> You need one. >> Yep. And I I do have I didn't bring it. today. I got a leather and I got a. members only. I didn't bring either. today since it's nice outside. >> Are they still going to let you on the. show? >> I don't know. >> Uh we'll find out. I have not talked to. them yet. So I got couple minutes. >> It's a big day with big shri.
>> breaking down all of the big plays. >> Okay, big plays right now potentially. Uh coming out of last night, any updates. on anything? I know Blake Groupy, little. Blake Groupy just got signed to the. Rams. I believe he's gonna be an. upgrade. Even though we all thought Meas. was gonna be one of the best kickers in. the NFL, Blake Groupy never missed for. us. Spencer Schrader just got healthy. He legitimately has not missed. So, little Blake Groupy will be good out. there. Any other transactions or trades. that we need to be uh keeping an eye out. for? Marvin Harrison Jr. moves to the.
Texans. That was crazy the way that all. went down. Shfter got to the bottom of. that. Any other names we need to keep in. mind that could potentially be on the. move? >> Yeah, I mean, you you hit the Rams one. That was obviously big with with the. kicker news. expect them to dedicate. more time to special teams. Now, you. mentioned the the Harrison trade. Um, I. would say this, there's you're going to. see a lot of trade conversations now. kind of going on around the league as. teams, you know, some teams are hitting. buys, some teams maybe need a little. more. Um, I would say a name that I've.
been wondering about is Jawan Jennings. Uh, so he's with the Minnesota Vikings, had like two catches. Um, obviously came. over from the 49ers. I expect his name. to heat up a little bit over the next, you know, probably couple days and. weeks. And obviously the 49ers lost Debo. for a couple weeks, too. So, they make. sense. Um, that would be a name for me. to keep an eye on over the next little. bit. Like, those are the kinds of trades. we'll see, I think. >> Quick follow up on Debo. That was a. non-cont it appeared. What was that? I. know we've heard it's a couple weeks.
>> Yeah. Uh, so it was just a a bad. hamstring pull. Uh, I was told out two. weeks likely and then they have the buy. He'll probably be re-evaluated after the. buy. I do not believe that he's headed. to IR. So the hope is he can come back. within that four game but fivew week. window. >> AJ has a question about a quarterback in. a hamstring in Chicago. Go ahead AJ. >> Yeah. What about Caleb Williams? What's. the prognosis on his return? I think it. looks pretty good for this week. Uh to. see first of all he returned to practice. Friday last week and they listed him as.
questionable which didn't really have a. chance to play last week but he did work. out pregame pretty hard and so I've seen. that workout practice Friday. It was a. three to four week injury. This is the. fourth week. There's a pretty good. chance we see Kale Williams back which. like you know no disrespect to anyone. involved but the Bears will be better. when they have one of the best. quarterbacks in the NFL out on the. field. Like that'll be a good thing for. sure. multiple games without him. That's. great quarterback room. That's what. backup quarterbacks are supposed to do. If he can get back and play the way that.
Case Keenum played that first night on. Monday Night Football against the. Eagles, the way Tyson Bean played. whenever they had more first downs than. the Jets had plays as a total. Excited. to see Caleb get back maybe with a. refresh mind on how to operate as he. sees somebody else do the offense. >> It's supposed to help. Yeah. >> Yeah. Help for Bryce Young down in. Carolina whenever he saw Andy Dalton. Let's talk about two other players that. we haven't seen in some time. Go ahead, Debb. >> Yeah. Two elite pass rushers. Miles. Garrett, they said on broadcast he. wasn't close to returning, which was. kind of surprising to me. And then. Michael Parsons, who's supposed to be. coming back uh soon here. Any update on.
those guys? >> Okay, so for Miles Garrett, it was I was. told it was about a six-w week injury, maybe a little longer, but probably. about six weeks. So he had surgery the. day after week one. So I would say week. seven is probably a good target for him. This is week. >> six. >> So I would say there's a chance he Come. on. >> Yeah, there's a chance Come on. That. that was I nailed that. What do you mean. I nailed that? >> Yeah, but we're just saying last week. you had no idea what week it was. We're. way too early in the season for you not.
to know what week before I came on just. so I would know the week and then I. forgot what I had checked. But anyway, proud of you. So, >> yes, thank you. Um, so I think there's a. chance he practices this week. My guess. is week seven he's at least practicing. his return is coming and it's like you'd. like to have him out there but you want. him when he's out there to be 100% and I. think he will be for Micah Parsons the. Packer the way that Packers evaluate. things are medical first above all no. matter what and then football they are.
very conservative uh he's not going to. practice this week I think there's a. chance he practices next week hopefully. will he get out on the field and play I. don't know but his return is coming too. it's just they are not going to put him. in harm's way at all And this defense. played really well last week without. him. >> Yeah, they looked unbelievable. 93 and. one with Micah last year. Then they. would lose six straight without Micah. So getting to when Micah could return, which everybody thought was going to be. week six against the Cowboys was what. Packers fans wanted. Then they performed. like they did last week against the.
Bears. I think Packers fans are happy. But this could have been a much bigger. story that week six was the projection. and then maybe even week five was the. projection. Then you came on two weeks. ago or three weeks ago and you said week. six, week seven maybe. That was the. first time we had heard a delay into. week seven. If he's not practicing till. next week, AJ, you would know better. than me as we have a a hard out here. with rap in about a minute and a half or. so. You would know better than me. One. week of practice, he's going to need a. couple weeks, right? >> I assume so. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, we're probably pushing into. like week eight probably, which if the. Packers continue to play the way they.
play, that's okay with you guys. >> Yeah. And his brother actually said like. I think mid November was kind of always. what, you know, I assume he knows more. than the average fan does. >> Yeah. But that week Dallas Cowboys uh. Sunday Night Football was like what we. all expected and were hoping for. But in. reality, maybe that was never going to. happen. >> No. And he can't get hurt. He he needs. to be ready to go when he gets out there. because their season goes right down the. pooper if he gets hurt. >> Okay, speaking of season going right. down the pooper potentially whenever. somebody was out now quick hopefully. Go. ahead, Con.
>> Yeah Rob AJ Brown out since week one on. the IR. He's eligible to come off after. this week. Is that the case or is he. going to probably take the Jets weekend. off and come back next week? Uh, I just checked on this. I was told. no answer yet. So, I think what they're. probably going to do is have him come in. tomorrow and just see where he's at. physically. I was told it's about a. six-w weekek recovery and we are at. four. So, even if he practices, I know I. know he wants to play. He is pushing. very hard to play. I would be a little. surprised right now if he was able to.
play. It would be awesome, but it seems. a little fast for me. I would I'd be. surprised. >> Six week. So, let's assume him week. seven, week eight. Last question here. >> And then they have the Thursday game. So. yeah, >> that's Chicago next weekend. >> Skip that. Okay, get another buy. Uh, last question here. We thank you for the. extra minute and a half. >> Yeah, Rap, there's some questions around. Penn and his ribs. Uh, there was some. talk that he could have came back in. that game, but got cold, got tight. Is. he going to play this upcoming week? What was the situation there? >> I think it's promising that he'll be. able to play. Yeah, I mean, that's what. happened. He he sat down, he got cold,
he got sore, and I think it functionally. it wasn't where it needed to be. So, they played Tua and then functionally. was really where they needed it not to. be. Um, I think. >> you feel good about that. I know you. feel pretty though. >> Um, >> yeah. >> Uh, I think there's I think there's a. pretty good chance he's out there. It. does not seem to be major. If he's able. to practice tomorrow, I think he should. be out there and play on Sunday. >> Okay. So, this is my first time hearing. this. If it's everybody else, I. apologize. He sat down, got tight, didn't feel like going back out there. Was he told not to go back out there by.
the two gentlemen that were talking to. him on the sideline? He made decision. How'd that come about? >> I do not know enough to know medically. what happened, but these were his words. after the game where he because it was. such a long wait. He was like he was not. able to go based on it kind of settling. in. That was my read. >> Okay, we appreciate you. Good luck on. big day with Big Shrekes breaking down. all of the big plays. Please have a trap. sheet. >> That panic stuff scares me.
>> Good news for the Falcons fans if he's. going to be playing. Yeah, but also no. >> I'm not going to go down that road. >> What happened, Mike? >> I'm not going to go down that road. I'm. not going to go. >> You left us out to dry, Mike. >> So, I saw, you know, a quarterback um. essentially tap out of a big POS uh. situation. I'm not saying this what. happened with Penn at all, okay? I'm not. saying that. I'm saying I have seen this. and we have seen this once before or. twice before this situation, not the.
panic situation, a situation where a. quarterback uh decides not to play even. though they can. And it's it's. devastating to the morale of the rest of. the locker room, the rest of the. building, city fan base, everything like. that. >> If Pennix in real time was being told. though, hey, probably safe to not go. back out there because we don't know. exactly what that is. >> I think that's we should know that. information. I think we should find out. that information because I think that is. a big piece for the narrative that's. going to get built about Bennox. I just. this is not how I feel. I think this is. just as fans would feel as a whole.
because of what happened and what was. happening with that Atlanta Falcons. team. They're in the middle of rolling. since Penn got back prime time. Prime. time. Now they're going they get into. overtime after a huge play and it's like. to not go out there and finish the job. with your teammates. I think we should. we got to hear that he was told that he. was very dangerous. Uh, don't you think, D, but I don't want to speak. >> like too negatively because we don't. know what the injury is. I am nowhere. near as tough as PennX is. He's been. through a lot of injuries. He knows his. body better than I do. But from a.
football fan perspective, narrative. perspective, I think there there should. be some clarification on everything that. happened on that sideline because. there's two guys talking to him very. intently and then those guys walk away. and then the towel goes over his head. >> Yeah, they were talking to him a lot. Usually we'll see or I'll be looking for. if if they took his helmet away. Usually. that's a telltale sign that they they're. trying to protect you from yourself. And. he did come back in the game after the. injury, after the hit, and then. obviously he left and and never. returned. So yeah, I'm interested to. see, you know, how it unfolds, but it's. going to be a tough look, but he's a.
tough guy. Like you said, all the [ __ ]. that he's been through. I'm sure if he. could have been out there, he would have. been out there. The comments made that. he made after the game kind of made it a. little worse because he said, "Hey, we. got the ball first. I tighten up. It. got, you know, that, you know." So we. we'll see how it all plays out. But um. we we know how it is in in the locker. room. You gotta you you got to be hurt. to not like really injured to not get. back out there, especially as a. quarterback. >> Also fans like the Atlanta fans. >> But do you think that maybe the fans. will kind of give them a pass because. they've been so hammered dog pissed with.
all the other quarterbacks. It's like. whatever. You can't get hurt. We need. you. >> Hey, listen. If you fell hurt, you do. you, man. Exactly. We can't have we. can't have what happened out there. >> You see what happened with Tua? We If. you're hurt, don't play. >> He went out. Our dumb asses thought this. was Alabama when he comes in in the. second half of the national champion. Everybody was. We were living in it. That clip was shown to us 3,000 times as. sports fans because it is a legendary. moment in the history of the second. largest sport in the United States of. America. Wow. We have eyes on this.
thing. All right. You're starting the. second half. We'll go with two guys. All. right. All right. See you later. Huge. massive. He's got half a bag of. >> now known America's best in his face. while he's making that decision. And. then the story of two of going I kind of. had a feeling I was going to go out. there. I don't know. I was like 80%. against the defense the week before Kirk. Herbstreet said going into halftime he. even said are they going to go to the. freshman because it had been lingering. It had been lingering. Then he goes out. there and just national champs. How you.
doing. >> with that fresh on our mind him going. out in overtime even putting a helmet. on. They have a side view of him next to. the boys. It's like we're about to see. >> Drake first. >> strike. >> dart. >> in the same stadium too. >> A dart. meatball sub. >> And the Dolphins fans were like this. ain't Alabama and we've been telling you. that. >> So hopefully Pennix is okay. >> Hope so. >> And I think he was probably told hey we. don't know. >> Also hope so.
>> Big day with Big Shanks is next here on. ESPN. See you then. All right, Mr. N you pumped it up pretty good. >> and you did with. >> You think they were they told Penn it's. possible like without a scan like hey. you know how guys have had like. lacerated spleen things like that like. internal damage or something they they. were worried about something like that. >> That's what I'm saying. I I think that. there's at least a conversation. happening that says like we don't know. what's all in there because if you do. have a fractured rib and then you land.
on that that can do some real damage on. the inside. So, I'm just hoping in my. mind that that was presented just like. maybe, hey, early in the season still, we don't exactly know. >> Be extra careful. You Yeah, it's got to. be something like that because as I just. give you the perspective as players and. maybe this is outdated or barbaric, but. if it's a pain management issue, you got. to play through that. I don't care how. uncomfortable you're I don't care what. injur you got to play through just. strictly pain. If it's other [ __ ] which.
we don't know, we're not part of the. medical staff, that's a completely. different story. But as a teammate, that's something you're going to be. looking at. And that you once you got. out there, it is early in the season, you want them out there for the rest of. the season. But it's a tough ass game. The the best quarterbacks that we all. grew up fans of, whether they were. athletic quarterbacks or pocket. quarterbacks, you played through a lot. of a lot of [ __ ] So, um, and all these. games are going to come down, you know, every week 18 is going to come down to a. game, especially in that division. So, as a fan, as a teammate, um, you know, obviously number one, you want him to be. healthy, but number two, you want your.
quarterback out there if he can be out. And just think about the story. He comes. to plays, wins, next morning, fractured. rib. >> Yeah. >> This guy played with a fractured rib. through. We've heard those stories. before. >> Exactly. >> Those are like the stories we've heard. before. >> So. >> Lewis back. >> Matthew Stafford. >> Matthew Stafford with Penn. >> Yeah. It's kind of. >> my name had that what broken ankle ankle. had a tornado. Bill Rivers played a.
playoff game with a torn ACL. Remember. >> back in the day? >> Like these are the story we know as fans. of sport and of league. >> Thomas Davis's arm in the Super Bowl. >> Just got surgery six days before. >> look like a football. >> So this is kind of the stories of. football. So I I think fans know the. game, appreciate the game, understand. the game. Also think to themselves, did. that guy tap out in the middle of. overtime right there? And I don't think. that's fair to Penn because we don't. know if he did that.
>> Don't know. And a lot like you said a. lot of talking on the sideline from the. medical. >> Two people talking to him. Obviously. it's quarterback with how good they are. I'm thinking he was told we don't know. what's going on. >> I mean he was crying like it's not as if. he didn't want to play. He was literally. towel over his head like holding his. eyes. He was crying. He was so upset. about it. It's just if you know. >> but they should come out and say that. I. I think that should be a statement that. you remember when Tua got hurt and. tapped out of a game. >> Uh yes for Miami with Yeah. And then the. Miami Dolphins PR came out and they were. like, "Turns out it was [ __ ].
nothing." And just moves along. You. remember that? >> I remember that. >> Yeah. >> Like a prime time football game. >> Yeah. That was at like early. >> I remember to put his life on the line. >> and I think he did end up having like a. broken leg. Yeah. It was wrong. >> Yeah. They ended up being Yeah, that's. what So I'm just telling you, I remember. thinking to myself, damn, this team just. killed this man. And then I think they. were wrong inevitably. And we might not. have got the wording right of what they. said, but it was in the gist of that. nature where it was like, "Yeah, our. quarterback that got out of that game. that we could have won and we end up. losing turns out really nothing's wrong.
with them." And then like a couple weeks. later or a couple days later was like, "Hairline fracture actually pretty. >> he broke three ribs." Um, >> yeah. So, we've seen it in the past, but. those two guys and Pennics were talking. for a long time right there. And there. had to be some sort of conversation. about what was happening in there. At. some point, I'm assuming one of the bold. hats there said, >> "We honestly, we don't know until we. scan you. We we we have no idea what is. happening there until we scan you, but. there is a chance at Bob." I'm I'm just. keeping that in my mind because of how.
good Penn looked and how that Falcons. team has looked with him at quarterback. I don't like what people are saying. about what Bjon did when Tua got in. there, though. >> What What did he do? >> Wow. >> People were saying as soon as Ta got. here, Bjon was looking at anybody on the. sideline saying, "Oh, I did see that.". >> Oh, I think he's good. I think he's. good. >> Yeah. That's what they're saying. But maybe he. was saying, "Hey, could you redo the. call?" Yeah. To his old confused. I am. wondering, you got Brian Robinson and. Bjon Robinson, Kevin Sfansky, who. >> offensive guru. If there was a thought, you know, just, hey, let's just let's.
put the Robinsons back there and whoever. the center wants to snap it to, we'll. just put that one quarterback. >> There was a chance though, too. I. thought Dave Bolt was on the sideline. though, still calling plays. >> Had the right on. >> What are you talking? >> What about that first throw? What about. that first throw? Unbelievable to see. him like that. >> You can't go. >> I can't believe. >> can't draw back. >> Let's pivot away from that. Hopefully. Penn is healthy. >> and uh we appreciate him looking out for. himself because that [ __ ] in there is. pretty damn. >> Oh, yeah. >> We were talking about this yesterday. I. don't think you guys you guys act like. you never seen it before.
>> No, I liked it. I liked I think Morgan. that first time seeing it throw the DBs. off. >> Yeah. You know, I'm going to I think. this is what quarterbacks will start. This might be the next evolution. >> and then transfer back to throw. So. >> yeah, you just it's just a nice move by. fluid mode. >> The amount of fakes you can throw, right? >> My brain's having anger right now. watching it. So I'm thinking it would. affect the DB. >> It's like November in Pittsburgh. >> Oh, easy to do. Oh yeah. Easy with the. weather. >> Yeah. Just take that thing completely. out of your throwing hand. Put that. thing right back in there and then boom.
Cuz I mean anybody can do that. >> Defenders wouldn't know what to do. either cuz they're going for this. >> Yeah. Exactly. Ball's not there. >> Pitch. Pitch. >> You're going to have to And you. especially you have to make sure you get. the laces perfectly on that transition. right there. >> Yeah. Maybe they need. >> practice. I guess. >> they need to work on some jugs. Boom. boom boom boom bang. >> They're going for strip sacks and oh, ball's not there. >> Also, let's not even think about the the. fake of the pitch that's happened. >> Exactly. >> Cuz you you drew a little. >> a DN come crashing down and bite for the.
suck up the linebackers. >> Oh my god. >> You're not exposing the ball at all. right there either when you pop it out. >> You know what? I'm expos Any good fake. has to be exposed. Okay. >> Right. Risk reward. >> Yeah. You have to live out. No biscuit. No biscuit. You know, >> but I'm taking that thing. I'm going go. boom. So this the secondary. >> sees this one. >> They're all breaking right now. >> This one here. And then the the. defensive line sees the inside. >> Probably stop covering. >> And really this is the triple threat. position of football. Now that I think. about it, because basketball has that. right here, triple threat. >> Tribble, we can shoot. We can pass.
>> I don't know why these super genius. quarterback do it all. >> I don't know what's going. >> I see like Jayen Herz's doing it this. weekend. And then what happens? Defense. just falls all over themselves. >> 80 yard touchdown. >> All right. This one goes in. Boys are. going to start doing it. >> Here we go. >> Yeah. Count it. >> Siri was an OC. >> Yeah. >> For the Colts. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That's where he cut his teeth.
>> They can't figure out offense, huh? >> He called plays for Jaylen. >> Yeah. >> And then he handed over the Reigns. And. then they handed over the Reigns. And. then they hand it over the reigns. And. then they hand it over the reigns. >> It is interesting. >> And then they hand it over the reigns. That was six. Was that six times I just. did that? >> I think you're right. Yeah. >> So that's how many times he's had a new. coordinator. >> Who talked to us about how big of a deal. it is? >> Quarterback. >> Bryce Young. >> Yes. >> Bryce Young talked about how many he's. like just the nuance of not only calling.
the play, but when, why, what we're. going to do, how we're going to do, what. he likes to do. He's learning me, too. By the way, I'm franchise quarterback. He's having to I'm for Jaylen Herz, Super Bowl MVP quarterback, >> new offensive play caller. He's learning. what the [ __ ] I like to do as well at. the same time. >> I don't think that's sustainable for. Jaylen. No. >> And it's clearly not at this moment. >> You got to communicate it to the other. guys, too, cuz quarterbacks are an. extension of the coach on the field. So, and we see it every week. It's going to. be a next man up situation. So, if you. have new O linemen, new running backs,
protection, new wide receivers, you're. still somewhat learning because the the. the schemes, the the offense, the. defense is like we're changing and. tweaking [ __ ] as the weeks go. But if. you have a baseline, a fundamental of. what you like. I'm sure AJ, if you were. the play caller for three or four years, like two minute comes, you know, 137, one timeout, you almost know what that D. coordinator is going to call the first. play and probably the first play coming. out of a timeout in a huddle. So, like. just having that comfort to where you're. not thinking about the play, you're more. so thinking about, okay, what splits am. I going to get? What motions am I going.
to get? What can I communicate? Like. that just I I that was for me as a. nickelback or or a safety or corner. So, I can imagine what that is for a. quarterback every year having to relearn. that [ __ ] in OTAAS and then going to at. this point in the uh season, you're. trying to be on 300 level [ __ ] but. you're still on the basics. >> You're saying that people are saying. Siri needs to start calling plays. They're saying um that it's crazy how. people are always blaming the offensive. coordinator for the Eagles. Um yeah, Siri does get a lot of the blame, but.
it's it's crazy how I think a lot of the. people on the internet now are saying. like, "Oh, we forgot this." Sirion is an. offensive guy. Like this this should. fall maybe more on him. Even though they. do blame him for stuff, but it's not. just the offense. >> He had the wide receivers all bought in. whenever everybody thought the wide. receivers wanted to fight everybody. I see Big Dom's talking. >> Always is. >> Where at? >> As long as there's a camera there. >> Whoa. >> Come on. >> A lot of people A lot of people were. shocked where he was talking. >> I don't think I don't think he knew a.
camera was there. >> Oh, sure. >> I think he was just talking amongst. friends about what's going on with the. Eagles. >> Sure. >> Listen, you need a representative for. the Eagles. >> I'll be there. >> Big Dom will do that. The rest of the. guys trying to figure out what the. [ __ ] going on on the field. Dom also. does that. But if you need to go talk. for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Birds. Downer, he will certainly pop in and do. as such. I wish we had a live stream of. this so I could see it. Ty, what do you. think was talked about here by Big Dom.
as he said, so we'll get this figured. out with the Philadelphia Eagles? >> Well, I believe it was at some sort of. Democratic Party deal uh as well. So, I. think first and foremost, he said, you. know, he endorsed Bernie Sanders. We. were talking about that out there. He. said, "Bernie 2026." And also, we're. going to get this figured out. Don't. worry about it. Questions. Go. >> You guys went just to Bernie. I don't Is. Bernie from Philadelphia? >> No. No, he's not. He's not. He's from uh. the Northeast somewhere, you know, Delaware or uh Vermont, you know. Vermont, I believe. Yeah, Vermont. There. we go. >> So, you and I think governor of.
Pennsylvania is from Philadelphia, Josh. Shapiro. You're saying he. >> Big Dom is no fan. He's no fan. >> I think he is. He's speaking of probably. his. >> He's a Bernie guy, which is I think a. lot of people are like, what's going on. here? I thought we had But you know, hey, Big Dom's a mover and shaker. God, I just this just reminded me I own I owe. uh Governor Josh Shapiro a suit thing. >> You do? >> Because of what happened with the Pens. and the Flyers. I hope somebody tells. him that uh I will like to do that next. time the Pens beat the Flyers. We'll do. that. I I will do that. Like to have him.
on the show. Philadelphia obviously. whenever uh they launch the UFC coming. back to Philly, we got a chance to chat. with them. That city hardworking city. Believe it's big union city as well. >> Certainly. And Big Dom's potentially. talking to Eagles fans saying, "Hey, we're going to get this fix. >> We're going to get it fixed.". >> No one runs the unions like Big Dom and. the boys. >> No, the guy that runs the unions is the. Long Shoreman. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. He shut the country down. >> Do you remember that? >> Oh yeah. >> Hey, it's not bad now. Until when?
>> Car dealerships got no cars. How do you. get the cars in the land? They come. through my ducks. Our ducks. We'll shut. them all down. Cars are just the start. You want to build that house? Lumber. Okay. not coming into [ __ ] America, my guys. Not doing anything. We just. want to have a conversation. That's all. we're looking for. You guys are kind of. overlooking us right now. And lo and. behold, >> it did become quite a nightmare there. for a while. >> And he had sweet glasses on. >> And he was not scared of a damn thing. That was a wild time to be alive.
>> Hey, hospitals, they need medicine. >> Oh, okay. >> Okay. What bottles are they going to put. them in? Cuz those are coming through. our docks. We just want to have a. conversation. medicine, houses, cars, I. don't know, food. We got that, too. Whatever you guys need, we got coming. through our docks. >> Let's talk about it. That was a great. playbyplay. >> Yeah. >> I wonder what deal was made there. And I. do remember thinking to myself, it's. crazy how everything could just how. everything is a house cards. >> Oh, yeah.
>> It got figured out pretty quickly, too. They were like, "Oh, this guy's not. [ __ ] around.". >> He said, "Come into my office.". >> They came in, >> he had sick pinky ring. Mhm. >> put that thing right on display. He. shook their hand, turned that [ __ ]. thing just like this. They went to pat. him on top. He said, "I don't think so.". He put his hand on top of that. They get. a deal done. Good for him. I think the. Long Shore Union is getting paid pretty. good probably for a long time. And by. the way, I think we need it. >> Yeah. No question. >> From my understanding, cars, houses, >> uh, food,
>> medicine, >> medicine, >> everything. >> Electronics. >> I thought we made that here. Nope. There's also stuff from there. We got. it. >> Mhm. That was a great power play by him. Kind of [ __ ] us a little bit, but he. was saying we were getting kind of. screwed in the entire process. Happy. they made amends. >> Got it done. >> Yeah, absolutely. Join us now, man. It. gets the deal done with a lot of folks. >> I mean, he's got deals for everybody. >> Tonight, the final episode of season 10. of his Contender Series is at 700 p.m. on Paramount.
In December, he's promoting a boxing match between. Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. October. 24th, he's got a UFC fight card that has. Vulcanovski. >> Holy. >> at the main event. And oh yeah, he's. probably trying to create something on. the moon at this exact moment. Ladies. and gentlemen, UFC's president, Zufa. President, uh, Mr. White Investment Funds President,
ladies and gentlemen, Dana White. >> Yeah, Dana. >> How you doing, Dana? >> What's up, guys? How are you? Good. morning. >> Did I miss any? I feel like I missed Oh, Super Slapfest. [ __ ] I missed the. slapfest. Uh, I think there's some other. stuff. Oh, we're playing Bakar for uh a. million dollars a hand. Wait, did I miss. anything else? Dana, >> couple things, but not important. >> Also, moving Ram. >> Hey, life. Oh, yeah. Meta board member, thank you for the virtual reality. glasses. Jeez, I appreciate you. Life is. good over here. I hope the same for you.
Congrats on having everything happen. Season 10 here of Dana White's Contender. Series tonight on Paramount Plus final. episode. Is this still as special to you. as it was with that first season? Cuz I. know it was groundbreaking whenever you. started this. It was a huge deal for the. UFC to have like an amateur almost a. fill-in pipeline for the UFC. Now you're. 10 seasons in. How do you feel about it. at this point? And what do you expect. from the future from it? 10 seasons in, this might be our best season ever. A. lot of people are saying it. It was. incredible, you know, and obviously like.
you just said, it's been a amazing. pipeline for talent for us and. incredibly entertaining on Tuesdays for. 10 weeks a year. It's It's awesome. I. love it. Yeah. >> Any fight that you can get your hands on. and into, it feels like you like. Can. you tell me a little bit about an. Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury? This is. on Netflix. It's not a Zufa boxing, but. you are the promoter for the fight. Can. you tell me how this comes together and. how excited you are for these Goliaths. to battle in December? >> Yeah, we're promoting and producing the.
fight. It's at the uh Principality Stadium in. Cardiff, Wales. And uh I I'm excited. that I get to be there. It's basically. already sold out. I mean, uh I I I. haven't looked today yet, but when we. launched the tickets on sale, there was. less than 700 left, which is uh. basically considered a sellout. So, um, it just goes to show that people are. interested and care about this fight and. it's going to be live and free on. Netflix.
>> Okay. Tell me about Tyson Fury coming. out at the White House. >> Was this supposed to be announced then? Is Yeah. Yeah. And what happened? There. was just so much [ __ ] behind. >> [ __ ] A lot of [ __ ] has gone on. since then. And uh, >> here we are. We f we finally got here. We have tickets on sale. It it the. tickets did well and uh, yeah. So, it's. it's been interesting, but I I knew. these type of things were going to. happen when I got involved in a sport of. boxing. >> Okay. So, let's talk about the broader. picture of that. You were supposed to. have the Tyson Fury announcement at the.
250th celebration at the White House. right before Fourth of July. Tyson Fury. gets a walk out of the White House uh in. America, which I think was a big part of. the entire thing. Does the entire walk, has a conversation. Hey, what are you. doing? Think big announcements coming. from [ __ ] Big Dana here. Let me get. the [ __ ] off this microphone here. You. know, there's always been that type of. [ __ ] in boxing, I think, which is one of. the reasons why you guys were excited to. get into boxing. Now that Zufa has. started, you guys have gotten into it a. little bit. You're now hosting another. mega fight uh for Netflix for boxing for.
the ring. How has it been getting into. boxing after all the success you've had. in mixed martial arts, getting back into. the boxing world for you? How has it. been? You've expected the [ __ ] Is it. more [ __ ] than you expected? What do. you kind of uh how do you kind of design. it? >> No, it's as much as I expected, but it's. been fun. Actually, I've had a good. time. It's been less than a year and uh. it's been fun for me. I I I uh I'm. excited. Listen, if you guys have never. seen a fight in the UK, I mean, sporting. events period in the UK are are just. different. And uh you know, this is the.
biggest heavyweight fight ever in. England. So, I I expect this to be. really special live. And uh if you've. never been, you have the opportunity and. the finances to fly over to Cardiff, Wales, you should definitely do it. Uh, you know, this is one of those things. where, you know, generational guys are. finally fighting and, uh, you know, it's. going to be split. You're going to have. the AJ fans, the Fury fans, and I. guarantee you the arena is going to be. electric that night. And it's it's it's.
a lot of fun. If you have the the time, the money, and the whatever to get. there, you should do it. You got it. >> Definitely come check out this fight. You guys should set up out there and do. this fight. >> Yeah. December 11th. Um, so. pretty big football stuff. Uh, what time. is it at? >> It is, uh, it's going to air on here in. America in prime time. So, uh, it'll be. late there. >> Okay. So, it's going to be real late. That's one of those, uh, like 9 to.
midnight type fights over there. Is that. how you expect it to be? >> Yeah. Do you know the exact time, Len, that it goes off? a legend. >> We don't. >> um I don't know. We'll get you all the. information, but I'm telling you, it's. it's it is badass to see these kind and. this thing's going to be in a stadium. It'll be sold out. I mean, there's. 80,000 seats in this place, so it'd be. awesome to have you there. >> Yeah, definitely. If I can get to a. boxing. 80. >> legend 80,000 people. Okay. I That's a.
completely different game changer. Shout. out to you getting that done. AJ has a. question for you, Dana. Yeah, Dan, going. off the the boxing, how like is the. headache worth it? I know you said. you're having fun with it, but you. already have so much going on. We know. that. Like I guess what has it been like. throughout this whole process? And like. it seems like a lot more on your plate. even though you seem to love to work. >> Yeah, there's definitely I've traveled. more probably this year than I have my. entire career, but uh I'm enjoying it. It's not like I'm like I'm burnt out or.
you know I I don't want to do it and I'm. not having fun. So yeah, >> going back and forth with other. promoters, Dana, it's fun watching you. kind of go back and forth with some. other promoters that like to to talk. >> Well, you know, I'm right. So, it's not like I'm I'm in. this thing where, you know, coming out. or lying about anything. It's just that. that's been a whole different weird. situation, but it is what it is. Um, but. it's all good. It's all good. Listen, I.
whatever has happened between me and. Eddie Hearn and you know uh Frank Warren. is also involved in this fight. that the the the fight sold out and. listen Eddie pushed hard for this thing. to be in in the UK and uh you know I was. trying to do it at MSG. It's in the UK. and sold out an 80,000 seat stadium and. and like I said the the I truly believe. that in Madison Square Garden it's a. five hour flight from the UK that would. have sold out immediately too and uh the.
energy would have been the same because. I don't know if you've ever seen when. you know the Irish come over for Conor. McGregor fights it's absolutely insane. Uh Ricky Hatton fights in in Vegas were. insane. Uh the UK is a fun fun place for. sports. It's a combative business that. you're in all across the board. I I. think the worry publicly, Eddie's. backers and the boxing backers is that. they have the best for boxing in their. eyes and the way to go about doing it. You, TKO, Nick Khan coming in with Zufa,
I think you guys feel like you're trying. to do the best for boxing as well. Is. there a disconnect in the messaging and. what is the goal in the initiative or is. this just strictly competitive business. going against each other? >> Yeah, it's competition. you know, we're. coming in like bulls in a china shop and. these guys are trying to, you know, protect their turf and, you know, it's. no different than any other business. And, you know, it's competition. We're. all competing. It's all good stuff. >> All right. Well, good luck out there. We. appreciate you taking the time. Good.
luck conquering everything that you're. setting out to conquer. And, uh, we. appreciate the hell out of you, brother. >> Thanks. And for those of you, this is. the last night of the Contender Series. It's the greatest show on television. And if you missed the season, this is. the last one. Tune in tonight on. Paramount Plus. >> Season 10, final episode. Best season. yet, says Dana. >> Yep. Says the fans. That's what the fans. are saying, too. So, incredible season. >> Love that. All right. Have a good one, brother. Ladies and gentlemen, it's. >> Later, boys. Thanks for having.
>> just competition. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. It's all good. Sold out. 80. I. don't think we knew that. When he was. like, there's 700 tickets left. I was. like, okay, we can move. MSG doesn't. hold that much. We know that. >> No. >> No. >> That's like. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. What is MSD? >> 20. >> 30. 25. >> 20 max. I was. >> No, not 30. Yeah. >> I don't know. I think MSG. >> for boxing when you can put them on the. floor. Yeah, maybe 20. You think? >> I don't know. MSG is big. I I remember. the number being bigger. >> We were there for um. >> finals.
>> Triple G and it definitely was not. >> 20,000 for boxing at the MSG. >> Yeah. >> Oh jeez, we were way off. I Oh, what number was I think? I was. thinking of the um. Deer Park Fair. Uh what's this? >> Oh, yeah. That's 20. Um Ruof. >> a Ruof amphitheater out here. >> Cuz I always assume you go theater, >> amphitheater, arena, stadium, like kind. of in that order. Or club, theater, amphitheater, arena, stadium. I thought.
that's kind of the development. These. amphitheaters are like some of them 27. 35. >> 24. Yeah, they're they're huge. >> Yeah. With all the with all the the lawn. seating. Yeah. >> Yeah. Cuz I was when I'm asking the. musicians when they're about to take. their next step, I'm like, "Are you. going to arenas?" They're like, "No, going to do amphitheater or whatever.". And it's like, "Oh, I was I was like. pumped for them." But I thought that was. it's like, "No, no, this is this is way. better actually. This is the business.". And then the guys and girls, I mean,
Taylor Swift could sell a stadium. literally in any continent on Earth. The. stadiums are just such a ridiculous feat. to have that many people interested to. go. 80,000 boxing fans. >> That's gonna be rowdy. >> Stadiums are crazy. These festivals, too. Like I'm starting to see them more. in like my Instagram feed. Like these. house music festivals with just a sea of. people. Like those just insane. >> That DMX video still. >> Y. >> Would you go to one of those festivals, Debb?
>> Would I? >> Yeah, >> absolutely. I like like house music. stuff. I don't know how I would react. being there, but they look cool when I'm. watching videos. >> Rufus Thrive. >> Rufus. I like the good um I wish we. could have been around for a I from my. understanding that would have been. outrage. I was at Coachella I think one. night. >> Oh, >> I think I went to I don't know if it was. Coachella or stage coach. >> Uh I I don't think I bought the the. right package. I mean, I was out there. in the middle of it. Well, that's a good.
question because it did feel like a lot. of people were on a lot of things and a. lot of the things that a lot of people. run are stuff that I'm not really into. A lot of the festivals they kind of do. whatever you got to do. >> Um, but I was kind of in there and I. remember thinking to myself, I got to. get out of here and uh and I did I drove. all the way back in an Uber to uh to. where I was staying in Los Angeles. It. was like three-hour drive and it was. >> Hey, it's probably fun calling an Uber. out there. >> Oh, yeah. Then you're in line for it. But it was a good spirit. like it felt. like a good spirit. Everybody was having.
good time. Everybody had the same. There. was an all good festival which was a. hippie festival that came through. Morgantown. Uh I think it popped through. there one time. That's really it. But. there's uh what's the one in Ohio? There's one in Ohio. >> There's a there's a rock like a rock. fest festival there. Rocking the range. >> Yeah. Well, there's a bunch of these. names that we're not saying right now. that. Yeah. Bonaroo. There it is. La Palooa. There's one in Ohio. There's a big. country one in Ohio. I I forget what it. is. I almost went to that one time when.
I was at West Virginia and then I saw. the group that was going and I thought. to myself, I don't want to commit to. >> Yeah. >> Ultra in Miami with these. >> Oh, yeah. >> Ultra is a big one. >> Tomorrowland is kind of the biggest one. >> Firefest. New Orleans Jazz. Here it is. >> They're sleeping out there, right? >> Oh, yeah. That's part of the package. >> ACL. >> Part of the packages are with that. >> And then what? Firefest. That was that. one. >> Yeah, that was a good one. >> Billy McFarland. Yeah, he was killing. it. He was gonna launch another one. Remember it was fire? >> Yeah, Mitt bought tickets. >> He did. He He had some.
>> Yeah, M brought all the water or. something like that. >> Yeah, he did. He had like 200 people. down on an island somewhere and had like. Jaw Rule. >> Did Didn't Mick buy a ticket for that? Did Mick go said he was going to? >> Yeah. No, I think he just got the NFT. version. >> Was responsible for the water. >> Billy's always cooking, isn't he? >> He was on Kill Tony, wasn't he? >> Billy. >> Mitt. I thought he Yeah, both. I thought. >> Jeez. >> Thought Billy was. >> I love that you guys thought that all at. the same time. I I my brain wouldn't. even put that together. Good for you. guys. >> Mitt was on Kill Tony.
>> so no Billy. >> walked out and did a minute. >> I thought he did. I thought I saw a. video of that. >> Are those professionals? >> The guys that go out. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I think so. Okay. >> I think they're all like. >> I always see the clips and I never know. >> Smaller comics, right? Or smaller. comics. >> Some of them have become big comics. through there. >> Who's the uh curlyhaired guy? Uncle. >> Italian guy. No. Curlyhaired blonde guy. >> Duski. >> Oh, >> you guys on SNL now from. >> Yeah, the black dude. Cam Shane Gillis.
>> Y. >> Shane Gillis was on there. Um Cam's. hilarious. He's also on there. >> Uncle Fester. >> Yeah, the white guy with the curling. >> I know exactly who you're talking about. >> Uh you know who I'm talking about? >> Yes, I do. >> He was at a bunch of WW. I've seen him. in a couple WWE living the gimmick. Yeah. I mean, two beers behind me. >> That's unbelievable that that's who you. are all the time. He was the entire. time. took a picture with him. Not him, though. There's a big long curlyhaired. guy. >> blonde. Bill's that uncle laser. >> Laser. There he is. There he is. Yeah.
Kill Tonyy's launched a lot of people. >> Yeah. >> The comedian world is very kind to each. other it feels like. And then probably. pretty uh vicious if I had to guess as. well, especially for talking about how. women are dressed in gyms. >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> That's the guy. I seen him on the. >> Oh, yeah. >> Good cut. >> Great cut. >> Yeah. hair always looks clean to the uh. big mullet. I think this is maybe even a. Titan version of what he had cooking. because he had a big [ __ ] waterfall. when I saw him. That thing was really.
out there and it was really doing it. Then I seen some of his clips from Kill. Tony. I go, "Oh, this is kind of how it. all goes." And then Tony says, "It's all. so silly.". You know, every time you ask him about. it. AJ, anything we missed today you. think that we have to talk about? I was. going to ask uh rap sheet what the. possible role for OBJ could be moving. forward. What do you guys think. >> with Minnesota? He was. >> allegedly potentially going to play last. weekend. Did not dress. I took OBJ Tud. just because uh you know if he was going.
to take it and Gumpy was certainly. supportive of the entire concept because. why would Kevin Oonnell even mention his. name if he's not going to make him feel. comfortable? He didn't play. Is he going. to going forward? Feels like he's. comfortable in the building. He's in. shape. Kevin Oonnell's offense if he can. run routes can find you, right? >> Yep. Learn assist. >> I mean, Raps had Joan Jennings get the. help. >> So, does that mean when Tyreek signing. too? >> Uh Drew Rosenhouse will let us know. about that probably, right before that. happens. >> That's an interesting news break. We do.
have news breaking. Long snapper news. The Jaguars are not going to continue. with Devon Hamilton. Oh, >> they're signing Jacob. >> So, he had to fly. >> Damn it. I was hoping OV made a return. >> Uh Matt Overton available. >> Still bringing it. >> Stay ready. >> I don't know if he I think he's pivoted. completely into the coaching ranks. I. think at this point. >> he would have been able to get the job. done though. He's going 12 laces 12. every time if he has to probably right. there in a hit bucket. At this stage I.
don't know how much covering's. happening, but if you can snap the ball. good on punts, don't have to cover. So. that I like that Devon Hamilton kind of. put a spotlight on these guys. >> because you saw Logan Cook going crazy. there on the bolds. >> Yeah, >> that could be every time. Instead, it is. expected to be right here and those. laces better be out that way, pal. Okay. And if they're not gone and on the punt, that thing better be hitting me right in. the hip. That that thing better be. hitting me right here. If it's not, you're gone. And if you're off a little.
bit, you're not right on the hip. I need. you to go make a tackle on every single. punt. If you can't tackle, you need a. perfect snap. If you can tackle, we'll give you a little bit bigger. strike zone. But you miss that strike. zone a couple times, gone. >> So any of these snappers you see snap at. the same place for 15 years, 14 years, that's literally snap to snap. That that. can all change very quickly. You you do. two bad snaps. If somebody snap like. Devon Hamilton snapped in this game and. he was the actual starting snapper, guys. cut. Yeah.
>> See you later. Never going to be seen in. the NFL again. It's a high pressure job, high stakes job. That's why Devon. Hamilton being able to execute, especially for a gamewinner. >> with his beline gloves and tape on, too. Like, that's even more impressive. Look. at that. >> So impressive. >> It's insane. It is absolutely insane. what he's been able to do. He's 340 lbs. >> Is that so. >> fat? He's got a gut. Guy's got a huge. gut. The gut is directly in the way of. your arms in the ball and then your eyes. in the person and the bend over. You got. to follow through to keep that down. his.
guts literally physically stopping him. from being able to do that. And then the. tape on the wrist, you're throwing a. ball. So, I don't know how he was able. to have such perfect spirals every. single time. If you snap those perfect. spirals like that, if you're an actual. long snapper, strike zone opens up a. little bit. Hey, you got perfect spiral. on that thing. We can catch it easier. That's a good thing. So, the high ones. would be the only problem. But, I'm so. impressed by Devon Hamilton. I hope he. never has to snap again. Hope his last. snap was that 57 yarder gamewinner.
Perfect snap that he gave. But. >> great way to walk it off. >> It is just the physical part is. extremely impressive. But the mental. part like he going from a p position. like DT tackle like all right you [ __ ]. up but rarely are you like the guy. that's going to be spotlight like a. corner, a wide receiver, a quarterback. or a left tackle. So going to the. position where you're only spotlighted. if you [ __ ] up and everybody's gonna be. looking at you every snap and then the. snap that you know obviously gamewinner. that's extremely impressive and you know. I'm saying respectfully he's a fat so.
looking at him now he probably has a. six-pack right under that big gut right. there but I that's that's unbelievable. performance by him the gloves the body. type just I don't know if I've ever seen. a guy that big go and and and executed. that position. >> I appreciate the Eagles also showing him. respect you show that last snap you he. stood straight up so whenever you get. your head up, you're allowed to get. blasted. So, it it's just like you have. to have time to get your head all the. way up. He snapped the field goal, the. last field goal on this video. And then. he stands straight up like literally.
just stands all the way up because he's. probably lost feelings in his hands. He. just stands up. What's up? He look back. to do it. How'd. >> it go? The Eagles could have punished. him for that. I think within the rules, you're not really allowed to hit the. long snapper. You're not allowed to line. up over the shoulders. You have to give. them clear amount of time to get their. head back up because guys were just. getting their heads jammed into their. guts. Even if they were attempting to. block it or not, you're just kind of. taking a shot at the long long snapper.
So, that's changed completely. I didn't. even see him. >> They could They could absolutely. >> Hey, well, how's it go? Pretty good. All. right, let me look ahead. All right. >> All right. Good work. Good work back. there, Logan. >> All right, let's get the hell out of. here, boys. Not a bad day. No, not at. all. >> Talk fighting. Yeah, talked uh What's. going on baseball? What's going on. baseball? What happened last night? >> Uh Brewers up two nothing. William. Contrus had a huge night, hit a homer, had three RBI's. And kind of just more. of the same. The Brewers just they put. the ball in play, they get guys on base,
they steal a bunch of bases and then. knock them in with singles. Everyone in. their lineup pretty much produces. And. uh their bullpen has been absolutely. dominant through two games. They chase. Yamamoto after two and two/3 innings. So, um, they ended up winning 74 and. it's been one of those things where the. really good teams like anytime the. Dodgers would score, they they answered. immediately. So, like they they went. down a couple times and they just fight.
They just fight. They get guys on base, they move them over. Uh, so they're up. 220 2 and they're going back to LA now. And in the other series, last night was. game one in the AL and the Rays jumped. out early to a two nothing lead and then. the Guardians uh they matched the total. number of hits that the Yankees had in. the entire last series last night. So. well while the Yankees kind of just. rolled over and died against the Rays, uh the Guardians are very scrappy. Very, very scrappy. So this one should be a. really good series. These teams are very.
evenly matched. Kind of the the same. deal. Put the ball in play and they got. two homers last night. Uh but that's not. what they're known for. They're going. to, you know, kind of try to nickel and. dime you play small ball. So both of. these series uh off to a good start, but. I think a lot of people are surprised. that the do uh the Dodgers are down 02. >> Okay, so Dodgers about to be out, Yankees already out. The teams that play. small ball and have a lower salary cap. have continued to flourish this. particular year as we stare down. inevitable lockout because there's too. much money on some teams and they're. going to dominate the game. Now.
off that contradiction of conversation. that's happening in front of us and. realize quarterbacks get greedy and they. don't want to take the easy one. Cover. two started becoming just every call and. quarterbacks just couldn't be patient. and do the check down. Is that what. we're talking about for teams that will. hit to get people on base? Is it like a. mentality thing? >> There's some guys that just won't hey. I'm not just going to get the bat on the. ball. So like yeah, the Brewers anytime. they have guys runners in scoring. position and as opposed to like teams.
like the Yankees or some of these other. teams who have massive payrolls and are. paying guys a bunch of money and like. their their intention is, hey, a. three-run homer is better than a single. right here where we get, you know, one. one run in and then in inevitably, you. know, instead of hitting a three-run. homer, you strike out three times in a. row and you don't get any runs. Whereas. you watch a lot of these Brewers. highlights like these guys are just. bloop singles into center field just. putting the ball in play because they. know, hey, we got a lot of speed on the. base paths and then eventually we will.
run into one. We'll hit a homer. But if. we have guys on base, we can't leave. ducks on the pond, especially not. against the Dodgers. So yeah, they get. runners in scoring position and they. don't give a [ __ ] if it's going to be. singles driving guys in. Like they don't. need to hit five homers to win games. >> Ty, what's going on with Shi? you saw. last dropped him to five and now they're. talking about rumblings of him being. >> he's he's definitely hurt and he's just. trying to gut it out because it's the. playoffs. They need him to play but then. it gets into a position where it it ends. up kind of being a detriment because you.
can just tell he's just not right in the. box waving at a lot of pitches, swinging. at stuff outside of the zone. Um so I. think it's still shoulder knee like he's. he's definitely not healthy and he's. trying to just gut it out but yeah. there's a chance that they bench him for. game three. How are the Red Sox doing? >> What? Who cares? It's freaking week five, man. This stuff's awesome. >> Boy, MLB is going to be real pissed when. it's Brewers versus Guardians and no one. gives a [ __ ]. >> No, legit. That is That is kind of the.
thing that's unfortunate is like it's. great baseball, but if the Dodgers don't. make it and it's. >> if it's Tampa and Milwaukee or Cleveland. and Milwaukee, it'll be one of the. lowest rated World Series ever. I watch. I watch cuz Miz I like the Miz. I love. the Miz. And I saw Travis Kelce. He. caught a fly ball. Then he get he got an. out for a Cleveland Guardian. Nice. >> Well, it's not banana ball, so that. doesn't count. It's just a souvenir for. a fan cuz it's not Mickey Mouse, you. know. Although, I do kind of like that. they do that. But, you know, not in the.
majors. We're not [ __ ]. >> Oh, so you're kind of coming around a. ban. >> in in that in that goofball league. Yeah, that's cool. But, uh, in the big. leagues, no. If you [ __ ] hit one into. the stands and someone catches it, it's. not an out. >> Just real quick, could can you do this. with me? >> I said all you say. >> No, I say revolution. Do you see them? Savannah Bananas. playoffs. O performing in the crowd. You. know who else was there? >> Who? >> Joe Bros. >> Yes, it was a Super Bowl. I know.
>> Savannah Jesse Cole [ __ ] O in the. crowd performing. >> Did you see the quote tweet going around. about that? >> Which one? They said they're gonna show. that to prisoners on death row instead. of uh euthanizing them. So. >> Oh, is that even. >> That's disgusting. John Cena showed up. in an old school Hummer. One like your. dad had tone that had one mile and a. gallon rolling out back there. No H1 Ho. original Hummer. John, >> is that the one?
>> I did not see this. is that. >> I think that was a game issue humr from. when he was in Fallujah with the Marines. too. So that you know pretty cool. >> right there. He just said raw raw raw. and they're like we're in the army. actually sir. He goes all right all. right. Runs the ball out there. >> hands the hands it off. >> Oh I thought he was going to pitch. >> I thought he was going to blow his knee. out right there. He didn't know the. mount was a little elevated. >> No he knows. He knows. >> Hey good luck out there. See you guys. can't see me cuz I'm out of here. So. they had John Cena showing up in a.
[ __ ] Hummer. >> They had the Joe Bros performing old. school bangers. Hadn't performed in a. long time. Had O in the damn crowd. And. then they had the guy wearing a cowboy. hat throwing [ __ ] 102 on the paint. I. mean, how could you not love what the. Savannah Bananas. >> When was this? >> This is during their super duper. playoffs this past week. >> Who won? >> No bananas. >> Did they? >> Yeah. They beat the [ __ ] out of tel. games. Hey, here's the uh here's Joe. Bros. >> Joe Bro. Hey, listen. And the Joe Bros. started the NFL season in Australia and.
they damn near [ __ ] brought those. cricket grounds down to the ground. These guys still got the juice. >> Oh, they played the firefighters. >> Yeah. >> I thought thought you said they were. playing the tailgate. >> Well, the tailgator lost in in the. championship round. This is the. >> You're not even a fan. You watch it. >> I watch it. I watch. >> Their playoffs are during football and. college football season. >> Uh, you know, they're like WWE, you. know, when one season ends, another one. begins. >> Different demo. You know, >> definitely. >> they sold out that uh stadium. >> Which one? >> That one. The big one with No.
>> Do they have an offseason for real? >> Or all the teams? >> I didn't know. >> The one wheel surfboard. >> Wheelie surfboard. >> Is this the beach bumps? Is that the. loco. >> coconut beach? Uh, excuse me. The loco. beach uh coconut. >> Oh, sick. >> Hey. Hey, boys. >> We go together. I think this was uh Yeah, maybe. >> I could not pull one Joe Bros song out. of my brain right now. >> They're in India Thursday. >> The Joe Bros. are.
>> at uh downtown. >> You're gone. >> Somebody got to pull my. >> I've been to the year 3000. >> That's not their big one. >> I don't That's the first one that came. to my mind. >> And I'm trying to keep it going. Yeah, I remember that one. >> Burning up. for you, baby. >> Yeah. And you know Joe is [ __ ].
playing. >> I know he is. Yeah, actually. >> I [ __ ] seen them. >> I know they do that. Who moved to. Australia? Which one? >> One of them did. That was a home game. for one of them. >> for a little bit. I. >> thought they live together still. >> Probably Kev. >> Kev. Yeah. Is that the middle one? >> I don't know. >> Kev is the old. >> Kev's the older one. He's the older one. Nick, right? The youngest. >> Hey, take in the ocean. Absolute heater. That's from Joe. >> They have a good. >> I'm not I'm not a fan of them as as. >> individual artist. No, no, no. >> You're only a team.
>> I'm a Joe Bros guy. Just a Joe Bros guy. >> Joe temporarily moved to Australia in. 2018 for a bit. >> There it is. Okay, >> that's connection, I believe. Then they. >> Oh, he was a celebrity coach on the. Voice Australia. That's why. >> Sucker for you. >> Yeah. Boom. There's another one. >> That's from Jonas Brothers. >> I'm a sucker for you. Keep going. >> Oh. >> my brain.
>> Yeah, that's a good song. >> Yeah, >> I remember what they did. Thank you for. your service to society, Joe Bros. Thank. you, Joe. >> They were coming to Indie. >> Yeah, >> we might have to pop by. >> Yeah, where at? Are they playing [ __ ]. >> bankers? Yeah, you don't see geek, brother. >> Lucas Oil Cambridge. Hey, I was. wondering about Lucas Oil. Are they. doing Lucas Oil? >> Got to be. It's game bridge. >> I don't know if I can get there. If it. was Lucille, I think I want to go. >> I thought they still had. >> How far is game bridge? Lucas Oil. >> Yeah, >> 20,000 people. >> There's a very different.
>> 20 minutes. >> I understand 20,000 people. Joe Bros. could have done. >> Joe Bros. at 10 years ago would have. been playing [ __ ] Lucas Oil. >> You know who just did Lucas Oil here? >> Who? >> Todd was there. >> Yeah, Ed Sheeran. Now, that made a mover. in as the. >> Who opened? >> No one. And it was [ __ ] sick. >> You're saying he just came out and said, "There's the time before where somebody. else.". >> They did like a local thing where like. some local guitarist, no one saw the. opener. I mean, maybe some people did, but we got in there at like 8:00, sat. down, got a couple pops, and he came on.
the stage within 5 minutes. It was. unbelievable. >> Is he doing round stage or a big end. stage? >> Both. So, he had the big one, and then. they had like a um like a firetruck. ladder that went out to the one in like. the middle. Yeah, Ed Sheeran is. >> Is he doing some looping out there? >> The whole thing was looping. >> Yeah, he can. He doesn't need. >> He can spin it actually. >> That [ __ ] guy can spin it. >> Yes, he can. >> Yeah, >> you should have seen when I was at a a. wedding he was at. >> Yeah, >> he looks so cool. He had his blue tux. >> just like a spotlight walking through.
the entire place. Hey, you know, it was. like good to see you, dude. Holy [ __ ]. Ed Sheeran just walked by. >> Yeah. Bangers. >> He didn't perform her. I was kind of. bummed out. >> He was called upon, wasn't he? >> I don't know. I don't know. Were you. told that? >> Uh, I don't think so. >> Yeah. Who? Yeah. Well, who told you? That's crazy. >> I think that New Heights maybe. >> No, that was definitely new heights. >> I think that would have happened. >> Jason might have been talking about it. >> No, no, no. Let's get out of here. Okay, we covered everything. >> Yeah. >> WNBA. They still playing down there with.
>> season's over. Congratulations. >> No, it's not. >> They moved it to a bigger place, right? >> Did they? I know they're working on it. >> I heard they made it. I heard they. figured it out. >> We got to work on it. We got to figure. it out. I agree. >> Can't be playing at Mercedes 500 people. I mean, Georgia Tech, they got, right? Figure that out. >> Yeah, Georgia Tech should have an arena. I I think Atlanta has a lot of different. venues down there. There's a lot of. different venues down there. You think. you could put some uh bleachers in or. seats in to make it bigger. I guess. they're currently um locked in to play.
at the place they play all their regular. season games at. Oh. >> Which is uh 3500 seat venue. No, they. play at State Farm and they're playing. the whole uh schedule next year at State. Farm. >> Next year, I believe. >> But I do believe they have been at this. place that they're playing at now, right? >> Pre- Angel Reese brother. >> Oh, so Angel got traded there this year, right? >> Yeah, this is our first year in Atlanta. >> And they are in the finals now. >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> She averaged 20 last round. >> DPOY, right? >> DPOI as well. >> Angel.
>> Yeah. >> Congratulations. >> Back to the final. I like that she's. playing against the uh. >> Golden State Valkyries. >> Brand new team. >> Yep. Only been So, they're being bought. with now their arena, their their. atmosphere. And uh a lot of 49ers. players, some other I think Steph Curry. was in there like that that rockish. environment. >> Yeah. I remember opening night, remember. there was the pass that looked like a. shot into the layup to win, steal the. dub at home. I think that was their home. opener. >> Arena went bananas. It looked like a. fever arena the way that opening night.
looked and I think they carried that. through the whole season. >> They led the league I believe in the. tennis like 18,000 a game. >> Unbelievable. Good start to a new. franchise. They won a couple more too, right? Cleveland and Detroit. Was that. the. >> Cleveland's coming already? Yeah. >> Cleveland and Detroit. And this is all. because of Angelbert's work and. everybody is trying to run her out. >> No, she retired. >> Yeah, she got ran out. She threw in the. white flag. >> No, this was a She's still handing out. the trophy at the end of the season. here.
>> She is. >> as she should. That should be her final. >> She got the biggest CBA deal in the. history of women's sports. She got that. I think she should say job well done. Now managing after getting that deal. done. >> Somebody else that's going to be. somebody else's job to come in. Somebody's going to do that. But I think. Angelbert should get a lot of uh praise. for the amount of billions of dollars. she was able to negotiate into the WNBA. I think now on that note, everybody in. that league seemingly did not like her. as the.
>> That's true. But she should enjoy the. fruits of her labor. >> Hand out that trophy. >> Exactly. >> 20. >> Rousing ovation. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> Unless this 3500 seat arena. I don't. know how you let that happen in the. finals. >> I don't like it. >> Anglestone. >> They've changed it. >> Have they? >> Yeah. They're playing at State Farm. It's. >> been. folks up out of here. >> There was a couple concerts. It was a. couple concerts and uh Mike Vorcanov is. reporting that the Atlanta Dream will. play games three and four at the WNBA.
finals at State Farm Arena. Game three. has been moved up a day to October 21st. I like this adjusting audibling. Game. three will stay on October 24th, but. moved up to 100 p.m. from 3:30. Got an. event at night. Concert, we can probably. get this thing in. Maybe a game we can. get this in at night. The Atlanta Hawks. will move back to home open by half hour. to 8:30 on October 25th. There we go. Perfect. Read through the rest of the. tweet pad. It's right there. >> Sorry, just had to. So, they're making. it work. I like that. We kind of knew. >> [ __ ] was gonna do that, right? >> Yeah. >> Didn't we kind of expect that to happen. down there in Atlanta?
>> We'd love to have Angel in here. >> Mhm. >> A finals. We dream to have finals in. here. Can we move it a day? >> Can we move it a day? We can move it. today. >> What's the commissioner's name? I'm now. >> Kathy. >> Kathy Anglestone. >> You know that's not right. I'm I'm kind. of I'm kind of mindfucked at this point. >> It's Kathy Angelbert. She's a friend of. the program. >> Yeah. >> Yes. Okay. >> Whenever we did. >> Who's taking over? >> I don't know. That has not been.
announced. I I do know that soccer Dave. has. >> Soccer Don Garber. Soccer's Don Garber. Yeah. >> What? >> Soccer Don Garber's cooked. >> I like Soccer Dave more. >> Dave, that's who's taking over. >> I I hope he does. >> Soccer Dave Garber. >> Soccer Dave on Instagram. I follow him. This guy's an incredible soccer player. Great app. I actually owe him a uh. gameworn jersey from conca from three. years ago. >> Soccer Dave. >> Yeah, I owe Soccer Dave. I do. Soccer.
Dave. I think when you and I were. talking about that agreement, we both. thought and and had an understanding. that I was going to have a lot more. jerseys than I actually had. >> I only had one of those things each. year. >> And you framed it and put in your house. >> That's right. But soccer Dave should be. running the MLS. I would trust him. I. would definitely trust. Is it Rooney. taking over? >> What about Lou. >> Messi? >> Yeah. >> Why did he just run the league? >> You know, >> he's running into Miami once he retires. >> Bigger fish. >> So, is Beckham running the MLS then? >> No, it's the guy who used to own LFC, I.
believe, is taking over for the soccer. Don Garber. >> I like the LA. I don't even know the. LAFC. >> Tav Svin LFC like grab an eighth grader. from any school in America. >> Middle school. Middle school in America. Not even a European middle schooler that. maybe. It's like grab an eighth grader. cuz no one gives a [ __ ] about the MLS. Like let this kid do whatever the hell. he wants. Maybe it'll end up being. better. >> Lou Messi is moving tickets across the. country. >> You think Lou Messi is signing up to run. the MLS? >> No, but I'm saying you're talking about. the MLS in a way as if they don't.
>> He loves the game. >> They're moving tickets. >> He doesn't love the MLS game. He loves. what he does on an MLS pitch, >> which is. >> cuz he's talking dominate these kids. like they are eighth grade. >> Does he have a percentage. >> in the team? Oh, actually, he might have. a league, too. He's going to liquidate. that as soon as he can. >> No, he's not. >> No, he's getting out. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Soccer Dave is going to get in there and. take the MLS to a whole new heights. Remember, they moved the schedule. >> Yeah, it's a great idea. It's a great. idea. >> First, >> how many people do you think are going. to show up to a Chicago Fire game in m.
the middle of January when there's 17. inches of snow on the ground in Chicago. and it's like 30 below zero with. windchill. >> When was the last baseball lockout? >> Uh 90 what? 95 92 something like that. >> First spring in 30 years where there's. literally no other competition. Then the. MLS the year before decides we're going. to get out of the spring actually. We're. going to go play when everything else is. played. Just horrendous timing for that.
to happen. But they said a necessity if. we want to be respected worldwide, which. is what we're aiming to do. Ty, >> that's fine. I'm not going to watch it. I I try. >> Also, next season is a sprint season. because of the sprint. So, in 2027, they're doing a sprint season. It's only. 14 games. >> Um, >> yeah. >> And guess what? You're gonna have a lot. of cancellations if you try to do any. more than that. So, >> the MLS generates approximately 2.5. billion in total annual revenue, averaging roughly 83 million per club. across its 30 franchises. Leaguewide.
total 2 and a half. Average club revenue. 83. Okay. A lot of repeating stat key. revenue, drivers, gate receipts, and. ticket sales. >> Sure. See, local and national. sponsorships, merchandise, people buying. jerseys, and the league's meteorites. partnership with Apple TV. Individual. club revenues vary significantly across. the league significantly heavily boosted. by star power like Lou Messi. Inner. Miami might be the only clip that I see. from MLS every single week. Cav Sullivan. had a two-e run there where he was doing. some [ __ ] for you.
>> and I like that that was happening. don't like that the immediate move for. Kevin Sullivan whenever he was a great. 14-year-old was as soon as this kid's. allowed to sign papers get out of. America we need to get him the [ __ ] out. of here because now he's playing as a. teenager in the MLS he's electrifying so. I guess getting him overseas is best for. all parties good luck to the MLS we will. certainly follow along. >> Bobby Bo yeah. >> I don't know I gave up. >> on all of soccer or just MLS. >> uh I mean for sure the MLS all soccer. though I I just.
>> we kind of quit on Holland when He cut. his hair. >> Had to. >> Well, >> he's going to be playing in division. five soon, so he better enjoy it while. he can. >> They're going to have to liquidate him, huh? >> I mean, what's going on in the Premier. League is disgusting. They're they're. top of the table. They've been found. guilty of 115 charges of cheating and. they're celebrating like it's them. against the world where you're going to. get kicked out of the league. >> But they're not kicked out of the. league. No. >> No. So, it's just pointless games. It. makes no sense. >> I like that kind of. >> Me, too. I I'm almost born for the team.
that is a lame duck out there. >> Openly cheating and throwing it in. everyone's faces and kind of doing a wo. is me. >> And if we win, it's going to get taken. back from us. So, nobody wins. >> Mhm. >> Oh, I love that. >> It's a disgrace. >> Wow. Man City might be the team that. >> I might be back. >> We go see him play Preston in division. four next year. >> That's next year. We're talking about. right now. Man City, every one of these. wins is going to be cancelled. So, nobody wins. All they're doing is taking. a win away from the Premier League. Is. that accurate? They're going to take all.
this [ __ ] back probably. >> Yeah, they're appealing right now. >> What about goals though? Like. >> don't count. None of it's going to. count. >> And why would Hollon even play? >> That's what I'm saying. They're they're. acting like any of this matters. Like. it's it's insane what's happening. >> So every win is going to get revoked. Any championship they win is going to. get recused or whatever. I don't know if. that's the right word, but taken back. >> Vacated. >> There it is. Vacated. >> Oh. And then they'd just be Liverpool. You see? >> Oh. >> On a shitty red card given by a ref from. Manchester. I mean, it's a disgrace. Supposed to be the best league in the.
world. I'm disgusted. >> Oh, so this is probably happening. because Man City fans probably started. chirping a little never walk alone lad. in the back there, if I had to guess. >> Man City is a plastic club. Always have. been. Bought by money, bought by cheats. There's no pride with that club. They. don't belong in the Premier League. But. the Liverpool legends, Chelsea legends, Manchester United legends, even. Tottenham, a legendary club. They've all. been robbed Arsenal by what they've. done. And it's disgusting. I will stand. for it.
>> All right. Thank you. I'll be at the. state of soccer. >> Soccer fans watch the MOS. >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> 2.5 international fans. >> Oh, classical. >> Any international fans tuned into the. MLS? >> Bobby Boa late night running the pitch. Yeah. Messi's games are global. That's. why it was on Apple. >> Yeah, of course. Messi's games. Yes. I'm. just saying in general like are there. soccer fans? No. Over in Europe that are. watching others. Leowski is playing for. Chicago. >> Messi is the MLS. You remove Messi. This.
is a [ __ ] you know, I'll go down to. the rec center on Saturday and it's. basically the same thing. >> There's a reason it's that it. significantly varies when it comes to. income because it's Messi, then Inter. Miami, who probably makes less than. Messi, and then there's 20 feet of [ __ ]. and then there's all these other teams, and. >> like the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. >> Well, they're not in the MLS. If they. were, they would be up there. Remember, they're in the poop. They're in the. championship of the MLS, which is just.
>> piss poor soccer, but still soccer. nonetheless. >> Riverhounds have a footprint in Ireland. >> Yes, they do. >> And in Pittsburgh. >> Yeah. A footprint. >> Lot of footprints these days all over. the place. Even in trails that are being. blazed, they say, "Be a friend. Tell. your friends something nice. It might. change your life. We're in this thing. together.". >> What a Tuesday. >> What a Tuesday. Still footprints on the. moon, right, Ty? >> Oh, Jesus Christ. Here we go again. >> I'm not even gonna I'm not gonna answer. that. Go [ __ ] yourself, AJ.
>> Soccer into the moon. That would have. been a real one two for Ty. >> Mhm. >> Savannah bananas before that. >> Oh, yeah. Not going to let it ruin your. Tuesday. >> Not a chance. >> Jeez. >> I think what AJ was saying though is. that there's no way. >> I know what he was saying. >> Neil Armstrong from Papa, Ohio. We were. there. Neil was there. Trust me. Yeah, I. don't know why you trying to [ __ ]. [ __ ] all over his accomplishments every. time you get the opportunity. That's an. interesting way to treat your statesman,
but you know, >> just asking questions. Just asking. questions. >> I talked to a guy on the sideline at the. Texas game and he told me his company. had been to the moon 12 times. >> Boom. >> Wow. >> And I said, "Your company, your people,". and he said, "We'll talk about it. someday." And then he gave me a card. >> [ __ ] Elon Musk. >> No, not Elon. Which is why I was so. impressed and surprised. That card is. gone. I have no idea where that guy's. card is. He came up to me though very. confident that he his company's been to. the moon 11 and 12 times. >> He'll find you.
>> Oil man. >> What are they doing up there? >> I don't know. And do we know when they. go? Like I know we just went, right? Didn't we just go? >> Yeah, very recently. >> Did we? >> We didn't walk on. >> slingshot. Just took a couple pictures. Just making sure everything making sure. that the flag that we planted is still. there. Yep, it is. Okay. I see [ __ ]. Neil's footprints. I see. Okay. Yep. We're good. [ __ ] head back home. >> You need a driveby. >> Yeah, exactly. >> A couple of flyby. >> Yeah. Watch out for that [ __ ] golf. ball that he hit. That thing's still.
[ __ ] Yep. >> What about all the space junk? They say. it's up there. How how do we avoid that. while we're doing uh. >> That's all telemetry. All telemetry. They they got their systems. They're. making sure, you know, and the slingshot. maneuver obviously is making sure we. don't run into any of that space junk. But wouldn't the slingshot maneuver. potentially slingshot us into the space. chunk that we can't really calculate. because it's kind of just floating out. there at a billion miles hour. >> We're tracking it all. >> because we're kind of on the outer outer. banks of that gravity, if you will. So, we don't have to worry about that. It. kind of just it's it's it almost flies.
around it like one of Saturn's rings, if. you will. >> So, in 1969, we knew that. >> Yep. You ever seen Hidden Figures? >> Boom. >> I have seen Hidden Figures. Do they talk. about the space junk? Because I think. that's a big part. >> That's a big sticking point. >> Is it? >> Yeah. >> Avoid the space junk. >> A lot less space junk in the in the 60s, too. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. But still a lot of space have been. around a long time by then. >> Yeah. >> It's pretty big, though.
