As not in a dome, but. certainly a little breezy morning as uh. this beautiful city plays host to our. second Monday night football game as the. New York Giants under John Harbaugh's. leadership look to be a grand and pound. squad. And then the Los Angeles Rams who.

went down to Australia. They went down. under and got pounded into the ground by. the San Francisco 49ers who didn't look. tired at all coming back from Australia. They actually look like they might be. the best team in all of ball. The Giants. obviously a run game. The Rams have. Aaron Donald potentially back. I don't. think that has been official yet, but. all indicators are that one of the. greatest players in the history of. football will be making his debut after. a 2-year hiatus this evening in this.

beautiful stadium. So, Ball is. fantastic. Monday Night Football's. matchup is marquee. The Sunday slate had. some interesting storylines begin to. develop. Some of these teams that we. thought were absolute shite and maybe in. the dumpster for the rest of their lives. might not be asked. talking about you, the Browns. Hey, >> way to go, Brownies. >> Way to go, Brownie. >> I don't think anybody expected that for. Cleveland, especially after a two-hour. delay down there in Tampa Bay, sitting. in the visitors locker room. And all.

Tampa Bay has to do is a quick red zone. 2-minute drill to potentially win this. game and send Cleveland back home. drenched, delayed, and with another L. Instead, Deshawn Watson gets his first. win in like 600 and some days or so. Good for him. Good for the Browns. for them. We expect them to probably. come out and start 2 and 0. A lot of. people expected Herbert to be in MVP. conversations again, but it looks. absolutely terrible. I'm shocked. I'm. shocked. I thought Mike McDaniel was. going to be a great addition for this. team. I thought the defense was going to. show up and be better with the players. that they have out there, and they look. bad. Obviously, on the flip side that. the Raiders look good off to a two and0. start over there in the AFC West. >> Yeah, congratulations to the Raiders. Love what they're doing in Cooking. Love. that Max Crosby gets like a send home. safety to win this entire thing. Kirk. Cousins had some interesting decisions,

but certainly had a bunch of tuds to Mr. White here who does the soo celebration. That's his second touchdown of the day. We certainly knew he was going to do. that. Two plus tuds for Cody White. parlay yesterday. Probably would have. paid you in a massive way. But congrats. to the Raiders. And it stinks for the. Chargers. They own the worst cover. margin, minus 39. >> of any team favored in each of their. first two games since the 2003 Eagles. 23 years ago, a team was favored in the. first two games and got their absolute. asses kicked. The last time uh Jim.

Harbaugh was 0 and2 was like 2002 or. something. He was a backup quarterback. for the Chargers I I or 200 something. I. I forget the year. Yeah, the year 2000. that at all cuz we still have faith. But. maybe there is a little bit of a. learning curve in him playing free in. this new system. I'm not giving up on. the Chargers just yet, but there are. certainly some dire reasons to talk. about them being ass. And then let's. talk about a team that look like ass. McCarthy, the Yinszer, obviously has a. start now where everybody's wondering. what the hell are they going to be able. to do with this team? Tone, have you. given up completely with the Pittsburgh. Steelers after what you saw yesterday. against the New England Patriots or you. understanding that this is new coach, new era, new schemes, new everything? It. might take a little bit to kind of build. or has the patience already worn thin.

But other. than that, the defense looks pretty. good. The offense though, I believe, uh, so far, 59th and 61st ranked games out. of 62 the offense has been on EPA per.

They stink. through and through. Defense looks okay, but offense is piss poor. They can't. protect Jordan Love. They have no run. game, so we'll see. Uh, luckily they got. by and the Jets are much better, I. think, than people give them credit for, but in my head, the Jets are still the. Jets. You're supposed to go into Metife.

You're supposed to beat the [ __ ] out of. them. But really, all that matters is. they're not one of these teams that's. staring down 0 and2 on overreaction. Monday. Number five, and it's been alluded to a. couple times here about teams not having. to stare down the 0 and2 record, but how. about the OH NO AND TWO RECORD. WELL,

you go all the way back since the AFL. NFL merger, which is 1970. Out of over. 430 teams to start, only 46 of them have. made the postseason. You go through the. modern era, 2002 to 2025, out of 200. teams that started owning two, only 24. qualified. That's 12%. Not great. You. know, that's a that's a lot higher. number making it than that is actually. making it. And now that we have the. expanded playoff era where more teams. make the playoffs and there's one more. game to get back on track. 16% of teams.

go on to make the playoffs after. starting 0 and2. So that leads me to ask. this question to you, Mr. AJ Hawk. Yeah. >> Are they 0 and2? because we find out. that they're absolutely ass or are they. 0 and2 cuz they just haven't figured out. how they're supposed to be a team. I. guess that would be a question. Me and. Debbut were on a team in 2014 that. started 0 and2 then we inevitably end up. making it to the playoffs. So, it's. certainly possible. And 16%'s a lot more. than 0%. So, I'm not giving up hope on. anybody. But, do we think teams are ass.

Commanders, now we see what happened. with Daniels. The Texans, that one. surprises me a bit. Like if I had to. pick one or two teams from this list to. actually make the playoffs. I don't know. what you guys would think, but I I can't. see the Texans missing. And the.

Chargers, I don't know what they are to. be honest with you, but I feel like the. Texans I feel I don't know. Actually, I'm not sure I feel very confident in. any of these teams making it. Well, well, we just did the Chiefs overtime. last night in Arrowhead. Okay, so let's. not get too crazy talking about the. Indianapolis Colts. I do I do not like. some of the decisions that are being. made, okay? Like it's overtime and we're. leaving time on the clock for a guy. who's known. >> to to win games. I mean, that's they. change rules, right, because of it, I. think, because of what he's able to do, especially at home on prime time. So, I.

hate that we won for the tie there, but. I think the Colts last night showed me. that maybe they're on the road to. figuring it out and not being completely. ass and being a part of the bigger. statistic of not making the playoffs. I. enjoyed watching the Colts last night. I. enjoyed watching Jonathan Taylor ball. out. Daniel Jones, Tyler Warren, Josh. Dons, Alec Pierce. Now, maybe he came. back a little bit too early on that heel. and maybe he isn't just a bad walker. Maybe that thing wasn't 100% yet and he. was pushing it a little bit early. expected some struggle. We expected. probably uh somewhat of a rebuild year. Washington, we thought Jay will be back. Him getting injured, that sucks. Baker, he made all that fuss about getting his. money. They come out 0 and2 absolutely. stink. Very surprised about the Texans. But back to the Colts, like when you go, like you said, you are encouraged. You. go to the Chief's house and you push. them all the way to the wire, which I. feel like we play the Chiefs toughs. tough year in and year out. But to get. to that point in overtime where you get. that chunk play from Treadwell and then. you basically say, you know what, we're. gonna take the field goal and give it.

back to 15. I don't understand that. I. know Shane talked about it after the. game and yeah, it is a tough ass league. or hard ass league, whatever Shane said. But when you have an opportunity to go. for the juggler to end the game, to win. it in overtime, you made the choice to. kick it, which I like that decision. You. get the ball back, >> get down there, and then you just take. the foot off the gas and take a field. goal. like I didn't understand that you. have to take this opportunity all empty. empty the clip at this point and try to. get this one win to go one and one. instead of being 0 and2 but yeah the. season's not over done like you said in.

opposite side of the coin here for uh. number five headline two and yeah, teams, okay, like the lads here who've. obviously started incredibly hot. Good. for them. Philadelphia Eagles. I a lot. of people dawn on the Philadelphia. Eagles cuz what they and how they had to. do it against the Titans. I think you. jot that one down as we went in there. Oh yeah. Afternoon game, brought our own. juice, we win against bad team. Let's. move on. That that just feels like what. the Eagles have been. You know, it's. just like the Chiefs with the stat. that's come out about them, you know, uh. being able to obviously hit for you if.

you're on the money line, but very. rarely do the Chiefs ever cover because. in your brain they're a lot better than. they actually end up killing teams. It. feels like the Eagles are the same.
