now football he amazing okay in college. ball there's about a thousand different. story lines and every single game is. electrifying somehow and in the NFL we. only have one and I can't stress this. enough we only have one undefeated team. left and who is it oh it's a team that. actually he playing like crop yeah it's. a team that has never really been. satisfied yet with one of their dubs. it's a team whose quarterback has. actually thrown more interceptions than. touchdowns it's a team that has a goat.

is one of the most popular tight ends of. all time who has no touchdowns it's a. team who's the backto back Super Bowl. champions looking to do something that. no NFL team has ever done before win. three straight it's the Kansas City. Chiefs still undefeated the Chiefs is. still the Chiefs which is obviously. fantastic there's uh some stuff coming. out of Cleveland sucks to be a Browns. fan I just can't even fathom having to. talk to people that are fans of other. teams and acting like you're a fan of. the Browns and feeling good about it. yeah there there's really none of that. happening and up in Detroit they're.

Brewing Sunday Night Football wow a big. decision was made by a head coach now. obviously when you think about the New. York Jets and the Devonte Adams trade. you think to yourself well this going to. be the best Aaron Rogers offense that. maybe we've seen all season for this New. York Jets team this is going to be the. Jets team that kind of propels. themselves into the next chapter the. next era of what was supposed to be for. the New York Jets franchise it's on. prime time it's in Pittsburgh your. favorite going against quarterback that. hasn't played since uh long time.

Longo but instead the story became Mike. tomlin's doing it again Mike Tomlin the. head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers he. told Jay Glazer in a 101 phone call on. Saturday night that he went Lone Ranger. and decided to bench Justin Fields who. has led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a. winning record and has a qbr of like. 95.8 or something like that which we. don't know what that number is but we do. know if it's 95 point something it's. good news but Mike Tomlin told Jay. Glazer he want Lone Ranger there's. people in that facility a lot of people. in that facility that didn't want to.

change the quarterback we're winning. ball what are we going to do we're going. to piss off the football Gods we're. actually winning games doing his thing. we got quarterback of the future maybe. in Justin fields and we know Russell. Wilson hasn't been able to take any. snaps training camp preseason or regular. season because he has that calf strain. because he was driving sleds right. before training camp started but Mike. Tomlin said going into this year I felt. that we had two quarterbacks that play. good football for us there was one of. them that was in Pole Position going. into the offseason workouts into. training camp and everything it was. Russell Wilson and I haven't even got an. opportunity to see how this guy play I.

want Lone Ranger and I decided to put. him in and bench Justin Fields Justin. Fields came out and said you know I got. to play better so is even conversation a. lot of teammates were back in Justin. Fields heard a lot of the wide receivers. even back in Justin Fields saying we. love this guy so what was Russell Wilson. going to look like as the starting. quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers. well when he came out of the tunnel it. look cool yeah very cool same belly. fireworks going off in the sky obviously. some fans also split on the decision are. they a Justin Fields team are they a. Russell Wilson team are they Mr. unlimited well oh.

Wilson and then the first half it didn't. all look great no but then in the second. half became a production and points. party that the Pittsburgh Steelers fans. have been yearning for for year and Russ. rinott the rust Russell Wilson won 16 to. 29 for 264 pass yards two pass. touchdowns Rush TD most pass yards by a. player in their first game with the.

Steelers in franchise history Hoy H. they've been playing football in. Pittsburgh a long time remember Mike. tomman said a lot of people told me not. to do this bang historic start for. firings there's been a lot of new. players and now in his debut Russell. Wilson made that Pittsburgh Steelers. offense look like it could maybe go and. then the defense is obviously always. going to play Shout out to beanie Bishop. West Virginia leg had a b a couple big. picks that first one right before half. obviously going to be talked about might. make an appearance on everything DB good. D bad D which would be fantastic and. Aaron Rogers throughout his career. historically legendarily great in not. turning the ball over this season a. little bit different we don't know if. they're ever going to be a able to kind. of kick out of that but beanie Bishop.

made some massive plays for this. Pittsburgh Steelers defense and then the. second one off Gary Wilson's chest hey. give me that H Bo right into beanie. Bishop's hands and then beanie gets. another one so the Pittsburgh Steelers. defense always going to be good Patrick. Queen there on that offensive lineman. test results came back negative I. believe he was okay there was a couple. uh commercial breaks through that entire. thing but the Pittsburgh Steelers get a. big gwin Arty Smith's offense seems to. go George Pickins mosson people let's go. to one half of the hammer Cowboys are. the Pitts was going to win the Super.

George Pickins like George Pickins he. gave him shots on 50-50 balls which. George Pickins is unbelievable that and.

then once that happened like the. floodgates kind of open it was like okay. you give George a chance to make plays. he's going to make plays you give Pat. fouth a chance to make plays he's going. to make plays and then you start hitting. balls down the field guess what you. don't have 9 10 11 people in the Box. daring you to throw it down the field. because they know you won't then NJ gets. going Jaylen Warren Gets going Arty. NFL that cannot put both of his hands up. in the air to signify by a field goal is.

good so when I saw him whenever they. came and played at the loud housee Chris. Boswell obviously goes hey ask Danny uh. ask Danny to make a good field goal sign. so I go coach hey field goal's good what. are we doing and he goes oh [ __ ] you and. I go I didn't even know I didn't even. know what happened obviously and he goes. I can't lift my arm so it's right here. it's right here so whenever the boys get. a big block or a big return or have. something good happen they don't want to. celebrate Danny Danny yinz are Legend. okay from Pittsburgh has coached for the. Steelers for a long time been around the. NFL obviously coach at other places.

Steelers uniform looked awesome I assume. those would sell yeah immensely. everywhere uh but that team looks to be. buzzing it's good whenever Pittsburgh. has a team like that cuz you guys. haven't enjoyed like haven't enjoyed. watching offensive football steers in a. long time no it was unbel like things.

were like just plays that I haven't seen. in years in the Playbook were there and. just just plays that normal teams have. high school teams have colleges have. like it was it was just great to see and. I can't wait to keep going okay well. good luck to the Pittsburgh Steelers as. they seemingly have figured it out and. once again to all you yingers who are. celebrating right now and uh this could. be a couple family members of mine too. Tomlin decided yeah okay in the middle. of the Season hats off after having a. winning record and a lot of people in.

his face saying we aren't we don't want. to do that saying nah we need and he. said I'm in this to win championships. we're not in this to hell yeah like Hey. we're not in this and he knows what the. noise is about him the noise around him. is this guy's never had or coached a. losing season and for the rest of the. NFL that sounds good because a lot of us. have seen horrible coaches at different. places so you think to yourself the. grass isn't always greener you got a guy. that has a winning season you should be. happy about it Pittsburgh fans aren't. they're done with it m we're tired of. having a winning season okay that is.

okay so we don't even get a good draft. pick okay so we don't get to go to the. playoffs and even if we were to make it. to playoffs we don't have a team that. could compete but we don't have a team. and also because we're good you know but. not great we get a [ __ ] pick every time. so we're picking 20 to 24 or 16 to 30 go. ahead and look up what the uh. percentages are for hitting on a guy at. that particular time versus maybe top 10. top eight top seven which a team that. would think so tommen was kind of. because he was such a good coach The.

rosters that weren't great M that if you. had a [ __ ] coach in there would. potentially Propel you yeah up to he had. like fourth string quarterbacks winning. games like three four straight games in. a row quack quack quack quack shout to. duck Hodges like tomin wins games no. matter what they have now if you have an. actual team you can see why the. Pittsburgh Steelers fans are excited. let's talk about another team that is. obviously excited about what their. team's doing let's go to nine-year NFL. vet host of everything DB good D bad d. darus J. Butler Deb's Commander team seemingly an.

actual Squad they lose their rookie. sensation quarterback early with a rib. which his mom would later go on to tweet. he's fine okay so we will assume he'll. be out there they get Marcus Mariota in. there Oregon's the number one team in. the country right now and Marcus Mariota. steps in for that Commander's offense. and wins them the game in a big way. commanders seem like they're for real I. mean unbelievable performance from. Mariota you know a lot of people. obviously have written him off since his. performances in the previous places he's. been uh but has off to Cliff Kingsbury.

too been calling I know a has been. singing his Praises uh for the last few. weeks but he did he did an amazing job. you lose your Star Quarterback early on. you think okay maybe uh somehow some way. the Panthers get in maybe even somebody. some idiot out there maybe even takes. him at plus 17 and a half live once they. goes down and uh yeah I mean marota just. cooked they they bought Brian Robinson. bought defense bought Panthers. absolutely look uh terrible but hats off. to Marcus Mariota not only on the ground. you would think coming in you think it. play it safe bunch of read options keep.

it safe but he put the ball in the air. uh got everybody on the outside involved. Terry ma still had a big game Zack her. got involved so just shout out to Cliff. Kingsbury and Marcus Mariota commanders. might be a wagon yeah and they're saying. the Panthers need to get relegated some. people some. people some people that played for the. Carolina Panthers it's Monday it's. Barkley and how do you feel about saquan. Ed who we are big fans of his agent. calls and says something they didn't. even make a counter. if what we saw is squ had all the chips.

on his shoulder that he possi needed and. he delivered that tells me a lot about. old saquon comat yeah he's an absolute. dog and we talk about revenge games all. the time and you know of course the. quarterback one you know we referenced. Andy Doan earlier when he played the. Hard Knocks didn't they mention in there. too like we're not going to pay a. quarterback $40 million just so we can. pay a running back $13 million we not. going to do that and the Eagles were. like well we we'll do we'll pay our.

quarterback $50 million and then pay our. running back $13 million like some some. teams it seems just like having good. players which seems to be a pretty good. strategy and the Philadelphia Eagles are. one of those teams and I mean it's. probably one of the best free agent. sightings in this entire offseason. saquin had six has six 30 plus yard runs. this season three of them came yesterday. no other player in the NFL has more than. three no other team in the NFL has more. than five damn okay so he has the most. amount of explosive cuz I think explosiv. is like 20 plus yards this is 30 plus.

yards so this is tacked on top of that. entire thing uh he had 147 rushing yards. before contact Jaylen Herz back-to-back. games without a turnover for the first. time since December of. 2022 okay Jaylen Eagles are the only. team this season to go back-to-back. games without allowing a touchdown on. defense as well so obviously saquon's. going to steal the conversation because. he's going back to MetLife doing. something he's never done at MetLife and. then dominating that game Jaylen does. his thing as well but on defensive side.

they seemingly got to figure it out as. well were a lot of people betting Eagles. or were they one of the ones yes it was. they were let me find it here. 80 80% damn and they cover right yeah. yeah was another another pretty good. week for us seven uh 60% or more sorry. let me do this again when the public was. on 60% or more of the bets they were s-2. this week against the spread undefeated. last week and then 7-2 the week before a. three week stretch that is just. unbelievable yeah y we are bringing the.

and go damn he's good Jared Goff has a. 83.5% completion percentage in his last. four games an NFL record for the highest. completion percentage of any four game. Span in NFL history golf breaks the. record set by Jaden Daniels earlier this. season at 82.1% GF was 12 of 12 in the. first half his third perfect half this. season he's the only quarterback with a. perfect completion percentage and a half. this season and he done so three times. also both halves a week four minimum. five attempts must hey no punters coming. in here kickers or you know wide.

last three games lions are the only. offensive line in the league to rank in. the top five in pass Pro and run block. win rate okay they've been on aush top. five o lines all year qbr versus the. Vikings Blitz this season here we go now. we start talking about the Vikings. potentially from here good battle we. lose faith we shall see Jared G firstus. mentioned when you're playing a team in. an offense that everybody's involved the. tight ends the running backs the. receivers uh the Run game the offensive. line you got to be aware of who's who's. checking in eligible that's just so many. different things that the defense has to. go through so when you play a Brian. Flores defense especially or even any. type of attacking style defense it's. very very important important that you. stay out of those you know third and 12s. or second and 17s and the the Lions do. an incredible job of doing that also. season long yeah the Vikings got those. amibas you know those dogs that are.

Browns aren't going to go into the. offseason and go place a high priority. on drafting a quarterback as high as POS. of course they are so Le let's assume. that they can turn their first round. draft pick into a quarterback well now. theyve got a first round quarterback. we've got a quarterback coming off in. Achilles injury they might have looked. to trade him in the off season I don't. know how doable it would have been. obviously they would have had to pay the. bulk if not all the money. involved um or they would have had to.

compensate a team to try to take on some. portion of that contract a lot of. variables they all go out the window now. that he's ruptured as Achilles so it's a. different Dynamic so he's going to come. back now he's already had two ACL tears. now he's got a ruptured. Achilles he he looked when he played the. burst that he had that made him a. special player in Houston that was not. as evident to other teams when you had. them watch him and assess it like he. just didn't look as explosive and as.

Twitchy as he did when he played in. Houston and now you're coming off in. Achilles uh the strength of his game was. his elusiveness and the athleticism that. he displayed and the moves he made all. that's compromised right now who knows. what's going to happen with this. football future nobody can say that. right now he's got to have the surgery. he's got a rehab he's got to come back. what's the money what's the money I know. that dead Cap's like 100 something. million but if he was to say I don't. want to you know I don't want to come.

got the boys rolling we're going down. there first time football college game. day has ever been there on a Saturday oh. so they don't necessarily count as a. school that has never had college game. day before like Berkeley a cal was like. I think Ruckers and I think Maryland and. I think Virginia potentially there's a. couple others Indiana doesn't. technically count because there was a. Thursday night kickoff to the season. that game day was at okay okay so it was. like a Thursday Prime Time game day to. kick off the season like maybe a week. zero or something like that this the. first time it's ever gone to Bloomington.

and uh I was seeing clips from Big newon. kickoff this past week against Nebraska. these these people have been yearning. for good ball oh yeah MH Indiana has. always been a basketball school. obviously and whenever you're a. basketball school and your basketball. team is the only one that has success. and the football team sucks like badh. obviously you kind of tune out what's. going on on Saturdays in the fall yeah. we certainly take the opportunity to. tailgate we'll do the little five but we. are a basketball school not really a.

football school has been that way since. Bobby knon the boys we winning all. across the country in all of Indiana. which has a Basketball Hall of Fame in. it was like that's our team that's our. team but deep down in their soul these. Indiana people Blue Collar people. hardworking people whenever pton Manning. came here and the Colts started to have. success they were football people love. it and now that Signet has the Indiana. football team playing they are showing. up showing out that school loves ball. that school loves celebrating and that. school loves the attitude that cetti has.

he's an old school guy so all the old. school Bobby Knight basketball fans can. attach themselves to it his offense is. explosive so all the young Indiana fans. can say hey we love watching the way. this team plays in the way he talks. entertaining electrifying authentic that. is everything you possibly could need to. be liked in Indiana Signet has it this. team is rolling and I think Saturday. morning is going to be electrifying I. cannot wait to get down there there's. some other big games in college football. and I can certainly respect that and. we'll chat about all of them and college.

football has been awesome this year but. a story like Indiana becoming this great. this quickly is a beautiful depiction of. the modern era of college ball and iel. played a role as soon as cetti got there. he put a collective together transfer. Portal had a big role because he brought. in so many guys that transformed that. team and that culture and then college. football being great on a campus has. made everybody's lives better down there. it is perfect for college ball to. celebrate what Indiana's doing and I. can't wait to get down there on Saturday.

yesterday's ass beating by the. Jacksonville Jaguars came out and said. we're a soft football team oh no that's. the worst thing you could possibly say. about your team especially for Coach. Mayo defensive Legend in New England. fresh off a bill bellich Leed team he's. coming out saying we're a soft football. team but then Drake may you know the. next chosen one up there had this to say. about his coach saying what he said. about the team coach May is not going to. come in here and say something he hasn't. said Us in the locker room you know I. think you we're not tough he always.

preaches being tough he preached it. today you know being tough is you know. run running the football stopping the. run and uh covering kicks is what he. said so I think he does a great job of. Rel relaying the message to us and the. guys know you know Jon Jones gave you. know speech after the game saying you. know you got to find it you know we got. to find something and uh what we're. doing is not good enough and um you got. a man up okay so that's the quarterback. of the future for the New England. Patriots the way he handling this entire. situation does that make you happy or do. you find any solace in the fact that you.

have the softest football team in the. NFL says your coach oh no there's no. solace in that but when you're looking. at what this year was supposed to be. when we started this is a bridge year. right that's why he brought in too. brassette the only real thing as a. Patriots fan that I was looking for this. year is hey is Drake May going to be a. good football player we can check that. box off cuz he is unbelievable there's. so many things that he does obviously he. can throw the ball down the field which. is awesome and you know he's hitting the. easy ones which is another conversation. that was going into the year can he do.

but even like the should be 3 to four. yard sacks he's turning into you know. two to three yard gains so there's so. many things to be happy about when it. comes to Drake may now when it comes to. rooting for a soft football team it is a. nightmare the Jags actually ran the ball. 17 straight times in the second half on. their way to a touchdown so it is very. difficult to watch now Mayo if you're. you know whole entire thing is having. the team be tough and the team isn't. tough I don't know where that leaves you.

just because isn't that kind of a a. coach's thing to get that toughness. level to a certain point I'm not sure. we've lost a lot of key pieces injuries. happen every year but as a fan base the. way the Patriots fans kind of react to. it like I think they're kind of being. soft as well we didn't come into this. year as a fan base expecting a Super. Bowl maybe some people did I think if. you did that then you're an ass hat that. is clearly not what this year was going. to be so like everyone reacting as if. you know the world's burning and Mayo's.

the worst coach ever and this team is. absolutely terrible team's not great no. but no doubt about that obviously the. Mayo era one and six is they're not off. to a great start but like look at this. thing like zoom out a little okay like. it stinks okay it stinks that we have to. root for a bad team and that we're going. to be in the top five top three possibly. top one draft pick next year in the in. the NFL we might be the worst team in. the NFL and that is brutal but I'll tell. you what we have the one of the youngest.

toughness thing it's despicable I mean. it is brutal and you mentioned it like. we are a fan base that is used to. winning championships and used to at. least having a good defense coming into. this year the whole entire thing was. like Hey the offense is going to be what. it's going to be but our defense is. going to be great defense has had some. key injuries and they've just kind of. Fallen apart and it's brutal defense and. special teams uh you know non normal New. England Patriots stuff give up 41 one to. the Texans last week and then give up 32. to the Jacksonville Jaguars there's a. tweet coming out of Jacksonville um.

Rogers like he can't move like he could. 10 years ago like and he just I don't.

know like last night it was kind of the. same story here's some uh hembo stats. about the Jets Jets ran 29 plays on. second third and fourth down yesterday. on those plays they totaled four rushing. yards on four attempts okay Jets ran 55. plays on offense 31 of them were Aaron. Rogers shotgun dropbacks with no play. action and then hembo would say in. parenthesis he's sitting duckback back. yeah and they certainly been getting to. him they certainly been getting to him. Hassan reck's in the building that.

should help dbut what are your thoughts. on this this Jets team is obviously. going to be talked about no matter what. it's the Jets it's in New York even when. they were complete ass they were talked. about because and if you see the next. Prime Time game lineup it's all New York. teams yeah always always that's kind of. how it's going to be you had Aaron in. there then you have a head coach fired. then you bring in Devonte Adams after. everything it's like going to be talked. are they going to write this ship DB. I hope so for for the sake of the show. number one but. uh you know I I want up beat I want a.

happy Aon and all we know winning. winning kind of cures all so even though. it's all doom and gloom right now two. and five you still got you know those. few games before the by week and it just. takes one win you know you guys know. when you're in that locker room it takes. one win to kind of especially when you. have a talented team if you got a shitty. roster you look around you like all. right this team can't compete and you go. out there and lose a couple it can get. real Doom and Gloom real ugly quickly. but if you got good players you you got. good coaches that you believe in that's. a part of you know the trust thing you. get that one win it can change.

everything so I'm I'm definitely not out. on them yet they definitely have to. protect better you have to have a. consistent Run game and I just saw too. many as chuck would call it sins too. many selfin uh negatives you know the. the the false starts offside just little. stupid things pre-nap that just set you. back in the drive and completely change. uh the outcome of a game but I'm. definitely not out on the Jets I think. they can turn it around joining us now. is a man who loves the New York Jets. loves them ladies and gentlemen the. greatest coach of all time and the. greatest general manager of all time. great at this standpoint you think they. have enough talent to turn it around or. what are you seeing from this Jets. team well I just I just don't understand. the head coaching move that's all but I. mean the Jets are the Jets and you know. you're very close to the New England. Patriots and I think the way that like. Indiana uh University fans view Indiana. basketball is because of what bob Knight. did back in the 70s I think New England. Patriots fans for the rest of their. existence will compare Patriots to how. you operated with the New England. Patriots so to see a kick go back and. then for Coach Mayo to come out and say. we're a soft football team that's almost. like the worst thing you can say. about a team I think if you're. describing the uh football what are your. thoughts on that up there should Conor.

continue to have optimism because Drake. May is showing promise for the future or. what are your thoughts on the Patriots. right. now yeah well I think Drake May has done. some good things um you know in the end. it's we we'll see how it goes when. situations get a little more competitive. and all that but you know defensively uh. the Patriots led a League last year in. rushing defense yards per carry number. one in the league and this year they're. way down in the 20s somewhere um it's a. lot of it's the same guys they resigned. uh Jennings they resigned Tay they.

resigned uh obviously Dugger right um. Marcus Jones and Gonzalez have been. healthy all year which they they were. both on IR at this point last year so uh. you got wise you got godshaw you got um. you know Keon white you got mapu uh you. got Gonzalez three rookies from last. year so it's a lot of the same players. and in some cases I would say more uh so. I don't you know I'm kind of hurt for.

those guys because the call them soft. they're not soft uh they were the best. team in the league last year against the. Run uh those guys did out there went out. there and did it even though we couldn't. score many points offensively so um I. don't know I feel bad for the defensive. players on that one because those guys. uh that that's a tough group I mean John. Jones godshaw wise Jennings those those. are all uch those guys are all tough. players like they'll they'll strap it up. and go duer I mean they're they're tough.

guys getting called Soft is a that is a. huge that is a very slanderous term in. the football world I mean that is real. deal so maybe coach is just trying to. Pivot them into getting go ahead and and. you know Pat I. look you're you're like the best punter. we've ever played against okay so I'm. gonna go on record and say that okay you. were pain in the ass on the kickoffs you. were brutal on the punts the fake pun. and all that but I'll still say I don't. understand why Hunters just want to punt.

the ball straight down the middle. against good returners yeah yeah and. okay it comes back 97 yards but I mean. look you know it's hard it's hard when. you lay it right down the middle like. right down the middle of the field and. you got to cover all 53 and a third. yards and you out kick the coverage and. then you know like that's what's going. to happen. and I told you that Pac-Man like that's. what SAU Brun did he put it right down.

I'm not taking any special teams. coverage unit off the hook even on bad. kicks cuz they're going to happen but I. mean the more of them you lay down the. middle the more you're asking for. trouble the harder it is I mean that's. hard yeah agree it's hard to cover the. whole field when you got the two Gunners. the only guys that can leave and you got. everybody else bottled up in there and I. mean it's just it's hard yeah hey. baringer fig figure figure it out. pal you can tell though the the teams. that are really stressing on it though. you know cuz their punter is normally.

better at it than like Baron young right. I think his second year this guy second. year so maybe they're not as Haren on it. but it's like you hit one of those in. the alley in between numbers and hash. marks and you get it taken back on you. like I have I mean that's an immediate. next day like hey that [ __ ] can't happen. like if you want to be a good punter in. this league that [ __ ] cannot happen it's. real the NFL is too damn good defense is. special teams up there in New England. going to be judged forever because of. the way you kind of treated it and. they're in the middle of that right now.

especially when you lose to the Jags see. Yik thugg Peterson. happy kinda well I mean look the Jags. haven't been able to run the ball all. year but you know they they did a good. job yesterday and that really helped. them out especially in the fourth. quarter when they you know were milking. the clock and you know kind of drove it. down the field so um you know what I. think if they commit to the running game. and get their running game going that. that would help Trevor Lawrence. tremendously so going have to go back. there 45 times every game like give him.

a chance to run call some runs good luck. Jags pulling for you you too Trevor go. ahead AJ coach uh getting back to the. Jets quick I know after the game Aaron. Rogers said something about the energy. being flat in pregame it just felt weird. and it wasn't there I'm just wondering. as a coach like have you ever had to. like you know come out to pregame or in. the locker room it feels different and. you have to do something drastic to. maybe snap him out of it I know I've had. coach which is where all of a sudden we. got full go scrimmage going on and. warm-ups now oneson ones to try to wake. us up but can you do anything like.

that uh I tried that out the pro bow one. time oh no uh you know what I think. sometimes you get that feel in a locker. room and and you kind of go to you know. some of your uh you know your leaders. and say uh you know hey uh how we doing. here today I I don't feel great about. this one but you know what it's hard to. read it really is some guys you know. they're very quiet in a locker room some. teams are quiet in a locker room then. they burst out onto the scene and just. and just explode and and it's nothing. like what's in a locker room I've seen.

other other players in the locker room. hooping and holler and everything go out. there and and you know and and play. terribly so uh I don't think there's in. the NFL I don't think there's too much. to read into pregame warm-ups or the. pregame locker room unless you have a. real good sense for your team and and. maybe there's certain guys who can get. it going but um you know like seal was. was one of those Junior was uh a pretty. pretty emotional guy there not many like. him I would just say there's there's not.

a lot like him and um really nothing. gets it going more than going out there. and playing well that that's what gets. everything going and when your fans get. going like that brings a lot of energy. into the stadium of course you can't get. that on the road but playing well and. playing well early in the game getting. the fans into it uh getting the crowd. into it that definitely that definitely. helps in Vegas you can get it going no. matter what team you are what was your. pregame routine you just spun the [ __ ]. out of that whistle is that what you did. did you listen you listen to music what. was your go-to what was your go-to. before the game well no whistle on Game.

Day Pat that was the practice routine no. whistle on game day can't take a whistle. out there on game day I disagree manang. what was his name uh uh oh Mark mangino. Mark mangino he had a whistle when he. was [ __ ] he had a whistle when he. was showering same thing he had a. whistle when he was on the field and. when he was off the field coach so I. just want to say there are you know kind. of exceptions to the rule just want to. let you know to the rule all right yeah. yeah I never had a whistle one game day. what did you do did you listen to music. before game you watch more film what. what was your did you have a pregame. routine yeah honestly try to watch a.

little bit more film try to go back. through and just you know refresh myself. on what were the main points in the game. what do I want to make sure that you. know because by the end of the week as. you know AJ you know better than anybody. you know you get the game plan and every. play it's like if they do this they do. we watch out for that and if we do this. you got to do this and make this. adjustment if that guy does this and if. this guy does that and it's some point. you just got to bring it back to like. all right what's like what do we have to. do here I can't get caught up in every. little detail and every adjustment and.

and coaches do that we all do it you. give the players 2,000 things to think. about and in the end if you do four. right you'll win and if you do those. four and you can't do those four you'll. lose so let's yeah the details are. important I'm not saying that but you. got to get the big things right well the. detail little things lead to the big. things you see well sure they do yeah. yeah but if you can't T if you can't. tackle if you can't if you can't run the. ball in the C Gap if you can't cover. kicks if you can't Jam the receivers in.

zone cover if you can't do those things. right then I mean the rest of it if you. can't tackle what difference is it you. know you're not going to win yeah and. Coach Parcels was like that ghost. barcels is like that he he would come on. the plane he did this a couple times. honestly it was great I I mean I love. this cuz this was back in you know we. didn't even have computers well I mean. everybody else had them but I didn't. have them I couldn't turn them on it. like you know this is in the 90s or the. Jets or whatever you go you know what. you know all you and all the coaches are. sitting there they got their their.

computers and they got their little. they're typing stuff and everything part. house he walked in on a plane one day. he's like you know what you guys those. stupid computers like that's just a pile. of BS the reason we got beat today is. because we couldn't run the ball and. because we couldn't tackle you could. take all that crap and throw it out the. plane and win it because it doesn't make. a damn bit of difference here's what we. got to do to win why don't you just. forget about all that crap and teach our. players how to tackle and run the ball. and you know what that's that was about.

right about right it's still the same. way too we got a lot more analytics now. we got a lot more analytics you're about. to say that's where it came from no I'm. said I want is that where open field. tackling drills to open up pretty much. every practice came from open field. tackling drills goal line tackling. drills Circle Chase all that remember. tackling drills every day debut every. day tackling drills every day and ball. security every day nothing more. important than tackling and ball. security when would you run that Hill. that's from like all the documentaries.

go do the and I heard you phrase it one. time is store it for later I think is. how you described go to yeah the bank. the hill was the bank the hill was the. bank you go to the hill to make a. deposit you put deposit you put. conditioning in the bank and then when. you need it in the fourth quarter then. it's there for you then you take the. withdrawal out that's when you take it. out but you go to the bank that's when. you put the deposit in you run when. you're tired yes you condition when. you're tired that's how you build your. conditioning past the point of what you. really need so it's always there when.

you need it you know it's in the bank. God I wish I had that mindset for. running cuz I have the mindset of hey. you [ __ ] up go run so now I associate. running with like uh getting punished. pretty much and I'm 37 and I can't break. it I still I go run and I'm like w I. hate this instead when when I heard the. do your job and you said store it or put. it in the bank like my head was like. that's how I that's how I should be. viewing this thing brilliant brilliant. mindset there you know what's amazing. Pat is when when we would have a fumbled.

quarterback Center exchange right and. for every fumbled quarterback Center. exchange the center and a quarterback. after practice would go to the hill the. center would snap the ball to the. quarterback and they both would run up. the hill 20. times okay for each fumbled exchange it. was 20 times up the hill so take the. snap from Center and then run up the. hill and then come back and do it again. and you know what those fumbled. exchanges they went down to zero in.

training camp yeah I could imagine they. went down to zero no matter what. happened we're going to get the. quarterback Center exchange or we. practiced it after practice you know. what I don't know if the hill had. anything to do with it or not but it was. amazing how few practices how few. fumbled snaps we had once the center and. a quarterback ran up the hill after they. sna the ball after practice that trimmed. those down almost to zero I would assume. yeah the attention to detail certainly. goes up when the alternative is 20 I did. not think 20 was coming out there I. thought it was going to be five maybe 10.

for each one that was one each 20 yeah. there was a 20 I I couldn't even imagine. if if I was new there and I uh third. string quarterback trying to make the. team we Bobble one all right go over to. the hill all right you guys are going to. the hill after practice getting over. there how many of these we got. 20. holy sh and then all of a sudden that. goes down to zero yeah and we are we are. catching that ball out of midair if that. thing's bobbling so we don't have to do. that that's just do it just do it right.

but look I don't care if you play high. school college professional football I. don't care what level of football you. play if you can't execute the. quarterback Center snap you you can't. play football it's the most basic play. in football if you can't get that right. then you musle forget it you can't run. any play isn't it amazing you tackle. okay you run the ball and you get the. exchange from the quarterback in the. center you can play football. it's always going to be that way coach. now there's a team winning right now. that I don't think has pieced it really. together yet quarterback playing and.

having stats that we've never seen from. him Ty has a question for you yeah coach. a couple weeks ago you said something to. the effect of sometimes it's almost. better for your team to lose than to you. know play really bad and win because. then you can really emphasize hey this. is what we need to fix going forward. when you look at the Chiefs they just. they haven't been great but they're. undefeated Pat mentioned it momes. statistically at least has had by far. the worst career or the worst year of. his career thus far what what's your. take on them so far and do you think. like if they do put everything together.

and they play their A+ game that they're. damn near. unbeatable well look I don't think. anybody in his League's unbeatable but I. think that um I think they found a way. to win here in spite of the situation uh. that they've been in they had some. receiver issues in this game as did San. Francisco uh you know so they had a. couple guys that were hurt then Juju got. hurt uh you know and they've had issues. at running back I think once they get. everybody back out there they'll be. better offensively but in the mean time.

they find a way to win and I I think if. you look at the end of the game uh where. Patrick's rating is like 44 or whatever. it was he's over there celebrating. high-fiving uh happiest guy on the field. that they won and you win in a kicking. game you win on defense and then you do. enough on offense to win sometimes it. goes the other way around sometimes they. score 45 points and a defense gives up. 42 but you know it's and this he makes. one play right here and honestly with.

everything else it was one of the most. important plays of the game down the. sideline so um you a good team does what. they have to do to win that's what a. good team does and you know could they. play better sure and I'm sure that coach. Reed will be on them today and tomorrow. Wednesday about hey here's the things we. got to improve and if they improve them. they'll be even harder to beat hey spags. very very very successful against. Shanahan uh the stats from hembo I think. it's like 4 and0 let alone all the other. [ __ ] that spags defense has been able to.

do to that ners offense Brock P's only. had like four bad games in like three. years I think the Chiefs have been the. cause of a couple of them what does he. do and what did he do against that. Niners team you. think well you know I haven't seen the. coaches film but going looking at the. Super Bowl uh and we talked about this. this on the inside the NFL they play you. know the Chiefs play about uh little. over 35% manto man which is a pretty. high percentage last year in the Super. Bowl they played almost 67% manto man so.

lot more manto man it's not all blitzing. but it's all manto man and and that. loaded the Box on the early runs and. created some long yarded situations. where SPS play more manto man and more. Blitz on Third and long and it looked. like yesterday they played a lot of. manto man just didn't Blitz as much and. of course they had the lead in the game. you know so maybe that was part of it. too um but the manto man uh was tough on. on San Francisco's running game because. they can't outnumber you uh San. Francisco does a great job of.

outnumbering people into formation by. their motion and their their forming and. so if you're in zone everybody kind of. stays in their Zone and you don't match. the receivers um now playing manto man's. hard because you got to make some. adjustments to their motion and so forth. but if you can get it right they can't. outnumber you on those crack blocks and. those perimeter plays uh and those SE. Gap runs that they're really good at by. having an extra guy over there so uh I. think that was Spa's General philosophy. and then honestly their their defensive. players played good they tackled well uh.

they contained perie and you know pie. you know had some had some you know. tough plays spags a dog yeah oh yeah he. really is love his energy love the way. he coaches and the Chiefs will be one of. those teams we assume are going to be. around debut has a question for you yeah. I know we're pretty much a month by a. month out from Thanksgiving I know. that's when you say that's when the real. football starts that's when teams start. to really separate themselves but kind. of approaching that halfway point in the. season are there any teams that kind of. stand out as like real contenders that. you would say are going to be there in.

the. end well I think the halfway point is a. good time to take a good look at your. team and say okay our records whatever. it is halfway through here uh this week. next week whenever that time comes uh. what do we need to do in the second half. of the season and with the trade. deadline still uh available as an option. a way to improve your team once that. passes then you're you're pretty much uh. you have what you have but um I think if. there's a way to improve your team on a.

Personnel side that's something still. worth looking at and overall from a. schematic side for example Pittsburgh uh. you know going with Russell Wilson yes. last night uh to kind of see what he. what he gives them and what that is. relative to fields and honestly they'll. probably need both guys but um you know. at least coach Tomlin had a good feel. has a good feel now uh and you got to. give Coach Tomlin a lot of credit I mean. that was a you know as you ual he makes. a lot of good moves and and knows his. team extremely well but uh you know now. he he knows what he has with Wilson he. knows what he has with fields and um you.

know that's that's a good thing to have. halfway through the season and have two. guys that you can count on he didn't. know that until last night for sure. about Wilson he knows a lot more now so. um you know I think there are some ways. to to improve your team but when I say. football starts after Thanksgiving I. think that's really uh in terms of you. know how the season is going to end you. look back at last year Dallas had a. great season didn't play well in the. playoff game lost to Green Bay.

Philadelphia they were uh 10 and one. whatever it was uh didn't play well in. December didn't finish well so you can. have a great year and not play well. after Thanksgiving and and really it's. not a good year uh on the other hand you. can just be kind of okay uh like the. Giants were in their two Super Bowl wins. like we were in our Super Bowl win on. Super Bowl 36 but after Thanksgiving. play your best football and still come. out on top so uh that's why I say it's. it's after Thanksgiving or when really.

the game's the important game start as. long as you're not too far out of it uh. but I would say Detroit right now one of. the things I really like about Detroit. is their physicality on both sides of. the ball they're very physical on. offense they're very physical on defense. they got a great offensive line um. they're a strong Team all and I think. that physicality will serve them well. they're in a tough Division and and you. know I always felt like when we were in. the NFC East that the Giants uh getting. through Philadelphia Dallas and and. Washington in those years uh if.

whichever team survived uh you had a. really good chance cuz you you're really. battle tested and and uh there were. multiple years in there you can put San. Francisco in that group too even though. they weren't in the nfcs But whichever. team could survive there for like almost. that Whole Decade those were the that. was the team that was standing at the. end whether it was Washington San. Francisco uh you know the GI. so that's uh I I think it really hardens. you and certainly that NFC North is a. tough division now and and all lions are.

are very physical strong team with a lot. of skill uh if they can keep it going. how about the Lions being one of three. teams mentioned there that could. potentially go love it coach go foxy. coach I have a question for you on any. of your super Super Bowl runs did you. ever lose a marquee player like an Aiden. hutchingson and still win the Super. Bowl well in 19 1990 uh we lost Phil. Sims and Jeff Hostetler came in as a. backup quarterback and we won the Super.

Bowl with Jeff uh and so we we won a. different way Jeff was a different. quarterback than Phil uh and we might. have won with Phil too I don't know but. uh Jeff played it was a different style. of play and I thought coach parcel's did. a great job of adapting uh the offensive. style to to Jeff's strengths uh and we. you know we beat three really good teams. um. but particularly um you know the bills. and the 49ers in 1990 those are like two. of the top they were the two top teams.

in AFC and the NFC uh and you know it. was a combination it wasn't just Jeff it. wasn't just anybody it was you know West. Virginia guys had to throw him in there. for you love them hell yeah love the. whole family but uh but yeah so that. would you know that would be a key one. for sure okay uh you mentioned the NFC. East there talking about the NFC North. back in the day and you mentioned the. Eagles and if I didn't get your opinion. on this I would be an absolute [ __ ] did. you know like as the head coach D ball. and we'll talk to GM Shane you knew that.

a player was coming back trying to like. saquin we everybody on Earth seemingly. knew that saquin was going to have a. little bit. more you know ass in the pads you know. and he uh he want bananas yesterday. against the Giants and he obviously saw. everything that took place with hard. knocks and then he said going into the. uh stadium in the metti he saw some fans. burning his jersey and he uh you know a. little added extra motivation for you. with your players going into a place. that they had been did you ever think. about that and in a player leaving.

coming back against the Patriots did you. ever think about that and what were your. thoughts on saquan yesterday having the. most yards he's ever had at MetLife as a. Philadelphia Eagle instead of a. giant. right uh well it it looked like uh in. the hard KNX that mean it looked like I. don't think D wanted to get rid of us. saquan and I certainly don't think John. Mara want to get rid of saquan I mean. this seemed like you know kind of a. general manager thing of oh we don't.

think anybody will pay him um when kind. of everybody in the league knew that he. was going to go to the Eagles but anyway. that I don't I don't think everybody was. on the same page on that at least it. didn't appear that way from hard KNX. which honestly I'm surprised they even. let that air with that kind of tone. being on it but anyway agre yeah sure we. dealt with that you know we went into. Buffalo with uh after Malloy and that. was you know got beat 31 to nothing and. then uh at the end of the year when they. came back to Gillette we won 31 to. nothing and we had Brady come back in.

Tampa and and you know that was a real. competitive game but you know ultimately. uh you know Tom and and Tampa beat us. that year um so you know yeah you've. been in those situations I mean look. players T and coaches change teams every. year in the National Football League. that's just what it is and they change. in certain divisions sometimes they they. don't change in the same division is. that's usually the case but sometimes. they do um but I think in Philadelphia's. case it was a great move by hoe and the. Eagles to not only get a great player.

but to take a great player from another. team in your division so that's kind of. like a a double hit there you know it's. like win a double header instead of just. one game you don't only get a good. player but you take one from your. competitor so um I thought that was a. great acquisition by by Philly but yeah. that happens all the time I think a. little that's overrated too oh they know. our plays we know their plays we know. this guy they know that guy um you know. I I think that part of it's a little bit. overrated but yeah sure it happens every.

week honestly not to this extent this. was certainly a highlighted situation. but it it happens every week and with. the Patriots for sure um we couldn't. keep all of our players every year and. our players some of our players left and. went to other teams the following year. and you know you end up playing against. them and they were good players it. wasn't that we couldn't get rid of them. just can't afford to keep them all but. that's that's part of being you know. being on a good football team the Giants. thing I don't really understand he was. their best player uh you know for a. couple million dollars more they could.

have kept them I guess um you know. instead they got a guard or somebody I. don't know offensive line doesn't look. very good I mean they look that they're. playing they're playing a guy at left. tackle who shouldn't be playing left. tackle Evan Neil is drafted in the first. round he doesn't play um you know they. have some UFA guards that are pretty. suspect it's it's a tough line and and. honestly I thought that um you know the. quarterback is is trying to hang in. there it's just it's been tough sleding.

Monday night Danny's. starting. right right so I. mean is he playing offensive line I. think is what he yeah they be a all. right let's wait for the Giants I hear. Bruce in his entire life demising up uh. back there Bruce it's going to be okay. pal all right you guys are going to be.

okay it won't be but you know it's fine. hey Bruce I appreciate that uh coach. bich said the same exact thing we did. while we were watching Hard Knocks were. saying I can't believe we're able to see. all I it was the best Hard Knocks by far. we were watching it going how the hell. do we have ins it that I don't know if. any other team will sign up for that. legit but NFL films did a great job it. was captivating very captivating this. year yes. yeah no NFL fil look they do a great job. of that but in the end the teams had the. approval on that so um at least that's. the way I understand it I don't know but.

anyway well at least my team's we had. understand mea mea wasn't the one I. guess or was he the one that had the. final say because he's like I would like. everybody know that I didn't [ __ ] I. didn't I did not like to say go ahead AJ. go ahead AJ coach when uh when you look. around the league was was like I got Joe. Shane get [ __ ] last got this guy oh. boy if we get rid of take one he goes to. the Eagles I might jump off oh my don't. do it and then the NFL films people are. like uh Mr Mario you want to see this.

he's like yeah let them know that I I'm. not happy use that as the trailer yeah. put that in three episodes if you go. ahead AJ sorry sorry sorry coach sorry. thinking about Jared gfer talking about. the Lions have you seen like when you. watch that dude play like I know. watching a a quarterback play the guy. seems so confident so comfortable and he. throws the ball into windows that like a. lot of guys wouldn't even attempt when. you see a quarterback playing that well. like def ly how do you come after him do. you want to some guys you want to Blitz. him some guys you want to drop eight. like how do you how do you develop a. game plan for a guy that seems to be. playing so confident right.

now well AJ I think you go to the Tampa. game you know I think Tampa you know did. a good job against them and and that you. know that's the way to play him is to is. to be able to get some pressure up the. middle and get him off the spot don't. let him stand back there and run past. them you don't want to be you know. behind him you want to be right right. into his face right right up the middle. and uh Tampa did a good job of that and. ultimately they were able to they were. able to handle him so um I think he's. you know he's playing very well he's got. a lot of weapons but you know when a. player's comfortable like that in the.

pocket I think you got to try to get him. you know get him off the spot that he. wants to throw from God damn he's. breaking records crushing he is breaking. records and and that Johnson offense is. a lot of fun too I mean it is a so much. fun to watch he's like the perfect. quarterback for the offense it feels. like 100% And then the rest of the NFL. wouldn't hire uh Bill bich to be a head. coach or H this guy to be a head coach. yeah so now he is still there for. another year none of it makes sense. congrats to the Detroit Lions though and. their chant around town is Jared golf so.

he's showing up for at every sporting. event every single one good for you guys. culture change immediately upon mcdc and. homes getting up there let's talk about. and Pat I I would just say I think he's. playing a lot better uh than he was you. know with the Rams and even when he. first got to the uh when he got to the. Lions uh you know in New England we. played him a couple years ago and you. know it was a 31 nothing and and he. looks like a lot better player obviously. the team's better the offensive line is. very good I think it's the best line in. the league with you know Su Decker and.

ragn now those three guys are combined. you know really good cornerstones for. the offensive line um and so that helps. everything when you can handle those. Edge rushers and you can be three on two. inside on a fourman rush so uh but. they're running the ball well they get. good movement on the line of scrimmage. and uh and and their backs are both very. good they complimentary backs they're. explosive uh you know Montgomery is. strong he's a tough guy get the ball in. the end zone and and Gibbs is a home run.

guy in both a running game and a passing. game so uh it's it's tough to defend but. I think if you look at the Tampa game. that's the best way to do it and I think. teams will probably try to play him more. like Tampa did uh going forward least I. would I think they need to get the ball. to pen a little bit more that'd be good. get B pen a little bit more keep trying. those trick plays all right dbut has a. question for you coach about tonight. yeah speaking. the trick plays are great except the the. fake pun almost cost them so um you know. but in the end you know it doesn't.

matter because they you know they made. the field goal but if things hadn't. worked out we'd be talking about the. fake punt so just just a little heads up. live by a sword di by a sword up there. in Detroit he's been very aggressive. this was a lot there was a lot going on. on this one throw this one away a lot. drive that's tough yeah they scored next. play right you run a lot you didn't run. a lot of fakes did you normally very. good teams aren't yeah so in 79 uh when. I got to Giants as a special teams coach. I I ran a bunch of them and then uh I. think we were maybe five for five on. them and then I I ran a throwback to.

Jennings the punter and that didn't work. out so well and he was going across the. field he got hit and uh it was a whole. yard sale over there on on the uh on the. Rams bench his helmet ear pads he was. over by the cheerleaders and the team. doctors and uh and when coach Perkins he. walked over to check on him and uh and. he came back and and uh coach kind of. looked at me and said you know you call. that one again and and there'll be. another special teams coach here and so. I did actually call one similar to that.

I called one with Mormon in the Pro Bowl. oh my God that was you oh no Sean Taylor. yeah why' you do that to him Sean Taylor. well Mormon's really fast he ran him. against us at Buffalo I mean he's really. fast he ran like four five uh but you. know he he couldn't get away from Shawn. Taylor that was yeah I say coach that. was a I mean that that that lit up. everything so that was another one that. uh well the special teams coach called. it I went to I called to Brad I say Brad.

like I don't think we should run that. anymore uh that was really Brad's call. no I got to take credit for it too okay. uh rest in peace Sean Taylor and also I. think rest in peace the most fakes in. Pro bowls going forward from that moment. on I don't know if uh I'm signing up for. that all right let's talk about tonight. a little bit go ahead dbug I know it's. two games I lock you on this Tampa. Ravens games two quarterbacks playing. very well Lamar playing the MVP level uh. bucks can actually run the ball now. which is which is a sight to see but uh. what what matchups are you watching.

tonight in that bucks Ravens match up. Monday Night. Football yeah I think it's it I think. this will be great uh but I I really do. I like the uh I like the way the Ravens. are playing offensively um Lamar has. given them a lot of leadership um they. have great speed and between the. quarterback and the receivers and then. they have so much power with you know. Ricard and in their offensive line. obviously Henry so uh but I think if. anybody can stand up to him on the line. of scrimmage it's the buck so I think. that'll be a great matchup um you know I.

think the issue really for the Ravens is. their past defense and they're past. coverage um and so I think Mayfield is. you know going to try to attack that the. Ravens are pretty good against the Run. um maybe the Bucks can get it going a. little bit to keep them off balance but. in the end I think they're going to have. to make some explosive plays in a. passing game uh and then you know both. teams are pretty good in the kicking. game obviously if it comes comes down to. a game-winning kick um you know you. always like having Justin Tucker to do. that so um I think this is really a.

great matchup you know in Tampa uh so be. a good you know good test I think if. anybody can can handle uh like when. Tampa opened the season against the uh. [ __ ] or commanders all right back to. back weeks here it's all right old. school and you know they they kind of. they spied on uh on Daniels and and that. was pretty effective I thought they did. a good job on that. uh I think they'll probably do something. like that again against against Jackson. in passing situations the problem with. Lamar is he can get you on the early.

down runs and scrambles too so um great. matchup looking forward to it I think. this is really uh you know a good test. here for both teams against a style that. they don't see because AFC NFC of course. we all know what Lamar's record is in. the NFC and we're not used to playing. him um he's he's very deceptive he's. he's fast he's quick he's faster and. quicker I think than what you think he. is uh in person um not that he's not. faster Qui I'm just saying in person.

it's it's even more explosive than what. you think it is so uh I think the teams. that play against them like the. Pittsburghs and and Clevelands and all. that that have times have played him. really well uh are just a little more. familiar with his skill set than some of. these NFC teams are that that don't seem. very often he cats them by surprise if I. recall you've always been very openly. complimentary of of Lamar Jackson being. a problem against your team I think like. literally since the beginning oh yeah. yeah right absolutely special a big.

problem he's not a little problem he's a. big problem but and again I think the. biggest problem with him is first and. second down on third down you can put a. spy on him and and at least take care of. the scrambles and and make him beat your. passing but on early Downs you you can't. do that it's hard uh and you've got to. stop those power runs behind Rashard and. with Henry uh and and their receivers do. a good job of blocking they have good. game plan runs that are you know tough. scheme plays uh and and once they get. baitman or or flowers or one of those.

guys in the secondary if you don't if. you don't have them they'll go the. distance on you same thing with agalar. like those guys can all run so uh I. think you got to take care of you know. flowers and Andrews on third down and a. quarterback and uh and do a good job in. the red area because they're going to. get down to the red area and then that's. where the quarterback runs become a. little bit more of a problem too you got. Henry but then you got Lamar on some of. those counter keeps and things like that. those they're tough plays and likely I. mean he gets going it's just they have. so many weapons and then they can pound.

Caesar salad so as soon as there was a. break in story I go hey is this a salad. show happening right now he goes uh-huh. and then [ __ ] tosses the plate up uh. snags the plate left hand grabs the. thing [ __ ] drops it on there and then. tosses another one it was like a like a. bartender whenever they're doing. mixologist yeah and I uh so obviously. was captivated by said's show broke a. plate that night no way no he had 38. shows that night 38 Sal shows at boa.

restaurant I talked to one of the others. there's three of them allog together. he's the primary performer if he's busy. elsewhere they will send in the backups. two backups there was uh 38 shows I. think one broken plate first time DJ. salad the one that we saw had done that. in I think like six months or something. oh no was he okay it was a busy night. there was a lot of people in there lot. of down there busy busy busy weekend did. uh did the did they race on Sunday or. they canel it I heard no. wow no Falls Sabin was awesome I think.

on your legs and you know when they're. pinching the back of your hamstring wor. that was literally what was happening. during the commercial breaks while they. were doing they like we're going to try. to get in there it's like I bet this is. this is PTSD for when I was a kid just. let them fly that's why they were that's. why they were dangling so much out there. good Saves by the way though you can. tell that on street hockey I had it boom. on horse bang hit that [ __ ] got to get. out of there yeah absolutely you know. and in these conversations what else am. Tony's talking and Tony's doing the same. to me I did not get everything sure. until I got back to the set and I go hey. ears weren't working there how'd it go. or what happened you know and as soon as. I opened my phone it was. like I'm like that's kill Tony football. That's exctly Tony that is that's Tony. That's Tony hinchcliff football out. there BRS it you're talking about he. walked out at the comedy Mothership. unannounced to do a look at all these. people by the way yeah it is a cool.

scene every single week the people and. this kid was really cool his friend. actually made the kick at Texas A&M like. his one of his best friends so he was a. little bit more prepped than anybody. else he had these big [ __ ] kickers on he. wanted to go straight on right here. couldn't hear a word he's saying though. I'm literally can't hear anything. because the text's not working but they. were somehow able to send it out to. television so I mean you never know how. that goes all three viewers look at his. mouth talking well that's what I was. literally just staring in his mouth so I. thought it was the worst one ever. obviously I thought it was the worst. that thing was the wor did you hear.

anything we said and he said oh yeah we. heard everything y I was like I did not. but it was fun shout out to Tony. stopping by he was very hospitable on. Friday night too that was my first time. at the comedy Mothership and uh what a. place yeah looks like it pretty sweet. sounded sweet it was it the way it's um. yeah it everybody was so nice and kind. obviously but like the way it's set up. everybody's phone's in bags too so like. a lot of people are going in there and. just like testing a lot of stuff because. whether they're about to go on tour or. trying to go on tour you can like work.

stuff in there if it's terrible it's not. recorded by anybody and if it's good. it's like all right let's hang on to it. and keep it moving two rooms there's a. uh Fatman room and a little boy room and. uh one's like a little smaller Club feel. the other is more like a uh theater type. feel even though it's set up it was yeah. it was really good a lot of booze in. there I'll tell you. what see big in the comedy SC Texas. so the comedy scene down.

there you got La comedy okay I learned a. lot from The Comedians I was. chitchatting about and it's a. fascinating grind stand of Comedians and. it's a small community everybody kind of. knows each other and uh I think. everybody like helps it's like uh. Community culture is a cool one or the. comedian Community is a cool one I think. personally but they talked about how. like most of them were at the comedy. store in La then they come down to. Austin but La still has its standup. comedy New York still has its stand-up. comedy and in Austin just like a year. and a some into it they're like becoming.

the comedy Place almost the standup. comedy home and the fans there treat it. that way both rooms are sold out every. single show so like for comedians to. come to La when you go to Comedy Store. always a good show always sold out New. York there's a bunch of places that you. go to always a good show always funny. people Legends coming through there. always sold out Austin's like quickly. become like something very similar and I. guess Shane Gillis moving down to Austin. big move one of them said he was like.

Kevin Durant go the Golden State. Warriors pretty much is KD coming down. or Shane going down to Austin so it was. awesome I didn't get to see Shane. because he had a record in Philadelphia. his home arena Wells Fargo congrats to. him he sold the most amount of tickets. comedians ever sold in Wells Fargo over. 20,000 people came to watch him dude. yeah the amount of yeah dude. dude pretty cool dude I hope he took it. in a little bit yeah yeah those. comedians are different though man oh.

yeah we need them yes we need them. forever Society for sure we lost him. there for a little bit I think we lost. him there for a little bit and people. are going to try to get rid of them for. a while but it's like hey they were. literally just trying to make people. laugh like now if you're on a receiving. end well I watch Tony Hinchcliffe. in that comedy. Mothership just don't talk during the. sets I don't think it's a good move I. just don't think the guy that host kill. Tony for 11 and a half years which is a. roast show I don't think you should try.

to interrupt his program me and Gumpy. were sitting in the back of the room and. the first time somebody interrupted it. was like okay how's this going to go you. know anytime you're had a comedy show. which is a speaking engagement and other. people start speaking I'm always. intrigued to see how you know it goes. little something. friendly little. something about sick of it little. something murder scene okay then another.

and. then two to three minutes of. maybe the most well-. layered takedown of a human being that I. have ever heard and all seemingly off. the top of his head cuz he had just seen. this person for the first time four. minutes ago oldest thing I've ever heard. in my life ice cold it was phenomenal it. was wild and as soon as he got done with. it he goes so now we have no more right. okay thank you and then moves along the. next one and everybody was like. obviously the whole room yeah I was just.

thinking of that one person though like. hopefully they're so drunk they don't. remember any of it which is seemingly. what the case was in this particular. case but if they have any recollection. of that at night when they lay their. head down boy I don't know how it's. going to go you would think though hey. but to do that to have the to have the. lack of awareness to to continue to. interject in that setting like I don't. think they're having that. self-reflection later I watched uh I. enjoy standup comedy a lot I enjoy the. way brains operate I enjoy the way they.

craft it and you know the whole process. behind it and the way you know they just. have to kind of dance so i anytime. somebody comes to Indianapolis you'll. normally see me going to the show. especially if it's somebody that has. done a lot of good in the in the in the. world comedy world I watch one veteran. comedian just [ __ ] in Indianapolis at. a theater somebody as soon as they said. one word nobody [ __ ] paid to hear you. okay and then the person thought that. was an answer he goes no not going until.

that person's kicked out of here [ __ ]. 30 seconds in 30 seconds in the show. person got kicked out are we good and. everybody's like yep and it's like all. right here we go because two people. stand up ComEd is talking yeah so two. people poorly timed in any conversation. or any joke can ruin the entire [ __ ]. show and it's like that's a big deal to. those comedians I think I forgot that. before I went in on Friday into that. comedy mother ship and I was like oh my. God mind I forgot how much comedians. hate these people here it was very what.

a talent Tony's just out there living oh. yeah living smok cigars doesn't smoke. anything. else I it felt like it was 2002 again. sure love that. mhm just he had a [ __ ] I'm like. this dude brought out he had a case of. cigars mhm and then was like that's not. the only one I got. another it was unbelievable it was. absolutely unbelievable and then his. friend Kyle guy was all jacked up they.

own a bar there we went to the back room. got out it was very nice young Jamie was. there obviously legend legend Ohio. proved me right he proved everybody in P. he Pro right prove you right obviously. and you know the boo Birds did come out. early because a lot of people were. against Justin Fields losing the. starting role and Justin Fields. acknowledge if you played better you. know this wouldn't even be a. conversation what Tomlin told Jay Glazer. you know after he talked to you. obviously and read your post he said I. was a Lone Ranger in this there was a. lot of people that didn't want this how. many people is a lot of people that. didn't want this you think not just in. the Steelers organization but in. Pittsburgh as a whole you're there we. are not well in the organization I don't.

a big time win for those Colts I saw. Jeff Saturday this weekend it was great. to see him he did look good pton looked. good uh Dallas obviously went into the. trying to score a touchdown first down. first down Dallas Clark obviously doing. his thing and it's next to Tai Schmidt. mad Mel bobblehead there as well two. Iowa Legends there obviously next to. each other on the desk congrats to. Dallas going in gave a great speech had. a great weekend of celebrations and to. Conor's point there Jim mer had an open. microphone during Dallas Clark's speech. uh and it was amazing I did not know. that he was going to be ad living for. Dallas Clark as he was given speech but. he certainly did where I was standing.

they had a big blue carpet on the field. his ex- teammates we all got a chance to. go out there and we get introduced by. we got a chance to talk to a couple. Specialists then we move in closer for. the end of the speech so they can take a. photo and everything and we're standing. I'm standing like feet away from Dallas. and then like 20 ft away from Jim and. Dallas goes to my kids over there You're. My Greatest inspiration I love you guys. so much and he goes to the crowd he goes. who would have thought that my kids. would be born right down the street here. in St Vincent and their hoers and Jim. ERS without skipping a beat in his. microphone goes who your.

babies okay W Dallas is. speaker so that's my first time hearing. that so good so I'm standing there and I. go oh [ __ ] what he goes he knew his. microphone he's holding his microphone. he goes who's your. babies like while the crowd's like. cheering and I go oh [ __ ] audible oh.
