Green Bay Packers. >> You pick. Damn it. >> Your friend, tell a friend something. nice could change their life.
Hello beautiful people and welcome to. our humble abode the thundome on this. massive overreaction Monday November. 24th 2025 this sports program begins now. football. >> is magical and the week 12 NFL Sunday. slate delivered in a huge way not only. do we have multiple overtime games now. my team suffered uh in overtime to the.
Kansas City Chiefs and we are certainly. going to have to talk about that because. lo and behold, maybe the Chiefs is still. the Chiefs. >> That might be one of the top five. headlines we roll into, but there's. multiple overtimes. There's a huge. comeback in a star-studded game. And. then last night, we got a chance to. watch a goat do a goat thing and. absolutely demolish somebody. Now, tonight, Carolina Panthers travel all. the way out to San Francisco to take on. the 49ers in Santa Clara, California. Sorry, not San Francisco. 7 and 12 point. spread. the Carolina Panthers with Rico.
Dao, who's been one of the special. stories of this NFL season. Who is this. guy? Where did he come from? Well, he's. actually a machine. He's traveling to. take on the ners. The ners, look at. Brock back that offense is a wagon. >> Actually, it's evolved since the old. gold mine in 49er days. It's not a. wagon. This thing is a train. No, it's a. bullet train. though this thing is a. hypersonic plane to London which is. going to transform the way the entire.
world operates. That is what the Niners. offense looks like whenever Brock. Party's back in control which he is. Tonight we wrap up week 12 in a huge. way. The toxic table's here at Boston. Connor at Ty Schmidt one half OF THE. HAMMER DIED Cowboys AP Tone is here. Tone obviously a lot of things happened. around the NFL yesterday. Uh how' the. public fair? Did we finally start. beating the sports books or what? Oh, >> I wish I could tell you yes. Uh that. that is not the case. Uh I went through. it this morning. Teams that were getting. 60% or more of the bets yesterday were.
>> 27 and one against the So no. No, we. have we. >> worse. >> We we stink. We stink again. >> Okay. So, uh maybe we're not seeing the. board. Maybe the more we see the less we. know. >> Some are. >> What do you mean by that? >> Like I I assume there's some people that. had like had really good picks this. week, but as a majority, no. >> Yeah. Well, AJ Hawk actually had a. incredible weekend. We'll see if that. continues this evening. I think he got. nine, right? Yeah, he went 93 and one. I. went 661. 93 and one. Yeah, I feel good.
about where I'm at. Actually, as I was. reading the graphic here to see how I. did because me and AJ both forget. exactly who were where and there was. other bets being made obviously. throughout the weekend. So, 66 and one. I was like, "Oh, bad." And I go over to. age. I'm like, "Age age is seeing it. right now." 93 and1. Now, is it a. feeling? Is it a a lurking feeling? What. are we reading? What are we not? We. shall dive into it all. Nine-year NFL. vet who looks incredibly cool. Darius. Jay Butler is here. >> Debb, what's your big takeaway from the. weekend, do you think? Good football. back. Meaningful football.
>> A lot of good football. A lot of records. been broken. Uh, a lot of close games. So, uh, that's I guess that's my big. takeaway so far in the week 12. >> Well, it's meaningful football now, too. >> Very meaningful. >> Every loss. can change a career. >> Every win. can save a season. >> It can. It's meaningful football time. >> Truly. >> And that means we here. >> Mhm. >> need to do a sale for that. >> Okay, >> breaking news. Uh at. store.patmackforshow.com, there is.
currently a meaningful football sale. 25% off everything because it is that. time of year. Yes, we will celebrate. Thanksgiving and I hope you have a. fantastic Black Friday and I hope. Christmas is magical and I hope your new. year is great. But for us right now, it's big because it's meaningful. football everywhere. College football. has its rivalry weekend coming up. Hello. Big time meaningful football on. Friday and Saturday alongside the NFL. slate on Thursday which has every team. playoff implications on. It's meaningful.

Who knows when. you'll get this stuff. I think it'll be. quick. We got to have a different crew. on the back end. We got a different crew. on the back end this time. CFO Phil. These folks put together, they're ready. for the excitement if you are as well. store.padmagishow.com. We appreciate the hell out of you. Now, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to dive. into the top five headlines coming out. of week 12 of the NFL Sunday slate. We. said, uh, we want to do something each.
week that maybe has a little bit of. reason, a little bit of rhyme, a little. bit of structure. What are they doing. football games with that? Oh, that's. called the first 15. Ladies and. gentlemen, welcome to our first 15. driven by Ram Truck. Whenever you hit. the gas, that thing sounds like uh. Obviously, incredibly smooth, powerable, uh powerful, and durable, but it's also. perfect for the first 15 cuz that's what. we're trying to be. Put the clock uh. please in the lower uh left corner. Bang. Let's get started. Top five. headlines coming out of week 12 Sunday.
slate number five. Who's league? IT'S LOOKING LIKE RAMS LEAGUE. HEARD. THAT A LOT last night. Whose house? Rams. house. Whose house? Rams house. Felt. loud. felt like the Rams faithful have. finally I don't want to say finally, but. the Rams faithful taken over that entire. building. Now, whenever they go out to. Los Angeles, you have no idea what's. going to happen. How's this going to go? Is the franchise going to be able to be. exciting enough and electrifying enough. to steal the attention of the people. that live in LA? And with the Rams, are. they going to be good enough? Then they.
win a Super Bowl in Sofi, in their own. stadium, in their own city, and then. they uh go all in basically for that. team. They send a bunch of draft picks. out there. You know, h GM actually. quoted saying, "Fuck them picks." You. know, that's kind of everywhere. We need. to win right now in a brand new city. And somehow from that era to what. they're doing right now, they've been. able to continue to turn over the. dominance. They got a young defense. that's everywhere. And they got a. quarterback who was drafted in the same. class as me and Debb. >> Yeah. >> I mean, he was picked number one. I was. picked 222. He was picked number one.
Darius Jay Butler was picked. >> 41. Diva. That's old CBA for Matthew. Stafford and for Darius J. Butler. But. what this guy's doing this year is. outrageous. He's the MVP odds on. favorite and every time he's on prime. time and he's doing the [ __ ] that he's. doing, especially with Devonte, which. Debut's going to get into here in a. matter of moments. But every time he. gets out on TV and showcases what he's. able to do at this current uh stage of. his career with dudes like Puka Aua, who. Dvonte Adams said he's like this is the. greatest vibe of all time. Puka Aua. always positive, always energetic, also.
impossible to tackle and incredibly. tough. Kind of sets a tone for everybody. in the building. And oh yeah, you got an. OG Devonte Adams in that building. And. oh yeah, Matthew Stafford's playing. better football than he's ever played. Devonte Adams just passed Jimmy Graham. for the most one-yard touchdowns in the. history of the NFL. >> Congratulations, Devonte. >> Let's go. Is that real? >> Congrats. 15 OF THEM. YOU KNOW, JEROME. BETTIS IS ON THAT LIST. You know, Jerome. Bettis had that run with the Pittsburgh. Steelers where uh basically they would. walk it all the way down the field and. get to the one instead of the tush bush, it was the bus hush, you know, and he.
just kind of ran it in for a touchdown. I I think it was fast Willie. Uh Parker. >> Parker got all the yards and had like no. touchdowns. Why Why don't you have any. touchdowns? Well, anytime we get inside. territory. >> Yeah, he had like three touchdowns, two. yards in a couple different games. You're talking about one yard. touchdowns. Grank had this situation. obviously whenever they were down on the. goal line with Tom Brady, they would. just flank Gronk out there one-on-one. And if you sent one person out there, okay, well that's that's a two-way go. for Grank right now. If you send two. people out there, what happens to the.
box? Well, obviously we're able to. hammer it. It's an unstoppable offensive. weapon if you have it. Devonte's get. off. They say he's better than anybody. So, not only do you have the best get. off, you also have a quarterback that. never misses. This dude never misses. And then on the defensive side, they're. only giving up 16.3 points a game or. something like that. That's the fewest. in the NFL. This is the first time ever. the odds on favorite favor of the MVP. has had a defense this dominant ever. So, whenever you talk about who's. league, it's starting to feel like we. might be talking about the Rams league.
Is that how you're seeing it, Deb? >> Absolutely. You talk about it. offensively. always starts with the. quarterback. A lot of questions about. Matt and his health coming into this. season. So, for him to be playing like. this now is unbelievable. And then. everyone around him, obviously, we know. his head coach, the play caller Shawn. McVey, he's great. They got a good. running game. The O line has been. keeping him clean. Whenever you have a. quarterback, you know, that's up in age. We mentioned being drafted in 09. You. want to keep him clean. You want to keep. him up upright. They've been doing a. great job of that. And it's Devonte. Adams. Once you get into that area like. his release game even out here like his.
release game off the ball I mean Chad. Oeno Stevie Johnson and Devonte Adams. Devonte Adams will be at the top of that. list like he's so smooth out in the. field when you get into that area low. red area slants fades all of it. Then. Puka he's everywhere he does everything. It's unbelievable. Do you think because. Shawn McVey was a wide receiver, >> he has seen himself and he said if I had. Devonte's release, I would just on the. goal line and we just flank him out. there. You got Puka on the other side. You got Parkinson got all these other.
weapons that obviously the Rams have in. abundance. But if they one-on-one out. here, Shawn McVey thinking in his head, if I had Devonte's release, that's a. two-way. Do you think that is an. advantage for wide receiver. relationships when the head coach play. caller is a wide receiver? I think that. always helps and it's part of I mean. even when like he's always going to get. the most out of out of his weapons even. when Odell Beckham came over that year. that you mentioned they went and won the. Super Bowl he would just isolate Beckham. on that side of the field and that was. while you know Cooper Cup was winning. the triple crown but he would get the. best out of both guys and putting them. in their situation to be productive and.
on the opposite you know side of P of uh. Devonte is Puka and Puka's moving. everywhere he dominates in the interior. of the field. He'll insert through a B. or C gap and run a route down the field. He's tough. He came on the show and. said, "Hey, look, I'm never I'll never. be the guy that's going to run out of. bounce or turn down contact." You talk. about his vibes on and off the field. But you put the ball in number 12's. hand. He's going to make something. special happen damn near every time. And. then defensively, you mentioned rarely. do we see an offense like this paired up. with the championship level defense, but. Chris Schula has the boys rolling. The.
front four is the best in the league in. my opinion. And then guys on the back. end really making a name for themselves. this year. Kinchins, who had two picks. uh last week. Uh Kobe Durant had a pick. last week. Now he has a pick six this. week and Emanuel Forbes Jr. I think he. was targeted seven times and didn't give. up a catch which he was a wash out in in. THE COMMANDERS. >> WHAT WHAT HAPPENED ON THE COMMANDER? He's super skinny, right? >> I mean he's still a still a slim guy and. I think he'll always be a slim guy, but. the reason you rarely see a guy that. small get drafted in the first round.
The reason he did was because of his. skill set, how dominant he was at. Mississippi State and now you just see. confidence. Confidence is everything at. any position. When you're a quarterback, having that in life, when you have that. confidence, you're in the system, you. have a coach that believes in, you have. players around you that are great. He. This is what you see when you go to a. new place and we always say, "Hey, maybe. this guy just need a fresh start.". That's a great example of this right. here. >> To your point, Debbut is from NextGen. Stats. Emanuel Forbes faced seven. targets and did not allow a single. reception against the Buccaneers. And. remember this Buccaneers offense really. good. What uh.
>> what's going on? He so he it seemed. early he was reaching Baker Mayfield was. reaching for uh his arm but they let him. play so it felt like it was happening. early if he had broken anything up there. like collar bone I don't know if they. let him play. >> I I don't want to diagnose anything but. it feels like something with the AC. joint I'm I'm not 100% sure just the way. he was reaching for it incredibly. painful I mean like one of the most. painful things. >> how many times he sacked before this. like he was under under duress that we. saw in prime time when Josh Allen was.
running for his life against that. Houston Texans defense. It kind of. seemed very similar against this Rams. front. So, whatever he came into the. season dealing with, it definitely. didn't help facing facing a uh what. could they call him? >> Jeez. Jeez, what an incredible I mean, that was good. That was really good. I. appreciate that. But like uh what we're. trying to say is he was reaching. immediately to here. >> Feels like that's probably a very real. thing he was playing through last night. So, obviously, is Baker playing his best. football? Is the offense playing their. best football? I is anybody going to be.
able to play their best football against. this Rams defense? I I I think that is. the big question. And Schula was getting. a lot of facetime last night, Chris. Schuler, as as he should because how. dominant they were. This Buccaneers. offense is good. Oh, yeah. This is a. very good Buccaneers offense that they. did that to. >> We're like four weeks away from or. sorry, we're four weeks removed from. basically saying Tampa Bay was going to. the Super Bowl. I mean, they they had. everything and the Bucks or sorry, the. Rams made them look basically. incompetent on offense. And you're. talking about Godwin was back. They. weren't as hurt. Uh, one thing, and I'm. hoping this doesn't happen just because.
I would like my team to have a chance to. win the Super Bowl. Aaron Donald needs. to come back and just play 10 snaps a. game with this D line, and I don't care. if he is even just on the sideline in. pass just hyping the guys up, kind of. telling them, hey, that's great dance. move. Maybe you can do this to make it a. little better. But he was he was on game. day last week, two weeks ago, whatever. And he looks just as jacked as he did. when he was playing. Now, he probably. needs a little time to get into game. shape, maybe even put on a couple. pounds. I don't think so either. He. might be able to play middle linebacker. >> That's why I just like Jage.
>> Yes. >> Like JJ Watt, we kind of experienced his. first year of retirement with him if you. do recall weekly we join him. >> And that dude just didn't understand. >> like, hey, you're not still in the NFL. He was still getting under the squat. rack every single morning running. sprints. You remember he was running. sprints and doing cardio and everything. And I don't know if Aaron Donald's doing. all of that stuff. I'd assume yes. I. would assume that he would be doing. those things. And then we saw him at. pit. I mean, that guy threw me with a. pinky. >> Yeah, >> the guy threw me with a pink still got. those. He trained with knives and.
whenever you talk about that front, >> you drop Aaron Donald in it and once. again, we have no inside information on. whether or not Aaron Donald wants to go. back. Aaron Donald's enjoying the hell. out of his life, I think, and he's. earned it. And he goes 10 years, eight. all pros, 10 Pro Bowls, won a Super. Bowl, three defensive MVPs. >> I feel like I did pretty I feel like I. had a pretty good career. You certainly. did, Eric. You certainly did. You worked. your ass off for all those things. but. he was in the building last night and uh. I'm assuming he gets excited watching. the way that defense play. >> Yeah, I think get out there and play.
right now if you wanted to. I'm not sure. if you guys heard them talking about. they've said it a few times with Jared. Verse when he went and worked out with. them and he was like, "You know what, Aaron, don't call me. I I I'll call. you." Say it was the hardest [ __ ] he. ever experienced. And that's him post. NFL career. So, I'm sure 99 can still. get in there and dominate. >> Congrats to Rams fans. >> Yeah, >> legit. >> It's a good life right now. >> Right now, it's very good. And how. long's Matthew Stafford going to play? Especially if he's hopping into that. tube of live foreverness. The immortal. chamber. >> Yeah. What was that? What was that thing.
called? >> Mortal cryo chamber of life. >> It's amortal instead immoral. So I don't. know what the difference is. >> No. Well, >> cuz he's an alpha. >> It's. >> Mhm. >> It's amoral. Maybe. >> Maybe it's a hard A on him. >> Yeah. >> Whatever the case, he looks good. They. also have the number 11 pick still. So. >> who was calling the game? There it is. Amortal. Amoral. Ammoral advertised itself as a wellness. device that aims to optimize human. performance and promote holistic health.
through a combination of non-invasive. technologies. It worked. >> This guy's [ __ ] unbelievable. >> Yeah, it did. >> We saw him walk into this thing and we. saw him walk out of that thing and now. we're getting the season we're getting. right now. >> That's a good question. >> Don't do this. >> We talked to him about this, didn't we? >> Yeah, we talked to someone about it. >> He said, "Man's doing pretty good this. year." And it's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Mr. White Teeth. right there. >> Yeah, a clone would say that. >> Admit that. >> He looks good, too. >> Oh, yeah. Great. >> Looks young even with the the beard. >> and he's the arms.
>> He's not getting hit either. He could I. mean he could play another seven years. >> It's like the body that's playing out. there has actually never been hit before. this year. >> I mean, doesn't he I mean, he's. >> he is a little too the touchdown to. Parkinson obviously every week. >> Also, never never saw those calves until. this year either. So, >> well, he was hiding them maybe because. he's a humble man. >> Did he get new legs? >> Well, it does appear maybe from knees. Don cuz those Cavs. But once again, we. don't really know because he he's we've. never really heard from him. >> other than miked up situations with NFL. films when he was in Detroit just.
getting murdered and then throwing. awesome passes. >> Detroit was so stinky. >> So stink. >> So stinky. >> But they had Calvin Johnson and Matthew. Stafford. So you were kind of forced to. pay attention to them, you know, like. we're all forced to pay attention to. that team because they were doing. records. And I mean Devonte's on his. he's on a record-breaking pace right. now. Already did last night. uh jumped. to top 10, top nine, top eight, whatever. the number is in touchdowns. Congratulations, Rats. >> Already only has one less touchdown as a. Ram. One behind Puka. Puka has 13, he.
has 12. >> Yeah, it's been a hell of a year. And uh. I'll tell you what, whenever you find. the cheat code on goal line offense, and. you don't need everybody on your team to. get accordioned, uh you know, like the. tush push does. That's a really nice. thing. The offensive line loves that. Devonte Adams has a one-on-one on the. outside. You know who else loves that? Running back to Well, running back may. want the touchdown. Everybody else loves. it that it's happening out there. And. all Matthew Stafford has to do is what? Just the thing that he's the best in the. world at just put it into a bucket.
>> Okay. >> No problem. And Devonte's like, "Wait. till you guys see the [ __ ] I worked on. in the summer." It's actually a triple. [ __ ]. >> That's all he's just crossing dudes up. >> Yeah. >> Is that the hard So what's the hardest? You don't know where he's going? Because. he doesn't use his hands either. >> Yeah. They're just down. >> His hands are like down. So it's like. very interesting. What is the hardest. part about his get Everybody talks about. his get off his get off his get off. It. just to me it looks like he just shakes. the [ __ ] out of somebody. >> Honestly on that one that that one that. was inexcusable by McCullen because you. have help inside there at Winfield and. he's so close. I'm sure they Yeah, I'm.
sure they go at this point like hey. we're talking about it 17 we're down. here. You you got to guard half a man. It's like Dez Bryant used to be. automatic down there with Romo when they. got there. He was going to throw the. back shoulder fade regardless of what. was happening. But if you're a corner, you got to be able to guard half a man. at least. So you take away half, but if. you're one-on-one just on an island and. he has a two-way go on you, you want to. initially take away leverage, but a. veteran like him, even if he sees out. inside leverage, he'll probably set you. up and still try to take it away. So, uh, when you have that two-way go and. you've done it as much as he has done.
it, and then you have a quarterback that. can actually be on the same page and hit. you, it's damn near unstoppable. >> Yeah, cuz Stafford's not missing. >> Exactly. Like we'll see sometimes those. opportunities where a ball will be a. little too far, land out of bounds, be a. little short, will get batted off to. somebody's back or something like that. I think there was a situation last night. with Dak and CD. Obviously, we will talk. about that here in a matter of moments. about where CD thought the ball was. going versus where it actually went. Now. granted, it went right through his arms, so he thought it was going back corner. It's like Stafford seemingly always puts. it right to this the place that. everybody wants.
>> Exactly. >> That's why when we talking about ball. spinners, bro, >> got it. >> Mhm. >> Absolutely got it. Could do it forever. Let's go to the top four headline. Now. we're talking about the. necessities. The stinking bear necessities. Hey, the. Bears, the Kings of the North. >> This is real big. >> Hey, just a tough team coming in. >> Mhm. >> Well, >> Pittsburgh Steelers with Mason Rudolph, who by Steelers fans own emissions, was. fresh off a hot fourth quarter with this.
Steelers team. maybe the guy who needs. to lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to the. promised land they were hoping to go to. this season because Aaron Rogers. fractured his left wrist. Now the story. going in was is Aaron Rogers going to. play against a team that he's the. landlord of. Is Aaron Rogers going to. play against Chicago Bears maybe one. final time in Chicago? He's got a. fracture on his left wrist. Okay. Uh. he's obviously throws right-handed. He. was trying to get in the game last week. He was allegedly trying to play this. week for a number of reasons. Not only. because he's super competitive and he. loves his Pittsburgh Steelers team, but.
also because he will like do one more. >> one more of these on Chicago. We found. out that he was a fan of the Chicago. sports team because he watched the WB. growing up. He was one of his six. channels. So he saw the Bulls and who. wasn't a fan of the Bulls, especially if. a Michael Jordan fan like I was. He. loved the Cubs and he loved playing. against Chicago obviously with the. Packers because it's a rivalry that he. held in high regards. So we thought. Aaron Rogers going wasn't Aaron Rogers. It was Mason Rudolph. And guess what? It. didn't matter because what the Chicago. Bears team is real. Now, let me talk to. you about what I like about Caleb. Williams. Ben Johnson, what he was able.
to do at the Detroit Lions with Jared. Goff, he turned Jared Goff, who is a. robot, into a very, very, very, very, very efficient robot. Hey, this is what. we need to do. These exact steps, this. exact play fake. The ball needs to be at. this exact pinpoint. So, we wondered, is. Caleb Williams ever going to be able to. buy into the Ben Johnson system? Well, for all that to happen, you need a lot. of things. Need a great offensive line. >> They invest in the offensive line. Oh. yeah. >> Need a great run game. Okay. Need a. great run game. Okay. We're going to. have a run game. This is if you look at. what the Detroit Lions had with Ben. Johnson. Best offensive line. Need a.
great run game. Then what do you need a. quarterback that's able to do? Well, he. needs to be able to hand that ball off. to the running back. And then he needs. to be able to play action the [ __ ] out. of that defense. Because if you have a. good play action and you have your back. to the defense, back to the defense like. this. Caleb Williams spent his entire. life shotgun looking at everybody. Hey. Caleb Williams, you're the best athlete. on the field. You need to have eyes on. everybody. And if something doesn't. work, make it work. Okay? That's what. you need to do. Now, they're asking, Caleb, for the success of this offense, for this offense to be as good, you have.
to take the ball, commit completely, turn your back to the defense. TJ Watts. on that defense. Turn your back. completely to the defense. Sell this. thing so that the linebackers can't. move. Okay? These linebackers can't. move. They can't do anything. They have. no idea. And then, bang, as soon as you. turn, you need to know that the ball is. going to go right to there. Right to the. seam. That's where it needs to go. We. don't need you thinking, okay, we just. need you to turn your back. Don't be. scared to get hit in the face. Could. happen. And as soon as you turn around, you need to just spin that thing. You. will catch the defense in a land that. they don't want to be in. You will have. wide open guys everywhere. And I'll tell.
you what, yesterday against this uh. Pittsburgh Steelers defense, wide open. guys everywhere. The rhythm, the timing, the execution of an offense by Caleb. Williams was very much on display. 50. couldn't do [ __ ] right there. 50. couldn't do a damn thing right there. because he had no idea what Caleb was. going to do. Back to the defense. Turns. around, boom, on a button. See you. later. He has to know what the defense. is doing pre- snap. So Caleb has to know. what the defense is kind of doing pre-. snap cuz then he now he has to decide. where he's going once he turns his back. back around. But he's making the right. decisions. He's committed completely to.
the play action and their team's built. to have success. And then on defensive. side, they just get turnovers. everywhere. >> They get turnovers everywhere here. Now. there's a couple stats that Hembo sent. over to me about this uh Chicago Bears. team. Okay. Last year in games that were. decided by five points or less 2024, they're one and six. Okay. This year. they're six- one. In those games, Chicago has a plus2 turnover margin in. those games. So whenever you talk about. not only are they winning the close. games because they're seemingly a. culture, a moxy, an aura, good, better,
best, never let rest or go is better and. better is best. They have that defense. getting the ball back for an offense. that is going to become much much. better. Th this is the first step. Now I. guess this would be the second step. First step was like buying into the. offense being good by Caleb. Mhm. >> Second step, starting to understand pre-. snap what the defense is doing, fully. committing to play action. There's so. much more. If you remember what Ben. Johnson and Jared Goff were able to do. in Detroit, this is the this is the. fundamental basis of this offense is.
being able to do this off of play. action. Then all the other [ __ ] comes. in. So whenever you talk about up and to. the right, it's like Caleb and Ben. Johnson. If they were able to work, we're going to be maybe unstoppable. seems like they're getting to the point. where they are going to work where we. can confidently say that. It's just how. quickly do they become that absolute. juggernaut that Detroit was. It might be. soon. It is fun to watch what they're. doing up. >> Yeah, I think they're just uh scratching. the surface. They're only 11 games in. and you're sitting at eight and three. I. don't think many people expected this. And Caleb Williams, he like when it's a.
high leverage situation, I feel like. that's when he's playing his best ball. And that that's that's really you rarely. hear that for a young quarterback like. him. So, I think they're just scratching. the surface with this offense. And yeah, it is a belief and a trust in something. that you really haven't done your whole. life. I would assume he ran a similar. offense in high school in the gun, uptempo, went to college, moved around. to colleges, but did similar things. So. to get to the National Football League, and now you're in a huddle, you got to. command the huddle, you got to call. plays, you got to be under center, you. got to do play action. And he's handling.
it great. He has young guys around him. as well. I think Burden will continue to. come along, who was their first round. pick this year. Another first round. pick, Lovelin. Obviously, a lot of. people made a lot of noise because we. ended up with Tyler Warren, but I think. he'll be he'll be just as good. Like, he's unbelievable. You got to be a good. blocker to play at Michigan, win the. national championship, but you never saw. his receiving skills when he was in. college. And I think we're just kind of. getting to the surface of that as well. And then we know who DJ Moore is. You. know, a couple more touchdowns for him. yesterday, but Caleb Williams, I. couldn't be more impressed in what he's. doing. And then the defensive side of.
the ball, >> Dennis Allen. And I gotta give a shout. out to Al Harris, too, because. everywhere he goes, that secondary plays. better and better. And Deshawn Wright, this guy was on Minnesota's practice. squad last year. Now he's tied with his. teammate Kevin Byer leading the National. Football League. And that's an. unbelievable interception right there. He said he had some wide receiver in his. background. Actually gave Antonio Brown, Tony totap a shout out for this play. But unbelievable play. And you mentioned. it when you It's not just the offense or. just the defense. It's we always talk. about teams taking on the identity of.
their coach and kind of playing. complimentary football and winning these. close ball games and they've been doing. it all year long. Man, Caleb Williams. already has the the franchise record. with fourth quarter comebacks. Like I. can't say enough about the Chicago Bears. team. >> I think they had a lot of injuries as. well. This isn't like the full Chicago. Bears team. And I have a chance to talk. to obviously multiple Chicago Bears. fans. ZTO is living a high life. I. assume they are very excited. He's. getting stakes every Sunday because the. Chicago Bears are getting big time wins. We also have another friend who lives in.
Los Angeles but is a diehard Chicago. Bears fan. Just the amount of We're only. getting better. Well, we're getting guys. back healthy. We don't even have any. linebackers in the moment. We're only. getting better at this time. They feel. like, hey, we've been waiting a long. long time. And once you start to see. those little sparks, little sparks of. that offense looking like Jared Goff and. Caleb looking like Jared Goff, it's. like, man, what he Ben and Jared were. able to do. >> versus adding what Caleb can do into. that with Ben Johnson knowing what Caleb. can do. So now now you got this type of. [ __ ] happening and he's the head coach.
of the team, so he's not leaving. So you. can't you can't you don't have to be. like scared that uh we're going to have. massive success here with a young. quarterback and he's going to be gone. because that's what happens with good. offensive coordinators. They end up. leaving. Ben Johnson leaves Detroit, goes to Chicago. So, they could. potentially only grow and grow and grow. Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes type [ __ ]. And I don't want to like get cart before. horse, but that's very real, I think, at. this point. >> No, their offense with their weapons is. awesome. You guys talked about it and. you talked about DJ Moore. Everybody. knows DJ Moore except for the Steelers. uh defense that just let him run. straight down the seam uncovered. Um, but like it they have guys at literally.
every single position. You talk about. Lovelin like Coette's still there too. and and the wide receivers that they. have and now with Manungi they have two. backs and the O line is incredible but. yeah the the defense all their. linebackers were out and then what. Jaylen Johnson's been out for a while. they they have another starting guy in. the secondary who's been out for a. while. When they get all those guys back. they're only going to get better and. they're winning games right now and. learning how to win games right now. So. that's that is really really a good. thing for them. >> Yeah. I uh Hey, good for Chicago. >> Yeah, I'm leaving. >> Good for Chicago. And Caleb is going to.
be a guy, right? We're all on that boat. >> Absolutely. >> I was I was always never You were He was. >> You were You are You very much were I. was I was on boat like, "Hey, Caleb's. >> Caleb's a guy. Caleb's a guy. Caleb's a. guy.". >> And then I saw Ben Johnson and heard. stories about Ben Johnson. And then I. saw the way it started and I was like, "Oh, this might not this might not work. out here for Caleb in Chicago. It might. be another one of those stories of a guy. having to find another home and then. finding the right spot and doing his.
thing." And then the thought of Caleb. just completely being able to transform. how he thinks in a season and then it. being very much on display like you can. literally just kind of watch it unfold. in front of us. It's like oh no they're. only going to get better in this entire. thing. I think it's a big look out from. the Chicago Bears to everybody. Yeah. Now we're just talking about the Rams. >> The Rams and McVey Stafford and McVey. are on like year what eight of this now? Seven. >> something like that. seven and eight to. this offense being what it is, you know,
and they add Devonte. It's like that's. what you're thinking here with the. Bears. It's like they're only if Ben and. Caleb are together. The other pieces. around it are like, "Okay, we this is. sustainable. This is like kind of. sustainable. >> and people are going to want to go. there." You know what I mean? People are. going to want to go to Chicago. Like the. first thing you look at, you know, free. agency obviously after money is like, "Okay, how how's the quarterback? Do I. have a chance to win? How's the head. coach? Do do I like the culture?" and. everything we're seeing has been great. and we all heard a lot of things from. Caleb Williams saw a lot of things or.
people around his camp you hear. different things and it's like okay Ben. Johnson because we all know how the. personalities have to mesh so I I think. that was a big question for a lot of. people and I don't know maybe it's more. I see like behind the scenes or like. miked up where it's like okay I didn't. expect certain things from Caleb. Williams that I'm seeing now and we all. know he had the talent but it's so much. more than talent that goes into it and. he feels like he has all those things as. well. >> and yet Yesterday everything was on. script. Like we know him for his. offscript stuff. He didn't do any of. that yesterday. Now that could have been. because people were running wide open,
but like everything was off. >> So what's going on with you guys, buddy? Stealers. They stink. >> What? >> They stink. >> No, they're six and five. >> THAT'S A FUGAY. >> WHAT? >> THAT'S fool's gold. >> How about. >> easy? >> Don't get into fool's gold. Please don't. be doing that. >> It's one of my favorite movies. Matthew. BC. Uh, shout out. >> That's what we're talking about though. We are talking about two Macs on a line, babe. Uh Pittsburgh Steelers though, six. and five. There's been multiple years. now where the Pittsburgh Steelers have.
had successful records, good records, and Steelers fans have openly said into. microphones that people are listening to. and amongst the entire city and Steeler. fan base itself, this team ain't good. enough to win anything. This is fake. This is fake. That's how Steelers fans. feel. If it doesn't look like it can win. a Super Bowl, Steelers fans immediately. know. And they're looking for a reason. to talk [ __ ] about you. And that is kind. of where we've been with this Steelers. team for a few weeks. Certainly after. the way yesterday looks, it sounds like.
>> Yeah. And and the defense like the we. talked there was a month ago was like, "Oh, the defense is the worst." And then. there was three or four weeks where they. were getting getting better and then. they regressed. Yesterday, everybody was. riding running wide open. To those. Steelers fans that said Mason should be. the starting quarterback, you guys are. idiots. Okay. I just want to say that. out there. Uh I think Aaron probably. would have won the football game. yesterday, but no, it's just. everything's disjointed. >> We just showed Caleb throwing all those. seam routes and everything over the. middle. They don't throw over the middle. because there's a chance an interception. happens. Um and then third and five,
they just let wide receivers run wide. open at five yards because they're. afraid of getting beat for something. worse. Like it's like you play the. safest brand of football imaginable. because that's how you try to you try to. win football games. That's not how you. win football games these days. >> Yeah. It's also tough to watch as a fan. if you told I I had a coach tell me. we're just trying to get one point more. than the other team. >> Exactly. That's. >> Can we try to get 30 more than the other. team? That'd be a lot better. I It would. be a lot better life for all of us if we. were trying to do that. But that is a. mindset. Hey, we play winning football. We play winning football. It should work.
out while the Bears are playing winning. football. >> They're above 500. >> It's six and five. >> Could be worse. >> Tied tied for first division. >> Still tied for the lead. >> Got it. Got it. The Ravens. Yeah, they. didn't play their best game and get a. win, but. You guys got it. GO TO THE PLAYOFFS. >> THE Bucks were like six and five when. they won the Super Bowl, right, with. Brady in that first year. >> That's right. >> So, we can still do it. >> That's right. >> Good point. >> Here we go. >> Think about the Giants story back in the. game or if they're going to fire. >> Nine and seven and they won the Super. Bowl. >> Boom. >> Hope I hate it.
>> Especially when you're watching this. team, it looks like. Yeah, cuz he hasn't. had it for a few weeks, hasn't he? >> No. >> No. >> And the fan that he was talking about. being an idiot was himself. >> Yeah. >> That's the thing that just happened, right? That's good accountability. And. even when they had it, the Ravens were. still favored to win the division. Remember, we're all like, "What the hell. is going on?". >> Yeah. 48 lead or something. >> Yeah. >> Sports like. >> full Gates. >> Yeah, this team stinks. >> That's really what they were saying. All. right, let's move on to the next. headline, shall we, ladies and. gentlemen? Number three coming out of.
the week 12 NFL SUNDAY SLATE. ALTHOUGH. NOT ALL THESE teams won, okay, there. were some super duper special teams, wasn't there? There were some magical. things that happened around. How about. Evan McFersonson, money mack of the. Cincinnati Bengals? They would go on to. lose to the Patriots by six, but. McFersonson would hit a 63. in Cincinnati in November. A lot of long. sleeves on obviously out and around. there. Cold time. Cincinnati obviously. very windy. 63 just becoming like a. casual day. >> in the NFL these days. Congrats to him. Let's continue with the long balls. Will.
Riker here from the Vikings out of. Alabama as we all recall. He has four. kicks of 59 yards or plus this season. That's the most ever. And that was one. in Lambo. That thing hooked at the end. He played the wind beautifully. This kid. seemingly money from everywhere. The. Vikings would go on to lose to the Green. Bay Packers, but it was still a great. kick. Great kick. >> He scored all their points and that was. kind of, you know, like I mean it's. massive when you have a struggling. offense like that when you can. confidently put a guy out there and say.
like, "Hey, this guy, he will be good. from 59 to 60." So, yeah. I mean he was. their he was the best player on the. field for them yesterday. >> and they have a dome so him doing that. in Lambo obviously good for him and nine. struggling nine struggling. >> he stinks unfortunately uh he needs a. little bit of help obviously and I don't. think it's right to put it all on him. but boy just we talked about it from. what they were last year to what they. look like this year I kind of I almost. feel bad for nine because they just they. have no chance to win when he's playing. really and I know he won a couple weeks.
ago but when he plays like he did. yesterday. [ __ ] they'd have a tough. time beating Michigan this year. So, >> well, Michigan's getting good. Obviously, big one this weekend. Ohio. State this weekend. Can't wait to be up. in Ann Arbor. Uh Hembo sent us some. stats here. Uh Justin Jefferson, uh. whenever he's being targeted under Kirk. Cousins had a 109.8. Sam Darnold 108.1. JJ McCarthy 47.4. I think that was rude. There was other quarterbacks, too. He. decided not to leave out like the past. >> Yeah. Joe Webb. >> Carson Ways that for context. as well.
>> Yeah, there's a lot of context he's. saying. And yeah, Hembo's got stats and. ideas and there's a lot of people saying. that about nine, but Will Riker, absolute dog. Let's go to a big time. return in a losing effort. Once again, it doesn't m doesn't matter. We. shouldn't talk about it. Chimare DK. takes one. >> 88 yards against the Seahawks. Now, there's not a lot to celebrate with the. Tennessee Titans, okay? Their brand kind. of stinks right now. Uh, nobody really. trusts ownership to make the right. decisions. They don't have a coach, but. they have a special moment here with.
Chimari taking it to the crib. And uh my. cause, my cleats, one of his friends who. passed away uh from uh cardiac arrest. had uh a foundation starter here, Kyle. Lur memorial fund and raising money in. that front. So him running with his. friend literally on his feet, I think. was a very cool moment. That's a sweet. moment. Obviously Dixon doesn't love it. The punter for Seattle, he hits a. monster ball, comes back, but that was a. cool moment. Like as I learned the. story, I almost got like pretty. emotional about it cuz there's not a lot. going right for Tennessee. That going. right felt like it was a little bit of a.
a thing. Congrats to him. That's big. time return. >> Let's go to another big ball. How about. Jake Bates in a winning effort. >> from the Detroit Football Lions, the. brand new Lions. Look at this kick from. the back here. The old Lions, this ball. would not be going in. >> New Lions, the brand new Lions, this. ball goes in. Look at the snap. Great. hold. Phenomenal by Fox WHO SLICE. Come back home.
>> 59 Y. Now that is the perfect depiction. of the old Lions verse the new Lions. >> Amen. >> Old Lions that thing hits the upright at. least and doesn't go in. New Lions that. thing kind of sneaks in. Doesn't even. touch the uprights cuz they don't want. to celebrate or ruin the moment. 59. yards here from the greatest UXFL Super. Duper Football League alum in the. history of the league without a doubt. >> What a stud there. He's former uh super. duper Detroit uh Michigan Panther. There.
it is to the USFL. >> They're doing good over there. Hey, come. on. One more balls better. >> What are they cranking up? >> I think there's there's a new league. coming. >> Do they pay their QBs? Maybe. >> the Michigan Panthers NO LONGER EXIST. >> WHAT? >> YEAH, I'm sorry to say that. Didn't they. fire all the GMs in? >> They did. There will be one man who. oversees all of the uh football ops. essentially for the league. >> So, they're kind of going back to what. the original X was. >> Correct. >> Yeah. They need to put the X back into. football. >> This guy's got it figured out. I'm sure. of it. Let's go to the last one.
>> Play it. Actually, >> let's go to the highlight of all the. highlights. A special teams highlight. that needs to be watched for all of. time. 5 minutes left. Tie game. Fourth. quarter. Got to come out and punt. Returner catches it on his one. Thank. you, sir, for doing that. Now we have a. CHANCE OF COVERAGE. OH [ __ ] FUMBLE. LONG SNAPPER ON THE BALL. FIRST AND GOAL. FROM THE SIX. EVERYONE'S DOWN 21 POINTS. NOW IN THE FOURTH QUARTER ON A SPECIAL. TEAMS PLAY. A SPECIAL PLAY HAPPENS.
Looking to Elijah Clark. Now, it's been. shown a thousand times. We feel. obligated to show it once again because. there is a point that I have verse other. people. As I was watching this highlight. take place, they were showing Elijah. Clark's effort here as Cydney Brown. pushes him around. Great effort by. Sydney Brown, too. Anytime you get a. body on the floor on a return, that's. good news. ELIJAH CLARK REFUSED TO BE. DENIED. CONTINUED TO CHASE, CONTINUE TO. FOLLOW. HEY, HELMET TO THE BALL. FUMBLE. LIAR. GO AHEAD AND TRY TO GET SOME. POINTS. NOW, that type of effort, it.
cannot be taught. That type of effort. only comes from the soul of an absolute. dog. Elijah Clark is everything that is. great with football, with special teams. football. As I'm watching it, as a. former punter, I'm thinking to myself, "Yes, this is the man or 10 of the dudes. that we need." And I appreciate the fact. that the entire NFL world, even the. folks that weren't a part of special. teams were like, "Hey, the reason why. you should be respecting what's going. on, this guy was the best football.
player everywhere he's ever been. Elijah. Clark walks onto the field. Holy hell, Elijah Clark's here." I assume since. he's like eighth grade. I assume since. like eth, seventh, eighth grade, he's. been the best player on the field. Then. he gets to the NFL. Hey, the way you're. going to make this team is by playing. something you've never played before. You're going to have to run blindly down. the field and try to cover somebody. How. far is the run? Well, Angger's got a. huge leg. So maybe 60, 70 yard run. And. then all of a sudden, you're going to. have to go across the field. And then. what else is going to happen? Well, you're going to get blindsided, push, and then there's going to be people. trying to get you out of there. Yeah, but so what's the end game? Well, maybe.
you might possibly make the tackle. Only. one person can make the tackle, but. hopefully you'll be able to do it. So. for him, superstar to buy into that and. all the other guys that buy into special. teams, it's the backbone of what. football is, which is why we try to save. special teams at every single turn. There's a lot of guys that only have. jobs because of special teams. There's a. lot of football plays that get made that. are so special to football that if they. were to not exist anymore, it would hurt. the game. This is one of them. Elijah. Clark, absolute. dog.
God, give me that guy. Give me Could you. imagine this guy was your gunner and you. were a punter? It would be amazing. indeed. But I think we were talking. about this earlier. This is being shown. by uh everybody. >> This would be shown in every special. teams, probably team meeting rooms. because you mentioned a large chunk of. of the roster. This is how you make. teams. This is how you stay in the. league. And for me, honestly, I wasn't. cut out for this [ __ ] I was not made. for special teams. And I realized that. very early on uh in my NFL career. Fortunately, I was drafted high enough.
to where I could sabotage some of these. special teams drills early and kind of. get buried on all the bottom of the. gunner depth chart. So, I did do what. Sydney Brown's done doing and I did do. some returning early on. But this [ __ ]. right here, like there's football games, you can play 50 snaps on defense, one. special teams rep, like a punt rep or a. kickoff rep, old kickoff rep, old. kickoff rep. those reps probably like 12. to 14 defensive snaps as far as the. physical and mental tolls it takes on. you because it is every guy out there is.
it feels like they're battling for their. job in their NFL and their professional. life and it's just a different breed and. this was a perfect example of that and. this was a winning play. I know it was. very very nice of you to show all those. great efforts from those losing teams. but this is an unbelievable play and a. winning effort for a winning team. Great. It was a winning effort, but. obviously they don't do anything with. it. They go for four four times. They. don't get a turnover on down. Thanks for. ruining it. But it was Hey, >> unbelievable. >> Unbelievable. >> Yes. >> Which goes to the number two headline,
>> ladies and gentlemen. The Cowboys. >> Mhm. >> Comeback corrals the Eagles. A lot of. different ways to use the Cwords in this. particular title. We landed on this one. The Cowboys comeback corrals the Eagles. strictly because it was uh Philadelphia. Eagles night. It was there. Jaylen Herz. is boopping around scoring touchdowns. AJ Shoes and Cleats look so awesome out. there. Devonte's making big time plays. Sirani is living the high life down in. Jerry World. Hello and welcome to the.
show. We are your Super Bowl champions. That's what it felt like. There were. shots of Dak on the sideline taking his. helmet off. And I actually thought to. myself, maybe Dak isn't the guy that. we've been talking about. I remember. just a week ago, we're talking about the. Dallas Cowboys holding Dak back. Yeah. You know, the conversation was always, is Dak holding back the Cowboys? How. come nobody's ever talked about the. Cowboys holding Dak back? That's where. we were. And I watch the beginning of. this game. I'm like, what an idiot I. was. >> That is not what it IS AT ALL. BOOM. FAST FORWARD TO RIGHT BEFORE THE HALF. Dak Prescott, George Pickkins, what a. trade this was by Jerry Jones. Now,
whenever DK Mechaf goes to Pittsburgh, we wondered if GP and DK were going to. be able to eat on the same offense. They. were not. George Pickkins goes to. Dallas, changes up his entire trajectory. of his entire career on a contract year. Not only that, touchdown. Let's go to. 2114 in the fourth. GEORGE PICKKINS. SPECTACULAR CATCH, WHICH IS KIND OF WHAT. HE DOES. THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT HE DOES. HE'LL GO up and get it. He's fast. He. has great football IQ. And he feels like. he's at home with the Dallas Cowboys.
And Jerry Jones is at the stage of life. where he just calls him George. You. know, we're very happy about George. Now, you know who else is HAPPY ABOUT. GEORGE? DAK PRESCOTT. FOURTH QUARTER. 2114. AH, JOHN ELWAY. Let me land on my. neck and go absolutely apeshit here at. Jerry World. 212 21 Eagles can answer. There are Super Bowl champs. JAYLEN HERZ. MAKES SOMETHING HAPPEN. SAQUON BARKLEY. MVP. OH NO. FUMBLE.
>> Dallas Cowboys recover. Now what are. they going to do WITH IT? NOTHING. NOW. THEY PUNT. SEND IT DOWN. WE JUST WATCHED. THIS. ELIJAH CLARK SAYS, "DON'T worry. about it, Dak. Don't worry about it, boys. HE'LL CATCH THE PUNT AT THE ONE. Xavier Gibson, who is a very talented. returner. Bad decision here, leads to a. WORSE OUTCOME. DALLAS COWBOYS GET IT. FIRST AND GOAL on the seven in the. fourth quarter. 5 minutes left in the. four. Oh my gosh. They were down 21. All. we need is Dak TO JUST DO SOMETHING.
FOURTH AND GOAL. DAK PRESCOTT AT shotgun. from the one and a half. Scanning. throwing short. Not going to do it. Turnover on downs. Holy hell. How do you. not get something done? Well, don't. worry about it. Eagles won't either. Third and two, sacked by OSA. >> Odigi Zua, >> friend of the program. Got paid. Absolute beast. Huge play. The Cowboys. get the ball back. Dak Prescott hits a. couple. Then he finds George Pickkins. once again to get into field goal range.
And Brandon Aubrey, is he from the USFL? >> I think he's just from the streets. Actually, I think he's from the football. gods, Brandon Aubrey. He missed a kick. earlier in the game. We were all very. confused. He's gotten to that point. where if he misses, we have no idea what. the hell's going on. We all assumed he. was going to make the game winner. He. did. Congrats to the Cowboys getting a. huge win after seemingly a historic. collapse by the Philadelphia Eagles. Debbut, your talking point from this.
game, Dak and Dallas, very durable and. tough or Philadelphia Eagles. this. exactly who we thought they were. >> Uh, a little bit of both. I still have. uh the utmost faith in the Philadelphia. Eagles to figure it out. But for the. Cowboys to come out there, be down. You. know, Shotty said it after the game. Yeah, we might have spotted him 21. You. can't win in the game any other quarter. but the fourth quarter. And that's what. the Cowboys did. Dak Prescott has been. dominant, especially at home against his. divisional opponents. He's been. unbelievable. And to go out, we talked. about uh championship defenses coming.
into this game. This is what we felt. about the Eagles, and I still think. they'll figure it out. But George. Pickkins, man, him coming over here and. the way that they use him in this. offense compared to what they used how. they used him in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh, he was basically just a shot guy at the. X. Now he's running across the middle. He's getting matched up on slot. defenders. He's on the outside, he's on. the inside. And right now, he's wide. receiver one in Dallas. And I think. after this season, it looks like he's. probably be the highest paid wide. receiver in the National Football. League. I don't know if it'll be in. Dallas because of what they paid to CD,
but he is that type of talent. He's just. unbelievable. go-to guy that you can. throw the ball anywhere around and three. is going to come down with it. >> Yeah, you talk about three need money. Well, Jerry will figure that out, won't. he, Ty? >> Yeah, I think it's time we maybe give. Jerry a little bit of credit. You know, people have been killing him all year. But I think this is one of the rare. instances where you look at the Micah. Parsons trade and like both teams won. that trade. Packers got what they. needed. Cowboys early on this year, maybe not so much, but it enabled Jerry. to kind of go and get Quinnon Williams. and their their defense. I mean, we knew.
what their offense was very early on. this year. It was, hey, Cowboys are. going to have to score 50 points a game. to win. And, you know, now after the. trade deadline, they have some of those. pieces in place. And, uh, I think Jerry. knew all along like, hey, there there is. a way that I can kind of remake this. team during the, you know, during the. season. And people can keep talking. about Micah, you know, and how how big. of a mistake that was. >> He's unbelievable. He is. But I think. you could also argue that the Cowboys. probably are better off, you know, without him with the guys they brought. in. So, yeah. Yeah, I mean if if you're.
looking at everything right now, I I I. think the Cowboys are one of those teams. where like you don't want to play them. right now with how their defense is. playing. We know what their offense can. do and we'll see what happens on. Thursday. That's a massive game. >> Hair looks amazing. Con man, I'll let. you know. I saw it there. It was. shining. It was glistening. It looks. unbelievable. Uh Cowboys might be for. real and I know. >> that sports media fans don't love that. And we might fall in sports media world. 21 point comeback the way they do it. shot. He's wearing a backward visor in. the in the thing afterwards. And George. Pickkins making these plays week in and.
week out. It's like. >> nine for nine. >> Nine targets, nine catches. >> Filthy. >> Stafford started what? 11 for 11 last. 12. Outrageous. All right. Number one. Go. ahead. >> I was just going to say I think there's. also something very real about like. playing for something bigger than. everything with like after Marshon. Neland passed away like you saw late in. the game they're waving his flag. We saw. what happened against the Raiders. like. that can galvanize an entire state. almost, you know, and like Cowboys. Nation and I think that's exactly what's. happened. >> Yeah. And you can also I mean obviously.
that certainly perspective and we're in. this thing together for our guy here. Uh. but also whenever Micah gets traded. away, they're told they're trash. >> Yeah, exactly. >> Basically told me. >> that could be a lot of bunker mentality. down there in Dallas. And the number one. headline, >> I don't like it cuz we know what this is. supposed to be. >> Okay. Every time we've done this after a. Colts win, number one has been the Colts. are going to win the Super Bowl. Well, turns out, maybe not. Chiefs is still a Chiefs. And uh lot of.
flags in this game, you know, we got a. lot of them. A lot of good calls. A lot. of good calls. I I put out a tweet, a. lot of flags. A lot of flags is what I. said. And I got a lot of people saying, "But who's getting the calls?" It's. like, we were actually getting the calls. in Kansas City against Kansas City. I. think that is something that should be. talked about, but then we weren't too at. at times. Tough to watch this game. Tough to watch this game, especially. early if you're a Colts fan. It looks. easy. Michael Pitman Jr. takes a couple. hits. Daniel Jones delivers some dimes. How you doing? We're having a good time. 73. Let's go ahead and get it back. Well, Ashton Doolan actually guy you.
probably never heard of. Stud for us. Great on special teams. Oh, yeah. And a. weapon with his speed. Yeah. He's going. to go for about 30 40 50. And then we're. going to throw it to 6'5 265B Ogal tree. who has the sweet feet. It's 143 in. Kansas City. GOT TONY RAMO TELLING ME. THIS IS DEFCON 10 for the Kansas City. Chiefs. Let's go to 20 to9 fourth. quarter. You're up 11 against the. Chiefs. Oh, Kareem Hunt. He's going to. score a touchdown. >> That's okay. It's all right. They're.
going to do that. A two-point conversion. now to make it a three-point game. Just. got to get a stop. Oh, he's wing. >> Now, listen. They weren't even able to. do their play they were doing against us. the entire game, WHICH IS JUST CROSSING. ROUTES. THESE DUDES WERE JUST RUNNING, CROSSING ROUTES. WE COULDN'T KEEP UP. WITH THEM. WE SEE RICE GOING ONE WAY. XAVIER WORTHY GOING THE OTHER WAY. Rasheed Rice going one way. XAVIER. WORTHY GOING THE THIS IS ALL THEY DID. THE WHOLE GAME. THE WHOLE GAME. MOONEY. SAUCE. We got them. We got two corners. Well, they're in track meets cuz they're.
trying to keep up with some of the. fastest guys in the league running. across the field. And Patrick Mahomes. and the boys get a field goal to tie it. We get the ball first. Zire Franklin. wins the toss. Takes the ball first. Tony Romo immediately points out why he. wouldn't do that. But I think I'm a ball. first type guy. We go three and out. What does Pat Mahomes do? Well, just. like he did at the end of the fourth. quarter. Worthy crossing around. I mean, it's just every time. Every time. That's. all. And here's RASHEED RICE. GUESS. WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN FROM THE. OTHER SIDE OF THE [ __ ] FIELD. THAT'S.
ALL THEY DID THE WHOLE TIME. THEY JUST. DID IT THE WHOLE TIME. IT'S VERY obvious. like early like, "Oh [ __ ] we're not. going to be able to keep UP WITH THESE. GUYS." THEY HAVE TRACK stars running. across the field and it's like this is. what Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs. team can be whenever they have healthy. and explosive weapons. I think that's. what they've shown in the past. Feels. like the Colts ran into that. Harrison. Bucker not only hits the game tire that. the game tire that he kicked uh kicked. at the end of the fourth quarter. >> They got the ball like their four yard. line. >> Yep. >> And they drove that thing for 4 minutes. and 30 seconds right down the field.
against us. And then they kicked that. game tire and then obviously we knew. once they got the ball in overtime up. here we go again. Pat Mahomes and the. Chiefs are still the Chiefs. Joining us. now, ladies and gentlemen, to wrap up. this first 15 is an absolute legend, a. Michigan man in the NFL insider that we. call every week to let us know what the. hell's going on, Adam Sheffy. >> Gentlemen, what's going on? >> Chefy, thank you for hanging out with. us. Let's hit some things that we. weren't able to cover. Baker Mayfield AC. sprain joint. That is what it came. Did. he come into the game with that or did. it happen last night? Feels like he was.
doing this often and early. >> Yeah. No, he's been banged up this year. I don't know exactly what was wrong. going into the game, but I've been told. that he had been pretty banged up all. season long, more so than I think people. realized. Last night, obviously, that. shoulder got worse, whether it was the. same injury, aggravate, or whatever it. was. He went down there, they took. X-rays, no fracture, nothing. structurally wrong. Now, he's going for. the MRI in about a half hour, 30 minutes. from now, and that should tell more. But.
the way it was told to me, they're not. ready to rule him out Sunday, which. again, you see him go down there, you. see him grabbing his shoulder, I'm. thinking like, well, how many weeks is. this going to be? He's on the sidelines. in street clothes in a sling. Like, it. looks like it's a multiple week injury. to me. But in speaking to them today, they say they're not ready to rule him. out for Sunday. And they think there's a. chance he could wind up playing. We'll. see what happens with the MRI. >> We know Baker Mayfield just like a Ram. truck. He's damn tough. I mean that is.
just a matter of fact and it felt like. he was doing that early last night. That's why I thought maybe came into. something. Uh and uh they wouldn't let. him play if there was any structural. damage. So it felt like a sprain in. there. Incredibly painful. Obviously. Baker's tough. We hope we get a chance. to see him tough outing. Speaking of. tough outings, let's talk about New. England's win yesterday. >> Yeah, Shifty. Left tackle Will Campbell. and left guard Jared Wilson both hurt. Will Campbell knee, Jared Wilson ankle. What are we looking at as far as timets. and are both these guys going to. hopefully be able to come back?
>> Yeah, I think well Rael today talked. about the fact that they don't he. doesn't think it's season ending. And I. think if you look at the schedule, I. wouldn't expect that either player would. play a week from tonight against the New. York Giants on Monday Night Football, but the Patriots have their buy in week. 14, the week after. So, I think at the. very least you give these guys, they. don't play Monday, they get the bye-week. off, and then you're re-evaluating them. in two weeks to see whether or not they. can get back out there. It sounds like. it's going to be a little bit longer on.
Will Campbell. We'll see how it all. shakes out. Not a great uh day for the. left side of the Patriots offensive. line, but again, doesn't sound like it's. longterm for either player. >> Okay, we're happy to hear that, especially because those are two young. guys in that team obviously up and to. the right. Let's talk about a little bit. of an older gent. The oldest gent. actually. Go ahead, Tom. >> Yeah, Shifty. Aaron Rogers. Obviously, that left wrist. Uh, we saw him. practicing last week before the Bears. game. I was told he took all the first. team reps on Friday for the Pittsburgh. Steelers and then he does not go on. Sunday. Who's this? I was it a doctor's.
decision? Cuz we were told Aaron wanted. to go. What was the situation there? >> Well, my understanding was that Aaron. did want to play. He was pushing to play. all week long and that the doctors were. obviously more cautious and guarded. I. think ultimately in the end the doctors. and Mike Tomlin make the call about. whether or not he's going to go and they. decided on Saturday to hold him out of. the game. Some of the players didn't. know until Sunday pregame exactly what. was going to happen. But they made the. decision on Saturday to start Mason.
Rudolph and they also made it sound like. they think Rogers could be back this. upcoming week. It sounds like that is. real possible that he has a real. possibility of playing on Sunday. They. need him back. They lost yesterday. you. know, he's really impressed them this. year. Just the way he's carried himself, his toughness, the whole thing. And I. would think that he is back this week. >> Man, the landlord definitely wanted to. go back home maybe for one last trip. Uh. we'll be excited to see what ends up. happening for the rest of the season for. the Pittsburgh Steelers and his career. You know what ends? Tough loss to.
Chicago Bears who might be for real. Let's talk about somebody for real being. out next week and the week following and. the week following and the week. following. Moves in Las Vegas. Go ahead, Debb. Yeah, Chip Kelly came over from. the Ohio State Buckeyes after winning. national championship. Highest paid. coordinator now fired for the Las Vegas. Raiders. I just want to know, is Pete. Carol safe after this season? What are. your thoughts and vibes going on in. Vegas right now? >> Look, well, Pete Carol's never fired an. assistant coach in season in his entire.
time in Seattle. And now they fired two. different coordinators here in about two. plus weeks. They fired their special. teams coach and now they fired Chip. Kelly last night. I I look I think it's. clear like nobody seems to be safe right. now out there on the coaching staff. I. think everything's up in the air. I. think the season has not gone the way. that a lot of people would have hoped. It's been disappointing in a lot of. different ways. I you lose to the Browns.
at home like that, give up 10 sacks, everything's going to be called into. question. >> Let's talk about the Browns. Kevin. Stfansky kind of Why do you do that? Why. don't you just come out and say, "Hey, this is cool.". >> I'm out. I'm out. I'll. >> tell you why. >> Why don't you just say this is his first. rookie since when? To win? >> 1995 to win their debut for the Browns. >> And I know he didn't go for 300 or. whatever. And stats are we're trying to. find, you know, it's hard to find all. that, but still at quarterback, the. position, the vibe to win a game like. that, especially for Cleveland. Now. granted, he's saying a lot of things. that people are like, "Relax, okay? You.
need to, but that's not Shadore." Like, that is not what Shadore is. which could. be exactly what Cleveland Browns need, which is actually what he said in his. pregame interview. Before his first. start, he's getting interviewed. Okay, I. don't even know how that would happen. A. fifth round pick, a fresh rookie. quarterback. Right before his first ever. start, he's getting a pregame interview. I don't know if that's ever happened for. anybody ever before or would ever happen. again. And she goes, "What are you. trying to prove or show here to your. fans, your team, and everything? I'm who. they've been waiting for." Or something. like that. It's like, WHAT A [ __ ] BAR. RIGHT THERE before you go out there. Now, I'm not saying they're going to go.
undefeated with him. I'm not saying. they're going to win next week. What I. am saying though is felt like Stfansky. just there wasn't a single moment of. like, yeah, we that was a good moment. for our team. Why is that? A lot of. people are wondering that, Chefy. >> Yeah. Well, I listen, I I think and I. know a lot of people are up in arms with. the way Kevin Stfansky has treated. Shador Sanders. I think he's been. quietly supportive behind the scenes. Like he's worked with him every single. day. He supports there there's it's this. is not a personal thing. People saying, "Well, why didn't he name him the.
starter after the game?" Well, how about. how about like, >> does anybody think Shadur is not going. to start this week? I think we all do, but give the head coach some time to go. back, look at the film, talk to the. staff, talk to the players. How about. letting Dylan Gabriel know, hey, we're. going to take another look at Shador. this week before you announce it to the. press after the like there's little. steps that you have to follow. Everybody. wanted him to be anointed right after. the game. And I can't imagine that he. wouldn't start this upcoming week. That. to me would be a surprise considering.
that they won the game. He played well. Little bit of momentum. Nice to see. You. saw Miles Garrett's reaction there to. that long pass. That might have been the. first long pass he's seen in Cleveland. in the last decade. I mean, he was like, "Oh my god, that's what happens when you. complete a long pass. Wow. Exciting.". So, I think he starts, but I don't think. Kevin Spans had to come out and say that. after the game yesterday. >> All right. All right. I appreciate you. You're the best. We'll talk to you uh. tomorrow, baby. Ladies and gentlemen, senior NFL insider for ESPN, Adam Chef.
>> All right, we're back on the other side. >> But it is great to be down here in. Tatown, Alabama. Now, let's do a little. history here, shall we? This is uh. what's your name? >> Gabby. >> Gabby, you're a senior here, right? >> That's correct. >> And what is your major? >> Chemical engineering. >> Okay. Okay. Uh have you ever kicked anything. before? No. >> Okay. But you said you want to do it, not get somebody ELSE BECAUSE. >> BECAUSE I CAMPED out for so many hours.
with my friend and I got lucky enough to. get picked. So, LET'S GO FOR IT. >> YES. >> YES. >> ALL RIGHT. >> WE LOVE THAT, GABBY. $300,000 if you. make this kick right here, Gabby. Okay. >> Oh my gosh. >> That seems fair. >> I don't know what a chemical engineering. degree costs, but hopefully that'll help. towards it all. >> My parents above that. Okay, >> I'll throw in 200 AS WELL. >> HE THROWED TWO $500,000.
>> All right, GABBY. >> OKAY, >> GOOD LUCK. WE'RE PULLING FOR YOU. 33. YARDS. ALL you got to do is make the. kick. Good luck, Gabby. >> Okay. Any final thoughts? >> I love you, Mom and Dad. And brother, >> LOVE THAT. Mom and dad. Hope you have a. good time. Ladies and gentlemen, Gabby. Matthysse, chemical engineer, senior. here AT ALABAMA, WILL ATTEMPT TO WIN. 500,000. It's come to this, huh? It's come to. this.
>> It's come to this. >> Yeah, this Why'd you smack me in the. face? Kirk just smacked me in the face. How about this? How about this, Gabby? If Kirk Herbstre can throw that football. through those uprights right there, we'll give you $300,000. >> Are you okay with that? >> 300,000. If Kirk Hry CAN THROW IT. THROUGH THOSE UPRIGHTS, FORMER OHIO. STATE QUARTERBACK. >> NO warm up. Full suit for Deb.
Get it. Get it. Get. >> All right. It's getting even more pricey. Kirk Herb. Street, I DID NOT KNOW YOU HAD THAT IN. YOU. You son of a [ __ ].
>> Oh, that's great. The following program is a collection of. students talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic, informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any.
further. Hey Dwine, let's go. >> This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. >> McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers. >> You. stutter. Damn it. >> Be a friend. Tell a friend something. nice could change their life.
sport. >> Hello, beautiful people and welcome back. to our humble boat. The Thunderdome on. this magical overreaction Monday, November 24th, 2025. Hour two of the. program begins now. >> Football is the greatest. We're lucky to. talk about it. And obviously the Sunday. slate for the week 12 NFL season was. spectacular. a few overtime games, a. massive comeback, some super duper. special special teams, which is. obviously amazing. And uh tonight, week.
12 wraps up in Santa Clara, California, as the San Francisco 49ers will host the. Carolina Panthers as 7 and a half point. favorites. Now, this Carolina team's. young and good. Yeah. >> And we say young because we don't know. any of them really. You know, like Bryce. Young, he gets drafted into the NFL out. of Alabama. This guy's the Steph Curry. of football. He's got an incredible. sense of feel and his explosive plays. are outrageous. Then he comes in a. little, you look small, he gets beat up. and they stink. >> And everybody says, "This guy is not.
going to be able to be good." He. actually gets benched at one point. Andy. Dalton goes in. Then Bryce Young last. year goes back in after watching Andy. Dalton, maybe getting a refresh button, reset button with Canales as the head. coach and a play caller. Before that was. at Tampa with Baker Mayfield, did what. he did. And Bryce Young and them have. kind of built a culture. They've kind of. built an identity and they've got wins. that none of us really would have. expected getting seven and a half points. against a San Francisco 49ers team that. is obviously one week removed from Brock. Prody coming back and putting on an.
absolute clinic with all the weapons. that they have. Defense is without Bosa. and Fred Warner, but. still been able to kind of halt people. whenever they need to. The Niners could. potentially go on to win a Super Bowl. this year. They got money in a lot of. different places. tough injuries, but. still a lot of money in a lot of. different places, especially ones that. you need. George KD, we can obviously. assume that he'll be dancing tonight in. the paint. And then Juice, we'll assume. he'll be doing some stuff. Christian. McCaffrey will be explosive. The San. Francisco 49ers team go win. >> Sure. >> Mhm. >> We found out tonight if they can handle. the Carolina Panthers and his Carolina.
Panthers team could tell the world. tonight. >> We're actually a real team. >> We're not the joke that you guys thought. we have been. We're not the team whose. owner is throwing ice on people anymore. where the owner who on his drive to work. local stores are using their signs to. say terrible things about we're not that. team anymore. We are a team where our. owner actually donated the entire. stadium and everything to hurricane. relief fund. He actually tries to take. care of the community. Now he's giving. back, got staying hands off for football. thing. We got a a general manager Dan. Morgan.
>> who I don't think he's blinked since. becoming the Carolina Panthers general. manager, former linebacker for Miami. Okay. Yes. DU is where he was a. linebacker at he has not shut his eyes. one time until this Carolina Panther. team could be a team that he would like. to say I'm the one who put this. together. Canales the head coach he's. doing his thing. They are a team. >> So are the ners obviously talks tables. here at Boston Conor and that's Schmidt. one half of the hammer cowboys AP Tony's. here. What was that stat about 60% of. the bets and what's everybody seeing.
tonight? Yeah, teams this weekend uh. that were getting 60% or more of the. bets against the spread were 27 and one. And tonight uh the Niners. >> against the spread. >> Yes, against the spread. Sorry. Uh. tonight the Niners would fall into that. category. They're at 61 62% somewhere. around there. >> Nine-year NFL vet Darius J. Butler. Your. thoughts on the numbers we just heard? >> And it's not just 27 and1 this week, D. >> Yeah, it's been feels like almost like. we're getting worse, which I don't love. But, uh, I think it's going to be I. think we're we're in for a banger.
tonight. It's a big game for both of. these teams. Obviously, both the winning. records fighting for the Yeah. to get. kind of obviously after the Rams, what. they did, the Niners got to stay in. contention with that NFC West. So, I. think we're we're due for a banger. tonight. >> The Irish, >> you had 130 or 140 last week. >> He He's got a hilarious catch radius. This guy, he is fun to watch. And Bryce. Young, everything they said about him. turns out if he's not just getting. crushed every play. He does He does. operate an offense pretty pretty damn.
good in his armtown special. >> Crazy how that works. >> And they move into first place in the. division if they win. >> and the NFC South. >> Yeah, >> that's right. >> Banged up Baker. >> Oh. >> yeah. >> Seven and a half. >> The time is now. >> That feels like a lot of points. Joining. us now, ladies and gentlemen, is a man. who's a college football national. champion, Super Bowl champion, Ryder Cup. winner, massive Dan Morgan fan. Ladies. and gentlemen, AJ Hawk. Hey, >> you're right. I am a massive Dan Morgan. fan. Have been for a long time. It's no.
surprise that he has Carolina kind of. rolling in the right direction. >> Yeah, it feels like he's got a culture. in place. Rico D also very explosive. weapon uh in the back field. Let's talk. about the San Francisco 49ers team. though. We just saw Brock and we. actually had a train. I think the last. time we did this was like the Brock. Party train is back and everybody's. happy, you know, and it's like Shanahan. was in there doing his thing. the rest. of the offense was behind him and it's. like this is why Brock Party got paid a. couple hundred million dollars to play. quarterback in this system. Yes, people. have been good with Shanahan. Brock Pury.
seemingly better than everybody else cuz. his decision-making, his ball placement, everything about him screams and. radiates a Shanahan offense and then, you know, we immediately see seven and a. half points with a shiny new object AND. WE GO, "WHOA, WAIT A MINUTE. I LIKE this. Carolina Panthers team. I don't know if. a lot of people know about this Carolina. Panthers team." What are your thoughts. on tonight's game as we wrap up week 12. of the NFL slate? >> I mean, you're right. Pertie does. Party. and kiddo obviously have a great. connection with juice check and then you. you throw CMC in there. Yeah, their.
offense is definitely something that uh. it's not easy to stop, but I don't know. like seven and a half definitely feels. like a lot. I feel like Carolina people. have I don't know is it a recency bias. of like the last couple years or they. just don't they don't think that. Carolina and Bryce Young can uh can get. it done. But I mean, Ted McMillan, that. guy has been awesome all year long. Like. you said, Dowel, I uh I'm going to have. a hard time here with this one tonight. I don't know which way I'm leaning, but. I'm probably leaning Carolina if I had. to tell you right now. >> Okay, that's good news. Uh cuz you are. seeing it right now. I don't know if you. know this. We talked about this in the.
first hour. 93 and one on weekend. >> Wow. >> I was glad to turn on the program and. see this. I was glad that I I really. didn't know. I wasn't sure. I thought I. could have had it was one of those games. with all the the spreads were so big. It. was one of those weeks where I Who knows. which way it goes. Yeah, it was a great. Sunday slate though. Had a couple. overtime games. Obviously the massive. comeback. Let's talk about the Dallas. Cowboys Philadelphia Eagles from your. perspective. Obviously that Dallas. Cowboys defense just turns off the host. Just says, "Nope, I don't think so. anymore." What an impressive bunch of. stops that they had obviously late. And.
then Philadelphia Eagles are are we. >> tough to play with a lead, man. It's. tough to play with a lead, I guess, huh? >> Is it? I don't know. like it'd be cool. to be able to do that, but I do know. whenever some of these stats come out, and I'm not saying now that uh 21 zip is. outrageous in this state of college. football, it does feel like we're. getting bigger comebacks than maybe ever. before because the talent level on the. offensive side and the rules maybe in. the style of game and everything like. that, but there's always these stats. that come out like teams that were in. this position were 4,000 and one or.
whatever. It's like it's not like. sometimes whenever we see these big. leads, it's like the reason why it's. such a big deal is because normally. these teams win. Philadelphia Eagles. feel like a team that should win a game. whenever they're up 21 nothing, especially against a rival, especially. at this time of the year. Thanksgiving. is in three days. Happy Thanksgiving. week, everybody. Happy Thanksgiving. >> So, it's like you would think that this. team would be able to put a team away, especially with who they are. I mean, this team is the Super Bowl champs. This. team is the Philadelphia Eagles. They're. expected to do their thing. multiple MVP.
type conversations, multiple number one. wide receivers, a defense that has been. menacing to everybody for the last. couple years with Vic Fangio on the call. and then they just seemingly collapse. age. And you have to wonder and I don't. like doing this. There's so much drama. in this team, man. So much drama. So. once that thing starts going the other. way, like is there enough to like kind. of stop it and go the other way? You. know what I mean, AJ? Like I I don't. love all the [ __ ] that goes on with. their team just in general. I think it's. too much distraction for to win. football, but they won a Super Bowl in.
the middle of it all. So, it's like they. kind of debunk all that, but it is like. all that drama at some point it shows. up. I'm not saying yesterday, but maybe. it was yesterday. You know, >> this play right here. Gez, that play. right there was gigantic. Unbelievable. Way to way to retrace and track him down. and just a beautiful punch on the ball. There's not not a whole lot Saquon could. do about that. >> Okay, so on the play, but how about on. the entirety of the Philadelphia Eagles? AJ, I just talked bad. Yeah. Yeah. >> I get I get I get I get distracted by. great defensive plays and these Cowboys. were doing it the second half offense.
defense especially and special teams. We. know that it's a full team. Here we go. Fle remember a couple weeks ago talked. about him showing signs of life on the. sidelines and getting all jacked up. Like I think he's starting to feel it a. little bit right now. >> Okay. So you're more pro Cowboys than. Eagles worried is what it says. >> Eagles are a weird situation. Like it is. a weird thing. And when the Cowboys went. down and scored right before half, you're thinking like, all right, uh, you. know, now we going into half, even. though you have a 21-7 lead, the. momentum has kind of flipped to the. other team, to the home squad. And I. think Dak is a great like, uh, you know,
calming influence that makes plays. But. this Eagles team, I don't know. I don't. I don't fully get it. Maybe they feed. off the chaos, the drama, all that, but. at some point, I guess it gets to like a. tipping point to where you can't really. I don't know. You just don't find a way. to win games like this that you should. win. >> Exactly. And when you win, by the way, it all just kind of, ah, they're. winning. We even say it like, hey, they. got all this [ __ ] going on that nobody. else really has going on. >> Doesn't matter. >> They're winning. And they're the Super. Bowl champs. They can do whatever. Obviously, you lose this one, especially. up 21, it's going to grow a little bit. It's going to get louder. But if they.
were to lose a couple games in a row, it'd be like, is this team lost it? Whatever it was, that worries me. We've. seen teams in the past have locker room. struggles and completely change it. And. I'm not going to speak uh from anything. other than my own experiences as a fan. The Indiana Pacers, okay, they're. playing the Heels. You remember those. days? >> Oh, yeah. >> That whole team. >> Yep. >> I mean, everybody on that team, Roy, Paul, Lance, George. I mean, you just. you go through that roster. They were. awesome to watch. Awesome to watch.
Something happens. Still don't know. I I. I outside locker room do not know. Something definitely happened in locker. room. >> Team that everybody's gone, never. happens again. Personal something. happened in in the locker room with. either disagreements or not liking or. something like that. It's like that. locker room is there ever going to be. sympotical, you know, and I think you. need that, but they proved I guess last. year that you don't need that, but it's. like I think you need like uh I think. you need high morale amongst the boys, especially in a long ass NFL season.
Yeah. And that's why I guess they can. just say we won last year with this type. of stuff happening, but it's always loud. over there and and I don't I don't know. how they operate within it to be honest. >> Yeah, you definitely got to like each. other. I just hate how much I guess we. know or we hear about what's going on in. the locker room. I think Jason Kelsey. may have came out this past weekend or. maybe it was an older podcast something. he recorded, but he talked about how he. kind of fell out with Lane Johnson. I. think they didn't speak for like an. entire off seasonason. They're like damn. near brothers. So like [ __ ] like that. happens. Everybody's not going to be. best friends every day. But this is a.
team that has been the two Super Bowl in. the last three or four years. So, we're. we're, you know, sitting here, you know, towards Thanksgiving where, hey, this is. where teams kind of start to show who. they are down the stretch. And I still. think we're going to see this from the. Eagles because of the talent they have. But very similar to like Steelers fans. and they can look at their team and look. at the record and know, okay, that is. either winning football or it's not. Same with the Eagles. Like when Saquon, you got a 21point lead and he has 10. carries for 22 yards. Like that's.
insane. He hasn't been running the ball. well this entire season. Like until they. find their stride there. I think Jaylen. Herz, he can throw the ball. AJ Brown. can be great. Devonte Smith can be. great. But that's kind of the backbone. of who they are. We're going to out. physical you up front. We're going to. play great defense and then we're going. to hit explosive plays when we need to. And they haven't been doing that. But. they still been winning games up to this. point. I'm still, you know, I still have. the utmost confidence in the Eagles down. the stretch. >> Okay. I don't know if I do anymore. Just. I don't know. I love their team. I. appreciate the fact that they're able to. somehow remain focused with all this.
[ __ ] always happening around them and. they were they're a Super Bowl champ for. a reason. There's some stats coming out. now. Lane Johnson remember planer fascia. uh I believe sprain which is the lining. of your foot I believe it's very painful. since 2013 when he plays 120 62 and one. he doesn't play 15 25. So going back to. your point about running ball and. everything like that whenever they have. a great offensive line which they had. obviously last year best in the league. they can win they do a lot of damage. This year without Lane Johnson doesn't. work. And what is Landon's last name? >> Uh, it is Dickerson with a D.
>> Yeah. >> Why? Why do you ask? >> No, I just didn't know. I I I've been. hearing different things. I I just I I. What a moment. >> Immediate sweating of the mouth. >> Oh yeah, >> I believe. Immediate immediate sweating. of the mouth. Probably couple drips. Never saw that guy sweat one time. playing football. >> Nope. >> It didn't seem always perfect. Mhm. >> I assume when that happened there was at. least one or two. There was just kind of. moistness coming up here. The mouth just. Oh my god. That's it. That's it.
Oh, you see his name? Oh, let's move along and hope he doesn't get. on camera again. Let's just keep it. moving. >> Landon Dickerson. >> Mhm. >> Hell of a player. >> Oh, yeah. >> Hell. >> Hell of a football player. Eagles led. 2100. uh and lost outright to the. Cowboys. Obviously, you saw this. analytics. I don't know what any of this. means. I don't know what any of this. means. It's hard for me to tell, you. know. I guess it just goes from like at.
this point of a game when a team was up. like this much, this is what the outcome. was and then it kind of changes. So, to. your. >> to your point about uh Yeah. Duh. >> Thanks. >> In history, if you're leading by this. much with this much time left, here's. your odds to win. >> Here's the percentage. All right. Joining us now is a man who might have. the stats. We don't know. >> Maybe. >> He's an Emmy award winner. >> That's right. Ladies and gentlemen, a. man who knows everything about. everywhere. Peter Shreger. >> Hey, good haircut. I think you cut it a. little bit shorter. It looks good. You.
looked very spry on TV this morning, brother. >> I cleaned it up a little bit and I knew. I was coming on your show, so I made. sure I got pretty, baby. Let's. >> Oh, get pretty. I like that. We. appreciate that. Obviously, we're. talking about the Philadelphia Eagles. right now. Obviously, Dallas Cowboys, incredible comeback. Wow. >> We saw the graphic, man. They a little. no chance here whenever that was how it. was. 21 nothing or whatever. not able to. really do much until right before half. when George Bacon scores a touchdown. But the Dallas Cowboys could be all the. way back. They got a road. They got a. path. And Jerry Jones believes they can. make the playoffs. I assume they do as. well. Happy for Shotty, happy for Dak.
What a comeback win. For the. Philadelphia Eagles, though, it's just. so loud all the time. They thrive in. that. Like that's kind of AJ's take. AJ's like, maybe they thrive in the. chaos. Maybe they need the con the. controversy and maybe that's just how. that job is. Do we think that's weighing. into anything that's happening with. their team? or do we strictly believe. maybe that like Pulla maybe doesn't uh. understand what he needs to do as much. It's his first year as offensive. coordinator. How do you kind of view the. Philadelphia Eagles and what we saw. yesterday and what we're seeing as a. whole with them? >> Yeah, you can't take away those wins. that they've had. So, those are in their.
back pocket and those are over the Rams. and over the Bucks and over the Cowboys. one time, but then the Chiefs and. Arrowhead and the Packers in Lambo. So, like those are in their back pocket, but. it's fair to question what the hell is. going on with the offense. They were up. 21 nothing and it's like all right. they're on all cylinders gone since that. point yesterday. They only totaled 107. yards and they never advanced past the. Cowboys 38 yard line. They had three. three and outs. They fumbled the ball. They missed a field goal and they. committed so many penalties. And here's.
what I'll say about Kevin Patulo. He. comes from that Frank Reich tree. He. comes there from Nick Serriani. What? >> When he was with Phil Rivers and they. were with the Colts, they used to throw. the ball all over the yard and Sirani. and Reich likes to throw the ball. They. used to do motion. They used to You're. not seeing any of it. You're seeing. basically can AJ and Devonte go. one-on-one? Can they make their plays? Can Seaquin break a tackle? And that's. the off like this is not a guy who just.
woke up and was handed the job here. This is a guy who's had a career. learning about offenses and designing. offenses. And I don't think it's. necessarily by design that this is the. offense that it is. It seems like maybe. this is what he thinks is their best. chance to win given what they've got at. the quarterback spot and what they've. got going with offense. Like trust me, he knows how to do all the stuff that we. see, all the bells and whistles. They're. not even trying it. So that's the red. flag to me. Like why not give this. offense a chance to do something. creative? Why not give this offense a.
chance to run some of the exotic stuff. that his offenses have run before? Yeah, it feels like it's very loud around that. offense uh mostly. But Philly, maybe. this is how the Jons operate down there. And we know Nick Serriani is the guy. that can handle it all, right? Last year. there was AJ Brown chatter. There was. other conversation when they won the. Super Bowl. Two wide receivers were the. ones dumping the Gatorade. I think that. sends a big message as does every. cryptic tweet that AJ Brown puts out. >> Yeah. >> Serriiani and. >> Big Dom. >> Exactly. >> People are saying Big Dom needs to take.
Pull down there to a local spot and not. bring him back. Yeah. That's what. they're saying. >> Whoa. Seeing that, >> I saw a couple tweets from people. They're like, "What does Big Dom. actually do? Is he Is he trying to take. care of the Eagles? Well, why doesn't he. take care of Pulla then?" And that could. potentially be something for the good of. the entire city. You saw Tom playing. catch with AJ Brown. >> Yes. >> You see, he was two feet away from Tom. >> Who was that? >> Big. >> I was like, "Of course." I was watching. I'm like, "Of course. Big Dom. orchestrated this entire thing.". >> Making sure not giving away information. >> Was playing catcher. >> He's got some of the organ ducking.
>> That should be against the rules. >> I was going to say that's a bit of a. conflict of interest. still looks good. >> Yeah, he does. He said it was nice to. see it come out of hand, you know, a. little bit actually whenever he was. talking about it. >> AJ Brown also noted uh huge Patriots fan. growing up. So, I assume this was like a. childhood memory moment for AJ Brown. >> And I'm sure AJ Brown thought of some. cryptic tweets to put out while he was. playing catch with Tom or some other. people did at least as soon as they saw. this go, "Oh no, this means postgame.". It was nice in warm-ups to be able to. catch a wellthrown football. You know, SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THAT'S ALL I.
THOUGHT OF. THAT'S ALL I THOUGHT OF WHEN. I was watching. And I'm like, "Oh no, Big Dawn better get to the bottom of. that." Also, why is Big D? Of course, Big Dom's here. People in Philly are. saying, "Big Dawn, let's go ahead and. not just, >> you know, play a little hanky panky with. Tom Brady. Let's also maybe go over to. Pulo and say, "Hey, we need to go get. some uh. >> let's go get some Mozaro, you know. Let's go see uh. >> got some cinder blocks to move. >> Let's go see." You do actually. >> Yeah. >> All right, let's move along. Philadelphia Eagles, interesting spot. AJ has a question for you, Shregs. >> Shrekes, what about the the Rams and. Matthew Stafford? We know that you.
you're tied into that whole. organization, that franchise, Shawn. McVey, what do you think? Like, are they. playing their best ball? Are they Are we. about to see this team get even better? Because Matt Stafford looks very. healthy, very comfortable. Obviously, Puka, the weapons, Devonte, what's your. outlook for this this Rams team right. now? >> You just hope they're not peaking too. early. What they're doing right now is a. historic historic, you know, run through. the NFL. Listen to this stat I got. today. Uh they have not trailed since. first quarter of the Baltimore game. That's five games and three quarters.
since they've been behind by any points. at all. And that's against five teams. that are currently in the playoffs. The. Ravens, the Jags, the Saints, the. Niners, the Seahawks, the Bucks. They. don't trail. Uh Stafford, you saw 25. touchdowns, zero interceptions is the. pace he's on right now. He's got 30 and2. on the year. And Devonte Adams seems to. be going into the time machine and looks. as good as he's ever looked. Then you go. to the defensive side of the ball and. they're menaces. They they were all over. Baker Mayfield and Teddy Bridgewwater. last night. And I tweeted today about.
Emanuel Forbes, who is a guy that, you. know, Ron Rivera took in the first round. in Washington and was released by the. Commanders. Meanwhile, yesterday, he had. seven targets at him and there were zero. passes completed. Emanuel Forbes is. playing like he's one of the best. corners in all of football right now. This team is working on all cylinders. And then you get thicker, the kicker, who they had in yesterday. This guy. doesn't miss either. So now you've got. all three facets and you've got your. special teams issues of seemingly taken. care of. I don't know AJ, I look at it,
it's like you just don't want to peak. too soon because they're doing. everything you could possibly want to. do. It just might be a little too early. right now. >> I guess I don't know if you're needing. me or not if you're looking for a. response or not, but I feel like you. could peak too soon. Just stay healthy. If you can find a way to keep your key. guys healthy, you're going to be fine. Shrikes, >> look at that. We were just doing that. was TV. That was TV. Pat, we tried. >> Yeah. No, he said to my name. >> I thought so. I thought Yeah, I thought. he was trying to throw it over to you. there. AJ said, "Listen, I agree with. everything you said." I agree with.
everything you're saying. Yeah. But it. is it's fascinating. Shout out to. Harrison Beas. Uh I think he went to. Missouri if I do recall obviously. throughout college became thicker the. thicker kicker kicker the thicker. whatever it is cuz he's big lad. He's a. big lad. >> Pure swings yesterday. Pure ball flight. Yeah. >> Wearing number 92. >> Respect. I don't like that McFate did. that to him or or whatever the case was, but we're talking like smooth smooth. ball flight and uh I'm happy for him. I'm also happy for Matthew Stafford and. we talked about in the first hour. You. might know a little bit more.
>> I listen. >> what was that super duper trailer park. thing you went into there. >> Immortal. >> Yeah. What is that? What is the. immortal? Do you know. >> that was from training camp and everyone. was making jokes like, "All right, what's going to happen with this thing? I think the sales have to be going up. 10fold since the way he started the. season." I have no idea what that thing. is. I will tell you this. I was hosting. Get Up in late August and the debate we. were having was should should the Rams. go with Jimmy Garopppolo to start the. season over Matthew Stafford and it was. a legitimate debate because we hadn't. seen Stafford take the field yet and it.
was like do you put a guy in and then. Collinssworth last night it's like you. know I'm not going to do a Collinsworth. impression but basically Collinsworth. was saying they weren't sure. >> Could you though do you have one on our. back you know let me try this. >> let me close my eyes let me try to. >> because I remember him talking about it. I think you remember talking about. >> and you ask Matthew about it and he. says, you know, we start getting at this. thing. I I'll give it a shot. I'll try. And sure enough, here we are in week 12. He's having a career year at 37. Yeah, that that was good. >> Mute TV.
>> I didn't hear it. I didn't hear it. Did. it come through for YOU GUYS? >> YEAH. 500 BROADCAST. >> I don't know if I heard it. But yeah, you're right. Collinssworth did talk. about it. I do recall him chatting about. especially with the back position at the. age that he was. There was a lot of. questions. We were talking about the. immortal trailer as well at the time. because he was supposed to come back and. then he wasn't. Then he was supposed to. be in pads. He was in shorts and it was. like wait a minute this seems a little. bit scary and I think at that point they. didn't really know either what was going. to happen because it is the battle. You. don't really know. >> Talking to those guys there was not a. not it wasn't arrogance but it was a bit.
of like dude like relax it's August he's. 37 just he'll be fine. And then it got. to like week two of the preseason, then. week three of the preseason. And I'm. talking to to to McVey in the front. office, like those are the guys, and. they're like, "Just calm down. Like, we're good. We're good." And so, they. had the utmost confidence. And yet, you. know, I think it's fair to question when. a quarterback doesn't take a single rep. during practice in July and August, and. they did the inner camp scrimmages with. the with the Cowboys. And from all all. anyone who was there was saying was. Jimmy G looked amazing. It was like, do.
you start the season with Jimmy G? sounds so crazy now because Stafford is. the runaway MVP and looks better than he. ever has. It's almost a commercial for. everyone saying take July and August off. as long as you're, you know, like you. don't don't yourself out in training. camp. >> Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. Waste of. conversation, but it's always good to. have the conversation, especially if. it's all we have at the moment, which is. what we do in the middle of training. camp. That Matthew Stafford then carried. us for a couple weeks, too. Without a. doubt. >> I mean, we were we were looking into. that entirety because we have so much. respect. We were very worried. I was. very worried especially with how old he.
is his back. >> and yeah we've seen other guys. especially with the back golf you know. we just saw it with LeBron yeah all. these the back is always one that's like. kind of unpredictable them having the. confidence he's going to come back and. then talking about how he's playing it's. like better than ever and he's got. Devonte Adams who can just shake and. have a two-way go and then he's the. runaway MVP favorite you said it's kind. of clear at this point and then he has. the number one scoring defense in the. NFL only giving up 16.3 points per It's. like what are the.
>> I think I think the uh Oh, Hembo. Hello. The biggest differential between like. interceptions and touchdowns in a season. was Aaron Rogers in 2020. What's up, Ty? He went 48 touchdowns, five. interceptions. Stafford right now is 30. touchdowns, two interceptions, and he. can maybe make that. And the one common. thread between those, Dvonte Adams was. the receiver for both those guys. >> Yeah. And Devonte said he's having fun. playing football. How could you not? You. got to shake a guy and score a.
touchdown. Sound good? Yep. We'll do. that all damn night. And Matthew. Stafford never misses. Okay, let's talk. about another quarterback who obviously. we all love. Go ahead, Debb. >> Yeah, I feel like everything we're. talking about with the Rams right now, we probably expected to be talking about. with the Ravens kind of coming into the. season. Maybe Lamar being an MVP. favorite. Maybe this team dominate on. both sides of the ball, but that's not. been the case. Know they got a win. against the Jets sitting at six and five. right now. probably going to win that. division, but what's your thoughts on. the Ravens right now and kind of how. it's going to play out for them down the.
stretch? Sorry. >> I think I think Da like Bellich used to. say like the season starts at. Thanksgiving. It really does for the. Ravens. They're right there obviously. with the Steelers and if they win the. division, they get in the tournament. But if they are to make a run, look at. this stretch they have coming up. They. got the Bengals and Joe Burrow this. weekend, Thanksgiving night, obviously. national TV. Then they play Pittsburgh, Cincinnati again, then New England, then. at Green Bay at Pittsburgh. So, it's. almost too soon for us to make a. judgment on the 2025 Ravens in week 12.
when you've got that slate. Again, Bengals twice, Steelers twice, Patriots, Packers in the Packers game in Lambo on. on December 27th. So, to me, it's like. I've seen the teams get hot and go on. the run. I've followed the 07 Giants. when they went as a six seed and they. won it all. I saw the 2010 Packers with. AJ Hawk go on as a six seed, win it all. Like this could be that team. They're. going to maybe win the division. That. might be how they get in either way. >> Biggest eye roll of all time from AJ on.
this back wall. >> He didn't like that. So you even compare. them? >> No, I think he just he didn't know that. you were going to mention them, I think. So he it wasn't an eye roll. It was more. of like a side look and it was on this. back wall here. Foxy, can you show the. back wall? It was perfect for us. I I. don't think he expected to do cuz that. Giants team always gets talked about. Mhm. >> But did I not even give you the name. mention? Like I didn't just say like the. two 2010 Packers. I I gave you that. love, too. I said Ryan Grant. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Oh, yeah. You're right. You know, T, you. know it all. I was not I didn't roll my. eyes. I don't know what it looked like, but yeah. I appreciate it.
>> I think you're surprised that you. mentioned him. I think he was very. surprised that you mentioned him is what. I I would say. We obviously AJ's AJ's. got a look, you know, to him. So, whenever that changes, especially. whenever Hold on. You just talked about. our team out of nowhere. That team never. gets talked about in this conversation. traits ever. >> Yeah, one of the hottest teams ever was. that Packers team that came roaring down. the stretch and then obviously won the. Super Bowl in Dallas. That's what the. Ravens, if the Ravens make the playoffs, they're gonna have to go through this. gauntlet and win these games. So, we're. going to all be high on the Ravens. And. if they don't win their division, it's.
because they couldn't get it done and. they couldn't make it in. But, they're. probably not making it as a wild card. They're going to make it in as a. division winner. So, I say all that, the. season hasn't even really begun for. them. And Lamar's health is a real. question. the fact that he had 30 yards. rushing, the fact that he can't, you. know, do what he's used to do right now. and now the the the grind of the. December is about to hit and the grind. of January is about to hit. Does he. suddenly find that step? I don't know. So, it's going to be really interesting. to see what version of them we get over.
these next few weeks. And I do not take. Thursday night with Joe Burrow coming. into Mnt lightly. I think Joe Burrow. coming off the injury, playing against. them on national television is something. that I would be seriously concerned. about if I'm a Ravens fan. That news has. broke. Joe Burrow will be playing on. Thanksgiving against the Baltimore. Ravens. We're talking about AFC North. Magic to cap off a beautiful. Thanksgiving. Let's talk about the AFC a. little bit more. Go ahead, Tone. >> Yes, you talked about the Ravens and. maybe not making it as a wild card. And. for the last few years, it's it's been. Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, AFC. You're like,
"All right, one of them is going to win. it." The Chiefs, even after their win. yesterday, are still ranked 10th in the. AFC. How many teams in the AFC do you. think could actually win the AFC? because I believe it's the most wide. open it's been in probably a decade. >> Yeah. It's like the guys we know from. the the the last few years and then. these upstarts. So take those first four. or those first, you know, one, three, two, and five. Is anyone really picking, you know, and I say this Boston Connor. with you, not trying to insult you and.
Pat with the Colts, whatever, but it's. like. >> if if it's Chiefs at Colts in the. wildard round like we had yesterday, like if it's at Colts, we didn't have. that yesterday. Okay. They were in. Kansas City. They were not in the. lighthouse. They were not in the line. And I want to let you know, I do think. it changed the game a little bit. Okay. I do think maybe being out there in. Kansas City at the home of the. >> I think it's a little different than a. loud house, but go ahead. And you to. your point say.
>> just you look at that it's like all. right so we've got Patriots as say they. are the one seed and in the divisional. round. we got the Bills at the Patriots and. they get another shot at that you know. and it's a third time they bet you that. I bet you the Bills are favored in that. game if Josh Allen's walking in there or. it's Lamar Jackson going out to LA to. play the Chargers after some of the. losses the Chargers have had like. whether or not the stats are there the. numbers are there I think the Lamar. Jackson factor would give the Ravens the. favorite. So, it's this fascinating.
season of the guys we know, those three. quarterbacks, uh, of course, those three. teams that are there and they're banging. on the door every year and then you've. got these upstarts and it's like, okay, Bon Knicks, we love what we saw against. the Chiefs. We love what that defense. does. We love everything about it, but. when the rubber hits the road and it's. January football, is it what we know in. our back pocket, the Chiefs, the Bills, the Ravens, or is it this team that's. been doing everything right, but are. they ready to make that moment happen. this year, year number two in the.
playoffs? >> And you're talking about um obviously. the AFC right now. Ty actually had a. point that we talked about during the. break about uh teams this year with. quarterback stuff. Go. What was your. thoughts about if you have an elite. defense? Yeah, basically I I think this. is one of the years like one of the rare. years where like now obviously the the. Rams would maybe buck this trend a. little bit, but I don't think you. necessarily have to have an elite. quarterback to win the Super Bowl this. year. I think we look at all the teams. up there that we're talking about as. legitimate Super Bowl contenders. And. >> Drake is elite. >> Yeah, for sure. For sure. But it's it's.
the defenses this year. Like teams with. unbelievable defenses are the ones that. we're talking about week in week out and. with this much parody. teams who have. defenses that are that good, like. they're going to be in every single game. and then it's just a matter of can a guy. like Bo Nicks have his best game of the. year when we already know what the. defense is going to do. >> Yeah. I I think it's such a great point. In 2025, every rule is built for the. offense and to score points. And yet, two teams in particular, Denver and. Houston, have built their teams around.
defense and said, "All right, we got,". and I talk to Payton all the time. I. talked to Vance Joseph on my podcast. last week. They have Mahomes twice a. year. Mahomes owned them for years. It. is no accident that they spent all their. money in free agency over the past few. years on bringing in Zack Allen and. bringing in, you know, Hufanga and. bringing in Dre Green Law and then of. course drafting Jottie Baron despite the. fact they already have Patrick Span. Like that's what you do to beat Mahomes. You have to build your team to beat. Mahomes. Then you go to Houston, you've. got Nick Cacerio there as the GM. They.
draft CJ Strad trades up to get Will. Anderson. And then you look at what they. did on the defensive side of the ball, whether it be bringing in Denil Hunter. or drafting Derek Stingley when there. was obviously needs on offense, taking. him third overall. Like, these are moves. that are made that are very intentional. and saying, despite the league being. telling us that, hey, air rate offense. and have 50 touchdowns from your. quarterback and score, score, score. Let's flip it on its head. Let's be the. team that you got to beat and you got to. beat us every single way because our. defense is that good. That's the Broncos. and the Bills. I'll be fascinated to.
sorry, the Broncos and the Texans. I'll. be fascinated to see if those two teams. can do it the whole stretch of the way. and then maybe find themselves playing. in San Francisco this this February. >> Another team you didn't mention there, Colts invested a lot on defensive side, including two first round draft picks in. the future. And then Pat Mahomes needs a. four and a half minute drive and he gets. it just no problem at all just right. down there and then he gets ball back in. and he does it. So, you know, learning. lessons as we get to and through. meaningful football as you were saying. everything you were saying and Ty was. saying what he was saying. Duda who. played nine years in the NFL uh on the.
defensive side of the ball goes. need a uh. >> you're gonna need it and look defense. need the quarterback. >> you definitely need a defense as well. but you're going to need. >> I mean elite it's only what three or. four probably elite quarterbacks but. you're going to need one of those guys. when it comes down to it's it's all good. on November 24th when we're looking at. standards and saying okay these are. teams but somebody's going to have to. take that st is it going to be Drake is. it going to be Bo is it going to be one. of these guys who step up and have an. elite run like Joe Flacker or somebody.
like that in the playoffs, but you're. going to need elite quarterback play in. the playoffs to get that chip for sure. >> On that note, on that note, Connor, congratulations. Drake May feels like. one of those guys. Need one of those. guys to do it. All of the different. traits that you would need to be a guy. Feels like Drake has. And don't look. now. >> I got a text from the Miz yesterday. >> Uh oh, Shador. >> He's saying he's thinking maybe Brown's. in the playoffs this year. Go ahead, Conrad. this year. Mitch said, "I did the math.". This is during the game. He's at the.
game. He lives in Vegas. He's at the. game. He's texting me during the game. I. did the math. I think we could still. make the playoffs this year. This is how. this should have been from the beginning. is how they feel. Go ahead, Con. >> Yeah. Hard not to feel that way after. watching him complete 11 passes. Shriggs, what do you think about the. Browns and Shador? Can they even go back. to Gabriel at this point? It feels like. no. Especially while Gabriel was. playing, everybody was just asking him. like, "Hey, can you even throw the ball. 20 yards down the field?" And then. Shador completes a 53 yard pass in a.
bucket. Um, what do you think about that. situation as a whole? And, uh, what do. you think about Stfansky? People are. kind of getting loud about his whole. kind of demeanor as a head football. coach. >> They have announced that he is starting. It has been announced that he is. starting per sources, I do believe, which is good. >> That's what I was going to roll with. And I think it's very it's you stole my. thunder. No, I just WANTED HEY, THIS. THIS is new news cuz we were actually. talking with Chef about like, hey, how. come he didn't come out and say that. after the game? So, this news being. reported that it is being started, it's.
like I just wanted you to know that. That's on me. I apologize. >> It's fair. No, thank you. Um the the. thing is this, it's like it's such a. sensitive topic obviously and we could. do all the different podcasts, everything that you know, Shador is like. such a lightning rod here. Here's where. you could look at it. One, the team. never looked as alive and as fired up as. they did yesterday. Miles Garrett, their. top their top player was was was like so. supportive. Isaiah Bond on this pass. That's a perfect pass. You could also. say he had a horrible interception in. this game that was like ill advised.
Still took a while to get the ball out. and that the Raiders are bad. So you. look at it one of two ways. I'm going to. go with the former here. I'm going to. say let's take it for what it was. The. team looked awesome. They looked fired. up and he made this pass and then the. Samson screen pass that goes for 50. yards on this one. YOU COULD SAY, "WELL, IT WAS just. >> you could say you could make the comment. that he didn't do anything in this. play." Guess what? He ran the offense. and they had to do it and they got it. done. That said, Raiders defense is. atrocious. And I'm not taking it away. from Shadore, but I like the fact he did.
it on the Raiders who passed over him. seven different times in the NFL draft. Seven different times. The Raiders felt. that they were better off without Shador. Sanders despite being connected there. for so many months leading into the. draft. Uh, he found a way. He's going to. start and he's going to go up against. the Niners and we could keep on doing. this. What aboutism? What aboutism? Let's not do that. He did it yesterday. He won the game and he looked good and. that pass to Bond is as good as any of. the the Browns have completed all season. long. >> Actually better. Yeah. So that that's. the best ball that they've had in uh two. decades they said actually. So.
>> forgot bomb was there. >> certainly mean exactly as he catch I'm. like oh yeah very fast. I'm happy. they're using them. That's good news. And uh to your point about the energy, it's like. >> just real. >> caring at all about a Cleveland Browns. game felt good for me. Just just caring. at all about what the outcome was. And. then him getting a and we talked about. this in the first hour and you're an. onfield reporter uh like. >> pretty regularly at this point. >> No, that was a gift to Tiffany Blackman, but go on because he was so good in. these interviews. >> Yes, he was afterwards, but also right.
before his first ever start as a fifth. round rookie. Somebody had to approve of. that, right? Like the Browns had to. approve of that happening and all of it. >> Get to interview the quarterback. Yeah. >> Starting quarterback. You got to get. >> Here's what he said before right before. his first. He's a fifth round draft. pick. I don't know if this is happening. anywhere else. >> Shador, you told us that this week felt. like you were getting back to normal. being a starting quarterback like you. have your whole career, but this is. going to be your first NFL start. What. does that opportunity feel like in this. moment? >> Feels good, but we cool. We cool calm.
collective. Like this ain't nothing to. us. And what do you hope to show against. this Raiders defense, your teammates, yourself, and these Browns fans with. your play today? >> I'm who they've been looking for. >> Walk off. >> Appreciate it. >> Thank you. Goodbye. >> What a hilarious line. Like even in that. moment like I'm I'm going to create this. is a clip here. This is something like. all that [ __ ] is not Cleveland Browns. like none of it. So it's like. >> the interest of. >> Yeah. If you're a Shador Sanders fan,
it's like thank god he's nothing like. what if. >> you're a fan of football. You don't want. anything to be what Cleveland Browns has. been. >> Amen. Miles Garrett has bought has seven. 18 sacks right now. 18 sacks. He leads. uh second by five. Uh he's outrageous. right now. So that has been good. football for the Cleveland Browns. Joe. Thomas got to his spot better than. anybody in the history of football. But. a lot of Cleveland Brown football is. shite football. So Shador bringing in. energy I think is a positive. But it was. hard to find like a lot of highlights to. run, you know. So he ran the same plays. over and over. It's his first start.
middle of the season. >> Not a good one to Judy if you know Judy. just kind of. >> Judy fumbled and he can't he can't. control who we played. Wasn't his fault. >> Like they were up against a Raiders. team. And by the way, Max Crosby's a. pretty good player and he was in his. face the whole game and their run. defense is pretty good. Like you can't. you can't fault him for playing against. a bad Raiders team. It's just who's on. the schedule and that same bad Raiders. team looked at his draft profile seven. different times and said we're good. We. don't want this guy. So I liked it from. him. Harold Fannon. Hello. >> beast. Yeah, absolute beast. You know,
there's another young quarterback that's. getting a lot of uh chatter about him. >> And I don't want to bring it up, Shakes. >> Oh, yeah. I have to. >> that Minnesota Vikings team. >> Yeah. >> I don't want to reiterate the point and. people are going to say we're echoing. ourselves, but it is such a good point. that it needs to be stated time and time. again that NFC was decided in the final. week by the Detroit Lions and Minnesota. Vikings. They're playing for the number. one overall se team back. Coordinator's.
back. Everything's back except for. quarterback. Quarterback is new. Who you. going with? Young guy. We drafted him. early for a reason. He got hurt. Doesn't. have a lot of reps, but we were going. all in around him. You got Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, Kurt Cousins. Um. >> Rogers was available. >> Aaron Rogers allegedly was waiting to. hear if they wanted him. Lot of. quarterbacks. Okay. A lot of. quarterbacks that wanted that position. because they know Kevin Oonnell's. offense. if you are able to get to your. drop step, there's somebody gonna be.
wide open and it might be Justin. Jefferson, the best wide receiver in all. of football. So, very fascinating how. it's all unraveling right now in how. nine is performing. He's also currently. in the uh concussion protocol that just. got announced uh via Aria Vera uh via. the team's I would assume website or. social media account. How do you kind of. view this entire nine situation with the. Vikings? Because obviously yesterday, Micah and Green Bay Packers defense did. their thing against them. Uh 59 52 yard.
field goals, half the points that they. scored the entire night. Um what are. your thoughts on the Vikings because. they're supposed to be in it I think. everybody thinks or thought going into. the season. Well, look, Jeff Hafley's. defense put on a show yesterday in a. fact that they had five net yards in the. second half and they were sacked five. times, had two interceptions, and then. both third and one and fourth and one in. the first half, big moments in the red. zone, like got stuffed it. That's the. game. And we're going to talk about it.
the rest of his career sadly until he. turns it around. But JJ McCarthy was. selected over Bo Knicks and he was in a. draft where there was other quarterbacks. who are having great success. Drake May, Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels last year. and Michael Pennix has shown flashes. So. you're in that draft class. That's one. bucket. Then the second bucket is the. guys that you chose him over. And. Darnold could have been franchise tagged. this year and McCarthy's salary is not. exuberant. They could have had both. those guys on the roster and they could. have said, "Let's run it back. We came.
up just short. Let's do it. You could. have also brought back Daniel Jones. You. could have entertained Rogers. And you. could have said to McCarthy, "We're. going to wait one more year until you. come off this injury. We're going to. see." Hindsight's 2020. Of course, we. forget how bad those eight days were for. Sam Darnold. Two of the worst. performances that have cost one man more. money in the history of the NFL than Sam. Darnold's last eight days as a Viking. The Sunday night loss and then the. Monday night loss where they lost to the. Rams in Arizona. where if we were to. have this conversation that Tuesday.
morning, and maybe we did, it was. probably 99% saying, "All right, it was. a nice story. It was a good ride. Sam. Darnold was fun for a year for the. Vikings, so we got to go to JJ.". >> No. No. >> I would have I WOULD HAVE SAID franchise. tag. Let's Let's split the baby. Let's. do it. Let's see if we can get one more. year here. Keep JJ, you know, in the. wings. And then year three, he's the guy. if Sam doesn't. But truth of the matter. is, they went all in on a draft pick. that they traded up for the year before, and they were banking on what their. pre-draft process was, the interviews, and the coaching that like Okonnell and.
Macau can get the best out of this guy. Well, not only has he been a. disappointment, but there's been health. issues this year, too. So, now you're. left with major question marks when. obviously they had maybe the best. quarterback room in football last year. Yeah, I understand what you're saying. about the end of Darnold's days and. Seahawks were obviously reaping the. benefit of Darnold going out there. Big. win over the Titans for them yesterday. and uh the Minnesota Vikings sitting in. a position where are they going to have. to admit something here? No. Right.
Can't. >> Well, no. Tell you what, if Max Bromer. gets a start, we're looking at a Brock. Pury situation. >> Yeah, look out. >> He is not turning that ball back over. >> I mean, there's chance, right? There's. >> no there is. That's I'm being dead. serious. >> There's absolutely. >> Tell Tone, tell me about him because I. got to be honest. I know the name, but. give us the little profile. >> Uh, he was an FCS all-American at New. Hampshire and then transferred to. Minnesota. Had a really good, uh, year. last year at Minnesota and then, you. know, came to the Vikings this year. He's. >> Well, >> can spin it or. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah, he can spin. >> He can run, too. What? >> No, not much of a runner. He's just more.
of a spinner. Okay. >> Okay. So, he can spin it. So, Kevin. Oonnell's offense, we're doing robot. stuff. Yeah. We're in here. We're doing. this entire thing. This could be a Brock. party situation. Could be. >> Yes. >> This could be a Brock party situation. they if they admit fault though like. that's isn't that a fireable offense for. the GM? Like you had this team that was. ready to be the best team in the NFC and. now all of a sudden it's just like I. mean that I don't know cuz I see a lot. of people putting KOC into that and I. don't think that I think that's you know. getting way ahead of your skis but like. if you're the GM you traded up to draft.
this guy you had everything kind of made. and you were ready to go. You again you. paid everybody on the defense. your. offense is kind of set with all the. weapons and then it was just like, yeah, you know what? Unfortunately, I [ __ ]. up the most important position in. sports. So, we're going to we're going. to try something else. >> And it's also how it looks. Like, we. were told it was going to look good. And. I agree like, okay, sure, they're not. going to win. >> I was lied to. Like, like I we all knew. they weren't going to win 14 games like. last year, but we were told it was going.
to call the better business. I were told. all training camp how great he was as. well. It's not as if we the expectation. I think is also what has killed nine in. the sense of how bad it looks because. during training camp and all these. people were coming on and saying like. hey nine's great. They're real confident. in JJ McCarthy right now. And maybe they. were in training camp because he was. playing against you know high school. football defenses but it just looks. abysmal. Like there's no hope.
>> There's a couple good throws there. Not. yesterday. There wasn't. >> behind the line of scrimmage. Maybe. >> I will say this. I just looked Bromer's. first start next week. They have at. Seattle. So, that would be tough. But. >> Oh, that'd be easy defense. >> Well, if you're the GM, that's a good. move then. >> Can't protect Max Bromer. Got to throw. it out there. >> Yeah. Throw this guy in and then you can. say to the fan base, oh, this is the guy. you want. This is the guy you want. I. think we'll stick with nine. >> No, the the post script on it all. I I. think I've said this before, maybe on. this show, but like the the commanders. thought Sam Darnold was coming to them.
last year and at the last second he's. like, I'm actually going to go with. Okonnell and go with those guys. And. they were like, well, all right, we'll. we'll we'll pivot. We'll go with. Mariota. But like what a sliding doors. moment if if Darnold was in Washington, never takes the field, and then all of a. sudden it's Jaden from day one and we. don't even know about Sam Darnold and. it's like I don't know. It's just. amazing how the NFL works and it's these. moments that like come and go. butterfly. effect, I believe, his decisions, effects, everything like that. Uh Marcus. Marie, God, >> did we know? >> That was a sick hoodie you got on, by. the way. Oh.
>> I got an Ohana hoodie. >> You got one. >> Shout out to Rob. Shout out to Rob and. the Oregon equipment staff. They always. hook it up. Great Air Forces, too. That. have Ohana on it, you know. Damn. >> Yeah, because it was celebrating Mariota. going in there. He's tall. Do we know he. was tall? Tall. >> Not that tall. >> I didn't know that was big. What? 6'4? Easy, right? >> Yeah. First thing I said to him is, "Holy [ __ ] I didn't know you were. tall." Paul, you're tall and he. >> I know. I know. We're doing all NFL Pat. Can I I mean that was incredible. Saturday morning. >> The motorcycle.
>> OH MY GOD, DUDE. And then landing. getting getting involved with the shout. like I I I say this as a as a as an. objective viewer, not a sickopant, not. to kiss your ass. >> Get the hell out of the way, social. media guy. >> This is all I'm saying. All right, social media guy. We'll get the video. Don't worry. Someone's filming. There's. a there's a there's a camera from the. sky and a drone. We're good. We don't. need social media guys filming this. Like, you know, here I used to wake like. wake up and look forward to Saturday. Night Live every Saturday night and see. who the Cold Open was going to be and.
who they were going to have. This is how. I am now on Saturday mornings with these. game day openings. They're incredible. You've now set the standard and the bar. so high. >> I don't know where you guys are going on. Saturday, but like the only thing left. is to like jump out of a plane or to. like jump off a mountain. I have. nothing. I don't know what else you can. do at this point. Budgy jump. >> I appreciate that. >> helicopter. >> Yeah, we could do a lot of things, I. guess. No, it's uh I'm very thankful. that Matt, who is the leader of the. Quack, uh kind of hooked it up. I think. he had to have belief that I could ride.
a motorcycle, so I can ride a. motorcycle. My wife and I have it. Yeah. I mean, the the helmet was obviously. pretty tight. I also, you know, there's. a chance that that thing has an anti-fog. screen on it, you know, but that just. wasn't the case. And when I realized. with the fog, the lights, and it was. dark and that kid's running backwards in. front of me at one point, it's like, uh, >> it's like, all right, this there's a lot. going on here. There's a lot going on. here. And then I didn't do a test drive. >> The uh the cover up of the wires.
>> plastic. Oh, yeah. >> Plus being a little moist in the. morning. Like in my head, I didn't know. those were going to be there. Should. have known they were going to be there. I'm rolling through, I see those for the. first time. I'm like, "Oh, no. This need. to stay the straight here." Then we turn. left in there, you know? So, it was very. cool for everybody to set that up. Miss. Dana over at Oregon, the leader of the. uh uh dance crew and I think stadium. environment and mascot and everything. like that. I appreciate her going to. work for this whole thing. But yeah, it. was uh it was a lot of fun. Fosso made a. lot of calls, you know, Fosso. Oh yeah,
>> Fosso made a because we're second time. in like three, four weeks. So, if I just. do the same thing and we went there last. year and last year, it's like you can't. just do the same thing every time, you. know? >> There's just something special. And it. was the same end when you guys were in. Utah like that that morning darkness. And I know it's not an easy thing for. you guys to be doing these West Coast. hours and especially on a Saturday. morning. But like gosh, there's nothing. more electric than me on the East Coast. with my son on the couch turning it on. and it's dark as night and there's a. full crowd there and you're going nuts.
with the with the the smoke coming out. I loved it, bro. It was great. >> Okay. I appreciate the comment. That's. very very cool of you to say and uh it. was a lot of fun and thank you to the. Oregon people for their hospitality. Those are the the Air Forces there, the. Ohana Air Forces I had on. So, it was uh. they were very kind, very nice. And. shout out to the kids showing up. We. were there two times in like three. weeks. Impressive. >> And they they showed up in a big way. Especially. >> there were critics. There were critics. who said, "You shouldn't have been. there, Pat.". >> Yeah, there's a there was some other. opportunities. You know, every week. there are those. Every week there are.
those. But Dan Lanning and everybody are. so kind. And being a part of a show that. people want to come to their place is. very cool. So, I appreciate you saying. that. And shout out to Oregon. Hey, they. got a football team. >> Yeah, they do. >> They got a tough football team. >> Got a quarterback, too. I like that kid. >> Yeah. Yeah. Dante's a stud. All right. Last question here for you, Shriggs. On. this overreaction Monday. Go ahead, Todd. >> Yeah, Shrekes. Before the season. started, you came on the show and. basically said, "Hey, the coaching. changes in Detroit. I'm out. I don't. think they're going to make the playoffs. this year. You took a lot of heat and. then for a little bit there, you know, when Johnny Mo uh got his play calling.
duty stripped from him." you were, you. know, maybe maybe right, but you could. probably argue they may have the best. player in the NFL and Jir Gibbs. Where. do you stand on the Lions right now. after, you know, not not the prettiest. of wins yesterday and then a tough one. on Thursday against the Packers on. Thanksgiving? >> Yeah, very good team and a very good. offense and a very good running back in. Jir Gibbs who had three touchdowns and. more than 230. yards from scrimmage yesterday. 50 yards.
from scrimmage. I I think it's fair to. say that they are an excellent team. who's going to either win the division. or be a wild card contender and of. course in a Super Bowl contention. It's. also fair to say that when they go. outside and play in Lambo and they lose. in week one and they go outside and lose. to the Chiefs in Arrowhead and then a. week ago playing against the Eagles. coming up short, like it's fair to ask. whether this team is a team that is good. or a team that is great. And I think the. loss of Ben Johnson was a big storyline. in the offseason. and I jumped on it and.
I was wrong. Dan Campbell can still get. this offense going, but the fact that. they've replaced their offensive. coordinator already sort of justifies. what I was fearing at the very least. that that maybe there is a gap in uh the. play calling from Ben Johnson to what we. thought was going to be Johnny Mo as the. offensive coordinator. So, I think both. things can be true. I was wrong that the. Lions were going to be flat uh you know, flatter on offense and I'm also right. that let's see how they do as the season. goes on and that Ben Johnson's a pretty. good play caller as well. Jamir Gibbs.
was pounding the ground on that run. I. mean, he was beating the [ __ ] out of the. ground on that run. >> He's unbelievable. So, so he's going into earth so hard. And uh obviously that's why he's so. fast. He's explo. >> PCO though. >> He's special. This guy's special down. Yeah. Running angry, but also incredibly. fast. And Gibbs goes supersonic. Not bad. here from, you know, uh Debbone. Graphic. designers had a hell of a day today. Had. a hell of a day today. They absolutely. crushed it. But you talk about him being.
so fast. He's supposed to be a part of a. a duo, Sonic and Knuckles. It's. seemingly becoming the Sonic show. And. how could it not be with how good he is? I assume that's something that MCDC has. to balance. Tai, have you heard any. comments from MCDC? >> Yeah, he basically said the, you know, something along the lines of like, listen, man, I'm I'm trying to kind of. balance this [ __ ] Give David his. touches, but I don't even get to watch. Jir because every time I put him in the. game, I look down, that motherfucker's. already in the end zone. So, you know, I. mean, hey, three clouds and a and a, you.
know, a little bit of dust with Dave or. 75 yards and a touchdown with Jir Gibbs. I I think you know which way I'm. leaning, man. >> Yeah, it does. >> I was texting with Ty cuz the Packers I. think this is the biggest game for both. those team seasons this week on. Thanksgiving Day in Detroit where the. Lions have handled the Packers last. couple year, whatever. And then all this. hype with the Packers defense like all. right, here comes Jir Gibbs and it's I. love this. I mean, everyone's talking. about Chiefs, Colts, and of course, Ravens, Bengals, but like Packers, Lions.
at 1:00 on a Thanksgiving Thursday. Like, let's go. >> Yeah, it's supposed to be noon. I think. we all thought we all thought that was. going to be noon. So, we'll try to. adjust, I guess. Thanks for adding. another hour of potential arguments to. America. That's [ __ ]. >> You know, could have put the game on. earlier, you know, so we could have the. entire afternoon. Green Bay, Detroit on. Fox, Kansas City, Dallas on CBS. >> Look at that slate. >> It's a good one. Cincinnati, Baltimore. on NBC and then Chicago and Philly on. prime time. All playoff implicating type.
games. It's going to be a huge. Thanksgiving. Shrekes, we appreciate the. hell out of you, brother. >> Bro, I love you. I love you guys. Thank. you. This was awesome. Always is. >> Hey, you're killing it. We're watching, ladies and gentlemen. Peter Shreger. >> I'll tell you what, Shrags on TV a lot. Doing good. Hosting, analyzing, >> jack of all trades. >> He can do it all. >> The Trager Hour. >> Oh, yeah. Well, how about whenever he's. sitting down. >> fireside chat? >> That sher chat. Yeah, you're talking. about the shreger chat. >> Real artsy. >> Yeah, he's very artsy and it's a.
oneshot. You know, he's talking to that. camera. Why don't you come take a walk. with me like this is good fellas through. the kitchen. >> Let me explain to you what everything is. and he's got that really cool fire and. everything's set up nice. Yeah, Shank. Shank's doing his thing. The NFL is. awesome. Got it rolling. >> All right, before we get out of here on. ESPN as we continue digitally, I think. we should break down tonight's game a. little bit. I think we should break down. tonight's game. Carolina Panthers take. on the San Francisco 49ers. Is the. number still seven and a half on this. evening's game? >> Yes, it is.
>> What's the percentage of bets on the San. Francisco 49ers? It was 62% last time we. checked last hour. It is currently. sitting at. >> 61%. >> OH, NO. THE 60% plus bets are something. we get our stats from. Now it's at 61. So, we still take it seriously. >> Yeah, you definitely have to. >> And what is 60% of the bets uh this. weekend? Uh, so far this weekend, if a. team is getting 60% or more of the bets. against the spread, they are 27 and one. against the spread.
>> So, that would tell you that the odds. are against the San Francisco 49ers. covering seven and a half. >> Debbut, your thoughts? We have 90. seconds. So, >> should we pick you right now? >> I think you should give a pick. I think. you could give I mean we're wasting. valuable seconds right now because we. don't have a lot of them but I think you. can give a little bit of a reasoning and. then a pick I think. >> uh because of what Tone said the betting. numbers and the last time we saw the San. Francisco 49ers that gave up 47. completions I think Bryce Young would be. just all right may even win this game.
straight up but definitely Panthers plus. seven and a half. >> Okay, that's Panthers plus seven and a. half by Darius J. Butler. AJ Hawk, you. are 93 and one currently on week 12 of. the NFL against the spread. How do you. see tonight going? I plan on going 103. and one by taking the Carolina Panthers. here. Rico Daell hopefully gets a good. chunk of carries and gets going early. I. still like San Francisco and what they. can do, but I like Carolina with those. points. >> I'll tell you what, I feel the exact. same way. That is not good that we all. feel that way, but we all feel against. the majority of the public. And I think.
that's because just like a couple. different times this season, whether. it's college ball or NFL, I think we. know more about these teams potentially. because we've been following them a. little bit closer cuz we were either. embroiled with beef with them or new. introductions with them. So I think. Carolina Panthers pretty good team. I. think they'll cover the seven and a. half. I still think the Niners get a. win. And thank you to week 12 of the NFL. slate being spectacular. And thank you. all for allowing us to do this for a. living. Uh we are the dumbest people on. earth living the dumbest lives of all. time and it's because of you. So, thank. you all so much. Be a friend. Tell a.
friend something nice. It might change. their life. We continue on digital. See. you tomorrow. Yeah, I feel like that was. a pretty good one. Gave myself a little. bit more runway. >> Yeah. >> Great. >> Had to fill a little bit more time. >> more than the first hour. >> First hour. Yeah. Chef just kept going, but that was on me because I had I felt. obligated to say something and I cut. into his time. So, I think he had a. clock and I kind of messed that up. So, that's on me. What are we going to do. about it, Edge? What are we going to do. about it? >> You guys did it. It was great. It was a. great program. I think. >> we all like Carolina plus 7. I think we.
all felt it this morning. I think I. think we all kind of felt it this. morning. H and I don't know if you woke. up the same way, but Connor actually. came up to me and was like, "Hey, are. you getting the same feeling that you. had on Thursday?" And it's like, "No, I. don't." And then the more and more I. thought about it, I was like, "I think I. do." Just a ton of points. >> Yeah. And also, I think we have more. respect for Carolina than most people. I. think that is probably the case. >> That's what I was going to like the. people just remember, you know, past. years of how bad they were when things. were just in shambles. And if the. Panthers haven't played your favorite. team, you probably haven't watched them,
definitely haven't had them in like the. the quad box on Sunday. So you, you. know, you have no idea and you just. assume like, oh, these are the guys who. the owner's kind of an [ __ ] and all. that kind and all that stuff is kind of. blown away. Like they I mean they're. good like they look at the division like. if they win tonight, they they might. make the playoffs this year. So and I. also think what you said is is pretty. accurate too. Like I think any anyone. could see this game being like ners 28, Carolina 24, you know, 3 3127. Like I I think it's going to be a much.
better game than people anticipate. >> The Panthers also do I'm on the Panthers. tonight. I just want I'll say that. But. they also have the ability to just go. out there and lay absolutely. >> True. >> Yeah. Happen. What was it? Falcons 40. to9 to the Bills and then. >> they lost to the Saints. >> Yeah. So they can be they have the. ability. >> Yeah. This could be a Niners blow up. >> Could be. Brock party could say, "Oh, you all forgot." You know, it could be. one of those. >> Or maybe a twofer. Uh, what game did we. not talk a lot about? Falcons beat the.
Saints 24-10. Kurt Cousins is back. celebrating with. >> Kurt Cousins football's all the way. back. Crazy that he was just kind of out. of sight, out of mind for so long, getting paid as much as he's getting. paid. It was the thought that he was. going to get traded, go somewhere. Obviously, having Bejon Robinson on your. offense is good news. He is obviously. filthy. Uh, but yeah, Kurt Cousins gets. a huge win for the Falcons. JJ, I like. seeing Kirk spin it a little bit. >> How can you not? I mean, especially if. you watched him at all on, you know, quarterback or whatever. Like, how do. you not root for this dude and he can. still spin it? You're right. He had a.
couple unbelievable balls and all this. Like, this is what Yeah, this is cool. Like, seeing him all juxed up like he. hasn't had this feeling in a long time. This is the one right here. Yeah. You're. like, "Okay, here we go. Kirk, right in. stride.". >> And the boys pick him up, too. Offensive. linemen pick him up and carry him. around. He's an adult with kids getting. picked up by another man. You know, they're they're obviously super excited. for Kirk because of the situation, how. he's handled it all. >> Absolutely. Good for Kirk being a pro. and I did not know Kirk still had that. throw right there in his bag. So, they're going to need him to stay. competitive. >> No reps. Keep no reps just like you know.
Shador said. Hey, one week of practice. getting the reps getting. So, I love to. see that especially with all the the. weapons that was banged up and out of. the lineup. >> Might have been a reset button for old. Kirk, too. He might have been getting in. his own head. remember he was making. some shitty plays at the end of that run. led to league interceptions last year. >> Yeah, there was a lot of like dumb non. Kirk Cousins things happening in the. game and was that because of who was. around him because what was being. played? Whatever the case, we don't. know. But nice little reset, little. refresher and Kirk Cousins reminds. everybody there's a reason I was paid as. much as I was paid. Patriots get a big.
win over the Bengals. That was closer. than you guys liked up there or what? >> Uh yeah, definitely closer with the. injuries. You kind of expected it. because of how early on what happened. What happened? Jared Wilson right off. the bat ankle. I mean, I think it was. the first run of the game to Trevon. Henderson. Real tough. Then Will. Campbell on a toss left. Got a knee or. got a helmet to the knee kind of a. little bit to the side. >> And that's your left guard, left tackle. >> Yeah, that's left guard, left tackle. >> Both of them rookies. >> Yeah, both of them rookies. It was. tough. Drake May, you know, dragged us. out of a hole, but we haven't played. anybody, so who cares? Uh my question.
for you more so would be did you get any. messages from any Bengals fans about. their whole uh excuse me operation as. far as uh you know people yelling stuff. to you whether it be in the morning on. your way into work that's funny. >> just walked me to water. Yeah. So, as. soon as I parked here uh outside of. Thunderdome this morning, there was a. cop pulling up to the stop sign that's. kind of uh adjacent to the building here. and uh hilarious, you know, I waved good. morning and he has his uh intercom or.
whatever. He goes, "Can we bury Zack. Taylor a little bit today?" And I I. thought I heard it. I thought I heard. it. I was like, "What's that?" And he. goes, "Zack Taylor, need to hate him." I. go, "All right, okay, dude. Thank you. for your service." And then he turns. away. It was uh it was a hilarious. happen stance, but it was like wow. Bengals fans, I guess they must be done. with old Zack Taylor. Now Joe Burrow. coming back to play. Obviously, we. assume team is going to be different. with him. Marcus Jones, what a pick. here. Just understanding everything that. was about to happen in a play basically.
>> Yeah, that's what you cannot be late to. the flat in the NFL. We talk about it. all the time when you are. That's what. happens. Most explosive plays happen in. the NFL along the sidelines. So that's. what happened right here. Flat. Yeah, it. felt like he knew Jon right when he. threw it. Right when he threw it. >> Yeah. Well, hash 107. That would give. you 1410. Then there were some decisions. made late, right, that people were. confused by. >> Yeah. I mean, decision, but also just. like complete ineptitude. Like we had uh. eight straight chances at the goal line. to score a touchdown and we got stopped.
all eight times. Absolutely despicable. And then uh when it was 23 to 20, once. again, first and goal from the oneyd. line for New England and they uh just. got stuffed. So there so there really. wasn't any um Yeah. I wasn't sure what. you. >> Yeah. No. No. Wasn't Zack Taylor. Why do. they hate Zack Taylor? >> Oh, I don't know why they hate Zack. Taylor. Honestly, while I was watching. that game, it's like the Patriots have a. top 10 defense. They don't have Jamar. Chase. If Jamar Chase is in the game, that that might help a little bit. T. Higgins also went down with concussion. Feel as though the Cincinnati Bengals. field also has cement underneath it like.
Metife. I think there was 15 different. injuries. But I mean, I I didn't really. look towards Zack Taylor while watching. that game like this guy's a [ __ ] It. was more so like one this team's banged. up and their best player spit on someone. last week. They have their backup. quarterback Joe Flaccoa who also got. hurt during the game, Jake Browning came. in and kind of was serviceable enough, but I I wouldn't point to Zack Taylor. I. feel as though Bengals fans are just. trying to point to anybody but um the. offensive line and Duke Tobin and their. decision to not pick the right guy to.
block for Joe Burrow. But once again, you do kind of have to blame someone. I. personally feel as if Zack Taylor's a. good coach, but if that's who they want. to blame, that's who they want to blame. >> I don't know. The whole entire build of. the team. >> It was like obviously you get key. injuries and it just ruins everything. that they had going there, but like. where they chose to invest their money, I everybody that has known football. forever is like that's not any level at. this stage how you kind of win in this.
whole thing. Now, they've struck out at. offensive line a couple times. They've. struck out. They've tried to get guys. They've struck out. Obviously, that. stinks in it all, but I don't know, man. Eight eight goal line stands. You said. >> uh it actually ended up being uh 11. because we got to 26 uh and we did three. straight plays stuffed and we had ended. up having to kick the field goal to go. 26-20. So, >> Bengals defense. backbone. >> only scored 19 points. I mean, without. the pick six, we we lose that game. Granted, they had a pick six too, but.
yeah, Patriots first team to 10 wins. You got to love it. >> Yeah. Ruler speed was up there. Ruler of. the jungle. See him hit a backflip with. the thing. >> No, >> he had the thing in his hand, the uh. sorcery stone. >> Yeah. No, the that thing. >> Sure. >> And he was getting him jacked up. Let's. go. Let's go. And then he hit a backflip. with that thing. I thought it was very. impressive cuz that should have hit the. ground at some point. Did not stop the. landing. I don't know if you're supposed. to do anything. It seems like there was. nothing to kind of. >> Yeah. Shouldn't you put it into. something? >> You plan it. Do you Do you plan it into.
something? >> I don't know. I was looking around. >> That's a new thing. That's not like an. old school Bengals tradition. That's. that's newer. >> I don't think you plant it because when. Wit did it, he just went [ __ ] nuts. with it in. >> So you just kind of hold it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Like a. >> I mean you should boom with fireworks. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That cost money, which I think is. what the Bangers fan should be more. pissed about. >> Look, here he is. So I'm looking on the. ground to see if there's anywhere to put. it, you know, or you just out there. doing it. I think Speed handle it. properly, I would say. And then boom, >> bang. >> Jeez, that's impressive. >> That is impressive. Yeah. Incredibly.
>> Six staff, too. >> So, you just hold that thing up. I. didn't know if he was gonna put it in. the ground at some point. >> You should. >> toss this jab. >> or Yeah. >> Yeah. They should have They should try. >> Yeah. Just try. >> or bring a fake Patriots mascot. Bring. like a Patriots mascot and just beat the. hell out of him with it. >> That' be sick. >> Maybe it's a stab of. >> maybe something. Yeah. >> You know, like the other team and then. he put stab kind of through. >> Yeah. >> That's a good backflip though. And heavy. Jays. Those are Heavy Jays. Those are. not the most athletic Jays. and he lands. a thing on his feet. Don't do it. And.
turns out they lose, but. >> yes, it's close. >> Patience did their thing. What do we not. talk enough about? Uh, college football. Huge weekend. Obviously, this weekend. have a lot of rivalries. Friday is going. to be loaded. Saturday is loaded with. college ball. I mean, we are living in a. very good time. Meaningful football. store. Show.com. 25% off because every. game matters. And uh, if you want a. sport rep brand, we would certainly be. thankful. And if you don't, we don't. care either. We're very appreciative for. the support. Don't feel obligated, but. we'd love to see you uh out and about.
Store.matshow.com 25% off everything. right now. Uh meaningful football games, college, very very meaningful. Tone, what's the story line? >> Yeah, there's a lot of meaningful games. this weekend obviously in the leadup to. this week, which will be the last uh. week of the year, rivalry week before we. get into conference championships. But. let's start in Eugene, Oregon, where you. were, where Oregon kind of took it to. USC. USC came out and they did score the. first touchdown of the game, but then. Oregon kind of, you know, imposed their. will a bit. And that's kind of what we. talked about with Dan Lanning a lot. Uh. there you have Kenyan Sadi with a an.
incredible uh touchdown pass. Noah. Whittington uh was incredible. The whole. run game that's kind of what Oregon's. been based on and they dominated and. pulled away late to get a huge win. there. Uh the other big one was uh. Missou was going down to. >> Oh, I thought they were going to win. >> They and it if it wasn't so what there. was or there's a lot of questions about. Oregon's or sorry Oklahoma's offense. There was this what was it like 93 yard. touchdown uh early in the game but like. other than that there was not a ton of.
offense in this game at all. It was. lowcoring. We didn't know what Pribula. was going to be able to do. I was going. to go with the Stanford Steve Pbula but. I don't like that. So. >> I think that's right though, isn't it? >> Yeah, it might be. But. >> Bo could. Oregon did just enough to get this win. and then stay obviously in in uh playoff. contention. The other big one, uh, BYU. went to Cincinnati where they basically. just have to win to get in. It was close. all game long. LJ Martin, the running. back for BYU, had over 200 yards and.
they got a big win against Cincinnati. So now all they have to do is win this. weekend. I believe they host UCF and. then they'll face Texas Tech in the Big. 12 Championship game if Texas Tech gets. a big win against WVU on the road. >> I know. >> That's going to be tough. It's in Morgan. time. >> But right now, it's looking like BYU. Texas Tech. And then I'd say the the. last game, the last thing that we should. touch on is just Jeremiah Love. Uh. Stanford Steve said, "Hey, in these last. two games, Jeremiah Love's going to run. for 500 yards." Uh that might not be. wrong. He went had eight carries for. 170, I believe.
>> Eight. >> Eight. >> Eight carries for three. >> Three Todds. Yes. And Notre Dame was up. 21 nothing before their offense touched. the ball. Uh they won 70 to whatever. So. Jeremiah Love had a huge weekend. He is. now number three in the Heisman odds, moving up the charts. >> He's awesome. He was great on our show. last week and obviously he just, you. know, is untackable seemingly. Those are. high school stats. >> Yeah. Syracuse do any sprints after the. game? >> Uh, no. Fran Brown was pretty defeated. He he basically said, "I want my team to. be like that team." That's basically all.
he said post game. He's He's pretty He's. pretty bummed out. >> He's bummed out for good reason. Bummed. out, Brown is what they're saying. >> And I got one more. If I forgot this, I. would have been attacked again. Uh, Pit. had a huge win down at Georgia Tech, too. Now, Georgia Tech does not uh. control their fate for the ACC. championship. Virginia does. Uh and SMU. does for the ACC championship. There is. an ACC chaos scenario where if they. lose, there's going to be like five. teams tied at six and two. But Pit had a. huge result there against Georgia Tech.
and they host Miami this week. So, the. ACC is still up for grabs, but this was. a a big one in that conference. Yeah, we. thought senior day Haynes King, but we. just saw out of Pit the week before. against Jeremiah Love, who once again. had a huge day, multiple touchdowns. Instead, Pit goes in there, Narduzi goes. in there and steals all the joy and uh. Pit's still in it. >> Crazy to think Pit is still in it. Heel, shout out to him, bouncing back. Congrats to the Panthers. Did Mercer end. up beating Auburn or No, >> I think it was close. Uh but Auburn edg.
edged him out. >> Okay. >> Yeah, it was close for a good What was. it 15? There's a lot of those. >> games. >> Well, I um I actually thought 27 and a. half would be uh wrong, you know. I. thought for the Superdog I was down 20. and I saw 27 and a half. >> Mhm. >> And uh yeah, I had myself believing that. the Mercer Bears are going to win that. one. They're nine and two now. They lose. their second game of the season by a. lot. >> 14 144 first quarter.
>> 27 and a half just wasn't enough. Didn't. appear to be enough. And I had a lot of. Auburn people because on the show on. game day when I said look for Mercer to. cover and outright win. It's because I. needed that. A cover is only five. points. A win is the amount the spread. and five points. So I needed that to. catch up the I believe Herbre is in the. lead right now. I believe he is pulling. away. So I need a big one. So I put it. in the universe that they were going to. outright win. And Auburn people just. took the quote and put it out there. And. then all of a sudden I got a bunch of. Auburn people saying, "Hey, how'd that.
Mercer game go? This guy done [ __ ] no. ball." It's like, well, >> you also didn't know that uh Auburn's. five-star true freshman quarterback was. going to come in and run. I think he had. three touchdowns and like 200 yards. rushing. >> Yeah, he's not. >> Now I know. And that's a big one for. Alabama this weekend. >> Yeah. >> Hey, good luck Alabama. Got a tough one. Yep. Got a horn snest on her. >> It's going to be crazy. >> at night. >> Stanford's uh Andrew Luck had a massive. win over Cal. Happy for them getting. that. Maybe they're back on track. >> Maybe. I would love Honestly, I would. love to see Andrew Luck with the headset. on. got to coach.
>> It felt like he did have the headset on. >> Exactly. He saw pregame. You mentioned a. pregame speech. Well, the night before. the game to the boys and then we all saw. the live interview moment when the uh. the fumble got picked up and took to the. house. Love seeing him live just ball. But I would love to see him. I think. Frank Wright or it's already come out. that he'll be stepping down after this. season as a coach. I believe I heard. that some weeks ago. I would love to. hear and see Andrew Luck on the sideline. as a coach. Maybe bring Stanford back. You think Andrew Luck is GM head coach? >> Uh, I think he could I think someone.
else could do the GM thing. I would love. to see him because we we know how he is. as far as his mind when it comes to ball. and then the competitor that he is as. well. So, I would love to see him kind. of just, you know, giving it back to the. boys through that program. And and me. and Ty were talking about it before the. show. I don't know if they'll ever be on. the same level as these other bigger. programs with the NIL stuff because you. you said they have to. >> Yeah. I don't know if that's real, but. like they're one of the few schools who. like it actually matters cuz like. they're going to have Olympians and like. swimming and diving and stuff like that.
Like that stuff still very much matters. >> You're talking about rev share. >> Yeah, exactly. >> Yeah. Where the money's allocated. towards and everything like that. Yeah, cuz they do love their Olympics, which. is obviously huge. Andrew Luck, yeah, I. think it was the practice the night. before they showed it on game day. He. was fired up talking about him and then. on the sideline while he's giving that. interview, he's like while he's talking, he's watching back at the game. He's. like, "This guy's super invested." like. general manager. Yeah. Super invested in. an age him saying let's get him coaching. again. Maybe Andrew Luck is coaching. this Stanford team next year going.
forward. >> Yeah. Don't you think his his like. postgame and his weekly press. conference, he'd be awesome because he. does seem like he's very open. He would. let you know how he feels and he's so. weirdly smart. I just like hearing him. talk football. Anytime he I Yeah, I've. always been a huge fan of him. I know. you played with him, but just hearing. him talk football like he seems like. he's light years ahead of a lot of. people. >> Loves ball. >> Mhm. >> I mean, absolutely. You can tell. I. mean, just that that sideline interview. Come on now. Like, right. I'd give him. the job right there. >> Yeah. And good luck to him with. Stanford. Obviously, it's a big brand. I. don't know if they've ever got more than.
100 people in the stands for any other. game other than Cal, but if anybody. could do it, Andrew could definitely do. it. So, good luck to them. And then, obviously, the big story line still in. college ball is where the hell is Lane. Kein going? >> Where's Lane Keifin going? Because. obviously that sets off a dominoes uh. for everywhere else and everything else. They got a massive game against. Mississippi State coming up this Friday. in the Egg Bowl. He is set to make the. announcement, I guess, on Saturday with. the athletic director. The athletic. director has come out and said, "Coach. Gifin and I or vice chancellor, I'm.
sorry. Coach Gin and I have had many. pointed and positive conversations. regarding his future at Old Miss, including meeting today with Chancer. Boyce. While we discussed next step, we. know we cannot lose sight of what is. most important, our sixth ranked team. that is poised to finish the regular. season in historic fashion. Despite the. outside noise, Coach Keifin is focused. on preparing our team for the Egg Bowl. And together, we want to ensure that our. players and coaches can concentrate. fully on next Friday's game. This team. is on the cusp of an unprecedented. season, and it's imperative they feel.
the support of the Old Miss family in. the week ahead. An announcement on Coach. Kein's future is expected Saturday. following the Egg Bowl. That's letting. our fans know. Can we get through this. week, please? Mhm. >> And then what we all want to know that's. that's the school stick it up for Kein. cuz coach Kein would like a little bit. of time probably like hey can I can I. get some time here to potentially think. about this. I'm also in the biggest. position that I've been in in some time. and our school has never been in this. situation. So I know there's a lot of. everything. Everybody wants me to answer. everything including fans of Old Miss.
because when transfer portal is what. everything else is. Can we just worry. about what we got going on right now for. me now is everybody around him that's. doing the business of football certainly. getting all the information definitely. but I think what this is is Lane meeting. with the chancellor and everything going. like I would like to not have to worry. about all this right now. Can we just. put together the best season that we've. ever had and can we beat Mississippi. State and then I'll give you an answer. on Saturday? Like I think that was the. >> can I please just get through this game. and figure out what the hell I want to.
do and then I'll give you an answer the. next day or we'll give a little bit of I. think that's what that was from the. chancellor and probably from Lane. Keifin. >> Very much so. And it's funny you say. that cuz uh Winnad Chamblish actually. just put out a tweet I think like an. hour or so ago that basically said the. similar thing right here from Trinidad. to our fans. This team is completely. locked in living in the moment and. staying true to our 1 and0 mindset for. the egg in future games. We are. unbothered by anything about next year. and fully trusting coach Keifin's. leadership to keep us moving toward our. goals. So that's feels like the message. coming out of Old Miss right now. >> Everybody's like, "Hey, can you [ __ ]. let us play this game at least and then.
we'll get an answer for everybody. We. get it. We get it. We get it. Okay, but. can we please?" That's what that sounds. like. And I'm happy they're doing that. But Miss fans, Florida fans, LSU fans. and these other places like, "Yeah, yeah. Good luck in the Egg Bowl.". >> You think he knows? >> I don't I don't think he knows. AJ. already told us. >> Is this the ultimatum that we were. talking about the Saturday presser? That's the ultimatum. You got to make up. your mind one way or the other. >> There was never an ultimatum. But I do. think I No, but Okay. Okay. But but.
just to kind of counter that. >> I do think probably all parties were. like, "Hey, >> we need an answer." Like I I assume. everybody is saying the same thing, you. know? So I don't know if it's an. ultimatum put on them, but I would. assume all parties are like, "We need. the [ __ ] cuz we got to move. we and then. guess what's going to happen whenever. the other place moves there's gonna be. another coach in like. >> they're like basically like hey we need. an answer at some [ __ ] point here. we're going to need this because when. the transfer portal is for like what. football is now to Nick Sabin's point.
that he put out very well on college. game day it's like the calendar and the. schedule right now completely [ __ ]. >> the teams in this situation because like. >> the coach staying with his team is just. not going to be possible and there's. going to be a lot of teams that are. going to be in the 9 10 11 12 spot that. might not be a blueblood and their coach. is probably going to have a lot of. attention on them and how many times is. this going to happen going forward in. the playoffs? Probably pretty regularly. with how everything's kind of set up. right now. So, there's a lot of [ __ ].
that has to kind of get figured out. obviously and everybody Coach Sabin's. coming from the coaches angle. Coach. Sabin's like. you're damned if you do, damned if like. this is not uh you can't do this. From. the players perspective, it's like we. need to know what the hell is going on, even though Winnad says we're not. focused by it. And from the fans. perspective, they're like, we need to. know that you're focused on the most. important part of the season, which is. the transfer portal, which really is the. most important part of like basically. every single offseason now, huh? >> Yeah. Let's just say like hypothetically.
Lane decides to go to LSU or Florida. and like Miss is going to coach the. playoffs. Yeah, he's got But here's the. thing, like he's the playoffs are. December 19th and 20th and I think the. next round is the 31st and the first. That's when the transfer portal is. So. like are you going to be coaching Miss. while doing the transfer portter stuff. for LSU or Florida? >> And everybody says the transfer portal. is just crazy speed dating for like. three, four days where you got to try to. learn as much as you possibly can about. everybody, find out the price, and then.
boom, you're moving on. So it's like the. new schools are like, we need you fully. focused on the [ __ ] what we're doing. next year. And then Miss could. potentially be like, "Yeah, we need our. new coach to know what the hell they're. gonna it's. It's just a. it's a bad situation.". >> And with those guidelines, like what if. they're seventh, right, in the college. football playoff, but then they come out. and Lane Kevin's not going to be their. coach in the college football playoff. committee, he's like, "You know what? [ __ ] it. Let's put BYU and Texas Tech. in. We don't need Old Miss. Don't even. have a coach.". >> They can do that. They put that in the.
in the clause at the bottom. >> The clause is the clause. That'd be very. unfair to. >> the bottom. >> Yeah, >> it'd be very unfair. It would It's a. shitty. >> And what if Trinidad's going with him? Like I I love that tweet. >> That's the Old Miss fans. I mentioned. that on game day. I was like. >> cuz that's a real thought. >> cuz like the Old Miss fans are like, >> "Oh, so not only are you leaving, you're. going to take our entire good team.". >> Oh man. >> And that's that's a safe assumption. If.
he does leave 19, >> I think they are going with him. You don't know who the next coach is. going to be. Might come in and woo him. >> Could be Chuck Weiss Jr. >> might come in and woo him. You never. know what's going to happen. Woo! Woo! Woo! Next coach maybe who I I I don't. >> I don't love the setup for him, but I'd. like to reiterate my fact or point that. I made on game day. It's like he's. allowed to be happy. >> and he's also allowed to let them figure. out this whole thing and not be the. person that gets thrown into the first.
fire, you know? you know, will there be. other jobs that open up in the future, >> you think? >> No, this is it. This is the last year. any college football coaches are being. fired. >> So, maybe he does have to make a. decision right now. >> forever. Yeah. For the next 50 years. >> There's never been this many big jobs. available this early, I feel like. >> Yeah. And will that continue or not? Probably not. Right. We assume that. everybody saw what happened whenever. Penn State let go of James Franklin and. then every candidate for their job. signed a new deal for more money than. ever before. So maybe they'll wait for.
the firings until later. Maybe that'll. be a forced decision. But if you wait. till later, then who's controlling. transfer portal? You're behind April. >> Yeah, >> there's just no answer to. >> now. Coach Sabin, I think uh I don't. know who said it. I think it was coach. Sabin that said it, but I don't want to. >> I don't want to I don't know if this is. his exact thing. Somebody said it in a. conversation. Coach Sabin was part of. the conversation. I think it was coach. Sabin's brain. But if they would have. kept the spring transfer portal and. instead of doing spring ball, just do.
summer and do workouts through and just. go into training camp, you know, because. nobody's really doing spring ball. anymore. Nobody does a spring game. anymore. Everybody's scared to death of. spring. So if you do a spring transfer. portal and then you give more time. before season to build team cuz the. thing that was bad about the spring. transfer portal was there's no time. before training camp. Basically, spring. ball is already over. So now we got. nothing with these guys except for. summer workouts and then training camp. So I think the the answer to that would. be spring transfer portal so that you.
don't have these issues with the whole. thing and then you would have to build. up some sort of summer into training. camp program and what the rules and. guidelines would be. But in some of. these places it's 175 degrees in the. middle of the summer. >> So you know how they handle all of it. And then schooling is involved in this. obviously because it matters. >> Yeah. Mhm. A. >> lot of these players making 15x what. their teachers are making in the classes. that they're in. What are we going to. school for to make have a job? Have one. But I'll certainly respect what you're. saying. I appreciate that. School.
matters. >> Always will. >> It's smart. >> You have a degree? >> Yep. >> AJ, you have a degree? >> Yeah. >> You guys are awesome. You have a degree? >> Mhm. >> Conor, you have a degree? >> I don't know, man. I got a I got a. freaking D minus in French. >> So, you still don't know if you. graduate? I'm not sure. >> That's awesome. That's kind of a. conundrum. >> I got this I got this hat, so I know I. know that if I pull it, everything's. going to [ __ ] fall. >> Yeah, we saw his graduation. >> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Did you graduate? Did you graduate? >> Yeah. >> Foxy, did you graduate? >> Yes, sir. >> Bruce, did you graduate? >> Yeah. >> Nick, how many times did you graduate? >> Twice, actually. >> Gumpy. >> Hell yeah, brother. >> School of hard knocks, baby. >> Hell yeah. Gumps. admit. >> Whoa. >> Oh, yeah. >> Didn't get his degree. >> I don't know if Depal gave him one or. not. Might one of those. >> Mick got his degree. >> I do not believe he did. >> He got his master.
>> Boozing degree. >> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. >> All right. College game day this weekend. is headed to Ann Arbor for obviously the. game. Uh how do you feel AJ about this. one? Obviously, it's been a long time. since the Buckeyes have beat the. Michigan Wolverines. This one's up in. Michigan. How do you feel going in? This. feels like your best chance to maybe. stop the trend of you guys losing to. that team from up north. Uh. >> oh. >> Yeah, I mean I feel pretty good. Obviously Cardinal T Jeremiah Smith not. playing this past week. Uh it makes.
people worry a little bit, I guess, but. hopefully they will be ready to roll uh. in Ann Arbor on Saturday, but no, we. yeah, this is the season starts now for. Ohio State. We know that this is the the. biggest game and and uh got to find a. way to take care of business here and. then continue to roll when it when it. truly matters. I can't wait to get up. there. I don't I for some reason I. always think it's not going to be good. in Michigan and then we get there and. we're in like a tailgating parking lot. and it's like very good. The vibes are. always immaculate. And then we get into. the stadium, it's just electrifying in. there. So very pumped to get up there.
Cannot wait to celebrate the Big 10. wrapping up its season here and the Ohio. State Buckeyes dominating year. Can it. be derailed once again from the Michigan. Wolver? >> That should be fun. They can. send you to school or get vocational. training. Look, this isn't about the old. stuffy VA that you heard about from your. from your relatives, your parents. Oregon Duck, hitting the ramp, making his way in, ready to rev up this crowd for an. afternoon showdown. You know, for years, the Trojan sort of vexed the Ducks, but. then the Ducks found enough firepower.
to be able to make their place in the. college football landscape. And today. they're the one that everybody's going. after. >> Who's driving that? He's got ripped. jeans on there. >> Oh, are you serious? >> Look at the duck here. >> Well, here comes the duck. >> Here comes the duck ducks. So, I've never met anybody. that just kicked kickoffs and onsides. Does that mean cuz you couldn't hit the. broad side of the barn with the. football? >> So, my junior year I missed an extra. point. We lost to the state champs by. one and I was removed. >> Redemption comes today for you, John. Here's the deal. Redemption is obviously.

Witchah. >> John, >> new ball. We got a new ball. >> Yeah, but if you don't stand for. anything, you fall for everything. >> Okay, how about this? >> 250,000 to you, 250,000 to a charity. here in Levik. This is your last kick. And this is your last opportunity maybe. in your whole life to make a kick. You. played soccer YOUR WHOLE LIFE. YOU'VE. KICKED BALLS FOREVER. Swing through the. damn thing and PUT IT THROUGH THE. UPRIGHTS AND DON'T LET STANFORD STEVE.
WAVE THIS OFF. >> HE LIKES TO do that. >> Yeah. Make this thing pure, John. That was awesome. I knew it. I was. >> You did it, buddy. >> John, congratulations, John.
>> Yeah, brother. Good job. >> All right, John. >> Good job, bro. Hell yeah. John, come get your big check that you. need to take TO A BIG BANK CUZ you just. made a big kick to change your life. We're happy for you. It's electrifying. here in Happy Valley. We're lucky to be. here. And uh you know, the way you win. this is you have uh be the first 300. people here and you get a ticket and. then we randomly select a ticket and.
that person gets an opportunity to kick. a 33 yard field goal for an undetermined. amount of money. This week we had our. man William, right? What's your name? >> William. Yes, sir. >> You won the raffle and you said I don't. want to kick because I suck at kicking. Is that accurate? >> More or less. >> What is your uh major here? >> I'm a finance major. >> Okay. So, money decision was I suck at. this. Let me try to find somebody who's. good at this. How did you land on my man. here? And uh what are your hopes in him? >> Well, I was looking around. I saw my.
man. He said he plays soccer. And I was. like, this is my guy right here, my guy. Carson. I have faith in him, so I know. he's going to get it done. >> All right. You're Carson, right? You. played high school soccer. Is that. accurate? >> I did play high school soccer. >> Where are you from? >> I'm from Hannover, Pennsylvania. >> Okay. You're a Pennsylvania guy. Have. you ever kicked a ball before? >> Other than not football, soccer. >> Okay. Well, hopefully you're terrible at. this. It's $100,000. Uh are you guys. splitting that 50/50? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Uh so we'll make it uh $300,000.
$150,000 for both of you. Okay. >> You only get one kick, though. You've. gamed the ticket game, which I. appreciate and respect. It's up to. $300,000. 150 for both of you. Only one kick. though, Herby. We're not doing anything. I don't care how many stators chant for. another kick. >> Only one. Herby played high school. soccer. He's a good player. >> We got a problem here. >> That's right. It's a white out. It could. be a special day. YOU COULD HELP OUT. YOUR GUY WILLIAM and winning $150,000.
One kick 300. TWO.
>> You're a good man. finish. >> Carson, congratulations. >> WILLIAM, WAY TO GO. >> IT HAS BEEN AN EXPENSIVE YEAR OUT HERE. AT the field kick, Carson. I'm proud OF. YOU, BUDDY. 300,000. 150 TO YOU. 150 TO. YOU. GOOD FINANCE decisions were made in. the first top six white OUT. and an expensive one. We are. >> WE ARE.
WE ARE. >> Thank you. >> Goodbye. >> I hate that bike. Maybe they should have. turned that around and said thank you to. Pat. >> That's so stupid. It's crazy. to do that. and also take us off the [ __ ] we do.
not deserve to be okay. >> They all commit and love what's going on. in that waiting room. They all commit. and love what Jim Harbaugh is preaching. and everybody in the building's happy. Everybody's like excited to be there. >> First row pressure, first row, second. row is up here. >> It is infectious what they got going on. And how many owners are spending 300. million on a new facility just for. practice facility? >> This is Butler Birdies. WOW. >> OH [ __ ].
>> But then for them to do it upright for. the last couple It's like look out for. the Chargers, dude. Look out for the. Chargers. >> Coach, >> I got a gift for you. >> Okay. So, miss your birthday. We miss. Christmas. We. >> Oh, look at that. Your perspective on. high five is one of the greatest things. you ever seen. So we all have great. adventures. >> I love the high five.
>> Yeah. Give each other a high five. >> BOOM. >> OH MY GOD. >> WOW. >> BOOM. >> [ __ ]. >> We wanted to make you basically. something that we could like dad. >> Oh wow. >> Hell to get that feeling. Yeah. >> And that's I think we can get a pretty. good pause. >> Yeah.
>> That is incredible. >> Obviously, national champion, Michigan. man. Greatest high five. >> Yeah. >> Because of what you brought for the high. five. >> Oh yeah. >> He tried to give a handshake to that. particular high five trophy. did break. the hand off. We had to put it back on. >> Yeah, we're going to go handshake. >> OH NO. OH NO.
>> There we go. >> We have so much respect. >> You guys just rolled deep. This is. >> This would be entourage level, wouldn't. it? >> To be honest, we didn't know we were. going to be able to get 11 people in. here. And then we pulled up 11. That's. why to. >> Yeah. They always start. >> I mean, wow. It looks like a lot of. highlights against one particular team. >> They played more than one game. Why did.
they have more than. >> for one game? >> Imposing our will. >> This sucks. >> Party in the back. >> No one. >> No one outs. This might be close. >> I love that Chargers theme even more. now. >> Hey, what? Let's go. >> This show sticks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. >> McAfee on the line with a gorgeous.
assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers. You. >> start. Damn it. >> Your friend, tell a friend something. nice could change their life. sport. Hello beautiful people and. welcome back to our humble the bow with. the thunder note on this massive. overreaction Monday November 24th 20125. hour three of the program begins now. >> football is magical that's AJ Hawk the.
toxic tables here at boss conor at Tai. Schmidt one half of the hammer cowboys. AP Tone is here a nine-year NFL vet Der. the boys behind the glass are obviously. kicking ass on this particular reaction. Monday we appreciate that we also know. that The internet has been doing its. thing. I put out a tweet this morning. like I do every single Monday of. football season asking for people to. send in their thoughts, their emotions, their feelings about their favorite. football team. All you got to use is I. don't want to overreact. >> But this morning was an active one.
Obviously, there's a lot of different. feelings from a lot of different teams. and a lot of different communities. Ty, you go through these every single week. and pick out your favorites. I believe. we have 12 of them today. What was the. uh kind of the narrative or the sense. today, Ty? I'd say quite a few teams. have kind of just given up and they just. don't feel like overreacting anymore. And yeah, it's it's getting a lot harder. to find some of those ones. And then you. have days like today where it seems like. no matter how many scrolls you have, it's just a lot of people are upset with.
the Eagles and a lot of people are upset. with the Steelers. So like that was a. lot of it. >> Shout out Pennsylvania football. >> Yeah. Exactly. >> Yeah. Cuz Ohio football fans will be the. same way, but their teams are where they. are. >> Exactly. So, that is uh kind of how it. goes with that tribe of people or. peoples. Let's dive into these. overreactions, shall we? This is from. Tone Digs from Pittsburgh. # I don't. want to overreact. >> I'm going to tie my feet to cinder. blocks and accidentally drop a 30 lb. frozen turkey into the biggest pot of. boiling oil I can find because that will.
be less painful than having to watch. another snap of the team that calls. themselves the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hashtag important one here. Don't drink. and drive. hashappy Thanksgiving. Tone, do you think you were overreacting in. this moment or not? >> Uh, no, I don't. This and this al is a. bit of a dual threat uh overreaction. tweet. It's one, it's getting my point. across about how disgusted I am about. the current state of the Pittsburgh. Steelers while also reminding people, hey, happy Thanksgiving. It's. Thanksgiving week. Don't drink and drive. Wednesday night because it's a big drink.
and drive night for all you college. kids. Call an Uber, please. And also, >> if you haven't seen the fire safety. videos, be careful. You cannot drop a. frozen turkey into a pot of boiling oil. because then the whole house catches on. fire. But overall, >> and also cinder blocks to your feet. >> so that I would die. >> Yeah. So, >> so that I couldn't get away so that the. oil would get on me. I would catch on. fire so that I don't have to watch Josh. Allen drag his balls across the Steelers. face after 10 days rest after the worst. game that he's ever played. >> Got you. Liptin tea type situation. potentially around the corner. And uh.
>> I appreciate you said this thing has. layers. Now, let's not just read the. this is layered. There's there's a bunch. of different ways to kind of uh end it. and then watching the Steelers, I'd. rather do less than all those things. And it's because you knew that the team. wasn't going to go and every week you're. trying to prove that fact or do you. think you guys are just bad fans? You. guys are six and five, still in the. middle of playoff hunt. Aaron Rogers. come back healthy next week. You guys. still have it all in front of your team. Invested 30 million in a wide receiver. Trade made some big trades. Do you not.
think maybe you guys should just be. pumped up about the whole entire journey. of the Pittsburgh Steelers this year? >> Kind of. But it's also because I'm a. [ __ ] idiot and I had hope going into. this game. I said, "Oh, the boys are. playing all right right now. The Bears, you know, they might be a paper tiger, okay, and we're going to be able to. prove that on Sunday." No, we were not. We're the more of the paper tiger, the. worst of the paper tigers, the the the. >> the tracing paper where you can barely. you don't you can see through the paper. That's what the Pittsburgh Steelers are. right now. Um it's a mess. I let them I. let them play with my emotions every. single week and season and just for the.
same [ __ ] to happen every single. >> A lot of people giving up, right? >> Yep. >> Six and five. >> Six and five already tone. >> AJ had a ball left. >> What? >> Did you watch any of the game? >> Yeah, of course. What do you mean they. could have won that game? >> Could have. >> Uh, okay. But we all kind of knew, which. is what I think Steelers fans are. saying. That's what Steelers fans are. >> saying. It's like the same dumb [ __ ]. happens. We're up uh I think it was. 14-7. We're on the 30 going in. um run. the worst tush push of all time. So. instead of going up 21-7, uh they get.
the ball and then Kobe back and make it. 1414. So it's like, oh, that's exactly. what. >> But didn't you guys have an innovative. tush push? >> We did have a sick innovative tush push. push from Kenneth Gainwell. Uh he got. down to the one and then we scored on. the next play. That was sick. That was. cool. That was something that we don't. normally do. >> Steelers fans are certainly going. through it and they have been all. season, especially with the ride that. it's been. And Aaron Rogers will say, "Re Lax, dude, why don't we relax? We. still got a lot of games left." But. Pittsburgh fans also going through it. because you remember talking about rides. couple weeks ago. It was said that the. Pittsburgh Pirates were possibly maybe.
going to be primed up to make a deal of. $80 million for a free agent signing. And I literally in real time once. reading this headline said, "That's not. real. That sounds fake. How is that even. possible that they were ready to almost. potentially prime up a multi-million. dollar offer that they've never done. before?" Oh, well the guy signed to the. other place, but they were going to make. the offer. That's exciting. Turns out. that's all [ __ ] They were never. going to do anything. Never forced to do. anything. This all came together so.
quick. We didn't even get a chance to. really wrap our minds about. But maybe. maybe. >> I got a simple. >> Maybe they're going to. >> we're just going to trust what the. athletic puts out. Now, >> it's a fair question. A. >> lot of journalism stuff happening right. now all around us. Let's just keep it. moving. All I'm saying is fans. It's all. angles. Yeah. But the pens. good. >> Still good. Okay. >> Riverhounds. >> Riverhounds just won the whole goddamn. thing. Z 000. Won the whole thing.
>> Wow. >> Yeah. >> Soccer. That's soccer, right? >> Yeah. Riverhound just won the USL, brother. >> That was on TV, actually. I saw a little. bit of it on TV, I believe, this. weekend. >> CBS. Yes, I watched it as well. That. thing won the penalties after a really. ky 000 affair. the Riverhounds goalie. was standing on his head basically all. damn US season certainly through the USL. playoffs and uh it goes to penalties. local Pittsburgh guy Meister I believe. was his name is that Meister's last name. uh Pittsburgh kid went up St. Claire,
very good player. He had a penalty. scored. I think all the boys did. So, uh, yeah, congrats to Pittsburgh. Riverhounds. Pittsburgh Penguins are. good. Pirates were maybe potentially. going to possibly think about maybe. spending money sometime because they got. the Sai Young pitcher and the Pittsburgh. Steelers are still six and five. They're. still six and five. There's Pittsburgh. Riverhounds right there. Chance. >> What's the What's the USL? Is this. affiliated with the, you know, the other. one? >> No. So, the MLS. >> is the MLS and then the USL I believe. would be considered the one right below. >> Yep. So, like if this was in relegation.
world, like in the uh in the the England. area, I believe the Riverhounds would be. going up to the Premier League because. and then three of the bottom teams will. be going down to this particular league. But there's no relegation. There's. owners who've spent money on MLS teams. and owners that haven't spent money on. MLS teams. So, the owners that spend the. money on MLS teams are saying, "Why. would we ever in a million years agree. to potentially go to a smaller league? We wouldn't." Okay? England has that cuz. it's been hundreds of years. That's how. they do it. We're not signing up for. that. Even though everybody in America.
thinks it would be awesome for American. sports and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. probably win the MLS if the Vancouver. White Caps don't. Did you see this? >> I don't think so, >> buddy. Bur halter. >> What league? >> What day was this? >> MLS. >> Saturday night enter is going to win. that. >> No. Vancouver's got the best ball. striker in the history of the United. States of America named Sebastian. Burough Halter. This guy is the boy of. Greg Burhalter. This boy is a player and. they won in penalties over the weekend. against another team,
>> LAFC. >> There it is. They're good. >> Two of the best teams. They got Sonnie. from uh Tottenham Hotspurs. Paid him. like $15 million to get him to LA. He. scored two scored a free kick in the. 95th to tie it. >> Where they getting that money? >> I did see that. That free kick was. absurd. >> White Caps won it uh in penalties. Bur. Halter took the first one. >> Bur Halter is a guy we need to just know. this. When the World Cup comes around, we are going to be pumped that we know. Bur Halter. I think he's going to make a. couple free kicks uh in the World Cup. I. think he'll probably potentially take.
shirt off at some point. I think he's. got a 14-pack. Very, very handsome. Loves America. Loves America. Was born. in London. His dad American playing for. Crystal Palace. Obviously, all that. stuff, but he's like very proud to be an. American, which is what we this is what. we need on this team. He's not the only. one. A bunch are. And he was on uh the. concave pod and him, Gumpy, and Jeff. Cameron were having a conversation, which is really cool. So, they're. becoming like a men's national US men's. national team podcast basically, which. is very awesome. But I went in there to. talk to him and I said, "Hey, it feels.
like your team, we're not going to be. just flopping all over the place, right? We're not doing America doesn't like. whenever our team flops." He goes, "Absolutely not. We got dogs everywhere. We're not floppers." Like, that's what. he said. It's like a point. They got a. fight two games ago. It's like, >> oh yeah, I saw some of that. Are are we. favorites to win the World Cup? >> Uh, we should be, but we're not. People. are sleeping on us. People are sleeping. on. Yep. I like that. Right where we. want to be. But remember, Ponchettino. gets hired very late in the World Cup. cycle to become the US men's national. team coach. Ponchettino has had success. in the past and is a dog. English is. certainly his second language, but it.
was very late and everybody thought the. US men's national team was kind of. ruining it, but he had a mindset the. entire time like, I don't care about the. Gold Cup. I don't care about the Super. Duper Cup. I don't care about this other. cup. I care about the World Cup. And he. was trying to find his team and set in. the culture. And I think they found it. company. Wouldn't we all agree with. that? I think that is legit. And it's. we're not floppers. We're dogs. And we. are very proud to be an American. That. that is kind of what it feels like. >> Yeah, they're very talented bunch. And. the key part is here they're in pot one. for the draw cuz they're a host. So you. get a nice favorable draw to get into.
the knockout round and then just take. off from there. >> And if you get into the knockout round, obviously that's when you can just start. really, you know, taking over, gaining. steam. And from Luna to obviously Bur. Halter, we still got Pithic. >> who will be a player. We got studs. >> He scored. Pissic scored a massive goal. in the Milan derby yesterday, too. Like, everyone's balling right now. >> Yeah. >> And the goalie, isn't Aren't both of our. goalies good? >> Freeze stood on his head last night for. NYCFC to make a massive upset in the MLS.
Cup as well. >> Yeah. So, I think we have and our team. will fight you, which I think is all we. really want. >> Most important. >> Yeah. We're not flopping around. You. actually quote tweeted the Pona clip and. said, "If this team's not flopping, I. can be back in on them." And I think. that's a real thing. >> Yeah. I don't really care if we win or. lose, but if we go out there and we look. soft and lose, that's a problem. If we. go out there and beat the [ __ ] out of. teams and then lose, let's go soccer. Like, I'm in. >> Let's go soccer. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Go ahead, AJ. You feel the same way? >> No, I'm saying they're going to we as. long score doesn't matter. As long as.
like, you know, you played the US team. Like, you're you're beat up pretty good. Hopefully, we win the game, but you want. to be that team that everybody is scared. to play because they're they're. physically intimidated by how your your. pace of play and the pressure you put. on. >> Pace of play. Isn't that the thing with. Ponch? Ponch has a relentless pace of. play. Like kind of like Carlile. Kind of. like Carlau. We run people off the. field. I think. >> he's the best coach in the world. >> Who's that? >> Ponch. Punch. Ponchettino. The best of. all time. Much better than poop. guardiola. I'll tell you that much. >> Oh, you're saying bad things about Poop. Guardiola. I don't I don't think you.
know Pep at all. >> No, I I I don't. I just I know he's a. lot of people would consider him like. the greatest skipper of all time, but. he's no Punch Ponchettino. Know that. I. know that. You know, Ponch Ponchettino. actually played in close at Burnley at. one point. >> No big deal. >> No. >> Yeah. >> Espanuel. >> Oh [ __ ]. >> Thank god. Okay. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. >> Bringing Burnley tactics. I mean all of. a sudden. >> me too actually. That is much better. No. thanks Burnley. >> Yeah. Respect. Respect. Respect.
>> What position? >> All of them. >> Whichever one you need. >> The most important ones. >> Yeah. >> Or primarily center back. >> I know what those are. >> Did you hear him talk to the media? No. Oh, it was awesome. >> You should You would like him. >> I do like him. I love him. >> No, but you would like You would like to. hear him. >> I love him. I don't care what he says. >> Absolutely not. >> Until the World Cup, I I certainly will. not be looking at anything like Bur. Halter. I I love this guy. I don't give. a rat's ass until he's dawning the stars. and stripes, you know. Good luck.
>> I'm just telling you to give a little. just a little breath. These are some. names, >> okay? It doesn't find its way to my. algorithm. I don't know why. I don't. know why. >> I'm hoping Ponchettino. Ponchino. Ponchettino. >> I will I'll take all the Ponch. Ponchettino. I can I can stomach. >> You remember the Elco press? >> Yes. >> interaction a few weeks ago. Yes. >> Ponchettino. Same thing. And English. second language. So him trying to find. words to tell these people they need to. [ __ ]. >> I do like that. >> Yeah. I'll tell you it is. >> I'll watch it after the show. >> And he loves America. He loves America.
He talks about the greatest job. The. whole thing. It's like, "All right, dude. Let's go win this thing. It's in. America." And uh you said the hype is. real down in South Florida obviously. >> Oh yeah, absolutely. I mean obviously. it's a melting pot. A lot of people from. a lot of different parts of the world, but people are very very excited. I. believe [ __ ] maybe last night. My driver. was telling me it's going to be seven. games here or seven different places or. something like that. Seven or eight. So. yeah, they're excited. >> All the games are here. >> What? It's the host nation. I hope we. have that many. >> Yeah, I think they got like 60 games. here. >> or seven places, seven venues.
>> Oh, like in Miami they're. >> I mean it's soccer so I don't [ __ ]. know. Okay. Yeah. Oh, yeah. >> I've been I've been in so many of those. combos. The guy said the number seven. and then you. >> where you from again. >> Let me pull Let me pull Let me pull. Seven. There were seven somethings, man. Seven somethings. Feels like it's an. important number. >> 11 cities in the US. >> Yeah. But seven games probably in Miami. >> In Miami. Yeah. >> Probably seven games in Miami. >> It's going to be hot down there for now.
>> Isn't the Wait, is the final? No, it's. at Jerry World. >> Yeah, it is. >> Okay. Oh, you know that. >> Yeah. >> You know, Jerry Washing from the 50. grass in. >> uh I I think everywhere. Yeah. >> Every single stadium, >> which is obviously a big talking point. It certainly will be about the NFL. players saying, "What's this all about? It's [ __ ] another sports, you know, it's a world sport.". >> We don't need the We don't need the. stadium where it rise and lowers and. they grow it underneath. Like there It's. true. Like there's still seams in when. it rises up, you know? >> It's actually at Metife. The finals at.
Metife. Oh, >> they did the Club World Cup final there, too. Man, >> the super duper 100 million one. >> Yeah, it's terrible. >> Why would they do it out? >> Club World Cup. >> Yeah, let's not. We got domes. >> Like, what do we. >> We got domes everywhere. >> Let's have perfect weather. It's a Super. Bowl. >> It's a World Cup, I guess. >> Soccer doesn't look right in a dome. >> I agree. >> In my opinion, I'm. >> Yeah, I agree. It should be outside. Are. they going to get that outdoor air. conditioning? >> When I watch Atlanta, I want to throw. up. >> That was Qar. Um. >> Oh, I don't think we have the same.
weather. Maybe Miami. I don't know. Maybe down in Miami it could get real. hot, especially with that humidity down. there. But in Cutter, sorry. I believe. they did have to make outside air. conditioners blowing on the field for. because of how hot it was. It's very hot. over there. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Very, very hot. >> Here we got We'll see how the fields. are. Should be should be good. It's. America. >> Millions of people died. >> Let's go to the next reaction for our. football. The best football. Uh Lord Zto. Viva Zto riding high. # I don't want to. overreact, but Ben Johnson is the. ultimate differencemaker. 12 weeks into.
his first season, he already has more. wins than Eblu's had in his entire time. with Dub Bears. We got the guy. hashtagdub Bears with incredible AI work. out of Zitto there with Ben Johnson in. the crown on. They should feel great. about where they're at. Zitto's buzzing. around a Thunderdome. >> Oh yeah, >> the peak. optimizing of the Thunderdome is about. to happen with ZTO around here. >> We had a ice cream maker in here for the. last three years. Nobody's ever touched. it. automatically makes ice cream with it.
We have a uh margarita maker that has. been flipped into an ice cold Jack. Daniel. >> Got ice cold booze flowing up. >> We got more internet bouncing through. this place. We have stuff being hung on. walls. I mean, Zitto right now is in his. bag, I think, is how you would describe. it. But also with the Bears winning, I. think has helped his entire mood. >> Oh, yeah. >> I think it life is a lot better for ZTO. And. >> how about his gout? How about the gout. though with the the victory stakes? Is. that happening? >> It's coming. >> Yeah, these are big stakes. house and. and obviously he should enjoy them all.
And I like how tender and juicy they all. look whenever he posts it. It's. obviously a very very well-cooked thing, but the Chicago Bears are for real. And. uh they are duck kings of the North and. uh everybody that's a Bears fan is. living like kings right now, including. Zitto. And uh this is this is what. Sunday nights are now for ZTO. >> Yeah. >> It's no longer just a celebration. When. I was growing up, we go down to a. Pirates game because it was a cheap. ticket. We're going to see Zambelly. fireworks for sure. If the Pirates win, that's a bonus. For Zitto, if the Bears.
won, I'm gonna eat a steak. Yeah, I'm. just gonna treat myself to a steak. It. was such an abnormal thing. It was such. like a holiday, a celebration of sorts. Now it's just a weekly occurrence. It's. a new routine. I'm eating [ __ ] out of a. perfectly cooked steak. I'm going to. have a little broccoli and I'm going to. pack it down. >> That is the biggest piece of broccolini. I've ever seen in my life. That's I. mean, it looked like he went out to his. backyard and ripped an entire bush out. of the ground. Zto. >> Zito, you're not saying you're cooking. this, right? You ordered this.
>> This. >> you ordered it. That looked like a 1933. or something like that was 1933. >> Who? >> Havern. >> H Tavern. Good. >> Which executive chef is, you know, St. Elmo's guy. So, >> yeah. Same broccoli. I've seen that. broccolini before. Hey, you earned it, Zeke. >> Baby Z. >> You earned it, Z. Z. >> Let's go to the next one, shall we? This. one is obviously a loud Philly crowd. This one's from Michael Gettys at.
Michael Gettys. # I don't want to. overreact, but if Kevin Puo didn't wake. up with a horse's head in his bed today, then I don't know what the value of Big. Dom has for the birds. Fire Pulo and. that field a punt at your own three. Gibson into the sun and move on to the. fraud bears. # gobirds, [ __ ]. >> Wow. >> Love that. Love everything about that. But not well. Like I I saw a lot of. people calling for Big Dom to do what.
Big Dom's supposed to do here. >> Bingo. >> For the good of the city, Big Dom, I. thought that's what it was about. That's. what everybody's kind of saying. Coach. Siri, he has to support Pullo. He hired. him, >> right? >> What the city of Philadelphia seemingly. the Johns are saying over there is, "Hey, Dom, that's not your job. Hey, Big. Dom, your job is to look out for the. city. That is kind of what you do around. here. What are you doing? Is that is. that a just you were catching? >> Yeah, without a doubt. And that's why I. kind of said, you know what, I'll go. with the Godfather route. Uh the horse's. head in the bed, I think, is better than. people basically saying, "Hey, Big Dom, go take this guy somewhere and shoot him.
in the back of the head." Which is what. a lot of it was. Like people don't want. him fired. They don't want him out of. town. Philly, >> they want him [ __ ] dead. >> Philly. >> Yeah, exactly. And you know, Sirani by. association gets a lot of that as well, but he's a head coach of an eight and. three football team. So, you know, I I. think Sirani, you know, you maybe maybe. you're right to say, "Hey, Kevin Yubau, you know, this guy sucks.". >> Paublo, >> I think you can just get rid of that. Kevin Yubo, this guy this guy sucks at. his job. That's what everybody's saying.
And this isn't like a oneweek thing. This has been going on since. week one. >> Every problem that the Eagles have, >> the Eagles fans think. >> if we get rid of this guy, it's all. gone. Think about how happy AJ will be. AJ will be getting the ball. Jaylen. won't have to deal with this entire. thing. Maybe Saquon can do the Saquon. stuff. This guy not the same as last. year. Last year good. Remember this year. not good. This guy move him AJ. That'd. be a crazy move. We just saw Chip uh get.
fired out there in Las Vegas. Obviously. moves have been made mid-season before. Pittsburgh Steelers fired their. offensive coordinator last year. It is. something that is feasible and possible. Do you think it's plausible with the. Philadelphia Eagles? >> I think anything is possible with the. Eagles. I feel like Yeah, with the. reaction that we get every single game. they play like, okay, let's say the. Eagles pulled that game out and they won. last yesterday then like are we still. killing killing what are you calling. them now? >> Yes. Pullo, what do you call. >> Yes. are you going? I have seen like I.
even saw a clip when Nick Fos is on a. podcast talking about just like all the. route combinations, how they're kind of. predictable and they're not, you know, they're not playing to the strengths of. their receivers and everything. So, I'm. sure there's definitely something to it. I cannot imagine what those meetings are. like. What What do you think the staff. meetings are like there where you're. trying like every like just trying to. figure it out, trying to get going? What. do you think? Hey, we're about to get. going. I mean, AJ was AJ was hot early. He he had multiple targets early in that. game, multiple balls. Like, you would. think that would calm things down, but. it didn't really. Do you think Siri's.
telling coach Patullo that on the. internet they're calling him Pyubo and. he doesn't think that? Do you think. Sirani's opening meetings with that or. how do you think that goes? >> I would assume so. He's probably. praising Vic Fangio for about 15 minutes. and be like unfortunately Kevin. everybody hates your [ __ ] gun. I. don't really got anything positive to. say about you. We better keep winning, you know, cuz you remember Brian Johnson. a couple years ago kind of same deal. You know, I didn't fire him mid-season, but as soon as we got beat in the. playoffs, you know, I beheaded the guy. Had to. Didn't have a choice. And.
>> why don't you call plays? >> Cuz I'm the. >> I saw MCDC do I saw MCDC do it. I saw. MCDC do it. >> Yeah. He looked pretty good. You know, you needed Jam Jir Gibbs to run for 800. yards to beat the [ __ ] Giants. So. yeah, you know, hey, if we want to act. like MCDC's, you know, Tom Landry or, you know, Bill Walsh, we could do that. That's fine. I'm the [ __ ] CEO of this. football team. I hire Kevin Patulo. If. he can't get the job done, you know, that's that's going to be on him. And. then maybe next year, you know, I I do. dust off the old playbook and I call.
play. Yeah, we'll see. I don't know. >> Wow. >> I don't know. But, you know, hey, this. is my decision. >> and I understand this guy sucks at his. job, but it's close to holidays, but. Thanksgiving is right around corn, Christmas, you know. I'm not. >> What's your favorite side? What's your. favorite Thanksgiving side? >> Uh, I eat dog food only for uh. Thanksgiving. Don't even Don't even cook. a turkey. Takes way too long. 25 pounder. that takes you what? Like 16 18 hours. I'm a football coach. Like I got [ __ ]. time to do that. Of course not. So, you. know, we'll see. I might do like a. >> kibble and bits. Of course, bacon mix.
>> Yeah, exactly. If if I'm really feeling. up to it, you know, I might get like one. of the nice bags of pyina, you know, like you feed your dog if he has a bad. tummy. Like I maybe I do that for. Thanksgiving special occasion, but I. don't have time to eat. Okay. They're. call. >> You got a lot of drama over there. >> Yeah. They're calling for my job every. [ __ ] week. won a Super Bowl last. year. I'm eight and three this year and. they're acting like I'm [ __ ] you. know, Brand Staley. So, I I need to, you. know, I'm trying to just keep my head. above water every single week. >> All right, let's go to the next. overreaction. That's probably good idea,
coach. Thank you for joining us, Coach. Tyani from Corey Buchanan. # I don't. want to overreact, BUT THE BUCKS ARE. COOKED. Get toilet in this entire shitty. coaching staff Walmart application. Absolutely embarrassing the way the. Bucks defense has played the last three. games. Come back soon, Baker. You're our. only hope. Baker getting hurt. Blowout. loss like that. Defense obviously. playing against a juggernaut. I I mean. it has looked not good for the Bucks. Is. that three straight now? >> Yeah. >> Losses. >> I think Pats Bills and then.
>> three straight I think. >> Yeah. Patriots Bills and now Yeah. Yesterday. >> it looked so good there for a while. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, even with all the. early wins, Baker was making magic late. >> Three straight and four or five. >> They're walk-off field goals. >> Yeah. Last play, boys. Last play. >> Yeah, exactly. They were close, close, close. And then now you get kind of this. mid-season stretch. Guys are banged up. Now the quarterback's banged up and this. defense not been doing them any favor. >> They started five and one. >> This happened a couple times now with.
this Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Baker at. the home. And obviously injuries are a. part of that whole thing. And Baker's uh. happy it's nothing, you know, structurally. I mean, but what Matthew. Stafford did last night was outrageous. I don't know if anybody's stopping him, but obviously getting blown out is not. good news for a team that has hopes. Every time they show coach Todd Bulls on. a sideline, there's no nothing. >> I thought the same thing last night. >> They show them a lot and it's just. normally just the same exact reaction. I. assume I assume he's a guy that doesn't. want to get too high or too low, like. always wants to be the same. But your.
fans will definitely get to a point. where what does this guy do? I don't see. him doing it. >> Jim Caldwell was kind of in the same. boat. Mhm. >> Jim Codwell was uh my first head coach. Obviously was a head coach whenever we. went to the Super Bowl and lost to I. love this. I love everything about how. much fun they were having out there. But. uh he never really got too high or too. low. It was like always the same exact. guy. That's like kind of his style. That. was his strategy. That was his entire. technique. I wonder if Todd B is the. same way and they just catch him on. camera every time doing his thing and. then they go, "Well, we're continue to. lose. You're doing nothing, so we need.
to get better." I I do wonder how that. will go. >> Yeah. If you don't win, if you don't. win, no matter what, whether you're. like, say you're a super high energy guy. and the timeline's going crazy. Yeah. Or. you are very stoic and don't have much. reaction. If you're winning, you're the. genius and it's great. And if you're. losing, then you suck and they want you. fired. >> Yeah. Everything's sweet whenever you're. winning. And then Mr. Unlimity. starts losing some games and everybody. starts pointing fingers a little. differently. Let's go to the next. overreaction, shall we? Riley Lewis at. Lewis. Riley, I like how you did that. #.
I don't want to overreact, but Shane. Stankin is a fraud. >> Oh no, there are a lot of these today. I. was I was quite frankly I was shocked. >> Up four. He sounds like it up 14 on the. Chiefs and he thinks it's time to coast. It only took two weeks for this team to. go from first place in the AFC to not. making the playoffs. No way this team. wins in Klein Town or the Stride House. #cle house. Jeez Louise. >> No. >> That's a little bit too overreacting of. an overreaction here. They're still the. damn Chiefs. Okay. They're still the.
damn Chiefs. But on that note, I did not. like what I saw either. That was a tough. game to watch. I think a lot of flags. made it a very difficult game to watch. I mean, there was a flag on basically. every single play. And if there wasn't a. flag, there's people begging for uh. flags. And on the defensive front, feels. like if you run crossing routes against. us, we're in trouble. >> Feels like we are in trouble. And I. think this was something that coach Lou. Anorumo like circled and was excited. about. and Mooney obviously first game. back so who knows how game shape and. everything like that he is and how he.
will be going down there but. >> I think Louis Anaruma was excited we had. two number one corners so that he could. go man and then Andy Reid said that's. cute man that's really cute are they as. fast as our guys and are they going to. be able to run just directly across the. field every single time and they. >> they is this going to happen to us. against everybody or Rasheed Rice and. Xavier Worthy a little bit different. animals. >> yeah we'll figure it out was Patrick. Mahomes in Kansas City and you know they. just got to dominate. Move the ball too. well. They had 33 first downs to our 10.
He had 10 first downs all day and they. obviously dominated in the Yeah. 33 to. 10. So you're not going to win many ball. games even though we were up. Then late. in the game there was a time I think. around maybe five minute mark with round. midfield where we probably should have. went for it on fourth down because of. how the game was going. But yeah, when. you have the personnel, you got all pro. Mooney, you traded two first rounders. for Sauce Gardner, and you have Kenny. Moore, who's one of the highest paid, best nichs in the game, you know, you. got to be able to go men, then up front, you got to get home and I would like to. drop a robber in there, maybe get some.
more eyes on the quarterback to make. some plays on the football, but this was. a tough out, but I'm not I might call. him Shane Stink. They did a uh special. last night on football in America um. where it was like all for the first. three quarters Colts did a lot of. rushing three dropping eight and then. the fourth quarter they decided to go. all man and that's when they got beat. But I didn't know maybe this person who. tweeted this isn't a Colts fan because. everyone in the nation all the teams fan. bases realized. >> they had a chance up 11 to to kill the. Chiefs forever and they didn't.
>> All right. Don't hold that against us. >> There's a lot of people are. >> No, don't. We're a fun team. There's a. lot of people holding out against you. >> No, we're [ __ ]. >> You had a chance to kill them. >> No, but remember, >> they are who we thought they are and you. let them off the hook. >> Yeah, exactly. Didn't see any of that. stuff. >> That's the big thing, though. It's like. every in the last however many weeks, like if they had any type of lead, you. just saw the game away cuz Jonathan. Taylor was rushing for 150 to 200 yards. Yesterday was the first day where he. didn't have like an otherworldly game. I. think he Yeah, he had 16 rushes for 58.
yards. Like he he hasn't done that all. year. So, it was kind of just like one. of those, >> you know, it was just it was just the. Chiefs day. >> And there should be a limit on how many. times one guy can line up on Gon Cavs or. whatever the [ __ ] his name is cuz Chris. Jones just kept lining up on him. It was. just kind of over. >> Tony Romo kept saying Chris Jones under. pressure. This is all happening because. of Chris Jones. Chris Jones. Chris. Jones. Chris Jones. And they show the. replay and it's like, yeah, Chris Jones. was certainly dancing with Danny Dimes. there for a while yesterday. And uh. Danny Dimes made some big time throws. I.
like that to be said. We learn from this and we move forward. >> They were outside on the grass, too. >> Who you play next? >> It's big game. What's that? >> Big one. >> Houston. >> Huge game at home. Finally. >> Oh, >> back at the [ __ ] crib. >> That defense is on fire. >> As Arch Manning would say. Yeah, you're. right. Their def That's exactly what we. want in the. >> Great opportunity. Great opportunity for. the Colts. >> That's right. >> Is it Doug Mills? I hope not. >> No, it'll be CJ. >> Sure. Doug Mills has got a hot hand.
right now. >> according to Chef. >> Are you reading their reaction tweets or. is this really. >> No, that's that's me, brother. That's me. thinking Doug Mills. Imagine what he. would be doing if he was in Minnesota. right now. >> Oh my god. Douggee Mills and a Kevin. O'Connell offense. >> Oh my god. >> Oh jeez. Especially how Paul and Big. >> built for Minnesota. Yeah, >> he's. >> What's going on out there? >> Yeah, >> like Glennon. >> Exactly. >> Glennon should have been with KC. I. don't know if they ever cross path cuz. Glennon said hut and then.
>> boom. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> You know what I'm talking about. >> Yeah. >> Got to have good reach. >> Yeah. Bring him Osweiler. Could you. imagine? >> Oh my god. Cuz as long as you can get. the snap and then just see everything. You got to know everything going on. This is the Caleb story. Caleb reading. the defenses pre- snap, knowing where. he's supposed to go with the ball is a. huge that's a huge jump in football. knowledge. That's a big deal. If I'm a. Bears fan, that's what I'm maybe most. excited about is like before the snap. goes, you know that he knows what's.
happening because he's turning his back. and firing. That's a pick. If he doesn't. know what's he has to have full. conviction about what he's supposed to. do. So that's that's really good news. I. think if I'm a Bears fan, it's like, hey, he knows what the hell's going on. right now. And that's only going to. become more and more and more as they. go. And on the flip side, Minnesota. doesn't feel like that. Let's get to uh. a Minnesota reaction, shall we? It's. from Ethan Iberg. # I don't want to. overreact, but the Vikings are the most. doomed franchise in all history. Fourth. best win percentage with no Lombardi.
show for it. Allergic to finding a. franchise quarterback, yet always good. enough to not have a good draft pick. I'm ready to join D button and find a. new team. What do you think? >> Finally. I'm seeing more and more every. week. More and more. Come on. >> Especially as the season unravels. >> Don't let one franchise ruin your. [ __ ] happiness for what, five, six. months? Don't do it. >> Yeah, you can't do it. especially if. your team is one of those teams that. potentially ruins people's happiness. week in week out. Vikings should not be. that. Last year Super Bowl, that's the. big issue is like they had a team that.
we all thought could go on a run and uh. what all the experts were saying was if. we get any semblance of quarterback play. at quarterback for this Vikings team. with how they're built, this team will. be good. And also, don't look now. Maybe. they get better with JJ McCarthy. Actually, it's like, all right, >> stupid. Okay. >> We hear heard that a lot. >> A lot a lot of people saying that. And. then we heard Kevin Okonnell at the uh. owners meetings say the number one thing. he looks for in a quarterback is. accuracy. Ain't that what he said? >> Yeah. Was a good pass though. It was.
pretty. >> So like he got hit. >> That wasn't the one I was talking about. I was talking about the later. interception. >> Yeah. But it's like arm talent seemingly. is what they were looking for. or Jim. Harbaugh. Now granted, >> now granted, Jim Harbaugh was his. college coach and uh like he said it was. the greatest proday he's ever seen and. he people that. >> who's. >> Jim Harbaugh said it was the best proday. of all time. >> This is cool. >> Yeah, there's a lot of Harboss it feels. like in the media with JJ McCarthy. But. when he said that though, >> exactly a lot of people saying. >> the the the biggest poll or takeaway at.
least was Penn. It was like oh okay. accuracy. Penn is incredibly accurate, but then Pennix went to Atlanta at eight. and nobody had that build at all. So. maybe I mean I don't know. And then. Shawn Payeyton also, you know, people. are kind of circling back to Shawn. Payeyton saying like, I [ __ ] told the. Vikings we were trading up for J.J. McCarthy and guess what they did? They. traded up to [ __ ] steal him from us. and we wanted Bon eggs the whole time. So like it does feel as though. >> Sean said it in like 2024, I guess. >> Yeah. Yeah. Right. Right after during.
that press conference. So, I I mean, who. knows what happens, but sure seems like. they [ __ ] it up. >> People are saying, >> plain and simple. >> And the fans are getting new teams, more. teams. >> That's that that's the fourth winning. percentage. Fourth highest. >> Nick Mullen threw for 400 yards in this. offense. >> twice. >> Four 400 yards. >> That's the biggest. >> Come on now. >> Nick can spin it. >> Yeah, he can. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah, he can. That's the biggest. knock on JJ though. >> because of this KOC offense and how many.
people. >> he's the greatest wide receiver in the. history of football. >> and him just being like, "Yeah, I got to. be part of the solution here. You know, it doesn't matter what quarterback is. I. got to do my thing." And then he starts. seeing these balls go. Coach Oonnell, >> these are the worst thrown footballs. I've ever I couldn't even tell you the. last time I had throws like this, you. know, because he's obviously experienced. bad throws throughout some point. >> Sure. >> Yeah. >> Somewhere in high school, maybe.
>> played with Carson for a little bit, too. >> Yeah. That I'm now I'm just thinking. after Tai pointed out that throw. >> that um that little video that we saw of. the receivers getting ready for the game. this week. >> that if they were on those things, if. they had those gimmicks. >> I missed this. >> No, you didn't. >> Yeah. What video. >> you talking about? the guy on the. stilts. >> Oh, yeah. >> Walking. >> Oh, >> yeah. >> That would have been right. >> It would have been one. >> Yeah. So, maybe he does have a little. bit of u what would that be called? Um.
>> where it objects in a mirror. Yeah. Maybe it's depth perception not great. Maybe wide receivers look bigger, >> you know, like maybe it's so blurry. they're like stacked on top of each. other. >> Does he need. >> So he thinks he's hitting him right in. the helmet. Turns out he's 12 feet. >> Jameus situation. Yeah, he needs. >> Lasic. >> Boom. Nine needs better eyes. That could. be the problem. >> I'm back in. >> All right. You need to get lasic. It. helps. Jamus is catching touchdowns now. >> Yeah, >> I haven't seen that one. I I've heard.
the depth near side, far. I haven't seen. where a sixoot guy looks 16 ft. >> No, it's just blurry. You know how. people say they see two different. things. Instead of seeing two different. ones, they're just stacked on top of. each other. So, JAMUS, LOOK AT GET OFF ME. HE SAID HE'S. available to do anything to make the. team better, including play tamus. >> He's the best. >> Love everything about him. Very thankful. that football is uh exists so that we. can. >> live in a world where Jameus Winston can.
catch a touchdown and stiff arm. somebody, break a tackle, and shake. somebody at the same time. >> Shout out Jameus doing his thing. Always. He when they put this play in, >> he probably told somebody, "I'mma catch. that thing. >> I'mma shake a guy. I'm gonna make a. stiff arm spin move, break a tackle, touchdown. Just why I can I assume that. was He's always expecting the most epic. outcome, Jameus. Yeah. Which is why I. think we love him. >> Yeah. >> Probably told Gunnar just I don't care. who's I don't care if I'm D. Just throw. that [ __ ] up. I'm going to go get it. >> Yeah. I'm a Heisman [ __ ] I mean, not.
to mention too, we inside but we. outside. We outside but we inside. >> before the game starts. >> Of course. And that's another pregame. speech that just go ahead and save it, lock it in for the rest of time for. football. I love Jamus. >> That's a tough down for that defender. >> Yeah, I I I have his name, but I I feel. like I should say he's hurt enough. >> He's hurt enough. He is a good player. Detroit won this game. And. >> Jameus Winston talked about how happy he. was that Gunnar gave him a shot.
>> You know, he said every once in a while, you just need your quarterback to give. you a chance. >> You heard him start like talking about. that and Gunnar pulling the trigger for. him and for all of us really. >> Yeah. >> Thank you for throwing that, Gunnar. Thank you for throwing that. >> Let's go to the next overreaction, shall. we? This is from Hawk Lurker at Lurker. Sports. Interesting. # I don't want to. overreact, but don't look now, but the. Cowboys are all the way back. The. gambler is [ __ ] back, baby. And this. team has a belief in a cause. Eight. straight wins to end a season is on the. table. Undertaker gift of them coming. back from the dead. But it's not just. the dead. It might be three miles under.
earth. Is there a hundred billion. dollars of natural gas also flowing. through that building right now as that. team's cooking? I think Jerry Jones. excited. He's doing his press. conferences after games where it's like. it's 1921 and everybody has their. recorders around his face just as close. as possible. A co nightmare. I I I can't. believe we ever got these. Remember. there was a time we never thought we'd. have moments like this. >> Yeah. >> That was normally with the advancement. of technology and kind of how things go. nowadays. Jerry's the only one that. walks right into a media pool and says, "Come on in. Come on in as close as you.
can." He's got 10 microphones within six. inches of his mouth. Okay. just just. everywhere from all different angles and. everybody wants to hear what he has to. say. Jerry has created something special. and I think he thinks what he did with. his team is magical. I think he's pumped. up about where they're at and once again. their team is what 55 and one. Yeah, >> they're a 500 team with a tie. 500 team. with a tie and all anybody's talking. about is. >> Jerry Jones got these Dallas Cowboys. maybe ready to run for a playoff. He's a. [ __ ] genius whenever it comes to.
business and picking up George Pickkins. Obviously a massive move loading up on. the defense. Quinton Williams coming in. like a leader of that entire team. It's. like Jerry Jones should be taking a. victory lap. Are they really back. though? >> I mean, they're still in it. You never. want to be, you know, 55 and one at this. point in the season, but it's all in. front of them. You got the highest paid. quarterback in the league who's still. spinning it. You got two number one wide. receivers. You got a good run game, good. old line, good pieces on defense. Once. again, I still think Flu is a good. defensive coach. You know, you just got. to figure it out. If they start getting. these turnovers and making plays, man,
it's not going to be a team you want to. face down the stretch. I'll tell you. that much. >> Yeah. and Thanksgiving. Uh we kind of. had a little bit of a 30 secondond. conversation, Ty and I, about how Chiefs. offensive guard Trey Smith, all pro. stud, he's out for them. For the Eagles, the strength of their O line, of course, they got, you know, big on the outside. or not not, but whatever you get it. Um. Jordan Milada on the left and Lane. Johnson was out, but their middle three. is stout and OSA, Quinnon Williams, and. Kenny Clark kind of had their way with. them. And now you're talking about one.
of the best offensive line for the. Chiefs being out in the middle. Like. kind of love the Cowboys against the. Chiefs on Thanksgiving. But I don't. know. >> Matchups. Matchups are a thingu. And. Jerry wanted the interior of that. defensive line to be stout. Got to be. able to stop the run. Got to be able to. press the pocket from inside. Make these. quarterbacks start dancing with their. feet. That's what we do. Philadelphia. Eagles. Jerry Jones knows ball. I'm. trying to win games. Now. >> they got Maka and we got what we got and. we tied. Next question is how he talked. about Maka after the tie ball game with. the Green Bay Packers. But it's like, why not get excited about this Cowboys.
team? And they got a lot of potential. bunker mentality over there. Yeah, a lot. of bunker mentality. >> And they're really fun to watch, too, on. top of it. I mean, like that that game. yesterday where both teams seemed like. they each fumbled about 30 times in the. last 10 minutes. Nobody really wanted to. win, but God. And then you look at. Brandon Aubrey, it's like if if they're. ever in a close game, like you have to. feel pretty good if you're a Cowboys. fan, like, hey, we have a massive. advantage here. We got to, you know, wherever we're at on the field. Brandon. Aubry might be good from 75. So like if.
you're a Cowboys fan, I think you're in. a pretty good spot today. >> Long snapper recovered of punt fumble as. well. >> Obviously Anger hit a bomb that set that. entire thing up. Aubrey making a. gamewinner. Had a miss earlier. Yeah, >> had a miss earlier which was alarming. I. almost Whoa. I thought there was a. glitch in the TV. That's what it's like. for them down there. And Shotty. obviously enjoying the high life with a. backwards visor after a game which we. love. Elijah Clark absolute monster. AJ, I know you've seen the clip by now. Obviously, everything that's good with. football happens in this play for Elijah.
Clark. AJ. >> Yeah, I know. I know it's been talked. about a bunch and shown, but it's Yeah, it's one of those plays. Great play by. the gunner as well. Unbelievable. Like. the gunner here playing or what's 21's. name again? >> Corner. Yeah, Sydney Brown. >> Corner. Yeah, sorry. Sydney Brown. That. dude's explosive and very sudden as. well. But yeah, you talk about like. Yeah, that right there is the. encapsulate that that's what effort is. Like that's you're never out of the. fight. It's it's going back to the old. picture, the old the old duck, the frog. eating the duck and his neck, his hand. around his neck. Like I said a couple. weeks ago. Like that's an example of.
that right there in that play. I'll get. knocked down five times. I don't care. I'll get up and still cause a fumble. >> Yeah, the duck is eating the frog. The. frog before going down the duck's. throat. >> Him not falling in. Yeah, great bounce. >> That second time is crazy. >> Especially the hip. I mean, Sydney. Brown, to your point, perfect repam. >> this time. Boom. >> 14 plays this really well, too. He walls. off uh his guy 80 right there. Like he. walls him off the entire time and he's. the other one who gets in on this play. too. Like that was just perfect. >> So you got to clip him. You got to hit.
him in the back if you're going to hit. him so he can't really do anything. Yeah, it's beautiful. >> Yeah, the leverage too. Front shoulder. of returner cuz returner's taking it to. field there. So not getting out. leverage. Beautiful. Him getting back. into his lane. Now anytime you're behind. somebody, not good. Okay, that's not. good. But obviously he was knocked off. track by Cindy Brown. So him getting. back out there making a play, it's all. beautiful. It's all It's absolutely. beautiful. It is. That is awesome to. watch. I get so excited. I almost went. outside to see if I could play. I. thought to myself, how many Elijah are. out there? There it is.
>> There it is. >> There we go. >> Never give up. >> This a different one? Yeah, that's a new. one. >> It's got pink eye, I think. >> All right. So, who wins? >> Frog definitely won this one. >> Frog. Yeah, frog got this one. >> That bird does not look like it's good. >> I think it's going to die anyway. >> Yeah, but is that lock jaw? Like, if. this thing dies right now, can you even. open the mouth? You're talking about. whenever uh a human body uh is uh. rigamortis. Yep. >> That's what you're talking about. >> Uh yes. >> Well, I wonder. cuz it appears if Frog still has life at.
this moment. Oh, yeah. >> Right. Cuz it's still gripping. >> He's got a tight grip. Yeah. >> But is that rigamortis as well? >> Could be. >> Are they both dead? >> A draw of draws. >> maybe. But no, he let him go. He the the. duck has to make a decision. Hey, do I. open my mouth and let this guy out or do. I just get choked to death? So, eventually he's probably going to let go. and then they both live, but the frog. goes and he kills him from behind after. he says fair game. >> Okay, where's that at? Is that on the. next page? >> That's the next slide, but we don't have. that one with us.
>> Okay. Unfortunately, we don't have. >> The frog always survives. That's the. point of the poster. Never give up. >> Yep. >> Oh, I thought it was just like, "Hey, >> that frog's still alive today.". >> Is this the same frog from the other. picture? >> Uh, the same end. How do we know it's. not about the duck though being like, "Never give up. Keep. >> eating. Chew your [ __ ] food. >> Keep chewing.". >> Yeah. There's a chance. >> There's a chance. Get it done. Even if. there isn't room, >> get it done. >> That water foul has no chance. >> Is that what that is? >> It's not a dock.
>> I thought it was a stork, honestly. First time I saw it. >> Me, too. But it could. >> I tell you what, I feel like. northeasterners better with the uh water. birds. >> Yeah, probably. cuz uh mo bunch of. different kinds especially with the uh. weather change. >> Okay. So we have cranes here in Indie on. water. We have American bald eagles. >> Yeah. >> We salute them. >> Mhm. >> We got ducks. >> Yes. >> Mards. >> Canadian geese. >> Those are the worst. >> loons. They don't have We need to send. them back to Canada.
>> Not a doubt. >> The Canadian geese. >> We are right in a great uh migration. pattern uh to see all sorts of water. birds. >> Yeah. So there is a lot but none of. those ones the ones that are out on the. ocean there's there's those ocean birds. >> the goals. >> there it is. Yeah there's a lot of ocean. birds. Yeah those types of things cuz. >> Yeah. birds dinosaurs. >> some. >> cuz we all know like alligator. crocodile. >> Yeah. Direct descendants for sure. dinosaurs. >> Yeah. A lot of people say that dinosaurs. had feathers. So. >> the American eagle the bald eagle. Mhm.
>> When that thing opens up like this, first of all, you hear it when it's. taken. off thing, but it's got a little body in. there. >> IT'S GOT A LITTLE BODY under here where. it looks like you could actually body. punch it a couple times. That's how big. that thing is as it's moving. >> Good luck. >> It's like that's a big [ __ ] bird. right there. >> That is a huge bird. And it does. whatever it wants. >> Mhm. >> Owns the sky. >> Picks up a duck. Uh. >> duck. >> Mhm. >> Hits it on the ice. >> Yep.
>> Night. Night night. Now, if that was a. bald eagle in that picture, sorry, frog, you're dead. >> Frog's gone. >> He ain't giving up. >> You got to try that. >> He will. When his head's gone, >> that thing's over. Yeah. As soon as it. picks it up. As soon as it picks it up. I think the eagle would actually do this. with his claws. >> Oh, that's fun. >> Tal talons are so sharp. It's probably. He's probably piercing him right through. the frog. Anyway, they're going out his. back and coming out his stomach and he's. dead instantly. >> Yeah, you're right. Cuz especially with. the soft skin, smaller beak as well, so. the first bite is just face and brain. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Out. >> Yeah. That's what we're saying is that.
frog gave up before it even knew it was. in a fight. >> Yeah. >> And it wasn't it that gave up. It was. the body that just kind of disappeared. >> Fair. >> These eagles are smart, man. >> They are smart. Separate from others. They'll use their things like little. dex. They got dexterity. >> Oh, yeah. >> I've seen them toss goats. >> Yeah. Pick up a rhinoceros. >> Humans. >> I don't know. I don't know about rhy. Seen it. >> Where? Like a zoo? >> No. No. No. They don't let that happen. at the zoo. >> Baby rhino. >> Mhm. out on the Serengeti. >> Yeah,
>> there's eagles out there. >> They could go wherever. >> It's a far flight. >> Yeah, it is. But they rule all skies. >> and all. grinds. >> That's right. >> Well said. >> All right, let's get to another. overreaction is from Adam Schwin. # I. don't want to overreact, but the Kansas. City Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl. >> Everybody in their hearts were cheering. against Chiefs because they know if they. get in, it's over. Fear is setting in. realization is becoming real. And like. you said, the Chiefs, I didn't say that,
is still the Chiefs. That's kind of what. I was thinking whenever they had four. minutes and 30 seconds left. You never. really think the Chiefs aren't the. Chiefs. Uh, in that moment, soon as. Patrick Mahomes jogs on that [ __ ]. field, okay, and does his thing. >> and they show Andy Reid with a [ __ ]. play sheet. Rigberto and the boys do an. incredible job and get a penalty. Have. them start at their own [ __ ] two. yardd line here, okay? Up by three. It's. exactly where you want full field to. work with to get into field goal range. Even though Bucker has a big leg. >> and they just did the same [ __ ] they did. basically all game, but all in one drive. and they just walked right down, took.
out the whole clock. They get to this. this two yard line. Okay, they get to. the two yard line. I'm thinking to. myself, they're going to score a. touchdown. We we all we needed was to. hold for a field goal. They're going to. score a touchdown against us and win. this game. And then tick tick tick tick. tick tick tick tick. We ran out of. timeouts. All of a sudden, it was under. a minute and they're like second down in. goal on like the two. I'm like, we. [ __ ] lost this game. We didn't even. get the ball back. And then somehow they. hold him. Thank God. He kicks a extra or. a field goal. They tie it up. We go to. overtime. We take the ball first. Three. and out. The boys hadn't been on the.
field in like 45 minutes. It's been like. an hour since the boys have been on the. field with how and what uh Patrick. Mahomes did with two-minute warning, other [ __ ] TV timeouts and having the. ball for 98 yards. I mean, the boys had. weren't on the field forever. Three and. out. [ __ ] Patrick Mahomes goes on the. field. Your immediate thought is Chiefs. still the Chiefs. Chiefs going to score. a touchdown right here. And they did. And you know, just like uh the sports. books thought with the Baltimore Ravens. whenever they were down and out early, the sports book said Ravens are going to. come back. Ravens are going to come. back. I think we all need to do the same. thing with this Chiefs team. No matter. how asked they've looked, the Chiefs is.
still the Chiefs until further notice. Now, there's somebody on this stage. >> who said that is not a question mark on. if they still got it. It's actually an. exclamation point that says they don't. You thought the Chiefs were dead. Did. they uh earn your trust or fandom back. into their dynasty conversation? >> We had a chance to kill them uh in their. house and we did not. So uh they're not. dead until they're actually dead. But. I'll stand on what I say. I don't think. they going to run this year. I don't. think they win a Super Bowl. I think the. dynasty is still alive and well with.
Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, but not. this season. >> Yep. >> So the Colts aren't real either. That is. what you're saying. >> No, we're real. Okay, >> we'll bounce back. >> Hell yeah. >> Colts are still the favorite to win the. AFC. Boom. Boom. >> I like that, AJ. I don't like that we. didn't win that game. I didn't like. that. >> I mean, you know, in the grand scheme of. all of it, you know, sometimes you might. need a a tough road loss like that to. catapult you, you know, into the. playoffs. >> Yeah, you're right. >> Oh, yeah. >> A good loss whenever you look back on. it. Hey, little perspective putter. This.
is the top of the class here. This is. what happens when we go to their place. Now, we lose in Pittsburgh, too. We lose. in Kansas City. You know, start asking. some questions like, "Hey, you need. we're going to need to win more games, boys, because we're going to need to. have home home field." lighthouse a. little different than everywhere else. We We need to start getting after it. here. And I got faith in him. I got. faith in him. Zire made a hell of a. play. >> Guy balance on Zire's helmet. It was like a Spanish fly. Guy does a. front flip. Zire does a back flip. Strips him in the middle of it. Ball. out. Colts ball. It was like love that.
that's happening. Thought it was like. good news for us. Danny Dimes makes some. good throws. We have a couple, you know, little moments of greatness and then. Chiefs just Chiefs us can't have it. >> Yeah. >> Are we good enough to win a Super Bowl? >> Big one this week. >> A huge one this week. >> Are we just a little bit excited because. we're finally [ __ ] a team worth. watching? You know, that's kind of the. battle that I've. >> house money. That That's how I'm viewing. it now. Just house money. We're playing. with house money. >> You're right. Cuz it sucked last year. >> Exactly. You We already hit our overs on.
team total wins this season. This is all. house money. We You didn't expect this. >> We shouldn't be here. We should, but. >> somebody's going to be here. >> Exactly. But I mean, think about what is. starting to be built in both of our. buildings. That's just kind of what I. fall back on. >> Yeah. This is an early start for. whatever is about to be. Now, granted, we don't we don't have Danny Diamonds on. contract after this year, and Jonathan. Taylor is going to need to be paid. >> They will. They will. >> They'll figure it out. >> They've got the big three figured out. >> Yeah, you're right. Big three. Big. three. Colts is the Colts still. >> No. No. Colts is going to be the Colts. >> again.
CGBCA. >> Yeah, exactly. >> CGBCA. Colts going be Colts again. Get. >> the next overreaction. >> I don't like they were favored in Kansas. City. That's what the Colts were. Think. about that. >> Yeah, it was kind of bad news going in. >> Weren't we favored? >> No. Three and a half point dogs. But. even that. >> I should have known. >> Great cover. >> I should have [ __ ] great. Good cover. >> I should have known then. I just didn't. even look at it. Give me the Colts. I.
was wearing Travis's shirt, too. >> They didn't get blown out, though. That's the like if they go into that. game and get beat by three touchdowns, then it's like, "Oh, wow.". >> Blown out by the Chiefs this year. >> That's what I'm saying. It's like, "Oh, boy. We really are a class below all. these good teams." But, you know, they. fought tooth and nail. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. They tried hard. >> Let's go to Let's go to close out. >> age. I don't like that. >> Try hard. >> They played hard. Would I would you take. the ball? Do you win the toss? >> No, I wouldn't. >> So, Tony Romo made a great point. Tony. Romo immediately upon us taking the ball.
said I'd rather have four downs instead. of three. So it'd be good to know what I. need to do. But I don't know like. yes I on that note yes I think it's the. right decision but I had a thought there. for a while where it was like if you. have a very good defense and you've. invested in your defense your defense. knowing what it needs to do is a good. piece of information. Like I I think. that could be a good piece of. information. Now granted, defense can't. automatically score or, you know, kind.
of handle it and answer and an added. play. Knowing that you have to score a. touchdown is a very big piece of. information or knowing that you have to. kick a field goal. If it's fourth and 10. on your own 30, it doesn't matter. because you have to go kick the field. goal as opposed to punting that and then. the other team coming down and kicking. >> No, don't even think about your team. You don't want to give Patrick Mahomes. four downs. You don't want You don't. want to score a field goal and then. Mahomes knows that he can have four. downs. >> Yeah. It just.
>> always kick it. >> Always. And And the Colts as a team this. year, I think they take the ball first. more than any other team in the league. Like that's just Shane's thing. But OT, >> I want to go on defense first. If I know. we're getting a shot, which the new. rules we are, Yeah. I want I want to. know exactly. >> Your your quarterback. As soon as Tony. Ramo said, "I'd rather have four downs. instead of three." I was like, "Yeah, me. too. That's that kind of puts it all. over the bed right there." Yeah. I I. think and to your point about Patrick. Mahomes, I don't think it would have.
mattered. >> Yeah, you're right. Yeah. >> But on that note, data taken. >> Mhm. >> Rico entertained. Maybe we change for. the future. Let's get to the next one. It's from Chris Bourdine. Hash I don't. want to overreact, but that W felt like. an L. OT on a short week to beat the. Giants. Now they'll lose to the Pack on. Thanksgiving as is tradition. Lose to. the Rams in a couple weeks. Brad needs. to stop smelling his own [ __ ] and. actually improve this team in the. offseason. #1 pride. >> This is how Detroit feels after Jir.
Gibbs goes for 475 yards. >> Yeah, I'll tell you what, this is how a. lot of people in Detroit feel. I'm a. little bit torn cuz on one hand, you. watch that game. We look like absolute. shite. The Giants should have won. They. actually had a fourth down in our red. zone to win that game. we should have. lost instead. On the flip side, why I'm. why I'm torn is we go down, we kick a. field goal, go to overtime, we win the. game. A win's a win. We'll take that. But at the end of the day, we just don't. look like how we looked last year. Last. year, we were so dominant. It was like.
that team could win the Super Bowl. Right now, a lot of teams don't feel. that way or a lot of fans don't feel. that way in Detroit. So, we're a little. torn, but. >> got to beat the Packers. If they beat. the Packers, no one will care anymore. >> Especially on Thanksgiving. That's Lions. Day. >> That's Lions Day. Shre's calling him a dome team. Was. Shreg's saying they're they're strictly. a dome team that can't win outside. >> He basically was saying that today and. luckily we're in a dome until the last. game of the year against the Bears. So, we're in a good spot. >> Oh, that game won't matter probably. either. >> We'll win that one though. >> Okay. Yeah. Yeah, of course you will.
>> Congrats, Foxy. You've reached the fan. base status where you guys aren't happy. with just winning. It needs to look. good, too. >> Yeah. Congrat. It's very different than. what three years looked like uh three. years ago looked like for you guys. >> Definitely. It's kind of weird cuz like. I said, wins a win and I'm I'm pumped. up, but also I just they were so good. last year and something's missing this. year. >> The um the Lions fan from last week, did. you guys get along? Did you guys talk? Cuz remember you said you hated. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. I was really mad. And then about. three days later, he actually tweeted at. me and basically said, "Wow, I really.
upset Foxy here." And I just said, "Charge at the game over action Monday. No big deal.". >> Okay. So bygones be bygones. Yeah. Exactly. And now we're all on the same. page. Just don't look like a. championship team. This is one pride, one team, one sound, one band. >> Let's go to the next one. Dan, Mr. Roman. 1927. This guy's old. This guy's old. Hashtag I don't want to overreact by. Micah Parson. Looks like Lawrence. Taylor. The way he's manhandling. opposing offensive linemen and wrecking. quarterback's lives. If the DB start. catching those wobblers that hit him in. both hands, then there's nothing.
stopping Toyota thawn Jordan Love from. running the table. Obviously, Ty, you're. an owner of the Packers. You picked this. particular overreaction. just kind of. hit on everything you were thinking. Toyota thawn some DBs dropping balls, Micah dominating and uh is that kind of. why you picked this one? >> Yeah, a little bit. Uh because the the. turnovers, I mean, you know, they got a. couple yesterday, but that's that's been. the big thing is they have been dropping. a lot of interceptions and I saw a lot. of people were bitching about the. Packers offense yesterday, but I'm. pretty sure Matt Laflur was just.
thinking like, listen, you know, JJ. McCarthy is not going to engineer. several touchdown drives here. we've. seen what's happening like their their. pass rush was kind of dominating. But. the big thing is like M Michael Parsons. is ad as advertised and I think their. defense is unbelievable. Obviously JJ. McCarthy hasn't been playing great but. you know when you have a guy like that. who can single-handedly take over games. like it it just um yeah I I'm feeling. I'm feeling very good. I'd like the. offense to be a little bit more. aggressive but again yesterday without.
Josh Jacobs, without Matthew Golden like. they they really didn't need to do. anything. They just needed to run the. ball and let the defense kind of. dominate the game, which is what they. did. >> And Green Bay and Micah really getting. along. I thought about this. Micah State. College, small town. >> Goes to Dallas, lot of [ __ ] Obviously. gets into it big time. Goes back to. small town. I wonder if he doesn't, you. know, need all the big city stuff that. Green Bay potentially lacks versus. Dallas. And I saw him and the fans. having a good time. Obviously, his. paycheck's a big deal, but the way he's. playing and the way he's acting, it.
feels like you guys are in a in a great. spot up there in Green Bay. Yeah. And I. don't know cuz I assume that most Dallas. fans I mean I guess towards the end you. know he was probably getting a lot of. [ __ ] for doing the podcast and like some. of the stuff he was saying. >> which we gave [ __ ] to for. >> Yeah. Exactly. >> As well cuz there was like a lot of. negative energy seemingly coming out of. the podcast. Not that guys shouldn't do. podcast [ __ ] I had a podcast whenever I. was live and I support players doing. their thing. But it felt like Micah was. so good at football and the only. negative was just coming out from this. podcast. It's like you have a chance to. make so much money from football right.
now that you're not going to be able to. make in the future. Obviously, you're. great on a microphone and there's a lot. of sound bites. We were even saying. like, is it worth this right now? And I. think he's backed away from that, right? >> Yeah. He's not doing it this year. And. he said basically, I wanted I I want it. to be all about football when I get. here. And you know, again, it was his. decision to do the podcast and. everything, but. >> but learned his learn. I think he. learned that. >> and I think for Packers fans, it's just. been like this guy is just such a. godsend. Like they haven't had a a guy. this dominant on defense maybe since. like Charles Woodson, you know, won. defensive play. It's been a long time.
and he's and he's just so consistent. like week in week out. He kind of does. what you expect him to do and you know. he's getting double teamed all the time. like Christian Darasaw is one of the. highest paid tackles in the NFL and Mike. had just kind of had his way with him. yesterday. So yeah, I mean I just you. know what it they're still kind of. waiting for everything to come together. I don't think they've played their best. game but again I this this defense is. going to keep them in every game. like I. I don't see them getting blown out by. anybody. So, as long as the offense can.
kind of, you know, come along a little. bit and start to get healthy and get. some people back, like I know, and and. this again, as a Packers fan, like this. hasn't been the case in maybe 15 years, like I know the defense is going to have. a stout effort week in and week out. >> AJ, they seemingly like each other, too. A lot of celebrating there for the boys. on defensive side. >> Yeah, I mean, look at the push the. interior Dines, what Dev Dvonte White, the interior D lineman gets two sacks in. this game. Like, they're getting great. push. When you can get great push inside. and you have Micah Parsons on the. outside, like come on, man. Like, you're. going to you're going to win a lot of.
football games with your defense if you. can do that. >> And that's what Carmine said. >> Exactly. >> I need somebody to get to that. quarterback. >> You're going to pay him though. Absolutely. >> How's 48 M a year sound? >> Just get to the quarterback, brother. >> Mhm. And he has. >> Find yourself a little house here. Maybe. have a view of Lambo. >> Yeah, he might buy Roger's old house. Said he's he's been looking at it. >> You should. >> Really? >> Yeah. him and Tucker Craft both said. like, "Yeah, you know, we've we've. checked it out, considering it.". >> Are they going to move in together? >> I don't think so. And I think if it.
becomes a bidding war, I think Micah has. a little bit more money than the craft. is. He's about to get broken off here. soon, but. >> Mike Parsons is making a lot of money. Yes, he is. >> I think if he wants Rogers House, he can. go ahead and get in. >> And what if he just loves Green Bay? What if this is a place he's supposed to. be in? What if this becomes just a. mainstay for the next 10 years up there. in Green Bay? >> I mean, I think that's the plan. when. you give up as much as they gave up to. get him and you pay him the way they've. paid him like I I hope he's expecting to. be there for the long haul and boy he's. still so young that's that's what's you. know. >> how's Jordan love.
>> again yeah his shoulders kind of banged. up he was kind of he was handing off. with like his off hand yesterday several. times so I hope he's good to go uh. Thursday I assume he will be but again. like he didn't they didn't need to. Emanuel Wilson came in and they had. their you know he had more rushes than. Josh Jacobs had gotten all year and He. rushed for over a 100 yards in his first. start. Uh he picked up a couple first. downs when they needed him to, but it. really was just a hey, let's control the. clock. Uh because if we get, you know, a. 10 to 14 point lead the way Minnesota's.
playing, it's going to be very, very. difficult for them to come back. But. he's going to have to he's going to have. to air it out and he's going to have to. play a good game on Thursday. >> Backhanded handoffs. >> He did that several times. Several. times. And that's what they were saying. They don't they don't know if that was. maybe a product of his shoulder being. kind of banged up. >> Maybe he's changing the game. >> He could be. He could be. It's Toyota. thon. He, you know, he t he tends to do. crazy [ __ ] during that. So maybe he is. just saying, you know what, this is. actually a little bit better off. >> Let's go to the next overreaction from. AD Sugar. # I don't want to overreact,
but the Rams going to win a Super Bowl. R9 is going to win the MVP. Defense. making more plays than the Eagles. offense in the second half. We are the. number one team in the NFL. Aaron Donald. coming out of retirement to get him. another ring. Hash Rams house. We talked. about this earlier, AJ. Aaron Donald's. in shape right now. Yeah, very good. shape. >> He should come make a good playoff run. >> Oh my gosh. He was in the building last. night. Obviously sees the way the boys. are cooking.
