If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further.
>> Hey, >> let's go. This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful. >> McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. >> The alltime [music] leading tackler for. the Green Bay Packers. You. >> stop. Damn it. >> Your friend, tell a friend something. nice could change their life. Hello beautiful people and welcome to.
our humble abode the thunder [music] on. this magical overreaction Monday. November 10th 2025 this program begins. [music] right now. >> football. >> it is awesome and we had a great weekend. of ball and we can't wait to dive into. all of it now first things first we'd. like to say happy birthday to the Marine. Corps turns 250 years old today. Over. [applause] the United States of America, >> started as a militia in a bar and now.
it's a group of badass dogs who. obviously say, "Yeah, I'll go." First to. fight is their mantra, URA, kill sleigh. Happy birthday to them. And also, uh, big announcement tomorrow, we will be. live from Paris Island, which is the. Marines boot camp for the eastern half. of the United States of America down in. South Carolina for Veterans Day. will be. down there and we're going to be the I. think the only show that'll be live from. a military base tomorrow and I think. we're potentially the only show that's. ever been live from Paris Island.
Obviously, the home of the Marines and. everything that we'll be uh kind of. showcasing and chitchatting about. tomorrow will hopefully be one big thank. you to all the folks that signed a line. saying they were willing to go to war. for this particular country that I'm. lucky to call home. And uh I can't thank. you all enough for allowing us to do. this. And tomorrow should be pretty. epic. Uh there's going to be a lot of. poppins and a lot of features from a lot. of different people and uh it should be. exciting. So happy birthday to the. Marines and tomorrow we will certainly. be honoring our vets in a big way from.
Paris Island as we get a chance to. chitchat about the greatest thing on. earth which is sports. Sports unify the. world. It is what makes everything. special. And this past weekend we had a. good one. The toxic table was here at. Boston Conor and at Tai Schmidt. One. half of the hammer died Cowboys AP. Tonyy's here. The beard's coming back. >> It is coming back. It's good to It's. good to see [laughter]. >> like it the mirror you're saying. >> Yeah, that's a good length right there. >> cuz you know found out didn't have a. chin. Forgot. >> you found that out? Yeah. Okay. I didn't. know. >> one day I I used to.
>> You think? >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> 18-year-old Tony. >> Oh, young car in the making out there. >> I don't know what happened got soft. But. here we are. >> No, I think it's cuz you have such a. good beard. Your chin said I'm never. coming back. Look how good this beard. is. Let me go ahead and take some time. off. On that note, uh big things. happening back in in Pittsburgh this. weekend. College Game Day will be going. to the University of Pittsburgh in the. city of Pittsburgh on a Saturday for a. full college game day for the first time.
in 20 years as Notre Dame is still very. number five ranked team in the country. Still very much in college football. playoff conversation, national. championship hunt. They're becoming the. team that they hoped that they would be. early in a season. Couple tough teams. they played, you know, lose to Texas A&M. at home. Texas&M the only undefeated. team in the SEC still. Okay, they lose. to Miami. At the time, Miami was a. wagon. Now, some things have happened in. Miami throughout the season, but at the. time, those losses I thought were. devastating. Then you watch those two. teams play, it's like maybe not that bad. of losses early. And also, we would like.
more teams to play good teams, especially early in the season. So, maybe we don't punish Notre Dame for the. first two weeks of the season. Maybe we. kind of let it all play out. They've. been kicking everybody's ass and now. they got Pit. Pit still very much in it. for the ACC title. Pit can make the. College Football Playoff. Nobody talks. about Pit. Pit still has a road to the. College Football Playoff and the ACC. championship. And Narduzi and the boys. are the same Pit team that you know. They're a tough bunch and their fans I. think are excited for Saturday College. Game Day coming outside of Aprure.
Stadium down there on the Northshore. just a few yards from Rivers Casino. Okay. And that's why I had to mention it. because whenever I saw the location I. was like can certainly get to Rivers. Casino there quickly because Rivers. Casino is a place downtown on North. Shore right next to all the stadiums. basically and whenever you come into. town you go there you just kind of tip. Pittsburgh. You say hey you know what. thanks for having me this weekend please. look over me and bless me and you lose. I don't think I've ever walked out of. Rivers Casino as a winner but it feels. like a ritual just go in there and say. thank you Pittsburgh. Okay, walk around,
say hello to some people, uh, lose some. money, win some, give it right back. somewhere else, and then go have a time. in Pittsburgh. That's right around the. corner. This is going to be pretty epic. I do believe a lot of Irish people in. Pittsburgh as well. So, who knows how. many Notre Dame fans will be there. But. I know the University of Pittsburgh. students are certainly jacked up and uh. I'm excited to get back over there and I. think there'll be a lot of good beards. and if not good beards, there'll be good. jaw lines, you know, as you kind of came. and go as. >> Yeah, it's a good beard city. Uh, yes, there are a lot of Notre Dame fans that. live in Pittsburgh. Uh the guy on the. right in that graphic, Mason Heinchel,
the quarterback for Pit, true freshman. They are undefeated since he has taken. over the starting job this year. He's. bit of a phenom. So yeah, it'll be a. good game. And Pit only one loss in the. ACC with a lot of ACC teams that have. one loss and they're going for the. playoffs. >> And this does not count as an ACC game. for them, but obviously if they were to. lose any others, they have no bid to get. in there. So them beating Notre Dame, massive for the University of. Pittsburgh, especially a freshman. quarterback there. And then Notre Dame. has to win to make it. So huge stakes. Other big games around the country, you. know, Texas, Georgia, I believe is.
happening down there in Athens. That's. going to be gigantic. I think Miss is. hosting Florida. I think that's going to. be a big game. I think the ticket prices. going insane for down there in Old Miss. So college football should deliver, but. it'll be nice to be in a town that, you. know, hasn't had it in like 20 years. A. football town. And uh a lot of people. watch some pick games and maybe see. yellow seats. You know, maybe it's not. filled up down there. That. >> Yeah, >> Pittsburgh's a football city. Notre. Dame's coming to town. It'll be filled. >> I think it's going to be. >> Are you worried? >> Me? >> Yeah. About the uh WV Yeah.
>> WVU Pits tie. >> Yeah. The way it was worded there by the. the social media post Pat's coming home. [laughter] It's like whoa whoa whoa whoa. whoa whoa. Pittsburgh is pit definitely. not. I just like complete a good times. in Oakland. >> Yeah. Certainly we all have. I I mean I. think I probably had more good times in. Oakland than most of the people in. school probably right now at the. University of Pittsburgh. Obviously, I. have a lot of friends that went to pit. being from Pittsburgh, but yeah, in the. whole sports thing. Yeah. And who won.
the backyard balls this year? [laughter]. >> Okay. So, I'm going in there in a good. spot, but they certainly have some. things that they could certainly say to. me as well. Yeah, I'm excited for it. I'm excited for the J. I'm just pumped. Just like with Texas Tech, if Leach I'm. excited to go to a place that hasn't had. it in a long time, you know, like. learning about new places, new. traditions. Like, Lik was insane, dude. They were so nice to us. Like, they were. very, very thankful we were there. Very. appreciative. everybody. I mean, Joe. McGuire comes. They bring a damn horse. inside champion. >> That's just right on the show. That was. sick. >> Let alone like everything else that was.
going there. It was like they were so. thankful and hospitable and they wanted. to showcase the world like, "Yeah, we. love ball here." Like that's basically. what they wanted to do. And uh it was an. honor to be down there and it lived up. to the the Texas Tech fans. There were. signs that were saying like Mormons. versus alcoholics. Like they were like. proud [laughter] like, "Hey, we can. hammer some drinks around here." And. they certainly did. Great to catch up. with Danny Amandola. He was around. there. got a chance to meet all the. people that have kind of pieced this. entire thing together and they they were. all incredibly kind. They love ball down. there and uh they got the team and the.
money behind them and the community I. think to be special for a long long. time. They get a huge win over BYU in. the Big 12 race and uh Texas Tech is for. real. But it was nice to you know kind. of experience new college football stuff. for me just selfishly. >> sitting on the stage there new to the. entire world. It was cool to experience. that and what they're about. And. obviously I know Pittsburgh very well. The city I don't know a lot of pitch. traditions in football stuff well at. all. Okay. I know if Dell Rivas catches.
a punt from me, he makes everybody miss. [laughter]. scores a touchdown. I know that's a. tradition. Seems like I think he's. potentially going to be in the building. this weekend. Aaron Donald, I think, is. going to be over there getting his. number retired. Yeah, I think Tony. Dorset is going to be there. I think I. think. >> bringing out the big guys. I think it's. going to be a this not for game. This is. for the this is for the game. I don't. know what's going on with game day yet, but like. >> yeah, there's a lot and let alone I. think Shady potentially. I think there. it was on an email where I saw the name. It's like. >> I think Tyler Palco is going to be hold.
>> Yeah, I saw an email. I saw his name. Also got a message I think from PCO. family said, "Hey, listen. As you know, >> he loves his team. >> Tyler Palco loves University of. Pittsburgh." And just over 20 years ago, you know, Tyler Paco threw for six. touchdowns against Notre Dame. >> Oh, yeah. Tyler Paco with his sweet hair. and incredible looks. >> And then. >> what's that? >> What do you do after that? >> What do you say on national TV? >> Drop the f bomb on live TV. >> It was awesome. I still remember it like. it was yesterday. >> Tyco. [laughter].
>> So I think there's going to be, you. know, it should be an amazing weekend uh. downtown Northshore there. And I I don't. know if it's just going to be pit people. there. I I assume the city's going to. show up, but I think there's potentially. a lot of Notre Dame people that are. going to come through as well. So, it. should be a pretty electrifying. environment. Notre Dame's always been. good to College Game Day since I've been. on it. Every time we go up to Notre. Dame, it's like the biggest crowd of all. time and their fans are literally. everywhere. So, I think Pittsburgh has a. chance to be epic this weekend. And. we're going to be showcasing local food. as well. >> Only the best.
[laughter]. >> That's what happened to your chin. That's what happened to your jaw when. you started slandering good things from. the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. >> Never done that. >> You did. That's when your jaw said, "I'm. not going to be a part of this." And. quit. That's when your jaw quit on you. You need to know that. >> things were a little too good around. here. I had to stir it up a bit. >> Well, [laughter]. Rudy Subs will be obviously hot this. weekend. Cannot wait for that. And maybe. a couple other Pisanos foods make some. appearances in there. It should be a. great weekend. >> Uh, >> stop. >> Anything but [clears throat]. that's a good question.
>> OG perhaps. >> Neither of those places exist. >> Hold on. Please. >> Wait. Wait. I'm not saying that. I'm not. saying that. Well, >> nine-year NFL vet. A man who has a good. football brain but clearly. >> those things. Oh, >> maybe it was the fact he came out of. Kaboli's cargo shorts. But. >> yeah, eating out of Kaboli's nature's. microwave. He called his cargo shorts. his pocket that was sitting there for 4. hours is when it's a bad thing. >> You need to change your tune right now. when you're talking about Rudy's cuz. this no jaw heaven guy started saying it.
the other day. The city of Pittsburgh. started reacting. Now you're starting to. throw it [laughter] in there. >> What did the city say? >> What. >> did they agree or disagree? Well, there. was a couple notable mouths over there. in Pittsburgh that said, "Excuse me, maybe Tone's on to something." I was. like, "No, he is not. I don't know if. I'm I don't like this. This is what's. wrong with modern society." Okay, everybody wants to be a part of. something. Even if they don't believe. it, they just want, you know, I do want. to be a part of something. I'm going to. lie completely, but tone started this. thing. Foxy spotlighted it, amplified. it. Okay. And then you got people. saying, "YOU KNOW WHAT? YEAH, I'VE BEEN.
THINKING THE SAME THING." JUMPING on. board. I'm like, "No, you haven't. You. have Rudy Sub is the best subs in. Pittsburgh." and we will certainly ALL. BE ENJOYING THEM. >> CAN I SAY SOMETHING real quick? I just. want to say something real quick because. Connor said it. I looked it up. There's. not one Fizzole in all of Pennsylvania. >> Okay. Well, nor should there be a bat. bowl. >> Let's move along. Okay. Uh Pittsburgh, the only thing we need to be talking. about is the Steelers. Am I right? >> Oh, Ste. >> They can't hurt us anymore. >> A nine-year NFL vet Dary State brother. is here with terrible food takes and.
incredible football takes. And that's. what he's here for. You look very cool. with a hat. I don't know what's going on. with uh. >> what's lost and. >> foul. >> It's always race season. >> How is that? >> What is that? >> We're coming to the end of a great. season, boys. All right. >> We're right in the middle of it. Actually, we got eight more weeks. >> No, no. F1 season. The pinnacle. Obviously, football is the real. pinnacle. This is the pinnacle of. motorsport. >> Yeah, you they're doing it right now. >> Oh, they are doing it. >> When? When? When when? >> Uh they just did it in Brazil. Yes. Now, >> I don't have YouTube TV, you know. I.
guess I can't see. All right, let's. move. Please. What's that? >> F1 TV. Oh, they're trying to gouge their. fans. Okay, I don't like that. I don't. like that at all. Okay, let's move along. to a sport. Congrats to G1. Have a great. season. >> Lando took the [applause] lead. >> Nobody saw it. >> No. Who won? >> Lando Norris. >> again. >> Oh, Lando. This guy cheats every time. >> Race though. >> Also, do not pass on congratulations. >> Who? Orlando did not. >> No, me to F1. >> Okay. You're saying everybody else. saying congratulations or claps. You say. not. >> No, not I. >> Yeah, it is football season. And on that.
note, you know, in most football. situations, there's a first 15. It is a. scripted first 15 plays that offensive. coordinators have to kind of see how the. defense will react to their different. formations and styles. It's very. important to an entire game. So, whenever you see a team go on the field. and go three and out, that really just. kicks them right in the balls cuz the. rest of the game was going to be. dependent upon how those first 15 plays. were going. Those first 15 plays well. thought out. Well thought out. Oh, yeah. Lot of conversation. Lot of decisions. are made. And for us, we want to have.
the same thing because this is a ball. show. Ladies and gentlemen, it is time. for our overreaction Monday first 15. >> Now, this is driven by Ram. And if you. hit the uh gas pedal of a Ram truck, the. only thing you're going to hear is. and the only thing you're going to feel. like is a king because Ram trucks have. the power you need and the luxury you. deserve. Ram trucks. Okay. Now, let's. get to our first 15. Now, put the clock. up, please. What we're going to do. differently. See? See? >> Yes. >> Okay. Yes. Second half of.
>> Yeah. Yeah. You see, we're getting. better. >> Some time of possession here. >> Yeah. First half of the season here. We're kind of We're still in it, you. know. We're still playing meaningful. football games in November. We're not a. sellers at the trade deadline by any. means. But we certainly weren't just. dominate, you know, cuz we kept saying. first 15. It's not about the time, it's. about the plays. But then we put a. 15-minute clock up there and everybody's. like, "Hey, it's 42 minutes, so what's. the clock for?" And we said, "You know. what? You're right. Instead of counting. down, we need to give no [snorts]. barriers to oursel.". >> Yeah. We need to explore everything in. this first 15. Why would we be setting.
up a three and out? Why would we be. setting up a slowdown of any good. conversation, a stoppage of any play. that we need? So, we're starting at. zero. We're counting up. Let's see how. long today goes. Let's get this thing. started with the top five headlines. coming out of the NFL slate. Number. five, not all ass teams are ass all the. time. Now, what are you saying by that? Well, what I'm saying is some of these. teams we've all just deemed ass. We say, "Oh, that squad there, ass. That team. right there, not worth a damn. That team.
can't beat any team, let alone an NFL. team or a good NFL team." And what we. need to remember, debut, and I think. this does get forgotten about whenever. it comes to maybe the larger scale of. football fans and NFL fans, these are. all professional athletes who are paid. to try to play football good and to. strategize against other teams, just. like the good squads. So whenever we. were two and 14 whenever we lost or two. and yeah two and 14 whenever we got. Andrew Luck there was like nine games. there were one score games that if the.
ball just so happened to. >> and then pop up into some guy that. played one NFL game in his life it was. this particular game and he just goes in. the end zone we win that game. So, it's. like I think people just start to decide. if a team is good and can win or if a. team is bad and can't win any game. And. then you kind of just toss away any of. the wins that happen throughout the. season with the bad teams. And then if. they end up beating a team, oh my god, full panic. It happened down there in. Miami with the Buffalo Bills. Now, Josh. Allen has struggled in Miami in the.
past. We all do recall a couple bad. games for Josh down in Miami. That would. continue. And this Miami Dolphins team, we all call ass. this team's ass. Instead, they still got Wadd. And. allegedly, there were some teams, including the Buffalo Bills, that were. looking for Waddle. Even a firstrounder. in 2027 was offered up from a couple. teams for Waddle because of how. incredible he is at football. But we all. think he's really good. He needs to get. the hell out of there cuz they're a bad. team. And here they are on a Sunday. and they're beating the Buffalo Bills.
And not just beating them, pounding. them. All three phases. There was a. moment in the fourth quarter. It was 16. nothing in the fourth quarter. There was. a moment there where Josh Allen scores a. touchdown. It's like, hold the phone. Wait a minute. As Josh Allen finally got. over his Miami flu, is Josh Allen. potentially about to turn this entire. thing around? Are the Buffalo Bills. about to do to the Miami Dolphins what. we all expect to do, just steal their. joy and their hope in the fourth. quarter? And the Miami Dolphins. answered, Debbut. I mean, it was an ass. kicking. Even when the Bills started,
the Dolphins would answer. Everybody. says they're ass. Maybe they're not ass. all the time. Debut. >> And you mention it and they hear it. They hear it every day about how ass. they are. Not only the players, but the. coaches. Who's getting fired next? Who's. getting traded? Obviously, the trade. deadline is over now. But the way these. boys showed up, starting with HN, absolute game wrecker. Ran through them. And this the only place that the. Dolphins beat the Bills. You mentioned. that earlier as well. And this was kind. of a a ugly weather game. It didn't show. through on the camera much, but this was. kind of some rain on and off, some. sloppy. I love this. I know a lot of.
people have a lot of thoughts about this. or they're acting like they won the. Super Bowl, but hey, winning is an. amazing feeling. You mentioned every. week in the NFL is talented coaches, is. talented players, you know, we got. [laughter] break dances and [ __ ] been. lock and my initial reaction was like, ah, this is too much. This is this. But. then I'm like, okay, I'm an old guy. I. haven't been in the locker room. These. are you're coaching 20 to 30 year olds. and you're excited about the win and you. want to be excited about the win. So, I. love this what I saw not only on the. field from the Dolphins, but off the.
field because Mike McDaniel, he's been. getting on the shins all year long. So, for him to have his boys come out there. and compete in a against a team that. everybody picked, I'm sure a bunch of. Survivor picks. Oh, yeah. Lost a bunch. of parlays or straight up wins. So, unbelievable uh outing by the Dolphins. at home. Very impressed with this. outing. >> This was Miamiy's first win versus the. Bills since uh 2022. HA and one off 174. uh uh six receptions for 52 yards and. two touchdowns. Dolphins defense forced. two fumbles, one interception, end up.
with three sacks. That's a hell of a day. after trading away Jaylen Phillips and. also sending away all your best talent. Hebo sent over a stat about this Bills. rush defense. Week one, Derrick Henry. won for 169. Bjon won for 170 and then. Achain goes for 174. If you want to win, hey, if you want to win in the playoffs, they're going to have to figure that. out. They are going to have to figure. that out. Now, obviously, these types of. games are certainly possible for teams, and no fans want them to see them, but. only one team in the history of the NFL. has gone undefeated, okay? It's a 1972. Dolphins. Every once in a while,
professional athletes are going to show. up and put it together. And when that. happens, they can beat anybody. That is. kind of what the NFL has kind of been. built upon. Parody, parody, parody any. given Sunday. On yesterday, on. yesterday's particular Sunday, >> Mhm. >> Good for you. One half of the hammer. down. Cowboys Bubble Gumpy and Gump. [applause]. >> Gumpy. How's it feel to be have a. victory Monday here with the boys? Are. you riding in the laundry rack? >> Yeah, this is what the Dolphins look. like after Chris Greer's gone. Uh that. team still believes in Mike McDaniel. You saw it in that video. Anthony Weaver.
called the best game he's had all year. Minka had a stop on that two-point. conversion, just stuffed the guy at the. line. Best the defense has looked all. year. Jake Bailey dropped one at the. one. All three phases just unbelievable. from the fins. So, a GM and a president. has hated this bad in the building. OH. MY GOD, thank god he's gone. That's what. it is like down there feels like there. was a new energy and McDaniel, I mean, the way he's feeling, the way they're. responding to him, it feels like there's. like a, hey, we're behind you type vibe. Good for the Dolphins. Now, this could.
all change. >> Yeah, next. >> True. >> This could all just be uh, >> you know, take it in, boys. >> It's a good week. >> Take it in, boys. But this is the NFL. This is literally the NFL in a nutshell. And also down in Miami later in the. year, we got snow on the ground out. here. Going down into Miami, the. humidity that also plays effect. And. also there is a Miami flu. We've all. been down there. There's a lot of. distractions. That's why we think it's. going to be hard for the Dolphins to. win. Other teams have also struggled. down there as well. >> I mean like make Fitzpatrick bringing. it. I don't know if that was his first. game as a Miami Dolphin, but I know he's.
been out for a little bit him being. back. And then I mean Tai dropped a bar. about Jaylen Phillips being out of the. building. like you would assume, you. know, trade in your best player, Jaylen. Phillips, on defense at least, there. might be a little bit of a, you know, fall off, but like not at all. If. anything, that you know, you just said. it, that was the best their defense has. looked. >> Yeah. Congrats to the Dolphins get a big. win. And to the Bills, okay, these types. of losses open your eyes to what's. possible in the bigger games down the. road. They're going to have to get that. fixed. And then you go to the NFC South, who's ass down there, Saints.
>> Mhm. >> Well, who's not ass this year, maybe? Panthers. >> good football team. Winning record. >> Saints Tyler Shuck 75 year old rookie. out of [laughter] Louisville dog. Absolute beast. I think he had no. turnovers or something like that. I. forget. He had a bunch of rookie records. for how he performed. Kelly Mo might. have a guy. And when they drafted him, I. think it was like third round or. something like that. Whenever they. drafted him, they forgot uh they acted. like this was a starter. And everybody. was like, "Well, if this is your. starter, why wouldn't you have draft him. early?" It's like, "Well, we knew what.
his value was. We knew how people viewed. him." They liked him very very early. He. gets a win over the Carolina Panthers. and a team that's one and eight somehow. beats a team that's five and four and. one and eight team we all said was ass. and we're dead. They get a huge win over. the, you know, kind of the new favorites. around town. You know, we're not doing. the pumps anymore. >> We're not doing any pumps anymore. Hey, >> hey, all right. We're out of here. Got a. got a message from Keegan. You know, [clears throat] Canales is talk of the. town. Rico D might be the best player in. football. All of a sudden, Carolina is.
up and to the right in a huge way. And. the New Orleans Saints, just like their. location on the map, nobody was talking. about them way down. Nobody. Hey, who. are the ass teams? >> Well, the Jets and the Saints, they're. real bad. Yeah, they're the ones that. were talking about like with a college. football team. Now, I don't think any of. this year's college football teams, well, maybe this Ohio State team. Honestly, we have no idea. I mean, there's a chance they're the greatest of. all time. If they go through college. football playoff the same exact way that. they've been going through this season, >> there's a chance. There's a ch and there. is a chance people are going to do the.
Ohio State could be NFL team never could. by the way that is not how it works that. is why people like kind of get confused. about how good NFL talent is but the. Saints would have been the team that was. in that conversation whenever people. started doing that later if the Ohio. State kind of runs it them getting a big. win is indicative of like hey when they. show up any team can be great. >> once again another coach having his boys. ready to go Tyler Shuck he was passed. the job he earned the job won the job. over I guess Spencer probably played. himself out of it. But he showed up. Chris Olive, another guy who was loud on.
the trading block. He showed up and had. had a big game as well. And both of. those games, the Dolphins Bills and then. the Saints Panthers divisional games. So. you notice whenever records, you got to. throw those out the window when you're. playing a team and a coach that's very. familiar with those opponents. >> Eight minutes in, still on the first. one. Maybe we should have had the clock. count and done instead of up. Tyler. Shuck is the first Saints rookie to uh. rookie quarterback to win a game since. Dave Wilson in 1981. >> He was good. >> Zach Wilson's Poppy. >> Yeah. >> Poppy's puppy.
>> Okay. >> Yeah. I think I think he was potentially. fodder spotter type thing. Arch Arch had. a tough time there with the for a while. >> They did. >> Yeah. They weren't the best football. team. Arch the dog though. Everybody. knows Arch was a dog. And uh yeah, the. eights the had some times. And then. obviously Drew Brees, Shawn Payton come. in. They beat a team in the Super Bowl. that kick onside kick started second. half. They were losing at that time. There was there was a 22-y old kid that. was on the other team that thought he. was getting a Super Bowl and didn't even. know how to do his own job and didn't.
really have to contribute much but got. an A on the paper like he was Tyresese. how Burton at the Olympics. >> instead. Yeah. On the kick pick six. We ain't ever going back. >> Hard times brother but good for the. Saints. >> Yeah. >> Little baby with a headset on. >> Oh yeah. Yeah, >> I walk into a locker room contributing. nothing. No ability to save game either. at any time during the entire thing. Kind of a spectator if you will, but. would have got a ring.
>> Walk in there. Devastated boy. >> Can't imagine. >> the most positive people I've ever seen. in my life. Ruined in that locker room. And I didn't fully understand what was. happening. We'll be back next year. >> We weren't. >> You were after you after that? >> No, we're almost completely defeated. >> Then all my friends were cut. >> GM was fired and we had Andrew Luck as a. quarterback. >> Mhm. >> And what do we do? >> Back. >> We started started fighting back.
>> Made playoff. >> Oh yeah. >> Made the MC Championship. Oh my god. Then we did. >> Yeah. >> Then what happened? >> Then we did. >> What happened? >> Then I retired. title game. How was it? >> They got cheated. >> Yeah. The balls. >> still investigation. That's why injury. third. >> This is the balls Patriots are. [laughter]. >> Exactly. >> This is the ball Patriots are using. That's what Bill Ny science guy told me. That's a Bill Ny science guy told me. But nonetheless, really hard makes Super. Bowl Saints win Super Bowl finally. Hey, here it is. Here it is. Here it is. And. then kind of all goes to hell. This year.
supposed to be hell. Absolutely. But not. all ass teams are ass. >> all the time. >> Exactly. >> That's number five. 10 minutes. [applause]. >> Oh yeah. >> It's got a number four headline coming. out of the weekend. NFC favorites. fornicate four:00 slate. Yeah, that we. all saw it. Let's go to uh our nation's. capital. Detroit Lions pounded. Oh, I I. mean just pounded the Washington. Commanders. At one point during this. game in the third quarter, the president. of the United States uh was in the booth. and the Washington Commanders scored.
And his first reaction was that's good. for ratings, right? That's good. This is. actually kind of a game now as opposed. to what it was. the Detroit Lions with. Dan Campbell calling plays uh were. exactly what the Detroit Lions last year. with Ben Johnson were calling plays. He. had glasses on. I guess it wasn't easy. to tell from watching the game that he. was certainly calling plays while he was. actually talking and Jared Goff was. nodding his head like this and then Joey. Mo up in the booth wasn't saying really. anything. But I guess couldn't we didn't. know for sure if he was calling plays.
Turns out he was and their entire. offense is good and their defense. incredible. Kelvin Shepard, defense. coordinator, first year, former teammate. of ours. Obviously, now running the show. for Detroit on defensive side. Might be. in a run for that LSU job. I don't know. if he wants it. Obviously, he just got. defense coordinator job in the NFL. That. is a huge deal. One step away from an. NFL head coaching job. I don't know if. he I've not directly asked him, but LSU. Kelvin Shepard could be possible. So, the Lions could be dealing with another. turnover of a coordinator, which was the.
entire question going in. >> Mhm. >> New offense coordinator, he's done. Dan. Campbell's now calling place. So. basically three offense coordinators in. about two years, right? You know, Ben. Johnson, new Johnny Mo, and Dan. Campbell. Defense coordinator obviously. two in two years and they're still. dominating and they're still at the top. of the NFC and they're still ruining a. 4:00 slate there. What did you learn. yesterday from the Detroit Lions? >> Oh, you know what? Honest, I'm going be. honest with you. I didn't learn much. I. knew they were a dominant team. I felt. like the Detroit Lions are legit. contender to win it all this year. Jared.
G just kind of hoham. Another great game. by him over 300 yards. You got Jir Gibbs. going. He had a big day after having a. bad outing uh last week against the. Vikings. And then J Mo made some noise. uh a couple weeks ago. There was some. noise around him, should I say, about. him not getting the ball, not been using. the offense. And Dan Campbell made it a. point to get the ball probably in his. first 15 to get the ball uh to number. one. And he he made good with it. So he. got targets, he made his big plays, but. yeah, we know what they are offensively. and defensively the Commanders just so.
bad. So it's I didn't honestly I didn't. know that. >> Now there's a team that's ass. >> This was the outcome that was supposed. to happen in my opinion. >> but not ass all the time which is why. Marota will do his thing if they put it. together. >> Yes. >> Good team but if not they look like they. look and especially against the Detroit. Lions you're ready. Foxy there's some. Hembo stats here about the Lions offense. through nine games and they make a. change at the offensive coordinator. position. Uh, in 2024, Ben Johnson. obviously ends up getting hired as a. head coach as the bell of the ball.
because he's an offensive genius. 2.7. points per drive, 46% scoring drive, 33. touchdowns, 10 turnovers. 2025, 2.8. points per drive, which is absurd, by. the way. A field goal every time they. get the ball at least, basically. 47%. drive for score, and 34 touchdowns, six. turnovers. You guys are better than. ever. And Dan Campbell's put himself in. a driver's seat. What? What? WHAT THE. HELL'S GOING ON? >> I'll tell you what, everyone is fired up. about this. They love that MCDC's. calling plays. Jared Goff over 300. yards, three touchdowns. Jir Gibbs 173. total yards, three touchdowns. JMO over.
a 100 yards, a touchdown. Leaportto had. five catches. St. Brown had five. catches. Everyone was getting the rock. Everyone was loving what this offense. was doing. And we're rolling now and. we're not looking back anymore. Love. you, Johnny Mo. He had a lot to do with. this play calling, but uh this is MCDC's. offense now. >> Okay. Yeah. MCDC says, "We got a lot of. guys, man. We got a lot of guys. A lot. of miles to feed. Everybody's coming in. my office on Monday saying ball more. You know what? I will. [laughter]. >> Awesome. >> Scored on every single possession in the.
game. No turnovers. It was literally. perfect. >> Yeah. I mean the stats saying you're. scoring almost three points a drive is. insane because there's games where you. have like three, four drives you don't. score obviously. So making up for those. it doesn't happen. Detroit Lions. seemingly all the way back to who we. thought they were offensively. Ty, you. got to be scared to death of this. Detroit Lions team because if MCDC can. just take over either coordinator. position, it doesn't matter if they sub. out. It doesn't matter if Kelvin Shepard. ends up being the head coach at LSU if.
he wants that or any NFL job that. potentially opens up because what he's. been able to do with this defense so. quickly cuz MCDC will have offensive. side here, bang, [laughter] defensive. side here if he has to. That's what he's. willing to do. That's got to be scary in. the NFC North. I wouldn't say I'm scared. to death because the Packers have one in. the hand already on the Lions. But. again, that was Johnny Mo calling the. plays, not MCDC, but I think yesterday. just reaffirmed like there's been a lot. of talk about the Bears because they've. won several in a row. You know, the. Vikings had I mean discount yesterday.
with the Vikings with JJ and you know BA. said, "Hey, we might get four teams from. the NFC North." The Packers are you know. what they are, but it it's very evident. that like when the Lions play their A to. like B+ game, they are the best team in. that division. and they're still the. team that you need to slay. So, it'll be. very interesting. But, I just look at I. mean, you look at the like Bears are are. great right now. Obviously, Lions hung. 50 on them and beat the [ __ ] out of. them. The Packers game, it is what it is. week one. The Lions are a much different. team when they meet again on.
Thanksgiving and then the Vikings are. whatever. But the if the Lions can play. like this, it you'd be hardressed to. find a team that's better than them in. the NFL. >> Sonic and Knuckles. Sonic and Knuckles. Sonic and they got they got a they got. Sonic and Knuckles everywhere. >> Yeah. Wide receiver, we got Sonic and. Knuckles. Tight end, we got Sonic and. Knuckles. Running back, we got Sonic and. Knuckles. And offensive play callers, we. got Sonic and Okay, we we kind of got. literally And now some Lions fans are. saying, well, there are some games you. got. >> ass all over the place, but Sonic and. Knuckles seemingly everywhere around the.
line. And then there's even a toughness. to the team that brings out other people. to just punch him in the face. >> Exactly. >> Did you guys see this? I don't know if. everybody saw this. He got suspended for. a game for this. Just out of nowhere, no. look. Kind of a a little bit of a. sneaker. Boom. Little sneaky sneaky sneaker. Boom. Right to the button. Now, he has a. helmet on. Okay. So, obviously you're. going to be protected. That's literally. what the helmet's on for that. But I'm. on Ross St. Brown's hands are down and. he's walking a different direction. I'm.
not sure he knew a looping right was. coming at his helmet to say, >> but I'll tell you what. I tell you what, uh, the NFL did not like it. Yeah, the. NFL did not like it immediately. Quick. Yep. >> They suspend it. Can't have that. Especially uh when we got a lot of eyes. on this because the president's going to. be speaking in the third quarter. They're actually going to have him call. play. >> Oh, that's probably why. Like I said, I. probably didn't like to dance. [laughter]. >> Maybe. Yeah, I just thought about it. >> Chris Sims had no idea. Somebody needs. to tell him maybe what was going on.
Hey, at the beginning of that highlight, they were trying to lead you to. something there. Maybe it was. >> I can't wait till I get next. [laughter]. Yeah. >> Uh, next week, great dance, by the way. I remember that was the talk of the. town. >> I thought it was the opposite of that. I. thought Darren Darren Payne was more so. saying like, I ain't gonna just sit here. and get blown out in front of President. Trump. I'm going to punch someone in the. face. I love that. And then I don't have. to play the rest of the game. >> So, he knows you're saying, >> I tell you what, a lot of people said a. lot of mean things to me cuz I broke. some news out of the White House. I. thought it was journalism. What are we.
talking about? Journalism. >> They were meeting for breaking news. >> Yeah. A lot of people were saying I was. doing a lot of stuff. I was doing a lot. of stuff. I mean, they're gonna be. crazy. I can't wait to see how they. react tomorrow. I can't wait to see how. they react. Tomorrow's a big one. Yeah. Tomorrow's It's not for the first 15. because tomorrow is full 24 hours of. honor and thanking. But I'll tell you, tomorrow is going to be. >> tomorrow's going to be big. >> Hell yeah. Historic. >> Happy birthday, Marines. >> Happy birthday. No. >> It wasn't just the Detroit Lions that.
made the 4:00 slate completely. fornicated. Oh, no. No. There's two. other options and the NFC West said, "We'll go ahead and take care of those. for you." LOS ANGELES RAMS DOMINANT. NOW, IT did become a little bit of a. game. This one was one-sore game for a. little bit and then Matthew Stafford. does ahead and hits the gas pedal at the. end of this thing to put it away. This. Los Angeles Rams team is special. Offensively, they're special. Obviously, Puka Nakua is Puka Nakua. He might be. the best wide receiver in football on. any given day whenever he's playing. football. insanely tough, very quick,
vibes immaculate, and always wants to. show up for his team. We love us. They. add Devonte Adams. So now coverages have. to do what they have to do. Down the red. zone, they're damn near unstoppable. because you can't double Devonte because. you got Puka on the other side. So. Devonte's one-on-one either with your. second or third corner. And on the goal. line, that's unstoppable. I I mean, it's. absolutely. And Matthew Stafford does. just that every time. This is their goal. line play. It's every single week. Hey. Devonte, whatever the hell you want to.
do to the guy. You want to go inside, you do it. You want to go outside, you. do it. I'm going to hit you with the. ball. They do it anytime they're inside. the three. It's their tush push. They. got the Hall of Fame right arm of. Matthew Stafford in the Hall of Fame. release of Devonte Adams. They put that. together and it's a touchdown creating. machine. It's outrageous what they've. been able to build, especially because. whenever they started building this. team, they went all in and lost all. their picks. They lost all their picks. They we they weren't looking for the. future at all is how everybody was. judging them. And now here we are in. that particular future. They're young on.
defense. Very good offense. They have. weapons. And Matthew Stafford looks like. he's 14, 15, 16 years old again, spinning it all over the yard. Was it. because of that he went into in training. camp? This guy's outrageous. He's better. than he's ever been. >> Yeah, we're worried about him. Anytime. you got a old player, old quarterback. coming into the season with a back. injury, you're very, very worried. But. he's playing probably the best football. of his career. This is now three. straight games where he's thrown four. passing TDs and zero interceptions, which is insane in the National Football.
League. You talked about the players on. the field. Obviously, everyone has the. talent. We talked about it. But then the. coaching, coaching matters, and these. are two coaches that are very familiar. with each other, but Shawn McVey has. these boys rolling. [clears throat] Tom. Brady, I think this was a great call, the freaking no look. I mean, he's the. OG of that. He's been doing that for a. long, long time. He makes it look so. easy. This I mean, go out and try this. in your backyard with throwing at seven. and eight year olds. This is tough. [laughter] to do, let alone on the NFL. field. But yeah, Sean McVey has done a. tremendous job. And uh Tom Brady made a. great point about something they're. doing with their offense. They're using.
a lot of 13 personnels and then getting. matchups with these wide receivers. against linebackers and safeties because. they're facing base coverages as opposed. to like nickel coverages. >> So since week four, you talked about the. four plus passing touches, no intercept. Since week four, he has 20 passing. touchdowns to zero interceptions. >> Jesus, >> he's hilarious. >> Hey, that's he got drafted in our class. Look what we're doing. Yep. >> Look what we are doing. >> Doing it for a while. >> How long we've been doing this? We got. drafted I got drafted 221 picks apart. from Matthew.
>> I got 40 picks after him. >> Damn. >> Damn. >> What the hell? >> Okay. >> Hey, dude. >> That's a good That's a good signing. bonus. >> And in this in that in that. >> economy. Yeah. >> Yeah. [laughter] We had we had we had. four we had your teammate Don Brown went. first round. >> I think he was the 27th pick maybe. And. then we had uh Will Bey go to the Giants. in the second round and Cody Brown go to. the Cardinals in the second round. >> Donald Brown was a beast. I love that. man. I hope he's good. We would all like. to say what's up to him. Um but yeah, Matthew Stafford's only getting better.
somehow. It makes no sense. And his no. look passes are are getting more more. very like regular now. Like it's just. average stuff. I think a lot more people. are doing it, but he has to everybody's. uh point been doing this for his entire. career. Which is why BA, who's called. the quarterback whisperer, said that. Matthew Stafford was the only. quarterback he'd go out and watch warm. up because of the [ __ ] he can do with. it. Well, he's got weapons. He's got. McVey calling the plays and he can still. do it. He's special right now. MVP at. this age would be wild for Matthew. Stafford. >> Yeah, definitely deserves it. And I.
believe Brady said on the broadcast that. he's never been an allp pro quarterback, so can lock that in for first team. But, uh, Brady also talked about how, um, you. know, the no looks started with Calvin. Johnson because like everyone knew, okay, it's Matt Stafford and Calvin. Johnson on the Lions. That's where the. ball's going. So, he just naturally. started working on the no- look passes. But aside from that, Debb brought up the. 13 personnel. Like, now that they can. just roll out three tight ends, Higgby, uh, Ferguson, who was their second round. pick from Oregon, and Parkinson who.
scored that touchdown there, like they. can legitimately beat you on offense. And and I don't know how you can game. plan for it. >> Hey, let's talk about another team in. the NFC West that can win it all. This. Seattle Seahawks team is hilarious. >> Yeah, real. >> They are so good. And we thought the. Cardinals were good. We like the. Cardinals. Hey, the Cardinals might. still be good. They they had a couple. touchdowns they put up there. This was a. boat race early. This was a lot of. points to no points in Seattle. And. Jackson Smith and Jigma gets on the. board early. I think he went down for a. little bit. Something happened this. summer. Yeah, I don't remember. It was.
late in the thing. I think I saw a. photo. Maybe not. I let's just act if. nobody else heard it or saw it, let's. not even talk about it. We have a man on. the phone here in about a minute and a. half who'll be able to give us some. updates of it all. But the Seattle. Seahawks outrageous how good they are. Sam Darnold so good on the ground so. good through the sky so good defensively. tough, hard-nosed, signed, gap control. It's like everything about them smells a. uh. >> this thing can win a championship. >> Another legit contender right here. We. always start with the quarterback. Sam.
Darnold has been playing at a very very. high level, but this game got out of. reach early because of the defense. Two. two fumble returns. I don't think this. has happened in I don't know how long, but Demarcus Lawrence had two fumbles. The same two players on a strip sack and. a fumble return, which is crazy. Jacob. Brousette kind of never had a chance. He. was under duress all [laughter]. afternoon long. He'll stay in there. Whenever you in possession like that, give the Seahawks extra possession. You. got no chance. It's a tough tough ball. club from the top to the bottom. Jacobe. was staying in there and he certainly. had I think it was like seven sacks in.
the first half. There was. >> Cuba Cup, forget about him. >> Him being back is crazy just because. Jackson Smith and Jigba's having the. season that he's having. Oh yeah, triple. crown actually quadruple crown winner. just from five, six years ago also on. the team and hopefully healthy for the. entirety of the year. Congrats to the. Seahawks. The NFC's favorites though. have kind of separated themselves and. tonight it's Eagles and Packers. You. know, we're going to learn a lot here, I. think, over the next few weeks, but it. feels like we're starting to know who's. who in both the conferences. The NFC. favorites dominated that 4:00 uh time.
slot, and we all started doing stuff. other than watch the games. That was. crazy. Big time. It was tough. >> It was a weird thing. Three games, all. of them bad, not good. That's why March. Madness has like 15 games on at the same. time. Exactly. Hey, a couple of these. going to be asked. We got to find a good. one. We need that. Yesterday, let's go. to the number three headline. The sports. books and Steelers fans. No. >> Mhm. Okay, sports books had the. Baltimore Ravens at like two and four, two and five as the favorites to win the. AFC North when the Pittsburgh Steelers. were uh four and one or whatever the.
hell it was. Five, four and two, five. and two, whatever the hell they Okay, they were way down early. Steelers spent. all the money on the roster and were. winning and the sports books did not. budge. They're like, Baltimore Ravens. are going to win the AFC North. This is. how this is going to go for weeks and. weeks. And I actually just thought it. was so preposterous that I'm like, "Well, this sounds like it has to be. right." So, I've literally only picked. the Ravens just because it's like the. time travelers who do the sports books. things are saying this is going to. happen. And lo and behold, it seems like.
it is happening. Lamar Jackson and the. Ravens getting very, very good. Okay, very, very good. Couple turnovers from. JJ McCarthy. Obviously, the defense is. only going to get better from where they. started this entire thing. And Lamar. Jackson after he goes ahead and takes. the ping pong tables and a cornhole. board and everything out of the locker. room comes back from his hamstring. injury completely locked in. Conor Mc. Connor is giving a great face right now. because obviously Drake May JJ McCarthy. conversations are going to happen. JJ. will miss. Okay, he will miss by a lot.
He will miss by a lot. He's got to get. better with his accuracy which I think. is possible. If you go back to like Josh. Allen, there's a chance he's able to do. that. Has competitive spirit, all that. [ __ ] He misses a lot of throws by a. lot, but he also makes throws out of. nowhere that shouldn't be made. On that. note, Baltimore Ravens [laughter]. need. >> a slit. >> First off, that's not JJ either. That's. nine. >> Yeah, okay. Okay, okay, okay. You're. right. It's it's his e his onfield. Maybe we need to see JJ. Maybe JJ's the. NFL version. Nine.
>> Yeah, maybe nine isn't in the NFL. Maybe. nine retired with a national. championship 11 Michigan. there's but in. a leadership sense he has a lot of Don. Brady right okay so there's a lot of. things you can look at that I'll look on. the other side Baltimore Ravens are real. and uh the Baltimore Ravens the sports. books knew they were going to be good. Lamar Jackson feels good a lot of losses. early they're going to be chasing all. season that's good motivation for that. team and then the Pittsburgh Steelers. get a huge win over the Indianapolis. Colts make makes me as a Colts fan don't.
worry you'll see number one in the. headlines here you'll see exactly where. I'm at makes me as a Colts fan question. some things but we had six turnovers. Like that's not going to be a normal. day. But the Pittsburgh Steelers forced. those things. You know, the Pittsburgh. Steelers made great plays. It's like. maybe the Pittsburgh Steelers are a team. that we need to think about going. forward. That's how I felt after the. Colts game. Last night halftime, I said, "Fuck this. I'm going to bed. [laughter]. You still. >> I'm going to bed. I'm not staying up for. this shit." I mean, it was not good last. night, but we think the Chargers are a. good football team as well. But it feels.
like Steelers fans have been waiting for. this particular game, especially on. prime time. Yeah, there was about a week. ago when I looked at the schedule to see. what time this game was and oh [ __ ]. it's a prime time game. This is not. going to go well. I don't know why. things don't go well in prime time for. the Steelers as of late, but they don't. Specifically on the offensive side of. the ball, anything that could go wrong. did go wrong last night. It was Aaron. Rogers worst game of the season by far. Wasn't even close. Was overthrowing DK. was uh under throwing guys. That was not. even That was an overthrow for an. interception. Uh Bos missed a field goal.
>> inside 50. >> 45. >> Yeah. Soon as Bos missed the field goal, I knew the night was over. The defense. played well. I mean, they held the. Chargers to what, 12 points in the in. the fourth quarter. Um, >> good route. >> But yeah, after uh after Bos missed in. halftime, I said, I know what this. team's going to do in the second half, and it's not going to be good. So, I I. turned it off. This team is not going to. ruin my night and tomorrow. >> Okay. So, I I like that you said that. I. like you said, but on that note, that's. what Steelers fans have been saying. about the Steelers team, even whenever. they've had the winning record, >> buddy. Yeah, Steelers fan, I give them.
this. They know ball. Even when they. were 11 and0 all those years ago, they're like, "Ah, nope. This ain't a. this ain't a Super Bowl winning team.". >> Steelers fans are very, very truthful. >> They're knowledgeable. They know their. team. They know how they're going to. show up on prime time. But I was. surprised with this outcome because of. because the Steel Curtain showed up. Now, it is true. It was only because the. '05 team was there because this. the hell. >> Okay. >> Jack Car here. >> Oh, no. >> He better be. Mhm.
Zto's on the road, [laughter] baby. Thank you, Zo. >> The thing didn't close either. The fire. trap door. >> Well, that is actually I think that is. sports media telling us through we have. breaking news. Brian Dable has been fired. WHAT? [screaming]. >> AS the New York Giants head coach, uh, in the middle of the first 15 here, our. alarms were sirening off because, hey,
there's breaking news. Stop talking. about the Pittsburgh Steelers losing to. the Chargers. You lost enough of your. life watching that game last night. Pivot to some breaking news. The New. York Football Giants are moving on from. their head coach. Joining us now, ladies. and gentlemen, a senior NFL insider for. ESPN, Michigan man, Adam Shfter. She. >> Chefy, I know you were kind of waiting. for us to finish while you were breaking. that news. Did you expect that was. coming this morning or has this kind of. come out of nowhere for you, Chefy?
>> No, I think that we kind of had a sense. that this was possible. We knew this was. coming. And Pat, our timing has been. impeccable over the last week where. basically uh you're getting me honest. You got sauce Garner being traded, Rasheed Shahed being traded, Quinnon. Williams was coming down last week. Oh. Um, >> let me remind you of all the things I've. done here. >> It is. It is just Brian Dable who's been. dismissed. >> That is the only one. >> And. >> interesting. >> We're in the midst of a season here. This is uh this is pretty amazing when.
you look at it. Uh the Giants interim. head coach, whoever that will be, >> uh will be their sixth head coach since. 2016. >> Geez. Okay, so that's nine years ago. Sixth head coach. Obviously, a lot of. turnover. We saw the hard knocks behind. the scenes in the offseason whenever, you know, Mara comes in and Shane talks. about moving on from Saquon to go in. with Danny Dimes. We've seen Dayball run. the meetings basically for all of their. picks that they've done at the combine.
in the draft process. Dayball knew this. was a make orb breakak season. Uh is. that why he potentially wanted Aaron. Rogers maybe his quarterback, Russell. Wilson as a quarterback, Jameus Winston. as a quarterback, like a veteran. quarterback to be able to go on a run? And what does this mean for Jackson Dart. in a development of the future here? She. in your eyes? >> Well, I I think here's the deal. Jackson. Dart has been evaluated for four. concussions this year. Four. And so the. biggest thing this team can do is make.
sure it's protecting its quarterback. We've got a quarterback that has been. evaluated for concussions. We've got a. team that has blown double-digit leads. in four different road games. They are. the inverse of the Chicago Bears. They've been in position to win all. these games and haven't gotten it done. And I think that at some point in time, you make the decision that we're not. going to move forward with this guy. I. think this is a team also that puts so.
much money and time and investments and. picks [clears throat] into its defense. and the defense is one of the worst in. the league right now. And so I think. that they feel like they need a reboot. here and they made the decision to move. on from Brian Daval. We'll see who the. interim head coach is. Um I'm trying to. think of the candidates on staff. Mike. Kfka is the offensive coordinator. Uh he. might be a candidate here to take over. as the head coach, though they might. want him to concentrate on the offense,
in which case it would be the special. teams coach. Um, so yeah, but Brian. Dable becomes the second head coach let. go this year following Brian Callahan in. Tennessee. >> You talk about the defense and having. all these players supposed to be good. and being dreadful. Then it makes you. automatically go to Shane. So Shane not. they're not moving on from Shane right. now. You say the general manager. Do we. think he. >> Not right now? I'm I'm told that Brian. Dable is the only one. I look I think. it's fair to assume that when you're. firing the head coach, everybody is.
going to come under review. everybody. What they do with that, we'll see. That'll be up to John Mar, Steve Tish, and others. But obviously, they felt. like this was a move that they had to. make today. >> Um, okay. We appreciate the insight, and. thank you for joining us here. immediately. We've talked about a few. things in this top five headlines. Do. you mind if we go to number two right. now while you're on here? >> What is number two? >> More visible picture at the MVP picture. It feels like there is now a threehorse.
race for the MVP in Drake May. Matthew. Stafford and Jonathan Taylor. First, we'll go with Drake May. Unbelievable. for a second year, second head coach, second offensive coordinator, three if. you go back three years for him back to. college. He is leading this Patriots. I. I mean, it is fun to watch. Had him. early. You know, it feels like the Tampa. Bay Buccaneers Todd Bose defense had him. early cuz I was reading Conor's uh. tweets about it's like, whoa, tough day. with Todd Bose right now. Tough day. Then he makes this throw with a guy. about to hit him. Has to be a touch pass.
with like a quarter throw and it's like. this dude is special special. And it's. not just us saying that. Sher sports. books have him as the odds on favorite. to win the MVP. That is insane to think. about at this stage. Matthew Stafford, we just talked about being immaculate. And then Jonathan Taylor, this dude's. special. 250 yards or whatever it was in. Germany yesterday. He's been doing it. all season. There's a lot of stats and. factoids about what he's been doing. verse Adrien Peterson in Adrien. Peterson's MVP season up to this point.
Obviously, what the teams were 8 and2, six of four, he has 17 touchdowns. >> I had to I I thought we had a seven. touchdowns, 1,399 yards from scrimmage, 1,283. yards from scrimmage. So what Jonathan. Taylor doing is doing is obviously. historic and obviously better than an. MVP season was for a running back in the. past. Adrien Peterson we all have. massive respect for as a football. player. He was untackable and Jonathan. Taylor's the same damn thing. And when.
Jonathan Taylor gets any space, he's. gone. He is winning games for the. Indianapolis Colts. And you got. everybody on that team, you know, Zire. at the end of that 44 was saying, "You're the best player in the world.". Literally on camera. I got a text from. Daniel Jones said we got the best player. on earth in Jonathan Taylor. He said. life is good with him. Nobody expected. this from the Colts, Adam Shfter, and I. don't know if anybody expected this from. Jonathan Taylor either. If you're a. voter, which I don't know if you are or. not, are you going to give it to a. running back, Shifty, or is this just a. quarterback award, do you think, through.
and through? >> Well, here's what I'm going to say to. you, Pat. If we go back the last 12. years, 12. Okay. The quarterback has won. the most valuable player by the way. Mike Kfka officially the interim head. coach for the New York Giants. Mike. Kfka, the interim head coach for the New. York Giants. He takes over for Brian. Dable who was let go here this. afternoon. I want to give you something. here that's interesting. >> The quarterback position, a quarterback.
has won the NFL MVP each of the last 12. years. If we go back over the last. seven, there are 50 voters for the MVP. award. My friend Peter King pointed this. out to me this morning. There are 50. voters for the MVP award. In the last. seven years, there have been 350. first place votes for the MVP. Of those. 350 votes, 349. over seven years have been for.
quarterbacks. The only single vote, single vote in the last seven years, not. for a quarterback, was for Cooper Cup in. 2021. Other than that, a quarterback has. gotten every first place vote for the. MVP award. So, that tells you that Drake. May, Matthew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, they're in the. lead. However, saying that, I am not a voter. I'm glad.
I'm not a voter, but I I guess I'm not, you know, I've never been asked to be a. voter. I I've not been a voter since I. was younger. Those privileges were. revoked. Uh my Hall of Fame privileges. were revoked when I was in NFL Network. They never gave them back to me. I I. guess I can make fun of it now. Nobody. ever gave me back and and and there are. a lot more there are a lot of people out. there, Pat, that that know the game way. better than me. So, they don't need my. vote and they don't they don't and they. don't need me to vote on the Hall of. Fame either. There's a lot of people. more than me. >> Oh, jeez. The fire trucks outside.
>> Jesus. Hey, everything's all right. Thanks for coming, boys. >> Let him know. >> DAY BALL WAS JUST GETTING FIRED, DUDE. SO, THE fire alarms went off here in. Indianapolis. But I did not know you got. your voting privileges revoked. I'm. happy you keep that chip on your. shoulder every single day when you wake. up and try to change the course of the. NFL with your breaking news. 349 of the. 350 votes over the last seven years have. gone to a quarterback. Cooper Cup. Obviously, everybody says he won the. Triple Crown that year. It was actually. the guat because he got the yards after. catch too. Oh yeah. So it was like uh.
catches, touchdowns, uh yards, and then. also yards after catch he had. So it was. like all four he was across the board. He got one MVP vote. Okay, he got one. Jonathan Taylor's doing special things. Let's go to somebody who actually has an. MVP uh vote, AP tone. Running back. potentially in the running, especially. with how good this Colts team is, the. position we're in, best team in the AFC, and he is clearly the best player on the. team. Everybody on the team agrees that. >> Yeah, good news. just got the uh email. this week. I am back uh this year. I was. I would get a key pace. Chef, you're.
bum. CHEF IS A BUM. >> JEFF, YOU CAN SEND ME your list. Maybe. I'll take it into consideration or not. But yes. Yes. Jonathan Taylor and a. running back should always be considered. when you're having a historic season. like this. It doesn't have to be just a. quarterback award. It's not named a. quarterback award. So yes, if Jonathan. Taylor is the most valuable player, he. should win the MVP award. >> Drake May, odds on favorite to win the. MVP. No Patriots fan. Go ahead. I'm. sorry. I said I Well, that's what I was. saying before I got in a little bit of a. riff. I don't know how you don't give.
the award today. Today, November 10th, to Jonathan Taylor. The guy's had four. hattick games, four games where he. scored three touchdowns each. He right. now is on pace to do things that very. few running backs in the history of. football ever have done. We're talking. about a historic season. Now again, there are a lot of games left, but look. at the production. Look how it compares. to when Adrien Peterson won MVP.
>> John only scored he's only scored 10. more touchdowns than him at this point, right? >> Oh, yeah. >> 10 more. >> Right. Yeah. So, >> yeah, that's what. >> again. >> Pat, if I did have a vote right now, I. would VOTE FOR JOHN, BUT I DON'T HAVE A. VOTE, SO I CAN'T. >> OKAY. YEAH, we understand. You got it. revoked once again. >> Now, getting it back. Tone said he will. listen to any ideas, but obviously he. has more sway than you, he still has a. vote for good reason. But let's go to. the odds on favorite right now because. of everything you just chatted about. I. think everybody just assumes, including. sports books, inevitably at the end of.
the day, push comes to shove. Whenever. it's time to vote, they'll say the. person that's touching the ball every. single play is the most valuable. position. That is normally the argument. It's not the most best player, it's the. most valuable player. Quarterback's. always going to be the most valuable. That's why they're getting paid $60. million a year cuz they touch the ball. every single play. Jonathan Taylor, I I. think Danny Dimes would be okay with him. touching the ball every single play and. I think our offense would, but we got. weapons everywhere else as well, which. is why the culture is so good. Let's. talk about Drake May, though. Odds on. favorite con man. Nobody expect that as.
a Patriots fan coming in the season, right? How could you expect the Patriots. secondyear quarterback who wasn't the. first quarterback drafted? He's on a. brand new head coach to be the MVP odds. on favorite through 10 weeks. Congrats. to you guys and congrats to Drake May. who seemingly has it all. >> Yeah, incredible first 10 games. Just to. kind of piggyback off that Jonathan. Taylor thing for uh Drake May, he's the. first quarterback in the history of the. NFL to have 2500 pass yards, 70 plus. completion percentage, 250 rushing. yards, and five or fewer interceptions.
Shout out Greg Harvey. Um, when we're. talking about value and just, you know, valuable as being the word here, you can. go to all those other players and then. look at the cap space spent across the. other offenses. I mean, it's not even. close. Drake May would be most valuable. I think Matt Stafford's most deserving. >> Okay. And the number one story uh of the. weekend is the Colts are going to win. Super Bowl. >> Hell yeah. >> Colts go win Super Bowl. Congrats to us. A huge win. Uh, we got about a heart out. here in 1 minute. This came quickly. 42minute first 15 here. Chefy Eagles.
Packers tonight. Literally one minute we. have. What should we be thinking about? >> I KNEW YOU. I GOT YOU. STEP OUT OF THE. WAY, PAT. I GOT YOU. I think we're going. to get Nolan Smith back tonight for the. Philadelphia Eagles. I think he'll be. activated by 4:00. Jier Alexander did. not make the trip for the Philadelphia. Eagles. Not going to play against this. former team. And this is all about the. tush push tonight. The Packers were the. team that proposed banning it. We heard. Micah Parsons last year with the Cowboys. talk about the fact that it was a. terrible play. Now the Eagles are gonna. get a chance to take their tush push and.
shove it off the Packers tush bush. tonight in Green Bay on Monday Night. Football. >> You're the man. Way to tush push your. way right through that. You're the best. Adam Sheff [applause and cheering]. breaking news on the show. We appreciate. the hell out of them. And that's first. 15, ladies and gentlemen. >> It's also the first hour. Okay, that was. pretty good for overreaction Monday. Hour two will be on the other side. We. got Herb Street joining us. He almost. called the game perfectly. Got AJ Hawk. We got more chatter. Be a friend. Tell a. friend something nice. It might change. your life. See you on the other side.
>> We have a great Texas boy named. >> John. >> John. Okay. What's your last name? [cheering] John. >> Uh John Mto. >> Have you ever kicked a ball before? >> I have. >> Uh growing up I played soccer in high. school. I kicked kickoffs and onsides. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. >> All right. So I've never met anybody. that just kicked kickoffs and onsides. Does that mean cuz you couldn't hit the. broad side of the barn with the. football? So, my junior year, I missed. an extra point. We lost to the state.
champs by one and I was removed. >> Redemption comes today for you, John. Here's the deal. Redemption is obviously. sweet. >> Hey, look at here. He's getting He's. taking his He's taking his uh his shoes. off. >> Okay, we're going barefoot. Okay, we got. the Texas Tech Red Raiders cheerleader. squad, which I believe is the best in. the country as well. We got [cheering]. WE GOT FINGER GUNS ALL OVER THE PLACE. WE GOT PHONES EVERYWHERE TRYING TO. WITNESS THIS MOMENT THAT YOU WILL. REMEMBER FOREVER. Your [music] kicking. story doesn't have to end with a missed.
extra point, brother. It can end with. one kick. for $500,000. [cheering]. >> I mean, just just just. >> half a million DOLLAR HERE IN LEACH, TEXAS. 500,000. JOHN, ONE SHOT. REDEMPTION IS SWEET. OH, [screaming]. I that's that's not fun. That is not how.
I thought this was going to go. >> Oh my gosh. >> Oh, [cheering] Johnny deserves one more. shot out of Witchah. >> John, >> new ball. We got a new ball. >> Yeah, but if you don't stand for. anything, you fall for everything. >> Okay, how about this? >> 250,000 to you. 250,000 to a charity. here in Loving. This is your last kick. and this is your last opportunity maybe. in your whole life to make a kick. YOU.
PLAYED SOCCER YOUR WHOLE LIFE. YOU'VE. KICKED BALLS FOREVER. Swing through the. damn THING AND PUT IT THROUGH THE. UPRIGHTS AND DON'T LET STANFORD STEVE. WAVE THIS OFF. >> HE LIKES to do that. >> Yeah. Make this thing pure, John. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Good for John. Good for John. Good for. John. That was awesome. Good for. [cheering] John. I knew it.
Hey, [cheering]. >> you did it, buddy. >> John, congratulations, John. [cheering]. >> Yeah, brother. Good job. >> All right, John. Good job, boy. Hell. yeah. John, come get your big check that you. need to take TO A BIG BANK cuz you just. made a big kick to change your life. We're happy for you. >> The following program is a collection of.
students talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic, informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss, or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. >> Hey,
let's go. >> This show sticks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. >> McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers. You pick. Damn it. Be a friend. Tell a friend. something nice could change their life. >> Hello, beautiful people and welcome to. our.
humble abode, the Thunderdome on this. overreaction Monday, November 10th, 2025. Hours of the program begins now. football. Happy birthday to the Marine. Corps. And uh breaking news uh from the. first hour, we'll be live from Paris. Island tomorrow as we honor and thank. the veterans of this United States of. America as the only show that'll be live. from a base tomorrow, I do believe, and. also the only show that's ever really. been live from Paris Island. Paris.
Island is the eastern half of the United. States of America Marines Boot Camp. Eastern Mississippi, you go Paris. Island. Western Mississippi, you go San. Diego. Okay, this is where Marines are. made. We actually uh they actually have. a sign that says we make Marines that. all the recruits during their final on. their way to the Eagle Globe and anchor. ceremony walk under and hike through and. then they get to the parade deck and. then they're you know officially. made into Marines after a grueling. 13-week boot camp down there where it is.
>> everything you could imagine and then. some with drill instructors who are the. baddest humans on earth expecting. perfection from 0400 all the way to 2000. I believe ours in every moment in. between is perfection. We need it and. also we need you to not be asking any. questions and just go do the damn thing. First the fight are the Marines kind of. mantra and tomorrow we'll be very lucky. to be able to broadcast live from their.
home and uh yeah it's going to be a. special day tomorrow as we say thanks to. the vets around the United States of. America. And we're incredibly lucky and. thankful that we're going to be able to. do it. The toxic tables here at Boston. Connor and at Ty Schmidt. Big one. tonight, Ty. >> Big one tonight. Yeah. Kind of a must. need almost a have to win this one. tonight. I. >> I like that you went with the NFL. Premium Plus Pro. Uh kind of. >> tossel cap, if you will. You know, it. doesn't have the toss. >> toss. Yeah. Beanie. >> Beanie. But it's a fold up though.
>> Beanie. I don't know if Beanie has the. fold up, right? That's kind of the. beanie has the. >> Yeah, that what you see. And does beanie. have the thing the the top little? >> No, that's a tossle. I think that's a. tossle. Beanie for me doesn't have the. fold up. It's just the. down slides over. >> Yeah, that one I don't think. >> So maybe a toque. >> You call it skully. Skully. >> See, I think you would call uh Scoly the. one that doesn't have the fold. Doesn't.
go over your ears. >> Yeah, I would call it a winter hat. growing up. Let me just grab one of my. winter hats here. >> That's what you said. I think Canadians. call it a toque. Is that Is that what. the the title is, Gumpy? >> Yeah, it's a 2K. It's what it's all. about. >> Okay. So, >> we're not calling it that. >> A 2K. >> It's a gourd on you to say that with. that hat on. We We might call it a. toque. >> Pinnacle, brother. >> Okay. That is nine-year NFL vet Darius. J. Butler. Grew up in South Florida, you. know. So, all this talk about beanies. and skullies and tossel caps are. certainly right on brand for everything.
going on. That particular hat was. alarming today. Did not expect to see. that. Thought we were out of the woods. >> No kid. with the like for a long time. >> Uh we got a couple more weeks. Championship. It's championship season. now. >> Joining us now live from an attic in. Ohio is a college football national. champion, Super Bowl champion, Ryder Cup. winner, hater of G1. Ladies and. gentlemen, AJ. Hawker, what do you call it? >> Uh snow hat. I've always called that. All versions, whether it folds or not, we just say snow hat. >> Really? Snow? >> Yeah. I don't know where I got it from, but yeah, someone obviously passed it.
down to me here in Ohio. >> All the different forms. You You call. them all the same. What about the one. with the uh the uh. >> Oh, the way. >> Yeah, like the Russian. like the uh old uh what's the movie? Grumpy old men. Like those dudes that. wrap around your ears and you tie it. underneath uh you call I don't know the. old man snow hat maybe. >> Okay, maybe that's the right play cuz. they have that fold up in the front. >> Yeah, >> I had a run with that one where I. thought by far coolest snow hat I guess. is what we're calling all these things. That one was the best. Have you seen. that one? >> I have not. I don't think so. I just.
remember that though from uh when Pete. was about to beat the [ __ ] out of. >> Bruce [laughter]. was trying to be low. >> Yeah, he had he had beanie on. Yeah, he. had Scoly [clears throat] on. Beanie on. There was no fold up there. The one that. goes over the ears. >> I think we should all think about if we. get into another situation where we're. calling a game from the sideline. I. think we should all have matching one. ones of those. >> That's a good idea. >> There's like Eskimo hats almost. >> Anyway, yeah, for sure. I I think that. is what you would certainly get in and. >> sounds much worse actually.
>> The the proper the proper name sounds. much worse. >> That's what we called them con man. growing up for what it's worth. >> Inuits. >> I bet you did. >> No, we used the other word and use that. hat. But that is what we called them. growing up. >> Oh, like you're talking about like Inuit. brothers. >> Yeah. Never heard that. >> What you talking about? >> Never heard that term. >> What? >> I think we've heard other terms. >> What? Really? >> I'm not going to say it. No, I think. what are you talking about though? >> All right. >> I just never heard any with brothers. >> Commander brothers.
maybe. >> I think you can kind of tie Ipso facto. joining us now. Uh AJ, let's talk about. >> [laughter]. >> uh some of the games yesterday. Now. Inuit's great name by the way. I pitched. for a hockey team named Deitz [laughter]. and uh I don't know if it's really a. brand name, you know, but we can make it. that certainly be making the world a lot. better, too. Eskimos is I believe proper. term is inwood if you were to Google it. Sure. I I believe that would that would. say that. Nonetheless, legends both of.
them. And their hats. >> the best. >> Oh yeah. >> For good reason cuz they got a. >> It's cold up there. >> I have seen those. >> You've seen those, right? >> Tuskegee airman. >> Oh. >> yes. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That is that is what it is. >> Yep. >> I have seen. >> So you should wear those maybe. >> Yeah. We got another Ohio State game. situation. Absolutely. >> How about the Tennessee team when they. came out shirtless? All of us from the. north were just like this is not the one. to do that brother. If it's like 40 30. maybe that we're negative right now.
Yeah. Your body's taking in actual. damage right now. It is uh you are what. we say in a bad position. >> I looked it up because I was just always. a tossel guy. Apparently that's a user. term. >> Tossel cap. >> Mhm. >> See that's what happens. Game day going. to Pittsburgh on Saturday. Uh, obviously. Pittsburgh Steelers last night in prime. time against the Chargers put the world. to bed at halftime probably with the way. that whole thing went. What are your. thoughts on this Pittsburgh Steelers. team? We had a uh I think our number. three headline or something was sports.
books and Steelers fans knew. Sports. books had the Baltimore Ravens as the. winners of the AFC North weeks ago. whenever they were way out of contention. in a lot of people's eyes, especially if. you looked at the record and Lamar. Jackson was hurt. Steelers were riding. high. I mean, Steelers even get a win. over Indianapolis Colts last week. I. think the Colts best team in football in. all three phases. So maybe Steelers were. able to go. Steelers fans never really. believed that they could do anything. special. They felt like it was another. year. Ho hom. How you going to do? The. Steel Curtain being all the way back. last week putting up a good performance. against Herbert maybe in indicates that.
they're going to be good down the road. Like what do you think about this. Pittsburgh Steelers team? Are they for. real or are the Steelers fans in sports. books right? You think AJ? >> Yeah, I don't know. Like I I think I. don't know how Steelers fans I I mean I. know Tone sometimes will lean negative. when he thinks of the Steelers and what. they're going to do and he thinks like. all doom and gloom like here we go he's. going to write him off for the end of. the year. I would never write them off. I still think they can put it together. but I don't from the start of this game. even though they were in it for a long. time. No matter how poorly they were. playing something was just off. Something it's one of those games. I. don't know. You got to give the Chargers.
credit. Obviously their defense. especially Lonkey this guy's awesome but. for I don't know. you know, the. Chargers. I'm sorry about that. But. Aaron, you know, a couple balls are. high, a ball, you know, ricochets off. old buddy and gets picked. Things like. that happen and they never really a lot. of times you can settle in and you'll. get a rhythm and they just never found. that rhythm offensively. >> Chargers are good football team too that. is getting lost in the sauce. That's why. it was a Sunday night football matchup. >> But after especially after what the. steel curtain did to us for the cuz Joe. als he's out. He's hurt and he's out for.
the season it looks like. Um I think I. believe and they're a completely. different team when Joe Al isn't in that. lineup and I know we give a bunch of. [ __ ] to the PFF. >> did you see them. >> ratings pregame but I think we had four. offensive linemen from the Chargers that. were like 34 35 of 36 in that starting. lineup. So I expected especially. >> it was insane [laughter]. of all time. >> Why do they want to put that on TV? You. got to find a graphic because it was it. was it was the worst I've seen,
especially on the heels of the. conversation we had with the ratings. But, uh, yeah, I was surprised for for. the Steelers to not show up. Uh, the. Chargers ran the ball well and obviously. Herbert made some timely, uh, throw. throwing catches, including Keenan Allen. becoming the alltime leader. >> Congrats to Ken. We love you. We're big. fans of Keenan. Huge. >> First time goes to Chicago. Second time. he comes back there. I just don't. understand why NBC would want to. showcase the ass of their positions. Like, why why is that something you'd. want to lead the show with? Why? Why. would you want to uh Can you put that.
down here? Can you put that down in. here, too? Yeah. Bradley Boseman, PFF. rank 36 of 36. He'll be your center. tonight. >> Let's go to Trey Pipkins. The third. He's your right tackle. HE'LL BE THE. 35TH OUT OF 36 right tackles in the. entire NFL. And don't you worry, Mai. Beckton senior here. You think that. actually says 38 of 37. HE'S CLOSE. IT'S. 36 OF 37. WHEN WE TALK ABOUT ASS, WE. MEAN THIS offensive line here. AUSTIN.
DECULUS. HE IS 38 OF 38 POSSIBLE. TACKLES. THAT IS WHAT YOU'RE TUNING IN. TO WATCH TONIGHT, FOLKS. 35, 36, 37, AND. 38 OF THEIR POSITION GROUPS. That is. what we want. Yeah. Why would you even. want to sell that? Like why would you? Let alone. >> if I'm the O line coach, I would. Sorry. If I'm the O line coach, I'm saying, hey, look what I I we won this game. Look who I'm working with. Even though. he doesn't feel that way about his. players because he loves them. But it.
does make you think like, hey, look, I. can I can coach anybody out here. These. guys look what they're rated. >> Can we not find a stat for Deculus that. makes Hey, this guy's three-point stance. looks cooler than anybody else. >> Put mean cuss on the bottom. >> Deculus. Mean cuss. PF stat. mean cut. >> Exactly. >> This guy PFF stat, very new, doesn't. have a lot of reps. His reps not good. Could be good tonight though. Like. anything that maybe sells the pro I. don't know why. And it feels like.
they're even more cemented in without. everybody without a doubt. And that's. certainly a part of a negotiation. I. assume Chris Collinsworth has. You got. to use PF on, you know, it's probably a. part of it all. But it's like, why would. you want to do that now? You pissed off. all those players forever, right? >> Those players and their families are. pissed off forever at you. And it's like. also if you're just casual watcher, it's. like, "Oh, great. Sunday Night. Football's all the worst players in the. in the league. That's cool. Why does. anybody want that out there?" I I don't. my brain too small, too stupid. I I. don't think I fully understand it. >> Well, and most people understand that.
you can just throw away that and you. just completely ignore it. But like for. a lot of casual fan, I mean that Sunday. Night Football is the biggest game in. town. We got so many people watching. that and it it creates unrealistic. expectations. So you got fans watching. like Steelers fans who you know maybe. aren't you know someone who covers it. dayto-day like we do. They look at that. it's like oh well if we don't beat the. hell out of these guys we [ __ ] suck. Are you kidding me? And then that. happens and IT'S LIKE. >> WE GOT HOW MUCH ARE WE PAYING? >> YEAH EXACTLY. >> WE GOT 34 35 36 and 38 out of 38 in this.
offensive line. TJ W can't get home. We're going to lose this game. >> Mhm. >> Okay. I don't think so. Yeah. I think. everybody's probably on a side, but PFF, well, I guess probably PF's probably. sick of it, too. Like, there's probably. people within PFF that are like, we. shouldn't be putting out the 38 of 38. rank. >> Like, I'm sure there's people in there. somewhere. >> Is this good free pub for them? Is this. free pub that they don't care about even. though it's somewhat negative publicity. people talking about? >> Yeah. I mean, it's all in how you want. to operate and live your life. >> Yeah, it's still going to be on there. next Sunday. >> Yeah, it really is.
>> Y say negotiate that interview. This guy. sucks. You see it? This guy's terrible. This guy really good. He should be. asking for a trade actually next year. This guy ass. >> That's crazy. >> Sorry, Bradley. >> Hey, Mr. Boseman. Sorry we went back. Hey, all we know #stat that one and0. Sunday night against. >> tough though. Boseman's got a lot of. texts from a lot of people that he. hasn't talked to in a long time. But I. didn't know you're having such a hard. time. [laughter]. >> You suck at your job, man. >> Hey, the NFL tough game, dude. Tough.
game. These guys are the. >> Do they rank 36 centers? Sorry. Do they. rank 36 centers or is that just like. interior alignment? What is that? >> I think it's center probably injuries. and stuff. >> Yeah, dude. >> Every snap, every every assignment. >> They know every assignment. You weren't. supposed to pass that guy off and get. the second guy. That guy actually got. the the sack. You were supposed to get. that guy. No, I was never supposed to. get that guy. No, you were. >> BFF size. Get it. See it? You touched. him. You let him go. Well, yeah, cuz I.
was passing him off. The guard's. supposed to have his No. Nope. 51 was. the mic. [laughter]. >> No, we actually we actually had 55 as. the mic here because we're offsetting. because they got a guy. Nope. >> Clearly. Do you want us to show you the. diagram? Here's Will. Here's Sam. Here's. the mic. >> Mhm. >> That's not right. That's actually a. joker. That's a star. That's not even. Nope. BFF's eyes. This is the mic. We. saw you before the snap, too. Point the. wrong guy. >> Mhm. >> Negative. >> All of it. We saw the quarterback trying. to quarterback came up here and said,
"Hey, no, it's this guy." And then you. you shoot him off. You were wrong twice. actually before I think two negatives. >> Yeah, don't worry. We dinged the. quarterback as well for not being able. to, you know, properly assess who it. was. He got dinged as well. >> Yeah, he should have been able to. convince you that you were wrong. So, he. got a negative for the play as well. BFF. size. >> Listen, we don't want to turn this. entire show into this cuz we could. >> We could we could go. I could go 45 minutes right now. >> Yep. Easy. >> Just acting like I'm a stats hero. Okay.
which there's a lot of you out there, okay? Not as much as it was before. Four. years ago, feels like the stats people. were really were the kings of sports. It. it really did feel like it. Then reality. settled in a little bit like, hey, you. know, numbers are numbers, but the. people that are creating the numbers, okay, existing in real time, humans, and. unless something's 100 to zero, even. then, maybe it's not a guarantee that. you guys are right. If stats were right, then sports betting wouldn't be a thing. because it would be easy just to kind of. read what you guys say and then that's a. matter of fact. But like humans don't.
wake up like video games, you know? Humans wake up maybe they're supposed to. be a 94 and they wake up at an 82, you. know, because it's week 10. Or sometimes. people wake up and they say, "Hey, I'm. 99 today. I I don't got the chain. I. don't have any of that." But you all. just kind of view it as a video game, these stats people. So, we just want to. let you know we appreciate you stats. people. We appreciate the humility over. the last couple years. >> because massive piece of football. And. on that note, every time they put up the. PFF ranking, you all look like [ __ ]. [laughter]. valid.
>> Yeah. >> It's not just PFF that looks like it. has. No, >> it's all the stats world looks like. because us in the sports world that we I. my entire career was built off stats. Obviously much more basic stats than the. stats you guys find. And I respect. stats. But us in the sports world just. go like these idiots still at the very. beginning just don't get it. They just. don't get it. They just don't get it. And they're just sticking to their ways. which is awesome. Yeah. We're going to. put 38 out of 38 up there. Somebody's. typing that in. >> Mhm. >> Mhm. >> Oh boy. and approving it. Man, >> we want to run this in the open. Biggest.
game of the of the night. Pittsburgh. Steelers a part of this one. Probably. going to be pretty big. Chargers big. Sunday Night Football. We've been. waiting all day. Up and to the right. You want to run this? 38 out of 38. Kind. of makes this guy look like ass. >> Is that what he is? >> Yeah. Send it out there and they get a win. >> Mhm. >> This Steelers team might stink. >> Oh no. >> Oh no. >> I think uh. >> lot of reaction tweets coming from. Pittsburgh Steelers. I I think they're. just an average football team. They can.
look shitty one night, they can look. great one week. Um and at the end uh. we're just going to be the same we have. been for the last few years. >> All right, we hit the top five headlines. uh in the first hour. We missed a couple. things and we always say, "Hey Debo, what were two things maybe we missed in. our first 15." Debo, what were those two. things that we missed in our first? >> Uh we'll start with the New York Jets. The first thing we missed with the first. 15, obviously Nick Mangold, they did a. great job, you know, representing him. Jeremy Ruckard, former Ohio State tight. end, actually walked in with Nick.
Mango's jersey. I thought it was. awesome. Awesome. And then the Jets, they showed up. They got a gritty win. We talked about teams with the back. against the wall. Team obviously selling. at the trade deadline. How they going to. show up? How they going to compete? And. they did it. Even with this ugly. statline from the offense and the. quarterback position, the special teams, the third phase showed up. We got Wong. Goo right here with a 95 yd kick return. Unbelievable. [screaming]. You know WHY.
>> up the sideline? Unbelievable play. When. you're a team struggling, especially on. offense, these uh special teams plays, they they play a huge role in getting. your team to win. And then the very next. return, we got a long punt return from. Isaiah Williams. Now, you never see. this. I believe we saw it earlier in the. season with the Patriots. They had two. back-to-back returns, but this is. unbelievable against the Cleveland. Browns right here. You cannot have this. with Isaiah Williams and the flag was. obviously not on the New York Jets. Unbelievable job by the New York Jets. >> YOU SAY, WE SAY, I SAY WILSON.
[laughter]. >> WELL, that's him. >> Williams. Williams. >> Williams. I say. >> that's what I said. I said Wilson. I. clearly [laughter] said Wilson, but it. is Mr. Williams. Anytime your special. teams can roll like that, come on. >> And Bruce Hall. Bruce Hall had a big. game, too. He had a late. This was a. touchdown here. Once again, uh Phil's. only completed six passes. This is. [laughter]. >> right between the two and the zero. Great blocking on the edge and he gets. up on the field. Obviously, Bree Hall.
was a big name around the trade deadline. as well. He had a big game. Another guy. who was a big name around the deadline, Will McDonald. He had four sacks. So, once again, when that all. >> he had a form, dude. [laughter]. >> He had four sacks. He had an. unbelievable performance. And I thought. Aaron Glenn, we talked about it earlier. with the uh with the Dolphins and Mike. McDaniel. Aaron Glenn, you know, when. you're selling and you're trading and. you're getting all these picks and. you're obviously rebuilding for the. future, how are the guys in that locker. room going to show up and compete? It. obviously is going to represent how the. coach hasn't prepared. He had a great.
postgame speech. I thought the postgame. vibes were in. And something he said at. the end of this speech was it's not just. about buyin, but it's about staying. So. obviously you buy in and it feels great. when you get a win right here. We know. how it was with the ugly start with the. Detroit Lions and now they're absolute. wagon. Maybe this is the beginning for. the New York Jets who's been looking for. a turnaround for a long long time. >> What happened in Detroit first year? MCDC and Aaron Glenn obviously a massive. piece of what happened up there in. Detroit, but what happened in your first. year with uh DC? >> Started out 0 and 10, 313 and one was.
the final record there. >> Okay. So, obviously it might take a. little bit to flip an entire culture. Feels like the Jets for this time are. ahead of schedule maybe in a restart. because they were able to get rid of. some of the big pieces of the past. AJ, is that what you're thinking as well? >> Yeah, it's definitely possible. But the. thing about the Lions compared to the. Jets, the Lions had Jared G right the. whole time. Are are the Jets moving. forward with is this their quarterback? Do they have their their franchise. quarterback? >> Now, I will say every insider and. football pundit person from ESPN we. talked to, okay, says they got a lot of.
picks, they got a lot of money. Now they. got to go make a selection at. quarterback and blah blah blah. They've. already done that. They selected Justin. Fields. >> many times. >> They paid Justin Fields a lot of money. They paid him $30 million I think in. total. $20 million a year. Now granted, is that anything in comparison to what. other quarterbacks are getting? No. But. the Pittsburgh Steelers had him last. year. The Pittsburgh Steelers made him. an offer. I think a couple other teams. made an offer. New York Jets paid him by. far the most money to be their. quarterback. So I'm not saying that they. said, "Hey, Justin Fields is our answer.
forever." But they certainly have made a. quarterback decision already and it's. like has not worked out. There was a. stat something about like 12 yards or. something. Yeah. Few pass yards in a. game this season coming from Hembo real. quick. Jets in week six uh six loss. versus the Broncos 10. Jets in week 10. versus the Browns 42. Jets in week two. loss versus Bills 54. And what was the. stat? >> If you take out the 42 yardd touchdown. from Bree Hall screen right there, Justin Fields had 12 passing yards. >> Why are we taking it out? I agree. But.
that's that's the stat I saw. He added. the stat we saw. That's what I saw. >> Yeah. And once again, I just saw it. My. eyes saw it. And once I saw it, I. thought to myself, well, that's. impossible. And if ifs and buts for Kies. and nuts, we'd all blah blah blah blah. blah blah blah blah what you know, but. obviously you can't take away a pass and. then say that was his total pass yards. But what the stat was alluding to is. like, was this Bree Hall or was this. Justin Fields here? And then once you. say, okay, well, let's eliminate that. Let's just go straight to Justin Fields. They're like barely a first down. This.
guy's throwing for. >> Yeah, I saw I did see the uh the next. gen passing chart and it was. >> it was pouring rain. It was pouring rain for for one, but but. also like with fields and of course you. you need a long-term answer at. quarterback for sure, but if you have. picks that are in the top 10, how how. valuable are five, you know, or sorry, three fivestar players, whe whether. that's offensive line, defensive line, you know, corner, and granted they just. traded two of those positions away, but. still like let's say they do say.
>> smaller contracts. >> Yeah. Yeah. Smaller contracts. And let's. say with Fields, it's like, okay, you're. right. We did pick our guy for two. years. So, let's just ride this contract. out. We have a bunch more picks uh you. know, the year after, but yeah, may. maybe. >> there's no way they could play with. Justin Fields again next week. I mean, next year. There's no way, you know, and. Justin, we love Justin. I don't really. know him actually, but I am a fan of. Justin Fields from afar. I think he's. probably a great human. I think he's a. great leader. I love his commitment to. his body. I appreciate everything he did.
at Ohio State. I think he's a freak. athlete. I think when he gets the ball. in his hands, he's the fastest guy on. the field. It is amazing to watch. >> He's tough. He's actually tough, too. He. took a monster shot if you remember in. college as well and kept coming. >> Yeah, but in the NFL as well when he was. back with the Bears, the only highlights. that were coming from their very. terrible seasons were Justin Fields. either running over people or around. people. I mean, he is a. >> D MVP. Yeah, I think Dano had to make. some decisions because of some potential. narratives that were building about the. way he felt about people, you know, and. that is certainly something that I think. Dano was doing in that particular moment.
there, you know, cuz he gave some takes. and everybody was like, "This guy. seemingly like MVP actually.". >> Ohio State quarterback. >> Yeah, exactly. >> Yeah, >> that's exactly what it was at the time. He got hot in the kitchen for Dan. I. mean, we and he did it on our show. So. this one of those things whenever. >> what people say on these microphones. don't necessarily reflect the opinions. of their peers, their boss or currently. at the moment the company is licensing. the show ESPN. >> With that being said, what people say in.
the microphones on this particular show. >> certainly goes hey. >> controversial guess. >> Jeopardy shout out. Dano certainly threw. himself into a fire too on our. particular show. So I got to see his. mentions. I I got to ride in his. mentions for a little bit. They are not. spectacular, but he did have hope for. Justin Fields. I think we all do because. of how athletic he is. Like how athletic. he's so athletic. He's so athletic. He's. so athletic. I think accuracy is a. thing. You know, I I I don't know if. it's necessarily easy. And being a. quarterback is not necessarily an easy. job. >> And for a while it was like, oh, the.
Bears organization just didn't do him. any favors at all. Um and then last year. it wasn't terrible. It wasn't great. either. And then this year, but no, I. think uh the Jets are probably going to. have, you know, a Mendoza or a Moore or. a Simpson at quarterback. Mendoza will. be joining us today in about 20 minutes. or so. Joining us right now, ladies and. gentlemen, is the voice of college. football, the face of Thursday Night. Football on Prime alongside Al Michaels. Ladies and gentlemen, a man who almost. predicted a football game exactly this. past weekend at Oregon and Iowa. Kirk.
>> Kerby, [applause]. >> how you doing, Herby? We're talking. about the Jets there a little bit with. Justin Fields. Obviously, they move on. from Quinnon and Sauce and everybody. starting to think they're quitting and. mailing it in. they get a huge win with. special teams and defense and obviously. Bree Hall able to do his thing. What are. your thoughts on the Jets moves and. Justin Fields as a quarterback and uh. also Dball fired as the New York Giants. head coach earlier today just kind of. New York state of mind from Kirk. Herbstreet if you will.
>> Well, I I think first of all anytime you. need a pickme up, you go into that AFC. North, you get the Bengals Browns back. to back, you got a really good shot of. kind of getting your swagger back. So. wait, you you can thank me later uh for. that. I mean, how the Bengals lost that. game to the Jets two weeks ago is is um. I think everybody's still scratching. their head, but to their credit, they. use that special teams. Sometimes you. just got to find ways to win games and. and that's what they were able to do. I. heard you guys kind of kind of having. some fun with the fact that Bree Hall.
took that screen and took it to the. house. Um, it was not a great day for. the offense, but totality, it's a team. that I think is dying to get some wins. and especially after the trade deadline. So many rumors about Brie Saul. You. mentioned McDonald and now they have. what they have and it's go time and I. just love to see a team still fighting, right? I mean, they're still scratching. They're still trying to find ways to win. games. Uh, Bree Hall, Bree Hall gives. them, I think, a playmaker, a dynamic. playmaker. But the reality is with.
Justin Fields and his offense, I mean, how about the owner comes out three or. four weeks ago and just says, "If we can. just complete a pass, if we can just. complete a pass, that would really help. the cause." And for him to have to block. that out in the middle of the year and. still go out and wear that uniform and. that jersey and still go out and. compete. Um, he he's handled that with. great class. >> I'll tell you what, HE SAID, "I'M NOT. GOING TO COM I'M NOT GOING TO COMPLETE A. PASS, ACTUALLY." NO. >> How about that? How about [laughter] No, I'm joking. I'm joking. I'm joking. I'm. joking. But the owner saying it is.
crazy. The owner saying it is absolutely. crazy. And mentally, the mental. toughness, which I think we all like. about Justin Fields. We like his. leadership. We like his mental. toughness. I love how committed he is to. his body, how committed he is to the. sport. I just think on the field, it. really hasn't worked out. What's your. stat? The point of all this uh teams uh. coming into this since 1950 when holding. opponents to 175 yards or less and not. turning the ball over were 225 and zero. is now 225 and one for. >> shout out to the Bronx. [applause]. >> Shout out to the Bronx. And then let's.
talk about dayball over there in New. York. Obviously they have the. quarterback carousel this off seasonason. where they're trying to find out who is. going to be the guy that's going to be. taking snaps from them after they move. on from Danny Dimes. Danny Dimes is now. an MVP. [laughter] Looks like Wilson. right now having improvement. Danny. Dimes is obviously in the MVP. conversation alongside Jonathan Taylor. We're going to Super Bowl that uh Saquon. Barkley won a Super Bowl with. Philadelphia Eagles. Everybody leaves. that place and has great success. Now.
Dayball is the next one kind of getting. booted. What is this an indicator of in. your eyes? And uh what are your thoughts. on the state of the uh Giants right now? Well, I mean, you went through that and. I think a lot of people thought when. they let go of Saquon and they didn't. come up with with answers that following. year that Deball would would maybe be. let go, they stuck with him and, you. know, he he made it pretty clear. We. actually had Patriots Giants preseason. and Dal made it very clear to me that. Jackson Dart is going to be special. You. know, he said, "I I I got Russ right.
now, but man, I really love this rookie. and what he can do." And obviously. eventually we saw him get that. opportunity. This is another franchise. that just figures out ways to lose. games, you know, like they they just. don't know how yet how to win football. games and play complimentary football. They play well enough. You go back and. look at, I don't know, four or five of. their losses. They played well enough to. win these games and they just can't. can't close them out. And I I think that. whoever inherits this job is going to.
inherit a a team that has a lot of. potential. I mean, when you put Scataboo. and Malik Neighbors and Jackson Dart all. together, all healthy, um, there's a. lot, I think, to work with, not to. mention what they have on that defensive. front. So, whoever's going to get this. job down the road there, it's not like. you're starting from square one and how. do we get this thing going in the right. direction? I think the vision of what. they had there is is there. I think you. can see it. I just think that this team. at times seems to almost be jinxed. they.
just cannot close out games and games. that they've played well enough to win. that they're sitting there scratching. their head thinking how the hell do we. get ourselves in this predicament. So I. think it's I I love Dave. Dave's a great. guy. He he'll land on his feet. somewhere. But whoever gets this job to. me is going to have a hell of a nucleus. to work with moving forward. >> Yeah, I love we all love Scataboo. Obviously Jackson Dart needs to take. care of himself going forward. We hope. he's able to do that. And obviously the. New York market is a beautiful one if. you're able to win. Will anybody ever.
again is kind of the question. Bruce, we. haven't really got your thoughts on. DayBull exit in town. New York Giants. fan Bruce Bryan. >> there there had to be accountability. Uh. Brian Dable's 2040 and one record is the. worst of any coach in Giants history. Shout out to Hembo. You know, this was. the. >> Madoo. >> Yeah, >> that's worse than Makadoo. >> Worse than Shurmer. >> Madoo. That's a good. >> Madoo was good before he got that. haircut. When he had the bad haircut, he. was a good coach. You know, he's a. Western Pennsylvania guy, too. So, I.
didn't love everything he was doing with. his hair and all that stuff. And the way. you guys in New York were talking about. him, I didn't necessarily love because. how similar our names were and how we. grew up in the same waters and. everything like that. But I thought he. would have definitely been the worst. But no, that's not the case. I guess. Hembo says, "Geez Louise.". >> Part of it is, you know, 2022 he won. coach of the year and we won a playoff. game and that kind of extended his leash. to get to the 61 games to be able to. lose lose 40 of them. Um, I mean, it it. sucks. I agree. I think Brian Dball is. probably a a good football coach. You.
know, coached under Nick Sabin and Bill. Bich and um you know, seems like he's a. pretty good football mind, but losing is. a disease that infected the Giants. organization and um you know, kind of. reared its head worse this year than. ever before where you're blowing uh. three 10-point leads on on the road. Um. but, you know, it's also not on all on. Brian Dable. like Joe Shane built the. secondary that has uh turned into the. the worst in the NFL this year. Um. missed on a ton of draft picks both on.
on defense and and in the trenches with. the O line. Um so I hopefully there's. more accountability. Shane Bowen. probably um doesn't deserve. [clears throat] to be defensive. coordinator. And I don't know if Joe. Shane deserves to be a GM looking for a. head coach. >> Sh Giants fans certainly going through. it. Second half losses especially. whenever you have the lead just just. take it just take everything out of you. Okay, let's pivot away from the bad news. in New York and let's go to some good. news maybe in Cincinnati, your hometown. Uh Joe Burrow's back at practice. >> Wow. >> Wow. Great news.
>> That's breaking news as of today. Your. thoughts on that as a Bengals fan? I. know you just buried them with saying, "Hey, you want to get on track? You want. to get a little good aura? Go to Ohio. Take on the Bengals and the Browns.". Well, now Joey Back on the practice. field. What does this mean for you, Herb. Street? I really wondered all along with. this injury if the Bengals stayed within. striking distance, which is debatable. What does that mean? Um would he come. back? Would he sit out the rest of the. year to try to get 100% healthy or I.
mean that you you guys know about Turfto. and he had the most severe case of that. with the surgery. You just wonder is is. he It's great to see him back on the. practice field. Um is he coming back and. easing his way back in? Is this you know. another three or four weeks away? I have. no idea. I have no idea what the case. is, but I just love to see this guy's as. as competitive as anybody you're ever. going to meet. And I'm sure he's dying. to get back on the field with his guys. But I wondered, I mean, that division is. is is been upside down all year with the. injuries. Clearly still appears to be.
the Ravens division to win. Sorry about. that, Tone. I'll give it. >> um but I it I'd love to see him back, but I don't know if I'd be in a hurry if. I were him with with the offensive line. play. >> At what cost? Now granted, they spent. money on everything. Uh, and he's a. massive piece of that offensively. Are. they constructed to win ever? And do we. just have them not risk it next year, too, when they start the season? You. know, just. >> I think that's fair. >> Maybe maybe forever if we don't get them. protected. I think. >> until until you until you invest in an.
offensive line. They've tried. >> and that that's been the case since he. and they have tried but. the the the guys that they've tried with. um they've hit a couple but. >> it's tough. >> Bengals fan right here just going. through it in real time like they've. tried to bring in new offensive linemen. they've tried Herby THEY'VE TRIED YEAH. THEY CERTAINLY have and guess what. hasn't worked Joe Burrow he's back for. back to practice it's. >> well ask AJ I mean Teddy Carris was a. hit at center. >> I love Teddy. >> that free agent Yeah,
>> got it. >> Eddie Carris was a hit, but that's one. hit and a lot of misses [laughter]. >> up front. >> Has Flaco been getting beat up? >> Whiter, right? >> It's impossible. >> Yeah, then they let him go. I think that. went out bad. His if you listen to the. end of that even though, hey, he was. ruler of the jungle the other night. >> That's right. >> And they did win the night he was ruler. of the jungle. Good to see Big Whit back. in Cincinnati. Hopefully they're in. good. >> Blakey Whit would start if he came back. He would be a starter. >> on a lot of teams. Maybe tight end. >> on a lot of teams, but definitely in C.
>> Well, he's a tight end now. Maybe he's. like 245, 250. >> I think maybe quarterback. I don't know. if he has with Joe Burrow's time. We. have some scoopage though here from. Jason Glazer. >> YEAH, SCOOPAGE. UH, LAST WEEK JOE BURROW. TOLD me he's returning way sooner than. expected and gave me the timeline of by. Thanksgiving. Now, we'll start. practicing on a limited basis. Absolutely unreal attack of rehab, which. he did with me and response. At first, medical people didn't believe he'd be. back before playoffs. Huge.
jump for him. He's a [ __ ] G. >> Shout out to Jake Glazer getting a. little scoopage there, Herby. Obviously, that's real time baseball we're doing. >> Hey, we had a bandwidth that I was going. to text. We had the the term bandwidth. from from Tai could have used that with. Pete this morning on when he was. talking. Soon as he said, well, my. bandwidth, I was like, God, I got to hit. Pat got. [laughter]. Hey, if you would have seen the. conversations I was having this morning, brother, I mean, tomorrow's show is. about to be pretty legendary. >> Oh, you guys are going to Paris Island.
tomorrow, right? >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> Oh my god. >> Hey, it's about to be something. Not as. Hey, listen. I don't know if we fully. recognize how massive tomorrow is until. we're there. Cuz I've had a chance to be. there. When you're there, it's just. like, you know, you're walking on like. hallowed ground. Like, you understand. what's going on. And then it being. Veterans Day and the people that are. going to be coming, you know, a lot of. appearances on the show tomorrow pretty. big names and obviously you had this. planned out long time a you know wasn't. calling everybody this morning to try. to, you know, hey uh I think I think we.
got an incredible opportunity here. We'd. love if you'd be able to help and uh. tomorrow will be absolutely crazy as we. say thanks to the veterans live from uh. Paris Island. All right, Herby, let's. talk about what we need to talk. >> You should ride in on the on the bus the. way you know what I mean. You can you do. that? Yeah, >> get yelled at right there when you step. on the scap. >> to the yellow footprints there right at. the beginning. We'll do we'll do we'll. do a special on this entire we we will. definitely inform people what it's like. 38 I don't know if.
>> I ain't signing up to play Marine. >> Well, I don't think you should. >> That's what I'm saying. We didn't sign that line. >> And that's why we're going to pay say. thank you. We're going to say thank you. to those who did. But on that note, I. have done the uh Right. >> I've done it. I've actually done it uh. this past summer. Yeah. I don't know if I would have been. the one, man. 18. Yeah, right. I I don't. You got some bad. >> Gumpy would have done it. >> What's this? >> Um. >> Gunk would have done that.
>> Canadian equivalent. >> Yeah, I don't know. >> I thought it was a Canadian Marine. I. thought it was Canadian Navy Seal. >> I don't know if they have Canadian. Marines. >> They have the mountains. >> I don't think they have Marines. I mean, we need to make sure we have some. respect here for what the Marines are. Happy birthday to them, by the way. URA. UAR happy. All right, let's talk a. little bit about what you did this past. weekend. You know, on our show last. Thursday, uh you did something. You you. just you called a sneaky win out. publicly. Therefore, if you make a. spotlight moment of something sneaky. Guess what isn't sneaking anymore? The.
sneaky thing. So, you awoke a potential. giant in a massive way whenever you said. Iowa gonna beat Oregon this weekend. Oregon heard it immediately upon you. saying it. They ran it. Not only then to. the team, the entire weekend they were. running. Hey, everybody thinks we're not. going to show up. Everybody thinks we're. not going to show up. Then we get the. game day down. Texas Tech Love. What a. crowd. What a place. What a time. >> Unbelievable. >> Unbelievable. We get to. >> I'm a huge fan. >> Yeah, me too. I think I'm happy that. they're going to be good for the long. haul because I think every time we go.
there in the future, >> we need to go there every year. >> Bingo. I think it's going to be awesome. every single year down there. They took. care of it. That food, Evie Maze. Best. food we've got. >> Unbelievable. [laughter]. >> Everything about it was awesome. The. set, the crowd, the food, the vi. everything. >> Nicest night. If you're looking for the. nicest human beings, we found them in. West Texas here as an entire group. They. were amazing. >> The tortilla tosses to her. I mean, it's. all awesome. That guy catches it. >> I think he's strength coach at uh I. think he's one of the strength. I don't.
know what sport, but I think he's a. strength coach, I think, from what I'm. learning. Legend. But we finally get to. the picks. Patrick Mahomes is there, obviously. Massive fan. Thank you to him. for coming through and also giving back. to the sport as much as he does down. there at Texas Tech along with Cody. Campbell and the Double Eagle boys up. there. Everything they're doing there is. spectacular. >> First class. >> But we got to the Iowa Oregon game and. uh I didn't know what you were going to. do. I I honestly I looked over and I had. no idea what you were going to do. Are. you going to just say, you know what, I. ruined this. I'm sorry, Iowa. It got too.
loud. I'm going with Oregon. You doubled. down. You You said. >> double down. >> You said I'm doubling down. I think Iowa. wins this game. This is a game that. Oregon is gonna. >> and I gave you the specific. It's the. November dark, rainy. >> You don't know what's going on. The team. that's there has no idea what hit them. Kinnick gets over top of them. 1615. One. of those ugly Iowa scores. You have no. idea how we got to 1615, but that's. where we're going to be. That's the. final score. That's how Iowa's going to.
win. >> So, you were calling a game while this. was happening and I was texting you. I'm. like, yo, it's two nothing right now in. this game. You say you don't. >> That was perfect. Two nothing. We're off. to A GREAT START. >> YOU'RE LIKE, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW WE'RE. GONNA GET TO THIS SCORE. LIKE two. nothing being the start of that thing is. like hilarious. It's like, "Hey, Herby, two nothing right now." And then you're. calling another game. All of a sudden, it gets to the point. It's like, "Hey, Herby, everything you have said is. coming to fruition RIGHT NOW.". LEGITIMATELY, >> HOW ABOUT THIS QUARTERBACK DRAW? And I'm. like, "Oh my god, they're going to go. for two if they score this and they're.
going to miss it and it's going to be. 1615.". I was like, touchdown. Now we got to. miss the two-pointer. Miss the. two-pointer is all we need. >> YEAH. WELL, I WANT to let you know just. you've been around college ball for a. long time, okay? But I don't think. you're supposed to just know exactly how. a game is supposed to end. And honestly, you even knew it when you were saying it. that you might be saying everything how. this game is going to end, but it's. going to go the other WAY BECAUSE OF HOW.
>> WHAT A BALL BY DANTE MO. >> What a ball by Dante Mo right there. But. it went the other way strictly because. of what you did on Thursday. STRICTLY. >> ARE YOU GIVING ME YES. ARE YOU'RE GIVING. THIS TO ME? >> NO, I'M NOT GIVING IT to you. I'm saying. it's 100% your fault. You need to be. taking this. >> THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING. YOU'RE GIVING ME. THE BLAME. I laid out the I gave the. blueprint. I gave the whole thing. >> Yeah. Your fault. >> It just the last minute, last second. field goal. I I can't account for that. >> Ty, how do the Ians feel about what Herb. Street did? first on Thursday saying,
"Hey, Dan Lang, >> dude, if it would have been 40-6, I would have eaten it. I would have said. that's 100% on me.". >> Okay. >> But it's 16 to freaking 50. [laughter]. >> IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID. >> YEAH. GO AHEAD, TODD. LET'S HEAR FROM. IOWA, PLEASE. LET'S HEAR from Iowa, please. >> I I would imagine that a lot of people. in the state are still pretty pissed at. Herby [laughter] because after Wait, hey, just hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. After Thursday, because it was.
kind of it was pretty quiet. I think a. lot of Iowa fans going in were very very. confident coming off the by-week and how. they looked against Minnesota and it's. like, okay, we're kind of starting to. get things going here. I think we might. actually beat Oregon. Then you say it. and it kind of magnifies thing, but. that's whatever. But I I told Pat, I. would have hated you for the rest of my. life if you would have picked Oregon on. Saturday. It would have been the most. chicken [ __ ] thing of all time. And when. you. >> Yeah, I didn't I didn't hesitate. I was.
not giving up. >> So, you you picked the Hawks and and you. know what? Yeah. Unfortunately, it just. it just didn't go their way. A couple I. mean, Kaden Wein fumbles in the red. zone. You know, like Iowa realistically. probably should have won that game by a. touchdown. Just, you know, the safety. I. mean, they couldn't they couldn't punt. early in the game, which is obviously. very atypical for Iowa. So, it was just, you know, I mean, hey, hats off to you, Herby. I think Iowa fans knew too that. your uh your prediction for the game was. pretty spot-on and it was going to have.
to be like that if they were going to. win. >> HERBY KNOWS BALL. SAW A LOT OF PEOPLE. SAYING HERBY KNOWS BALL. Maybe a little. too. >> I just I just I think we all expected it. to be I was being a smartass when I said. 1615 cuz Iowa games they always get into. that that when they pull off these. upsets. It's just how did we get to this. number? And [laughter] and so I just. threw out a 1615 and damn it if we. didn't if we weren't sitting on 1615. there at the end. And I I I I would have. officially retired if Oregon would not. have come back and I would have been.
like I'm done. 1615 Iowa knocks off. >> You should at least taken a victory lap. on Saturday. You know, you should have. at least done and then done. >> Yeah. Show the highlight, please. What I. say? What I say? What I say? What I say? What I say? >> Hey, what happened in the game? What. happened in the game? Thank you. My. name's Kirk Street. It's been a blast. Come on. >> 30 [laughter] years. >> Pittsburgh would have went crazy for you. for YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS. CANNOT WAIT. >> BY THE WAY, HOW ABOUT GAME day going to. Pittsburgh. >> Come on. Come on. Not bad. >> We didn't make it to Morgan Towns, but.
we're going to make it to Pittsburgh. >> I saw some WVU people coming after me. obviously for this tweet. Oh, you're. good at this, but you won't go to. Backyard B. We lost to Ohio the week. before, right? >> Okay. >> We lost Ohio. >> You can't lose in Athens. >> It's a good football team. >> Good football team. >> You can't lose in Athens, Ohio. and and. and host game day the next week. >> Now, on that note, Pittsburgh has not. had um a Saturday college game day, like. a full college game day in. >> it was when was it? >> 20 years, I think, is what they said.
>> Yeah. Yeah, I remember. We were along by. right by the river outside of the. stadium. >> I think we're doing the same spot. I. think it's uh same area. I think River. Shot, I think. Is it or no? >> I don't know. I don't know. Isn't there. a big park over there on the other side. of the river? in their big famous park. over there. >> Boyce Park. Isn't that Boyce Park where. you play? >> Boy Park's in Plumbar where the ballers. ball and the players play. It's not. downtown. We're in the north shore right. here. I think from what I saw, we might. be along a river. I think I don't know. >> Do you know there's a full astroturf. field outside of the stadium now because.
of the draft, I believe. So, you might. be able to use that for the uh content. >> We think the Pittsburgh kid makes the. kick or not. >> You should probably should stop doing. it. >> I I I every week they make it. >> John was. >> some booby traps out there. We needed. John. Well, Kirk tried to bring out some. blockers, but we had high school kids. holding it 5T in front of these guys. >> This guy. >> deflate the ball. >> What a catch. Second one. >> I'll tell you what, Pat, you teach me. this, but anytime I see a guy slip off. his sneakers and go barefoot, this guy knows what he's doing.
>> See, I don't I don't fully understand it. actually. And I think it's more because. the plant foot will slip maybe some of. these because it's like turf, but I. don't know why you wouldn't think that a. sock would slip, too. I don't fully. comprehend it. I I don't know. >> Vandy was the first time it happened. where I was like, "Okay, this is. possible." Uh, if someone takes off. their shoes, I shouldn't immediately. think they're the stupidest person of. all time for just kicking the ball. without a shoe on. >> This guy had like a Hoka looking shoe. on, a little big base on the bottom of. it. The story. Hey, we're learning that. in real time though, Herby. I don't.
think people fully understand that. We're learning in real time that this. guy missed a kick his junior year of. high school. >> HOW ABOUT THAT? >> YEAH. Like in real time. I'm like, "Oh. my god, what a nightmare." that state. Yes, >> that's like. >> what a nightmare for that kid. >> Death threats. He got death threats. >> He needed to make that first one, bro. That first one, him missing that first. I'm like, golly, got to do another one. Got to for this guy's going to think. about this for the rest of his life. >> The rest of his life, rest of his life. >> He's going to get dunked on even more. because now they know about the high. school. So, so only the people at his. high school knew. Now, everybody knows.
about that. And also, this guy, >> this guy sucks. Can't do it. So, he. would. >> Yeah. How about the guy junior year. misses the kick in the state. championship. >> Senior year, you're done. You can kick. off. What do you say? Kick off an onside. kick or something like that. >> Yeah. Yeah. He was a weapon there. He. got the ball back a couple times from my. stats and understanding. But then the. second one, if you hear me, I go, "Yo, kick through the ball." It was clear. what he did. It was probably the exact. same thing that happened in his extra.
point his junior year. Saw his quads. tighten up. Literally, as I'm watching. him, I see his body tighten up. I'm. like, "Oh, no. Not good." and he kind of. punches through. Thing goes to the left. So, I literally was trying my best to be. like, "Yo, swing through the ball, bro. Let's go." A lot of people were saying. it was windy conditions out there. It. wasn't. >> little right to left. Little right to. left there. >> But the tortillas that were throwing, I. think everybody thought like the wind. was taking those tortillas. No, those. people were. They were trying to hit. that ball. >> THEY WERE TRYING TO HIT THAT BALL WITH. THOSE TORTILLAS. I MEAN, that was the. bigger obstacle was the tortillas.
Imagine if a tortilla hits that ball. >> That's going in. John misses again. Oh. no. What a moment. I'm. >> Oh, look at that. >> Yeah, I'm happy for John, though. John, way to go, buddy. Proud of you, John. Proud of you, John. I think the. Pittsburgh kid makes it. Okay, let's get. back to some college ball talk, shall. we? Go ahead, Dud. >> Yeah, Herby, obviously, we know how. dialed in you are to both uh games, college football and pro football. So, you're the perfect person to ask. Who's. QB1 right now in [laughter] the NFL. draft going into next year? I know it. was a lot of names we expected coming.
into this season to be at the top of. this board right here, but obviously. it's Mendoza and Tai Simpson, probably. Dante Moore, two of the draft eligible. quarterbacks. Who's QB1 right now in. your opinion? >> Um, I don't know if he's draft eligible. I I. think that I think Julian Saiyan and I. think CJ Carr at Notre Dame. >> Um, >> okay. Neither of those guys can get. drafted. This is just like when you're. like, "Hey, the guys that a lot of money.
need to shut up, >> dude. the guys that we had up on the. board have all struggled, >> you know, like they they just think of. all the names at the beginning of the. year and none of those guys are are. still being talked about, you know. Um. I I I really think I you the Lenor Sers, remember him beginning of the year? >> Oh, yeah. >> Everybody thought he was going to be the. first pick overall.
>> Yeah. >> Uh the Mendoza kid's been amazing. I. mean, what he's doing at Indiana is. incredible. How about the drive? Everybody's talking about that catch. How about the drive itself? He got. sacked on the first play of that drive. >> Oh, yeah. >> And brought them back uh you know, to be. able to eventually get in position to. win that game. That throw right there. down the seam. Incredible. That kind of. reset them and and got them believing. But we're so focused on the on the catch. and we should be. That was the best. catch maybe we've ever seen. I mean, we. look at the footwork,
>> but look at these three throws that he. made to get him down inside there. >> just and he does it every single week. Um, so. >> filthy. >> I don't know. Did anybody expect Mendoza. to be this guy coming over from Cal? >> No. >> Into Indiana? >> No. So, Kid Kid Canada's little brother. obviously last year, Ror with Indiana. was the storyline because it's like, will Signetti be able to find another. ROR? I doubt it. and then bring in the. kid from cow and it's like wait a minute. kid from cow had a lot of success last. year. Kid from cow has actually had some. big games. So I don't think anybody was.
expecting magic but I think there wasn't. as big of a falloff for Indiana from. Indiana fans thoughts after Roric leaves. but nobody could have expected him to be. the best player in college football or. whatever the case is. And then Omar Omar. Cooper Jr. This is an Indiana. He's from. around here. This kid's from around. here. So we're obviously incredibly. happy for him. >> Same catch. And also the ref in real. time watching [laughter] that ref. >> Look at that ref's form. >> THAT'S INCREDIBLE. LEGIT. >> LOOK AT THAT. And we're looking at in. super slow. Look at him. HE'S GOT TO GET.
OUT of the way. >> And then he's Look at his head. I mean, he is staring down at that. And he makes. the right call. We always rip on the. officials. Give this guy some credit. He. is right in position. >> to be able to make that call. And And. we're seeing it now. We're seeing a. little faster. Here you go. Look at. that. just just just outstanding. But I. guess to answer your question, Debo, I. would say Tai Simpson, he's not sexy. He's not going to go to the combine. He's not going to go, "Look at this guy. Oh my." But he seems to be a guy that.
has an ability to read, recognize. coverage, process ball out. Um, he can. move around just enough to be able to be. dangerous, to be able to keep plays. alive. But we don't have that huge 6'4. 240 pound guy that everybody's gonna. say, "Wow, I can't wait to to watch what. this." Now, these guys are probably. they're going to go and people are going. to be enamored like they were with. Anthony Richardson and others, you know, when they see these guys that are big. and strong and can spin it. Um, but as.
far as seeing the field, processing, what are [laughter] we doing? Processing. >> That's a good question. That is a good. question. What are we doing? Okay. There's no reason to do what you just. did [laughter] right there. None. Okay. There's none. None on that note. Now, to. echo your point though, >> what are you talking about? >> I love Ty Simpson. >> Yeah. >> Great. >> I I like his love. >> Did you see him tap up former teammates, too? Boys love him. >> Oh my god. You see how the boys reacted. when they saw him? >> Yes. Love him. They They love that guy. in the locker room. Mendoza, though. Very similar. I think they view him as a.
nerd who's an absolute dog. I I think. that is kind of it. So, I think they. will be head and shoulders. I think. whenever you start thinking about, you. know, off the- field stuff in the locker. room and in film and everything like. that, I think they are going to rise to. the top. But to your point, we had no. idea that those guys were going to be. guys. Another guy that I don't think a. lot of people maybe knew if he was going. to be a guy, especially after his first. season. Now he's leading the MVP odds. Go ahead, AJ. >> Yeah, Kirk, obviously Pat's talking. about Drake May and what the New England. Patriots are able to do. They beat the. Bucks yesterday. They're 8-2. I guess.
are you surprised at how quickly Drake. May has evolved into an elite. quarterback? I mean, MVP odds, you see. him right here. And are you surprised at. all at how fast, I guess, Braves has. been able to instill that culture and. turn him into a a very uh, you know, viable team to to make a run at the. Super Bowl? Well, obviously AJ, you know. him Braves and we all love him and and. think so highly of him as you know what. was initially as an assistant, a. coordinator and then he goes to the to. the Titans and and has him on the on the. brink of getting into a Super Bowl and.
and then last last few years he's in. Cleveland just like you know just kind. of buying his time and hanging out and. eventually you knew he'd get back in the. mix. I don't think, Connor, even you, as. much as you're a diehard, blinded New. England Patriots fan, I don't think. anybody expected the culture to change. this quickly. I I nobody could have. expected this. Um, it's easy to say, "Yeah, oh yeah, I saw it all along." I. mean, Drake May, if you saw him in. college, he's another college. quarterback that's outstanding, but we. see a lot of college quarterbacks that. are outstanding that that just don't see.
the the field in the NFL and don't make. these many plays uh this early in their. career. So, I think Josh McDaniels. deserves a ton of credit for the system. that he's been able to build, uh, the. way they've been able to build this. team, this team from the ground up as. far as confidence. They didn't try to do. too much uh, too fast. I had him, again, I mentioned that the game with Dable, they played the Patriots. I had a a. chance to visit with with Josh uh, in. late August when they were getting ready. to go into the season, and he was. incredibly confident with what Drake May.
was doing, the communication, the. understanding. You can see the. relationship that they build. This Drake. May has a super super unassuming team. guy first. Doesn't want any of the. accolades. Will deflect all the. attention onto his team. So, he's got. the wiring that it takes. But to see. this guy execute, what is he at 19 and. five, I think, right now in the year. 19. touchdowns, only five picks. So, he's. he's playing smart. But, I think it's. more of the totality of what the. Patriots have become with Mike Vrabel.
And it's it's not just, "Wow, look at. the schedule. It's been favorable." No, I mean, it's it's a mix of veterans with. rookies with a quarterback that's that's. making great decisions and and here they. are sitting at the top. >> Couple more things just to kind of add. to your point about this Patriots team. So many different moments throughout. that game yesterday as we're watching. where Vrael is coaching in between plays. to guys that are on the field. Like. there was a time I think it was 516. left. Drake May, they're up five. uh. rolls to the right, throws the ball out.
of bounds, runner down in the red zone. And you knew that Drake May probably. immediately was like, "Ah, there's no. reason for me to throw that out of. bounds and stop the clock right here. We. could keep this thing alive." It starts. getting like frustrated with himself. Literally, they shoot over to Vesp. Vabes is talking to him like, "Yo, yo, yo, yo, we're good." Then there was a. report up the sidelines like, "Hey, Veab. was over telling the defense, hey, nothing else matters except for right. now. It's like he's hands-on with every. single play." And then Tayvon Henderson, obviously we see the moment where he. breaks free and he looks over to the. sideline like. >> should I go down or should I score? And. they're probably all like, "Yo, go ahead.
and score that thing, dude. Score that. thing." So like. >> he's afraid. >> When you talk about buyin, yeah, when. you talk about buyin, I think the. perfect depiction of it is Stfan Diggs. on the hands team. Stefan Digs on the. hands team. Okay. And everybody's. talking about, "Yeah, he should do. this." It's like, yeah, right, dude. Knowing that he's going to get blasted. in the face right there. That is the. only outcome that Stefan Diggs is going. to have right there. Worst ball. >> And they're like, hey, he needs to do. what? This is what number one wide. receivers always do. It's like, no, they. don't. Number one wide receivers are not. being sent out there to potentially get.
shot right in the jaw or right into the. chest. Go ahead. >> By the way, look at how they're schooled. there. Everybody goes in to make a. block. The whole thing instead of like. five guys going up to to grab the ball, you got a very very well schooled. These. guys are trying to make blocks. We know. that that eight's going to go ahead and. make he's got the ball. We know he's. going to catch it and everybody doing. the best they can to try to avoid what. what ended up happening because they. just had a couple too many. They. couldn't block them all and he still is. able to hold on to it. I think you bring.
up a good point. I think he has a very. hungry team whether it's the blend of. rookies and younger players with some. bets but they all are listening to. Varel. So Vable's over there coaching in. between series and instead of them being. like get out of here with that they're. just like what? Yeah. They're they're. dialed in listening to what he's saying. So, and it helps winning, right? I mean, it's it's easy to become that guy when. you're winning. And, you know, right. now, he's got a team that's all in. >> Yeah, I think all in. Stefan Dick said. earlier in the year, I can't believe he. got me to buy in. And it's like it's a.
verbal effect that he has seemingly in. every building that he has. I mean, it. was happening in at the American Century. Classic whenever he walked into the. tent. He walks in, everybody's just. like, "What the hell is this species?". [laughter] He's doing that. He's a great. leader. He's an alpha in every sense of. the form, but it seems like his empathy. for these young guys, like not to beat. yourself up too much, is what's. showcasing the most. The Patriots are a. problem. Drake Mays the odds on favorite. for the MVP. And the Colts are going to. win the SUPER BOWL. WE'LL BE BACK. TOMORROW LIVE FROM PARIS ISLAND. GOODBYE.
>> All right, that was a pretty good send. off. >> Hell yeah. Not bad. That was great. >> We're still live. We're still live, Herby. You know, we're still live. We're. still live. We're still live. uh just. someone that won't get enough love and. I'm actually hopefully he doesn't just. so he doesn't get any sort of. opportunities outside of being the. offensive line coach for the Patriots. Doug Marone came in in their left side. of the line. Will Campbell and Jared. Wilson, both rookies, Jared Wilson, uh I. believe played center at Georgia last. year. I think he was our third round. pick. Will Campbell obviously number. four overall. >> That that toss left to end the game, the.
Trevon touchdown. I mean, that's right. behind Will Campbell. And we got a. defensive lineman, Tonga, playing. fullback who played eight snaps at. fullback, actually. >> And look at that block. Three guys, >> the the amount of guys on the ground. And there goes Vea. But the other run. that that was a 55 yd touchdown. That. was uh Jared Wilson basically one-on-one. rookie on Vea. So, it's one of those. things where I don't know what's in the. water or what, you know, Doug Marone is. feeding the offensive line, but they're. playing their [ __ ] ass off and like.
that's why you get chills just thinking. about how good these young dudes are. still. So, and on that note, still so I. mean Christian Gonzalez is unbelievable. and he's starting to have his own little. island starting to happen there in this. entire season. But they're up and to the. right, but they're still so early. Like. they're still so much for Drake, for. Vable's culture. M I mean another. offseason drafting your guys free a I. mean there's just so much for these. Patriots fans to be. >> yeah BA always talks about you know. having the rookies ready if they're. ready by November by Thanksgiving you're.
in a good spot. Trayvon Henderson he. looks like he's coming along. Kyle. Williams he had a big time play and a. great sign of your team going in the. right direction. I I I hate this for. vets sometimes, but when VBel came in. and they moved on from Kyle Duggar, who. had a huge contract, and they moved on. from Peppers, who was a solidified vet, that let you know how these young guys. were playing, how they were building. You go and get Carlton Davis, who's. another number one corner. Christian. Gonzalez is unbelievable. And they came. into this game without allowing one. rusher that they faced to reach 50.
yards. Like, that's crazy at the halfway. point in the season. So, they are in. tandem right now on defense. And. obviously we know the offense is making. plays and they're explosive. >> All right, Herby, last question for the. NFL here from Green Bay Packers owner Ty. Schmidt. >> Yeah, Herby, how do you see this game. going tonight? Obviously, you had the. Packers uh your first week of the. regular season for uh Thursday Night. Football and they looked unbelievable. Looked like a different team then. And I. believe you had the Eagles when they got. beat by the Giants. They obviously look. a little bit different now as well. Uh.
what do you expect out of this one. tonight? >> Yeah, I you're right. I I when I had. Green Bay and as you all know it's it's. such a long grind of a season and and uh. you know guys get hurt and teams become. a little bit different. Um Eagles have. changed the their season around from. where they were. I mean I think. offensively they were really struggling. uh when we had them. They were just. starting to kind of find some things. find some answers. I think the Minnesota. game obviously changed the complexion. maybe of their season and then they. followed up with a big win over the.
Giants. So I think their offense is in a. much better place. I think they were. they were arguing with each other. They. they really couldn't find answers for uh. for Saquon in the running game. They. were just trying to find ways to get him. in space. And I think now you're. starting to see a little bit more. balance putting Jaylen in in more. favorable positions to be able to throw. the football. So that's a tough one, man. That that is a great game. It's in. Green Bay, right? Tonight. >> Yep. >> Great great matchup. And it'd be fun to. to watch Micah chase uh chase Jaylen.
around. And I think it'll be a this has. got that that fourth quarter last second. kind of feel. Who's going to get the. ball late? I don't know what the spread. is, but it feels like it's going to be a. tight tight game throughout the entire. game. And give Green Bay a nod cuz. they're playing at home at night. >> One and a half is the spread Green Bay. is favored by. And Sheffer came on. earlier and said this a tushbush game. Green Bay Packers wanted to ban the. tushbush. Michael Parson said it was a. stupid play. Philadelphia Eagles. serriani, they heard that. They heard.
[laughter] that. So, look for some tush. push. >> OH, WE LOVE THAT. >> YES. >> OH, WE LOVE THAT. >> YEAH. 28° and snow at Lambo on Monday. Night Football in November on the. Marines 250th birthday here November. 10th, 2025. This is perfect. This is the. football god saying, >> "Congratulations, we're halfway through. this.". >> Tonight, you get a chance to watch the. Super Bowl champs take on the. traditional historic powerhouses of the. NFL in a movieike setting. Yeah.
something that Steve Sable would draw up. to launch NFL films where the legends. would step foot on this same exact land. that is holding the snow tonight. That. could be this evening for the Packers. >> Yes, it could. >> Eagles could win by 50. >> Uh, no, I don't think so. >> Okay. >> 50. >> Okay. You knew what I was You knew what. [laughter] I was. >> You got You got You got Pack winning on. a last second field goal with me. >> Uh, the way Brandon McManus is kicking. right now. No, I don't.
>> [laughter]. >> I think it's either Packers win a close. one or yes, they get beat by like 17 or. something like that. >> Multiple scores. >> Yeah. >> No way. P. This is This is the go Packco. game. >> This is where they play to the level of. their opponents. They played like [ __ ]. against Carolina last week. They'll look. great this week and I don't know who. they they play probably the Saints next. week and they might get beat next. >> All right. Packers minus one and a half. Packers - one and a half. >> I'd go I'd go Packers 6 and 1/2. Jaylen. Herz in that weather. Give me a [ __ ]. break. >> Sounds like Herby's Packers minus one. and a half. There's a Philly.
>> Oh no, he's got no connection. He's. unstable. Uh. >> oh. >> Maybe it's a snow. >> Here I am. Yeah, here I am. Have. [laughter]. >> you got Packers minus one and a half? >> I got Packers. No question. Last second. They're going to win it late. Last. second field goal. >> AJ Packers minus one and a half. >> Absolutely. >> Okay. I'd like to let you know currently. AJ, you and I are sitting one pick away. from each other for the weekend. You're. 571. I'm 66 and one on the weekend. Okay. Obviously I flopped a little bit. You flopped a little bit on a few. It's. not easy at this stage of the game.
because ass teams aren't ass all the. time is what we're learning. Y and. obviously Colts win the game in Germany. I'm happy. Don't cover. >> Kick the field goal. What the hell? Can. we kick the extra point, please? >> Yeah. Can we start doing everything? Yeah. Yeah. We need be a little bit. closer. Uh so AJ, you're on the Packers. I'll give you a chance to tie this thing. up. I guess I'll take the Eagles. >> I guess I guess I'll take the Eagles. plus one. Debb, who you got? Um, you. know, last two team times these two. teams faced off and came out to the red. zone. Packers are two and seven in the. red zone and that's where they will lose.
this game. They are used to Michael. Parsons this uh offense. Um, >> oh my god. >> And I love Jaylen Herz. I don't care. what the weather is. You look at him. taking care of the ball. He's going to. do that. The trades Jaylen Phillips. Michael Carter came over now. So we may. see Coupe on the outside a little more. Give me the Eagles with an alternate. spread of minus 6 and a half. >> Okay. He likes a little bit more. He. said, "Let's put a little bit more meat. on their bone for these dogs in. Philadelphia." Sports book breakers are. giving some stats here. Now, we have not. double checked this, but it looks good.
Uh, Philadelphia is a small underdog. tonight as the Eagles travel to face the. Packers. The Eagles have been fantastic. when the line is tight. Eagles are 8-0. overall. 8-0 against the spread since. October 2024. Uh, with a spread betweeng. -3 to plus three. Philly has won these. games by 12.6 points per game. >> Uhoh. >> That means nothing to me. >> Yeah. Nothing to do. wins. >> Have they played the Packers all eight. of those games? Oh, no, they haven't. Okay, then who gives a. >> Oh, you're signetti. You know, Indiana's. never won here. This team's never played. here. >> Play here. >> Next question.
>> That was a great answer. >> Great answer. He always hasn't. >> Hey, what are you concerned with? Nothing. It's time [laughter] to attack. >> What are we talking about? Concerns for. Thursday, Wednesday. Now we attack and. play football. Thank you. Any more. questions? >> Legend. [laughter]. >> AQ Shipley facetiming me during that. game. THEY'RE FRAUDS. SICK NUTTY. SICK. NUTTY COMES OUT, RUNS HIS MOUTH before. the game. I was like, he was answering. questions that it's a minute before the. game starts. Like, what do you want from. the guy talking his [ __ ] can't even. beat this sorry pitch. >> Oh, AQ must have been wowed up.
>> So, I told him, I said, Mendoza is about. to do literally told him. I had a Kirk. Herbry moment. I go, you think Mendoza. is losing this game? Hang up on him. Literally mid-sentence. And then as Omar. Cooper Jr.'s is coming down with that. and Jack Dasher I believe is the ref's. name the back as he makes that call of a. touchdown I watching the game don't. think it could be at all but am taking. it as. >> as I am yes exactly Jack with a good. call I take that opportunity to call AQ. back he goes that was pretty good drive.
out of there out of Mendo [laughter] he. goes I'm like yeah Indiana is still. surprising people I think you know I. think Indiana is still surprising people. and then the number two team in the. country Big 10 has. >> not me I I'm I'm all playing. Now, >> Big 10 has power at the top. Big 10 has. some real power. I think they're very. confident in it as a whole, but as we. look at this college football, what a. catch. >> What a catch. Omar Cooper, >> DID THAT RIGHT TOE didn't tap in, too, did it? >> No, I do not think so. >> Hovered it. >> A lot of people say that it did. They. They say it good in the NFL. I think.
they're saying cuz his toe and then his. heel hit. Both of it. >> Watch this. Right. Watch this. Right. >> I thought it was. close to touching. Let's see. I don't. know if it it was definitely close like. right boys. I thought he covered his. right [laughter] foot because he knew it. was going to be out. >> I don't think it ever touched. >> But people were saying it would have. been good in the NFL. Is that because. left toe and then left heel. >> two different touches? Same foot though, right? >> Yeah. I think we all think two feet cuz. I said good on Sunday, too. >> But that was the Garrett Wilson. touchdown uh from last year in prime.
time that got called the touchdown. >> Was it his foot or was it. >> cuz I thought it was No, I thought it. was Oh, he had [ __ ] in that one. I do. wonder if the toe and the heel cuz I saw. everybody saying good on Sunday and I. was like I don't know cuz it looks like. to your point Herby I am in the camp. that I thought it hovered which was. incredible that it didn't touch out of. bounds but there I guess. >> I'm in the camp that it touched. >> his right when was it when he was. touching back [clears throat]. >> right before the left one. >> Okay so let's go let's run that thing. again. >> I thought he saw it.
>> You think it touched I think the right. one touch. >> right there. >> Where? >> Where? >> Let me run it back. >> No. Oh, can we zoom in on this at all? No, >> we cannot zoom in in this car. >> We need NBC it. >> Ah, >> yeah. I think he just missed it. >> I don't think he does. So, I thought it. was incredible body control to keep that. right foot up as. >> Oh my god. >> Did the Penn State defender keep his. right foot up or Yeah, right foot kicks. Yeah. Boom. >> Oh. >> Oh, no. >> So, that Yeah. So, I don't Yeah, it.
didn't touch. You're right. I'm out. >> If it get. >> Bro, that didn't that right foot never. touched. I saw a lot of people saying. good on Sunday. I'm like, "Oh, it must. be foot foot." But I I didn't even know. that. >> This is the first time I'm NBC it like. this. So, >> hey, it's right here, too. Pretty good. >> This is great. >> If that get gets called a touchdown in. the league, though, it might stand. >> Yeah, >> it might be tough to over. >> I don't know. I think it doesn't I think. it's clearly doesn't touch. >> I think the other thing if the heel. touched out of bounds, >> it's still a touchdown, right? Because. the toe.
>> in college or. >> in college if the toe touched. >> pro definitely. >> and then the heel would have been out of. bounds. I think it would have given him. the touch with his toe. >> Really? >> Yeah. That's exactly. >> All right, let's talk a little bit more. about college ball. Indiana we feel like. going to be in. >> even if they don't win the Big 10. >> Yeah. >> Feel like they have done enough that. people will say this is one of the 12. best teams in the country. Group of. >> they're in no matter what happens. >> I think so too. Group of five has to get. in. And then Tone has a question for you. about college ball, the sport we all.
love. >> Yeah, I do Herby. Obviously preseason in. the ACC it was going to be Clemson and. after week one and then for a few weeks. it was going to be Miami and then they. suffered a loss and it was going to be. Georgia Tech and then they lost and it. was going to be Virginia and then they. lost and then Louisville and then they. lost. So now we are here. >> Could be them. But does anyone want to. win the ACC first and foremost? And do. we even have to let an ACC team in? Are. we sure those are the rules? [laughter]. >> I guess those are the rules we got. We. >> you do you do have to let an ACC team.
>> Yeah. Listen, I hope the last two weeks. for the ACC last two weeks for the ACC, every team that's that's ranked and up. there has lost. >> They suck. >> So, you know, they're they're back. They're back to Pit. Pit becomes the. team everybody's going to want to talk. about. I mean, they they they have. everything in front of them. If you look. at the schedule, I mean, they they every. if they want to get in, it's right in. front of them. Notre Dame, Georgia Tech. on the road, and Miami. I mean, could it. set up any better for Pit? You know, if. you want to be the team that's gonna.
say, "Hey, we if nobody else wants to. go, we'll go to Charlotte. We'll we'll. make a run." I mean, they right now. Georgia Tech should be the the odds on. favorite, but I I I think Pit, they look. different with this this quarterback. plan for them. Um, we'll see. We'll see. if they can get by. Even if they lose to. Notre Dame, they're still theoretically. alive because they can they can get. within their own uh conference and get. to that conference championship game. Now on the flip side, Notre Dame. >> Hey, Duke is the second. >> Notre Dame can't lose. >> Yes. >> Yeah, because the controller. >> Who did I play last week?
>> Uh North Carolina. >> No, they [laughter]. lost, didn't they? >> Oh, I thought you Oh, last week. >> Yeah, this this Saturday. >> Yukon got a huge one. Somebody had him. as their Superdog. >> It was Herby because OF GUMP. >> YEAH. >> WOW. >> NICK NICK GAVE him some love, too. Co. gave him some love. >> Good for the Yukon. Hey, you took a. bigger lead in Superdog. That's what I. just heard. I I I'm going to give Gumpy. get a shot of Gumpy there in the control. room. Gump, thanks, buddy. You uh you. you steered me into that one. You you. you um I'm going to talk to you again on.
this Friday in the production meeting. So, get ready to come up with another. one. >> Thank you. >> I had Iowa. I was going to go Iowa and. then I thought about. >> uh Auburn and Vandy and then Gump said, "No, no, no, no, no, no. You got to go. got to go Yukon." I was like, "That's awesome." How about a little. faith in Yukon? >> Joe, how do you say his last name, Tone? Cuz it's one of those Italian last names. kind of. >> I don't want to be I don't want to be. wrong here. >> There's going to be a lot of Italian.
last names at this game. >> Okay. Well, he's 25 touchdowns, no. picks. Skyler Bell, he's top one or two. in all the wide receiver categories. They're doing some things up there in. stores. >> I'll tell you. with that winner over Louisville and. Louisville going for let's go get this. Nope. not going for a field goal. Touchdown. Let's go for it. >> And over that hit the over right there. The over was 49 and a half. >> Thank you, Song of Politelli. Uh thank. you overtime games to delivering four. overs. But this guy, I mean, I.
understand Cal's got a lot of money. We. love Cal. We got We love Cal. We love. Cal. Song Potelli's market is going to. be out [ __ ] rages this off. seasonason, Kirk. And uh I think. Pittsburgh's going to be on Saturday as. well. A lot of Irish people in. Pittsburgh, Kirk. A lot of Irish. Well, lot lot of Italian, a lot of Irish. >> Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. A lot of Italian. >> You grew up in ital. You grew up in an. Italian neighborhood, didn't you? >> Yeah. All all Few Pocks. >> All Italians. All Italians in my. neighborhood. And now on that note, the. Italians will be delivering I think this.
weekend. Graati to all the pyanos that. uh. >> what what's the best Italian restaurant. in Pittsburgh? >> So, there's a place called [laughter]. Just watch your mouth. Watch your mouth. Just from what I've experienced, >> uh, Saraphinos is a place that's. obviously being talked about in a big. way. Uh, Bill Carr's favorite spot is. Saraphinos. Nard Daisy's favorite spot. is Saraphinos. >> My favorite spot is. >> I got to go there. >> Jerusololis. It's down in Shady Sai. >> Okay. But what you're going to know, and. you know this, just go ahead and take a.
walk around and it'll be like, "Oh, here's an Italian joint there. What do. you guys do? Pizza sandwiches, pasta.". Got it. Okay. And then you're going to. walk a little bit further. Oh, what's. this? Okay. What? What? What happens in here? We got pizza, sandwiches, and pasta. Okay. Sick. That is so nice. And then. you're going to turn a corner. Boom. Guess who's going to be there? And it'll be the best that you ever It's. >> And then you'll see the Olive Garden and. walk right in. [laughter]. >> Don't. >> Oh, you can't press six. >> There's no There's no.
>> There's no Sorry. [laughter]. >> Not as good as Marian. >> Not as good as Marian. >> Don't be doing anything. >> We know that. Yeah. >> Marian's bills donuts. >> Marian of Bills. Right across the street. from each other. You. >> Kirk guys. >> Who? >> Yeah. >> Who? >> Tom. Kirk. Ohio. Kirk. Kirk's big on. that. >> Centerville, Ohio. That's the home of. Rob Derdeck, I do believe, right? Or. Circleville. >> Ketaring. Yeah, he's Kettering. >> Robin Big. >> Yeah.
>> Wow. >> Ketaring. Yeah. >> Kettering, Ohio. Right next to. Centerville. the home of a bar that I. had frequented because my uh holder in. college uh is from Centerville, Ohio. He's a proud Elk alumni as we are here. with a couple proud Centerville Elks. here. >> I didn't know that. You're a holder? >> Oh, yeah. Jeremy Cash, legend. Legend. He's still in Centerville right now. I. think he's still doing it. And I think. he's I think he will be doing it till. the day he dies. >> The bar near the school with like the. low roof. That bar? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. It was a good bar.
>> Awesome bar. Yeah. >> Good bar. Good bar. Good bar. Let. scratch off, pull tabs, you know, darts, maybe karaoke, >> maybe smoking sinks. >> Great bread. Anything you could ask for. >> Lot of booze. It was right there. Right. there next to Circleville or uh. Ketaring. Right there next to Karing. >> Kettering. >> Circleville, right? >> I know the I think I know the place. you're talking about. >> No. Centerville. Yeah. Rob Derk. The. best. >> He was making Oh, yeah. He Yeah. Yeah. >> He made a lot of money, right? >> 46 seasons in 11 years. He was making 30. a year for ridiculousness. That's just.
that show. Let alone all his other all. their shoot everything else. Rob Derk. right here. >> Yeah. You're talking about. >> respect. >> Head of the head of the ball game, huh? >> Oh, one of the goats in this entire. thing. And rest in peace to Big Black. >> Oh, yeah. >> Obviously the legend. >> Had a beer of 40 with him. >> Former Marine. >> Really? >> He had an incredible vibe. Yeah, he was. awesome. >> Just joking. >> He's I don't think Big [laughter] Black. >> Yeah, just joking. >> Who was the uh Miller Light guy? Uh. Wendle. >> Wendle. Rest in peace. Wendle. Had a few. Miller lights with him as well. Rest in. peace to him. Yeah, I believe he was in. my life. Yeah.
>> Yeah. He was here in Indianapolis a few. different times. Had a great time. Big. black. Great time. He was great vibes. What a great show. >> Turns out if that heel would have gone. out of bounds. >> Okay. >> It would have been incomplete. >> Yeah. >> It's a good update. >> Big up. >> I wanted you to have that. >> Now [snorts] it makes you appreciate it. that much more. >> Text McCauley. >> Watch. Watch the toe. >> Got that right. >> I can't believe I thought that right. >> Yeah. Yeah. But you didn't see You saw. it on your phone. You saw it on your. phone. >> Yeah, exactly.
>> So, the heel being in. >> is huge, brother. Yeah. >> If if what he lifts it up and falls out. after the toe touch is still good as. well. >> Yeah. If the heel touches out of bounds, >> but if right here he lifts off of his. toe onto the ground and he'll never. touch. >> and heels in bounds. >> Yeah. But I'm saying as his foot comes. down, >> still a touchdown. >> That's crazy. >> Omar Cooper Jr., Indianapolis, Indiana. boy. >> down there for the Hooers. Fernando. Mendoza potentially gonna be on the show.
today. He he he was not able to. >> Okay, >> that was 35 minutes. >> Yeah, he's got class, right? >> All right, Herby. We're going to get out. of here, I think, as a show as a whole, brother. >> All right, boys. >> Go get him tonight, Pack. Good luck. >> Yeah, good luck to the Eagles as well. for those of us that have. >> Fly Eagles fly. >> the Philadelphia Eagles at plus one. But. also, good luck to the NFL. Let's have a. great prime time. Let's have. >> Let's have a great one. Let's get snow. Big ratings. Close game. >> Well, >> love to watch those snowy things. >> Well, the ratings are going to be. problematic, you know, cuz everybody's.
black, you know. >> Is that still going on? That's still. going on. >> Send another tweet, Herby. All right. Be. your friend. Tell a friend something. Don't actually don't. >> do it. Don't you dare. >> No, I learned you coached me up on that. now. I know. I went I went to the site. >> Herby, why don't you break us down? Then. we're going to take a break and we'll. come back and do all the overreactions. and be on our way. But this is our last. time with you, Herby, on this glorious. overreaction Monday. Anything to say to. the team here, Herby? >> Love you, boys. You guys are the best. We love Mondays. So, we can overreact.

It's. been a while that. >> they were teammates in college and me. and Joey Galloway were teammates in the. pros. That's how [laughter] long he. >> fast. He was still fast. >> He could still. >> What's that? >> 418. >> Yeah.

[music].
I might drink a little. [music] I might. smoke a lot. Good times. [music]. >> The best year of college football that. it's ever had is about to have the. greatest playoffs it's ever had. And it. all starts right here in front of. touchdown Jesus and these beautiful. people. And I need you to say go [music]. Irishers.
>> They'll do that all night. If you make. this kick, I will double his kick to. $500,000. I will also donate $250,000. [music]. to a charity of Chris Dy's choosing. Yeah. Let it go. >> Oh god. [screaming]. That's terrible. That's terrible. [music]. $750,000. The Lord is watching you. >> 1 million.

I know European soccer fans are wild. That's like 30 to [music] 60,000. You're. about to see all weekend 100,000 plus. bananas atmosphere. And that is one part. of the reason why college ball is so. damn great. Is. >> this not a fun show? >> No serious serious football. Alabama. Jones is very serious. [laughter]. >> You know, he was trying to be funny, which I get it. And you know, my. daughter Kristen loves him, so that's. kind of soothed the soul a little bit.
that somebody in our family likes the. guy. [laughter]. >> I choose to believe. [music] And for a. touchdown, Jesus. And everybody look. down. IOU GETS A MASSIVE WIN OVER NOTRE DAME. SHANE, I'm sorry. You're a real scumbag. [laughter]. I thought Coach Signetti coming out here. was a real disgrace to the game. He left. his players in the locker room to go get. some camera time for himself. I know a. legend like yourself [music] would never. do something like that. Would you? >> No. No. It's disgusting. I saw it. I.
thought, "Wow, what a sad, disgusting. program." A million go Irish. >> Riley Leonard and the Irish from their. own two. JEREMIAH LOVE BREAKS FREE. Jeremiah Love trying to go 98. Touchdown. [music]. >> Might be fiction for a blowout here, fellas. >> Couldn't wait to get to the wonderful.

Nonfrosted strawberry pop. >> I like non frosted poptarts.
>> I like nonrosted poptarts. Now, I at one point this year was the. mayor of Cocktown. You were the mayor. Mayor of Cocktown. Yeah. They voted me. in there and my How do you become the. mayor of Cocktown? He's going to go. around and say, "Listen, I hard [ __ ] I. hard CS." Sorry, numerous. Whenever we. found out that there was going to be a. college football playoff game in. Columbus, Ohio, we were all jacked up to. see this Ohio State faithful be. showcased to the entire world about how.

Guys [music]. got a whole locker room. [laughter]. >> Welcome back to our home the boat. No on. this over reaction Monday, November. 10th, 2025 hour three. The breakfast. starts [music] now. >> Football is match. Well, that's AJ Hawk.
The toxic table was here at Boston Conor. and at Ty Schmidt. One half of the. hammer Cowboys AP. Tony is here. Tom, what are the numbers on tonight's game? We already made our picks because Kirk. Herbry was so damn confident about how. this is going to go. And I'll say I'll. tell you, he's seeing the game. >> He is. >> Mhm. >> He is seeing the field right now. Now. certainly in college it will carry over. to Monday Night Football. Feels like he. thinks this is the last second field. goal for Green Bay to get the win. He. picked Green Bay minus one and a half. AJ Hawk, you picked Green Bay minus one. and a half as well. Uh obviously feel. obligated to as the all-time leading.
tackler, but why do you actually believe. that as well? >> I mean, I think it's going to be one of. those magical nights in Lambeau. I truly. do. I saw there's there's flurries. possibly going to happen. It's just it. Yeah, good luck beating this team. Josh. Jacobs on the ground. Even though I have. a ton of respect for Philly's Dline and. what they can do, but man, I just think. Jordan Love puts it together. This is. one of those games you look back on, you. know, two months from now and you say, "Hey, we took a big step that night.". >> Yeah, the Eagles could be saying the. same thing, Debbuck, couldn't they be? >> Yeah, I think they will. I think the. Eagles fly tonight. I just looked up the. odds. It's around plus 250 for my.
alternate line, which is - 6 and a half. Uh, I didn't had no idea that graphic. popped up with the, you know, them being. 8-0 against the spread straight up in. winning those games by an average of. 12.6 points. I believe Saquon finding. his footing. I think uh bit of a a. runaway for the Eagles tonight. >> Tone, what's the number? Who's on what? >> So, if you want, you get the pack at. minus a half. You can get the Eagles at. plus that one and a half if you guys. want. If you don't want to go with. debuts - 6 and a half alternate uh. spread there, 80% of the bets are on.
Philadelphia. [ __ ] Love that. Love. that. >> Love the Pack tonight. [laughter]. Love them. >> One team's coming off a terrible loss. >> this weekend. >> Oh, we just played in a bad weather. game. >> This weekend, teams that are getting 60%. or more of the bets are 4 and seven. >> Oh, no. >> Oh, >> that was. four. >> Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I feel okay. I feel okay because I. didn't like that 80% number there. It. was really high. I said, "Football, why. don't you bless me with a ball shot. right here? see if I'm uh going in the.
right direction. That was splashy splash. right there. >> That was good news. But well, we're not. gonna be able to play. >> Anyways, let's get some more of. reaction, shall we? This Monday of. football season could be a special one. >> Could be a breaking point for some fans. and it could be a making point for some. fans. That's why we kind of want to get. the temperature, the lay of the land. around the league with different fandom. So, I put out a tweet that said, "Hey, why don't you tell me how you feel? What. do you think of your team? Are you great. or you ass? All you got to use is the.
hash I don't want to overreact but. Tai will scan through them and find his. favorites. Uh it ended up being a top. three trending topic I do believe. We. appreciate everybody loving ball as much. as we do and also utilizing this tweet. as a therapeutic session to kind of get. it all out of you. Let's start first. with Evan Fox. Okay, this guy, handsome. guy, good beard. Okay, one point we saw. him, he didn't have a beard. Much. different life now with a beard. Super. handsome, very mature. Two weddings. >> This guy got married twice. It was uh it.
was truly a wonderful thing. >> Same person. >> Wonderful. Yes. Same person. Two. Same. person is an awesome person, by the way. Just this guy has lived with the Lions. his whole life, though. You know, has. looked forward to the Thanksgiving all #. I don't want to overreact. But. >> not only is MCDC the best coach in the. NFL, but he's also the best play caller. in the NFL. Do not [ __ ] with foureyed. Dan Campbell. #1 pride. Amen, brother. I. I mean, it was a masterclass seemingly. by Dan Campbell.
>> Yeah, if we're overreacting right now. just based off Lions Twitter. Everyone. was done with John Morton there. And. listen, love Johnny Mo, but the offense. was clunky. It didn't look right. It. didn't look like a Ben Johnson's. offense. And then MCDC takes the reigns. over and it looks amazing. Everyone's. eating. Everyone's getting balls. And uh. also, I got to add this in there. after. a loss. Dan Campbell hasn't lost the. next game in 1100 days. And that's just. incredible coaching. So, I'm happy he's. our guy. >> Yeah, certainly happy he's your guy for.
the sake of your life and your football. fandom. Um, you know, him taking over. play calling and them being great. Do. you think this comes from everybody. complaining about not getting the ball. on Monday and Dan Campbell saying enough. of it, I'll just call the plays. And did. we know this about Dane Campbell as we. were talking about Ben Johnson's genius? Do we think Dan Campbell also maybe had. a hand in this in the past or is it just. like hey I'll jump in whenever you need. me AJ. >> I I bet before it was probably very. collaborative throughout the week and. everything but when it comes to the game.
like only one person can be calling the. plays and can have the radio and radioed. into uh to the quarterback's helmet. But. yeah, you're taking bits of advice and. and everything throughout the game. But. think about it, you're the guy making. the call. You're on the clock. As soon. as that play ends, boom, we're on to the. next one. You're planning for, you know, future drives, which has been awesome so. far watching all this. What a shot. Also, sorry for the gentleman that got. suspended. What a shot he had on a. monster, [laughter] man. >> I'm sorry. I just thought of it again. Jeez, that was just that was a violent. shot. Yeah. So, credit to all involved, I guess, on this one. He.
>> was. >> He felt he he saw that right at the last. second, didn't he? >> So, Aman Yeah. I just he had his hand. down. I I I genuinely don't know. >> how we got to this point. I'm sure both. parties there certainly understand now. uh they are not uh good friends but. whenever. >> they were a good offense they were. winning games so MCDC to take over the. play calls I wonder what happened. >> Johnny Mo has got to be so pissed too. MCDC is like oh yeah I'll take a take.
over over the calls against the. commanders Johnny Mo's like we can call. literally anything and score 50 AGAINST. COMMANDERS. >> OH BUT THAT'S THE THING IS THEY WEREN'T. utilizing all their weapons so I think. if you listen to what was said by some. of the players afterwards like we got a. lot of good guys when we spread around. we can all kind eat or whatever. I think. there was a lot of complaints happening. to Dan Campbell about not getting the. ball. I think there was people pissed. off and Dan Campbell was like, "You're. right, man. You're right, man. I'm going. What can I do? I'm going to do it." And. then he just gives the ball to. everybody. I mean, how many people had. literally play changing games. Felt like.
all of the stars had big time plays. >> J Mo had six catches. St. Brown had five. catches. Leaporta had five catches. Khalif Raymond had four catches. Uh Jir. Gibbs had 173 total yards. So, yeah. And. my favorite part about it all, and this. is just being a good head coach, is when. even though they were winning games, they're five and three, it just didn't. look right. And he knew something had to. change, so he changed it and he put it. on himself. >> What if he has six turnovers next week, man? >> Uhoh. Oh man. >> Oh man. >> And then we got a whole another. conversation.
>> Oh man. >> Johnny Morton was calling plays, man. >> Yeah, that wasn't me, man. >> Yeah. Just like Vilma just. >> Oh, man. >> Yeah. >> For some reason, he just wouldn't say. that Dan Campbell was calling plays. And. I don't know like if he just thought. that he couldn't, you know, but he was. like alluding to it was like sure looks. like he's potentially and they were. zoomed in on his face and he was talking. and he had glasses [clears throat]. and I think they even showed Jared Goff. go like this to him and then him go, "Hey Jared," you know, while he was. doing it and they just refused to say. it, you know, like on the on the.
broadcast from my understanding. Did. they ever get to the point of saying, "Hey, it's very obvious that Dan. Campbell's calling the plays right now.". It just felt like they were a little. gunshy. >> Yeah. never outright said it, but that. tweet I just showed you guys that came. out right when the game started. So. clearly Galo knew this change happened. and was just getting out in front of. everyone. So that's why it was so weird. that Jonathan Vilma wouldn't just. address it. >> Yeah. Hey, Campbell's calling the plays. here. >> Vilma could see him with his glasses on. and the thing. >> and Johnny Mo not having a play sheet.
like they kept showing that on TV. It. was very obvious. >> It was very obvious. I'm telling you, it. was in between plays they were showing. this is the offense coordinator not. doing anything. He's literally not. sitting. He's just sitting up there. Just sitting up there having a good. time. Got a good little goatee, I think. I don't think I knew exactly what he. looked like. And they go back to Dan. Campbell. Glasses on is while the play. clock's happening. He's like, "He. certainly looks like he could. potentially be." It's like, "Brother, the. >> Dan Campbell like finessed him and like. the production means like, "No, Johnny. Mo will be calling. You'll see me with. glass.".
>> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. They. wouldn't confirm to Vilma. Maybe maybe. they asked him, "Hey, are you you going. to be calling plays, coach?" And he's. like, "No, you know, it's all it's all. team effort. It's all I respect Jonathan. Vilma. I'm not gonna say I don't. But as. I was listening to him talk, I'm like, >> are we all. >> what am I missing? I I I had him muted. at first. Then I see Dan Campbell with. his glasses on, his little [ __ ]. thing. I'm like, that looks sweet. Let's. go over there. And then I hear Vilma. saying, "This guy may be not calling. police." It's like he's [ __ ] clearly. >> Have we ever seen him with glasses on?
Have we? This foureyed guy. I don't. think we've ever seen four-eyed guys. doing. But I appreciate Jonathan Vilma. Okay. I do appreciate Jonathan Vilma. doing his thing. Kenny Albert doing. their thing and the president call play. love what they're doing but just. refusing to acknowledge what was clearly. happening which will go on to be one of. the biggest stories of the entire game. Basically it's like hey this Detroit. Lions team completely changed who's. calling plays here. The head coach is. now in charge which then goes to a whole. >> do the coordinators matter if MCDC can.
just go ahead and do everything. And he. has said he has said this place should. be able to operate without me in here. Is it what I want to build? What a good. spot for the Detroit Lions. Let's move. on. Vilman Kenny Albert, great great. work out there. I'm just saying every. time I heard the conversation about is. he calling plays, it's like this guy's. been in the NFL a long time. Like what. do we is maybe he was being told you. can't. >> Well, I was just waiting for Kenny. Albert to BE LIKE, "YES, HE IS." You. know, usually that would be his role, but he he didn't. >> What did Kenny say to the president?
Uh, the only thing I listen for when I. hear Kenny Albert talk, if he's not. saying yes, just over and over again, it's kind of in one ear, out the other. >> There was a lot of those for the Detroit. Lions. >> Yeah, exactly. >> A lot of big TIME THROWS AND. >> AND YES, TOUCHDOWN. A LOT OF those. >> and then commanders turnover. Detroit. Lions got the ball AGAIN AND. >> AND OH, NO. BUT BUT YES, that's kind of. his bag and that's that's why I love him. so good. >> Is the president gonna be joining you in. the booth tonight, Kenny? Yes.
>> Do you have a plan for the president, Kenny? >> Yes. >> Are you going to have him call a play, Kenny? >> Yes. >> Whenever the commander score, is the. president immediately going to. acknowledge the ratings boost that that. has to be because this game has been. boring and a blowout? >> Yes. >> Okay, [laughter]. let's go to the next overreaction from. Boston Connor legend living in his best. life right now. # I don't want to. overreact. The Patriots are so much better than.
your favorite team. And this year's. draft class might go down as the best. draft class in the history of ball. Take. a long look and get used to it again. Tell me about the draft class, Con, man. >> Yeah, every single one of those players. on there played their asses off. Trevion, of course, everyone knows. I I. believe he reached 22 mph. We're just. talking about that at the break. Kyle. Williams also 72 yard touchdown. Filthy. He's, you know, kind of sitting a little. bit in the back seat right now just. because Kahan Booty's doing so well. Jared Wilson starting left guard. Will.
Campbell, of course, starting left. tackle. And then Craig Woodson. I texted. Debbut during the game. He's the reason. uh they were so comfortable letting Kyle. Duggar out the door. He actually had a. massive uh pass breakup on third and. three, which led to a fourth and three, which led to a turnover on downs. He is. very, very good. Good. And then the. photo on the right, McDaniels, you know, the co the the the coaching staff is not. going anywhere. Everyone they have, not. everyone, essentially everyone they have. has either been a head coach or who has.
been in a kind of higher position. And. everyone just feels comfortable being. under the Mike Vrabel, Supreme. Commander, head coach uh tree. And I. don't think any of them want to leave. McDaniels has already said, I just want. to coach Drake May for the rest of my. career. And that's the most important. thing. Uh head coaching matters. I mean, we just heard everything we just talked. about about MCDC and Foxy. It's actually. the only reason I'm worried about my. Packers pick because I think Leaf Force. sucks. But the Patriots are. unbelievable. There is a chance here.
that this this uh draft class one just. kind of picks up the Drake May uh. basically flag and just continues to run. with the man. The Pats are going to be. good for the next 10 years with Drake. May and Vrabel and it might go much much. further after that. >> Congrats to you guys. We're really. bummed out for you for those couple. years. >> And and I and I felt that and I. appreciate that and now you guys can. just be happy for me. >> Okay. We are happy for you again. It's. not just the Patriots. Yeah. Red Sox. Well, it looks like they're going to be. good. >> Yeah. They're on the up and up. And. don't look now, but Marco Stern has.
those Boston Bruins playing pretty. [ __ ] well, too. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. Oh, yeah. And hold on. Luca Garza. had 16 and eight last night. And we beat. the Orlando Magic as underdogs. Joe. Missoula. uh if he's not the head coach. of the Celtics, he's going to coach his. son's team because he doesn't want to. coach for anyone else. And I fear that. might lead to a very terrible life for. coach Missoula, but he's going to be the. head coach in Boston for a little. >> Okay. So, you got a young head coach. there. You got a new head coach for the. Patriots. You got a newer head coach for. the Bruins. >> Where the Red Sox go? I know they got.
Tony Tony, right? >> And we Yeah, we got Tony Tony. Uh also, word on the street is. >> Derek Scubble wants to be a Boston Red. Sox, baby. Really? So, so don't look. now. the the the kind of four major. teams that you guys and myself have been. so used to being just dominant in Title. Town USA. >> We we had a little bit of a drought. >> Won the NBA championship two years ago, but we had a little bit of a drought. >> Yeah, I had a parade still. >> They're all the way back. All four of. them. It's dangerous times for everybody.
else. I feel real bad if if you're not a. New England sports fan. It It might get. real ugly across the board. >> It has been in the past. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. mass mass being given a lot of. reason to be massoles. >> It's certainly a time that we're staring. down here and we all need to understand. that. You know, we try to give a little. bit of a warning at the end of COVID as. people were starting to roll out in. public. Okay. Try to remember this. Try. to give a little bit of a warning like, hey, when you're at your house all by. yourself and you're just popping off on. the internet like there was no actual.
repercussions other than people saying. you're a jerk. Okay? Real life people. will punch you in the [ __ ] face. >> Okay? You need to remember that as we. get out of our house and we go into. public and society. Let's remember that. there are people that are about about it. out there and not about about it with. your [ __ ] and they will punch you in. the face. First weekend of sports it was. a knockout. >> every baseball game. >> every sing boom the bang in the pound. Felt like that was an observational. thing from us that we did pretty good. societal studies in the entire thing.
Another one [ __ ] are about to be all. the way back and very loud. remember. what it was like 10 years ago, 15 years. ago. It's about to be like that again. We should prepare accordingly. >> Yeah. And I just really worry um that. within these next couple years, >> Paul Ski ships up to Boston and then we. have a real problem on our hands when it. comes to those four. >> He's not shipping. >> Well, he he's an LSU guy. Will Campbell, too. I believe they're kind of they're. kind of friends, actually. And when you. hear Drake May speak, it just feels like.
him and skins are kind of like. soulmates, you know, like they both they. both are just about their sport. That. that's it. That, you know, Drake May, I'm sure he is more than a football. player, but he's a football player. through and through. There's there's. nothing about him that's not ball. And. uh also his the comments under his. wife's TikTok cuz his wife is just kind. of I mean she's got a May in the shade, you know? She's married to Drake [ __ ]. May. So uh she's just kind of cooking. and it's awesome actually. and it looks. great. All the comments on her Tik Tok. are hilarious. It's just, hey, if Drake,
don't don't let Drake eat too much. tonight, unless he unless he wants to, then let him eat whatever he wants. >> She's first lady all of a sudden. >> Yeah, Lady May, if you will. Uh, but. yes, it is it is wonderful to be a new. >> Lady May is certainly a fantastic name. Congratulations to the Mays and the. Mayflower that obviously. >> of course. >> descended upon Massachusetts again. >> Mhm. >> Other teams searching far and wide for. this. >> Oh, yeah. And they. >> other city's begging for this. >> Oh dear. >> New England, sis. Let us take it again.
>> How could they let Rabel go back there? >> Oh, the Titan. You know, >> Rainbow said something about the. >> He did. >> Mhm. >> Just don't put our names in the same. sentence. [laughter]. >> Good luck, Nashville. You guys are going. to do great. >> Yeah, he'll figure it out. >> They got to be just every Titans fan. just like, >> "What have we done? What? >> They're chanting his They're chanting. his name as he comes in and beats him. with his new squad. Yeah, things happen.
>> It's tough. >> What is kind of sweet that we should. talk about is how great the NFC is at. the top. The AFC isn't that great across. the board aside from New England and. Indianapolis. Like it really is. If. you're looking at the top, especially. right now, like how great do we feel. about the Broncos? Eh, >> Steelers, Chargers, Bills, Jags, like the Chiefs. The Chiefs, they're in the middle of a. dynasty. I fully expect them to be at. least the five seed, if not come back. and win that division.
>> He is, by the way, I didn't He's much. more. >> pretty put together. >> Yeah, he's much more stocky, like kind. of jacked than you think, you know, because everybody sees photos and they. think he has. He was hit him on the back. a couple times. It's like, "Oh, this. guy, >> he's got some Got it.". >> Yeah, because he's been hitting a lot of. B. First thing he shows up, I go, "You. got to stop [ __ ] taking these hits. I'm sick of it." He goes, "What? I'm. giving the hits. I'm not taking hits. I. go, "Exactly. This is the problem I'm. talking about. You need to stop thinking. like that." So, made sure I added it on. air just so Chiefs fans, everybody know.
I am. Thank you. >> I am on your side. He He needs to stop. trying to run people. He's already a. GOAT. Already has a Hall of Fame resume. And now he's like, "You know what? Yeah, I'm actually toughest guy on this field, too. I'm going to start doing it's like, we know you are. You've proved it. Way. to go. We need you not doing that." He's. special, dude. You should have seen him. when him and Mrs. Holmes walked onto the. [ __ ] field. It was just like the. whole place goes crazy. Wasn't on the. jumbotron at first as he was walking. out. >> So students section area, this corner.
basically goes crazy. Then they put him. up on the thing and it was just like you. watch the entire [ __ ] wave. Yeah. Just absolutely go crazy. Was like, "Holy shit." And they're wearing his. uniforms out there. >> Sick. >> Yeah. He's done good. I'd say has done. good. New college ball, too. I don't. know how his picks were, but he like he. knew it very very well. >> Did his picks go all right? Yeah. I. don't know how how his picks ended up. Yeah, he was good on there. >> I don't remember. >> Yeah, I'm not sure. He did say in there. though the favorite guy for him to watch. right now is Dante Moore and we as far.
as the draft goes next year. We really. didn't talk about him with Mendoza and. Tai Simpson. Like Dante Moore might be. one of those. >> I saw people saying that Riyola was. going to be upset. He said that. >> Oh yeah, >> a lot of people saying that. >> I saw those tweets. >> He was hurt. He was talking about. active. He was. >> Yeah. The Incredibles meme. >> Yeah. of the Yeah. >> Dante threw some really good balls in. the rain. >> Yeah. What's that? >> Dante threw some really good balls in. the rain and all of his wide receivers. were out. >> He only threw the ball like five times, right? >> You guys could have won that game. >> Should have won that game. >> Yeah.
>> But. >> hey, that's life. >> Yep. >> We knew they weren't. We all knew they. weren't. >> No, I don't think so. >> As soon as Kirk Herbstreet opened his. mouth, >> whispered. >> on Thursday. >> Yeah, but that was it. That move right. there. that would indicate like I I was. more worried about oh they're going to. get routed like they're going to come in. and it really you know like Iowa had. their opportunities. They outplayed them. actually. >> Yeah. But the football gods just weren't. going to let that happen. >> That fumble. >> Yeah. >> The fumble. The fumble. >> Oh, 67. Is that what he just did right.
there? >> Yeah. >> It's really alive and well. I noticed. that whenever uh Sab went like this. while he was giving an answer, the. entire student section, >> everybody [clears throat] just. immediately went to it. I was like, "Holy [ __ ] this thing's got real. motion. got. >> Yes, it does. Yes, it certainly does. And I'll tell you what, I'm starting to. find a lot of different ways to use it, you know, if it's going to be a part of. society. We we should start maybe using. it. Then you got the people going, "When's this over?". >> I'm like, I I don't want to be the. bearer of bad news. But I just watched. [ __ ] 10,000 people do it all in.
unison. None of them talked about it. So, I think we're currently what you. like to call in its prime. Oh, yeah. >> I believe we are currently in its prime. And it's going to have some more time. I. didn't believe that was uh. >> that love place was crazy. All right, let's go to another overreaction, shall. we? Phoenix Maximus uh fan of the. program. I believe a lot of action. We. appreciate the hell out of them. Don't. know who it is. Hashtag I don't want to. overreact, but Tomlin and his Steelers. live off of historical greatness. Morning and Greek tourism department. The best ownership in Pittsburgh. [laughter] is Fenway at this point. And.
damn, it hurts to say that. Fire. everyone except Boss. I don't know if. the Fenway group is still in with the. Penguins. If if they are, I believe. >> they suck. >> They are trying to get out and we are. hoping that they are on their way out. But on that note, uh the Greek tourism. board, that's throwback. >> That's back when the Greek gods were. really doing their thing, trying to get. us over there. Do you think that's true. on how people view the Pittsburgh. Steelers? >> Um funny fact, I believe I either muted. or blocked that guy last night. Um.
[laughter]. >> so that's good. >> Phoenix man. >> Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Uh he's a bit. chirpy. Um, [laughter]. but no, what he said there is not. incorrect. Um, Tom and coaches like it's. 1988. Uh, you know, run the ball, protect the ball, try to force. turnovers. So, it's old. It's It's worn. out. We're over it. >> Whoa. [laughter]. >> You're over this whole season, Tone? >> Uh, no. No. I'm in a point this season. where they can't hurt me anymore. Um, [laughter]. >> I don't know if that's the case.
>> No. Literally last night, for the first. time in my history of a fan at half, I. said, "I know how the second half's. going to go." And I turned it off. I. really. >> never ever done that in my entire life. >> That's dad, husband, full-time job life. right there on a Sunday night saying, "Fuck, >> I'm not letting him do it to me again.". >> Yep. Wife's out of town, so I knew I, you know, if I had to deal with stuff, it was going to be me. So, I said, you. know, I'm not letting the Steelers ruin. my night. And I did. Defense wasn't bad, though. It was Aaron played the worst. game you could possibly play as a. quarterback. I don't know. We had six turnovers last.
week against Pittsburgh Steelers. >> I saw a negative 10 passing yard on a. graphic earlier in the show today. So. >> there was a couple. Yeah. >> Yeah. But you saw it. You saw it. I. mean, he overthrew DK. He overthrew. Jonnu. He It was Aaron has been. incredible this season. I want to I'll. say that. But last night was horrendous. He he was on the three yard line and. thought he was Michael Vic and decided. to jump backwards into the end zone for. for safety. That was. >> How many people in Pittsburgh are saying. the exact things that you just said. right there? Did you hear that? I just.
heard every Pittsburgh dad go, "Oh, Aaron Rogers, 47 years old, thinks he's. Mike Vic." Okay, you're going to outrun. Khil Mack. Okay, Aaron. >> Yeah, jump go further into the end zone. next time. >> We could win the next five or we could. lose the next five. And that's just how. it is right now. >> Good luck to the Steelers and Phoenix. Maximus. Yeah, >> let's go to the next overreaction. This. one's from Grant. Uh, I believe that's a. Korean flag at Grant Andre, maybe. international teacher or something. Hashtag I don't want to overreact, but. Colts winning the Super Bowl. Indiana.
Jones sucking the blood out of the. Falcons defense. JT ramming through. everyone like a juggernaut. The football. gods blessing us with Warren. Not even. worried about this schedule. Me neither, Grant. Hell yeah. Everything you just. said was right. I knew it was uh a big. day for Jonathan Taylor just because I. saw him running a lot, but with the way. the game was going, I don't think I. expected it. Whenever they said he is. 220 yards right now, I was like 220. >> good Guten Morgan Jonathan Taylor. This. has been a great day over there in.
Germany. And then obviously with his. ability to break the long run long one, the home run one, it's like any game is. changeable. If we're losing, we're out. There's a chance we're about to hit a. home run. is the longest touchdown of. the season for Jonathan Taylor and the. NFL for a run. It's like this guy's. outrageous. Four three touchdown games. is insane. Offensive line seemingly all. the way back. Now, they do have to. protect a little bit better and the. Snappers got to get the ball to Daniel. Jones's chest whenever he's snapping it. We can't have him bouncing all over the. place. Danny Dimes has another two.
turnovers this week following last. week's six turnover game. So, eight. turnovers in two week period. We end up. with a win throughout the So, that's. good news. But if we get that cleaned. up, which we should be able to, Danny. Dimes is making massive throws. A lot of. people want Daniel Jones to go back to. who he was in New York. I hate to break. it to you. With little to no time left, he was dropping dimes in overtime. He. dropped an absolute dime. Like the big. moments whenever they called for it, Daniel Jones delivered, which I think is. what everybody who wants to see him fail.
would say he can't do, he can. Tyler. Warren, to his point about the football. gods blessing us, he's unbelievable. He. had his ankle taped, too. I have no idea. what he's got going on, but he's not. going on the field with an ankle tape. like that if there isn't something real. So, I assume he's pretty banged up. He. had a couple huge huge He had a fourth. down obviously for us earlier. That one. in overtime puts us in position to kick. the field goal if we want to to win. this. Uh instead, Jonathan Taylor says, "Let me just go and pull him away and. then I'll do my dance all over Germany.". And the Colts were the home team. There. was an interesting situation with Cle.
Blakeman in a coin toss at overtime, but. it felt like it was a home game, too. Bjorn Verer was on the Anvil beforehand. showed up. The place went crazy. The guy. who sings the. what's his name? [snorts]. >> Scooter. >> Scooter performed his song. Everybody. was dancing. Deflow was not uh. performing. He was probably there if I. had to guess. Edan James, Dallas Clark. were doing a bunch of stuff. Kayn built. a parking lot or a pick a park. I mean, I'm so sorry. Over there. It's like the. Colts. Carly Ers uh goes and buys a.
round for everybody that was at the. Colts homebased bar. And then we. actually got inside information from. source. >> sis. >> in Germany that maybe were the DJ for a. couple different events and uh the DJ. said to us that Carly Ersi walked in. Okay, I don't think she was supposed. planned to be there. Asked the DJ, hey, how do you say let's [ __ ] go in. German? DJ tells her and then she says. that to the crowd. Place goes absolutely. crazy. She does a how you doing? Maybe. buys a round and then leaves. So, it's.
like Carly, Kalin, the Colts tried to. embrace Germany, I think, as much as. possible. And I think Germany was. embracing them back, especially with our. history with Bjorn, former first round. pick, and obviously everything he's done. for the game over there. And then we put. on a show for him. It was like home run. situation for a Colts home game in. Germany. And uh I was really proud of. the entire uh franchise and organization. to be clear. >> Absolutely. Took a total team effort. You know, going overseas, it's always. different challenges you got to deal. with. uh as a team we coaches always say.
hey play the whole 60 minutes and we've. seen teams around the league lose leads. Jaguars Giants whoever it is in that. fourth quarter. So for us to close the. game out Bagley making the kick Badgerly. making the kick after he missed a couple. which which was a big time kick we. needed it and defense getting the stop. in OT and then offense going down and. getting it done. And then obviously. Sauce Gardner you trade two first round. picks that's going to be a conversation. a lot of eyes going to be on him. I can. imagine what he was trying to deal with, learning the playbook, traveling, doing.
all the different things. So, I'll give. him a pass kind of on this performance, even though he had a good performance, but I don't think it was up to his. standard. So, I'm excited to see where. we're going with this for uh you know, kind of this whole new team and new. generation with Daniel Jones. And then. the celebration. We got to talk about. the celebration with Cam Ber cuz this I. think this was a two Americas type of. SITUATION. uh with the Colts tweet and we talk. about hey you never want to be the main. character on black Twitter. The Colts.
Twitter handle was definitely the main. character on Sunday after the uh Cam Bum. team. >> if we can pull that tweet up. Uh. >> we're looking. >> Okay. Yeah. So Cam Bum you know. So Drew. Hill, you know who Drew Hill is, you. know, the big time R&B group. >> I'm 38 years old, so I know. >> Yeah. So they kind of go thong song. >> Exactly. Lead singer, but. >> their, you know, main kind of dance. move, if once you once you pull the clip. up, we'll see what that is. But it. became more popular in the last, I would. say, probably year or so on Twitter in a.
in a in a group of Twitter, black. Twitter, parents started to punish their. kids with Drew Hills. Like, hey, give me. 10 Drew Hills. Give me 20 Drew Hills. And obviously kids have been pissed off. So Cam Bino pulled it out. And then. we'll have the post right here with the. uh. >> Do we have the Colts post or just the. dance? Yeah. Yeah. Here's the Is this. the Colts post that he was talking. about? This is the dance. Can we show. the dance first? We'll show the dance. So here's the dance and then here's the. >> the. >> So great execution by the boys. Great,
you know, uh they are all on the same. page. And then with the tweet though, the tweet had uh the Colts were uh. getting jiggy with it. So I I don't know. if they thought that was [laughter] a. big Willie performance. And then once. you go down in the comments, you'll see. a lot of hey, all right, we know who's. running the Colts account. We know. what's going on here. So. just be schooled up. Be be on on the. same page. >> How many views on that getting jiggy. with it? That got into that got into. Black Twitter. >> It got in the middle.
>> You just got TO BE SURE, RIGHT? OH, >> BE SURE before you go for public with. it, right? >> Got tricky with it. Nice. [laughter]. >> Let's see how many views this one got. >> Scroll down. Scroll down. Okay. Yeah, a lot of people saw that. Got some great comments, a lot of. quotes, a lot of Yeah. So, it's one of. those moments, but great vibes. Huge win. by the Colts over there in German. >> Well, Jimmy Click did get still a fact. [laughter] Still a fact. That's what's that's what's being said.
in the social media department. We. weren't saying it was Will Smith. We. were we were just saying that they were, >> as you can see, >> kind of getting a jiggy. >> Look at 32. He's getting jiggy with it. right there. >> Are they not getting jiggy? [laughter]. >> So, you're telling me that's not getting. jiggy? Okay. I thought we're trying to. get jiggy with it. [laughter]. >> Oh, I love it. The internet's the. greatest. >> It's the best. >> Let's go to another overreaction tweet, Joe. This one's from TR at ChosenFW554. And we appreciate you being great at.
whatever you do. # I don't want to. overreact, but the Bills are dead. Move. us to Canada and get it over with. I'd. rather shut my balls in a car door than. ever watch what I had to witness on. Sunday again. Tear down new stadium and. put the Buffalo statues out of their. misery. All right. This guy wants them. to kill the statues that aren't tall. enough. >> Yeah. >> Just get them away from everything. >> Bills obviously losing the Dolphins. Their fans not happy about it. Remember, not all ass teams are ass all the time. Nope. And on that [clears throat] note, every once in a while, really good teams. are going to play like ass, which I. think is what happened on this. particular field down in South Florida.
Obviously, Dolphins fans are very. excited. Gumpy's got a hoodie. He's got. a hat. I I mean, he's got the whole. thing on this victory Monday. They were. celebrating in the locker room. They. love McDaniels. This comes after they. fire Greer. So, maybe a special Sunday. for Miami. And on that note, Bills fans, you can't give up that quick. Can't give. up that quick. Now, there's some trends. that are happening to this Bills defense. that I think are alarming for Bills. fans. if you want to win a Super Bowl. Uh Hembo sent us a stat. They're not. stopping a run at all against good. running backs. Derrick Henry goes crazy. Bean Robinson goes crazy. A Chan goes.
crazy against the Buffalo Bills rush. defense. So they certainly have reason. to be, you know, a little bit alarmed. But on that note, let's not be putting. our balls in a car door, >> okay? Let's not be smashing any balls in. doors at this moment. >> Yeah, they're a fickle bunch. Uh I think. the reason is because they are looking. ahead. The Bills schedule is very, very. tough. They got the Bucks at home. Tough. game, especially Bucks coming off a loss. at Houston in prime time at Steelers.
Bengals December 7th, which. >> so you're saying a lot of things. I'm. hearing. >> not the same. >> Yeah. Yeah. True, true. Two of those. three so far, not great. But now the. Bengals in December 7th with what we. heard today, that's Joe Burrow. If if he. he comes back at New England Browns. Okay. And then the Eagles. So, just with. that race, like they. >> I'm a Bills fan. I'm pretty excited. >> I'm pretty excited for what we got down. the stretch here. >> I did keep going to Debbone's Twitter to.
see how Bills Mafia was feeling. yesterday and there was just nothing. there. It was interesting. >> Hard to tweet when you're losing. >> Debbone. >> maybe. You know, you can't be a front. runner, you know. >> Yeah. True. >> TBone understand he's national champion. football player. >> Yeah, he knows. >> he's national. They got the Eagles. still. They got the Bucks still. They. got New England still. >> Mhm. K got hurt again too. >> He's their best left. >> All right, so let's say those are three. losses. >> Yeah. And then Joe Joe Bor Bengals. I. think we just kind of have to wait and. see. I guess. >> they're what a game and a half behind.
the Pats right now. Like they really. they really can't afford and I think the. Pats I mean you know whatever you want. to however you want to look at and we. talked about how they're every team in. the NFL is good but in terms of like. strength of schedule I think they have. the easiest remaining schedule the Pats. do. So, it's like, can you even can you. even afford to lose three games? >> Do we think the Bills can win a Super. Bowl this year? >> No, >> I don't think anybody. >> put that Heb up again about the rush. yards. >> Yeah, >> that is going to be tough to win a Super. Bowl. >> BA was talking about weeks ago with the. run. >> They're 31st in rushing. Like, it's not.
just those three. >> And yeah, and even Josh Allen still. >> 31st against the run is. >> But like if you look at the offense as a. whole, like that offense isn't scaring. anybody outside of James Cook. >> Guys couldn't get open yesterday at all. Hey, I saw a lot of sick flexing out of. Miami. Guy got a pick, I think, grill. Full grill right in the camera. Them. celebrating afterwards. I'm like, good. for my. >> good for my having fun. >> This is the experience you're supposed. to have as a professional football. player. Yeah, I like that you're getting.
to have this now. Are they potentially. thinking, who knows when this is coming. again? We have no idea. Everybody unload. the clip on [ __ ] we've wanted to do. >> Okay. [laughter] Unload. Get the laundry. baskets. [ __ ] get the noise cuz the. music is. >> first for me. Yeah. And get the stage. ready for coach. We need a spinnery. [ __ ] [laughter] HIT THE WORM AS WELL, SIR. WE NEED [ __ ] coach standing on. an a riser. We need everything. We don't. know when this is happening again. We. need all the speeches. We need all the. chance. Let's get the cigars in this. [ __ ] This is football. This is.
what it's supposed to be here, boys. This is what it's supposed to be. >> Do all coaches stand on stuff when they. talk to or just. >> It's his own little stage, it looks. like. Do they travel with that thing? Looks like its own stage. >> It was a home game. The world is a stage. and McDaniel's certainly taking. advantage of it. But yeah, he just wants. to be able to see everybody in the back, you know? That's just kind of how it is. Let's go to the next overreaction, shall. we? From the Buffalo Bills slamming. their balls in car doors to Tyler. Stevenson. # I don't want overreact. >> Whoever that [ __ ] that said KOC and. JJ9, we're going to run the NFC North. needs to be held accountable. This team.
will go absolutely nowhere with this. alter ego loser QB. Round of applause to. Quy and KC on this move. I miss Donald. Jeez, a. >> lot of Vikings fans not happy about. nine. >> Yeah, people are sick of the nine thing. I think if he would have just said, "I'm. JJ McCarthy the whole time. No big. deal." Hey, our our young quarterback. had a little bit of a rough game. But I. mean, the alter ego sucks. I think. that's the problem. >> What do YOU MEAN? THIS GUY'S NEW TO THE. NFL. HE'S YOUR FIRST real snaps. He's a. rookie. >> Yeah, but like you said, I mean, I think. >> Well, he's not, but you get it.
>> right. And you and you can, you know, we've seen it with Josh Allen. Like, you. can get a little bit more accurate, you. know, while you're in the league. 20 of. 42 ain't gonna cut it. And some of these. interceptions that he was throwing. >> Manny threw 20 interceptions. >> Do you think JJ McCarthy's Pton Manning? >> Just just early just [laughter]. just early on. And we don't have to do a. whole just yes or no. Do you think Do. [laughter] you think JJ McCarthy is Pton. Manning? Personally, I don't. >> I don't know if Payton was ever saying. 18. Call me 18. Exactly. I mean, maybe.
gave up. Don't [ __ ] call me Payton. I'm 18 on the field. People [snorts] also are not happy about. the nine thing because uh Matt Stafford. people are like, "Oh, this guy thinks. he's the number one quarterback." Matt. Staf and soccer's a huge deal, too. So, I I mean, there's a lot of like nine. indicators. >> I saw a lot of replies on the post. locker room the video when he was, you. know. Oh, yeah. >> Well, not just that, like he threw. >> for 142. He threw [laughter] he threw.
one good pass in the in the in the in. the first quarter and and he's walking. down the field like he just won the. [ __ ] game. >> He got an unflapable conference. He's a. >> You got to be confident. >> So, we can say whatever we want about. him. Hold on. Let's get into this. [laughter]. >> You guys, you guys seem to. >> still early. Still early. >> But on JJ, I believe, buddy. I believe. in you, JJ. I believe [applause] in JJ. >> Everybody says he's a guy mentally. It's. like we'll see off season. hasn't had. like a career an NFL career really. opportunity. This is his rookie season.
He's in there for the first time. So, he. might have some ass throws like off by. 10 yards. >> Mhm. >> With guys that need to work on accuracy. and all that stuff, which he certainly. does, but from everything we know about. him, he'll take ownership of that and. hopefully get better. >> Yeah. A lot of what I was seeing too. was, "Oh boy, JJ McCarthy is going to. turn Justin Jefferson into Stefon Diggs. when he was in Minnesota.". >> And then KFC won't let that happen. >> Somebody's going to be throwing the ball. to Justin Jefferson. >> Yeah. Drake May, it sounds like.
>> somebody is going to be [laughter]. >> Holy [ __ ]. >> No. No. He went to the Bills. You better. hope not. You better hope. Especially. with Brandon Bean looking into Jaylen. Wadd allegedly during the trade. Yeah, he he he was going to go to the Bills. cuz they were the Kings of the AFC East, but that's over and now. >> this year everyone sees what's. happening. You want to play for Mike. Vrael and get. >> you have a lot of money too up there. >> We have the most money by a wide margin. over the next few years. >> The most mar They got a lot of picks. I.
mean, they. >> let this happen. >> Yeah. Hold on. >> I don't know how we let this happen as a. as a league. As a league. >> and and I don't know what it is, but the. number three is now mine. It used to be. four, but now the number three is my new. favorite number because if you just look. at, you know, just the importance of it, Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and uh Drake. May, all the number three overall pick. I mean, it's just one of those things. where they just fall into your lap. sometimes. >> Other people make decisions, you guys. say thank you. >> Exactly. >> Let's go to the next overreaction. This.
is what life is now. We've been trying. to give warnings. This is from NFL. opinions. # I don't want to react, but the Jets. are. >> back. We let the Stars walk and. instantly become better. Have fun with. Slips Gardner. [laughter]. >> That's good. >> Sorry about it. >> TWO POINT. IT WAS A TWO-POINT PLAY. >> YEAH. AND A GUY GOT A GOOD GET OFF. HE. WAS TRYING TO JUMP. HE KNEW IT WAS GOING. TO BE A QUICK PLAY. IT WAS WORTH TWO. Wasn't worth six. Everybody thinks. that's a touchdown. It's a two-point. conversion right here. Now, was it. pretty important? Certainly. Certainly.
It was fourth quarter. He's one-on-one. out there against their guy, too. So, obviously, it's what you bring Sarnarter. in. It's a German grass. >> Yeah, >> it's a German grass. >> He's used to poopy met life. >> He got tripped up, too. I don't like. that Drake London kicked his feet. whenever he was running there. It was a. little cheating there. I like Sauce got. his hands on the ball. It felt like. throughout this uh throughout the game. got more comfortable. Everybody kind of. got more comfortable. They're getting. live reps like, "Hey, this is what we're. going to do in this moment. This is what. we're going to do in this moment." Cuz I. said it felt like through the game like.
Sauce and the defense were figuring it. out. That's really what it felt like. And if you think about when he got. there, when he got cleared from. concussion protocol, they had to travel. to Germany. What's that like? Is there a. walk through? There hasn't really been. much for sauce to kind of get involved. So, I think real reps were really all. they had. And at the beginning, it. looked like there was a disconnect and. then it looked better. Him getting. cooked there for the two-point. conversion certainly sucks. Trey kicked. his feet, so kind of cheating there. But. I think he's a massive and I think he. had a great game, a legitimate. >> for what he was dealing with. Once. again, I think to Sau's standard. I.
don't think it's up to his standard. But. he was dealing with a lot. I kind of. give it a wash. Literally, if you're. watching the game, you can see a lot of. times whoever it was Kenny Moore or Cam, whoever you're communicating with him. almost to the last second to make sure. he's doing what he's doing. We talked. about Luan Roma and all the moving parts. in his defense. So, trying to learn and. play that. Uh some people were trying to. say the Drake London touchdown was on. him. He wasn't. We maybe talk about that. later in the week. But, uh great play. design. He made He made a great play. when he dove and got that PBU which set. up. But those are the plays for Sauce.
throughout his career that you got to. make. You got to make those good plays. into great plays. You got to have ball. production, especially when a. organization is giving up two first. round picks. But on the other side, next. week all Pro Mooney should be coming. back. So seeing those two corners on the. outside with Kenny Moore, Cambick Cross, like we got we got pieces back there. >> Yeah, we're going to win Super Bowl EJ. It's good news. And on uh the other half. of that tweet does feel like the Jets. are certainly creating something special. over there with Aaron Glenn. To Kirk. Herbstre's point though, played the.
Browns and the Bengals. >> Yep. >> Okay. Played the Browns and the Bengals, which got to win games. That's not your. fault. But on that note, I love that. they're honoring your friend. >> legit they. >> Oh, yeah. He definitely I mean, this was. awesome. They they made some really. sweet shirts and hats, too, for him. Yeah, his family was there. I mean, I'm. sure it was awesome in uh in the stadium. for this. But yeah, they believe me, Nick is You should have seen the police. presence at his funeral. All the biker. cops. There's like 40 biker cops leading. us everywhere. They they came out and. the Jet security, everyone there, they.
love that dude. So, it was it was. awesome. >> It feels like And that's Ohio State. legend there, right? >> Mhm. >> Uh what's his name? >> Rucker. Great mustache on him. Rucker. tight end. Yeah. Rucker, the tight end. with a great mustache. Fourth year out. of Ohio State. Wears the Mangled jersey. on the way in. But it does feel like. he's a part of it, you know, and that's. cool. And I think that's good baby face. for the Jets from outside in. Like I. like Nick Mangled. So, the fact that. you're honoring Nick Mangled and. continuing to do that, like we like. that. And then Aaron Glenn and them. having success. Good for you guys over. there at the Jets. >> Oh, yeah. >> You deserve it, man. You deserve it.
Let's go to the next overreaction. It's. from Casey Jones at Casey K Jones 14. #. I don't overreact, but it's time for BA. to leave the Pat McAfee. Whoa. >> Jeez. >> And get back to calling plays for the. Bucks. This offense run from top of the. league with an MVP QB to complete sh in. a matter of weeks. And that's no BS. We. need BA. Injuries or not, it's shade. >> All right. We'll ask BA if he wants to. get back on the headset. I think towards. the end of his career, he wasn't looking. to do that, but I do think with Baker.
Mayfield, expectations are for their. offense to be great right now. >> Absolutely. And this is the first year. play caller for uh Baker. So, the. continuity thing and then at this point. in the season, you know, defenses want. to take away some of the things that you. do great. On top of that, you're missing. a bunch of wide receivers. America Ibuka. is going to be your number one target. week in and week out. So defenses are. going to key in on them. But coming into. that game, Baker Mayfield was averaging. 20 completions of 200 yards over a. three-game span after that MVP start uh. to the season. So I understand what he's.
saying. Getting Bucky Irving back will. be a big a big addition for this offense. as well. I think that Bucks offense will. be okay down the stretch. >> We love Tampa. Let's go to the next. overreaction. It's from Lonely 1993. It's going to be okay at Gordy 2P. # I. don't want to overreact, but while y'all. continue to yap about Drake May MVP, Chief Kingdom or Colts winning a Super. Bowl, the real MVP contenders are in the. Midwest. Duh, Bears. Not only have the. coach of the year, but MVP Caleb. Williams. This is our year. Caleb looked. like he was running 40 mph around that.
edge to win that game. I mean, that was. spectacular. This is the Caleb Williams. [ __ ] from college that you wonder, is he. going to be able to do this in the NFL. when everybody's fast? Uh, yeah. in. November to win a game in the fourth. quarter. He gets the edge in a huge way. What a win for the Bears. And it was. chatted about already, but the Bears do. a lot of coming back, too. So, I think. the resolve and the grit of that team. are certainly settling in. And every. time we see the locker room afterwards, they're real deal. Hey, the Bears are. the real deal. And Ben Johnson is too, AJ.
>> Yeah, they are. And I mean, I think if. you are a Bears fan, you got to be most. excited. Yeah. They didn't a Bears. offense didn't do a whole lot and then. what six seven minutes to go in the. fourth quarter and they absolutely come. alive and Caleb he had a huge what I. think 90 some yard drive to to lead him. back like when it matters it seems like. Caleb absolutely steps up. >> for the yeah [applause] backto-back. games on Caleb in this offense I believe. y'all four game-winning drives this. season and yeah to your point he looks. fast as [ __ ]. >> fast as [ __ ] that edge was outrageous. because you just assume it's terrible.
grass as well you assume that the field. is terrible so the ability to get out. there making throws. And the locker. room, can't stress this enough, the. locker room is awesome in Chicago. They. like each other. It is very evident that. they like each other. Maybe they go on a. run in this NFC North and do their. thing. Let's go to the next. overreaction, shall we? This is from BM. at Bull Data. # I don't want to. overreact, but the Ravens are going to. the Super Bowl for real this time. And. after yesterday, I can't wait to watch. old man Rogers and the Steelers hopes. and dreams burn to ash while we slow.
roast them over the fire we made with. Mr. Steve's pingpong tables. Love this. Now listen, butter and the entire. Baltimore Ravens favi have to be. beginning of the season. It was tough. for Ravens fans. >> Oh my god. Their defense was the worst. in the league. People were pounding. them. The offense couldn't do anything. We're supposed to be good. We're one and. five. What the [ __ ] Sports books were. like, just wait. Just wait. Just wait. And now we're at the point this Ravens. team is going to win the AFC North and. the Ravens are probably going to go on a.
on a run in the playoffs. Debbut, did we. expect this from the amount of talent on. the team? What are your thoughts? >> Uh, we expect the Ravens to be an. absolute wagon coming into the season, but honestly, at this point in the. season, I would not put them in a SUPER. BOWL CONTENDER. >> WHOA. I'LL PUT I'LL PUT them right in. the bucket with the Buffalo Bills. unbelievable quarterbacks, MVP talents, but just what the team has done around. them up until this point, I don't see. them really being real down the stretch. And that can change when you have that. type of talent and you have what I think. good coaches on both sidelines, that can.
definitely change. But if I had to pick. right now, if I had to only pick, let's. say, five teams that could realistically. win the Super Bowl this season, the. Baltimore Ravens wouldn't be in that top. five. >> You can make the argument that the. biggest loss for any team this year has. been Matabuk for Baltimore. without him. in the middle, their defense just isn't. the same. Like, let alone run stop, you. know, and, you know, pass rush and. stuff. He's like one of their leaders on. that defense with Rocoan Smith and Kyle. Hamilton. So, without him is one thing,
but, you know, they're going to be just. fine. >> Still the odds on favorite to win the. AFC North have been for a while. That's. only growing. And, uh, yeah, we shall. see if they're able to work it out. Let's go to the next overreaction from. ATL Josh at Jracken24. # I don't want to. overreact, but the Falcons are dead. Pennix is trash. Raheem is clueless. And. clearly Arthur Blank's kids need to take. over for them to ever be successful. A. mildly competent coach and Matt Ryan out. of retirement would have this team in. the playoffs. AJ, your thoughts?
>> Uh, I don't know if I fully agree with. this overreaction. I mean, the Falcons. are one of those teams, too, like the. they ride the roller coaster. I feel. like they absolutely could have won, but. uh you know I guess teams until you get. over that hump and you to prove that you. are like in the next tier you those are. the games you win. I think the Falcons. obviously let this one slip away. >> Nine. Yeah, they were never going to win. that game. Okay. They were never never. going [laughter] to win that game out. there. Uh the Colts were going to win. that one the entire time. But I will say. this, Falcons were playing good. Like. Falcons were playing very good that I. mean that defense was everywhere. >> Their defense is relentless. Yeah, they.
their defense they how I don't know how. many sacks they got. Ton of sacks and. tons of pressure. like they can. obviously stopping the run is another. issue. >> Guys bleeding from his mouth. Guy's. bleeding from his mouth at quarterback. You know, obviously Jonathan Taylor runs. for 250. So that kind of goes against. everything about saying they have a good. defense. >> This is so great. >> But Daniel Jones mouth is bleeding cuz. he was getting hit. I mean the Atlanta. Falcons played good football I thought. in the morning which is why I was so. excited about the win. I'm like we. caught the Atlanta Falcons on a day. where they were playing very well. Like. they were playing very offensively. I.
thought obviously you have some changes. you have to make. Penn made a couple. good throws, missed a couple that. weren't good. Some bad decisions took. place, but I thought the Falcons were. playing good. So, whenever we get to. win, I'm like excited about it, and then. all anybody said was it was the Falcons. It was the Falcons. It's like it's a. [ __ ] NFL team. >> It's a good team. >> Yeah, >> it's an NFL team. >> They are a good team. I think the Colts. are going to the Colts. That's a game. that maybe in the past they lose. Don't. you think a game like that when you're. not, you don't know how to win, you're. not used to winning, those are the games. you let slip away and you think about. after the season, oh, what could have. been. No, the Colts figured it out and.
they got a win and you get to have a. nice fun long uh plane ride home. obviously. >> Oh, that had to be so much better than. [ __ ] Falcon. >> Every Can you imagine every coach and. player just so happy they won? Like, oh. yeah. >> Well, we flew back to London after a. loss. I was on about 170 milligrams cuz. I had all stuff. But. >> yeah, it was an interesting vibe on the. way back. >> I didn't know we're going through the. actual airport. We're going through. Heathrow. >> What? >> Can't go through Heathrow. They got actual scanners there, right? Yeah. Oh, no. I've seen locked up.
abroad. Got to make these disappear. All right, I'm just got to eat them all. >> I'm going to throw them away. Well, there's a cop literally sitting right. next to the trash can up there in the. front of us. All right, Vinnie, you want to help me here? What. do you need to do? I need to make all. these disappear by when? How far is the airport? We're five. minutes out. We got five minutes to make. this disappear. >> Jesus.
>> I don't know, bud. All right, [ __ ] it. Gone. As soon as we get there, off the. bus, right in the check-in, long line to. get our bags through there and just. every moment that passes, I'm just. starting to take off to a different. altitude. In Venitary's like, I got you, buddy. I'll get you in a plane. Thank. you. [laughter]. >> And boarding pass wasn't there. >> Yeah. So, then we go through the thing. My bag obviously gets selected. Okay. Okay, they check my bag. So, I have to. go wait around a thing. Vinnie's like, "I'll wait with you." Thank you, sir. [ __ ] gone. Eyes have no idea what my.
eyes look like. Everybody sees it in my. eyes every day, I think. So, you know, could be anything. Was so loaded with. excuses. I'm tired. Super tired. We just. play a full football game. >> [ __ ]. >> Yeah. >> Whole thing. I was going through it all. Especially in that moment. You're going. through everything I do. >> And my immediate thought is, "Oh, no. I. left some in the bag somewhere. There's. some some in that bag somewhere." I ate. a lot though. I don't know. But maybe. there's some in that bag. They go. through. Turns out it was just like. toothpaste or something. Like you can't. have this. I'm like, "Yeah, I know. You. want me to eat it?" [laughter] So then.
uh kind of go back, go all the way to. our gate. I don't have a boarding pass. somewhere in the process. I lost my. boarding pass, so I have no idea where. that is. They have to print out another. one at the thing. So I'm standing at the. thing. >> Everybody of the Indianapolis Colts is. boarding the [ __ ] plane. >> I'm just standing. >> after a loss, too. That's a much. different situation after a loss than it. was. You see Pat over there, too? Oh. [ __ ]. >> What happened? I'm not getting arrested. Yeah. >> If you win, it's a funny if it's if you. win, it's funny. And they're fistbumping. you and stuff. You lose, you're like, "Just head down." Everyone just like,
"Oh, here we go.". >> And I think there's starting to be some. buzz about what was possibly taking. place there. You know, shout out to. Venitary. He never left me. Venitary sat. over there. He was making fun of me. while everybody else is making fun of. me. This guy lost his boarding pass. I'm. like, "Venny, shut the [ __ ] up. [laughter]. >> I could be trying to get some gum over. here or something like that." He goes, "Everybody kind of sees it." You know, so it was a whole scene for us. And then. on the plane, obviously, we just lost. So, it's just like you leave second. because you lost in the international. game. >> and also it's a long ass flight back and. it's like the next week's [ __ ] because.
everything it's just. >> winning that game has to be so much. better.
