The Pat McAfee Show Live | Monday April 13th 2026
Here. we.
For real? Oh no. Let's go.
[ __ ]. state of. today.
Stop. You got. >> in Berkeley, California. >> You got it.
This one's for three. AJ Hawk. $5,000. HEY,
HEY, HEY. You make me watch my hands up. My hands. up all again now.
USA, USA, USA.
Come on in. >> Oh my god. a.
up a. me. Hey.
The following program is a collection of. students talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic, informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss, or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further.
>> Hey, let's go. >> This show sticks. And the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful. >> Makabe on the line with a gorgeous. assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers. You. >> stop. Damn it. >> Your friend, tell a friend something. nice could change their life.
Hello, beautiful people and welcome to. our hum. The Thunderdome on this. overreaction mania week Monday, April. 13, 2026. This program begins now. >> Sports are the absolute greatest. And. boy, what a weekend we had. And it's not. just the weekend. That was fantastic. Congratulations, Rory Mroy. North. >> a guy uh from the Big 10 of Ireland, Northern Ireland. Uh which I did tell. Greg Seni, the commissioner of the SEC,
that if Rory wins this, I do believe he. would claim North, which is uh obviously. Big 10 World. So that'd be another. national championship as we had a chance. to have dinner together while Denver. beat Wisconsin in the national. championship of hockey where there was. potentially a joke made about maybe. Denver joining the SEC because Big 10. loses in national championship there. just know that Seni had a left and a. right back for everything and he is. still throwing 108 on the tape for. everything. Uh but on that note, Rory. special weekend. I mean an absolutely.
special weekend for Rory Mroy. He does. something for the first time since Tiger. in 2002 and also the first time since. that exact tournament. Rory ends up. winning. Scotty Sheffller ends up in. second place. That's the world one verse. world two up at one and two at Augusta. like Phil and Tiger were in 2001 2002 or. whatever the case. You know, whenever. you talk about a sweet weekend of golf. to basically kick off, you know, this is. another spring in the south. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. It's uh basically another notch of. another year of life with family down.
there in this southern paradise that is. Augusta National, which I will say. >> I did get a chance to experience. >> And. >> I will tell you what, a lot of anxiety. with the whole no phone thing. >> Sure. >> Okay. Pregnant wife, obviously. a lot. going on in life obviously and uh also. like just kind of it's going to be an. issue whenever I retire. I'm going to. have to go do some stuff to get away. from the phone. Feel like I have to. always just kind of know what's going on. everywhere basically because I'm going. to have to talk about it probably if.
it's happening in the sports world. So. having to put that bad boy down to go in. there was certainly a moment with. myself. There was a look in the mirror. like yo. come on this thing doesn't own you. You. know like I had to do one of those like. had to do like a real conversation. And. I plugged that thing in, flipped it. over, and I turned and I went Amish. Okay. And I walked right out there. Then. we got put into a Sprinter van that had. broken um uh blinds. >> Okay. >> So, they were all done. Bluetooth was. the radio setup. We don't have anything.
to Bluetooth. We were in a pitch black. basic Sprinter van. Just put my phone. down, get into a Sprinter van, no sound, no nothing to do. >> Squid Games. >> ve very much. Yeah. Me and Foxy having. full conversations about we're the. dumbest of all time. >> Oh, yeah. How how are we adults that we. have lived the life that we've lived? We've got a chance to experience so many. things. We've got a chance to meet so. many different types of people. How are. we getting bamboozled right now in. Augusta, Georgia? We fell for it. Hook, line, and sinker. There was a little bit. of an uneasiness. There was an anxiety. level that was uh pretty high strictly.
because of the lack of being able to. communicate at all times. Like I don't. know how we used to do it. Like I was a. part of life whenever we didn't have. this. It's crazy what life is now versus. what it isn't. And then we pull on to. the property and then we meet DKima. And. I'll tell you what, Dimma had the most. energy that I've ever seen in my life. Welcome to Augusta National. You're. going to have the time of your life. Scanned us in there. We walked in there. and then we had no idea what to do. They. pointed us at a house. They were like, "You're going that way right there." And. he's like, "Sweet." We walk in, there's a right, there is a left, there.
is a straight, and everything is nice. And uh we just ask, "Hey, what are we. supposed to do?" We go down there and. then you there'll be a whole area to. eat, drinks, whatever you need and then. the course will be on the other side. Thank you so much. We go there. We go in. the room. Holy hell, there's a lot of. people. Okay. A lot of people. So then. we go to bar immediately just to try to. get some answers. Hey, we'll take. definitely Jack and Diet if that's. possible. Uh the Aelia is the drink. you'll want to have. >> You're right. Sure. Thank you so much. I'll have one of those. Drink that. And. also, where are we right now? They start. explaining the room they're wearing. There's two green jackets in here. currently. If you look around, you'll be.
able to see them obviously having. conversations. Don't interrupt, but you. should feel comfortable talking to them. They're very excited to be here as are. you. Thank you so much for being our. guest. Whole breakdown on this entire. place. So, we get these two Aelia. drinks. They're pink, okay? They taste. delightful. I have no idea what's in. them. They were pretty boozy, but not. too boozy. Tasted delightful. Know. you're going to be walking a lot. We. walk out of there and we're just off. into this thing. Maybe walked 14 miles. Okay. I have no idea. That [ __ ] is like. this. And that [ __ ] is like this. The. whole place is Pittsburgh. I had no idea. that it was as much as it was. Foxy and.
I got a chance to see it all, live it. all, do it all, hear it all. Lowry hits. a hole in one. We were a fair way over. that thing. Just like whenever you're. watching on TV and there's a shot that. happens elsewhere. The roar that came. through like the haulers down there. through the hills. It was insane. And. there's no camera. There's no there's no. uh TVs out there. All you got is a. leaderboard. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, you hear roar and then you got. to get eyes to leaderboard and then. leaderboard will do something. Was that. a big time birdie putt from somebody. because you can't really see it. Holy.
[ __ ] That was a hole in one for Lowry. Big time. pop then across the rest of. the course. So when a leaderboard. changes that provides like real moments. and you got people really interacting. with each other. We were sitting on a a. hole six on Sunday and the place was. packed. It's a par three that comes in. there. Very crucial uh hole there. Rory. bogeies this just two holes after he. double bogeied. We saw lead leaderboard. Rory go from 12 to 10 place lit up where. we were sitting which was on the other. side. It felt like we were back in time. but it felt like we were really in the. moment. Beers flowing, conversations.
happening. We were there for like 45. minutes to an hour. Watched a bunch. Almost got hit by a ball that came. flying in over top of us. Saw Scotty. Sheffller. Saw the boys walk by. But. what I really experienced was all the. Southerns. Okay. >> Sure. >> That they have been doing this just like. college football for as long as they've. possibly been allowed to do it. Everybody that's there treats it very. much like. >> lucky to be on the adjusted national. >> grounds here. Like thankful to be here. Then they all have tell stories about. what they've seen and what they haven't. heard. Then you got people that are able. to break down the green better than the.
caddy. Maybe everybody has left this. short. Some guy says over here with long. white hair as the they're walking up, we're boozing together. His family's. boozing with us. We are boozing over. here. There's some corporate entity. that's worth billions of dollars sitting. here having the time of their life. because they're allowed to do whatever. It was just like a trip back in time to. a great time, but we couldn't really. follow everything as closely. So then as. soon as you get out of there, you get to. your phone, you go, "Holy hell, Scotty. Sheffller's only seven back." And then. you go, "Holy hell, Scotty Sheffller.". Not happy about the Friday afternoon. conditions. Yeah.
>> Holy hell, Scotty Sheffller's about to. go on a tear. Who else could maybe do. it? Well, Cam Young, friend of the. program, he might go bananas. We didn't. know Tyrell Hatton was going to do his. thing. When his name was moving up the. leaderboard, people were going crazy. Morawa, people were going crazy. Sergio. Garcia, he actually went crazy. >> Actually went crazy. So, it was just. like we were very ler uh lucky and. honored to be there and we let everybody. know that. We're very thankful for the. hospitality. And I think the Southerns. watch our show. >> Nice. >> Okay. >> I think they do. I think they do. I. think they know us. >> And that was a very cool That was a very. cool part of it all. And the.
interactions are so like. >> because you ain't got [ __ ] you know? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> All you got is interactions. Real ones. >> Hey, we're all we got. Yeah. >> Hey, we're all we got out here. How do. you think he's going to hit? Well, everybody that's hit from here hit it a. bit right and they need to be aiming a. little left. So then the golfer walks. out. We watched uh what was that guy. name? Pangi maybe. P E N G. This guy put. it into the straw right in front of us. We're watching this guy like figuring. out his life or whatever. He bends over. underneath the tree, bangs that thing. like perfectly out around thing and we. go, "Hey, baby, pang." I have no idea if. that's his actual name or not. It's just.
like we're a foot and a half away. It. was a great experience. We're thankful. for the hospitality. And Rory Maroy did. something which was uh piss everybody. off seemingly all weekend. >> Yep. >> Hey, how are you going to handle Sunday? Uh like I'm a Mast's champion. Like I. have a green jacket and I'm going to. know what to do. This prick. >> I hate this guy. I hate everything he's. saying. You know, I actually haven't. gone to the tournaments or whatever. I. just have been playing up here. I've. been able to put let I've been able to. watch my daughter go to school. >> It's been a lot of fun. And then uh now. that I'm able to play here because I won. a green jacket here and I'm a member.
here. I've been playing here the last. three weeks instead of playing at the. other tournaments. People didn't love. that he said that. I think he was just. saying like, "Hey, I get to play at. Augusta, so I'm going to go do that.". And he figured the place out. I had a. chance to listen to a guy talk uh the. night on Saturday night who's been. covering the Masters for 50 years, and. he said that the way this guy was. playing throughout the beginning of this. tournament with the lead was ass. He's. like, "This guy's his swing his. sequencing right now is off. He his time. he gave like a 50 thing like breakdown. on him and he's in a lead." So I or he's.
one back, whatever it was. Uh no, he's. in a lead. And it was like uh the. conversation about like Rory has not. played good golf at all and he's still. in a lead. They're starting to talk. about him as if he's. >> Oh yeah. >> They're starting to talk about Rory. like, "Hey, this might become the Mroy. Masters." I mean, Freddy Couples. actually said, "Well, Rory might never. lose here again." Yeah. And then. everybody was like, "Uh, what if that's. real?" And then he does what he does, not even playing his best. And then he. comes out afterwards. I know every part. of this course. I know every part of. this course. You could easily do that if. you played it a bunch of times. And I.
think playing it, if you're able to play. it, uh, is probably a lot easier. Uh, because there's a walkway thing across. these fairways with paint. Okay? It's. called crossways, I guess, probably not. walkways. They have the crossways. And. it's like Shabuya in Japan as people are. walking across. Okay. as they're trying. to get from place to place. Foxy this. [ __ ]. >> Okay, great. >> Oh no, >> he embarrassed us. >> What? Foxy was [ __ ] Okay, I'm. telling you. Unbelievable. Obviously was.
a packed house trying to This is what we. do. Foxy just goes ahead and just walks. to the left of the paint. Yeah. >> Okay. Just walks left of the paint. Casually strolling, holding a drink, glasses on. He owns a place. Casually. strolling across. >> I wanted to walk on the actual grounds. >> So then you get a guy. Okay. Few steps. into that ass. basically with his eyes, his mouth and. his hands. This guy just another patron. just guy just live. >> Thankful to be here. Yeah. Okay. Lucky. to be here. This is the masters, you.
know. Welcome to it. He goes within the. paint. >> And it just keeps walking. Didn't work. there, anything like that. And I'm like, the reason why is cuz uh you don't get. to experience that is basically how they. feel. But you get to experience this. This is like a lucky thing. And we could. sense it and everything is good. Everything's got a lot of beer. >> What? >> A lot of sun. Hol sun's still throwing. the fast. >> sun's away. Sitting at six there. >> Believe it, >> man. There was no trees seeming. I don't. know. I don't know if there I don't know.
or clouds, I don't think. So, you're. sitting there drenched in sweat amongst. a lot of people with no phones. >> And if you were to tell me that that's. where I would be and you ask me how am I. how am I doing? >> Yeah. >> I would say I'm [ __ ] doing terrible. if I'm in that situation, you can. definitely come get me. And I would say. it was the complete opposite. It was. such a joy of an experience. >> It was the greatest sporting event I've. ever been to for sure. And there was so. much hype going into it. I mean, Twitter. blows this thing up and I'm like, "Okay, we'll see how this actually is." And. then you get there because of the phone.
thing, Pat. I thought we might show up. for 30 minutes. You'd say, "Okay, this. is cool." And we lose. But that's that. doesn't happen because you get lost in. there. It's real. And my other big. takeaway out of this whole thing is uh. TV doesn't do the elevation any justice. I mean what those guys are putting on is. impossible. So yeah, it was cool to see. in person and I I loved every single. second of it. >> Yeah, it was it was a great Foxy knows. golf really well. So it was like a very. I was very thankful he was here cuz I'll. tell you, you get out there.
>> AJ was out there for eight hours. Couldn't find anybody. >> Yeah, exactly. There's a chance you'll. get out. Like Foxy wants to get us a. beer at one point. It was like maybe. we'll see you, dude. >> Like we have no idea if we're ever going. to see him again. We have no clue. And. if we do, it'll be at wherever the. checkpoint is to get out. The check-in. checkout thing, too, because you don't. have really any means of communication. with the outside world other than a slew. of phones, which I have seen before. I. got arrested for public intoxication. Uh, so I got one phone call. You always. like think that uh that's how it works.
It is actually how it works. How many. numbers do you know? I don't know. So. one my dad I call him that's what it. looked like. People were in line like. waiting for it and I'm like man this is. a trip back in time. >> Did you use the pay phone? >> No. There's the lines. >> or is it actual pay it's just. >> I don't know if it's a pay phone. I. think you just picked it up. This is not. your NFL event. Darius J. Butler. >> debut you picked up the game in the last. few years. Obviously become a massive. fan. Roy Macaroy special talent. That. place obviously beautiful and it feels. like everybody kind of understands its. magnitude which is why everybody got so.
mad last week about the Jason Kelsey. stuff. M you know Jason Kelsey a friend. of program we like Jason Kelsey we love. Jason Kelsey football guy doing a great. things and uh but Jason Kelsey is center. football I mean he has a good time he. enjoys his life people got immediately. pissed about it especially in the golf. they're like don't ruin Augusta it's. like after experiencing it it's like man. it does feel like they have created a. little piece of heaven down there that. they're like let's not [ __ ] this we. we've done a good job down here and uh I. respect it but I think it's why the. golfers respect it so much as well. Yeah, it's kind of the pinn it's the. pinnacle of the golf world, the golf.
game and for Rory to go back to back. I. thought he kind of killed the the drama. and excitement of it going into the. weekend having that big lead, but he did. not. Masters, it always delivers. And. look, I I love Rory. I love that he went. back to back. I was praying that he went. double bogey so he could have had to. play off of Scott. That drive goes right. >> Yeah. One verse two. But just a credit. to him just always bounced back whenever. it didn't look good. He got back on. point. The thing about, you know, that. I've picked up in golf the last few. years playing on the these same courses, the more familiar you get with them, and.
he said it after the tournament, like I. know where to miss, you know, I knew. where all the misses were. When you came. out of the bunker later on 18, you knew. he he was going to two putty to get the. win. Hated that we didn't see the putt, last putt go in, but the weekend was. amazing. >> Hey, good week to not uh to not watch. the TV version, what I heard on the internet. >> On that note, that's short. Can't you 8K. that? I mean, you can do that shot. You. can maybe get a shot that you can never. get before because you don't really have. to. >> Yeah. >> You know, you would think, >> but there might have been Remember.
>> Remember, we got to remember with live. sports, there's always a chance that the. networking or some camera like there's. always a chance that something [ __ ]. [ __ ] up. Yeah. Like just as. >> as people that have done this before, we. there's things that just could happen. that leave people like handcuffed, but. man, missing a shot in missing that. >> you knew where shot was going to be for. four minutes. You know, you saw he put. you know, you saw the putt. He knew. Yeah. Like I mean, but it happens. But. it was a great great tournament, great. finish, great drama uh down the stretch. >> He didn't miss it. >> Yeah. >> He misses that, you miss the whole.
thing. >> That's what I'm saying. If he if he. misses that and they don't have that one. and then that's not great. I mean, because it's kind of just like, okay, well, he won, you know, he should have, but but yeah, like you said, things. happen. We kind of already knew where. things were going. I mean, other than. that, it was impeccable like it always. is. >> That's toxic table at Tai Schmidt at. Boston Connor. Soon as you said that. Rory knew the course inside and out. You. heard a little over there from con man. He's he's like a there's a lot of people. on the internet. Obviously we know this. We experience this. >> Wrestling people aren't happy with me in.
that internet. And I want to let you. know you don't even know what's good for. you over there. You [ __ ] market. Okay. You don't even you don't even know. what's good for you over there. But uh. there is a portion of the internet that. is not happy with anything that Roy. Mackro had to say. But him winning right. in spite of that plus there was a book. right. So like everything that was kind. of happening and how everything he was. saying was going heel. Everything was. heel. Everything was everything was bad. for Rory outside on the internet in. there. He walked up the six. There was a. lady sitting in the front row and uh she.
goes, "Let's remember now when the champ. comes up here. This is a standing. ovation time at the Augusta at Augusta. or whatever." So Rory missed the green. He hit it back off the back side of it. and everybody as he walks stands up and. there's a lot of come on champ you know. a lot of like they literally call him. champ everywhere. So, like as he's. walking up the fairway, I think at 7, I. don't know if it was seven or eight we. saw him at uh cuz we're walking back and. cross. As he's walking up the uh the. fairway, even where there isn't the. massive crowds, there's still like. hundreds of people just kind of milling.
through every single fairway. Anytime. somebody saw Rory, it was all right, champ. Because they they like are I. think they're appreciative of the. champion when you feel obligated to. respect the champion whenever you were. on the grounds, if that makes sense. And. uh I so everything on the internet I. don't I don't think there was a lot of. that in real life. I I think in real. life there was a lot of like we. appreciate the hell out of. >> and I flipped on him. I I hated Roy. forever and like the last couple years. whatever reason that was a part of it. for sure when he came out high horsing. but the way he played you know kind of.
you know I don't I don't ne I don't. necessarily see it as Ben Hill. especially once he won the last one I. feel like he kind of went face for a lot. of us but um I've kind of been rooting. for him the last couple years just. seeing him come in talk about hey I'm. already a master champion let me go out. there and play like it I like [ __ ] like. that when you see the great golfers go. out there and show up in the biggest. moments that's what I like to see out of. athletes and be comfortable on your own. skin, talk your [ __ ] Some people going. to hate you, some people going to love. you. >> He's gone through a lot and uh feels. like he's very comfortable in between. the ropes. And I'll tell you what, once.
your thighs have touched those ropes and. you've seen these guys hit the ball, it's like I don't know how anybody. >> can get that good at golf. >> Yeah. >> You know, that's a pretty humbling. experience. I watch a guy Michael. >> Block Blockie. >> No, Blocky wasn't there. You guys. remember? He didn't get invited cuz he's. not good enough to play. >> Thor Bixon. >> That's not true. >> Was it Michael Thor Bixson? >> I don't know. It was Michael. It was. something. I don't know. We we it was. when Bubé it was like Bubé of singing. this guy with his driver. So we couldn't. really see him. It was at the first TE. whenever we first got dropped off and we.
just walked to where we saw the most. amount of people. Feels like that's what. we had to. So we're kind of like up a. hill. First T has a lot of action. >> There's a lot of action around first TE. I will say they first T is a good time. >> It's a bit noisy. I was shocked they. were hitting in that noise. >> First T is a good time. I I mean first. he where the golfers walk through. It is. a Dallas Cowboys walk in the stadium. type through the the entirety. So it's. like oh this feels like a good place to. hang and then we're watching everybody. and then we saw Xander walk out and all. these people walk out. But we watched. this guy and we should know his name.
We're sorry. A lot of people you didn't. know by the way. Boy, there's a lot of. guys on tour that you don't know. >> Definitely that they did not put on TV. >> They need to let this guy drives at. least on TV. This guy [ __ ] smoke. I I. mean just absolute nuke off the T. Just. the sound of it leaving and then. watching it just kind of like carve. through the sky and it lands and then it. disappears. I don't even know where the. hell it went. It's like, "Oh, man.". Yeah. I don't know if I'm ever. going to win one of those. It's a. different game right there.
>> Yeah. I don't know if I'm joining us. now, ladies and gentlemen, is a man. who's a two-time US Open champion and a. man who just got done covering his 50th. Masters. I had the opportunity to listen. to him talk on Saturday night. It was my. first time really listening to him give. a speech, although we've seen him on TV. for ESPN for as long as we've been. alive. Spectacular breakdown of what was. to come on Sunday. Basically predicted. it 100% accurately uh to us. What came. true is obviously through the mouth of a. guy who knows Augusta inside and out and. is an absolute gentleman. And I'll tell. you what, he looks damn good in person.
He walks in, there's an aura that. follows him. Ladies and gentlemen, Andy. North. >> there. Appreciate it. >> Hey Andy, >> great to Saturday night. >> Hey, it was great to see you. You you. stood up. You know, there's a lot of. speakers that evening. A lot of people. are doing great. You stood up. Incredible suit. Obviously, just got off. TV. Had a little purple uh checker board. thing, you know, you know, loose paint. kind of comes in there. Everybody soon. as they see him, holy [ __ ] that's Andy. North here. You know, the whole room. basically stops. Stands up, gives a.
speech. And what you were talking about. uh for the tail end of it whenever. somebody asked you who you thought was. going to win, you said Rory has not been. playing good golf at all. Basically, he. his sequencing was off, his timing was. off, he was all over the place, and he's. still doing what he's doing. You thought. there was a chance that he'd be able to. play better golf. What did you see from. Rory on Sunday? And like Freddy Couples. said, is Roy going to win this thing. forever? Is this is this what this is. now because he's able to just play it. all year round? Yeah, I I thought uh Rory had a real.
good practice session right behind us, right behind our set, which is on the. the practice area there. Uh he was the. only guy on the on the practice team. late Saturday night. And I I thought. that he looked like he was getting. things back together. And that's the. most important thing. You can't leave. the golf course feeling really bad. You've got to figure it out and have. some positive vibes leaving uh you know, so you can sleep that night. a lot of. mainly. Um, but I thought that, you.
know, he got off to a little shaky start. and then he hit an unbelievable shot at. seven and and then and an unbelievable. shot at eight to get the ball on the. green to make a couple birdries. And. it's like all of a sudden he kind of. found his his rhythm, his mojo, and he. really hit the ball well that next. stretch of holes and went from three. behind to back near the lead again. And. then the key shot I thought the whole. tournament was that. >> oh so close to hearing what was.
>> basically the last five or six shots he. hit on the range Saturday night was that. shot kind of a little squeeze fade hit. it in the middle of the green. Let the. thing cut in once it got on the ground. on the 12th green it was spinning that. direction so it got closer to the hole. and he knocked the putt in and all of a. sudden it looked like he was in control. of the tournament again. Yeah, control. of the ball, control of the tournament, and obviously control of the second. nine. Um, he talked the night before.
about after a shaky Saturday, what he'll. be doing in the morning. And his quote. kind of drew up a little bit of uh. backlash when he said, "Been there, done. that." Go ahead, Tone. >> Yeah, Andy. Obviously, you know, Rory, he the second nine on Friday was. unbelievable. And he he takes that huge. lead going into Saturday and then, you. know, doesn't play his best on Saturday. And then you talked about the first nine. on Sunday. How hard is that for a golfer. when things are going like that and you. look at the leaderboard and you're not. at the top anymore just to to keep the.
composure and then you talked about. seven, eight and then the shot on 12. How hard is that for a golfer to kind of. reel things back in and just kind of. keep his composure there? >> Well, I think I think the biggest thing. is that's why when he was talking about. I've done this before, you know, you you. understand how your body is going to. react. you understand how to handle. certain shots on that golf course. You. understand what the wind's going to do. Um, and having the experience, you know, hey, I'm sure Pat had the, you know, you.
got a big kick at the end of the game. Heck, I've made these things before. You. have to convince yourself that it's. going to work. And, and he did that. And. obviously a super talented guy. Uh, he. didn't drive the ball well at all last. week. He didn't drive the ball. particularly well the year before. Uh he. had the ball in the woods a bunch. He. played a lot of great shots off the pine. straw to get it back in play, but but. that's what veteran top of the world.
players are able to do. >> How about that bunker shot on 18, Andy? Just the thought of, you know, he sprays. it to the right. Only thing we can't do. here is double. He's off to a rough. start off the T- box, then he ends up in. the bunker. Uh sorry, I don't know what. the right word is. Is that the right. word? I hope I said the right. >> got it. Got it. >> Nailed it. I know there there's a. special name for it. But then him. getting out of that. What do you think. his mindset was going in there? Just. what you just said, like I've been. there. I've done that. How tight do you. think that club got for Rory? Do you. think Rory feels okay in there?
>> It was he he left it in the bunker you. wanted. I mean, he left it in the. perfect place. Um the angle coming out. of that front bunker. You've got that. slope behind the hole. So if if the. lie's not really good, you can't spin it. very much. You still can use the slope. to get it closer to the hole. Basically, all you had to do is just chunk it up on. the green and everything was going to be. fine. It was going to stay in that low. area. Worst case scenario, he's going to. have a 15-footer for for par that he. needed two pie. So, uh it was a pretty.
good spot to be. You didn't want to be. it in in that right bunker. Uh now. you're going back down the hill. That's. a totally different animal. But he had a. great shot around the trees and left it. in a really good spot. And once he got. it in that bunker, I think he probably. knew it was all over. >> People are going to be pissed to hear. this. Uh, but I got to putt on uh not. Augusta Greens, but another place that. is within the Augusta National Real. Estate Greens that are set up exactly.
like the Augusta. >> Burkman's. >> I don't know what I'm allowed to say. Thank you for saying that. You've been. there for 50 years. That is unbelievable. over there. this place. They built a. resort on the property. Oh yeah, >> they just built a resort. They built a. vacation resort for Augusta with on the. property and it's all it's unbel it's uh. it was outrageous. Then they got tour. guys for me to go on a little putting. excursion. >> Okay. >> Which would match the putts. >> Same step meter. >> That'd be Yeah. >> And then who's who's guiding the tour?
PGA pros are doing it from all around. the country offering you lessons while. you're everything there was just like. this is the smartest this is the. smartest everything I did it was like. this is the smartest and I'll tell you. what no for putts okay no for rolling. fast. >> rolling no for puts that's all you need. to know for putts the classic for put. >> you believe how fast the greens were. >> so that we talked about this last night. actually at uh T-Bones shout to T-Bones. steak uh down there in Augusta the uh.
>> that's where you went last night. >> I was invited. I was invited. I was. invited. Okay. I heard it was the spot. Some drunk guy told me it was the spot. We went there. It was the spot. I mean, the two owners of these two kids who got. this uh business passed down from their. father obviously, rest in peace at 26, 28 years old. One has this phenomenal. mullet. Love that. >> And this other one has beautiful. mustache. And uh the vibes in there at. the ribs. >> I mean absolutely spectacular. We had a. blast. While we were in there, we were. just talking about like the entire. situation of Augusta as a whole and how.
I completely understood why uh like our. show I understood beforehand just. because of the lore of it all, but after. going to it like I completely understand. why we should never have our show there, okay? Like I I just Andy, I I want to. let that be known. Like I I very much. got that messaging, but it's like it it. does hold on to like this special folk. So like me even saying I was putting at. that Burkman's green which is like this. beautiful area there. People are going. to be pissed cuz I shouldn't experience.
that. How do you think they've been able. to maintain it? Like you've been a part. of this for 50 years. Has it always been. held in this regard and that's like the. way it's been passed down passed down. Was there a turning point for this thing. to become as big and as uh as oh I don't. even know how. >> coveted. >> Coveted. Yeah. like has it always been. like this for 50 years? Because I'm from. the north, obviously. I know the Masters. cuz I watch on TV. I watch Tiger do his. thing down there and it's awesome. Green. jacket, let's do it. But I just much. like college football, I don't I don't. think if you're not really around it, I. don't think you really can I that's kind.
of my thought on college football and it. felt very similar with that entire. thing. It's like obviously I'm the. doofus and I don't understand that this. goes back so long. Is that is that what. I was missing you think? Is that what uh. the rest of the world maybe misses? And. why do you think it is so uh grand if. you will? It's been it's been special. from day one. Um they've done a great. job of creating a a culture tradition. there that's unlike any other tournament. we play. And. I think in the last 15 or 20 years.
they've even expanded it more so with. the addition of like the Burkman's. Uh. they've purchased a lot of property. around the golf course to make the. parking better, to make the hospitality. better. It's just an absolute first. class event. Um, you know, I I've been. lucky enough to travel all over the. world and do a lot of sporting events. The only sporting event I think is even. close to it is Wimbledon. And it's the. same kind of culture, the same kind of. class. You don't have advertising.
splashed all over the place. It's about. creating the best event you can have. And August has done an amazing job of. doing that. >> Yeah, I was lucky to be a part of it, as. was Foxy. And uh if you ever get the. opportunity, I think you definitely. should. Little anxiety leaving the. phone, you know, as an internet person. as uh as that that was certainly. something. But then I realized like no, this is actually like a beautiful, >> you know, obviously missed and was. wondering what was going on at certain. times while you're walking up another. mountain. Okay, you're walking up. another mountain and you're uh you.
didn't wear the proper socks for the. shoes that you're wearing. So your pinky. toe is. >> just. in it. >> I mean, I'll never be able to do a marathon. That's way too long. >> That's way too long. But whenever they. talk about the abuse that your feet take. in those things, I think I felt it. I. think I felt it on uh Saturday more so. than Sunday, but Saturday it was just. rubbing raw basically out there. But it. didn't care. Didn't matter. Just got to. go see it, got to go feel it, everything.
like that. Okay, let's talk about some. of the storylines coming out of this. year's Masters with Andy North. 50 years. at the Masters and I'll tell you, I. don't know if he does a speaking tour. I. don't know if he does. I don't I should. have asked before you came on here. >> Nailed it. >> So good. >> Okay. >> I mean, I'm telling you, just. >> I'll send you a percentage. Thanks, Pat. >> No problem. I I I don't know what you're. charging. Should be more and uh we can. make up the difference. But let's talk. about in the history of golf now what. this weekend did. Go ahead, Debb.
>> Yeah, Andy. Now Roy Rory has been a. phenom from day one and he's kind he's. living up to expectations now. Back-to-back Masters win gets him up to. six majors. Uh does this firmly put him. in the top 10 golfers of all time in. your book? >> Yeah, he's getting pretty darn close. Um. >> you know, we may we kind of laughed. about Freddy saying heck, he might win. the rest of them, but the golf course is. so perfectly built for him. the type of. shots he likes to hit. I wouldn't be a. bit surprised he wins multiple more and.
then now you're talking about you get to. that eight major 10 major area now. you're one of the top 10 that have ever. played the game. Uh amazing talent and. you know you it's like you you get. enough success that it frees you up a. little bit that all of a sudden you're. just on a on a roll and and I wouldn't. be a bit surprised if he he goes on a. super roll here for a while. All right, Andy, you've been on a Super Bowl for 50. years at least. I don't know. I assume. longer. I don't know what you did before.
that. Uh I assume you're great. I assume. an unbelievable run then as well. We. appreciate you taking time today and uh. making our show much more prestigious. >> Yep. >> Thank you. >> Well, I appreciate it. Uh anytime. I. love it. Love watching you guys and you. make it fun. You're making sports fun. So, see you guys later. God, >> you're the man. Ladies and gentlemen, Andy North. >> He said uh of the sort to me and Foxy at. the dinner. He actually held up the next.
speaker a little bit. >> trying to get over to us and say very. kind things to us. >> It was awesome. >> Was the next speaker the one you guys. loved? >> Mhm. >> Yes. >> Let's move along. >> Wow. Okay. >> There was a long speech that was given. I learned a lot about a lot. >> Nice. >> I've never been at one of those events. Shut up in a tank top. Obviously, that's. not how this is going. They're they're. hosting a dinner at a house. >> A tank top. >> If it's at a house, you. >> a house party. >> It was A HOUSE. IT WAS a house party. >> A house party. >> It was a house.
>> They knew what was coming, I think. Right. I got invited to this thing. It's. at a house. I just walked. >> Was there a dress code? If there was no. dress code, then you're fine. Is it the. Shackalious tank top? >> No. I I can't wear yellow. He should. have known that. That was rude. He put. me on TV. >> What was What was Foxy wearing? >> Uh, he had buttoned down. Yeah. But down. >> thing. He came downstairs. To be clear, he came downstairs. I looked at him. I. said, "All right.". >> Oh, no. >> I uh I did think there was a chance it. would be a problem. It was a house.
>> Okay. >> It wasn't on property. It was off. property, which you should see the. business they're running down there. >> Yeah. >> Actually, funny enough, I was while. watching the broadcast looking for all. this stuff on the side just to see if I. could see where. >> they don't show you guys. No, they. don't. They don't. No, they don't. It. was incredible the amount of humans we. met. And you know what it when I found. out. >> T-Mobile? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Got the best coverage ever. >> Do they? >> Have you seen the map? >> No way. >> Have you seen the map?
>> Buffalo Wild, man. Buffalo White the. medium. We love that. >> Mhm. >> I'll tell you what. We'll take Coors. Light ice cold. >> Are those Rockies blue? I've heard they. when they are delight is going to be. pumped about. >> Yeah, I will uh this the amount of. humans that are kind of just roaming. around there and who the humans are is. absolutely insane. Imagine. >> we do love Buffalo Wild. >> Always will. >> Miller Kors that whole company.
>> You name me. >> Let's pivot away from golf and shilling. for anybody that we don't have deals. with. >> It was nice to meet people though. >> I don't do those things. >> Yeah, those events. It was fun. I don't. do those. Uh. >> T-Mobile's got Starlink on the phone. I. heard. >> I heard that as well. >> Starlink on a phone. >> You know that was the first 5G network. >> What? >> Yeah. Nobody knows that. Everybody. thinks T-Mobile ass. Guess what? T-Mobile allegedly I don't have it yet. Not. >> Yeah, I think Annaway told us that if I. remember correctly.
>> Yeah, it did this. >> I tell I learned a lot about T-Mobile. You know, whenever you're whenever you. don't have a phone, >> what are we talking about? I'm a. naturally curious individual, you know. So whenever somebody brings something. up, we're both stuck here. Okay, let's. see where we can go here. Great. conversation here. Multiple years in a. row. >> Can't back check either. So you kind of. just take everything as gospel be like, "OH, >> HOLY [ __ ] I. >> REALLY BEEN sleeping on this.". >> Yeah. So then more people came to group,
right? Because remember, you don't know. when people are coming when. Okay. You. have no idea who's popping into your. life. It's a trip back in time. So then. as more people come, they catch a tail. end of me going, "So you're telling me. T-Mobile, not S?" So then there's. somebody who is, I don't know, the head. of C somethingo of some other that does. something with them and they're like, "What? That is not what we're talking. about right now." It's like, "No, that's. a good thing. That's a good thing." And. then now you got more people. It's like. a uh.
>> it was incred. It was a trip back in. time. Yeah, >> it was literally a trip. Every single. detail is thought of throughout the. whole weekend. It It was perfect. >> It's cra It's crazy. It It was really. That's why everybody says it's so much. better because it's just like you're. It's a completely different world. Yeah. >> Like you're just in a completely. different world down there. And. everybody was so kind. And to the. southerns, >> I appreciate our hospitality down there. >> That's what they do. >> And I'll tell you that Aelia Aelia. drink. What's in it? >> The drink. >> Remarkable. >> Very good. >> What was that other one? Uh spiked. Um,
>> we had an Arnold Palmer. >> Yeah, >> shout out. That was good. >> The beers. There's a lot of beer. drinking down there. I tell you, you're. walking a lot. >> Aelia is vodka, lemonade, and a bit of. grenadine. >> Can I say something about the. sandwiches? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> Keep your [ __ ] mouth shut. >> Shut up. >> Oh no. What the hell? >> You would know a good sandwich if it had. smacked you in the mouth. >> Yeah. What do you know, you young little. entitled bump? >> I won't say it. >> Guy was walking down the fairways by. himself.
I like you. >> inside. >> I'll tell you, he was inside the paint. >> So mad. >> Thanks, Foxy. That guy hated that I was. here with a lot of I can't believe they. let you in. >> Oh, so many of those. >> Oh, they let you in here. >> Yeah, it was a lot of that. I was like, yeah, a lot of that. A lot of good. interactions of those things, you know, whether it's like a one pop, two pop. that now we're off and running. That was. fun. Joining us now is a man who I'll. tell you what, I'm excited that we got. to see him on the internet. Mhm.
>> See a picture of him. He's got one of. his super duper outfits on. This guy's. king of fashion. Nobody really respects. what he's doing, but whenever he goes. into his closet and puts something on, he's telling you what's in. Okay? It's. not about you telling him what's in. >> Bingo. That's right. >> He's thermostat, not a thermometer. He's. setting the tone. Okay? He's not telling. what it is. He's got a fresh new fit on. They put them on. He speaks to the fans. Hey, don't get used to this. We're. coming back. Cuts a babyface promo. And. all I want to say is this guy's a fat.
ass bull. >> Who's saying that? >> They're saying he's fat. So. >> they got a nickname for the guy on the. sheet who I'd says I'm coming. >> Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now is. a man who led the Indiana Pacers to game. seven of the finals against Oklahoma. City Thunder last year. He was on pace. to score 75 points in a game seven of an. NBA finals and lead the Pacers to an NBA. title. Mhm. >> pay to skills. >> We have been on the road to recovery. ever since. The Indiana Pacers have. earned a lottery pick and he is on the.
mend to saving this town's basketball. team back to its place that it should. be, which is on top, ladies and. gentlemen. Fatso, as the internet says, Harry. >> called you fat. >> What an intro. Fatso. >> Yeah, but but did you hear the whole. game seven thing? 75 points. championship. You're going to lose that. through the internet. The rest of that. was good. The rest of it was good. >> I'm just doing reporting, I think is. what they call it in the world that we. live in currently. I'm just telling you. what was being said. They called you. fat. I thought the fit was fantastic.
I'd like to let you know that. So, they. asked me about the fit check with the. eyeballs. Indiana Pacer social team. Thank you for putting capital letters on. TNH on Tyrese Halle Burton. I don't know. why everybody else on the internet's not. doing it anymore, but I love the fit. And that's not what they were talking. about. Everyone's talking about you. standing comfortably. Okay. >> Whoa. SOMEBODY DID THIS. >> SOMEBODY did this, Tyrese. Okay. And I. don't like it. I WAS AT THE Masters and. I didn't see this until later. I feel. like I would have went to your defense. and said, "This guy's not fat. Why are.
you guys killing this guy?" Can you. please give us a state of Tyrese. Hallebertton right now and also update. the world on the incredible progress. we've had on multiple fronts, both at. the Achilles and also on the head eye. entire thing, please, Tyrese? >> Yeah. So, I'm going on I'm going on. eight weeks of shingles right now. face. shingles. >> Jeez. >> And I haven't been able to get rid of. it. I've switched my meds like three. times and I've gotten a Botox injection. None of it has helped.
>> You do look good. >> Uh, and the new meds, uh, side effect of. the meds is that I'm always hungry and. weight gain. So, so it's making me gain. weight. And we know the problem is I. said when I did LeBron's podcast on Mind. the Game, I said, "I'm the heaviest I've. been right now. I'm bulking. I'm strong. I'm lifting all the time. This is good. And then. >> yeah, >> face shingles hit me. And so now the. bulking has turned into just. >> I'm just bigger for no reason. So now.
they're killing me on social media. I. got I've seen I'm being called Tyrese. Hala Ber. >> I DIDN'T see that one. >> The new one. Yeah. >> TYRESE. not good. >> Oh dude. >> You know the internet's going to get get. you though. I mean that's what it is. Uh. let's talk about the we talk about the. eight weeks uh shingles on top of. everything else. You talk about going. through multiple medicines. I assume. that's a scary situation actually. because we've talked throughout the. entirety. You were like on house arrest. there for a little bit uh because of. what shingles was. You weren't able to.
move much in the middle of an Achilles. recovery in which that Achilles recovery. was going well, right? And then this. kind of put a halt to a lot of things. Am I is I don't know how much you want. to talk about and I'm sorry I probably. just said too much but this is the. reality of the situation I think. >> Yeah. No, I was going to start playing. five on five after all-star break. That. was the plan. And then shingles hit me. And so I was didn't go I was at the. house for two weeks, no workouts. I. started working out again for like two. weeks and then after that my eye started.
swelling up and I I was basically. swollen shut from the shingles again. So. I had to take another week and a half. off before I revved back up. So now I've. just started to play five on five now. Uh so yeah, it's like it's been it's. been trash. She's been trash. >> Yeah, that sounds like an incredibly. terrible run of luck. Okay, I want to. let you know that I don't think you. deserve it. I'm sorry that it's. happening. Can you tell me about. shingles? I don't think I know much. about shingles. I I I thought. 80-year-olds got shingles, right? Isn't. this kind of like an older thing? Whenever you heard that, what was the.
thing? And how much have you had to. learn about this entire thing now? >> Well, I thought Doc was joking when he. told me I had shingles. I was like, "Are. you are you are you playing with me?". He's like, "No, I'm dead serious." But I. guess it's coming out more in people my. like originally they said yeah it was 60. 70 year olds. That's why the vaccine for. shingles is only for people over the age. of 50 because they didn't even test I. don't think they tested younger people. and then so now they're saying more. people younger are getting it uh from. stress and other things and so like you. had to have chickenpox. I didn't have a.
lot of people my age didn't get. chickenpox. We all got the vaccine, which obviously is the dormant virus, so. that it could come out in you later in. life. So that's why I'm getting it now. And yeah, it's horrible. So I would. advise anybody over the age of 50, I. don't think any of you guys on the show. are over the age of 50, to get the. vaccine cuz this is trash. It's been. horrible. >> Yeah, that's honestly, thank you for. like spreading that message. Me learning. about you having it was an eye opener to. me. I'm like, excuse me, I can can I get. this thing? because I I think my dad had.
it and it was a long time and painful. >> and it's like sweat I think and. everything is kind of an issue. So, we. want to let you know we appreciate the. adversity that you're building up. Let's. talk about where you are with the. Achilles recovery. How much are you able. to work? How much are you able to look. at what Tatum's doing and know like, okay, I can come back in a big way. because I think there has been a little. bit of a narrative about Achilles. recoveries, especially in our sport. I. think we talked about it and I assume in. your guys' sport as well that there is a. little bit of a roll out post being. cleared to an Achilles becoming like uh. full speed again. It's normally a little.
bit of a stiffer start, a little slower. start and we don't know if that's. necessarily a mental thing or it's. actually the Achilles Tatum's come out. and gone crazy. I has that been a. thought uh a conversation you've been a. part of and how do you feel with where. you are right now? >> Yeah, we're attacking it, man. I I feel. really good. It's like when I'm running. or playing, I don't even think about it. anymore. I know like when I'm playing, when I get down, I'm like, damn, I'm. still like a step behind. Um, but I feel. I mean, I feel good. I don't think about. it anymore. I'm like doing everything.
five on five, uh, playing full full go, running, doing cardio, doing everything, honestly. So, you know, seeing Jason. have so much success, DeJonte Murray. also came back. Seeing those guys have. so much success has been awesome. Uh. Jason and me talk pretty regularly, so. I'm excited to see uh his run throughout. the playoffs. You know, it's going to be. fun fun to watch. And uh yeah, seeing. him have so much success definitely. makes me excited for, you know, when I. come back. >> Playing games start tomorrow on Amazon. How was the year? Did you do Amazon? I. forget.
>> Yeah, I did. I did. I did. I I was a. contributor for Amazon. >> How was it? >> It was good. It was good. I talk about. recovery. Uh then my last one, they were. like, we couldn't even talk recovery cuz. I had shingles. So, I was like, I don't. know how much I can really update y'all. right now, but uh No, it was good. I. enjoyed it. >> Recovery has actually had to become uh. another recovery as well. Shingles. Yeah, you've never heard of a young. player having it. I got it. And 8 weeks, a long time, dude. That's a long time. >> I actually think I'm I actually think. I'm the first dude that this is not.
documented, but I we were trying to find. another documented case of anybody in. the NBA having it. I think I'm like. first guy in the NBA to have it. #. >> I'm the test dummy, I think. >> Couple refs, bro. >> You're the right guy for it. Hey, you're. the right guy for it. Come on. Come on, Tyrese. Let's keep it going. We need to. get back to the finals around here cuz. you know what? I found myself. >> really only paying attention uh to high. level stuff as opposed to entire run, if. that makes sense. When you were playing,
this is me just being a human. Uh I was. obviously very uh in tune with what the. Pacers were doing. Pacers also problem. in East. So had to pay attention to kind. of everything that was going on this. year without the Pacers in it. You. should be up for the MVP game seven of. the finals. Now we're in the lottery. That's pretty valuable. Uh that's that's. not really talk about. But I've learned. it myself. I've tried to stay away from. it because I don't want that to be my. image of the Pacers. I don't want that. to be I don't want us to be losing. I. don't want to be me wasting energy. paying attention. So I've just been.
saying high level. Feels like players. and NBA are going to have to figure. something out about something that I. guess has been talked about for a long. time now around the league. Go ahead, Khan. Man. >> Yeah. Tyrese, how do you feel about the. 65game thing? Obviously, he missed the. whole year, so it didn't really matter, but looking at some of the players, I. think Cunningham, I'm not sure if he. missed out officially. We towards the. end, he almost missed out. There are. some other guys that clearly didn't. reach 65 games, but should be eligible. for awards. Like, where do you kind of. stand on that? And also, thank you for. the great shoe collection. Now, keep.
going with the Halies. They are. incredible shoes. >> Yeah, appreciate that, Colin. No, I I. think it's interesting. I think, listen, the NBA had to do something because at. the end of the day, fans and analysts. and people watch the game, they want the. great players to play, and I get that. And we made the 65game rule to get more. players to play. And actually, I was the. first year of this rule coming into. play. Uh I don't know if you guys. remember, I hurt my hamstring that year. and you know that I was fighting to make. all NBA to to get a supermax contract.
So, uh I was one of the first guys kind. of affected by this and at the time I. said I think this is a dumb rule and I. had a meeting with Commissioner Silver. We talked about it and I think that I. understand from the league's perspective. how we're trying to get players to play. and I think at the end of the day guys. want to play like I don't think guys. want to miss games but I think this is a. rule that will get adjusted uh going. into next year because there's been so. much conversation around it. Um because. I think at the end of the day there are. certain guys that can play more games.
and miss it because of the minutes rule. which is also interesting. Like I think. there something has to be done. I don't. have all the answers. I'm not I don't. know if I'm smart enough to have all. those answers. I don't because at the. end of the day if it's 60 games there's. going to be a guy who plays 59 games and. he's not able to make it. Right? There's. always going to be somebody who can't. make it can't make the rule. So I think. at the end of the day like you have to. have um people who are voting on these. things of all NBA they have to be able. to have enough feel for those for those. things for those awards you know I think.
that's what makes the most sense. >> who votes on it is that a media driven. thing. >> it's a media driven thing but you got to. understand like if you if you if you. miss this all certain guys if they miss. making all NBA they could miss getting. their contract bumped up from a max to a. superman. >> Yeah. What what's the difference of. that? Cuz media voting on something that. can control how much of the money you. think is that actually do you know? >> Yeah, I think my contract don't quote me. on this. Somebody's going have to look. it up. I think my contract at the time. went like if I was on a regular max it.
was like 210. If I was super max it was. 250 something $40 million on a media. vote is crazy. And I guess we would be. considered part of the media. >> Yeah, I could be off on that. May and. potentially maybe they need to make the. rule that um like the financial benefit. isn't affected on it. I I don't know. I. don't have the I don't have the answer, but something needs to change. >> Yeah, because there's always a. predicament, you know. There's always. going to be 65 games. Guys go to play. Oh, actually actual injuries have hit a.
couple of the big time guys that could. be very affected by that. Nope. Got to. be 65 games. Well, they actually have. more minutes though than the people that. are going to play like 70 75 because. they played so much in the first games. where they weren't injured and it's like. >> nope. It's not minutes, it's games. It's got. like it's uh they'll get you into Well, let's drop it down. Well, okay. How? So, we're dropping it down for these. Are we. dropping it down if this player has it? It's like a neverending dog chase tail. there. So, Adam Silver, we know you're a.
smart guy. >> Good luck on this one, buddy. >> Figure it out. Good luck. figure it out. >> now. >> NOW, I'M SICK OF I'M SICK OF NOT SEEING. THE STARS PLAY. >> EXACTLY. >> NOW, if they're actually hurt, I They. need to at least walk out there, say. hello to me, walk back in rehab. I I. would like to see that. It's an. interesting It really is. That's a. fascinating thing. Yeah. Go ahead. >> Uh the salary cap differences for a max. contract is 30%. For a super max. contract, it's 35% per year of the. salary cap that that team has.
>> Okay. So, of the salary cap difference. Yeah. And what's our salary cap at now? What's you guys salary cap? >> 195. >> No clue. I wish I could tell you that. answer. >> You're the greatest. >> You're the absolute greatest. Uh last. thing here, uh as we move forward to. playoff talk, don't want to put you in a. position to have to do that unless you. would like to do that. Uh there's a. massive weekend coming up here, bud. >> Mhm. >> Okay. As you see, >> the champ is. >> already This guy feels like wrestling. again, doesn't it? It does. It feels. like it's WrestleMania season because.
Randy Orton is the focal point. Now, we. appreciate Cody. Just go ahead and. understand the situation. Let me go. ahead and take this thing so we can get. a little comfortable with happy about. it. >> What's that? >> He doesn't look happy. That strap is. sitting there. >> WHAT DO YOU MEAN? >> OH, YEAH. Is he uh Cody Crowley? >> Pat, I'm glad that you're holding the. bell. I'm Why would I be mad that my guy. is holding the bell right now? >> It's not about me. Okay. This is about. Randy Orton. Obviously, Randy Orton. That's why I put on a shirt right there.
That's why obviously we got this going. on. This is about a man that should be. topper card. And good news, Wrestlemania. Saturday night. Tickets on sale right. now. 25% off. Wow. Thanks to Ram Trucks, you can still come be a part of a once. in a century evening in Las Vegas. Very. rarely does this happen in sports. You're going to be able to say, "I was. there.". >> Yeah. >> This is going to be one of the ones. you're going to want to say, "I was. there." M. >> there's a lot about to pop off. Tyrese, you want to pick the card here uh.
quickly? Uh who you think's going to win. each match or uh are you trying not to. get any heat, brother? Uh and just. saying everybody's going to do good. It's me. >> in line. >> You want me to pick every match from. night one? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I got uh Liv winning the women's. title match. >> Congrats, Liv. >> The baby live. >> Really? >> I got uh LA Night and the Usos winning. the tag team match. >> Oh no. I show speed. >> Wow. >> Speed's cursed.
>> Dan Hen cursed. Speed. >> That's true. >> I'll tell you what, that Dan Hen thing. needs to stay away. I do agree with. that. >> You need to stay away from Dan Housing. >> Don't you worry. I ALREADY GOT IT. FIGURED OUT, TYRESE. OKAY. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. It's all figured out. It's all figured out. Dan Hen, let's. stay away from that dude. >> That dude. >> Yeah. Yeah. He's out. Hey, he's a. problem. >> Yeah, he is big problem. I kind of love. him, though. >> I want to meet Dan Hen. I HOPE I MEET. DAN. >> NO, I GOT SINGLES. YOU MIGHT HAVE. ALREADY DONE. ALL RIGHT. GO AHEAD, PLEASE. LET'S PICK THE REST OF THE SET. >> OKAY. OKAY. I got AJ Lee beating Becky. >> What? >> The man. >> I got I got Gunther beating Seth.
Unfortunately, bad bad day for the. Rollins um household. >> Freak. >> I got Jacob Fatu be No, I got Drew. McIntyre beating Jacob Fatu. >> Remember, it's an unsanctioned match. >> Yeah, first time ever. >> Rules are rules. >> It's the be. >> Are they gonna fight in the back or. something? >> Maybe. Anything pipes? >> You never know. I'll tell you what, that. those are two heavyweights. I like what. those two are about. >> Sin City Street match. >> Go ahead now. Do the match. Do the whole.
thing. Do the Wrestlemania main event. The whole wrest you forgot the women's. tag match. Don't forget the women's tag. match. >> Well, >> I got Bailey. Bailey and Lyra winning. that. >> I thought that I apologize. >> That's on me. That's 100% on me. Bailey. and Lyra. That's good win. That's good. win. Love what you're talking about. >> Fatal. >> And then the world title match. You. know, Cody's my guy, but I have Randy. winning that, man. >> Yeah, you do. Boom. You. >> better. It's because you know, man, you. know better. >> That's a right decision, Tyrese. You. know, if Randy doesn't win and walk out. of Wrestlemania as a world champion, I'm.
gone forever from the wrestling world. >> And there's some people on the internet. saying, "We need that." Shut up. You. don't know what you need. You have no. idea what you need. You're looking at it. and you don't even know it. >> On that note, you're one of them. Tyrese, have a good one. >> What am I? What do you mean? You're an. outsider. Just like. >> remember Tony Rhodess is family. >> I just picked you to win. I just picked. you and Randy to win. Why you got beef. with me? >> Just doesn't feel like you meant it. >> Yeah. All right. I I appreciate you. I.
want to let you know I appreciate you. You going to be out of Mania? >> I will be. Yeah. >> Welcome to the Randy Orton show, Paul. It's great. It's going to be great to. have you. The business will appreciate. you being. >> contagious. >> Yeah. What do we What should we do? How. do we work with the guy? I wear I wear I. wear sunglasses. No. >> Wait. How do What do you mean? Your. shingles in my eyes you or not. >> You wearing a bubble boy suit. >> Yeah. What do we wear? Bubble wrap on. the other side. Do we go back to the co. thing? >> Not contagious, brother. >> Okay. All right. I'll look that up for. sure. You're the man. You're the best.
Can't wait to SEE YOU. >> HOW DID YOU CATCH IT? >> YEAH. WHAT HAPPENED? IT just from. inside. >> Yeah. >> Uh yeah, from inside. I must have been. stressed. >> Stressed? >> Yeah. But I had chickenpox, so I have. it. So if I come in contact, >> but I had chickenpox, too. >> Me, too. >> You're good. You're good, brother. Look. it up. It was not contagious. >> Oh, so that thing lives inside you and. then just needs to get out at some. point. And if you're a kid, it's. chickenpox. And if you're over 50 or. Tyrese Hallebertton, it's shingles. >> Okay, I'm happy we we learned that. today. All right, you're the man. Keep.
battling. We appreciate the hell out of. you. We'll see you in Vegas, ladies and. gentlemen. Tyres Hallebertton. >> Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, to. give us more scoop on everything. happening around the NBA, our friend, senior NBA insider at ESPN, SHAM. SHIRANYA. SHAM'S. UH WOW, YOU look a lot. >> I learned a lot about shingles and Tyres. Halbert. Prayers up to him, by the way. >> Absolutely. He's been battling. We've. been kind of uh we've been in contact. with him through it all. You know, he's. been playing a lot of cards at the house. because he wasn't able to leave for a. long time. So, like he wasn't able to. leave the house because the entire I.
think there were some times where he. couldn't see. I'm giving away too much. All right, we only got a couple minutes. here. Uh as we head into the playoffs, huge news. Doc Rivers fired. Now, are. you I don't know how I feel about this. cuz I know you and Doc are a little bit. of heat and I know you've been covering. this team for a long time saying some. things are going to happen and there's a. boiling point taking place now. People. have said Sean's you're talking about. this for years. Okay. You're chasing a. ghost and they've continually done. things that I think you were projecting. them to not do. Maybe hang on to. Yiannis. Keep them together. Now it. feels like a domino falls. Is that how.
you view this? How do you view this. entire situation? Yeah, I mean I haven't really been. talking about Giannis and Tompo uh in. Milwaukee for years. I started reporting. on it last May. This has been like an 11. what we're now at 11 month saga that's. been going on between Giannis and the. Bucks. And so uh listen, I just report. the news. I just document the news. And. so the truth can hurt sometimes 100%. I. stand by my reporting to the 10th degree. like 100%. The reality of the Bucks.
situation is this is Giannis in in his. camp informed the Bucks last May that he. was ready to part ways. He was ready to. move on. The time had come after 12. years together that we all had to move. on. But John Horse, the general manager. of the Bucks and Doc Rivers, the head. coach, they wanted to continue to keep. him and contend. And they felt like they. had the roster to compete in the Eastern. Conference. They thought this team was. going to be a contender. And then they. go out and get Miles Turner. you wave. and stretch Damen Lillard. And so you.
add all those factors together and it's. been a clear miscalculation of the. situation. Giannis was very clear in his. private meetings with the Bucks. He felt. this roster wasn't good enough. He had. serious doubts about the roster. And so. listen, in a lot of ways, he was proved. to be right. The season played out the. way it played out. I think everyone in. the NBA knows exactly what's going on in. Milwaukee. I think most people in the. world know exactly what's going on right. now in Milwaukee. And so we're kind of. similar where we were last year as far. as Giannis uh as far as last summer.
where the Bucks will get a bunch of. calls. They're going to get a bunch of. offers. They already went through. negotiations for Giannis in February as. far as trade talks. They're probably. going to revisit a lot of those same. conversations with teams like Minnesota. and Golden State and Miami and the. Knicks. We'll see how the playoffs shake. out. That's going to have a big part in. all this. But listen, the reality of. everything in Milwaukee is this. If they. spent as much time dealing with their. own internal dynamics and problems as. they do responding to accurate reports,
they wouldn't be in the mess that. they're in right now. So, I'm just. focused on doing the job at the highest. of levels that I possibly can. >> Okay. So, Doc Leaves, uh, you spit a bar. that you've been thinking of saying for. a long time right now about. >> here. I I got one more for you. I got. one more for you. All right. So, I've. been I watched some documentaries from. time to time. Uh, I saw one on fire. festival, right? And so the the the part. we're at now is when, you know, everyone. wants to run and you're doing the cover. up. And again, it's totally fine. I'm.
just here to document and cover it the. right way. And I I feel like we've done. an unbelievable job uh tracking. everything. And at the end of the day, the last month and a half, we've seen. it. The player in Giannis has been. feuding with his own team about whether. he can play or not. He wants to play. He. feels he's cleared to play. He told the. NBA, he told the NBPA, the union, that. he's healthy and can play. They felt. that the Bucks did not want to clear. him. And my understanding is Giannis was.
told that is upper management's decision. not to allow him to play. And so how. that plays out, the NBA is still looking. into the situation. We'll see what comes. of that or doesn't come of that. >> In a year filled with tanking problems. for the NBA, now you got one of its. biggest stars coming out saying, It's. happening. >> I can play. I'm healthy, but I've been. shut down for multiple weeks by my team. because my team wants to position for. draft lottery. >> I guess the person for the Milwaukee. Bucks who has to tell Giannis he's not.
playing whoever that is, you know, whether it was Doc or or whatever the. case was. That that person is kind of. like the water person for Firefest. >> Well, he's the messenger. >> Yeah. That's that's the worst job. >> That guy was ready to risk it all. Exactly. Whoever was telling Yiannis was like, "Listen, I'll do it. I'll do it. I guess. if it needs to be done, I'll be the one. that'll go stand in front of the Greek. freak and tell him that nah, you're not. playing when he wants to play." That's. some You need You need that person to.
You need that person. And Firefest. >> had it. >> Needed that person. >> They did. They needed water at the. event. >> Yeah. So if we're going to. >> at the end of the day, you needed. someone to step up in a position of. leadership to say this is the right. thing for the organization. This is the. approach we're going to take. But. listen, it John Horse and Doc Rivers. believed this was a contending team, that this was a good team. Giannis told. him last summer, "No, it's not. I think. we need to move on. They made the. decision that we're going to keep. everything together." Again, that's on.
them. Them keeping Giannis has nothing. to do with what I've been reporting. I've reported that he is ready and. prepared for a move. I reported they're. listening to trade offers and. negotiating with teams. Both things. happened. They didn't end up trading. them in the at the deadline. We'll see. what happens this summer. >> We appreciate your coverage of. everything. What should we look at for. the playoffs? Are the Lakers going to be. healthy? Um, obviously them being prime. time on Saturday night. People are a. little bit up in arms over the Denver. game getting up in there because of the. quality of basketball versus just LeBron.
James' potential last run with the. Lakers being prime time selection. What. are the storylines for this weekend and. also the playin games that we need to. know in about a minute and a half or so. Shams? >> Just brutal injuries for the Lakers, right? They they were soaring. They were. the number three seed in the Western. Conference and then in the span of 24. hours, Luca Donic, grade two hamstring. strain. Austin Reeves grade two oblique. strain. They missed the last, I believe, five or so games of the regular season. And the expectation around the Lakers,
both will be out out to start the first. round this weekend. And so you're. playing this first round basically. LeBron James is your number one option. This is a guy that went from averaging. 20 points, five, you know, 6, seven. assists, 67 rebounds to, I mean, the. last three games that he's played, he's. averaging 26, 11, and seven. We're. seeing his touches go up, his scoring is. going up, everything is going up. But. Luca Donic, he spent the last week in. Spain from my understanding, the. majority of time in Spain. He underwent.
multiple injection treatments in that. hamstring to see can he promote uh quick. healing. Can he promote uh he uh you. know, an expedited return a lot in a lot. of ways for him to be back. My. understanding is he'll be back in the. States on Tuesday and then they're going. to re-evaluate him. Austin Reeves, he's. out uh for majority of this first round. series. Uh most likely, probably the. earliest for him is going to be that. first week of May. So, they have a tall. task now facing Houston in this first.
round. >> Okay. Uh we appreciate you joining us, Sems. We can't wait for prime time, NBA. playoff time. We are uh thankful for. you. You look incredible today, bud. You. look incredible. Yeah, very. You're the. man. Laser Diamond Shaman. >> Hey, >> I mean, he cut a couple, but he said, "I. got another bar I thought of.". >> Mhm. >> Firefest, remember? >> I didn't know where he was going with. that. >> Me neither. >> Yeah. I thought he was going with the. jaw rule. >> We went exactly where it needed to go. >> Yeah. The person that has to that.
offered up. I'll go tell y'all to see. ain't playing. >> Mhm. >> That's a tough job. >> Tough. >> Impossible. >> Need somebody to do it. >> I don't know. I don't think you do. Well, you weren't there. >> Depends on a sitch. >> Yeah, >> depends on the sitch. >> We're certainly looking if we're not. >> Let's get to a break, please. Okay, on. the other side, we got incredible sports. talk, including a lot of NFL stuff. happening. Adam Sher will join us. Be a. friend, tell a friend something nice. It. might change their life. See you on the.
other side. Pat McAfee has arrived. >> San Jose, let's go change the world a little bit. >> HEY, HELLO, GOVERNOR. DID YOU tell him? >> Yes, Mr. McAfee. I told him no one from.
WWE is allowed to put their hands on you. under any circumstances. >> Thank you. Hey, chin up, mate. It's Wrestlemania season. Will you take care of the ramp? >> Thank you. Pierce got some TRP. Sounds a little. different. It's great to be here. Hang. on a Stanley Cup in here. >> Hey yo. Oh, did you tell Randy to RKO.
me, Jelly? I I wouldn't. No. No. I told. him. I just simply told him to kill. everybody. I never could have expected. you to be. You shouldn't have been out. there in between Cody and Randy. You. know that. >> You're right. I shouldn't have been. between Cody and Randy. And neither. should you. Why are you here, Pat? >> Jelly, it's a lot bigger than you could ever. imagine. You're an outsider, okay? You're not supposed to be a part of our. business. You would never get it, brother. >> Somebody's going to end up checking me. That'd be a bad decision, especially.
with. >> Randy Orton around. >> What if I'm checking you right now? I. don't see Randy anywhere. Pat, >> I think that'd be a very bad idea. Roll, >> WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, DOG? >> WHAT DO YOU THINK'S WRONG? I don't work here, bro. What's wrong. with you, too, >> Deli? >> I DON'T WORK HERE. >> WHAT IS THAT? >> OH, I know you don't. Why don't you get. on? Don't put your hands on me.
>> For Adam Pierce, will you please get. THIS EXCONVICT outsider out of here, please? Jeez, I GOT TO GO SAVE THE. BUSINESS WITH RANDY. EVEN THOUGH NONE OF YOU DISGUSTING BUMS. DESERVE IT, I decided to help you out. I CALLED RAM TRUCKS, THE OFFICIAL. SPONSOR OF WRESTLEMANIA, AND SAID, "HEY, Ram Trucks, do you want to help.
wrestling fans and sports entertainment. fans get to Wrestlemania?" They said, "Absolutely." So, I asked them, "Why. don't you pick up 25% of the bill for. anybody that buys a Wrestlemania. Saturday Night ticket from this moment. until the end of MONDAY NIGHT RAW?" THEY. SAID, "NO PROBLEM. 25% OFF. ALL TICKETS. TO WRESTLEMANIA. SATURDAY NIGHT FROM NOW UNTIL MONDAY.
NIGHT RAW." THE FOLLOWING program is a. collection of stooges talking about. happenings in the sports world. It is. meant to be comedic, informative. The. opinions expressed on this show do not. necessarily reflect the beliefs of their. peers, their boss, or ESPN. There may be. some cuss words because that's how. humans in the real world talk. >> Hey, let's go. >> This show sticks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. >> McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers, you. Damn it. Be a friend. Tell a friend. something nice could change their life. >> Hello beautiful people and welcome back.
to our humble abode. The Thunderdome on. this overreaction mania week Monday. April 13th 2026. Hour of the program. that begins now. >> are the absolute greatest. We're so. incredibly lucky that we get a chance to. cover it every single day. Thank you for. allowing us to do as such. We love. sports and this weekend was certainly a. showcase of competition in sport, bringing the world together while also. showcasing absolute greatness as Rory. Moy goes backto back at the Masters for.
the first time since Tiger Woods did it. in 2002. Now, the return of the M Groy. is a big deal because he's kind of a. heel. >> Yeah, I didn't play in the first three. tournaments leading up to the Masters. Now, historically, people like to talk. about playing up to the tournament as. being a big- time gear up for the. Masters. Normally, if you win a. tournament before the Masters, you would. go on to win the Masters. Instead, Roy. Moy, after winning his first ever Green. Jacket a year ago, and potentially. having the weight of the world off of. his shoulders and already being an.
established top golfer in the history of. golf, took a bunch of tournaments off, traveled up to Augusta from his home in. Florida, put his daughter to school, went up there, played 36 holes a day, learned the course inside and out. Now, everybody that's in golf that knows. about that says, "This guy might win it. every single year because of how damn. good he is and how perfect the course is. for how he golfs." Obviously, he can. strike it. The guy's outrageous. He. wasn't even playing his best golf. Andy. Norse said, "Hey, he's sequencing off. His timing is off. He he got a good.
range session in and it seemed like he. kind of starting timing it up a bit, but. he's been he's been winning this thing. wire to wire and he hasn't really played. good. So if he wakes up on Sunday and. plays good, he's going to Well, he had. to battle. He actually lost the lead. There was people getting into it. Sheffller was going absolutely bananas. The leaderboard was all over the place. There was a How about Hatton? Unbelievable. >> He held it. >> He really did. He really did. And he. started climbing all of a sudden. Wait a. minute. How about Lee?
>> Yeah. >> He. He found parts of that course a lot of. people have never been on. >> Yeah. Like if we were to play that. course, it would be like how he had to. play that course yesterday. I And this. is why golf is just so incredibly hard I. guess cuz this is what a centimeter off. whenever he drove something and then. this is where he ends up and all of a. sudden you're punished forever. You. know, it's a little different between us. playing up here in a sim and then. playing in real life. If I hook one left. on a sim, I'm certainly going to think. to myself, well, all right, this is in a. bush and I'm going to hit that thing. clean. Whenever you are in a terrible. position and you can be one from six.
inches away from each other, you can be. completely blocked by tree or have a. little bit of a window and with how. talented these guys are, they can kind. of shape it through any field goal. upright if they have it. But at Augusta, there's a chance that you don't have. that. And then there's a chance that. that ball is rolling all the way into. the water because how fast the damn. greens are. Whenever you think about. that day, there's a chance Rory was. going to have a catastrophic meltdown. and they're going to say, "Oh no, Rory's. never going to be able to witness. again." Because that was the story. before he won the first jacket. It was. like he's never going to be able to win.
this and then he won it and then like. now he's free. Now he's free. Well, if. you have a meltdown Saturday and Sunday. at the Masters, uh historic one, especially with, you know, a massive. stroke lead, they're going to talk about. you not being able to win it ever again. forever. He was up against a lot. There's a lot of chatter about his life. There was a lot of things getting taken. ways that were negative. There's a. chance that his legacy would become one, that he's not going to be able to win it. again, which is outrageous because of. how successful he is. And he just. fought, man. And he just started. battling and he started winning. And he. wins for I I think himself and that.
country club of his back in Northern. Ireland. >> Yeah. Hollywood. >> They were having a good time back there. The lads were packed in pretty good. though. Oh yeah. >> Packed in pretty tight. >> I saw them a lot. >> Slugging pints. >> Yeah, there was there was Pines of. Guinness there. They would go past, split in a G, and they just go ahead and. down that thing. And then as the day. continued to went, double bogey. Oh. Oh, come on. Roar. You know, they're making. that thing disappear. Then all of a. sudden we get a birdie on seven. Then we. start heating up for the back and or the. second. Sorry. And the boys over there.
are having a time. Slauncher. Sla. And. then all of a sudden Roy Moy saying I'm. I'm get pretty booed up tonight. >> Yeah. >> Good for him. Good for Augusta. Put on. an incredible tournament. Good for golf. having a Sunday. That was certainly a. spectacle and something that kicks off. golf season in a huge way. Kicks off. spring for South. I heard that. I think. we all kind of feel that way. Like okay, now it's officially like warmer weather. season. So, what a beautiful time to be. alive. We're thankful for it. NBA playin. games are tomorrow night. NBA first. rounds this weekend. NFL draft is right.
around the corner. Wrestlemania is this. weekend. We're living good. The toxic. table's here at Boston Connor and at Tai. Schmidt. One of the hammer Cowboys AP. Tony is here. Nine-year NFL vet Darius. J. Butler is here. Hey, you look. fantastic. >> Yes. >> Sunday, rooting for you, Tiger. >> Hell yeah. >> Love you, Tiger. >> Good luck, Tiger. >> Miss you, Tiger. You are ass. >> at driving. >> Yep. >> Okay. You're a great golfer. >> You're a great inspiration to future. athletes. You're a legend, brother.
>> You are ass at driving. Maybe worse. >> Stop driving. >> And on that note, pulling for you, brother. >> Brother is as if we know him. We do not. We were just saying in the sports world, we are certainly pulling for him to be. back as a uh icon, which is exactly what. he is, and he should be viewed that way, but he needs to stop driving. And. joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, live from Manatic in Ohio, is a college. football national champion, Super Bowl. champion, RDER Cup winner, AJ Hall.
>> Paco, I know you got a chance to. experience the Masters a few years back. You got lost for eight hours, kind of. just mossied around, found a cigar, kind. of did your thing. I could see how that. would happen, and I could also see how. you probably had an incredible time. doing it. felt like a trip back in time. Also feels like it's back in time. because Rory is just becoming this oh. tiger wearing red on Sunday type. character where they think he's about to. go on an absolute slaughter mission at. this place. It was fun to be down there. Fun to watch. Great day of golf. What. are your thoughts, AJ?
>> Uh it was awesome to watch. I think even. if you're not a big golf fan at all, like I'm I'd say I'm a I'm above casual. golf fan. I I can recognize guys. I know. a lot of different golfers. I know of. them. I'm fans. But I feel like every. situation where you thought Rory could. wilt and, you know, piss this one away. and lose it, he kind of stepped back and. he made a play and he made a big shot. whenever he needed, he never let it get. too far away. And credit to him, man. It. was an awesome thing to watch all day. Sunday. >> Uh, I loved the being AJ. Did you know. it was as hilly as it is? This thing I. don't know how you're a fat golfer. I'm.
going to say it. >> I don't know how you're a fat golfer. >> And I thought walking an incline is like. one of the biggest fat burners they tell. you to do. That's what like the old man. workout is to walk in an incline on a. treadmill. I don't know how they do it. It's like whenever we went out to the. American Century Classic and we're. golfing and we're walking that thing. >> It's like my [ __ ] Hey. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Right, dude. I feel like I'm in. pretty good shape and it was like. blister. The feet get beat up quick. The. feet get beat up quick because you're. not used to walking like that. But it's. like it is a great We're dripping in. sweat walking around this place. I I.
mean just absolutely getting after it. The golfers having to perform four. straight days. Andy North brought this. up. >> Four four straight days. You got to be. able to be at your highest level. Well, that's why if somebody dominates from. beginning to end, you just have to tip. of the cap because it's outrageous that. you were able to master the Masters for. four consecutive days. It'd be like if a. football game had a first quarter uh on. one day, second quarter on second day, third quarter on third day, and then. fourth quarter on fourth day. And Andy. North was trying to bring me into the. conversation. I'm like, "Don't worry. about me, bro. I just got to punt one. time in each of those. I probably got to. do something. So, I don't want you to. talk about me." But you're talking about.
actual football players. Yes. Because he. talked about how you wake up, you know, sometimes, I don't know, kids screaming. all night. Okay. They had bad food. They're pooping all night. >> How tong. >> So you exactly Thursday night. >> had the whole thing. You never know. And. you got to wake up body muscle just a. little tiny muscle tweaked on Friday. that wasn't on Thursday. How about grass. and weather Friday morning versus Friday. afternoon which obviously uh Scotty. talked about. He the way he broke down. golf was really cool for me to listen. It's like yeah that is it's a marathon.
this thing brother. So if you're able to. battle through it all and continue to. dominate especially on the second that's. why Scotty Cheffer is so good for golf. Yeah, >> he was 12 back going into the weekend. >> And then he ended up within one. He. said, "I think it's a pretty good. weekend. I don't like the where I. started," he said. And I like that. Scotty's talking a little bit more. >> I like that Scotty's going, I I don't. know how that. >> I wish I would have played in the. afternoon on Friday. That would have. been great. I started the weekend 12. back. I ended up one back. I think. that's pretty good. It's like that's. kind of what Scotty's known for. >> Scotty's just known for, you know, moving day is normally Saturday. If he.
is in, it's like he is maybe going to. catch. >> Always. >> lurking. literally always. cuz he's four holes away from. potentially six strokes down and it's. like he has the capability of doing. that. I'm happy he did that for us this. weekend. I'm happy Rory had to fend him. off. I'm happy Cam Young came in and. watching that leaderboard down there. AJ, how about how electrifying that is. >> Oh yeah. That's like our people they're. all standing there right waiting for. them to flip it and then all of a sudden. they start cheering or booing doing. whatever they they do. Oh,
>> I felt like such an [ __ ] Me and Foxy. are sitting there with our beer. Shout. out Michael from Stanford and Pen. Uh he. snagged a beer for us. >> Big shout out. >> Can only do two. >> and up. >> Yeah. Big a lot of the you got you got. the corpo people who are. >> and then you got the people. >> Yeah. the southerns who are like this is. the greatest place on earth. So it's. like you kind of all fall in there. But. as we were uh kind of sitting there. watching it all come together and we're. watching the play the play in front of. us. It's like one hole can change.
everything. >> Oh yeah. One hole can change every you. Rory doubles that thing. He goes from a. 12 to 10 on that leaderboard. All of a. sudden you got massive Cam Young fans. like four or five rows behind. It's like. come on Cam. Like it it. >> Rosie was doing it then during that time. period. >> Yeah. It felt like it was the old day. Like it literally felt like I was in the. the old days when like little portions. of fans and then you would you would. hear the Irish lads dam you know like as. they're watching them go down. It was uh. it was so cool. It was like such a cool.
experience. But the leaderboard changing. was crazy. And then the drastic moves. were just like like belly. It's like it was it was a spectacle. Lucky to be there. Thankful to be there. I I don't do a lot of cigar smoking. I. know you do. So I was just trying to. like do what I you do in there. How. often am I supposed to hit that thing? How long is that thing supposed to last? Feel like I had these things for way too. long. Felt like I had to light them a. couple different times. We didn't have a. good cutter, so I was putting a tea into. it or a pencil in the back of it. It was. all a bit loose. I don't think I did it.
right at all. And where am I? Am I. allowed to What do we do with the ashes? Because the stuff I smoke, ash is. actually going to disappear. These. ashes, you guys got some thick. >> Oh, yeah. >> You guys got some thick ashes in there, man. Where am I supposed to put these. things? >> Are you outdoors? I hope you're. outdoors. I mean, you could find place. to ash outdoors. If not, you got to have. an ashtray. >> Those tough I'm saying scars. Tough. life. I. >> I took two puffs and gave up. >> That's cuz you're a wolf. >> Those things. What do you mean? How do. you do that? Well, you probably you. probably had some some old rich guy give.
you some big heavy dark cigar that most. people do not like. That's what I would. do. >> We were told they were very nice cigars. >> Yeah, we were obviously told it's the. best. >> Two puffs and tossed it [ __ ]. >> I did not do that. Everybody understands. that I did not do that. I would not like. to be associated with the person that he. left that thing right on a straight too. It looked like a [ __ ] baseball bat. People walking by who's the. >> Yeah. Jesus. Who did that? >> How? How? >> It's a good one. >> Foxy. >> Ban him. Ban him. People talk about. Sergio Garcia needed to be kicked out. Uh is do we have a guy on right now?
>> Okay, ladies and gentlemen, join us now. He's not gonna be happy about how long. we just talked talked about. >> We apologize that we waste his time. I. didn't hear Bruce first time Bruce said. he was on. Got into a good Augusta. discussion there. >> Mhm. >> We are people that were not supposed to. be here. Say that to me. >> Don't say don't shut up. >> If that's real, don't ever say that. again. bartender told me because I we. walked in, we had no idea where to go. We're like, "Hey, uh we have we're not.
supposed to be here." Like where how is. this kind of all go? Don't say that. >> I just don't [ __ ] say that. >> Bas basically. And if that's true, >> we kind of have to report. I don't know. >> They will put him in a bad spot. Yeah. He will never leave. >> So then another bartender came over. I. think that particular bartender knew uh. maybe what the situation was. dropped a. full cool two master's napkins down and. goes, "Can't believe they let you in. here, boys." And we're like, "Yeah, we. were just talking about it with this. buddy right here. You know, that's great. to see you. What are we supposed to do.
here? What are we supposed to do?" He. goes, "You go out that door." And it's. just all there. And we're like, "All. right." And we walked out there blind. and it was all there and we saw it all. We went down to Amen Corner. >> Oh, yeah. >> Beer's right there. >> Oh, love that. >> You beat be your ease. >> in those nice cups, too. Don't they. taste great out of in those nice Greek. cup? Beer hit different this weekend. >> They did. It was a great weekend for. beer. I I will say. >> Miller cores mostly. >> The Rockies are blue. Yeah. >> Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, once again, we did it again.
>> This is so rude of us. You Hey, we. understand if you're not happy, but. we're a little bit giddy about what. happened this weekend. You get to. experience it all the time, I would. assume, especially because of who you. are. Senior NFL insider at ESPN. Ladies. and gentlemen, Michigan man. Hey, he's got he's got on, of course. >> Oh, hey guys. >> How's it going, guys? Is that what. you're saying, Jeff? Right there with. the uh Augusta National. Uh little. little hoodie there. >> There we go. I think you look at the.
picture I sent you, Pat. >> All right. Teeing off with Jack NICHOLAS SHOT. >> OH, WOW. ZOOM IN ON CAN I YEAH, I CAN. OBVIOUSLY I don't know, actually. Am I. allowed to uh Yeah. Yeah. This is Chef, not me showing this photo. Yeah. >> Uh, is it autotuning here? Go, >> Java. >> Blocky. Is he with Blocky? >> Of course not. >> Be so lucky. >> She the man. The man. >> She and Rory tight or what's the deal?
>> That was last year when I had the honor. of following him and Keegan uh at the. Travelers and that was the two guys and. after the round I got to. >> spend a little bit of time with both. those guys, take some pictures. It was. awesome. I forgot you were a golf. analyst there for uh all tournament. >> Yeah. >> What' you say? Did you want to do it. again or they said all right like were. you going to do that again or how was. that in that world? And how did you what. did you think of the Masters this past. weekend? >> Well, I loved doing that last year and I. love watching the Masters. The Masters. to me always is I mean it's timeless.
It's the same holes every single year. The storylines change. It's unbelievable. to watch these guys and I just love the. time of the year that it is because it. signifies that we're finally in spring. We're getting ready for the NFL draft. It's just I I love the event every year. and it was great yesterday. Congratulations to Rory Mroy for doing. it again. He was awesome, >> man. You just you kind of looked on your. phone on your team mobile service. You're keeping up with the the. leaderboard, you know. Sure. >> You're having a nice Miller Kors nice. pole. >> Yeah. Going over to Dash, maybe ordering.
BUFFALO WILD WAY. >> A medium win. I'm doing it all. Oh, it. is great. It is great. MAKING SOME POTS. DOWN THERE. BURKEMAN'S. You know, it did. feel like I was at a super corpo event. with the people that were there. >> Have you gone down there, Pat? >> All right. Enough. That's it. >> I'm asking. >> So, with the conversation we're having. right now, we're having this. conversation. >> Have you been there? Have you been. there? >> No. >> Was there yesterday? >> Oh, okay. Well, I thought we didn't know. what we were going to do there. >> I'm trying to. >> That place is unbelievable. You got to.
go. >> All right. I will. You know what? I'm. going to. >> I'm actually call somebody. I can't. wait. It's not easy to get in though, Chefty. Like, I don't think that's just. something I just get to walk right into. I think there's a lot of things I think. there's a lot of things that had to. happen for like you to be able to get. there, right? Don't you think that's. kind of a part of it? >> It's called buying a ticket, Pat. You buy a ticket. >> Okay. I didn't know it was just that. easily accessible. We will actually, won't we, Foxy? >> You have to win the raffle, Sheffy. And. then you get a chance to go, but you. might not win the raffle and then you.
wait till next year. >> See, that's the thing. Chefy just got in. because he's an elite. I know. >> Okay. She. >> Michigan man. So, one of his friends, he's probably a green jacket if I had to. guess. And I'll tell you what, when you. walk in the room, >> from my understanding, you can feel the. green jackets. >> You kind of see them. >> Champions just hanging around. >> From what I've been told, the green. jackets, >> they're kind of amongst in they're kind. of like almost working the event. From. what I'm understanding, Jeff, is that. right? I. >> I believe and I could be wrong. I'm.
pretty sure this is right that every. member of the club has to work that. event every year. So like when I went. down there I remember certain people I. don't know if you're allowed to even. talk about they're wearing green jackets. >> and uh you know you bump into people. it's kind of funny. >> that sher talking on me. >> let's remember that. Okay, John. I would. like the state that this sh. >> It's a le to play the I've never played. the course. Never played the course, but. I've been to Mast's events and it's like.
adult Disney World. It's outstanding. It's awesome. >> Yeah. >> Adult Disney. >> That's what I've heard. I can't wait. I'll tell you what, I like actual Disney. World, too. >> Yeah. >> Now granted, whenever you are an. [ __ ] it's a much different. experience, you know, whenever they're. >> Disneyland. >> Yeah. Disney World. It's crazy that. whole thing. But, uh, yeah, I love it. all. Okay. So, we'll try to get that. We'll try to get down. Maybe next year. we'll try to get down there. Sheffy, let's talk about some things that. happened over the weekend uh in the. football world. Most notably, okay, Travis Hunter allegedly going to one.
side of the ball. Okay, we are. officially turning Travis Hunter uh into. a defensive player and then maybe have a. little bit of a package on the offensive. side. That was reported by your peer um. Ian Rapaort posting ESPN links. >> Yeah. >> Okay. uh as to become one in the NFL. Network, ESPN world. Uh obviously we're. pumped up about that. We know rap. We. know you and Rap will have an incredible. relationship. But on that note, Travis.
Hunter immediately responds goes, "No, who told me this? Huh? Who's saying all. this?" And then there was a response. from, you know, basically the game. a. response from the game that was like, "Hey, Young Buck, uh, Tony Jefferson. responds." They told him that, "Okay, Ace ain't told you yet, Rook. Welcome to. the league, kid." So, Tony Jefferson. with an outstanding OG tweet right. there. >> Been around for a while, >> which is basically the game, by the way.
And you insiders know that, you more. than anybody, obviously, in this entire. game. You will know stuff way before. players will know it. Way before agents. would even know it somehow. That's how. your sources kind of work. That's kind. of the game. I remember playing for the. Colts and being at practice and then. getting out of practice looking at my. phone and something was broke from two. minutes before that I'm like how's the. whole world who how is this they know. you know can you tell me what you know. about this particular situation and the. conversation as a whole because this was.
going to be and from our source. >> says. the Browns were going to draft Travis. Hunter I believe as well. >> I believe Travis Hunter was going to be. drafted number two overall to the bronze. if the Jags hadn't made a massive trade. How would that have looked with the. Browns versus what it was going to be. talked about when Stoner told us about. changing the mold of football as a whole. down there in Jacksonville when they. trade everything like that? What are. your thoughts on the situation? What do. we know right now as I uh way too.
elaborative response to inform people. what the hell's going on? >> As you await your master's invitation. Uh here's what I would say about Travis. right now. It's middle of April and. there's a lot of ways this can go, but. here's the way that I expect it to go. right now. He is going to have his his. snaps at cornerback spike this year. So, it was 162 snaps on defense last year, 324 offense. He's still going to play.
offense, too. The difference this year. is just that they lost Greg Newsome in. free agency to the New York Giants. They. traded Tyson Campbell during the year. for Greg Newsome. Greg Newsome leaves in. free agency to go to the New York. Giants. They have 11 draft picks, including four on day two. So, the. Jaguars going to be very active on day. two of the draft here. Maybe they'll. draft another quarterback. Maybe they. won't. But I can tell you that the plans. are to use him at wide receiver again,
just the way they did last year, and to. have his spikes snap at the cornerback. position. And that's why they gave up. all the picks to go get Travis Hunters. to have the luxury to be able to play. him at both slots. And if you need him. at a certain spot, you can insert him at. that spot. They need him now at. quarterback. They lost a good. quarterback in free agency. So Travis. Hunter is going to play a lot more at. quarterback, but he's going to continue.
playing wide receiver just like he did. last year. >> Okay, we like that. Just like he did. last year. would imply that there would. be a little bit more than just a couple. packages. We've seen guys play on both. sides of the ball, including but not. limited to Pac-Man Jones, I believe, played uh special teams as a returner. I. don't think he ever fair caught. Obviously was a corner in the NFL for. like 14 years or something. I forget. what it was. And then he also had. offensive [ __ ] because of how elusive he. was. I believe Devin Hester had similar. packages. Uh I think there was uh.
although Deon didn't play on defensive. side of the ball, I guess that would not. count. >> Yeah, Marcus Jones right now kind of. does for New England. He'll play. offense. Got to catch a couple bubble. screens. Then he returns punts and. kicks. >> Julian Edelman did it for a little bit. >> Charles Woodson. >> Charles Woodson did it for a while. >> Mike did it for a little bit. Mike Brael. cuts some touchdowns. >> JJ. So we have seen like the elite. athletes in the past go on both sides. But if you're saying it's going to be. similar to last year, I think everybody. was expecting that was a little bit more. than what was expected. And uh if he.
continues to grow into both roles, that'd be dope. But man, it's going to. be hard to believe that the body's going. to be able to do it. But I know he is. considered a guy that never gets tired. in better shape than everybody else. And. it's like the body, if it can hold up, sweet. Can the mental as well? They say. he's high football IQ. It's like, do we. still believe that it's possible after. he gets hurt in year one whenever. everybody thought he couldn't? I hope. that there's somebody that's standing by. a little bit and it sounds like you're. saying the Jags are still very open to. the opportunity of him playing both. sides. Deb, but your thoughts?
>> Getting hurt. that's going to happen. regardless of what position you play. You're going to get hurt in the NFL. That's that's a foregone conclusion. But. the mental part of it for me, like the. game is so tough week to week and you. know, you have to game plan and you can. have a certain route, but that's going. to change depending on coverages, depending on how they're playing those. coverages. And same thing on defense. If. we're going up against, you know, Jamar. Chase or Justin Jefferson or CD Lamb or. one of these receivers like these. quarterbacks, you have certain game. plans that change on third down, red. area, two minutes. So, so many different. things that you have to do. That's why. so many older players came out and say,
"Look, he can't do this. I don't care. how good he is, how talented he is, he. can't do this." And then from the Jaguar. standpoint, at what point do you say, "Okay, we have to just put him fulltime. on one side to get a return on our. investment before we have to make. another decision to pay him a ton of. money." So, I'm interested to see how it. plays out physically. I think you handle. both ways. For me, it's more so the. mental aspect of it. So, I'm all for. putting him 90% on one side of the ball. and then because he is so dynamic, you. know, figure out, you know, get get the. ball in his hands four or five times a.
game. >> Go ahead, Shifty. >> I don't think he's going to play less. wide receiver. I don't think he's going. to play less, but he's going to play a. lot more at cornerback. >> Okay. >> Okay. And you look at their defense, Shifty, we put together a potential of. their defense, and obviously they have. the chance to add two great pass. rushers. Okay. on the outside inside. stout and then now at corner if you're. able to get locked down in defensive. area it's like the Jags could you know. hey. >> I don't like it okay cuz the Colts are. AFC South Kings the ball club. >> we just hadn't won the crown a long time. >> sure was last time recently.
>> it's been more than a decade. >> on to a new year. >> like 10 years decade or is different. like you guys say something different. around here for a decade. >> yeah more than 10 years I I think it's. been 11 or 12 but it ain't about that. >> it's a decade plus. >> okay it ain't about that Houston Texas. are a good football team. Team. >> Jacksonville Jaguars feels like they're. actually they're playing in Orlando, too. You normally whenever you have to. play somewhere other than your home. stadium, it's like kind of ass, right? It's normally not good. Orlando is. awesome. >> Beautiful city. >> Orlando and the stadium is the perfect.
size. It'll it'll definitely feel it's. going to be like perfect for them. >> Titans are yodelling. >> Titans are better than the COLTS NOW, TOO. >> NO, SIR. Thank you. >> They've won a division title this. decade. All right, let's let's talk. about the Colts. Go ahead, Ty. >> Yeah, speaking of the Colts, Chef, you. reported over the weekend that the Colts. and uh Kenny Moore have kind of mutually. agreed, hey, we need to find a trade. partner. You know, this is this is a. good run, but it's over. Uh what's the. latest on that situation? And if this is. going to happen, how quickly do you.
think we'll see Kenny Mo uh with a new. team? >> I I think that you always see a slew of. moves made draft weekend. Like to me it. wouldn't surprise day two, day three, we. saw Kenny Moore dealt at that point in. time to a team that likes him that. didn't get a slot cornerback that it. wanted that comes up in the last like. you always see moves like that made. around the draft. So I think that's the. first and next window to see a Kenny. Moore trade here uh day three or so. And.
look, it's out there. People know that. he's available and it sounds like he and. the Colts have had very amanable. conversations. They're both on the same. page here and uh it's only question now. where he's sent to during the draft. I. would guess. >> amanable is certainly a good way to. describe those conversations. If you. were to use another word uh instead of. amanable, you would say no. Amiable. >> Amenable. Amendable or amanable? >> I you said amable. Two different words. I don't know to be honest. I I don't.
know what either of them mean. I I. didn't know if you were saying amicable. I don't know if you were saying what is. amanable. Well, I don't know here. Amable and amicable. Amenable. Like. there's there's a lot of options here. >> I'm talking your words. I'm trying TO. FIGURE OUT WHAT. YOU I'M TRYING to figure out what you. said, Michigan man. Okay. I'm trying to. figure out your big brain. You said. Kenny and the Colts have had some. amanable conversations. Is that mean. >> is open to suggestions? >> Amicable. >> Hey, hold on though. Amable is open to. suggestions. So they probably.
>> Exactly. They're both amanable. conversations. >> Exactly. >> I think this would be amenable. potentially. Someone open this. >> AMENABLE. >> NO, BUT AMENABLE TOO. YOU NEVER KNOW. HEY, >> you know the whole thing. >> Sound like you're from London. >> YEAH. HELLO, GOVERNOR. IT'S ALWAYS FUN. whenever you could do that. Uh, chin up, mate. Um, whenever you say amanable and. amicable and everything, you're saying. they both understand that they're done. Basically, this is kind of one of those. situations. >> Yeah. Yeah. They're they're they're. here's a here's a a very basic way for.
me to say what I was trying to say when. I came off like the [ __ ] that I am. B. They're on the same page here, Pat. They're on the same page. >> Yeah. We are the [ __ ] not you, brother. Don't you worry about any of. that. Okay. So, Kenny Moore, we would. like to say thank you for your service, Indianapolis. >> Kenny, >> he showed up here and bought out. He had. great moxy. He represented the Colts. very well in the community. He's beloved. here in Indianapolis. And uh celebration. is sweet. I mean, Kenny Kenny Mo is. beloved here in Indianapolis. So if him.
and the organization have the similar. feeling as the city and he have and just. is like hey thank you for everything. Obviously she just hasn't worked. Maybe. we get a positive outcome for you. That's good [ __ ] I appreciate that. that's happening. We will miss Kenny Mo. though. >> I mean let's not. >> came to the old office. >> Yeah we love Hey. >> Kenny's gone. We need some leaders. >> That's what I'm saying. Kenny is I. thought Kenny was. >> great on the field. He reached the mark. I believe he became one of the highest. paid slot corners when he signed his. last deal. And then obviously on the. football field, nine years here,
>> unbelievable time, especially as an. undrafted free agent. And then off the. field, he's been great in the community. as well. Walter Pton man of the year. Um, just, you know, we got nothing but. great things to say about Kenny. He's. got a lot of good football left. >> GOOD LUCK, KENNY. >> We got him, Kenny. >> I don't love that. That's just, you. know, >> lost the win. A lot of guys are jumping. ship. >> Got kind of got to respect it. >> Respect what? >> How much can you take, you know? Hey, nothing's changing around here. I guess. I'll just get me out of here.
>> No, it was amanable. Okay, let's uh talk. about amanable things. Uh that is a team. and their draft prospects. We're getting. close, very close. Obviously, Wrestlemania is this weekend and then. the draft, the NFL draft is next week. Dreams are going to come true. Lives are. going to change and potentially pillar. players are going to land in their homes. forever. Uh, cannot wait for that. Let's. go to some convos around that entire. thing next Thursday night live from.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Cannot wait to. be there live. Shrekes and Diggs will be. in their uh trailer of uh brain trailer. that the football brail the brainer. >> Yep. >> The football brainer. >> Yep. >> Live from the football brainer right. behind our set here. Toengs will be in. there obviously covering that. We'll. have all the boys. We got some special. guests lined up. Cannot wait to. celebrate the next generation of NFL. superstars. But on that note, Tone has a.
question for you, Shifty. >> Yeah, Shifty, since it is next week, you. know, storylines are kind of coming. together now. Obviously, everybody knows. the draft 99% starts at number two, whether that's going to be Arll Reese or. David Bailey or maybe somebody else. But. besides that, what do you think the. story lines are? What's the biggest. headline that you're watching going into. this final week before the draft? >> Well, that's a great question. I know. Uh we're in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's got. more picks than any team in the league. right now. They got well going into the.
draft. >> And Pittsburgh right now also doesn't. have an answer from its quarterback. Now. I know that we everybody expects him. back, believes he's going to be back, but the last I checked they were getting. an answer or they thought they were. getting an answer 30 days after the. season. That hasn't come. Then they thought. it'll be mid-March. That hasn't come. Then it was supposed to be Art Rooney. said he was hoping to have an answer by. the start of the draft. So, we're. waiting to see if number eight weighs in. and and commits or doesn't commit or.
announces his intentions to come back. and play or not. And again, I know. everybody expects he's going to be back. We all believe he's going to be back, but he still doesn't give him an answer. So, if he hasn't given given them an. answer by the time the draft starts next. week, >> do the Pittsburgh Steelers at some point. in time draft quarterback? Do they draft. a quarterback anyway? How high do they. draft a quarterback? Just think it's. kind of an interesting little question. here that's sitting there until number. eight weighs in. Now again, you know. what would be cool? >> What would be cool is if at some point. in the draft.
he walked out on the stage and announced. he was coming back. >> like WWE. Renegade. They play Renegade and he. comes walking out to announce the. Steelers. Like that would be that would be pretty. cool to do this. Mama, I'm in. my life. I'm not alone. >> Holy [ __ ] Is that right? >> Not even Thursday. He's doing it day. three. He's doing it Saturday.
>> Remember he was going to do that at Big. Night Out, too. >> Yeah, that that was certainly a lot of. expectation that other people were. putting on a program that wasn't. possible. Feels like that happens in. wrestling a pretty good amount as well. But Big Night Out certainly had those. situations. It would be incredible if. Aaron Rogers walks out, does the dap up. with Gadell. Yep. >> Full circle moment because remember his. draft night wasn't the most fun. Yeah. >> He comes out. >> to mama. >> sticks renegade place starts sensing a. little bit. Holy [ __ ].
That is him. He starts walking across. the stage. He goes, "Yes, he inserts. Yes, you can hear me." And this is. exactly what Aaron Rogers would. definitely want to do. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. Stand. Stand. Yell at me. and he. walks over to Roger Goodell, goes, "I. got this one, Chief." Okay. Pushes him. to the side, >> grabs the card with the eighth pick of. the NFL draft, a man who's going to be. joining a team that I will be the. starting quarterback for. And it plays,
>> ladies and gentlemen, welcome. He opens. it up, goes, "Damn, this is a terrible. pick.". >> Quarterback Ty Simpson. >> It would, but that would be a great. moment. I mean, I'll tell you what, if. Gadell would let him maybe maybe we get. a gut punch and we do a stunner in this. entire thing. Something like that for. the eighth pick, that would be dope. And. AJ, you would know better than us. >> That sounds like something that would be. right down his kind of lane, right? >> Yeah. He He's been real mum on his. plans, but now that you lay it out like.
that, Yeah. Why would he not? He might. start the draft and say, "Hey, I'm. coming back." And then then Goodell. comes out. So, it's a big big pop off. the bat. >> Oh, welcome to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the home. I mean, nobody nobody's heard. anything on the top. It just it just. keeps being pushed down the line. And at. some point, like I. >> What are they saying, Shifty? What are. they telling you? >> Push down the line. >> What do the team say? The team's got to. be if there team's frustrated, wouldn't. they reach out to you and let you know? >> Oh, >> that's not what the Steelers do. >> They're They're not frustrated. I again, okay, I just think people thought there.
would be an answer. I remember hearing. like asking various people and they're. like, "Yeah, we should have an answer. here in 30 days." Okay, great. Well, 30. days came and went. Oh, I'm like, where. are we now? Where are we now? Answer. And like, yeah, you know, we should have. an answer mid-March. I'm like, great. Okay. Well, we're mid-March. We We have. an No, now we have our Rooney saying, I. we expect to have an answer before the. draft. We can have an answer. I don't. know. Wait and see. >> He's busy. Mercury got 10 more days. Mercury's in retro Mercury's in. retrograde. How's he going to make. decision when Mercury's in retrograde?
>> Okay. You don't What does that mean? Is. that amanable to What does that mean? What you just Well, when the Mercury's. in retrograde, his stones don't align. Okay. So, he's not seeing the world. clearly. >> His stones are. >> I think you're making a mockery out of. something. That's not real. >> Is there no crystal shops in Pittsburgh? >> There is a lot of crystal shops in. Pittsburgh. Thank you VERY MUCH. >> GUY'S BUSY HAVING SEX. CAN YOU GUYS JUST. RELAX? >> Got too much stuff in his right now. Once he depletes all that, then he's. ready to play. >> Not yet on his time. Okay.
>> Yeah, cuz he is in good shape. We know he is in good shape. So, I do. like that ownership has come out. We're. expecting an answer before the draft. That's a big statement, you know, that. that's a big statement. But once again, in the NFL, uh, you know, draft will. come and go and then like three days. afterwards, that statement doesn't. matter anymore. Yeah. You know, because. everything could change. Speaking of. everything changing, there's some rumors. of buzz about what Thursday night could. look like into the weekend. Go ahead, Debb. >> Yeah. From what you're hearing, are we.
expecting a uh tradeheavy draft this. weekend? Well, next weekend. >> It's a good question. I think usually. the way that trades are driven in a. draft are from quarterbacks. And with the lack of them in the first. round, I don't think that we're going to. get more trades than usual in the first. round. Look, we've already seen more. player trades this off season from where. we are now than any offseason in NFL.
history. So, the trading part has come. with players. And I still think that we. still could get more player trades on. draft weekend. And there will be the. usual activity of some teams jocking. around the board, moving up, moving. back, but I don't think it'll be more. than usual. And it might just be less. than usual because again last year if we. think about it um the Giants jumped up. to 25 I believe to go get uh Jackson.
Dart. And is somebody trading up to 25. for Tai Simpson this year again? Maybe, maybe not. That could happen. If it. does, that'd be one trade, but that. would be the only quarterback trade. So, I think we're certainly not gonna get. more movement across the board, I'm not. expecting, in a draft like this, but. there always is some. >> Okay. >> Is Dexter going to be dancing out there? >> Oh, yeah. >> They got to figure that out. >> Yeah, they they they definitely do. >> Not the only one.
>> Dexter definitely does need to be deemed. done, you know, for them uh sooner than. later because this is somebody that what. everybody would want. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. This is a uh we can get Sexy Dexi. on our team. A guy who I think everybody. thinks is hilarious. >> Yeah. >> And is also unbelievable at football. >> That's crazy because his contract says. he's not going to get paid as much as. somebody who is an elite passer rusher. or Dlineman. But he certainly thinks he. but they have two years, right? Is that. isn't that uh though they have two years. of this thing?
>> Yes. >> That's right. >> That's not a lot of leverage. But if you. obviously put it into the world that. potentially available John Harbaugh, is. he going to just move on from Dexter. Lawrence? John Harbaugh's always had a. great defense. Always had a great. defense. >> He saw it coming. He said, "I saw it a. couple weeks ago. >> The Giants." Okay. I ran into some. Giants folks. >> Mhm. >> Uh this weekend at a golf tournament, Sher. and they seemingly have a lot of hope. >> Oh yeah. >> Like like they are.
>> they're the team this year. >> They are very very very optimistic. That. was pretty cool to hear because. obviously we experienced Bruce every day. where he's like, "Yeah, this is the year. we're really doing it." It feels like. there is a sense of optimism amongst the. Giants fans. Would Dexter getting sent. out of town diminish that or help that? How would you feel about that, Bruce? >> Well, first of all, I'm not going to. answer that. >> I'm not convinced they I I don't think. they want to trade him. I think they. prefer to hold on to him. But the. question is, can they figure out. something that's going to keep Sexy Dexy. happy and keep him in New York? And.
that's what we're going to find out. here. Uh but if you go back to last. year, there was a period point in time, a brief period when Cam Scatteraboo was. healthy and it was right before Malik. Neighbors went down and Jackson Dart. started playing. Like I said, a brief. period where you looked at that team and. they had more juice than any recent. Giants team, which isn't saying a lot, but they looked like one of the most. exciting young teams in football. They. were a team that looked like they were. going to compete for a playoff spot, have a chance for a playoff run, and.
then they lose neighbors, and things. started going south, and the season. dissolved from there. But right now, they've got to figure out this Dexter. Lawrence issue. He obviously wants to. have his contract addressed. He's coming. off a slightly down year compared to. what he's played like in other years, uh, all pro in other years. And so, the. Giants are trying to figure out a way to. make him happy. They'd rather not deal. them, but I can tell you there are teams. out there that are trying to figure out. if there's a way they can make it. happen. >> Okay, let's talk quickly about another. trade uh that just took place. Dantavian.
Wixs heads over to Philadelphia. They. also brought in Hollywood Brown, right, this off season. And this is all with a. bunch of AJ Brown smoke kind of. happened. >> Elijah Moore they brought in as well. >> The the Patriots obviously were a. talking point because of Raes's. relationship. with AJ Brown. And whenever people saw. what they were like in Tennessee, they. obviously start linking them together up. there to New England. Is this Are they. just trying to get a 100 wad? What are. we How's this more weapons? What are.
your thoughts on moving Dantavian Wix to. the Philadelphia Eagles? >> Yeah, >> I I think there's a case where an AJ. Brown trade remains in play. I think. there's every possibility that he could. be traded. Everybody around the league. believes that. doesn't mean it happens, but it's certainly on the table. And so, the Eagles have taken the steps they. need to. Now, you know, you could look. at it the other way and say, okay, they. went out and added Elijah Moore, too. Elijah Moore and AJ Brown were college. teammates. Maybe you're trying to entice. AJ Brown, but I think when all said and.
done, I I think I'd lean him being. traded. And they now have gone out and. added Dantavian Wixs. They've added. Hollywood Brown. They've added Elijah. Moore. I I I think they've taken off. some of the emphasis that they need to. go get a wide receiver, let's just say. in round one. Like I would think that. they're going to draft a wide receiver. here at some point in time. Um I still. think the chance of an AJ Brown trader. real real. >> Okay. This is the first time you've said. that. Just a couple seconds ago you said.
you think he is going to get traded. I. think in my brain immediately went like, whoa, is that new information? I was. just at a golf tournament that didn't. allow cell phones on the course after. gez the last two days. I I didn't know. if this was just known stuff or and I. was sitting in the sun and I got. scorched. Do Did we I I think we've done. a lot of they don't want to move on from. him. They don't want to move on from. him. This feels like the first time I've. heard you say that they are probably. going to move on from him. >> Well, I I I think I've been pretty. consistent. I've leaned more likely to. trade than not, and I'm still in that.
camp. >> Further on that camp in that camp. >> Say that again. >> Further into that camp now with the. Dantavian Wix trade. Uh that didn't move. my needle at all. It I mean to me it's. just it's just another sign that they. are willing to move on from it. Just. another sign like reinforcing what we. thought all along which is that a trade. is in play remains in play and that. there's real possibility it's going to. happen. >> You're saying a needle can't get a. little emotion with the Dantavian Wix.
trade but it certainly solidifies some. thoughts that we've had for a while. I. like that. Okay, last question here. Chef on NFL news comes from Don D. Go. ahead, con man. >> Yeah, chef, you basically could tell. said, "Hey, get used to Australia. We're. coming back here. We love it here. Everyone's all in down in the Bobby.". Uh, can we assume that they're going to. end up starting the season in Australia. for the coming years just because it's. going to be too tough to fit in some. sort of Australia game midseason, week.
five, whatever you want to call it, or. what what's kind of your read on what. Gadell is saying here about the NFL. staying in Australia for the long haul? Well, what I would say is that the. league has typically opened the seasons. with the Super Bowl champion on Thursday. night, and this year they modified that. to move the Seahawks to Wednesday night. for the first time since 2012 when. Barack Obama had the Democratic National. Convention on Thursday night. So, here's. a case where if they move it to. Wednesday and it works with Australia on.
is that Thursday night? It's Thursday. night, Friday morning in in Australia. 10:35 a.m. in Australia, Thursday night. in the States. If it works, the league. is going to do whatever it can to grow. the game internationally. And if. Australia takes to the game as the. league is expecting, and the game is a. success, as the league is expecting, I. don't know why they wouldn't be back. there again next year. Now, would it be. the same weekend? I don't know. They. could always plan it around a team's buy. in the middle of the year and make sure. that those two teams had a buy the next.
weekend. But if Australia hits this year. the way that everybody thinks it will, then it could absolutely become a. regular part of the international. rotation because we're just going to see. more and more international games. And. if and when we get to the 18 game. schedule, >> oh my god, >> then I think we get to the point where. everybody's playing at least one. international game. And and look, all. you have to do is pay attention to. what's going on here. The NFL is. divvying up territories across the world. like it's Monopoly streets. Everybody.
gets some street. So you're an NFL. franchise, you get the Italy rights. >> That's the Browns. >> Clearly, right? Yeah. So So everybody's. getting rights to cities and and they're. not doing that for the fun of it. They're doing it because those teams are. going to be playing there. >> I can't wait to see the game in Fiji in. >> Oh, that'll be sick. >> Norway. >> Oh, >> up in the mountains. >> My word. >> Pi. >> Come on. >> There's got to be There's got to be some. No, it wouldn't stink to try. It would.
be a dream to be able to do these things. up in the Alps. There was a country I. played soccer in in the Alps. >> Likenstein. >> There it is. It the stadium was right in. the middle. >> Oh, we've seen. >> all the roads lead to the stadium of the. entire country basically. And I I got a. chance to play soccer as a teenager. there. It was awesome. Just kind of. watch them. They would certainly pile in. for Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay. Packers in Lenstein. >> Abu Dhabi. >> OH MY GOD. I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
where they can use those fans that were. used for the World Cup. >> Remember, cuz it was so hot they had to. put fans into the stands and they. actually were just blowing fans. everywhere. We have air moving moving. around in there. >> That's where WE'RE HEADED. HUH? SAY HOT. >> That's That's where That's where the. game's going. Think about that. >> Greenland. >> Yeah. >> Remember we were at the Pro Football. Hall of Fame down in the basement of uh. looking at the vault of all the old. [ __ ]. >> Oh yeah. Do you think whenever they were. drawing the grid for the grid iron five. by five yards by five by yards had to do. that because people were dying in the.
previous version of that. Do you think. they would say we got a game in. Australia? >> Lamar so far away. >> in the middle seat on that plane. >> writing a letter. You [ __ ] have no. idea what is possible. >> with our great game. It's incredible. where the game's going. We're obviously. pumped about it. And Gadell said coaches. enough. >> Mhm. >> Okay. You're you're all adults. >> But with all due respect, they don't. care what the coaches say. Like Kyle. Shinak, he can play all he wants. They.
want him in Australia. He's going to. Australia. That's the way it goes. >> Yeah. That's what Gadell said. He said, "Coaches, you know, they went their own. routine. If they had it their way, they. play 1:00, 4:00 every single Sunday, they'd be able to do." He's He. understands. He understands. Yeah. And I. have no jet lag. Science told us. basically what to do later the other. day. I'm fantastic. So, >> we could do a relatively easy trip. >> Yeah. So. >> what he said he said he's got an app. He'll share it with Sh. >> Yeah, we have science to figure this. out. The science is and I learned this. from uh Bull Rush URA. Okay, shout out.
Bull Rush. We are landing in the morning. over there. Okay, so just easiest way to. look at this. If you're landing in the. morning, you need to be waking up. whenever that thing lands. Now to get to. a point in which you can fall asleep and. then wake up in the L. That's the. struggle. That's where you're having a. 24-hour day. That's where you're. fighting through, but you're going to be. so exhausted you might sleep nine, eight. and a half, nine hours there. So, as. long as you can get to the final end of. that flight, you can just and then. you're up and then it is just like.
another day. I landed in Brisbane. Well, I landed in uh Melbourne, then I went to. Brisbane. Not close at all, >> which is a far flight, too, right? >> Not close at all. The place is [ __ ]. gigantic over there. I did not know. that. I thought we could get a car. I. was like, we got a couple days. I'm. like, this would be sick. go see some. Ruth, drive through here, let me go. maybe stop by Irwin's place. They're. like, that's nowhere near here. And also. Brisbane, okay, you're gonna be driving. a long time. It's like, all right, sweet. I guess I'll fly. You land there, it's just a morning. Like, you just lay,
you just wake up and it's a day. Wasn't. that big of a problem. Coming back was. the biggest issue I had. >> Coming back. >> Yeah, they're got to play a football. game. >> Yeah, coming back was the issue. >> Well, they got to play against somebody. who had to deal with the same [ __ ] right. >> out there. But coming back week two, no, it's probably some team that was just. chilling. the the first one in Austral. >> it's all [ __ ] We don't need to be. going to Australia. >> Everybody's different, too. Everybody. tons OF PEOPLE. AUSTRALIA IS AWESOME. >> I agree. We don't even be playing. football there. Go. We go on vacation. Yeah, >> we're going on vacation. Australia. We're living good. That's a long. >> Yeah. Where are we going? I You know, I.
would never do that, but some people. would. As long as the East Coast. >> Anything else we need to talk about in a. Go ahead. Sorry, Shter. You're gonna say. something. >> No, I remember I went to Australia with. the Denver Broncos back in 1997 or. eight. They played a preseason game. there. We went there for three, four. days and I remember coming home and with. all due respect to the commissioner, I. remember I was a little bit jetlagged. >> Careful. >> The way home's tough. The way home is. the. >> You don't have the app. You didn't have. the app though at that time. >> We got signs. We got signs. >> Don't you worry about it. We got little.
things. You just kind of slip one of. these in. You wake up. >> Bread out bushy tail, baby. We got the. rest of football season to play. We're. excited for that. Draft feels like we're. getting close to the NFL season. That is. a beautiful thing. Obviously, Mast's. weekend with Chef's been I don't know if. you guys know this. >> May death. >> Chef's been here many times. He actually. told us a lot of information about it, didn't he? >> Yeah, basically everything. >> Yeah, he told us a lot of information. earlier. Uh we heard it. We heard it, but he loved it. He absolutely loved it. How could you not? Draft next week. We. appreciate you. We'll see you over in. Pittsburgh. >> Yeah, I look forward to it. It'll be.
awesome. It's uh this is one of the best. times in the NFL calendar. Uh 10 days. away here and it's going to start. picking up here. Look forward to it. >> You're the man. Let's drive some. When's the schedule release? >> May May here. Oh, yeah. I'm glad you. brought that up. >> May Tuesday, May 12th, Wednesday, May. 13th, Thursday, May 4. Right in that. window, it'll be. >> Wow. Sorry. That sweet spot, man. >> 12 134 know who's going where, when, okay? And that's what it's all about.
And I know that where we're headed is a. place where you and Raport are going to. be a tag team of breaking news. Oh, >> wow. Tag team champs. Yeah, I don't think Chev is saving it. Whoa. She's. >> saving it. Hey, we appreciate your guys'. contribution to sport. Actually, you're. the man. Ladies and gentlemen, senior. NFL insider for ESPN, Adam. >> Shar. I do a little. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah, >> cuz that I ain't giving any news. >> Oh, no. That rles him up because there. was that story that came out that. basically said like they they view uh.
Raport as the air parent to Adam Shester. and he basically said when I was doing. his podcast like, "I ain't [ __ ]. retiring. That ain't happening anytime. soon." But he was he was he was pretty. fired up about that. >> So he covers he covers the NFL a lot. Okay. Quarterbacks in the middle of. their prime. Another quarterback gets. drafted as a young. He reports it. Hey, you got to do what you got to do. Now he. is. >> Mhm. >> Oh. >> Quarterback in prime. >> Oh yeah. >> And there's others saying it. I don't. know who has said that. That is the. situation here. He has not said that. He.
has not been told that. I assume. >> a lot of people just finding out how old. Shifty is too. >> Yes. looks amazing. >> Every day. >> he's like a Montana Steve Young like. >> Sheffy is an animal. >> And I don't think he thinks about. stopping ever. >> No. No. >> So whenever people are like when this. old hag Shfter's done, this guy will. step right in. Chef's like, >> who [ __ ] runs the game? >> Okay. Who you know how long I've worked. to get to the top of this place? What do. we even And he doesn't have a. >> He's a coach. Shifty's a coach. He's.
going to die with both phones in his. hand just like old coach dying with a. clicker. >> There's a chance. Hell, it might be. three phones by then. We don't know what. technology would have a contact. neuroink. Neuroink. >> Yeah. Yeah. Plugged in. We've seen. others. >> Heard of others at least. All right. We're back tomorrow somehow. We can't. thank you enough for allowing us to do. this for a living. We'll continue. digitally. YouTube, ESPN Plus, Disney. Plus, Tik Tok Live, and X. And then. Sports Centers on the other side of this. three-minute break. Be a friend. Tell a. friend something nice and might change. their life. We're in this together, aren't we? Tomorrow. I missed the.
tomorrow. I should say, but it sound. like a cough, probably. >> No. >> No. >> Scared to death to sneeze. >> Oh, I bet. >> Oh, yeah. >> Down there. >> Pollen everywhere. >> Oh. >> Oh, yeah. >> I'll tell you what, I I DIDN'T KNOW. POLLEN COULD DO WHAT HE WAS DOING down. there. >> Oh, yeah. >> Clarity. >> There's a thick layer around here as. well. Big time. >> It's that time we got to stay seed up. >> Yeah, seed up. Clarity ain't doing [ __ ]. for. >> Somebody seized right before Rory's. about to take a shot late. >> Yeah, he stepped off.
>> Stepped off, guys. Boots on the ground. I'd like to let. everybody know Rory's allergies used to. it because he'd been there for the last. three, four weeks. He had the honey, local honey probably, which I've been. told kind of helps with the entire. thing. Yeah. After good dading, nobody. in the entire How could you not really? But the P it did feel there was a couple. of these for me, >> you know, sneezing. Oh my god. >> Oh my god. There was a guy. I mean, we were right next to this guy. and it's just like you start getting a.
little bit of a tickle. >> Feel it coming. Yeah. >> It's like, "No way, dude. No [ __ ] way. is this about to happen right now." Cuz. I think I'm maybe banned immediately if. you do that. Like cuz they would think. it's on purpose. >> Yeah. >> All of a sudden it took a little bit. longer. They told us to back up. I was. able to do a down in there and then kind. of back up and kind of get into it. But. there was a chance where he was at when. he was at it with the tickle that I was. feeling that [ __ ] was coming at some. point after. >> setup after after it was going to maybe.
>> when he's in motion. >> it might have been maybe with the way he. was addressing ball at time the way it. was moving that which I don't know what. is it. >> can somebody [ __ ] explain to me what. it is how can can we beat this thing how. do we beat these things. >> clarin you got to get clarin don't think. that you can just take one pill you got. to basically be on that thing for two. weeks and then that you're going to then. you're going to be good moving forward. But if you wake up one morning like my. allergies are [ __ ] terrible and you. take one of those things, it's not going. to do anything unfortunately.
>> You can't beat it. What about it when I. feel the tickle? >> Oh yeah. No. >> How do I do it? Do I blow it out? >> Really? At that point, you're kind of. just submitting. You're lucky. >> You talking about sneezing? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Oh, I mean you just got you got to go ahead. and sneeze at some point, right? You got. to let it go. >> Good for you. >> No, I agree. Augusta Nast golf course. >> No, I think in that. >> I'm surprised Augusta doesn't have. filters for the pollen. They got someone. building like building some things. Yeah. To to take the pollen out there. just for that week or something.
>> Georgia tissues. We got a pollen count. here in Indianapolis. It's 9.3. >> Oh, [ __ ] me. >> [ __ ] me. >> That's not good. >> Two weeks away. >> Yeah. Two weeks away layer of it. Oh. yeah, >> dude. Foxy Foxy this weekend sounded. like he was chewing on. >> so raspy all weekend. >> People were made like you got a. >> unique voice. >> Is this the country singer?
>> It was unbelievable. Ran into Wright. Thompson. >> Mhm. >> He He's got the juice. >> He do a voiceover again this year. >> Yes, he did about him and his dad and. the story that he told there is I think. it was very nice for us to be able to. hear it. Outstanding. >> because it is like he talked like from. the south. >> Yeah. >> Like hey, this is how this is viewed, >> you know. >> And it was [ __ ] great. >> It felt very genuine. >> And this was before we drank some uh. bourbon that is very hard to get.
>> Very hard to get. I was told directly. from the bourbon company, owner of. company. >> Okay. >> When I asked, "So, how how do you get. this stuff? How would I go about getting. this stuff because it's so good?" Go to. all local liquor store. Sign up for the. lottery. >> A lottery. People waiting. People wait. outside 6 a.m. like 50 people deep. Yeah, >> I know. Why? The the oldfashioned I had. was delicious. >> Oh my god, it was so delightful. I said, "Okay, I So when do I When do I When. does that is that happening? Right now?".
>> Yeah, you're doing that, right? >> I don't know when it's happening. >> Definitely. >> I don't know if any booze is worth that. No. And I love drinking booze. I don't know if I'm going to be going. around to every liquor store trying to. find it. And then if you can't just be. like, "All right, well, [ __ ] I guess. I'm not drinking this.". >> No, I think once you taste it though, you think to yourself, I would like to. have this again. >> Which is kind of. >> I think the experience that we had. >> They didn't gift you one. >> No. >> Well, that's what I was hoping. >> There's only a certain amount of. bottles, brother. It's. >> true. >> Yeah, exactly. >> We're not doing gifts. They'll do uh.
they do a lot of charity, a lot of like. uh giveaways and things like that, which. is obviously fantastic. But. >> yeah, there's only a certain certain. amount of bottles. >> So they say. I mean, it's true. That. could be their gimmick. But whatever the. case is, it's worked for a long time. Yeah. 30 1935. >> Yeah. Long time. >> 1935. >> And those barrels had to be before 1935. >> Mhm. >> So, you're talking like. >> talking prohibition. >> Actually, there was six distilleries. that were still allowed to operate. during Prohibition. Actually, uh,
hundreds of them got shut down. Just so. happened that this was one that they. were a part of. You learn this in a. quick story or. >> I I I know a lot about the [ __ ]. bourbon business. I heard a lot. I heard. a lot and I was very close to person. given presentation. Have a lot of. respect for person given presentation. best. >> and but when you're there you're on. stage. >> Yeah. >> I was I I was you know everybody's. looking. >> Yeah. >> Phone right there. Hadn't had phone all. day. So would like to maybe catch up but.
then disrespectful and people watching. me do that. Also, there was a TV on. right next to us, too. Couldn't look at. it, though. >> I couldn't look at it. >> Yeah. Story. >> Everybody else could though cuz it was. right behind speech staring at. >> because if I was to do this one, guy. giving a speech right here. >> Disrespect. >> So, Texas Oklahoma softball game. >> Great game. >> battle. Saw it out of periph.
Whoa. Okay, then look at Foxy. Did you [ __ ]. get that? You need to learn a little. something. Me and Foxy were certainly in. the only positions where we had we were. kind of the background back background. dancers for the guy story. >> Yeah. I had to listen. >> and we had no idea what was coming. So, we didn't know when what was happening. to what. Yeah. So certainly scene. >> And then we got a swing lesson. We did. do that. >> You guys were swinging. >> Now whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What? No, no. Golf. >> Oh,
>> golf. No pineapples at that place. >> Showed up. >> No, no, no. There was a uh. >> No, no, he did not. He would have loved. it though. He would have loved the the. bourbon. >> speech like most Chris from Iowa, the. Quad Cities. >> Oh, hell yeah. He is uh I told him. immediately as soon as he said he was. from the Quad Cities that that place got. buried on our show by Ty Schmidt and. kind of Tyrese, but we have walked back. those statements and we appreciate him. Gave me a golf lesson. No big deal. Need. to put a backwards [ __ ] hat on. Need. to get onto a brick wall. Okay, just. like this right here. Then I need to.
take a a weight a b a weighted ball. >> Okay, >> I need to take my swing back. Well, bang. a pile. Okay, turn those shoulders a. little bit. Then I need to be able to. lift up that left leg without moving my. head off the wall. >> Do it. You got a brick wall right behind. you. I'm I'm [ __ ] doing it right now. Had the wall. I'm doing it right now. H. Okay. So, head head's on the wall right. there. Okay. You lift up your front leg. You're kind of turning on your right. leg. You're kind of loading that thing. back. And then you need to obviously put. your foot back down because you don't. need to actually lift the foot up, but. it needs to be able to be lift up. without you falling. We need balance on.
that back one. And then whatever you got. through, you need throw that balance. ball. Boom. Get you right in the slot. cuz you're right there with the brick. And you need to throw that balance ball. by right to the hips of somebody that is. uh about 9 10 ft away. >> Okay. >> Wow. It's a far throw. >> And I'll tell you, uh, wearing a tank. top at said dinner, come outside, had no. idea there was going to be golf lessons. They had this thing set up pretty well. I [ __ ] went ahead and just I was. like, you can teach me how to golf right. now. He said, absolutely. I said, I. would. >> show me. >> I would like to learn how to golf. Try. to give me some putting lessons. >> You say, "Sir, I'm good on that. I don't.
need those right now.". >> You have the internet, >> sir. Do you have Spider X 250? >> Yeah, [ __ ]. >> He's a Yeah. >> Well, he didn't have it with him, actually. Um, >> Roars did, right? That's over. >> Yeah, it's probably eight out of nine. winners. Eight out of the last nine. winners probably. >> Is that that one right there? Is that. what that is? >> It's my X250 plus premium. Um I did use. one of these um at the Burkeman's uh. thing. >> Not as much success. >> Wasn't the same. >> Well, that's different. >> It wasn't yours. >> It's not yours. Probably different.
length. >> I I wonder why next if I ever get. invited again, I'm bringing my putter. Yeah, you should bring your most. patrons. Bring your whole bag and get some metal. metal tip spikes to wear. Yeah. >> God. See, somebody's going to write that. I said that and it's going to be a whole. thing. It's like I clearly I'm joking. I. know you walk through metal detectors in. there because I thought to myself, I can. get my phone in here. >> You see [ __ ] Mark Calbecia who's a. major champion. They walked in. They're. like, "Yeah, get the [ __ ] out of here, pal. We don't care.".
>> Yeah. That's a crazy thing. >> Yeah. They'll kick anybody out. >> Yeah. I saw that going in. And there. ain't there ain't no. >> They don't care. >> You don't There's no [ __ ] You're. looking around there's a I mean patron. just immediately to Foxy in the paint. >> self polic like that's important. >> I mean Foxy was you should have seen. this guy we're talking about. >> made yourself at home Foxy or what. >> yeah had to do it I had to feel the. grounds I had to feel like a player I. had to feel like I was playing Augusta. you never know I may never go back again. I might not win the lottery like she was.
talking about I don't get invited to. these things okay guys. >> see he was holding hands with his wife. this gentleman. >> yeah he was mad. >> he. Only frown I seen all day was cuz. [ __ ] Yankee Foxy came to town. >> Unbelievable. >> Walking all over the grounds. You don't. deserve it. [ __ ] boy is basically what. this guy said. >> Foxy Foxy was probably yelling meat and. potatoes and stuff after drives. >> Oh, that's a whole another thing. >> Mashed potatoes. >> I'll tell you what, I was in hell. I was.
in hell. I don't know what's right to. say. Never really done a golf tournament. before, let alone doing [ __ ] Augusta. I'm four feet away from Scotty Sheffler. right now. >> Okay. >> You say hi. >> I did a couple Scotty. Couple of those. Couple of those. Couple. of those. >> Baby, Scotty. >> But there were some moments where it was. like. kind of quiet. No actions happening. We're waiting on the leaderboard to. change. They just finished the hole. They're walking right by us right here.
It was like some chatter. It's like, oh. my god. just on it potential. to like 10 guys. I was like, "This isn't. about you. Shut the [ __ ] up. Now is not. the time." And I just [ __ ] kept the. hat on. [ __ ] sunglasses. Let's go. ahead and uh. >> let's just not say a [ __ ] thing. A. couple of those. But boy, there was just. so many moments where it was like it. would definitely pop. This would be a. great pop. Got a good feel for the lads. that I'm around right now. It was a. great group we were around. We were with. these people for like a [ __ ] hour. with no phones. It's amazing how you can.
have to be forced to community, you. know, and this community all loved what. we were watching. Was having a good. time. Obviously, all everybody trying. not to get in each other's way. You you. just set your chairs. >> Yeah. >> Other people allowed to use your chairs. But then when you come back, it's your. chair. >> I love that. >> Love that. >> Norfolk Southern Train Company. Okay. >> Nice. Good. >> Mr. George. >> Mhm. >> Legend. >> Legend. Told him I was about to buy a. train 2020. >> Mhm. Oh, it was so close.
>> Very close. >> That was a nice trip down memory lane. Trained guy. He had no idea that was. coming. >> We had a trained guy. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Kevin. >> Oh, what was his name? >> I think it was Kevin. I'm like 90% sure. it was Kevin. >> Yeah. I couldn't remember what his name. was. I said, but I talked multiple times. to a guy who has his own personal trains. and I was going to buy a train during. COVID and we were going to remember do a. show. We're going to get multiple trains. whatever those little [ __ ] are. called. The train cars. >> The cars. We're going to get multiple. cars. We're going to have one that was. going to be a studio one. We're gonna. have one that was going to open up like. a stage and then we're all gonna have. our own individual kind of.
>> rooms. This is during co. >> sounds. Yeah, dude. Yeah, it was. It was. a great idea. GREAT IDEA. >> STILL WANT TO DO IT. >> YEAH. Still and we know the people. though. Okay. Norfolk Southern, the. George family. We were very thankful for. them. Ran into them. And uh he shook. >> great group. Had a couple young lads who. were taller. A guy who played football. at Elon maybe. I think he played. football at Elon with Signetti. >> when Signetti was there. He played at. Elon and then there was another guy and. then I think the daughter was there and. the wife was there. Lisa, [ __ ] sorry,
Dave George. Rick George, I forget the. name. He's a whatever the case is. Two. lads come up, shake hand, family comes, dad looks cool. [ __ ] okay. And then I. ask like, uh, you guys come here? Are. you fans or whatever? They're like, uh, we're with uh our dad's company or. whatever. And I was like, what's. company? They say Norfolk Southern. I. thought that was like maybe blues. >> Sure. you know, like a boon uh booze. kind of sale or whatever. And they're. like, "Train company." And I was like, "Fuck yeah." That guy walked over, shook. his hand. Nice to meet you, sir.
>> I almost bought a train 2020. Let's talk. about it. Went through an entire thing. I said, "Man, I didn't know it took 10. hours to get from Indiana to [ __ ]. Illinois, though.". >> They're like, "Yeah, it's a long You got. to take a long road or track, I guess, to a lot of different places." That. would have been a good time. That's how. we were going to beat CO. That's how we. thought we were going to beat CO. >> Turns out because of Indiana laws, we. had to stay six feet away from each. other. Mhm. >> And we were able to do it just in a in a. studio and. >> we didn't have to get the train. >> Yeah. >> Yeah.
>> Cuz it's. got right at the jump right when co. popped off. >> Oh yeah. >> That was a nice trip down memory lane, man. I completely forgot about the train. [ __ ] purchase. >> Oh yeah, >> we're so close to signing the train. >> This close. >> I do remember you talking about it. I. didn't know to the extent that like the. the the train that has a stage that. opens up the studio one and then the. personal like that's a that's a. traveling circus pretty much. >> bingo that was actually part of the. conversation ringling the ring I think. they actually used to do that as. something it was I was one more day of.
blindly yeah I'm doing it away from. buying all those things one more if it. would have lasted one more day I would. have done. >> I think Wi-Fi was an issue. >> yeah we and also. >> pre-tarlink more. >> the areas in which the stations were I. think were also a. >> thing that that's what Well, that that. was the biggest thing. Like if we wanted. to get from uh basically Indiana to. Florida, we would have to stop in four. different places to get there and it. would take. >> like four days, five days. It would have. been a it would have been a But on that. note, from my understanding, Norfolk.
Southern does have a phenomenal train. with incredible setup. >> They got a dining room one with like a. open uh windows, glass, >> glass ceilings, so stars and everything. like that. They got like other ones that. are like lobbies, dance, like food. service. >> Yeah, they the trains they turned into. like actual mobile homes and I think. they had a party one night that we got. invited to on the train. >> I don't know how we would have ever got. there, but it would have been sick to go. see what they're partying on train. Yeah, it would have been awesome. >> Yeah, it would I don't. >> Just go to the nearest train stop and.
they find you. >> and do I do this one here? >> Yeah. You ring a horn or a bell or. something. >> and the party's over and you're four. hours from from home. >> Mhm. No, it takes you home. >> No, you're actually by foot or car. probably 20 minutes from home. Train. four hours. That was that was what we. learned in 2020. But that was a great. family. I mean, we talked to them a lot. They offered up their seats to us. >> Good people. >> They had great seats, too. They got. there early allegedly. We could never. find their seats because we couldn't. find them whenever we were trying to get. to their seats. >> Sure. >> And we didn't want to act like we were.
part of the train company. But people. just walk up to people, tap them on. their shoulder. Happened to us. Tap them. on their shoulder. Those are our seats. Hey, no problem. just get up and leave. >> Thank you. >> That's a great system. Captain, >> it's just a moral code, too. >> Yeah. It just wouldn't work anywhere. else. All that [ __ ] wouldn't work. anywhere else cuz everyone would be. [ __ ] about it all. And no one was. [ __ ] The whole two days we were. there, there was not one person that was. an [ __ ]. >> You were the [ __ ]. >> Yeah. But people kind of get that like, "Oh, that guy loves golf, so he's. walking on the floor.".
>> I don't know if anybody thought that. I. was looking at the faces of the people. I didn't see anybody thinking that. >> Yeah. This is a weird one, too. on those. walkways we're talking about. There's so. much foot traffic, like hundreds and. hundreds and hundreds of people on it. the whole time, but the fairway is still. perfectly green and perfectly crisp. It. makes no sense to me. >> They had a maintenance crew out there. They were a big part of the conversation. because Friday morning, Friday. afternoon, they're a bunch of dogs. Got. a chance to meet them at T-Bones last. night. They were having their post uh. Masters wrap-up. It it appeared the lads. were buzzing. I mean, a strapping group.
obviously. >> Yeah, >> that's a bluecollar bunch. And the. Masters obviously provides so much for. down there, especially for them. But. it's uh it was a special time. Rory. winning's awesome. >> Yeah, it's crazy. >> To your point earlier, D, but. >> I don't think I really was a fan of Rory. Mroy. >> Yeah, >> he had a lot of heat on him. I think he. didn't mind that he had a lot of heat on. him. Remember in one of those PGA. meetings he told somebody sit down and. shut up or something like that. One of. the other golfers. It was like. everything coming out was like Rory is. taking the PGA on his back and he is.
fighting against the evils of everything. else going on in the world and then. behind the curtains what was going on. with PGA. You know I felt like maybe. Rory was getting a little bamboozled. about what was go you know there's it's. an interesting thing but Rory has never. shied away from being heel or being. person that has to say something. I feel. like he probably thinks that because at. a young age he was crowned as golf. royalty because of how damn good he was. so early. So I think he kind of said if. not me then who for a lot of things and.
then obviously his personality and his. public persona changes a little bit. there in people's eyes. But him coming. and went in back to back with the book. that just came out all the other stuff. that was being talked about let alone. you know the last three tournaments and. everything he says gets taken in a. negative way. It's like that's an. incredible mental toughness check there. at Augusta for Rory Mroy. >> Yeah. and everybody obviously he's he's. been in that fishbowl for his entire. life and you know regardless if as long. as you perform I've kind of come to find. out for me with athletes as long as you. perform whether you are a hill a.
babyface [ __ ] a nice guy I'm probably. going to like you if you show up in the. biggest moments and you you know. everybody's talking [ __ ] at you and all. this other stuff is going on maybe away. from the course or the field or the. basketball court and you show up and you. show out for in those biggest moments. I'm be a fan obviously you know Ryder. Cup we're team USA. But when he's in. these type of tournaments and he's on. Masters, like this, this was dope to see. him get the back to back. First time. since Tiger get me just getting into the. golf a few years ago when the live [ __ ]. started. Yeah. When Tiger got in trouble.
a while ago and he got kicked off the. game. Rory was on the game. That. probably was the beginning of me not. liking him because whoever whoever it. was that replaced Tiger on that video. game I was probably going to have beef. with. But, uh, I love what he's seeing. and like, um, like Andy said earlier, he. it does seem like he he had that what. 11year break between major wins and now. it seems like he may go on another run. here and get it's crazy that he's not. already kind of unanimously in that top. 10. As a casual, I would think he would. be in that top 10 realm. When you hear. people around golf, it's like, oh, he's.
a couple majors away. >> Got to be the career grand slam, though. What? How many guys do you have the. career grand slam? Six now. >> Four. I thought it was six. What is it? >> I thought it was I thought it was four. could be wrong. >> I like that question. I don't have an. answer to. >> four. That's wild. Boom. Scotty hadn't. even done that yet, right? Scotty's miss. the US Open, isn't he? >> Scotty, like Scotty Dick didn't even. play well and was just another ho home. second for Scotty. >> Yeah, >> that's the thing with Scotty is history. too in the weekend, right? But bogey.
free weekend. like 1940. That's why those people who. are pissed off about like Mroy playing a. bunch leading up to it. Is he the first. guy to ever do that? Like, why wouldn't. Yeah. Tiger play. Yeah. Why would they. be pissed? And also, if you're Scotty. and the other guys, why aren't you doing. that? Like, why aren't you going to the. Masters instead of, you know, playing in. the Valero Texas Open, whatever, and. just going there and getting in. >> good money. They're showing up for the. fans,
too. So, that might be normally. >> Yeah. But normally, I mean, if you have. one, like that makes a lot of sense. that, hey, let me make sure I go win. this thing again. >> Just a terrible question. Awful is what. he said. >> Yeah, that that was incredible. >> He's got an in he's got a newborn at. home, too. >> Yeah. >> He's just. Okay. >> You shot a 65. What should it have been? You think? >> Here he is. Here he is. Uh with his. presser after. >> 65 today. What did it feel like it could. have or should have been?
That's just a terrible question. >> Awful. >> What enabled you to what enabled you to. go low today? Uh, >> Marty, as soon as what enabled you to go. low today, that's what it should have. been. You did good today. >> A boy, Marty. >> Yeah, that was a [ __ ] awful question, Scotty. Uh, what do you think, >> dude? You went real low today. We should. talk about that, I think, is what you. were saying there. Yeah. Yeah. Framing. terrible. Just awful. And then him after. saying, "I wish I would have had a.
better start coming into the weekend.". Like Scotty, we we've said this here for. the last like year or so, I guess. So, it's not like breaking news, but he's. becoming a lot more comfortable being. who he is. >> Yeah. >> Knowing exactly who the [ __ ] he is. That. is great for us. I agree, AJ. >> Yeah. And I think Scotty's even. committed to play this coming weekend in. whatever events coming up. RBC, I. believe. >> Yeah. RBC. Uh they are. Yeah. In Hilton. Head, right up the road from Augusta. Man, >> this guy. I mean, Scotty's gonna Is. Scotty going Who? Okay. Who's getting.
more majors? Scotty or uh or uh Rory? >> Scotty. >> What's Scotty? I know. >> I mean, Scotty's what? Seven years. younger than Rory. >> Scotty's got four, I believe. >> Scotty. >> Rory. I think so, too. If Scotty shoots. even on Saturday or I mean on Friday, he. wins. You know, like he he had that one. bat like he he was unbelievable all. weekend. So, it's kind of kind of goes. back to what we've been saying about. him. >> Put on 17. the Yeah, exactly. Like he. was that close. If I know you had Yeah. Like this close from a playoff hole and.
you're telling me that if they go to a. playoff after Rory Bo's 18 that he. doesn't win like. >> I'll tell you what, those Greens though, >> they kind of let you know who's going to. win the Masters. >> That place will choose the champion, won't it? >> That's right. >> You saw that side that sideways putt. Rory hit from like that was. >> well and the chip he had on 16. That was. >> He did that 25 times. Then he go to the. freaking tournament. >> [ __ ] [ __ ]. >> What's your problem? >> There it is.
>> Whatever, man. >> Yeah, this putt was crazy. >> That's pretty pretty good. >> This was a Tiger. >> Cam had a sweet pitch up into that like. a pitch up into the hill that you didn't. think about and he came right back down. to like two or three feet. >> Super heat here, too. Everybody knows. what's happened, what is happening, and. what could happen, right? Leaderboard. right in this area. You can see it. There's a lot of action around here. Rory understood completely what the. moment was. To have that much touch and. move it that close is just absolutely. absurd. >> And you're saying on TV it still doesn't. do these greens justice.
>> No, dude. They're [ __ ] I mean, >> not even close. >> It makes no sense. >> It was my number one takeaway by far and. away. The greens, the fairways, everything. I mean, there's guys you're. shooting straight up into the air. It's. It was insane. >> You're hiking. You are hiking hiking out. there. Another takeaway I would have is. how fast the the golfers walk from hole. to hole, from shot to shot, all that. stuff. I mean, they don't take much time. at all. They line it up, they hit, and. then Rory was speed walking down that. fairway, next shot, and they just keep. it moving. >> We were walking alongside Roar. >> Oh, yeah.
>> For hole 11. >> Yeah, >> hole 11, he we were walking at the same. pace as him, outside the ropes. He's. like 15 yards probably to our left. Walking at the same clip, you know. >> Yeah. >> Let's go. Pat actually said he's like, "I could. see how guys would be so frustrated if. you have a slow guy in your group." I. mean, that would take away your entire. mojo. >> Yeah, cuz they move. They move. We're. hitting and moving. And it felt like. everything at Augusta was quick. Long. line for the merch, you're move. We're. moving. We're moving. We're moving. We're moving. Food, beers, we're moving.
We're moving. We're moving. Golfers, we're moving. We're moving. We're. moving. It It really did feel like that. was the case. Roy Mroy, he's an investor. in Whoop. He wears one of the company's. wristbands while playing and allows the. brand to share his data periodically. says Joe Pompiano. Here are some of his. Masters highlights. 24,000 steps on. Sunday, 91,000 during the tournament. And he's obviously walking A to B a lot. more than the fans, the patrons are. Rory's heart rate spiked to 135 during. his t-shot on 18, dropped to 121 during. his approach shot. FELL FURTHER TO 105.
for the winning putt and then jumped. back up to 150 during his celebration. He started crying a little bit before. the tap in. >> Mhm. kind of see the moment you hit him. I would like to know what it was in that. bunker. >> Heart rate. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Probably low. >> I was gonna say based on what Andy North. said, >> he just chunks it out of there. >> He's got a hill behind him. >> He knows exactly where. >> He actually probably aimed for that. area. Anyways, like that. That's. basically what Andy North was saying. Out of all the bunkers, he was in the. right one. >> That's funny you mentioned that thing. about guys being slow, too, cuz that's. what a lot of people were saying about.
Scotty is he played with how Tong Lee. yesterday and he shot an 80. So, it's. like he's waiting a lot longer, you. know, like that [ __ ] that uh hole where. he's way the hell over there. It's like. you kind of just got to deal with your. your playing partner just being. absolutely hammered dog [ __ ] while. you're trying to go still win the. tournament. Like I I would imagine that. is a pretty pretty tough situation to be. in as well. >> Yeah. Just waiting, looking, mossying, and also not getting a lot of looks, you. know, from your partner. >> Yeah. The [ __ ] is this guy? >> Yeah. I'll tell you what, Lee had a.
tough day. Lee had a tough day. Good. week overall. obviously gets into the. position that he was in and then just. kind of falls over himself here. Hey. man, >> yeah, look at them both there already. checking their putt after. >> Yeah, I think there's it was there when. and Scotty goes [ __ ]. >> this [ __ ] guy. Are you kidding me? >> It's in the water. >> Okay, go drop it. I'll wait. Let me go. to the other side of the green and look. at the you know the stint meter. >> It was crazy how intense they were. reading the green. Like you could sense. the intensity when we were sitting at. six and we're very close. It was like. watching Scotty like.
like he'd never played the green before. And the the hole location was. >> brutal. >> Disgusting. I mean, anything after was. immediately off. Yeah. >> Anything before was back down in the. front. >> So, you had to hit it like a probably a. two yard probably a two- yard landing. area for it to stay up on the green up. on the top shelf or whatever. Rose did. it. I think I think Rose put one up. there. >> Yeah, Rose was up there. >> Somebody made a birdie up there while we. were there. Place pretty crazy. I think. >> maybe Henley was there. >> Sam Burns had a crazy.
>> Sam Burns is awesome to watch. He's. liked. Cam Young very wellliked. >> Yeah, Cam on that hole was awesome to. watch cuz he was all the way on the. other side. He had a really long putt. So, he paced that thing out like three. or four times just to get the right. distance on it and he had a great putt. Ended up paring that. >> Yeah. The intensity in which they break. down what the putt's about to be as if. it was the first time they've ever puted. before was something that I'm going to. try to take into my game, but inevitably. will say I don't [ __ ] know anyway. And then just hit the thing. didn't see. any uh any m much Did you see much. chatter between the golfers.
>> uh. >> at all? Cuz I know Cam Young came out. after he was like, "Yeah, Rory didn't. say, you know, a word to me.". >> Really? I thought I saw Rory do a. headnot of of like support after the six. putt. >> I feel like they always say like their. Thursday, Friday groups, they'll talk a. little bit more, but once it gets into. Saturday, Sunday, it's gets pretty. quiet. >> I thought there was an acknowledgement. of a par three. It was the par three. Rory uh hits a filthy shot, set up for a. birdie putt, and then Cam Young matched. him. And then while they were walking, Rory like turned around and gave him a. thumbs up. >> Okay. So that happened on TV, you're.
saying, right? Yeah. Okay. So on six. after Cam Young puts that thing close, I. think Rory also gave him like uh it was. like a very much like a great shot. So I. was actually impressed. >> that he gave. >> my takeaway was wow there is like a it. is like a hey that was [ __ ]. >> And so also Rory hit it over the green. but he hit he was off and he hit first. Cam Young's ball was on. Normally if if. you're. >> Yeah, they had to have a conversation. >> Yeah, it was a full combo. >> Yeah, I thought it was a pretty good. little respect. >> That was a big thing on the 18th cuz.
Rory goes all the way right, Cam Young. goes all the way left. They were they. showed on the TV. They were trying to. like communicate like Cam Young was. pointing at him point them pointing at. himself and then Rory was like, "No, [ __ ] it. I'm just going like. >> So they had that at six as well. Okay, they had the same thing. So I I mean. obviously they're not talk. It's a. [ __ ] They were all very intense. I. will say that was a. >> own world. That was like a very. >> not a lot of talking. >> Yeah. It wasn't like a super chatty. operation. There's no music playing. either. They didn't have any music.
>> That's the thing about the Greens, too. Like Cam Young, he just won the players. when we had him on and he was so good. with his putter the entire time. Like it. was like this guy sees it better than. everyone. And then on the Masters, he's. missing most of his putts. >> He missed right in front of us, I think. Right. Then he missed the Yeah, he. missed after doing a long putt to close. He missed that and then he uh bogeied or. whatever. said Rory and it was uh. >> we watched him hit under a tree. basically. He was under a tree. We. walked up there to get really close and. actually the people had to step, hey, step back, step back, step back. And.
then he had the lane to. >> Yeah. Shout out to Tim. I do believe. Georgia Southern Grant or Brian, one of. the other uh they're working the the. >> galleries, man. It was one shot may have. been 17 or 18 Roy was taken. He, you. know, he told the crowd to move. >> and like the final shot as he's taken. like you see just the gallery just is. like. >> 18 on 18. >> Yeah. I'm like I'm just looking like the. trust and like. >> it was like obviously no doubt that he. was going to hit the ball correctly and. go over it, but they're all just like. >> Yeah, we were one of them. We were in. it. >> Even the T- box, even the T- box, it was.
either 18 or 17 and you you can you're. watching it whether Ting off and it is. just nuts. >> right here. Yeah, this 18. bananas. That's a very close. That's a. thin tunnel. >> It's insane. Yeah. >> Yeah. The iron shot I'm talking about. though, they were. >> the next shot. cuz he he took it out over him. He. curved it like over their head and he. curved on crazy into the bunker. >> They're all very locked in surprisingly. Um there was a little bit of chatter. about Rory's outfit.
>> What about it? >> What about it? >> Was it was it a. >> Yeah, wasn't basic. You mean. >> Well, not a lot. It didn't be a lot, >> but he needs some patented thing now on. Sunday. He just does. Foxy said. something immediately. >> Yeah. So, I'm a Rory fan. I have been. for a long time. And I looked at his. outfit yesterday. I said, "Okay, I don't. think that's a winning outfit."
