Hey. What? Let's go. This show stinks, and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. Mack could be on the line with a. gorgeous assist. The all-time leading. tackler for the Green Bay Packers. [music] YOU THINK? YOU [music] HAVE A FRIEND, TELL YOUR. FRIEND SOMETHING NICE, COULD CHANGE YOUR. LIFE.
HELLO, beautiful [music] people. And welcome to our spooky humble abode, the Thunderdome, on this feel-good Happy. Halloween Friday, October 31st, 2025. THIS PROGRAM BEGINS NOW. FOOTBALL! IS MAGICAL, AND obviously last. night, week nine of the NFL season. kicked off in a beautiful fashion with. Lamar Jackson going absolutely ape [ __ ]. in his return to football this season, and also his return back home. He throws. for FOUR TOUCHDOWNS. NOW, MY NAME IS. PETER MAN REVEAL, OKAY, AND I'VE BEEN.
COVERING SPORTS longer than you, so I. know sports longer than you. I am an old. sports media man, and what I see from. Lamar Jackson is holy [ __ ] good. This. type of guy has the opportunity not only. be an incredible leader, he said, "Get. those ping-pong tables and cornhole. boards out of our locker room." But. also, he has the ability to spin that. thing. If you need him run, obviously. he's going to be faster than you. So, whenever you think about Lamar Jackson, you're talking Mount Rushmore type guy. And if you disagree with me, you're. wrong. I don't ever think I've ever. heard an an argument against mine that. I've ever liked, and that's certainly. going to be one that you can classify. UNDER I HATE IT IF YOU SAY Lamar Jackson.
isn't a Mount Rushmore type player. Now, that was on display while the other side. of the field was looking like ass. cheeks, okay? And whenever you talk. about old ass cheeks of a team, you you. start to talk about teams that maybe win. by 30 against a team, and then the next. week, just few days later, get. absolutely decimated. Now, the stats in. the first half weren't bad, but there. was a fourth and two here in. clear field goal territory. Now, kicker. had missed a field goal already at that. point, but fourth and two, let's go to. our best play. You got it, what is it? Obviously, fade to the running back. Okay,
[laughter] so that is something that. nobody really enjoyed. I think a lot of. people potentially turned the game off. at this point. Now, the Dolphins were. moving down the field, they get to that. position, they get no points. Is there. going to be something that maybe happens. with the Miami Dolphins? Yes, Chris. Grier, general manager and I believe. president of football operations down. there, a lot of power at the Miami. Dolphins. Uh. he's gone. He's been there since 2016, I. do believe, so almost 10 years of. service with the Miami Dolphins, and he. has since been relieved of his duties. after last evening. Now, I think he.
should have played a little better last. night. Yeah. Mhm. I think he should have done a. little bit better. When you when you. think about Chris Grier football, you. don't necessarily say like, "Hey, that. that team's going to be what we think.". But this guy went all in with Tyreek. Hill. Okay, this guy went all all in. with McDaniel. This guy went all in with. Tua. This guy had a lot of things happen. under his. his leadership, but there was a time. where we all thought maybe they were. going to be great. There was a time they. scored 70 against the Denver Broncos. defense. There was a time where McDaniel.
was super cool. Remember those were good. times? >> Oh, yeah. And now, last night, all we. watch is Stephen Ross with binoculars, okay, looking down there going, "What. the. the hell's going on out here? We stink.". And he turned his binoculars right over. to his suite next to him where that. general manager was. "Why is this happening?" And then he. goes back here, and then he goes over. here. He goes, "We need to get this guy. the hell out of here." So, whenever you. think about last night's game, it's a. team that is not have a winning season. in the Baltimore Ravens potentially. turning it around completely and looking. like the team that we the we thought. that could be. Defensively getting some.
stops. Defensively getting some stops. >> Yeah. Defense get making some plays, couple turnovers. Okay, now we're having. a good time. Congratulations to the. Baltimore Ravens and. >> [applause]. >> to the sports books who predicted that. Lamar Jackson and Baltimore Ravens were. going to return whenever he was healthy. enough to play. Uh let's go to the talk. stable for their thoughts. We have Harry. Potter Potter and Heavenly Hulkster. >> [laughter]. >> Heavenly Hulkster, thank you so much for. making an appearance. I hope you got a. chance to experience all the love that. was sent your way when you passed away,
and I hope you got a chance to watch. that game last night, Heavenly Hulkster. What were your thoughts from above? >> Uh well, dude, just like to say great to. be back. Obviously, you said, you know, I did feel a lot of love. There were. also a lot of people out there who. maybe, you know, were pissing on the. Hulkster when when he passed away. But. well well, behold, you see the angel's. wings, you see the halo. It turns out. Saint Peter is one of the BIGGEST. HULKAMANIACS OF ALL TIME. I I MEAN, THAT'S WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE LIKE KIND OF. PUT two and two together once we saw the.
halo and everything. Congrats. I guess. that's kind of the big question whenever. you're on Earth. >> Yeah, exactly. I go up there, and you. know, I'm thinking, "Hey, am I going to. be waiting around? You know, what's. what's the deal?" Boom, Saint Peter. immediately. I see you, Real American. [laughter] The. Real American. And he's just drilling me. with questions about WrestleMania 3. "HOW HOW'D YOU BODY SLAM ANDRE, DUDE? HOW'D YOU DO IT, DUDE?". >> [laughter]. >> We talk for about 50 minutes, and then. he said, "You know what, Hulkster? I got. something for you." And boom, look at.
these beauties. You usually got to wait. about 150 years living beyond the pearly. gates to get A BIG PAIR OF ANGEL'S WINGS. LIKE THESE. SAINT Peter said, "No.". Those are a big pair, cuz you're. obviously a huge guy. Those are big. PAIR OF WINGS. >> BIG DUDE, EXACTLY. SO, YEAH, YOU KNOW, THE HULKSTER'S DOING PRETTY DAMN GOOD. being at the big Hogan hangout in the. sky. And I would say, you know, we got. every single football game on the TV. MY. BIG TAKEAWAY FROM LAST NIGHT IS, BOY,
the Dolphins [ __ ] suck. TUA STINKS. ARE YOU ALLOWED TO say that in heaven? I. DIDN'T KNOW. THAT'S KIND OF THE THING, [laughter] DUDE. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU. WANT up here. I'M I'M CERTIFIED PLATINUM. WHEN I GOT THESE WINGS and this halo, [laughter] brother. Usually, you know, I would say there. there are situations where as as I was. GOING TO SAY, I BETTER TAKE IT EASY CUZ. THE HALO'S STARTING TO SLIP A LITTLE. BIT. >> YEAH, SO YOU SEE, YOU DROPPED AN F BOMB. DID I? >> [laughter]. >> I APOLOGIZE, DUDE. I'M JUST.
>> [laughter].
[laughter]. [laughter].
[laughter].
>> APOLOGIZE, DUDE. I'm just I'm just in a great mood, you. know? Obviously, me and you know, Round. Clearwater Beach and Dolphins are my. team, one of my teams. And it's time to. just rebuild THE WHOLE THING. SO, YEAH, IT WAS IT WAS AN OKAY GAME, BUT YOU I. MEAN, YOU KNOW THIS, DUDE. YOU GO BACK. TO '72, OBVIOUSLY. I was there. I was.
18 whenever that was taking place. And I. saw that team go undefeated. And I. thought, wow, this city, this weather, this team, this is going to be what it's. going to be like forever. What I didn't. realize was there there comes a lot of. distractions with that city, that. weather, that situation. And I think in. football it takes a lot of people. Okay? It takes a lot of people to really be. all going in the same direction. I think. it's going to be very difficult for the. Miami Dolphins to win strictly because. of how awesome that entire area is down. there for everything but football. Okay?
I think that is a real a real thing to. talk about as a young or old sports. MEDIA PERSON, LIKE I AM, Peter. Neverville. But on that note, that offense, that. team, they were supposed to win. It's. kind of all gone to hell. And now. McDaniel's chewing people out on the. sideline. Let's go to our coach for. today. Let's go to Super Bowl champion, Yinz are a legend, coach Bill Cowher. Coach now, coach, great to see you. How. are you doing, man? Thank you, boys. Coach, you saw a little fire out of. McDaniel last night. Did you Were you.
impressed or what were your thoughts on. last night's game? Um. tell you what, I am a Super Bowl winning coach. 15 years for the black and the gold. Hall of Fame, let's not forget about. that. You can read about that in my. book, Heart of Steel. Okay, you kind of. got a little Dr. Phil book zone ability. Yeah, situation. Um Pretty good. You. know, if you know anything about me, I. don't love the cut of Mike McDaniel's. jib with all those things flapping. around, his shoes and whatnot. And the. the court Is he wearing corduroys or.
what do you call those? Joggers. Didn't love those. He just didn't have. what it took last night. Neither did. Tua. Tua looked like Neil O'Donnell. throwing them two interceptions in 1995. Super Bowl. On the other side, though, Lamar Jackson looked like a young Slash, a young Cordell Stewart running around. out there. It was a very impressive. And. yes, the Ravens are fully back and they. are going to win the AFC North. >> Man, Cordell Stewart. 10 years maybe before his time? Yes. 10. years maybe before his time. It would. have been spectacular. Oh my god. You're. talking about punt return, wide. receiver, quarterback, play safety if.
you need it. Guy was unbelievable. And. when 10 was on the field, every play was. alive. Feels like that with Lamar. Jackson. Let's go to long time sports. and weather reporter for your local. news. He's on your side. Ladies and. gentlemen, Edgar Sampson here. Yeah, Edgar, dude, brother. >> [applause]. >> How you doing, Edgar? Uh my name is. Edward Simpson. No relation to O.J., but. yes, thank you, Pat. Oh, I thought it was Edgar Sampson. Uh. no, Edward Simpson. You got it very. close. But no relation. Zero relation to. O.J. You think when people see you, they.
would think immediately, you know what? That might be the Juice's something like. that. If they see me running run a. couple routes or maybe take a handoff, they do think that. >> Got the same jaw. I like your pizzazz. I. like your Yeah, they do kind of have a. similar jaw and strength. There is a. glaring difference, but there is maybe. You know who that I see it. Yeah. The difference IS I'M SAYING. >> [laughter]. >> I'M SAYING YOU DON'T YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE. THE JUICE, DUDE. >> YEAH, AND he's he's in heaven. Remember. that. Yeah, you see the Juice. You see. the Juice UP THERE. UH EDWARD SIMPSON, let's go back to what.
you were talking about, no relation. What did you see from Baltimore maybe on. the defensive side that makes you think. they could go on a run and are warranted. of being the AFC North favorites to win. the division? Well, I think Chuck Pagano. You know, think about it. Chuck Pagano. >> [laughter]. >> He's got them figured out. Kyle Hamilton. playing all over the place. You see him. moving around. Offense really can't get. a beat on where he ever will be. He can. blitz, he can cover. He can play in the. box like he's a linebacker. I think. they're I think they're looking pretty. good. Now, you might say, hey, this.
Dolphins offense may not be the best. offense in the league, but hey, you. still turned the ball over. You still. played well and got a win on Thursday. night. So, they obviously this fourth. and two call, we're going to keep. playing it just because what what what. happened. Chris Grier might have called. this play done. Might have been wild. It. happened. Schefter has reported that. McDaniel is. going to remain the head coach for the. rest of the season. That announcement. was made alongside. the Grier firing a general manager. I'll. tell you what, hot dog, what happened. last night. Lamar Jackson [laughter]. goes down to Miami and maybe saves the. city. You know, maybe changes the future.
of the Dolphins. Let's go to the back. room. Uh Old Florida Man back there. Florida Man, old gambling, look like. partially. dice player, maybe corrupt. Florida Man. back there. Yeah, it does APPEAR TO BE. >> [laughter]. >> TAKE THIS THING OFF. What are your thoughts on the Miami. Dolphins state currently, brother? Chris. Grier obviously let go from the Miami. Dolphins effective immediately, which we. don't know what that means. And McDaniel. to be the head coach for the rest of the.
year. And Lamar Jackson and Baltimore. Ravens get back on track against your. guys's team. How How do you currently. feel, Old Florida Man? Uh Chris Grier. definitely had to go. It was a massive. mistake. He was there way too long. As. for the how they played, the defense. played really well and the offense has. been shite. And that is the problem when. Tua is making the most money out of. anybody. >> You talk about shite. What's right next. to you there? I see some big old butt. cheeks on top of somebody's head. What's. going on back there, sir? E A G L E S.
EAGLES. >> [screaming]. >> GO BIRDS. PUSH THAT. PUSH [laughter] THAT. Those are ass. cheeks. Okay, so that's that's what we. thought we were seeing there. Like. little Nicky. Those are ass cheeks on. your head right there? Yeah, my favorite. play in football is the tush push. Nobody can stop it. Nobody can beat it. Uh the Giants can't stop it. The refs can't stop it. >> What? And you, Goodell, you can't stop. it. We're the best team in football. Go. Birds. Okay, so in front of you, I see. one of the teams you called out. I see. the shirt you're wearing, too. The. Thanks Giants shirt with Saquon doing.
the. the whoopty woo over a guy back there. >> running backs are on his head? What's. that? No, remember Easy. They're not ass and. cheeks anymore, coach. Oh, I forgot. You're right. That was week one. That. was just week one. >> Sorry. Now all of a sudden they're MVP. candidates. Now that's what they got. going on. So, they're the opposite of. what's on that man's head back there, that particular John back there. But. right in front of him is massive Giants. legend in the making and superstar, I do. believe, Jackson Dart. How's it feel. about a man with ass cheeks on his head. being able to dunk on you, rightfully.
so? Oh, what up, coach? Yeah, I'm Mormon, dog, so I don't know. much about pushing tushes, but I just. hate losing. My boy Scott, we're going. to miss him, dog, but got to get back. [laughter] in the win column for real, man. Hey, Jackson, can you look at the. camera so we can make sure everybody. understands the accessorizing that was. taking place here. We got multiple. chains on through here, [clears throat]. Jackson, don't we? Oh, yeah, dude. I got the drip, dog. >> [laughter]. >> Oh, four and six in the trap. Hey, Ed. Simpson, that is something.
that is going to be able to happen for. seemingly the next 10 years with Jackson. Dart. Feels like he's actually going to. be their franchise guy next. Doesn't it. feel that way? >> Yeah, they found their guy. I don't know. if he would appreciate the. representation that Bruce is giving of. Jackson Dart, though. What do you think? Well, I guess you're Edward Simpson, so. you're not impersonating anybody. But. >> [laughter]. >> if you Do you think Actually, you kind. of are. Do you think whoever you are. drawing inspiration from right now is is. feeling disrespected by how you're. operating? There may be a few people. that think I am targeting them, but no, I'm it's a conglomerate of a bunch of.
people that I have, you know, that I am. I guess. Draw inspiration from all over. the place. That's what you do whenever. you've been around as long as I have, Peter and I have. Yeah, me too. I've. I've been around not quite as long as. you, but you know, a few years. Wait, who are you again? Me? Yeah. Edward Simpson. I thought you. were ELLEN DEGENERES. OH. I LOOK LIKE HER. ACTUALLY, YOU KNOW WHAT? I SEE WHERE. YOU'RE going with that. Yeah, she lives. in my neighborhood. >> [laughter]. >> That's what I tried Oh, yeah, yeah. We. hate her over there, too. No, no, no. She obviously, yeah, a lot of heat. on the way out with the internet for.
sure. The. um. I mean, the run she had there with that. show. Think about it, people that do. daily shows here. Mhm. The run that she. had on that thing was outrageous. I. mean, it was like the blueprint for what. shows were. And then that all kind of. just really quickly You've outlasted. her, Peter. Mhm. No, no, I'm not. She. was. Yeah, I guess Peter Neverville has, but. I'm I'm not I'm yelling into a. microphone in a small. Me and Edward Simpson doing the same. thing. We've been around a long, long. time in this business. We don't like. what's happening nationally. Mhm. I'll. tell you that, [clears throat] do we? Not at all. It's a bloody mess.
I mean, don't get into the real details. of things. For instance, easy. conversation, Michael Jordan's the best. of all time. That's why I'm wearing. these, BRO. LOOK. >> [laughter]. >> WHO ARE YOU? YOU THINK I'M OLD THEN. BOOM, I'M WEARING 23S. YOU LOOK AT THE. SHOES, I'M COOL. You think they'll. relate young kids relate to that, yeah? Yeah, I'm Jordan, though. Go ahead. What? Debate, Morad. Fear dudes, four. dudes. See, I would take Michael Jordan in that. debate, you know that. Who would you. take? And after we You're right, that is. how this would go. That is exactly how.
this would go, and that's why these. young kids that do TV and stuff have no. idea what they're doing. >> No clue. We did that for what? I mean, they're talking about talking about. other sports? Yeah, right, though. Imagine them working a green screen. They could never work a green screen. like me and you can. Yeah, that's right. And and have to look off camera. There's. a a screen over here, and it's like. you're in a mirror, you know, like you. what you And you you know, you These. youngs can't handle that. They can't. handle that at all. Mhm. They And why. are they even watching these other. sports? Bron. Jordan can carry the first hour Easily,
huh? of every show. What are we even. talking about? And then guess what? What. did the Dallas Cowboys do? We'll tell. you. Jerry Jones. K1 on the record and said uh. Hey, listen, it's hard to really care. right now about what's going on on the. gridiron, okay? I love my Cowboys. Everybody knows I love my Cowboys. There's a hundred billion dollar present. value with gas out there, okay? The. honey hole. We got We got something. special. That's why I'm talking to you. on telephone rather than trying to fix. our defense with the Dallas Cowboys. You.
know, I actually invested a one billion. dollars in a rig to be able to get three. miles deep into what could potentially. be a honey pot of natural gas. Now, you. might not understand anything I'm saying. right there, but when we're talking. scratch-offs, especially in the oil. game, if you do recall. I had one. beautiful oil rig. As soon as she penetrated this lovely. earth that we had, that thing went down. there and started uh. tolfing like any mammal would. And then that thing started spewing oil, and all of a sudden a. hundred million dollar drill was in it, and I said, "Jerry, holy [ __ ] you.
bought the Dallas Cowboys." That's all. you need, you just need one of these. things to really go ham. Well, Jerry. Jones is looking to do it again. Jerry Jones put one billion dollars in. one of these rigs. I need to get three. miles down there. They're a little bit. worried about how hot it's going to be, so I need to go ahead and invest in this. piping cuz all the older piping that's. trying to get the natural gas, they can. get the excerpts of this honey hole, BUT. I CAN GET RIGHT TO THE HEART OF IT IF I. CAN GET down there three miles. So, right now we're talking about that. because I'm trying to figure out how the. hell to get to the ground. You know, they say if you keep digging, you'll get. to China. That's what I'm trying to do.
right now. But before China, hundred billion dollars in natural gas. That's what he said to the Wall Street. Journal. Now, in a nutshell, if we read the article right, Jackson. Dart, is that not basically what was. said in there in a nutshell? Exactly, coach. >> Okay, thank you, Jackson. Thank you, Jackson. We have uh some uh gas, you. know, >> [laughter]. >> uh dealers and information in the. building, but that is what Jerry was. talking about. So, in his world, if you. look at how he started his money just in. general, it was literally a one rig, a.
drill that went down and got him a. hundred million dollars, he's got the. Cowboys. He was in debt big time. Jerry. Jones has always been a roll of the dice. scratch-off guy. And right now in his. head, there's a hundred billion dollars. right beneath our feet here. So, you're telling me. there's a hundred billion dollars down. there? Why haven't we gone It's too deep. For. who? Says Jerry Jones. And that is what he is focused on at. this exact moment cuz if not him, you. don't think Elon's about to find a.
little shovel that can get down there. and figure that whole thing. That guy. can go to Mars, he can sure as hell get. down there if he has to is what Jerry. Jones is thinking. I got to beat him. there. If he's worth a hundred billion. dollars now, you can spend it if you're. Jerry Jones, and if I got a hundred. billion dollars, the Dallas Cowboys are. only going to get better. Mhm. They're. only going to get better and better. But. what Dak Prescott had to say about it. was this. Right, you read the comment and and. being honest with you, I don't know the. full full context of it. I do know that. a piece of it, and um but being a fan.
and you just read that or hear that, yeah, of course. Um especially right as. as many fans are and do and. thankful that they do live in and. breathe by this team, and they feel like. their jobs are, you know what I mean, putting all their effort into this. So, uh yeah, that that can that could. definitely be frustrating. Um but in that sense, I would just say. like. the guy's never really lied about who he. is or or. what he's trying to do, and I think. right there he's just I mean, hopefully. he was talking about it in that one. particular moment, you know, maybe in. those five minutes is what he was.
alluding to and having a chance at. a hundred billion dollar opportunity. I. think you might take five minutes as. well and go and go answer a call. So, hopefully that's what he means, right? And. um but I can see how it can be. frustrating. Once again, for us as. players, we control what we can control. Um. that that. doesn't pertain to us right now. Our job. is to make sure that we're getting ready. for Monday night and going to be the. best team that we can when we go and. play the Cardinals. Have you ever. watched Shark Tank? These billionaires. invest in a lot of different companies. that call for their time. This is Jerry.
Jones, he's a billionaire, he's a. businessman. He's going to have other. obligations in moments in fleeting. times. But throughout his entire life, all he cares about is the star. Is. basically what Dak Prescott says there. I think that's an accurate descriptor of. the situation, but Cowboys fans don't. want to hear that right now whenever. their team is. potentially ass cheeks on the defense. side after a massive trade takes place. of Micah Parsons going to the Green Bay. Packers and him living up to every. expectation that everybody thought he. was going to be this year, Ed. Well, the. problem is that don't Cowboys fans. usually argue that Jerry is too. involved, that he's he's in there and.
he's always like hoard he's. you know, he has his own PRESS. CONFERENCE, HE DOES ALL THIS STUFF. I DON'T WANT TO BE CONTROVERSIAL HERE. NOW, BUT what I'm saying, think about. Jerry's around, he has his own press. conferences, no other owners do that. I. thought they'd be happy that Jerry's. taking some time away from the facility. >> Hey, is that a dish rag in your pocket? Uh I did find this on the ice maker. before I showed right before the show. [laughter] Yes, I knew I needed a little. pizzazz. Yeah, you do got a good flair, Ed. I think when people think about Ed. Simpson, no relation, they think, "Wow, that guy's got good pizzazz and good. sports takes." That's a good call, Heavenly Hulkster. I didn't even think.
about that. Jerry's basically saying. uh. hundred billion dollars down there. Have. you ever seen Do you know what you could. buy with a hundred billion dollars? That's what Jerry Jerry's renovate the. stadium again. You know how many. >> Brand new stadium. I could own five of. the teams here now. Exactly. And all of. a sudden I own five NFL teams, that's. where I'm at. I'm at elite status, okay? I'm right now. Rome for my wedding. Okay, that's what. I'm doing at that stage of this entire. thing. Jerry's saying, "I. hell, I might. I might [ __ ] around and go to space like. all these other guys that are worth all. this amount of money." That is what. Jerry's thinking. And then he's also. saying on the other side, "They got a.
little baby Jerry down there and Stephen. down there and and you got Shawty and. the boys down there. I got to take care. of this at the moment. The boys are. doing just fine, but everybody wants him. to change his title, right? Well, if. you're not going to do that, then then. you're not the general manager of the. team. So, if you're going to be the. general manager, then, you know, we need. at least in the middle of the season. need you to act like you're focused on. the football team." Do you think that's. a big problem, Heavenly Hulkster, as you. look down from above? Uh my two cents. would be the Cowboys fans just. shut up, dude. Okay, it's been the same. thing for the last 20 years. Listen, Jerry's an oil man, okay? You don't just.
wake up one morning and say, "You know. what? I will do say more. Cowboys are worth 10. billion dollars. He's potentially. sitting on a hundred billion dollars. Yeah, okay. I think I know where he's. going to use his Reminds me a lot of. story back when I was in WCW. You know, you got the Hulkster who's obviously the. biggest earner there is on the planet, AND YOU GOT ERIC BISCHOFF and Ted Turner. coming to me and saying, "Hulkster, we. need YOU TO YOU KNOW, TAKE SOME OF THAT. MONEY AND MAYBE FUNNEL IT TO GUYS LIKE. DIBIASE, you know what I mean? Elevate. the rest of THE ROSTER." THOUSAND HOLES,
DUDE. EXACTLY, BROTHER. THOUSAND HOLES. EVERYBODY knows him, everybody loves. him. Hulkster wasn't going to do that, okay? Why? YOU DON'T KNOW THAT'S TRUE, DO YOU? I GUESS YOU DO, HEAVENLY HULKSTER. I I. believe me, brother, I do know that's. true. And the reason is cuz Hulkster. puts butts in seats, okay? So, the the. point being, all these people can say. all this mumbo jumbo, dude. They can say. whatever they want, dude. You tell me AT&T Stadium isn't going to. be packed full on Sunday to watch their. beloved Dallas Cowboys? It will be. See, [ __ ] and moan all you. want, Jerry ain't changing a damn thing,
brother. Well, and Harry, that's a good. point, actually. I saw Jerry acting this. off-season. Why wasn't he studying tape. when he did that? Why wasn't he Coach. Cowher, you know what I mean? Why wasn't. he doing that? I'm always in the lab. studying studying tape, so that's not. something that registers in my mind. All. I did was leave. live, eat, and breathe football, so. that's not something that I can ever. just register with. >> Now, let's Coach Cowher, let's go to. your world, Harry Potter, acting. How. much time did that take for Jerry. because what if he is focused on acting. and nailing a scene maybe the best in.
any cameo actor has ever done in the. history win an Emmy, DUDE. HE'LL. PROBABLY WIN SOME SORT OF AN award for. what he did there. And also, maybe. finding an oil rig that can get a. hundred billion dollars. But the acting. world, why was he focused on that, you. think? Is he Is he maybe distracted too. much to be focused on the general. manager duties here? >> Well, when it comes to someone like. Jerry is. it's a bit of a conundrum just cuz he's. he's a man that can't be tied down to. one thing. I know Dallas Cowboys are.
very similar to you know Victor Krum fan. if you [laughter] will. ALL RIGHT. WHAT'S THAT HARRY? >> I'M TRYING. IT'S VERY HARD TO SPEAK LIKE THIS. YEAH, OF COURSE. I. >> [laughter]. >> know about it. >> But but but yeah, sorry. Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones he doesn't give. a [ __ ] what anybody says and guess what? He's going he's going to find that. hundred excuse me. He's going to find. his hundred million in it. >> [laughter]. >> Here we go. A hundred billion in it. It's a little different. If it was a. hundred million I don't think people. would care.
Hundred billion is like one of those. hilarious fairy tale things that's out. there. You're telling me three miles. down here there's a hundred billion. dollars. He probably started kicking it. How do I can I Where's my shovel? >> Can I yes. Why haven't we started? What are you. talking about? Can't get there. Also of. course you get to the center allegedly. hotter it gets. It's hot back. But You. know those volcanoes that we see go off? That's where they coming from. They. coming from down there. So how you going. to be able to get to the natural gas. whenever you got all that heat down. there from the volcano? And Jerry's like. I just saw a billion dollars. What do. what do.
I can get these pipes to be able to. handle it. Yeah, it'll be. it'll be Cowboys pipes. They'll be able to handle it. Star on. every could could have paid Michael. Micah is his name name name name. [laughter] you heard Jerry talk about. him I believe is what you're you're. directly referring to. But it's all in the title I think Ed. Honestly I believe it's all in the title. that Jerry Jones. has in which he is you know. the general manager acting and president. and that first 27 minutes of this show. is brought to you by DoorDash. Hell. yeah. Now this DoorDash is certainly.
something is it not Ed? It's the best. What do you think this little guy Smurf. has the piece of pizza in his hand? >> Well, that's right Ed. I don't think. it's a Smurf I think it could. potentially be and I don't know if they. paid for the rights for the duck but it. appears as if that is potentially a duck. hand if I had to guess. Holding a slice. of pizza in a very interesting way. You. know this particular mascot's animal. doesn't know properly how to hold a. piece of pizza I think. So just kind of. went with whatever they could cuz they. knew wow I can't believe this pizza just. got delivered to my house as easily and. as efficiently as it did. And they just.
grabbed that thing out of the box and. said give me that thing. And and Hog so. you understand whenever a slice looks. that nice you just kind of grab however. you can. Yeah, without doubt you got to. remember do you I mean if you're getting. this from DoorDash you know it's coming. from the place and. there's a good chance there's piping hot. grease on the under side of the. undercarriage of that slice of za. YOU'LL BURN YOUR HAND DO THAT BROTHER. >> WELL, THAT'S HARRY right now. Harry kind. of looks like he's got a good handle on. that thing right there. >> Oh wow. This piece of pizza is massive for. [laughter] my hand. It is you got you kind of look like you. got little baby hands with how big that.
pizza is but you can get pizza and. listen to this. anything else. What? You can't be dude. You need to order? Sure. Yeah. You need something to shave your face? Uh-huh. You need clothes cuz you look. like an [ __ ] Yeah. Not that that. would ever happen to any of us. >> Nope. Never. DoorDash got your back. I was in a place. forget where it was. Opened DoorDash there was like three. options. I was like wow we're really. [ __ ] out here. You don't even have to. do like the Google Maps thing. You know. your way out there. Anything that is in.
40 minutes of you 30 minutes of you. available on DoorDash. Basically at this. stage on DoorDash. I will say there are some prices that. you're paying for some things just for. convenience that you look at and you go. I can't be doing that every day. >> Yeah. I can't be doing that every day. But boy. it's nice to be sitting at home and PF. Chang's shows up. Oh my god 7:40 don't even have to leave. the house. Let me go ahead and dive. right on in here to the Chang's spicy. chicken. We appreciate that. Shout out. to DoorDash and shout out to sports fans. everywhere who can order order DoorDash. or use DoorDash on game days in our own.
mind. Yeah, hell yeah brother. Joining us now ladies and gentlemen is. a man who is the face of sports. conversation which kind of. what we hate about it. Ed I don't want. to I don't want to like kind of throw. any direct shots at him. >> anybody in the sports industry. Ed doesn't? >> No, Ed does not. Just calling my way to the top. How. Yeah, okay. To all the way to the top Ed's trying to. get all the way to the top. >> I might be in Tucson by next year. Where.
you at right now do you know? Uh. Texarkana. Okay, Texarkana. I've been. hearing about Arkansas because I guess. there's a D3 football game that has a. big rivalry game next weekend. Oh yeah. Yeah, their stadiums are like three. minutes away from each other. >> Interesting. You should go. Division. three. Yeah, division three game they're. Who cares? Division three? Harry. It's a good point. Harry. There's not a lot of good games. next week. We don't need to be burning. up a bunch of jet fuel going to. Arkansas for some D3 game brother. >> HARRY WHAT HAVE YOU HEARD? YOU KNOW. NOTHING ABOUT THIS OBVIOUSLY. GOD DAMN.
RIGHT. It's and it's bliss. You can't. say that. Yeah. You're [laughter] in. heaven. HOW MANY TIMES DO I GOT TO TELL. YOU GUYS DUDE? BOOM. OKAY? BASICALLY GET. OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD WHEREVER YOU GO. BROTHER. Are those wings going to take you down. to that D3 rivalry game maybe? Yeah, MAYBE IF ST. PETER'S JOKING AROUND AND. WE'RE YOU KNOW WRESTLING OR SOMETHING. AND HE CLIPS THEM AND I FALL OUT OF THE. SKY AND LAND there sure maybe. Outside of that YOU.
COME ON DUDE. ONLY PLACE I'M GOING TO BE. IS A BEACH IN Clearwater you know right. in front of HOG'S HANGOUT CLEARWATER. BEACH DUDE. >> OF COURSE DUDE. YOU COULD DO ONE OF YOUR. clouds like you did a few months back. I WASN'T GIBBERISHING SO THIS GUY SAYING. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND A DAMN THING THAT'S. COMING OUT OF HIS mouth brother. >> [laughter]. >> Joining us now it's Harry Potter Ed. I SAW I HEARD ED. REMEMBER? I I TOLD HIM. YOU HIS BUDDY ALBUS Dumbledore he's a. sweet dude you know I.
asked him if he wanted to come train. with the Hulkster you know he didn't. like it when the Hulkster started. smacking him around and a bit giving him. a couple atomic leg drops. Apparently. those British folks don't love that. You. slapped Albus. Real hard dude couple. times and then hit HIM WITH THE. I'M A REAL. MAN. JOINING US NOW LADIES AND gentlemen. the face of modern sports media Emmy. Award WINNING DAN ORLOVSKY. >> [screaming]. >> BARTMAN. WHAT UP BART?
WHAT'S UP? I think this is a good decision. You feel good [laughter] about it? Probably should a hole. Yeah, I think I. think it was a good decision. You feel. good about it or not? Can you guys hear me? Yeah, it's just. kind of echoed you know but I I think. natural mask stuff. We had it with. Florida man in the back as well. It's part of Halloween it's kind of. Halloween football. We can't hear you. You look amazing and we appreciate you. joining us. >> [laughter]. >> I got a screenshot. What's your big. takeaway from last night's game? Lamar. Jackson back and filthy? Is that the.
conversation? Couple of those throws. were obviously elite. Highest QBR at one. point I don't know if that's still the. stat. I apologize for not looking that. up right before we go live but he is. just unbelievable through the sky and. then obviously being able to run. Bart. what did you see from the Ravens and. Lamar last night that maybe make you. think this team can go on a run and. maybe win the AFC North? I think Lamar in the offense was fine. I. think you know in the play action pass. game that that's kind of their bread and. butter right now throwing the ball.
>> [snorts]. >> That was really good but that's kind of. who they are. They're best when it comes to the pass. game. Um certainly the run game got. going a little bit in the fourth. quarter. I I don't think that they dominated at. the line of scrimmage running the. football but Lamar looked relatively. sharp. >> [snorts]. >> when it comes to not having played for a. month. So like offensively I thought. they were flying. With this kind of. smooth throughout the course of the game. and they did some good stuff. He makes some really nice throws versus. man coverage.
Bart that's pretty good breakdown bro. Bart that's pretty good breakdown. Yeah, yeah thank you. Um My big takeaway. is how did the defense look? You know. the defense in the last three games has. given up 13 a game. Bringing Clark down to the football. Matty Ice Stokes playing the nickel much. better against the run and taking the. ball away. Gilman's been an outstanding. addition just because Gilman allows. Clark to go closer to the football. Clark's big enough to handle the run. He's athletic enough to play against any. type of pass. Matty Ice Stokes I thought.
had a fantastic game. Just when it comes. to running to the football playing with. discipline. discipline and then I think their. defensive line for the most part played. a way more consistent game run defense. wise so Now it's the offense for the. mark playing for the first time in about. a month was good. The big takeaway is. how impressive the defense has been in. the last three or four games. That's the. that's kind of what gives me the biggest. encouragement. If this defense continues. to play this way this offense was just. frankly great last year they'll be fine.
Okay Bart. Bart knows ball. Yeah, he. does. That's Bart man. 13 a game the. last three games for that defense that. was. ass and cheeks like the tush push. just a few weeks back which we were all. very worried about with you know the. Baltimore Ravens. Everybody sports books. had them as the favorite to win the AFC. North even when they didn't look good. and when Lamar was hurt and their. obviously their record at this exact. moment is three and five. I just want to. make sure I had that right and they're. still the favorite to win the AFC North.
It's like everybody believes that this. Ravens team can be great just because we. all know who's on that team. We just. hadn't seen it for a while and now all. of a sudden it's like let's get the. Miami Dolphins in prime time Lamar's. return. He's going to go absolutely. insane. And on the other side they're. going to fire the general manager. Your. thoughts Bart on. Chris Grier since 2016 kind of his era. ending in this entire thing? Yeah, this is the move that felt most. likely for Miami. One the roster's not. good enough. If you look at his drafts.
Chris Grier. I think since like 2021. >> [snorts]. >> I think there's like five starters or. six starters that have come from their. first three round picks. So you're. talking. 15 20 picks that are made right around. there, there only six guys have become. starters. It just hasn't panned out health-wise or. development-wise. I never thought that Mike McDaniel, at. least right now, was that. kind of on the hot seat. I knew results. matter, yes. But 2 years ago, just about this time,
this was the number one seed in. football. They [snorts] were playing at home. versus the Dolphins on Monday night. to kind of lock up the AFC East and. almost the number one seed. But they. lose that game in that ridiculous. comeback in the fourth quarter and it's. kind of gone downhill since then. That's. kind of like I don't think Mike McDaniel. forgot how to coach. I don't believe. that Tua, who was at at that point an. MVP candidate, forgot [snorts] how to. play. So, this for Miami, the biggest. kind of. issue is that the the talent isn't.
really. equal to the. the echelon AFC teams. I think the next step, Jaylen Waddle, I would entertain trading. him if I could get good value. Jaelan. Phillips and Bradley Chubb, I would very. much so entertain both trading both of. those guys if I get fair value. Just as. we're talking about it here, they trade Jalen Ramsey and they trade. John U. Smith to the Pittsburgh Steelers. this off season, preseason. What were. the expectations for this Dolphins team? Like and now we're talking about them.
trading away all their other best. players. I'm very fascinated on what was. supposed to happen this year and let's. go to one half of the hammer, Don. Cowboys. old Florida man, Florida man, what were. the expectations and was this. inevitable? This was inevitable. We were. quietly optimistic. I mean, Jaylen Wa-. Jaylen Waddle's not getting traded. I. could see trading Chubb and Phillips, Judon maybe, but Ramsey wanted to go. Not paying John U. Smith was diabolical. Our only Pro Bowler wanted to be there.
He had to stay. You lose him and it's. been a disaster ever since. >> Smart to start speaking with your hands. I don't think anybody really knew which. person back there was speaking. So, thank you. [laughter]. Thank you for doing that just strictly. because you have such a stone face. You. too, Bart. You should be pretty animated. when you're talking cuz, you know, it's. just a still shot. Yeah, there you go. That's what we're talking about. By the. way, great breakdown by Bart Simpson. >> Yep. People are reading the captions. going, "What is Bart knows ball here?". Unbelievable. >> Bart knows ball here. Eat my shorts, dude. That's Touch Push number one fan back in.
the back. He's Philly John, obviously. And Foxy, hot dog, dude, you look good. Yeah, I'm a hot dog. I just like to. point out that this hot dog has no. mustard, ketchup only. I actually. ordered it with mustard and I had to. paint over this because everyone's out. there, but yeah, let's go ketchup on. your hot dog. I like that. Now, did you. put the You put the ketchup on top. because you had to paint over the. mustard that was on the top? >> Exactly. The right move, actually. And. everybody goes, "Hot hot dog is a. sandwich, yada yada yada." It's a taco, okay? And just like any taco, you know,
anything that's like movable, you put in. the bottom. They put stuff on top. You. could do that. >> Mhm. You definitely put the ketchup at. the bottom of the taco. Mhm. Okay? And. then you put the hot dog on top of that. So, you shut that thing. What's that? Interesting. Ketchup on the bottom of. the dog. Yeah, you put it at the bottom. Now, granted, if you have uh buns that. are kind of ass cheek and they are are. separated, don't do that. That is the. worst case scenario. The only reason why. I don't like doing it on top is cuz when. you bite it, it gets all in your face. But if you put it on the bottom, it. things apart of bite. You know what I'm.
talking about? You know what I'm saying, Bart? Yes. I'm into that now. I actually like. taking American cheese, a square of it, slicing it or cutting it in half and. putting half on each side of the hot dog. as Mhm. Yeah, not a bad play. That's That's good. play. Did not expect that. I thought you. were going to say you eat the cheese. slices from the inside out like it's a. pizza whenever you rip them in half. because of some of your other takes, like Reese's cups. Oh. Like Reese's cup. What do you do to Reese's cups again? If it's just like a Reese's cup, the.
traditional one, I take the kind of like. the perforated shell, I bite it off cuz. it's too much chocolate. There's not a. good ratio. And I don't like milk chocolate, so I. just bite it off and kind of eat the. internal part. >> Yeah. And you put a video of yourself. doing that or somebody else put a video. of you doing that because that is serial. killer behavior, I think. And And when. people watch you do that, they thought. to themselves, "We should check this. guy." And then I think I said to you. immediately afterwards like, "Hey, you. can just kind of split that in half and. then eat that thing like a pizza from. the middle, right?". >> You did tell me this. You did tell me.
this. I haven't done it yet, but now. you've reminded me, so I'm going to do. that. You got this weekend. You look. like Ace Ventura whenever he sits down. and and they give you an ashtray. whenever he's doing sunflower seeds with. this entire thing. Feeding the birds. How old are you, Bart? I don't know. I think I was 13. I'm 42. You're You're how 42? Bart grew up. >> 42. I just turned 42 this summer. Happy. birthday, dude. Happy birthday, brother. Hey. You've been eating Reese's like this for.
probably what, 32 years? And you never. thought once to go from the middle. inside out. See, that's what we're. talking about with serial killer. behavior. And And Ryan Clark saw that, him doing that, we're like, "Other. people need to see this. Other people. need to see this. It's a big time. problem." Speaking of needing to see. this, we need to see a good game, OKAY, NFL? I'M TIRED OF IT. 55 YEARS AGO, 1970, OKAY? THIS LEAGUE CAME TOGETHER TO. DO SOMETHING SPECIAL. I WAS THERE. [screaming] WHEN THEY SIGNED THE [ __ ]. OKAY? FIRST TIME 55 YEARS, LAST WEEKEND THERE.
WAS only one game that was decided by. single digits, okay? Who are you? Who. are you? I'm just an old sports media person. Peter. You see, and I I go through waves of who. I am. Am I Am I a conversational respect. the young generation guy or am I I know. more than you because I've been around. this place longer than you have. I. forgot more about sports than you've. ever learned. Yeah, but we're in a very. new stage of life. Don't care. Don't. care. I know every life, kid. Your life, this big. My life, THIS BIG. SHUT THE.
[ __ ] UP. >> [laughter]. >> I IT'S HARD NOT TO BE that guy every. time, but I don't want to do that, okay? Especially because we got Heavenly. Hulkster here. Yeah. Thank you, dude. I. appreciate [clears throat] Although I do. like kind of the best of both worlds. there, brother. Well, that's what I'm. trying to do, yeah. I'm kind of in the. middle of it cuz he brought up Jaylen. Waddle, let's trade him out of there. And you heard Dolphins fan, Florida man. in the back go, "Okay." Our only cool. thing, really. But [laughter] like. him doing this is like so cool. Like it. is so cool. I'm sure there'd be a lot of. teams that would love him. Tuesday, 4:00.
p.m. Eastern time, trade deadline for. the NFL. This weekend's matchups are. going to have a lot of say in what takes. place. But on that note of one good game. last weekend and Thursday becomes. another double-digit win for a team, there's a game this weekend that's a. guaranteed lock. Eddie Simpson, no. relation to O.J., has a question. Yeah, no relation to Bart, either. Bart, 4:25 on Sunday, I believe, Chiefs. playing the Buffalo Bills. What do you. expect from this game? Who do you think. is going to win and are the Chiefs fully.
the Chiefs again? Are they back and. going to make a run for the Super Bowl? Yeah, I mean, the Chiefs are as hot as. anybody in football, hottest team going. I think they're the second best team in. the NFL right now behind Detroit. So, I think this is clicking. You put Rice. and Travis next to each other, it's just. a problem. Right now, Patrick throwing. the ball to either of those guys, Rashee. Rice or Travis, he's 52 of 67 for over. 600 yards and those of those 600 yards, 351 of them are yards after the catch. And so, like,
if you watch defenses, PJ, you would. speak to this. Like, when they put those. two guys next to each other, it's [snorts] so hard to defend because. you have to have so many eyes on them. because they're both in the middle of. the field, but like they they attract so. much your attention and then all of a. sudden there's one of you running down. the field like uncovered. So, how does. that happen? And the reality is you. don't have people near them. It It's tough to trust these people in. space, you know, with They're like Kelce. and you give him space. Do you trust the. person that's going to be, quote.
unquote, near them, zone or man? Do you. trust him in space? I think this game. comes down to. both [snorts] defensive lines. You know, both defensive lines have been. very good this year. The The The Bills. The Bills have been very good. The Bills have had some moments. The. Chiefs have had some moments after some. time away. The Texans have had some moments. The. Texans have had some moments. The Chiefs have had some moments. The Bills have had some moments in the. fourth quarter. The Texans have had some moments. The Chiefs can't get this dude on the. ground because I.
Bart, you're starting to wah WAH WAH. SOUND LIKE CHARLIE BROWN'S PARENTS, DUDE. >> YEAH, IT'S STARTING TO DRIFT out a. little bit. [laughter] I think there's. maybe I don't know if it's when you hit. something or make another noise, it. drowns out yours in the back cuz these. phones are so smart. The phones are so. smart. So, the phone is trying to listen. for voice or sound right now. So, whenever you hit your hand, I think it. picks up that as opposed to the bland. yellow image that's right behind that. that is speaking. So, I think you can't. be too animated. So, so we said earlier, Bart, need you to be animated. Let's not.
be too it. Let's make sure we're s-. We're animated in silence. I think that's where we got to be. I think you get to the defensive lines. I think the defensive line Both of these. have been. underperforming. The Bills have had ways to get pressured. on the ground, but then also like Kansas. City, like Chris Jones has not played to the. level of Chris Jones. Von Miller has been. good, but he hasn't been dominant. Josh, this is a game for me that if I'm Josh. Allen, you know, it's.
like I'm going to run to the football. one time. I'm going to see if this. defensive line is going to be able to. contain me. And if you do this, I can't We got to call you back, brother. Yeah. Hey, Dan, we got Bart We. got to call you back. We can't hear what. you're saying. You're giving good takes, though. And you look amazing, Bart. We can't. hear what you're saying. NO, DON'T DO. THAT. DON'T [screaming] DO THAT. CA- HOLD YOU, FOOL. ALL RIGHT, WE'LL CALL you back. We'll. call you back, Dan. We'll call you back, Bart. Sorry, Barto. Barto, we'll call you back. Yeah, he. comes back with a different What was he. saying? He was saying defensive lines.
need to be uh Uh both defensive lines. have played poor this year. And so, the. defensive line Oh Oh. >> god, he's sweating his ass off. He. Dan, oh yeah, I think that I think. that's what I look like right now as. well. Oh, you have the airpods in. That. was definitely what it was. The. Don, you fool. Now you're muted. Now you're muted I. think. Did you mute it? Did we mute you? We muted you. There we go. Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now? Donald. I'm not. Pat. Please, Peter and Everfill. Thank. you. Have a little respect. I hear him. now. Dan.
There we go. It wasn't Bart guys, it was. just a mask. Aw. Just a mask. Aw, no man. Kind of pet. >> I got another costume. Here we go. Taylor the one a little bit. Sorry for. interrupting. >> Hasselbeck. Well, don't give away the gimmick. brother. I can't wait. Happy Halloween to. everybody. Yeah, it's like a Peter. [ __ ] Nurse costume this [laughter]. year. OH [ __ ] KYLO REN. WOW.
>> THAT'S SO cool dude. I'm your father, right? What is that? Uh No. Han Solo. >> Yeah, technically that's not the same. but same franchise. So yeah. That's. grandfather I guess. Father's father. I. am your father's father. It is what it. actually is. That That looks great. That. looks Let's do a testy. Do a testy father's father. >> sound better? Oh, you sound amazing. Hell yeah. Thank you for joining us Mr. Kylo Ren. Okay, Hulkster you're going to. need to be a little bit clearer.
>> Mr. Ren. Mr. Ren on that. I appreciate. the hell out of Hulkster. I didn't know. you're such a big fan of the Star Wars. franchise. >> Hell yeah dude, you can't be me I mean. Harrison Ford is always one of my. favorites. He's a big time Hulkamaniac. and then Adam Driver guy who played Kylo. Ren is actually for real I believe. Urah. Urah dude. Princess Leia up there. with you? Yeah, she's she's a a sweet gal. That's nice of you Hulkster. Thanks for. all this breaking news. Feels like. you're really breaking a lot of news for. me. >> Do what I can dude. Heavenly Hulkster. doing his thing. Okay, so Mr. Ren.
whenever you think about this Chiefs. Bills game if you're going to go back to. say everything you were just said that. we couldn't really hear but in a much. shorter condensed version what what. would that exactly be Mr. Ren? Yeah, I think this game comes down to. what defensive line plays better than. they have this year. Neither defensive. line has been great. Buffalo's playing. without Ed Oliver. Bosa's brought in. Bosa you're brought in for a game like. this. Vanessa's been okay. Rousseau's. been fine. So like they they're going to. have at some point in the fourth quarter.
Kansas City's going to have that third. down that fourth down. They got to get. the Pat trick. They got to make sure. that Patrick's legs aren't used and then. vice versa Kansas City's defensive line. Chris Jones has not been what Chris. Jones has been. Karlaftis has been up. and down. If I'm Josh Allen. this game they got to score 30 to win. Hold the football. I'm going to make. this defensive line chase me down. I'm. going to try to create big plays cuz. they can't necessarily in the rhythm of. their pass game. Whoever defensive line. plays better I think wins the game. I. love that. I can't wait to see who does. What did the Bengals just do? They.
Well, they got a bunch of people asking. for a trade. They've had four people who. requested a trade in the last let's say. four months if you include Trey. Hendrickson. Most recently literally I. think yesterday or something like that. So Trey Hendrickson, Logan Wilson we. heard about that last week. McKinley. Jackson and then Mike Pennel he he was. released and he's back with the Chiefs. now. Chris Jones is very pumped about. that. There's a lot of people trying to. get the hell out of Cincinnati. Now the. narrative is this a couple of them came. shortly after that players only. defensive meeting. Now obviously if you.
recall Lou Anarumo long time defensive. coordinator for the Bengals is now. defensive coordinator for the. Indianapolis Colts. This is all on the. defensive side of the ball kind of this. entire thing. Was Lou holding the entire. place together? Like what what is your. kind of takeaway on what's going on in. Cincinnati and on that note we would. like to say to the Cincinnati Bengals. fans we're sorry this is all happening. to you guys but this is a wild scene. that this is taking place in an AFC. North team that has just spent hundreds. and hundreds of millions of dollars on.
building their roster trying to be in a. Super Bowl window. That's the only. reason why you pay everybody is cuz. you're trying to win a Super Bowl. Now. that's how they feel. Is that a reality. going into the season? I don't know. But. guys coming out openly in 2025 saying we. want to be traded in the middle of. season is pretty crazy abnormal Mr. Ren. I'd say. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. I think obviously this. was a team that was all in when it came. to how they went through through their. off season. They thought that Al Golden. the new defensive coordinator would get. this defense to play better and some of.
their young pieces would step up. I. think a player like DJ Turner has at the. corner position but the defense still is. a very bad unit. Logan Wilson's straight. I mean Trey was the obvious one once. they started to struggle and Joe went. down. He's not signing back there. They. don't appreciate him enough. I don't. think Logan Wilson's been paid recently. I thought there was some some noise. about Logan last year wanting a new. contract. I don't know if he got it or. not. Logan Wilson is a really good. linebacker. I would fully expect if they can get. good value to move on from him. If I was.
a team like the Dallas Cowboys I would. be calling about Logan Wilson. It's crazy that. within the last year it's gone from by. gosh this is a historical offense. Joe. was unbelievable if they could just get. better they'll get back in the Super. Bowl race and now it's like. very dire future it looks like as as of. right now in Cincinnati. Yeah, obviously. not great whenever people are are trying. to get their ass out of there and. willing to take a public hit. You know, cuz anytime a player comes out and says.
I would like to be traded he is also. admitting that it's not working, right? So there's two people that are part of a. relationship. So anytime anybody comes. out negatively about each other it's. like hey we're both admitting fault. here. At least I am this is not working. I would like something new. Let's go to. Cincinnati Bengal alumni maybe ruler of. the jungle someday and a man who grew up. as a Cincinnati Bengal fan Edward. Simpson your thought on the amount of. players wanting out of Cincinnati and. what does that say to you brother? >> Well, I mean I don't I think with when. Logan Wilson he was you know made some.
young kids step up and started playing. well so they were he was getting much. reduced role I guess and the other guys. you know Mike Pennel you saw how happy. they were to get him back in Kansas. City. I played with Mike in Green Bay. actually or I should say the the person. who. the guy AJ who used to be [laughter] me. I don't even know. I'm I'm kind of like. inception. Your dude played a dude. disguised as another dude. Edward. Simpson did not Edward Simpson could fly. right. Edward Simpson played but yeah. Edward Simpson played 1948. That was a. long time ago I think you know. But you. were right after you. No, yeah yeah. I. actually you had my shoulder. We were wearing those leather I wore.
your shoulder pads. You wore my leather. helmet. >> Yes, yes. It was like springy inside. Good to see you. >> for sports. >> We did a lot for sports. But the Bengals are dead? No, I do not think the Bengals are dead. Dano or Dano or Mr. Ren is that right? >> Kylo. Kylo, do you believe Okay, what do the Bengals look like next year. Mr. Ren? Um Like what's the record? Obviously. let's assume Joe Burrow's back. Joe. Burrow's back what do they look like? Can they stop somebody next year. defensively?
Yeah, I think to be honest with you I. think the number one question is. is Zac Taylor the goat? We That's. a fair question to ask given what's kind. of transpired over the last year or two. I think Zac Taylor is a really good. coach but it's been a while now in. Cincinnati. Joe hasn't been able to stay healthy so. I think it's fair to say the scheme that. he's deployed now that's allowed for a. ton of success has it also been a part. of. you know Joe being a little bit more.
exposed to some hits. They're going to. have to get a significantly better. performing offensive line. The defense. still can't tackle. So the defense has. got to get much better at some of the. basic fundamental stuff. So how does. that happen? So who is Cincinnati next. year? I think that starts with what's. the plan at coach and then with Zac. Taylor they're going to have to I think. philosophically change at least the way. they approach football and how they want. to play it. They can still be ridiculous. offensively. They got to protect him.
much better and they got to play. significantly improved football on the. back end of their. in totality on defense. Okay, it sounds. like you're trying to go back to an. older version of you there, didn't it? Now I know you know last year you became. good guy and said you know I want to be. nice but you used to be absolute killer. out there. Absolutely. And now you say. what's Zac Taylor looking like next. year? That's a good question. Geez Kylo. Geez he's got a lot of season left now. Obviously Joe Burrow seemingly gets hurt.
because of what you're talking about. with the offensive line. Did they try to. address that? Yes. Have they really. figured it out? No. And then when they. spend money everywhere they spend money. everybody that knows football was like. is that a way. is that a way to win a Super Bowl? We. shall see with the Bengals people asking. to be out of there. Now let's talk about. a team that did have Super Bowl. aspirations this off season as they were. doing a bunch of stuff that nobody had. really ever seen before. Coach Cowher. has a question for you. >> Yeah, we'll start with that and and Kylo. when you said see Dan just apologized to.
all of Pittsburgh. He was right. We were. wrong. They stink. Okay? They should be. 0 and 6. The record is a fraud. Anyways, Colts are visiting them this weekend. Is. there any chance the Colts don't score. 50 points against Pittsburgh Steelers. this weekend? I'm going to be there for. the celebration of the 20th anniversary. of the 2005 Super Bowl team. Incredible. team a team that played defense. What do. you think? How many do the Colts score. this weekend? Legends. Legends. Yeah, I. would be surprised if the Colts don't. put up at least 35. I think the Colts. have one of the most difficult offenses.
to match up with in the NFL. Here's. where I am with Pittsburgh coach. Uh Yeah. Like number one defensively do. you just watch this team play against. the run? Mhm. They're too straight up. and JJ could talk to this better than I. can but like if from an offensive. perspective if I want to run the ball. against Pittsburgh I don't think that. they play with the proper pad level a. consistent basis to stop the run. They. just don't. A little bit is their. scheme. I talked to Marcus about this. cuz they're trying to two gap meaning. they.
hold on to an offensive lineman and peek. which way is the run, but they're. standing. >> I get it. That's why they're struggling to stop. the run in totality. Then the backers. The backers see that and they're trying. to get into a gap and they'll sometimes. get into the wrong gap. The thing that. struggles with or I I see what they. struggle with coverage-wise is this. For a couple years there it was like. they were so simple on defense. coverage-wise. They didn't do anything. other than like cover three, okay? This year it looks like they've tried to. change things and they're trying to like.
confuse the quarterback in disguise. Here's the thing though, they they do. that. they're consistently out of position. They're trying to get so creative and so. unique with some of their coverages that. they're out of position or this guy's. late or they're not getting to the right. kind of zone area. Well, when you do that for. a couple years, AJ. AJ knows this. Like you can't connect it. on a string almost and Joe's so good,
real talent in their defense. All right. There's a lot of stats going on about. the defense. What you're saying probably. very valid. All the owners know is they. spent a lot of money back there and for. them to be the problem can't happen. WOULDN'T HAPPEN IN 2005 WHEN BILL COWHER. WAS CHEWING PEOPLE OUT AND SPITTING ON. FACES IF IT WASN'T GOING THE RIGHT WAY. >> NO, I would have gotten the boys. Peasy. would have gotten the boys. James. Farrior '05 1 at MVP would have gone on. them. This would never would have. happened. Big Ham sitting in the middle. Come on. Come on. They can still turn. around. A lot of football left. And for.
you Kyler, we appreciate you joining us. Also Bart. And Dan, it appears. Wow, Dan. Lotts is. Oh [ __ ] Oh and Bart, and Bart. IT'S. THREE-HEADED MAN. OH, THREE-HEADED. MONSTER. OH. This guy's three-headed. monster. We appreciate you Dan Lotts. All right, we'll be back on the other. side. I don't know where people are watching. us at today. But we thank you for doing it. Today's. one of those days really tough to watch. and if you're a fan of the show you have. to explain to other people why. I want. to let you know we enjoy the hell out of. it. See you on the other side. Goodbye.

All right, so I've.
heard Vanderbilt is the Harvard of the. South. What are your majors here? I'm a. chem-E and econ major. >> Okay, a chem-E. Okay, that's what we. call it. That's slang for chemical. engineering. There you go. Yeah, I'm in. the chem-E world too. You played soccer. your whole life? Yes, sir. Did you ever. kick a football or field goal? >> Senior year, senior year. You were the. high school kicker for your team? >> A few games. I might have stepped in. Okay, so you have a lot of experience. Sarah, do you think. he should be able to make it on his. first attempt then, right? >> Oh, absolutely. I have all the. confidence. He's got the soccer, he's.

You murdered that, brother. What is the first dollar going to be. spent on? Those degrees you're getting. right now? Yeah, probably helping my. parents help me out with that. Um. I'm just so excited. Can't believe it. >> You're the best, eh? Congratulations, Tyler. Congrats to his parents. The following program is a collection of.
students talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic. and informative. The opinions expressed. on this show do not necessarily reflect. the beliefs of their peers, their boss, or ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. Hey. Why? Likes.
Go. This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. Mac will be on the line with a gorgeous. assist. The all-time leading tackler for. the Green Bay Packers. YOU PICK. STOP. DAMN IT. IF YOU TELL A FRIEND TO TELL A. FRIEND SOMETHING NICE, it could change. [music] their life. Hello, beautiful people and welcome back. to our. >> [music]. >> spooky.
the thunder dome. on this feel good Friday. Happy [music] Halloween, October 31st, 2025 truth Friday BECAUSE. FOOTBALL, BROTHER. THAT'S RIGHT. FOOTBALL, brother is what. we talk about usually. But I'll tell you. what, the run of NFL games has been ass. and cheeks. Like the man behind the. glass, the Philly John who's dressed as. THE TOOSH PUSHER'S BIGGEST FAN. THAT IS. WHAT football has been what sitting on. top of that man's head in the back. corner. There's an old Florida man right. next to him. They got Jackson Dart.
sitting in the front row. Hot dog with. ketchup on top as opposed to mustard is. a man who loves Detroit Lions and loves. having a good time. Hot dog synonymous. with good times having fun. >> Yeah, hey man. Everyone likes the hot. dog. Anytime you eat a hot dog, you're. usually at a ball game. You're usually. at a get-together, a family event, you. name it. You can't go wrong with a nice. wiener. Yeah, that's right. Why did you slide. >> Easy, dude. I I guess you can guzzle those glizzy.
wieners down and have the time of your. life out there, hot dog. And a man next. to you seems to be no stranger if I had. to just read the vibes. Jackson Dart, you you a hot dog guy? Feels like you're. probably a pretty big hot dog guy. >> Love a glizzy, coach. Give me like four, five, maybe even six, seven. Okay, yeah, yeah, got [laughter] it. Got it. It's. very cool you're number six, too. I'm. sure you haven't, you know, really. utilized that as you should, by the way, Jackson. And I want to let you know, Jackson. I think most of the time somebody like.
you becomes public, people automatically. don't want to like them. The fact that. everybody loves you is cuz you're so. damn good at football. You're an. absolute beast, dude. And I appreciate. the fact everybody's kind of giving you. a chance. I want to let you know that. Hell yeah, thanks, coach. Just got to. >> Aren't Aren't you perfect for Daboll, too? How much you love that guy? >> Oh, Daboll's, man. You know, he he's the. best. We just got to get back in the dub. column. The losing just kills me, coach. >> Well, Scataboo, obviously happy. Halloween. The Scataboo. shirt that Peter Schrager had the other. day was awesome, you know, kind of. honoring him. You know, the NFL lost one.
of its faces and Scataboo, you lost a. best friend, Jackson. Mhm. You're my. boy, Scat. He's going to be back better than ever. though, coach. Don't don't worry about. it. So, Jackson call everybody coach? Is. that what Is that how that go? Just you, coach. There is a coach on set. He's one half. of the hammer. Dah. I I didn't know if. he was talking to me, but all I know is. as a coach you cannot replace a Cam. Scataboo, okay? As a person, as a. player, any of those things. We lost a We lost a good one. Who's.
that? Cam Scataboo. No, yeah, but it. sounds like you were talking from. personal Oh, I was personally talking. about when TC Williams lost Gary. Bertier. You cannot replace a Gary. Bertier on the football field or as a. person. >> Yeah, I think you're right and uh. I didn't think about that because what. Where Bertier was at the beginning of. that thing Uh-huh. versus the end. Hold. >> certainly a fascinating situation. Let's. go to the toxic table. Uh. >> [laughter]. >> Very spooky Halloween here. Uh Heavenly Hulkster, uh your thoughts. on. everything happening in current.
conversation and spookiness with the. vapes here. Y'all be honest, BROTHER. I. DON'T LOVE THIS, OKAY? I feel like I'm. at, you know, like a bowling alley for. quartermania or something like that. THIS KIND OF GARBAGE DOESN'T HAPPEN. >> [clears throat]. >> beyond the pearly gates, okay? So. if we could Okay, good. It's starting to. kind of dissipate a little bit. [laughter]. Uh Remember the Titans? YOU KNOW, GREAT. MOVIE. I love Tony saying that, but you. know, it is interesting, dude. You know, JUST THE AMOUNT OF KIND OF ELBOWS I've.
been able to rub up here in heaven. at my version of the Hogan's Hangout. YOU KNOW, GUYS LIKE JACKIE ROBINSON, YOU. KNOW, WHO a long time ago people would. have said, "Hulk's right. Never going to. be doing anything with Jackie Robinson.". I went out and played pepper with him. for an hour and a half. You know, you. know what pepper is? Yeah, yeah, when. you're. >> Yeah, exactly. It's like, you know, you. play it before like a baseball game like. high school, grade school, underhanded. ball. Somebody hit it trying to get a. bunt down. If they pop it up, you run. over there, catch it, and they get out. Hulkster's pretty good at that game? Oh,
brother. Hulkster You lost the [clears throat]. jacket by a lot, though. NO. YES. HULKSTER ALWAYS GETS the bunt down. So, we even got to a point where the. Hulkster had to basically be like, "WHO. WANTS THE BAT? I'LL PLAY DEFENSE. YOU. GUYS AIN'T NEVER GETTING me out, brother." And they knew, you know, and. we laughed about it, we giggled, and one. of the other best parts about being up. here. bottomless. I'm talking bottomless. You. get LIKE THESE BIG JUGS from Saint. Peter. When you come in, basically. whatever kind of beverage you want in.
there. >> Really? Yeah, exactly. >> Real American beer? On tap. Everywhere you go, you fill up. your beer. You drink it till it's gone. In the Hulkster Hulkster's case, I'm. just. >> [cough]. [clears throat]. >> And when you're done, that thing fills. right back up to the top. Perfect amount. of head. >> Icy cold? Icy cold. Perfect amount of. head. I got a bunch of beer. Where's. this at? This is Hogan's Hangout? >> Hogan's Hangout. I'M TALKING MAYBE LIKE 150 FT PAST THE.
PEARLY GATES, you take a left. >> pretty prime real estate. >> It's well, let's just say everybody. I wasn't kidding first hour when I told. you how big Hulkamania at Saint Peter. was. Did you see my spread over here, dude? Me, I got DMX coming over to my house. every night, SMOKING CIGARS, PLAYING. CARDS. >> PACK PACK. THAT IS ONE THING ME and DMX Well, I. call him Earl, BUT ME AND X.
we took a couple four-wheelers. >> or no? He does call me Terry. He's one. of few guys up here who I allow to call. me Terry, brother. He's become a dear. dear friend. We were basically recreating the Ruff. Ryders anthem video. Yeah, exactly. Getting them puppies up on TWO AND JUST. YOU KNOW, KIND OF raising a little H E. double hockey sticks. We don't like. saying that up here. And even at that. point JESUS AND SAINT PETER had to come. up and be like, "Earl, Terry, YOU GUYS ARE SCARING [screaming]. EVERYBODY, MAN. YOU GOT TO STILL, YOU.
KNOW, OBEY THE TRAFFIC LAWS UP HERE. SO, we don't DO THAT AS MUCH, BUT YEAH, LET'S JUST SAY THE Hulkster's really, really enjoying his time up here so far, brother." Well, happy Halloween. AND. IT'S NOT EVEN WRESTLEMANIA SEASON YET, DUDE. It's coming up right around the. corner. >> You're going to Vegas, I know, if you uh. I heard. I love it. >> Are you getting booked? Never say never. Harry Potter, um obviously sitting next to Heavenly. Hulkster, it's been quite a day. Uh. there's a time now in sports where we. have the World Series tonight. Hey, we.
got the World Series on a Friday night, and there's a chance this could be over. Could be over tonight. I hope so. Why? They they basically say baseball in. London is kind of like a big pile of. shites, if you will. No, nobody likes. the baseball. We we see it as kind of a. poor man's sport. No, it's great sport. >> Well, that that's what they say, but I. didn't hear Heavenly. >> [laughter]. >> I didn't hear Heavenly Hulkster mention. too much baseball aside from Peppa, who.
was with Jackie Robinson, not a full. baseball game. >> was watching obviously Lamar Jackson. last night return to Miami. We. appreciate that. How could you not? But. I have found myself, ladies and. gentlemen, local sports and weather. reporter Edward Simpson, no relation to. O.J. or Bart, Homer, Lisa, Maggie, and ilk. Sure. Baseball has actually been very. watchable. Very watchable. And I don't know, you. know, we've covered the entirety of. baseball trying to evolve into the. modern era. Obviously, we've covered. sports longer than anybody. We know more.
than anybody about it cuz we've seen it, we've lived it, we've done it. >> We know. Yeah. Brother. For sure, brother. Yeah. But baseball's trying to. make more rules, okay? They've tried to. make more rules to make the game more. uh more. uh watchable, let's say. Pitch clock, obviously, getting things down quicker. Feels like there's a little bit more of. an explosion. I've heard Now, we've. heard that umps will potentially give. a little bit of a bigger strike zone to. people, so that entices hitters to. swing. Like, "Hey, we need you to swing. a little bit. We need to go ahead and. get this game going," which we respect.
immensely. And then superstars that are. global sensations who are talked about. as being great in the biggest moments. have shown up. Okay? All year. Aaron Judge, all rise. This guy's 6'7", captain of the Yankees, handsome, incredibly cool, everything about him. oozes superstar, megastar in New York. City as well. New Jersey, New York City. area, you get it, that entire thing. And. he showed up and delivered MVP-like. year. Cal Raleigh, storyline out of. nowhere. This catcher who hits from both.
sides of the plate, huge ass. Mhm. Huge. ass. Mhm. I mean, this guy's got a big. dumper, okay? That's what this guy has. He hits dong shots out there, do. something that, you know, really hasn't. happened in forever. And then this. character right here, Shohei Ohtani, is. unbelievable. Pitcher, hitter, highest-paid guy. He's getting paid like. $700 million or something deferred over. the next 25 years. Has everybody pissed. off about everything and has the entire. country of Japan staying up crazy hours.
to watch what's happening in MLB because. this guy's so damn special. And then you. look on the other side with Toronto, this team, they got a 5'8" guy, okay, playing catcher. >> Mhm. Kirk is his last name, and he looks. like he should be hanging out with us up. on the stage right now. He looks like he. should be hanging out in the think tank. with us, and this guy's hitting bombs, big old ding-dongs in the World Series. And then Vladdy Daddy duh. Yankees. lose. Okay, this guy, huge moments has.
shown up and delivered. So, whenever. baseball's on right now, and it let. alone the 18-inning game, let alone. everything else that's taken place, baseball has delivered, I think, Edward. Simpson. Do you not agree in that. notion? >> I agree completely. I mean, it's like. the the high-paid Dodgers squad with all. the superstars, they are Those guys are. playing well, but the the what Toronto. or they did the what are you the the. little engine that could? Is that how. people look at them? Like, "Hey, we play. small ball." payroll. >> No, see, that's what I'm saying. And. they they actually pay guys, but I guess. we as Americans don't know as much. I. wonder, Heavenly Hulk, who's going to. win tonight? I would assume the Dodgers.
they got to get a win tonight. Do we. know who's pitching? Uh yeah, so it's. going to be Yoshinobu Yamamoto, one of. my favorite dudes. I hate to just. absolutely hurl that thing. >> of history in Japan. Yeah, obviously, Ichiban Hulk. Uh. I can't confirm this, but I'm under the. impression or people have said that both. Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. both had Ichiban Hulkster posters in. their room growing up. Wouldn't doubt. it. So, it's going to be Yamamoto against. Kevin Gausman, who is kind of the ace.
for the Blue Jays as of right now. What. Yamamoto, he has just sliced through. this Blue Jays lineup. >> Yeah, but uh Heavenly Hulkster, someone. sitting in a similar chair the other. night after the 18-inning game said, "Do. Toronto Blue Jays have any chance at. winning this thing?" They have. They. certainly have. This Toronto Blue Jays. team's for real, aren't they, Heavenly. Hulkster? And they could put it away. tonight in Toronto? Yeah, they could. But win a World Series in Toronto. tonight. >> Their first one since 1993. This Blue.
Jays team's just relentless, brother. You know, IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY. CHIPS YOU STACK AGAINST THEM. Everybody's thinking after that. 18-inning game, you lose in horrific. fashion, and then uh-oh, Shohei's on the. bump the next night. What do they do? We. don't give a [ __ ] Who cares? Okay, Shohei. We're going to bomb his ass, and we're. also going to strike him out three. times. And that's exactly what they did. They won a big game. And then what do. they do? They still don't win in L.A. The the big bad man, the big bad.
acquisition, Blake Snell, who actually. postgame after getting kind of rocked. said, "You know, they didn't really they. didn't really get to me. Sometimes luck. plays into it." Well, BLAKE, WHEN YOU. THROW TWO FASTBALLS RIGHT DOWN THE. [ __ ] MIDDLE, TWO OUT OF THE FIRST. three pitches of the game, THESE GUYS. GET PAID, TOO. VLADIMIR GUERRERO JUST. SIGNED LIKE A $450 million contract. before the year. THOSE KIND OF GUYS, GUESS WHAT THEY COULD DO? THEY CAN HIT. FASTBALLS DOWN THE MIDDLE. They can. ambush. They can jump you. Which is what Yoshinobu Yamamoto's going.
to have to remember tonight. MLB's about. to take their pennant their championship. to Canada. I thought this IS AMERICA'S. PASTIME. YEAH, THAT'S ONE THING. THAT THE HULKSTER'S STILL HAVING a real. tough time getting over. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, I'll I'll I'll be honest with you. I'm having a tough time. So, what did I. do? I said, "You know what? I got I got. to go into the 26-man roster. I got to. look at every single one of these guys. and figure out where they're from.". WELL, BEHOLD, NOT A WHOLE LOT OF. CANADIANS OUT THERE. A LOT LOT OF GUYS. FROM THE U.S., a lot of guys FROM THE.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. We mentioned, you. know, Alejandro Kirk. He's obviously. from Mexico. BUT YEAH, YOU GOT TO GIVE. THE YOU GOT TO GIVE THE SLIGHT EDGE TO. THE Dodgers tonight cuz Yamamoto's been. unbelievable, but I'll tell you what, don't let these Blue Jays get hot. And. they're already hot, brother. Yeah, it. feels like there's really good baseball. happening, Edward Simpson. From what. Hulkster just said, how do you lean ES? How do you lean tonight? I got what. Yamamoto, two complete games in the in. these Back to back.
>> [laughter]. >> Yeah, back to back complete games. Bam, let's make it three. Let's make it. three in a row. Let's do it. >> That'd be That's highly unlikely, but I. like where your head's at. >> Yeah, why You're saying they win. tonight? Yeah, I think I think. >> I also believe the Dodgers will win. tonight's game. You think the Dodgers. will win tonight? Yeah, I believe this. one's going seven. He thinks that. Toronto's win. No, I think I think. Dodgers. Yamamoto, yeah. I think. Yamamoto gets it done. Oh, I I misheard. you. That's 100% on me. I thought you. were saying that you think that. Toronto's going to be able to I I don't. know, man. I think we need a game seven. We need This this has been a good. series. We need game seven. Okay, so we. need to put into this universe that.
we're living in. And apparently it works. cuz you've seen the other side, and now. you're doing it. Yeah, not not to Well, there everything's going on right now. with that kind of stuff. I don't want to. say I know what's going to happen. But. yeah, let's just say I know what's going. to happen tonight. We'll see. If you maybe WANT TO BET, I. DON'T KNOW, DODGERS catcher Will Smith. to hit a homer. I don't know. >> [laughter]. >> Maybe you do that. How about this? Universe ball? WELL, HEAVENLY BALL. OKAY, SURE.
OH, I couldn't get over there quick. enough. I WAS GOING TO GUIDE IT IN. >> [laughter]. >> I'LL TRY. NO, MAN. HULKSTER GOT THE SAME MOVES HE. USED TO. SEE? OKAY. NO, NO, THIS IS ALL YOU. >> [laughter]. >> WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP ME, HULKSTER? >> WELL, I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE. IT, DUDE. WHAT DO YOU MEAN? UNBELIEVABLE. UH WORLD SERIES heading. back to Toronto. Game six is shaping up. to be the most in-demand Blue Jays game.
seat ticket uh SeatGeek has ever seen. with the average ticket selling for. 1,639. bucks up there. Is that like 3,500. loonies? Uh. yeah, actually I think so. And then uh I. think it'd be 800 and uh. 19. uh toonies. Okay. Okay. I believe if I'm. if I'm trying to put together the math. here from back in the day, trying to. understand what loonies and toonies kind. of remind myself what it is. You used to.
put these coins as one buck, it's two. bucks. But if we're depending upon where. Canada in America is finance-wise, how. much of the dollar is, that toonie was. also sometimes like 275 e, you know, in. America. You know, it was a little bit. worth more. And then there were. sometimes where America was doing it and. that toonie was actually about a buck 50. e, you know. But the loonies and toonies. out there, Canada, good times. Right. now, it goes to a game. If the series. were to make it to game seven, currently. the average resale price for that game. is 2,341 bucks. You can currently get. $30 off with code Pat McAfee at.
SeatGeek. And that's what that segment. was brought to you by. Hell yeah, brother. See SeatGeek ticker. down here, Heavenly Hulkster? I don't. know if you see it. Uh you see that. coach Cowherd down there, the SeatGeek. ticker? So they're always the one. providing all the information. They're. always the one providing. And they're. also the ones that can provide you with. a lifetime of memories with a ticket to. a game. It's not just a game ticket. It's a memory forever. It's a story. It's a reunion. It's a gathering. It's a. time to celebrate or get pissed off if. your team is ass. It's an experience. It's a journey. It's SeatGeek. Ain't.
that right, Edward? Yep, what's the code. again? Pat McAfee. P A T M C A F E E. It. is our 70th code with our friends at. SeatGeek. We've been with them for a. very long time. We are very thankful for. SeatGeek. We appreciate SeatGeek. But. every once in a while code will hit or. potentially get into some couponers. world and then all of a sudden they go, "We got to change it. We got to change. it. We got to change it." We've already. done that. We've already done that. So. now it's just Pat McAfee straight. across. And people always spell my name. right, so this one should be easy to. kind of put in. People always do that, don't they, Hulkster? Isn't that kind of Yeah, all.
the time. Kind of you know, it's like. same same deal, you know, you ask. someone to spell Ichabod [clears throat]. Hogan and guess what? They're not. spelling that right too often. >> Yeah, I understand. All right, let's. talk about some. uh storylines happening around the NFL. Patrick Mahomes is talking about their. game with the Buffalo Bills. Let's go. ahead and run the video. Let's run the. tape. Patrick Mahomes is chit-chatting. about how big it is. Um I mean they. don't like us. I mean that's pretty. They do not like the the Chiefs. Um but. I mean it is a cool environment. I love. playing in like historic stadiums. Um.
and that stadium has had so many great. players playing in it and who knows it. might be the last time that we we get. the opportunity to play there. Um and. um it'll be a it'll be a a great. challenge for us and they're loud and. that's what you want. You want to go in. go in and be in a hostile environment. That's what football. um when you watch on TV as a kid growing. up is the the environments you want to. play in and so obviously they're not. they're not rooting for us, but you get. to bond together as a team. um and get to go into a historic stadium. and play in a great environment. >> Love everything about that. That's not. wizardry, Harry. That's real. Feels like.
they understand this is an actual. rivalry of the modern era. >> Yeah, not me. Uh not Josh Allen. Uh. Patrick Mahomes is uh the leader of the. league, if you will. However, uh this. does feel as though uh the the Chiefs, the Kansas City, the the Swifties, the. the Kelseys, they they tend to lose the. game that don't matter as much like in. the regular season against They've. already lost a few, haven't they? I mean. they have. YEAH, SPECIFICALLY AGAINST THE THE BILLS. Uh. Josh Allen now more than a football.
player, which I love. Uh it seems as. though Mahomes and the Chiefs may may. let the Bills have this must-win and I. always look forward to what Sean. McDermott says in his pregame speeches. It it always seems to rub people the. right way and he seems TO BE A SLYTHERIN. MORE THAN A GRYFFINDOR, IF YOU WILL. YEAH, so I don't I don't know if it's a. pregame speeches or team meeting. speeches that you're referring to, but. Sean McDermott obviously has that. Buffalo Bills team back in contention, always going to we all assume with Josh. Allen. What are your thoughts on it,
Edward Simpson, these two? And also, what are your thoughts on Patrick. Mahomes openly saying like, "Yeah, Chiefs-Bills, it's a real thing. We. understand it's a real thing. We. appreciate that it's a real thing. They've changed rules because of our. games. They're looking at the future of. the NFL and what blueprints a player. should look like from our games." What. are your thoughts on him acknowledging. that as a whole and the game, AJ? I love. how Patrick Mahomes is handling it. Let. them know like this is a real rivalry. game. We don't They don't like us and. I'm sure the Chiefs don't like them, but. that's what it is. That's what these. games are all about. But as the the. Harry Potter gentleman, I forget. Dumbledorf said earlier or whatever his.
name is. Whichever one you are, I'm not. sure. There you go, Mr. Harry. Uh I sometimes. it does happen, right? When the Chiefs. lose these games and then they win it. when it matter when it matters the most. in the playoffs. Did you see um in the. NHL we had a magical story the other. night? Marchand? Oh, yeah, yeah. Goes back to. Nova Scotia to coach for his friend JP. uh who he grew up playing hockey. alongside. He went back and coached his. junior team because the coach, JP, had. to mourn the passing of his 10-year-old.
daughter from cancer. So Marchand took a. leave of absence from the Panthers to go. up there to do that for his friend. Obviously feel-good magical moment, but. also this dude is exactly who we all. hope he is. This guy is awesome. This. guy is incredible. He showcases it. Shout out to hockey being like this, but. also shout out to sports for once again. in very hard times kind of bringing. people together, Con man. What else did. I uh miss in this story that is. obviously incredibly feel-good and. awesome? >> Yeah, I'm definitely going to drop the. English accent cuz I really do want to. talk about this and be able to. Uh.
Marchand, I believe owns or at least. donated to this team. The team itself is. called the Marchand & Mill Company. Hunters. It's the U18 team. I mean this. this made me emotional. This is kind of. the thing that, you know, sports brings. out in people, I think. It's kind of the. best of everything, not just Marchand. Like even the Florida Panthers. understanding like, "Hey, you need like. this is much more important to go and. do." And like him being on the bench, I. mean just putting yourself in the in the. position of, you know, Brad Marchand's.
best friend. Hey, this guy just won the. Stanley Cup. They're going, you know, they're they're trying to get another. one, but he's deciding to be here. Putting yourself in the position of. those kids. Like, "Man, we we we kind of. thought that maybe we weren't going to. play hockey for a little bit even. though, you know, U18, that's very. important hockey, especially for those. kids in Canada. And you know, Brad. Marchand now is the guy that we're. coming off the ice to see. It's just. it's it's amazing and it's just what. makes Brad Marchand such a special. person. >> Taking that moment from what could be. obviously incredibly devastating for all. parties there. Teams get very tight.
Hockey teams obviously we're not talking. about. uh anything anybody doesn't already. understand. But now it's like a story. and a moment forever. Marchand came and. coached the boys. Like the boys now, they had to go through something very. devastating with their coach. He's. potentially away in the middle of the. season. Obviously that can rally and. gather and round everybody up and get. them closer and tighter. But now also. adding a part of the story, one of the. greatest hockey players of all time from. the area coming back and lending a. helping hand to a brother. I mean it's a. beautiful thing, Ed. It really is a. beautiful thing, AJ. Yeah, I think. hockey hockey kind of has that that.
brotherhood that that some sports may. not be might not be as tight. And think. about it, it's professional sports, professional athletes. Game week, like. it they're in season. To leave in season. that people don't realize how big of a. deal that truly is. So yeah, Bill Zito. and the boys over there understanding. and for Marchand to do this, yeah, I. think it's something those kids will. remember forever. as well as his his. best friend will remember till till he. dies. It's also a good act for people to. see like, "Hey, this is how friends Mhm. Yeah. And there's things that are more. important than sports too at times for.
some people. Yeah. But even just. thinking about the guys on the Panthers, you know, I'm sure there's younger guys. who are just thinking, you know, just as. far as perspective goes like they're. probably just trying to earn their their. way through the NHL and then having a. guy like Brad Marchand who's a leader of. your team you just mentioned with the. Panthers kind of show you like, "Yes, of. course this stuff is important. This is. our profession. But like there are things that are much. bigger and like being able to go and do. something like that. Like shout out Bill. Zito and all like Paul Maurice, their. coach. Like everyone just being telling.
Brad basically, "Yeah, get out of here.". Sports are the greatest. The greatest. Yep. Speaking of the greatest, ladies. and gentlemen, joining us now is the. greatest of all time whenever it comes. to coaching college football. Friend of. the program, host of College GameDay. Ladies and gentlemen, future Hall of. Famer in every Hall of Fame that exists, including business. and birthday boy. Coach Nick Saban. What's going on, bro? You guys look. marvelous. Thank you, coach. We didn't know if.
you're going to potentially dress up, but if I could dress up like the. greatest of all time every day, I would. So I appreciate you looking in the. mirror and saying, "This is exactly what. we need." Happy birthday. to you. Dude. Happy birthday. to. you. >> Happy birthday, dear coach. Coach Nick Saban. HAPPY birthday. to you.
Dude. Happy [applause] birthday, coach. Well, men, I appreciate it. You guys look great, but you can sing. LIKE [ __ ] WELL, WELL, COACH, THAT SAYS. EARS. YOU GOT THOSE OLD ASS EARS. That's. your old ass ears. You don't hear the. cleansingness of our voices. We We you. Hey, going to be easier to shoot your. huh? Going to be easier to shoot your. age now. That's one good factor. A lot of good factors for us. I want to. let you know, we're thankful that you. have the best year that you've ever had. in the history of your life coming up. this upcoming year, and we're going to.
be a chance to be a part of it and watch. it. You're a good dude, man. Great dude. And the way you treat everybody and the. way that you kind of speak about. everything is how everybody wishes that. the people around them would speak. You're a legend. That's why everybody. says you should be the president of the. United States. Happy birthday from one. old ass man to another. You know what I. mean? Yeah, coach. I appreciate it, man. Thank you so much. It means a lot. And, you know, you got to have a lot of. gratitude for the things that you have, but nothing's more important than. relationships. And I do appreciate the. relationships that we've developed, you.
and I, as well as I enjoy so much being. on this show with these guys. Yeah, we're lucky to have you. Let's talk. about where you're at right now. You're. over in Utah. We'll catch up with you. uh tonight. I can't wait to go. trick-or-treating with my daughter. I can always. >> Well, I think that's wonderful that. you're able to do that. >> Amen. First time she really kind of. knows what's happening. And. uh it's good that you can spend it with. her. Yeah, I am so pumped. So, I'll come. catch up with you. On that note, excited. to be out there. Were you there the last. time that GameDay was there? Their fans. and their like alumni showed up in a.
huge way out there. And they have the. mighty Utah student section. They're. favored by 10 and 1/2. What are your. thoughts early here on being out in Utah. and what this team presents for the. Cincinnati team? Well, I was not here the last time we. had it here. Uh but I I will say this is. a beautiful part of the country. But I think this is uh you know, I've. liked Utah's team all year. You know, they play good defense. They're. physical. They tough. They kind of play. old-fashioned football. This backup.
quarterback did a marvelous job for him, you know, last week against Colorado. Uh but I tell you what, Cincinnati is. sneaky good with the quarterback that. they have. Now, I know their running. back is hurt for this game. uh prior, but they've had great balance, and. uh I like the Cincinnati team. If they. can play good enough defense, I think. these guys may be for real. 10 and 1/2 is the spread. Cincinnati's. been hot. Uh they lose. week one to Nebraska in a neutral site. game. Everybody rules them out now.
GameDay Big 12 still very much in their. sights. Let's talk about another game. happening this weekend. Edward Simpson, no relation to O.J. or Bart, has a. question for you, coach. >> Yeah, coach. Uh Oklahoma's playing. Tennessee Saturday night 7:30 p.m. Eastern. I guess how do you see this. game going? A lot of hype, obviously. Neither team can afford to lose right. now with two losses each of them. But. how do you think this game is? I I I I I really like Tennessee in this. game. I mean, they they've got one of. the leading offensive teams in the.
country when it comes to scoring points. They're difficult to defend. They've got. a good offensive line. They can run the. ball. And you know, Oklahoma's got a. great defense, one of the best in the. country, but I think when you spread. them out like this, it's going to be. more difficult for them, especially. playing on the road. And you know, to. me, the issue for Oklahoma is are they. going to be able to score enough points. in this game? Uh because they've been. struggling on offense a little bit. since, you know, John Mateer came back. from, you know, breaking his hand, which.
is, you know, I mean, it's. understandable. You know, the guy's. playing hurt, and he's playing. quarterback. It's harder to spin it. But. um if he plays well, they'll have a. chance, but I I just think Tennessee's. going to be hard to beat relative to the. points that they score. But Tennessee. struggled on defense, too. So, they're. going to have to outscore them. Yeah, Tennessee, you know, we've seen the. greatness of them, and then obviously, they're not perfect. So, in college, that can get exposed literally any. weekend. And then Oklahoma, I've been. waiting on them. I've been waiting on.
them to be back cuz I had so much hope. for them at the beginning. The hand, you're right. I mean, that's very. understandable that it's potentially. slowed him down a little bit, but it. definitely has. Let's talk about another. team that's on a run right now, undefeated. Go ahead, Con man. >> Yeah, coach. I'll go back to my English. accent after this, but you're old as. [ __ ] and I don't want you to. misunderstand me. Um Texas A&M. Happy birthday, coach. Happy birthday, coach. Happy birthday, coach. Uh and oh. man, I was going to drop a deez nuts on. you, but I won't. Uh Texas A&M and Mike. Elko seem to have turned that thing. around completely. They're basically.
now, I mean, it's hard to argue that. they're not the best team in the. country. What do you think about the job. they've done? And how about this. quarterback? You know, he he really. wasn't up there for Heisman odds, and. now it feels like he damn near might run. away with it. Well, he's playing great. And I would. say the two teams at this point in the. season that's kind of separated. themselves from the pack to me is Ohio. State and Texas A&M. And you know, Marcel Reed has been a big part of that. Uh but you know, I think this guy has.
got special talents, man. He's improved. as a passer. He's got better receivers. He's got better skill guys to play with. them outside. They can run the ball a. little bit. And this guy can beat you. with his feet. So, this guy is a I mean, unbelievable. talented athlete. I mean, when you you. talk about this guy playing basketball. and what a good basketball player he. was, I mean, and you know, they've got the skill guys. now. Here you go. Punt return for a. touchdown against LSU. So,
I think this is a really, really good. team. Uh can you tell me did you recruit. Marcel? Did you know Is that why you Did. you see him play basketball or did you. just you've heard through the coaching. ladder about the incredibly athletic. Marcel Reed who now has seemingly. figured it out in all facets? Yeah, well, I I do not see him play. basketball in high school. I saw some. clips on him playing basketball, and I'm. saying, "Wow, this guy's a player." But. this guy reminds me of somebody that. plays for the Baltimore Ravens. that um.
has, you know, turned the National. Football League upside down for, you know, several years now. And I think. this guy's got the same kind of. qualities. Yeah, you saw the stop right before the. touchdown. Literally takes us back to. Lamar from high school. You know, that. exact play. Now, granted, his was on the. sideline. His was in the middle of the. field. Marcel's special. He's in Hey, Heisman conversation is very real. You. talked about Texas A&M and Ohio State. separating themselves. I think everybody. in Indiana would say, "WELL, HEY,
THAT'S WHAT EVERYBODY IN INDIANA WOULD. SAY. I SHOULD HAVE known better. >> [laughter]. >> Obviously can bring a little bit of. heat. You talked about Marcel Reed and. that Texas A&M team. They get a huge win. over LSU. So big, actually, it draws. some change. Governor Jeff Landry is. even talking about it now at this point. It's become national talking point about. what's going on down there at LSU. Go. ahead, coach Cowher. Yeah, coach. From. one coach to another, everything that's. going on down at LSU, they do not have. an AD right now. They do not have a.
president right now. And Governor Jeff. Landry's talking about the coach is. going to have to have a prove-it. contract. Is LSU doing themselves any. favor in this coaching carousel? Are. they scaring coaches away potentially? Well, you know, I I think, you know, one. of the things that. is really important now in college. football. And let me make a comparison. for you. You know, in the NFL, everything's vertically integrated in. one building. In other words, the rules are clearly. defined by the league as to what you can. and can't do, whether it's salary cap,
contracts, whatever it is. And you. either succeed or fail based on what. happens in the building from, you know, the owner to the GM to the coaches to. the personnel folks to the player. College is just kind of the opposite. Everything's happening externally, not. internally like it is in the NFL. So, you got all these external factors that. are constantly changing, whether it's. transfer portal, how much you can pay. guys, revenue sharing, you know, what what what what kind of. collective do you have? So,
traditionally, how have you been able to. adapt to that? And my point about. tradition is some of the traditional. jobs like LSU that people always looked. at as one of the best jobs, have they. adapted to all these things like they. need to to be able to continue to be one. of the best jobs in the country? And I. think that's why you see Vandy, Indiana, places who have not historically been. traditionally great jobs actually having.
a lot of success now because they have. managed the external factors very well. to bring it in-house so that they can. function effectively. So, what's to say LSU, Florida, they're. traditionally the best jobs, but are. they the best jobs now, relatively. speaking, based on how they've adapted. to. the external circumstances that really. affect your ability to be successful in. college football? Okay, so on that note, people quote you whenever they say why.
LSU is such a good job. They say, "I. believe the greatest college football. coach of all time is quoted on the. record of saying, 'Five stars fall out. of trees in Louisiana.'" Like that is. literally what happens down there. So, if you're able to just recruit the. state, you'll be able to win. What. you're saying is recruiting any state. right now requires some things that a. lot of other schools potentially have. more of. Is that kind of what you are. referring to right now? Yeah, I I I think, you know, I I can't give you any statistical facts.
on this, but is regional recruiting. as effective as it once was? You know, I've also made the statement that kids. in Louisiana grew up wanting to go to. LSU. Kids in Alabama grew up wanting to. go to Alabama. Well, some of the kids are going to Ohio. State because. they're getting paid more. And it. becomes a little bit more about money. than it does about regional alliance. in terms and and you can't blame the. kids for it. I'm I'm not don't want you. to think that. But.
so, but at the same time, I'm saying if. you don't have those resources, you know, it used to be about program, facilities, how can you develop the how. can you create value for their future? Well, how can you create value for them. right now is what's changed in college. football and how have you adapted to. that? Yeah, and if you don't do it every. day, we got options. Lane Kiffin came on. and chit-chatted about pre-portaling. basically where you have one good game, there's like three schools that are. calling at night. Somebody obviously not.
directly associated, but hey, if you. were maybe going to portal, we got about. 120,000. M&M's in there. You know, if you need that and that's. happening at all times. So, it feels. like the business aspect of. decision-making is starting much earlier. as opposed to the regional, territorial, I would like to be in this area. conversation. I think, I don't know how. you're going to stat that. I assume. there'll be a good stat at some point. that kind of depicts that. I mean, I go. back to Quinn Ewers even. That was at. the beginning of this NIL era. Yep. He's. like Texas Longhorn through and through.
Texas kid wanted to be Texas. I think he. was committed to Texas, but couldn't get. paid, so he went to Ohio State to get. paid. Went to Ohio State cuz he couldn't. get paid there. Then he came back to. Texas even though he wanted to be a. Texas Longhorn all along. Had to go. somewhere else to kind of get the money. I do wonder what that means for LSU cuz. they're ranking the job like LSU's. But to your point, I think that's a. great strategy. If you're in a place that historically. has a lot of good players coming out of. high school,
if that guy went to another school, I would track that guy's career like. from day one because eventually get him. back. Bring him back. If you lose him. the first time, get him the second time. And you might be better off cuz he might. have developed a little better and he. might be more ready to play, more. mature. So, I would definitely do that. and I think that's definitely something. LSU should be doing just like Texas has. done. Boy, I haven't even thought about. can't be burning bridges during this. recruiting process cuz guess who's going.
to be available maybe in 2 weeks. Who's. that? That guy. That player might not be. happy where he's at. Is it sustainable? You know, that's kind of the question. Is it all sustainable? We shall see. There's a video of Kalen DeBoer after. the game where one of their players, I. think he was number 12, I forget if it. was offense or defense, but a South. Carolina coach like went up to him and. was kind of talking to him and Kalen. DeBoer kind of like yanked him away. like, "Hey, come on. We just won the. game. Let's get out of here." Interesting time. in college football. AJ Ellison, also.
known as Edward Simpson, has a question. for you, coach. >> Yeah, coach, I don't know if you got the. chance to see the game last night. Ravens played the Dolphins. We got to. see your old QB, Tua. Obviously, the. Dolphins are battling and they're. they're trying to figure things out. I. guess when you look at them, what can. they do? Like, what can you do at this. point in the season? You're in the NFL. and you're struggling. You have two wins. right now. How How do you handle that. day in and day out? Like, what do they. Fired GM this morning. >> Yeah, and they fired the GM. Like, what. do you do if you're the head coach when. you walk into that team meeting every. day? It's hard.
You know, I went through that in. Cleveland. Um, you know, in '93, we were. five and two. We made We cut some. players at the bye week. Um, after being. five and two and we went two and seven. the rest of the way and uh, it was a. little bit of a mutiny in the building. Um, but the one thing that pro players can. do and can think of to keep things going. is they need to play well to extend. their career and to see how much money. they can make. So, winning and losing.
doesn't necessarily determine that. So, if they keep performing well, they're. still creating value for themselves and. I think that's important for pro pro. players to take advantage of even if. you're not on a winning team. But, I. think the Dolphins I I, you know, I have a house in Florida, so a lot of. people ask me what's wrong with the. Dolphins and I can't really answer that. question uh, completely. Obviously, they've had some injuries. that could affect that, but uh, they. haven't played great on defense and uh,
they haven't scored a lot of points. So, they have lots of issues and I didn't. know they fired Chris Grier? This. morning, yeah. Well, he's one of my favorites, you. know, he he was a scout there when I was. the head coach many, many years ago and. I think Chris Grier does a really, really good job, but uh, I guess, you. know, when you look at the product on. the field, um, personnel has to do something. about it and be responsible for it to. some degree and the coaches have to be. responsible for how do they develop it.
So, um, and everybody's got to make those. decisions internally, I guess. Gumpy, I. just heard what you said and in the. moment pretty emotional threw up. You. know, he was he was happy to move along. just because Dolphins fans feel like. they've been in purgatory throughout. this entirety, but it wasn't that long. ago that this roster, this money, was. like the hottest thing in the NFL and. now, you know, it's a complete opposite. of that and Lamar Jackson comes back to. town and does his thing against him. Tua, interesting situation cuz you talk. about having good tape, you know, like.
they put good tape out there. Doesn't. matter if we're going to playoffs. Like, some teams have a 2% chance to make the. playoffs. They kind of understand what. the situation is, but OGs tell them. like, "Hey, this is either where you. keep your job or maybe make some more. money. People are watching this [ __ ]. This isn't just like fans being upset. about us not having a hope. This is all. like a tryout." You know, they talk. about preseason. This is real [ __ ] here. So, if you can do good tape, that's why. whenever they say like people are. tanking for somebody, it's like players. aren't. Players aren't putting shitty. tape out there. Like, that ain't players. and now are there schemes being called?
Are there people not being dressed. maybe? Are those things happening? Potentially, maybe that is happening. with teams. I'm not going to rule it out. cuz I am an open-minded individual, but. like when we were in the the suck for. luck campaign, everybody was saying it. was like, "I wasn't trying to shank. balls. Yeah, right. I I I would have got. fired. You the offensive line's not. trying to give up sacks to whoever is. playing quarterback that year cuz they. want to keep a job." So, interesting. dynamic that the Miami Dolphins are now. staring down. Good for you, Gumpy. What, dude? Grier's good. It's been too long. Hey,
Chris Grier, good guy. He was a good. guy. He just wasn't good at his job at. the end. At the end. That's fair. He was He was. good at the start. He made some good. moves at the start. This last off. season, he got in trouble. >> Yeah, exactly. Well, that's like coach. McCarthy. Coach McCarthy goes, "Well, these players got to execute as well.". which is always like the coaches' angle, you know. It's true though. That is part. of it. I agree. >> part of it. Like, if you have if you. feel like you have the right players, they should be able to execute the. scheme. If they can't, that's probably I. don't know if you're giving too much to. them. >> That's why there's always this whenever.
like draft type happens because the. personnel department says, "This guy's. got a lot of potential." And then it's. coaches' job to build him up. Well, if. he never makes it, who who cares if he. was maybe just a bust. This coach should. have been better because GM saw. something in him and this coach. obviously didn't make it happen, but. maybe the player's just ass. And that's. what coaches say after they're getting. fired. They're saying, "Well, well, I. well, uh, that's kind of the circle, isn't it, coach? Personnel people have. these visions. Coaches are supposed to. make it happen. If you don't make it. happen, definitely on you. And if the. whole team is ass and they think. everything's bad, well, you put the.
entire team together. You got to get out. of here." I feel like that's kind of the. natural thoughts about those positions. I I think you're 100% correct in terms. of, you know, you heard me say this. before, is there's seven or eight teams in the. NFL that have vertical integration from. top to bottom. In other words, the. personnel people are out there getting. the kind of players that fit the system. and the scheme that the coaches want to. play. The coaches are able to develop. those players because they're both, you. know, in sync um, with each other in.
terms of what they're looking for, type. of people as well as, you know, physical. characteristics, whether it's size, speed, critical factors to play. position. So, they're getting people. that fit what the coaches want and the. coaches take that fit and make it work. So, you have the same teams that seem to. be successful kind of on a consistent. basis and then you have the same teams. that seem to struggle because they don't. have that alignment. Because if you have. vertical integration, you don't have.
what you just talked about, which most. of the teams have an issue with. Personnel, coaching, developing. So, look, I went through 2 years in Miami as. a head coach. All right, the first year, we had vertical integration with the. personnel with, you know, right down to the coaches. The. second year, we didn't and we had a. terrible draft and and the team went in. the opposite direction. So, that's very. it's critical to being successful. I.
think everybody's got to be a team. Everybody's got to be together. We can't. be pointing fingers at why we picked. this guy and he's not playing well. Everybody's got to be responsible and. accountable for it and you got to pick. the right guy to start with. It's no. different than what I say about paying. players in college. You play the wrong. guys, you're [ __ ] out of luck. Draft the. wrong [applause] guys, you're [ __ ] out. of luck. That's life in general, I. believe, and uh, I appreciate every time you start. speaking about any of this stuff because. you're talking about vertical. integration a lot. It's basically saying. like, "Hey, everybody has to be seeing.
the same picture." cuz if you're. drafting a 3-4 player, we got a 4-3. defense, like what do you are we even. what are we even? Well, he's going to. he's going to have to play. He's going. to have to drop back. Like, that's not. Why would you do that? That happens. On. like a and he talked about there's seven. or eight teams that are kind of all. aligned. There is actual situations. where it's like, "Well, they'll make. them fit in there." and it's like, How. is this the highest level? How How is. this. >> You hired the wrong coach then, you're. out of luck, too, right? I mean, think. about it. You bring the wrong guy in, sometimes it doesn't fit. Okay, uh, let's pivot back to college football and.
talk about a team, you know, that's had. an interesting season. Go ahead, uh, Heavenly Hulkster. Yeah, coach, this. weekend WE GOT VANDY AND TEXAS, DUDE. And uh, you know, as right now, Arch. Manning is a game time decision. And in. the NFL at least, I think he believes. it's concussion. That's been a 2-week. injury. Now, I haven't perused the. injury report. I don't know if he's. playing or not, but when you look at. this game, HOW DO YOU SEE THIS ONE. GOING? AND HOW BIG OF A DIFFERENCE will. it be for Texas if Arch Manning doesn't. play? Obviously, they still got, you.
know, some five-star guy behind him, so. it's not like the end of the world, but. how do you see this one uh, shake it. out, brother? Nothing. Well, you know, Vanderbilt, you. got to give them a lot of credit for how. they played last week because, you know, Diego did not have a great game, uh, and. they were still able to score enough. points, they were able to play good. enough defense. Um, and you know, it just seems like. Texas has struggled a little bit to get. any kind of rhythm going on offense for. whatever reasons, and I don't know what.
That's the question I'd love to ask. Sark, you know, tomorrow when he's on. the show, is, you know, what needs to be. fixed? Is it the offensive line? Is it, uh, inability to run the ball? Inability. to protect the passer? What What are the. issues here? But, um, I tell you what, Clark Lea's done a really good job with. that defense, and whatever the issue is. with, you know, Texas's offense, they're. going to try to expose them in the game. by, you know, how they come after them. So, it'll be interesting. I don't know. enough about Texas's backup quarterback.
to really make a comment on on how good. the guy can play or will play. Um, but I think it's going to be a game, and, you know, like Pat, you know, kind. of put me on the spot last week, you. know, in Nashville, so I had to jump on. the Vanderbilt bandwagon, and I really. can't jump off yet. Okay, I like that. I. like that you jumped on completely. Did. he give you a [ __ ] crown. when you did that? And you set it all up. I appreciate it. >> No, I just they were booing you, and it. was like, we got to address this here,
brother. Like, we we got a we have to. address this. This can't be the entire. time. And the fact that in a 45-second. period, it went from they were going to. boo every time you spoke. You know, that. that was the decision that they made, and I didn't know that until they. started doing it, and then I was like, yes, I love that they have done that. I. enjoy that type of [ __ ] I like when a. group of people come together and say, are we doing this? Yeah, we're doing. this. Perfect. Let's drop it on them. But, now we got to address that, and. then you being able to say, hey, listen, I was wrong. Cuz what's now is special,
and I agree with that. Don't you think. after going game day there, it's special. what they've been able to do? You You. mentioned it earlier about like, uh, Indiana and then Vanderbilt being able. to be very good versus maybe some of. these other perennial powerhouses that. aren't as aligned or set up going. forward. Vandy, their name's Vanderbilt, that family. They got a lot of money. there. I I think it's possible to kind. of go down there in Vandy. Don't you. think as well, coach? Like, for sustain. Obviously, Diego is the one that put the. key into the ignition and ignited this.
entire thing. But, I think it's. sustainable if they're able to keep. Clark and everything they're cooking, coach. I do, too, and, you know, they they. I'm not going to say it on the air, but. they have a significant amount of money. in their collective, uh, which I think. they were able to get because Diego. brought some success to the program. People could see the value, uh, and exposure [clears throat] that. that gave the university and the. program, uh, and it's very bene-. beneficial. So, um, they've made a. commitment, and it's it's it's showing.
and it's paying off. So, um, kind of kind of kind of really. interesting, but really good for college. football, I think. Yeah, you can zoom out. It's. good. Vanderbilt, Virginia, and, you. know, Cincinnati, and peop- people who. have not historically been people that. we talk about, we're now talking about. them. And I think that's a good thing. Indiana didn't even have a foot- They. had a football team, but you wouldn't. know it. They didn't even have a weight. room. Indiana, it was in the Big Ten. Football state. Okay, this is a football.
state. Love football out here. Didn't. even really have a football program. And. then now with investment and the right. people and the transfer portal, they got. an impact stadium, renovations, and hope. for the next 10 years for football. I. think it's great for the sport. I think. it's amazing, but we're going to find. out the haves and the have-nots. I mean, that is certainly going to come. You're. going to have to get a group of dogs to. kind of transform a place if you want to. build it, but you can in this area. It's. been proven. Happy birthday, coach. We. love you so much. I'll see you out in. Utah. Appreciate it, man. Thank you so much. I.
appreciate you guys. It's always a great. experience to spend a little time with. you on Friday. What's the, um, what's the age now? 74. Damn. Jus- Just just to put it out there. I used to get three a side. It's not. based on handicap, it's based on age. Now that I'm 74, I'm starting to going. to start getting four a side. Just makes. sense to me. >> Yes, it does. Yeah, and you're Nick. Saban, so they don't like you, they can. get the [ __ ] off the court. There you. go, man. Ladies and gentlemen, the goat,
Coach Nick Saban. Happy birthday, Happy birthday, dude. All right, before. we get out of here, we'd like to. showcase all of the costumes of the. Thunderdome. Obviously, you have AJ. here. He is Edward Simpson. I think. you've done a great job this time. What was your inspiration? You said it. was a group of people. >> A bunch of peo- Yeah, just nationwide. People that I see on TV every single. day. >> I love everything about the toxic table, obviously. Harry Potter, wonderful. stuff. I didn't know much about Harry. before today. Yeah, [applause] and and. there's a lot more to know, if you will,
but but again, you know, I tried to. mention it's with with my question to. Danno about Bart Simpson, but yes, yes, it's it's very nice. You should dive. into Harry Potter. >> What What's above the left eye there? Looks like something's on your head. >> Yeah, not to the mountains, actually. It's, UH, IT'S MY SCAR. IT'S WHEN I. ALMOST GOT MURDERED. YES, and and my. mother saved me, and she got murdered. You do look like Harry Potter with those. glasses, and then obviously, right next. to you, Harry, we have, uh, for the. first time. ever, Heavenly Hulkster. Good to see you down. here from heaven, Hulkster. Thank you,
dude. Thank you for instead of the. advice. Great to be back to you guys. always. I I love yucking it up with you. fellas. And then with those things on, you can maybe come back whenever, right? Cuz Saint Peter kind of said you're the. one. Yeah, WHENEVER I WANT I DON'T KNOW. IF THAT APPLIES TO EVERYBODY UP IN. HEAVEN, DUDE, but again, be it Saint Peter about his, you know, I thought Jimmy Hart was my guy forever, and he is. Okay, dude. Well, I tell you, I really like Saint. Peter's good on the stick? Yeah, brother. He's He's.
[ __ ] HOLDING COURT AT THE PEARLY. GATES WITH people coming in. Cut promos? Oh, yeah. OH, YEAH. LIKE LIKE JIMMY THE. MOUTH OF THE SOUTH? LIKE THE MOUTH OF. THE SOUTH. >> He's the mouth of. He's the mouth of heaven. He's the mouth. of the pearly gates, you know, and guess. what? If Saint Peter doesn't like you, he's. going to let you know right away. PURGATORY, [ __ ] SEE YOU SOON. OR NOT. AND HE DOES that to me and that really. kind of gets him going, but again, he's. a Hulkster. He said, [laughter] you know. what, Hulkster? Let me GO FIND THE BA-.
Now I've remembered it. I. >> [clears throat]. >> I've remembered it. I've been having so. much fun up here, you guys have subbed. up. Things slipped through the cracks. He said, HEY, HULKSTER, HOW ABOUT SOME. 23-in. wide wings for those 23-in pythons. you've got, DUDE? AGAIN, REGULAR HEAVENLY NOMENCLATURE, YOU'RE LOOKING AT ABOUT A 16- to 18-in. wing, uh, and yeah, the Hulkster's got 23s to. match his biceps. So, the Hulkster's.
doing just fine, brother. >> I'm happy Saint Peter's taking care of. you up there, Hulkster. Love that, dude, man. How were the How's the back? I know. we asked you whenever you were here last. time if you had any regrets at all. throughout the entirety of your life, and with those 23-in pythons you're. talking about, your answer was, why was. I doing a leg drop, you know, cuz the. hips and the back took such a beating. How are the heavenly hips and the. heavenly back up there? I feel better. than I HAVE REALLY SINCE I WAS RUNNING. HOT with Nash and, uh, and [ __ ] KID.
SCOTT HALL, THANK YOU, HOOP. COINCIDENTALLY, I PLAY cards with every. Friday night. Uh, but yeah, YOU KNOW, I. I I HAVEN'T felt that good since I was. running hot with those guys back in LA. >> [laughter]. >> Saint Peter did mention that. He said, listen, Hulkster, I hate to do this. I. don't want to do this. Did we ever think about maybe a sleeper. hold instead of the leg drop? And I just. said, Saint Peter, you son of a [ __ ]. come here, dude. And we kind of, you. know, we we Greco-Romaned a little bit, and that was the end of it. But, yeah, the the Hulkster.
I I'm doing just fine, brother. Yeah, and we're doing just fine. We got to see. you, obviously. I hope to see you again. And then behind the glass, obviously, you got Hot Dog Jackson, Dart, Tush Push. John, and, uh, Old Florida Man. Thanks. for showing up today, boys. Hell yeah, brother. We're boys. Do you think the. tush push fan is going to become like. kind of a thing, maybe ass cheeks on the. head to save the play? Cuz it feels like. everybody's against you guys. >> That play's not going anywhere. Nobody. can stop it, not even the league. Refs don't stop it ever. That's kind of. And then they try to stop it post play.
It's kind of a part of the problem with. those ass cheeks on your head. I just. want to let you know that. Kind of a. problem. >> Go birds. What if we always talk about Big Dom? Mhm. You think they're going to pass a. rule that he doesn't say is okay that. Yeah, right. Big Dom's like, let me grab. your pen there. I got your vote for you. They can kiss my ass. All right, John, I appreciate that. Now, in the think tank, the boys have been. hanging. Obviously, we have an. incredible crew, and their costumes. delivered. Dirty graphic designer had. his birthday just a few days ago. Dressed up as, ladies and gentlemen,
Frozone, baby. There you go. That was good. Hey, this was genius. Sir, [applause] okay? Sir. Sir. Sir, Frozone. It is an honor to meet you, sir. You're a bi- Hey, we're big fans. how fast you are. That's a great. costume. YES. HOW YOU DOING, DUDE? HOW. YOU DOING? HEY. Good funzie. SEE YOU. HOW ABOUT THAT, FROZONE? AND HE AND HE SAID IT WAS good to see. you, too. You guys are boys, right? >> Yeah, well, I I just felt A LITTLE BIT. OF ANIMOSITY THERE. I I DIDN'T know why, BUT YEAH. FROZONE'S ready to race. anybody. Ain't that right? All about the. races. All the races. All times, any.

Uh, also, in the back room, uh, a. man who edits videos from being big to. being Tik Tok size. Uh, his name's Talk. cuz he doesn't talk much, and he makes.

He said you mailed it in on the. costume though. He said glasses and a. hat not enough. That's what Hulkster. said. I did say that. Booing you. Uh.
Florida man's booing you in the back. I. don't like it though, Taco. Disgusting. Hey, TACO. TACO. TACO. You're my Taco. Thank you. Muchas gracias, mi amigo. Good looking Taco there. Yeah, be a big be. Yeah. >> it is. Can he get him to flex? I don't. know if we have him on camera. Um ladies.

We appreciate you doing that. Good poker. shirt, obviously. Good visor and we see. the briefcase. What does that mean? Uh. you know, it's just totally legit poker. money. Okay, so it's chips. Yeah, of. course. Of course. Don't forget the. poker / sports betting gala is going to. be around 9:00. Famous celebrities. Won't say who for liability,

Uh he's a guy. who is always lit, dude, and he's. excited for the halftime performance. It's Mitt McMahon as uh Bad Bunny. Oh. Bad Bunny. Oh. BAD BUNNY. >> [cheering]. >> OH. SEE, I LIKE IT. I LIKE IT, Bad. Bunny. Bunny. Yeah, hey get You look good, buddy. Good. luck in your Super Bowl halftime show. A.

Hey, that's good. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, HARDY, can you. make SOME SPACE FOR MICKEY MOUSE? HOLY. [ __ ] MAN. SEE, OH, WITH THE GREATEST. COSTUME I HAVE EVER. >> [laughter]. >> THANK YOU, MICKEY MOUSE. YEAH, ALL. RIGHT. ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU. THAT'S WHAT WE'LL. SEE YOU TOMORROW on Monday. That's how.

That's. how we ended the show. >> [laughter]. >> Unbelievable. Hardy, I think this is. This is a really good effort. I think. you should be very proud of yourself. You're a massive big loud boy, aren't. you? I mean, Hardy's kind of your guy. You won a contest on trying to guess. what the order of his How many songs? 14. >> 14 song album. It didn't have an order. out there. Let's go ahead and do a.
contest. If one of these people can. figure out what the exact order is of my. songs, we'll give them two show tickets. There was one winner. Thousands and. thousands of entries. One winner. Uh. because the odds of that just absolutely. absurd unless you can really feel the. music. Unless you can really see the. story. Ladies and gentlemen, Hardy here. Baby Hardy. Boy Hardy. Thank. you, boys. Can we Can we sing a song real quick? Absolutely. Oh, no. Yep, this is what we. came for. I'm still the same old redneck [ __ ].
Don't give a damn. Ain't afraid to throw. a dead buck on my Instagram. Crane. alcohol in my cup. Got the whole house. wall to WALL AND [ __ ]. YEAH, GOOD WORK. HEY, THAT'S REALLY GOOD. NOT ENOUGH PASSION, I think, in the delivery. Cuz Hardy really puts on a show, but. that's the difference between Halloween. Hardy and Apple Hardy. Good point. Just. watch the difference here. Hardy, great. pen. Great pen. I'm surprised he didn't. somehow work the Hardy Boys into the.
Hardy costume. I should have maybe had done it. And. ladies and gentlemen, obviously one half. of the Hammer. Cowboys is dressed as Yinzer legend, Hall of Famer, Super Bowl champion, Coach Cowher. Thank you for joining us. today, coach. My coach. It's a true. honor to be here with you, boys, today. >> it been? What did you have to do. mentally to really attack today's show? Uh nothing. I just wake up, eat, breathe, and sleep football, as I said. before. Coming here and talking football. with you boys is what I was uh destined. to do. Obviously, I I feel good about.
being with you boys. I. We share uh the same iron in our blood. from the three rivers. Um it's just it's. just a true honor to be here. >> Yeah, and I like that you're putting a. little spotlight on Coach Cowher because. as a fellow Yinzer as well, we. We love that man. Ladies and gentlemen, please say hello to Hall of Fame. Yinzer legend, COACH BILL COWHER. YEAH. >> [applause]. >> COACH, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? IMMEDIATE. REACTION? What are your thoughts? So So, Tone, I guess that's my chin,
huh? >> Yeah. Well, see the See the thing, coach, is I don't have a chin. I I. learned that the other day when I shaved. my beard, so I had to, you know, come up. with this prosthetic. Yeah. I love the fact that we are we are. from the same bloodlines, the three. rivers that. the convergence of the three rivers. that landed in Three Rivers Stadium, that went to Heinz Field, that now sits. as Acrisure. And we are playing the Indianapolis. Colts this week, as you know. This is a.
reunion of the 2005 championship teams. I'm going back there this afternoon and. be with the boys tonight. I'm going to. give them a talk tomorrow. Ben's going. to pick me up at the for we go to the. walk-through and hopefully I get a. picture with A-Rod and Mike, myself, and. Ben. Okay, what's the song? That was a. pretty remarkable game, Pat. I don't. know if you remember that game in 2005. Let's talk about it. Okay. I remember. It was a um Go ahead. It was It was a game You always say.
there's ebb and flow in every game. We came out and got off to an early. start. At one point in the third, fourth. quarter, we actually sacked Peyton three. consecutive times. He had problems with. the protection at that time. All we had to do at that point, up by. three, was basically I didn't want to. just sit on it because you would have. enough time. So, we handed the ball to Jerome. And Jerome, who has never fumbled all. year, he happened to fumble the ball on that. particular play.
And the only people we had on the field. that time was a bunch of linemen and. slow tight ends that were blocking them. And so, as Harper picked it up, who. ironically enough had an incident at his. home the day before, um but he took off. Ben, going backwards, tripped him up and right there may have. been the best tackle of the entire. playoff. Here it is. All you got to do. is just don't fumble. And now, we are at dawn We're up by three.
And we're sitting there with Peyton at. the midfield. He throws two balls into. the end zone to our rookie, Brian. McFadden. They both fall incomplete. But you have. like a 52-yard field goal by Mike. Vanderjagt, who was the most accurate. field goal kicker at the time. And so, I called I tied I called timeout. to ice him. He looked at me like, "What. are you doing?" I'm thinking, "Well, what else am I going to do? I only got. one more timeout left.". He missed it. That game was epic only because the fact. earlier in the season,
we lost three straight games. And one. was an embarrassment on Monday night in. Indianapolis to that same team. So, that. was kind of a revenge tour we had that. season. We won eight straight that year and won. a championship, six of which were on the. road. And it was kind of a sense of it. was kind of a revenge. First was. Cincinnati, the last team we lost to. The second was Indianap or Indianapolis, who embarrassed us on Monday night. And. Tone, the third one was Denver, and we. had enough history with Denver to say, "We're going to beat you in your place,
Mike Shanahan." That was an epic game. Seattle and went to Detroit. Going up. there in the Motor Town. We were the. home team and I said, "Nope. We are the. away team. We're in We were in our white. jerseys because we've been underdogs. this entire trip because you said no six. seed can ever go to a Super Bowl, let. alone even win one. So, you know what? We're not only going to do it, and we're. going to do it as a road dog." And. that's what we did. Yeah, and Jerome, that is his hometown. He won a Super. Bowl for for the bus on the way out. What an absolutely wonderful story. Yeah, I got absolute chills you.
reminiscing on the greatness of that. 2005 team. I graduated high school in. 2005 and in 2006. So, we were living. that with you, brother. You need to know. we were living alongside of that. Are. you speaking to the current team because. what you just said there is like, "Hey, hard times during the season. Then we. got hot and we started rolling. It was a. revenge tour." Are you speaking to the. boys? I I have to go up to Buffalo on Sunday. for CBS. I got to leave Saturday night, but I think the bottom line is sometimes. the depth of despair. can take you to the heights of hope. And that's what we were able to go.
through. When you talk about losing. three straight games. in November. We lose seven and two, go to seven and. five. Everybody's counting it out. Here's a great story. I'll share this. with you, Pat, and we'll probably talk. about it. I'm going to talk about. Saturday night. We're getting ready on a Friday night to. play the Cincinnati Bengals. We're a six. seed and, you know, Mr. Rooney comes. into my office about 4:00 in the. afternoon. Everybody's gone. He says, "Coach, I How How are we. doing?" I go, "Mr. Rooney, I think we're. good. We had a good week work. I mean, Cincinnati, we know them well. Um I. think we'll be okay.". He goes, "I want to give you something.
here." I go, "Well, listen, we I go I go. I go, "What is it?" He goes, "Some. rosary beads." I go, "I'm not even. Catholic." He goes, "Just take them." I. said, "Well, I go, "We don't need any. luck." He said, "Coach, every little bit. helps." So, I said, "Okay." So, I took. them, put them in my pocket, and I sat. there and all of a sudden in the. Indianapolis game, after Peyton got that got that ball back. after the Jerome fumble, I went in my. pocket. I started holding that thing. I. go, "Come on, baby. Work your juju. Come. on. >> [laughter]. >> baby. Come on. Come on, baby. So, I held. them and we won that game. Bender checks.
lining up, I called time out. I went to. my pocket. I go, "Okay, come on, baby. Come on, rosary beads." Mrs. We go out to Denver. It's about, you. know, 10 minutes before I'm shaking. hands. We're coming in right getting. ready to come to the huddle. I go, "Shoot." I ran into the huddle. I ran. into the locker room. They go, "Where's. coach going?" I They just go to the. bathroom. Is he nervous? I go, "No." I. go, "I forgot the rosary beads." So, I. had to go in there, got them back, put. them in my pocket. And to this day, I. still have them. I'm going to pull them. out on Saturday night as I meet with.
some of the guys and just talk about the. element of. what happens with that football team. It. started at the top. It trickles down. We. were a special unit because we all had a. degree of sacrifice. We all had a degree. of commitment. And we all learned to. trust one another and have each other's. back. It wasn't our most talented team, but it was our closest team. And that's. what I'm proud of. And so, sometimes I. just sit there and say, "No matter where. you are, the depths of despair. can take you to the.
heights of hope." That's a bar right. there, coach. That's why you're a Hall. of Famer. That's why we're proud to have. you as a Yinzer and front of the. program. You're the man. And also, the. inspo for Tony Diggs on his beautiful. Halloween. Ladies and gentlemen, >> Tony Diggs, you made Tony, you made my. Halloween, brother. I love it. Thank. you. >> You made my childhood, coach. So, thank. you. >> [laughter]. >> We love that. Ladies and gentlemen, coach Bill Cowher. Thank you. Coach, all right. Uh let's. take a break on the other side and we'll. make our picks. We'll get out of here on this happy. Halloween feel-good Friday, October.
31st, 2025. What a day this has been. >> What a day. Just Bill Cowher popping. Did you know it was coming? Uh I had a. feeling, yeah. I was kind of piecing together there. late. And Bill Cowher's like, "Can't wait. So. excited. So pumped." He's actually. pumped that you did that. Look at you. >> It's awesome. >> Winning people over cuz in the past, it's gone the opposite direction. Yeah. Yeah. [laughter] I got fired pretty. much. >> Winning people over doing that, too. All. right. Be a friend, tell a friend. something nice about your change YOUR. LIFE. TAKE. >> [screaming].
>> JACK, YOU GOT ANYTHING TO SAY TO THE. TEAM HERE? OH MAN, YOU guys keep. crushing and firing everybody up. It's. bigger than you guys and this you guys. are the freaking best. Boom. Thank you, Jack. That's amazing. YES. GOD DAMN I. NEEDED THAT. >> [music].
>> WHAT THE [ __ ] IS THIS? >> We interrupt your regular programming. [music] with breaking news. We have. reports of a UAP approaching. Indianapolis. They have messaged to. officials they are coming to take over. the world. >> Government agencies have been alerted. that they plan [music] to land and. activate Earth's Armageddon switch. This. is literally the scariest situation. imaginable. A true doomsday [music]. scenario. Please stay calm, seek shelter. immediately, and pray to whatever God or. higher power you believe [music] in.
What is that? What? Landed here? I think Indianapolis. What? So, that. can't be. We got to go find these [ __ ]. [music]. Yeah? That's what we need to do. I think it sounds like something you. should do, Jack Carr. Yeah. I don't know. We need to Let's go. Come. on. Let's go. All right. Yeah, let's go. Yeah, let's. go. >> [music].

I've been saving this. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What is this thing? I asked for a. rifle. What is this? >> Yeah, it uh. It kills aliens. Yeah, I bought it. online. Deep web. That's certainly. convenient for us. All right. Here we. go. Hey. You be my spotter. Oh my god. It'd be my. honor. Let's go kill these. [ __ ]. >> this. Where are they? I don't know. Nope, they will not. get to that button. >> [music].

DOWN OUR PLANET. GO THE [screaming] [ __ ] OUT. THAT'S IT, JACK CARR. GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM, YOU SACK. OF [ __ ]. >> [music].
>> All right. Don't worry. I got this. That was awesome. I mean, they were. going to [ __ ] come in here. I mean, they just popped up [music] and then you. just shot them right in the [ __ ]. head. >> know. Good thing we saw that newscast. when we did. Well, that's the. >> [music]. >> That's why they do the live alert. I don't know. Did we know that But I. still. >> I feel like that should have been. disclosed when we bought this place. The. legit. Let's go and talk to the boys. [music]. Amazing. Let's do it. What a life you. live. Man, I'm just glad you had this. rifle and I had those binoculars. What. are the odds of that? I could see them. [music] Good thing I.
carry those with me everywhere I go. The. big one at the end really ate some. [ __ ] pain. Yeah, I feel like he. stopped somewhere on the way in. Snack. Yes, he did. Yes, he did. What do you think, boys? [ __ ] Jack. Carr's here. >> [music]. [screaming].
[music]. >> If that's not enough reason to buy his. new book, I don't know what is. [ __ ]. just saved the Earth. And nobody would. have known about it if it didn't just so. happen to happen right here with all. these cameras. Thank you, Jack Carr. Thank you, Jack. Carr. Thank you, Jack Carr. Thank you, Jack. Thanks, guys. Thank you, guys. Three-time world saver, Jack [music]. Carr, has done it again. We're all mind-blown that a global.
attack always seemingly happens [music]. when Jack Carr comes to the Thunderdome. But boy, we're thankful he's always. [music] there to save us all. On that note, Jack Carr's new book, Cry. Havoc, is available now. It's a. Vietnam-era thriller and the eighth. installment of the multiple time New. York Times best-selling series, Terminal. List. Hell yeah, Jack [music] Carr. Hell yeah. You know what? I think there's only one. thing left to do here. I've experienced.
Cafe con Leche time. I've experienced the wonderful culture. I've experienced the beautiful people. AND I THINK WE GOT SOME CANS OVER HERE. WE GOT SOME CANS OVER HERE. >> [laughter]. >> WE GOT SOME CANS OVER HERE. THIS DAY IN CORAL GABLES IS GOING TO BE. ONE THAT I WILL REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF. MY LIFE. RAY LEWIS STARTED HIS DANCE. RIGHT HERE AT MIAMI. ED REED STARTED HIS.
LEGENDARY RUN HERE AT MIAMI. THE LEGENDS OF FOOTBALL RUN DEEP. THE. MOMENTS ARE SPECIAL. THE NATIONAL. CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE IN ABUNDANCE. JUST. LAST YEAR, A LOVELY UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI. WOMAN DIVER FROM ITALY WON A NATIONAL. CHAMPIONSHIP. This thing's been staring. at me all. DAMN. DAY.
>> [laughter]. >> I'M A LITTLE WINDED. >> [laughter]. >> AND IT'S A LONG WAY. AND THE TOP. HE'S GOING TO SOMEBODY ARE YOU GOING TO. JUMP in and flip the side? >> Yeah. So, I'm tired for you. Oh my god. So, he's going to take the.
jacket off. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> he's taking the shirt off now. >> Okay. All right. All right. All right. Looking ripped. Yeah, looking ripped. Oh, he's taking. the drawers off. Ladies and gentlemen, the pants. WHAT THE DRAWERS? >> [laughter]. >> LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IF YOU COME TO THIS beautiful campus, you will notice quickly THAT THE. STUDENTS HERE LOVE THIS UNIVERSITY. THEY. LOVE. this atmosphere.
AND I'M WITH EVERYBODY. I THINK THAT U. IS BACK. GIVE ME. >> [cheering]. [laughter]. >> HE'S GOT THE SPEED ON. OH MY GOD. GIVE ME THE. >> [cheering]. [laughter]. >> CHAINS, BABY.
>> [laughter]. >> Here it goes. Oh god. Here it goes. Feet together. FEET TOGETHER. I THINK THAT WAS THE. LEADING SCORE FOR THE PENCIL. And he's got the U. Crushing it out. Oh. Oh my god. Back again with the. refreshing punch. Miami at Florida tonight. Let's have a. look at that again. Check out the form, Herbie. Oh man. Let's see the turn. And we need just a. bit. It looks pretty good. THANKS AGAIN,
BUDDY. PERFECT. [laughter]. PERFECTION. WEIGHT in and all. Hey. White. Lights. Go. This show stinks, and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. Mac and B on the. line with a gorgeous ascent. The. all-time leading tackler for the Green. Bay Packers. YOU PAID. DAMN IT. IF YOU TELL A FRIEND, TELL A. FRIEND SOMETHING NICE, it could change. their life. [music].
Hello, beautiful people, and welcome. back to our humble [music] abode, the. Thunder Dome. On this field day, happy Halloween. Friday, October 31st, 2025, hour three of the program BEGINS NOW. FOOTBALL. IT'S MAGICAL, AND UH BEFORE WE chit-chat. uh and give our picks for the weekend, we got to say shout-out to Zito and team. for putting together this spooky. spooky, spooky Halloween decorations.
They did a great job. And this is. Skelly. This is the one that got taken. That's a. uh local sports and weatherman uh Ed. Edward Simpson. Uh that was the Skelly. that was taken and returned. Thank you, Shipley, by those frat boys that were. taught a lesson in uh hard time with 50. push-ups while they were getting scolded. on the streets. >> Now, can you imagine if another group of. frat boys come and take Skelly out of. his yard again? >> Oh, after it was already returned. I'm. just wondering if there's a rival frat. that wants to come and take Skelly.
Hopefully not. So, I think what had. happened was from the messages that I. seen from it, it was actually own frat. turn in, and then also other frats. saying, "We don't Get. that we don't. want to do that. That ain't what we want. to do.". >> Oh, okay. We don't want to be. disrespectful to Mr. Shipley, you know. The one guy actually, from what we've. been told, actually said profusely to. his group, "No skeletons this year, boys.". Okay, no skeletons this year. So, these. guys, whenever you talk about feeling. bad, this group and then every group.
every fraternity in this state, I heard, from what I've been told, said, "That. ain't how this is supposed to go. Not. supposed to steal the daughter's. favorite skeleton that's out front. making it spooky season and celebrating. Halloween." And now they can smile. again, and the boys returned and did the. right thing. We we salute them. >> Yeah, I do. Talks to tables here at Harry Potter and. Heavenly Hogan. >> Hogan, Hulkster, uh what are your. thoughts on Skelly getting stolen? That. seems like a one-way trip to hell, brother. They return it almost woo. reversing woo card. Let's go ahead and. send right back to heaven, maybe? Is.
that how you think it'll be viewed by. Saint Peter or what? >> Nah, we'll see. He's pretty tough. critic, so I don't know. I think Really? >> Believe me. No, I'm just saying that. >> He is. Yes, he is. >> What'd you say? Yeah, well. >> [laughter]. >> You got something to say. with that [ __ ] stupid-looking. haircut? Hey, I've never You said You. said a couple hours ago, "HEY, HOW ABOUT. BEING TIPPY in a couple years?". Your your career's done, pal. You're. going to [ __ ] die in Toledo, Ohio, doing some [ __ ] newscast that no. one's watching. If you're a weatherman,
I could, you know, I Joe Don Ardo, WHO. MAY I JUST ASK YOU? >> HE'S A lovely guy. So, it's I WE WE GOT. HAS HE MADE ANY OF THE GRAVY, you. So, I was just going to say we actually. have an eclectic bunch that comes over. to my house every Sunday night. Uh you. remember Big Top Callahan? Yeah. Brian. Dennehy, he's there. Uh and then we got. Regis Philbin. Wow. Dikembe Mutombo. What? And then yeah, obviously Joe Don. Ardo comes over. It's one of those.
>> No no no [ __ ]. MCMICHAEL? >> [ __ ] IS BY MY HIP wherever I go. He's. one of the horsemen, obviously. We you. know, I mean he he me and him weren't. exactly the tightest when we were in the. WCW, but me and me and [ __ ] we see a. lot. So, yeah, he'll he'll stop over for. Sunday gravy every once in a while. IT'S. KIND OF TOUGH WITH YOU KNOW, JOE DON. ARDO, WE DIDN'T start out on the best. foot because. >> What? Well, my name's Terry Bollea, okay? Guess who also knows how to make. some Sunday gravy? The Hulkster does, dude. And I'm talking so much protein.
and oregano. And you put Italian. sausage, pork sausage. >> Tomatoes are freshest, obviously. The. freshest tomato Well, that's one nice. thing about being up here is the big guy. don't [ __ ] around with produce. It's all. the It's so fresh everywhere you go. UM. BUT YEAH, YOU KNOW, MY SUNDAY GRAVY, OBVIOUSLY, everybody loves it. They come. from miles and miles around. Joe's. gravy's pretty good, too. >> Okay. All right. It's not bad. But I'm. happy to see you two paisans up there. really making everybody happy. One half. of the hammer Dad. Cowboys coach Cowher.
is here. Now, let's dive in to the games. here. Last night, we were both on the. Baltimore Ravens minus seven and a half. We get the win, which is not good, by. the way, for the NFL. If both of us were. on the Ravens, and for us to win, then. the game had to be obviously more than a. one-score difference at the end. It was. And Miami didn't look terrible at the. beginning. Now, could have taken a field. goal, could have made a field goal. That. thing could have been 14-12 at halftime. Okay? Instead, it's 14-6, then the. second half goes how it goes, and. inevitably the Baltimore Ravens is who.
everybody thought they could potentially. be. They get a huge win on Thursday. football. We kind of forecasted that, did we not, Eddie Simpson? >> Yeah, we did. We thought seven and a. half was a lot, but we knew the Ravens. were going to cover. >> Yeah, and we like the Ravens going. forward because you know who else likes. the Ravens going forward? The. sportsbooks. Now, let's not think about. the sportsbooks. Let's take a look-see. here at who the public is on. You know, there's been quite a story to be told. throughout this NFL season on who the. public betting or the public money. exactly is upon. 87%.
on the Lions uh hosting the Vikings. 88%. on the Chargers traveling to the. Tennessee Titans team that just got. blown out by the Colts last week. 82% on. the Broncos and the Texans. That's only. plus one and a half, though. So, they're. just thinking that they win the game, even though the Houston Texans last week. looked unbelievable. Almost 80% on the. Chargers at 78%. Same with the Seahawks. when they're traveling to Washington. That's a long way to go to be. three-point favorites. Uh Patriots 77%. 75% on the Colts against the Steelers. Three and a half point spread there.
Okay, a lot of people thinking the Colts. offense is going to do what it's going. to do. But maybe this is the game that. kind of ignites that Pittsburgh Steelers. team like the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers. who took a couple losses, then turned. that into motivation, and then ran the. table, and they're going to be. celebrating that in Akron sure this. weekend. That feels like a big deal. Jacksonville Jaguars getting 74%. Good. for Liam Cohen. >> Yeah. Only two and a half. Yeah, only. two and a half point favorites, which is. why maybe 74% are on that. But even. traveling to the Raiders,
the Jaguars as a whole having that many. people believe in them at that, congrats. to him. Cowboys 68%. Yeah. So, there's a. chance that if they win or lose, it does. not matter. Uh Panthers taking on the. Green Bay Packers almost at 70% on the. Pack minus 12 and a half. That's a huge. spread. Bills favored by two and a half. at home. 66% of the folks are saying, "Listen, I've seen what this regular. season match-up looks like in the past, and the Bills win that." And then the. Bengals at 60% over the Bears, and the. Niners at 64% over.
the Giants. All right, so that's where. the public lies. We will certainly need. to be reminded as we go through here and. pick each one of these games. individually. Let's start with the. Broncos at the Texans. Broncos getting a. lot of the money. Texans favored by one. and a half down there in Houston. Edward. Simpson, A.J. Hawk, who do you like? How. do you like it? >> So, do we Do we not want to be on the. public side? Actually, uh you know, at. the beginning of the year, you did not, but uh Beginning of the year like the. first six weeks, right? >> Yes, yes. The first six, seven. seven weeks. The last two weeks, the.
public has been a lot better. Uh this. last week in there including last night, they're at six and six run on teams. getting 60% or more uh against. >> So, you're not winning. So, it the first. seven weeks, it was ass, and. then it's become a little fit Maybe. maybe the public's right. >> But Monday night and then last night, the uh they were both 70%, so. Is it starting to become too obvious. with the string of games that we've had. for the first time since 1970? Ooh, let's see if we have these big any. blowouts like a whole slate of poopy.
games again. Now, the favorites did a. big-time um W fest last weekend. A lot. of the favorites just blew out the teams. that weren't supposed to be good. Houston Texans favored over the Broncos. at home. C.J. Stroud had a good week. last week. Denver Broncos are who. everybody thinks they are, I think. The Denver Broncos coming in the season. at Super Bowl hoops. Go ahead, Con. >> Yeah, massive losses. No Surtain this. week. He's now out for 4 to 6 weeks with. that strained pec. That's a big deal. Definitely changed a. lot. The under here is definitely nice. I I was I was leaning.
somewhat heavy Broncos. You know what? With how C.J. Stroud and they they are. playing with the Surtain out, give me. the Texans. >> Okay, I'll take the Texans as well. Falcons Patriots, Patriots favored by. five and a half at home. Any super duper. lighter uppers uh happening up there in. New England? Uh I'm not sure about the. super duper lighter uppers. I know. Lawrence Guy. He Did it last week? >> Yeah, he beat Prather Cank last week. >> He is a dog, Larry Guy. Former teammate. of mine, absolute dog. >> Legend, yeah. He was in Green Bay in my. season. Green Bay as well. This is a.
great match up for New England. They. haven't a lot of 50-yard rushers yet and. even with Paddocks back and Drake London. and Drake London is still kind of. questionable. Christian Gonzalez is the best player on. New England. He he'll he'll take out. Drake London and so I I actually do. really like the Patriots here, which. again might be a really really bad sign. No Rhamondre Stevenson, so Trevion. Henderson, second-round pick out of Ohio. State now kind of becomes a premier guy, very excited to watch it. >> Yeah, he's a great player, Hulkster.
This Trevion Henderson, he's an absolute. dog whenever we last saw him play. Now. he's potentially going to get the the. load, if you will, of the runs. for this Patriots team. Falcons lose to. the Dolphins pretty bad. >> Yeah. But they're like this, aren't. they? They are, yeah. >> I I literally said on GameDay it was. like 2 weeks ago. I think it was. Michigan. I was like, Michigan is like. this. So this is literally what Michigan. is like. Last week they were like this, so this week that means they're going to. be like this. Only reason why I picked. them. Literally the only reason why I picked. them. Falcons kind of like that as well.
Wouldn't this be like the bad week to. face the Falcons with how their season. has gone, Hulkster? >> Well, I think that's why if you're a. Patriots fan, you're very excited to. watch this game because yeah, conventional wisdom would say, "Hey, it's the week the Falcons are going to. perform, dude." They've got to be horse. [ __ ] every other week. Kirk Cousins ain't playing. Listen, I. love Kirk, might be time to stick a fork. in that guy. What? >> He might be done. Forking Kirk? >> Yeah, I think so. Especially when you're. paying him 28 million to man, what a bad. idea that was. But it doesn't matter. IT.
DOESN'T MATTER CUZ YOU got you got the. young guy, Paddocks. He looks pretty. good. But if you're a Patriots fan, this. is the week where you could kind of. emphatically say, "Hey, we're a really. good team. We're supposed to get, you. know, Atlanta's best shot." And if we go. out there and just go belt the ass, beat. the piss out of them, then yeah. Yeah, we are the kids. >> Kirk Cousins is going to get a pair of. those. Kirk Cousins is going to Without. a doubt. I, you know, I don't do too. much of that stuff, you know, getting. the predictive markets of where certain. people are going to be up there. But.
yeah, you know, JUST IN KIND OF PASSING. CONVERSATION, Saint Peter said, "I'll. tell you what, I really like the cut of. that Kirk Cousins jib.". >> [laughter]. >> I don't know if he's going to get the. 23-in. uh you know, wings. He might be more of. A 16 TO 18-IN GUY, but I guess we'll. see. What are normal python sizes. compared to yours other than the wings? I I know you got bigger wings, but what. are normal python sizes? Uh I usually. don't even keep track cuz the Hulksters. are so [ __ ] big. Usually I'd say, I. don't know, you know, 11 to 12 in something. Like A.J. Hawk.
here. You're 23-in pythons. What do you. what do you. >> [laughter]. >> Go ahead and give a flex for me, son. I can't really show my arm. Yeah, I can. tell. Yeah, I mean he what is that? 12? You know, Hulkster's basically doubling. it up, A.J. Hawk. No way. Yeah. I feel. good. I'm here. I don't think I CAN. WELL, I DON'T KNOW. ACTUALLY, CAN YOU. HIT HIT ME WITH ONE OF THESE? NO, I'm. all right. Then go [ __ ] yourself, DUDE. >> [laughter]. >> YOU SUCK. I'M I'M I'M DONE WITH YOU. >> YOU WERE IN HEAVEN. YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED. TO [laughter] HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I. SAID, "BOO!" I'M DOING WHATEVER THE. [screaming] [ __ ] I WANT, BABY. I AM A.
REAL. AMERICAN. I'M A. REAL AMERICAN. HOW DOES EVERYONE ELSE. REACT TO HIM UP THERE? I WOULD IMAGINE. they don't love this. >> [laughter]. >> He's got those. There's no way they can. love this up here. Everyone else. >> card. He said He said those are the. platinum cards. You ever HEARD OF A. BLACK AMEX, DUDE? AMEX AMEX, YEAH. THAT'S BASICALLY what these are. >> [laughter]. >> AIN'T GETTING DECLINED ANYWHERE. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I'LL TAKE THE. PATRIOTS. OKAY, GOOD PICK.
>> [laughter]. >> I'LL FLEX THOSE MUSCLES WITH THE. Patriots as well, Hulkster. I love it. You guys are on ONE TODAY, DUDE. >> [laughter]. >> WHAT'S THE SPREAD? Five and Bill. It it's big. It's a big spread. >> [laughter and clears throat]. >> We do have some stats on size of biceps. We looked them up and this is what AI. had to say. There's three different. degrees of biceps. There's untrained. male, that's 13 to 14 in what I think. you were trying to say, Hulkster, to to.
A.J. And there's an active man, you. know, maybe a runner, a mover, but not. necessarily a lifter, 14 to 16-in. pythons. And then bodybuilders, obviously they got 16 to 20 in, but we. know that's not true because the top end. of that thing is 20 is the roof. Hulkster's more than just a bodybuilder. He's got 23-in pythons. But what AI is. saying is what you got strapped to your. shoulders right now not normal, Hulkster. >> YEAH, EXACTLY. THEY ACTUALLY FORGOT and. and it's not, you know, yeah, there is. bodybuilders and then there's one more. category and it's the Hulkster. And.
guess who sits in that category? The Hulkster and nobody else. Okay? Maybe Big Black, I know he had, you. know, which again, lovely guy. Lovely. guy. Robin Big, You hanging out with. him? You hanging out with him? Well, I don't know. What do you think? I. just said he's a lovely guy. So so you. think maybe. YOU THINK I SPENT IT? YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME I got to kill up. here? All of it. How much you can do? Okay, I'm happy to hear that. By the. way, we're all happy to hear that. Hardy. looked like he had some 23s on him.
Wouldn't that Wouldn't that count? Hardy, hey, did you wake up on the wrong. side of a truck bed this morning? Can. you come. Can you let the Hulkster maybe come see. what he thinks the size of the biceps. the the pythons are in uh right now? What category is that? >> I'll tell you what, D-Bone is living his. best life. He looks great. He's living. his best life. Hardy said that was sick. Okay. They really? Yeah, I just want to. let you know that, D-Bone. I think. there's a nod of approval from Hardy. there. Hulkster, if you had to look and.
eyeball these pythons, what would you be. saying there? That's what I'm talking. about. 23? Jav is going to Hey, can you. back up just a little bit? Back up just. a little No, like that way. Yeah, cuz Jav is going to Yeah. What do. you think there, Hulkster? I'll tell you. what, I like the CUT OF THIS YOUNG MAN'S. JIB. It's just The only thing I'm really. noticing is the 53-in waist. That's the. only thing that my eyes are going to. So. [laughter]. 42. 42? That's not bad, but we need to. trim that down a little bit. AREN'T YOU. ONLY LIKE 25, DUDE? COME ON, GET HEALTHY, BRO. HE'S A D3.
NATIONAL CHAMPION. I know, BUT YOU KNOW. WHAT HE ALSO DID? HE SAID, "WELL, I need. a solo cup for my costume.". You ain't get one over on the Hulkster. I've seen how many [ __ ] Dr. Peppers. you've been drinking today, dude. He's. been just EMPTYING THOSE THINGS. >> HULKSTER, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO CELEBRATE. THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR. You know, we're having can What's your favorite. candy, Hulkster? Uh. call me crazy, I'm a good buddy guy. Yeah. Yeah. I agree. You like those, dude? Yeah, I do. I KNEW I LIKED YOU. UM NO, BUT IT'S IT'S ONE OF THOSE THINGS. WHERE I I GET IT IS HALLOWEEN. We should.
celebrate. Do we need to be drinking 16 12-oz Dr. Peppers before 3:00 in the afternoon? I. don't think so. He's not going to be. honest WITH US. I KNOW HOW MUCH CANDY. THAT guy's eaten tonight. Okay, he needs. to enjoy it, obviously, especially with. the text from Hardy. Well, yeah. He's. having a hell of a day. You look good, brother. How do you think about his U-ball. performances lately? Have you seen him? I did some yesterday. He needs to get rid of the. the I mean, I I know he became a. pioneer. Thought that was a big deal. I. haven't seen him make one of them.
[ __ ] in like 2 weeks. He needs to. start shooting the U-ball. Shoot the. U-ball, son. >> [laughter]. >> Okay? Happy Halloween, Hardy. Happy Halloween, dude. HAPPY HALLOWEEN, HARDY. MOUTH. WE HAD NO IDEA HOW THIS WAS GOING to go. >> [laughter]. >> I had A PRETTY GOOD IDEA. I'M HAPPY TO HEAR THAT. WE'RE BOTH. [clears throat] ON THE PATRIOTS. YEAH. That makes everybody happy out here, I. think, no matter what the waist or the.
pythons are. Carolina Panthers Green Bay. Packers, Packers favored by 12 and a. half. Any other lines out there, Tone? There actually is. Uh Sorry, coach. You. can get anywhere from 13 and a half if. you want the Panthers down to that 12. and a half if you're on the pack. Okay, so you can add an extra. Panthers. quarterback Bryce Young has no injury. designation for Sunday, meaning he's. good to go versus the Packers, says Adam. Schefter. Bryce Young back getting a lot. of points if you want them in Lambeau. Man, 12 and a half points. What. What do they know that we don't know? I. know the Packers are good. I know Jordan.
Love is good, but the I think the. Panthers are pretty good, too, with with. Bryce in there. I'll I'll pick the. Panthers plus 13 and a half. Is that. what I can get? I'll take Panthers plus. 13 and a half. Give me the Packers, actually. Let's settle up, bud. 12 and a half, right? Yeah, give me the Packers. Micah. Micah's eating up. What do you have? How. many sacks last game? >> Just one. Are you saying no back door cover. because Micah at the end of the game? Is. that what you're saying? Micah eats kind. of a back door cover machine. >> For real. That's when he That's when. they feast. That's when you get those. sacks. That's a great point. Actually, like that is that is something to think. about here because in my mind it's like.
Bryce Young, good player. Bryce Young, good player. Carolina Panthers, good team, we think. Like not ass. Like that is They're four. and four. Yeah, we think they're a good. team. Like going into the season, I. don't think anybody had any expectations. cuz they're Carolina Panthers and. everything like that, but they are a. good team. And I think they're only. going to continue to be a good team in. that NFC South. 13 points feels like a. lot of points. It it just feels like a. lot of points for that team. This. strikes me as a recency bias type deal. because the Panthers did not look good. last week and granted it was Andy. Dalton. He basically came out afterwards. and said like, "I didn't tell anybody, but I had a [ __ ] broken thumb the.
entire time." So not easy to play. quarterback when you got broken thumb, dude. But then you also look at the. Packers. Big time emotional win, you. know, Jordan Love looked unbelievable. He was the FedEx Air Player. [clears throat] of the Week. So, maybe. that's you know. getting into this a little bit. >> How How'd you know he's the You pay. attention [clears throat] all the year? I read the tabloids quite a bit. Yeah, I. just check in, see what's going on. And maybe I don't know. Maybe I have a. little say in who uh. >> [snorts]. >> who's going to win, you know, these. >> That's FedEx Air Air Player of the Week.
I also am big I kind of spearheaded the. uh Who's the Pepsi Rookie of the Week? That was also you one of the Hulkster's. kind of big moves. Uh who was that this. week? Uh [ __ ] I don't know. >> [laughter]. >> Prime I'm trying to think rookie of the. top of my head. I DON'T KNOW. [laughter]. UH. TYLER BOYD, PROBABLY. THAT SON OF A. [ __ ] WINS IT EVERY WEEK. SO, MAYBE HIM. THIS STRIKES me as a game. that the Packers win by 10 though. I I'm. right there with you. I don't. You know man, that's a tough number.
13's a lot. >> Yeah. All right, good for me with the. Panthers. Hopefully I look like a smart. guy with that pick as opposed to just. not going with the obvious. The Packers. are very good and maybe we're not. showing them enough respect in the. conversation of what can happen in the. NFC, but the sportsbooks like where. they're at. Okay, let's go with the. Chargers traveling to Tennessee. Chargers nine and a half point favorites. against Tennessee Titans team that just. got decimated by the Indianapolis Colts. I'll say this from watching this team, Cam Ward's electrifying. He is. electrifying. Now, I don't know how much.
of it is like, hey this is sustainable. in NFL because he's making like these. nasty we've over top of linebacker in. front of a safety, guy running 20 miles. an hour across the field, perfect throws. under duress. I mean, he's doing [ __ ]. that's like outrageous with that. And. their team stinks. So, if the team was. to get very good, you would assume that. Cam Ward becomes guy like everybody. else. But then you know, they're going. to get caught into a who's coach wins. coach, who's coach wins coach if they. don't figure that out. So, I'm very.
worried about potentially Cam Ward's. entire career, especially with the. glimpse that we saw in person at the. Loud House this past weekend. On that. note, Colts steamrolled them. Yeah. And. Colts are very, very, very good football. team. And so I think outside of. Indianapolis, outside the Colts fan. base, everybody says, well this Titans. team must be ass if the Colts did that. to them. It's like this Colts team. best team in football right now. And the. Titans have ruled out Calvin Ridley. again. Mhm. Jeffery Simmons again, they. weren't playing last week. Arden Key and. Xavier Woods for Sunday's game against. the Chargers. Go ahead, Con man. I would.
just look at all four of those guys to. be traded by Monday. Like that that is. the one thing in going into this weekend. that's interesting is all these poopy. teams, the guys who aren't playing, it. they just seem to be type types of guys. that might get moved. >> Okay, so that's potentially a decision. like let's not get hurt. Let's get not. get these guys hurt. We know where we're. at, we know what's possible, and good. business could potentially to be get rid. of some of our good parts so that we can. build this thing in the future around. Cam Ward. Not that those guys wouldn't. be helping him, but also getting rid of. your best players is telling the entire.
fan base like, yeah. it's going to be a while. Yeah, two. months to regular season left too. That's what's crazy. Yeah, already. already fired their coach and Jeffery. Simmons has been, you know, hurt for a. little. So, uh it might it might also. just be a lingering injury. >> And Ridley as well. >> Yeah. So, he was out last week at least. So, you know, the Colts people around. the Colts, people in building, were expecting the Colts to beat the. hell out of Titans. They were like, we. should beat the hell out of this team. They're hurt too. Like it's not it's not. good. >> Yeah. And then they go out and do that, it's like, hell yeah. Yeah. On the other. side if you're a Titans fan, that's not.
good to hear from the Indianapolis Colts. saying that. No, it's not. I was. actually going to lean Titans for a. little bit on this game. And then. obviously seeing Jeffery Simmons, all. these guys still out now, give me the. Chargers. Cam's special watching him. though. I remember Cam what he was doing. like when he from the day he stepped on. into that franchise like into the. building there, they it was unbelievable. everything about him. But the offense. needs to He's got a new offense coming, another one coming already into his NFL. career. Don't we all think though that. like NFL to win, the offense has to be.
like on time? Yeah. Scripted, everything. has to be like that. Cam's obviously. going to continue to develop and kind of. get in that cuz you think about back to. Miami, there was some magic happening. But then all over the place, him and Wes. Welker connected at the hip seemingly as. they were dominating everybody. A lot of. football gods blessing them as well. I'm. sure you see the football gods up there. running around. Old time WE MEET EVERY. WEDNESDAY NIGHT, DUDE. WEDNESDAYS cuz. there's no games on and then is that why. the football gods are kind of freed up. or. >> Yeah, typically they'll come over. Obviously they love Real American beer. as well. So, you know, they'll they'll.
have a couple pods with me. And yeah, we. kind of just chat about the LEAGUE AS A. WHOLE. HEY, LOOK for this team this week, and. Hulkster. Football gods going to bless. them. Oh, so it's kind of like inside. information you're getting on what the. games are going to happen almost, Hulkster? I didn't know that was. happening up there. Did you know that, Ed? I had no clue. It's crazy especially. with what's going on down here. >> Who's your favorite player? You got a. couple favorite players? Like two or. three? >> Like currently or are we talking like. Right now. Currently right now, who are. your favorite current players in the. league right now? Right now? Um. I mean, I like the cut of that Da'Ron. Payne kid. Mhm. I really do. I like that.
guy a lot, man. Uh who else do I like? >> Riley Cooper, DeJean. I can see you. liking him. I love him, obviously. Reep. like and chip, love him. Riley Moss, love him. Um. I mean, I could I. honestly I could just go on and on and. on. Patrick Ricard, don't you? Yeah, I. love that he's healthy. I maybe knew. that a couple weeks ago what week he was. coming back, dude. Maybe uh Do you like Lamar a lot? I actually you know what? I have come. around on Lamar. I WAS A BIG THIS GUY'S.
A RUNNING BACK playing quarterback, dude. >> that now. A lot of people are saying. that. That guy's quarterback. Yeah, he's. unbelievable. >> He His couple throws last night. I mean, you're talking [ __ ] yeah. At not seats. on the run just doing insane stuff. Him. being able to do that after pulling the. ping pong tables and everything, he's. special guy. Let's go to the next game. Uh. let's go Chargers Titans. Who do you. officially take? I am taking the. Chargers. >> Me as well. Let's go to San Francisco. 49ers taking on the New York Giants. 9ers favored by two and a half heading.
into MetLife Stadium. Who do you like? How do you like it, AJ? Two and a half. What am I What am I missing here to only. two and a half? Well, they should be. >> I mean, I guess. Texans had like 98% I guess San Fran had. possession against San Fran last week. Very banged up. No Bosa on the defensive. side. Go ahead. 1:00 game for a West. Coast team on the East Coast. >> Yeah, and you just add that into all the. other. >> the Giants. Yeah, I'll take the Giants. as well. I think we're seeing it the. same. That might be recency bias from. what we just saw from the 9ers, but it. was not good. >> I'm seeing Jackson Dart win over here.
That's the problem. >> on the Pat McAfee and I saw the boys. actually liked us to win. That's pretty. lit, dog. >> [laughter]. >> He's not going to like this. And we're. wearing the we're wearing the best. jerseys in football as well. I I got a. potted up for you right there. Boom. Uh. those are much nicer than Those are much. nicer than the. you know, we saw on Sunday night. >> Yeah, the They all yellow the Chargers. were. They tried to take your gimmick. almost. Yeah, and there's a reason. everybody hates that cuz they look at. yellow. and they associate that with Hulkamania, brother. Now and forevermore.
Amen. Fight for the right of. every man. I believe in. America. FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT. FIGHT FOR YOUR. LIFE, DUDE. WEDNESDAY NIGHTS WITH THE FOOTBALL gods. have to be so much fun. >> They're the best. >> Dude, I couldn't even. >> a band up there? You playing bass up. there still? Did you Did you even listen. to anything I said earlier? >> No, what did you The Hulkster doesn't. need to play the bass when you got.
[ __ ] Ozzy Osbourne and Meat Loaf and. guys like that coming UP AND SAYING, "HEY, HULKSTER, YOU MIGHT AS WELL SIT. DOWN. I'LL DO I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR love. right now." GUESS WHAT? YES, YOU WILL, MEAT LOAF. TAKE THE [ __ ] STAGE, DUDE. WHO ARE YOUR favorite players that are. up there now with you from the NFL? From. the NFL? No, he The Hulkster's going to say, "Don't Don't make ME I WAS I WAS NOT. PREPARED FOR THIS QUESTION AND I DON'T. WANT TO GET ANY GUYS PISSED OFF CUZ. GUESS WHAT? WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT. THESE GUYS WHEN THEY PASS. WE'RE TALKING.
ABOUT, you know, mean, lean, fighting. machines from when they're in their. mid-20s. >> Oh, so that's the answer. So, that's. what you show up as, your best version. is If you want to. If you want to. >> options. >> Yeah, you you know, if you wanted to be. like Marlon Brando for for example. >> Yeah. Obviously he was the Godfather. He was. Don Corleone. He gained like 150 lbs when he was in. Apocalypse Now. Basically just turned. into like a fat slob. When he got up to. heaven, he said, "Nah, [ __ ] it. I want.
to be the fat slob version of me." And. everyone was like, "Marlon, you're the. man, dude." So, IT'S KIND OF IT'S KIND. OF DEALER'S CHOICE. IT'S UP TO YOU. YOU'RE YOU'RE breaking a lot of news on. what's happening. I try, you know. Not. everyone's fortunate enough to get up. there, brother. That's the. >> [laughter]. >> the Fu Manchu. very strong. I It makes sense now. especially with how big the biceps are. that you pick the best version. This is. the greatest Hulkster that you had the. entire run, you think? >> I think you could argue that again when.
I was, you know, running hot with Nash. and uh Hall in, you know, like '95. >> YOU COULDN'T BE NWO. EXACTLY. YOU CAN'T. BE A HEEL UP THERE CUZ SOMEONE'S GOING. TO WALK OVER TO YOUR HOUSE, DUDE. NO. ONE'S GOING TO WANT TO COME TO HOGAN'S. HANG OUT. >> of babyfaces up there. A lot of. babyfaces up there. Exactly. So, you. know, IT'S LIKE COULD I HAVE DONE AND. And every once in a while I will. You. know, I'll grow the the black beard back. and just to see what people do. I'll. stroll around. They got paint up there? Yeah, well, you know, not really paint. I'll just wake up and BE LIKE, "HEY, SAINT PETER, I WANT TO LOOK LIKE UH.
HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN TODAY." AND BOOM, IT JUST HAPPENS IMMEDIATELY. And I'll. sometimes I'll just walk right down the. main strip and be. Just you know, KIND OF REMEMBER PEOPLE, YEAH, HULKSTER GOT THAT FASTBALL, TOO. YES, he does. Yes, he [laughter] does. Vikings at. Lions. Lions favored by nine and a half. at home against the Vikings. Interesting. conversations around the Vikings were. had earlier today by us. >> Oh, yeah. But with the trade deadline. looming and no answers really for some.
teams, especially teams that were like. in contention to be the number one seed. in the NFC just last year and have a lot. of, you know, questions still. It's very. important. Like J.J. McCarthy's guy, okay, sounds good. We appreciate that. Saw him do a shed uh. drill sprawl shed sprawl drill last. week. So, we're assuming he's getting. healthier to be back there. Trade. deadline Tuesday. Who knows who's. buying, who's selling, who's making. massive moves? We assume somebody will. But, the Vikings vastly different place. than we thought they were going to be. in. And the Lions also, if you asked.
Schrager going into the year, you lose. both coordinators. I don't think it's. going to be as good of a year. Let's go. ahead and just completely reverse that. The Lions sitting where the brand new. Lions have been sitting. Now, Foxy, 9. and 1/2 point favorites at home. How do. you feel about it? >> Yeah, Lions coming off the bye week, by. the way. And if you remember, 2 weeks. ago, we played the Bucks. Secondary was. absolutely ravaged. We're getting. Terrion Arnold back. We're getting Brian. Branch Branch back. But, Kirby Joseph, D.J. Reed still out. But, J.J. McCarthy. homecoming game. When the Lions are.
favored by a lot at home, over the last. 2 3 years, they tend to cover the. spread. So, I'll just leave you guys. with that. Okay. Um Con Man, which way do you lean in. this particular match? >> it feels as though it's going to be a. panic in Minnesota on Monday. And and. the Lions might be kind of hitting their. stride a bit here. So, I'm definite I I. love the Lions. >> Coach Cowher, you're you like MCDC. I. think you see a lot of yourself. potentially in the way he operates. What. do you think about this game? Love MCDC. Uh I took the divisional game. Big time.
I took the Lions. You can get them at. minus 8 and 1/2. Uh I just you don't. like the the vibes going on in Minnesota. right now. Ed uh Simpson, what are your. thoughts? I like the Lions here, too. I. can get them at 8 and 1/2, you say, Tone? Yep. Yeah. Li- I mean, this is. going to be Can you imagine the. environment? What time is it? Noon or Uh. 1:00. 1:00. 1:00 game, okay. It's still. going to be a raucous environment. I. don't know if Kid Rock is playing. halftime, but either way, that place is. going to be going. He he did his. costume the other day. He did. Jeez. The.
um I'll take the Lions. Let's go to the. next one. Colts versus Steelers. Uh I. like the Colts minus 3 and 1/2 over. there in Aquisition. The only worry is. that that spray painted dirt might be uh. going too fast into people's eyes as. Jonathan Taylor is doing his thing. against that Pittsburgh Steelers. defense. He's going to pop off at least. one or two long ones. I I mean, that's. just what the Colts have been doing and. have, you know, kind of consistently. shown to be who they are. Explosive. plays in the run game. And then also, Danny Dimes doing his thing. Only 3 and. 1/2, Coach Cowher. Did you expect that.
or did you think it was going to be a. little bit more? And on that note, only 3 and 1/2 is being said about the. Indianapolis Colts in 2025 heading into. play the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah. On. the road. They're favorites. Yeah, I I. thought it was going to be more. You can. get minus 3 if you want, not that you're. going to need it. Uh Jonathan Taylor's. going to have one or two of those runs a. drive. Uh Jeez. Damn. [laughter] Coach, I Two. tubs a drive? >> What is it? The depths of. despair can take you to the heights of.
hope. Coach ain't walking through that. door. He is. He is. Not He's going to. walk in. Speak to the team on Saturday. Not this current team, the team that won. Super Bowl in 2005. Uh Colts haven't won. it in uh Pittsburgh since 2008. I assume. that's going to change. Wow. >> Um I'm I'm thinking this. >> won a game in Pittsburgh since 2008. Really? That's crazy. >> Indianapolis Colts versus the Pittsburgh. Steelers for my particular era of. Indianapolis Colts time. Hard time. Big games for the Pittsburgh Steelers. have come against Indianapolis Colts. Everybody's playing the best football.
that they've ever played in their life. against Indianapolis Colts for the. Pittsburgh Steelers, including Troy. Polamalu. He just has a sense to do. everything wrong in a moment where he. needs to go left, he goes right somehow. I love that man. Uh but, a lot of people. on the internet are saying like this. could be an Texas A&M versus LSU. situation where it's a blowout. The. stadium's empty in the fourth quarter. Rooney's looking around like, oh, we. need to make a change. I don't know. That's what you were just saying about. Minnesota. Do we get a couple of those. coming down the pipe uh down the pipe. here for the NFL? I like the Colts minus. 3 and 1/2. A.J., your thoughts on the.
game and who you like? Yeah, I like the. Colts minus 3 and 1/2. I I mean, does the Steelers defense figured out? I. don't I don't think this is the week to. to figure it out against Danny Jones and. Jonathan Taylor. So, no. Give me the uh. Colts. >> Okay, so you like the Colts minus 3 and. 1/2. Do you think the quarterback for. the Steelers is going to be mad at. Edward Simpson for picking the Colts in. this particular game? Uh if he ever. became aware of the pick of Ed Simpson, sure. I'm sure he'd, you know, have a. snarky remark. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, I think there probably would be. >> Oh, yeah. Cool, bro. That's cool. Lose.
some hope. >> [laughter]. >> Lose some hope. I saw a good Halloween. party coming out of Pittsburgh. I heard. about it, too. I heard about it, too. Both celebrating. It's good news. Couple. losses, maybe they don't want to be. around each other. Why we spending time? They do Halloween, maybe that changes. it. And on the other side of the field, Indianapolis Colts, yeah, they had max. participation at the Halloween party. And they were having good times. Yeah. Mhm. Love that move. That That's an elite move. I didn't know.
that move still existed. >> Me, neither. >> in 2025. My From what I've been told at team. gathering social sorry, [clears throat]. camaraderie building gathering, from. what I've been told from Colts, one of. players, okay, on team, not not a. starter, just on team in general. Two cups. drinks. Okay? Yeah. Maybe found one. made another one, had one from earlier, found where it was. Okay, now you have. to or just straight up, I'll take two,
please, because I don't want to come. back here, there's a lot of people or. whatever the case is. And. allegedly, somebody's coming up to. leave. Person puts one beer. in other beer. Okay, it starts flowing. Daps up. So, have a good one. Takes beer out. Drinks immediately from. both beers. Keeps conversation moving. When you have that type of happening. Yes. in your team, boy, is it dangerous. in Indianapolis. Every story I hear coming out of that. place, I'm like, cool. And Bill Cowher. just told the story about the Pittsburgh.
Steelers team, how he said it wasn't our. best team, but we were definitely the. tightest. That was the tightest team. he'd had. This Colts team, I think, is. very very very very very tight. And. that's a wonderful thing to have. And. it's very obvious whenever they play. It's very obvious that they know each. other and that they understand what the. hell's going on. >> And it just took uh Danny Dimes, the guy. to kind of bring them all together. Like, his He see He does have a very. like calming demeanor. And he's also in. charge. Like, I I love what he does. And. they have a confidence in him knowing. what he's doing, I think, you know? Like, he's the first one that hopefully. that there'll be some consistency over. last long time, because there's been a.
lot of turnover. We shall see. Danny. Dimes is cooking. It's going to be fun. to see if he can do a little get back. for about 10 years of Colts-Steelers. football this weekend. Bears taking on. the Bengals, 1:00 on CBS. Over/under 51. and 1/2. Okay, 51 and 1/2, that's big. boy. offense stuff they're saying. Bears. favored by 2 and 1/2 heading into the. Cincinnati Bengals, who have had three. players in like the last week ask for a. trade. One of them being released and. heading back to another team. That team. celebrating him coming back as if he was. doing hard time somewhere else.
Uh let's talk about Bears-Bengals. Uh Tone, any other numbers there? And. who is the percentage on for this one. again? So, it's 2 and 1/2 across the. board. Uh 60% is actually on the Bengals. for this one at home. >> And it Yeah. >> He's got a sprained AC joint in his. throwing shoulder. He was day-to-day. It's super painful. And they just they. just activated Sean Clifford, a beefy. uh quarterback who was on the Packers to. the practice squad. And then Oh, [clears throat] boy. DeAndre. >> What? He's good.
>> hope for Bengals fans. You not want to see four quarters of. Sean Clifford football. You don't, dude. You don't, okay? >> Why not? You don't know? I do know. No, you know you don't know. that he's He was the last great Penn. State quarterback. Yeah, it was Zac. Taylor, too. A long time ago. They never. think they win anything Penn State. No, listen, he's a he's a great dude. 2016, was he there? >> [clears throat]. >> Get out of here. He was there for 10. years, so he might have been in some. capacity. Oh, I forgot he did play. >> He was there for like 10 years, yeah. Which is why we came in Packers back up.
quarterback. He was like 6 years older. than Jordan Love. You got drafted like 2. years later. He was like, what the. hell's going on here, dude? So, they got. rid of him. Uh you basically need to You. trade for Flacco, your season's going to. go down the pooper with you with this. game. You need to play Flacco. Listen, I. know it's not great, but if his arm. falls off, it falls off. That's how Joe. would want it. >> Is Caleb a guy, HARRY, OR NOT? >> [groaning]. >> HARRY, THE WIZ. >> [laughter]. >> THAT'S CALEB. THAT'S CALEB. >> WHO WOULD YOU compare him to? Uh yeah, I mean, in my in my world,
he's got a little bit of Malfoy in him. Uh I mean, you you look around that. class, it's it's hard to say he's one of. the one of the top guys. No, hold on. With Ben Johnson, they're cooking now. Bad news, because when the run game got. going for the Chicago Bears, they really. started rolling on the offensive side. DeAndre Swift is out Sunday versus the. Bengals due to a groin injury. Groin not. great for a running back, not great for. any explosive. uh position. We hope DeAndre Swift gets. healthy on the other side of it. You. like the Bears or the Bengals, A.J.?
Bears going in as 2 and 1/2 point. favorites into the jungle. I don't love. the Joe Flacco situation. AC joint, that's one of the one of the few you can. shoot up with like lidocaine, they can. try to numb it for the game. They Some. teams will do that. But, I will take the. Chicago Bears on this, actually. >> I will take the Chicago Bears as well. Jaguars-Raiders, you like Liam Cohen or. you like Tom Brady potentially making. massive plays before trade deadline? >> Give me Liam Cohen and the Jags. >> Me, as well. New Orleans Saints taking. on the Los Angeles Rams. Rams favored by. 14 and 1/2. I know that'll get Frozone.
jacked up around here. Frozone's going. to have to You're going to be able to. see his excitement through the Frozone. costume, potentially, Frozone. You get. 14 if you want. Okay, you can get 14 if. you like the Rams. Are you going to DO. THAT? WHO'S HOUSE? That was Frozone in the background. We're able to catch him. If Hulk If. Hulkster mentioned Sean Clifford, Tyler Shucks about to get [ __ ]. destroyed by this Rams defense. They're. they're fresh off the bye, and they just. before the bye beat the [ __ ] out of the.
Jaguars. So, Tyler Shuck played a lot of. football in college. He's been there, done that. He has seen it. You talk. about Sean Clifford playing a lot of. college ball, Tyler Shough as well. And. they they talked about him being. drafted. Well, why did you draft him. that late if he's going to be your. starting quarterback? Well, he wasn't. going to start the season. Obviously, they had Rattler in there. And then now. Rattler's out, Tyler Shough coming in. I. think Kelly Moe believes this is. potentially a guy. That was the convo. going in. We shall see against this Rams. defense that has been hungry and eating. Uh the young boys are very good over. there. I like the Rams minus 14. Yeah, I.
like the Rams minus 14 as well. Okay, Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Buffalo. Bills. 52 and 1/2 point over/under. Josh. Allen and Patrick Mahomes always perform. against each other very well. 2 and 1/2. points are what the Chiefs heading into. Buffalo are favored at as. How do you. feel about it, AJ? Is there any other. lines or any other piece of information. we should know, Tone? >> Yeah, that 2 and 1/2 actually just. disappeared. So, you can get the Chiefs. minus 1 and 1/2 or you can get the Bills. at plus 2. Okay, so AJ, whatever you. think about this game, what are your. first thoughts? Like I said earlier,
some this seems like one of those games. where the Bills might find a way to win. at home and then the Chiefs get them. later when it really matters. But I have. a feeling like I think the Chiefs. continue to roll. I'll give me the. Chiefs minus 1 and 1/2. >> Okay, on that note, there's a little. piece of news coming from the back room. Pacheco has not practiced. Uh uh here's. the injury report for the Kansas City uh. Chiefs. Josh Allen and Isaiah Pacheco. knee did not participate on Wednesday or. on Thursday. All eyes will be on Pacheco. here on this Friday. Now, what they're. listed as at practice big storyline.
Yeah. Big storyline. Cuz we all thought. what we saw last night with Lamar. Jackson was actually coming back on. Sunday. And then all of a sudden that. wasn't the case. And we all knew though. We all knew that what Lamar was going to. do. Yeah. We all knew what he was going. to do. Ravens get a big-time win with. Huntley. Lamar does his thing last. night. Now, everybody's going to have to. properly document if you're a. participant or you did not participate. or if you're a limited participant. Well, he did every single rep that a. scout team quarterback would do. That's. full participate. guy. And then the NFL goes, "No. Full.
participant from that guy would be. starting quarterback full participation. That's actually limited participation. cuz he's doing scout. >> Is that in the rule book? I have no idea. So, It will be now. >> The NFL has fined the Baltimore Ravens. $100,000 for violating the league's. injury report policy by incorrectly. listing quarterback Lamar Jackson's. practice participation status on Friday, October 24th, 1 week ago from this. moment right now. Yeah, they they said. cuz he was a scout team quarterback. What the Ravens said was he was our. scout team quarterback and he did. everything. >> Mhm. They're like, "Full participant.".
And then the NFL goes, "That ain't how. this He's Lamar Jackson. So, if you go. full participant, he's obviously full. participant.". >> taken him out one series. Taken him out. for one series. Say he was limited. Don't take every rep as a scout team. quarterback. Well, they're Well, I think. what the NFL is saying is that Baltimore. was trying to lie to people to say Lamar. was full participant, so they thought. Lamar was going to be playing. I think. is what the NFL. >> Yeah, oh yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I It is a kind of I. we haven't heard that before. No, that's. why I think they're they fined him cuz. hey, you can't be lying about what.
participation is. So, on that. >> know though. Like that's weird because I. I know like people coming back from. injury like, "Hey, we're not going. You're not going to play your position, but you go take go take some reps go run. the carded reps." Like if you're a. wideout, you can maybe can run some 75%. routes and see how you feel. Yeah, but I. don't think if you're a starter, you. could be listed as a limited participant. is what as a full participant. You have. to be listed as a limited participant. cuz you're on scout team, not on. starting. >> it now. I get it. I We just learned. this. Just learned this through the. Lamar Jackson situation.
>> Thank you, Lamar. >> Thank you, Lamar, everybody. >> Thank you, Lamar. And then the NFL. getting to the bottom of it cuz we need. more accurate information when we're. making these picks. It's not just us. A lot of people trying. to make these picks. And then are the. lot of stuff coming out about. what happened in basketball and then. what happened over in Turkish soccer. Yeah. Oh. Not good, dude. >> one flew under the radar. Well, we certainly saw it because it. involved a lot of people and it's. certainly a sport we cover on a regular. basis. >> There's other basketball people. involved, too. It seems like really just.
We're at the beginning. Oh, [ __ ] tip of. iceberg. We'll get to it. rigging the. game. And then that person's going to. have to come out and say, "No, actually. I owe I owe $250,000. I lost in this. tournament thing." Yeah, I owe I owe. $250,000. I lost in this tournament. thing. I'm actually the victim in this. tournament. I think there's a chance. that that's going to start happening, you know? Cuz there's going to be a lot. of potential misconstruing of. information. But also, maybe it's over. Maybe that's all they got. >> Could be. Yeah. Maybe that's all they. got. >> Hopefully. Maybe. Hopefully, for the. good of sport, that's all it is. You. like the Chiefs or the Bills? I like the.
Chiefs here. Give me the Chiefs. Oh. I couldn't pick. the Chiefs last week cuz you did. Chiefs road out running back Isaiah. Pacheco and Josh Simmons for Sunday's. game at Buffalo. I'll take the Buffalo. Bills. What can I get them at? Buffalo Bills. plus 2. They always win the regular season one. Does seem to be that way. >> It's always close game, too. Two points. could be a one point game. >> What's the weather like? Are we having. any situations? It's getting cold and.
windy and anywhere? I think it's still. like 50 and sunny in the northeast. I. don't know I don't know about Rochester, but it will be a thing later on, obviously. >> It will. Yeah, not for the Chiefs. though. Chiefs are their stadiums ass, too. I mean, they get they're cold as. hell. Remember the Dolphins? That was. one of the real all all It all comes. down to that. How many people's fingers. fell off? Remember coach McDaniel came. to the old studio? Yeah, that was cool, man. >> That was great. We believed from the. moment. he came in. We liked the way his. attitude was. Still do. >> Loved it. We like he he kind of felt. like an outlaw, you know? Just kind of.
his own man, his own being. Wasn't going. to change for anybody. And last night he's chewing people out. It's like, "Yeah, he's got a little fire. in there, too." He's. >> up. What was Who was that? Coach. Oh, that's the old Question is if they. move on from him, does he get another. head coaching opportunity anytime soon? No. No? He's got a. >> so. Well, I guess Hawkster's seen a few. He's going to coordinate. Thank you, Hawkster, for that. Is that They talked. about that football gods meeting. And. then. uh so we're both on the Chiefs and then. Seattle Seahawks taking on the.
Washington Commanders m- Sunday night. football. 2 and 1/2 point favorites for. the Seattle Seahawks. Is there any other. lines out there, Tone? >> Yeah, if you want the Commanders, you. can get three. Okay, AJ, Washington. Commanders at home getting three points. or Seattle Seahawks favored by 2 and 1/2. on the road. Go ahead, Tone. I believe. Jahan Jahan Dotson is playing Terry. McLaurin out. Okay, Terry McLaurin no. Commanders announcing Jahan Dotson to. will start, yes. How's that change. anything you're saying? The Seattle. Seahawks team very good at the football. Have had massive wins on the road on a.
very regular basis under this McDonald. coach. I think he won like his first. nine or 10 away games and I still don't. know if that streak is going right this. moment. I should know better by this. point of the season. But Seattle's real. deal. And they're going into Washington. as 2 and 1/2 point favorites. AJ, who do. you like? How do you like it? So, I'm. fully on the Seattle Seahawks bandwagon. JSN, Sam Howell, I love what they're. doing. I think their defense flies. around. They give me Seattle. I would. take the.
It's hard cuz I I love Dan Quinn and. Jayden and what they do, but I just man, Seattle. They got something to them. >> They're wearing their throwbacks. Seattle's wearing theirs. >> Like these right here what we see right. here? No, no, like the real throwbacks. like Sean Taylor. They're they're. they're going to bring back the old logo. and everything. Hawkster, how accurate. is this? Do you. know? How accurate or what, dude? >> Washington's bringing back their old. logo. That's what this guy just said. Is. that right? It's throwback night? >> Yeah, yeah, they're letting them. How. how likely is this Tone telling the. truth cuz I made a shot said Steelers. Super Bowl number six. I do remember.
that. As it stands, you're looking at about 78% chance that. they go in, dude. Okay, not not just. going in, but telling the truth. Like if. I was to shoot this and say, "Hey, this. is for Seattle minus 2 and 1/2 or. whatever." And it goes in. How likely is. that to be a factual piece of. information from the basketball gods, football gods or just St. Peter, Jesus. Christ and and big man as a whole? >> Unfortunately, it's only about 50% of. the time. It's basically whatever these. guys are feeling it out. Now, I will say.
if I get. 17, 18 Real American beers in these. guys, I can kind of push them whichever. way I want. So, I like you guys. You. know what I mean? You make this thing, let's just say the the world is your. oyster. >> Okay, I like that. So, I like the. Seahawks minus 2 and 1/2. Ooh. I'll get it. All right, I'll take the Commanders. Okay, dude. Plus 3. I think that's that's what that is for. me, this game. Yeah. Either team could be really good. I.
think Seattle's more consistently good. >> Mhm. Give me the Seahawks. I'll take the. Seattle Seahawks minus 2 and 1/2, actually. That's what I got as well. And. it looks like they are 10 and one on the. road under McDonald and nine in a row. Okay, yeah. So, give me them. I'll take. >> What is that? That's got to be a record. No, I mean like how I would assume other. coaches come to him like, "Hey, why are. you so good on the road? What are you. doing?" Yeah, locking out. Just locking. out the outside noise. >> I guess. >> They treat every game like a bowl week, brother. Every week is a celebration. >> How's that, Hawkster? How do they win on the road and other. teams are poop on the [snorts] road?
Their coach is a [ __ ] psycho for one. I wouldn't want to see that guy in the. square circle. He's like a mean son of a. [ __ ] BUT LIKE THE KIND of guy who. everybody still respects him. They still. love him. But you don't want to cross. that guy, you know? That might be a guy. I'd like to get drunk with and get into. a bar fight with, you know? That maybe. he'd have my back. She's what He's a. good coach. I MEAN, I WHAT ELSE YOU WANT. ME TO SAY? IT'S LIKE It's like. chemistry. Happy Halloween, Hawkster. Happy. Halloween Happy Halloween to all you. guys as well, dude.
All right, let's get the hell out of. here. AJ, thanks for traveling out. Good. to see you, babe. Good to see you. All. right, be a friend, tell a friend, something nice might change your life. We're in this thing together. Uh big one tomorrow morning in Utah. Can't wait to get out there. Can't wait. to go trick-or-treat with the baby girl. tonight. [ __ ] yeah, dude. >> to be so cool. Get the deal done. Nobody's really talking about it. A lot. of people head over there for Sunday. Ticket. cuz it's currently on YouTube TV.
Quad box made for sports fans. Red Zone. channel over there. A lot of football. fans over there. I assume YouTube TV. knows that. So, going into a weekend. with a lot of ball, it's like, let's. figure that out. We need to figure that out. I don't know. who's. you know, holding it all up. I don't know which. side's which. I see a messages from. people saying, "Hey, need you to go to. this website, do something." I don't. know if that helps with negotiations. Time. Hulkster, you don't know Heavenly. Hulkster, you don't know if I guess you. do now. I do. We got real good fiber up.
in heaven. I was like, this is weird, dude. Why are we, you know, beholden to. have to have like YouTube TV up here? Don't you got like Jesus TV or something. where we don't have commercials, don't. have any of that stuff? To me, sounds. like we got two greedy corporate fat. cats, and it's time for them to put. their swords down because if we don't. have football Saturday, there's going to be bedlam, brother. We need it. Be a friend, tell a friend. something nice, it might change your. life. We're in this thing together for sports.
