Hey, hey, hey. Heat. Heat. [Music]. N. Heat. Heat. N. [Music].
[Applause]. [Music]. [Music]. The following program is a collection of.
students talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic, informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss, or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. Hey, let's go.
This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. the line with a gorgeous assist. The. alltime leading tackler for the Green. Bay Packers, you stop. Damn it. Be a friend. Tell a. friend something nice could change their. life. [Applause]. [Music]. sport. Hello, beautiful people and welcome to. beautiful Kerry, North Carolina for PST.
2025. This program starts right now. is happening here in beautiful Kerry, North Carolina. And although it is a. glorious sports complex, this. Wake Park, and although the turnout is. spectacular here for a soccer tournament. where there will be $1 million on the. line for the winning team, it is hot as. [ __ ] down here. We're talking about.
humidity at about 110%. We're talking. about high 80s, low 90s. We're talking. about the beginning of summer in a. beautiful way here with $1 million on. the line. My team, Concave SC, debuted a. whole new squad this morning. 10:00 a.m. we took on Bournemouth, led by Josie. Alador, who will be joining us on this. particular program today. And we won 3. to one. Don't look now. Conf is hunting. the bag. Conc is back. We got new.
stars. We got new names, same attitude, same grit. And the arena boys are. crushing. That's Porch new edition. lays. it off to regret. Zack gets his first. goal of Conquer. [Music]. CF. Yeah, I actually told him uh the. starting seven for the first goal win. $500 each. It wasn't until the second. half. Meet former all TST team last. year. Gets on the board early. Hits a. gritty celebrates his life. They were in.
Azerbaijan last week representing the. United States of America. And then in. target score time, Monti Leesma hits a. gamewinner 25 seconds into target score. time. Don't want to act like I've been a. good coach or a good motivator, but I. talked to Monty right there going into. TST uh target score time and I said, "Buddy, Lewan Croc, he scored against us. last year when he was on Cincinnati. It. was electrifying. We said we need him on. our team." We also got a guy named Drew. Ruggles. Ruggles has dreads that have.
been growing for 13 years. two years ago. when he was on New Town had the assist. for the million-dollar goal. Last year. he played on Nani's team. This year he's. playing for Kong Ka and then Porch old. buddy on the back right corner of this. particular graphic behind Rugles. He. scored the million-dollar goal last year. to win this entire thing. So our team is. stacked. Our team is loaded and we're. looking to win this. A lot of great. competition though. A lot of great. people. Sheamus is even here. representing a German team. He will be. stopping by this particular program.
We'll have Patty Maroon via FaceTime to. talk about the NHL Stanley Cup finals. which are starting this evening. We'll. talk about all the sports happening. around the world while standing in about. 150° heat and uh we're lucky to do it. It's not just me here. One half of the. hammer die Cowboys AP Tone is here. Tone, welcome to TST, pal. It's awesome. It feels like uh when we were young and. we were at soccer tournaments when there. was anywhere from ages four all the way. up to 16 playing for like state. championships and stuff like that. It's.
awesome out here. The team is awesome. The armist artist formerly known as red. boots now wearing black boots also had a. hell of a game. The boys are loaded from. like like the the guys that like. everybody knows like Grella and Zat and. all those guys like they they actually. they were like hey you guys you arena. boilers you guys do what you need to do. up front. We're just going to hold it. down back here. Well, this team is going. for it. Yeah, we are. We're trying to. put a little pressure on. And Tony Miola. did some good coaching. Always. And Tab. Ramos, obviously a guy who is a Mount. Rushmore United States player. Uh I I've.
done a lot of research and learned about. him over the last like 48 hours after I. found out he was going to be coaching on. our team. He's a dog. His boy Alex. Oh. yeah. Influencer in the soccer world. And then obviously Coach Gumpy was doing. his thing today. Of course. Chirped the. ref one time. Think the refs actually. had a good first game. Yeah, I felt like. it. Now, the Bournemouth team started to. get a little chippy because they started. getting a little tired. Sure. Now, I did. warn them that our team will fight you. Oh, yeah. Our team is not scared to. fight you. That is kind of our thing, actually. So, Bournemouth backed off. It.
was a great gentleman's game. Handshake. to them. We move on undefeated. Let's go. to the toxic table at Boston Connor and. at Kai Schmidt. Con man, I see the. chain. Do you have the vibes of a soccer. fan this week? Yeah. Yeah. I'm. definitely one of the concave of. crazies. You know, it feels good to uh. be able to sit up here, watch the game. I'm glad you guys were on this uh field. A lot of new names. You know, you. mentioned the back porch. He's a great. player. Uh Lime Green Boots, also known. as also known as Water Bug. He's a hell. of a player. He's all over the place.
And the boys try, you know, Breshay. I. think that's the biggest thing. Brea's. giving it his all out there. You. mentioned Led Zma, uh which I definitely. just screwed his name up. Leesma Zeppelin. Zeppelin is his. nickname. Zeppelin, he had a play down. here. Two seconds later, guys on the. other side of the field breaking up a. play. So, it is a team that is both. skilled, both gives high energy, and. they are young guys. There are old guys, Brech Shay, and there are everybody in. between. Uh would like to see a little.
more from Grella, guy who's asking for. 20k to play. He's going out there and. basically just cutting. We're past that. Remember, we're past that. I don't know. He's cutting grass with his cleats. That's all I saw. It's a long. tournament. There's a lot of We have a. lot of subs. We're playing a deep. rotation this year. We learned from. coach Carla last year. We were like. Tibs. Okay. Tibs not a lot of subbing. We were. very uh only playing a few guys. Today. everybody was in. Everybody was in. rotating cuz it's a lot of soccer left.
which I know you're excited for. Ty. Yeah, absolutely. I mean it's great. seeing the boys again. You know I I know. I'm not on the roster but last year. You. know I feel like we really ingratiated. with the entire team. Like Tony. mentioned almost had a heart attack up. here when I saw Mario Alvarez come out. my favorite player, red boots. He's not. wearing red boots this year. He's. wearing black boots, but boy did he look. good. And you're right. I mean, this is. a this is a who's who of, you know, soccer sensations when it comes to TST. What a luxury to be able every seven you. got out there. Hey, they might be the. best seven on the pitch. So, you know, I.
mean, it's, you know, everyone's trying. to win. There's black boots right there. And what a touch by black boots. And. what a touch by me. Gold. Exactly. So. when when that's just a little taste. when you can do that, you know, anytime. you're out on the pitch, Kong is going. deep in this thing. They are. There's. just no if ends or buts about it. Yeah. I love everything that you're saying and. uh you know, I talked about the boys. playing mini football over in Azeraijan. Uh last week it did not go well. Oh, really? Yeah. I guess the boys are. coming off a quite an ass beating. Yeah. Yeah. Quite an ass beating in Azerai. Uh.
I think there was a couple medical. incidents that happened over there as. well. We're talking about fresh out of a. bad experience, ready to have a great. one. I appreciate the hell out of these. Arena League boys and everybody else. back for Kong Ka. Let's go to a man. who's a college football national. champion, a Super Bowl champion, a Ryder. Cup winner, and an avid soccer. enthusiast. Ladies and gentlemen, AJ. Hawk is here. Hawker, welcome back to. Kerry, North Carolina. A little bit of a a crowd has has built. here. It's pretty wild, actually. They're up on the uh hill, too. Foxy, if. you turn that thing left, it's going to.
be a thousand degrees out there. It has. got to be a thousand degrees up on this. hill. And uh Yeah. Look, look. Yeah. We. appreciate you guys. Yeah. Look at this. crew. Oh yeah. A lot of these people are. being forced to listen to us, too. They. got speakers going everywhere throughout. the entire park. We appreciate you. bearing with us for the next couple. hours as we enjoy the hell out of. Carrie, North Carolina. Great to be. back, though. Age, this place is. unbelievable. It's so nice. The people. are cool. And I got get back to. gameplay. You're the goal. Our second. half goalie today. You can't punt it and. you can't what? Drop kick it. He did. like a side winder kick. He almost.
scored a goal. Yeah. New rule. Yeah, he. punted it and tried to score is. immediately he was getting around the. rules somehow. Immediately upon getting. onto the field, Phil E, okay, who is an. absolute dog, I don't want to give. anything away, but after the tournament, we'll talk about what Phil E is battling. through right now. Just know that he's. not 100%. But it doesn't matter cuz Phil. E is going to be able to figure it out. But yeah, I like you put a stamp on it. As soon as he got the ball, I'm punting. this thing to full length of the field. New rule this year. Can't do that. No, he can't do that. He had to make. unbelievably unbelievably accurate. A. couple great throws down the sideline, too. Yeah, Phil E is a powerhouse. Phil.
E is a former goalie of the year in the. MASL too. Stoner in the first half. Big. stop also had a big time pass. So the. difference here for those that are uh. following along. Arena league boys play. indoor. Okay. Five on five with a. goalie. Goalie has to be able to play. with their feet because they are an. added player. So like goal smaller. So. goalie has to be able to stop shots but. goalie has to be able to play with their. feet because how small the field is, how. many limited amount of people there are. Now, that's why Meat is wearing a penny.
right there because Meat, one of our. players, would go back and play goalie. in target score time because that adds. an offensive player to the field. If. they can stop balls, as Meat did last. year, good. Stoner is an outdoor goalie. Used to the big field, not used to. having to play with his feet. I think. this last year he's worked on his feet, uh, understanding what situation is. Stoner stand on his head and he's making. big outlet passes. Feels like we got. better all around the pitch as Drip FC. fouls the [ __ ] out of somebody to start. this entire thing. Nine-year NFL vet. Darius Jay Butler is here.
VB, this your first time in a soccer. tournament? Yes, sir. First time ever. and it's been electric and uh regardless. of the sport, one thing, the first thing. you look at is when the guys get off the. bus and looking at your squad off the. bus, see a lot of big guys physicality. Uh big fellas and they play well, man. Uh AJ was over here suggesting maybe. some new rules. Maybe a two-point uh. play from from like the 50 yard line. Give me a two-point goal. Yeah, I I. think it's not a bad idea. Yeah, that. would be electric. But it's been. electric so far, man. Glad we started. off with a win. Looking forward to a. deep run this year. Yeah, there's a.
chance you can hit a deep ball, too, because the goalies are out playing with. their feet. I mean, their goalie was. almost trapped all the way in the other. half, and if we were able to take. advantage of that and score, hello. We're talking about Marshy, you know, with the empty net sending that thing. from coast to coast, which is what we. really need in the entirety. It's a. beautiful uh tournament. It's a. beautiful city and it's a miss shot. Can't do that against our team. I'm. tell you get that out of the way. The. first half though these games I think. everybody's kind of feeling it out. Yep. Yeah. Like our team was even feeling it. out. Still much more crisp though. Your.
team Our team definitely. Yeah. We had. preseason. We had preseason. So we had. uh three scrimmages on Monday as opposed. to our first game in the tournament. being our hey let's play for the first. time together. We did that on Monday. And I heard the first game that we. played on Monday. Hooray. Okay. heard. absolutely horses had no idea what to. do. Second game we got it together. Third game now we're playing ball. So in. the first half we had to figure it out. against another team. We were sitting I. think we dominated ball uh control like. yeah I think it was like 18 minutes to 2. minutes we had the ball. We just weren't.
able to crack. We weren't able to get in. and then in the second half we knew once. we had it moving boys were going to. hunt. Any uh pucks on net talk in in. that situation. So a lot of me yelling. I don't know if you hear me going yeah I. that is me telling him rip one. Let's. rip one. Yeah, we were trying to think. about having one here. You know, that. Yeah, exactly. That's what we were. yelling from up here. What did it sound. like when you said it? Just like, "Hey, me, maybe think about having one here. Maybe want to have one here." You know, anytime he's got the the ball. Did he. hear you or No, you think uh I a couple. times I think he did. Yeah, I think he. knows anytime he's got possession. He's.
kind of thinking about he might want to. have one. Meat is a lot of the lads. Yeah, having one is shoot boots. If we. owe boots, boots, boots, boots. That's. like, hey, get the ball. Look center. There might be someone with their boots. out back door. Conor's also really big. on uh marking a guy now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good Mark. Good mark. Mark one. Mark one. I heard Phil say that earlier. and I thought that's pretty cool. I like. that. Yeah. Mark is just playing getting. somebody. Yeah. Yeah. Good mark. Good. mark. Is it Is it manto man? Is it like.
manto man sacked dog or some type of We. run some zone inside out zone. Okay. Uh. but also manto man whenever they get. when they're running you have to pick. somebody up. You have to mark somebody. up. Oh you got mark. Yeah. That's a big. deal. So, it's a zone transition into. man like it, you know, it's a it's a. cover, man. Zone. match. We know that. Uh, let's talk. about some of the other sports that are. happening around us tonight. The NHL. Stanley Cup finals begin. And. congratulations to the Florida Panthers. making it back and representing the. Eastern Conference. Yes, we beat the.
[ __ ] out of. Yes. Oh, no. Hey, real quick. Real quick. Another. great run by the Carolina Hurricane. Hey, all the way. Just won't be able to get. over Just won't be able to get over the. hump potentially. That is a fear, but. you have to be able to lose in those big. moments to be able to win in those big. moments. Carolina Hurricanes are on the. up and up like they were last year and. the year before that year before that. But they will they will continue to go.
and we respect the hell out of the. Caniacs, which there are certainly many. of them here representing today right. down the road in Raleigh. We are. currently in Kerry. I believe this is a. triangle area of the two really smart. schools. Oh, okay. Durham's down the. road, which is Duke. UNCC is very, very. close. Obviously, NC State basically. where we're at. Where's Wake Forest? Yeah. Chapel Hill. Uh oh, this is Wake. Med. Is is Wake right around there too? I assume Wake Forest is around here. Yeah, I think Wake Forest is the one who. opened up that little town we were in uh. last night. Very wonderful place.
There's a couple restaurants there you. should probably steer clear from. I. wasn't sure if we were wanting to get. into this or I didn't know if the first. night we're in town we should talk about. it. But we can wait. I just want to make. sure. I did tell I did tell the best. person in that entire restaurant that. there was one hero that came into that. restaurant and saved our life. Yeah. We. We just asked if you could take our. group. They decided to take our group. They didn't tell the servers or the. chefs. No. Servers and the chefs were. not happy that they took our group as.
lady they took our group. Very nice. steakhouse. Worst experience I've ever. had. No questions asked. What happened? H bar none. Like food wasn't great or. food didn't come. What are we talking. about? Whole operation. It was just It's. kind of why you went there. Yeah. Good. We just wanted food and water. This. particular restaurant is known across. the nation for being very good. Very. good. It fell it fell on the shoulders. of one one man. Yes, it did. One guy. committed the chef and everyone had to. bring a big party in when they were. probably about to close and they thought. they were done. Clocking out. Everybody.
was clocking out of the restaurant. They. hate that guy so much. And somebody. said, "No problem. You could definitely. serve you." Nobody told them. They were. still working though. So, you know, water 60 70 minutes later, just a water. That's all we wanted. Apps, don't even. think about it. We're out. We're out. We're out. We don't have that. Don't. have that. It was a very It's like a. prominent place you went. Like, I've. heard of the place you Yes. Very much. so. Oh, thanks. So, you served us the. shrimp cocktail. Yeah. Grab the shrimp. cocktail. Thank you, by the way. Starving. It was a thing. But Raleigh. was beautiful. It was beautiful. Little.
town. It was What is Little Town? It's a. nice little town. If you need to ask, you'll never know. Anyways, Florida. Panthers beat the hell out of the. Carolina Hurricanes. They go to the They. go to the Stanley Cup finals to take on. the Edmonton Oilers here. Okay, big. Stanley Cup final tonight. Now, obviously, they are looking to go backto. back this Florida Panthers team. There's. only been seven or eight teams, I. believe, who have gone back to back. You're talking about a dynastic run. here. a run that will be talked about.
forever. Whenever you talk about the. Stanley Cup, when you go back to back on. Lordo, obviously because they put. everybody's name on there, you take up. some real real estate on the Stanley. Cup. So whenever Howard or Harold. Hardnose. Harold Howie when Howie is walking that. Stanley Cup around the globe to all the. different events and places, you're. going to see your team taking up a. massive piece of that Stanley Cup. Only. the great teams, the teams that are. considered the greatest of all time, have been able to go back to back. Three.
straight finals, obviously. Congratulations to the Florida Panthers. for that. Will they be able to go back. to back? We shall see. Kachchuck's a. dog. Yes, Bob's a beast in the net. Everything they stand for, we love. Hockey loves. Marie will fight you still. at this age. That entire team will, but. they're taking on a guy who has Jesus. Christ in his nickname. Y you're taking. on MC Jesus, this Conor McDavid guy. He's faster than everybody else on the. ice somehow. And it looks like he's. playing against children whenever he has. the puck on his stick. It makes no.
sense. He's so talented that the NHL. actually asked him to put together the. talent portion and the skill portion of. the All-Star game. Hey, what do you do? What do you think would be a good. talent? What do you think would be fun. to work on? That's what we'll do at the. All-Star game. He's special. Wow. He is. so incredible. And he has carried this. Edmonton Oilers team on his back for the. last couple years. Last year, they. weren't able to get it done. this year. Can they? That is the story line and I. think we got a good one going into the. final. It It gives me huge um and. obviously we were following the team so.
it's easier to speak on 0809. Uh for. years and years the Red Wings were. basically like the Florida Panthers. where they were absolutely dominant. We. had a young stud in Sydney Crosby and. Gino Malin who come in first time they. play him in this in in the cup. Sid. doesn't touch the the trophy after the. after the fin conference finals. They. lose the first cup to Detroit. They make. it all the way back the next year to. face them again. Touches the the. conference final cup that time and then. Sid and Gino and the boys. Flower made a.
huge s uh save. They get the cup in. their second time. But like the McDavid. Sid comparison as far as like going up. against the big bad wolf as the Panthers. and being the best most skilled player. in the league. It it kind of feels like. that 0809 situation. Yeah, I'm not. worried about it at all. Uh I miss you. were worried about the Carolina. Hurricanes though. I saw you sweating. No, didn't was not sweating at all. The. game that I was able to make make it to, we beat there, I think 6-2. Uh, but. that's that's where they, you know, that's where they fall short. But this. is our third time uh in the final. And.
the boys are ready. The boys are ready. to run it back. Uh, obviously McDavid is. uh I won't call him Mc Jesus. Mc Jesus. was not uh Canadians. Can't wait to rip. Canada's heart out one more time. Uh I. can't wait to get back around Lord. Stanley, too. I missed it when he came. when he came into the studio, but uh. we'll touch that thing again. Pause. Uh, you mentioned Chucky. It starts with our. captain, Barky. Barky just won another. What's What's the award he just won? Silki. bas defensive forward. Yep. He's an. absolute dog. Obviously added Marshy. We.
added Jonesy. So, we added depth uh to. the core guys that are there. They're. running back, man. The good news is. it'll be a great game tonight like that. This will be phenomenal to watch. This. will be incredible entertainment and uh. they'll be physical as [ __ ] And. Edmonton knows that that's going to. happen as well. Yeah. Bingo. You just. wonder if they can, you know, kind of. block out the uh the rats of Florida. Gumpy mentioned it throughout the entire. series of Edmonton and Dallas. It's. coming down to Stu Skin, baby. If the. Edmonton goalie Stu Skinner, who was.
benched, came in in relief, now has. turned it back on. If he can continue to. play well, then all of a sudden, we. might be talking about the Edmonton. Oilers kind of going on a run here. fulfilling Conor McDavid's uh destiny. for glory. But you know, Brad Marshian, a lot of pesky guys, they add. He was. born to be a Florida Panther says. Kachchuck. That has to hurt up there in. Boston. You guys just trade him out. He's going to go win another Stanley. Cup. Let's go back to the truck. Mickey. Skates, you have some thoughts on. tonight. Yeah, Pat, you guys. Whoa, what. a setup.
How many buttons you have? Slide them. Uh, yeah, you guys covered it pretty. well, but I mean, obviously the big. story being Mc Jesus and Dryidle, the. dynamic duo in Edmonton. uh something. that's uh being discussed on the. internet and uh we've seen the perennial. run here by Tampa Bay. They go three. years in a row. Now Florida's gone three. years in a row. Uh Tampa Bay used a lot. of tactics of putting guys on the. long-term IR and stashing them until the. playoffs. That is going to be addressed. allegedly by the uh CBA negotiations.
potentially and some of the owners. getting together in the offseason talk. about this. something they're talking. about now and it's mostly led by upset. Toronto fans like uh Paul Besonette is. teams that have no state income tax. Do. they have an advantage in the league? Everyone's crying foul. Yes, they do. have been able to do this. Teams that. are in Canada, do you have a tax massive. disadvantage? Yes. Yes. You you want to. win a cup, change the tax. There you go. That's uh Biz saying, "Listen, Florida.
is able to just knock off 8% of the. state income tax. 6%. What's that all. about?" Pitching about it now. Is that a. new rule? They You just changed the. income tax rules. Is that like Yeah, it's been around a long time. How about. Tennessee? Nashville. Nashville. Dumb to. Texas, too, right? Then Texas. Remember. Washington, Nevada? You had Nevada. What? Uh Arizona, even though they just. got rid of their team. Don't you think. Indiana needs to do that? I agree. Uh I. just got a text from uh Johnny Damon. Johnny D. He's sponsoring Drip FC. Let's go. Hey,
man. I'm just saying hi. I'm out here. sponsoring my team, Drip FC. We're on. the field behind you. Just wanted to say. what's up. Where is he? Huge fan of the program. Does he have the large beard still? No, he got rid of that. Looks good, too. I. ran into him for a couple years ago. Love you, Johnny. The bananas a few uh. uh. Where is he? Gaming legend. Imagine Jesus coach for Drip FC is. wearing a full suit.
So pick him up straight across. I don't. I love that. Damon. I'm just waving. He's just waving. He's a Red Sox. I. don't know. There's Look for a guy. holding a baseball bat. Yeah. Speaking. of, hold on now. Let's talk about. drinking a beer. That's a good. transition. Shout out to US baseball. dropping off some swag. They are. located, I believe, in Kerry, North. Carolina. Is that accurate? Yeah, I. believe so. Okay. our US baseball team. We lost to uh Japan right in the um. super duper.
[Applause]. Oh yeah. Sean best. Hey. Yeah. He's got the handheld neck. Frost everybody. Here you go. Thank. you. We got to be. I'm allergic. Stay away. Stay away. Save. the bees. Thank you sir. Oh, thanks be. You want one? You want. one? Thanks, Bean. He wants to booze a. little bit. Cheers. Sheamus. Sheamus has. SPF 250 on. That's a smart decision.
Hey, use that. You want to give a toast? I was saying it to Jeremy, guys. Prost. What's that? Cheers. You're not going to give a toast at all. or anything? Sal toast. You should give a toast. You. should get a toast. I should. Yeah. Yeah. It's good apple juice. Watch out. for that camera, V. Well, once again, I'm on the Pat McAfee. show. That's right. An honor that it is. With the greatest crew. Greatest. greatest crew you can ever have. To a. great tournament to BBB, winning it all.
Slot your lands. Let's go. Yeah. Conc. What is What type of beer is this? Is. this one of those like super flavorful. beers where the brewer says, "I put my. heart, my soul, and my entire backyard. into this." Not bad at all. It's going. to have a lot of flavor. Delightful. It's a proper German beer, fell. It's a. proper German beer. Proper German. It's. got a little And the Germans know how to. drink beer. We Irish how to drink. Guinness, but the Germans definitely. know how to drink beer. Yeah, beer. fines, right? That's what they do. That's it. This is today. So, you have a.
chair, an extra chair there. Shameless. right here. Sit. Where you going to sit? Slide down one. And you got a headset. right there. Oh, perfect. This is kind. of like a lab with a Coors light. Kind. of a perfect. It's a good way of. phrasing it. Yeah. Oh, man. That went. down real smooth. I was supposed to made. him play in that second game the night. Why would I do that? Drip FC. Drip FC. Oh, Damon's boys came to play. We knew. it. Saw him off the bus. Okay. Welcome. to the show, Sheamus. It is an honor to.
have you. We appreciate you. You're. currently acting as the team. representative of what team? Russia. Dortmund. Who? Brushia Dortmund. Russia. and Russia and Brussia Dortmund. BBB. What's he saying? BBB. O B VB O. is one of your favorite teams? Well, because I'm a Liverpool fan my whole. life. Um during during the pandemic when. everything was shut down, there's some. Liverpool fans here. Uh the Bundesliga.
was the only league that was on at the. time. So with the club connection with. Liverpool and Dortmund and the both. teams embracing you'll never walk alone, it was an easy pick for me. So I've had. a great relationship with Dortmund over. the last five, six years. So I'm proud. to represent them here today. Okay. So, uh, Dortmund actually came and gave us a. bunch of food last year as well. I love. the way their team operates. Great fell. What a It's like a big family business. You know the D people don't realize, right? That's what they call the nasty. goals. That was filthy. Is that an.
answer? Yeah. Gold. They they crossed. one in head. There it is. [ __ ] Goal. Cross in cross in header off the post. and in. Do we have that? I wonder if. we'll be able to pull it up. It was in. the background while we were talking. there. That's wonderful news. Here's the. replay. Here it is. Beautiful. Bottom corner. No chance for the. goalkeeper. Did you play uh did you guys. have you played yet, Dortmund? No. I uh.
practiced with the team yesterday. Good. crack. I was in goal. Had a laugh. Um. but obviously I'm not allowed playing. the tournament from WB's perspective. So. they don't want me getting hurt. So I'm. on the sideline ging them up, you know, giving them a bit of motivation. Have. you guys played yet? We played the game. this morning. Yeah. How'd it go? How'd. it go? Uh, it didn't go too good. Oh, no. Who'd you play? Who'd you play? What was. the name of that team again? They were. good. So, uh, Freedom United. Freedom. United. Yeah. What's the final score? 3-2. Oh, okay. Not bad. That's a good. battle. First half you weren't great, but we settled down in the second. It.
was 1 nil halftime to them and we came. back. But another game here at 645. So, you know, I feel like the the wheels are. starting to turn now. They'll be all. right. I feel they're going to do okay. You have a lot of confidence in your. team. I do. They're a great bunch of. lads, honestly. Great bunch of lads. They're representing uh the Crest 1909. that that team was uh established. So. there there's a lot of responsibility on. their shoulders, but I think they're. going to roll it out. Okay. Well, I. don't think that's the case. What's your. team again? Conquer what? Conquer Kefa.
That's who we are. Better get familiar. Do you have any other apart from you. guys? Is there anyone else supporting. that team or what are you talking about? Conca. Yeah, we got the concave fora. crazies. Look, got merch. We got We got. concave for merch out here. We got. people saying Look, we got a concave. scarf up there. What's that? Huh? Boom. That don't worry about that. They're all. plants. All of them are plants. You paid. them all, Patty. I know you have. To be. clear, Zach, the kid who had the first.
goal for us, his mom made this tank top. Sweet. Uh Tone Digs got these from TST. They're the ice things. Yep. And uh I. don't have a single scarf in my. possession. So all contr we're moving merch over. here at cave. You better hope for. Dortmund's sake that we don't try to get. into Bundesliga cuz if I want to bring a. team over to Bundesliga, we're going to. be spread Deutsching all over the place. Gut and thin tha conca. Uh let's talk. German's great by the way. I have to say. hi. Yeah. Um.
what is Thank you. Uh, dashen. Dashan. Yeah, donashen. And then dur what? Exactly. Yeah. You don't even know. Yeah, exactly. I'm speaking languages. you don't understand. Listen, I can. barely speak English, so let's just. leave it at that. All right. I agree. with that. The accent is something. There's going to be a lot of people that. are putting on the caption so they can. understand what you're saying and. rightly so. I'm not embarrassed by that. How long you I agree. It sounds awesome. How long have you been with the WWE? 18 years now. Uh, a year and a half. developmental. I'm coming up to my 16th.
year on June 30th this year. Congratulations. Hell yeah. Let's talk. about it. Uh, obviously a lot of turn. turnover, a lot of change in those 18. years in WWE. Obviously, the internet. was ablaze this week whenever we all. found out that our truth contract uh was. expiring soon and that he was not going. to be with us falling forward from his. own announcement. Also, Caro. Caro came. out and I didn't think I saw that till a. couple days later. I love Caro. He's a. bad apple. Caro is a bad apple. But Art.
Truth and Caro have been with the WWE. for so damn long, been pillars of the. WWE, have been so entertaining, have. been beloved by the WWE universe for so. long. Obviously, there was a loud. reaction to that in a negative way. 18. years you've been there, there's been a. lot of turnover. And I think that's. something that we come from the NFL. world, okay? We'll have a friend that. we're on Colts with and we're eating. lunch with him. This guy's a. professional football player. He's made. millions of dollars. He's on the. Indianapolis Colts. I'm having lunch. with him. He goes to a meeting. I go to. a meeting. I never see the guy again. He.
got cut. He got And in our world, like. people move on. You don't have a job. forever. It's like you do get cut. You. have to learn and just kind of do. In. the WWE, it's kind of similar, but I. think people fall in love with the. superstar so much it's harder to move on. from people. What are your thoughts in. perspective on the business as a whole? And do you know when it's time? Like did. do you think guys know when it's time? Do you think it's always like what are. your thoughts on it all? Sometimes. people don't know. Look, you know, from. a perspective of what we do,
entertainment, like it's about. entertaining the fans and people like. I'm sure in NFL, you know, fans to see. that the the player like interviews and. everything and they see what he does in. the field. But for our perspective, what. we do, the fans get to know who that. person is and they get to fall in love. with the character and the personality. like for truth example like he's one of. the most beloved because he's one of the. most entertaining. Um I had my first. dark match against him when I came up in. 07 I think 08 I joined in 0708. I came. up with the road for dark and Orchard. had just come back after he was with the.
company. He went to TNA, he came back. again. So, we had a dark match together. uh on the road and like from then we. bonded, you know, like it's that that. fellow walking in the dressing room and. it's just laugh. He's got a contagious. laugh that would just like light up the. the room, but you don't there's no way. of knowing, man. You just got to go out. there and do what you can and sometimes. you can't tell when that time is. A lot. of guys come back though like that's. that's the wrestling business like so. even more so now with how many. opportunities there are elsewhere and it. feels like it's only growing. I mean let.
alone like Triple A getting bought up by. WWE and TKO that partnership what. they're going to do the amount of money. probably going to be invested into. there. TNA seemingly all the way back. obviously AEW still rolling. They broke. a record of some sort. There's so many. opportunities but there's always a road. back to WWE if you it's not the end. It's not the end. So many people, so. many guys and girls have left and come. back. It's not the end. Like it's a bit. of sometimes it's a bit of a break. And. there's no way Trude's not going to come. back at some stage. I'm sure you'll see. him again. Like a Hall of Famer. He's. definitely a pillar. Yeah. And the same.
with Carito. Caro was gone for a while. He came back, you know, and and it's not. the end. If you truly want to find your. way back, you'll find your way back. It's not not the end for for anybody. So. many talented people at the WW. Yeah, it's crazy. And so many young talent. coming up as well. I just did a workout. with uh Obami from NXT, the NXT world. heavyweight champion. It was down in uh. the performance center. So, it just. dropped today on Celtic Warrior. workouts. You want to check it out. But. million subscribers, shame. Congrats. Big time. But uh he was uh behind the.
neck shoulder pressing, standing. shoulder pressing, nearly 300 lb. And he. was using his traps as you know when you. do squats, you put that kind of pad on. the bar. He was using his traps as that. pad just unbelievable, man. You put the. pad on the bar when you squat? I don't, but I'm just saying some people would, but I'm just saying like that. Some. people don't like that. AJ has a. question for you. Sheamus. Sheamus, now. you say what, almost 18 and a half years. or whatever with the WWE. Coming up on. 18 years. You ever go back and watch. some of your your old stuff from when. you first got in and say like, "Wow, I've really come a long way." I try not.
to watch my old stuff. I'm sure you were. awesome back then, though. I'm sure we. wouldn't. I'm sure you were awesome back. then. But like, how much what is it like. now going into the ring compared to what. it was like when you were younger? I. feel when I first started in we was just. so nervous and just so self-conscious of. myself and just like I wasn't really in. the moment. I wasn't really enjoying it. I just wanted to make sure I got through. it without messing up, without making. any mistakes. And now at the point where. I just love going out there. I just feel. a crowd if uh you know he's there in. commentary banging it out. You can hear. him all over the bleeding place. Oh, so. you guys can't hear me? I always hear.
you. Can you hear him? I can hear you. over I can hear you over 20,000 people. in that crowd. Patty got Okay. I didn't. know that. I didn't remember that. Yeah, I'm going lock that in. Come on, Shane. Oh, Patty, it's fight night, fella. All right, you'll hear me. You'll hear. me. I'll make sure. But um but you know, I just enjoy, you know, feel the crowd. in the moment. I'm more in the moment. than I ever been. And that's what it's. about. And letting the crowd in. And I. feel that's why I'm having the best. matches after in my entire career. And. that's why I love going out there. I. love putting on banger after banger.
after banger. after banger after after banger after. banger after after banger after after. Did you drive a bus? Did you drive a bus. today? No. I thought it was the No, I. took an Uber like everybody else. Banger. Yeah, it was not the Banger bus. It's a nice Uber. No. Remember remember. uh remember the Banger Brothers that the. thing back in the day? Me and Drew. Banger Brother. Yeah, you got the Banger Brothers. That.
got shut down real fast, by the way. Yeah. Yeah. That's not the one I. remember. What are you talking about? What? It's a different uh You were a uh. Yeah, you the other team, aren't you? No, no, no. I'm thinking about a. different thing. Uh but uh anyway, speaking about. being speaking about being Speaking. about being in the moment, we've been. you've been around the world. Obviously. been a superstar for a long long time. How's Carrie been treating you so far? Do you have any uh I guess suggestions. for us for dinner tonight? You've been.
We ended up in Bahama Breeze last night. Okay. We saw on the way down. Yeah. Yeah. Instead of boats going by the. hotel, it was just cars and trucks and. stuff. But uh my wife was really. impressed with it. Huh. We can tell you. where not to go. There's a lot of. restaurants out here. There is. Um I. mean we only got in yesterday but late. yesterday staying at the same place. U. but I you know like Carolina is great. man. I just I love this place. It feels. very close to being in Ireland. So many. trees, so many greenery. Everyone's. super friendly except for this heat. This heat kill. Ty has a question for.
you. Sheamus. Yeah, Sheamus, I am. curious. Uh you're obviously absolutely. jacked. Pat mentioned, you know, the the. Celtic Warrior workouts are up over a. million subs right now. How does your. body feel? And how much different is it. when you get in the ring now than maybe. it was 16 years ago when you were a, you. know, spring chicken? I don't think I. was ever a spring chicken type, but uh. but um no, I actually feel right now I. think I'm in the best shape I've ever. been in. I'm uh I'm using this, my wife. got me, Isabella got me on this app. called Ladder app I've been using and I.
have this guy called Cory Perkins. Awesome trainer. And I feel now like I'm. lifting six days a week. I'm eating. really well. a kind of carnivore animal. diet except for this obviously, but. you're allowed on special days like. this. But I feel now like I've just so. set my way to training. When I first. started, I wasn't as self-conscious or I. wasn't as strict regimented on what I. was doing. But now I feel like I'm I'm. definitely dialed in and I'm really. liking it. You said lad. Yeah, ladder. app. Dude, it's Cory Perkins. Cory. Perkins. Awesome trainer by the way. I. want to give you a sh So he's on your. app. He's on your app. Yeah, he is.
Yeah. Hold on, hold on. I need to learn. more about that. Yeah, sure. So the. ladder app. Yeah. You just take your. phone downstairs into the gym, open it. up, and Cory's leading you through a. workout. Yeah. You pick whoever with the. trainer you kind of most like uh. resonate with. You pick the trainer and. Cory was the one like you remember when. I came back for lifting. It's basically. that. Yeah. Every and every day is a new. set. Like you can do six days, minimum. of three days. It's awesome. But it's. changed my life for you saw those. pictures of me burger after burger. You. remember that story? They were calling. you fat, Sheamus. They were calling me.
fat and rightly so. You know. what? I was uh I was listen I'm telling. you there was there was creases going on. where there shouldn't have been creases. You know what I'm saying? There's this. But uh it's I'm dialed in now. And it's. if you want to go. By the way, when are. you going to get on Celtic Warrior. workouts? We should all do one together. as a show. Huh? I'm a fat sloth. No thanks. Connor, you're just so negative all the. time lately. What's wrong with you? Get. pad on. Use your pad on. I I came.
earlier on to talk to you on your. laptop. No, no, shame was some business. That's not. true. It's big league me when I came on. earlier on before the. show. It's not you saying a little bit. trying to give him a beard and he's. complaining got. finished. It's not my fault shorts, is. it? Come on. Where did you get them. anyway? What are you wearing that. Carolina? Where Carolina? You're the one. You're the Liverpool fan wearing black. and gold. But yeah, we can never walk.
alone, man. You know, the yellow wall. Bill Bich, you know, his name's on my. bicep. What do you want? Yeah, it's right there. What do you want. me to do? Uh, got to respect the team, James. You're from Boston, right? Yeah, but I. don't really have a college team. Uh, you know, Boston College. No, Notre Dame. with Irish College for you. Notre Dame's. up there. You could always Georgia. Tech's your school. We go with Yeah. Well, I mean, you live and die with. Liverpool, but uh you also live and die. with the WWE as we all do. They moved uh.
WrestleMania back to Vegas. Do you are. you pumped about that or you kind of. wish you were going back to New Orleans? We were in New Orleans for the Super. Bowl where they were saying it was going. to be great city. Don't know if it's. fully equipped to have what Vegas had. just because of the spectacle that. Wrestlemania is. Uh what do you think? Wrestlemania New Orleans is incredible. That's that's Yeah, we were down there. You guys did one. We went to one that. was Bourbon Street. That was one of like.
the top five weekends of my life. A. Wrestlemania. What 32? Was it 33 or. something? Was it? I don't even. remember. I don't remember. No, I I. don't I guess at this point, yeah, it. probably was. 2018, I think. Okay. It. was awesome. It was incredible. You'll. never see Bourbon Street like that any. other time of the year. That's insane. Insane place. You weren't able to be. there, Sheamus, because you were famous. at that time in WWE. Uh we were able to. I was able to just walk around down. there. It was incredible. Every bar was. playing entrance music and other. people's music, theme music. And then.
there was matches happening in the. middle of Bourbon Street. Somebody was. dressed up like uh let's say Hulkster. brother. Yeah. And then Macho obvious. somebody dressed up as Macho shows up. And then obviously because it's. Wrestlemania New Orleans, somebody's. dressed like a ref. They just meet in. the middle. Crowd makes a ring. Crowd. makes a ring. You're going off the ropes. in the middle of this thing. One, two, three. And then bar hits Macho Man's. music. I mean, in the middle of B. Hogan. put macho over it. Yes. That's that's.
that's crazy. That's crazy. The fake. Hogan put macho over. Yeah. Yeah. Come. on. We don't know. That's crazy. But. yeah, it was awesome down there. I fully. agree with it, but you know, love macho. It was awesome. Are you excited to get. back to Vegas, though? Felt like Vegas. was the perfect Vegas was incredible. Vegas is great. You know, look, I'll. come out. I won't come out during the. daytime obviously for a lot of reasons, but uh it obviously was a huge hit there. this year. Um them moving it's down on. my it's above my pay grade, but you know. either way it was a success. So they're. obviously going to go back again because. it was such a huge hit. Do you do you.
operate like a vampire pretty much? Yeah. I'm literally on my second can of. sunscreen right now. I could see it. radiating from your eyes. I basically. about 20 minutes 5 minutes before I came. on the show I couldn't see anything. I. was just like. with the beer, you know. Mhm. The beer. was like you were like you were in. Dublin, remember? It's like you're like. that the whole time. People People. grabbing Pat's hand just walking him. around. Where are we going? Great show. You are you going to come over this. year? I know. I'm coming. I'm coming. this year. No, you missed a great Did.
you miss a great time? One of one of the. greatest cracks of my life. Was awesome. And you had some great cracks. We've had. some great cracks. I think we should go. to double. Hey, Sheamus has been on the. record of saying that. That was a good. night though. You had a good time, too. It wasn't just us having a great time. I. was I was just warming up and the night. was over. Was meant Well, your buddy had. it. I mean, some of the best fashion. I've ever seen. One of the coolest. outfits of all time. Yeah, I actually. looked into some stuff post uh that. night because of how your buddy Speaking. of outfits, you gifted AJ something. He.
has thrown it in the trash. I was. actually I didn't know you were actually. coaching the door russia what whatever. you were talking. about. I'm sorry to over there. All you got to say is BBB. That's There. you go. BBB. But I would have worn a. full jeans, vest, dress, but it was 150°. down here. Have you Have you worn that. once? No, cuz I'm waiting for a big. special like maybe. I Oh, no. It's I know exactly where it's. hanging. I'll send a picture to you. It's in Goodwill right now. I'll send. you a picture on the rock. It's on the.
rock in Goodwill. Basically in a case. waiting for a big moment to show you. were the only one to pick the right. answer on college game day. That's. right. I forget what the pick was. Georgia Tech over Florida State. Yeah. Notre Dame and Notre Dame in the. national championship. Yeah, it was so. close. I mean, obviously got to the the. national championship, but unlucky. Still had it. Not exactly unlucky, but. unlucky. I'm going to go with unlucky, AJ. That's that's only guy that had a. team in the wagon. I don't know if. anybody was being Ohio State team, bro.
That was great game. I don't know if it. was unlucky. I think it was just They're. a machine, man. They're They're a. machine. Law of the jungle. They're a. machine. But Law of the Are we Are we. going back this year uh again? Yeah. Game stinks this year. What is it for? Kansas State. Iowa State. I think it's a. football game or NFL game we're going to. NFL game. Yeah, it's uh Is it Green Bay. against Minnesota? Is that it? Pittsburgh. All right. I'm actually I'm actually. What's wrong in Germany? Foxy, give me a.
piece of information. Ireland. I'm sorry. In Ireland. I mean, he said there's a Smackdown in Ireland. the night before the college football. game. or the Big 12 deal, I believe. Oh, cuz it's Iowa State, I think, playing. Iowa State, K State. I don't know if. we're going. It's not big enough. I. don't know if we're going the uh I don't. have no idea. I'm not A lot of decisions. have to be made there. You're not going to take the brunt of. that weight or not at all. Yep. I am not. the one. Uh we will move that along. But.
if we're definitely end up at the NFL. game over uh there for sure. I will say. though, uh I spoke to the Titans as. well. They're the I know there's a lot. of teams have claimed UK and Ireland uh. as as their territory overseas, but. Titans are the only one have claimed. Ireland, I believe. So, I think I might. be going over. No, no, no. Steelers are. both They're both in and out, man. One. foot in, one foot out. One foot in. Ireland. Steelers had representation in. Ireland for like four or five years or. whatever. Did they ambassador the Rore? He's the ambassador to Ireland. This guy.
was trying to make What are you What are. you even talking about? Talking about. the Titans picking was at the game day. in Dublin. You know, he was at the game. dayard Steelers today. I didn't see. anybody Titans. No, no, no, no. The. Titans don't claim [ __ ] They're grats. for straws. Don't believe anything the. Tennessee Titans say. What the hell? They. probably Patriots. The Patriots claim. Germany technically, but you go back. through the history, we've had German. players, you know. Yeah. What German.
players have you had? Sebastian, one of. the greatest of all time. Was he was he. American German? Was he Was he German? Straight out of German. Was he German? German. Some people aren't European. enough over here. Jeez. No, he he's. straight off the Ubot, brother. He's not. He's not some fake German. He he uh he. came over from Germany. Similar to I. don't know if he came from World War I. I don't know. Some of the players on the. Patriots these days look like they were.
in World War I. They move so. slow. And that's why came in. All right, shame those guys out. Shameless, brother. We appreciate you. Thank you. for stopping by. We appreciate you, man. Thank you, brother. I appreciate it. Anything we didn't hit that we need to. talk about? No, it's great, man. Got the. channel over. Got BBB over. Got WWE. over. It's great. Everything's good. You're over, ladies and gentlemen. Are. you going to finish your beer? More. beers. There's more. There's two more. there. Who wants the next one? Finish. What do I look like? Good. Yeah. Swing.
that other one down. I mean, are we. having a crack? Say no. No, I think. we're having a crack now. We're having a. bit of a crack right now. There you go, bro. Now's the crack. Cheers. Lots. Cheers to the people sitting on the. hill. Hot as hell. Bruce, she ga mahog. What? Wait, what' you say? Grandma, what? Gila mahog. You should. know that. You're from Boston. You got. marbles in your mouth. What was that? No, I know what it is. I'm telling. everybody else. You Thank you very much. In Irish and Gaelic. Say it again. Say. it again. Our native language. Say it.
again. Who. are you? Me and Shamus said at the same time we. screwed it up. No, you just stepped over. me trying to get a piece of information. I was trying to learn what the actual. name was. Gormaga. Oh yeah. Gormovich. No, it's not a It's an Irish thing and. it's not a Serbian. Yeah. No. No. Not. What's the score of. this game? Do we know what's going on?
3-1 Drip FC. Drip. That's Johnny Damon's. boys. Johnny Damon squad. And he's in. net right now. Ladies and gentlemen, it. is an absolute honor to be joined by a. man who is coaching Dortmart. Bournemouth. That's on me. Dortmund. Yeah, that's on. the mind. Bournemouth. They are. currently completely defeated after a. loss to Konga this morning. But he is. not a man who's defeated. No, no, no. He. made his pro debut in 2006 as a.
16-year-old child. One of the longest. tenur United States of America soccer. players of all time and an astute. businessman. I believe he's a minority. owner of the Buffalo Bills. Congrats. Ladies and gentlemen, Josie out the. door. Jo. Jose. Hey, baby. Jose. Jose. Jose. How's it going, man? How are. you? How you doing? Good to see you, buddy. Good to see you. The soccer dad,
man. Every time the. soccer you got a full one. Yeah. Do you. Do you realize. soccer? Sorry about it. Do you realize. soccer players normally only do this. part? Mhm. It's kind of like golfers. It's not a full depth. Golfers do the. same thing. We're trying to adjust to. the community. The community. We're. trying We're trying to culture We're. trying to be some culture vultures. around here and make sure we get the. proper depths. It's just one clean and.
then you let go release. Yeah. Which. kind of stinks, but it's like Steuart. sink like a golfer. To be clear though, he clearly Yeah. Apparently Debb you. also got a full deck. Deb got a full. one. You know, I was paying attention. It's been a It's. been a fun morning. Yeah. They look like. soccer players over there, which is why. he gave them. soccer. Oh, that uh let's talk about. this morning. You thought your team was. going to be good or no? What do you mean. our team is good? I didn't think we I. know. I know. That's what I'm saying.
It's our first time out here and you. know, it'll take us some getting used. to, but you know, big shout out to to. Bill Foley, to to Michael B. Jordan, all. of Bournemouth for entering a team and. and putting the effort they've put in. This is our record. This is a record. year for Bournemouth right now. All. right. Most points ever in a season. the. team here that's playing is, you know, the 2015 team that got Bournemouth to. promoted to the Premier League. So, it's. a special event and uh, you know, I I. know they're happy to be out here. Okay. I'm pumped to hear all that information. Um, the 2015 teams playing 20 a lot of.
these Did you guys do any practice. beforehand? Did you They did. They did, you know, but look, they're not they're. not full-time players anymore, but they. wanted to come out here, represent the. brand, represent themselves, and I. thought they did a great job. I thought. so, too, by the way. It's not easy, you. know. You know that. So, our guys our. guys have obviously played in this. tournament before. Our guys had three. practice games on Monday. Like, I think. we learned what TST is. Last year, we. came in cold last year and the Reggae. Rovers beat the hell out of us game one. We had no idea what we were doing. I I. felt like watching your team, they were.
figuring out the game as the game was. going on. Exactly. And and that's a lot. of what this is, right? You You know. that well. So, I'm proud of how we. performed the first game. We got another. big one later tonight. And, you know, I. know the guys will be up for it. Um, how. do you feel about maybe you playing? How. you you don't play anymore? I wish. You. know, I I I actually injured myself. I. was with my family on a Disney cruise, man. Oh, hell yeah. Were you going to. play in this? I was thinking about it. Yeah. Yeah. I would have loved to. I. would have I would have put you to the. sword out there. You I would not have. got on the field. I would not have got.
on the field. I thought you were on the. field. What happened? Well, last year I. was I ripped my hip flexor. I felt like. that's that's good last time. You know. why that happened? Why? Cuz you weren't. training as agility. Yeah. This is Let's. talk about you being a business person. And this is for you, by the way. Okay, this is I want to give you this. I got. two gifts for you. This is Bournemouth's. official US jersey tour shirt. Michael B. inspired. So, take a look at that. Smoke. stack inspired. You know what I mean? We. got this for you with the last name on. the back. We got to take care of our. people, man. You know what I'm saying? We got that. And then I have this for.
you. This is where you should have. trained. That's why you got injured. You. need to be at Soility. It is down the. road from you. There's no excuse. We. will host you. We'd love to have you. So, this is for you, too. you know, come. down, train with us, and we'll fix that. hip flexor. Okay, so let's talk about. that. You own Saggility. Yes. Okay. I. assume you own a part of Bournemouth. I. I I assume there's other things. And. then you're also minority owner of the. Buffalo Bills. I think there's some. other companies that you're like. potential investor in. When did you. decide that you're going to be an. investor? And is this all from soccer. money? Legit, we we're trying to figure.
it out. Is he pocket watching? That's. crazy. I've never seen No. When you. Billious crushing it, come on, man. I. know. But the Buffalo Bills, bro. That. is a that that is an unbelievable when. we saw your name get dropped in there. I'm like Josie Alador is an owner of an. NFL team cuz you're young. You know, you're young and it's like how that's. unbelievable. And then you start looking. into all the other [ __ ] that you're. invested in. It's like you're a good. businessman, Josie. How long has it been. like that and what has always been the. plan? No, first of all, I appreciate.
that. Um and for me, it started with my. dad. So my dad uh he actually worked at. FedEx 30 years but you know he always. instilled in me the idea of you know. owning something right and you know we. started in real estate in Bokeh so. started with a small real estate company. there that my dad started and showed me. the business from a young age and you. know ever since that he's instilled to. me the value of that and you know I kind. of took it and ran with it and it's been. uh one of my biggest passions for sure. I love watching athletes dominate in the.
business world cuz the suits they think. we're dumb. You know that, Josie? I. don't think so. No, they do. You need to. realize that they do. You need to. realize that they do. We've heard them. on the record and off the record say. things about athletes and stuff. So, remember that whenever you're in there. working. I respect it. I appreciate you. doing that. The only thing I'll say is. is like, you know, now not playing, you. have to understand what it's like for. them, right? They put 25, 30 years into. their field, went to school. So, I. think, you know, as athletes, we got to. be a little bit humble when we're. transitioning. you know, take that.
athlete hat off and kind of relearn how. to how to make an effect on society and. that's part of business. So, but keep. the athlete work ethic. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. That'll kind of That's synonymous. to me in the business world, you know, that that discipline. It's important. Agreed. Okay, let's talk about some. discipline. Let's do it. Is our US men's. national team ever going to win? This is. unbelievable. Look, USA hat. USA hat, man. USA hat. I watch you on team USA. Thank you for your service to the United. States of America. Uh it was always cool. to watch you out there and you played. 110 caps for team USA is what Wikipedia.
said. Felt like I saw you a thousand. times. Every time I watched you were. playing, so I respect the [ __ ] out of. that. But with this team, obviously, we. got a new coach, Coach Punch. Yeah. Pete. Pon Pete Pon. And every time he Ponch. leaves his club, that club goes on to. win great things. A lot of people say he. maybe built that club to have success, but you're saying when he leaves, they. win. Three different teams. Nonetheless, I feel like we've had a lot of good. players. Yeah. I feel like we have done. our job of hyping up the United States. of America. Without a doubt. We firmly. believe we're winning the World Cup.
whenever we play in it. We firmly. believe we're winning the Concava. whenever we're playing in the Conca Gold. Cup, the Caribou, the. Carib all these. We if if America was. playing in TST, I'd be pulling for them. against Conca. Okay. Even though I love. Confa and maybe some of the Conca boys. need to be on Team USA and maybe. everything would kind of change back. But why why do you think Team USA is. where it is? Because I grew up playing. soccer. I remember there was like a. project 2012 or 2012. There's a project.
40 or something. Yeah. There's all these. things. So I I grew up hearing about all. these things and the future of US Soccer. is going to be great, but we've never. really got to Why do you think that is. the case? And do you think we're closer. than ever or what do you think? You. know, I think we have to approach it in. a sensible way. Look, I I think as the. United States, it's natural. We want to. win. We want to be the best at. everything. But I think we have to. understand our league domestically is 30. years old, right? Like you look at the. age of the Premier League, the NFL. So. soccer in this country is a little bit. behind the eight-ball. But what we're.
seeing at events like this, right, young. kids, it's starting to really resonate. And I think we're starting to improve. across the board. And with things like. Sogility, with different things popping. up where we're trying to get kids. involved and keep them in the game. I. think that side is important. And so I. get the frustration, but it's a work in. progress. And I believe in those boys. I. know them all well, and I know they're. doing what they need to do to be ready. for next year. How about punch? You. believe in punch? Yes, they are. And I. believe in Pochettino. Look, you know, I. I I credit the federation. They they. took, you know, kind of uh you know,
they tried something different right. before the World Cup. They they were. really putting all their chips on the. table. And I think you have to commend. that. And I think Pochettino needs our. support. We got to get behind him. And. again, it's going to be a celebration, man. The World Cup of United States. hopefully has in effects for years to. come. Yeah. I hope we win it. Are we. going to at least make it out of pool. play? Are we knockout? I mean, historically, we've done pretty well. I. mean obviously 18 wasn't great but like. looking at other the other World Cups. 2014 18 or not 18 sorry 22 the guys had.
a good showing in Qar so I anticipate a. lot of the same even more the support. will be important from all of you you. know making sure you get out there and. watch and support the team and you know. it'll be cool to celebrate soccer first. Yeah, exactly. He wants you to show up. for nothing. Can't do that again. Josie, we're getting beat by Puerto Rico by. three goals. I don't think I don't think. that's ever happened though. I I that's. watching it. Puerto Rico. I think it was. Guam, actually. That didn't happen. 10. times worse. You hear about Gio Raina?
Why isn't Gio Raina playing? He's one of. the best players. Yeah, there's a lot of. drama always around the US national. team. Uh it seems like that's been that. way forever. But I think that's soccer. as a whole, which turns like if you get. out here, you got some guys rolling. around out here. Even at TST, you. there's always the drama. The a lot of. conc players were Oh, come on. What? Sorry. You're Bournemouth players. I'm just. saying you got the stage set up. You. know, they really I don't know. It was. tough for the Bournemouth players. The. Bournemouth players were starting to. hack us a little bit in the second half.
Yeah, they were starting to take it a. little bit more serious. Yeah, but I. don't I don't think you guys knew what. you signed up for with our team, though. Our team would have fought every one of. your guys. No questions asked. I'll tell. you, they would have got banned from. this tournament. That's our type of. guys. No, trust me, I know Bre and I. know a lot of your guys well, but you. know, Breck certainly would elbow. somebody in the face for sure, which is. awesome for Bre here to be violent. The. Arena League boys are though. That's. Yeah, but I think it was good. I think, you know, our guys really enjoyed it. You know, it's a new experience for. them. And I thought after the game, you. saw even the concava guys coming over.
giving tips and tricks. So, that's what. it's all about too, you know. So, the. arena league guys have such an. advantage. Big time. This is like their. thing. Exactly. Is this your first one. at a team? This is my first time. physically being here. Yeah, man. This. is This is crazy. It's beautiful to see. all the people coming out just hanging. out. I love the setup. It's really cool. I'm excited for you to like learn about. the I think you'll be much I think. you'll be not that you're more invested. or could be more invested this year. I'm. saying whenever you think about this and. take this in for the next year, I'm. excited to see what you think about it. Yes. No, because the Arena League boys.
Yeah. They are this whole place. Every. every single game winner from previous. tournaments, every big play, arena. dudes. These arena dudes run it. And. then if you can get the outdoor uh big. field guys in there with them, it's like. that's what we learned from Confer. Yeah. Last year your team was built for. outdoor soccer, but this year it's built. for this style arena league. This is. Arena League. Yeah. It's awesome. It's a. beautiful sport. No, it's great. And you. know, it's funny you say that. Like. that's what we need more events like.
this highlighting different players at. different levels of the game, you know. So getting Kings League going on. Is. that what it's called? Kings League. Yeah, there's Yeah, that's another small. side league. Yeah. Yeah, there's a bunch. of these like small side I think it's. big time streaming over in Europe right. now. I think it's uh soccer's awesome. Josie, you've given your life to soccer. and we appreciate the hell out of you, man. Appreciate you for coming. We'll. get this agility. Hour two will be on. the other side of the break. Be a. friend. Tell a friend something nice. It. might change their life. Take three.
We have an opportunity to give away. $75,000 to a giving name Daniel Vor. Absolutely. You're a sophomore, correct? Yeah. What is your major? Civil. engineering. Okay. So, what's that mean? What is civil engineering? Uh, I don't really know. Have you ever. kicked a ball before? I have. I have. Wayne, were you a soccer player? Soccer. player. Yeah. Okay. How were you at. kicking soccer ball? It's pretty good. I. was okay. I was good. Have you ever said. anything negative about football.
kickers? Maybe once or twice. Daniel. Damn, Daniel. We don't need that. You. make a field goal here from 33 yards. uphill. You're the civil engineer. You'd. have to tell me. I think it's about a 40. yard kick. If you're able to do that, we. will give you $75,000. All right. He's got no laces. Yeah. What. do we got going here? Can we get Can we. get a shot of shoes? What time? Can we. get a shot of the shoes? Daniel showed. up in his vans with no laces. What time. did you get here for this? About 11:40. last night. Need a lot of power.
Good luck, Daniel. I'm not feeling it. Not feeling it. Wait a second. Just like everything this morning, that. was a surprise. We did not expect that. Let's go. We got to do one more. One. more kick. for $100,000.
You got this, dude. Let's go. How about. this, Daniel? How about this, Daniel? Not only is this one for. $100,000, if you make it, we'll add. another $100,000 to the $500,000. donation we're about to make from. college game day to the hurricane. relief. It could be 600,000 if you make. this with a h 100,000 going into your. pocket. Daniel, this is bigger than you. Let's make a kick. Way to overcome the. shoes here. That was a heck of an. effort. Come on. You got this. In.
Berkeley, California. You got it. [Applause]. Hell yeah. Great job. Damn, Daniel. Damn, Daniel. Just.
talking. Are you kidding me? [Applause]. 11:40. He was. there 600,000 to hurricane relief. 100,000 to Daniel. What a morning in. Berkeley. The following program is a. collection of students talking about.
happenings in the sports world. It is. meant to be comedic informative. The. opinions expressed on this show do not. necessarily reflect the beliefs of their. peers, their boss or ESPN. There may be. some cuss words because that's how. humans is the real world talk. If you. are a young, please seek permission. before watching any further. Hey, let's go.
This show sticks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful for. McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. The alltime leading tackler for. the Green Bay Packers. You pick. Damn it. Tell a friend. Tell a friend. something nice could change their life. [Music]. Hello beautiful people and welcome back. to Wake Soccer Park in beautiful Perry, North Carolina for TST. Hour is June 4th.
starts right now. It's happening in beautiful fashion. There's a soccer tournament happening. here in Kerry, North Carolina. If you've. never been to Kerry, North Carolina, I'm. not sure what exactly you would come for. other than a tournament of some sort for. your kids. Whenever you get here, just. know that this place is beautiful. The. most pristine grass that I have ever. seen in any complex in the history. It's. set up beautifully. They're hospitable.
as hell here. The only thing you got to. worry about is the fact that it is. 250° down here. We haven't had a chance. to have the queue as Marty Smith call. the barbecue. We will certainly dive. into that. Went to a steakhouse last. night. It was the worst service we've. ever had in our entire life. But we. won't hold that against the local. people. We will hold that against the. person that confirmed our reservation. that didn't tell the rest of the. restaurant that we were coming. And the. rest of the restaurant thought they were. done working for the night and then they.
were told, "No, no, no. Actually, most. work you've had all day is coming right. down the pipe." So, we will not judge. anybody around here for the horrendous. experience. Two thumbs down. I wish I. had two more hands so I could give that. place four thumbs down. I wish. But with. that being said, beautiful town. Uh-huh. Cannot wait to explore a little bit more. today. And the Conca Soccer Club is. currently undefeated in TST. 3-1 win.
this morning over Bournemouth, which was. led by Thank you. That's That's. spattering applause. That's spattering. applause. Oh, yeah. It's a catchy tune. We got a great. team. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be able. to be here for the entirety of this. tournament. That is still a. conversation. Money in the Banks on. Saturday night in Los Angeles. I've been. invited to a place that I think is like.
a mustgo type situation. I think is a. mustgo situation. Uh, so I'll figure. that out. John Cena, you can't see me. over my left shoulder for the brand over. my right. And the boys are here. One. half of the hammer. Done. Cowboys AP. Tone is here. Tone tonight. The NHL. Stanley Cup finals. Drop the puck. What. should we be looking for? And what are. you betting on? So the Oilers are. currently - 120 to win tonight. They've. been -25 all week long. Uh, fun fact, they're also - 120 - 125 to win the. whole series. So same odds game one as.
it is the entire series. You have the. defending reigning Stanley Cup champions. in the Florida Panthers going against. Conor McDavid who is universally known. as the most skilled, talented, probably. best player in the NHL right now. It's. going to be an incredible Maybe in. history for sure. Could be. Yeah. Has to. win history. Maybe most skilled history. Maybe the most skilled player in the. history of hockey, but he's not better. Obviously not better than Weno or Sid or. Mario Stoner. I agree. Has to win a cup. Has to win multiple cups. But whenever. they talk about just like skill, just. pure.
speed, edge speed, he's also not scared. to be physical a little bit. He is like. he's the guy for the NHL. This is a home. run that they got the best player in the. world playing in the Stanley Cup finals. again taking on the Stanley Cup champion. Matthew Kachchuck led Florida Panthers. Matthew Kachchuck obviously wins over. all of United States of America during. the four four nations nations instead of. the All-Star games where he just fights. all of Canada immediately after them. booing our national anthem. That was a.
massive success. He's already the champ. They send down Marian who is beloved or. hated depending upon what city you were. from. He goes down there. Big market. feels like big marketing opportunities. It feels like with Conor Mc Jesus on the. big stage. Let's go to the toxic table. at boss Connor and at Tai Schmidt con. man. Obviously the Bruins used to be. good at hockey. You used to understand. what it was like to play at this time of. year just like us Pittsburgh Penguins. fans. It's a wonderful thing. But the. seven series though how does that play. into this entire I got to go seven. And.
uh you know the bees haven't been as. terrible as the Penguins for a long. time. This is the my first That's not. the question. Okay. Yeah. No. I just. want to clarify. This is my the Bruins. first season kind of fading into. irrelevance, but that's going to be much. quicker than the Penguins. Uh, seven. games. Is there a question in there? I I. think it's pretty clear this is going. seven games. Uh, both the Panthers are. so good. The way they play is. incredible. The way the Oilers play, you. mentioned McDavid, you know, Dry Cidle, who's amazing. Uh, Heyman, Nan Hopkins,
they have so many stuff all over Evander. Kane, Nick. Yeah, Nick Nurse play. basketball, but Darnell Nurse, you get. it. They have so many dudes across the. board and so do the Panthers. I think. that's why this is even better than last. year. You know, bigger names, more uh. people on both teams. I think Seth. Jones, six or seven guys from the. Panthers didn't play last year. There. there's similar amount as there are on. the Oilers who are kind of new to this.
type of series. But I I personally I'm. leaning Oilers. It feels like it's. McDavid's year. Feels like uh the. Panthers, as awesome as they are. May. maybe it's not meant to be a backto-back. situation, but maybe you should take off. that hat. Maybe you should take off that. hat with the American flag on it since. you're picking the Oilers. Oh. Oh, no. This has nothing to do with uh I mean, wait, is is your Captain American or. Finnish? He's Finnish. You probably. don't even know. He's a. little Yeah. Yeah. Thought he was from. Jersey. Thought Barky was Russian. No,
no, no, no. His name isn't actually uh. Ed Barkini. It's it's uh Bark. Was that. me? He thought he thought he was from. Jersey. It's not It's not like you know. the T- Wolves called Mark DGO. No, it's. not it's not something like that's not. his name either. Ty Ty has finished his second be that. baby Ty. Um Conor actually said earlier today he. said hey if we need to talk about the. Thunder coach you could actually he. likes actually go by Mark DGO and I love.
that but I I didn't say that. I didn't. say I think Kerry, North Carolina. You. can yell that from the mountains. You. might feel again. It's also not Mark. Day. We venture we start venturing down. from that northeast. We settle in Myrtle. Beach. We settle in all these Carolas. down to Florida. I don't I don't think. so. I've been looking around. I don't. think so. Wonderful. Right. I mean, it. it makes sense why Ruth Chris sucked. last Oh, [ __ ] We weren't saying the. name. It makes sense. It makes sense why. the restaurant sucked last night because.
there weren't because there weren't any. uh Italians per se, but uh it it is kind. of a different type of. red. No, no, Red Baker. He was No, he. wasn't. He actually used to work for the. Hall of Fame now runs Rudy Chris on. Tuesday nights. We'll see if it. continues. I'll watch live not with us. at dinner last night. College Football. National Champion, Super Bowl winner, father of 10, AJ Hawk. AJ Hawk.
AJ, you missed a doozy last time. Should. we run it back tonight after the 6:30. game, you think? I don't I don't know if. I we'll ever go to that place again. Bats and batteries and socks, maybe. Whoa. No, we're not riing through the. windows. Yeah, we're not riing. It's Little Town, man. I love Little. Town. Um, with that being said, AJ, your. brother-in-law has won the Stanley Cup. before. You've been a part of the entire. So, oh no, Drip FC 42, man. Letting him.
back in. Anytime you can squeeze one. past Sanui, you know you're doing. something right. Are we in target score. time yet? Is that a knee on the table? Target score time. No. Corner. Is that a. bad knee? Is that. the play? We are in target score. Yes. Oh [ __ ] Nothing worse. These pints are pretty good, boys. They. are delicious. Did you guys all drink? Try a second one. Yeah. It'd be a shame. if we got any more. Trip FC is in. control of the ball. Whoever gets to Oh, five goals will win this particular.
game. Currently 42. The team that has. the ball right now. The other team that. has Corona on their back, Club America. Club America has the ability to come. back and win this if they were able to. get the five goals before Drip FC. Avonovich is always going to shoot it. That guy has a quad tattoo that is. electrifying that he was showcasing in. warm-ups. The man that just missed that. shot right there. Now, if Club America. scores three goals, they'll win this. game. All Drift FC has to do is score.
one. Goalie's out. Chipping one over. two. Go go go go go go go go go go go. Santo got caught out getting a hot dog. Club America. Holy [ __ ] From their own. end. Come on Sanuji. All of a sudden. target score time is. 4-3. Here's the replay from his own end.
He says, "Give me that." Such can't. reach four to three target. Yeah. Should. have been two points. All Club America. needs now is two more goals. Shoot it. To Drip FC only needs one. He's so. They're taking a player off here. I. believe we are 3 minutes into target. score time. So now they will sub one. player off from each team. It was seven. on seven. Now.
it's five on five. I was told we missed. an entire three minutes. Can you call a. timeout in soccer? No. Uh I think we do. have a timeouts. I think I think we do. In okay in 11 on 111 I believe. No. Such with the ball in the back. This is. what we were talking about earlier. Goalie needs to be able to play with. soccer. Dave up front. He's an. influencer. Great soccer player. Fun to. watch. Right there with the ball. pivoting. Go.
Oh, that thing bent down. Deflection. It. was a deflection. What does he do? Like. trick shot videos or um like um Yeah, he. does like cool stuff. He does Big Shot. Brad. Huh? No, he's not Brad Johnson. Big Brad shot Brett. Drip FC with a. corner. So, is that what Drip F is? A. lot of like internet guys or is he like. the one spotted Johnny Damon yet? I. don't know. I wonder. Guy with a thigh. tat. Probably some sort of Ivanovich. I. don't know if that was out. I'm. literally sitting right down the line, too. Should have should have asked me.
Did the ball have to go out or just We. talked to the ref before the game. Uh. you told them they weren't doing any. good. So, no. I told them they're going. to do a good job. We'll tell them they. had good boots on 23 here. 23. That is. playing front left for got an angle to. take a shot. Yeah, but Sanj can't can't. get on position again. Currently five on five to the team in. blue needs two goals. The team in.
white to had a lot of space and. opportunity. They might have let him do. that because he is a goalie. He heard. you AJ. I know. Now this team in blue. here, Club America, they need to score. two goals to win this game. Target score. time, it is currently 4. to3 Drip FC. Johnny Damon owns Drip FC. Yes, that Johnny Damon who is very much. known for Yeah, absolute legend with the. Boston Red Sox, Kansas City Royals, and. most notably the New York Yankees. Not. true. Not true. Most notably the Boston.
Red Sox. He reversed He reversed the. curse in 2004 after being down. Johnny. Damon is a legend in Boston forever. What did he do with that game, Conor? He. had a grand slam and then another. ding-dong later on in the game. Love. Johnny Damon forever, I think. Can they. get a ding-dong here in Target Sports. Time? That's all they need. They they. might get a ding-dong. I I don't know if. they're going to be able to get it done. with Yeah. I mean, it's tough to beat. Satin Touch when he's got some defenders. in front and it's just everyone knows. it, you know. I wonder if the Club.
America team who has scored two goals. now in this target score time are all. Arena League boys. Yeah. Something I'm. noticing with both these teams, Pat, and. maybe you can speak to this, their. benches are not big enough. They do not. have enough players. Club America looks. like they have 12 guys. Game one here, obviously not that big of a threat. Game. two, game three, not having a deep bench. will bite you directly in the ass. Oh, what a play. Oh, that could have been. it. What a save by. Spec.
I think he got hit. There's big time. save by Specs down there for Club. America. He I mean, he ate that one in. the face, I do believe. Yeah, broken. nose, broken jaw. Maybe he doesn't care. Nope. That's why they call. Boom. What a. save. Save the game. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now as. target score time continues. I did not. know. I actually forgot that he was. watching us do all of this while wasting. his life. Ladies and gentlemen, threetime Stanley Cup champion St. Louis. kid. Patty Maru.
Hey, sorry we wasted your time, lad. So. sorry about that. Oh no. Oh no. We can't hear you. You want to talk about wasting time? We. did that, bud. Grigg, hello. There he. is. How are you? Yeah, thanks for. wasting my time. All right. It's a good. soccer tournament down here, Patty. Maroon. Maybe we'll have you on the team. next year to add a little physicality. You'd fit in well with our group, especially because you have that.
champion pedigree. Let's talk about. that. Obviously, tonight the NHL Stanley. Cup finals uh puck drops. Conor McDavid. needs to win this for his legacy. I hate. that we even have that conversation, but. Conor McDavid is clearly best player on. earth right now. How everybody should. talk and winning a cup is just something. that has to happen alongside of that. Or. the Florida Panthers looking to become. like the eighth dynastic run saying they. want backto back. What's the bigger. talking point? What matters more? Who's. motivated more? You think big rig? Uh.
oh, I think yeah, I mean with Conor. Yeah, I mean this would put a stamp on. his legacy on itself. I think we all. talk about how great Conor McDavid is. and he's probably the best player in the. world and probably will go down as the. best player we ever see uh to ever step. foot. You know, obviously I'm not taking. away Wayne Gretzky, but obviously. Wayne's uh an elite player. Uh but. generational, you know, right now Conor. McD will probably go down as one of the. best players to play. And uh I think. this will if he needs to win a Stanley.
Cup, yes, I think it will stamp his. legacy even, you know, higher. But, uh, there's times where, you know, Conor's. probably going to have this opportunity. multiple times, right? But I think if he. wins this, yes, this will stamp his. legacy right right to where he needs to. go. But, uh, we're talking about Florida. Panthers, though. Uh, team that's. getting in the way of that. And they're. going to be, you know, trying to be the. next team to go back to back. They went. they went back to three Standing Cups in. a row and they're trying to win two in a. row right now. So, um, they're in the. way right now. A good team that's pretty.
healthy right now. And uh it's going to. be a hard task for Connor and the guys. Isn't it crazy to just think about the. greatness that's happening? Kachchuck. said on our show, I think, or maybe. somebody else is, I forget. He said, "We're clearly the two best teams in. hockey." Clearly, I I He was like, "Everybody kind of knows that we're the. two. [Applause]. best. Patty, we don't know. Big crowd. reaction. Looks like a PK." I don't. know. I think there was a big foul, Patty. I think there was a big foul. Here's a replay. Oh, pushing it back. Oh, is that a penalty? It's absolute.
bushley. Looks like a flop. I think he's. got a penalty to win this. Wait a. minute. Patty Maroon. Red card. No red. card. Don't be calling. for Patty. Don't be doing that. Oh, we. got a penalty. Patty Maroon. Wow. All. right. Do you think he scores or you. think the goalie saves it? Pat Maroon. He scores. Okay, that would win it. Yep. For Drip FC. Number 10 for Drip FC. Leo Messi. Is. that Leo? Yeah. What do you do? You pick. a side, right or left or what? You go.
away. I would go I always go as hard as. I possibly can right half of net. Okay, but he's probably going to go precision. Big save. Big save America stays alive. What a save by Specs down there. That. was a very po. Goalie tries to read. Okay, cuz you kind. of read somebody's approach. You can. kind of do that. The goalie obviously I. think he was a reacting C uh goalie. Some people react, some people guess. So.
I think shooter was hoping for a. guesser. He was a reactor. Got his ass. You get it? Wasn't the best shot. What's. that? It wasn't the best shot. Right there. He was hoping to guess the. other way. I think I think he was hop. Yeah. Do you you watch soccer all the. time? Who's your team? No, I don't. Okay. pretty much the same as hockey. All right. Well, your prediction game is. 0 for one here. You said he'd score. The. goal he said, uh-uh. When you talk about. Conor McDavid, you just said something.
there. Uh, he's probably the best player. ever. Is it like, do all hockey people. talk about that? Like just how absurd he. is on the ice? Cuz I think for the NHL, great news that he's on prime time in. the Stanley Cup final to watch. Looks. like he's going at different speed. Is. that what it is or what is it about him? Yeah, I mean, I think his hockey IQ, he. thinks the game faster than a lot of. people think the game. He's one step. faster than, you know, the normal. average NHL player. And there's a lot of. guys like that, the Coos, the McKennons, the Crosby's. Um, I mean, there's a list.
of guys that go down uh dry that just. have that hockey IQ that think one step. faster than a normal normal NHL hockey. player. But, uh, his quickness and the. way he can turn on a dime, the way he. can do things. Um, you know, his edge. work, you know, he's so dynamic. Look. how dynamic that is. And uh I think his. first two steps, three steps, it kind of. fools a lot of defenders. He puts pucks. in a a lot of different areas in their. feet and their triangle of their stick. where it makes it very difficult to. defend. So um you know, he's he's he's.
one of the best and generational. I can't wait to watch him tonight. And. also Club America has tied it up in. target score time. Instant classic this. game. It was 4-1 going into target score. time. Now we are at 44. It's the first. one to five. Remember the uh the way. these games end down here, Patty Maroon, is it's always a walk-off. Whatever the. leading team has, you add one goal. That. is now the target score. Whoever gets. there first wins. Club America was down.
three. Now they're tied. All they need. is one goal. It's threeon three in. Kerry, North Carolina. They have a field. player with a penny on. He is acting as. the goalie. Let's go ahead and get an. extra couple feet on the ball. Soccer. Dave is in for his team when it's. threeon three. He must be a great. player. Back to the goalie. They would. try to pick apart. There's a new rule. that you can't hold it for 8 seconds. anymore. Oh, that's a great People used. to sit with the ball for 8 seconds. It. was very boring. Just waiting for the. other team to attack. It was kind of a.
stand still. Soccer. Dave went for the. win. Dave Specks with another massive. save. Patty Maroon. It's getting a new. league. What's going on here? Is this a. new league? What's going on? It's a once a year tournament called. TST. It's called the soccer tournament. You remember TBT? The basketball one? Yeah. The basketball. Yeah. They do it. for soccer. It's called TST. Okay. And. uh it's like three times bigger than the. basketball one with fans, teams, everything. Million dollars on the line. It's a huge ordeal. I'm shocked you're.
not playing. Well, my team won this. morning, Patty. Oh, Konga is our name, which is a play on. You put an extra. million in for the boys to win or no? I. am paying the boys. Drip. FC scores in target score time after an. epic clash with Club America. Oh, they're coming over. Trip SC the boys. [Applause].
[Music]. Easy, easy, easy. Hell yeah. Godamn animals. Hell yeah. Jeez. I like. Trip FC. I hope we see you in the finals, brother. That was awesome. [Applause]. [ __ ] killed it. Wow. What a win for. Drip FC. Matty Maroon. Pretty.
electrified, don't you think? That was. electric. We almost had a Commander. Stadium situation. They were They were. just rocking on that glass. You can't be. doing that. Hey, great work whoever put. this uh uh ESPN folks production folks. Well done. Well done. That could have. been bad. Big time. That was bad. Don't. pull on that. I. thought it was I know getting. I know I am. I was watching, you know, as it was taking place. Uh AJ has a. question for you. Patty, what a winner.
for Drip FC and Johnny Damon. Yeah, Johnny Damon is definitely happy. But. Patty, what when you talk about Conor. McDavid? I'm thinking with hockey, you. play football and basketball here. When. you have a generational talent, a lot of. people say, "Hey, just don't let this. guy beat you. We need to force someone. else to beat us." Can you do that with. Conor David McDavid? Is it Are you able. to find a way? What's going on here? This guy just came off. I mean, I almost. thought saw a guy here on this this. thing a second ago. Can you take Conor. McDavid away and force the other guys to. beat you?
Uh, yeah. I mean, you can. Are you. asking like can you win without Conor. McDavid? Try to cut out there. Yeah, we got a lot. of we got a lot of moving parts going. on. I'm saying can you focus on him and. say double him? Do whatever it takes to. actually take Conor McDavid away. Is. that possible in hockey with a guy as. good as he is? I mean, it's possible. Yeah, you can have a guy that can shut. him down and you know, it's not like. basketball. It's like one-on-one or. football. There's a lot of one-on-one. matches where you can shut him down. Um,
but yeah, they'll have their matchups. where it's probably Barov's line against. Conor McDavid's line and you kind of. just shadow him in the neutral zone. You'll probably have someone shadow him, but it's going to be hard to contain. them as much as possible. It's not like. fast or football where you have your. one-on-one matches and uh you can. contain them a little bit better that. way. But I think uh you have your. matchups with uh your D pairing, the top. two D that are going against them and. then the the top three fours that are. going matched up against them too. So. they just try to do a good job of. limiting time and space being hard on.
him phys physicality on him. Um, you. know, try not to, you know, get that, you know, space where he can create his. office on his own. So I think it's all. time and space limited. But I think. that's why, you know, hockeyy's great. because it's if you beat one guy, it's. the next fan up to kind of defend and. help out that way in that direction. So. you got to beat all five guys. So I. mean, we all know Florida Panthers are a. good defending team. They're phys. they're physical, so it's going to be. hard for him, but uh you know, he always. finds ways, the best players finds ways. to uh kind of get out of that. Is there.
like a scouting report on each guy on. how to beat him? Like I know goalies we. have that I know goalies were breaking. them down and it's fun to watch now that. I learned that you guys do that. Watching the first period shots all. going to one side of the net, like. everybody's peppering high glove side, it's like obviously the message was, "Hey, this guy's glove is susceptible.". Is there like is there a a story or a. book on guys too like hey this guy. doesn't like maybe whenever we chop the. [ __ ] close to his hands doesn't like. little Is there like that type of.
conversation when you guys are breaking. down film or how does it go? Yeah, it's. mostly in the playoffs. Some coaches I. had a coach Tom Colin he'll have a sheet. before every game. You look at it their. lineup and their tendencies what they. bring um what they're good at, what. they're not so good at, things that can. you know get underneath their skin. And. I know during the playoffs, every coach. does this. You have like a booksheet and. then, you know, they're kind of analyzes. each player and they have all their. tendencies and what they're good at, what they're not so good at. You know,
how can you drive them a little bit. nuts? You know, guys, you want to stay. away, you know, these are the guys that. like to kind of [ __ ] in between. whistles. So, stay away from that. You. know, they have a lot of things uh that. kind of queue on it. Mostly it's. attended to goalies I would say in the. playoffs because you're trying to get to. the goalie. Usually the goalies you can. say their best player that that's their. guy. You know Bob Rosski is obviously a. stud. So how can we get the Bob? Um but. you know yeah but there's a booklet of. sheets where you know there's there's.
guys that have all their tendencies and. what they're good at and you just try to. focus on maybe one or two of those. throughout the course of a series. What. do you think the book was on you when. other people are reading about you? Big. This guy's big. Big big slow. Can beat him with speed. Although we. rarely beat him with speed. He can beat. you wide. Debo has a question for you, Pat. Yeah, you just talked about Bob and. obviously, you know, defense wins. championship. Who do you give uh the. goalie edge to when it comes to Bob and.
Skinner in the other net? Uh to me, I think Bob has the the edge. Um, I think he he's a guy that's. obviously been there the last two years. He's won one. Uh, you know, I'm still. waiting for Skinner to make those, you. know, he's been playing great ever since. uh Bquard got hurt. He kind of step in. and kind of had those ropes where he, you know, he had to step up and play his. game. And they rely on Skinner a lot. But the upper hand right now, I'm giving.
it to Bob until Skinner, you know, shows. me, you know, maybe games one and two, he's here to perform. And I think he. went through that transition last year. of, you know, letting in some kind of. soft bulls. And when you win a Stanley. Cup, you need defense. You need your. goalender. You know, you rely on them so. much. So, I'm going to give it to Bob. right now, but we'll talk after game. one. We'll see how it goes. Connor has a. question for you. Patty. Yeah, Patty. You got brought up in the first hour. What's the deal with the new CBA? because we know for the Lightning teams. you played for for some of these.
Panthers teams for the Golden Knights um. kind of cheated. I'm not going to go. that. far. But the whole entire Oh, this guy's. hurt. This guy's hurt. This guy's hurt. Let's stay under the cap. Boom. Playoffs. Let's bring back Cooerov. Let's bring back Stone. Let's bring back. some of the greatest players in the. league. Um even though, you know, they're technically over the cap. what. is this situation and how much will this. actually change uh the NHL playoffs? Cuz.
it does feel as though this kind of, you. know, sneaking of the rule, kind of. taking advantage of the rule has. dramatically uh helped some of these. teams go and get the cup. Yeah. I mean, listen, the CBA is going. to talk about it. They're going to touch. on it. The GMs are going to touch on it. The owners are. But listen, guys are. hurt. Guys are hurt. You have space. I. think you should utilize it. In my. opinion, I think uh you're not really. cheating the system because your guys. are really hurt. Like I know everyone's. talking about the coo effect and you.
know he was hurt, you know, the whole. season and all of a sudden he comes back. for game one of the playoffs. Well, he. was hurt and we could talk about. Kachchuck right now. Um you know he was. hurt. you got hurt in uh Four Nations. and then you know they have space for. Seth Jones and. um and Brad Maron and and Sturm and so I. mean listen I think they're they're. probably going to touch on it probably. people are pretty aggravated by it the. owners or the teams that don't make it. that far that don't have enough cap.
space or don't have injuries that run. into that situation. Um but it's. certainly something to talk about. But. hey, listen, if a guy's hurt a guy's. hurt, if you can make your team better. by adding more pieces underneath the. cap, and I know you're going to be over. the cap once the playoff hits, but they. only say, "Hey, you got to hit the cap. before, you know, before the end of the. season." So, if you can do that and add. pieces to the puzzle, I'm all for it. I. don't I don't think you could get rid of. it. I think it's you make your teams a. lot better by doing that. Yeah. How come.
the Pittsburgh Penguins aren't doing it? How come the teams that aren't good. aren't doing it? What's the deal? Well, because they're not in the. playoffs. Jeez. Oh, and they haven't. been for a while. Tone. last year. Yeah, Kyle Dubis is going to. turn around. Don't you worry about. question for you Pat. Big Rick in a lot. of other sports, we when it comes to. generational talents, we talk about, hey, when they win their first title, you know, it's kind of like, you know, taking the top off the bucket or. whatever. If uh if Conor McDavid is to.
win this Stanley Cup, do you think. there's a chance that the Oilers kind of. go on a run here where they're in a. position like the Panthers are right now. where they're in the finals every year. they're winning cups or at least you. know like he could have a real. generational run or is that different in. hockey than it is in every other sport. because it's so difficult to win a. Stanley Cup? No, I I think you're. totally right there. I think uh the. window's so small in hockey, right? If. you have a window that's still open and. you can keep going after and keep trying.
to go win cups, keep going after cuz. once the window closes, then you're. seeing it with like, you know, the. obviously we can go back to the. Penguins. You know, the window was open. for so many years, winning. championships, going back to the finals. You know, they won back to back. Um, but. I think if they win, they're going to. keep that window open to keep adding. pieces to, you know, keep trying to win. more Stanley Cups as you can. And look. at Florida right now. they're they're. doing the same thing. You know, they. don't want their window to close because. once it closes, then you're kind of in.
that rebuild phase, right? And um you. know, to me, if you had the two best. players in the world, Conor and Leon, you got to keep that window open as much. as possible because those two can really. draw you in and bring you back to the. Stanley Cup just on those two alone. So, uh I hope they win. I hope Edmonton. wins. Kind of relieve that pressure from. Connor and Leon. they can now kind of. settle in, win their cup, and then. hopefully go on a deep run, continue to. keep winning here because with those two. guys in the game, it's much better and. it's bigger for us. Patty, I got a.
question for you. Um, we know that the. Panthers are pests or rats. Obviously. the Oilers know they are pests and rats, but is there a way like obviously the. Oilers know that, but is there a chance. that the Panthers can still get under. their skin and going into a series like. that when you know the other team is is. going to try to get under your skin the. entire time? What do you do? I mean, the. Florida Panthers are a greasy hockey. team. Greasy hockey team. Super greasy. Hell yeah.
Um they're they're fun to watch and. they're they're a pain to play against. They're always in your face. So, but I. think uh Edmonton's got those guys. I. think for Edmonton, they just got to. stay away from the kind of [ __ ] that. goes on with, you know, the Florida. Panthers. You know, they're going to be. doing stuff behind the whistle. They're. going to be doing stuff behind the play. They're going to be rubbing in your face. after every whistle. They're going to be. trying to get you underneath your skin. as much as possible. So, I think with. Edmonton, they have those guys, but with. Edmonton, they just got to stay within. structure and just play their game and. stay out of the stay out of the nonsense.
that, you know, Florida's going to bring. because Florida's a better hockey team. when you engage back with them. So, if. you're engaging back, they're a better. hockey team. Those guys feed off that. stuff. uh the Marshon Bernette um Sammy. and Kachchuck and you know all these. guys they kind of just feed off this. energy of like getting back in your face. and they just laugh in your face and. they continue to do it. So I think for. Edmonton just stay in your lane, stay. out of the stuff and you know just play. your game cuz you're you're so talented. and so deep right now. So uh but they.
have guys that go back at them so it. will be interesting to see how they. handle that situation. I'd like to see a. physical fight start tonight. seven game. series, the NHL Stanley Cup finals. A. man who has won that three times, just. so happened to be in a row for two. different teams. Ladies and gentlemen, the man Patty Maroon. Thank you, Patty. Patty, is this a new league? Fair question. Fair question. Yeah, if. you never seen it before, you would. assume, hey, that game behind us was.
electric. All time classic. That's what. the bonus time target time, sorry. Target score is all about. You're. literally waiting all day for target. Yeah, that's what we're trying to get. to. Now, that was last year's plan. I. don't know about this year cuz we have a. much more talented team this year. Much. more do ball dominant. But that's why. you played great during the actual game. because they were up 4-1. So, you have a. little wiggle room and when you get down. to three guys. So, like last year plan. was just keep it tight for target score. time. Just get to target score time and.
then we'll have Arena League boys take. it over. You know, like if if we're. losing, let's just we're down two. nothing, I think, in one of the games. and we get to target score time. We come. back win 3-2 cuz we got the arena boys. That is arena soccer right there at the. end. So like our arena squad being out. there, it is the time. And Miola, first. of all, Mio looks so good. Unbelievable. Yeah. Like night like much much better. this year. Also, uh he had a heart. attack. He Yeah, exactly. So it's. awesome to see. I'll change some things. for you. Sometimes people well some I.
mean I some people not all some people. especially when you come from an Irish. family they'll have a heart attack and. they'll say hey I'm ready for number. two. Other times some people will you. know actually get better and it's cool. Miola has uh has he drawn up plays cuz. he told us last night yeah that he has. kind of been in his bag was going to. name a play after Gumpy. Has he done. that yet? I haven't heard the Gumpy play. call yet but I he is on the dry erase. Okay. We're drawing a lot of this. I. actually have a video of the pregame. speech from Tony Miola back in the. village back in the saw you.
post Gump gave a speech this morning. after breakfast. The last speech before. we left uh from the hotel was on Gump. Wow. Tony Miola walked over to him about. 4 seconds before he had to speak. He. said, "Hey, you want to say something?". And he walked away. And then Tony Mola. said, "Ladies and gentlemen, without. further ado, Coach Gump." Coach G. He. was ready. Coach obviously coach Gump. was ready. He's been given that he's. given that speech to Liverpool. Oh yeah, I think a few different times. Let's go.
to the truck. Actually, Gumpy, how'd you. feel giving that speech this morning? You absolutely nailed it, pal. I mean, I. just remember how we started last year. and I just knew we had to come out of. the gates fast and I just wanted to. remind the boys that we had to have game. one and that's what we did. That was and. it was on Gumpy to announce who was. captain of this team. Wow. Gump, did he. pick Gump? That was a big deal. I feel. like that was uh coach Miola as actually. came over and was like, "Can you let. everybody know that Zach's captain?". That's smart play by Tony Miola. actually. Yeah, anybody's pissed about.
this. Remember Gumpy? Bad blood from. Breck. Yeah, I I feel like Breick Shre. was not the uh Breick is a captain. Uh. but he was not captain last year. Remember Jeff Com. He was Captain. America. We have a lot of captains on. the team, but Zach Knight is 7 foot. tall. Yeah, he's a beast. And he played. 160 minutes straight last year. Ran a. guy over actually and he was out here. game one. He was in the Premier League. for 10 plus years. And he got fouled uh. today and because he's so big, they.
didn't call the foul. Yeah. Punched. himself in his knees. Guy went for a. cross body on absurd and just didn't. even care. Unbelievable. I didn't even. think about the refs working. The refs. were good. The refs were good. Let's not. complain about the ref. Gumpy got two. yellow cards last year yelling at the. refs. That's right. You might get two more. We were a pretty. docile bunch, I feel like, this game. I. mean, when you control the possession. like that, there's not really a whole a. whole lot to [ __ ] about, you know. They're just waiting for a goal. Exactly. Great pregame speech. Let's.
talk about some things that have. happened around the NFL. Travis Hunter. has his first massive NFL highlight. Comes from OTAAS. He's playing DB. And. I'll tell you what, I believe they say. it's called in a guy's pocket. Debb, did. you see this video? And what are your. thoughts? Oh yeah, I asked um who rap. sheet yesterday. Hey, any updates from. Travis Hunter and I've had eyes boots on. the ground down there. He's just been. phenomenal. Obviously, he's playing both. sides to the ball, but this right here a. lot of people bitching, oh, it wasn't a. catch. It wasn't this. The fact that. it's even a conversation with that play.
going up, high pointing it, leaning. locate, and then finishing making a play. on the ball. He's just a phenomenal. athlete. I can't wait to see this kid on. Sundays doing his things on both sides. of the football. They say he has the. juice all the time. They say vibes. lifted when Travis Hunter comes in the. room. And that's also a piece of the. scouting. It's like, hey, this guy's a. really good player. He's a generational. talent. He can play on both sides. His. cardiovascular is better than everybody. else seemingly in the NFL. What's he. like as a human? Ah, [ __ ].
We can deal with it. Mhm. Like even if. he wasn't the person he is, they would. deal with it because of the amount of. football talent that he has. But add on. the fact that he's like considered like. the perfect teammate, the perfect. football guy, just always bought in and. his vibes are always immaculate. It's. like what a home run for Jacksonville. And that's why Stoner down there gave. the speech that he gave and you said you. talk to people boots on the ground down. there. They're giving reports like every. day it's something where he is doing. something absurd, right? Yeah. Guys.
watching practice and just we all been. around those guys. I'm sure Seaw Wool. was kind of like this. It's just like. the ball just finds them and they're. never out. Uh Tyron Matthews, another. player that kind of comes to mind. Just. absolute ball magnets, spatial. awareness, always aware who's around. you, what's going on around you. So, like I said, I can't wait to see how he. fits into number one, the offense on the. other side of Brian Thomas Jr. and then. his defense. Um getting the offense. extra possessions by creating turnovers. Nothing impacts the game more than. creating turnovers and setting your. offense up uh to be successful. And like.
in the entire draft combine process, everything Travis Hunter basically. talked about as number one wide. receiver, number one quarterback. And. right now the trendy pick feels like in. the off season for the team to turn it. around is the New England Patriots. It. feels as though that has kind of been. Congrats on the new deal with Will. Campbell. Yeah, Will Campbell signs his. contract. Fully guaranteed for. 43.66 million. Number four overall. pick. Yeah, love that. You assume Travis. Hunter is going to get 50 guaranteed if.
he's doing stuff like this and he's. playing both sides of the ball. The. Jags, I feel like the team that have. been kind of, you know, better in recent. years that have had a couple bad. seasons. But then you add, he's Trevor. Lawrence a guy. Exactly. Is Trevor. Lawrence a guy? But you add Brian Thomas. Jr. last year who widely regarded as one. of the best receivers, if not the best. rookie receiver. If you think Travis. Hunter is going to be the number one of. this class, both corner and wide. receiver, all of a sudden the Jags at a. number one corner, add another wide.
receiver with Brian Thomas. And then you. look at what's happening in uh Houston. with CJ Strad. The AFC South is kind of. wide open. Let's talk about what's going. on in Houston. There is reports coming. out of the Houston Texans otaas that CJ. Strad has been limited. CJ Stroud is not. thrown. And then coach Tiko Ryan. actually addressed it and said there's. some soreness that they're being. precaution. Uh yeah, if you could lower. the Tiko Ryan, there's no concerns with. CJ. It's just general soreness. We're.
taking extra precautions with him, but. he'll be good to go. No concerns on my. end there. Says he report. thirdyear quarterback, stud quarterback, OTAAS, has done everything right. Can. spin it. shoulder. They're saying no. concerns for soreness during OTAAS. I. like seeing that. Looks like he put his. arm his hand over his shoulders. So, if. there was a massive shoulder injury, I. don't think he would be doing all that. The soreness is interesting with the. time of year that it is. It's June. Was.
this too hard of workouts? Is this an. injury that's lingering from last year. that he didn't know was as serious? Like. the Derek Carr situation that happened. just a few months ago down in New. Orleans. What are your thoughts on this, Steve? Hopefully it's a big nothing. burger here in in early June. But it we. were conversing before the show, me AJ. uh specifically talking about the. quarterback who kind of been around and. you were around Payton. And the one. thing we know about franchise. quarterbacks, they like to get all their. reps, you know, regardless of when it is.
mini camp, OTAAS, training camp, they. like to get those reps if they're in the. building, which most of them are. So. this is concerning to me early June. This is a young quarterback. Uh. definitely too early to be taking G. days. So, uh, definitely concerning, but. hopefully once we get into the season, once again, he's a phenomenal talent, so. hopefully we see him taking every snap, uh, next season. It's a big, uh, big. nothing burger once we get to the big. dance. Yeah, it can be. It definitely. most likely is is nothing, you would. think, but the time of year is what kind. of would scare me. Like the only time. I've ever seen a quarterback not maybe.
not throw as much or have not even an. off day but come out and just okay he's. not going to do seven on in team today. but just individual is if say you had. three straight days of practices and he. threw a bunch of balls and you had you. have a certain limit but a young guy in. June not throwing. Yeah, I would I'd be. worried a little bit especially cuz. we've heard nothing about any of it. Uh. I'll tell you whenever I saw Andrew Luck. throwing at the beginning of that one. training camp when he Yeah. Yeah. And it. was like lollipops, right? He can't. throw a football. That is not That's not. a guy we remember. That's not an NFL.
quarterback right there. Those are some. floaters that are happening right there. That's whenever like everybody kind of. found out about it, I think, on our. team. I wonder how the Houston Texans. are with his soreness. Have they known? Have they expected this? Has CJ expected. this? Is this something he's been. dealing with? We hope not. Good luck, CJ. Good luck, CJ. Micah Parsons, he's. tweeting about mini camp. He said, "I'm. a beater. I never missed one." Yeah. So. what? Going into my fourth year. Never. missed one of these. Okay, Mike. Call a. man Tori. I'll be there. I haven't.
missed a mini camp in four years. Even. though the contract is not done, I have. teammates and a playbook. I'm preparing. as if I will be on the field the first. week of camp. But it's in the owner's. hands. I'm ready to win a Super Bowl. Sounds like they're in the middle of. negotiating. It sounds like Michael. Parsons knows what the right thing is, which is to be around his teammates to. set an example of being there for a. mandatory mini camp. Knowing that he's. going to be a staple or a pillar of the. Dallas Cowboys for a long time. It's. good for the rookies. It's good for the. entire team to see one of their guys.
present at a mandatory mini camp as. opposed to any drama or missing. Maybe. some guy might want to ask him about his. routine. Maybe you want to just get used. to kind of how everything is under. shotty in the building. There's a lot of. upside. The downside is you lose. leverage in negotiation is what people. say because if you hold out, you take a. stand, you're really not happy about. what's going on. Him being there, I. don't think slows anything down. Jerry. Jones have been very open about paying. him. It's in the owner's hands, says. Micah. We assume it's going to get done. Jerry's going to pay him, right? Jerry,
I mean, Jerry drafted him. Micah is a. foundational piece, a franchise dude, a. guy that moves and runs and rushes the. passer like not really anyone else on. the planet can do. So yeah, I think. Jerry's going to pay him. I don't know. when that might be. Remember when Zeke. didn't go to camp and he was down in. Cabo working out and everything and then. all of a sudden, bam, he gets a gigantic. deal. I don't know if Mike is going to. have to do that, but Jerry will get him. paid. Even the CD Lamb situation last. year that, you know, so whatever for. whatever reason, this is how Jerry uh. does his business, but to your point, he.
ends up paying these guys. And they do a. great job obviously in the draft, you. know, finding these guys uh in the. pre-draft process, paying them at the. point. So he will be a guy Miles. Garrett. Obviously he set that gap and. kind of I think between him and uh who. was that Denil Hunter and uh Crosby. So. I think Parsons will be very close to. Miles Garrett when he actually does get. paid because he is a guy who is a pillar. who you build your defense around, you. know, top three pass rusher since pretty. much the day he stepped into the NFL. Yeah, it's going to get done. I mean.
Jerry has in the recent, you know, past. he's waited until almost like right. before the season to pay these guys. But. if you're a Cowboys fan, you know, like. they're not letting Michael Parsons go. anywhere. You just can't. I mean, he's. he is their defense right now. And and. if Jerry recognizes that. So, we'll see. I mean, is he going to end up having to. maybe give him a little bit more than he. would had he paid him a couple months. ago? Probably. But that's kind of been. the Cowboys MO uh mo with their, you. know, big- time stars over the last few. years. Maybe Jerry likes this cuz we're. talking about it. The drama like.
and Mike is going to talk about it. Maybe he just waits all this time. because he likes hearing people talk. about the captain. Well, with that being. said, you bringing up that Jerry drafted. him. Y it's like, yeah, there's a 100%. chance he gets paid. He knows that. I'm. just going to come to mandatory mini. camp. We know this is going to get done. Michael Parsons is going to be on prime. time 13 times a year for the next 10. years of his career. And uh that's Jerry. Jones football, baby. That is how it. goes. Let's talk about uh maybe some. Pittsburgh Steeler football. Have you.
heard Debbut? I have not. Have you heard. AJ? Nope. Connor, I don't think so. Ty, I don't think so. No, I know Diggs has. John Smith. Trade conversations with the. Pittsburgh Steelers has happened and. started up back again potentially, says. Adam Sha back in it. The Steelers. renewed conversations today with. Dolphins tight end Johnu Smith who is. seeking a new contract. The trade. between the Steelers and Dolphins is. still alive per source. one person told.
Adam Shfter that. Tone, I haven't heard. you be as excited as I think you should. be for a John. Smith type caliber player. coming to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, it is back on which is exciting. Uh cuz. uh yesterday morning Chev said it was. off. Those thing, you know, the talks. have died. That's not going to happen. Yesterday afternoon those things are the. talks are back on. I think I'd be more. excited if I thought it was real um at. all. There's a lot of um thoughts in. Pittsburgh through the Pittsburgh media. uh now that this is just Drew Rosenhouse. trying to uh you know kick up some.
interest so that the Dolphins will pay. John Smith cuz he deserves it. He's an. incredible player. Would I love Johnny. Smith to be a Steeler? Yes. Do I think. it's going to happen? No. They just paid. Patmouth. Uh Darnell Washington came. into camp 15 lbs down. They said he. looks amazing. Now yesterday their third. tight end Donald Parnum uh did tear his. Achilles. Um, so that news, the Sheper's. news kind of aligned with that. So it. there may have been some legitimacy. there. Um, but no, I it just doesn't it. doesn't make sense for either team. You.
got the Dolphins guy who was their best. player last year. Uh, and then the. Steelers who, you know, already paid a. tight end, have two tight ends. Now I I. love I know that. Um, already loves. tight ends, but it just doesn't feel. doesn't feel real. So I'm not excited. Okay. you think is a business play by. Rosen House who has done billions. billions of dollars in negotiations over. the past I think there's a chance but. Chev's reporting it twice now yes he is. so Sheper is not just putting out fake.
stuff I mean Sher has to be legit. correct so maybe there is a little bit. of a dab on a conversation if the. Dolphins aren't able to get it done. would like to get out of here or maybe. the Steelers are saying hey is there. actual availability here we'll see if. the Dolphins make the play the Dolphins. pay everybody don't they Gumpy don't. Dolphins pay everybody we paying guys. that actually don't play for us either. So, we'll get rid of our best player. It's just this is a No, nobody said you. guys are doing that. No, we're still. paying hell. Gumpy JMZ. You know, Gumpy. sneaky Fox 97 and La Mexxana Express.
playing right here behind us. Big foul. R has dug into the pocket. He's good. I. thought that guy shot got shot in both. legs with a shotgun. Well, he pulled the. yellow. He pulled the yellow. card. That's a hat. A yellow card. Oh, yellow. You do it one more time, mister. You're on two games. Uh, is there Is. there a carryover in yellows in this. tournament? I think you're uh I think. you're allowed to get 14 of them. Okay, nice. Cover your dong here. Good number. Uh, we could get a deflection off of our.
face. Four dongs here. Probably a miss. of the net if I had to get Oh, fake. Oh, pass. Oh, what a. play. Oh, that was nice. Hey, they drew that up. 97. That's Stinky Fox 97. Obviously, they drew up a set piece there. Brought. over the ball. Little distraction. Pass. it down to the goal line. Pass it. across. Everybody whiffs. Clean up. Goal. Cheeky touch. That. is Andy Reed with the play. That's.
beautiful. Is Is Punch on the sideline. for them? Conor was actually pissed. earlier that a team was running a set. play this early in the tournament. You. got to save those things for later. Sneaky Fox is just that. It's a bold. move though. You know, like when when. Concave FC runs into them in the finals, we know their play. You're going to know. the set piece they're rolling. Well, it. doesn't matter if you know the plays. You got to execute is what they say in. football. Whenever people knows. everybody's plays, uh, you know, you. talk about things that don't make sense, like Johnny Smith maybe getting traded. to the Pittsburgh Steelers, even though,
hey, would be cool if it happened. Great. How about a punter squatting over. 700 lb? You know, there's conversations. about punters lifting and uh they'll be. doing bench and they'll be like, "Well, what do you need your arms for?". They'll be doing like upper body and. they'll be like, "Oh, that's not helping. you. What's that dude kick a ball?". Squatting, I think, is a good thing to. be able to be great at if you're a. punter or a kicker. And Ethan Evans of. the Los Angeles Rams squatting over 700. lb in OTAAS. 705. This man's Instagram.
is just a series of posts showcasing him. in a weight room. You're talking about a. gym rat that happens to be a punter who. had. 55% of his punts inside the 20 last. year. I think it was the highest, one of. the highest in the NFL. You're talking. about an absolute beast on the field of. punting and an absolute warrior in the. weight room. AJ 705 lb squat. Not with. one of those soft bars either. He's. putting that thing on his spine, taking.
it down to the ground and bringing it. back up to the Lord. I mean, taking it. to the Lord. You're right. That was I've. been paying close attention to make sure. he doesn't have that little little pad. on the bar, which if you want to, that's. okay. I understand everybody's built. differently, different situations. But, uh, for a punter, for any player to do. this is unbelievable. But, yeah, for a. punter, yeah, I love it. I think I don't. think you're letting a lot of people do. 700 lb in the NFL. That's what a lot of. people don't talk about. like college. I. was very lucky to have coach Mike Baris. as my strength coach at West Virginia. University. Yes, he is a beast. He's. going to work your heart. You're going.
to be lifting a lot. You're going to be. running a lot. And I think there's a lot. of development that happens in college. You see guys gain like 50 60 pounds of. muscle over like a 3, four year period. when you're put on protein, you're put. on a diet, you're put on a workout plan, you're put on a schedule, you're put on. a vision basically of what your body can. be and then you go in there and I mean. you get your ass kicked in these gyms. and you you it's the worst workouts, hardest workouts of all time. I think. everybody would agree with that. But it. obviously showcases in the development. of your body. Then when you get to the.
NFL, it's not really more about. developing your body. It's about like. how do we make your body the best? How. do we save it to be on Sunday? And you. like kind of taper off. I don't know how. many people are squatting 700 lb in the. NFL. I don't think they're letting you. do it. I I don't think Ethan Evans said. feed me all of it. And uh that's why. punters are both different. Ducks. That's impressive. I I've never seen. that, especially from a punter in an NFL. weight room. to your point now going to. college. To your point, those strength. and conditioning programs, strength and. conditioning coaches, I think those are.
probably the most important people in. the building when you bring in these 17, 18 year old kids and kind of turn them. to grown ass man. I put on 24 lbs uh in. college working, eating, doing all that. [ __ ] Shout out Coach Martin. Rest in. peace. Uh but those are very, very. important people. But to see this and to. your point, first thing we're looking. for now, 2025, what type of bar is he. using? And then as an athlete, what kind. of depth is he getting when he's doing. his squat? So yeah, getting that depth, getting it up. That is very, very. impressive. Steve Weatherford, obviously. a man that wouldn't be scared to do. this. Sure chance. So jacked. Steve.
Weatherford. He's like a bodybuilder, honestly. How big and ripped he is. And. he has been for like 20 years straight. Just always ripped off. He was on the. cover of Muscle and Fitness, I believe, at one point. Yeah, he did the uh Vanam. split. Oh, hell. He also had six punts. inside of 20, I think, in the Super. Bowl. Pretty good. Which is like a Super. Bowl record. I think like four of them. were inside the 10. Nice. Absolutely, John. We love that. Yes, we do. Yes, we. do. As we are live from Kerry, North. Carolina. Sneaky Fox 97. Oh, I like.
that. A little energy, a little juice. here from the crowd. Very easily. accessible to come watch anything here. It's very well put together. The TST. people deserve a lot of praise. Yeah, I. mean, they do a great job. Perfect place. to do everything, too. And I don't think. they're like making money. Oh, stand. over top of a guy and he's down. I think. they're investing completely in the. tournament. It's awesome. Like they want. it to be very well run. I mean, it's. grown big time year over year, hasn't. it? Yes, I think it has. And also the. way the h the hotels, the housing, the.
restaurants, the way everything is set. up. Perfect. The stadiums are super. nice. Like it it is nice in here. Of. course, the field and everything, but. where you can sit and stuff like that. I. don't think you're allowed to kick a. goal kick within the box. I I mean, we. got penalty. We got a penalty for it. almost in the first game. A warning. They're letting them do it. I mean, what. rules are rules now? They know neither. one of these teams is probably going to. win the tournament. So, I think they're. just kind of letting them run. You want. to talk about rules real quick? Let's. talk about a pitcher having a team that. doesn't play by the rules. If you're a.
great pitcher and you damn near shut out. the other team and you pitch the whole. [ __ ] game, you deserve to win. That's. the rules. Yeah, those are the rules. That's what baseball is founded upon. Yeah, the rules have been broken. multiple times here for Paul SK. Ty, what the hell is going on here? How does. this happen? We've talked about this ad. nauseium. Okay, this guy is a. generational talent and uh for whatever. reason, the Pirates this off season when. you look at kind of the makeup of their. division, they had an unbelievable.
pitching staff. If you if they would. have went out and just spent a little. bit of money on offense, just a little. bit. Just somebody that can hit. Exactly. Just a couple. How many people. do you need that can actually hit? Two. people? Three people? Well, that's the. thing is like they're an MLB baseball. team, so everyone can hit. But you need. a guy who really can hit, who can drive. runners in when people are on base. Like. they just And now I I haven't looked. recently. Diggs might be able to uh. speak to this a little bit, you know, better, but like maybe a month and a. half ago, you looked at the Pirates uh.
opening the their roster, their their. starting nine. They had like seven guys. batting at like 205 or below, which is. just like it's Bush League. That's not. that's not Major League Baseball. So you. got a guy like Paul Skins who goes out. and throws eight innings, gives up three. hits, one run, like you win that game 99. times out of 100 or 95 times out of 98. now. Yeah, exactly. Uh and this has. happened to him multiple times, several. times this year. He's like the first. pitcher since, you know, like the 1900s.
or or whenever it's 1901 uh to have it. happen twice in a season. So it's like. that's a long time ago. Exactly. So like. what more can this guy do? This guy. can't do anything else. 1901. That is so long ago. They have like four. pitchers in the top 25 of RA. So it's. Yeah, it's I mean it's really all about. the bats. They have guys that can hit. Cut hits, O'Neal Cruz hits, rand like. but they never it's never all at the. same time. Like I think they lead the. league in runners left in scoring. position which you cannot do in.
baseball. Um it it's sad cuz it's. basically just you know another year. wasted of his career. A lot of people. talking about why are we talking about. baseball? MLB viewership up 10%. That is. across all platforms. How about that? Every network it's on. Fox, ESPN, I. assume whatever digital stuff they're. doing, it's up. Show Otani mear playing. well. Aaron Judge me star playing well. Paul Sch me star. Playing well and. losing. So it doesn't really count. First to win. 20 or lose 25 games. Good for baseball.
though. Yeah, legit. I think it's a. great sport. Whenever your stars play. well and whenever you deliver a product. that is watchable, you can have success. If your stars don't play well, nobody. cares. Like a lot of people say like, "Why do you only talk about this guy or. this guy's this guy?" It's like, "Well, that's the only people that really. matter." And if they're playing well, everybody will watch the whole damn. league. Baseball's that way. We'll. continue here from Carrie. We'll be back. tomorrow. Be a friend. Tell a friend. something nice. It might change their. life. We continue. All right. Good. little salute there as we Now we're just.
on digital YouTube, ESPN Plus, Disney. Plus, Tik Tok Live probably, unless they. banned us, which seemingly happens every. other day. Mhm. We get kicked off of. there. Mhm. But the baseball stars. playing well is a big deal. That's the. most important part of the entire thing. cuz if you had nobody's playing great, it's great. And those nobodyies become. stars, I agree. But the people that are. your current superstars, if they are. playing well, people will be more. interested. And uh Aaron Judge and Show. are holding that they'll [ __ ] down for. baseball. Yeah, absolutely. And you have. teams in massive markets. You know,
obviously we had Yankees Dodgers in the. World Series last year. They're two of. the best teams in baseball this year. You have a team like the Cubs who it has. a rabid fan base, not just in the. Midwest, but everywhere. Like they're. unbelievable. But yeah, it comes down to. that. You have two generational talents. in Aaron Judge and Show Otani and. they're both having, you know, career. years up to this point. And then even, you know, a guy like Jack Kagleone who. we talked with uh Jet Passen about like. that kind of next star that's coming up.
who can take a team like the Royals who. is in a small market who is is good but. you know like they're really not getting. the national spotlight. When you get a. guy like that and you put him in the. same conversation as a guy like a Judge. or an Otani like it's great for. baseball. So they're they're in a good. spot. Judge Otani or Bo Jackson. This. Jack Kaggleon Kaggleon Kaggleon Kaggleon. Kaggleon. Yep. Jackie Kegleon. See from. Florida.
His first Rose player since Bo Jackson. to debut in the same year you get. drafted. I mean, you talk about being in. the same conversation as Aaron Judge. Show. You're in a conversation with Bo. Jackson as well. That's good for. baseball. Hopefully he lives up to the. hype. Once again, star has to play well. I assume he will. Yeah, absolutely. And. this is super rare. It is in baseball. You know, you see it with pitchers a. little bit more cuz those guys kind of. dictate the game. And like a guy like. SK, if you're throwing 100 plus miles an. hour, like you're probably ready to go.
to the majors and pitch against major. league hitting and then you'll kind of. just figure it out over the course of a. season or, you know, something like. that. They talk about hitting, how it's. like the jump from being a great college. hitter to even go to the minor leagues. where you have all these guys who. whether they're hurt and they're down, you know, for a double A team or a AAA. team, like the jump in competition is. just so extreme. And you look at his. numbers, what he's done in double A and. triple A, he's dominated every every. jump up that he's he's been at. So yeah, we'll see if he can do it with the big.
league club and I think most people. assume that he's, you know, he's not. going to get sent back down right away. He's going to be here to stay, which is. huge. Just had some hot beer over here. Bad beer. Nothing better. That was. tough. Tough. Couple things better. Finished mine. It was piping. Oh my god. I I was yin talking about Jack Kegle. I. think he's going to do great things for. baseball. I think baseball is going to. continue to do great things. I think my. favorite thing that we have not talked. about yet is. uh is the fact that Saquon Barkley was.
strapped up to wire. Mhm. Are we doing. another song? Yes. Oh, what happened? There's a moment of silence. I don't. know. I see people sitting down. Real. quiet. Just halftime. Okay. No moment of. silence. Can be too careful. I didn't think we. didn't wiener whistle or whatever. Good.
job. like to be an Oscar winner. We're. just trying to pay our. respective ready. We were ready. It was. uncomfortably quiet. Wasn't it? And it came after an. announcement. I couldn't tell. They did. These two guys are standing with a hand. on their chest, too, as it all. Yeah. So. was I. Yeah, me too. Took a hat off, took off. Saquon Barkley, though, was. shooting for the Madden cover and they. had him wired up. He was like he was a. stunt action movie star jumping up over.
an actor who ran under him no less than. 50 to 60 times. Him getting used to. coming back down to earth was obviously. something. But Saquon Barkley getting. recognized for this filthy disgusting so. creative innovative and dumbass play is. a beautiful thing but I like that he. even tried it. We need more of that. Yeah, this move kind of captured. everybody whether you were a fan of. football or not. you never see. And Saquon Barkley, he's.
a he's a special special talent. Had an. MVP caliber year all the way to the. Super Bowl run. But everybody will. remember this moment. LeBron when he. came on, he pointed out the point that. he had on his shoes, his cleats that we. didn't even know at the time. So just. phenomenal moment and I love that it. made it to the cover of of Matt. Now. it's truly an iconic moment everyone. would always remember. Now the moment. that when I first saw this video, I saw. a lot of people thought, you know, he. wasn't strapped up. I was like, "Oh my. god, this guy's hops. Levitating a lot. of people." But um I'm I'm I'm.
interested in how many times he had to. actually jump up and land at 200 photo. shoot. Yeah. They might have had it the. first or second time, but we need to do. it for two to three more hours. Four. more hours. Run these hours. Was this. the actual defender? Yeah. Yeah, that. was him. Yep. Do a show up for that. Yeah. I bet I bet they paid him pretty. well. Okay. I would I would have said no. and then they throw you throw you a. number and say, "Was it actually him?" I. don't know. No, it wasn't. No. Yeah. Okay. All right. Because I think AJ did. not know if it I did not assume he. might. Okay, good. Yeah. I don't I don't.
helmet on him. Oh, yeah. It's just black. helmet. Yep. Mhm. During mini camp, we. saw Travis Hunter catching those balls. So, if you go to Madden cover to get. jumped over, you're probably getting. cut. That's my assumption. I don't know. Good. point. Maybe not. My assumption PA. should have. All right, let's get the. hell out of here. We got a game at 6:30. Conca SC. We take on Athletic Real. Athletico. Athletico Miami Athletico. Florida. Something like that. Athletico.
Nailed it. 6:30 on ESPNU and ESPN Plus. ESPNU. And ESPN Plus. You're on the U. I. didn't know it was on the U. You guys. are on the U tonight. That's right. Oh, let's be had a couple beers here in the. afternoon. Maybe wrap up tonight. Maybe. put the boots out. Maybe have a couple. more. Getting the boots out. a swig. loop. No, I got a lower body and an. upper body. We all know that. Yeah. And. I got a lung brain thing going on. Very. serious. Yeah. My lungs blow up when my. brains think I'm tired. Tease and peace.
So, I can't run far enough. I know you. do have an upper and a lower and a and a. lung brain thing. Is it tough standing. over there? No. No, not at all. No, it was pretty good. How about Jeff Cameron? Did it seem like. he was I think we I think we had a good. time. I genuinely think we had a good. cuz we were trying to figure out cuz we. had the possession for so long. It was. like legitimate conversation about like. how do we break it? Started having like. hockey combos like or basketball. conversations. Need somebody to drive, drag somebody out and then bang, we take. advantage of. So that's what we were.
trying to figure it out. And so this. crew over here really looks good. Boys, they're doing a lot. Boys, you look. good. I don't think that's the way to. get to them. Where they at, Foxy? They were on the. camera. Not down there. They're talking. about be Yeah, he's tied them out. behind. They're on the camera. Boom. Back shot. Oh, they're gone now. You. bullied them out. Y Foxy bullied them. out. There they are. There they are. There's the boys. Boys, good pipes. You've been working on the arms. Is that. Robo? Yeah. Concert.
Robo would dummy those two. Moving. merch. Amen. 6:30 Real Athletico. Cannot wait to see the boys in our. second game. We are currently. undefeated. Yes. Will that continue? I. think so. A lot of people asking if I'm. going to play. Uh, I don't know why I. should take any minutes away from. anybody on our team. With that being. said, I'll be ready always, just in. case. I need to see Foss put one in the. net. Yes, Foss got on the field, ran.
hard, fouled somebody, great defensive. play, knocked one out of bounds. Foss. played hard. He played confident, too, which I like. Physical. He was physical. Looks great. Boom. If Foss is in scoring. position, Black Boots will find him. Always does. That's a Mario does. Yeah, that's a Mario. Look at Fosso with a. zoom in. Looks strapped. Need need to. put one in there. Just be on the field. when Led Zeppelin's out there. And he'll make it rain. It's not his. name. Manny. Sure. Zuma. Yeah, but he's Zeppelin. Led.
Zeppelin. Joey Plant. Robert Page. Sneaky Fox. Sneaky Fox taking on La. Mexicana Express right now. I assume you. can find this on YouTube. Yes. TST's. YouTube. We'll continue to follow along. We're going to watch all these games. Have a good time here in Carrie cuz it. is beautiful here. We'll be back here. tomorrow. I think Johnny Damon's going. to be on the show tomorrow. You know who else is on the show. tomorrow? Who? Wayne Gretzky. What? The. great one. Wayne Gretzky. Wayne Gretzky. is on the show tomorrow. He if they. existed, he would have beat the [ __ ] out. of the Caniacs, too. Yes.
Well said, Tony. There's no reason for. that. You know who else on the show. tomorrow? Who doing a lot of soccer. talk? Clint Dempsey. Oh wow. Clint. Dempsey, Wayneo, Johnny Damon. We're. going to have a great day here from. Carrie and hopefully Conca is undefeated. at 2 and 0. Be a friend. Tell a friend. something nice. It might change your. life. We're in this thing together. 6:30. ESPNU. Conc game. Team on me. Team on. three. 1 2 3. Goodbye.
