For real? Oh no. Let's go. [ __ ] that THING.
of age. today. The running.
>> in Berkeley, California. >> You got it. This one's for free. AJ Hawk, $5,000.
HEY, HEY, HEY.
You make me want you put my hands up. My. hands up all again now.
USA. USA. USA. Come on in.
Time. A.
The following program is a collection of. stooges talking about happenings in the.
sports world. It is meant to be comedic, informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss, or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how Cubans is the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. Hey, let's go. >> This show sticks and the fact that you.
listen, we are very, very thankful for. the line with a gorgeous assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers. You pick. >> damn it. >> Your friend, tell a friend something. nice could change their life. sports. >> Hello, beautiful people and welcome to. another magical overreaction Monday, November 2nd, 2026. This sports program.
begins right now. FOOTBALL. IS ABSURD. And AJ, we just wrapped up. week eight of the NFL season already. That's AJ Hawk. It's an honor to be. alongside you on this glorious. overreaction Monday, AJ. football. continues to deliver and this Sunday was. jam-packed with electricity, comebacks, close games, and magic. I think the NFL. is throwing what we like to say, heat, a. JHawk. >> Yeah, I would say it is. And I think.
like we I say every week on here, it's. very unpredictable. I think you never. really know what's going to happen week. in and week out, but there are a couple. teams I feel like might be uh kind of. solidifying what their identity might. be. >> Big conversation this week is going to. be who's great at football, you know, because the CFP has their first rankings. coming out tomorrow night. Which college. team is great? There's a bunch of good. teams. Who's great? Is anybody great? How many teams in the Big 10 are good. now that Ohio State. >> real shame? >> And what's your AD doing? What's going. on with the AD and Lincoln Riley after.
the game? They do. We know what happened. after. >> Emotions run high after games. I get I. give both sides I give them some leeway. after a game. Whether you win or lose, emotions run high. I get it. I. understand it. >> Yeah. I like the competitors, you know. I like the competitors, the Gladiators. in the moment. AD of course and like the. head coach. Yeah. I like that. I like. that. That's the way. >> people that love their team. People that. love the team. >> Exactly. I love sports so much that that. can happen and everybody's like, "Yeah, it happened. Let's just keep it moving. Everything's all right. Let's do that.". And we should. But in college football,
we have no idea. Like we have no idea. Miami obviously undefeated, phenomenal. team. North Carolina just puts up over. 35 points against. So it's like, are. they a team that's going to win a. championship? I think we have a lot of. question marks there. And then in the. NFL, we have no idea. We know a couple. teams that are absolute shite, though. Let's go to the toxic table at Boston. Connor and at Ty Schmidt con man. Patriots not shite at all but boy I. thought against the Dolphins with how. that thing started the Patriots might. have found themselves in the shite. division instead second half explosion.
Drake May is exactly who we thought he. was going to be con man. >> Yeah exactly Drake May just put on the. Superman cape if you will and you know. this deep ball to Kyle Williams kind of. got it going in the second half. It was. one of those weird games, you know, division games to start are odd because, you know, you're so familiar with each. other, but pouring down rain from start. to finish. They're worried this game. might take seven hours. That play right. there from Drake May, the fake option. pitch, I mean, that was just euphoric to. watch something like that, to have a. quarterback that you root for, having. that ability to kind of escape and be.
mobile and score touchdowns and then. boom, pop Douglas. I mean, the Patriots. were without AJ Brown, Romeo Dobs, Mack, uh, Hollands, who's wide receiver three, and then Hunter Henry, who's Drake May's. basically favorite target, got hurt in. the first half. So, they were depleted. and then they had guys stepping up. It. was a wonderful win, especially down. there in Miami where it's always. difficult to play for the Patriots. Yeah, I thought it was going to be. another problematic AFC East pro uh. South Florida issue for the New England.
Patriots. But the Patriots do what the. Patriots have done, I guess, which is. just never lose back-to-back games with. Mike Vrabel in town. It's absurd. The. Patriot way is one of resiliency, grit, and Vel's able to get it back in there. McDaniels and Drake May being able to. turn on the switch after a couple weeks. of being ass is obviously a beautiful. thing. Congratulations to the mass holes. and the people who support the New. England Patriots because uh I don't. think you guys are going to suck for the. next 20 years. I mean, Drake May I. legitimately Connor, how old is Drake. May? >> Drake May is 24 years old. And just to.
piggyback off your point, uh Christian. Gonzalez, who's, you know, cornerback. one, top three, if not one, he's about. 25 years old as well. >> And how old is Aaron Rogers who's. playing pretty good right now? >> Uh he's 42. So yeah, by the time Drake. May's 42, that might be the new 30. >> That's 18 years from now. So the next. two decades, we got to worry about these. guys and this guy in particular, Drake. May leading the New England Patriots. That's just one of the teams. I just. mentioned Aaron Rogers. Let's go to one.
half of the Hammer. >> Cowboys AP Tone. Hey, >> hey, >> good for you guys, man. >> Wow. >> Happy for you, bro. I uh that had to. feel pretty good watching that thing. unfold there. and Aaron Rogers. I. watched him walk into the stadium and it. was uh next to the Acer sign and it just. felt like he was uh so comfortable being. a Pittsburgh Steeler and you know. obviously his name is going to ring. synonymous with the Green Bay Packers. and the New York Jets uh chapter of his.
career is going to be talked about. because how loud it was and he's going. to be a first ballot hall of famer and. everything like that. feels like he's. got a lot of pride in being a Pittsburgh. Steeler and I know this is his last. goound, but it feels like everything. that's kind of around him. He got. introduced last obviously he's the. quarterback that's going to happen. Place went crazy for him. Offense looks. good. DK Metaf can't really do what uh. we thought DK Metaf was going to do. Let's assume that turns on or they get. aggressive at the trade deadline. But. with the way the defense operates, which. yesterday they were hunting everywhere, and with Aaron Rogers in this offense, having some explosivity, having a 350.
pounder who's able to move in space and. not get tackled like this and kind of. tiptoe ballet down the sideline, it's. like Dow's a stud. Jaylen Warren can get. it done. Booth's having his best year. Once you guys find a deep threat, it's. like your offense is going to be. complete. Your offensive line was on. AQ's top five last week. I mean, is this. the year for the Pittsburgh Steelers? I. saw the quote tweet that you put out. about when you've had this type of. success this early in the season in the.
past and what happens. But Tone, here we. go. >> Steelers, here we go. Here we go. Is Pittsburgh. going to the Super Bowl? Here we go. It's really those questions right now, is it not, Tone? >> Yeah, I'm really starting to get that. feeling. uh what you mentioned there, the quote tweet, uh starting 6 and2, they've won the Super Bowl three times. after starting 6 and2. So 50% of the. time that they've won the Super Bowl, they've started 6-2 and they're doing it. the way that like Steelers fans love.
They are running the football. They're. number one in EPA running the football, which I know AJ loves that stat, number. three in yards per rush. Jaylen Warren. is number two in the NFL in yards from. scrimmage. So, they're getting it done. on the ground uh on the offensive side. of the ball. They're blocking. Their. offensive line is young. Their uh oldest. offensive lineman is 27 and they are. loaded with first round picks on the. offensive line. They are finally jelling. and then the defense finally again is. stopping the run. They are you know. number one PFF stopping the run top five. in every other stopping the run.
statistic. The Dline is playing. unbelievable. TJ Watt leads the league. in sacks. So we are running the. football. We are stopping the run and. then taking shots when we need to. And. yes DK had a had a drop on a on a deep. one yesterday. We need to figure that. out. You know we're doing goal line. fades with DK. That hasn't worked a ton. there. I don't know why we're obsessed. with that. But once we get that figured. out, I am uh I am believing, brother. >> As you should because it looks a lot. like the same on the defensive side and. DK has got to get that figured out. obviously and we assume he will. >> Yeah, he will. He will. He will. He.
will. >> We've seen him by week. Yeah. Mike DK by. week. >> Yeah. He's DK Mechaf. We we assume he'll. be able to figure out how to catch a. ball. But on defensive side, and. obviously a lot of them were super. motivated because of what Verse was. saying last week, but oh my steel. curtain is back. Eight sacks verse the. Browns. AJ, that is exactly what the. Pittsburgh Steelers have always been. whenever they're at their absolute best. The boys were hunting yesterday, AJ. Hall. >> Yeah, it feels like they were playing. with a little extra motivation. I know.
Verse, what his comments can do that, too. And it is funny to think of. sometimes like, hey, these guys getting. paid all this money. We know what's on. the line every single day. But like. couple comments from the other team in a. heated rivalry, it can have an impact on. a game at times. I think we saw that. happen here with the Steelers, Browns. I. think it's just cool to see like a real. deal NFL rivalry play out. And I think. the Pittsburgh uh Cleveland rivalry is. is alive and well and will continue to. go for for a long time. >> Yeah. And Mike McCarthy, all this guy. does is win. Isn't it crazy? I I mean,
you you go back to the Dallas Cowboys, which we're going to talk about here in. a second. >> Oh, man. Man, >> heartbreaking. It's getting loud out. there. Yeah. I mean, it's getting loud. Remember, they were running sprints on. their own accord. >> Mhm. >> They were in camp. Remember, all we did. was talk about how the Cowboys were. dominating everybody in training camp. >> But all Mike McCarthy did is win. Green. Bay, he would win. D with the Dallas. Cowboys. He'd win. Now, the playoff. success, not as much as everybody had. wanted, but the guy could win games. He's gone immediately into a culture.
that was very stale and stagnant. Mike. Tomlin had done an incredible job. Never. a losing season. We love him on. television, too. He is fantastic in what. he's doing right now. We appreciate him. contributing so much, but it felt like. that building was running the same pace. for like a decade. Here, this is what. we're doing. This is what we're doing. We're going to inevitably not and we're. going to falter. We're going to make it. to the playoffs. We're going to get. blown out. Like, there's just so many. different uh factors that go into being. able to get to a Super Bowl. A fresh. mindset in a building can certainly. help. And Mike McCarthy, for whatever.
reason, I don't know if it's because. he's uh he sounds the way he sounds with. the interaction, because he looks the. way he looks, because the history he has. with the amount of people he's worked. with, he gets into buildings and he. wins. He he literally just wins. And I. love to see that for him, especially in. his hometown. And then for Aaron AJ, going into uh his his final season, he. was getting ice cream with the boys. Obviously, we saw training camp. They. were incredibly tight. It feels like he. loves where he's at right now. You would. know a lot better than us. Obviously, you're closer to him than any of us. would be or anybody that's on a.
microphone, but I think he loves where. he's at right now. And I think that can. do a lot for Aaron Rogers, especially as. he tries to ride off into the sunset. here. >> No question. I think with like we all. know like with age brings perspective on. things. You look at things a little. differently when you're 40 than you did. when you were 25. And I just know I. spent nine years with the Green Bay. Packers. And Aaron, he got there a year. before I did. And from the jump, like I. I was not wellversed on the Pittsburgh. culture and everything, all the the. Yinser speak and everything. I had. friends from Pittsburgh and all that, but I became aware of it because of Mike.
McCarthy and because of how Aaron would. kind of uh I guess accentuate it and. anything that Mike would say with his. Pittsburgh accent or telling stories. about when he's driving down the road. with his dad back in the day at the bar, coming home from the bar that they. managed or whatever, all those things, Aaron would make a bigger deal than they. actually were. And it was I think he uh. he has like a a reverence for everything. that Pittsburgh is. And I think it's. cool that he's there and he's he's. winning games because he feels the love. from the fans as well. Pittsburgh. Steelers saying we are still the. Steelers and they love the city and I.
like the fact that they're trying to. bring this rivalry with the Browns all. the way back to a fever pitch. The city. also loves that. You pound the Browns at. home, there's always going to be a. celebration in Pittsburgh. Now, let's go. to a place that's celebrating. Are the. Arizona Cardinals for real? Garner Mchu sitting on that bench the. last couple weeks. You know, at the. beginning of the season, they're worried. about Jacobe Brassett's steel. Obviously, we all have massive amounts. of respect for Jacobe Brassette. We. appreciate Jacobe Brassette. Garder Mchu. made the Pro Bowl and almost won the AFC.
South for the Indianapolis Colts like. three years ago. Okay. Gardner Mchu is. this incredible story, this incredible. football lore, how he operates, how he. acts, how his brain works, how he. dresses, you name it. Gardenner Mchu is. a uh he's a folklore. I mean, that is. literally what he is in the football. world. But he knows your offense. He can. execute every play you need and the boys. always rally around him. And Al Jir's an. absolute stud. Obviously the Jeremiah. love injuries and injuries are going to. be something that we have to monitor for. his entire career as a running back. We. hope he can stay because he's explosive.
and magnetic. But Gardenner Mchu being. the guy for Mike Laflur to pull off and. do something that was. 147 and1 in the past in situations 2717. there just above the twominute warning. there. Dallas Cowboys are up against the. lowly Arizona Cardinals and they come. back and win that. Are the Cardinals. going to make the playoffs and are the. Cowboys in a full fire sale? I I mean it. is an absurd outcome. A magical game and.
to do this in Jerry world I think just. adds to the incredible story of. Gardenner Mchu AJ. >> Yeah. And also like they continue to. show Jerry during when all the things. start to collapse and bad things happen. to the Dallas Cowboys. You're showing. Jerry. Now I'm not sure there's. obviously there's a clip of him, you. know, jumping out of the suite from a. couple weeks ago that keeps getting. recycled out there. Now we we're pretty. sure that's. >> that was not real. >> Yeah, that was not ever real, right? Obviously that'll continue to go on if. it if it was real and he survived. Good. Credit to you Jarrett. It's amazing. But. uh yeah, I just think Gardner Mchu like.
they even mentioned on the broadcast. like the the the magic that Gardner Mchu. can bring and like you saw it all just. like kept building and building then all. of a sudden the Cowboys have the the. door kind of opened up when you missed. an extra point that would have put them. up up one point like okay here we go. Cowboys let's do this and then boom. Cardinals are too much and they still. find a way to get a win. huge story and. there's top five headlines that we need. to cover. But before that, I need to. show you where I am. I'm here at Lumen. Field in Seattle, Washington. This place. is gorgeous. You look at that building.
right there. It was literally created. for sand right off the Puet Sand. Also. home of the Seattle Saunders, Seattle. Seahawks, home of the 12th. Man, this is. a beautiful, beautiful piece of. architecture. You know, whenever you. talk about homefield advantage, you can. wonder what does that mean? Does that. mean the guys get to stay in a hotel? Does that mean their home fans are there. so they don't get chirped as much? No. It means they built this place to be. loud straight up. Then they put roofs on. top of this thing. Okay. So the noise.
goes. so one yell is three yells. I've only. had a chance to experience it one time. Uh I got invited out here by Herby when. we had a college uh game day out on the. West Coast and his Thursday night crew. was here. So I got to sit in the booth. with him and Al Michaels. That was an. experience. It was awesome watching Al. Michaels work. They get steak at. halftime. >> Ooh. >> I mean, it was first class. But what you. realize is this place is built to be. loud. You hear a yell bouncing off of. your booth and then onto the other side.
So honored to be here. Pumped to be. here. And it's a huge one here tonight. as the Bears come to town. I've seen. some Bears fans roaming around. Obviously, this is incredibly far away. from the Midwest, but Seahawks favored. by three. Sam Darnold, I think he's got. his running backs back. Caleb Williams. obviously doing something special with. the Chicago Bears team. Is this the year. for them to go ahead and plant their. flag as being all the way back and being. the real Chicago Bears and maybe even. go win a Super Bowl? There's a chance. tonight tells a lot of stories. This is.
week eight of the NFL season. It wraps. up tonight here in Lumen Field. Monday. night countdown starts at 6. AJ, let's. get to our top five headlines coming out. of NFL Sunday, shall we, pal? >> Let's do this. >> Top five. Top five. Top five. Top five. Driven by Ram Truck. AJ, you put your uh. foot on a gas pedal of a Ram truck. What's it sound like? Do you know? >> We got AJ to do it. Is that the first. time? >> I do like that. That's a little touch I. from watching up in the attic at home. when you guys started this. I do like. the ram ram ram ram situation. >> Thank you, >> Ty and Connor. I think that's the first. time.
out the first time, but you know what? No better time than the present. I'm. glad that he's finally on board. >> Ty, how about AJ Hop and also you having. your voice? I'm excited to hear that out. of you, John. Congrats. >> You bet. That's just a muscle. That's. just a muscle you got to, you know, concentrate. It was a little rough. Saturday morning, but we're ready to go. We're ready to go. >> Hey, hopefully Heavenly Hulk will make. some more visits, not just on Halloween, to build up that muscle. But let's get. to our top five headlines coming out of. NFL week 8 Sunday driven by Ram. Uh. yeah, we're still pounding the rock. AJ.
teams that are pounding the ball really. well, they're winning games. And don't. even get us started with the Tampa Bay. Rushers. Tampa Bay completed no passes. None. zero zilch beat the Atlanta. Falcons in 2026. That is an absurd. thing. Bucky Irvin, he obviously goes. crazy. They have two guys that rush for. over 130 yards, 300 plus yards on the. ground. Don't need a completion. And I. think this is indicative. Now, obviously. the weather was terrible. We remember. the game of the Patriots and the Bills a. couple years back where it was so windy.
and there was like six pass attempts. between the two of them. So, the rain. might have caused this to begin with, but this is two weeks in a row now where. Baker has like four combined. completions, 60 yards of uh uh passing. in two weeks, and they're 2 and 0. I had. no idea this was possible in modern NFL. Weather plays a huge factor in this. Penn throws 100 interceptions. Okay, 100. interceptions. And Anelone is. everywhere. Okay, I had no idea Analone. is still absolutely everywhere. But the.
year of pounding the rock continues and. it's never been more evident than right. down there in Tampa Bay back-to-back. weeks. Is this what it's going to be. throughout are these people going to be. able to remain healthy, AJ? That that's. the big question. Whenever you're. pounding the rock, there's a lot of. collisions. There's a lot of bodies, but. it feels like if you can run the ball, you are going to win the game. That is. just the facts. There's a graphic that. we have of about how much teams outrush. their opponent. Boom. 225 yards more. than the Falcons. 166 more yards than a.
Cleveland Browns rushing to get the. Pittsburgh Steelers. 149 more rush yards. than Kevin Okcono and the Vikings. Look. out for maybe a running back trade there. to get that thing uh uh kind of jump. started and maybe a quarterback trade. there as well. What do they got going on. in Minnesota? Not 100% sure. They lose. their first game. They get outrushed by. a ton. Maybe just running it right. through Brian Flores's blitz is the. right play. And then the Cardinals, they. beat the Cowboys uh in overtime. Could. have won at the end if an extra point's. made. They out rush him by 109 yards. AJ, this feels like what you got to do.
in 2026. And I think there's some people. finding that secret sauce and those. people are the ones that are in the. Super Bowl combo right now. >> Yeah. Those are the te the the teams. that have a chance to win week in and. week out. I think when you can. consistently run the ball, what have. what have we talked about the last two, three, four, five years. They say, "Oh, these these defenses want to put a cap. on the defense and you don't want or the. offense, they don't want you to be able. to beat them over the top to beat them. deep." And so they're playing too high. safeties or whatever. And I've said from. day one, we've talked about on the show. a million times, if a team wants to play.
cover two, you got to run them out of. it. You have to be able to run the ball. to get them to force them to bring one. of those safeties down in the box to. help with the run. But I think this may. be a little bit of reaction to that and. what teams are doing. But also, I think. the scheme like these all the weird. orbit motions, all this stuff's getting. defensive to think to blink to just not. be full downhill attacking the run. just. making you at the last second something. crossed your eye and you realize, oh, now I I did have the A gap, now I got. the opposite B gap because of everything. and all the motion, everything going on.
behind the line of scrimmage. So, I just. think it's it's the evolution of. football. Like, you see what happens in. this here, we had Caleb DS. >> Jeez, O Pete. I mean, you love linemen. like that. I give Caleb Caleb credit for. for getting back up after the first one. cuz this is uh this a it's a physical. game. Physical league, man. Like, he. doesn't even miss a beat though after he. knocks it down twice. That's the thing. Like when you have offensive linemen. that are willing to go 40 yards. downfield and knock guys down twice in. one play, then yeah, you're going to. have a good chance. >> blocking downfield here. >> M. Yeah. Everybody bought in that Mike.
Lafleur has got to be so pumped about. the culture that he's put in there. And. you know, this this Cardinals team over. the last couple years, there's been. numerous times where we've come in and. say, you know what, this Cardinals team. fights, man. They fight. They fight. Now. with Lafleur, I think Laflur has told us. what he's he's happy for like 20 minutes. after a win that he's miserable for the. rest of time. He seems like he's one of. those crazy psycho head coaches. They. got one of the best tight ends to exist. in Trey McBride. He loves talking [ __ ]. too, which I appreciate. Gardner Mchu. might be the perfect guy for this year.
for the Arizona Cardinals. Obviously, we. hope everything's okay with everybody. else there. The Cardinals were a. seven-point underdog. Their third win. this season as an underdog of seven plus. points. Week six at the Rams, weeks one. at Chargers. Now, no other team has more. than one such win this season. And the. Cardinals are the first team in the. Super Bowl era since 1966, AJ, to have. three road wins as seven-point underdog. within the first eight games of the. season. Hey, these dogs will fight over. there. These dogs will fight. We. wondered what the NFC West was going to. look like and who was going to be in. there and who wasn't. Cardinals are.
becoming a team. And you're talking. about those offensive linemen running. down the field and shoving people. >> It's like that's why these big O linemen. that retire and get on microphones are. like, you don't think that's a talent? >> You don't think that's a skill right. there? We Caleb DS we all have massive. respect for the athleticism for him. Yeah. I'm running full speed. Probably. what 18 miles an hour. 17 18 miles an. hour there. >> Yeah. 18 and a half probably. >> Probably 6' what? 5 330. >> Oh yeah. >> Running full speed still. Just go ahead. and let me kick somebody else now. It's. like what what a freak show that guy is.
Not just being able to run that fast, that size, not being able to make. contact, but then just to continue to. stride out and dominate. Good for the. run game. If I were you and I was a. football team trying to rebuild. Okay. >> Mhm. >> I think I want to learn how we run the. ball better. I I think that's what we. want to hear. We're getting into the era. here with the sizes of players on the. defensive side cuz everybody's had to be. able to run side to side and cover.
people deep. We're about to get into. this era pretty good. I think it's all. cyclical. And if you're rebuilding right. now, it might be the perfect time. you. know, might be the perfect time as. opposed to some people that might just. have to transition into a whole new. style. Let's go to the number four. headline here. Access denied. Talking. about the goal line there, mile high. What a stop. I think we all saw the. amount of time left. We all saw Patrick. Mahomes on the sideline. Even Chris. Jones was shown on the sideline right. before the final play smiling. We all. have seen this song and dance before. We've all seen the Mahomes magic. He's.
going to come back and win this game. Broncos, congratulations. You scored too. quick. You scored too quick. You gave. Patrick Mahomes an opportunity. afterwards. Travis Kelce, is he still. play football? Uh, yeah. So, they're. probably going to get down the field. They do. They did. They get all the way. down to the damn goal line. And now. there's a conspiracy, a controversy that. that guy didn't jump off sides and they. just wanted to see the Chiefs lose. >> to the Denver Broncos cuz this is a. pretty crazy. I mean, he did kind of. when they super slow-moed it and they.
did the sky cam. It's like you. definitely see that, >> but boy how many seconds left on the. clock. What's the thing that that's a. close one? >> They don't call that very often. >> That's what I don't think so either. I. mean, you go super slow-mo, you can see. the massive man move a little bit. So, I. can see where Chiefs fans are saying, "Yeah, right. You got to be kidding me. This feels like you're working against. us." But then they have another chance. obviously and he gets sacked. Anytime. you're getting sacked on the final play. of the game, that is uh absolutely.
demoralizing. Now everybody's out on the. Chiefs even though they started the game. or started the season undefeated and. everybody's in on the Denver Broncos. Are you worried about the Patrick. Mahomes Chief squad that this exposed. some things here this particular game or. are we just firm believers in the Denver. Broncos who for a large portion of a lot. of these games we think they look like a. very average team and then Bo Knicks. looks like a very average quarterback. and then at the end of the game they're. in it and Bo Nicks is making plays and.
they're winning these games. They talk. about what's sustainable, what's not. sustainable for a lot of people. It's. like the Denver Broncos continue to just. win games when you have no clue or. optimism that they're going to be able. to do it. Bo Nicks turns into this. incredible quarterback whenever you need. him, whenever he has to make a huge. play. I think that's a trait that people. have to have if they want to have. success. I think the Broncos winning. close games is a good trait to have, but. man, being a Broncos fan is probably. tough. They were booing them in the. halftime, AJ. I know. >> they're booing them in the halftime and. they come back and win this thing. Don't.
you think this is a this could be. something for this the Broncos team if. you to get to the end of this season you. look at like the path they have taken. like you said they were booed multiple. times I feel like offensively especially. this team and all that they have gotten. through the fact they won this game was. huge obviously I think it's one of those. things you can look back on eight weeks. from now and say hey that was a big. moment for our season if they continue. to do well but I think it's like uh you. know it's going to harden them it's. going to make them a callous team all. that they have fought through early in. the year because we all know like all of. this stuff does matter absolutely 100%.
But what truly matters is how you play. the last four, five, six weeks of the. season into the playoffs and if you're. healthy and if you're playing like you. know if you're starting to peak at that. time and I think the Broncos are showing. signs that they are getting better and. better. >> You talk about the game-winning drives. there since 2024 and then you talk about. the fans just I guess it it's hard just. to become a firm believer or a believer. I guess that no matter how much we're. done, no matter what the case is, we're. still in this. we're going to go win it.
And I think that is a a a good. fundamental skill to have. They're doing. it a lot though. ESPN Insight says the. Broncos do it again. They've won 15. straight regular season games that have. been decided by one score. Crazy. Okay. >> NFL games are one-sore games normally. I. mean, there's been a couple blowouts. We've seen it, but yesterday, I mean, yesterday, the amount of comebacks and. close games, couple overtimes. I mean, every game is decided by one score. The. Broncos having this ability, absurd. They came back from down 11 in the. fourth quarter. It's Bo Knicks 13th. career fourth quarter comeback,
including the playoffs, most by any. quarterback in his first three seasons. since starting quarterbacks retracted in. 1950. So, it probably goes back to the. 1800s potentially with what this guy's. pulling off. Ty, are you a bow lever or. what are you thinking this guy's getting. lucky? Like, what what do we need to. take away from this, you think? >> I mean, I think it's tough not to be a. bow lever. Obviously, you watch the. first three quarters of most of these. games and it's not really like that, but. at this point, like the proof is in the. pudding. I mean, he's he's, you know, ahead of Josh Allen there. And we always. talk about this, you know, when we're.
talking about teams year-over-year. The. teams who win a lot of one-score games. the previous year, like the the common. thread is like, hey, typically that kind. of reverses itself. It reverses course. and the next year that team is more. likely to lose half those games. So, the. fact that they've won 15 of those in a. row, like it kind of just is who the. Broncos are. They're very confident in. themselves. I think Shawn Payeyton, you. know, he doesn't flinch in these. moments. Playing at mile high is. definitely um an advantage, too. But. yeah, I mean, at this point, like it.
really doesn't matter what what Bon. Knicks does through the first three. quarters because he has proved so far in. his career that he is going to deliver. in the fourth quarter. So, as long as. they can keep it close, um, you know, like he's going to show up and, you. know, obviously you don't want to play. like this constantly and you don't want. to play like this in the playoffs. But. for right now, like, yeah, it's hard not. to be a believer. The Broncos have won a. franchise record, five straight home. games versus MVP quarterbacks. Okay. Sunday verse Mahomes, Stafford, Allen, Mahomes, Mahomes. So, it's like the guys.
that we all believe in to win, the MVPs, are losing to this Bo Knicks team. >> And it's like. >> Bon Knicks has got a little something to. them, man. And uh I I certainly. appreciate it. And also, you look at the. Broncos schedule. I think they have the. second easiest schedule down the road is. what Hembo sent to us. So, they had a. hard schedule, like maybe the hardest. schedule thus far. And then they have. the second easiest schedule now. Yeah. NFL's hardest schedule, and now they. have the second easiest remaining. schedule as they go down the road. Hard. not to be a a believer out there. Let's.
go to the number three headline coming. out of NFL Sunday. And obviously, this. one has a little bit of a heavy heart in. it as well. Feels like the brand new. lines are back. We had a great MCDC uh. postgame uh conversation with his team. where he says, "Hey, listen, man. That's. how you're going to win some games." You. know, we knew it wasn't going to be. easy. We knew it was going to be muddy. on the offensive side. Defense need just. help us. defense made a lot of people. wonder if Kyler Murray was ever going to. be able to be the quarterback for the. Minnesota Vikings. That's what the.
Detroit Lions defense did. There's just. a few weeks ago we thought the Detroit. Lions defense was maybe actually, and. this was impossible to kind of fathom, but Swiss cheese had made its way onto. an NFL field and it was the Detroit. Lions defense every single week. They. were giving up everything to everybody. all the time. They get some pieces back. now. They turn Kyler into what everybody. thought Kyler was at the end of his. Arizona Cardinals thing. Are the Vikings. now going to trade for a quarterback? That's what the Detroit Lions defense. did. So, congratulations to the Detroit. Lions, man, and to the special teams. Uh, he gave a shout out to Fox and the.
way they covered, man. And then the. kicker, obviously. And then on offense, Jir Gibbs in that second half, outrageous. JMO obviously found in. paint. Jared Goff doing special things. And they get a tough hard fought dub. against an undefeated Vikings team. And. now AJ question I have for you pal is. like Jir Gibbs goes for 150 or whatever. most of it in the second half. >> Is that how you got to take on Flores. who's blitzing what 80 60 80 90% of the. time? You just get got to get through.
the first wave and how easy is that. going to be for other teams to do? Is. this like a blueprint on what to do. against Flores if you will AJ Hawk? >> I mean yeah you could definitely call it. somewhat of a blueprint but the problem. is there's only one Jir Gibbs on the. planet. This guy is special. He is. absolutely special and and what he is. able to do is vision. I mean, you got. Jared Golf believing in trying to get. out front and get a nice block. That's. what you should do. Quarterback tries to. block you, you got to go high and try to. hit him in his chin, obviously, so he. doesn't come in there and try to do that. again. You just can't I should say you. can't let him block you. I guess you got.
to get. >> Okay. Yeah. You like. if you're a linebacker and a wide out. comes and cracks you like your coach and. every other guy in your defense and say. you can't let a receiver block you. I'm. like, well, what if it's a guy that's. 6'4, 260, 240? I guess some of these. like a DK Metaf type guy, that's tough. not to let him block you. But yeah, I. think you can do that sometimes where. you can catch a team if they're all. slanting one way or whatever and they're. blitzing. If you can call the right. running plays, you can take advantage of. that every once in a while where they. will, you know, they'll they'll get. pushed out of their gap or whatever, everything kind of works itself out. But.
I think Flores, that's the thing. He has. answers for that as well. There are run. blitzes where you go maybe your ears. aren't you don't pin your ears back and. get to the quarterback. You know, it's a. run blitz and you're going to try to. figure it out. They also I was when I. was watching it this morning back they. ran. >> so many quick screens the wide receivers. yesterday like that that was a huge part. out they started they started the game. and the Vikings had like four sacks. early and then they just quick screen. the [ __ ] out of him if you do that and. then run. Yeah. Kind of slows the blitz. down a little bit. >> Yeah. And then you can do stuff like. this where they're all eating uh biting.
a little bit and Jared Goff has the. touch throw. We all understand that he. can make everything uh in every throw on. a field. He's special. >> He's underrated by the way. he doesn't. get the respect he deserves. I I we've. said that a little bit, but I I think I. truly believe that with Jared Golf. >> Well, and also Jamir Gibbs says he's a. smartass. I like that. I like that a lot. that Jared Goff operates that way cuz we. thought he was super quiet, maybe. reserved. Turns out he's hilarious. And. he's an absolute spinner of the. football. Uh uh he puts it where it. needs to be and I think he sets up Jir.
Gibbs to be in the right runs as well, which is a gigantic piece of this new. era we're entering into. And now we have. to talk about like the thing that is I. guess everpresent or omniresent if you. will if you want to uh use that in. football that Jack Campbell injury man. super scary. It was in a fourbox for me. Uh I had sound on red zone channel. Scott I thought you had a great day. yesterday and I see the this from the in. the four box and it's like oh man scary.
situation. Don't know what it is. Obviously Hutch getting emotional and. then once we start looking into it a. little bit more it's like man that's. Jack Campbell and it looked like a. routine hit and then just the update. doesn't sound great but this is what's. possible every single play and and I. don't want to go back to it but like. Deamar Hamlin's hit looked very normal. in a football game whenever that. happened. This hit looked like ah that. hit happens maybe 60 times in a in a. football game. It just is a quick. reminder and perspective putter that. this is possible at any moment in this.
sport. And obviously our prayers and. positive vibes and thoughts are with. Jack, his family, the entire Lions. organization. But AJ, that that's the. scary reality of football right there in. a nutshell. >> Super scary. Yeah, that's the thing like. no matter what you do to prepare your. body for it, however, and you can do all. the right things and stuff happens, you. know, like there's it's a a crazy fast. violent game and like you said, this. this hit didn't look out of the norm. compared to some others. But yeah, just. when if you get hit in the right spot, I.
hopefully we get an update on on Jack. here sometime soon that he's going to. he's starting to improve a little bit. But yeah, you can see how much it. affects not only your own team, affects. the other team as well. And Hutch, credit to him for coming out and making. a huge play right after this injury. happened. >> Yeah, it was a fourth and four. immediately after. Hutch comes and just. wrecks it completely. Emotional. emotionally driven from seeing his. friend get carded off like that. They. sent an update last night that he's. resting. We will continue to monitor uh. everything up there. But obviously.
absolutely devastated for Jack Campbell. and just a reminder to everybody what. could happen on a football field at any. moment. Now, away from the Jack Campbell. news, which is catastrophic, and. hopefully that we get a positive update. You know, that has happened in the past. as well. So, we got to keep that. Foxy, you got to be excited about what this. Detroit Lions team just did against the. Vikings. I I mean, they look good, they. look the part, and they remind us of. when the times were great just a few. years back with the Detroit Lions, Foxy.
>> Yeah, you guys absolutely nailed every. aspect of this team. The one I want to. that sticks out to me the most and it's. the most important thing. It's day one. MCDC gritty football is that offensive. line is finally back in the fourth. quarter. Two must-have drives to go up, get a touchdown. We were pounding the. rock when the Vikings knew we were going. to pound the rock. Defense gets a stop. We get the ball back. We got to burn the. clock out. What are we going to do? We're going to run the rock again. We're. going to rely on that offensive line. And it was 10 yards after 10 yards after.
10 yards. That's the biggest sign to me. that this team is all the way back and. it's the biggest sign to me that I can. trust this team deep into the playoffs. It's awesome to see. Here we go. O. line's good. Team's probably going to be. good. Happy for you guys up there in. Detroit. And once again, we are all. praying for Jack Campbell update to be a. positive one. Let's go to the number two. headline, shall we? Coming out of NFL. Sunday, week eight. Who the hell is. going to win Super Bowl? >> Look at that. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 nine teams.
I do believe all in like the same. grouping of likelihood to win the Super. Bowl. Books have no idea. We have no. idea. Look at the Niners. They're a bit. banged up. Josh Allen. We're just going. to bet on Josh Allen. Maybe maybe it is. just betting on Josh Allen who becomes. the all-time leading touchdown score or. thrower for the Buffalo Bills, including. the playoffs. I believe Jim Kelly still. has the regular season record, so he. might be able to get that down the road. but including playoffs, most touchdowns. thrown. And then he has like 80 some.
rushing touchdowns as well. It's he's a. freak. An absolute freak. So maybe. that's the case. Kansas City, we just. saw what happened with the Broncos. there. Do they lose their magic down the. stretch when we all assumed they were. going to come back and win that game. under two minutes left? It's Patrick. Mahomes. They don't get the job done. Kind of a questionable false start. Still a false start call. And then the. Seattle Seahawks. I guess we're watching. tonight. I guess this is uh all eyes on. the Seahawks, the Bears to see who can. showcase that they are a team that you. know is worthy of being crowned Super.
Bowl right now. I think we got a long. road to go. Now, obviously that is a. true statement. There's 10 more weeks of. this thing, but I don't think we know. enough about anybody at this point, AJ, on who can I think we know who's not, but there's a big bowl of teams that. could potentially get to the Super Bowl. >> Yeah, there isn't. I I mean, think of is. there a couple teams off the top of your. head that are not on this list of odds? >> The Packers, the Steelers, uh anyone in. the NFC East, uh you know, who's going. to one of those teams are going to make. a uh playoff. Anyone from the NFC South. is going to make a playoff spot, too.
>> Who on this list do you think is. definitely not going to win the Super. Bowl? >> The Vikings. >> Vikings. Yep. >> Is everyone Is that everyone in We don't. know who's going to be their. quarterback. We have no idea. They could. bring somebody in. >> at this moment in time. But. >> Okay. At this m at this moment in time, it's going to be tough to say Kyler's. going to be able to lead that Vikings. team to a Super Bowl. Is he only going. to get better as the weeks go on? We. haven't seen that, but maybe that will. be the case inevitably. But if they. trade for a Kirk Ko Cousins, not that. they will. Kirk's wellness is fantastic. and he certainly just won a game for the.
Raiders and they have a plan for. Fernando, but maybe Danny Dimes, maybe. Kirk Cousins, maybe M. Jones. Maybe they. get another quarterback in there that. they tried to answer a problem for in. the offseason if they don't see the. progression out of Kyler Murray. But. >> I I just I guess you can't believe in. the Vikings at this point, but the. defense has kept them in so many games. >> Packers I believe in. >> I believe in the Packers. They're not on. here. >> M coming back. >> I believe. >> what's that? Yeah. M coming back. They're only going to get better. >> So I don't know. AJ, it's hard to put.
the money down. Tone, who's the most uh. bet on Tate to win Super Bowl? Do we. know those odds in the San Francisco. 49ers with how banged up they are? Plus. 580 feels crazy, but I guess it's just. because we don't really know about. anybody else. >> I know preseason uh and this is going to. be a shocker. It was the Rams and the. Bills. Those were the two most bet on. the teams to win this Super Bowl. Since. the Rams uh rough start, I don't know. what it is. I don't know what the. current action is. I could find out. I I. will text the guys right now to find out. right now. But it's still in the AFC.
It's the Bills, the Chiefs, the guys. that you normally would uh you know, bet. on and have confidence in. And then it. was the Rams at the beginning and then. the Niners obviously caught a lot of. steam when they started undefeated and. now they're going to be getting healthy. too. So there's going to be a lot more. action coming in on the Niners. >> Yeah. And don't look now. You might want to bet on that team and. do all dude. >> Yeah. Pretty solid. >> I mean now granted we got two guys that. might not be on our team in a couple. weeks doing a circus clown show. >> Okay. But the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Trevor Lawrence. >> Here we go. Uh, he might get traded. He. asked for a trade. Ball's on them. We. traded the ball to them. Um, so I just. It was a tough day yesterday watching. this Colts team. I guess this is what we. should have expected, you know? I guess. is what we should have expected. >> because what what are the ties to any of. these players, I guess, to the city of. Indianapolis and to the Colts. organization, you know, like do they. feel like their ties are to Chris. Ballard? You moved on from Chris. Ballard, so we're all just kind of done. with it. So, we're just gonna get.
absolutely. smacked by the Jacksonville Jaguars. I. mean, Danny Dimes, I mean. >> I mean, we couldn't have expected 42 to7. though, right? >> Good tackling. >> I guess now if we look back on how our. thoughts are about that building as a. whole, as that game's unfolding, I start. thinking to myself, what I thought they. were going to fight. I don't know why I. thought that. Like why why would I think. that? Like the Titans, they trade away.
Jeffrey Simmons by far their best. player. They fight big. They got a they. got a new coach. They got a new stadium. coming. I think they got the Super Bowl. coming their way. They have a lot of I. guess like things to fight for, but it's. like the coach just did not at all. And. Cam Ward maybe played his best game as. as an NFL player yesterday against the. Cincinnati Bengals in a loss. Cincinnati. Bengals or Titans defense turns Joe. Burrow over three times, gets three. picks against him. It's like the Titans.
looked vastly better than the. Indianapolis Colts looked yesterday. And. we got Jonathan Taylor still playing. It's like, hey, if we're thinking about. trading this guy, we don't need him. getting hurt as he carries a lot of. refs, didn't he? Like, why why did that. happen? >> And we're going to lose by 35. Are we. good him going out there just like once. that game gets to 28 zip? I think we. know, right? Don't we? I I I think we. know we're probably not winning this. one. >> But it's like. >> I've never seen. >> I have never seen I mean I was on the.
years where people were thinking that we. were sucking for luck. Okay, I was on. that team when they're like they're. sucking for luck. It's like I wasn't. I. was trying to be good. I was trying to. be good at my job. I didn't want to get. fired. There's a lot of guys but we had. like third stringers, fourth stringers. playing. Like we had a lot of unknown. guys playing in that year and we got. smacked around. It sucked. It was. miserable. We got a lot of starters. playing out here. There was a lot of big. names and money on that football field. yesterday as they were just and we got. nine games left. We got nine more games.
left after that. I I don't. >> That's a bad football team. That is a. bad football team. And I I think the. culture got exposed even more so here in. this particular setting. And then if. you're a Titans fan, I think you should. be proud of what your team did after. that entire thing happened. But the Jags. might be for real. They might be the. best team in the AFC. Or maybe I'm just. thinking that because I saw them just. >> demoralize an Indianapolis Colts squad. yet again, which down in Jacksonville, the Colts have not been able to win. much. So tough stuff. But they just.
killed him. They just absolutely. murdered them, AJ. >> Yeah, it's the old I'm sure you had. coaches say, "Hey, when it rains, it. pours." That's what I thought when I was. watching this Colts game. Like. especially the one that goes right. through his hands, picked six right. before half for to go up 28 nothing at. half. That's what I'm thinking like, all. right. Like sometimes there are days. when it's like seems like nothing can go. right and it just seems to compound on. each other. Like he returns this thing. 90 yards for a touchdown with 18 seconds. to go in the second quarter. That's a. big that's tough going into halftime. like that. That's not a momentum. >> Yeah. 217.
>> The effort on Danny Dimes though. Great. effort on Danny Dimes coming off a. repaired to kill. He's almost got him. >> I will always appreciate Danny Dimes for. what he did for the Indianapolis Colts. last year in week 10. >> No doubt. >> Going into week 10. We're 8 and 10 or 8. and two, sorry, going into week 11 with. the buy. We come back week 12. We have. the worst record since then. Worst. record in the NFL. I think we're what, two and 14 now or whatever it is. We. haven't won a day. We We It's. >> Jackson Colts own the worst record in. the NFL since week 12 last season. Two. and 13 when they lost. They were 8-2.
before that. Think about where we were. to where we've gone and it's only. continuing to go down. But hopefully a. rebuild will be on its way. Jacksonville. Jaguars though might win the Super Bowl. And I don't think anybody's saying that. >> I don't think anybody's Everybody's. mocking the Colts right now, as they. should. Hey, Colts are [ __ ] Colts are. shite. Colts are this. >> People maybe need to say the team in. Jacksonville might be for real cuz just. putting a team of adults away like that. and burying them and embarrassing them. That's abnormal, too. AJ, in the NFL, very much so. >> That's what That's what good teams do. Good teams take care of teams like the.
Colts right now. Trevor Lawrence has 44. touchdowns to 11 interceptions in his. last 17 games. >> Jesus, he's a he's a guy. And Brian. Thomas Jr. scores a touchdown this week. They haven't even really been using him. on the offensive side of the ball. He. gets a touchdown. Everybody gets in the. end zone, I guess, for the Jacksonville. Jaguars against the Indianapolis Colts. He might be getting traded away. They. threw a touchdown to a guy yesterday. that might be getting traded. They have. a plethora of riches down there. Jacksonville Jaguars might be for real. Shout out to Liam Cohen what he's been. able to do. Now, let's get to the number.
one headline. Holy [ __ ]. they're deadline dancing. Seems like. there's a lot of teams that we know at. this exact moment are dancing with the. trade deadline, which comes Tuesday, November 10th at 4 p.m. Eastern. Joining. us now, a senior NFL insider for ESPN. and NFL Network with a little bit more. information on who might be on the road. and who might be. staying home. Ladies and gentlemen, Adam. Sheriff, >> going on guys. Jeff, I have a quick.
question for you, pal. >> Yes. >> If Jonathan Taylor's getting traded, do. we see him ever play for the. Indianapolis Colts game? Because it felt. like at the end of the game yesterday, as we were getting absolutely smacked. and they were going off, he dapped up a. couple of his teammates and said, "Whatever happens happens." Was that the. last time we saw Jonathan Taylor as an. Indianapolis Colt as a 42-7 loss to. Jacksonville, pal? >> I think it's a mistake to make any. declarative statements in a situation. like this, Pat. I think it's a fluid. situation where all options are now on. the table. Whether that means he doesn't. play for them again, whether he means he.
gets traded, whether it means that they. sit down and try to have a talk where. they decide that the best thing to do is. to hold on to I I don't know what. direction this is going to go, but I can. tell you that there'll be a number of. teams calling the Colts, preparing. offers, trying to pry him loose, and the. way that they played yesterday, it would. seem to make sense a week after they. traded away Quinton Nelson and DeForest. Buckner that they would at least listen. If they're going to listen on those. other guys, why would you not listen on. Jonathan Taylor as well? But I think all. options are on the table right now.
>> November 10th is obviously a little bit. of time away. We got 8 days until then. Here is the trade targets that you have. kind of mentioned or we've seen floating. around. Jonathan Taylor prize target I. believe for any team that needs. offensive weaponry. They're saying who? Maybe the Vikings, maybe the Seahawks, maybe the who's all the Bron. Who's all. in on this? Uh uh with Jonathan Taylor, I think you're looking at a group of. teams. Uh the Vikings, the Giants,
the Broncos, Packers have checked in. Like there. there's a lot of teams there and there. could be another team or so that just. decides to check in. Um how that's going. to shake out, I don't know. But those. teams have had contact with the Colts so. far and you have to see what. materializes from there. Josh DS. Um. >> hold on, hold on, hold on. Before we. move on to Josh Hanss, um Jonathan. Taylor, where do you play college. football at? Ty. >> Wisconsin. >> Wisconsin. >> Okay. Hey, you guys are on a nice little.
run right now, eh? You need a you need a. running back, I've heard. Is that right? >> Oh, man. I'd love Jonathan Taylor. Unfortunately, uh I don't know if we're. going to be dealing a first round pick. for him. >> Okay. So, you don't have one, right? Cuz. Micah has this year's correct. Is that. accurate? >> Okay. So, we'll take four picks. >> I think they have only four picks. The. Packers right now. this year. >> We need all all four of the picks this. year and then we need one next year and. then we're going to need a player in. return. Bring Jonathan Taylor back to. Wisconsin. Get the Green Bay Packers. back in the big dance with a guy who. obviously loves your state. I think as.
the time continues to roll on with this. pound the rock era that we're in, Jonathan Taylor's values only going to. go up. And I heard um was it Teddy. Bruski yesterday on your guys NFL. countdown? I didn't know you guys were. taking as many takes as you do on that. Sunday NFL countdown. A lot of takes. I. love it. I love that show yesterday. Uh. I really enjoyed what everybody was. doing. But I think it was uh Teddy. Bruski maybe who said if you're trying. why would you get rid of your good. players if you're trying to get good, you know? And uh that's a very good.
question. I think whenever you state it. that way, but I guess just a reset is. good for everybody. Is that kind of the. thought for a lot of these teams? And. let's go back to the trade deadline. Josh DS could potentially be in talks to. be on the move. Grover Stewart, basically all Indianapolis Colts. But is. that the thought for all these great. players? Is it just a reset for the. culture for the Colts in some of these. other spots? Chefy, I think, Pat, when. you trade when you make the decision to. trade two team captains, two players who. have the type of stature and profile. that Nelson and Buckner did, then I.
think anyone's in play at that point in. time. So, I know teams have been calling. on Josh DS. I know the Colts have asked. for a third round draft pick. We'll see. if they can get it back from anybody. here. Uh third sounds rich, but maybe. the two sides settle in on like a fourth. round pick for Josh DS here in the next. eight days. Jonathan Taylor, like you. said, team has been calling. Grover. Stewart, another player in a similar. category. You want to go through the. list quickly here and uh touch up? >> Sure. >> Khalil Mack, the Chargers have given no.
indication to anybody that they're. willing to trade anybody, but they keep. losing. They haven't won a game yet. So, at some point, if you got a player like. Khalil Mack, if he wants to go on to. somewhere else, um, and you can get a. draft pick back, that would make sense. But, I'm not the GM of the team, I'm not. making the decision, and they have not. given any indication to anybody, uh, that they are open to trading away any. of their players. Bruta Baker, Arizona, like that, that guy's been such a stud. I don't know if Bruta Baker is going to. be traded. I don't think Arizona wants. to move on from a guy who's meant so. much to that franchise, who's such a.
baller. Bruce Hall, here's Bruce Hall is. interesting. because we've mentioned these teams that. potentially have checked in on Jonathan. Taylor all have some level of interest. So, inevitably, if if the Colts decide. that they are going to part ways with. Jonathan Taylor, that means there's. going to be three, four other teams that. don't get him. So, if you don't get. Jonathan Taylor, does Bree Hall become. the next running back trade target for.
the teams that were checking in on a. running back like Jonathan Taylor? Now, earlier today, the Jets head coach Aaron. Glenn said they are not interested in. trading away good players and Bree Hall. is a good player and their plan is to. hold on to him. But again, Brilan Allen. has played very well for the Jets. And. so, if over the course of the next eight. days, there's a team out there that. doesn't get Jonathan Taylor, doesn't it. make sense to then call the Jets to say, "Okay, what would it take to get Reese. Hall?" I'm not telling you they're going.
to trade him. They say they're not going. to, but I'm just telling you that's a. logical call to think that other teams. might be making to the Jets. Brian. Thomas Jr., uh, team's been calling on him. Jacksonville has not been willing to. trade him in the past. You wonder with. Travis Hunter playing a little bit more. at receiver if they might be willing to. do that. Jade Devian Clowney, some teams. have checked in on him with the Houston. Texans and Josh Sweat. I think you know. there have been teams checking in on him. including the Dallas Cowboys but then. Arizona wins yesterday, Dallas loses.
another game and if you're Dallas like. do you feel like trading for a guy like. Josh Swed is going to make a difference. in your defense right now? >> Yeah, and there's a lot to talk about. the Cowboys. Ty will have a question for. you about that here in a couple minutes, but let's continue for the trade. deadline here. There's no quarterbacks. on this particular graphic. Might be a. couple teams though. AJ has a question. for you, Shifty. >> Yeah, Chefy, I'm sure you are locked in. on the quarterback situation. Like, let's say the Ravens or the Vikings. Are. we going to see a team like them going. out and trying to bring a quarterback. in? >> I I think the Ravens have to go out and.
get a quarterback. They have no choice, right? Like Lamar Jackson's out. indefinitely. Tyler Huntley is gonna. miss time with Turfto. So, they're down. to Joe Fernango. Am I I don't if I'm. pronouncing that right. Joe Fanano. >> Fanano. Joe Fanano. The undrafted rookie. free agent who played great in the. preseason uh and who they like. But you. have one quarterback. So, your backup. quarterback right now would be Justice. Hill. That's not going to work. So, you. have to add you have to add a. quarterback. >> who the roster and they play on a short.
week this week, Thursday night against. the Jaguars. So yeah, at some point. they're going to be adding. >> they bring they're saying Baltimore is. pushing for Flaco to come back maybe. Hey, let's do that. >> I I mean I don't think Cincinnati is. going to be interested in trading Joe. Flacco in the division help the team. >> Oh, the Browns said no problem. What do. you mean? >> I I Yeah. Yeah, that's true. A good. point. I I have not heard Joe Flacco's. name in connection to the Ravens. Anything's always possible. Um, but the.
Ravens are going to have to add a. quarterback, period. Like, it's got to. happen. So, they're going to. >> Okay, so Kurt Cousins, Kurt Cousins. probably not on the move. We would. assume Kurt Cousins is not going to be. traded. >> No. Listen, Kirk Cousins, Max C, the. Raiders are 500 in November for the. first time since 2020, I believe it is. Like, they're not looking to trade their. players. They feel like they're building. something. They're winning. Like, they. they like this. They're not looking to. get rid of these guys. Kurt Cousins is. leading the NFL in touchdown passes. They're going to trade that guy. He's a. great example for Fernando Mendoza. They.
want to keep riding him until they fall. out of playoff contention. They want to. try to make the play like no. Kurt. Cousins, I don't see as an option. I. love that. It could be worth a lot. though, you know, cuz we saw the Buffalo. Bills make the playoffs and then get rid. of Tyrod Taylor and move on to a number. one overall pick in Josh Allen. You. know, I'm not saying that the Raiders. are looking to move on to Fernando at. this time, especially with what Kirk has. been able to do with this Raiders team, but Minnesota Vikings might get. desperate. you know, they might. understand that the quarterback position.
is the what they need to potentially go. on a Super Bowl run. >> Here, here's the problem with the. Vikings right now. Like, okay, so they. had Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones in the. building. They both left. They drafted. JJ McCarthy. They traded JJ McCarthy. They went out and signed Kyler Murray. He was supposed to be the solution. Now, we're moving on from Kyler Murray. Like, it I I just don't think it works like. that. Like you just can't keep shuffling. in and out quarterbacks thinking that. the ne next one's going to be an. upgrade. Now I'll say this, they're also.
have lost one game this year. They're. six and one. And I'm not telling you. that this Kyler Murray Minnesota. marriage is slated to last long term or. anything, but I don't know that you're. going to get a quarterback right now. Well, I don't know like. uh that's going to step in and be a. dramatic upgrade over Kyler Murray. But. clearly the offense has some issues. The. offense has some issues right now in. Minnesota. >> Yeah, we only say Kirk Cousins because. he's had success in Minnesota before. Knows the offense and the wellness, you. know, seems like he could be worth a.
lot. We'd love to see Kirk remain a. Raider, though. Let's not get it. twisted. I'm just saying the Vikings. might get desperate as they have. seemingly been with your mention of all. the names that have come through over. the last few years. Now, let's get to. the Cowboys. Speaking of desperation. times, Ty has a question for you, pal. >> Yeah, Chefy. In terms of like trades, you know, we heard Jerry, he was just. dejected yesterday after that brutal. loss. Like, do you think there's a. chance that they take a big swing and. try to trade for someone? You mentioned. Josh Sweat, or are they going to be. sellers potentially? And then on the uh. the flip side too as well, like Shotti.
and Christian Parker, he Jerry said, "Hey, he's not thinking about anything. like that yet." But are we looking at. maybe a potential situation kind of like. Eberloose in Dallas where like if they. don't perform well on Thanksgiving and. they get embarrassed again? Like is. Sheffy or I mean, excuse me, is Shotti. on the hot seat here? >> Chefty is definitely on the hot seat. I'm not so sure. Okay, Chefty's been on. the hot seat for a while here. Uh Shotti. has a chance to salvage his season here, but it's slipping away. Like the.
defense, you talk about them being. buyers, Tai, and they bought Rashawn. Garry, they bought Quinnon Williams, they bought Joey Porter, like they. bought Caleb D. Like, how many more. pieces are we going to add before we. just say it's just not working what. they're doing right now? That Cardinals. offense. >> torched them yesterday. The Cardinals. lost Jeremiah Love early. They lost. Kendrick Bourne. Michael Wilson went out. of the game. They changed quarterbacks.
and went to Gardenner Mchu. The. Cardinals were down to like their. backups and they torched the Dallas. Cowboys for 59. yards. The Cowboys surrendered the. largest lead in franchise history at. home in the second half. Arizona went. through them like it was flag football. and the Cowboys couldn't pick out their. flags. Like it was wild to watch. So. what is the solution? I don't think. trading for Josh Sweat in Arizona is.
going to make a difference. I don't know. what's going to happen, but clearly. there is an issue or issues that they're. going to have to figure out and address. I don't think it's as simple as. acquiring one player as a band-aid and. thinking it's going to be fixed. I don't. think it's as simple as bringing in Mike. Pton to look over Christian Parker's. shoulder. I don't think it's that's like. it's the same story every year with. them. Every year people get excited. Every year we say this could be the. year. And every year we get losses where.
they lose on a Thursday night to a. rookie undrafted free agent quarterback. like Jaylen Daniels in Tampa and then. lose a game yesterday where again in. that spot according to ESPN insights the. Cardinals were a 147 and one by trailing. by 14 plus points in the fourth quarter. and the Cowboys were 69 and0 at home in. that same spot and yet the Cardinals. prevail. Credit to the Cardinal. Like. they went into LA, they beat the. Chargers, they beat the Rams, they beat.
the Cowboys. Good for them. >> Yeah, Mike Lefor is really doing it. You. talk about after halftime stats here. If. we go to 1 147 and one Cowboys had 45. plays for 152 yards, one explosive. Cardinals 39 plays for 331 yards, six. explosives. Welcome to Gardener MU. football. Welcome to Gardener MU. football. But, you know, uh Mike. McCarthy still the coach of the Dallas. Cowboys if the defense can play late, you know, in a season. And now we. thought we had the defense figured out. going into this season. We bring in. Cornell Williams. Remember, we trade.
away Micah cuz one player's good, four. players better. And we need to stop the. damn run. Parker was supposed to be the. guy. Now we got people saying that. people that aren't even here anymore. could probably do a better job calling a. defense. I mean, it is a uh wild thing. in Dallas. And we need to make sure. everybody knows that that video of Jerry. Jones jumping out of the suite's not. real. You could see how that could. potentially happen, especially the 147. and one thing. Let's get to another seat. that might be hot. Con man has a. question for you, Chef Dy.
>> Yeah, Chefy. Uh, obviously you've. mentioned it before today, but the. Chargers are just abysmal. They are an. awful football team. There's seemingly. no hope. Um, and you know, on X right. now, Hortiz is taking a lot of shrapnel. and they are definitely blaming him for. a lot of it. But is there any other kind. of guys like is Harbaugh is he up in the. air at all if this continues to be awful. or is this going to be maybe clean house. Harbaugh reset next year? What is the.
status of the Chargers? Because it. seemingly every single person including. Herbert uh is getting called for on the. internet from the Chargers faithful. >> You know, here's the deal. When any team. goes through the type of season that the. Chargers are, where they're the last. winless team in football, where they're. struggling on offense, clearly there are. going to be some changes that are made. Um, my guess today, a half season in, would be that they don't include Jim. Harbaugh. He's been a great coach. They. owe him a lot of money. They've had.
success up until this year. This season. has gone off the rails for a variety of. reasons. It's up to the organization to. do a deep dive, figure out exactly. what's gone wrong, why this offense has. let the team down, the defense has. played tough. They've hung in games, the. offense, turnovers, sacks, injur, whatever it is, and it's costing their. season. They'll have to assess after the. season what's gone wrong. But there's no. way a team goes through a season like.
this and just says, "Okay, well that was. unfortunate. Let's just run it back and. we'll be better." Like that doesn't. happen in this league. So how it plays. out, we'll see. >> In this league, you have a guy who's. supposed to be great like Justin. Herbert. >> Yeah, I know. >> And he doesn't have success. Everybody's. going to have to answer to it. And uh. >> look, look at look at those numbers, Pat. Like 27 straight possessions. without a TV. They haven't scored a. touchdown since October 11th. >> Jeez. >> That's a long time ago, bro. That's a.
long, long time ago. So much life has. happened to all of us since then. couldn't even fathom. But for Justin. Herbert, you got him on his sideline. Miserable face. He hates his life. He. was just smooching with his girlfriend. in training camp. He found love was in. commercials. Buffalo Wild Wings. commercial. He looks super cool. He's. got a new offense coordinator who's. going to make him do stuff that he's. never done before. And he's going to. take over the entire league. The. Chargers going to be at the top. Instead, we're the worst of all time. The worst of all time. That's tough to.
fathom, but that's ball, I guess, in a. nutshell. Let's go to tonight's game. Uh, actually, oh, one more thing. And we. hate that we always have to talk about. hot seats, but Tone Bibs has a question. for you, Shifty. >> Yeah, Shifty. I wanted to talk about the. Eagles, uh, after another poor. performance last night. Six in a row. Um, just absurd to think about for them. and all the off the- field stuff and. trades and stuff that have gone on with. them. Um, I mean, he's been to multiple. Super Bowls, one Super Bowls. Is Siri in. any trouble? And are they going to I. know you talked about them being buyers. and sellers at the deadline. That's. always how how he works. But how do you.
see the the Eagles going for the rest of. the season? >> You know, again, I think when I look at. them, it's so surprising because I still. think the roster has a lot of talent. They've now lost six straight games. I. just watching last night. when they were talking to Nick, like he. he looked tired. He looked worn out from. all this. And when you go through a. season like this, I I just think it. takes a physical, mental toll on. everybody. and and it looks like it's. affected them clearly because when you. pour your heart and soul into this and.
you don't get the results uh that you. want. I mean look look at these stats in. some of these it's just incredible that. >> you know what what's going on and and. again I I would I would have the same. answer there that I won the Chargers. I. I I don't know what they'll do about. Nick Seriani but I know that it's going. to be hard pressed to just say okay. we've lost six in a row. Um, and maybe. it's just they lost their quarterback. and when they lost Jaylen Herz, they. they lost.
um their best chance, but this seems. like it's going beyond that. It's um. it's. >> Yeah, >> we get it. Yeah, we get it. It wouldn't. surprise you. Maybe though they'll look. into it. I like that Josh Harris was. shown on the uh on screen last night up. in his suite. Had his lady in his lap. Did you see this, AJ? Gave a hello to. the to the crowd. I like that because. they all look up at the screen, see. themselves, act uncomfortable. Yeah. >> Don't act like act like we had they're. not on us. For him to actually give a. hey because they extended period of. time. It was like 20 to 30 seconds just.
sitting on bumper. Yep. >> And he just had to give a couple of. these, couple of hey. Cuz at first he did the classic owner or. general manager that's not used to being. on television. Looks up, sees himself, gets kind of freaked out, feels a little. weird. Then he looks up again, sees that. they're still on there. And I think uh. misses goes hi first and then he goes. hey how you doing? This is an. interesting situation. Thank god we're. winning this game and not losing this. right now. But Jaden Daniels, he looked. great. Good for the Commanders getting a. huge win at NFC East. Massive question.
marks. Cannot wait to see what it turns. into at the end. And then um last thing. about yesterday, Sheffy, it's scary what. football can be at times. Obviously. there's perspective putters immediately. Do we have any update on Jack Campbell. and when should we expect maybe an. update out of the Detroit Lions? You. know, I've gotten a couple of texts as. we're on the phone about it and uh I. think everybody is hoping and praying. for good news there um regarding Jack. Campbell. Very, you see the emotion. I. mean, it's hard to watch that yesterday. Um it it always amazes me that these men.
play this game and you see something. like that and then he's carded off and. like you just go play. You just keep. playing. Like that's crazy to me. This. is traumatic experience for everybody to. watch. Um. it's hard to watch and you hope he's. okay. >> We're waiting for the next update from. the team. Um but fingers crossed that. everything's going to work out there. >> Yes, certainly positive prayers and. vibes to Jack Hamboy's family and the. Detroit Lions. We will continue to. follow along hopefully for some good.
news. And let's talk about tonight Bears. traveling out here to Lumen Field in. Seattle, Washington. It's a little. chillier than I think any of us could. have predicted when we were packing our. clothes to come out here, but it is a. nice Seattle foggy Monday leading into. an NFC battle between Caleb and Sam. Darnold. Uh, anything we should know. about going in tonight about injuries or. updates uh on the Bears or the Seahawks. side, Shafty? >> Well, I think the interesting part will. be whether the Seahawks activate. Jadarian Price at the 4:00 Eastern. deadline today. My sense is uh that's.
their plan right now. We'll see if. anything changes that, but it looks like. they'll get back Zack Charbonate. tonight. He'll make his season debut. Looks like he's very possibly going to. be joined by Jadarian Price. Gives them. two added running backs in their back. field. And obviously, the story of. tonight's game is going to be the debut. of Quinton Nelson for Seattle and the. debut of Jeffrey Simmons for Chicago. The two big trades that both teams make. last week. And these. these are two heavyweight teams. Um I.
you know I remember speaking to one. coach last week um and that coach said. to me specifically do not be surprised. I almost expect that the Chicago Bears. will be in the NFC Championship game one. of the final four teams. That's how good. they are. So I I just think there's a. high opinion of the Bears who just got. better with Jeffrey Simmons and and we. know what Seattle did last year. It. should be a great matchup tonight. Um, looking forward to watching you guys on. Monday Night Countdown and then the. game. Pat.
>> Yeah. 6 p.m. Eastern. Thank you, Shafty. You're the man. We'll continue to follow. along with you all day as you get. updates. You're the best. That's senior. NFL insight for ESPN. Adam. >> Shy. >> AJ. Lot of news. Not all of it great. Injuries happen, scary ones happen, and. it kind of changed the tenor for. everything. We hope we get Jack Campbell. update today. Um, but man, wild, wild. stuff. Hour two, we'll have Dan Orlovski. stopping by. Who do you think he's. putting a Danwagon on after week eight? How can he predict anything? Well, Dan. Olowski is able to do it because he.
watches every piece of film. Uh, AJ. Hawk. >> Yeah, he does. And I can't wait. Hopefully, we work in some percentages. today. I'm sure we might. >> Oh, I'll be excited to hear what he. knows out of a hundred times what. something would happen and if that is a. percentage still or, you know, he called. us and doubled bound just a day after. Elon Musk has retweeted something about. it. We'll see how he feels today. Be a. friend, tell a friend how nice it might. change your life. Like percentages. See. you on the other side. >> You know what? I think there's only one. thing left to do here. I've experienced. cafesito time. I've experienced the.
wonderful culture. I've experienced the. beautiful people. AND I THINK WE GOT. SOME CANES OVER HERE. WE GOT SOME CANES OVER HERE. WE GOT SOME CANES OVER HERE. THIS DAY IN CORAL GABLES IS GOING TO BE. ONE THAT I WILL REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF. MY LIFE. RAY LEWIS STARTED HIS DANCE. RIGHT HERE AT MIAMI. ED REED STARTED HIS.

WOMAN DIVER FROM ITALY WON A NATIONAL. CHAMPIONSHIP. This thing's been staring. at me all damn day. >> Get out of your mind, brother. You.
crazy, Kirk. I'M A LITTLE WINDED. >> THAT'S WHAT I WAS GOING TO SAY. >> The whole time you're running. I'm. giving you a chance to catch your. breath, you son. You're crazy. I hope. somebody got a lifesaver over there. My man's out of breath. >> It is a long way. >> To the top. Jump in. Somebody. >> are you going to jump in there? >> Oh my god. >> Yeah. So, >> I'm tired for you. >> Oh my god. >> Oh, he's going to take the jacket off.
Okay. >> Okay. >> Oh. Oh, he's taking the shirt off now. >> All right. >> Looking ripped. Looking ripped. Oh. Oh, he's taking the drawers off. >> Ladies and gents, the pants. >> Ladies and gentlemen, >> the drawers. >> Ladies and gentlemen, if you come to. this beautiful campus, you will notice. quickly THAT THE STUDENTS HERE LOVE THIS. UNIVERSITY. They love this atmosphere. AND I'M WITH EVERYBODY. I THINK the U IS.
BACK. GIVE ME. >> He's got the speed on. OH MY GOD. >> GIVE ME the. >> Canadians, baby. >> Here he goes.
>> Oh god. >> Here he goes. Feet together. Feet. together. I think that was toring. it out. >> That could be with a refreshing punch. Miami and Florida tonight. Let's have a. look at that again. Check out the. >> the following program is a collection of. stages talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic.
informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss, or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. >> Hey, let's go. This show sticks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful.
>> McAfee on the line with a gorgeous. assist. >> The alltime leading tackler for the. Green Bay Packers. You pick. >> Damn it. >> Be a friend. Tell a friend something. nice could change their life. Sports, sports. >> Hello, beautiful people, and welcome. back to another magical overreaction. Monday, November 2nd, 2026. Hour two of.
the sports program begins right now. >> FOOTBALL. >> FOOTBALL IS the greatest. And uh we're. all joined by a man that we absolutely. love, a man who is uh just as chilly as. I am. I don't think we expected this at. all. uh backup quarterback in the NFL. for over a decade now. The man who talks. about football all day every day on. ESPN. Dan Roloski's here. >> That's AJ Hawk over there. The talks of. tables here at Boston Connor and at Tai.
Schmidt one half of the hammer. >> Don Don. >> Cowboys AP Tone is here. Tone, what was. the trends this weekend from sports. gambling world? What do we take away. from week eight NFL Sunday? >> Favorites were nine and four. So, a good. weekend for the favorites, which is. normally good for the public. Um, but. when I I was looking at it, where is it? Teams that are getting 50% of the more. 50% or more of the bets are 6 and 17 on. prime time. So, it was a good weekend. for the favorites and the public, but. we'll see if it continues tonight um on.
prime time. NFL favorites of six or more. though, 1124 and three on the year. We. talked about everything being a one-sore. game. That kind of goes to that where if. you're favored by a touchdown or more, you are not going to cover that football. game this year. >> Yeah, you're saying against the spread. there, not straight up. And uh we need. to remember that. Favorites doing well. Great for the fans. Tonight, Seattle. Seahawks are favored at home. Danlovski, any thoughts on tonight's Monday Night. Football game, 6 p.m. Monday Night. countdown begins. NFL Live starts at.
>> uh 3:00 Eastern, 12:00 local. >> Can you hear him? Is his mic on? >> It's your I feel like yours is picking. him up sound. >> How about now? 3:00 you're on right now. >> 3 o'clock Eastern local 3 o'clock. Eastern NFL live 6 pm Monday night. countdown and then obviously 8:00 Monday. Night Football. Seahawks favored by. three favorites have done well this. weekend. What do you expect tonight, Dan? >> Yeah, I like Seattle at home. Um this is. a matchup of strength versus strength in. many ways. Chicago's offense a lot of. really good things. Uh one of the.
premises is yards after the catch. I. think they're top three in the NFL when. it comes to their yards after the catch. the perimeter screen game, the back. screen game, the keeper game, the play. action pass chunk game, getting guys. running away from coverage. So, it's a. huge part of their offense scheme wise. and people-wise. Burden's outstanding at. it. Um, I want to see how the offense. performs without Cole KT. Obviously, the. injury last week with KT really. devastating because he's a huge part. And then Seattle defensively is the.
number one defense in the NFL and not. giving up yards after the catch. One of. Mike McDonald's kind of trademarks. We. don't give up air. we don't give up. cheap yards and that's one of the. reasons why they drafted Eman Worry two. years ago. And so kind of the the the. strength of Chicago offensively or one. of them versus the strength or one of. them Seattle defensively. How does that. matchup go? Goes a long way to. determining who's going to win tonight. >> And then on Seattle side, they might. have the running backs back which would. be a huge addition. Everybody's talked. about them losing Kenneth Walker, but. they also haven't had their number one. guy. Last week they have three different.
rushers do well. They could have stud in. the backfield. How's that helped Sam. Darnold? Yeah, I mean because the. Seattle wants to run the football with. multiple tight ends on the field and. really simplify the defense's options. Are you going to double team JSN? Are. you going to single JSN? I don't think. anybody can single up JSN over the. course of four games or four quarters. from a defensive perspective. And so if. they can put their multiple tight ends. on the field, run the football somewhat. consistently now, I think they'll pull. Nelson and Zable a little bit more than.
they have in the past, then that. challenges Chicago defensively. Chicago. cannot cover JSN one-on-one. They don't. have a corner that can right now. And so. I think we'll see kind of how um Chicago. wants to play JSN from that perspective. If they're going to double them, which. they should, there's always going to be. a numbers advantage for Seattle to run. the football. >> JSN is accounting for 36% of Seattle's. yardage this season, which would be the. highest rate for a wide receiver in NFL. history. Isn't it as easy as just take. the guy away? Isn't it just as easy? Put.
six eyes on him for No, it's not. I. thought that's what you do. You just. take him away. >> No, you can't. One, they move him. So, they move him around so much. And then. two, um I think his releases off the. line of scrimmage are basically like. having five pitches as a pitcher. Like I. don't know who's the best pitcher in. Major League Baseball when it comes to. that stuff of having five different. pitches. And so I think his ability to. win inside leverage, outside leverage, high, low, people playing over the top. in and out, like he's got so many.
different ways to beat that first. defender. >> Yeah. And if you watch uh Hardnox, they. did a great breakdown of how every route. looks the exact same. So you can't. figure it out. You just got to got to. guess. And if you guess wrong, he's. shake, rattle, and roll. He's gone. He's. JSN. That's why he's offensive player of. the year last year. One of the biggest. reasons why they win the Super Bowl. Now, let's get to this past weekend. here, NFL week Sunday, Slate 8. Bo Nicks. now has all these records of one score. games, comeback games. They now beat. five straight MVPs at home or whatever.
the case is. cuz nobody else has ever. done that. Can you tell me why Bo Knicks. is so good so late for this Denver. Broncos team? And do we just have to. believe that every game is attainable. for them no matter how they look the. first three quarters? >> Yeah, cuz right now he's the most clutch. quarterback in football. And the play on. the tape says that and then the. obviously numbers do. Um the the. question of why he's better late for me. the answer is cuz I've always believed. he's a reactor, not a thinker. You guys. know in football in those situations. when it's uptempo, you're playing in a.
two-minute situation, it's do or die, it's much more, it's much less about. thinking and much more about you're. forced to be aggressive with the. football. You're forced to kind of push. the boundaries. I actually walked away. from the game even before the comeback. happens and going that was the best game. he's played this year. And I know there. were the booze cuz the the second half. three and outs he moved much more up in. the pocket rather than back in the. pocket. That's his big flaws like always. going backwards up in the pocket. Two.
much more aggressive throwing over the. middle of the field. I have been. pounding the table. Throw more seams. Throw more seams. Throw more seams. Uh. and then they got into some of their. staple formations. I call them four by. one. They put four people there, one. people there. Sutton on the backside. just with his frame. So before the. comeback happened, I thought it was his. best game. And then I think he just gets. into that mode of it's almost a do or. die like you have no other choice. And. the game comes down to this. In week. one, Kansas City scored 14 points off.
fourth down conversions. Yesterday in. week eight, Denver scored 15 points. after fourth down conversions. In many. ways, the game got swung because they. converted on fourth down and Kansas City. did in week one. I like seeing Wadd back. dancing because that was a huge shining. rethought for Bo in this offense and. then obviously you have a different play. caller. They start out the way that they. start. He doesn't get going as much. Nice to see Wadd back waddling in the. end zone. He was a weapon for Miami for. a long time. I hope now with what they.
got going on in Denver, they can. weaponize him. AJ has a question about. the guy who's back on the sticks, the. ones and twos for Denver. >> Absolutely. Dano, has uh I guess how. have you seen this offense change, if it. has changed at all, with Shawn Payeyton. at the helm, you know, calling the. plays? >> Yeah, it's definitely changed over the. course of the couple weeks, AJ, I tell. you one thing, and I um much more. diverse in their run game. Uh personnel. wise, Shawn wants to run the football. with a fullback on the field. They. weren't doing that early on. They're. they ran the football better with their.
fullback fullback on the field. They ran. the football better with two tight ends. on the field and two back. So, 22. personnel. The second thing is getting. into these 4x1 formations. That's. something that last year it became like. a calling card of theirs, a staple of. theirs, and then getting him more. comfortable throwing the ball down the. field in the middle of the field. AJ, he. throws these in routes, those 20 yard in. routes and those seams routes. So, so. seam routes so well. He did that much. better yesterday. And so, um, I think.
yesterday was the most, um, what it. looked like last year game for both. Shawn Payeyton and Bo Knicks from a pass. game perspective. And, uh, I if if. that's kind of kind of who they're going. to be, it's it's much better for their. offense moving forward. >> Yeah. And this stadium's coming alive. >> Yeah. I they're I don't know if they're. trying to dry the paint here in the end. zone cuz they had a big Seattle Sounders. game. Had a rivalry match up against the. Vancouver White Cops yesterday. local place. It was filled up. But Bo.
and Shawn Peyton, they're going to pick. up where they left off last year at some. point. We assume that this is going to. go on to just continue to crush. >> Yeah, I this was a really, really, really good sign. It was a really good. start because the the majority of the. game I thought he played well. >> I think the other thing to take away is, and AJ can speak to it better than me, dude. those two tackles at the end of. that game on that goal line stand. >> I think they're as good at tackles as. we've seen in the NFL this year. Um with. Certan and then Skinner I think is the.
last name. Dude, those they they it wins. them the game. Um. >> I don't think we see secondary guys. tackle like that. I mean the first down. tackle by Certan is nuts, dude. That's. Kenneth Walker and just sawing off his. outside leg. That's such a big tackle. And then I think it was either second or. third down. Center does a Skinner or. center does such an amazing job of like. vision, vision, vision, and then. shooting through. Like those two tackles. win them the game. And we get caught up. in the quarterback and whatnot. Those.
two tackles win Denver the game. It. could win the Denver the division. >> Yeah. Vance has been a stud with that. defense for the entirety. Yeah. And 49. there. Uh single single. Yeah. Single. >> He's stud. >> He's everywhere. He's awesome. He is. absolutely everywhere. phenomenal. player. The defense is great. The. offense we thought was going to continue. to be great. They struggle early. Maybe. they find it. Bo Knicks though got a bow. leaf. Got a bow leaf. They're in every. single game. Even if they're getting. booed by their home team or look like.
ass. But yes, a lot to get excited about. with the physicality on the defensive. side. Let's pivot away from the Denver. Broncos and Bow Knicks with a good Let's. head over to Baltimore with what they're. going to do. Saw Joey F. You know who. that is? You know, Joey going Faniano. >> Faniano. about Joey Pheno. You never get it. Never get it, Dan. >> Yeah, Dano. Speaking of Joey Phenano, uh. he actually looked pretty good. But if. Lamar is out for an extended period of.
time, are the uh are the Ravens just. kind of dead in the water? We talked. with Sheffy a little bit and he. basically said like, "Hey, they have to. get go get a quarterback right now, but. even if they do, does it matter, especially with what else is going on in. the AFC North?" And kind of a side note, do you think yesterday was the last game. we saw as uh with Lamar as a Raven? >> Yeah. Without Lamar, yeah, the season is. is done. The division's too deep. The. AFC is too good. So, and he's Lamar. Jackson. He's one of the two, three, four best players, let alone.
quarterbacks in the NFL. Uh, it's awful. because the injuries have just become. such a big part of the conversation. So, no, I do not think Baltimore with a. third string quarterback or something. else is is a playoff football team. because the the offensive line's not. good enough and the defense isn't as. dominant enough. Is it the last game for. Lamar as a Raven? I'm not ready to say. that, but I understand it's going to be. a conversation. You guys know Bashadi, you've spent a little bit more time. talking to him than I have. >> No, we've never talked to him. We just. talk about him.
>> I thought you I thought he was on the. show one day. Nope. Okay. No, never. We. We don't know anything other than you. know about him, but we just know we made. a song about him. We like him. >> He's our whale. >> This is a guy. >> He is our He is our whale. >> He's your white whale. >> Yeah. >> Um. >> Well, the Italian Yeah. >> All right. Um. >> Golden, >> this owner that moved on from Harbaugh, not because he couldn't coach, but it. was just like it's time. Lamar would, if. he misses the season, he would have. missed, I believe, 16 out of the last 34. games over the course of two seasons. um $84 million cap hit next year. Has to.
be addressed. That's only his contract. only runs through 27. You guys know. starters don't play on lame duck. contracts. If you're Baltimore and him. missing all that time over the course of. the two seasons, are you extending him? I think that's hard to do for a guy. that's turning 30. Um if you're Lamar, are you going into next year as a Raven. without a contract extension playing? No. Uh, so I just think it's a delicate. situation with like where they are. financially and the unfortunate part of.
the injuries. >> Yeah, the Jesse Mentor era with the. Baltimore Ravens started out with an ass. beating of the Indianapolis Colts in. Indie and I thought to myself, wow, Lamar looks better than he's looked. He. went through all spring tra uh spring. practice and OTAAS with mentor trying to. establish a culture. Their defense we. know with mentor going to be good. I had. such high hopes and high dreams for him. and now here we are eight weeks in and. we all think it might be over entirely. for Lamar in Baltimore as a whole. Is he. getting back to South Florida Gumps? Is. that where he's headed? Gumps,
>> come on home, Lamar. Come on home. >> The internet's getting excited about. >> Yeah, you you'd take him as a Dolphins. fan for two. >> Absolutely. >> Two or three first rounders and another. 200. >> It's not going to be that. Remember the. contract he signed when no one would. give up any first? >> He's got a no trade clause though. >> You know he doesn't want to come home. No, I'm saying he he controls what where. he can go. And so at the end of the day, like he if it's only going to be Miami, Miami will then have to give up what it. takes whether you agree with it or not. Dude, Jeffrey Simmons just went for two.
first rounders. You don't think Lamar. Jackson's going to? >> No, I don't. >> Okay. >> What do you know? Now, on that note, >> no. >> Let's get away from uh the Baltimore. Ravens, Lamar Jackson, and the Miami. Dolphins. Let's talk about trading and. not having any first rounders. There's a. chance that the Colts trade away. They. already have. Quint Nelson, the Forest. Buckner already have. Jonathan Taylor. seemingly happening. Him and Josh DS. Josh Downs asked for a trade. They were. part of a play yesterday. It was kind of. a a good showcase of the Colts says,
"Oh, there's a chance we don't get a. first out of this thing. There's a. chance we don't get a first out of this. entire operation where we're trying to. and we still don't have a first going. forward." Daniel Jones looks ass. compared to what he looked like through. the first 10 weeks last uh season. What. do we do? What are your thoughts on the. Indianapolis? If you're Shane Stiken, what are you doing? You're trying to win. every stinking game. It's a freaking. It's a fudging tough ass league. I. understand that. But I mean, this is an. embarrassment. They got smacked. Jags. might be the best team in the AFC. I. think that conversation should happen,
but they put the Colts team done. Okay, this is a wounded dog and they took him. out back and put him down and they just. continued to embarrass him. Or is this. more about how great Jacksonville is or. we got nine more games for the Colts? Should we be fire sailing everybody out. there, Dan? >> Yes. Uh, the Jags are that good. Uh, also, when you trade away two great. players like that, you send the message. to your football team that. >> Oh, yeah. Well, the Titans continue to. fight. How come the Titans don't know. how to fight? Is that because their. culture is better than the Indianapolis. Colts culture? And that's a Tennessee. Titans. Is that what we're talking. about?
>> Uh, that's a great point. Um, one, Tennessee got the best game of their. young quarterback's career. So, that's a. big part of it. Um, yeah. Yeah, I just. think with a a group that went in with. expectations in Indie this year to see. their reality happen and then to trade. away two of their best players, it sends. the message that we're not trying to win. right now and anything and everybody is. on the table. And so players feel that. in the locker room. And so I I think. there's just that reality of the NFL. And so yes, anybody can be traded from. Indie. I would entertain. I don't know.
the the financial ramifications of. trading away a Daniel Jones if. >> there we go. What do you want to do? You. want to get him? Where did he go? >> If I was in Minnesota, I'd have to make. the call to amongst other places. Jonathan Taylor seems he's going to get. traded. I don't know if he's going to go. for a first round pick. Uh Josh DS. won't. So, yeah, they're going to be a. lot of really good players out of India. over the next 10 days. >> And Jacksonville Jaguars deserve a lot. more credit for who they are. >> Yeah, they're awesome. Awesome. Awesome. football team. Trevor Lawrence, I I. continue to rave. If I was an owner, if. I was an owner and I had a quarterback.
that was a young player or I had a. quarterback that maybe had moments and. has in a struggling state, I would be. doing everything to find my Liam Cohen. cuz what Liam Cohen has done just from. the confidence level of Trevor Lawrence. uh and the the um self-belief in his. ability to play is totally changed the. way this team operates. >> Yeah, Trevor Lawrence, what's the stat? 44 touchdowns to 11 interceptions over. the last 17 games. Something like that.
>> Yes. >> In his last 17 games, 44 touchdowns. >> Yeah. >> Danner, what's Liam done? What What have. they done for him for real? What is What. is the difference now? >> Yeah. Yeah. AJ, good question. So, in. 2024, I remember calling I believe I was. calling Monday Night Jacksonville at. Buffalo. >> and he was a shell of himself. He was. just shot mentally. And I think when. Liam came in, it was number one. demanding more out of him from a.
leadership and a voice perspective and. then everything being a big deal. And. then the second thing is getting him to. think of himself in the way that Liam. saw him. Dude, you are 66 250. You have. an unbelievable arm. You're mechanically. so sound. Stop worrying and cut the ball. loose. I've always believed in see it, trust it, rip it. You you if you. prepare, see it, trust it, and rip it. I. think he's gotten to that point now. They're much more physical up front. They're much more diverse. They take.
their shots downfield. I don't think he. worries about throwing interceptions. I. think he says, "Hey, I'm going to get. the guy open. Make the best throw you. can make." I think he's much more. willing to be athletic. That was my big. thing for years with Trevor AJ was like, "Dude, be athletic. Stop trying to be. perfect in the pocket. You're a big. athlete." He's much more willing. It has. been since Liam got there. And um yeah, they're a wagon on offense. >> Yeah, they're a wagon on offense. Liam. Cohen buries the Colts yet again. And. the Colts just get shredded and. decimated in a whole new eras around the.
turn. And do we we expect them to make. all the right decisions, right, going. forward for the Colts? >> Yep. >> I don't know. >> I do. >> I I do. I expect them to make all the. right decisions. What is the right. decision? Who knows? Is it AR? You see. him in the fourth quarter? He I saw him. hook a little bit. He was run a little. bit, did a little check back, drop back. You think Shane Stiken tries to figure. out if AR has any value for the Colts. going forward or. >> I don't think Shane I mean Shane. Stiken's been around the NFL long enough. to know reality. You know, it's like. that the you have to win in that league.
and when decisions start getting made. and you're not winning, we don't have to. be rocket scientists to connect the. dots. >> Speaking of rocket scientists, have you. gotten anything from Elon? Uh, I saw he. he chimed in on the percentage game as. United picked up 44% of their planes now. have Starlink in installations. Uh, which means 44 out of every hundred. planes. Just to let you know, >> how many planes does United have? Like. what does that mean? >> Hundreds. So that's why they're trying. to let you know like 44% of them have.
been completed. >> Do they have 500 planes? Do they have. a,000 planes? Do they have. >> So if they have a,000 planes, what's. this mean? >> 4,400. >> 440. >> 440. Sorry. >> There you go. >> You got it. Okay. >> All right. We're not getting back. WE'RE. NOT GETTING BACK. >> WE GOT TO save him. We got to save. >> We're not doing, >> dude. I I landed at 12:00 last night. Come on. Like, it's. >> 12:00 local. >> Yeah. 11:43, I think it was.
>> Okay. It's 2:43. This Pacific time zone. is crazy, >> brother. It's so far. I feel like I am. >> so far. >> Where Elon maybe like uh um where. Starlink might be from. Like, it's so. far. Yeah, it's very far. You might be. in space. Yeah, I understand what you're. saying. Um, United says they have. inflight Wi-Fi that actually works. That's how they found out about you not. knowing what a percentage is or what. percent means. And I do appreciate that. after the entire world. That's one of. the most watched clips that the. internet's seen in some. >> I had so many people come on um like.
walking through the airport or coming. onto the plane cuz I'm sitting there and. go figure out what percentages are yet. >> Yeah. Hey, what' you say? No, I didn't. know. >> It still doesn't make sense to me, dude. >> Yeah, I appreciate you've had some. people with brains um back you, which I. think has empowered you. There's been. some people that said, "You know what? Dan's not the only one. Let me throw. myself right into this shit." And uh I. appreciate them doing that for you. You. know, that's that's a that's a really. good thing. Let's go back to the. Thunderdome. Percentages are high. The.
con man has a great question for you, Dan. >> Yeah, Dan, first of all, great jacket. That thing looks awesome. My mother. wears the same one every single day when. it's the winter time. Uh my question for. you guys, however, is uh. >> your mother shops at Collars and Co. >> You know, Oh, that's right. You did that. uh stupid gimmick at Callers and Co. I. forgot about that. No, she doesn't. But. it looks just like that. Um let's put. fashion to the side here for a second, Dad. Uh why can't Kyler figure it out in. Minnesota? It feels like.
>> What the hell is Callers and Co? Would. Would your mom be shopping at Callers. and Co? It's a nice jacket. It's a great. jacket. Uh, it's a great jacket. It's a. clothing company. >> You do a commercial like the shoulder. rehab thing. >> Yeah, he did this street commercial. where he's walking through with bags. like Pretty Woman. >> Oh, I I missed that. Like. >> Pretty Woman. >> Oh, really? Were you picked up on the. street or you doing the picking up? >> Big mistake. Huge. >> Pretty Woman. You know what that means? So, >> I've never seen Pretty Woman. >> Well, you you know Do you know you know. the premise of it? >> It's not appropriate.
>> Yeah, I think I know the premise of it. Uh, that is uh Julia Roberts, correct? She was a working gal. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Gear, high money guy. And. >> there you go. She serviced it. >> Yeah. A worker. Yeah. They fell in love. though. They found love in a hopeless. place, some would say. And with this. particular jacket, it's a lot colder. here than I thought. Did you know it was. going to be this cold here? I feel. >> Yeah. I I have gotten to the point like. before packing kind of go on a weather, check out what the weather's going to. be. I saw the high of 52. If you're like.
me and love athletic fabric shirts, but. also want them to present like a. traditional dress shirt, get yourself. the callers and co. Hell yeah. >> I'm being honest. >> Is this callers and co dress shirt, too? >> Uh, this white shirt underneath is a. callers and co shirt. So, >> you look good, Dano. >> Thanks, pal. Um, >> Connor has a question for you. >> Yeah. Asked about Kyler, right? >> Yeah. just just why like it feels like. we talked about for a couple years now. how playing quarterback and a Kevin. Oonnell offense is easy and simple and. you got Justin Jefferson and Jordan.
Addison and Kyler did have a beautiful. deep ball to Jordan Addison later on in. this game but why hasn't it worked and. is it as simple as hey let's bring Danny. Jones in because what makes you think. Danny Jones can make it work based on. how he's played this year. >> he hasn't looked great. >> I agree I love Dann less than great. >> totally Um, okay. So, I want to before I. answer the direct part of that question, two things. Since Sam Darnold left,
Minnesota as a team has the worst QBR in. football. Since Sam Darnold left. So, no, this is not just Kyler. Okay? Like. that that that is not just we've had. multiple quarterbacks play in in this. situation. It's not just him. Right now, this offense on a driveby drive basis is. the worst offense in football. They. average 24 yards per drive. 24 yards per. drive with Addison and Jefferson and. Hawinson and Derasaw and Aaron Jones.
who's still plenty capable. Okay, that. being said, directly to Kyler. right now, Kevin O'Connell is just. calling plays. Kevin Oonnell had for. years become this coach that could. sequence plays. And what that means is. like I can take these six plays like I. can get into this with Joe B Brady. I. could take these six plays and I can run. them out of one formation or six. formations and then I could take this. one play and I could run it out of six.
different formations. And so I can. sequence sequence all the different. looks or what I can um I can set up for. the future. And that's called calling a. game. It's called calling the game. rather than building a game plan. >> Right now, Kevin O'Connell can't do that. because a lot of the things in my. opinion that he's so great at, if you. look at it, you go, "Well, I I really. like doing this this week. Oh, man. I. attacked him this way. I do not believe. that Kyler is a ideal skill set for this.
position in Kevin Okonnell's offense.". >> Well, then why' they sign him? Cuz we. were being told, >> what else were the options? Well, >> so that that's part of this. >> JJ McCarthy was there. Daniel Jones was. there. >> Daniel was in Indie, though. Like they. they didn't sign Dan Kyler after Indie. this year. No, you know, last year when. >> And so and like for this offense, you. have to be able you for this offense to. be ideal, you have to be able to turn. your back to the defense, set up in.
different spots within the pocket. It's. not just drop back. Re-evaluate what. you're seeing. And then, excuse me, throw the ball to space with great ball. placement right now, Kyler, from the. pocket that ball placement's just not. good enough. And so, I've said this all. year that also people aren't open all. the time. Kevin O'Connell can't get. people open. And that makes me think of. well that's he's not ideally running his.
offense. He's just calling good plays. And this is not a simple fix. No. But I. do think getting a quarterback in there. that he could run his offense with. is better than what's happening right. now. >> Okay, they move on from Quy, general. manager, get a new GM in there. They. move on from JJ McCarthy and everybody. I guess we just wait and see if they can. find a quarterback that can operate in. Kevin O'Connell system, which is why we. continue to think maybe they'll make a. trade for a QB. Who would that be? I. guess that's up for teams to decide.
Justin Jefferson, maybe he's tra is he. tradable? Have you seen the stats on Justin. Jefferson? Have you This catch is uh. absurd. It's Justin Jefferson catch. Way. to go. I like that he still has the fire. in him and everything like that. There's. stats popping up, graphics popping up. about Justin Jefferson and how he's I. don't know a lot of games, 10 15 games. or whatever. Not good. I mean, it has. not been great for Justin Jefferson who. we all believe best wide receiver in the. league, right? We all just. >> certainly in the conversation. >> Yeah, we all think that though. >> Yeah. And that's and here's the here's. the reality like oh okay uh from the.
30,000 foot view Kevin Oonnell guys that. is thought as one of the great coaches. in the league and I absolutely believe. that if this continues to go and this. team goes 11 and six or whatever and. it's on the backs of Brian Flores's. defense and the offense just struggles. and struggles and struggles and then. teams are going to go hey we want to we. want to bring Brian Flores in as our. head coach okay then Minnesota's going. to be left as an organization with the. decision of being like are we going to. let Flores walk out of the building? Our. offense has been bad for 2 years or.
hasn't carried their weight for two. years. I just think they're at a reality. as a football team and organization. being like there's got to be something. that happens at that position to spark. the offense to perform better. >> Yeah, I hope so. Cuz I'm a Kevin Okconor. believer. >> I love them. >> I'm a I'm a believer. But man, there's a. lot of decisions made at the most. important position in sports that were. maybe disrespectful to ball. You know, maybe it was disrespectful to ball as a. whole. Sam Darnold does the season he. does with the Minnesota Vikings and they.
say, "Get him out of here. We don't want. to match." Because he didn't even get. that good of a deal from here. Seattle, he got the same offer that Gino got. allegedly. Gino said, "That's not good. enough." Uh Sam Darnold almost leads the. uh Minnesota Vikings, the number one. seed in the NFC. Kick him out of town. 14 games. Get him out of here. He comes. to Seattle, obviously wins a Super Bowl. It's like Kurt Cousins goes on, he has. it's there's been a lot of disrespectful. decisions. The question is whose. decision was that, right? We don't know. We don't really know. Was it Kevin's? Was it Quesy's?
>> Well, what if JJ goes on to be what we. think he could be here for the Giants? I. mean, that would be a crazy little. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. And again, that would be. another kind of context of wait, we. we've left there's been three. quarterbacks in our building, four. quarterbacks in our because I know. Daniel's not playing good this year, but. was great last year. There'll be four. quarterbacks in your building that are. playing or have played since they left. at a high level. >> Yeah. And uh we believe in Kevin. Oonnell. Believe me, we all do. But. we're going to have to start seeing it. I think we're going to have to start.
seeing it. Let's go to a place that we. are seeing it. I don't know if you. noticed. Pittsburgh Steelers defense. eight sacks. Okay. They're hungry hungry. hippos on the defensive side. Oh, mama. It looks like the steel curtain again. But let's go to the offensive side. Tone. Diggs has a question for you, Dan. Oh, >> yeah. Dan, I wanted to talk to you about. the top of the AFC North and the two AFC. North teams that won yesterday. The. Steelers, since they made the offensive. line change in week three, statistically. are one of, if not the best running team. in the NFL. And then the Bengals, who. also won yesterday, throwing the ball 40. times a game.
>> Yes. >> Uh, and they're probably one of the best. passing teams. Which one do you have. more confidence in moving forward? Because it doesn't look like the Bengals. can run the ball and the Steelers are. definitely struggling, you know, taking. shots down the field. >> Yeah, that's a great question. I I lean. >> Oh, good question. Let's go. >> Tony, >> let's go Tony. >> Lean dogs, baby. >> Eileen Eileen Cincy. Um, but I want to. answer the Pittsburgh part of it first. Okay, Tone, cuz it's coming from you. >> Go on. >> I like so much about what Pittsburgh is.
doing and has done. I really do. I. really like their offensive line to your. point. I remember you bringing up week. three, the new essentially the right. side. >> I love the two backs. I love the way. they've used their two backs, Dowel and. Warren. I think that the trap game. yesterday was awesome. >> I think the two tight ends are really. good players. Aaron's playing at such. good level. >> I have such reservation about the pass. game when it matters because DK just. right now is not working out.
>> Yeah, but we assume he'll get that. figured out, right? They're running into. a buy right now cuz he's DK Metaf. He he. we assume he'll get the jugs machine at. the house. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. >> Forget the drops. I mean, the drops are. the drops. The He's been targeted 65. times this year. He has 378 yards. receiving. That's five yards per target. Five. That that would that's like a. running back's number. And so, for some. reason, that's not happening. Jeremy. Bernard not having that same issue. Jeremy's playing outstanding. Uh the.
tight end's outstanding. The the pass. game, like that's my concern tone, but I. do like so much of what they're doing. and defensively as well. Um, >> is is Pitman out? How long has Pitman. been out for? All season. >> We don't know. He went on the IR. Uh, they just interviewed him this morning. Uh, he says it's very very frustrating. He wants to come back, but he can't come. back to his 100%. So, we'll we'll see. We do not know. >> Steelers could be in the trademark for a. wide receiver that can get open, right? Josh DS potentially in conversation. >> Roman Wilson Roman Wilson was their man.
beater and he's out as well. >> Yeah. I mean, the man beater right now. is the backs. It really is. the the. backs are the man beaters. The only. thing that everyone continues to talk. about with them and a a receiver. The. only thing and this has come from a. little bit of spending some time with. the on Wednesday's Bren Live. Adam. Thelen obviously spent time in. Pittsburgh like he consistently is like. guys he needs and like the only guys. that can play for him is somebody that. totally knows what he's thinking at the. same time. >> That's why Steelers fans Steelers fans.
are clamoring for Garrett Wilson. Now, they say they won't trade him, but they. are clamming for Garrett Wilson because. they had such a good relationship. together. >> Yeah, I I. I just don't think them adding a. receiver midway through this season is. going to be something that unless he's a. guy that has a past with Aaron. I just. don't think um bringing on some random. guy is going to be the difference. Um. the the Cincinnati part of it for me is. this tone. When I if you asked anybody like the the. foundational parts of pass game and what.
makes it click quarterback receiver, they would tell you anticipation, the. touch of a throw, and the placement of. the ball. And it's just teach tape in. Cincinnati over the past couple weeks. The fact that this play ends up at a. 30-y touchdown is outrageous, by the. way. But it's teach tape and it's both. receivers. like the the anticipation he. throws with this throw is nuts, dude. That's a 27yd throw and he puts it on. his eyelashes. The the ball is out of.
his hand so early. He is excuse me, he's. throwing like with such great touch and. and anticipation and then placing the. ball literally perfect for guys. >> I don't think I've ever seen it get this. choked up about Joey Burl. You know what. you're seeing out of him, huh? You're. kind of choked up here. I mean, it's it. down in the red zone right now, it's. unstoppable. >> Surgical. >> It's unstoppable. And so, just the way. that I'm watching the pass game operate. and we obsess about T and Jamar,
rightfully so. Gaseki's having an. unbelievable year. Um, and so I just I. bank on I bank on the quarterback and. receiver. Just they kind of do whatever. they want at times. >> Here's a little stat for you. ESPN. insights. Joe Burrow is the second. quarterback in NFL history with 450. passing yards. Holy hell. Five passing. touchdowns, one rushing touchdown in a. single game. And he's the first in 75. years. You remember Norm Van Brocklin? You haven't watched his film. You're. disgusting. I need you to check out Norm. Van Brock one time.
>> I get NGS to get 1951 tape. >> Well, NGS, how about. >> MVP, bro? He was the MVP back in 1951. That guy was spinning it. Their minds. were blown with what he was able to do. 554 pass yards. We thought it was rugby. MVP comes in there. MVP like performance. and now Joey E is doing something we. haven't seen since then. Now, is this. sustainable? AJ Hawk, I want to ask you. this question cuz you had a little bit. of a take earlier today. People are. saying it's not sustainable. It's not. sustainable. Is Joey Burrow sustainable?
I think that's kind of the question mark. in it all. He had three picks yesterday. They still get a win. Almost gave that. game away early. Kind of pissed it away. early. They still get a win. Uh AJ, I. think you have a little bit of a thought. about everybody that's saying this isn't. how you can win, right? >> Yeah. I I just said I think it is a. sustainable model for the the Bengals. I. mean, with Joey Burrow playing as well. as he had and Dano kind of helps helps. my thought process when he talks about. how well he's like look at him jumping. like you got to feel pretty good, don't. you Dano, to be eluding the rush, jumping in the middle of the pocket and. then putting a absolute perfect ball on.
And the next four games, what Falcons. Steelers, Commander Saints, I feel. pretty good about that. And I know the. Steelers got them the first time, so. they're going to try to get them in. their second matchup. But with how this. offense is playing, I don't know if they. even need to try to commit to the run at. all. And I think their defense will. continue to get better. I know you give. up a ton of points to the Titans, but I. give Cam Ward credit. I think they. played very well. I just think Joe. Burrow is on like a different level. right now. It's like he's on a different. planet how comfortable he is, how. confident he is, and when you have studs. on the outside and the offensive line. holds up, I think the sky's is the.
limit. The only offense that I would say. in the NFL is sustainable this way is. Cincinnati. I would say no to the. question for anybody else but Joe Burrow. and them. This is who they are. The. offensive line is so much better than. they have been in the years past. Joe's. not dropping back and taking a beating. And they are so deep at the pass catcher. group for there was a year or two. stretch where I was like we got to get a. little bit more balanced. We got to run. the football a little bit more. And I. actually would sit here and tell you I. do not subscribe to that thought process.
with this team anymore. This this is. this is a team that is built on. firepower. This is a team that has a. quarterback and pass catching group that. can score 40 on anyone in the NFL. outside of maybe Seattle and Minnesota. And if they continue to block in the. pass protection game, their right tackle. Mims could be the best right tackle in. football early if they continue to. protect like that. Okay. So, what's. their Achilles heel? They run into four. D line, four ones at the end. >> I don't even think that matters, dude.
Because here's the thing from a a. structure perspective. We have to cover. T. We have to cover Jamar. You can't. cover them one-on-one over the course. for course of four quarters. Okay. Well, we got to we got to sprinkle a little. bit of shade one side because of. tendency. Well, then Gaseki and then so. now you're you're trying to defend this. kind of three-headed passcatching group. that one size is a big deal with T and. Giki. They're 6'4 and 6'5. Jamar is a. freak physically and so I don't think.
even the four defensive lineman thing. and then Joe is so good at ball out, ball out, ball out. They're Achilles. heels as a football team is the they're. the worst first quarter defense in the. NFL. So if you can jump on them, it. certainly helps. Um, and they were. really bad defending the play action. pass yesterday. Now, Kim Ward was that. was the best game Kim Ward's ever. played. But. >> I agree. I said the same thing in the. first half. That was like his best NFL. game of all time. >> And credit him a little bit, too. Like, credit him with making some throws. But. I don't really think that this offense.
has an Achilles heel other than, and I'm. not even going to say it. So, >> all right. Don't say it. >> We all like. >> what? >> Excuse me. >> Health. >> Health. >> Health for everybody. Health. Health for. everybody is a real thing. Uh, health is. going to start rearing its head, too. And I think we saw it in kicking. yesterday. I think, uh, leg leg swing. and leg speed is changing because we're. getting into the season a bit. So, I. think that's why we're seeing some more. guys pull some stuff. I think they're. going to have to straighten that out. I. think we're only most dinks we've had in.
weeks. I don't know if the amount of. times we heard yesterday. I like that. they put a mic on it like WWE does to. the ring, you know, so you can hear a. good pop uh off the upright. But I think. kickers are going to start having to. experience that as well. >> Would you move off a Buter? >> Uh so that was an interesting setup. there with uh. signing a Justin Tucker. >> What are they doing? What are they. what's the plan? Do you know? >> I think that was to put pressure on. Buter. I think that was to let Bucker. know that we're thinking about, you.
know, somebody else. But on a practice. squad, like if Tucker's going to get. signed by anybody, he can still get. signed by anybody. Yeah. So, like Andy. Reid had to answer a bunch of questions. about being the first person to sign. Justin Tucker and I don't know if he was. doing it to put pressure on Bucker. It. clearly obviously didn't work out the. way they thought it was going to in that. particular fashion cuz he misses another. kick. But it's like I could still sign. him cuz he's on the practice. He's not. on the team. I I don't know. I don't. know what the messaging was cuz that's a. big decision to add Tucker to your team.
after everything that's come out. And. Andy Reid had to answer a bunch of. questions about it. They were writing. op-eds obviously about his. decision-making to do that. They've dug. into everything else to start happening. because he's signing. It's like for a. practice squad kicker I I that seems it. seems like is the juice worth the. squeeze? I I just don't I don't know. And I don't think but Bucker needs to. start making his kicks again though. Yeah. >> I think is what the Chiefs are thinking. You think that was false start? >> I don't I do not think it was a false. start. I know it was a false start. And. here's the thing. Everybody on TV. >> that continues to show the over the.
touchdown or over the group angle, that's not the angle. If you can find. the behind the offense angle, it's very. You see his right knee go like this. So. right when the right knee goes that. you're like, "Yeah." So see like that. Yes, that angle you could sit there and. be like have a conversation now. I think. that's an obvious flinch. The behind the. offense angle, it's very clear. It's. obvious that it's a flinch and it's. unfortunate, but it's an obvious flinch. >> Yeah. And the knee is what the Dline is. looking at. Uh I had a chance to watch. Dwight Freeny or Robert Matthysse. practice and the little things that they.
are looking at to get off the ball knee. of tackle. >> Yeah, you can you see the right knee. behind the cuz we with NGS I have the. both behind offense and behind defense. angle as well as the all 22 and you see. the right knee of that right tackle. >> I think we have this we have a front. angle. We don't have the back angle. We. have. >> So watch. Yeah. See, like it's that that. angle is even better than the the the. top view angle. >> Yeah. Watch his right knee. >> Yeah. Okay.
>> Yeah. >> All right, Dana. >> Yeah, that is. >> I'm kind of with you on that, D. >> Wait till Wait till you guys I promise. you it'll come out over the next x. amount of hours. turns out. >> Yeah, once you see the behind the. offense angle, it's obvious. >> And he did try to play it off as if he. was just looking inside. But he played. it off pretty well. >> Yeah, he did play well. People think. you're calling it just for him looking. inside or whatever, but no. Oh yeah, he. that is. Yeah, that right knee is pretty. terrible. >> NFL Pro, which you can find on NFL Plus, which is a part of NFL Unlimited, which. was sold out.
>> That's a great pull, Bruce. That right. knee, that's the thing. Like, so that's. an obvious one to me. >> Okay, so you're saying no problem with. the false start. Uh, are we having a. problem with the Chiefs, though? Are we. scared? Because Patrick Mahomes walks. down and scores touchdown there. Yeah. Every time I've ever seen it happen, you. know. >> Yeah. So, yes. Here's here's my my. concern about the Chiefs. And it's in many ways they've been. exposed over the past two weeks. Okay. The run game gets shut down and credit. Seattle and and certainly Denver.
defensively. Two good defenses. Um they. are going to have to I want to pull up. this. So they have 72 catches by their. wide receivers this year. 72. They have. 82 by their backs and tight ends. 72. catches by their receivers is 25th in. the NFL. 25th. They're ninth when it comes to running. backs and tight ends. They've got 825. yards receiving by their wide receivers. That's 30th in the NFL.
You're not winning a Super Bowl like. that. Again, I know Chiefs fans are. like, "Oh, he won Patrick won a Super. Bowl with me, you, and Gumpy playing. wide receiver." Well, you're not going. to like that's really hard to do. Okay. So, they have to have to have to add a. wide receiver and a good one over the. next week. >> Yeah. And there had been, you know, rumblings, uh, and I don't want to keep. saying his name, but Josh DS asked for a. trade, and he is a very good wide. receiver who. >> I would rather, if I was Kansas City, I. think DS is awesome. Awesome. I'd rather.
have Dantavian Wixs for their offense. than D. >> Okay. So, who knows? Maybe Andy Reed and. Brett V will get both of them. You never. know what the Chiefs will cook up. Let's. go to tonight, shall we? Uh, last week. we had an incredible opportunity to. showcase being boots on the ground. Do. you remember this, Dan Olowski? Of. course you don't. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us live from Lumen Field, the. field, is football environment expert. Parker. >> Parker, the baby, >> what?
>> What's up, boys? >> Parker, you are the authority of. football environment expertise. I can't. believe Dan Lovski just called you. Payton. 11 years at ESPN. This guy, 11. years at ESPN, sleeping on the floor. FIRST FOUR, FIVE YEARS. SOUTHWEST. FLIGHTS MIDDLE SEAT BECAUSE of. commitment to the league. >> That's my fault. Park, >> I apologize. >> That's disgusting. Parker, you gota you. got to get it right, but we'll get it. right next week. >> I like that. Parker, put him in his. place. Parker, you are the only man that.
we can trust with this particular job. Last week, you said the weather felt. like it was good for Dallas. We just. need a couple answers out of you so we. can kind of shape how we're going to. view this game going forward. First of. all, how's it feel, Parker, down on the. field? Feels great. The field crew's been down. here busting butt to get this place in. shape for tonight. So, give them some. mad props off their top. >> Okay. So, mad props to the field crew. Busting butt out there. I know you fudge. and like him saying like way to be a. good example. >> Uh Parker, what does it feel good for. the Bears or for the Seahawks in your.
eyes? >> Yeah, it's going to be Bears weather. unfortunately. Uh they're doing a lot of. good work down here to get it ready for. a loss tonight. >> Okay. You're the mancoy. >> Oh, boys. What do we learn there from. Marco down on the field? >> What's What are his rooting interests? I. need to know like I need to go into. Parker's brain. Does he a fan? >> He's a Saints. >> He's from Louisiana. He's not a Bears. fan. >> He is a Saints fan. >> Saints fan. Yeah. >> Yeah.
>> Yeah. But only a Bear fan or someone. who's fond of the Bears would say it's. feeling like Bear weather. >> And he might have Caleb Williams or. something on his fantasy team off the. top. That's kind of my thoughts around. >> There's no way Parker has a fantasy. team. That takes a lot of time, right? Parker is Parker's either in a plane or. uh in a car driving around. He's a dog, right? He loves fantasy. >> As if you would know, Dano, >> you have no idea. Yeah. Trying to make. it right right now. He's a dog, right? You're really attract. >> No, I just remember um someone telling.
me last week like how uh like how. committed he's been to the job and like. kind of doing the dirty work type stuff. >> Yeah, Parker's the man. Good peak into how you treat the people. around you, Dan. Over San Francisco, too, Dan. >> Jeez Louise. >> Dan, I'm terrible with names, too. I I. get. >> You're focused on Paul. So is he, though. That's why we bring him in here. Parker, you're down there. How do you. feel about what Danowski's done to your. name and your work ethic here? >> Uh, I'm not too worried about it. Like I. said, we'll get it right next week. >> That's right. Thank you for that. That's.
Parker. >> Parker. >> Good lad. Good lad. That Parker to go. >> All right, Dana, we appreciate you. Take. that in. NFL Live. What we just learned. from Parker right there. Feels like it's. Bears weather. >> Feels like it's Bears weather. >> It is chilly, man. I'm telling you. I I. didn't know this. I guess we're really. close to Canada. You know, Gumpy's just. a 2hour and 45 minute ferry away from. hometown here, you know, across the. sound into the water there. So, it is. closer to Canada than you could imagine. It's so far away. >> That's another question. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Oh, no. Dan, don't do it. >> Please do it. >> Okay. And maybe you can answer this. Is.
it true? cuz I got 14-year-old sons and they were. talking about this. >> Okay. >> You can walk from Alaska. to Russia. >> Mhm. >> Can we get a map up, please? >> Depends on the time of year. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I think there's a frozen. >> I think there's a frozen road. >> There's a frozen bridge. Yeah. >> I know. On clear days on clear days if. the sun is out you can see from Alaska. to Russia. Well, you got to remember.
Sarah Palin whenever she was running for. something, she said, "When you talk. about international relations, I could. see Russia in my backyard is what she. said.". >> Does that blow your mind? >> That like throughout history, the reason. why we have Alaska is because its. proximity to Russia. >> What do you mean? >> Oil the man. Dan, just so you know that the shortest. distance between the US and Russia is. about two two and a half or two and a. half miles, but in deep winter the ice. is is thick enough you can, but not.
during the. >> Yeah, you can do a penguin waddle across. if you need to. >> They say it's very very dangerous. though. >> Here's another fun thing. >> that doesn't that sound a little bit. like I didn't know that. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> No. >> Yeah, you could. >> There's a lot of stuff out there. >> Yeah. If you didn't know that, you could. definitely say I didn't know. >> My kids were telling me about it when. they were like, oh, >> how old are your kids? This is a good. segment. >> The boys are 14. >> You're the best. >> #lifehack Dan or. >> Lost. know that. >> # Dan didn't know. >> you knew that. Oh, you Canada. Yeah.
>> Alaska, which Alaska, >> it's not part of the show. >> Okay, that's why. >> Yeah, you're the best. And ladies and. gentlemen, that's Dan Olowski. >> Thank you, Dan. I don't think that's as. universally known percentages, you know, so I I I we can't kill him for that one. I don't think we can absolutely murder. him for that, but certainly something. that as an adult, he shouldn't be. learning from a 14-year-old son, you. know. I think he should he should have. that one in the bag. We will continue. here on this overreaction Monday is big.
day. >> with big strikes. >> Breaking down all of the big plays. >> is next on this glorious overreaction. Monday. Monday night countdown starts at. 6. We're live here in Seattle as the. Chicago Bears come to town. AJ, anything. to say to the people as we head digital? Have a great time watching Shrags after. this one. >> Well, Shreggs might be on ESPN since. we've been on ESPN 2. Oh, no. We might. have blew the See you. Goodbye. All. right, nailed it. >> Do we know if Big Shriggs is on ESPN 2? >> There's a girls basketball game that's. been playing on ESPN one, I believe. I'm.
looking through the window. I can't tell. who it is. Con man, can you tell. >> women's college South Carolina and uh. >> Oh, that's a good one. >> This big kickoff, right? This is the. first game. >> Yeah. Yep. College Bagot Bowl starts. today. >> Excuse me. >> College Bag Bowl. >> College Hoops. Got to go to hoops. >> Yeah, there big day with big shreds on. ESPN one. So, we just threw this. something. We just threw something. It's. not supposed to. Whatever the case, >> that's a good tilt. >> That's a good tilt. South Carolina, Maryland. >> Certainly. And women's basketball,
college basketball starts today. Is that. what we're learning? >> That and men's. I know. Men's uh they. started they do like the 24 hours. Like. there were teams playing at like 4:00. a.m. last night. >> Oh, I remember that. That's always a fun. thing to stay up for. I I I stayed up. for those games. Gumpy did too. Gumpy. What was your favorite late night game. last night? >> Oh, all of them. I I can't even. remember. There are so many good ones. >> Yeah. Out here in Pacific time zone, too. It's basically just, you know, midnight's 3:00 a.m. and it can really. catch up to you. I I We're going through. the schedule. We've been on Pacific time. zone and Central time zone for basically.
everything but Indiana and Philly last. week. So, >> been a hell of a run here. Shout out to. Indiana getting a win. I mean, 60 for. 60. What a crazy ending there. Minnesota. kid hits one of the biggest kicks I've. ever seen in my life in Indiana. During. homecoming, you beat Iowa a week before. that. What do you got? Oh, you got to. hit an absolute Goliath ball to steal. this thing. Hits it. How you doing? Keep. it moving from 60. Pure absolute beauty. I don't know why Indiana didn't bring it.
there. I think maybe they thought it was. going to be a fake. I'm not 100% sure. Didn't bring much pressure. Kind of let. him sit back there and bomb it. And. then, hey, you're going to have to. answer. backup quarterback comes in, makes some plays, they get into field. goal range. Are they going to be able to. do another one? Insert Pat McAeier, I. believe is his name, uh, comes in from. Ireland. He had been one of three on. field goals. I think he was their. kickoff guy or something. >> like 22. >> Starting kicker, terrible operation, 0. for three on the night. And the Irish. lad comes in and knocks home a 60 to tie.
this thing and go to overtime. And in. overtime, what Indiana has done is. dominate quickly. Becker, you got it. I'm the best catcher of balls in. football. Indiana continues to win. And. uh what a night Halloween was watching. this on our phone as we're walking. around a neighborhood in Indiana. So. everybody in our neighborhood had it on. our phones basically. And when Minnesota. hits that 60 yard, it was kind of a. devastating Halloween. It was it was. there was a lot of bum bot. No way. Kid.
makes the 60 yarder. Everybody in the. neighborhood se uh celebrates. What a day. Congrats to the Hooers and. Signetti. And Sig was asked afterwards. what he knows about this team. He goes, "I'll tell you, this team figures out a. way to win, man." That's kind of what. he's been saying about this team. He. talks about them as if they're an entity. that he's not necessarily, you know, a. part of, but he oversees this team. They. just continue to win. I don't know how. I don't know why, but I love the way. they pull it off. And then this leads to.
the question, I guess, that we're all. kind of having. >> Who's great in college football? Who's. great? Who's like like in the Big 10, the first college football playoff. rankings are coming out tomorrow. This. is the AP top 25 poll. Congrats to Miami. and Georgia in Utah still undefeated. Notre Dame hosting game day this weekend. with Miami coming to town. Top four. matchup in Southbend. That's beautiful. for ball. UCLA, they haven't really had. to play anybody, but they beat. So, is. that their fault? I don't think so.
Indiana, now we're a different. quarterback. We've been battling against. everybody. BYU, they lose to UCF. UCF. gets their ass beat by Baylor. It's like. Kentucky will have a couple huge wins, then have a loss. It's like I AJ, actually, right now, I don't think we. have a clue who's great. And I'm very. intrigued to see how they fill up these. 12 spots tomorrow just as a baseline. AJ, >> yeah, the baseline of of the first. college football poll will be it'll. think how many teams gonna be so pissed. off. Like that's how it always works. We. get it. But I mean, look at UCLA number.
five in the AP top 25. like from where. they were, it's a pretty unbelievable. turnaround they have made so fast. But I. don't know. I honestly not I'm not sure. week to week who is who what's going to. happen. Like and we all know like. whoever gets in that like all that. matters whoever gets into the top 12. make that college football playoff who. is healthy and who is playing their best. ball when that time comes and there's. still a lot of games to be played. between now and then. >> Yeah. You talk about trends and who's. hot right now. It's like South. Carolina's figuring out how to play. football again. Shane Beamer was getting.
fired two weeks ago. He's getting booed. off the stadium. Now, Lenor Sers is. showcasing why he was one of the uh. projected top draft picks. Miami, they're able to hang whatever they need. to hang, but North Carolina gives them a. scare. Tone, it's really. >> How are they filling these 12 spots? Big. 10 gets two teams. Is the Big 10 going. to have two teams, three teams? Is the. SEC going to have six? How about the Big. Like, what is it's chaos right now and. trying to figure out who's what in. college ball? Yeah, I mean as far as as. far as we can remember like this is this.
is absurd because for years and years. and years we knew the great teams and. they were going to be the same four. great teams every single year and this. year is not that case. Obviously you're. looking here Jade Mayva with an. incredible play um to the freshman tight. end to beat Ohio State and like what is. Ohio State cuz the committee has to take. in Ohio State without Julian saying into. that and then yeah you talk about IU. have they looked great? No, but they're. winning football games. There is not one. great team out there. Um, and but the. the good thing is this upcoming weekend. is going to be unbelievable. There's. like 10 unbelievable games that I think.
is kind of a measuring stick weekend. that is going to be a separation into. the final three weeks of the season. When you look at all these games, a holy. war, Texas going on the road, UCLA going. on the road to Minnesota, Alabama, LSU. could be for a play that like that game. right there could be for a playoff spot. Oregon could go to the shoe and knock. Ohio State out of the playoffs. There's. so many great games this weekend. Um, you know, ending with Miami and Notre. Dame, which you'll be at on Saturday. morning. This is I'm glad that this. weekend is this weekend because I think. it's going to kind of get build a. clearer picture for us for the rest of.
the season. >> Yeah. And then is there a chance that a. four loss team after championship. weekend is in the playoffs? Yes, I think. there is. I think a three- loss team. could go to a championship game, lose. that game and be a four- loss team and. still make the playoffs because we don't. have any really clarity across the. country. You know, in the group of six. team, Boise is what everybody thinks, right? Boise. >> as of right now. >> I mean, what if they get hot? What if. they get anybody could get hot, it feels. like. And uh it's anybody's game. Miami.
Hurricanes have remained blemish free. Got a little bit of a scare there from. Bellichic though, Gumps. Yeah, our. defense is a little bit worrisome. Everyone kind of blames the secondary, but my concern is the linebackers not. really getting after it in the middle. there. It was a lot of the tight end for. North Carolina and uh Billy looking like. Joe Montana on Saturday. >> I also, one team we didn't mention at. all is Wake. They're sitting there at. number 14. They've won 517, 417, 573 in. the last three weeks. They are blowing. out teams right now. And because they're.
in the ACC and because they're Wake, they haven't been talked about yet. Now. they haven't had they took Miami kind of. down to the wire. So, we'll see. But, you know, Wake's one of those teams, too, if you want to look at a second ACC. team potentially in that situation. >> And huge congratulations to the Golden. State Valkyries. >> YEAH. >> Huge.
>> world champs. >> Yeah, >> man. I don't think anybody would have. picked the Golden State Valkyries to win. it all at the beginning of the season. No, I don't think anybody would have. >> I did. >> I actually did. >> What? >> Yeah. >> On here? >> How'd you know? >> I think someone got me. Someone was. recording it. Yeah. >> Why? >> I saw them I saw how they were working. early in camp. >> What? Who's their Who you think their. best player was? >> They were doing great. For real. Look at. them. Look how happy they look at the. culture. >> I watched El Duncan do the uh. celebration and ceremony. Feels like. they have a lot of inside jokes amongst.
their team. I like learning about team. cultures, especially championship team. cultures. Feels like the Valkyries had a. very tight group, a group that was. willing to fight. Angel Reese in her. first year with the Atlanta Dream, get. them to the finals. Are they going to be. able to go back to back next year? All. eyes are on the Golden State Valkyries. and know that the Fever are reloading. Okay, let's not even get it twisted. The. Indiana Fever are going to come back. better than ever. Congratulations to the. Valkyries on their first WNBA. championship. And in the NBA, everybody's still hurt. Is that what's. going on, Connor?
>> Yeah, a decent amount. But the stars are. still showing up. Like as much as it is. the 15% of the league or whatever the. stat is now, they're still kind of big. names. Over the weekend, uh the internet. was very loud for Jaylen Brown. Uh. again, you know, that situation in. Philly is what it is. But no, the the. league as a whole is still very. powerful. We know uh the Memphis. Grizzlies are 6 and0 which we are. reminded every other day by Bowen. sending something in that no one cares. about. But it does feel as though the.
NBA is flying high. Luca had like 45 and. 15 last night. It was unbelievable. >> Yeah, Luca seemingly doing a Okay. He. becomes the first player in in NBA. history, probably WNBA history as well. 15 plus rebounds, five plus assists, five steals, and five three-pointers. made in a game. He also scored 45. alongside. He dropped 52 what last week. or something? >> Yep. >> Didn't he 52 or something like that? >> Yakel Lendenborg had the most points for. a Warriors rookie as well. I think he. had 37 points last night.
>> Okay. So, the NBA is cooking. WNBA's. crowned their champs. College football's. got absolute chaos going on with its. first real rankings coming out tomorrow. night. And then week eight of the NFL. season wraps up with two Goliaths. Two. teams that we assume are going to be. around deep into January, maybe even. into February. Bears traveling out here. to take on the Seattle Seahawks. AJ. Seahawks are favored by three. Think. they get their running back back. We're. watching for price activation as Adam. Shfter alluded to earlier. The Chicago.
Bears might be coming into their own for. the second time here with Caleb Williams. at quarterback after his hamstring. injury sidelines him for a few weeks. This week eight has been magnificent. overtime games, comebacks, highscoring. action, huge hits, and obviously. storylines in abundance. But whoever. wins tonight, I think wins the entire. weekend is maybe best team in ball. AJ, who do you like? How do you like it? Let. me show you how you did yesterday. We're. both batting at 500. >> Okay, big game.
>> I need this one, too. If you look down. at the season record, there's a lot of. ball left, but I'm looking like the. Colts against you, AJ, you have been. seeing it very, very good. Uh let's go. to the toxic table first at Boston Conor. and at Ty Schmidt. Ty, I know you're a. Packers fan. How do you see the Bears. maybe taking on the Champs tonight in. prime time? >> Yeah, I actually do fancy the Bears. tonight quite a bit. I think everyone. just assumes that the Seahawks uh you. know, I mean, Dano said it, good on. good, but there's just something about. Caleb Williams and I'm very interested. to see how Jeff Simmons kind of changes. that defense, but I like what Fargo.
said. I mean, he he mentioned it, you. know, hey, it might be. Listen, I know. that they play in Seattle and they're. used to it, but they call it bear. weather for a reason. So, uh I actually. am going to take the Bears in the. points. >> Okay. So, Ty Schmidt says the NFC North. is going to show up against the reigning. Super Bowl champs. Con man, how do you. like it? >> Uh I mean, kind of similar to Ty, the. Patriots just played the Bears, so I've. watched them last week and they looked. really, really good. But Patriots have. also played Seattle and when it gets to.
uh that kind of area, you know, that. entire stadium lifting up, we talk about. it being bare weather. I I think if it. kind of turns a little bit weatherwise, that's actually Seattle Seahawks weather. really. You mentioned kind of Mike. McDonald's, you know, can you envision. it when it is late in January and it's. raining and it's cold and they're. uncomfortable, but we're, you know, right where we're supposed to be. I feel. like it's going to be Seattle with the. three. Uh could end up being the perfect. number. That three is a little fickle, but Charban is back. Who knows if you.
see Price, but Charbanet JS the best. wide receiver in football. Sam Darnold. got hot last week again in what now he's. going to have more time because Quinton. Nelson's playing uh guard for him. So I. fancy the Seahawks at home. They made. the Chiefs look like a bad football team. last week. >> Yeah, we got to remember what this dark. side defense is like to other teams. Caleb and Ben Johnson, super geniuses. I. like the way they play, but I also love. the way McDonald, you know, drench gang. down there in Indiana. You're not just. covered, you're drenched, okay, let's go.
to one half of the hammer. >> Cowboys AP Tone. Tone, who do you like. tonight? >> I've got these teams uh as a coin flip. So, I'm excited. Demon War is my. favorite player to watch in the entire. NFL, and I I'm excited to watch him go. up against Caleb Williams. you know, the. additions of of Simmons to that defense. I would have easily taken Seahawks last. week before this happened because I. would have thought they would have ran. the ball against that Bears Dline, but. uh the difference is it's in Seattle, so. I'll take Seattle. >> Okay, so we got two Seahawks, one Bears.
AJ, we do have a correction, too, on the. record, and I know you don't like this. >> Oh, no. >> I took the Lions, you took the Vikings. Dirty gave you a win on that one. I'm. seven and five. You're five and seven. So, >> yeah, that that's tough. That's tough. Shout out. Uh. >> I thought I went back and did not take. the Colts, but I guess I will trust the. graphic. I thought I took the Colts. >> We also have We have another one. This. graphic's all. >> Yeah, Pat, you took the Chiefs. They.
lost. Ho, you took the Broncos. Scratch. this entire graphic. So, we're still. >> We're tied. >> Okay, so we're tied again. >> Yeah, you guys are back to being tied. But who knows? We got a double, triple, quadruple, whatever. Five times. Check. this thing. >> I know. Yeah. Yeah. I wrote them down. I. have I've seen that graphic six times. this morning. Come through the group. >> You write those down every week? >> Yeah. Every single week. >> I should have corrected it a little bit. I don't think this one's right either. I. guess. >> this is the wrong one. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. We swapped the bottom. Okay. So,
AJ, we are we're back to being tied. >> Oh, we're back to where we started. >> We're good. >> Not the same way. But hey, outcome. oriented business. Doesn't matter how we. get here. We are tied. >> Halloween weekend. >> Uh AJ who great weekend by the way. I. had so much fun with McKenzie, man. >> Trick or treat. >> This This is right either. >> Same thing with Pat. I actually was. telling talking to AJ earlier. I said it. was so cool being Saturday in a. neighborhood when IU was playing and. that was happening cuz everyone was. sitting in their driveways with their. TVs and that was like one of the coolest.
things of all time. >> Yeah. Minnesota hitting that kick was. devastating for the neighborhood. I. mean, heartbreaker. And then as soon as. McAteir walks out there and buries that. 60 yard, it felt like every house. celebrated at the same exact time while. we were all out there trick-or-treating, it was cool, cool weekend. Shout out to. Mackenzie. Shout out to everybody. Okay, AJ, we're tied. Uh, who do you like? How. do you like it? Got a couple Seahawks. backers back in the Thunderdome. Have a. Bears supporter as well. And Tai. Schmidt. Uh, he likes the NFC North. How.
about you, AJ? >> I I love both these teams. I think. they're both very, very good. But I. think it is Seattle weather. It is not. bear weather. I think this will be. Seattle weather tonight. That defense. will roll and I think Sam Don will do. just enough to get the win uh by. probably about six points. So, give me. the Seahawks minus three at home. >> Okay, you got the Seahawks minus three. at home. I'll make my pick on Monday and. I count them. >> There you go. >> All right. >> I'm going to have to think about it. though cuz I really wanted to do what. you had, but I thought I was seven and. five all of a sudden because the Lions. thing and then I realized we're. >> Usually works out though when you're.
forced into taking it the opposite of. me. It usually works out for you. Oh, >> Seahawks are your team, man. >> They are. >> Yeah, you're right. I know, but I can't. pick them because he just. >> Nothing wrong with the tie. >> Yeah, true. >> Maybe. >> I don't know where I'm at. I need wins. >> Take take the uh take the team total. over or something. >> JSN touchdown. >> All right, let's figure we'll figure it. out. Uh let's take a break on the other. side. We got all the overreactions from. the fans. A tie. How were the. overreactions? >> Uh very good today. Very good today. a.
lot of tentpole teams in the NFL who. just had dog shy performances yesterday. So that's always good. >> Nice. >> Let's not take a break then. If they're. really good, I'm excited. That makes me. excited. That's the first time TA has. said that in a few weeks. >> Yeah. I personally think over the last. because it's kind of the just the same. thing. A team wins and it's like insert. team, you know, we're going to the Super. Bowl. When a lot of teams either have. bad losses or, you know, get their asses. kicked, fans get really pissed. And. today I actually felt like there was a. little bit of juice and a little bit of.
heat. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, I put out a tweet this morning. saying, "Hey, listen. We've arrived at. another magical overreaction Monday. Why. don't you use a tweet uh as your therapy. session as an NFL fan? Let it all out. You won't be judged." Actually. celebrated. All you got to use is the. hashtag overreact. >> But this one's from in the Thunderdome. This one's from Boston Connor. Uh # I. don't want to overreact. There's been gritty wins in the history. of ball. But the Bucks winning without. throwing a pass is assen.
must have been one of the worst watches. in the history of the NFL Sundays. But. that doesn't matter. It's a freaking. hard ass league, man. Just get the win. and move on to the next week. Amen. Con. man, the weather was ass. Watching it. might have been ass, but what a gritty. tough win for that Bucks defense and. offense. >> Yeah, gritty tough win. And it's a. divisional win, so they mean even more. But yeah, I couldn't even imagine having. to be a fan of the Falcons or the Bucks. and putting this on on Sunday at 1:00. and actually watching the entire thing. Just a brutal, brutal experience. I'm. sure four picks for Penn. The Falcons uh.
X section is once once again back. I saw. some pretty pretty egregious tweets that. probably shouldn't be read by these. eyes, but they were and they were. hilarious. But good on the Bucks. They. could win in any way. And the fact that. they won without completing a pass is. pretty cool. I'm just glad I didn't have. to watch it. Or, you know, and shout out. to the 500 or so people in that stadium. Th those people love ball. >> Yeah, they certainly do. They got a a. chance to see their team do something.
that hasn't been done since uh BC. You. know, that's before Christ. So, shout. out to them. And uh I appreciate the. fact that you're saying that it sucks. that you have to watch this game. Took. the Colts off the four box first time. long time yesterday. >> Good move. took them off the way. Had to redo it. Had to rebuild them. Get them off of. there. First time I've done that in a. long time. We got nine games left still. Okay. We got nine more weekends. >> of That's what I'm wondering. Can we. just not send anybody out there? Because. at this point, if we were to trade or.
going to trade Jonathan Taylor, if he. gets hurt, >> screwed. >> Yeah. >> Not that we're Josh DS. Are we trading. him? I guess he requested a trade. If he. gets hurt, >> they're screwed. >> You think they wanted to make those two. look bad on that play? >> We put a lot of hope in guys that are. probably not going to be Colts. >> Yeah. Hold on. Danny Dives trip JT here. on purpose. >> Oh, is that what started that? Did Danny. Dodge trip him?
>> Just a full comedy of errors. Hey, that's early. Look at that. Second. quarter 7 nothing only. This would go on. to be 42-7. It was only 7 nothing here, you know. And both those guys probably. not going to be Colts for much longer. You know, you really wonder like how. much of these guys really I don't know. >> I'm thinking about the community and. stuff. I just don't know. I guess when. you don't win, good luck to everybody. Let's go to. another overreaction. This one's from. Mitt. You know, he's one of the boys. fans. # I don't want to overreact, but.
>> it's over for the boys. Run defense. non-existent. Everyone in the secondary. looks confused. And the pass rush is. lackluster to say the least. GP. disappeared for the first half and CD. won Ghost in a second. Dak is never. winning a Super Bowl and his season is. over. Blow it the [ __ ] up. That's his. mid. Okay, that's a rational Cowboys. fan. Let's go to the next overreaction, shall we? I feel like a lot of Cowboys. fans probably thinking that way, Ty. Schmidt. >> Yeah, for sure. Uh the only there's some. really good ones. The only problem with. most of the C a lot of the Cowboys. overreaction is just littered with.
spelling errors and grammatical errors, so they don't make any sense, so we. can't use them. Um, but yeah, all. Cowboys fans are pissed. >> All right, let's get to some uh outside. of Thunderdome thoughts. This one's from. AJ Nords Lee. That's Nard Dog69. # I don't want to overreact, but the. Indianapolis culture, the butthole of. the NFL. >> All they do is produce shite [ __ ] I'm. done being a fan of an organization that. has no will to win. From players to the. front office. Write that one, Don,
Carly. A lot of people wondering what. Carly's been doing down there on the. sideline now that there's a uh. >> a lot of losses happening in a row. If. we're doing something the same exact way. every single week and expecting. different results, that seems like. something that has not happened for a. long, long time. We got a lot of good. players on that football field. The fact. that we continue to lose. Something's. got to change. Something's got to give. Hopefully Carly is able to get to the. bottom of it. But I agree, buddy. We're. worse than the worst team in the NFL. We. are the worst team in the NFL right now. >> Yep.
[ __ ]. We'll get it right, AJ. >> at some point. Yes. Mhm. >> It's not an easy thing to do. Just. >> Well, actually, no. There's no guarantee. you ever get it right to be honest with. you. Like, we don't know. Like, there's. no. >> And we know it's been, you know, ever. since Andrew Luck abruptly retired, it's. been you've been chasing, been trying to. figure it out. But that's uh Yeah, there's no guarantee. Like, that's the. thing. It's it's a hard ass league, man. We know that. >> It certainly is. And Carly, Kaylin, and. Casey haven't had to do this ever. before. I know.
>> So, we genuinely don't know. I have. faith that they'll be able to get a good. sense of feel and all of Carly's. research from the sideline will maybe. help her pick somebody that doesn't. suck, but it's like, let's say we get. the hires right. Are we going to be able. to get the players right? Cuz it feels. like we did get the players right and we. still still weren't able to win. I I. just it's not good. I don't like any of. it. Let's move along. Let's go to. underpaid. This guy needs more money. #. I don't want to overreact, but. stay in school. Jeremiah Smith, one more.
year at Ohio State will be better for. your career and life than playing for. the bumbass lifeless Chargers. Don't. come until her butt is cheating again. Mike McDonald's is flipping burgers. Joama bin Horty. >> Oh boy. Jeez. >> He's behind bars. This guy got bin Laded. and Osama. That's how they feel over. there at times. Yeah, I mean this this guy was he was. not happy. I got a good chuckle out of. Josama Ben Hortiz. So, uh but yeah,
they're not happy. Hey, same same deal. every year. You know, how many times can. you make excuses for all your linemen. getting injured and uh it was just, you. know, nice little icing on the cake to. have uh the Mike McDonald, you know, uh. flipping burgers, wearing a McDonald. employees uniform. So, yeah, I mean, it's kind of just the same thing every. week. Man, it Oh, boy. Would it be tough. to be a Chargers fan right now? >> Yes, it certainly would. I just said the. Colts are the worst team in the league. I'm sorry, Chargers fans. I do. apologize. I guess we are riding. alongside life in the shite hole.
alongside of you. And that tweet is a. perfect example of AI being so good in. the hands of people who have really good. brains who never knew they could do that. again. And if this guy can think of. Josama bin Hortized, he can certainly. think of good graphics to create with. chat GPT. Thank you for participating. We are sorry Chargers Chargers fans. Let's go to the Yeet and Yenszer at. Rbby76. Hey, holding up the shotgun there. Hash. I don't want to overreact, but.
>> the Steelers are the hottest team. Big. Mike's parents are going to have the. best seat in the house for the Super. Bowl parade. This O line drinks from the. Alagany River. Jaylen Warren is a. bowling ball with teeth. Stairway to. seven is near. Here we go. Sailors. >> Here we go. >> Tone, are you with the yeet and yenzer. here, pal? >> Yeah, it feels like it feels like the. good old days. Um, you know, the offense. and defensive line um are playing with. their hair on fire. They talked about.
them drinking out of Alagany and even. the Yagany. Um, it's finally like. they're playing Steeler football again. Big Mike brought that back. He knows. what that's like and it feels really, really good. They are tackling people. through the earth, uh, through the. whistle. offensive line is dumping. people on their heads. Yeah, it feels. really good to be a Seeer fan again. >> Yeah, it does. It feels like they can go. on and win it. Stats are saying when. they've started this hot before, they've. gone on and hoisted it and had a. confetti shower at the end of it all. Let's go to the next one. This one's.
from Joey Kennedy. The fourth, there's. been three before. Hash I don't want to. overreact, but. >> was that Garter Mchu or football Jesus? Messiah sent by the football gods to. Arizona to finally get Jake Brassette. out of town. See you never buddy. Mhu. mania is running wild in the desert. brother. 10 and seven playoff win. Brand. new. >> Cardinal. >> baby. A lot of big wins for Michael. Floor. Feels like they're putting up a. good fight. Gardner Mchu is a stud.
We've always said it. Is he enough to. rally a team to make the playoffs as the. Arizona Cardinals? Who knows? I believe. Joey Kennedy thinks there's a chance. AJ, what says you? Yeah, I think with. Gardenner Mitch there's always a chance. We know that. Now the question is what's. it going to be like when Gardner is, you. know, the assumed starter coming into. the next two, three weeks. How do uh how. do defenses try to attack him? But I. have faith in Gardner. I I love dudes. that are that are gamers. Guys that are. just gamers and get it done and find a. way. And that's what I feel like Gardner. has been going all the way back to. probably when he was 5 years old. The. guy was just coming in slanging the ball.
like this. >> So you're saying that when defenses are. preparing for Gardner Mure might look a. little bit different than what this. fourth quarter looked like uh against. the Cowboys. Yeah, it's definitely. possible. I'm not saying he like he's. not a completely different quarterback. than Jacobe Brassette. It's not like. you're going from like a triple triple. option guy to a drop back passer, but uh. yeah, I think it's it's mightily. different when they have a full week to. prepare for whoever is going to be in. there. Now, I'm not saying Gardner's. going to take a step back. It's just. going to be uh a little more challenging. probably. >> I love Mshoe Mania still running wild.
con man. He was down there in. Jacksonville selling headbands. He came. to the Colts, almost won the AFC South, made it to a Pro Bowl. This guy just. keeps doing what he keeps doing. Mchu is. special. I think we need to respect it. Uh Connor. >> Yeah, absolutely respect it. And you. mentioned like Jacksonville with Mchu. It felt like he was maybe becoming like. a I don't want to say gimmick, but like. you the headbands and the mustaches and. everything. And then I don't know the. last what five, six years he's just kind. of been all football all the time. He's. not in the van driving around doing.
stuff and posting on social media like. he's just honed in on playing. quarterback and that's why he's still in. the NFL and he's still getting chances. cuz they they really did have no hope. whatsoever. Jacobe Brassette starts the. second half, they go three and out and. then Mu comes in touchdown touchdown. touchdown touchdown. Like it really is. remarkable. Hats off to the guy and for. them to miss that extra point and then, you know, kick the punt the ball in. overtime to get the ball back and then. still go down and uh win kick the game.
winner. Just hats off to Mchu, Chad. Ryland to him and Michael Flo, I believe. in him. >> Great bounce back for Ryland. Ryland has. had such an incredible year thus far. That missed extra point could have been. the only thing he would have been. remembered for. The fact that the boys. got him another opportunity and he. knocked it through. Huge win for the. Cardinals. Now, let's talk about a team. that has only one loss. And boy, it. sounds like their fans are uh are maybe. in shambles. This is from Gambling. Stormtrooper at Minnesota Craig. # I. don't want to overreact, but.
here comes the downfall of the Vikings. They're frauds. No way in hell should. they be top of the NFC North. Kyler. can't do it. KC lost his magic. And now. is the time to rebuild. Trade everyone. Skull my ass. AJ, I love fans. I love it. so much. They were undefeated going into. the weekend, but we all saw the. offensive troubles. So, whenever the. Lions were able to kind of take. advantage of that and get a big- time. win, I think Vikings fans with their. eyes and bodies have been saying, "This. isn't real. This isn't real." And then. they got shown that and now they're. acting as such. Do you agree?
>> Yeah, I do agree. I I would assume. before this game, yeah, like you said, the fans are saying, "This isn't real. This isn't real." They're probably. saying, "This is not sustainable. When. does like what do they say? When's the. other shoe drop?" And we figure out who. we really are. I think we uh all it took. was one one tough loss to get people. really feeling that way. But I'm not. sure which way the Vikings going to go. They're one way or the other and it will. be very interesting to see if they do. add a quarterback. >> Ty, what were the Vikings fans uh. overall sentiment? Was this very similar. to what everybody was saying? >> Yeah. A lot of people tired of Kyler.
Murray. A lot of, you know, people. calling Kevin Oonnell Kevin O man uh. with his offense. Yeah. Didn't love. that. >> Didn't love that. But it was a lot of it. was pretty much just like it doesn't. matter how good the defense is. If you. score 17 points on us like we there's a. good chance that we're going to lose the. game. >> Crazy to think. >> What about Carl Wentz? Why do they want. to trade for a guy? They got Carl Wentz. sitting right there. >> cuz they've seen the roller coaster. >> I didn't even think about Carson Wentz. being on that team. That's on me. Sher. was very defined about why would they. want to trade for another quarterback.
It's like I don't know. It feels like. that's the piece they've been trying to. fill. I don't know. Maybe Kyler gets good though. We know. Kyler has it in him somewhere. We know. he has it in him somewhere. He leaves. the Cardinals out there winning games. Ah, I don't want to get into that. Let's. go to the next one. Rusty Shack at the. real Caleb 16. There's a fake one. This. is the real one. # I don't want to. overreact, but Coach Reed is one of the. greats, but his old ass needs to call it. quits. >> His walrus looking ass lost to Chiefs. that game last night. Maybe it's time to.
put down the playbook and the. cheeseburger. while he's at it. Jeez Louise, they don't have a false start. They win. that game, AJ. Is that what uh you're. saying for Andy Reid or is there a. little bit to this? Maybe Andy Reid has. lost his fast ball in the big moments. >> No, I don't think Andy Reid has lost his. fast ball. I mean, that's just this just. tells you where the standard is for the. Kansas City Chiefs like they're expected. to win the Super Bowl every single year. now. And if they lose one game, everyone. wants to uh fire everybody and say one. of the the greatest coaches of all time. is uh doesn't have it anymore. So, no,
I'm I'm not worried about the Chiefs. >> Right knee twitch there. uh saves the. Denver Broncos. Chiefs end up losing. Shawn Peyton and Bo Knicks continue. their historic run and Chiefs fans are. saying, "Get Andy Reid the hell out of. my face. I'm done with it." A lot of. season left, I guess. TBD on it all. This one's from Aiden Silverman at. sylvie_cards. # I don't want to. overreact, but. the Ravens season is over. No Lamar, no. wins. The O line is abysmal without.
Vega. And the defense is absolute. >> sh. 44 news ago. The only thing we can do to. have a chance to make the playoffs is to. trade for an elite quarterback named Joe. Flacco. Marlon Humphrey podcast. obviously keeps people guessing. We like. Marlon Humphrey. We appreciate what he. does, but man, when you lose, it gets. really loud over there. AFC North has a. couple great teams and a couple teams of. questions. Tone, is this guy is Aiden. right to say give up on the Ravens.
unless they trade for Joey Flacco? >> I mean, it's got to be so frustrating to. be a fan of the Ravens because Lamar has. he's obviously been one of the best. quarterbacks in the league uh since he's. come into the league and to not have a. Super Bowl and to have all the blown. fourth quarter leads and now injuries. are catching up and like you have. nothing to show for anything at this. point. It has it just has to be very. very frustrating for a Ravens fan. because you've been so good for so long. Um, and it's it just hasn't worked out. in the end. Um, I Yeah, you know what? I.
I I feel I feel bad for the Ravens. I. really do. >> Wow. >> I'm sure you do. You're very happy to be. where you're at with the Steelers. Let's. go to the next one. This is from Patton. and Payton Law at Zack Blandon. # I. don't want to overreact. >> The heart attack horses strike again. We. need to start saying it. The Broncos is. still the Broncos. Keep doubting us. Bo. Knicks will keep winning when it. matters. Now give us Jonathan Taylor. >> and it's a wrap. Haven't even thought. about the Broncos. They 20 running wild.
for the Denver Broncos all over the. place. Shawn Payeyton and Bo Nicks able. to get the job done. I love that this. guy saying uh the Broncos is still the. Broncos cuz last year the Broncos made. it to the AFC Championship and in that. AFC Championship didn't have their. quarterback. The move to Davis We uh Web. as the co uh play caller was certainly. uh a bit of a bummer for all of us who. saw Bon Knicks in the Broncos as a. rising tide. After this win though, it's. hard not to get excited about them. again. Connor, are you worried about.
this Denver Broncos team heating up in. an AFC that sees Drake May going as. well? >> Uh no, not at all. Not even a little. bit. I'm still probably a little more. worried about the Chiefs, but the. Broncos, I mean, this guy, he he kind of. mentioned it. They're still missing a a. piece or two on offense. You know, as a. fan of a team that also has a very. complete team that's been injured. That's that'd be my biggest worry when. it comes to Denver. You know, Wadd and. Sutton need to keep them healthy. But if. Shawn Payeyton and Bon Knicks do. continue to go, it will be a challenge.
to go all the way to Mile High because. it is very tough to play there. >> Yeah, I uh I'm I think the Broncos are. going to just continue grinding teams. out here. I I think it's a skill. I. don't think it's uh something that's. luck. Now, the football gods have not. necessarily blessed all the teams in the. past that have stolen one-score games. Broncos are in the middle of their run. Maybe they continue to keep it going. Let's go to Matthew Bevington atmatt. Bevington. # I don't want to overreact, but. football sucks.
The Browns gave me hope and then they. drop a [ __ ] and failed to show up. against the Steelers. Browns are back to. Browning. I tried to have a second team. this year and they suck. Tampa Bay look. like the Browns. I'm done. Tampa just. got a one. A win, Matthew. This is good. news, not a bad news. But the Browns. fans giving up after that loss to the. Steelers. Fascinating stuff. It's almost. like they were waiting until they could. mant instead of Mon. AJ, should the. Browns fans be giving up on them? >> No. You need to lose a couple more games. before you officially give up on the.
season. I mean, think of think of where. you're at now if you're a Browns fans. compared to what it's been like lately. Like, you you still should feel pretty. good about it. And I think this Steelers. team is much better than others others. may talk about and like eight sacks no. matter what. Like that's not all on the. Browns. That's a lot of the a lot of the. Steelers absolutely coming after them. and having a good scheme and executing. it. So no, I think the Browns will be. okay. >> Well, and there was a little chirpy. chirpy from the Cleveland Browns, you. know, uh verse, brand new to the. rivalry. And the Steelers fans seemingly. gobbled all that or Steelers players.
gobbled all that up and took it as real. motivation. whenever like four or five. guys all reference the same thing, it's. like, oh, that made its way into the. locker room and that was certainly. utilized as motivation for the boys and. I hope that type of energy continues, Tone Digs, cuz it was fun to watch the. Steelers play like this yesterday. >> Yeah, it was awesome to watch. I opened. my Instagram this morning and every. single Steelers player had the him. getting dumped first getting dumped on. his head on their story. So, yeah, they. they heard it this week. They used it. this week. They got after Deshawn. They.
only allowed them 34 rushing yards. They. allowed 18 rushing yards last week. So. yeah, the Dline heard it and uh they got. after him. >> Steelers the top of the AFC North. Let's. head to the NFC North. David Rocky at. hos_buddy. # I don't want to overreact, but. these Lions are putting together a run. Everyone started a season saying our. window was closed, but Gibbs Golf and. the boys have slammed that thing all the. way back open. Go Lions. We the Kings of. the North. #1 pride. Once again, waiting.
on an update about Jack Campbell, but. what the Lions have done. Jared Goff is. in an MVP conversation. Jir Gibbs, potentially offensive player of the. year, and the defense that we thought. was a civ was able to get some big time. stops against the Vikings. So much so. that they're wondering if the Minnesota. Vikings should trade for a quarterback. Good for you, Foxy. The window seemingly. all the way back open for the Lions. Yeah, I'd be lying to you guys if I. thought the window I was questioning. where we were in that status there. But. this game right here tells me that this. team can make a run and win a Super Bowl.
because the offensive line was so good. and we were able to run the ball when. they knew we were going to run it. That. reminds me of the Ben Johnson days. And. when you can do that, it's a team I can. trust. And then I got to give credit to. the defense. They're playing a lot. better. And then also offensive. coordinator Drew Ping dialing up insane. plays like this one. And look where. Almond Ross is set up here. I don't know. where he got this one from, but quick. screen over. Third down. We get the. first. It leads the points. It's been.
awesome to see. >> on that particular play. Yeah, Chip. Kelly's bringing it back. I think he was. four deep at the tight end position uh. this past weekend. Rand sent a guy wide. open. Canadian Football League obviously. has this. Arena League has this. This is. a very good throw by golf. >> Yes. >> And a great catch, too. It's very tough. to execute that play. >> Yeah. Yeah, you got to hit him in full. speed. If that's behind him. Yeah, right. That has to be literally in. stride. You have a quarterback that can. hit people that are moving targets. You. can put it in a bucket. What a play. design. Hopefully they continue to cook.
because we remember when Ben Johnson was. there. This was a normal. Every third. down they had something special. Every. red zone they had something special. That's where we all got captivated with. the Lions. Maybe they're all the way. back. There is an update about Jack. Campbell coming out from the Detroit. Lions Twitter account at Lions. Jack. Campbell continues to rest and recover. at a local hospital. Preliminary. indications are positive and out of. respect for Jack and his family, we will. not share further information at this. time. Okay, I like to hear the word. positive. Obviously, we will all keep an. eye out for any updates out of Detroit. That is a scary situation. Our thoughts.
and prayers are with everybody over. there. AJ, you're the absolute man. Thank you for traveling out to the. Thunderdome, brother. >> Appreciate it, man. Have fun tonight. It. should be a great game. >> Yeah. Shout out to the Compton Country. Club getting a hat that can fit your big. ass head. >> Yeah, one or two one or two snaps on the. back. Yeah, not a double XL, that's for. sure. >> We appreciate that to talk to the table. Good work, boys. Happy overreaction. Monday. >> I appreciate it. You too, brother. Go. see. >> Hey, you too, AP Tone Boys in the back. Great work, Dumpy. Gumpy, thank you for. the hospitality up here in the Pacific. Northwest, pal. >> It's been a great time out here. Good to.
be back on the Pacific Northwest, my. friend. >> A lot of wood in a lot of the. restaurants. A lot of wood. >> Old school. >> A lot of wood. Had some chowder last. night. Had crab cakes last night. We. went to Duk's Seafood. Steve's friend's. dad is Duke. took us by there obviously. Yeah, Steve's got connections around. everywhere. You forget Stanford does. actually have connections everywhere. >> True. >> Yeah, >> he's Stanford. Steve. >> Yeah. >> He loves hopes. >> You guys go to the Blney Stone. >> We drove by the Blney Stone actually.
That was almost Sunday Night Football. Instead, we went to Duke Seafood because. Stanford Steve got us set up up there. But. >> it's beautiful up here. It's glorious. And tonight should be a spectacular. wrap-up to week eight of the NFL season. as the Bears travel out to Lumen Field. to take on the Super Bowl champion. Seahawks. All right, I'll see you guys. tomorrow back in the Thunderdome. Can't. wait to get back to you boys. Uh to. everybody that set up here, thank you so. much. Great work. Incredible work. making. It is cold as hell up here. So, thank you for sitting through. Thank you. for making this happen. And uh let's.
enjoy the hell out of this life. Congrats to everybody that won. >> If you lost, sorry about it. And if your. team's absolute shite, there's still a. lot of season left. So figure out how to. enjoy the hell out of misery. That's. kind of what life is, isn't it? Finding. the good. >> amongst all the bad. >> And hopefully we'll continue to be able. to do that because all of. you. let us do it. We love. you. >> We appreciate you.
>> All right. We'll see you. >> Okay. Yeah. Tomorrow. All right. Be a. friend. Celebrate something nice by. change of life. We're singing together. Team on Me. Monday night countdown 6:00. Eastern. We appreciate everybody for. watching. Should be a hell of a night. here in Seattle as we celebrate the [ __ ]. out of ball. Team on me. Team on three. for the good of all, baby. 1 2 3. Goodbye.
