[Music]. [Music]. The following program is a collection of. stooges talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic,
informative. The opinions expressed on. this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans into the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. Hey, what? Let's go. This show stinks and the fact that you. listen, we are very, very thankful.
Off the line with a gorgeous assist. The. alltime leading tackler for the Green. Bay Packers, you stop. Damn it. Your friend, tell a. friend something nice could change their. life. Hello beautiful people and welcome to. our humble abode. The thunder out on. this feelgood Friday May 30th 2025. This.
program begins. now are happening all around us. And. yes, the Pacers lost to the New York. Knicks last night in Madison Square. Garden. All New York Knicks fans that I. know have sent me a text over the last. 12 hours saying, "Nicks in seven, Knicks. in seven, Knicks in seven." And it's. wild in these seven game series, the. best of seven series is that these. sports have, more specifically the NBA, all you got to do is win one game and. all of a sudden you're back in this. thing. Wait a minute, did we find it?
Are we going to be the team that is. going to make every shot? And are the. Pacers going to become a team that can't. knock down a shot at all? Are the Pacers. going to become a team that doesn't try. to run as fast as they try to run in the. games that they win? or the Knicks going. to be the ones that are going to control. the tempo going forward. That's what. their fans can literally say on this. feel good Friday because of what. happened last night in Madison Square. Garden. They were the one that dictated. the entire game. They were the ones that. were dominant and we were the team that. tapped out at the very end. Oh yeah. Sub. Tyrese out, sub the entire crew out. Rick Carile basically lets the New York.
Knicks fa faithful have a final two. three minutes up 16. just get a chance. to take the victory lap, take the. tractor another round, and take a chance. to maybe win this Eastern Conference. final. Jaylen Brunson goes bananas yet. again. Cat continues to do his thing. Josh Hart even made some plays. And this. New York Knicks team is the real deal. They're one of the final four teams in. the NBA. With that being said, Pacers. and six. This thing comes back to. Indiana on Saturday. And I know Madison. Square Garden had to be an incredibly. wild experience. I wish I could have.
been there last night. I wish you could. had some scheduling conflicts. Had an. incredible opportunity to introduce. Jelly Roll at the big ass stadium tour. in Pittsburgh last night. That was an. honor of a lifetime for Jelly Roll. I. will do anything when cuz when Big Night. Out was happening, I called Jelly Roll. I said, "Hey, I'm having a show in. Pittsburgh. Want to give away some. money? Want to do some stuff? Will you. be a part of it?" He says, "Say no more, Bubba. I'll be there." I said, "Jelly. roll. I need to pay you for this cuz I. know there's probably amount of money. that you could be making instead of. coming to Pittsburgh to do my show." He. said, "No problem, Bubba. No money. needed." I said, "Well, I'm going to. donate the money." He said, "Sounds. good, Bubba. I'll donate as well. He.
matched the donation. So, it's like what. a Jelly Roll has done for me. I felt. obligated as a friend of his uh to do. the same for him in Pittsburgh last. night at his big ass stadium tour at PNC. Park. It was phenomenal. Jelly Roll. plays for an hour. Okay. Straight banger. banger banger banger banger banger. banger like Sheamus. It it bingo. But. it's just heat after heat after heat. Cover promo. cuts a promo about. Pittsburgh. Great one. How thankful he.
is in this entire thing. How lucky he. understands he is. How much he. appreciates everything. Banger. Plays. for an hour. We get a chance to hang out. with him afterwards. Incredibly honored. that I got to be a part of it. Then I. get to watch Post Malone do his thing. First time I've ever been to a Post. Malone show. And I'm going to say this. guy's a rockstar. Mhm. Guy is a rock. Hey, showman. Hey, he is We are out to. doing it. He is in that music. I mean, he is in this. He's I see the videos of. him dancing and getting lost up on.
stage. When you go to show, it makes. sense. From the moment he enters, he is. inside of those songs that he is sing. I. mean, he is there's a lot of like I. mean, he is Oh, yeah. I'm telling you, this dude is a rock star. He He is so. entertaining. It's just him on this big. ass stage. 40ome,000 filled up PNC Park. And as I was in the uh annals of the PNC. park, I knew there was a chance I'm. probably never going to be allowed back. in there with our relationship with the. ownership and everything like that. So I. was taking photos of everything. So. incredibly nice. Stadium so incredibly.
nice. The view nice posty spent some. money on uh maybe some Zan belly. fireworks. Lot of fireworks. A lot of. fire. I mean that show was love that. banger. I mean that show was absolutely. awesome. So very lucky to be a part of. that. But as Jelly's down there. performing, giving his testimony and. crushing and as Posty's doing his thing. within the music, we're watching Nick. Spacers on a little bit of an iPad, little cell phone, uh, next to us. Had. good service, too, by the way. It was. great. And all I could think of the.
entire time was Bruce Brown, Michael. Cole, even Michael Chay sent me a text. last night just with two emojis. One of. these right here saying the seven. Then. you look at the celebrity row that they. had over there. Okay. I don't know if. they're paying $171,000 a ticket. If. they are, congrats to all of them. Seems. like they have afforded the opportunity. to be able to do that. TJ McConn Miles. Teller, I seen him there. Oh, yeah. Saw. his wife there as well. I sent a text. I. go, "Uh, thought you were a Philly fan.". Excuse me. You're there for the Pacers. is what I said. As soon as that is that.
my is that this game? Hey, you're a. Pacers fan. Is that what we're doing? He. responds to me, don't want to talk about. it. Uh, and I go, "Oh, no." I go, "Wait. a minute, Miles." He goes, "I'm here as. a guest of New York Knicks fans and uh. potential ownership or whatever." I'm. like, "Miles, you need to stand up for. the Pacers in there. You could be the. turning point of this entire thing. You. could be the lynch key of this entire. thing, Miles." Nope. He's there with. Shalamé. Kylie Jenner obviously in the. building. Ben Stiller's rocking. Spike.
Lee was there. They were all having the. time of their lives as they should. It's. a very, very cool time to be a Knicks. and a Pacers fan. This Eastern. Conference Finals has been electrifying. and it comes back to Indiana uh tomorrow. night. Cannot wait to see how the Pacers. respond. Cannot wait to see if Tibs and. the boys can continue to put the. pressure on the Indiana Pacers. Does. this go to seven like all New York. Knicks fans are hoping for. I don't. think so. But it's possible. It is. possible. True. Congrats to the Knicks.
and their faithful big time. Hell yeah. Now, when the Knicks are playing in. Gainbridge, I believe there is going to. be some. booze. There might be some negative. things said towards the other team. I. hope not. There might be. It better not. be. That is kind of how sports work, I. think. Not if we're there. Well, now. going forward, we are going to be an. agent of only good things at sports. stuff happening, only positive cheers.
going forward because that will make. John Cougar Melon Camp. Mhm. What a. moment for John Coo yesterday. Oh, you. mean your hospitality? What's that? You. mean who's your hospitality? That's. right. In quotes like this, Mr. M. Mr. Coo me Melanchamp. I don't know what he. thought he was doing with that. particular quote tweet. I respect and. appreciate the fact that he said, "You. know what? I've made a pretty good. living over the last few years. Grand. standing higher than anybody else on. everything." Yeah. This feels like a.
good time to do that right now. And he. puts out this horrendous quote tweet. I. mean, just horrendous graphic. John. can't tell you how bad everything you. did here was. Everything. The graphic, the quote, the timing. You're two days. late, John. You're two days late. Bub. puts this thing out there. Don't even. say my name. No. John, shut the [ __ ] up. Okay. So, they. put this out. Calls me somebody. Okay. I.
am somebody. And I normally don't want. people to just get slaughtered, you. know, because I know we have a very. active following. And uh I appreciate. the hell out of those people. They are. very kind. The people that have followed. our story are the greatest people on. earth. Because there's a lot of times. they could have just said, "Nah, we're. not doing this anymore." They've stuck. with us. They are active though and they. like us, John. I know you probably talk. to people that say they don't like me, you know, and you probably read from. journal. We know who you hang and who. you listen to, John. So, you probably. read a lot of people that don't like me.
I don't think you or your team had any. idea that there's might be people that. are on my side, John. So, I hope. whenever you opened your ex account, if. it is you, you seen what everybody did. and you could have taken the angle be. like, "Hey, there's some people. attacking Pat for what he did. I'm. actually on Pat's side because we. represent this state of Indiana. We're. lucky and thankful to represent the. state of Indiana. We don't have a lot of. people pulling for us in the state of. Indiana, but you know what? I see. another young uh buck that's doing it. and I appreciate him doing it. You could. have easily done that, John. But. instead, you're trying to think you were. going to bury me. I don't think so,
John. Hey, Coug, suck it, buddy. Uh and. uh hope I get a chance to see you real. soon. I think we were probably going to. be at the same place pretty soon. Oh, yeah. I don't want any of your [ __ ]. Okay. I don't like you. I know your name. and I don't like you. Your songs are. pretty good. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Little. diddy. What's that mean? About. two American kids growing up in the hot. land. That shit's great. Song.
He's got a couple. He's got a couple. bangers. He does. He does. Coup's got a. couple. He's had a lot of success. He's. He's been a great success story for the. state of Indiana. That is my home now. And uh it's a good thing. He could have. he could have, you know, he could have. seen everybody trying to kill me for. this and kind of had my back. He goes. the opposite way. And then what happens. in turn is every human that's ever. encountered him uh sees us as a bird. call to tell their story about John. Melanchamp. And it turns out I didn't. say this, but a lot of people are. saying, "Who the hell are you to speak. about treating people right?" And uh we.
didn't say that. We're just reading the. responses to that. And uh hey Coug, have. a good one, brother. I hope uh every. sporting event you go to uh goes the. exact same way that uh game four went. and I hope your little head just. explodes because you can't take it. anymore. Talk the tables here at Boston. Conor at Ty Schmidt. What a day on X. yesterday for Coug. Yeah, I mean to be. to be quite frankly awesome cuz you. don't ever see someone miss the mark so. completely anymore. Like Coug was. thinking that everyone was going to be.
like, you know what, thank you Coug. That's not who's your hospitality. We. don't do that kind of stuff. And like. you said, I mean, yeah, Coug has some. bangers. He does. Let's not get that. twisted. Like this guy in his day was he. I mean, a heat maker. Exactly. Exactly. But I mean, we're talking tweet after. tweet after tweet after tweet after. tweet. Cuz at a certain point, you could. be like, "Well, you know, like a lot of. this could be BS." There about. 5,7500 responses all basically saying. like, "Hey, John, don't you remember. when I interacted with you and so and so.
and so?" There's a lot of those. A lot. of those. This guy this guy is a massive massive. [ __ ] What. people I don't know him from, you know, anything else, but you know, we saw 8. million views on his There's no way he. thought that thing goes out yesterday. during the show. I think like we're at. the tail end of the show and it goes out. and I'm reading it and I think I think. this got to be a joke. Yeah, I thought. it was. Then I read through it again and. it's like nope nope, keeps going and the. number of views and interactions with.
that thing just starts climbing. I see. it has 1.5 million. And I'm like, that's. a big that's a big tweet. Huge. That's a. that that is a good tweet. There's. people that see these tweets that have. like 40 million views or what that is. outliers. If you get like a million. view, a million impression tweet, that. is gigantic. Like there's a big number. This guy's at 8.3 million or whatever. right now on this thing. This thing has. just been a runaway. And I I want to be. honest, it very rarely happens. I. appreciate everybody going to bat for me. similarly. Yeah, that was awesome. Felt. like everybody was kind of on my side.
Everybody stand up unlike John Cougar. did for our stars and stripes. Yeah, bingo. We can we can talk about alleged. Thank you, Tony. You're welcome. That's. one half of the hammer. Cowboys AP Tone. We can talk about the alleged stories. that people have. We were in Lucas Oil. I mean, he put the flag he was in he put. the Colts in an interesting spot cuz. he's in a Colts suite, too. And everyone. in that suite was standing up except I. think for maybe one person that was 90. plus years old and then you look over. and Melon Camp isn't standing up. So I I. get it. those other people are telling.
their stories. One of the most respected. newscasters in Indiana, Angela Gno Gnau. Uh yeah, she um shared her two cents. She didn't really even go into it, but. she basically alluded to she's been on. TV for 24 years here in uh Indianapolis, went to IU. She's like a TV legend. Uh. she even felt that like as I was reading. this, I'm like John Coug had no idea. But I did know that that was not a good. indicator for what was going to happen. to our game. Mhm. He's pacer fan. allegedly, you know, he's lived through.
his whole life. He's basically he gets. free tickets, I think. So, he goes and. shows up at these things, takes over. entire portions. He's a little crew, too. They act like they created the. place. I've had to deal with this group. numerous times before. He's legend. though. Little diddy about. Jack sucking on chilly dogs outside. Taste freeze. Great. Like, we are saying. this. Um, but yeah, I knew it wasn't a. good indicator for what was going to. happen in the game. As I was reading, I'm like, "This is not good." And then. everything I said, "Not good." And then.
how big that got, not good. How. empowered they had to feel. Not good. Did not feel great about game last. night. Which is why during the show. yesterday, I was like, "We we lose this. one. It's all right. It's best to seven. cuz I had a bad feeling. Game six back. here in Indiana. Hell yeah. Sucking all. the house. We're going to be doing just. fine. Just fine. Melanch actually didn't. even get to see the game too cuz. allegedly in the first quarter when the. Knicks started booing, he just destroyed. his TV. Really? He said, "This is not. sportsmanship." Yeah. Basically just Are. you kidding me? Well, I thought maybe.
his high horse was so high he didn't. have his binoculars to be able to watch. the game. There's a chance there's a. chance he couldn't see all the way down. there. So, basketball's still happening. Who will the Oklahoma City Thunder take. on in the NBA finals? We shall see. The. NHL Stanley Cup finals. We know. representing the West after beating. Texas Hockey last night. The Edmonton. Oilers are back in the Stanley Cup. finals. And congrats to Conor McDavid.
and Dry Cidle and the boys for putting. on an absolute clinic against this. Dallas Stars team. Uh the goalie Otter, who we love, we've become a big fan of. He's potentially going to be Team USA's. goalie going forward, which we love. He. got pulled after two shots. Now, that. was also two goals. Y up there in. Edmonton. The coach was asked afterwards. like, "Why'd you do that?" He goes, "This guy stinks in Edmonton." Okay. Then we see two shots go by him. We. decided to make the change. It did not. help. Edmonton would still go on to win. this thing even though Dallas would. fight back a little bit. Conor McDavid. would ice the game. And now the Edmonton.
Oilers are going to the Stanley Cup. final representing the West taking on. the backto back Stanley Cup. champions. The men could be back to back. the threetime Stanley Cup final. appearance. Legends of South Florida. elbow room. regulars, ice. dominators, ladies and gentlemen from. the Florida Panthers. Matthew Kachchuck. Hey, Chucky. Chucky, what's going on,
man? What's up, guys? What's going on, guys? Thanks for having me on again. Hey, thank you for joining us. Congratulations on a big Eastern. Conference Finals dub and heading back. to the Stanley Cup finals, a place that. you guys have called home for the last. three seasons now. Looking to go back to. back, obviously would be a big deal in a. dynastic conversation. How do the boys. feel? Do you feel more healthy this year. or is at this time of year everybody. kind of feels the same exact way and. you're just used to it? Yeah, it's I mean there's bumps and. bruises along the way. Everybody's.
pretty banged up this time of year on. every team, but you know, it's what's. nice about uh you know, our team is the. depth and when guys have been in and. out. Um we've been having guys that are. able to to fill in the spots, but uh. yeah, I would say we're you know, obviously, knock on wood, but we're, you. know, pretty similar to last year with. with health going into it. So, um you. know, we're confident, but uh you know, so so is Edmonton. I'm sure they're. they're a hell of a team and and it's.
going to make for an incredible series. and not very often do you see a rematch. in in pro sports in the finals. So, I. think that it's it's the two best teams. in the league and to be honest, I I. think it's pretty clear that we're the. two best and and it's going to make for. an incredible final. Yeah, it's been fun. to watch you two get back to this point. uh obviously through the different roads. that you've had and you said it's been. pretty clear that you two are the best. teams. There's a clip coming out from. you last year talking uh I believe to. McDavid saying we'll see you again next. year do the same thing or whatever.
almost calling your shot. What is it. about that Edmonton team? Obviously we. see McDavid. Obviously we know Dry. Settle but they're just the same as you. guys. They're fast. What do you think it. is about them that makes you say that we. are the clear two best teams in hockey. at this moment? You're obviously in the. finals back toback years. Everybody's. going to talk about that. But what is it. about their team that you have so much. respect for? Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with them. going back to my time in Calgary and and. seeing a lot of those players grow. Playing against McDavid a ton. I mean, I. think that that's that's pretty much um.
you know, when you're playing against. the best player in the world, it's he's. always going to give you a challenge. each and every night. But, you know, it's not just him. They're they're a. deep team. Um they play really hard um. both ends of the ice. Their goal is. playing incredible right now. Um I think. a thing that's underrated with them is. is their defense. I mean, they make it, you know, hard to get to the net. They. block a lot of shots, all the stuff that. you got to do um to have a successful. team. And they started, you know, they. started the playoffs at, you know, down.
two games to LA and since then they've. been 12 and two. So, that's 12-2 is. incredible in the regular season. It's. almost unheard of in the playoffs. So, they're playing, you know, the best. hockey of of the year so far for them. And and it's going to be a battle for. us. you know, we're going up there to. Edmonton to start and, you know, they're. they're like I said, they're 12 and two. in the last 14. So, we got our hands. full. Um, we're going to take that. underdog mindset and mentality and and. go up there and try to do what we did. last year, I guess. Yeah, you have the. experience. Obviously, you've been able. to accomplish it. Hoisted Lord last.
year. Uh, did you see what Conor McDavid. decided to do last night that caused. quite a little bit of a stir in the. hockey tradition and hockey um. tradition? I I don't know, whatever. He. listed he lifted a Clarence Campbell. trophy last night. Last year they did. not touch this particular trophy after. winning the Western Conference and they. would go on to lose. So this year they. decided for him to touch it. Now the. crowd said, "Whoa, whoa, whoa." It was. quite a reaction. You guys, I've heard. done multiple different ways as well.
Touched it, lost, didn't touch it, win. Um, so what is the conversation? Is. there a vote on whether or not we're. going to hoist that thing after the. conference finals or how do we go about. getting to that point where Conor. McDavid did that last night? I can't remember exactly how it went. down two years ago when we when we. played ended up playing Vegas in the. final, but I think just us as captains. were talking. Um, and going back to that. year, like it was such an. accomplishment, us being an eight seed. and kind of just getting into playoffs.
and then kind of going on a uh I I. wouldn't call it a miraculous run, but. it was pretty close to it that year. Um, and so we just decided at that time like. we've earned this like let's go let's. let's touch it, let's carry it around, let's be proud of it. It didn't work. So. last year we went with uh we went with. the uh you know not to touch it and and. last year was you know very similar to. this year for us. It was kind of like. that business like it wasn't uh so much. of an accomplishment where it was you. know kind of part of the part of the.
journey for us. So um this year we just. decided to do the same thing and and. Edmonton if we were in their shoes we we. you know we changed it up last year. they're changing it up this year. It's. it's pretty natural for them to to do. that. I'm not I'm not surprised by it, but I think that's more of uh that. creates a stir with you guys with us. It. it really doesn't mean anything because. you know the Stanley Cups the final. goal. No, no, that all matters. What he. did, it all matters. I mean, we got guys. around the country for your team, I.
assume, that'll wear the same shirt. whenever they watch. And if they don't. wear the same shirt, you guys will lose. And uh even though they've worn it. during a loss before, they just didn't. wear it the right way. You know, that. that [ __ ] happens. Hockey, I feel like. you guys have a lot of those though. superstitions. There there are some guys that are. psycho with them. I am not one of them. I don't know how people could live their. life like that. I'd be so stressed out. I' I'd barely sleep if I did that. So, I. think as the years go by, you get you. get less uh you're less worried about. that stuff. And I know I am. There's. some Dan Hurley in his underwear. Yeah,
Dan Hurley wore the same underwear. through the NCAA tournament. I mean, we've heard stories about some of the. greatest of all time in hockey with what. they how they have to operate on a. day-to-day basis. For me, I got a chance. to be around uh a couple guys in the NFL. early in my career that had like uh. every day was a fool. We got to put left. sock on, right sock on, we got to do. this, we got to knock on this, we got to. do this every single time. And I'm like, what if you don't do it? What's going to. happen? Well, I'm going to get cut. And. I'm like, so are we sure if you don't. knock on this door here, you're going to.
not do your job well? Yeah, I'm not I'm. not risking it. And then just building. that up 10 years. 10 years of [ __ ] How. do you remember all the [ __ ] To your. point. Yeah, I would I'm okay with I'm. okay with the routine. Like I've got a. pretty strict routine, but once guys. start changing it up after a win or a. loss or or whatever and they they start. psyching themselves out, that that's. where I got an issue. I' I've got no. problem calling guys out for it, too. So, I think that's our team does it. pretty well, too. That's good. leadership. Now, let's talk about a new. superstition happening down there in. Florida. Go ahead, Con man. Yeah, Matty,
it feels like after every big win, you. guys are just gunning rats at my beloved. Brad Marshian. Don't hopefully he he's. appreciative of it. you know, treat him. kindly, of course, as always, but I. think it was you, Barky, and Rodriguez. at the end here after closing it out. against the Canes. How did this come to. be? Was it Marshy like, "Hey, you guys. should just fire those things at me. That's going to get me all fired up. after a win or how did you guys start. this uh routine here?". I don't I don't actually recall how it.
started because I wasn't playing in the. regular season. Like I I think Marshy. came and he played probably 10 15 games. um at the end of the regular season and. and I wasn't in him. So, uh I normally. go out I leave the bench or sorry, I. leave the ice um second to last with. Barky after a win. And once I came to. game one of playoffs, I know Marshy. picked up a few rats. I think maybe for. his kids or or for people that were. asking during the regular season and. then I know I think it started with. Rody. I think I think E-Rod shot the.
first one at him and then Barky was. like, "All right, well, if you're going. to shoot one, then I'll I'll nicely pass. one into you." And then when I came. back, we uh we started firing them at. him. So, it's been a uh it's been a fun. tradition and uh yeah, people seem to. seem to like it and it it kind of fits. uh fits what our team's all about, having fun and and uh not taking. anything too seriously. Yeah. And him. being a rat, too. I mean, it's like a. perfect you him coming to your team. seems like the perfect, you know, storm. It really does feel like he was built to.
be a Florida Panther. And now Boston. Bruins fans hear that. He was built to. be a Boston Bruin. What are we talking. about? But with the way your team is. kind of pieced together, feels like he. was a perfect addition culturally, obviously his style of play, the way you. go about doing things, and also. championship pedigree, which he has, which leads to this. Go ahead. Oh, what. are you going to say? I was going to say. born to be a Bruin, you know, but built. to win a cup with the Panthers. Oh, I. like that. I like what you just said. Absolutely. I like that, too. I like it, too. Yeah. Chuck's like, "Yeah, I'll. take that as well." Go ahead, Tone,
though. Yeah. On top of all that, Chucky, it feels like, you know, before. Marshy was got there, maybe you and Sam. Bennett and potentially some others were. king of the pests on the Panthers, and. now that Marshy's there, he is he is. kind of taken that spotlight of teams. who, you know, are dealing with him. being the pest. Do you guys have a. competition uh for who can rile up the. other team more while you guys are on. the ice? And who do you think is King. Pest of the Florida Panthers? That's tough. Ah, man. I I think that.
maybe changes from game to game and. series to series. I think that uh well. Marshy got a puck shot at him last. round. So yeah, that was why. Hey, let's. talk about that. So that was just he. takes the title for that last round. But. yeah, I don't know. I don't know. We'll. see. Maybe this round will be different, but I I feel like I got my money on. Marshy. He's he's pretty good at He's. pretty good at that stuff. And it's nice. cuz when if people aren't uh worried. about if people aren't, you know, worried about us doing, we could just go. out and play. So he but he's been a.
great addition not only for that, but. like he is such a good player and people. don't really see it too much. Like I get. to see it every day. Um whether it's the. games or practice, like he is so skilled. and so strong on the puck. And then like. you said, um about him fitting in. culturally like I I get he's you know he. was the perfect Boston Bruin for a long. time, but I don't know. He's almost born. to be a Florida Panther the way he like. on and off the ice. So, we're very we're. very happy to uh very happy to have him. Yeah, it feels like with the way your. team is built, it is a perfect.
relationship. And the fact that the. Bruins traded him there, I think he's. made a lot of the Bruins fans go, what. do we what do we what are we doing? So, we're just sending the guy to make the. champs even better who would be perfect. for them. Um, you talked about him. getting rifle a puck rifled at him in. the middle of a game after he takes a. shot at the guy. All right, we get a. chance. That's fair play. Fair play. there. And then just moments later, old. buddy at his own blue line shoots a puck. at him out of nowhere, which obviously. would turn to him going, "What? Are you. serious?" Fighting and then him getting.
kicked out, then him asking the refs if. they know bowl. Basically saying that. the refs didn't. What was your guys. reaction? Cuz afterwards it seemed like. everybody, even coach included, said. like, "We have a lot of thoughts on. this. We're going to keep them to. ourselves. We're going to keep it to. ourselves." Everybody just thought that. was like a Bush League type move in your. guys' locker room. Was there ever was. there like was there a conversation. about how we're going to handle this? Everybody kind of understand because it. felt like the entire hockey world was. like that's not supposed to happen in. hockey. That is not how this go. We'll. fight each other. We'll cross check.
every once in a while, but firing this. puck at somebody that close uh is just. kind of not acceptable. Is that an. accurate read on how everybody viewed. it? And what was your guys' convo about. it afterwards? I don't know. It was pretty greasy, but. I I mean I don't I don't really know. Like I definitely was staying away from. Marshy after that game. He was fired up, so I had to let him cool off a little. bit after that. But uh um I don't know. It was It was kind of greasy, but I. don't know. It's playoffs. There's.
there's there's [ __ ] that happens. That's that's way worse than that. And I. don't know. It is what it is. Playoff. hockey. Yeah, but you guys didn't I I. thought there was a potential five on. five fight to start the next game, you. know, just take a stand. Obviously, that. would be stupid because the penalties. and everything that would take place in. the Eastern Conference Finals, but the. way you guys beat teams down, it's just. like you guys are the bullies on the. ice. And I think that's why Marshy going. to the team is just so damn perfect. Go. ahead. Yeah, we're talking about you you. can't let you can't let that stuff take. away from what's really important, you.
know, and and that's winning the game. and advancing. you know, right now we're. we're the I guess we're the you know, with after that happening, of course, we. would love to go out there and and stick. up for a teammate and in a situation um. like that or at the start of next game. or whatever, but you got to be careful. the way you do it. Like you can't let. you know the big picture is winning and. you could take numbers and get them next. year or if that's if that's what you. want to do, but you can't let it get in. the way of what what's the goal right. now. You can take numbers and remember, hey,
you remember East Conference Finals. Yeah. A little bit more at stake then. Not able to necessarily do this right. now. We are Go ahead, Connor. Yeah, I. was going to say maybe not right now, but I mean it happened with Aaho while. you were in the penalty box, Kentucky. I. mean, everyone saw you kind of point or. look at Aaho and point your head and. then at the end of the game, you know, after it was kind of signed, sealed, delivered for you guys. I mean, you beat. the brakes off. It was awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Chuck. Yeah. I mean, I I I guess. that goes against everything I just said. about.
But um I I don't know. I I don't know. You know, I've played with Rhino for a. bunch of years. Hated to see that that. hit happen and it knocked him out for. that game. So um you know, we we're. obviously very lucky. He only was out. for one game and we got him back in full. force, but you know, never like to see. that happen and and the game was out of. reach. So decided just to I'll take the. two-minute penalty to stick up for my. teammate and got kicked out of the game. and is what it is. Yeah, that's why we.
love your team and you. Uh, I just want. to let you know. Let alone the national. at the booing. We're fighting right now. I mean, you you are everything we lack. about hockey, Chucky. You need to know. that. So, even if you're lying to our. face about how you're going to operate. things and then we counter it. immediately, we will still love you, pal. Go ahead, Ty. Chucky, how do you. guys uh either like rattle or kind of. get into Stu Skinner's cage when this. next series starts? cuz you know last. year the the last couple years that was. kind of like I I don't want to say the. downfall of the Oilers but everyone was. saying you know like hey Steu Skinner's. getable if you kind of you know get some.
momentum get some you know pucks on net. and all that kind of stuff like is there. anything you guys need to do differently. to kind of get inside his head when he. has been standing on his head these last. you know I mean you mentioned it they're. 12 and two since the the opening two. games of the playoffs. I I really think with Edmonson like they. they've got the experience over the last. few years where you know you're not. going to really do a whole lot that's. going to mentally get in their head or. whatever. I think you just have to keep.
sustaining pressure and shots and. offense and continued physicality. you. know, not obviously you can't be. physical on him, but you know, the rest. of their team and and I think that's how. you just I don't know if you can really. get to them mentally by saying stuff or. doing stuff, but I I think our team's. mindsets just try to wear you down. Wear. you down. So, even if you're up three. and you. lose, wear them down enough where that. game seven you could win. So, we have. that game seven mentality and um we have. it each and every shift in every game.
and whether that's, you know, Skinner. wearing down or whatever. I mean, he's. been playing incredible from the games. I've been watching, um, you know, the. last couple rounds. So, we're going to. make sure we're going to have to make. sure our shooting's dialed in and we've. got a lot of guys in front of him to. make sure he doesn't see it because he. everything he's seeing right now, he's. stopping. So, got to give him a lot of. credit. He's playing great. All right, let's talk about Bob. Also playing. incredible. Feels like you got to have a. hot goalie. He's always feels like he's. just uh always standing on his head. Does this guy have feet?
He's uh he's incredible. He is our. backbone. He's uh he's been our, you. know, he's just been so reliable the. last few years and and he's just a guy. you really root for like how he. prepares, his routine, you know, how. dedicated of the sport is, how how great. of a teammate he is, and just such a. special human being. So, um we got a. chance every night with him and and. that's all you can ask for. And he's. been absolutely incredible again for us. this year. the goalies weirdos. Not not him. He's he's incredible. He's.
awesome. Um I've I've played with a. couple that are weird, but not our. goalies. Love this Panthers team. Good luck, Bub. Yeah. Conor Mc Jesus is flying right. now. He's literally hovering above the. ice. It feels like that's always. happening, but obviously a hot Edmonton. Oilers team taking on the reigning. champs in the NHL Stanley Cup finals. It's a beautiful thing. You're the man. Keep representing for all of sports, brother. Ladies and gentlemen, Matthew. Kach. Hey, Chucky. See you, Chucky. Yeah, you got to watch what you.
do. Especially use conference files. You. can get him back later, Connor. Yeah, but what what about whenever. you Oh, yeah. I didn't like that he did. that. Yeah. Had to handle the business. Game was put away though at that point. Yes, it was. He's uh you know, there's. time and place for this. It's a close. game. We can't be taken cheap, you know. But we can certainly remember we got. you, I think, uh fourth week next. season. That game matters. We can give up a penalty or two though. You know what we got back toback days? What's that? Greasy. Yeah. So greasy is. our new thing. Mhm. I guess that's the. new world. A little greasy. Yeah, that's.
lacrosse yesterday. Uh Chase Frasier. talks about uh a center having a greasy. face off. So it started an entire line. brawl and then Chuck goes, "Yeah, it's a. little greasy move." And everybody knows. exactly what it means. Yeah, I like it. I mean, there's connotations. Used to be. bushly with greasy. Of course, there's. not. What are you guys saying? Gosh, the. spear is not from Italy if that's what. you're talking about. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, holy hell. Holy. hell. I was back in Pittsburgh. yesterday. Saw a lot of Italians, by the.
way. I bet it was awesome. Felt good to. get back in there. Felt good to get back. into the mix. You know how we do. M. Where's it at? Scene. 40ome thousand. people there. That's a lot. It every. seat. It It wasn't one of those where. there were spots like it was insane. Yeah. It goes straight up. The baseball. [ __ ] goes straight up. And speaking of. baseball, there's no hockey tonight. There's no basketball tonight, but there. is baseball, isn't there? Time is there. Thank God for baseball tonight. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, if you want to stay up. late, uh we have uh Well, it's, you.
know, 10:10 Eastern. What? First pitch. No way am I watching that. Yeah. Yankees. West Coast uh road trip. They play the. Dodgers. We got a World Series rematch. uh from last year. Potential uh World. Series preview for this year. Both of. them have been playing very, very well. But yeah, I mean, if you're not a guy. like me or, you know, I mean, [ __ ] I. don't even know if Bruce is going to, you know, stay up for this one with the. the Knicks tomorrow night. But yeah, 10:10 is very late. But this whole. series, all three of these games are uh.
on national TV some some way, shape, or. form. So, if you do want to just get. like a little, you know, little morsel. of what the baseball season has been so. far, I mean, this is about as good of a. matchup as you could ask for. I love to. hear that all of the game stars are. playing in one game. Yes. And I. appreciate that it's on at uh 1:00 a.m. Eastern. Well, you know, no one 1:00. a.m. Eastern will be Can you call. passing, please? Can you call passing, please? Ethning specific. And this is. also Yeah. Pacific move that don't we.
move? What wouldn't we want to see Aaron. Judge vers show? That's what's. interesting is tonight is 10:10 and then. like tomorrow I believe is on Fox and. that's 710. So I think I I don't know if. it's just because it's Friday and they. want to make sure like both of the. weekend games Sunday night uh this is. Sunday night baseball so that'll start. around 7 to three or seven. Yeah, exactly. Just tonight is the 1010 start. Yeah, tomorrow too. The Pacers start at. 8. So you'll get a good three at bats uh. tomorrow. Probably should be flipped. where the baseball kicks off later. But.
this is a good reminder um how these. conference games we've been so lucky. that none of them have been on the West. Coast. You forget games start that late. because all these games have been, you. know, every team has been uh what. mountain time. I guess Edmonton's the. only one that isn't central or Eastern. It's been kind of one of those blessing. in disguise you don't really think about. till you remember that games do start at. at 10:00. Okay, let's go to the NFL. Quy. Adopa Mensah has signed an extension. with the Minnesota Vikings. Congratulations to the general manager. over there who put together a team uh.
that was competing to be the number one. seed in the NFC in the last week of the. season against the Detroit Lions. They. would lose and uh maybe even get a rule. change because how great their year was. from going a first to a fifth seed in. the NFC. He has pieced together quite an. outfit over there. Now, what are they. doing at quarterback going forward? Well, it's JJ McCarthy's team. Now, obviously, nobody has said that. outright, but they every move and. everything that they've alluded to is. basically that they're going to rely. upon the national champion out of. Michigan whose rookie year didn't even.
get started because of a surgery that. had to happen in training camp. So, now. that JJ's their guy, Quy's locked in, Kevin Oonnell is going to be there for a. long time. It feels like the Minnesota. Vikings have found some stability if JJ. can play quarterback. Well, there's. obviously the conversation about are. they going to bring in Aaron Rogers? Ooh, Xar Rogers want to go play with, you know, this Minnesota Vikings offense. that is absolutely loaded. Quy was able. to get Justin Jefferson paid while also. bringing in a lot of other weapons on. the offensive side. He was also able to.
almost have a defensive player of the. year candidate. They are stacked on both. sides of the ball. All contracts are. seemingly good. And the only question. mark is, is JJ McCarthy a guy? They have. rolled the dice and said, "We are. willing to bet on it. We believe in. him." They drafted him high. Jim. Harbaugh whenever he was coming out of. Michigan said this is the best. quarterback in the draft. The guy had. the best workout I've ever seen is what. Jim Harbaugh said. Now Jim Harbaugh did. recruit him to Michigan. He did win a. national championship with Jim Harbaugh. at Michigan. But that's literally the. only question mark. Everything else that. has happened around Minnesota, I think.
everybody would say, "Yeah, that's the. right move." Obviously a general. manager, a large part of all of that. He. gets an extension. Congratulations to. him. That's a big deal. Yeah. Huge. And. we all just have so much faith in Kevin. O'Connell where you feel like you've. seen it. I remember the Pastronaut thing. I feel like solidified it for me when. the Pastronaut came in and they just. started winning games with KOC telling. him in his ear what routes his receivers. were running to to the point where you. know KC I believe came on this show and. told us yeah sometimes I had to shut up. I I had to stop talking because I was. giving him so much information. But I.
mean he had a year to kind of watch. How. much do you think he was able to watch? Cuz with him being so hurt he was on the. sideline. I think we saw him in the. building. There was articles he was in. the building and doing uh VR stuff with. the quarterback. Yeah. So, we saw him. around. We saw him on the sideline. He. got a chance to experience it. A lot of. mental reps. We talked about rookie. quarterbacks not having to start early. Now, he got to he had to miss some time. and he had to go through rehab, which. might have helped actually if he's in a. training room with the boys, you know, throughout the entire season, what you. hear, what you pick up, what you learn. There's a chance that he got like a.
master class on how to be an NFL. quarterback last year while rehabbing, becoming the healthiest he could. possibly become. There's a chance this. is the guy. I I mean like everybody. that's talked about him says this is the. guy. They actually say that the Vikings. are gonna get better. Sam Darnold was. their quarter. He was up for MVP. throughout a lot of part of the year. Sam Darnold reinvigorates his entire. legacy, his entire career last year. He. doesn't get resigned. They go, "Wait a. minute. Didn't this is what you wanted?". Kirk Cousins, same exact thing. They. don't resign him. Isn't this what you. wanted? Now they're going with JJ. McCarthy, the young guy, and it's like,
you listen to Kirk Herbstream talk. He's. like, "They're going to be better." And. it's like they were Ori thinks that too. They're playing for the number one seed. in the NFC last year. He's like going to. be better. I don't I don't know if. they're going to be playing for the. number one seed cuz it might take him a. little bit to learn, but in long run. team is going to be better. And JJ. McCarthy is built for the moment. In the. big moments, JJ McCarthy is there. He's. got it is basically what everybody says. IMG had it. Soon as he got to Michigan, he had it. As soon as he completed his. career, Michigan, he had it. And he. would have had it last year if they. would have let him play. That is what. everybody that knows JJ McCarthy says.
So, let's just assume he's the guy. And. let's assume that the Minnesota Vikings. are set for the next 10 years. 10 years. in the NFC North. Yeah. And like people. might snicker at the Oh, he was doing VR. work last year. Like I'm sure that. helped him a ton. Jaden Daniels talked. about how the VR stuff was some of the. most important, you know, routine kind. of prep that he had during the NFL. season. You can get a 100 reps. You get. 100 reps in like 3 minutes. So as. opposed to everybody having to walk. through and reset everybody, it's just. like boom, put them out there. We're. doing walk through. Bang. Reset it. Walk.
through. Boom. We move this guy here. This is what you got to do. You can just. get so many reps so efficiently, so. conveniently, so quickly, without having. to call up the practice squad or read. the card team, get everybody set up, get. everybody realigned. It's like you just. lock in, everything's realigned. Oh, let's show you uh too high. Okay, so. when they do this, they're going to do. this. Let's do that again. Here's a. hundred different forms of that. If. you're willing to put in the work and. invest in the time, which they say JJ. McCarthy is doing, Harbaugh guy and they. Exactly. and they say Jaden did and all.
these guys that have success, they. invest the time. If you're willing to. invest the time with virtual reality and. technology, the amount of reps that you. can get is a,000x what it used to be. So, you can learn much quickly and it. feels like guys are doing it. So, I just. read So, what they did was they put a. camera on Sam Darnold's uh helmet during. practices and walkthroughs and then put. that footage into the VR so that J.J. MacArthur could see what Sam was seeing. during walkthroughs and practices. Then. obviously the game stuff, you know, you. could do that as well. Yeah. the amount. of trivia. I mean, there's just so many. things that they can do in there with.
how interactive it is. I assume JJ's. going to be great just cuz everybody. that knows him says he's going to be. great. That's what I assume. And he's. got Justin Jefferson, Jordan, and TJ. Hawinson and Aaron Jones. Yeah. And and. Kevin O'Connell. And Kevin Okcon. And. they invested in the O line and they. have great defense and they have great. special teams and still got beef flow. Yeah. It's like, yeah, you're in a great. JJ might be the perfect guy for the job, but also that might be the perfect team. to be a first- time starting quarterback. in the NFL. Good luck to them all. Congrats to Quy. Ryan Griggsson gets a.
bump in title. He is now assistant. general manager. Congrats to him. Happy. for him. Oh yeah, happy for him. Still, just an aux. By far the most jacked. general manager, assistant general. manager in the NFL. No questions asked. 305 I think. still walking around beard. game very tight. Obviously, I was in. Indianapolis when he was hired as a. general manager in his 30s. I think all. parties would say he didn't necessarily. handle it uh the perfect way and with.
everything that comes with being a. general manager, not just finding. talent, putting together a team, but. also negotiations and, you know, communication and how you operate in a. building and everything. So, I think he. got thrown in the deep end. I think he. had a chance to learn. he has a chance. to kind of look back on the mistakes. that he made. Look back on the things. that he did very well. We won whenever. he was there and now he's continuing to. climb the ladder. I'm happy for him. I'm. very happy for him and I hope he gets. another opportunity at it. Feels like. the second time after getting hired very. young. He's normally uh a successful.
thing. He's obviously moving up the. ranks over there in Minnesota. Might win. a Super Bowl. Yeah. Yeah, maybe for. sure. Joining us now is a guy that might. know a little bit more information on. Quy uh signing and if anybody else cuz. we had no idea that was coming. No, I. mean I'm assuming people did. Is there. any other big money moves going to. executives? Is there any other moves. about to happen around the NFL? And how. happy are the New York Knicks fans? Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now, Emmy award w uh winner, one of the. founding hosts of Good Morning Football,
now ESPN analyst and pundit, ladies and. gentlemen and insider, Peter Shreger. How you doing, Shreggs? I'm doing. awesome. Uh smiling. Just took my kid to. school this morning and everyone's in. blue and orange. Back on the bandwagon. Every It's New York is beautiful this. time of year. Pat kind of wish you would. have been able to witness it, but I. understand. I love Jelly Roll. Saw Jelly. Roll in Post Malone in Vegas at. Allegiant Stadium couple of months a. couple weeks ago. Outstanding. Um, was.
Tyrese Hallebertton with you in Pit last. night? He on the court. Okay. Yeah, he. didn't have his best night. Okay. Two or. seven. Okay. He only had seven shot. not. great. Okay. And every once in a while, you know, we'll have a game like this. where it just doesn't go our way and it. goes the other team's way. We look out. of sorts, but the other team's playing. fantastic ball. This other team just so. happens to be in Madison Square Garden. with a place that was rocking. I was. watching along. It looked awesome. I. know you were not there as well. I was. not going to pay $171,000 for a ticket. Uh so that is and also bail on jelly,
right? Not bailing on jelly roll. No. way. Uh but I would have been able to. make it. Just not 171,000 worth. I saw a. lot of Knicks fans calling me a coward. Valid. I respect it. I would have been. saying the same thing. But I'm not. paying 200 grand to go watch the Indiana. Pacers against the New York Knicks in. the Eastern Conference Finals while. getting bullied by all of New York. I. don't have that type of fetish in my. life. Uh I don't have that type of need. for attention. Uh but I will say.
watching the game, I could see how. Knicks fans all of a sudden have hope. that this is their series. I was getting. a bunch of texts. Knicks in seven. We. saw the chance outside. Knicks in seven. That's really what the hope is at this. point. And whenever they have a game. like they had last night where. everything's fallen, Cat and Jaylen are. going bananas. Indiana's not able to. make much. It's like, well, is that. Indiana or is that maybe Nick's defense. is kind of figuring it out? Are those. all the thoughts that you guys are. having this morning? Like, wait a. minute, maybe this is our series. Yeah. And like the truth is, you know, we're.
up by five with a minute left in the. first half a game four. and I'm in the. building looking around to the 10 other. Knicks fans that are with me in Indiana. and I'm like we got a shot and then at. the end of the half you guys really put. a nice run together and then it was just. an avalanche and then we get the promo. cut and I'm like we're not winning now. Like this thing this place is the. building was on fire. So it was like you. felt we had a shot. Now we go to game. six and all of my friends and I'm not. talking about sports media. I'm not. talking about people who are sitting on. the court side. All my friends who are. going to the Knicks games when they're. playing the Clippers and the Kings and. the and the Pelicans or anything they're.
texting me is like should we go on. Saturday? Is it going to be hostile? And. I'm like, "No, no, no. You don't. understand. These Indiana fans are. amazing. They're not hostile towards. Knicks fans. They're welcoming. They. want you to enjoy the experience. They're just smart, good, and loud as. you know what." Like, my ears are still. ringing from that game. So, I don't I. don't imagine it's going to be a little. smattering of Knicks fans on Saturday. I. think a big contingent is coming in. Oh, he's going to show up big weekend.
Saturday. And I I'm urging everyone, go. If you can afford it, if you can find a. way there, go and represent the Knicks in. Indianapolis. You have to. You want an. invasion of the big city? Okay. Jeez. Louise. That'd be good for the sport. It'd be good for sport if it was loud. I. mean, we got people in this building. that are inviting Nick's friends uh. Nick's fans out here as friends, taking. them to the game. So, I think they are. trying to have a little coyote situation. where they're trying to sneak them in in. the entirety. Pacer fans aren't going to. let that happen. base fans. No, that.
place is going to be packed out. I don't. love the yellow out just with like sure. the way it optics just how I'm built, you know? You're not going to really see. me in a light shirt on a regular basis. Just I'm built like a spark plug. my. complexion not good for like that's a. tough color you know but it'll be a. yellow outu and it might be a little bit. of orange and a little bit of blue. scattered throughout there but. inevitably what's going to happen you. know what Tyrese is going to do you saw.
the game he just had you think that's. going to happen again I don't think so I. don't that's the thing it's he was the. greatest performance I've ever seen live. in a playoff game three nights ago on. Tuesday night he was unbelievable he had. 32 total 15 zero turnovers like and then. he was he was nothing last night. So, I. don't know what's going on. And. hopefully, I'm sorry. I'm saying like it. is. I respect the hell out of that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, no. I. understand. I have to say whoever. I. just I just didn't realize that the. concert poster was Jelly Roll, Post. Malone, and Tyresese. Okay. All right. He wasn't at the big ass stadium car in.
Pittsburgh. He was at Madison Square. Garden. Uh Rick Carile and the Pacers. have not lost back-to-back games since. March or something like that. March like. 10th or something. I assume Rick. Carile's message to that Bacers team was. uh I pretty enthusiastic. I would assume. uh pretty harsh if I had to guess. And. uh back in Indianapolis on Saturday. should be a beautiful thing. Last. question about this particular series. before we move to NFL stuff. Go ahead, Connor. Yeah, just so you know too, Pat, some people are inviting Nicks fans out. here just to watch them lose. Uh just to.
see the tears of Knicks fans, you know, that that that would be my case there. Okay. There's some Celtics fans that are. out here that are going to the game uh. just to invite Knicks fans out to watch. them cry and losing the series. Bingo. Yes. More more exact. Yeah. Yeah. Just. just to make sure we're on the same. page. There are some people doing that. Some people are doing that. Not. everybody. Uh smart people you could. argue. But Strikes, uh you know, a lot. of people are talking about Bridges. Ageni being the key. Is Mitchell. Robinson kind of the key to the Knicks. winning here? And do you think they need. to give him some more minutes here?
because it feels as though that. six-minute span with Mitch last night. was kind of it was early but it almost. kind of set the tone where hey Indiana. you're not coming into this house and. winning. Well, hold on. Wait a second. Al Horford just hoisted up another three. and just Oh, wait. No, that didn't go. in. Sorry, man. Chase, you can't talk [ __ ] to me, Trager. Cuz you guys aren't worth [ __ ]. You're not going to win anything. And. you see this trophy right here? You son. of a [ __ ] right here. You better take a.
good long look, [ __ ] cuz you're never. going to see it again. All right. So, you can hang the banner for winning a. second round, you know, playoff series. That cool. But, uh, Celtics has a little. rattle right now. When Tyrese Halbert. No, no. I'm not taking no [ __ ] from some. guy who's never even sniffed the finals. since, you know, before. Wow. Celtics. are rattled. I didn't even know the. Celtics are rattled at all. I'm not I'll. take it from the Pers fans cuz they got. a team respect. I'm not respecting the. Knicks fan. I'm not I'm not going to bow. down. Don Melanchamp is not gonna be at. all. Well, guess what? I'm not who's.
your hospitality. I think who's your. hospitality is stupid, first of all. First and foremost, it's real, but I. think it's stupid. Who's your. hospitality? We host more events here. Conventions. It's real. But I I'm I come. from a place where I want a little, hey, can you get the out of the way? Hey, can. you just shut the up? You know, I like. that stuff from the people in my city. And it's very nice. Like, you know, everyone's oh, everything's great. You. know, there's nothing wrong with telling. somebody to go to hell or or somebody to. go. Listen, out here, you come out to. Indianapolis, you have a good time.
Hospitality will host you. We got great. hotels. We got good restaurants. Everybody else awesome city. Awesome. city. Everything's there. One of my. favorite. That's who's your hospitality. No, no doubt about it. And I'm not going. to I'm not going to talk trash to 18. championships. I know better. And I grew. up having nightmares of the Celtics. So, I I was just having a little bit of fun. Truth of the matter. Shut up and suck. it, [ __ ] Truth of the matter is. Mitchell Robinson, that guy's been on. the team for seven years, Mitchell. Robinson's the actual heart and soul of. this team. So whereas we've been. flipping the team and we're getting Josh.
Hart at the trade deadline to really. kickstart this thing a couple years back. and then we bring in Brunson and of. course we get Cat and Bridges this year. Um Mitchell Robinson was there in those. dark days. So Knicks fans have like a. real place for him. So when he comes in. and you know he's bringing defense, you. know he's bringing rebounding and you. saw him in the corner there. um Jaylen. Brown in that game, like you know, he's. bringing that, but when he starts. scoring and gosh, when he's getting. those offensive rebounds and dunking, like that is an extra good feeling. because it brings you back to those days. where these teams were not making the.
playoffs and the Celtics were beating us. by 20 and the the Pacers were beating us. by 20 on our court. So, yes, Mitchell. Robinson not only brings it on the. court, but he brings it with the fans. There's a special connection with that. player. Yeah, we need him to not have a. good game on Saturday. No doubt. Need. need him to play. you know, everybody. play. Jaylen Brunson doesn't know how to. play bad. Now, there's some stats coming. out about Jaylen and Cat being on the. court at the same time last night and. having success as opposed to the early. games where they weren't having success. And it was hard for me to understand. people saying they need Jaylen not to.
play and they would be better. Because. as a Pacer fan, I'm like, "Yeah, yeah, let's definitely do that. Let's have. Jaylen not play." Cuz every time that. guy has the ball, it feels like it's. going in the hoop. I mean every single. it makes no sense how he's able to. create his own shot and how often it. falls like if he has just a window of. hope the ball's going in. Then they talk. about on the defensive side though and. how they're trying to run plays for him. and how cat don't work. It feels like. last night they were able to really make. it happen. I hope that means they didn't.
find the recipe. No. I hope that doesn't. mean that they have figured it out in. the Eastern Conference final. I hope. that means it was one night of magic in. Madison Square Garden with all the stars. out shreds. How about that TJ McConnell. photo in front of Miles and Kelly and. Tim and Kylie and I had to tag him. because if you do it's like a where's. Waldo? It's just every face in that. room. That's Lance Thomas and Chris. Dudley, former Knicks in the back of. that picture. Like you've got Mike. Novagrats, the crypto king in the. orange. You got all sorts of people.
Steeler. Stiller is kind of hanging. halfway. He's standing up. That's. Steeler's kid next to him. It's an. incredible image. And the fact that it's. Yinszer TJ McConnell doing the. three-point thing right on the sideline. and he's wearing those kicks. Those are. like the John Mars but the most like. T.J. McConnell version of the John Mar. I love it. What's heavy? Sick. What's heavy? I. don't know. They're just plain sick. Milk. You're saying those are the Those. are the most plain. Those are so good. Sorry.
TJ's a dog. Yeah. He's from Pittsburgh. Uh, and there was a time last year where. he was marching up and down everybody's. court uh, in front of the crowd. Love. watching it. Great series, great. atmosphere. Can't wait for tomorrow. night, game six. Now, let's talk a. little football, shall we? There's a lot. going on down in Miami. A lot seemingly. going on down in Miami. Go ahead, AP. Tom. A ton going uh down in Miami with. the Finn fam and and the Dolphins. Um, yesterday there was a report, I don't. know if I buy it or not, Trees, that's.
why I'm asking you, uh, that there's. potentially trade talks between the. Steelers and Dolphins for John Smith, specifically because Arty Smith loves. Janu Smith, even though the Steelers. have a a few tight ends already that. they love. Um, so, you know, you could. talk to me about that, see if that's. [ __ ] or not. Uh, and then also. Tyreek Hill's been on a lot of uh, streams lately, which is always a good. idea. He's been saying stuff. Is there. any chance that Tyreek is potentially in. trade talks as well this summer? Well, there's a lot of credibility behind the. Janu stuff. Shfter has got it and then.
Field Yates added a good point that in. both Tennessee and Atlanta, Janu Smith. was one of the favorite players for. Arthur Smith. So, if Arthur Smith has a. voice, that makes a lot of sense that. Pittsburgh would add another weapon to. that offense after losing George. Pickkins. Jonnu Smith's not going to. replace George Pickkins, but it's. another receiving option for whoever the. quarterback's going to be. As for Tyreek. at so much chatter and yet from what I. gather he's not going anywhere and and. right now Jaylen Ramsey is more likely. to be traded than Tyreek and Tyreek. Hill. Truth of the matter is uh both of.
those guys have massive contracts and. you're going to have to find teams that. are going to be willing to take them on. And for all the chatter with with Miami. and how public he is with some of the. stuff he said at the locker room at the. last week of the season and then he's. been on all these streams and I don't. know you know if there's a if there's a. directive for him to maybe not be. talking so much about it. The truth is. when Tyreek Hill's there, he's fine and. he's one of the best players in all of. football. In fact, the NFL Network did a. poll last year this time, the number one. player in the entire NFL was Tyreek. Hill. So, like, you don't trade that.
player because he's said some comments. that upset your your you know, your fan. base online. When he's there, he's. great. And the truth of the matter is he. and Tua actually do have a really good. connection. So, I don't think Tyreek. Hill is going anywhere. I think he just. likes being on social media, likes doing. those podcasts, and truth of the matter. is it's pretty entertaining. Yeah, he. got a good pop whenever everything he. says gets a pretty good pop both uh with. the people he's with and then on the. internet it gets a massive reaction. He. did say in his press conference uh he's. doing a lot more personally uh with what. he's going through and he feels like he.
understands what coach Mike is trying to. do in the culture locker room more now. than ever and also Tua more now than. ever. So I guess that's good things. And. then they asked him about his quote and. he said it was high emotions. You know, I just try to move on, look, focus in. the next day. There was a lot going on. Feels like everybody's passed it. Uh he. feels like he's passed it. Every time he. goes on a live stream though, there's. something coming out of it. There's. something coming out of it. Tyreek is a. good talker. He is. Tyreek Tyreek is a. good talker. Can I tell you like he he. was traded from Kansas City because he.
wanted to get paid. They couldn't. afford. Like I know those Kansas City. guys from Vich to to Borgansi who's now. in Tennessee to Andy Reid. They love Tyreek Hill like play people. who play like had Ty Tyreek Hill is like. the man once you're in the building. So. there was no like bad blood when he. left. And I think the same thing with. Miami. Always going to run his mouth, always going to say things, but like the. the people in that building, they love. Tyreek Hill and he's a well-received. player. It's not like he's some. canankerous guy or a cancer in the. locker room. I do appreciate his quote. on Aiden's live stream is right out of a.
movie. Ross, let's go. Yeah, Aiden Ross'. live stream. Those streamers are that. business is wild. That that business is. wild. Congrats to all of them. That is a. whole new genre of entertainment. Uh. Truman Show like that these dudes are. doing and women I assume. I haven't seen. them but uh no I saw at streamer. university. There was some there was. some popped off down there. So what. these men and women are doing in the. streaming world, it's the future. I. believe obviously everybody says that's. future. That's future. That's future.
You got to be on. They got to be on. Yeah. All the time. Like, hey, when. you're being boring, this is not where. you got to be on on. on. Congrats to all of them doing their. thing and for being as electrifying as. you have to be for people just to watch. you live your life. But every time uh. when Tyreek was on there and every time. Tyreek has gone on there, he's given a. clip that seems like it's out of a. movie. Uh the most recent one was, "Yeah, I wanted to punch him in the face. because he wasn't throwing me the ball.". Yep. Like that's straight out of a wide. receiver movie. Yeah. You know, it is.
Big pop though. Big pop on everybody. I. think he was trying to be funny. Uh, and. like you said, everybody in the building. loves him. It's like if you can get. Tyreek locked in, he's a weapon. He says. he still wants to go for 2K. What are we. talking about? Let's keep it moving. We. appreciate the hell out of that. And we. appreciate the hell out of you. Sh. Congrats to your Knicks. Are you coming. tomorrow? Not. No. I've actually been texting with. with our mutual fan Jerry Ferrara. You. know him from Entourage, of course. He's. texting me as we speak like, "Should we. go? How do we go? Do you know a hookup?". Like I'm not your private jet guy and I.
certainly don't have a hookup in. Indianapolis. But I will say this, it is. an amazing experience if you do go and I. urge all Nicks fans to represent. Now. I'm going to go take all my Melon Camp. albums and burn them in the back here. cuz I'm team. Let's go. The music's. good. The music's good. Don't burn them. And uh hey Turtle, get the jet. We'll. see you soon. Shrekes. We appreciate. you. We'll see you in the next hour. Goodbye. Hi. How's it going? My name is Pat. McAfee. Used to hold balls for Adam.
Benitary. Now I'm in his home state. College game day is absolutely electric. in. Brookings. South. Let's go. College Game Day has. made the voyage to Brooking, South. Dakota to experience a game with the. best fans in college football. I unfortunately cannot attend because I. have a game this Sunday. So, I sent a. man I trust to make my picks. A man who.

The best fake putt in the world. What do. you think, Matt? I absolutely loved it. all the way up until execution time. That is not one we like to show in the. brand headquarters and fighting and.
kicking world. Oh, pants off. Let's get. weird. Yes. Duck that. Huh? Bang. Right. over top of the dome. That makes it a. lot easier when you got a dummy standing. right in front of you like that. Running. Running. He's. Oh, Daniel Russo. on the face. Serious go. Yes.
But I'm going trade. Please excuse my dumb friend Kirk. [Applause].
Look at this crowd. They've been out. here since 4:00 a.m. If coach game day. comes to town, they lose their mind. The. population of this state is about. 800,000. And when the Jack Rabbits take. the field, they're alongside all 800,000. South. Dakota. The Dakota was in Fargo for far. too long. Today 5:00 local time, the. Dakota marker is back in beautiful.
South. They might be the champions, but. they're the goats today, ladies and. gentlemen. South Dakota State with the. [Applause]. win. Don't do that. No, the following program is a collection of. stooges talking about happenings in the. sports world. It is meant to be comedic, informative. The opinions expressed on.
this show do not necessarily reflect the. beliefs of their peers, their boss, or. ESPN. There may be some cuss words. because that's how humans in the real. world talk. If you are a young, please. seek permission before watching any. further. Hey, let's. go. This show stinks and the fact that. you listen, we are very, very thankful. for the line with a gorgeous assist. The.
alltime leading tackler for the Green. Bay Packers. You. stop. Damn it. Your friend, tell a. friend something nice could change their. life. Hello beautiful people and welcome back. to our humble the bone the thunder note. on this feelgood Friday May 30th 2025. hour through the program starts now.
sports are happening all around us. congrats to the Knicks and to the. Edmonton Oilers Knicks get a big win to. extend the Eastern Conference finals of. the NBA and the Edmonton Oilers bury the. Dallas Stars and become the Western. Conference Finals Champions and head to. the Stanley Cup finals in a rematch of. last year's Stanley Cup finals against. the Florida Panthers. The Edmonton. Oilers were playing a Dallas Stars team. that had a chance to reach Stanley Cup. finals. Instead, they lose last night in.
pretty devastating fashion. The Dallas. Stars goalie, who we love, Otter, got. pulled after two shots. Two two shots. Total two total shots he saw. How many. saves you? None. None. Two goals. Otter. I mean, get him out. All right. Odd. Then Conor McDavidson. I'm going to take. this thing over. Does some glide on it. Boom. Pow. Assist. Bang. Edmonton. Oh, hi. I'm Conor Mc Jesus. I'm faster than.
your whole team. Jeez. And I'm going to. Who's this goalie? I don't know him. I. was waiting for an honor. This looks. more like a mark. You do know him. Don't. stop. Spent some years in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh. That was the goat. No. No. That was the goat. Louis. Oh my. god. I was watching Nick's paces. I. didn't know they put the goat in. The. goat was sitting behind the otter this. whole time. Uh Gumpy, I watched you go. through it all night last night. We're. watching Nick's Pacers here. Jelly Rolls.
performing here. Post Malone then comes. out. Rockstar. Holy hell. Actual. You're. screaming. He. need carrying and then right into. singing. I don't know how his little bit. of rapping too. I don't know how his. vocal I don't know how he did it at all. It's impressive. He He's a real real. talent. Like we we saw Taylor Swift and. Taylor Swift does her thing in a. different avenue. Post Malone has just. the same amount of Yeah. These are rock.
stars. Crowd control. Yeah. That that. it's like it's a different when you. watch like Taylor had the entire. stadium. Exactly. Okay. It's like, oh, this is a rock star. And then Post comes. out and he's in his songs. I mean, like. he is within the lyrics. Real passion. Really like in there as he's I don't. know how you're able to do that every. night. Like I don't know how you're able. to every song is like it is he's writing. and singing it for the first time. He. really got after it last night, but. that's happening. Then we got Gumpy. sitting two doors down here. [ __ ].
What? What's going on? Otter gave up. two. He They pulled him. They pulled. Otter. They pulled pulled him. They set. him. And he turns his phone around and. it's Otter skating off to the side. And. it's like they make the Otter do the the. skate of shame basically over to the. bench after everything he's done. And. now the season's over for the Dallas. Stars. And Gumpy, I'm sorry. It was a. hell of a run. You made it to the final. four. Made it to the final four. Gumps. The Dallas Stars could have been in the. Stanley Cup finals if they just didn't. run into the McDavid train that you know.
is back in the finals. You should. probably go out with your one of your. best players playing though, I would. say. You know, two shots and then Dbor. throws him under the bus after the game. as well. You know who took the [ __ ]. penalty to score the first goal? A kid. that hasn't played since April. 26. Who made that decision, Pete? Who. was it? That would be you, Mr. D'Vor. So, guess what? Otter's going to be in. Dallas a long time before you were and a. long time after you are. Oh, you're.
saying get this guy out of here? I'm not. going to go. I'm not I'm not That's. three in a row. I'm not going to go that. far. Times we've never been able to go. You don't throw your goalie franchise. goalie under the bus after the game. They weren't bad goals either. So, you. guys are the Carolina Hurricanes of the. West, right? More or less. We've won a. few more games, but yeah. But at the. end, long story short, Gumpy was calling. for heads to roll. It was crazy. The. heads to roll last night. I mean, it was. We're flying home and literally we're I.
don't know 20 minutes into it. Not that. convert just chilling cuz we were just. hanging kind of taking in the concert. and then all of a sudden company just. starts laugh the bar. This guy just just. out of nowhere just like loses his mind. in the entirety. Let's go have a hammer. Cowboys AP tone. I also thought it was. insane. I mean the first goal was a was. a power play where it went from dry. settle to McDavid to Cory Perry in under. under a second maybe and he's he's. standing in front of the net by himself. Okay. So, I mean, it that's not a what'.
you say? Almost saves you. Almost. And. then the second one, it's basically it's. basically a a breakaway that he slides. five hole. Like, these are not terrible. This is not like, oh, he didn't catch it. or anything. Like, these are not these. are pretty normal goals for a goalie to. give. He wasn't saying the puck, the. board knew it. Have you seen his record. up in Edmonton? The board let the whole. world know that this guy never wins up. here either. I don't know if you've. looked into it. Yeah, he's a franchise. guy. The guys thinks we had to pull him. Anyways, long off season for all teams. except for one Stanley Cup winner. It. will not be the Dallas Stars, although. you guys had a great season. The talk. stay boss Conor at Tai Schmitter are.
here and joining us live from an attic. in Ohio. Ladies and gentlemen, a college. football national champion, a Super Bowl. champion, a Ryder Cup winner, ladies and. gentlemen, AJ Hawker. Hawker, how you doing, pal? I'm doing. great. But I want to ask Gump, does does. how does hockey work? Did Otter know. like, hey, you're on a short leash. tonight. If it if it goes poor early. that you're out of here. Zero chance. He's like top five goalies in the NHL. There's no way that was even a. conversation. Yeah, they were actually. talking about him being the reason why. they could win the Stanley Cup. Is Otter. made that save against the Jets. That's.
why we got to where we are. Like he's. been unbelievable all play the diving. one back across. Yeah. Like he's absurd. dude. Good player. He hasn't been his. best in Western Conference finals. I. understand that. But still, you end your. season with him and not with [ __ ]. Casey the Smith. I mean the Boore seen. the Smith and he's like. you got the goat. Yeah. How do we know. the Smith didn't look at the board and. say, "You know the deal. Y'all want to. win? Put the Smith in." You think the. Smith actually was the one that was. handing over the stats? You know, this. guy's done up here. Yeah. Yeah. See this.
coach? You see my stats? And then who. they have him sitting next to? Who was. on or something? Oh, Ray Ferraro. Mr. Edmonton Oiler himself. That guy. Never. heard more bias. If I close my eyes, it's like I'm back in Canada watching. Sports Net listening to him call an. Oilers stars game. Gumby had a tough. time last night. it. Yeah, it it was. brutal. Don't be a tough time. Potentially the most bombed I've ever. seen him. Yeah. Yeah. He's asking for. heads of roll, you know. I love that. team. The stars give you hope. Not like. the Miami Dolphins, you know. Well, the. Miami Dolphins got a lot of stories.
going on, but Shank said it's all noise. Don't worry about it. He's He has. dropped them. What's that? He's dropped. the fence. Fan of the Shield now. No, I. haven't fully dropped low. You're no. longer a fan. I'm still a fan, but I I I. just You refuse to be emotionally. invested. I'm at the point where it's I. wake up every day and there's more. [ __ ] It's like I Jon Smith was our. best player, only Pro Bowler. And you. want to trade him? Chris Greer, every. time a guy knocked on the door, here's. more money. Tyreek, more money. Not more. years, just more money. Xavon Howard,
more money, more money, more money. Jaylen Ramsay, here's more money. Oh, Jonu Smith's getting 4.8. I can't give. him anymore. Our best player. It's. great. It's a master class again in. Miami. It's It's [ __ ] Everything's. great. Cap. Yeah. It's feel good Friday, Edge. And how we're supposed to feel. good with the Knicks beating the Pacers. last night. Gumpy's calling for the head. coach of an East or Western Conference. final team, three straight years to get. fired. Okay. And Grock was bullying me. last night. Did you see this, AJ? I did.
see this is a new uh like a creative way. where you can kind of Yeah, Grock can. can do some creative things. It feels. like I think a lot of people learned. that last night. And I'll tell you, I I. get back to my phone uh after the. concert and after the Knicks Pacers game. and I see a bunch of Knicks fans going, "Hey, Grock, put Pat in a clown. costume." And guess what Grock was. doing? He's doing it. 10 seconds. Putting me in different clown costumes. And all of a sudden, I go, "Hey, Grock.". Cuz Grock does what you say, right?
That's what Grock does. I've learned. very well. So I said, "Hey, Grock, stop. doing it." Okay. Shouldn't Grock listen. to me? No. No. instead. Hey Grock, stop. it. Okay, that's me telling Grock to. stop. Should listen to what I said. Didn't listen. Picked everybody else. There must have been 10,000 clown. pictures of me last night from Grock. People just TJ Lang explored the space. He really explored the space. He said he. had no idea that this was possible. And. he started sending me texts just I I.
didn't know this is this is scary. He. was saying to me, "This is scary that. this is possible." I go, "Yeah, so stop. doing it." He goes, "Well, I just gave. you tattoos. I I can't. I just got you a. pacifier. I just put pigtails on you.". I'm like, "Stop doing what you're doing, TJ." He goes, "This is scary, man." I'm. like, "Yeah, I know. So, stop doing it.". He said, "Uh, I'm not going to be able. to sleep tonight." Just exploring what. Grock's capabilities are. I'm like, "Go. to bed, TJ. Enough of it." He weren't. the only one. There was a lot of that. Now, there was some good ones as well. A. lot of me as a clown. Sure. And I'll.
say, Grock, you are a talented artist. Okay. The way you were able to do this. so many different ways for people in a. matter of seconds is certainly. something. I asked you numerous times, what what were you doing, Drock? Can you. stop bullying me? There's people that. made me uh look jacked. There's people. that made me look stupid. They even put. me on top of New York City. Did you see. what Grock was able to do? Put me on top. of New York City. I was kind of the king. of New York at different times. They had. me wrestling. They had me hanging out. with Ben Stiller. I think a lot of. people learned last night that Grock can. literally do whatever you wanted to do. anything. There's a couple people that.
utilize Grock to respond to John Cougar. Melon Camp as well last night. Man, those were masterful, too. No, those. weren't even photos. Hawker that it was. almost like a short story poem, if you. will. Just I saw a couple of those pop. up. I saw some of those pop up. So, was. John Melanchamp, who was he standing up. for? Who was he grandstandings for? Like. he not Indiana Pacer fans? No. Good. people in Indiana, you know, cuz I was a. terrible person. I was somebody. It was. nice to feel like somebody though for. one day. Not even though he was standing.
up for the big city bigwigs because he. said he was like he called out you know. these these Knicks fans down there and. they got booed and that's not who's your. hospitality. So he wasn't even say you. know he wasn't even like some average. Joe Knicks fan. He was he was upset that. you were calling out the big city. bigwigs who were down there in he was. saying this is not what uh this is not. what we do. He was standing up for the. real people of Indiana. No no I think. Tyy's right. I saw him taking a knee uh. kind of doing the whole entire thing.
kind of basically bending the knee to. the gritty corporate fat cats of New. York. Well, I appreciate the fact that. he made the graphic. It was a good. graphic, you know. I appreciate the fact. kind of tough to read. Kind of tough to. read the white over overlay in the. picture behind it. It's a good picture. I mean, the white on white shirt didn't. do it for Yeah, but little diddy. two kids growing up in hot land. You. know what they say, Jackie going to be. her football star. That's a heater.
Yeah. Okay. That is an absolutely Oh, baby. It hurts so good. Sometimes love. don't feel like it. should hurt so good. Banger. This guy makes good music and. he, you know, has been from Indiana his. whole life. So, I respect that. Seen at. a lot of events. Don't respect him. sitting down at those just Yeah.
Everybody else is staying. That's tough. That's tough. Do you think he has any. idea of uh the, you know, specific. individual stories that people reached. out to him and let them know happened? I. don't know if you can hear what all the. peasants are saying. Yeah. Whenever. you're high horse in the way John Mel. Camp has and think about how much his. horse has grown over the last few years. It was a high horse. Now that some [ __ ]. is a giant giant. That thing's a giant. and he's just Hey. Hey. This guy [ __ ]. made people boo poo in a sporting event. I don't think so. He came riding in pain.
today. Little didd he [ __ ] I think. on his high horse. Yeah. Can't hear what. everybody else is saying. Bingo. You. know, he can't hear what everybody else. is saying. Yeah. And I don't think he. was the one that I don't know. I always. try to make the benefit of the doubt for. these olds. Sure. No, I think he was in. in uh Do you in all that software doing. it? I was trying to think of the uh editing. software, but I couldn't come up with in. my mind. Got some $299 a month me on his. phone. You think he made that? I think.
there's a how bad it is. I think there. was somebody that told him he should say. something cuz he probably read like the. there was the Hollywood Reporter. Sure. Variety. Yep. At least Sports. Illustrated, many others. New York Post. New York Post. Yeah. He was reading all. these. He was reading all these. He's. going. And somebody around him was. like, "You should say something, John.". And he said took the toothpick out of.
his mouth cuz what he does? He looks. super cool. Yeah, I should. And then he. said something and then somebody goes, "We'll put that on X-ray." He goes, "Yeah, make sure people hear that.". Bingo. And they walked away. Exactly. And then they were like, "We're gonna. make this look sweet. This a good quote. to [ __ ] put it on the picture. Bang. Bang. Make this thing artsy." Has. anybody told him how this has gone? I. think I would guess word has gotten back. to him at this point. John, don't don't. ever We're not doing that again. Okay. We're not doing that ever again. Try to.
tarnish your reputation overnight. You've been making bangers for 45. goddamn years now. Everyone hates your. guts overnight. No, it turns out he just. learned that everybody hates his guts. I. think that's what we all did. I did not. expect that reaction to be honest. I. thought I was in one there. I I thought. I was in one there. I was like, yeah, when I saw the quote, I'm like, "Oh, no." Cuz John's at every event. If he. can get free tickets, John's going to be. there. But who was Like I said, the. who's he you like first off with your. whole promo that you did it the whole.
place, the whole arena was jacked. The. players were jacked. Everybody was. pumped. Who was he standing up for? Well, he heard that Ben Stiller maybe. wasn't happy because remember the Ben. originally, I think, was a little uh. indifferent about it. Then Ben, I think, watched it back. Heard that I said ears. ringing and not just said, "Get these. sons of [ __ ] to New York." And then. Ben was like, "Oh, cool. You should come. out to like he was past the point of. everybody that he thought he was. standing up for getting past it.". They're like, "Oh, okay. Understand? Makes sense." Not that any There was a. large majority of people that were. against it, but there were some people.
that were like, "This dude just said, "Get these sons of [ __ ] back to New. York." Like that does come off a little. bit, you know, like the people that are. normally the grandstanders. I guess it. was it was not for the national TV. audience though. That was that was for. that arena. For the arena. Yeah. I'm. talking to the arena right now. Yeah. And we're trying to win a game. We are. we are trying to win a game and this. atmosphere can certainly help. Especially with what I heard happened. after the race on Sunday. It's like, okay, here we go. So I I think everybody. that like maybe at the beginning were. like that was unexpected. That never. happens. Then they're like, oh, okay,
moved on. Ben literally Ben Stiller was. like, "Invite at any time." Obviously, this game not possible because the. tickets turn ticket, but invite anytime, which is very cool with Ben Stiller, by. the way. We like to say that to Ben. I. appreciate him. And I'm texting with, you know, Miles last night. Like, we all. got we everybody understood what was. going on. Yeah. I think there was like a. respect type thing. Now, I did throw. myself into the fire for the New York. Knicks fans. Now, I made myself a. target, which goes back to Grock. But. that's sports. That is what's that. competition. I'm in it. Exactly. And I. understand that, right? And I say this.
in the first hour, AJ John Coug coming after me day of the. game. Okay. Then Indiana deciding to. just Yeah. I mean just Yeah. kill him. I. mean it was a a blood bath. It really. was. It's a blood bath. I don't know if. he knows how to open X. He should not. And his people that are did this for him. and posted this for him. You're probably. going to be fired if I had to guess. I. I'm not Maybe not though. I'm not 100%. sure. Whoever relays the message is.
probably not going to get a good good. response, you know, in that entire. thing. So, you got to pick and choose. who's going to do that. But, it's like. then we got a little infighting. happening here in Indiana now. Okay. Now, everybody's kind of on one side, it. feels like, but still that's a little. negative. Then the amount of juice that. I kind of added into this with the That. was a little negative. Are you worried? Just last night, I thought we I thought. last night was going to be a tough one. You think uh the Cougar will be there. tomorrow night? Oh, I hope I hope so. Give him a microphone. Oh, yeah. Give. him a microphone for fourth quarter. Let.
him do a little diddy. That'd be great. I would love to hear it. That would be. great. Actually, there's no chance. If. he goes little diddy about everybody. would sing along. That'd be a positive. experience. For free. Yes, he is. I. don't know if they'd all sing along. after this whole ordeal. Ladies and. gentlemen, that might fall on deaf ears. No, Indiana would give him I mean, he is. a he is a Indiana guy. He could hit a. hip hip hurray like you wouldn't. believe. I bet you're right. A boom. boom. Let me hear.
do that. Uh, are you stopping over at. the memorial this weekend? Uh, I don't. know. I might. It's It's a torrential. downpour still pretty much over there. I. got a son selling Gatorades and waters. outside one of the gates trying to pick. up some extra cash. So, hopey. Are you. donating that money or is that coming. back to the Hawk house? That's going. directly to my son's uh safe in his. room. I like that. Good hustle out of. the kid. How much you charging for these. Gatorades? He's certainly not allowed to. be up for resale. Yeah, that's part of. the that's part of the the the process. what we're doing. 25 bucks a pop. Maybe. maybe you know three for 10 if you want.
Three for 12. And we bought punk. Three. for 10, one for five. That's a good. That's a good steal. That's a good deal. You got You got to take advantage of the. drunk guys coming. You go towards the. end of the tournament. All the drunk. people stumbled out of the thing. I was. driving by on the road last night. Saw. multiple people having a tough time. putting one foot in front of the other. So, they had a good time. They would. have needed three for 10 there. I don't. know where Axel was or who who's the one. doing the exact sales. Are these cold. gators? Has to be cold, right? They got. to have a cooler. Yeah, he and a couple. of his buddies have been doing it for. for a couple years. We brought like 15.
ponchos last night, too. We can upcharge. big time for those. Oh, we're selling. ponchos. We got a little. stand got coming up. Do we got any uh we. got any blueberry muffins or anything? Maybe uh uh the cheese crackers, peanut. butter crackers. That's good for the. drunks as well. Should buy a whole. bunch. Buy a whole bunches in. I don't. know. Well, I don't know if you want. your son. You know, you make sure he's. not, you know, and him and his buddies. aren't in there. But yeah, I sold six in. fifth grade. It was good. 50 cents a. sig. That's good. That's good profit. I. don't want to say you guys should be. doing that. Vin would be good. He said.
guys are asking for beer all the time, so he wants to be able to sell beer. I. said, "Well, you got to watch out cuz. there's cops all over the place. They. won't sell beer." Listen, if you're. going to sell these beers, we're going. to have to put them in Gatorade bottles. And you got Yeah. And you got to tell. them you stole them from your parents, too. We didn't give them to you. Yeah. We did not help in this process. Zen you. could sell for 50 bucks a can. 25 bucks. a can, for sure. And And those things. will go like hot cakes. All right. to. think about letting your child sell Zins. to these drunk adults. Yeah, he doesn't. know what it is. He doesn't know what it. is. Just tell my dad told me these are.
magic vouchers. 25 bucks to It's. caffeine. 20 bucks, kid. How about 20. bucks? Deal. Boom. Pow. Boom. Sell some. extends, too. This kid's going to buy. your house. Oh, yeah. I don't know. I. don't know if you need that. That is. part I mean, we've brainstormed a lot of. different things that would go well. Narcan. All right, let's talk. Ben. Griffin's in the lead. He's seven under. at the memorial. It's going to be a. muddy track. Uh, everybody's there, though. I saw Scotty golfing with. Payton. Yeah. In the proamp. He's up to. fourth. Scotty's hot today. So, so.
Scotty's going to win that. Yeah, there's a good chance. Uh, did you rent. your house to anybody? No, I'm I am in my house this year. Going strong. Let the kid make the money. this year. Smart. It's either the house. or the kids. One or the other. We didn't. rent the house. Get out there and sell. Scotty's currently plus 120 to win this. tournament. Rory's not on his heels, I'm. pretty sure, though. So, so is the. memorial. Rory's terrible. He's not. He's not. He's playing. He didn't even. call Jack to tell him he wasn't coming. Yeah, there's some beef with Rory in. this tournament now. It feels like.
Rory's on the outs with uh some of the. old heads of golf. Okay, so the memorial. everybody plays in it. It's not a major. obvious. It's an elevated event though. One of those deals. It's an elevated. event. They like it. It's does feel like. it's always packed like it feels like. Yeah. It's Jack Nicholas. Yeah. You. know, it's Jack's course. So, that's why. I think And it's now it's an elevated. event. It's a big big awesome place. So. yeah, I think it's a big deal. So Rory's. not doing the elevated event. Isn't that. like kind of the entire thing that he. was fighting for? Is he hurt? Do we. know? Is he okay? I think he's fine. But.
US Open getting ready for the Open. I. guess he has like a whole process before. the US Open. I guess he likes to do. And. remember at the PGA Championship, he. didn't talk to the media after any round. and that was a really big deal and no. one really knows why. He had something. with like they tested his driver and. they don't know if it was officially. like legal to use. So there's been a lot. of stuff with Rory going on. Is he okay? I hope he's okay. I think he's okay. Rory, we hope you're okay, bud. Look at. us. Who's your hostility? He won the. Masters. He's happy. He's got to be. happy. Yeah. They're not happy with him. Just call the Golden Bear next time. All. right. Exactly. Let him know you're not.
coming. Make a graphic like Cook. Exactly. That would work. Exactly. Sorry. to bear. I try to read like you remember. those 3D photos you had to cross your. eyes with? Oh, yeah. That's what it felt. like reading that graphic. Yep. There's no way he's reading it. Oh, Coug's not happy. Is that Coug's nip? He. said it. That's somebody got it. How did. Coug respond to the malice in the palace. back in the day? I bet he struggled when. when the Pacers got in that fight. Well, he he was too busy sucking on chili dogs. outside. What a line. True. True. That's.
why it's such a bummer cuz it's all all. the songs are so good. I know. Yeah. I've been out on them for a while. So, this is just kind of the cherry. Don't. stand for the flag. That's it. National. anthem. Yeah. I mean, that was a big. deal. He's in the Colts box doing it to. years after it's already stopped. Yep. Doing it in the Colts box. So it's like. now everybody has to answer question. Take the free seat though. I understand. John. Take the free spots. Got to do. what you got to do. His hair is so cool. too. It's like a little.
always kind of messed up a little bit. Like that cry. You ever see the movie. Crybaby back in the day? Oh yeah. That's. literally what he looked like there. Little travolta and grease and he's got. that toothpick coming out of his mouth. It's always so cool looking. Yeah. So. cool looking. instead. He's a He's still touring. Said. he's a sack of bones. He could have had my back age. You know. that? I mean, it made no it it doesn't. make any sense. He's Who is he standing? He's He's apologizing to the New York. fans when he is supposedly a diehard.
Pacers. Indiana like everything Indiana. fan. Yeah. I don't know. Like he just. could have went a different way. I think. he didn't have to say anything at all. You had the thing with Ben Stiller and. then Ben Stiller was like, "It's cool, man." Hey, it is what it is. Whatever. End. End of story. Like he did that like. you said. It was 2 days after the fact. I believe there's a TMZ article. Pat. McAfee responds to John Melam. Shut the. [ __ ] up. Oh yeah. Pat McAfee responds to. John. Hey coach, suck it buddy. That's a. good line. I love that. I love that.
Yeah. Had to do it. Had to do it. Had to. do it. by screen did by John Cam. Oh, look at who's in the background of. that that post right there. Uh I don't. know. That's John to the left. Oh jeez. What is that? It's the uh documentary. That's Diddy's trial. Hey, I would I. haven't been keeping up with that. A lot. of stuff's been being said about a lot. of people. Yeah, a lot of people don't. walk into Feel Good Friday. And I never. know what's real and what isn't real, you know? I'll see like one account.
recap everything it said and then I'm. like how's this person know and like. well they're in the trial. It's like are. they is anybody else reporting this? No. Seems like they're saying some pretty. crazy stuff. Yeah, it's pretty crazy in. there. It's like well how come nobody. else is you know there's a lot going on. in there. Yeah. To the internet. I wish. it was televised. Yeah. Why? Well, isn't. it the judge's decision? I believe. I mean there's a lot of things that are. judges decisions it sounds like. And uh. you get that gown thing, you got a lot.
of power. Yes, you do. A lot of power. Yeah. And if you get called to testify, you have to answer. Just just so people. know. Yeah. You get subpoenaed. That is. the way it goes. I think it is how it. goes. Cuty taking a lot of shot. All. right. Let's talk about some news around. college ball. College football. Interesting time. A lot of changes have. to be made. A lot of changes are going. to be made. Who's going to make them? We. don't know. When are they going to be. made? No clue. There's just stuff that. has to happen. Everybody acknowledges. it. Nobody wants to actually do it cuz. the amount of work it is. But college. football is gonna remain awesome, right? That's a good breakdown. Yes, that's.
good. Play on the field. As long as the. play on the field stays awesome, we're. good. Which it is. I think Ohio State. actually has a night game, too. We got one. You get one. Yeah, you guys. got a uh you got a night game. It is. against Ohio University. The Bobcats. The Bobcats. That's a tough one. Do not. sleep on the Bobcats. Revival game. Um you guys are playing gram. Yeah. Is that gambling? Yeah, it has to. Who is that? I don't know. I think so. I. was going to say they don't play Georgia.
this year. So, they're playing Tunisia, too. Uh, just a national team there. That's. scrambling. Yep. Okay. So, they got. Texas noon. That's a big one. That's a. big noon game. Yeah, that's a big noon. kickoff. Huge. They got gramling 3:30. night game against Ohio cuz you Buckeyes. fans have been complaining this entire. time. We don't get any night games. We. don't get any night games. It does feel. like it is some [ __ ] that we don't.
get any night games, but every game is a. noon kickoff. You got a night game. Okay, now you guys can booze all day and. showcase that beautiful stadium. I. assume you guys are going to go apehit. with the fireworks and the lights. We. only have two of these all season. It's. going to be a playoff game and this one. against Ohio cuz every other home game. has to be at noon because Fox has made. that their new main slot. That's an. interesting move. And I wonder if the. Big 10 commissioner, and I don't think. it was Petiti who did this deal. I think. it was Kevin Warren did this deal. I.
wonder if he truly understood that this. could potentially turn an entire school. schedule into just noon games, noon. games, noon games, which has happened to. you guys, right? Isn't that what has. happened to Ohio State basically? Oh, yeah. Be I mean, I don't know how. everything works, but yeah, they get to. pick the the games that they want for. for the noon games. And of course, why. wouldn't you pick Ohio State? I' I'd. want them as many times as possible. team up north. It's not It's not. Tunisia. Okay. It's not Tunisia. Okay. So, that's uh But there that was a. surprise to all of us that it was not.
that. There is the ability to have these. Big 10 games as night games. It was. announced that Penn State's white out. game is going to be Oregon at home. I. believe that one's going to be at night. if I remember correctly. At least I know. it's the white out game. So, like, yeah, I mean, to have your big noon game, but. also doesn't have to be Ohio State's. every every game. Doesn't have to be. It. does feel like it is Ohio State every. week, though, isn't it? And you know. why? Cuz like, uh, I've learned this. through the College Game Day run here. for the last three years. It's like the. amount of people that are watching. College Game. Day in Columbus and in the state of Ohio.
is like the most in the country, I. think. And then you look at the college. football ratings, it's like what state. is watching at a higher percentage than. every I think like Ohio is like by far. number one. Always has been that way. I. assume AJ, I mean, yeah, I'm sure. there's been ups and downs, but yeah, I. mean, there's huge school, huge alumni. base all over the world. Yeah, of why. wouldn't it be? Yeah. So, if you're Fox, it makes sense like, hey, we've invested. a lot of money in this conference. We've. invested a lot of money in this game and.
our stats and analytics tell us that if. Ohio State is playing anybody, if. they're at noon, we're going to draw a. big number regardless. Even if it's a. blow up, we're going to draw a big. number. So, you see why Fox does it. But. I wonder if Ohio State knew that this. was a potential ripple effect of this. No way, right? There's no way Ohio State. knew this. No, their new AD, Ross Bork, he's awesome. He's been there about a. year. He wasn't here when this all. started. I know he's been trying to push. back and figure it out and have some of. these night games, but yeah, what do you. do? Like you're you're locked in. If.
you're Fox, I get it. If you're Ohio. State, you're screwed. Like, what what. are we doing? And I don't think Patiti. did the deal either. So, Petiti is like. probably hearing it from I assume Ohio. State, which is a very prominent school. in the Big 10. Has a lot of a lot of. people, a lot of power, a lot of success. obviously. So, Petit's got to deal with. it too, I assume, from Ohio State. And. Fox is just like, "What do you want us. to do? We gave you guys billions of. dollars and this is a guarantee. maybe. create other teams. I don't know what. Fox would say out of that. Well, that. that's what because I understand like. the Fox aspect of it, but and I'm sure.
they have maybe like once or twice, but. I don't think they've been on C, you. know, cuz there's like the CBS, they. have the late afternoon game and the. night game too for Big 10. And then. there's also like the Peacock game that. they've been doing where like they have. night games on those. Like it's. interesting that for at least a couple. of like their nonmark Big 10 matchups. that they aren't games on one of those. So Ohio is a peacock game. There you go. So I guess that's the only way then the. Oregon Penn State one that I referenced. also a peacock also a NBC game. It's not.
Fox. So I think the way that deal was. set up is Fox owned all the games. Fox. then subleasased games to other people. through Big 10 negotiation. So then Fox. had to give up games ahead of time, I. think, so they can market it. So they're. not going to give up any of the They're. not going to give up any Ohio State. game. Oh, you can get them when they're. taking on the Bobcats at Ohio University. for sure. Uh, everything else we would. like first glance at at least. And from. Fox's standpoint, if that's allowed, it's like makes sense. Understandable. But from Ohio State standpoint, can we.
cap this? We have like Can there only be. like two or three of these things that. are allowed to be at noon? Because I. assume that Columbus at night is insane. I've never been there. Yeah, we have. Tennessee. You were there. Tennessee. Oh, yeah. Tennessee. Insane. Freezing. cold. Yeah. Freeze. drone show. I mean, there was a whole. Yeah. There was a whole thing. Yeah. And. every single game is at noon and it's. like everybody's watching guys. Ohio. State's atmosphere pretty good. You. pretty good. Penn State though, they do. that white out with the fireworks and.
everything. That's great. That's what a. good atmosphere is. People at Ohio State. are like, uh, you don't think if we had. nighttime, we'd be able to do some other. [ __ ] as it's just the world you're in. I. guess too much success. And after Ryan. Day golfs with Nick Sabin for an entire. round at the Memorial, who knows if Ohio. State ever loses another game. Yeah. Who. knows if Ohio State lose another game in. this entire thing. Yeah. It's a smart. move too by Fox just cuz if they kick. the games off a little later, it can. boost the ratings of other shows they. have. But when you look at that. schedule, you're talking about like a. 12:20 kickoff. Yeah. And usually it's.
just noon, but they decide to do it at. like 12:15, get that average peak up. Whatever the hell it is, it's all fake. Uh, you know, I look at that schedule. Ohio Bobcats gramling gramling state. You know, it kind of does make sense the. SEC's all up in arms because the SEC is. kind of running through the gauntlet. I. see Ohio State with a bunch of cupcakes. up there on their schedule and you know, all of a sudden I kind of get what Glen. Kein says. I know I said the Boohoo Lane. Kein rule yesterday, but hold the phone. It looks like the Big 10's got a bunch.
of I just got corrected. I just got. corrected. Jim Delaney, who was the Big. 10 commissioner before Kevin Warren and. Fox, uh the uh the ones that set this up. for Ohio State and Michigan to be stuck. mostly is the information that I just. received from Source Sizz. And I assume. when they were negotiating the deal, they knew like it's going to be probably. one of these two schools. They didn't. tell Ohio State that. They said it'll be. whatever the best whatever the best. thing is will be at noon. We get a I. mean this entire network is basically.
like going to give us major slots. It's. good news. Billions of dollars too for. everybody. And all of a sudden, what's. week one? Ohio State. What's week two? Whoever's playing Ohio State. What about. week four? Buckeyes. Columbus. Week five? Yep. Yeah, you guessed it. Six Michigan. Yeah. How many more years? How How long are they locked into this. deal? I think it's pretty long, brother. Yeah, it's a good one for the I think. you're locked in there pretty long,
brother. I think this is uh I think it's. early mornings for the Columbus folk. And I would like to say to the Ohio. State. fans, cuz I think game day is going to. be there, I don't know, I assume. numerous times throughout the season, don't get bored with us, you know, we're. not the one scheduling the noon games. No, Tennessee took that thing over for. the playoff college game day. Ohio State. is a place that gets a lot of college. game day, you know, so their fans maybe. not always as jacked up to go out to. college game day, you know, and uh I.
would like to tell the Ohio State. people, we love doing it on your campus. We appreciate your hospitality and come. hang with us. They should embrace it. Like embrace the noon thing instead of. bitching about it every week, you know, embrace it. Yeah. You're welcome. You. get to some of the best teams in the. country play right at noon. No, they. want to showcase their university. That's what they want. Yeah. It's light. out. You can see better. Yeah. I I guess. what? I can see all those trees better. cuz it's like if it was dark out, I. wouldn't be able to see AJ Hog's tree. Yeah, but you can't see fireworks. You. can't see the light show. You can't see.
the light. You can't You guys haven't. They should build a dome so they could. turn off the lights. Put a roof on it, I guess. Then yeah, we could make it. look like a night game indoors. Bingo. I. mean, step it up to Biddle. You know, all this light show stuff. I thought you. were to. Why don't you just do play your. drums, drum boy? You know, do one of. those. They do. Drum boy does. play a ladder, drum boy. Yeah, they do. They do the whole thing. You want to.
show off your entire atmosphere, it. starts and ends with the fiddle. Forget. about the fans and everything, which are. obviously very important in this entire. thing and I feel for him. The players. having to play at noon every [ __ ]. week. Every week. You're the best team. in the country. You just won the. national championship. You got to play. noon. What's wake up call? 7:00 a.m. 6:00 a.m. This is what we're doing every. single time. It's like I think they. deserve to have a little bit of a prime. time game under the lights. Under the. lights to the entire couple, but that's. not going to happen. Kind of helps with. the College Football Playoff though. where like you do get to those night.
games then you kind of know. Oh, this. feels like a big deal. Yeah. Here we go. This is what we're playing for. So cold. So cold. So cold. So cold. That was part. of the winning factor. Yes, it was. All. right, let's pivot away from college. ball. Uh congratulations to the WWE and. the Big 12 reaching agreement for. Smackdowns. Uh I believe to go to a lot. of the big markets before the couple of. the Big 12 games. I don't know how many. games it is, but I do know that this is. a continuing relationship that is being. built between the WWE and the Big 12.
Remember, they have a title. I believe. Undertaker was there uh giving out the. championship. And now Friday Night. Smackdown will hopefully kick off a Big. 12 big weekend at some of these places. I like it. I think it's beautiful. I. think it's a wonderful thing and if you. already got a city that's ready to. explode, pop Smackdown in there on. Friday, come have a night, then roll. into the weekend. I think it's a great. relationship. Congratulations to all. parties. I assume Morgantown, West. Virginia. It's going to have a few of. these in their world, especially with.
what I'm hearing. What are you hearing? Well, I'm just hearing Rich Rod still a. coach. Oh, got I did hear that he's. going to bash someone over the head with. a keyboard like Urban Meyer. What. happened? or sorry that was Charlie. Strong. Urban Meyer gave it to him. Didn't that happen? Oh, you're talking. about AW. Oh, yes. Excuse me. That was. not actual coaching. That that was AEW. professional wrestling down there. I. believe that was Stadium Stampede is. what you were referring to where they. rolled through Urban Meyer's office. And. uh remember Urban Meyer, one of his. first things down there in Jacksonville,
he said everybody uses this word elite. Elite elite everywhere. The name of the. wrestling promotion that is founded in. that stadium is all elite wrestling. He. said, "We need we everybody's not. everybody's elite. We need to be on the. edge. I'm tired of hearing this word. elite." It's like, "Well, it's a rest.". All right, Urban. All right, Urban, let's go to the NFL, shall we? Joining. us now, ladies and gentlemen, is the. host of the weekly wrap-up of the rap. sheet and friends. Us being a friends, he being rap sheet. Ladies and. gentlemen, Ian Rapaore. What's up? What's going on? You're in. the big city right now. You That's a.
great I am in the big city. Yeah, looks. looks framed kind of nicely actually. It's pretty cool. Yeah, I got some trees. around your head. You got a good. building in the back, good lighting, good polo. How are you? Everything good? I'm good, man. This is uh Yeah, it's. very nice. I heard you guys talking. about college football. I had no earthly. idea what you're talking about, but I. guess that's okay. Yeah, I Well, just. know that Ohio State's playing at noon. Unless they're playing Ohio University, then it's a night game. And uh the Big. 12 and the WWE have built their. relationship. Seating is coming. That's. a good one. I saw that. Seating is.
coming to the college football playoff. as they're going to continue to evolve. and trying to find the right answer. And. um there's a bunch of dogs coming out of. college football, so the sport's always. going to be good, but the chaos around. it is going to survive. Now, let's go to. the NFL. Quy signs an extension over. there for Minnesota. We knew this was. coming. And uh is this the time of year. for executives to get paid normally? Uh it's actually normally not. You guys. hear me? Okay, by the way. Yes, you. sound great. All right, good. Um yeah,
it's actually not usually the time of. year that executives get paid. This is. one they've been working on really for. some time. Kevin Oonnell uh the other. leader of that organization got paid uh. right around I think it was February, right? I think it was either late. January, early February. Um so Kevin. Okonnell gets paid. The plan was always. to pay uh Adop Mensah as well. And if. you're the Vikings and you know you've. kind of built this really good budding. you know team that should be on the rise.
um these are the two guys kind of behind. it. So locking in both of them longterm. makes a lot of sense. And you know, I. don't know where the Vikings are going. to go, but they got a lot of talent. They got a young quarterback that they. like a lot. Like this, you know, should. be a team that does really, really good. things in the future. Might as well sign. the guys behind it before you do. anything else. So I think very, very. good things for Minnesota. Okay, you're. probably getting updates right now on. your watch as you're talking to us on. your phone. I appreciate that. If you. have any news to break, just go ahead.
and spit it out. Okay, just go ahead and. let it out. We'd love to hear that on a. feel-good Friday. Uh the Minnesota. Vikings only question mark is. quarterback. Is JJ McCarthy going to be. a guy? What have you heard from. Minnesota? There was some rumors about. potentially Aaron Rogers coming in. There are some rumors about what they. were going to do. JJ McCarthy solidifies. himself, I think, from everybody's. perspective as being the next. quarterback for the Vikings. Herb Street. said they're going to get better because. JJ Orlovski said it. Jim Harbaugh said. it. Everybody has said this guy is made. for the moment. with how great that team.
is, if he can play exactly how everybody. expects him to play, this team's going. to be in a Super Bowl hunt for the next. 10 years. Is JJ the guy and what are you. hearing out of Minnesota? Yeah, I mean, I I would say everything I've heard has. been very positive for JJ McCarthy now. I mean, he didn't play as a rookie. So, there's always going to be that, you. know, sort of not concern, but just. question mark. It's like, what is it. like when he actually plays when the. lights come on? you know, is he any. different or is he everything you would. hope, right? Um, there's been a lot of.
positivity and, you know, if you're the. Vikings, they know more than we do. They've seen more. They've seen more. behind closed doors. Obviously, they. have relationship. They've seen him. during training camp. They've seen all. of the things. They could have brought. in a a veteran quarterback and, you. know, they made an offer for Daniel. Jones. We know that, but wasn't that big. of an offer. um they you know if they. knew if they really felt like he wasn't. ready they would have gone all out for a. veteran and they didn't. Um that to me.
probably says more about their. confidence than any words. Um should be. really good. I mean if he's just pretty. good then as a team given where the. defense should be given the weapons like. they should really be they should be. very very good. Excited to watch the. Vikings continue to grow. Ryan Griggson. also assistant general manager. Happy. for him and his great beard. Hopefully. he'll get another shot at running team. Until then, uh, maybe they get a Super. Bowl ring in Minnesota. Let's talk about. the team that did win the Super Bowl. last year. Shfer is reporting that Bryce. Huff is being traded or they're. finalizing a trade for him to go to the.
San Francisco 49ers. Obviously, he has. history with Robert Salah. This would be. the third player now from the Jets uh, under Salah that is being sent to the. 49ers. Do we know this is possible? And. what are your thoughts on the San. Francisco 49ers's moves thus far? Yeah, I mean Bryce Huff has not been present. with the Eagles that obviously like they. paid a lot of money for him last year in. free agency did not work out. I think. they've tried, you know, for a while to. to send him somewhere um to kind of make.
it make sense, still do a bunch of. money. I think there's some still some. questions about like how they figured. this one out, but you know, if you're. the 49ers, um it's a player who's got. talent, who obviously again was a you. know, a big ticket free agent item a. year ago. Um, he's healthy now, which I. assume he is to complete the trade, add. him to the mix, you know, some help off. the edge. I I'd say given the. familiarity with Salah, like that that. makes a lot of sense. And just knowing. uh, you know, Salah's thoughts and views.
on Bryce Huff, this is a player he. really, really, really liked. And I know. um, you know, I'm sure he's going to be. extremely happy right now. Yeah, absolutely. And uh the Eagles are going. to pick up 9 million of the salary is. what's being reported and then the ners. will pick up the rest of that. That's. kind of the conversation for all these. uh veteran players after salaries have. kind of been figured out and contracts. have been figured out. It's like who's. paying the bill here because that's a. big part of it especially at this time.
of the calendar year for NFL teams. Yeah. And and you know, I would say for. this one, like if you're going to trade. a player who obviously did not perform. with the Eagles and he's got a lot of. money, like they're if they want to. trade him, they're going to have to eat. some of it. You know, I would say it's a. similar conversation. um you know, similar conversation with. Jaylen Ramsay. Like, you know, obviously. the Dolphins are are certainly open to. trading him, but seems like he's open to. leaving do $21 million. Like, how much. money are they going to pay if any? And.
if it's none, then it's like, all right, like how how does this one make sense? So that's, you know, when you get a. veteran who has not lived up to what you. hope, generally if you're a team that. wants to get rid of them, you got to eat. a little bit of money. That's obviously. what happened here. Go ahead, AJ. Shifty. or excuse me, Ian rap. Wow. We did that. before, didn't we? Going low is that he. hasn't done that. Oh, I know. We just. mentioned that the chefy tweet and. everything. Hey, it was in my brain. Sorry about that.
Rap sheet. What about John Smith getting. traded? Rap sheet. How much do you Is. this a serious situation here? Is this. real? I think John Smith wants to make. money. Uh it feels to me and you know. there's been some teams that have kind. of nosed around some veteran tight ends. John Smith is one. Kyle Pittz is. another. You know, usually you get to. this point you can you can do some. trades. Um they can happen. It's just a. little more rare and a little like a.
little hard to do. Um, you know, again, it depends on how much a team wants to. get rid of a guy like the Bryce off. Eagles are motivated to to do the deal. and and basically move on for a player. who didn't, you know, didn't really. figure into anything they wanted to do. It's different for John Smith because. like he is actually a part of what the. Dolphins want to do. Feels to me like he. wants more money and would like to stay. Uh, you know, I know he wants a lot. Um, we'll see what they end up doing. But. again, going back to the Ramsay thing,
like if they are able to trade Jaylen. Ramsey, that's $21 million. Some of the. $21 million will come off the books. depending on how much they pay. So that. might trading Ramsay might help Jon. Smith get the contract he wants as well. Johnny Smith being traded to the. Steelers would be awesome for the. Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, I mean, got a. chance to see some Pittsburgh Steelers. last night. I will say got a chance to. chitchat with a few Pittsburgh Steelers. Good lads. Which ones? I'm not going to. say their names. Herbig's a good dude.
Her Herbig is a hilarious guy. He was. one of them. Cam's head still. Humbly. Yeah. I saw Cam Hayward eating a salad. Wow. At 8:00 p.m. last night. He was in. a suite that had everything available. Everything. Chicken wings, pizza, sandwiches, you name it. Everything was. available. Cam Hayward 8:00 p.m. Lot of. chips. Lot of chips. Cookies. I mean, there was you name it. Delicious. 8:00. p.m. salad sitting down right in front.
of me. Committed. I watching Nick's. Pacers. We're in between Jelly Roll and. Post Malone. Literally here. Turn. around. Look down. I see him eating a. salad. I go, "This is a game. There's. got to be a work." He's doing this for. show right now. What? What is it? Eats. the whole thing. Cleans it up. Cleans it. up. Obviously, who would you expect him. to eat? Like a big old like, you know, meatball or something. Yeah. Big little. meatball. Big old. meatball. One big one. Yeah. Yeah. Good. Let me eat some a massive just like a.
massive I I just 8 p.m. salad in the. suite that we're in. I did not expect. And I told him nobody in the history of. football with a T in their position. title has ever had a salad at 8:00 p.m. at a concert with everything that has. been available around. Keanu wasn't even. thinking about it. Not even Keanu dog. By the way, I really like this Steelers. team. Yeah. After last night. chitchatting with him, I really like. what the the cut of the Steelers gym. I. I am a big fan of the way they operate. Who's going to be their quarterback rap?
Who's going to be their quarterback? Do. you know yet? I mean, I will say it. again. I would be surprised if it's not. Aaron Rodgers. I would be surprised if. it is not Aaron Rogers. Oh, you talked. to him. Um, does is somebody here might know more. than me? It is possible. But to me, God. Steelers telling you that rap sheet. Are. the Steelers telling you that? AJ, no. I. think the Steelers are more kind of like. they know something. We want him, but. and we hope we get him, but we just.
don't know. And like, you know, they. have been so I do think they've handled. this the right way. They have been so. patient making sure that everything that. happens is exactly as he wants and plans. that they've never been like like when. I've had conversations with Steelers. people about this, I've never felt like. it's some sort of like power player. where they're trying to get this done, want to force it. They're like when he. decid like we'd like to know when he. decides he decides and that's okay. And. like it feels like the offseason's been. going on forever. Um but there really is.
a ton of time before the season starts. So there there's there's some time. I. concur. But the way you all have been. reporting it is as if the Aaron Rogers. is the Steelers quarterback. Done deal. So all the people in Pittsburgh are. like, I'm tired of seeing this guy with. water guns out there with who? What's. his name? Mike Bub. Mike Thud. Mike, I. don't care. Why is he not at OTAAS with. the rest of his teammates? And it's. like, well, he's not a member of the. Pittsburgh Steelers. And uh he has. clearly come out and say he's not going. to be a member of any team until after. all the OTAAS until the summer. And if.
teams don't want to wait around for him, he completely understands. He doesn't. want to have to do the whole song and. dance of being the bad guy for missing. some of the offseason workouts like he. was last year, even though he went to. 98% of the offseason workouts. So, he. said he got a lot going on. So now. everybody's just run with it like, "Oh, you signed up with the Steelers. You. signed with Steelers. Signing with. Steelers." Then OTAAS happens. He's. doing a QTA uh a Q&A with some shorts on. with Mike Stud down there in Texas. And. everybody in Pittsburgh's like, "Why is. our quarterback answering questions.
about Chicago Bears in Texas when his. teammates are up here in Pittsburgh. working to win the Super Bowl?" And then. you got to remind everybody he's not a. member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Never. said he was, but it's all just been kind. of alluded to the fact that he is. That. I get it. That's what it feels like. Yeah. Yeah. Literally, everybody has. said that. It's an interesting. situation. It's a very interesting. situation cuz I hear a lot of yinsers. Sure. Me, then get it last night. Heard. a lot of yinsers. And also completely. understand if they're being told this. guy's your quarterback. This guy's your. He's just not your quarterback, right? But he's going to be your quarter. He is.
your quarterback. You might as well view. him as your quarterback. And then he's. not doing it. It's like, where's our. quarterback? We're the Pittsburgh. Steelers. What's this guy think? This. guy thinks we're the Arizona Cardinals. Yeah. What What does this guy Well said. What does this guy think we are? We're. the Pittsburgh [ __ ] Steelers. That is. how the people in Pittsburgh feel. Volunteers, not hostages. What we've. always what we've always said. Little. did Aaron know is if he would have just. he would have just signed and probably. missed OTAAS because of reasons that he. said it probably would have the the back. no the backlash or whatever probably. would have been less than it is right.
now where not signing playing this game. See fans are waiting around playing this. game. Look at this. Is it. tell you what if he signs he's been. playing games. What? Guys, playing games. He's dealing. with personal things. Bingo. What if he. hasn't even had thought whether he wants. to play? What if he's still trying to. figure out whether or not he wants to. play? I mean, well, if it's taking you. this long to decide if you want to play. or not, hang him up. Coming from a guy. named AP Tone, he's done. Yeah. Not a. 41-year-old guy who has committed his.
entire life to football. I mean, it is. it's a fascinating situation. I um I. too, and I think AJ's even said we got. to get an answer at some point. I think. AJ's been on the record of saying that. I think we all feel that way, but. there's only one person who truly knows. Yeah. And I think we all know that. Good. luck, Aaron. Pull them for you, buddy. Good luck. I will say being in Pittsburgh last. night, asking a lot of people who their. who's going to be your quarterback. Who's going to be your quarterback? That's my first thing everybody. They. love that. They go Aaron's our. quarterback. Do you know? Do you know? This is not Steelers fan or Steelers.
players. Obviously, a lot of Steelers. fans though bumped into. Mhm. And I They. go big one. We're going to get it this. year. I'm like, "Who's your quarterback? Who's your quarterback?" And I go, "You. you know, you know." And I'm like, "I do. not know. Do you know Aaron's our. quarterback?" And it's like, this is. what AJ's life is like, I assume. Also, like every every second now, it's just. like, uh, AJ, what do we hear? Well, it's been And AJ lies to us just like, that's why he said, "Are you hearing. that from the Steelers?" Cuz AJ wanted. to know what all he's allowed to say. AJ. wanted to hear what all he's allowed to.
say and what somebody else has already. said. It's obviously going to be a story. until it's not. And then once it isn't a. story, there'll be some new story about. Aaron because that's the way his life. often works. Let's talk about some of. the other stuff happening around the. NFL. There was a yacht party that. everybody saw. Go ahead, uh, Boston. Connor. Yeah, refuge situation brewing. with Stefon Digs in New England. My. sources are telling me that the things. that are seen in videos were pop rocks. They were actually uh sealed because uh. there were kids on there looking for pop. rocks. That's also why he's being.
referred to as daddy in said video. Um, I'm just curious if you You don't want. to make mix pop rocks with pop either. Soda. People don't even want to know. what happens when pop rocks go in the. ocean. It is not just bad for the. environment. It's bad for fish, plaque, algae, they all die. I didn't even think. about the plaque. It's terrible. Yeah. Um, and that's in the water. And that's. why Stefon Day is kind of caring for, you know, not just the kids on his Got. to got to get to the Is Steon days going.
to get in trouble at all? Ravi, is there. any um situations looming from the. league or from the Patriots in general? Uh and and what Mike Vrabel said about. it, does that make you think um there'll. be any team discipline as well? Yeah, I. mean my thought from from Vrael is that. just listening to him, he's maybe not. like the most thrilled of all time, especially when you have a big free. agent sign still coming back from an. injury partying on a boat with I think. Cardi B, right? which I mean could be.
anyone not that bad to you rap sheet but. there was a lot of girl I mean there was. seemed to be several girlfriends I don't. know that situation I'm just saying. there seemed to be a lot of them he was. very close I mean in physical proximity. with whatever he was on boat there was. things that I mean why are we see we. should not be seeing this like as. somebody who is uh Stefan's been on the. show before love how good of a football. player he is like hey mate come on you. know that's Well, but he's living he's.
living his life, but the whole thing is. like uh he knew what the reaction was. going to be, right? The reaction has. been exactly what we thought it would. be. And that's what I don't understand. is like like look, I don't know what was. in the pink whatever pops. Uh and we'll. probably just told you watermelon pops. I thought it was the um what's the. thing? It's got the the four flavors of. powder with the milk thing that you dip. in. Oh, fun dips. Fun dip. Yeah, but. that's what I thought. It was a fun dip. That's white powder or excuse me, purple.
powder. That's not Excuse me. Are you. okay? That's not They're not coming for me by. the way. Anyways, that whole thing is. just like you see it and it's like okay, he's living his life, but also knew this. was going to No, but also like you can't. like how does the video get out? No one. said to anyone like, "Hey, like this. guy's part of the Patriots. Like maybe. don't post this on social media." Like I. I think it's the like stupidity part of. it which is just as bad as the whatever. he was doing. Going dummy. Yeah, he was.
going dummy out there. They were going. mad dummy out there on that yacht. I've. never done the yacht thing. Looks like. it's a good time. I think I get seasick. though. I don't Do they do a lot of this. when they're on there? Oh yeah. Lot of. dancing, jumping up and down. Yeah. Depends on if the stabilizers are. working or not. They dance like that. Yeah. No, that's not dancing. That's. That's I'm riding a wave, brother. Got. it. Got it. Lumrod. They'd probably. dance like that, too. That's it. What if. Raphi was in that was on that boat? How. awesome would that be? Even if you were. up there with him. Yeah. Floaties on. I.
mean, my wife wouldn't have been that. happy if we're just being honest. Well, she could be with me. I would have had. some How dip is. if she was if she was on the boat with. me, minus the substance, whatever that. was. The fun dip or whatever. I have no. idea. Damn. You don't have to do it. You. don't have to do it. Um, that would have. been fun. I like a good boat. It's just. we're in that time now, I guess, after. OTAAS where there's going to be a lot of. freedom and opportunity for people. Stefan Diggs has put a lot of Greg tape. uh out there as a football player. I. assume the Patriots are excited for him.
to get on the field. Uh but all this. other stuff, you got New England fans. going like, "What are you talking about? The Pop Rocks. do weren't shooting a video." Yeah. Could be shooting a movie. Maybe he's a. movie star. We don't even know. This. could be an opportunity. Yeah, exactly. Could be the next Cardi B video. Maybe. she's got an album dropping that we. don't even know about. Bingo. Maybe. Maybe. I'm sure somebody on the internet. knows. But whatever the case, Stefon. Diggs and New England Patriots. We hope. the relationship works. It's going to be. glorious. Drake May obviously will do.
well with a Stfan Diggs as wide. receiver. Vable is going to win. That's. what Vel always does. We're coming up on. a hard out here on this Feelgood Friday. We'll continue uh on YouTube, ESPN Plus, Disney Plus, and Tik Tok Live. Uh just. want to say it's been a great week. quickly here. Favorite things that. happened this week. Uh we'll start with. you Boston Connor. Uh hard to say. Not. the contra yesterday, but man, that. melamp address is going to carry me for. wind under my sales, brother. Ty, favorite thing that happened this week? Yeah, it's a layup. The coup getting.
declawed. Yeah, for sure. No doubt. For. sure. AP Tone, your favorite thing that. happened this week? Doing the show down. at Gamebridge. It was very nice. That. was this week. I know. Tuesday. I mean, Jage Jage coming in. AJ, what's your. favorite thing that happened this week? Uh, Shreg's hitting 10 threes in a row. on film. Yeah, you guys have a clean. jumper. Raport, your favorite thing that. happened in Sports World this week? Uh, shot 89 at Bayon Dog Club. Kept the ball. in the fairway except for 17 when I lost. it. Still shot 89 fairway but one.
Unbelievable. Coolest thing in the. sport. New Yokozuna. There is a new. Yokozuna. Uh, what? Yeah, there's a new. Yokozuna that has been crowned. Nobody. told me about this. Yeah, it's a big. deal. We'll continue. We'll be back uh. over reaction Monday. Be a friend. Tell. a friend something nice might change. their life. Goodbye. All right. Now we continue with What was. your favorite thing? My favorite thing? Yeah. Game bridge was cool. Yeah, that. game was cool. It was I mean Triple H. Nick, my wife, King of Kings. That was a.
good time. Tyrese doing what he did. Tyrese went bananas. Yeah, that was. awesome. Damn, that was cool. Jelly roll. yesterday. JJ being here was cool. It's. a hell of a week. Saturday night's main. event happened on Saturday. Was that. last Saturday? Yeah. Then you Monday you. were somewhere too. Patty Maroon back in. Tampa. Tampa. Yep. The 8500. 8500. All. that was all this week. Yeah. Yeah. Lacrosse National Championships. Good. week. Hell of a week. It was a good. week. Great week. Paul Ske's birthday. Happy birthday, Paul SK. Skines. Yep.
Japan has a new Yoko. Zuna. Um, Onosato Diki. Correct. That is. topnotch. became the first Japanese man. in eight years to be named a Yokozuna or. grand champion, the highest title in the. sport. I forget the exact number. 125 in the history. It's been like Yeah, it's been I think they mentioned nine. nine years. Eight years right there. The. uh eight years the um the way you go. about it is there's a council that has.
to vote for you. There's 75 of them. 75. in total. Yoga is in a history of suma. wrestling. That's not a lot. Were those. two photos or they holding up fishes. watching a match? Um, why are they two. photos? No, that is Anosato uh holding. up the I I presume after he was, you. know, named Yoko. And he's the one on. the right there in the lighter blue. Yes. And they get a fish. Well, he eats. two fish. Just a snack. That's just one. fish, two fish, who fish, new fish. Yoko. Zuna, big fish. That's what they say.
And uh we're happy. And now that we know. the sumo wrestling business a little bit. more in detail after hosting wanted boom. big night out Ichi was known as the. Yokozuna killer. That's correct. But. neither of these men were deemed. Yokozunas. You got to get voted in by. your peers. You got to get Look at these. studs. Boom. Boom. Shane Gillis. obviously one of the greatest suma. wrestling refs in the history of. referee. Uh massive respect though.
Dudes are so big. Yeah. Lot of power. So. big. Lot of power. The guy that was. right over right there. Boom. Uh, can we. go back and pause it? That guy licking his lips right above. Shane Gillis's head right there. That. guy loves sumo wrestling more than. anybody. More more than anybody on. earth. By far. That is the USA sumo. lead. His name is. Gregory. Bruce would know. Bruce said,
"Ah, [ __ ] He's looking it up. Gallagher. We I mean we could just call. him goat because that's kind of what he. is the goat. This guy was passionate. about sumo wrestling. This guy loves. sumo wrestling and because of him I am. now more passionate about sumo. wrestling. Andrew Fuin Andrew Andrew. loves sumo and he's not scared to get in. there and mix it up with the boys either. at all. He was supposed to be a yoko. zuna but his body never developed into. one that could be 500 lb. So he's just a. little fella. Spry little fella. He's.
not scared to get in there and grab some. belts though. No, he's not scared to get. in there and show you what to do. I. think he's like the top trainer in the. world, too. He's like Freddy Roach kind. of for, you know, in the in the boxing. world. Yeah. In terms of everyone, you. know, are flying from Japan to come find. him. And Diki, actually, I believe so. I. believe he's one of his pupils. Yeah. All right, Rap. Have a great weekend. Anything we should look forward to. happening? Um, playing golf on Monday. All right. This guy's horses. Talk about the NFL. Talk about the NFL. Oh, my bad. I don't.
know. I don't think so. We got a couple things brewing, but. hopefully hopefully we'll have a couple. fun things before we all go away for the. summer. How about this? Scott Hansen. back. That's right. With NFL Red Zone. Nice. I I read Is that Is that official? I have not heard that. I read something. of it, but Yeah, you're right. Who knows. if that's real or not. I guess Ari Mirov. broke it and we should have double. checked it, but I just saw it and got. all zaked up. Did he? If Ari broke it, then I'll tell you this. I hope so. Yeah, we all do. Scott's the right man.
for the job. Every once in a while. There is. Scott answer 100 days from now equals. NFL red zone. And for those wondering, yes, I will be there. We have a lot of. touchdowns to watch together. # NFL red. zone. Hell yeah. NFL. Hell yeah. That's great news. Love. that with Scott. Congrats to him. I. assume that's a big deal. I assume he's. getting paid a handsome amount of money. for that because that is a very valuable. property for the NFL as it continues to.
shop its entire media properties and uh. as are you rap sheet. What a weapon the. NFL has in you. I appreciate that Pat. Thank you. Have a. great weekend. We appreciate you ladies. and gentlemen. You too guys. Take care. [Music]. Do we ever get ratings for that for a. red zone? Like do they ever say the. number? It's got to be gigantic. I don't. know. All everybody. Yeah, for real. Like throughout the day. I mean, yeah, everybody. Especially now with the quad box.
Not not his octo. I'm talking our quad. boxes. Multi view. Yep. You just put. boom top left is where I put it. Red. zones there. Normally sound on that one. and then Colts game top right. And then. bottom two, best games available at all. time. Then that's how we do the day. And it's. become a nice routine. It's incredible. It has become a very And Scott once. again has become a soundtrack of my NFL. Sundays basically whenever I'm at home.
Now when the Colts have a home game, we. had been going to the games, which is a. hole to do. Has a hole to do. I'm. impressed by your eyes, by the way. What's that? That you go upper. My eyes. are lazy, so they naturally droop. So I. go uh lower for Steelers and and the red. zone. Oh, so red zone lower right cuz. it's the close. It's Yeah. So I don't. have to look up Tony. That's awesome. Good for you. Yeah. What I've realized. is those top ones tough for a long time. The. strain strain on the eyes. Never thought. of that. Never thought of that. This far.
higher. It's got to be. I mean, it's. literally got to be that much higher. In the grand scheme of things. What? You. got a [ __ ] IMAX theater at your. house? God, I'm the [ __ ] worst. I. don't know. No, you're not, Tone. Jeez, you're the best, Tony. Your eyes. naturally droop. You just said. condition. Any news we haven't talked. about? Charlie Woods wins his first. amateur event at Tailor Made. Invitational. He's down two going into. Sunday. Ends up winning by five or. something like that. Oklahoma yesterday. was actually pretty sweet. Oklahoma. softball big time comeback, right? Yeah.
And the the girl there playing Tennessee. like she was shutting it down all day. I. think she has the fastest recorded pitch. ever. She's throwing like 70. I mean. like 110 equivalent if it was like from. an MLB mound. They had been shut down. all day and then they hit a three-run. walk-off homer in the bottom of the. seventh to win their first game. It was. pretty Patty Gasso's gals have no quit. I had a chance to meet I think I know. her probably. I think I know her. She's. the I think she's the best hitter on. their team. She had two homers. yesterday. Okay. I think I met her. whenever I went out and we did the. Oklahoma game day and then they asked me.
like, "Hey, do you want to go meet the. Oklahoma softball team?" I was like, "Absolutely. I would like to go meet cuz. they're dynasty type [ __ ] right?" Oh. yeah. So go over This is Ella Parker. Is. that the name? That sounds right. That's what it says. on the screen. Yeah, that sounds right. coming in a second here. Okay, Ella. Parker. I I assume I got They were all. awesome. Just want to let you know the. whole entire team. Awesome. Gaso dog and. we saw Tennessee in the first inning, I. think, got two-run lead on Oklahoma cuz. I think catcher dropped the ball and I. think something else happened. So, we.
were worried about Oklahoma and the Gaso. team maybe with an early exit. Instead, they say, "What do you think we [ __ ]. came here for?" Boom. Gone. Yeah. Love. that. Love everything about that. Boomer. Yeah. Soon high stakes, high. drama. Tennessee, by the way, if you. start looking at their sports Oh, yeah. They're starting to really They're going. pretty good. Pretty good. That game day. was Oklahoma Tennessee, wasn't it? It. was. Cuz that's when Hypo went back. Oh, yeah. Cuz that was when Hypo's defense. game. Yeah. Hypo's defense knocked like.
four guys out of the game in one series. with just regular hits, like legal hits. I'm like, whoa, this Tennessee team's. flying. And then both of them obviously. end up not being national champs. And. how Tennessee season ended last year. Jeez. And how it started the off season. Yeah. Nicoa. Oh yeah. Where's he at? UCLA. Yeah. Yeah. Who's Tennessee's quarterback? The. UCLA kid, right? Yeah. Yeah. They bas. they swapped. Oh yeah. He never played. at UCLA. He played at App State for. three years. He was their starter there. Went to UCLA to start there. Never made.
it to starter cuz Nico came in. So now. he's starting at uh Tennessee. Okay. Wild pump for football. College. football time's coming around. It's got. to got to memorize who's where. Yeah. They just dropped the trailer for NCAA. football 26 yesterday. So that's going. to start, you know, all that mumbo jumbo. going to get mumbo jumbo. What do you. mean? Yeah. I mean, you know, we were. excited last year big time. Whoa. Because it hadn't come out in like 20. plus years and then you watch this and. it's just like, oh, okay. This is just.
last year's game, you know, different. guys, different places. So, kind of the. Madden thing. But, you know, what do you. want him to do? You want him to rebuild. changes? Yeah, I do. Look, I do. You. know how much [ __ ] money they made. selling this thing last year? [ __ ]. let's take some of that cash and let's. let's maybe upgrade the product a little. bit. Starts with a B, by the way. What's. that? How much they made? Well, I would. hope so, right? Cuz how much money they. probably put into it. Grab Bushkin on. there. Yeah. See, that's what I'm hoping. Oh, Hall of Famer. Yeah, that'd be sweet if.
they did that. If they right there, too. Yeah, that Marcus Freeman, I see. Yeah, dude. He wants to play USC every year. Kirby. Smart. He said, "I don't know how I can. put this any more clear. I want to play. USC every year." They should. Period. That's not a good look for Lincoln. Riley. They there I hear there's a lot. of people not happy with Lincoln Riley. Well, I mean, if you don't win, they're. not happy. That That's basically what it. is. That if you don't win, they're not. happy with you. That's college football. Yes. In a nutshell, they need to do the. errors. if they want to take this game. to the next level, you know, with the. NBA 2K, they do errors where like the.
90s you can be a team 2000s, 2010s, present day, like if you were able to go. back and play as like the 2007. Mountaineers or the 2003 USC Trojans and. do full seasons with those guys. That. would really take the game to Yeah, they'd have to pay a lot of people. I. was going to say it probably gets messy. with that. That'd be fun. They have to. pay a lot of people. But to your point, start with a B. Starts with a B, brother. Starts with a B. They're going. to need a lot of it for a lot of people.
Yeah. Even go back to that Tennessee. team that Pton Manning let. Yeah, without a doubt. Payton play against. Archie. Yeah. Randy Moss. Oh, Marshall. Come on, dude. Come on. They need Pat. White in that game. I don't know if he. is. That's what I'm saying. I assume. they are. Coaching, right? Is he. coaching at WVU? Yes, sir. Yes, he is. I. think it's good news to have him back. I. hope the boys do well this year, West. Virginia. You know, picking up a culture and. making it the complete opposite of what. it was. Complete opposite. It usually. only takes one year, couple months, a.
couple months. Well, I mean, with the. the transfer portal in the NIO and. everything like that, you can't make. that. I was thinking about this. Rich. Rod will win games just cuz his teams. win games. Like, he will figure out a. way to win some games. So, I think. they're going to be okay. Do I think. they're going to be like, you know, this year? He'll be bowl. eligible. Better. be. Okay. Yes, they will be bull. Five or six. wins. [ __ ] hope so.
[ __ ] better. They're not all. eligible. Heads will roll. Yeah, that is. not by me. Six and a half. Okay, they will win. We got Nico. spinning it. Nico, we got another kid, Jaden, I think his name. We got like a. deep quarterback room actually. Like. very deep quarterback room. But Rich. Rodrod's our pace and everything will. win games. It is dead. Like that'll win. games for us. So I think that over is. very nice. I didn't even think about. bowl eligibility being the goal of this. entire thing. And then six and a half. it's like that is the exact goal. That.
is the exact goal I guess for this. season. I think like two year like next. season it'll be like all right we got to. culture it. You know it's going to be. hard to do that. Then you got to have to. worry about what you know signetti. mentioned the other day down there at. IU. He's like yeah Darian need a whole. new roster. I felt the pinch. I don't. have as much money as I used to. He was. telling the truth there. He was. absolutely telling the truth there. There's a lot of schools that are going. to have to deal with that. Ohio State, obviously not. Oregon, obviously not. Michigan, obviously not. Penn State,
obviously not. And that's why a lot of. people are like, "Hey, we got to get. this under control cuz the Big 10 has. all the money." Yeah. And they're going. to continue to do that, AJ. For real. I. don't think this is getting picked for. or getting fixed for a long time. Long. time. No, it's definitely not. And I. know each one of the big schools though, I I am sure that they still feel the. pressure to continue to bring in all. this. Like you said, if you're a big old. donor and you're paying a couple million. dollars like, "Okay, cool. Now, I'm. going to come back to you in 6 months. and you better reup this situation. because we need to continue to keep. these players on the roster and continue.
to recruit the guys the type of caliber. we have." So, it's a never- ending. system, never ending thing. I I feel bad. for I don't feel bad for him, but to try. to raise this NIO money for all these. schools is going to be brutal. That's a. full-time job. That's a full-time job, not for a lot of people. Think about how. nice it was for Notre Dame last year. because they go to the They're not in a. conference. So, they go to the national. championship last year and they get $20. million to do whatever they want with. And Pete Bakqua, who's the athletic. director there, big brain, big brain. I. assume he's managing it perfectly. Why.
doesn't West Virginia just go. independent? All right. Sure. Sit on that one over. the weekend. Think about keep all the. money. Okay. Let that simmer. Put the basketball team in the ACC. If. they won't take it, put it in the Big. 10. If they won't take it, put them in. the Big East. A lot less travel. Playing. in a great conference right there. Gymnastics. We got great gymnastics. Put. them Hey, [ __ ] go in the SEC. Yeah. Baseball. Baseball. Put them in the ACC.
Soccer. Soccer. Same thing. Shooting. Rifle. Yeah, you can be independent. They're. going to have to join West Virginia's. league for shooting. Yeah, we run our. own. And then for the football, just put. a schedule together. Let's take on. Maryland. Let's do Virginia Tech. Let's. do Pit. Let's do Penn State. Miami. Let's play Miami. Yeah. [ __ ] Big East. Play Miami. Hell, don't be scared to go. down there in the SEC, too. Marshall. Yeah. Don't be scared to go down there. Put that thing then win and then get the. players. We just collect all the money.
and then we don't have to travel all the. way to [ __ ] across the country for. every sport. Why don't they do that? Could Yeah, they might. We're probably. locked into a deal for another 20 years. Yeah, I would assume so. Rand will get. those boys, right? Notre Dame has it. made. Yes, they do. Notre Dame hasn't. made. That's why why would you join a. conference? Not going to. Never. Not. never never. You know, everybody's got. this apartment that they're living in. over here, this building complex that. they have like their apartments in over. here. And then Notre Dame just builds.
their own building across the street. It's like, yeah, we're just, yeah, we'll. come over, visit, have some meetings, and we'll just go back to our [ __ ] here. We own it all. We get to schedule it. all. We get to do whatever we want. And. the profit's all ours. Any questions? No. Sweet. All right, we'll come play. you guys, I guess. We You don't want to? All right, we got it. What a setup. Good. for Notre Dame. Great for Notre Dame, especially they make the playoffs, so. they get all the money. It's like first. year of the big boost. It's like whoop, here you go. And it's only going to. continue with Marcus Freeman as the head. coach, you would imagine. And then all. the other sports are great as well. And. they also don't give a [ __ ] about like.
the the cut from like the TV deal cuz. guess what? They have their own TV deal. with NBC and that's not going anywhere. either. And guess what? But I think. there's people with a lot of money that. have graduated from Notre Dame. Yeah, quite a few. Catholic church that, you. know, that that's not a cheap. institution either. They have they. pockets are pretty well lined. American. pope now. Yeah. He probably loves Notre. Dame. Chicago. There's a lot of Chicago. Notre Dame people. All of them. Who's um. without a doubt. like Yeah, he does. Thanks. He certainly.
does. Thanks. He does. He'll probably be. at their [ __ ] opening game this year. Who's the A lot of people are saying. that um college game day should go over. to the Vatican. and do a game day from over see that. why I think everybody's just saying it. because we have an American pope so we. try to figure out how American we can. [ __ ] make this place. Okay. Have Pope. Leo decide, you know, have his guess for. who's going to win the national. championship. Is he going to put the. headgear on? You think? Yeah, the whole. thing. Yep, he is. Maybe that is the. thing going forward. Maybe the celebrity.
puts on the headgear. Oh, that is a good idea. Dump that. Yeah, dump that. I don't know. Or maybe. they retire. I I would guess they'd lean. towards that. But retiring the Hector, but that is a good idea because you. could pay homage to Lee Corso. That a. lot of decisions have to be made there. in that. world. I am not uh consulted with on. those and thankfully so. Good luck out. there. That. guy that guy like built the way he Lee.
Corso is viewed for good reason. He like. build college football. Yeah. Like hey. the the as college game day and Lee. Corso got bigger and bigger, college. football got bigger and bigger. They. just kind of became synonymous with each. other and Lee Corso was incredibly proud. to represent. So hey, you want a. speaking event? Yep. I will certainly go. and represent college football b like. for so long. That's a crazy thing that. has happened. You know, I I think. obviously decisions had to be made and. uh I assume coach was on board, but it's.
like now after what do you cuz he's such. a huge, you know, that's a huge aura in. the space of college football. That's a. that's a big that's a big decision. I. I'm happy. Yeah. Think about the people. that had to be a part of that. You done good, coach. You done good. He's making his last pick, right? Is. that what they said? Yeah. That's going. to be at week one or whatever, wherever. the hell that is. The the guesses are. either Ohio State, Texas, or Florida. State where obviously uh he has ties.
Believe they play Bama someone. Oh, interesting. They go Florida State or do. they go with Ohio State and uh. Bivo? You know, cuz aren't those two? And his number Yeah, his number one his. most headgear is Ohio State. Ohio State. That's interesting. A whole another. decision. Wow. That's more [ __ ] that. like I uh happy we don't have to be a. part of. All right, let's move along to. the great weekend. And not just a.
weekend that we'll remember forever, but. a weekend that we'll talk about forever. Mhm. That's right. Cuz you know what's. happening tomorrow here in Indianapolis, Indiana, AJ? I think there's a big. basketball game. I wonder if the Coug is. going to be there. I think the Coug will. be there. I assume Coug will be there. Coug's at every event in Indianapolis. Is he? Every one of them. Toothpick. He. looks super cool. Chilling in his chair. Super. Does he live out by smoke? I do think he is actually down near. where Smokes. Is he Cabela's store is I. thought Smoke was trying to sell that.
property. I think he was just basically. saying if somebody wants to give me. [ __ ] 50 million. I think he might, you know. I I assume I assume it's hard. to It's going to be hard to move out of. that place with how big it is. Certainly. But if somebody wants to pay. for it, I'll certainly move out of this. place. He's got a a fishing pond in a. creek in his house. Yeah. basically in. the living room. I remember seeing the. pictures when that thing went up for. sale. Like there is so many properties. on that place like so many buildings and. now like it's looks awesome. Do you. follow Zillow gone wild? I do not. I. will though. I follow Zillow Gone Wild.
on Instagram. Good account. There's some. Okay, there's some good [ __ ] that pops. I'm a big Zillower personally myself. Uh. oh, I like this place. If I wanted to. live here, how how much does the nicest. house in the area cost? And you just. zoom out, you circle, and you put the. filter on the most expensive. And then. you see these houses around town. It's. like, damn, damn, damn. And then Smoke's. house goes up for sale, and you see, and. it's like, oh, I don't know if any other. states got one of these. Smokes. Uhhuh. Smoke. There's no comps. There's no.
comps in the area for Smoke's house. He's got a Cabela store as a house. I. think he actually sleeps under the. waterfall. Yeah. Really? A grotto? That's cool. Well, a grotto is the pool. behind the Would you pee your pants? Would you pee the bed then if you're. sleeping under a waterfall? that water. gushing over top of you. Um, no. I think. that's an old wives tale. Yeah, I don't. I don't know about that. I do think I. know the P testers used to turn the the. sink on if they thought guys were when. they would get in a little catcher. umpire stance to watch you take a leak. when they're drug testing you. They. would sometimes they'd always turn the.
little sink on. I remember when they. would do that for me. Yeah, I don't I. didn't need it, but maybe if you put. your hand in it, it would help. Yeah. If. you're in a dream and you're about to go. pee, that's what I need. Always you're. peeing. You got to wake. That's a real. pee. Hey, that might be a dream, but. that's a real pee coming. That's right. Got to remember that always. Whoa. [ __ ]. Let me get out of here. Startling. Can't. be an adult that pisses to bed. No. Well, I was trying to pee in a dream. Of. course. But that's Of course. Your. bladder doesn't know that. Your.
bladder's working handin hand with your. dream at that moment. Letting you react, let you do your thing. All right, let's. get the hell out of here. What What's on. tonight? Baseball. Yep. Baseball. Friday. night Smackdown. Yep. Mhm. Tomorrow Pacers. Mhm. Yeah. Golf all. weekend. Correct. Mhm. Sunday any races? Detroit, I think. Indie car. Yes. I assume there's a. NASCAR race. Yeah. There's an F there. Dale Earnhard Jr. responded to uh one of. our tweets where Darius Butler said that.
F1 was the most boring sporting event. he's ever watched. Dale Earnhard Jr. said, "We had a good time in North. Carolina Sunday night." Like, hell yeah. There's a new Dale Senior doc on uh. Amazon Prime right now as well. Very. good. Uh I haven't watched it yet, but. Bone was just he he's been texting me. while he's been watching it saying it's. unbelievable. Hey Bone, any new music. out today that we need to check out? Bone, you saw Jelly Roll and Posty. Maybe one. of the top five takes of all time from. Bone. Why did he just turn back around?
Which one? He just walked away. Bone. Yeah. Um, you know, Cole Pepper Jones. just came out with some new heat. actually. Can you get on the handheld. mic? I think it's behind you. Talk about. Joe Dippy all morning on this guy. Joe, shout out to North Central Football. National Champions. Your mic's off. Hold. on. We'll turn it on. Okay. Yeah. No, that's Yeah. Yeah. You're good. I know. I [ __ ]. [ __ ] There you go.
D about any new new music we need to. check out this weekend from uh any of. your favorite artists? Nope, I haven't. seen anything. I'm still grinding the. Morgan Wallen album. So, he did see uh. Lilo and Stitch last weekend. Said it. was life-changing. It was awesome. Lilo. and Stitch after Mission Impossible. He. still hasn't made it. He still hasn't. seen Mission. So, yeah. What's your goal. for the weekend, Debbone? Listen to some. more music, eat some burgers with no. cheese, and have a great weekend. We're. pacing. Oh, you're going to get more?
Yeah. Do you hear Shrek said he wants to. invade the city? I heard that. Are you. going to represent out there or no? Yeah. Did you last time you went to a. Pacers game? You represented for the. Pacers. Oh, yeah. No, you didn't. Yes, I. did. You were wearing a LeBron jersey. No, I was in the sweep for game three. That doesn't count. You were wearing a. LeBron jersey the last time you were on. TV. But that was right after LeBron was on. the show. It was post LeBron versation. So, yeah. I I seen you had a full circle. moment with the watch there. That was a. sentimental moment this week. Yep. Good. for you. Good graphic too you made for. them. Thank you. Always have had the.
talent. Trying to figure out the words. and where they go is something that. we're we're trying to evolve into, right? Yes, sir. Favorite song from the. Morgan Wallen album? Yeah. [ __ ] Any upbeat any upbeat ones? Like. fast ones? LA night. Yeah, LA night's. good. Miami is good. Leaving the least I could do, I think, is my favorite. Oh, that he's talking. about uh the least you could do. Hey, this this relationship is unsalvageable. Oh my god. Jeez. We I invited him over.
here. I I forgot. I forgot. I invited. him over here. That's a good song. What. about TN? You like TN? TN's good. Skull. Chevy and Browning. I know you love that. one. That's a good one. You are like. Skull and a Pinch. Yep. Yep. Be like. Skull in a Pinch. That Morgan Wallen. album is unbelievable [ __ ]. Unbelievable. Would you have known all. the songs that Posty was singing last. night that I heard? Definitely like on. the country side of it. He did country. and he did some of his uh Yeah, he only. did one of the country while we were. there from but we missed you know we had.
to leave with like an hour left so I'm. sure he did more but he did all three. Um he did his Stony album, he did his uh. morning album and he did his country. album. He's a real rock star. I would I. would recommend watching Post Malone do. anything after watching him last night. Male country artist of the year. Posty. Lil Man Jay. Now, have you heard. anything about Lil Man Jay? I have. You've done your research on Lil Man J. I respect Little Man Jay. Really? The. comparison some of you guys have to him? You guys, what does that mean? Everybody.
in the office. Not me. Not me. Little. man Jay. I've watched this kid become a. man. He's good on the internet. I. watched him go from making beats and rap. songs to now becoming this country. sensation. Yeah. He's taken everything. he's learned and that we've watched him. learn and taken it and applied it to. country music and I think little man Jay. has found his home and you need to. welcome him into the community. I. respect him. I do sound like he even.
wrote a song for Morgan Wong. Where did. he cut his teeth? Morgan Wong. Yeah. Bone said Bone said I love him but let's. let's stay away from the acoustic is. what he said earlier. Well, I mean. acoustic stuff. I mean [ __ ] Jelly. Roll had me try to sing in front of. 45,000 people last night. That was. certainly something. That was uh that. was a lot of fun. So I go there. I go, "Uh, Jelly, what am I doing? What do you. want me to do?" You know, he goes, "I. got three options for you." First of. all, I love that. I love that somebody. has three options for me. I got three. options for you cuz he's thought it out.
Jelly Roll, by the way, businessman. I believe it. He is a He's. a good I'm a big fan. Some very awesome. combos back there. Yeah, I'm a big fan. of the way his brain operates. Like I am. uh I enjoy the way he views things. I. enjoy the way he attacks things. I enjoy. his professionalism, his pre-show. routine, getting his voice ready and how. much he appreciates what he's doing and. how you could tell he's genuinely. thankful for what he's getting to. Like. I I really enjoy that. He said, "We got. three options for you." I chose the. second option, which was me starting off.
with uh coming out, saying hello, and. then starting with Renegade uh and. singing Renegade. I had to start the. band in my ear. There is the [ __ ]. band. So 1 2 1 2 3 4 1 downbeat. Oh mom, I was leading up the 11piece 36-hour. band there in my ear. So I do my. talking. Okay, I do my talking. Welcome. to Pittsburgh. This should be the. greatest night of the big ass stadium.
tour and everything that comes from. Pittsburgh is great. I rattle off some. things everybody knows. Then I call out. some local personalities from Pittsburgh. that helped shape my life. Sally Wigan. Oh yeah. Joe Nardo, rest in peace. Gave. a full shout out to him. Iron City. Permanis didn't shadow Rudies because I. didn't think enough people would have. known Rudy's. Didn't think it was right. time for the occasion, but Rudy's knew. that they were deep down in there. Now, I talked about, you know, the Steelers. being sixtime world champions, Penguins. being five time Stanley Cup champions. And we're in the home of the fivetime. World Series champion. Mhm. Pittsburgh.
Pirates. Yeah. Five times. Did you know. that, AJ? I asked Grock. I did not. That. son of a [ __ ] that twotime bully tag. team son of a [ __ ] Grock, I asked. Grock told me that the Pirates won five. World Series. I thought that was pretty. sweet. Uh, so I mentioned that booze. rain down, but it was the most beautiful. park. And then I mentioned how Jelly. Roll asked me to come out here and start. a Pittsburgh concert. The only way that. a Pittsburgh concert is supposed to. start and uh me and the the band. coordinator, I think his name is Chill. Chow. Chill. Forget his name. I'm so.
sorry. Very cool guy. Very nice. He. goes, "Hey, when do you want me to start. the Cuz I had a thing in my ear, the. thing in my ear to start the entire. [ __ ] band." And we're talking about. it. I was like, "Um, I'm going to ask. them if they'll help me." And then I. guess a good indicator would be like, "I'm just going to do Stone Cold Steve. Austin. I'm going to say, will you help. me? Uh, give me a hell yeah. Hell yeah.". And I was like, "So once I do that, we're good." And then Jelly, social. media guy, long hair, good dude. Yeah. Weapon. Weapon. Southern California kid. I forget his name. Good stash. Great.
Good hair, everything. He was good dude. He goes, "You need to do the Hell yeah. twice, don't you?" And I'm like, "Uh, what do you mean?" He goes, "You're. going to do it once and then you're. going to need to do it again, right?". And I'm like, "Good call." So, I go. right back to Bang Guy. I go, "Hey, second hell yeah." So, literally as I'm. like, "You guys are going to help me, right? Uh, give me a hell yeah." First. time they go, "Yeah." I go, "I am a [ __ ]. singer. I'm going to need you to help. me. You're going to help me, right? Give. me a hell yeah." And then as I hear it, he goes, "One, two." As they're. screaming, "Hell yeah." And I'm like, "Holy fuck." Right now I got the And I.
turn around and the entire band is. sitting there with their [ __ ] and it's. like, "Oh no, here we go." And then they. do the one, two, one, two, three, four, one down beat. Oh mama. And then you. hear him in the back. Come with me. I'm. like, "Holy [ __ ] that's pretty cool.". Then I'm in the middle of singing and. I'm like, I'm pretty exposed out here. Okay, this voice is not meant to be. doing this. And I didn't remember what. me and Jelly agreed to when he was going. to come out and save the [ __ ] day. You know, because I did say a couple. times like I don't know if my voice is. meant to be out there all by itself.
40,000 people, 11 piece band behind me. Oh my trying to sing this entire thing. So they got to a point I think in the. second one uh man is putting into my and. there's a part there you got to like. actually sing. You see me turn around. and be like where the [ __ ] And you see. Jelly Roll walking up like thank you. Bubba. Thank you Bubba for coming out. here. It was uh it was a really cool. moment. It was a very it was a very cool. moment. But what Jelly in a 36-hour band. did after that was just heat. Just.
[ __ ] Oh, yeah. That hour slot I I. would assume if you're a Jelly Roll with. the amount of songs that he has like an. hour of just like boom boom boom has to. feel so good for everybody cuz the. entire place is singing for an hour. straight with you. That is Yeah, it had. to be. It was I was lucky to be a part. of it. Very lucky to be pork chop. The. drummer did a stone cold. Blew a kiss to. the camera on the way out. Yeah. Cody. Cody's a dog. They call him pork chop. legend. Joe Hadley who was with us.
Haddlebags. Uh he'll clean your windows. if you call him. His number's on the. internet. He uh Joeley.com. Joe. He uh. not happy you did that. His hair looked. phenomenal. So good. He he came, you. know, he loves music. He's very uh in. loves Jelly Roll obviously. Loves uh. post. So asked me if he wanted to come. He comes and as we're watching Jelly. Roll, he he points at the drummer. He. goes, "Pork chop's so [ __ ] good.". Yeah. And I'm like, "Oh, you cuz I know. him because he's been incredibly cool to. me and I follow him on Instagram and he. gets a lot of love for a drummer. Gets a.
