Unplugged ft. Universe Boss Chris Gayle | RCB | Punjab Kings | Virat Kohli | IPL | Asia Cup 2025
Who gave that name? Universe boss. [Music]. >> Okay. What's bigger than the world? >> Universe. >> The universe. And who's bigger than the universe? No. one else. So it's the universe boss. >> It's the universe boss. >> What was Chris Gill's funniest cricket. moment? >> That manage stuff, you know, was funny. to Ian Morgan. You scored 175 of 66. balls. Now who do you think that has.
potential to surpass this record? >> Shman guilt can do that as well. >> When RCB won 2025 IPL uh how happy you. were and actually did you support RCB or. Punjab? >> But some people didn't take it nicely. You know, some people from the RCB side. weren't too happy about the turban side. as well. >> So many comments. >> You know what I'm saying? So, so I'm. like. >> they said you belong to us. >> But you know, like I said, yo, it's a. one and only universe. No, I'm just. happy a guy like a Virat lift the trophy. as well. >> How's your bond with like AB and uh. Virat? >> Oh, very good man. Those those legends,
phenomenal players. You had a great time. playing with these guys in the dressing. room. >> Do you believe he retired early? >> Well, the cricket will miss him 100%. >> Do you miss playing IPL? >> My my IPL ended premature. Absolutely. I. mean, I was disrespected in in in in the. franchise Punjabi. And then you've been. disrespected and they treat you like a. kid. And that's that's the first time in. my life I ever felt like a depression. mode. >> Was there any baller you were ever a. little scared of? >> Nah. Aan thing at the time. And. >> have you ever felt pity for any baller.
like I was smashing him enough? >> No mercy. >> Why do you think players like Nicolas. Puran retired from international cricket. so well? >> Where the board or ICC have to come in. and actually look after players from. international point of view. The cricket. miss him. >> Which 2020 league has been the most. memorable for you? >> The IPL. >> Should MSD play in 2026 IPL? He should. play as long as he want to. >> like if you have to give one IPL 11 of. yours. >> Sad Virat Kohi. >> Okay. Sur. bat at number six. >> No. Roh Sharma. Surya or AB Devilas. Your dream batting partner.
>> Favorite IPL opponent to smash? >> You know it used to be Kings 11 Punjab. and then and then I joined. But. >> have you learned a Hindi word? >> Chal and those little. >> No bad words. >> Oh yeah. I know all of them of course. >> Who's your favorite Indian player? I'm s. couple of days ago he lost weight. >> is more like Chris Gale. >> new generation. >> the batting energy style. >> oh man there's I haven't seen no Chris. Gers. [Music].
test. for. Universe Boss. Welcome to my podcast, Universe Boss. >> Thanks for having me, mate. How to be? I'm not too bad. Not too bad. Chilling. Chilling, which I always do. >> Enjoying WCL?
>> I am. Season two is fantastic. Uh more. competitive, more challenging. And you. know, all the teams are stronger as. well. So, it's very good. So, it's good. to have some some new faces for season. two. >> Someone told me that last year you were. emotional. >> Was I crying? I'm not sure. Maybe maybe. because of the weather. It was too cold. for me then. But no, no, it was really. good. Um it's good to be a part of. season 2 as as I mentioned before. because um you know like I said it's. more challenging new players coming to. to to season 2 as well. AB you know a.
lot of people want to see the likes of. AB. Uh we had Jack Kalis last year we. don't have him. So you know it's good to. see some guys crystling. So some new. guys who actually just retired pretty. much in WCL. So it's going to be. competitive. So I like. >> how does it feel to be in West Indies. jersey again? >> You know what I've always I will always. cherish that moment you know. Um, it. doesn't matter if I'm retired and I'm. representing a team, it's still West. Indies for me. It's still West Indies. for me and I still have that urge and. that passion for West Indies cricket. It.
doesn't matter what's happening, you. know, with them right now, but I still. got an urge for West Indies cricket. And, you know, I'm always passionate. about them. So, when West Indies lose, I. lose as well. You know, if West Indies. get bowled for 27, I'm part I'm part of. that, you know. So yeah, I'm I'm I'm I'm. always going to be, you know, that that. West Indian guy, you know, out there. Doesn't matter what. So we lose, when we. win, we win together. >> But you have changed your look now. Now. you look more young. >> I look more and more sophisticated and.
beautiful now. Yeah, absolutely. I'm. more unique, beautiful. I'm always going. to be ravishing. I'm always going to be. the universe boss. You know that I can't. help. You know, that's God's will. That's God blessing. So I'm very. thankful for that. Thanks to my mom. May. she rest in peace. And thanks to my dad. to produce such a lovely child like the. universe boss. >> Who gave that name? Universe boss. >> Okay. So the universe boss I actually. proclaimed that name you know I used to. call the world boss you know but. >> the world boss came about. You have. vibes cartel who's actually running in.
dancers of music. So he used to call. himself world boss. So in a different. arena from a sporting point of view he's. the world boss of music. So I'm the. world boss of cricket. So you people. used to say, "Yo, Chris Gill is the. world boss of cricket." So over the. years, you know, being so dominant on. the field and off the field, I'm like, "Hey, I've dominate the world now." W. some stuff, some things I've been doing. while playing, you know, no other. players were actually brave to do those. things like, you know, having a good.
time while still playing competitive. cricket and still performing and still. dominate the game as well. So I'm say, "Yo, listen to me, man. I need a new. challenge. What I'm going to call myself. now?" So I say, "Okay, what's bigger. than the world?". >> Universe. the universe and who's bigger. than the universe? No one else. So it's. the universe boss. >> Uh in 2011 you were unsold in IPL. initially. Then Dark Nas got injured. >> Yeah. >> And then actually unus. 2011. Orange cap 2012. >> Yeah. That was a phenomenal run and a.
phenomenal start to the new new. franchise RCB at the time 2011 when I. got that call. Um you know I was in a. nightclub in Jamaica because what. happened with the breakdown with West. Indies cricket you know I wasn't. selected for that home series against. Pakistan um coming off a world cup lost. and you know had a bit of injury as well. doing some rehab at the same time as. well and you know I was actually doing. the rehab communicating with westerners. but didn't get that call back and you. know I saw they select the the squad I. wasn't in it very disappointed anyway. long story short I was in the nightclub.
you know pretty much back but I wasn't. trained I wasn't playing no cricket at. all in the nightclub I got a call Who. was it on the line? It was no VJ Malia. and Anil Kumbli at the time. I'm like, okay, Chris, are you fit? I'm like, is. this for real? Yeah, I'm fit. Okay, if. you're fit, what we needed to do, we. needed to go to the embassy tomorrow and. you know, you get your visa, man. Like, hey, tomorrow's Saturday. The the. embassy doesn't open on a Saturday. I. said, you don't worry about that. Just. turn up. I said, okay, done. You know, turn up. Went to the embassy, got the.
visa the next day, pretty much on a. flight. And then you know history start. from there you know 20 2011. >> Do you remember how many runs you scored. that season? >> Well my first game I remember the runs I. think it was actually was it 713 runs I. think I remember that or 633. >> 68 runs in 2011 and 73. >> 68. Okay. Yeah. >> 733 in 2012. >> Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. And I remember. my first game you know actually rained. supposed to be a one game and I didn't. get a chance to play that game because. of the NOC whatever happened. And then.
we had KKR my whole team. >> Yeah. >> You know, so my first game was actually. against KKR, my my my my former team and. at Eden Garden. >> So you also fuch like in Bollywood we. say. >> Yeah, I know that. I know that word. Yeah. >> Movie. >> And eventually I scored a century in the. first game. I won all prizes, best. catch, best whatever, you know, those. those prize moment. I won all of that. Um in that game, man of the match, everything. And then you know things. just went on from there and they were.
actually at the bottom of the table and. when I joined the team and then. >> and you gave a strong message always. believe in Union's boss. >> strong m the the Lord was with me that. day because I tell you I wasn't even. practicing I tell him I was was partying. having fun just having fun and then just. went on scored a sentry and then you. know we had a phenomenal run start win. couple of games and Ray Jennings was. like oh Chris thank you so much man you. saved my job you know so we went to the. final we lost that um to China in the. final but it was a phenomenal on. phenomenal start to a new franchise RCB.
>> What was Chris Gil's funniest cricket. moment? That man kid versus England. walking towards Gre Smith in T20 World. Cup 2009 or fielding and raising a hand. >> I mean there's so many moments you know. that that manage stuff you know was. funny to Ian Morgan and he was like I. was I wasn't walking out you know you. thought you so that was one of the. funniest. >> Thank god he didn't face Ashwin. Ash, you just scap him and say, "Hey, you're. out. You got to go in." But it was good. fun. Um, so quite quite some funny.
moments. Um, yeah, that moment with. Graham Smith as well when he pulled away. when I was about to bowl and I was like, "Oh, I was going to bowl it at him." I. was like, "Ah." So, yeah. You know, >> so if you have to choose one. >> Oh, the the the man one. >> The man one. You won 2012 World Cup and. then 2014 World Cup. Uh, if I ask you. like which World Cup did you enjoyed the. most? Oh wow. I think the first one, you. know, the first one is always a hit. Um. based on how we we we we actually came.
about winning that um World Cup, we had. a bit of dis disreute with the with the. board and you know, we all the board and. we all, you know, came together, pulled. through cuz everybody wanted it and you. know, we didn't let that that that. distract us and then we went on to win. that. Then I that that's when I. introduced the the Gangnam style. No one. knew what that was. So I mean when that. semi-final against Australia when it. would be and I was like everybody's like. what is that? What is that Chris? Where. did where did that come from?
>> And everybody's okay listen me go on. YouTube there's a guy called Sai just go. and check it out. That's how the entire. Asia knew about Sai because I reckon I. gave him about 20 I reckon I gave that. guy a 20 to 30 million views because. after that that thing went that thing. went off like a rocket you know within. the World Cup and ask for royalty after. that. >> You know, s I need some royalty now. So, reach out to the universe boss team or. reach out to me personally. Yeah. I need. some I need some butter in my palm.
>> And even the celebration was uh. fantastic coming out and then dancing. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Even when the when we. when we won the. >> No, that was in Sri Lanka. Yeah. When we. did it, we did the Gangnam style. We did. that in the the India final as well when. we when we beat England. But. >> like I said, that's that's when the the. the Gangdom style kind of started and. kind of take off. >> How does it feel to be the first batsman. who scored century in all format? >> It's fantastic. I mean, as as a as a. player, of course, you want to to hold.
some records. Uh you want to be the. first to do certain things as well, but. um a lot of things was actually set. before me way back when, um players come. in and like I said, records were meant. to be broken as well. So that's. something you have to to bear in mind. But if you can be a part of history, you. know, that's always going to be. fantastic to be a part of history. That's phenomenal. And you know, we play. the game over so many over two decades. And you want to have a legacy where. people look back and say, "Yo, you know. what? Chris Gale have done that first.". And I and I will be happy, you know. So.
yeah, >> you scored 175 of 66 balls. Now, who do. you think that has potential to surpass. this record? >> Like I said, records was records meant. to be broken. Um, give few names. >> Wow. Listen me I think it will happen in. the IPL because these youngsters are. savage these days. Um you look at the. scoring rate as well how these guys um. scoring um Nicholas Puran I think um. even Shman Gil can do that as well. because he's a very very good player as. well and once you get going Jwell I like.
Jwell as well um this other guy from SR. Yeah so I mean like I said that. >> you saw that young guy from India 14. years old. Yeah, I saw that as well. Fantastic. So, like I said, like I said, 175 is in trouble. You know, it's just. when it's going to happen. >> What you were doing when you were 14, >> eh? >> What you were doing when you were 14? >> What? 14. >> Yeah, because he's a 14. >> I was I was in high school playing under. under 14 cricket. That's what I was doing. I was playing. under 14 cricket at the time. >> When RCB won 2025 IPL, uh, how happy you.
were? >> Uh, the final 2025. I mean, >> and actually, did you support RCB or. Punjab? because this confusion that. turbine was Punjabi. >> Well, you know what? I give you a little. story and that now you mentioned it. You. know that that final you know I got. invited by RCB to be honest with you and. you know like I said I'm so happy to. have both teams I'm in the final because. you know both teams have actually never. crossed the finishing line or lift the. trophy. So I'm like I'm happy. So I've. represent both teams. So I'm like wow I.
know I know RCB say Chris you're invited. of the final and I accept that and. everything. Got my RCB jersey. I'm like, "Oh man, I'm just going to feel weird in. in that in that stadium." So, I say, "Okay, what I'm going to do?" So, that's. when I came up with the idea and say, "Okay, I'm going to put on the turban. and and and you know, I'm going to. support." But, but some people didn't. take it nicely. You know, some people. from the RCBT um side weren't too happy. about the turban side as well. >> So, many comments, >> you know what I'm saying? So, so I'm. like, >> they said, "You belong to us.".
>> But, you know, like I said, yo, it's the. one and only Universe boss. I'm just. going to be me and you know whether you. accept it or not I'm just going to be me. and I went on I was like okay whoever. win you know I'll I'll congratulate them. but you know I'm happy for RCB to cross. that line after 18 years um and lucky to. Punjab as well you know I know they want. it just as bad as how RCB wanted it as. well. >> they were too good this year Punjab. >> you know you know I'm just happy a guy. like a Virat lift the trophy as well you. know because you know so much talks and. there and there you know we've been to. two couple finals together so I I was.
really overwhelmed to actually, you. know, be a part of that RCB team to to. lift the trophy and just as how I'm. happy, I'm sure AB was just excited as. for RCB as well. >> How's your bond with like AB and uh. Virat? >> Oh, very good, man. Those those legends, phenomenal players, um phenomenal people. as well, you know, very cool, very down. to earth as well. Good vibes, good. energy. I had a great time playing with. these guys in the dressing room. We had. some great memories. We share some great. memories. So you know well AB walk away.
from the game V walk away from. international cricket to an extent. Uh. still playing franchise cricket for for. RCB which is good. So and we need to see. him as long as possible. So if he can. carry on to play whatever want to play. franchise cricket for another 5 years. but he's a family man. That's up to him. >> Do you believe he retires early? >> Oh yeah very early. Very early. You know. for whatever reason I don't know but you. know the cricket will miss him 100%. You. know the cricket will miss him. He's a. massive he's a massive massive figure um. for the game of cricket.
>> Do you miss playing in IPL? >> Oh my my IPL ended premature you know. with with Punjab to be honest with you. >> I remember you even you posted something. you said something that universe boss. deserve more respect. >> Yeah I mean absolutely I mean I was. disrespected in in in in the franchise. Punjabi in the Punjabi Kings 11. you. know, I felt like I wasn't being treated. properly for a senior guy done so much. for the league, you know, um bring. brings so much value to the franchise as. well. And then you're being disrespected. and they treat it like a kid, you know, and then pretty much I'm just like I.
felt like the building was on my should. on my shoulder. That's that's the first. time in my life I ever felt like a. depression mode. So when people speak. about depression that's that's I can get. a little s I get a little sense of that. and it's like it wasn't it it wasn't for. me. So I know I know we talking about. it's our job working but at that stage. >> what happened. >> money money at that stage. nothing you don't need money right there.
your mental health is so important than. than money. >> as a fan we also felt broken like. >> I call Annel listen to me I had a. one-on-one discussion and say listen I'm. leaving because that at the same time as. well I had the world cup and we were in. a bubble so you couldn't come out so you. were like your mental space was just. going it was just really really puzzling. and destroying you. I was being I was. destroyed inside and I like after the. last game I played against Mumbai. I'm. like, "Yo, >> it doesn't make sense. I'm going to do. myself more more damage and rather than.
rather than be at peace." So, I called. him and have a one-on-one talk to him, you know, actually breakdown as well, you know, like literally a breakdown. when I was talking to him because I was. really hurt. Oh, yeah. I cried and I was. disappointed with um Anil and how the. how the entire thing was actually run. the franchise was actually run at that. time and I said listen me thank you K R. was the captain he called me and said yo. Chris you know you want to stay you want. you you'll play the next game and he was.
like I said listen to me man I wish you. guys all the very best I just pack my. bag and I and I walk out. >> what exactly happened. >> that's what happened tell you they. didn't I didn't want to play me. >> they had no discussions with you. >> were a great player you have won so many. matches. >> I was just like Say I'm a straight up. guy. There's too much on. Universe Boss. I'm tired of I. I don't like I like I'm a. straightup guy. >> True. >> I don't like to be around. >> Okay, let's keep this. Uh you smash. almost every bowler.
>> Yeah. >> Was there any baller you were ever a. little scared of? Uh he's little tough. >> Oh, listen me. I face some serious. bowlers, man. So obviously I will be. scared of bowlers, you know, especially. when you're just joining the team as. well. They're just representing. >> Can you name a few of them? Well, when it when I just started, you. see the likes of you heard well you been. hear you're hearing about these bowlers. like Wazim Mram Wackar Unice um white. lining Alan Sean Paul I'm telling you.
man and you have even Jack Kis was. bowling fast at that time as well. because as a youngster just playing. international cricket you have Glenn. McGrad and then you have the Ralph in. the express show back tire then the Brit. Lee then the Shane Bond then you have. Dale Stain come along you know I mean. tremendous wasn't that fast but he was. just nipping it around but you know like. I said those guys from a spinner point. of view you have Mullyan I didn't face. much of Shane War Sackling Mushak was a. was a proper well I should say not even.
say proper was a legend. >> you haven't named any Indian bowler. >> yeah I haven't named any Indian bowler. not yet najan sting at the time and I. was up against an Kliff without a doubt. Arjan Singh and Anil Kumbli. Um in both. formats we used to have that battle. against all of those spinners. Trinat. Zhan. >> you know. >> What about Arashwin? >> Ashwin did I play in test cricket? Not.
much. >> in IPL. IPL. >> Yeah, that was franchise cricket. I was. just speaking more on um on. international cricket cuz you know. talking about yeah I shouldn't get so. get the better of me um in in franchise. cricket quite a few times that's the. game you know we batt but I I guarantee. you. >> I can't they're scared of me I mean they. get me out but they miss they win the. battle but listening they only take one. ball but they they they fear me man I. don't fear them. >> everyone that's why you're a unus. pity for any baller like I've smashed.
him enough. >> you know coming to the back end of my. career. I actually. it kind of I swear I felt that way. I. think that kind of take away a little. bit of my my my sting because before I. was like yo no mercy and it just you can. see the fear on bowlers. >> I remember one such match. >> in 2011 where smashed 37 run Kochi. Tuskersh. >> 37 runs in one. >> Yeah. I mean I mean even before games no.
I mean they can they can speak for. themselves but even before games you. know bowlers like yo you know take it. easy take it easy Chris take it easy you. know I mean those things I'm like. I get too soft on them I get too soft. and you know to get too much sympathy. for them as well but yeah I mean yeah. I'm just cool and calm but. >> in 2016 you scored 76 of 38 balls final. IPL final but you guys lost that match. were you sad about that loss? Oh yeah, I. was gutted. You know, I thought we. should have actually won that game. You.
know, based on the start, um we. actually, you know, give the team myself. and ver. But like I said, cricket can. just change so quickly. You know, one. minute you're on top going going and you. just need a little two quick wickets to. actually change a game and you lose key. players and then automatically the the. team will come back into to to it as. well. The opponent will come back into. the game. So, it's a final and a final. is never over until it's over. So, yeah. Yeah, I mean I was gutted but such is. life. There's nothing else I can do. >> West Indies cricket has so many big.
names but often I feel that why they're. struggling. I mean they have so big. names. We all love them. We enjoy West. Indies cricket but still in last few. years they're struggling with. >> don't worry everybody will struggle but. um not so everybody but most of the the. countries will struggle uh if they don't. have the infrastructure right. So we we. we don't we didn't have that we didn't. look after players properly. um they. allow some players to leave too early as. well and you you got to bear in mind the. franchise cricket actually come into. play as well kind of take away a bit of. sting from the international side of.
things so we going to struggle you know. infrastructure if you look at it the. India is going to be good um England. infrastructure is good Australia. infrastructure is good so you got to. look at the development the grassroot of. the cricket you know where to start. where all is going to always going to. start from and. >> is it because of shift towards the leaks. >> in the Caribbean we don't have no. infrastructure there's no infrastructure. there's nothing you know we we we don't. have. Nothing nothing nothing new. >> Are there still issues with cricket. board? >> There's always going to be issues man. but you know that's like I said that's. like um drinking a glass of water.
>> Why do you think players like Nicolas. Puran retired from international cricket. so early they can sub. hopefully he will come back. I think. that was a a bit of hero but whatever. reason he choose to to retire at age 29. Um such a talent um that guy is is a. phenomenal player. Um he's a he's a he. would he would have actually become a. great leader as well. >> True. >> So you know it's just sad to see him. walk away from international cricket and. he could have actually go on you know. build his brand even a bit more um from. an international point of view as well.
And like I said the whatever reason he. he knows why he did it but at the same. time the cricket miss him and you know. we we we'd love to have him more so in. western cricket as well you know score. more centuries international wise and. you know like I said that's just that's. build his brand. >> Do you think players like Puran or class. from South Africa made the right choice? Well, I can't speak for class or puran. to be honest with you. But um those. guys, especially from South Africa, the. the international side of things, you.
know, if it's going to boil down to a. money situation as well, that's where. the the board or ICC's have to come in. and actually look after players from an. international point of view and make. sure you know everybody's paid well. because to play a 5day test match is not. easy at all and that should be a lot of. money to play a 5day play a test match. And when it comes on to ICC revenue, it's like millions or billions coming in. from a cricketing revenue point of view. So you got to pay the players. You have.
to give them more money. >> Okay. Some fans question. You have. played almost every league. Which 2020. league has been the most memorable for. you if you have to mention two? >> Well, I'm going to say I'm going to. mention two. Um it's the IPL and CPL. CPL the Jamaica Talawas. I used to play. for them. you know, play for them the. first time actually actually win the. title as well, being the first to. actually lift the cup in the CPL. So, that was something fantastic. We didn't. I didn't get a trophy with um RCB, but I. had a phenomenal run with them. Um some. great times, met some great people. Um.
so, yeah, it was just fantastic. >> Now, these days people talk about. workload management. You have played 100. plus test, 300 ODI and lot of T20. league. I mean, how you managed at that. time? >> I mean, I'm a fit guy. What do you. think? You know what I'm saying? I'm a. fit guy. Also, also most of y'all don't. don't never see the train the training. side of Chris Gale, you know. But, um, >> you have seen the dancing and partying. side of Chris. >> Exactly. Everybody see the fun side. I. mean, pretty much in the back end, but. I'm I'm a hard worker. I work very hard. I've done a lot of running. I've done a.
lot of gym session. Even back in the. days, I didn't even have gym those days. I used to more physical work, physical. work. And at that time, I had a heart. condition as well. So the more you the. more you train remember of somebody said. once you keep your legs light you'll. actually succeed. So as a opening. batsman as well that was fantastic. >> I actually saw Chris Gil diving last day. West Indies versus England match. >> it's just the instinct you know what I'm. saying just natural. It's just the. natural reaction um of any cricketer as. much as you say oh I'm not going to dive.
but just the instinct sometime just take. you take you take the body just take you. just try to stop it eventually but like. oh wow what have I done? So if you could. live one inning from your international. career, which would it be and why? >> If I could live so many Jesus, man. Would I would I want to score another. triple sentry? >> Triple 100, 100. >> I mean, I mean the the triple sentry 33s. >> that that in in against Sri Lanka at. Gaul. >> So yeah, I would have loved to do that.
again. Maybe I I would know how to get. to um. >> 400. >> 400. Yeah. >> You have eye on coins. It's not It's not. an easy It's not an easy task. Trust me. >> Should MSD play in 2026 IPL? >> He's 44. >> Oh, why not? Like I said, like I said, he should play as long as he want to. You he he he earned that. >> He earned that right to play as long as. he want to and he earned the right to. walk away, >> you know, when he wants to as well. >> Yeah, absolutely.
>> Okay. Now, again, some teammates. question and and I want honest answers. Uh loudest person in your dressing room. H bravo. >> Okay. Uh a teammate who has worst music. taste. >> Who have worst music taste? Oh, [Music]. I don't even know what these guys listen. to. So, I don't even know who I can call. upon who have worst music taste. I mean, I like all type of music anyway. Surya or AB Devilas? >> Um AB. >> Sachin Tendulkar or Vat Kohli. Oh, this. one is going to be interesting. >> I'm going to go Sachin. >> Okay. Jack Callis or Hardik Pandya? >> Jack Kales. >> Shahin Fredio or Jaspid Dumra.
>> Uh Bumra. >> Dstein or Jaspid Dumra? >> Oh, Dain. >> Okay. Destin or Lass Malinga? >> Uh Din. >> Okay. Kevin Pollard or Brendan Malam. >> Oh, >> cool. Wow. I'm going to give it to. Malam. >> Okay. Uh we say pani bash it's. like you pick small balls and have it. >> No I didn't try I haven't tried that. >> You should next time you come. >> Okay I'll think about it. >> I will tell Malika to arrange gulap for. you if possible in England. >> Okay I'll think about it. >> I'll try I'll think about it. >> Okay. Have you learned a Hindi word from. RC? >> That's a simple words. That's the pani.
um chalo gal chalo and those little. little you know little words. But the. bad words I know them all. >> No bad words. Oh yeah, I know all of. them. Of course, >> we will be. >> So anybody's from India talking bad. about I know. you. >> Okay. Diwali or Holi? Which festival did. you like more? >> Which one is it? Diwali is a light upon. or. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Hol is a paint upon. >> So I go Diwali. >> Okay. Which format did you enjoy the. most? Test ODI T20.
>> Actually test cricket. >> Interesting. >> Yeah, I know. Do you believe young. players like they're not very focused. towards test cricket? >> The test is a life-changing moment. Test. cricket is a life-changing moment. It. help you to grow off the field mentally. 100%. >> Okay, great. Uh what's your favorite. moment with Vat Kouli? H. >> I guess a little handshake the Greek. shake. Bang bang. I mean apart from on.
the field but yeah I mean good dance. some dance moves. So we have some great. dance moves together. Yeah. >> Good. Good fun. >> What cricket has taught you? >> What's that? >> What cricket has taught you in life? >> What cricket. >> live your life journey? What life what. life lesson you have learned from. cricket. >> I mean cricket is cricket is my life to. be honest with you. I've done a lot for. me. Um you know it taught me a lot you. know how to be mentally strong as well. I mean I grew up strong mentally. um from nothing to something. So you.
know the cricket was my my getaway. um my livelihood as well. So I will. always you know give back to the sport. and respect the sport always. >> Okay. If you need 17 runs in one over. name three batsman that you will trust. >> Um. >> you can't be the one. >> 17. >> 17 runs. >> Um FA Dhoni. and. I'm not invalid, right? >> Yeah, of course. I'm not involved. Okay. Cuz I if it was even two balls, I would.
get 17 runs still. Don't ask me how, but. yeah. Would I get 17 runs after. >> 37 and six? >> Yeah. So, Poloni. and. AB. That's those three. >> Yeah. Okay. And if you have to defend 10. runs in an over, name three ballers. >> to defend 10 runs in over. >> Yeah. Um, I put Malinga Bumra. and.
you know I I I'm going to give it to. him. I'll give it to Bravo as well. >> It's a great pair. >> Yeah. >> Bravo Pol your favorite? >> H both my favorite. >> And if you have to choose one, >> I mean I'm more rapo with Bravo cuz you. know I see more with the music side and. things. So yeah, Bravo. >> Okay. The last segment. Uh I I will. mention something and you have to name. one player. Golden Arm. >> What? >> Golden Arm. >> Golden Arm.
>> Who's the golden arm? Like. >> from franchise cricket, international. cricket. Anyone? >> Yeah. Golden Arm. I mean Boomer is a. golden arm. >> Interesting. >> And he's now he's a golden arm cuz when. they whenever they they need him, he. stepped up. >> Yeah. But. >> and we Indian fans feel bad for you. I. mean, we apologize. >> Do they care what I say? Maybe not. But. that is life. I don't worry about that. still. But you know, I just express. myself, say what I got to say, and life. goes on. >> Okay. Uh, best fielder.
>> Best fielder. Wow. Some great feelers out there. You. talking like modern time or no? >> That's some great feelers, man. You're. not talking about John Rose days. >> Not. Uh best fielder I would say right now. >> Okay, let's go for the current players. Let's focus on current players. >> Me polard is very good in the field. >> Current international players. >> Oh, international. Oh wow. I don't watch. I don't watch cricket you know. But. >> okay, then mention any. >> um I was thinking into international. right now. I mean. >> Steve Smith is a good feeler. >> We have um. I mean those some guys I'm trying to to. think who's a good fielder now. Ah these.
youngsters are sharp. Oh wow. Help me out. Give me some names. >> Rafenda. >> Jadea. Yeah. >> Might be Labushin. Jadu, Jado, Jado, Jado. Yeah, Jad. Jadu is probably the. number one. >> Who's your favorite Indian player? >> Um, Safris Khan. Safran. >> Saffras Khan. >> Yeah. >> Why so? I mean, that's an interesting. name. >> I mean, he should be in the test. >> site. >> They should be in the test squad at. least, you know. Um, scored a sentry.
against England and home style, not in. the squad. Saffers can see I saw a post. couple of days ago. He lost weight. I. mean. >> more than 10 kg. >> The weight wasn't even nothing was wrong. with his weight or anything. He's just. fine. He was still scoring runs. The man. scoring triple scored triple centuries. in in in first class cricket. So if. they're using that against him that's. that's sad you know. So that's that they. should never use that against him. But. that youngster should have been a part. of the squad 100%. >> Dear Indian selectors please listen.
>> 100%. I mean India have so much talent man but. give the give give give the man a run. So if you have to mention like few next. big superstars from India. >> so many you seen IPL bring out so many. so many superstars coming up man. everybody's a star now in India every. every youngster is a star I mean some of. them get the star status too early but. it's just life you know we have to adapt. to the resembles more like Chris Gale. >> new generation. >> the batting energy style. >> ah man there's haven't seen no Chris. Gale as yet no there's no Chris Gale not.
yet maybe when I get a son. >> and when we getting that good Uh, I'll. tell you, let me check my palm pilot. very soon, mate. It's coming. 2026. >> Okay. Why don't we see fast ballers like. Michael Holding or Kium Rose anymore in. Western? >> Because they're not eating the Jamaican. food. and the Yeah. the good old yam and the. dumpling and the banana and. I mean, check the height level. You.
don't most fast bowlers are short these. days. Occasionally see few tall fast. bowlers these days but they're very. skinny now. You know we're not seeing. the length. Probably every country need. to stretch a particular player for a. period of time to get them tall to bowl. extra tall fast and to get that bounce. >> Okay. Second last question. Mention. three scariest T20 batsman. Most. destructive batsman. >> Sky Surya Kumar. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Is is dangerous. >> Um Nicholas Puran.

T20. >> three scariest bowler Silan Bumra. and. who is there again. who else Maybe Rashid can.
>> any message for Indian fans because they. love you like hell. >> Yeah, we might as well start the what do. they call it? Is it the the petition? What when you want somebody to come back. or to stay the petition my Indian fans. for universe boss to be back in the IPL. send it around. Yeah. And make sure we. get a lot of signs and yeah. that's it. And I'll be back but. eventually I'll be back anyway still. But yeah, >> thank you so much. Thank you so much. man.
