He makes 4500CR+ per year!| Unknown Side of Indian Medical Industry| Raw Talks Medical Podcast -41
that is the biggest producer of fake. drugs in the. world and the most. point. medic First Medical podcast in with with. Mr mad founder CEO. of is the biggest. disruptor.
and he's the best person to talk with. 4,500 plus medical stores with over. 10,000 cores of market cap and one of. the top players in the medical industry. I'm sure this will be another. Masterpiece by yam 30% of all fake drugs. in the world are Made in India. W. TOs.
local. [Music]. okay medic 50 to 80% at least because. first.
it's a. indry Target definitely drop with hello. sir hi first of all thank you very much. uh first of. all sure. sure I know being a finance like listed.
companies but. still how big is the turnover. of. um last year. 45 right and this year we're on target. to basically hit maybe a 20 22% kind of. growth uh so anyway the numbers are. there first half they already first yeah. so yeah not a big thing connected. question.
[Music]. as. entrepreneur all. my is tied up in the shares of the. company only right I own 40% of the. company as of now there's a debt against. it whatever is there I you know you. could say I've reinvested into the. company wow but it's it's a very very.
small salary actually right. right shocking question because I can. actually connect few. [Applause]. dots absolutely no problem so first. plot.
point to four. months so he was talking to me. about I was shocked when I got to know. that generic medicine normal viral. in fever cold. cough because of the immunity boost.
almost big capitalists in the world are. actually cooking up this. virus.
how did you see. that but the point here is. like so if we can actually talk about. that segment a bit sure sure. sure almost. two.
headache in they'll buy something for. their immediate needs there are people. who buy for their chronic. elements diabetes thyroid. dis anything for they require medine. through their. life there is no real cure you can only. make sure that you controlling it. maintaining.
it simly. thely conditions are more conducive for. infections all sorts of fevers and all.
of. local obviously climate. condition so I'm pretty sure you know. maybe it's a little bit of an. exaggeration. but right% you know while you know we. don't know exactly um 100% about. everything out there but there's enough. data to show that when you take some of. those you know vitamins and Immunity.
boosters and all there is some benefit. to. you. second of course. it's did. you.
is it is it. true you know we are. there there because we feel. that we can talk about. it when I first read somewhere that 30%.
of all fake drugs in the world are Made. in India report so. obviously. fake we should not sell or get involved. in that but okay it really doesn't harm. anyone's. health so then we start thinking about. it and said genuine medic.
with a fashion to actually get this. thing done properly and to. overall industry extremely. inefficient. inefficiency. SC not because a very big industry and. we can make a ton of. money right right it's a l industry. overall.
right don't. okay I don't believe it could be that's. I just want tood this things abely and. like again I'll just close this one. question industry leaders big capitalist. around the. world.
obviously I don't want it's very. difficult to say. 100% there's some this thing out there. controversy out there okay um all data. at least currently is pointing to. something happening in. China it originated right the fact of. the matter was that Co did take a huge. tall on everyone.
with respiratory arrest and all sorts of. you know failures and all so what. however it originated it didn't matter. it doesn't matter it really resulted in. a lot of hardship for everyone doubt uh. I personally don't believe that some big. industrialist sat there and did. it just an accident right uh it happened. uh those who Moved fast and were able to. get the cures they made some decent.
money they made a lot of money you know. for instance all the all the vaccine. makers across the world. um really. Sim necessity is the mother of all. invention so this was needed at that. time right sir they really you know did.
a lot of good work to get a vaccine out. in such short time and you know give it. to people now again there are people who. say that vaccines worked or did not work. I took it I think it worked for me uh so. I I expect it did otherwise it wouldn't. have gone away so fast that's my thought. but yeah you know there's always you. know no one can be 100% sure right right. and multiple. levels Jo we ended up spending around 60. lakhs for the.
treat I don't think anyone sat down and. said is very. easy actually planning for a different. level of. research educ students mentalities.
okay we'll go with two ways. patient. mainly I'll not name them as smallers. indidual I was expecting some kind of. negativity about or whatever. honestly so I was I was. expecting.
surprising. because disrupting the. industry I started with that question. only we definitely don't feel that that. kind of industry that kind of a company.
will follow such. measures I wanted aity. from so I thought I'll deod that only. from. you how was that 50% discount to 80%. discount on every medicine or uh to a. certain level of medicines uh number of. Med if I'm not.
wrong to%. because. issues up 450%. okay but. to% it's pretty well. normal so how was it possible if we can.
actually decode this segment because. I've seen multiple claims that first. ever in the industry to actually give. 10% of. discount whatever it. is% 50 to 80% is very very big shot so. if you can decode that sure absolutely. abely so um so couple things questions I. want to answer the first one. also there is zero chance so what is.
that I don't even know but I'm. assuming right right every single thing. is going through the computer and. everything is checked 100 times it's not. easy to actually uh and everything you. know is there's full paper trail on. every single.
thing only. direct we will have roughly around 20%. of hyderabad's Market roughly right. which basically. means while Target definitely drop with. they will not meet their target for sure. right so which basically means. they are there behind us to make sure.
that we buy right and we buy directly. from the company we don't buy from any. intermedi company knows exactly what we. buy and they know exactly what we sell. they are able to go and see. Dr will take the product and they will. say they take all the details and it so. uh since we are a large company we get. checked very often and very thoroughly. um continuously so so none of those.
things are possible but there is a. possibility that someone could do. it where you know fake drugs are being. CAU they caught they caught here they. caught there so all types of. stories before we go to the 50 to0 I'll. just give you a little bit of the. industry. context distrib.
right we make around 5% right that's all. so it is not really possible. so.
I don't know right maybe they are. selling at loss possible or they're. selling at no no profit no loss we don't. know but the thing is if there's a. possibility you know something like that. could be happening somewhere. so now 50 to 80 how is it possible so. let me. explain. medic.
right go and get and we'll figure out. what it is so despite having half medic. every day find new things are. asked right.
second. 88. right so. hardly 800 different. formulations 800.
we can sell.
so we have the capability right. now large contract drug manufacturing. organ okay we bought it and we started. selling unlike normala. companies.
right got it. so it is based in actual math there is. no.
he and when they are eliminating the. middleman definitely there's a huge. possibility I know.
when I understood. when this might be possible but again. when you were taking this kind of a. [Music]. move when they take it hard to. their you expect any kind of this kind. of I think is getting it.
50 I don't think we have seen too much. oppositions. acity right so. quity aspect right and.
let's. say right uh you want to make a high. quality jeans with your own name right. right so where will you go.
so you go to the guy who's. making you can be sure that you will get. the same. quality more. important. [Music].
is impossible right it's going so it is. very important to go to the right. manufacturing facility. right 8. drug same drug is being manufactured for. 100 different guys all the top 20 guys. are manufacturing it. right. right uh. quity we go to the guy who's doing the.
best got it and the best Manufacturing. in the country country. contur to probably get more than 7% of. our. bus they all go to the top guys top four. or five guys in the country we do same. people are making drugs.
for under our supervision we get it made. got it got it and so we are guaranteeing. the quality there not just. that so we are 100% sure that this is. like as good if not better than the. other brands awesome Market by. manufactured. byet manufactured by.
will. show so they'll show you five or 10. examples which will convince you got it. go announcement announcement.
announcement we thought we're going to. start a fund own. fund investment.
that is what I'm announcing right. now. ra very soon possibly one weeks we'll. give a proper. announcement and uh thank you very much. all the best for us subscribe subscribe.
subscribe present 7 St fully functioning. and sure sure.
right they came. [Applause]. andos.
local we used. toily for. us. veryy.
better to they started. to move from to B to. supply local. associ.
local. distribut we can get the GST. input so for us so Most states it is now. okay onl discounts have become a way of. life people understand Amazon.
fli. consumers and so people know that even. shopkeepers and all also know that. [Music]. so. but it is.
enough okay chain concept which is there. to. stay and so this became I would say a. way of retailing right. right. normal when they look at a big players.
in the market B it's like top top to. when they can actually see thousands of. crores there in the market cap and in. their revenue turnover whatever it. is okay these people can actually rule. the government or change the. policies uh me definitely you might be. the most ethical but my question is is. it really possible for a bigint or at.
least a group. of not pertaining to the medical. industry any. anywhere. see obviously we can't give a general. answer there's no right answer or wrong. answer out there policy is made by. politicians and all K it is written by. bureaucrats bureaucrats are also people. uh like everyone else they can also be. influenced not maybe some people get. influ some people not so we can't say.
that everything. is lot of things M which lay people. don't. understand are not necessarily because. someone is making money it is because. someone that that law is passed in the. greater interest of everyone. right most of them are not necessarily. that. you can't say it is not always there.
yeah there's always some there is a. reason for me to ask this question again. yeah this is not common to India this is. not let's say unique to India or. anything else across the. world even us you know very very clean. kind of government real estate there is. always some room for someone influencing. in fact us there's a established. industry called lobbying right there are. lobbies which go in Washington and which. get lawmakers to change the rules.
according to the needs of the. industry there's nothing anyone can do. and you know you can only hope that it. is all done in the greater good of. everyone right right the other day was. actually after podcast aftercast with. his knowledge he was. mentioning okay see let's see the other. way. around it doesn't mean.
thatp ask you only that that. question. so whenever we go to a. doctor at least 60% of the time.
someone has has to make me. understand.
in. fact so different. different. possible so how is this marketing of. medical industry. happens. make.
understand unless unless until I. understand what is the value of the. discount or whatever the brand. difference so different different levels. of marke so how do you see this. marketing. as so medicines marketing usually. 9 right there very few drugs which are. new so two types.
right then you go really educate the. doctors it cures this disease this is. new. right after people learn about. it then they start prescribing it and. then it becomes a regular.
Dr years usually 17 years so. time anyone can make the right it will. be open forone it will be open for. anyone manufacturing facility you can. file for it you can show that it is also. working the same. way then they will start selling. it.
the. right so then they will try to make it. available in the shop which is ring. store. so they will go and Market to doctors. they will tell. [Applause]. them there's no this thing right. when you're going and buying if that.
drug is available only in that. shop then you to think maybe someone is. making it specially and selling it out. there maybe that the correct. manufact cany but otherwise most of the. times lot of drugs will be available.
the so is not. possible you believe the guy you can buy. it there's no. problem.
more. right is it from a good brand or not if. it is from a good brand you can buy it. got. it because being in this industry with. such an ethical practice and uh. I believe in.
that I want to. be. ask literally yesterday this happened uh. I was talking to my teammates and uh. what you call misconception wrong things. happening in the.
market they act as a what factual. information one of the major point was. about me SP and me this is for menstrual. pain actually Indian pharmaceutical. composition commission sorry they have. asked us to actually not to use it. advised us to not to use it but still. Market available.
she took. one that means she has taken. that how should a person be on a safer. side but still for us to if you can. educate us sure sure so two types.
right drug overall. approve bought it then only is. avilable based on new. information may say this drug should not. no longer be used and while they may. pass the rule right pass. order immediately we uh get it taken.
care of right. Sy we pull the drug back and we show it. to the. Dr. will 35 lakh tablets across 4,000 shops. or 3 lakh taets across 4,000 shops.
because you have a strong interal system. right and and they also enforce it and. it is good good for everyone same way. price okay. we immediately do that.
immediately on day one we'll send out. the. thing they asked us to change the thing. okay. [Music]. right right. so fully Network Le shops fully.
connected Le there's a possibility that. something may be left got it so yeah. coming to Someone Like Us you'll always. be safe. 100% I'll get a proper prescription if. I'm trusting the doctor I'll definitely. go with.
so what. you if it is an option yes definitely. but apart from that what should a person. do from his home before going to medic. shop unless it is a very small mild. fever. right that is okay.
right non. addictive. atast.
pharmacist they are not doctors out. there. right again at the same time I'm not. saying. that don't have to run to a doctor basic. if%. 100% drugs the counter drugs directly. customer.
but anything beyond that specially. antibiotics that whatever bacteria is. there it will not die fully right it'll. in fact get resistance to this right so.
next that is actually harmful for. everyone because that same. germs having to go to very very high. level antibiotics out there because. everything is now basically gotten. resistance right so antibiotics M 100%. you should not take uh without going to. a doctor that that would be my advice. got it.
and the other day I was talking to. someone he's also a doctor he told he. told he not. practicing he just learning things he. was mentioning. that.
taking it very seriously antibiotics. definitely uh you know as a consumer you. should not normally sir if I ask you. what are the next. up to.
five most happening. indries what will be that five different. industries that might and not. necessarily be into this medical. industry whatever it. is so um I mean overall computing power. it is going to benefit all Industries. right right uh obviously medical. industry the invention of drugs will. become faster m. medicine will also become more. personalized they will figure out you.
know what kind of body requires what. kind of drug they can customize it so. they'll continue to do. that then I'm pretty sure you know. things will go in the whole genetic side. also that they will be able to correct. slight disorders in genetic this thing. makeup and cure a lot of disas Biotech B. Medical things will be there right um. then again you know even in the. biomedical side also. I'm pretty sure get devices which are. able to figure out what disease you have.
with minimal invation with easy easy to. find out and all there inventions coming. in. everything through without even pricking. you people are able to find out what uh. you know whether you have blood sugar or. not or what's your blood sugar type of. thing there's a lot of other things. which are coming in so that's on one. side on the medical side right. um then on on software side I would say. AI is definitely going to change. everything out there that there should. be zero doubt at all about it right um.
going forward you know a lot of the. lower level jobs may become tougher and. tougher to get because computers may do. most of the jobs almost everything. computers will end up doing out there so. if they are doing those jobs then people. will have to evolve and actually become. much more sophisticated and much more. knowledgeable so only a certain type of. job which is above that level will. actually survive so a lot of those lower. level jobs may go that is for sure. uh software side then Hardware plus.
robotic side again there are things. happening on the robotic side also there. several things which are happening see. again computing. power today a lot of power is there in. your cell phone. itself cell phone is a very complex kind. of thing and it is very cheap right. so. so people are able to make a lot of. things automated h.
Factory and all this will take away jobs. as we go forward and it is becom cheaper. and cheaper out there for us to. produce there are know robots which cook. and clean and do this and that and all. those are all reality those are all. happening right now and it will not be. long before it starts happening in. India completely automated oh okay where. all the medicines are stacked. [Music].
in storage boxes. right. M that robot out there scans this m and. it pick the.
appropiate actually to fully AO I would. say top 5,000 3,500 drugs are picked by. my Automated machine uh but now we. looking to expand it to my entire list. of 30,000 medicines ch. so anyway so these are all again public. information it's all available out there.
um. SOI a small um you know a non-tech kind. of company like us if it is able to do. all that right you can well imagine what. really automated companies will be out. to do and what kind of disruption there. is going to be out there in the job. market as we go forward so actually what. we do you know is we have a 200 member. software team and the entire software. for the entire compan is built by us. right from the point of S.
software online. webs inp we just replacing it we used to. have Erp for a small this thing. Microsoft that we are also replacing. right now with our own software so uh. technology now is becoming you know all. pervasive right and it is getting I. would say easy for people to actually. get stuff done on their own and put it. out there uh this will become even more. easier as we go forward it get used. everywhere so from medicine to AI which.
is basically doing all sorts of uh. robotic tasks and plus actual robots. which will do everything in your home. hospitals maybe even build buildings. everything awesome so I would say these. three yeah right I was actually going. through some article where same parasite. Mall. Paras. so around 0. 1%. 01.
and subject to. correction. ofing. so how does it actually work do we file. it how does this process actually go. there are two types of drugs drugs which.
are under the uh dpco category DRS under. price control okay. right uh government said okay they look. at the cost of manufacturing they look. at the cost of packing everything else. and all they give some profit to the. manufacturer some to the retailer. distributor. price most commonly. used is already there so they set it.
they put some list which are they call. them essential drugs anyway. so all done by market so Market will. determine what are the right price at. which they can sell what is their cost. to manufacture right what is their cost. to actually Market the product what is. the cost to distribute it. what.
based on quality and everything else. right based on their brand why should it. be any. different it is up to us as customers. what we want to buy so that is. completely up to us grandfather.
plays everywhere no no absolutely. absolutely so then that is dependent on. the doctor out there doctor someone has. marketed him and told him this a good. drug he has written it down. so next time when he goes to the doctor. maybe they'll see his blood levels again. and say. okay right so yeah that that is normal. so. I would say two things right patented. type drugs patented.
drug then they successfully Mar they. awarded a. patent whatever the market takes right.
[Music]. them if it is not P it is gener gener. again.
okay right. so it is brand he writing a brand right. so. definitely. so he when he writes it the. margin ret Marg only 20.
okay. right as long as it is good quality you. should take. it right you'll make whatever out there. now. second the other thing is trade gener.
right where. company getting marketed they don't know. the Dr also so. theist will sell. it% it is. TR 50 to. 60% they make enough money so usually TR.
so there the chemist himself is making. the. m. right TR which is Market directly where. the margins.
are you can expect higher margin you can. [Music]. say directly marketed to you you give me. 50% or give me what the doctor wrote no. problem right give me what the doctor. wrot that is 20 that's fine otherwise. give me. 50 so. trly and they could be selling to all.
the chemist across the. country. we there is no. else okay give it to me or I'm with. taking. your you get.
15% any. patented trademark or IP based. protected. property.
person can actually the person who's. holding the protected right can actually. fight it's going to do the job right. right so you cannot copy that a specific. product definitely copy so you usually. while I mean any particular truck if. they you know put it out there.
in usually. comp lar populated and huge contributor. in the pharmaceutical. indry if you have any thought proc on. that if you can. share maybe next okay.
and maybe because they have more. scientists out there more. research inventing the DRS out there. because they have no other. option if you manufacture it and sell it. back as a contractor you can still make. decent money right definitely not to. level of what they are making out there. you know again I.
said they've gone up to 450 500. bilon right and that kind of. Market that's the that's the benefit of. you know going out there you. [Music]. know you know there's no guarantee that. you'll get it right got it I would say. you know. up maybe people have taken the easy way.
out that just manufacturing it but going. forward I'm sure you know they're also. going to go into Discovery and all that. sort of stuff hopefully. Yeah question how how was it possible. present scenario compare. at least 15.
years absolutely uh somewhere you. mentioned about uh I'll not take the. names now uh multiple investment uh uh. what do you call banking. agenes you bought back the stock first. of all three four. rounds inv. something because. already so I'll not leave that founder. and the maybe product of the business.
how is it possible. uh how could he buy back the stock into. the. company sorry to say. this seat.
how was that. actually right if you keep doing it you. know you'll have a lot of problems once. in a while you'll get that so there's. one such. chance K investment fund hedge fund. they're based out of Hong Kong and yor I. didn't know whether to name or not. that's okay there's it's public. information so w they had invested in.
2011 but 2017 fund it is not doing very. well okay it's a multibillion dollar. fund based of Hong Kong and they had put. in a small amount of money into our. company around $50 million in. so. 2017 they were doing badly and they. wanted to exit. okay.
okay they were the major. [Applause]. fund they were out of their investment. usually they to return their money to. them this thing so they wanted to sell. okay okay. so they went and approached the market. trying to sell their shares and they.
could not find any buyer out there with. any. great they were not very sure so overall. timing was not great. okay I thought was very very low and so. what I did. was you know I went and borrowed money. from Goldman Sachs right and double this. then I bought back all the shares that.
is just a piece of L I mean it is mind. if ask what was the value of that. buyback. uh I don't think it's a good idea to. talk about it so obviously it was a good. price for yeah decent price. for theard so bought back 70% of the. company that's what sir.
89% yeah. and first investment first you started. the business with if I'm not wrong 0.5 I. mean half. million around 1.5. million again I'm not sure to ask or not. but what was the. valuation. end justed to get the.
started a l of it doesn't. Mattery and it is risky so the you have. to reward the invested Sun so half a. million came from uh some came from me. and rest from friends and family one and. a half also came from friends and family. only uh slightly extended group of. friends and family got. it four mons thaty second round second.
round. and what you call. investment and definitely it's it's. becoming into a I mean it's turning to a. he start process if at all if I can ask. you like uh what was the best advice. that you've got in terms of e valuations.
inv or throughout your journey the best. advice that you have got see it is. always important right to choose the. right type of. right then people get very very you know. um you know so you have to have very. mature and long-term kind of investors. with. you um I would.
say and and it is a good investment for. some especially. and. not very.
knowledgeable problem especially if you. take it from friends and family and all. if you lose the money then it'll come on. to. you you should go to a very very. knowledgeable and a mature investor who. understands the. risk so you have to be very careful. about who you choose as an investor. right so two or three things right one.
obviously then that's also a problem. you're not going to a lay investor or. first time investor those who can't. afford the loss you can't take the money. from people who can't afford the loss. right that's one and second. then connection and he has you know good. support and he's on. the it should add value to you in two. ways. one he should be able to guide.
you second because of their let's say. their own connections they're able to. open a lot of doors. suddenly they able to get you to the. right guys who have already worked and. hopefully get you a good price also. you're able to do that and third if you.
take a good guy he's also validating. your company by saying that I'm. investing in your company if I a. well-known guy you automatically get the. benefit of my brand also course so. someone else you can say Okay XYZ. invested in my company and someone else. Also may come and look at it existence. matters definitely the brand also works. right for future Investments also so all. these are important yeah you have to. look at it valuation important taking it. from any sometimes is not a great idea. right very true an organization like met.
plus which has around 4,000 plus stores. and more than 20,000 employees on the. payroll or in house yeah uh working from. different different localities again. inter the. organizations example the one you have. done I would call it as a disruption. what you changing the complete purchase. pattern of a. person what happens the question. and being a leader of the organization. being the managing director CEO and the. founder of the.
organization what kind of measures do. you take how do you think with respect. to this kind of huge. decision what happens there how what. kind of heat. prod so obviously normal natural. everyday decision right so start I said. we started with 10% discount 1520 then. the logical thing was to go to 50 to 80%. manufactur Ro drugs this is always a. part of the company's main.
idea even we wanted to test it it's a. big decision anyway while it is normal. process for us still big so only rest of. three four. months problem then we went across the. country so for us if it is a brand new. thing which is out of the ordinary we do. a pilot in maybe one store 10 stores one. city half. city that is the best way right so. depending on the amount of effort.
involved and the money involved and. everything else involved we restrict the. thing to a small thing. so everyone can. talk you know we can talk all the board. members can talk and there's two ways to. everything right Pro proof is always in. showing the results which means you have. to Pilot it out that's all so.
absolutely absolutely yeah. so last month. beginning across the place around 9.45. lakh customers use already discount. discount and they have saved more than. 75 cres so we just calculated the amount. of. money.
and now I can imagine next. years going. forward. given set I can put to that 800 800. luckily 90% of what we sell is. okay very very less actually uh so given.
that most of it is this only I see no. reason why almost everyone will not buy. this as we go. forward. I'm. like either inov.
drug either. origin so that's how it is store. generics that's it end of story that L. came got it got it and when I was. actually checking the metrics uh IND top.
second top the difference the Gap second. thir second I mean. third I wanted to ask you where do you. see yourself M or met Plus in the next 5. years or 10 years.
so we'll slowly start you. know got a lot of stores 450 Bangalore. 450 and. 450 so wherever we are there we set up a. lot of. stores. so we expand normally now that we have. gone to these three. St we start going.
moreth so go across the country. eventually I'm sure I'm. sure I saw claim also 1 km from your. radius how did you think about this.
first of all and. start kind of expect the. market what what is. that. sorry 10 years back. only two three people from my family. used to go for Hy I mean medic but every.
person in the family are prone to some. other disease or whatever infections. they dependent on medicines. IND or what what happened in your. thought process. see the two different questions actually. so, overall Market 2006.
dises are getting found out much more. easily. testing and people are also more. affluent they're able to buy. medicines right cost. much right except for some cancer. medication everything is Affordable you. can easily buy it so uh we knew that as. a.
population lifestyle. dis. guarante you will eat better you'll work. you you know do less. exercise people travel only in bikes or. cars or whatever. soy more Ali you will end up getting a. lot more of the lifestyle diseases like. diabetes and hyper cholesterol all these. other. things unfortunately so we know that the. market will grow clearly this was what.
happened in America and all the other. countries we knew that the market second. question not Cross. Road purely we see only what is the. total density of population around that.
density. [Music]. travel so there obviously because end up. putting slightly lesser shots usually. around one store for every 30,000 people.
right I just relate this with some other. equation. bus.
he told a point whatever he. thinks when you think about your. business. growth of course it's a cliche or. awkward. question I'm not my business is not.
going to depend on people getting more. sick right right uh people will get sick. normally only that's a fact of in fact. it is dependent on people living long. and healthily. right 60 70 80 90 100. years so older you will need some. medicines to take care of yourself. medicines are what make you live and you. know stay longer so it we actually. contributing to the long life of people.
and you know healthy life of. people you'll take a lot ofets out there. to make yourself really good and all. that right. so all you know make you much. better those are all things which make. you feel good look good and everything. else maybe look good right so. anyway well you know we have a market so. obviously that's the main thing for us.
don't mind me asking abolutely. I got AO. offer two. months months. same way there are products. [Music].
like I when I got to know that again I. cannot claim it. but there is AIT which is actually. producing such kind of product which. are example. how do you see this coming.
see. UNR right I'm pretty. sure impossible to find out right right. uh. so um first of all people don't know if. they. see unfortunately the only way to be.
100% sure is to go to a reliable right. seller that's. right you can't make out and say okay. this a fake drug or. origal in fact last one month theyve. actually caught a lot of people out. there so one should be aware that that. such things. happen. and obviously go to a reliable you know.
stores and all and you'll get the drugs. right. yeah magic. remedies so magic remedies which are. basically things for which there is no. proper let's say proof right uh then. clinical right. so if you have a doubt you can go out.
there and look at articles right on that. particular topic there is nothing out. there which is not already researched. and there's no. information you obviously can't trust. everything you should look at. somethingand can be guaranteed or. National Institute of Health I think the. NHS you can be sure.
indish very good article so you can find. out I'm sure you know they are so. overwhelmed this is one more thing right.
that we can. actually curious you call it as. manifestation what whatever it is. like do you believe this or uh of course. not everything no no no maybe it is true. to some extent but uh I think it is.
better not to really rely on it right so. it is better to take the right. medication and work with it. that's to. the 22 23 years 24 years youngsters in. case PHA industry medical. industry of. startups what will be the road map that. you would suggest them the you can you. can give a generalized thing or a. specific.
thing so. um already supp. IDE make sure that you are solving one. of the three right you're cheaper you're. you're better or you're faster okay. right USP don't get into it don't just.
say on the industry. valuations I sure I can get this and. flip the company for. this right you have to have some kind of. USB before you want to get into the. business and. other if you know you want to and by the. way I don't advise 21 year olds to get. into business immediately okay it is not. a great idea you do it only okay you can. do it you can absolutely do it when you. see this cheaper better faster or you.
see a unique idea which is like. fantastic you're thinking this. unbelievable idea I have to do it. there's no one else then do the research. to see that no one else is doing it and. make sure that there is something unique. about it and um if you 100% feel that. you're like it should be like a burning. passion if you really want to get into a. business right it should not be I don't. want to work so I'll get into a business. I want to be my own. Master the stupidest reason to get into. a business no one is his own Master.
right so there's always someone inv. Market there's always someone above you. it doesn't matter how big you are right. uh so you'll always be working for. someone there's no doubt about it so. don't get into it because of that you. should only get in if you first of all. have that thing which is I have an idea. which is like unbelievably good I see no. one else doing it I think this will. really be great then you start thinking. about. it.
great there is no to it easily. copyable and can you basically protect. it or not so lot of times it's very. risky very very risky right then it. becomes. extremely so Facebook is the easy.
software but he the first one he built. it and he scaled it like crazy right. there's no need for anyone to build. anything like that so our type so if. you're creating a simple thing then very. risky you have to really scale it really. really fast if you feel that you have if. you have the uh let us say the uh um uh. ability to take that risk you can go in. but you should know that if it can be. copied then you need to scale it first. otherwise it could get under right.
so if you feel see the best idea is one. which is deeply. technical then then it good right but. Google if there's some technology be it. it's always good to get that so the.
reason I said don't get into anything at. 21 is because you probably don't have. the knowledge to do anything at 21 right. a lot of the really good. companies are companies which have been. set up by phds with very very very deep. knowledge of the industry and they found. a nich which no one else knew they had a. head start Yahoo start with their PHD. Google start their PHD Qualcomm start pH. all the big companies Nvidia start PhD. so all these guys came in with loads of.
experience they found some things in. their industry which were not being done. by anyone they went and made it and they. made massive companies so me. comp something which four people can sit. and you know code in one. week that you should think really 10. times before you started so. okay then you know be the for the risk.
and all that sort of stuff now time. funding is not easy to get valuations. are not great so be prepared to work. very very hard and try to make the. business profitable as quickly as. possible at a unit. level so first correct proof of. concept prove something and then go got. but personal. although I have done non- Tech. businesses you know retail is not a very. Tech business and all that sort of stuff. I would still like you know to invest in.
pure Tech where there is a. m around. 20,000 an organization needs to work so. ethically internal. [Music]. system wherever there are people there. will be. problems I was just wondering. there should be very. great.
structure quties are very much needed so. who is a leader according to. you he'll be called as a. leader. see obviously it's not easy this out. there uh but it will always help if you. put yourself in the shoes of the. opposite person right right of your. employees of who is out there and all.
that actually you know whoever is. working for you right is he getting paid. well is he being taken care of does he. have a proper you. know. um you know are are his incentives. aligned to your. incentives you'll actually be able to. succeed and actually get work done uh. that is the more so you.
know. obviously I don't want to go into that. what I would say is always this okay if. I'm asking someone to do something I. want to make sure that it is worth his. time and his. interest long they align to my interest. they are align to the company's interest. as long as both are there then you know. you can actually make this guys work or. you know take care of them got it again. every podcast last look two three.
questions generalized. question first question is uh what is. that the most influenced influential. thing where did you get influenced the. most it is difficult to say I finished. my medicine in. 1991 immediately after that I wanted to. get into business. so I was never really you know planning. to practice as a doctor. so and that is because of various things.
you know because you know of influence. of my family and Coach because of my. father or whatever or because of the. books I read or whatever it just is a. different kind of thing so that was very. firmly entrenched my mind very very. early on but yeah a bunch of books which. I read around that time would have also. influenced me IR R's book Fountain Head. obviously is like um sorry Fountain Head. okay and Atlas Shu both right that at. that age we obviously you know fantastic. books to read and kind of set me on a.
entrepreneurial kind of path yeah you B. yeah yeah how does your day go sir just. my yeah it's it's you know work. M uh an hour at the gym and uh reading. something okay that's it only those. three okay got it and the last question. is like uh. generally with. this we do many events community. building activities as s so for a person.
like me if you need to give an advice. and where I'm actually working very. closely with the right now. generation I'm getting the very good. Early. Access. 40. almost I can get any advice only a. couple of things.
yeah there is no substitute for hard. work. right right and um I would say focus on. one thing right you whatever you're. doing right now you figure out if the. market opportunity for whatever you're. doing is really big right and whether. you can go for it and then try to focus. on on that right doing too many things. is never good M. right again by the way this is very easy.
advice to give very hard to actually. keep I myself do a lot of different. things out there uh but I know I would. have benefited tremendously if I had. focused on one thing all the time so if. you can keep that in mind then obviously. it'll be great got it. so sometimes actually there's a very. very good saying by. Bill Gates mhm what he said was people. usually overestimate what they can do in. one year or two years and completely.
underestimate what they can do in 10. years I can go and get 2 million. subscribers or million followers or 10. million. followers then they go about it they. find it tough then they basically do. something else and something else and. something else and they completely. underestimate what they can do in. 10 2 million or whatever some huge.
number right you want to achieve in very. very short time you don't achieve it you. get depressed but the thing is even if. you have achieved a quarter or less of. that and then you keep at it quarter. quarter quarter quarter quarter a. compounding effect becomes huge very. true right you know for us we started 16. years. back within like say. I think I was interviewed by someone out. there in business today someone and then. I said what's your formula what do you. want to do two years time we'll do 2,000.
stores and we'll do something else I. said everything was 222 only obviously. we never achieved any of that but then. we we stuck to it and then I said then. we will do IPO took us 15 years but. that's okay right but the thing is 100. 100 100 100 now we are at 4,000 stores. last year we put in 1,000 stores this. year we put in 600 600 to 700 we now. have the capability of doing this can. you are able to do it after a period of. time on a solid.
Bas Focus doing something else is. something which you should not do got. it and thank you very. much. but thank you very much for your time. but I would request you another episode. very.
soon not just about industry absolutely. thank you very much thank you thanks for. coming thank you much thank you very. much for watching the complete. episode do support us like share. subscribe and. comment.
