trust me. indiana. well again what golden bird is. banega. it will happen because everybody's taken. everybody everybody's now understood. you have to do hard things. and everybody is doing hard things. we keep talking about garyvee and tony. robbins and all of that. with all due respect they worked hard. and they are there because only of their. hard work yeah right.
we need to grow that. you know. power now key you know hamara countries. that's why when i spoke to ankur and i. said. i have a dream about your book. that let us make that one book from. india which is. which writes international bestseller. one million copies sold all of that. so it has to happen here it has to. happen. otherwise what's.
today when we were discussing numbers.
what we did we changed attitude we said. we don't have an option. you have to do. yep otherwise what is the point. we have starting now that you're talking. about attitude success and all that you. said early success is poison huh it is. yeah q. the reason is that. not everybody has wisdom to. understand the magnanimity of success.
hold it conceive it. and. work with it. there are enough examples i don't know. name anybody but there are enough. example. that you can go and see. who got immense success at the age of 13. 15 19 21. and they get derailed in three four. years. so. getting success early. is not a problem.
holding yourself grounding yourself and. having that openness to be guided. that wisdom should be there. otherwise. what happens is. you will act your age. yeah no matter what. you will act your age. and when you act your age. there are things that you do which you. are not supposed to do with that. particular you know. that particular amount of success in. your hand because you saw the.
calculation that we did today. right when we said. that you know your time we are going to. make make content worth of how many. years 69 69 000 years. imagine. can you even imagine.
so the reason i always say that early. success is a poison rather we should. rephrase and tell it a slow poison. is because it comes with a lot of. baggage it comes with arrogance it comes. with a lot of. you know that. oh i've been there done that kind of. thing. but point is life experience comes with. like life experience so i'm not.
discounting that it is a bad thing no. please please become a billionaire 13 no. problem. but please have your ears and eyes open. to things which only age and experience. can bring. that is also important so what what do. you think only asian experience can. bring can you give one example. patience patience. matlab a way of looking into things. creating sustainability. bye the war is not of becoming the.
richest man on the earth right. the war is to become that and to be. sustained there yeah. every five to seven years that list. changes now one to ten. right. yeah there used to be a guy who used to. be on number one who is not even in top. 50 now. why. how. what went wrong. what did that person not do with time to. be there. and what did a new entry.
do to get in that list. intense hakkinen. it's a food for thought you don't have. to make a assumption or. answer or yes or no on it. so they have figured something out right. maybe people that they have surrounded. themselves with maybe the kind of. decisions that they take maybe.
something right maybe process system. whatever something right. now talking about this. is.
in this country there are not enough. people who are. who should be successful when you. compare in terms of percentage i'll tell. you something. controversial. best ceo best doctor best whatever. they are for themselves they are not for. the country. come again club. our best ceo.
apparently you are contributing.
agarwal saab of twitter ceo um. always say indian origin adobe i don't. know i forgot his name adobe uh head is. also indian right. mastercard master uh. all of those guys if they were in india. would have they become what they have. become today. so we need to create that system first. and to create that system raj actually.
i'm looking forward in in in our. generation us you me people like us like. rita sir right vijay shekhar sarmasar. all that zepto ceo the two boys that you. met right all of these guys all of these. guys so big supriya joe stocks i am our. co-founder these people will make that. environment. top jackie has seen hope and we have a. good 20 years to go by the way. it's a 20-year game plan that we'll have. to play to become. like that.
objective american tribe. billion dollar startups. reliance. mariko yeah you know. like handful right itc you can just hand. count them like 10 20 15 bucks yeah or. nifty 50 volt then uh 50. top 50 right what nifty 500 is.
[Music]. everybody and i saw that huh. when paytm went ipo. or when zomato went ipo. or when nike went in then there are more. like boat is i i heard it would be. january and all of that. there are two kind of people who are. celebrating. you know. that.
kill startups going ipo there are some. people criticizing full criticizing. my voice. you should.
you.
stop me. foreign. so it is it is about that. that mentality that mentality you know.
when when. nobody wins the first battle. to history like libro. nobody wins the first battle in first. battle either you. lose. or you die trying.
cube.
collaborate.
so things are going to get better and. better and better and better trust me. indiana. well again what golden bird is. it will happen because everybody's taken. everybody everybody's now understood. you have to do hard things. and everybody is doing hard thing now. if you want to shift culture. i think we need right content because. content. content builds culture 100 yes that's.
that and culture builds communities. communities are powerful to bring change. in the country i agree right. so what should we do. okay and then from from there on i'll. come to this book because it's it's. going to talk a lot about what i do. already. so what should we do to bring that kind. of content so that hum log. india. aspiration rather than just inspiration. because i genuinely want to see. everybody who's watching this i want.
them to come up with their own startups. and become like billion dollars. we start working and tomorrow if they. tell me this is the idea i'll be ready. to see it fun 100. forget everything else but how do we. make this like a machine that we're. actually every year we're we're becoming. a factory where we're producing more. entrepreneurs are bringing change in the. country can i tell you something on this. podcast which i told you in private. go ahead huh uh-huh.
to do that raj. we have. a responsibility. to constantly upgrade ourselves. it cannot happen without that. before you started content creation and. let us take your example yeah so that we. don't have copyright yeah. so. before you started content creation. there was five years of serious gizai. that you did yeah you bloody sold stuff.
you know you gave talks you traveled the. world you saw culture. and then. you did two years of content.
you have to ask yourself when was the. last time you again put yourself into. the grind a serious grind. and if not create that grind around you. and now because you've grown. your responsibility. and your appetite. to do more has increased any which ways. yep. so. now. when you put things out. you will have to just increase the. quality. and. meet of the content.
for people. for example. and this is a very basic example and i. keep talking to ranveer about it like. all the time right. and i asked him this so me and ranvir we. ask each other a lot of difficult. questions like sometimes. sometimes i don't have an answer many. times he doesn't have an answer. and like let's talk about it tomorrow. right. so. man lay raj. and i'll give you so i have a school.
friend she's like a sister. she's same age she's. around 32. she's a fan. okay. one day i was in gurgaon and she with me. and uh. we were talking we were on a call. she saw and.
and raj is 24 25. that means something raj has. fundamentally figured out which is. iq is or equi is better. right. which let us put in a bracket of a good. thing like it's a it's a great thing. that's happened so i broke it down with. her and i said.
then she said. by the way she runs a organization of. herself and. freelance stuff type yeah and uh. she's a software designer.
[Music]. because she's leveled up yeah so raj. summary. for you to keep. raising aspiration of people you have to.
raise your standards because. people who you taught yesterday now have. they become as intelligent as you are. so now the same same level of. intelligence are becoming competition. yep so this is what you have to do. to ensure. that you keep growing and otherwise what. will happen they will they will they. will still follow you for the sake of it. but then they will go to some other door. to seek higher level of. knowledge maybe garyvee or maybe you. know grand corner maybe tony robbins i.
don't know maybe ankur. you know so everybody keeps upgrading no. and and with time age also increases. yesterday when when let's say bhavya. followed you he was 13 year old. and today bhavya is 15. priority of bhavya when he was 13 versus. priority of having his 15 is changed no. yeah and that same priority compounds as. they keep growing true. so you have to provide them in the. situation that they are in right now so. you have to reverse engineer what your.
audience are that's why i keep telling. talking to your audience is very very. important. asking what is their problem in their. life currently is very very important. because of youtube instagram. like 18 to 35 yeah but why are you. waiting for 35 channels.
what are you explaining in this book in. order to become content creator so in. data part okay. what does it take to become a content. creator. so basically. it's booked.
the same thing again and again and again. and again. and in what conditions. all of these guys apart from ujjwal uh. ujwal is a very young kid gaming. all of these guys started when reliance.
jio was not there. yeah so forget about watching content. even uploading was expensive no. yeah think about that logic. true right. so they have invested time money. patience everything. so it's not an overnight success. today if you celebrate say bhuvan or. ashish or ranveer or anybody for that. matter abhinu or kabita's kitchen or you. know team nash and all you have not seen. the grind that grind is in the book. [Music].
what was. a particular creator's parents thinking. while they were doing all this yeah. which was time passed according to them. still is for a lot of people like. exactly but i mean things are changing. yeah thankfully now parents are also you. know so ugly then josh talks me we were. doing one whole thing and and. uh.
right so my point is. parents are also supporting right but. it was not easy when they started. yeah. but now now that it has become premier. choice for a lot of everybody inside. nationwide logo doctors.
in the room otherwise it will move. around any which way yeah and thrash. through the wall. so imagine that. okay. now replace that.
i have this belief that in 10 years or. maybe 20 years from now. everybody will be a creator indirectly. directly everybody actually is a creator.
any which ways just that they will come. on internet the medium will change and. they will start expressing yeah so the. game of expression is going to change. yeah yeah they'll take it more seriously. sincerely sincerely the difference. between being serious and sincere. they'll take it sincerely. because when they get sincere about it. they'll start making it either for. personal brand or for money or for fame. or for like anything fun anything. right. so. so yeah.
internet no more is a time pass yeah. it's not a time pass anymore internet. has become a serious internet babe. so biggest vfc is like internet is no. more time buzz right and people who. understood the power of internet. 10 years ago are now billionaires today. they all understood internet but. internet is at the end of the day. understanding psychology and customers. at large yeah right and the other day i. was talking i was telling you.
i was asking how do you understand in. this constantly evolving world how do. you understand customers better how do. you understand these people better i'll. tell you i'll have a very simple answer. about you guys this by being obsessed. become. obsessed to service your users or. customers delivering happiness. away.
but that's the level if you ask them. they will do it also.
or they will bring some solution to it. now this is madness right yeah that's. why that's a billion dollar company. because they are mad. what did what did. i mean. jeff bezos solved click. yeah he said kid don't click out. um. by now. obsession. content creation. i want to give the best. like nobody.
foreign.
[Music]. nobody thinks about it nobody breaks it. down to that level.
but honestly especially when you look at. you look at the from the lens of a. company right. from a country there are two things. which i've noticed. i might be wrong. like a lot of people might hate me for. this or quote me wrong for your wrong. here for okay. but though jesus said like that. and you tell me if i'm wrong or you give. me your perspective on this. one of the biggest things is. india is a place where talent is born. but india is a place where talent gets. repelled. our country doesn't attract doesn't know.
how to retain that. hamari country. so the moment you see. up they go to maximum people who make. quick wealth their prodigies. immediately they try to associate. themselves in some other countries. immediately right. alternative plan. all bills have alternative. citizenships.
because we are always taught to follow. not to question. okay there are two parts to this. question. i hundred percent agree with your first. point. i agree with your second point also. my point is when we are taught to follow. and not question. now is the time. we need to. start questioning yeah because now is.
that environment come i'll tell you i i. keep telling this to. every now and then the other day i was. talking to my good friend rakshit and. and we were in that whole you know he. had his some tech co-founders big ones. billion dollar company talking and all. and said banished what do you want to. solve. everybody is sharing what they want to. solve somebody said key i want to solve. deep tech this that whatever i said i. want to solve or maybe be a part of. solving. food with dignity in our country raj.
high camera is my food with dignity. we have to solve food with dignity first. and i say that because i felt it because. i was in that situation one day. and i've been in that situation i've. risen from there right so i know what. what it means when somebody comes and.
because you're not able to pay back that. 50 rupees loan that you took when you. when you go to the rasan wallah and it. does not give they don't give you rasam. because last month. right.
i i think these are the last two. questions i have based on this only. boost on but second is. key. now that we talk about growth we're. talking about future we talk about. people should be knowledgeable aspiring. big things right where do you see which. is the biggest.
next big industry yeah next big thing. which people should focus on from today. or maybe next week's things. you can figure out. so.
but the whole point is. every day something new is coming that. means you have so much option today. our father's generation his their.
father's generation grandfather's. generation they didn't have much option. today now. if anything is stopping anybody's growth. it is only excuse. but to make it simplifying for people. okay what should they focus on. industry. then what should they learn and what. should they focus on one hard skill to. soft skill.
but with coding you need to know sales. and marketing also. because you will create company how will. you sell. building and selling yeah. so you have to learn one hard skill and. two complementing soft skill with it. let's say your hard skill is painting. you're a painter you are amazing digital. painter right you're creating an ft's. out of it and this and that but then if. you're not a good communicator how will. you tell story of that painting.
if you're not a storyteller you won't be. able to say so bro learn one hard skill. to soft skill nobody can stop you. because then you will collect also know. people like you and all and you'll build. things together or maybe you'll be a. part of the company or whatever now. here's a tough question what is hard. skill for content creators. because at the end of the day the soft. skill gave me. what is the hard skill for content. creators. knowledge. knowledge the hardest skill. yeah knowledge and point blank answer. knowledge knowledge of the subject that.
you're talking about. even if it is comedy. it is too tough to be funny all the time. yeah very. right. nice answer. like this. is this is the only answer. but good answer i i liked it i really. liked it. it's true it is the hardest part of. being a content creator is to be. knowledgeable enough that you're in an. authority where you can actually talk. about it because after every 15 days you.
get empty exactly and and you have. responsibility you know i remember uh. saying this in ranveer's podcast when we. recorded long back in 2019. and i told runway told me that i told. runway that renewed how many people. follow you on sorry subscribe on you on. youtube whatever and that time he had. some 1.5 million subscribers or. something on his english channel hindi. toronto and i said that means 15 lakh. people. you're responsible for 15 lakh people 15. lakh people raj. if i make 15 lakh people stand here.
use kind right that much is 15 lakh. people so solo. intimidated. happened. so my point is to search. who's subscribing you he has subscribed. he or she has subscribed to you because.
they liked something that you said. something. imagine to catering to that many. expectations. if you will not increase your knowledge. how will you. then your views will come down. you will not because they are watching. somebody else they have kept subscribed. but they will not watch you. so yeah knowledge is the hardest game. damn yeah this is a really good answer i. loved it but you kind of answered my. last question already.
what do you think what should i do now. in order to scale what i'm doing. sorry. but for my so this is for. figuring out episode my last answer so. that. i. i be open to criticism feedback learning. and perspective which is which is the. superpower that you have raj i want to. actually congratulate you on that.
not everybody has that not everybody can. take criticism feedback. that is what i keep teaching ranveer. also because i sometimes.
[Music].
yes.
and he was by the way. god bless his.
yeah right so we have come a long way. and we are going long yeah yeah and with. this content this is kind of stories and. stuff we are pushing this fast and even. like we're pushing forward and faster. one time when i was working in a factory. like my uh. my military factory. satellite.
it.
me. so what is the worth of my life. and that day i decided that i'll do. something else like i will not be in. this setup i will not end up as a. factory worker and i. left everything after 12th and i came to. pune i started my job with the call. center and things started.
that i still remember that scene i. looked into her eyes. and she looked into me and we didn't. speak to each other. but there was tears in her eyes. yeah and you don't have to speak and. emote. it's enough yeah right. this is crazy dude. i mean. i've never heard this i've never this is. insane. this is the actual. thing. wow. and you have come a long way man i hope.
so i'm not a catcher. no you have come a long way. well. so now i it. this this makes me this last story makes. me happy for two reasons. one. like all of a sudden the respect goes. another level because you have come a. long way and if. if people start with something and when. they achieve that and after achieving. that they go beyond. what they have thought. of.
when you. when you see somebody sit with them.
and if you remember this incident or. logos. like i feel. very good and. i don't know. if i said they came. i don't know how to express that feeling. it's just. key man like this is it like this. is why. this is why this these stories needs to. come out because this should give. everybody hope that kiha.
you know what raj when people know. you die every day. when you're poor you die every day do. that. one. because you don't have money. another. your confidence dies. so you die to that death. in one day and each day. so and trust me in today's.
setup. in today's setup you have all the where. with all to change your condition. wherever you are and everybody who's. watching this now. they already have access to internet. yeah that means they have no excuse to. do nothing in life. they have to do great things in life. damn. i love this. thank you so much for being here thanks. man. what i got deep down.
