so yes. what did you do. and how did you start okay so many i'll. drop school i think when i was 15 right. in eight standard to us. why did you drop out like you want to. know that well. education i don't i it's not oop in six. standard i was stopping in the class. though by the way let me also tell you i. i don't think i've shared anywhere but i. was stupid in the class. of school or school we were changing.

house right in a different location. right so one uh i went from uh pscb to. cbse board right international board. right so. i was in that semester in the last. semester i was the topper i was the. first wow and overall i was third right. or what we bought today number three. number nickel. method. though seventh was also good for. computer girl.

he gave me dvd i used to watch it.

so seventh i think later in seven. standard i got computer those times. in a distracted yeah just like then i. knew it what i'm heading towards right. so okay. so just just a quick disclaimer guys if. you're getting distracted by computers. and your mobile phones and you know. what's the plan and where you're heading. it's not bad. no no no no. so i i don't encourage people to drop. from. education. i encourage them if you want to draw.

from school college whatever but not. from education. we mix up education. and knowledge right so there are two. different things right. uh actually it's one but we look at two. at different perspective right merely. educational matlab i think i've shared. that in the past also merely educating. knowledge. okay.

and. he said something similar he said. don't let university. become. a become an obstacle for your education. true. so it's like education is different. university is different it's like and.

it's not that every university or school. is bad it's like if it doesn't interest. you then it's bad you should keep. learning and upgrading yourself and. something which you are interested in. and never stop that hey that's there we. go. education and knowledge say drop out. connecting. all right and that's my problem okay i. tell you my problem which i feel which. is the biggest problem in school system. that school teaches us to be a. disciplined person not a disrupter. true and in order to get ahead in life.

you need to become a disruptor you need. to disrupt your patterns you need to. disrupt the success pattern you need to. disrupt the status quo you need to. disrupt the product the services the. things you're doing on daily basis in. order to get ahead. of daily basis. you're just a machine following. something similar. rosebuds. and the other thing is. people tell us that knowledge is power. okay and i feel knowledge is in power. knowledge when backed up with an action.

that is power. so if you're just learning school making. out there they teach you. you learn. and you feel that oh automatically many. a class buddy i'm powerful no you're not. what have you done about it i don't know. this i'm not follow this due course so i. don't know like i can't feel that at all. but you know what you're talking about. right so. like you dropped out of school at eight. and then. how long was it when you started your. company like excuse me yeah so.

i was great at computers of course right. i used to. fix computers off my relatives of my. friends. pokemon. day one yeah yeah so but. entrepreneurship was there since day one. so. many startup when i have used time to. put them in the startup or tax security. banana i'll come to tax security uh. startup world care so i build a business. unresisted business. so. you invest.

one rupee per day. for your computer to keep your computer. healthy that is 365 rupees per annum. you give it to me. i'll come. to your place three times in a year. whenever you want and fix your computer. whatever problem you have. right. and i so that i call them amc's annual. maintenance contract right. so i sold i think close to 100 amc's. in three months right so. there was a guy a.

large computer business he got to know. he saw my advertisement he said great. business. though that money i spent on myself i. started going to chandigarh started. learning about cyber security because. hacking was of course i was 16 17 are. you a hacker you learned of course of. course i used to uh do stuff on my own. in the past anymore but yeah so i. learned that subscriber never looked. back what was the what was the first.

hack you ever did after learning. i i'll tell you the story so it's an. interesting story. yourself right the merry life. cyber crime. okay right or i was i think the only one. of the one in the country who was doing.

at that time right the many cases. right so the first book was the hacking. era okay right so. or subscribe. so that was the biggest challenge. were you when you were i was.

was invited by uh state police okay. gujarat police invited me to many. cyber crimes. [Music]. officers senior officer crime branch. punjab police.

tax security came from attack came from. technology. so. spanish. which is hola right like. yeah right so same with us so technology. stack back right in that way so tech tax. security solutions that was been founded. so i was the only one so. right so. then reliance industries. so i was the one who went to world's.

largest refinery in jamnagar in gujarat. trained their people right so training. was the model that we okay yeah so your. initial first model was training people. okay training. cbi uh iats delhi university reliance. industries first is you were making. money through trainings yeah in the. initial time there were no security. solutions they were training for this. stuff and then there's a term called. ethical hacking yeah what's that. yeah when you're legally hacking. somebody so that's where we started. again okay though.

companies. will come and hack you. so. one of the managing director of. one of the fortune 500 company of india. is that tradition what.

so i wasn't my always stuff was i was in. uh my suit and uh i was being i was 19. only right so i said you look smart do. that right so that's what he's told to. me right when email gave me the. permission so we started working on it. after a week or something we had all the. passwords email ids dumb and password. office all his employees and i gave it.

to him in front of him and he said oh. i said what we should do and now. now it's time to sell so then it was my. one of the first customer right so yeah. i got a 75 000 rupees from him. right what did you do the first customer. of my dad i got 75 000 rupees from him. so to invest in tax security so he is. the early investor like. he was angel for me so he uh 75 000.

rupees with that customer i quoted him. he gave me 60 000 rupees that i remember. how did you reach out to let's say a. fortune 500 person or maybe reliance for. training or for anything like how do you. reach out to this big. these big joints yeah someone who's. watching this for example yeah and they. are building some business they don't. want to reach out to these people how. did you reach out see uh i'll take you a. little back here so the minute book. launch kyoto i got an invitation from a. a gujarat based uh conference. happening in jamnagar.

yeshwanth cena the former finance. minister was also speaker okay hdfc bank. uh then ceso vishal was also see so. hdfcvp lot of people were there right so. a lot of ips officer was speaker there. too i was speaking with them right. so yeshuan sinha stayed back to listen. and hear about what i'm gonna talk right. so. then he promoted me later on he. introduced me to a lot of people then i. spoke about cyber security i spoke. then reliance people were there ips.

people over there so for gg. it's like build. a skill or knowledge in one domain start. talking about it start writing start. speaking about it and then people will. find you to give the good opportunities. i think we met him last year right in. late so i wanted to do something with. him so i said yes.

i could actually. do something which was there inside. myself or in my subconscious mind right. so. like. so that is what exactly i believe in. truly right so you kept on learning you. kept on doing stuff and then.

automatically this happened nice so now. you're talking about solving problems. you believe in solving problems right. and you're solving problems for. for the people who are. key contributors in the economy key. contributors in the country right you're. you've done. have you heard ncp as well right npcs. yeah so upi you've helped reliant you've. helped couple of fortune 500 companies. as well so what are you building like. how are you helping let's say npc. so any okay any transaction that you're. making on upi.

it's directly or indirectly secured by. attack security past five years right so. we are responsible for. any transaction that you are making. again i'm saying on any upi any upi. means any upi that has been secured by. us. directly or indirectly right and. straight five years so since it's been. born. wow and so okay i want to understand. deeper by the way just spitting fats out.

here i recently attended. a session by npcs. this npc's head of someone i i forgot. his name but he's a very smart guy and. he talked about that. india. has world's best payment system as of. now. when you talk about upi amazing there's. no other country who's been able to. replicate faster at the scale which. india has done in terms of payment. interface undoubtedly upi is insane like. even america doesn't have anything close. to what ubisofi is the next future of.

payment. worldwide. so this is built in india for the world. built in india secured in india. secured by us. by indians yeah. yeah yeah but we we don't claim that. publicly but yeah so i don't mind. sharing it. okay so tell me how. first tell me keep. cyber crime. like if i'm if it's not secured and then. what are you helping see uh there will.

be people who would say that oh it. clicked i saw that i.

foreign. then a lot of money is there in the. banks right then yeah you know. right. so that's not uh even though remotely. possible that is just to create threats. so miraculous. cyber security.

so. let's talk about this. okay but still i'm little unaware i'm. casual about so what are these. casualties where can i lose money. because you know i tell you my parents. my dad everybody keeps.

and we do it a lot and because we do it. again and again we have only told them. one thing. account number right like card number. so you're safe like that's the first. level.

you give bribe to somebody working in a. company let's say xyz company telecom. company.

[Laughter]. yeah but i'll talk uh see. this is. very very minimum thing cyber go hum.

digit that he mentioned 250 crore rupees. loss that uh that the company had to. suffer with. single click. it either say that. right so that is what i'm trying to say.

it's like. cyber crime is also like uh. you know. terrorist activities right controllable. yes. border pay controllers. daily mri soldiers that salute to them. right who are taking care of our side. that we are able to rip cops.

i call cyber security people cyber. warriors okay right they are dealing. with millions of viruses every day. chronovirus.

right and unsung people right well never. got any appreciation from anybody and. still working right so that is what we. are. you guys do that and that's commendable. because i think if we are able to. transfer our money our social media. accounts our emails technically our. entire life revolves around that right. like this channel today if someone. attacks i'm gone. like it it goes down to zero so you tell.

me okay. let's talk about the potential like what. all can be what what all can happen you. just said same cloning was. how can i lose my money how can i lose. my accounts. yeah what other potential threats. which are common man honestly.

so that is the only problem kuchini it's. simple very simple right so just go jump. just keep healing problems. it's all about education that how you. live your life right. just. remember one thing you know you know.

i'll cover it up everything that you. want right. will you share. your toothbrush with anybody. then don't share your cell phone as well. or your data. simple. one of my. friend.

they started traveling all over the. country right.

machines. machines. they made. around nine crore rupees in 90 days. almost 90 days. nine crore in nineteen and we are the. one who notified to the authorities and. therefore it stopped i never shared the. story and i was the top. guy there that who.

helped the agencies too. how did you figure out. very. limited.

because it was with law enforcement yeah. okay now tell like i want to go one one. step deeper this is like financial fraud. yeah email. but what all is cyber crime i'll tell. you something what is cyber okay cyber. crime as for me i don't treat financial. frauds as a cyber crime anymore because. it has gone wider right so when i used. to say that uh you know if the world war. three will happen it will be cyber war. right i used to say with the pride. because i was involved with the cyber.

security industry now i don't say that. because i know that's very scary right i. i'm i. of course have become more responsible. than past right that's how you grow uh. as a honor but if you look at ukraine. and russia war right cyber is playing. the major role i have met uh cyber. playing the major i'll tell you so i've. met. the ukraine. member parliament in san gal in. switzerland last month at symposium uh. we spoke in depth about it she said.

if my people. are at one place russians know before. they reach there. because they are so much in our system. technology that they know better than us. about us. that's cyber. now you understand technology. comes with pros and cons right this is. what is happening right so. yoga right. your countries uh.

is an oil right so. database. [Music]. strategy follow your country name. through the check. through the checkers they invest in your. company through some sources.

and they are sitting on this country. a lot of countries like our and china is. one of them right or hum victim one. like any startup funded by china i. i don't say that i don't use it but i. feel sad for them right. how to share the data i don't know they. have to share the data or not but of. course the somebody's a shareholder. invested and there you they may utilize. your data and for adverse things as well. you never know right so that's where the.

data localization came into the picture. right. so. hamara data hamare pasi regard. this is what we are following and we. have implemented and we are one of them. right so kuch if you remember chinese uh. startups. though we were part of the data. localization.

had we had a you know tough time with. china then also now right now as well. right. business. right this is the whole right now. i'll not name the startups right you. pick any top 10 startups china's. involved yeah. so and that's the their strategy to. enter of course not to just enter to.

just rule through you right so i'll tell. you one thing. the best. power is without accountability. right so they are. powerful without accountability right so. if if something goes wrong then you are. responsible something is good they are. in a win-win situation right so a lot of. things are happening that's where. now i go back what we have done from the.

investment point of view is we never got. a funding uh for certain reasons one we. are cyber security company and cyber. security is all about trust right we got. an investment from widget area prominent. stock market investor great name in the. country more than money i got. uh. life lessons from him learning from him. right he's like a father figure to me. right he is a teacher to me right uh. hamari let's.

but for the good for the company right. or life giveaway. right so. uh. he i'm the only one we are the only. company he invested within 15 minutes. uh mount office got through a reference. he wrote a check on table to me that is.

what the investment we got and we are. that is why i say that we are 99. bootstrap. so we have been funded by the customers. for the customers that is what we are. doing right that's why we're not taking. money because we are dealing with a. large data we manage five plus million. vulnerabilities uh. for our customers on our product esop. right so that is what we are doing so. that's where you know uh we are we. struggled but we overcome with those.

right. country massive cyber security companies. and funding bars here so i don't know. what they are up to right but we are not. up to that okay now tell me one thing i. saw this movie edward snowden okay. snowden. is about that america. at that time built or maybe was. commissioning to build a software which. is like third eye kind of stuff. where. every camera. which was there in america. they were recording they had the. location. they were recording it was out there.

okay this was snowden about right if i'm. not wrong was it. it was that right. yeah that movie is there that that movie. is about that the snowden. snowden is the one that i admire him he. made everybody aware what is going on in. the society and which is very. important for people to know to learn. what is going on in society uh snowden. made it popular. aware educated so at that time what he.

said. hey i was the part of the the group who. was building this but i didn't know that. i don't know that i don't know like he. claims that. everything is getting recorded every. voice is getting recorded and the. government has access to your private. conversation and the room is itself. i'll tell you there are only two kind of. people in the cyber space.

one. who doesn't know they are hacked. one who knows that. sim. so you tell me which one you are. so. is it. is it bad good like what do you want to. know anything else like i think i. covered. i'm happy okay now we know it everyone. is that's all doesn't that give power to.

a lot of people about how we think what. we do and how we can be blackmailed how. can we do other things yeah maybe it's. already happening you never know. you tell me. why. is that. hard to comment on this but look at that. right a lot of public stories are there. if you want to. um. we have to be eagle eye right so we uh. you feel that let's say xyz people who. control our data they have the power to. show us. a number of things and control our. thinking control where we want to go. control the places. we like or.

the opportunities which we get. everything is controlled i don't know. they are. controlling i don't know but they have. the power they have definitely the power. of course. is there a way that we can hold is there. a way that we can stop that so uh that. is very good question i think if you. look at when whenever you use an. application. on iphone there is a. notification comes up uh. ask not to track my. information or something by application. do you see that so do that right apple.

has introduced this uh. last last year so. uh the other app apple will not share. other. your information of your cell phone with. the application that you have installed. yeah right so they will keep it with. themselves ask not to track that's not. to track right but they will keep with. themselves. right what they will do with the data. you never know. banking passwords and crypto passwords.

with some of the law enforcement agency. we got that project right said. backtracking i can't say what company us. kitty was my back tracking key and all.

of that the server were in pakistan. and he said. it's big big time loss for the country. like you never know what is going on in. the society that is also there right. a password manager is should people use. it. that is what i'm saying people should. not use it. why i'll give my password to somebody. i only have one challenge if something. goes wrong with me. password. problem here. what will happen after me.

for that what i have done is i've. written that that in a piece of paper. and i've i've hidden it three places and. my dad knows about those three places. and there are two more people who know. about that place if anything goes wrong. you guys have to go there and like i. follow the same process. but the problem is i have to keep. changing the password yes every six. months i change it yeah six months you. change you know but keep changing it. every 60 days. six days 60 days 60 days right but keep.

it 30 days that is the more viable. option right but if you can't do it 30. days then must change it within 60 days. okay all right i want to ask you last. question on this and then we talk about. your entrepreneurship journey. i thought.

so i'm very fortunate that i'm born in. the country right you know. we are we are far better than. more than 200 countries right yeah. we are best than 200 countries right so. better than other also right in lot of. perspective right everything has pros. and cons like now go back to your thing. right. so our. fight is there with the u.s united. states. but it's a progress. or maybe it's development maybe it's.

that's where we have data localization. right i think i could answer your yeah. you answered but. not with the neighbor country this does. not follow with the neighbor country. whoever is. because if you. give that to a neighboring country they. inherently have a lot of power so you. you can.

share that with country who is at a far. vicinity than you than someone who's. near true. if you look at so it's much better to. have ties with america than china. i think india has a ties with a lot of. countries now i'm not a political person. right yet right so. uh we have a great ties with uh you know. a lot of countries european countries. small countries large countries thanks. to our honorable prime minister that who. has built such a great network for the.

country wherever if you look at we. travel so much now and uh. i think half of the uh people in the. states know who is our prime minister. right yeah so thanks to him right so. we're able to recognize. a larger scale larger scale. awareness data so right so yeah so how. many times i think. are good with uh.

we have one thing which nobody else has. it. young journalism. a skilled resources which nobody has. china. right. so we don't have that we have to look at. that perspective that's that's not a. political perspective that's a business. perspective right which is required very. much for the business.

country my business. is. am i investing in the right space am i. investing at the right place so. magically that's why i understood this. scenario otherwise i'm not a right. person to comment on this but mera jutta. chutas and knowledge that i'm just. trying to share from that perspective so. now that you're talking about business i. want to know one thing. so in your it's a b2b solution provider. right you. help businesses get better.

yes very much right. what is the way to make them understand. say that oh you have sql injection in. your asset oh what is that. takes three days to explain what is sql. injection and and that end up at nothing. no so we have a cyber scoring which is a. matrix from scale 0 to 10 how strong you. are that is your matrix that is called. quantification of your cyber risk right. when a cso goes to a board and says that.

oh i'm at score six out of ten. board has to ask nothing to say that oh. what will we can do to make it seven or. eight. simple so ceso is able to speak the. language that both understand through. our product that is what we do. for the companies for our living. nice. nice that's the one that's only big. companies needed or even the startups. small as well why not only the large.
