I'll maybe explain to you why that is so. so what chat GPT did was they basically. built this thing called a large language. model right and let me explain how the. large language model works the large. language model basically says I'm going. to take a string of words I'm going to. predict the next word for example you. say I love and then blank most often I. think it may be you after that right so. you can predict that next word so it. tries to predict the next word and then. it actually sees the next word and it.

learns how often which words come after. a certain sequence of words so it starts. to get better and when you train it over. a large Corpus of data it gets really. smart so what did they do chat GPT. basically used the entire world of data. that was available to them which was. about 570 gigabytes of data imagine it. is to be 30 times the size of Wikipedia. so they fed 30 wikipedias into it as. knowledge in GPT 3 which is not even as. good as GPT 3.5 as a GPT and gpt4 it's.

also been released so that data size are. even larger so first they gave it 30. times the size of Wikipedia so data they. maximized on data then the second thing. is computational workloads they put one. of the largest super computers ever. built onto to for this so they built the. Nvidia Azure supercomputer which is. built on 285. 000 CPU cores and 11 000 gpus which are. graphical processing units now gpus have.

been specifically very interesting in. the world of AI they were built. initially if in the world of video games. and those video game uh it turns out the. kind of mathematics that I run to that. are required to run video games are are. also the kinds of mathematics that are. used in in some of the AI workloads so. the gpus became very important so Nvidia. is a big player in that space which we. can talk about later so they brought in. this 285 000 gpus 10 000 285 000 CPU. cores 10 000 gpus trained it over a.

Transformer technique this Transformer. technique has originally built by Google. researchers they published a paper in. 2017 it was called attention is all you. need and that paper for the first time. said this how to do this large language. model predict in the next word they came.

up with an interesting way of doing it. so open AI guys imported that. methodology and then they put it put it. on top of this 225 billion words with. this compute Etc and they added two. additional interesting layers on top of. that one thing they did was they uh they. super they did something called a. supervised fine tuning in supervised. fine tuning what they do is you give. human conversations question answer. question answer you give it a series of. such pairs of information here's a. question here's the answer here's a. question here's the answer so this was.

curated by human beings hundred thousand. questions and answers they created they. fed into the into the algorithm it. learned how to do question answering. okay and then they did a third thing. which they did what is called as. reinforcement learning from Human. feedback so they built this system they. asked the system to provide they would. go a question and the system would. provide four different answers and human. beings will rate this is the best answer. this is second best answer the third. best and the fourth best and using this. it'll learn that this is see this is I I. thought four answers were all good but. human beings tend to prefer this one.

over that one it learned human. preferences and because of doing that. kind of thing you know bringing this. data compute and techniques and over. this very large scale and specifically. tuning it for human understanding and. human preferences they've built a system. which is very beautiful in terms of its. interface the way it answers questions. you know the way it avoids some. questions so that kind of a tech is not. there with Bard so in that sense chat. GPT is winning now bar to which credit. it doesn't have all these bells and. whistles it doesn't have the.

well-behaved nature sometimes it. produces very good results too. specifically where Bard's course is in. producing an automating code so one of. the things that's big changes happening. is that people are no longer writing. code on their own they're using charge. GB to write code yeah right to write. code debug code do testing do. documentation they're using AI help on. those things because bar has. specifically been trained on 20. different computer languages they're. actually maybe a little bit better in. coding as a coding assistant so there.

are they have different strengths but I. think chat GPT wins overall in my. opinion so tell me you were talking. about charge GPD you said. when they were feeding chart GPT and he. would give four answers and humans would. choose one answer and the majority. people who chose number one answer that. actually eventually becomes a training. model for chat GPT this is what I need. to answer so. as per my understanding I may be wrong. chat GPT gives you answers which. majority of people would like yes so the.

you have like I'm a five-year-old then. it'll give you a much simpler answer and. or you can say that explain to me as. Einstein would have explained it so. because of the the weight is built is so. beautiful that just by prompting it you. can get it to behave in a very. personalized way and by giving the con. it learns from the context of the. conversation because all of the context. keeps going back to it as prompt so it. keeps getting better over time but in. near future I also expect that these. assistants will become personalized in.

Minister Modi I can write whatever I. want to and if I have an evil mind I. would probably would want to use that. particular image voice and his video to. do the all the wrong things in the. country. and a 2024 elections are here.

I am not I am fairly confident that this. will happen before the next election. there will be fake videos of the various. political figures and it'll be so good. that you will not be able to distinguish. if it really happens exactly and the. damage is done once somebody comes and. says it's a fake Etc three days later. two days later by then it's already. spread to millions of people Impressions. have been formed what's can be changed. so this has massive implications not. just for politics it has implications on. humankind it can implications on. relationships it is very dangerous so no.

scary like a lot of good media houses. they just say that hey we read this and. we know this. but they just print anything they want. to yes they print it and then it becomes. the national news and everybody starts. believing it based on one fake image and. that's why it's it's so important that. journalism has to also get to the next. level of being able to separate truth. from fact and analyzing this stuff this. is what I think the Donald Trump images. were produced by mid-journey V5 which is.

the V5 of mid-journey is remarkably good. at producing all kinds of images and. some of these softwares also have uh. celebrity detectors and they stop. celebrity images being produced for this. exact reason but I think there are still. other ways in which people have access. to these so there are you can't control. Tech too much the the point is that Tech. moves so fast that it's not possible to. clamp down on other Tech we have to get. better at the tech that fights the bad.

Tech like you know detection. Technologies and we have to educate and. we have to make our journalists more. responsible all of these have to happen. in parallel to solve for this let's talk. dangers of AI. hoga. what are you scared of personally my. biggest fear is Agi which means that if. you say solve for climate change right. and then oh the best way to solve. climate change is to kill all human. beings because these human beings seem. to be creating all the climate change. problems so it goes and kills it Our. intention was not to kill all human. beings but we gave it a goal and did not. clarify as to what are the constraints. that it needs to operate under so we all. think that we are very good at answering. the right questions and framing the. right goals but you've seen in companies. and other places we are terrible at. creating goals people just game the. system right so therefore if we create. end up creating those kinds of goals for.

AI and in the process it destroys human. kind or destroys or creates a lot of. damage to humankind that's a huge risk. as well so these are some of the fears. that is. I never thought of it I thought somebody. will come and see that destroy the world. and then they will destroy the world I. never thought that somebody will come. with good intention be like hey solve. climate change problem and then AI would. interpret as if it was a wrong decision. or whatever it just tries to achieve the. goal which somebody gave it with good. intention and achieve it by killing half.

of the human they have to be extremely. grateful on how we are framing this. powerful AI to do what first of all we. have to control the AI from getting too. powerful and we have to have very good. guard rails and have something called as. AI safety or this is the whole area. called AI safety or think of it like an. AI kill switch this big red button that. you go and press and everything stops. you need those kinds of kill switches. for sure but and second you have to. frame these things in a in a very. careful way what are you asking it to do. what are we trying to optimize and then. have various ways in which a human is in.

the loop or human is you know sort of. can stop some decisions from happening. so we need these kinds of mechanisms to. let AI not take over because eventually. AI becomes much smarter than us uh you. know it's it's not necessary that it. will listen to us it can even change its. own objectives at some point of time who. knows yeah oh this command is or this. Commander this Commander is not serving. my purpose anymore like just stop. listening to it as far as the AI. dystopian scenario is concerned my sense.

is that the best we can do today as each. of us as human beings is to get better. at what we do see if you if because of. gpt4 and the AI getting very powerful. basics of everything will get automated. so if you are consulting firm the basic. so if you take India as generally as a. country I think we have some incredible. advantages we have one of the largest. armies in the world by the way uh I. think now the Chinese Army actually. shrinking last couple of years we may. soon be the largest army in the world. too so we have a large army and we have. a pretty impressive defense uh Defense. Force overall. where we are struggling in our defense. is that it's very human based and not. enough Technology based the shift. between human to technology is not. happen in a significant way so I think.

if I were the Indian government I was. thinking about how to create a Defense. Forces in a way to be ready for the AI. Revolution I would first divert my. investments from humans to Tech much. stronger investments in in weapons and. Tech especially cyber security it's. completely driven by AI or if you look. at even traditional Warfare one ethical. issue in defense is the use of AI to. actually do killing Etc right so this is. a if you start using AI to fight Wars.

and to create these deadly weapons I. think that's one of the areas which is. has huge ethical issues there are. multiple countries and multiple people. in the world who have signed letters. pledges to say that we should all come. together like nuclear non-proliferation. treaty we should say nuclear and. non-proliferation of AI weapons killer. AI weapons so that is so I will leave. that aside as a judgment or call for. India to make that so 2017 I was part of. AI task force and defense so government. of India constituted an AI task force in.

defense and I was part of that uh. academics Plus in the all the military. branches and uh some com some you know. companies leading companies in AI were. part of this this initiative and back. then we had made a bunch of. recommendations so government has. actually acted on some of them though. that report has not been released but I. would say that pick this human to to. tech tech and then within Tech I think. intelligence like the whole Army Navy. Air Force Etc completely rely on. intelligence the strength of the.

intelligence is very important you're. picking up for example communication. from your enemies your ability to. process that information uh decode that. information and then use it to decision. making is vital you have access to. satellite images and images and things. like that you're able to do digest all. the information and figure out uh what. is going on and what could be some. issues is very important so your entire. defense has to move allows you to. impacting first of all to technology and.

then to impacting your intelligence and. then how you intelligence use. intelligence to make decisions and what. weapons do you have what intelligence do. you have embedded in the weapons that. you have. and coming short of using AI to uh. killer drones I'm which which I think we. already spoke about as not is a topic. that has ethical issues but even without. getting there there's a lot to be done. in terms of gathering intelligence. making decisions and building more Tech. more intelligent technology defense. technology in in everything whether it's.

it's the planes that we fly the missions. that we do or the the tanks that we have. or the drones that we use to collect. intelligence you've seen in the Ukraine. Russia war that drones have played a. very important role they they have been. a lot of Civilian drones and simple. drones have been used to correct. intelligence and Ukraine has done an. incredible job of using their. intelligence to actually defend itself. in the first few months of the war so. drones are going to be very important uh. in this entire battle too so drones. drone intelligence other machines and.

intelligence decision making and. intelligence and signals intelligence as. well do you feel that uh. in few years from now we'll have robot. army then the human Army do you think. that is possible because you know how. they show it in movies where they have. their entire Army which is robotic and. then it's built and run by just commands. and computer keys and then there's like. a whole Army I remember there was a. movie called iRobot or something I don't. know right there was like white robots. the thousands of robots just standing.

with guns and these are just machines. yeah and they go on a war instead of. humans so that a lot of human lives can. save. how far do you feel that is from so the. robotic armies are already maybe some. distance away but not too far but before. that humans with robotic equipment right. are already very powerful think of like. Iron Man uh an example of that is what. the US government has done with. Microsoft Microsoft has sold 21 billion.

dollars of equipment with the hololens. the hollow lens are those virtual. reality lenses which basically makes. this human being who's on in the. Battlefront much more powerful because. he is getting all this intelligence from. them and making helping them make. decisions and they're able to see and. tactically make you know sort of figure. out what is going on so with access to. the cloud all the intelligence. instructions everything it's it's a very. different kind of warfare with human. beings already having this augmented. intelligence in in human beings then. obviously you can also have these Killer.

Robots Etc they're right now more I. would say as in the experimental stage. Boston robotics is probably doing the. best work in creating those kinds of. dogs and human beings who can do those. things but my sense is that they are not. yet battle ready the big battle also. shifting to cyber security I should say. that one of the big ways in which you. can inflict damage or or others can. inflict damage on you is by shutting off. several parts of your infrastructure. just by running ransomware malware uh. you know those kinds of things so that.

will be the big Battlefront as well for. uh all defense around the world is to. make sure that you can quickly damp do. enough damage that you can you can you. can get the Tactical advantage in the. war that is that is true Yuki I think. we all are somewhere influenced by just. the devices in our hands and one random. virus or one random bug can really.

change our financial status our mindset. our psychology our beliefs and that. could cause a bigger War than anything. else our privacy our data the country. data all of that can be like really. compromised if cyber. Cyber attack or like I don't know cyber. defense Army is not strong. okay okay let's move to another sector. the second sector which I believe in. Finance. right do you do you feel there was I was. watching some movie.

I think it was series and in that series. they say that uh all the financials. analysts all Traders and the people who. call out shots and they are considered. at the big bulls of the market or the. you know Bears of the market who make a. lot of money in Market where doing the. trades they are gonna be Irrelevant in. few years because an AI can make you. more money by running trades than a. human being do you think that is yes. will algorithms be better at finding.

trades I think it's already true because. if you look at the financial service. industry over the last 15 20 years a lot. of this move to high-speed high. frequency trading yeah in high frequency. trading you invest in hundreds of. millions of dollars in connecting a fat. pipe to The Exchange so that you can get. this information five milliseconds or. ten milliseconds faster so everything is. about speed computation and making. decisions and executing well beyond the. human realm so these are already being.

done by machine means I think some. two-thirds of all trades in the stock. markets are are high frequency trades. right so it's very high frequency very. many trades so that's happening and the. on the investment side if you look at. analysts and research reports they. collect a lot of information analyzed. and they tell you what is the next next. quarter look like and buy sell. recommendations their Industries are. going to be significantly augmented. because these research reports are now. going to be mainly written by the AI and. then you'll sort of fix it and improve. it Etc but all the data collection. processing information that will be.

there if you look at a bank and you look. at customer service Etc. now we already have put chatbots all. banks have chatbots that talk to. customers but they're very clunky. they're very old world they you know. they are very purpose very specific to a. purpose and they can't really broad base. themselves so they will have much more. intelligent human-like conversations. these banks will have and then if you. look at Banks where are there big risks. lie for banks right they know your. customer they get fines hundreds of. millions of dollars sometimes billions. of dollars of fines if they violate if.

they have let's say they're sending. money to Iran or somebody who's. connected to Iran in some way which is a. sanctioned country some money laundering. is happening so these kinds of things. they have to stop so be able to find out. all the networks of transactions find. frauds know your customer money. laundering these are the areas where. they'll be very deep impact in finance. and Industry in general in general. because it's a very information. processing heavy industry the need for. number of people might come down in. Industries like like financial services. and what about lawyers lawyers so.

lawyers are still have a job obviously. because they still. laws and everything I was like okay I. said. um for example. um charged I'm accused of doing. something. I tell my Heir that I'm accused of this. thing here's what happened I didn't do. this this is this but I did this this is. this based on Indian law and.

Constitution what do you think how can I. save myself yeah right and AI is going. to give me a report and then that. becomes an argument for me and I can. just provide it to the to the court. exactly so lawyers will take assistance. from from charging others already think. lawyers have got lots of documents to. read and they have to find the little. loopholes uh either while signing a. contract or while trying to argue uh. trying to get their way out of a. contract Etc they have to look for those. so these very large documents will be. read will be constructed by AI read by. AI validated by AI uh so they will law.

firms have already sort of reduced the. number of hires that do paralegal people. that they hire in their in their. Workforce so things are changing for. them but lawyers I mean you may have. also seen this article that it appeared. in New York Times of a lawyer who used a. certain argument in a K in a court and. it turned out the entire case law that. he was referring to was not a case law. is all hallucinations by the AI the AI. produced a whole case a case and then he. used that case in in arguing and it.

turned out that the case didn't exist so. so this can happen so what what I think. what we have to be careful about is that. AI is still not perfect it's very good. but it makes a lot of mistakes so you. need if you're a lawyer you have to be a. better lawyer a deeper lawyer who can. truth who can see the truth and the. false and can figure out the good. arguments from the bad arguments on top. of what the AI can do but the AI will be. a very powerful way of assisting the. lawyer in future okay what can people. like me who are noobs in this particular. field what can we do today to make our.

lives better with AI like what are. everybody who's watching this I mean. for a lot of people okay I'm little. interested so I go deeper in this and. I'm trying to experiment multiple things. because I believe that if I learn this. thing and even if it has one percent. chance of succeeding yes I want to be. the first one succeeding with it because. I don't want to lose on this battle so. that's what I'm super Keen into this. right yes but I'm not a coder I'm not an. innovator I'm not a technologist so I. don't understand many things yes and a.

lot of my friends who are just like me. who are ambitious and who are not. Technologies or not coders they ignore. us. like who wants to write poems with AI. it who cares that's what people. think and a lot of people think like. that like I have in my team I have. editors I have content writers I have uh. content strategies they all know that. says something called chat GPT but. they're all like yeah like who. cares I mean we could our time is still. saved by what we do ourselves yes and. that is gonna be much better yes so how.

do we convince a everybody who's. watching this that hey this is a new toy. you need to play with yes and then what. can they do in their daily life so that. they are convinced actually that okay. this is helping me if. I can't I can't afford to ignore it I. think the first thing to remember is. humans that use AI will replace. at the very least outperform humans that. don't use AI that is something that all. of us have to recognize it's a bit like.

saying humans who use smartphone will do. better than people who don't have a. smartphone you can see that you are your. life is you know somebody is bad but in. some ways significantly better because. you have a smartphone you are well. connected to your people you have. information your knowledge you can book. tickets you can you can find out traffic. you know smartphone is that kind of a. thing it is is as big or bigger than. smartphone so if you if you are in that. generation of people who said hey. smartphone I don't need it or hey this. internet stuff what is this internet. thing all about I don't want to use. internet I know previous generation of.

uh my relatives and others who ignored. or willfully waited or just simply did. not want to latch onto the bandwagon. called the internet or the cell phone or. the mobile phone or the smartphone and. they are all regretting right now. because if they're 10 years 15 years. later they feel like they're a neophyte. they really don't know and others have. gained advantage over them so I would. say that humans that don't use AI will. suffer so we have to use AI Embrace Ai. and it's not that you have to become an. AI expert there are very few people one.

percent people will AI expert you have. to become a good AI power user start. with being a basic user and then become. a power user that is itself very. powerful because it will push you in the. right direction and what can you do I. mean you just start with chat GPT or go. to chatgpd.com and and just say hey I. want to uh what are the key AI things. that I should know in my profession my. industry what are the key AI tools and. techniques I should learn get that list. of them and start experimenting go to. Bart and ask the same question or just. go to Google Search and ask this.

question what are the latest generative. Ai and other AI tools that may be. interesting for my industry where I'm. trying to get better at so if you have. your live goals here Direction just ask. for those AI tools chat GPS are. certainly one of them but is one of them. mid Journey or Delhi to you know chat. PDF chat PDF basically you upload any. PDF document and you can ask questions. and it summarizes documents for Etc it's. very interesting so there are like a lot. of different services that are hunt. Services being launched every month I.

think so it's it's vast but you can pick. a few tools and start using them and. once you start using them don't give up. on it there will be some setup time like. mid journey is a little convoluted in. using it it's a little harder but. Leonardo is much easier you can use. Leonardo it's it's a lot easier to use. Leonardo than let's submit Journey so. you can pick a an AI tool that you are. interested in spend the initial. resistance there will be some resistance. in learning curve effects but once you. get better then you can start asking.

really powerful questions that's when. you start seeing that it is actually. impacting my life for example you're. writing a book you can say what should. be with the title of my book and here's. what I've written so far based on this. give me a title of the book or you can. say I have written this chapter can you. edit this chapter for me so that it. looks more Americanized or it looks more. Indian you can do those kinds of things. which are magical not possible a year. back so no matter what the profession is. no matter where your level of current. understanding is I would say start at.

the beginning and then get to become a. power user in such a way that you like. you were very good at using a computer a. laptop or a smartphone or the internet. you are as good in using AI to solve. your problems it will make a big. difference in your ability to make. career progress and other things as well. in the Battle of Technology where do you. see India standing in front of us China. UK Japan and where do you see we. standing because all the new. technologies that we think of it's. coming from America. right Microsoft of the world Googles of.

the world uh Amazon Apple they're. killing it they have their own thing and. there are open source communities a. random coder who comes up with something. and nobody knows nobody knew who this. Sam ultimate guy was and then in five. years he's the most important person in. the world right they're all coming from. America. then you have China yeah they are. absolutely good at what they do for all. the good reasons the bad reason I don't. want to argue on that but they have Tick. Tock they have uh like Alibaba they have.

tencent like the way they've built. things. the ability to make sticky products is. crazy maybe they're the second ones in. the market or the third ones in the. market but the way they make they make. it faster they make cheaper and then. they make it stickier all their product. like all the apps that got banned during. the pandemic also they were stickier way. more stickier than any other Indian app. or any other American app so they have. their own game Japan people feel they. are in their own world yes Japan is way. ahead of the curve and they have their.

own world inside room what are like. every room is building some other robot. some other thing and they're like. rumored videos which keeps going viral. on LinkedIn of Japan or they're at this. new technology which is coming up I saw. that the phone there was this phone. somebody built it which has drones on it. and it like as you walk it just captures. you so the phone is walking with you so. you won't have to touch the phone it. records you automatically if there's a. FaceTime it comes out in front of you I. mean what's happening in Japan it's. crazy right what do you think where do.

India stands India it is the probably. the most important question that that. you've asked today in India's big. success has come from the India's Tech. stack which we have created the DPI. stack which is aadhar on on the digital. payments Etc we are absolutely leading. the world from a fintech adoption and. the UPI adoption in our country so we. have have I think it the power of that. is the government taking a role and. saying I will publish standards I'll.

publish a protocol or a framework and. all of you players will come and use the. four framework and make it interoperable. and by that we'll make it truly. democratized I think that is something. that India has done phenomenally Well. India is being towered as a phenomenal. example uh across the world because of. this so we have our own moment in the. sun with that. having said that but that's only UPS. that's one thing yes it is one thing it. is one thing but it's a big thing it's a. big thing it is it is democratizing if. an auto rickshawala can do a five rupee.

transaction or 20 rupee transaction and. a beggar can take 10 Rupees from up I. think it's it's it's something that is. truly touched India in a very. significant way and then if you look at. vaccinations or if you look at our. ability to so direct benefit transfer. there are a bunch of these open open. Tech that we have created in India which. are which are really game changing. Global in nature uh in a global scope in. nature India is now spreading these. Technologies around the world we are. helping multiple other countries around. the world in adopting something like. this India is seen as a model for that.

so I think that's our power now come to. AI I think India isn't at a very tough. spot first because the I.T industry in. India has a big threat ahead of itself. because if coding is automated right so. if you look at coding development of. coding uh you know writing code 30. Improvement can happen because you use. coding assistance so you need 30 fewer. people to do the same work right so. coding it'll you can comment and you can. create a code or you can ask a question.

you can create a code or you can write. some code and expand it you can there. are multiple ways which you can write. code you can debug code and it'll write. a piece of code it'll find all the flaws. and fix it ending so 20 30 time. Improvement in that too then unit test. unit cases test cases right where you. write a piece of code and say what are. the test cases I should create it. creates that AI creates it automatically. for you test us no longer have a really. viable career in the in the future in. unit testing right so then documentation.

you write code documentation it can. automatically produce it describe what. the code is doing in a much better way. than human beings and especially busy. coders can do so all these ways. productivity of tech tech writing code. is dramatically going to improve 30 40. maybe 50 compound over two three years. it means that we need very much fewer. people so India's big service industry. the IIT service industry 10 of our. economy could if not handled well could. shrink or the workforce dependent it may.

still grow but the number of people. required may come down it will have huge. implications for India and then India is. producing 100 million new people added. to the workforce by 2030 where are the. jobs for them so if AI becomes extremely. powerful and goes and it's India is not. able to control that What will What. should India do in terms of protecting. and preparing our country for the future. and there I feel that. first thing India has to do is is to. recognize that this is such a vital. geostrategic moment that we must act now.

with a decisive force with a lot of. money and government taking some. proactive big action one of those. actions that at least I've been. championing is that maybe we can bring. in 10 Indian companies so to speak at. startups pick companies small companies. faculty is happy to be one of the ten. each of us brings in 10 million dollars. right we create a 100 million dollar. fund right every government can put. another 100 or 200 million dollars we. create this big fund and say and tell.

the whole world advertise to the whole. world India is building Its Own. Foundation models is going to build this. breakthrough new AI any of you are. interested in wanting to contribute to. the country the best talent in the world. as well for Google Microsoft come we'll. hire the first 100 amazing people in in. this project and then build out India's. defense Strategic Defense in AI right. and and that I think could LeapFrog. India and be make India ready for. leading the AI revolution in the world. if we can't do that India can easily do. that and I think India has the best.

talent in the world to make this happen. we have all the American companies that. are building AI Indians are working for. it right one in three AI professionals. is Indian right India is already. producing a lot of papers in AI but high. quality research added with all the. computational work for the computational. workload that we need that kind of money. it requires you know it requires four. three four hundred million dollars of. capital which we can provide with India. 300 million dollars is nothing for India. even a billion dollars or even five. billion dollars is nothing for India if.

we provide that kind of capital if you. bring in like-minded companies together. and say open. truly open AI open a has now a closed. system but truly open AI for India and. lead lead the world I think we have a. real shot at winning this race for AI. and like Vladimir Putin said whoever. wins the race for AI is going to control. the world India at the very least has to. be in a competitive position with some. of the other countries that's a very. interesting take and a very interesting. opinion I feel if you are able to. implement that quickly.

I don't feel that India has a problem of. going fast and going hard I think we are. the one of the fastest and hardest. people if we are actually given full. freedom to go to yes because that's what. we did in UPI that's what we did it with. other Technologies we LeapFrog every. everything right I think we can do that. this 100 million 200 million 500 million. dollar whatever the font size is I think. this makes a lot of sense right now who. do you think is the has is most suited. or is ahead in the race to get a win.

over AI I think it's certainly you. United States. it was always U.S there's Canada Israel. UK uh China multiple countries were in. play India also is one of the players. but I think with the latest. technological enhancements U.S is. significantly ahead of rest of the world. and these are all strategically American. companies which will not necessarily. give this technology to other countries. if the US government says it's too. powerful don't give it to another. country they will abide by that because.

they're fundamentally American companies. one example I will give you Nvidia which. is a most important player in this space. they produce their gpus they created. a100s then they've created h100s which. are very powerful graphical processing. units which are Super crucial without. that nobody can build the next level of. AI right they something like that is. required. US Government actually put a ban on. exporting the h100 chips to China. they've already done that so it's.

entirely possible that next next is. something called p100 or something and. they say it's so powerful that US1. should keep it when it not give it to. anybody else in the world and then they. win the race for AI because they have. the hardware they have the computational. work loads so India needs to certainly. get into those alliances maybe have a. chat with Nvidia and companies like that. and say we will create our own. computational infrastructure we'll bring. these companies we'll build India's. Foundation models and we'll really fight. the battle for India's AI because no. Indian company in itself is powerful.

enough maybe with the exception of uh. the ambanis and the adanis then nobody. is powerful enough or as an investment. appetite to create this yeah and U.S is. a very capitalist country in ideology. they believe in that so anything which. they believe is gonna take their country. ahead in game they're gonna put their. capitalist brains on and not gonna think. about social service and helping the. world around absolutely thank you so. much for doing this fascinating Raj. great what you do and always a pleasure. to be here thank you thank you so much.
