Tesla's "Flying" Car, Espionage at OpenAI, & New Press Secretary Falls Flat | PBD Podcast #874
seconds. Victory. I know this life for me. >> Adam, what's your point? The future. looks bright. >> My handshake is better [music] than. anything I ever sign. It's right here. >> You are one of my son's right. I don't. think I've ever said this before. I saw uh Armen. Shout out to Armen. But.
anyways, hey, you know, uh the two teams. uh uh who have uh spent a lot of money. to get the best players. >> Are we going there? >> One of them gets a bunch of Hall of. Famers. The other one gets a bunch of. Hall of Famers. >> And they both get swept in the same. playoff. >> We're talking about the Yankees get. swept by who? >> The Tampa Bay. And then the Dodgers yesterday get swept. by who? >> Milwaukee. Milwaukee Cleveland is up on. >> is it the white who who's Cleveland's.
up on them two to1 and you know what. their budget is $71 million you know. what the Yankees budget is somewhere on. 380 to $41 million to get you let that. happen. >> we let [laughter] that happen it's your. fault. >> it's our fault we got Tom here he could. have gone and played yesterday. >> Brian Cashman we decided to go yeah we. decided to go to a a event for uh Dennis. Prager. It was his first time uh since his. injury that took place and let me tell.
you this guy spoke. He was supposed to. speak for 20 30 minutes. He he went for. hour and a half maybe Adam. >> Yeah. >> And he goes for an hour. You're sitting. there saying are you flipping the. message he gave was so I'll share some. of the notes at the end of the podcast. about you know some people can use the. word great. Dennis Prager is the great. We had a great time last night. Lots of. value. you talked about a lot of great. things, but today, you know, we have. this guy today with us, which is kind of. a big deal, okay? This guy named Adam. Freeland. I don't want to hype him up.
too much, but he's like some GQ calls. him the the the younger version of John. Stewart. I don't even know if he likes. that or not. He's phenomenal with. interviewing. He went to GW. He just got. married two weeks ago. He's. >> born on the same day as my dad, April. 10th. HE'S ONE OF THE GUYS YOU LIKE. SO, >> WE'RE GLAD to have you on the show here. today, Aras. Exactly. So, Adam, good to. have you on, >> guys. It it is it is an honor. I. honestly I was telling you before the. show I your clips are at this point. almost half of my algorithm and I'm just.
like fascinated by the show cuz it's. there's so much like a it's so like I. Who do you break your audience down into. like demographically? >> We so we did a survey. It says 39% of. our audience are business owners. I. think 80% of our audience is between 25. to 45. >> Yeah. Do you know that a lot like a lot. of cheeky boys like me, >> like you, >> we love this show. It's. >> great. [laughter]. >> We love the show. Like cheeky boy. >> I don't know. Just read. I don't know. It sounds [laughter] I think I like the. word. I just. >> I think it's right. I think it's right.
But uh I you I think it sounds Yeah, it's accurate. Let me tell you though, but like uh I I just love it. Like uh. cuz it's such a self-contained universe. and there's a hierarchy and you're like. the you're the capitan and you guys are. caputis and like it's [laughter]. incredible. And then like there's like. there's this aspect of brotherhood and. conflict. You work it out and like uh. yeah, I just love it. I I then there's. also aspects of like um mental health. stuff and like which is like the same. stuff that like uh just people that.
annoy me like like woke people annoy me. like you like I make fun of uh liberals. who talk about uh imposter syndrome and. I'm like wow they're business guys that. talk about it too. It's just really it's. uh fascinating to me because it's so. foreign because I'm I like I I am ter I. don't I'm afraid to check my bank. account. I had a I yelled at my business. manager that I didn't want to have a IRA. cuz I was like I don't care about six 65. me [laughter]. 65year-old me is a loser that like tell. him to make his own money. >> like that.
>> HE HAS NO IDEA IT'S GOING TO BE LIKE. THAT. [laughter] He has no idea. >> You guys are like you guys are like uh. just the attributes you guys have are. like just so fun. Thank you for that. Listen, I I I tell you, we we were uh. having a massive uh strategy meeting. talking to ourselves about whether we. ever wanted to have an Adam on the show, let alone two of them. >> Yeah. >> So, we're making an exception today, and. we're going to have a good time. So, with that being said, let me get through. some of the story. >> Do you know about this guy? >> Who is he? >> I was watching his I just want to. publicly give him his flowers cuz I was.
watching his deaf comedy jam last night. and I I was floored. Let me tell you. about white guys. We don't know how to I. hold the mic stand. I hold the mic stand. like this cuz I don't know what to do. with my arm. >> He knows how to do move. >> He's so kinetic. He He uses the space. >> Unbelievable. To get the approval of. like what. >> all black crowd. Yeah. >> There was like a thousand or 2,000 like. black audience members. It's like a bar. mitzvah. I mean it's unbelievable. >> Black Vinnie's middle name is Tyrone. Vincent Tyrone Oana. Okay. Adam, we got.
a lot of stores to get to. We got a lot. of stores to get to. usual. >> Tesla launches this car. It makes sense. >> Okay. Tesla launches this car and you. see the video and everyone's like, "There is no way this is real. This has. to be AI the first time you saw this.". And then Elon's like, "We needed a live. crowd to be here to make this believable. because people are going to say, "This. is AI, right? You have a legendary. person that said, "This person is dumb. This person doesn't know what they're. talking about. Make sure you send the. clip to the back." We have to talk about. that. Number two, AI. He He'll show you.
Number two is AI espionage, which is. kind of weird. what's going on. OpenAI. employee accused of planting a bug in. company San Francisco headquarters. Oh. no. >> And OpenAI is very concerned about. what's going on there. So we'll talk. about that. Eric Dtors, this guy. [snorts]. >> is talking about Kimberly Gilfoil and. all of a sudden he starts releasing. saying I gave her $300,000. I gave her. $200,000. I gave her $100,000. I had a. $1 million commitment for her to get me. on Tucker Carlson. for her to get me on.
Fox or for her to help something with. IRS. Get me in front of Pam Bonnie. What? Yeah. And I have all the exchange. of text. What are you talking about? She's in Greece. And then next thing you. know, the new press secretary announces. that uh we are moving on with Kimberly. Gil for Gilfoil. Thank you for her. service, etc., etc. Then the press. secretary has her own challenge that. he's dealing with. Is she an attorney? Is she a lawyer? Pepper dine? What were. you doing in China? Did you practice? Did you not practice? to the point where. even Sean Hannity was pushing her hard. yesterday.
>> And you know when that happens what that. means. Not good. >> It's not good. Yeah. Yeah. It means she. could potentially the overunder breaking. Anthony Scaramucci's record. That's what. a lot of people are talking about. I. don't know about that, but we'll talk. about that. And then we have a a story. about California DOJ suing, I'm sorry, DOJ suing California for potential voter. fraud. Then we have Elon Musk who puts. $158 million in the race in Texas with. Terico, specifically the Senate race. that we're talking about. And Terico has.
been interviewed. This Catholic lady. comes up to her, says some stuff. We'll. show some of those clips. I think guys. got those clips ready as well. >> Then we have the Fort Hood shooting, which Hexet said was going to be a live. stream. >> And now apparently the president puts. out a truth social saying they're not. going to be live streaming. 81% of. Americans didn't want the live stream. >> The 19% who did, you wonder who they. are, right? Vinnie is like, I'm. >> Yeah, I'm that guy. >> I'm that guy. I'm that guy. We'll talk.
about it. >> We'll get to that. >> Osbor and pay off the national debt. >> 60 minutes viewership is down 41%. Why? Adam's going to give us a breakdown on. that. Shane Gillis Shane Gillis. >> does a uh uh uh this is the SNL sketch, right, that he does. And monologue. monologue he does and he calls these uh. gym girls. >> Girls look like uh he used the [ __ ] at. uh at the gym. >> and people the ladies lost their mind. and they went and acted like one. Okay,
>> it's stand up. Jesus Christ. >> Listen, we're going to play it. >> Who the [ __ ] cares? >> We're going to play it, Adam. And you. can react. >> People act like standup is the most. important thing on earth. It's not. important at all. >> Well, if that pissed you off, >> you guys should I shouldn't be on the. show. I don't qualify. You guys are way. smarter than me. You guys are acting. like we're the the genius philosopher. kings. We talk about boners on stage. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> It doesn't matter. >> So So obviously this doesn't bother you. This story that bothers you a little. bit. I want to hear about it when we get. into it. >> It's because of Trump. >> Hold your thought. Hold your thought.
We'll get into it. >> We will get into it. Billy Crystal Billy. Crystal says, "Because of what's been. happening, my friend California fire, I'm thinking about becoming an atheist. Maybe a full-blown atheist.". >> Don't do it, Billy. Wait. Wait. Explain. that to me. We're going to get into it. Adam, >> California fire is what? >> Yeah. He says he's having a hard time. believing. >> who's California fire. Is that a person? >> No. The fires that happened in Palisades. and everything atheist makes him want to. be. >> over a year ago when LA burned all the.
time. >> He wasn't an atheist to begin with. >> That's exactly what I was thinking. Weren't you an atheist before? >> He's a Jewish guy. We're all atheist. >> No, we're not. >> Yes, we are. >> We're literally not. And then. >> except for the Except for the the. rabbis. None of us believe. We hate. life. We have the Big Bang Theory guy, Chuck Lord. >> We don't believe in hell, you idiot. >> Adam, I'm sorry for calling. >> You're going. >> We don't have hell. >> Whether we believe it or not, >> you're going. >> You don't even know what happens after. you die. You haven't looked at the rule. is the rule is even Hitler, it's a. spiritual like washing machine. We don't.
believe in anyone going to hell. There's. something called gehenna. >> You don't know. You don't know. You. don't know about the what happens in the. after. So when it talks about So when it. talks about shol in the Torah, what is. shol? >> Uh Saul. >> No, it's hell. >> Hell. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. But. >> you just got you just got bized up. >> Hang on. I'm on I'm on Amazon. I'm going. to send you a Torah. What's your name? >> You can't buy. Let me go through the. story. I'll come to you. Hold it. together. >> Last but not least. Last but not least.
is I'm already bad. >> Palmer Lucky. Palmer Lucky. Okay. The. Oculus guy. The billionaire. Young guy. 32 years old. his new company that. they're selling drones and all the. military equipment. Andreal is in talks. to sell insider shares. You know what? At what valuation? $90 billion. valuation. And I think it's a small. number. I think it's a small number. I. think that company is going to be a. multi- trillion dollar company. >> with what he's building and uh how war. is changing. We're going to go that. direction. All right. With that being.
said, >> um for some of you, yesterday we're at. this event. And this guy comes up to me, says, "Hey, so the FLB shoes before I. buy, you know, what size do they run? Is. it one size high, one size this?" And. you know, and Tom's like, "Look, if you. if you they run a little bit bigger, half size bigger. So if you want to get. this, get this size right there." The. guy buys an FB shoes sitting right next. to Tom and we both had FLB shoes on. But. I want you to watch this here for the. loafers. And if you haven't yet, picked. one of these up. They're the most. comfortable loafers you can wear uh out. there. So if you can play from the. beginning and then we'll get right into.
the podcast. Go for it. >> Handmade in Portugal. where craftsmanship is a way of life for. those who move through life differently. [music]. From sunlit decks to nights that never. need an occasion. Every [music] detail. is considered. Every step effortless, crafted from fine suede and built with. [music] builder technology, designed to. move with you. Because true luxury isn't. about being noticed. It's about how you.
feel when you arrive. The FLB icon. loafer. made for the life you've earned. >> By the way, the most comfortable loafers. you'll wear, go to fob.com if you. haven't ordered them yet. I think they. are in brown, stone, and navy blue. They're gorgeous. Again, go to fob.com, place your order. With that being said, let's get into our first story. First. story to get into yesterday. Elon Musk, all these videos are going viral. They're everywhere. And they're like, "Nah, this is AI." My son's like, "That's AI. This is AI. That's AI.".
like, "No, Tesla tweeted this. No, that's AI." And then all of a sudden, you're like, Elon is talking about this. We have to have an audience here. Matter. of fact, there's a video. I don't know. if you have the video or not. I'll send. it to you in a minute. Elon's like, "We. had to have an audience because people. are not going to believe what we're. launching today. They're going to say. this is AI and it's not. This is real.". So, this car all of a sudden starts. flying, flipping, turning around. And. for the people that have vertigo, you're. watching this saying, "I would never in. a million years want to do this." I just.
want you to show see this here. And. then, by the way, did you guys see the. card that he did? How fast it went 0 to. 60? Did you see that clip? >> One second. >> It went 0 to 16.81. seconds. Vinnie, you have to see that. It's insane. Go ahead and play this. clip. Go for it. >> Wow. >> Watch this again. This is not AI. >> sexy. [snorts]. Like, bro. Like, how is that? Like, how is.
that real? >> No, I'll tell you. You're telling me. that's real? >> That is real. >> That just happened. >> That just happened. There's an audience. there. That just And that's one of the. clips. I'm about to send a couple other. clips to the guys in the back. And the. best. Watch this. Watch this. Watch. this. Go. Play. Keep playing it. Watch. this. Watch. >> Oh, that music. Me and you in there are throwing up. horribly. >> You know what the question Tico kept. asking? Is there anybody in the car? Dylan kept asking, "Is there anybody in.
the car?" [clears throat] I'm like, "That's actually a pretty good. question." If somebody was in the car. So, this announcement comes out. So, I'm. guesstimating the Tesla stock today when. the market opens if it it already did. Can we look at how Tesla stock is doing, Tom? You think it's. >> real quick? I mean, I don't know. When. you do a launch like that, people have. to sit there and say, "Okay, it's up. Nothing crazy, less than a percent, but. it just started." So, we'll see what. happened with the announcement. >> Hey, go back to 5 Days real quick. >> Yep. There's the car taking off right. there at the end. >> So, go to the video. Go to the top left.
>> Go to the top left with Elon speaking. Is this the one where he says we had to. do this live because some of it may be. AI. Go ahead. Go for it. Watch this. >> You're going to see some crazy stuff. tonight. like. the we need an audience to prove that. it's not AI or SI. >> so you guys can tell people you saw it. with your eyes. >> because what you see with your eyes you. will not believe.
>> uh but you're going to see the results. of what happens when you have a. collaboration with the world's best car. company and the world's best rocket. company. [cheering] Do. >> you think he's slightly competitive? >> And this is this is the culmination of. uh incredible work by Tesla and SpaceX. engineers working closely together. >> to make something that you haven't seen. in any movie.
uh that uh better than any James Bond. car. You're going to see. >> you can pause it right there. Let me. show one more and then I'm going to come. to you for a. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, I just. >> Can you do me can you do me a favor? Uh, play the clip of Elon on Rogan. The. first time he's on there. Okay, this is. very important. This is the first time. he's on Rogan. They're having a. conversation. Elon's explaining to him. what he's building. Watch this clip. Go. for it. >> Put rocket thrusters on it. >> For real. >> He's laughing. He's thinking he's.
joking. >> Nothing. Uh, ultra high pressure. compressed air. >> 2018 cold gas thrusters. Now, do you. have to have air tanks or are they. sucking the air out of Okay. >> Yeah, I just have electric pump. >> Whoa. >> Pump it up to like 10,000 PSI. >> And how fast are we talking? >> 0 to 60. >> How fast do you want to go? [laughter]. >> Put rocket thrusters on. >> How fast do you want to go? >> Okay. So, Adam, thoughts on this? >> Okay. Uh, just a question. Like, do you. think this is shaping up to be a race. like uh like we have to win the flying.
car race because like uh we lost 4G, we. lost 5G with the trains, you know? I I don't know about business. I'm. asking you guys. >> What do you think, T? How do you What do. you think? That's a pretty good. [clears throat] point. >> Like China like China and also we have. to protect this IP. Yeah, I think. China's done better at at protecting. their patents. >> Oh, and stealing. >> R&D and RD. Yeah. Yeah. >> Tom, what do you think? >> Look, I just went to look to see if I. How do you get one? And it says by. invitation only. You know, there's two. levels of it. Yeah. But 5,000 down, 45. >> been invited. I got [laughter].
>> Yep. I was invited for two. You got one. or two? I uh. so basically um this is this is known as. a flagship car. Uh the hypercars, the. flagship cars, all the car companies do. it. But this happens to be exactly what. he said, a collaboration between the. world's best rocket company and the. world's best car company. And he's. putting together here what you saw. there. It worked. It was there were um. under the car there were things that.
were sucking and it was holding the car. down to the ground. Crazy. >> And that's when it went upside down. And. then when you see that it twirls, you'll. see out to the side there's like a. little puff. That is a that is a, as he. said, 10,000 PSI coal gas thruster. spraying to the side. And what that. does, it makes it rotate. It's the same. thing that's on the side of if you go. look at the old Apollo command module, these are the same things that's on the. side of the space shuttle, which are. these little jets on the side that cause. things to turn. And so everything you. saw here was real. I completely.
understood it. Yeah. You look over there. on the top left picture. Top left. picture. You see those little square. jets on the side? There's one point in. norths, outheast, west there on the side. of them. That's just what he DID ON A. FREAKING CAR ON EARTH. And so this is. like a hypercar flagship showing people. it goes up the ramp, sucks itself to the. ceiling, jumps off, the thruster fires, rotates it around, then the thrusters. fire down the same way that they land. the rocket by firing it in reverse and. it slows.
>> propulsive rockets that he has. The big. metal chopsticks come out and grab it. >> Yeah, >> it's it's the same principle. What you. saw him returning to Earth with the. rocket. >> Pat. >> returns that car to the ground. But but. my but my question is this is this is. this is his hyper car. He's got five. aces. Yeah. Five. >> Would you buy one? >> Would I buy one? Absolutely. >> Have you ever bought a Tesla before? >> Uh no I haven't. >> Have you ever bought a Tesla before? No. >> Okay. Obviously I'm not asking. >> Yeah, but I'm leaning towards it. I'm. leaning towards it. >> But hear me out. Would this make you.
want to buy one? I've never owned a. Tesla before in my life. Would this make. you say I want to buy one of these cars? >> It's a super car. It looks It looks. >> That's it. It's just I would. >> But guys, here's my question. >> Not the flying part. We're not going to. fly it. It's ridiculous. >> Well, that that's the question I want to. ask. That's the question I want to ask. him. Was this demonstration just to kind. of show the car but do all that cuz it. was. >> He said he doesn't know. He doesn't know. if he could do it. >> Yeah. That's what I was saying is I. think this was just a spectacle event to. show like look how cool this is to bring. eyeballs to the car cuz the car is going.
to go 368 miles an hour which by the way. I don't know if you've been in one of. these cars. Tom put me one of the uh. >> It's too dangerous. It's you're going to. snap your neck every single time. I. think this was a publicity thing which I. love for the vehicle. I don't think it's. going to do that. It's not going to flip. around. >> But but but aren't we like what do you. make of the fact that like we from what. I understand you guys are businessmen. So you know like 64 of I think 72. like crucial uh like races uh China has.
the advantage in. We only have eight I. believe out of those uh 72. like uh do. you think that this is like a crucial. kind of uh thing that we need to kind of. because in R&D it feels like we're. falling way back. Solar we lost. >> the trains they've built uh like like. supersonic trains thousands of miles of. them. California can't build like a 100. ft of it. >> Yeah, we know some screwed that up for. us. >> Well, no it's all the municipalities. they have and they every municipality. that's why Amtrak can't we don't have.
highspeed rail. It's like you have to. get approval each time you go to a a new. county or new municipality. It's just. like it's impossible. >> What do you think? Do Do you think it is. that important to have flying cars? You. think that's a race that's important to. win? >> I I don't know. I don't Now I'm asking. you guys and I don't see. >> I'm asking you. I want to know what you. think because you're asking a very good. question. >> I think I don't know. Elon Musk is. smarter than me. He has a trillion. >> That's not the question. I'll ask the. rest of you guys. Do you do you think. it's a big deal to be the first to come. up with the flying cars?
versus China. You mean? >> Yeah. Versus anybody? >> Look, I'll just back up a second and I'm. going to answer your question. We talk. about having a long-term vision. Clearly, Elon Musk has a long-term. vision. Everything I'm thinking about. with these flying cars, I'm just. thinking of the movie Back to the. Future. Flying cars, flying hoverboards. This is what's going on here. He has a. long-term vision. Connor said something. earlier. He goes, "Anything you see Elon. Mus do equate to this one thing. Is this. going to work on Mars?". >> Mars. >> And that's basically what he's thinking. There's one part in in the movie Back to.
the Future when he gets on there and. he's doing the um Johnny be good. and the crowd is like shocked and they. go he goes, "Listen, you guys might not. be ready for this, but your kids are. going to love your kids are going to. love it.". >> And that's the way I work at Elon. We. might not understand what he's doing. this year, this decade, but in 50 years. from now, a hundred years from now, when. Elon's not here, and his kids are. running the planet potentially, all. million of them, they're going to say, "Thank God did this and built all this.".
Now, I'll say this about China as much. It seems like you're maybe worried about. China. And that's fine, but there's a. lot of metrics where we're kicking their. ass. It seems like you're only focusing. on. >> Yeah. over in China and then they they. just sold his IP. >> So like. >> that's what China do. >> Yeah. And now they are beating us in. battery technology. They have. longerlasting. >> but there's a lot of things that we're. beating them in. It doesn't seem like. you're focusing on that at all. >> Uh we lost 4G. We lost 5G. >> You're only focusing on the losses. We. have a lot of W's. >> Uh I it looks like it's what 64 out of.
uh 72. I mean like it's it's made those. numbers up. >> Yeah. No, look, I mean it's like. according to uh what is it? University. GDP, our national strength, our national. security, they're a third party. dictatorship. >> Well, that Okay, so think of it this. way. I'm not advocating for it, but like. if you get uh a a grant to do research. in America, right? Um if your research. uh screws up, you lose your grant. In a. centralized economy, uh they have an. advantage because they can screw up 25. times and then on the 26th time get it.
right. So, I'm just saying there's an. inherent in terms of sex. >> They have students in our grant program. that are stealing the information and. getting it back there. >> And they have girls that are going to. sleep with open AI engineers instead of. sexy girls. >> I see the point you're making and you're. pointing out that oh, we're losing all. these races according to. >> we're losing. I'm I'm saying it's it's. trending the other way. >> You said that. You said there were. certain ones of them that we lost. >> That's what I read. I'm asking you guys, right? Well, let me ask you, how many of. those do you think are being compromised. by spies and things that have.
infiltrated the college system that have. infiltrated the grant system? And so to. say China is beating us here, here, here, here, and here. Yeah. Some of the. some of them they are, but some of them. they're over here stealing. >> and that's how it's going back. >> That's what happened with Tesla. Well, exactly right. Like went over to China, then they took his IP. >> That's exactly right. I got a great pair. of Jordans from them also. >> And so I just I saw this article They're. the ones with the stitching that doesn't. match cuz those are Vietnam. >> No, no, they they have they have great. ones. >> Until the Tesla rollster, there's only.
one car in the flying car market. Uh, and this. >> got to be China. >> This Well, look, look at this car, Pat. This is This is AF welcomes Tesla to the. electric flying car race by flying over. a Roadster video. >> Who is this? >> This is um AF. >> Where's the A L EF? I think this is. ours. This is This is American cuz I. asked I asked Chad GBT who's winning the. race, who's leading the car. It's and. they said you said a good thing about. us. It's us in China. >> That is the ugliest car in my life. >> Wait, by the way, [laughter]. hang on, guys. Guys, guys,
Pat, that's not a flying car. That's a. hovercraft. >> I know all about the show. >> Hang on. You know this. There's hover. There's hovercrafts. See it blowing. underneath. Hovercrafts that will take. you across the English Channel right. now. Big hovercraft. >> Let me let me let me show you. Let me. show you this. >> Like a foil. >> If the if there is a conversation about. innovation of what's going on. >> 66 out of 74. Sorry, I missed I didn't. say the right. >> Here's the part to look at. >> Oh, now it's five. Here's the part. Adam, let me Adam, hang tight, buddy. Hang tight. I'm here. >> So, from 2003 to 2007, China led,
according to this one report on. different uh items statistically in the. area of technology, according to an. Australian independent strategic policy. think tank. >> Yeah. >> China led in three, US led in 60. 03. to07. Then 19-23, China led in 57, US. led in seven. And then today, uh, the. latest numbers, what does it have here? 66 out of 74. And then even 69 out of. 74. Wow.
>> The latest data. And you look at the. China highspeed train versus California. China, they have 50,400 kilometers. US. has zero. And California one that they. approved in 2008. And Newsome said he. was going to build it. I don't know how. much money they gave him. 21 billion. No, much more than that. And nothing. ended up happening there in the state of. California. >> China could just destroy your farm, right? Like they could eminent domain to. anything. Yeah. Right. Like you can't do. it in but they could land in Minnesota. with pathogens to destroy your crops. >> Wait. No. I'm just saying if they could.
build thousands of miles of uh train. tracks. We have the technology, but they. could just like burn like dro like you. want to move to China. >> I'm just saying these are their inherent. This is why they've developed faster. You love China. I'm saying inherently. their system has made them develop. faster because they they don't have to. adhere to our laws. Why do you hate. America that doesn't have election? >> I don't hate America. I'm just looking. at the data. Right. I want America to. win. I love America. It's the best. country coming around. >> What do you mean? What do you think that. means? I hate America. I'm just saying.
look at the scoreboard and we got to get. we got to get bring our lead back. >> Sure. >> Right. We can't ignore the score. We. can't be down 100 zero and say we're. winning. >> Right. It's like. >> Go ahead, Pat. >> Thank you. No, no. by the way this is. actually very good point you have to. think about that to me when it is a it. is a real thing when you are competing. you have to sit there and think about. innovation being better and then knowing. >> the other part that Adam I had a guy on. the podcast a couple weeks ago the guy. that tweeted about anthropic I'm an. anthropic employee I quit today I don't.
know if you remember that guy Jacob Cox. >> he was here a few weeks ago and he said. >> at Tesla no Chinese national works at. Tesla you simply cannot. >> he said but at anthropic and not open AI. when he worked at both places. There are. a ton of Chinese nationals that work. there. So, guess what's one of the. things they do when they work there. >> Yeah. >> Whatever they learn from the interior, you know what the company's doing, they. simply send it back over to China. >> And matter of fact, there's a story that. came up and maybe we'll just go to the. story next because it kind of goes with. this.
>> Open AI employee accused of planting a. bug in company San Francisco. headquarters. Uh this is on page 10 if. you guys want to go to it. >> Yeah. Um, wow. >> Can you imagine you're working at a. company like this and they're putting a. bug in the office? I think. >> an open engineer has been fired and hit. with federal charges accusing him. planting a listening device in an. executive conference room at the tech. giant San Francisco headquarters. Open. AI said it turned its artificial. intelligence models into.
>> [ __ ] to identify 35-year-old uh Abdul. Ham Alan, a Saudi national. We used our. models to understand the device where it. had come from, identifying that such a. specific employee had planted a few days. earlier. The company said FBI director. Cash Battel alleged Alphaan was. attempting to secretly capture sensitive. communication about the company's super. intelligence technology. Personnel first. discovered the device wrapped in toilet. paper. On September 30th, a hidden. camera later captured Alphaan checking. behind the television where it was.
planted the same day he allegedly left a. bag in a printer room containing another. recording device. When he returned. asking about the missing items, he did. not mention it. Alphaan was arrested on. October 9th and did not enter a plea. If. convicted, he faces a maximum five uh. five years in prison and $250,000 fine. OpenAI said it has no indicators. He. assesss he access or infiltrated models, ways, source code, or customer data. Tom, your thoughts on this? >> The old wrapped in the toilet paper. trick. >> The old [laughter] banana in the.
tailpipe. >> It's so low. >> I'm not going to pop it a banana in the. tailpipe trick. Um, this is showing you. how how deep the espionage is going to. go. That's all it's showing you very. simply is that people can be paid and. you look at the level of it and if. anybody doesn't think that certain. models and certain things that AI is. doing especially the frontier models is. not a national security threat they're. not paying attention when I say national. security threat means if if these things. are this important why aren't we doing.
as Palmer Lucky has talked about is. quote protecting the hell out of the. stuff we're doing he's not just trying. to do outdo the defense industry He's. trying to protect what he's doing from. other defense contractors and from bad. people around the world. So, if this is. what's going on, and I yesterday I did a. couple uh of projects with Fable, it's. freaking crazy the stuff that's in. there. And it remembered like four. different projects I did previously and. it said, "Would you like to connect the.
findings that we had, these other two. things that you did approximately 2. months, 3 weeks, 14 days, and 10 seconds. ago?" And I'm like, "Oh crap, yes. As a. matter of fact, I would." and it's in. there. I think this is dangerous and I. think it shows that the frontier model. guys need to step up their game on. protecting their own internal staff and. and organizations. pharmaceuticals and defense contractors. Pat have to go to a lot of extents. Where's the IT oversight? Where where is.
the census on this stuff? You know. that's this is bad. Is it common for the. federal government like for our tax. dollars to protect uh private companies? Is that does that happen? I'm just. asking. >> Meaning what? Meaning for. >> if we have to like we have to have. troops outside of open AI, it's their. own they got to get their [ __ ] together. >> So you're saying the the Nash Patel has. no business and this is what you're. saying. >> I don't know. I don't know if there's a. precedent for that. Is there? Yeah, I I. think there is because if it's if you're.
leaking info, if you're leaking info to. somebody else within a company, that. itself is a crime in America that you're. going to go to the government and say, "Hey, this is what one of our guys is. doing." So that part you're protected as. a company. >> from the government or from a private uh. company, right? >> No, it's a law. You keep like if you if. you worked here. >> and you and I find out, Adam, you came. in here and you put a camera and you. left and we recorded you putting that. camera there, you're going to get. arrested. >> Really? If you do, you you want to try. it out. I don't know.
>> No, no. You're going to get arrested. So, there's compliance, there's. security. Okay. There's there's. compliance protection. But, but to me, Tom, you know, with the question Adam is. asking. >> How do you protect against it? >> Okay. Here it is. You know, they're. sending sexy girls to SF. They like they. had a meeting uh at OpenAI to like. they're like be careful of like sexy. Chinese girls. I swear to God because. they think they're going to honeypot the. engineers. These guys are these are the. biggest nerds in the world. True. They're going to they're going to these. guys are we're screwed. These guys are.
desperate. >> and after four minutes they're like wow. I'm doing great with this girl. They're. like how do your question your question. Adam let's say you and I did a Palmer. Lucky and we built a defense company. There are audits the defense department. come in audits on it audits on a lot of. things. So they do not pay to protect. us. But if we're building sensitive. stuff like missile guidance technology. and stuff that you really don't want bad. guys to get, we would have all kinds of. audits and people in our place. But they. come and go on an audit. They don't.
provide federal dollars. >> That's a defense contract. This is this. is a private company. You. >> open AI is a private company though. >> No, no, I'm not arguing with you. I'm. answering your question. You said, "Hey, has the federal government ever, >> you know?" Well, the answer is if this. is declared important, the federal. government need that's government. expenditure though, right? So, that's. why they're auditing it. Why? Like. honestly, like like they need to get. their [ __ ] together. >> But the government is using these. models. >> Well, honestly, first of all, I think.
this whole thing is terrifying. and the. the amount of people that have control. over it uh being like four people is. terrifying. But I don't think that we. should work for these companies. I think. these companies need to protect their. own uh interests. >> I don't know. Call me a libertarian. [laughter]. >> He's actually asking asking some decent. questions. To me, this is actually a. bigger story than we're even letting on. because it's like a multifaceted story. here. There there's a couple different. things here. There's an H-1B situation.
going on here. This is a Saudi national. If you told me there was intellectual. property theft going on, I first thing. I'd be thinking is China. Now we're now. Saudi trying to do something. It's a. Saudi national. So there's intellectual. property IP theft. There's potentially. some in intellectual terrorism going on. with Saudi national security. If you. were to tell me. >> that this company was hiring, did you. say that was open AI or would you say it. was uh the anthropic that is actively. hiring Chinese nationals? >> Open AI. >> Okay. What are you doing hiring these.
people? So, it's a multi conversation. about H-1B. Why are you hiring these. people, bringing them into the COUNTRY. WHEN YOU KNOW. >> THAT THEY'RE GOING TO STEAL the. >> They're trying to corner the market, right? >> Let me ask you this question. >> They're trying to have only three. companies. >> Yeah. Let me ask you this question. And. and by the way, a a part of that of them. wanting to use regulation to not allow. other people to come compete with them. so they can have a monopoly. >> Yes. >> A form of that this has been going on. for a long time. So when you're talking. about eliminating barrier to there's a.
part there. However, >> you know um when when you think about. the c can you go back to that story of. the the one that Adam brought up the the. New York Post story about the honeypot. story. Can you go to that? Look at this. Open AI's blunt warning to employees. about preserving company secrets. If. you're getting hit on, it's probably a. >> You're a nerd, bro. Nobody's hitting. >> They've been working their whole life to. be millionaires and now they can't even. get laid. >> So here's the question. So here's the. question for you. The question is the. following. Can you imagine a guy say, "Hey, you're not as hands handsome as.
you think it." If a girl says you're. hot, she's lying to you. You're ugly. Don't believe it. Right. >> Wait, Vinnie, if Pat told you that you. can't get laid, would you listen to him? >> What do you mean? >> No. No. He's He hasn't had that problem. his entire [laughter] life. He's kind of. gotten overlaid. We need to get him to. slow down a little bit. >> I can't. But uh we know he's a Miami. >> Stay with me here. Stay with me here. Easy. Stay with me here. So, [laughter]. when you when you think about this, Tom, here's the question. This is the. question. Do we have a history of doing that? Does. America have a history of sending spies.
to Russia or Iran or China? Do we have a. history of doing what these guys are. doing to us? >> I think all of the Western I think if. you were to look at the KGB, the CIA, MI6, and our friends in Israel, >> Mossad, >> Mossad, you know what you are going to. find? the the spy trickery dating sex. scandal leaderboard. >> Wow. >> You're going to find it, Pat. You're. going to find it. You're going to have.
Yeah, because to the point they have. more sophisticated ways they go after. it. Very sophisticated. It is not as. simple. >> Are you saying this because it's factual. or it's opinion? Like is there historic. James? >> No, I mean we can go a different. respondent. MI6 like you think about it. >> I'm I'm saying factual. Go look at Go. look at sexual compromises, dating. compromises, world spy organizations. like CAO and look at them. You're going. to find list of them. You're going to. find examples of what happened here and.
and things and divorced their wife and. had a second thing. You're going to find. them all up there. And it was MI6 spying. on us, spying on Israel. >> Got it. So Martha Peterson, American. spy, female spy in Moscow in the 70s. She was one of the first female case. officers to operate behind the iron. curtain. She worked in Moscow handling a. Soviet diplomatic source who supplied. American intelligence. >> Look at the CIA. >> But Peterson was not a documented honey. trap operative. So what I'm trying to. find out is have we used a honey trap.
operative ourselves? >> I think so. Take a look CIA. Pull up a. picture. Adam, we have it right here. Look at it. historically has you the CIA. has utilized operation involving. seduction and honey trap such as. operation midnight climax. Wow. >> 50s and 60s. >> WOW. YOU WOULD THINK THE CIA were. administered LSD. >> Wow. >> But but when is the last time US was. documented for doing this? This is. 50607. When is the last time they're not. document? >> You were asking if we ever did it. The. answer is yes. And now the Chinese are.
doing it over in in San Francisco. A a. beautiful Chinese girl comes up to do. you code Python or do you have a Python? It's like, oh my gosh, here we go. Tom, [laughter]. >> Tom, you're going blue. He's working. blue. Guy in his 30s here. You're. talking like that. One woman for life. Free speech. Uh, can tell like it is, can I can I make a different. distinction? Yeah, go for it. >> Because this is what it seems. >> There's a difference between a spy and. clandestine versus employees. Like, you.
don't go to China and see some guy named. Bill like, "Hey, what's going on?" like. you know you don't go to Iran and see. T-rone your friend that's serving in the. military or the MSAD the difference is. we're actually hiring companies when I. say we companies in in San Francisco or. wherever Silicon Valley are hiring these. foreign nationals to come in and. inviting them to steal stuff I I. guarantee if you go to a Chinese company. or a Iranian company or a Russian. company or North Korean company you're. not seeing Rick from accounting there so. there's a difference here they're coming.
into America working in our companies. we're infiltrating trading potentially, but like. we're not we're not getting hired in. their companies though. It's a big. difference. They want to come to. America. We have a congressman from. California that tried to run for. governor that resigned in disgrace. because of Fang Fang. So, but Fangfang. was a spy working for a company, was. she? >> Has there been a significant piece of. legislation to uh like regulate this.
industry? One. >> they're working. I can't think of one. They. >> What? What would you want to see? What. would you want to see? >> Maybe we should make them vet foreign. national like I I'm fully with that one. I I I do think. >> this is reckless. >> No, no, I'm fully with that. A part a. part of me, the more I was talking to. the guy, Jacob Cox, the more he was. telling me, he says he says, this is. what he said. He says, "These guys are. my friends." He says, "I'm uncomfortable. saying this, they're going to get upset. at me." I said, "What do you think needs. to happen to them?" He flat out said, "They can't work for these companies.
Their loyalty is not to America. Their. loyalty is to somebody else. >> Who are his friends? The foreign. nationals. The. >> the the foreign nationals are his. friends. These are people you going to. lunch with. Like these are people. >> Didn't he work there for like two weeks? >> No, he worked at there for two weeks, but he was at OpenAI for 3 years. Three. years. You're having lunch with these. people. Got it. So So. >> why do you think they're hired though? >> Do do you know why do you think who's. hired? >> Because they're better at computers. >> That's it. Yeah. You. >> Because we suck at teaching computers to. our guys. So they get people from China. getting cheaper living. That is a part. of the argument.
hired though, right? >> That is a part of the argument that Elon. makes because for Elon, Elon's got a. position on this that's a little bit. controversial with other. >> South Africa. >> I understand that. What I'm saying to. you is for Elon, he's saying the level. of advancement of some of these people. were not producing in America as fast as. some other places. So, I don't mind. hiring them. That's a controversial. position for some of the people, but. Elon privately wants to be able to hire. some of these brains to to work for the. company. Now at SpaceX, from my. understanding, Chinese nationals cannot.
work at SpaceX because apparently, and. if you can uh check this because. apparently. the government once you take money. Tesla, you know, space, then a Chinese. national cannot work there. If we do. have some there, that's a big threat. >> So then this goes down to the next. convers, this isn't even one of the. stories. If there was a foreign national. that was way better at his job than an. American, they were both interviewing. with you, your CEO, what do you do? >> Yeah. So, okay, let's process it. Let's. go through it. So, Adam, here's here's. how I would process it.
>> Yeah. >> Is. >> I joined the US Army. Okay. I was in the. army. >> Uh, but I was born and raised in Iran. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, if I was uh uh joined the. army, what level of secret clearance. would you give me day one? >> Uh I I don't know about. >> Well, just think just be logic. Don't. worry about you don't know any. You're. pretty smart. low. Why would you give me. low? >> Uh because why you want to be in the. army of America? >> I was in the US Army. >> You're such a suckup, dude. >> But but but the point is [laughter] you. logically wouldn't give me a highlevel. clearance for someone that was born in.
Iran. Okay. That's a logical move. >> And what year did you join the army? Put. in perspective. >> 1997. So I. >> Okay. Between uh the first and second. Iraq wars. >> Yeah. So, so, so when you go in, you you. have to like even when I hire somebody. in the company right now, >> if somebody comes, I'm like, let's just. say I recruit you from an enemy that. hates us. We have a massive uh uh, you. know, feud between the two of us, but. you were the director of finance. >> Uhhuh. >> And you come to me and let's just say. you were married to the guy's daughter. and there was a divorce. >> The boss. >> The boss.
>> You come to us. >> Maybe at the beginning, we have to be. careful what kind of intel we're sharing. with you. So I wonder I'm sure these. companies have certain level of security. on what they're doing but Tom when you. >> basically do you want the guy that is. better at his job or not cuz I hear the. Indian guys work work way harder at. >> if you ask me if you ask me for what. types of businesses. >> for for STEM careers science technology. engineering mathematics because they're. way ahead of education wise. >> I I don't know it limits a number of.
amount that you do is fine like if you. limit not an unlimit limited supply. because we got to get our guys to get. advanced and we got to get our jobs to. stay here where our kids are getting. better at these games get getting better. at these jobs but a part of level of uh. access to information there's no way in. the world you're getting a high level of. access I don't know what the level of. access is when some of these guys are. getting hired at these companies and. these companies that have this type of. technology like think about it what. companies Tom what companies this is to.
all of you what companies shouldn't. allow Chinese nationals and Saudi. nationals to work for them. >> industry. Be specific to industry in. America. >> Anything with vaccine. >> security. >> Oh, you're saying vaccines. >> Anything with has to do with medical. especially with co I don't want Chinese. So let's say that's your opinion. That's. one. What else? >> I I'm talking about high-end defense. >> Okay. I'm with you there. Like by the. way, Palmer Ly's company and I don't. want any Chinese nationals working for. And let's go to that company anyway.
>> What do they make? >> Well, let's get into it. Let's get into. it. So Palmer Ly's company. This is a. guy that built Oculus, sells Oculus, worth a couple billion dollars. 32 years. old, young guy, >> decides to start a military company. building drones. And you're like, "Wait, what? What is this guy doing building. military equipment and he does an. interview with a video showing the guys. what they're building? This is a drone. This is a this. This is a that." And. everybody is shell shocked that the. guy's building something like this. Let.
me get to the story. Androl is in talks. to sell insider shares. at $90 billion. valuation. Uh Andrew Industries is. allowing employees to sell shares as. part of a tender that s stands to value. the defense technology startup at. roughly $90 billion according to people. familiar with the situation. The tender. would be giving employees the chance to. sell shares at 9480 each with overall. size of the company capped at $1.3. billion. It opened on October 13 and is.
set to close November 9th. The. representative for Andro de declined to. comment on it. And was founded in 2017. by the billionaire Palmer Lucky and. supplies a range of AI powered products. for defense including unmanned fighter. aircraft and autonomy software. surveillance tool and augmented reality. helmets for the military which is sick. what he's doing with that. That's the. picture of one of the. >> What do we do? >> Let me let me read this. U its valuation. doubled to $61 billion in May uh funding. round. The company counts the US defense. department among its largest customers.
generated $2.2 billion in revenue. So. Tom and $90 billion valuation is it low? Is it high? Is it a dumb move if you're. able to get in there put $100,000 should. somebody entertain it? And would you. allow a Chinese national to work for a. company like this? >> Three [clears throat] questions in. order. Number one, I think this is a low. valuation. This is a uh basically a. venture class valuation. And what. they're doing is there's some people at. the company. They maybe they've been. there a few years and they want to take. a little bit of money off the table.
Maybe they want to try uh and buy a. house. Maybe they want to pay off. student loans. Whatever it is, Pat, they. want to take a little liquidity off. And. so people buy the insider shares. What. does that mean? Say, "Hey Vinnie, you. said you wanted to sell some. You've got. 100,000 shares. Would you like to sell. 10,000 shares at 20 bucks a share? That's 200 grand. Would you like to do. that?" "Yeah, I'd like to do that.". "Okay, great." Then you go to the. company that buys those Pat. So the. company doesn't get diluted. It's just. an outsider that now owns some of those. shares. So I think that that valuation.
even though in the venture world that's. usually a forward speculative forward. valuation, I think that's a little low. compared to where they're going and the. technology they're showing. So that's. number one. Number two, should Chinese. nationals be allowed to work there? Hell. no. They're working on stuff that is now. up at tier one of the level of weapons. that we have up there. Well, why do you. want to get a hold of one of my F-35. planes? Why do you want to get a hold of. a stealth fighter even if it's at the.
bottom of the ocean cuz it crashed off. San Diego? One did, right? And they were. trying to go down and get it. Why did. the Chinese want to get it? Cuz you want. to take it home, not copy it. You want. to build defense against it. What can. this do? Where do I have to go to be. better? So, I don't want any Chinese. nationals working there. So that was. your second question. And my third. question um that I have is just you know. is our government p moving fast enough. for the high-speed venture class speed. of a guys like Palmer Lucky so that we.
can be reaching out and encouraging them. to protect what they're building for us. >> What do what do you mean by that? Go a. little bit deeper on that. Is government. working fast enough? What does that. mean? >> Yeah. Palmer Ly's working so fast and. startups are working so fast. Is our. government working at that same pace? >> That's never going to happen. It's. never. Yeah. >> So, a government is always going to be a. step behind. >> But what's your point though? What where. you going with that? >> Well, that that means whoever is faster. than that can ex has a has a crevice to. ledge and exploit. But what what are. these things for? Like what like are.
they for like uh like. uh like the we give them to Ukraine? I. mean like what what are what are the. drones for? >> Well, you didn't hear about the. operation that US had with Ukraine on. August 15th. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Did you hear about that? >> So, but like what I'm saying is Did you. hear about that? >> What I'm saying is this is like we have. a massive industry in America that. requires. >> Did you Did you hear about So what. happened at the operation? >> Uh that they all crashed. >> No, no, no. There there was a test that. US did against Ukraine. >> on drones and guess who won the.
exercise? >> Oh, Ukraine did. >> Ukraine won the exercise. So US is like. >> But when are we going to fight? Like my. question is this. It just seems like. it's a stimulus into a week of. >> Wait, let me let me So you you you're. not worried about drones? >> No. If I really think that it this is. just like not defense spending is such a. massive racket. He said the F-35 it's. like every single aviation company just. got billions of dollars and it crashed. for years. I mean like these companies. require conflicts to be happening in. order to make money. They do and that's.
the issue. >> That's like if you look at Israel. Ukraine like we left Afghanistan and. like how are these companies going to. make money? People talk like we gave. Israel 23 billion. We gave uh Boeing, Lockheed, we gave uh uh uh all American. people went to them and then they and. then they sent him over to to So just. the question is is like. >> is that does that benefit the American. people? No. >> So pause pause right there. Let me ask. >> benefits this weird guy in a Hawaiian. shirt, but like I'm like. >> are you are you from the mindset.
>> the economy is bad and people are. unhappy? >> Adam, are you of the mindset of we. shouldn't invest in military companies. to prevent something in the future that. happens? It's half of what we invested. >> I didn't ask you whether we are or not. I'm asking you, should we or should we. not? That's a different question. >> Should we defund the military? >> No, not defund the military. I'm saying. no. >> You're criticizing what's the point of. building these military equipment? I'm. asking you, if you were somebody that's. running, would you be as interested in. strengthening our military? Yes or no?
>> I think if you're running on the on the. strength of this, uh, it doesn't earn. votes. It's bad politics. Forget about. votes. >> because in a material way it doesn't. improve people's lives. >> I'm not asking you about votes. Forget. about votes for. >> that's their politicians. They have to. >> what? But that's not what I'm asking. you. This is not about vote. None of us. here are running for anything. >> No, it's about people that lobby. >> What I'm asking you is if you had a. choice and you're wondering about the. security, would you see benefit in us. advancing our military with something. like this that Paul Muraki is doing? Do. you see a benefit in that? Is. >> what is the benefit to American people's.
lives? I'm asking. >> What is the benefit to American people's. lives? >> Yeah. By this type of What is the worst. thing that ever happened to you in your. life? >> Uh, whatever. My mother died. >> Okay. How painful was that? >> It was pretty bad. >> Pretty painful. >> Yeah. Really awful. >> Was was it was there financial. consequence? How old were you when that. happened? >> Uh, it was about 5 years ago. >> Five years ago. Okay. I'm sorry to hear. that. >> Six years ago. Yeah. >> Okay. Six years ago. Sorry for your. loss, but think about think about, you. know, yesterday I'm at the Dennis Prager. event. >> Yeah. >> Okay.
>> Okay. Dennis Prager two years ago on November. 12th, I want to say, you can correct me. on the date, November 11 or November. 12th, >> right after he does an interview with us. on the podcast. It's it's fairly right. Yeah, November 12th. >> On November 12th, he's on the second. floor. Typically, when he's on the. second floor, his wife's on down. downstairs in the kitchen making. breakfast and lunch for him. That's the. routine. She's never on the second. floor. >> Yeah. >> While he's on the second floor, he had. bought a new razor. He leaves the shower to go use his new.
razor. When he goes outside to use the. new razor, he takes it, he slips, hits. his head. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Two years ago. >> Instantly. >> Awful. Awful. >> He becomes a. >> paraplegic. >> Paraplegic. >> A quadriplegic. >> Quadroplegic. >> Yes. Quadripollegic. >> Yeah. >> Everything is gone. They told him, "Forget about it. You guys got to have a. plan to get this guy." Okay. >> Okay. So. unless you hear that story happening to. someone close to you, you don't think.
about it. Last night I come home, when I. come home, >> I go to Jen. The first thing I tell Jen. is. >> we just did our shower. >> and we have a goodiz shower. You know, family, all that stuff that we do. >> And the floor that we have is way too. slippery. I've never liked it. >> Super fancy. I don't give a [ __ ] how. fancy it is. It's too slippery. last. night. You know what the conversation. was with us? Hey, we got to figure out a. way to address this thing here because. it's too slippery and we got to fix it. Where am I going with this? There is.
naive. Why are we investing into this? Why do. we need to do this with drones? Let. Adam, you got to let me finish and I'm. going to come to you. >> Why are we doing this? And why are we. doing that? Why are we doing this? Do. you know what we've learned with war the. last three years? Here's what we've. learned with wars the last three years. You just said. >> the giant the giant like Russia. >> who everybody thought Russia was going. to eat. >> Ukraine and Zillinsky was going to get. destroyed. Zalinski had the best small.
drones that they would make for $2,000. and they can send and build half a. million of them. >> and send them into tankers and shut them. down. Send them into ships and shut them. down. Okay. >> Then we learned US goes against Iran and. guess what Iran builds that Russia was. using. Now that Russia buys from Iran, what what are those drone drones called. that Iran build? >> Shaveah drones. >> Shahid. >> They're known for that. >> Those two countries are not known for. being the. >> Well, this is where the point I'm. getting to you that what I'm trying to.
tell you is when you get to a point like. this, >> it's very honorable that a guy like Paul. Morucky and others are sitting there. saying while the naive people are like, "Why are we building military equipment? Why are we doing all this other stuff?". You're living in your small little La La. Land that don't know what the reality of. life is when the enemy wants to take you. out. And then when [ __ ] hits the fan, you know what you're going to be saying? Why don't we have more military. equipment? Why don't we have more. drones? Why don't we have better. equipment? No [ __ ] Sherlock. Because. you said, don't invest the money. So, nobody ever thinks about crisis until.
all of a sudden, boom, we're hit with. it. Now, you're saying all these where. were you? Where was the US military? Where was this? All these years we're. building into this kind of stuff. So to. me there is. >> why are we giving it to other countries. then? >> I didn't tell you about other countries. >> We're giving it to Ukraine and Israel. >> Those are two. But you isolate the issue. buddy. There's two different things. The. the one item is us. We need to be strong. ourselves. So to isolate that issue I. apply what Paul Lucky is doing. And by. the way I think I think this uh company. that you're seeing that's $90 billion.
valuation. >> I think in the next five years Yeah. Uh. I think Anderil has what it takes to be. a one and a half to2 and half trillion. dollar company in the next 5 years. >> Uh and I also think a lot of other. people are going to get into this space. uh developing this type of military. equipment because warfare has changed in. a massive way. >> Do they only sell to America or do they. sell to other countries too? >> That's a different conversation whether. they sell or not. I'm just asking. theoretically. >> I get what you're saying. That's a.
different conversation. If some of them. choose to sell it, it better be the. partners. The part where it becomes an. issue is when they sell it to an enemy. That's the part we don't want. >> So, can I ask you a question? Okay. We. left Afghanistan, right? It was the. longest war in American history, right? But like one benefit is is that there's. a massive industry that requires us. spending money in order to for them to. make money, right? The the like defense. industry, right? So, if we leave. Afghanistan like uh then what do we do? And it to me in my mind and I'm simple,
okay? you guys are you're you're numbers. guys. You're much smarter than me. Like. uh it benefits that industry if we have. people dying in different conflicts and. then we just keep sending them weapons. >> No one disagrees with you. >> So So but like here's my question. Like. >> but here's the part you have to realize. as a as a cynic, which you're a cynic. >> I'm not a cynic. >> You're saying that anytime we we could. uh the we could get be attacked. That's. cynical. >> That's that's not what I'm saying. What. I'm No, it's not cynical. That's called. preventative. That's called being that's. like I'm in insurance. I was in. insurance space for 25 years. You buy.
>> When's the last time America's been. attacked? Actually, genuinely, I'm. trying to think. Pearl Harbor, right? >> There's a reason why, >> but that's not against But that's a. plane. That's not There's a technology. Why aren't you attacked? Ask that. question. >> Yeah. >> Why are Why aren't you attacked? >> Uh, go ahead. >> Why isn't anybody invading? >> We're the richest country in the world. >> No. No. Who gives a [ __ ] A lot of. countries are the richest. They get. attacked. Dubai has a lot of money. >> We're also across a We're across an. ocean from everyone else. >> Why aren't we attacked? We're. geographically we have an advantage. because we're across the Pacific and the. and the. >> Okay, so that's why else you think we're.
not attacked. >> Uh because uh America's the richest and. most powerful country. Yeah. >> But a nuke less money. You think that's. why we're not. >> we get more nukes? We have nukes though, right? Why would why do we need these. little crappy little things? >> Your your your naivity of. >> Most people don't like their lives right. now. >> Your naivity way of thinking. >> That's why the Republicans are getting. wiped in the midterms. And guess what? >> Because it's the economy. It's just. people aren't happy. And that's why. Biden got wiped because the economy was. bad. >> It happens welldeserved. That's how. politics works. People vote with the gas.
prices. That doesn't mean it's always. right. People vote with gas prices. >> I don't think like it's a little bit. annoying if I find out my taxes are. going to Iron Man suits when like uh. people people kind of need like a lot of. other things in this country. The. economy sucks. >> Adam, you're doing a good job of of. >> No, I think I think it's a stimulus. package for an industry. That's what it. is. And it's inflating an already weak. economy. >> No, you're spinning back. You're doing. something very interesting. You're. You're making one point. >> Go ahead. No, no. Adam, I'm sorry I cut. you off. Yeah, but go ahead. >> I have a question for you. You said your. mother died six years ago. >> Yeah. Why? Why' you bring that?
>> Yeah, cuz I'm going to ask you, buddy. Okay. >> How did your mother die? >> Uh, go uh a ponte gloma. Break cancer. >> I'm sorry to hear that. It's in the. pond. Now, let's say. your mom was actually murdered by a. terrorist or even just a bad person. >> What are you talking about? >> I'm talking to your face about what. happened. My mom was murdered by a. terrorist. >> Let's say something like that. >> You don't think that that's possible? >> What are you talking about? >> I'm talking about your mom got murdered. >> Cuz you're if you'd listen. >> What's the last terrorist that's.
murdered like my uh mom's Jewish moms in. Las Vegas? What are you talking about? >> I'm talking about was my mom under. threat of a terrorist killing her. >> You're a comedian, right? >> Yeah. You're being funny, though. >> No, you I don't understand what you're. talking about. >> The ability to to think outside the box. >> It's just a crazy what you just dropped. >> Well, I'm just. >> I love your first name. But what I'm. saying is, god forbid something like. that happened to your mom. Don't you. think you would have a different. perspective on national security? What. Patrick is basically saying there's. something called weak and we're. inflating it with this [ __ ]. >> Why don't you just keep talking? How.
about How about that? >> You know I'm right. >> That's why you brought up the crazy. Maybe your mom had such a big headache. If you're conservatives, you should be. upset with this. You should be there's. two things. Except when it comes to one. strength, buddy. >> There's two things. Hang on. Hang on. >> Why didn't do go to the defense defense. department? >> There's two things. Yeah, >> hear me out. >> Yeah, >> we don't mind debate. That's why you're. invited. >> I know. I'm very passionate. >> We No, we invited you and we respect our. >> But what I will say is like I'm so. excited. That's why I'm doing it. >> I get that. Make it happen. Hang on. But.
if we're going allow the other person to. speak of and then we'll come we will. give you the time. Trust me, we enjoy. this. I'll take the time. I'm yours. Allow the others to speak and we'll come. to you. I want to hear your thoughts. So. Tom, what do you say to the argument. he's making? Well, first of all, um you're you're. you're kind of spinning and conflating. two things, and it's kind of a classic a. classic debate. I don't want money to go. for that. American people are starving. There's all these things American people. need. Yes, there are. There's a lot of. things American people need. They're not. getting from their government, and their.
government is screwing up a lot of. things that they do need. I get that. But this to be safer, defense has been a. deterrent. That's not a conservative. position. That's a historical fact. >> Defense has been a deterrent. Right. And. >> we have nukes already though. Like. that's why it's a deterrent. It's. >> Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a. minute. I have a car already. It's 10. years old. There's advancement. We're. going to upgrade it. No, you can't roll. your eyes at that. You know that's. correct. >> It's not as move the needle. >> Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You're a.
gamer. You're a gamer today. You have an. Alienware. No, my Alienware computer's. like 6 years old. I'm going to get. smoke. You know what I mean? >> So So nukes. Go to nukes. Okay. >> That's crazy. They should exist. They're. so scary. >> That's no problem. So, so that's the. position. >> Scary to who? >> But, but. >> you should be able to end life on Earth. It's crazy that. >> if you have nukes, if you have nukes, which we do today, it's too late. We. have it. Okay. So, that's gone. Okay. How many times have we used it in war? >> Uh, twice. >> Twice. Okay. How often is a weapon like. that used? Not that often. Yeah. Okay.
So, saying you have nukes, but you're. watching a war that's being won by. drones and we are weak in drones, don't. you think we need to elevate that part. of our game? I think that uh it's a very. logical question deterrent. The drones. would not be a deterrent against. American. >> attack. You would be amazed how much it. would be because nowadays if the six did. you watch a 60. >> Did you watch the 60-minute interview. this week with the director of secret. service? No. >> Okay. It's a pretty good interview. So. the guy is saying attacks uh in.
>> uh uh attacks on uh uh Can you pull up. the stats that he pulled up? Attacks are. up 25 to 26 by 41%. what he says attacks on the US, threats. on the US is up 41%. >> Then they asked him the question about. drones and his answer is. >> quite honestly we don't necessarily have. the best defense against it right now. and they're showing some of the. equipment that they have for drones but. we don't have that. You know what the. job of somebody that runs secret service. or the military is? They don't think.
like you do. >> They don't think like you do. That's. their their wiring is not like you. Their wiring is. >> we got a really big military. Their. wiring is how do I make as big of a. military as we have huge military. advances and we're behind. That's what. that is. Wars change and we're behind. Like Russia, you know, you know how many. nuclear bombs Russia has? >> 5,2,2,100. How scary is that? >> Is Ukraine scared? >> Well, >> why is Ukraine not afraid of Russia? >> They're getting some nice.
>> Why is Ukraine not afraid of Russia? Why. is Ukraine not afraid of Russia? Because. they're getting some nice blood. Nobody. uses nuclear weapons. And so we're. learning. >> Why are they there? >> Why is who there? >> So, you know, not to wipe us out cuz we. wipe you off. >> That's invention. That's something that. invention. It is scary. >> Wait. I. >> Why is a taser or a gun on the hip of a. cop? Uh cuz it's a police. >> Well, that's the first thing they use. >> No, no, just I'm just saying he's going. to arrest people. Well, and. >> what? >> He's a deterrent. Well, he's a cop, too. You don't want to do things.
>> Okay. Well, then what do you think the. military has? trans to a country. >> That's the naivity. >> Now we So you think that we should be. patrolling everywhere like a police? >> Oh, no. No. She She flipped the answer. That. >> I'm just ask You guys think I'm. debating. I'm really just inquisitive. more than anything. >> It's not debating as much as it is. annoying. Took your. >> No, no, but you guys are numbers, [laughter] guys, and I don't think you. buy this. I think you're just riding for. Trump right now. I. >> This has nothing to do with this. defense. If you're a conservative, if. you're a conservative, waste and is. should be your number one issue. We are. wasting.
>> I feel like you're trying to make 10. points in one. Oh, no. No. Listen, listen. You are. No, listen. It It is a. simple fact. >> Adam, what's your what's your outcome of. being here? No, no, hang on a second. What's your outcome of being here today? >> Fan experience. It's like I want to. imagine being honest with you. >> What's your outcome of being here today? >> Thrilling. I'm genuinely enjoying it so. much. >> You You just said you guys are all. Trump. What did you just say? You're all. What was Trump, right? Yeah. I think. it's because. >> Have you heard anybody here say you're. just writing for Obama or Biden or AOC? Have you heard us say that to you? >> No.
>> No. So, what are you doing? >> Because I'm not. cuz I I don't like. >> We have We have a very regular. conversation though. >> No, we have a very regular conversation. where we go through different issues. But for you, >> you go here and then you get cornered. You go here and then you get corn. You. go here. That's what you're doing. >> Defense. Listen, it's a massive. industry. They lobby politicians. They. have a a factory in their district. They. get a stimulus. >> Eisenhower, a Republican president said, "Be careful with the military-industrial. complex.". >> We've done this for so because now. you're advocating for. >> But you have you have one of two things. I'm asking. You still haven't answered.
My point is this hang. it is a stimulus to every single. you're not going to do this if I'm. talking to you. Let me ask you a. question. >> You have two choices. >> If you're a leader. >> Uhhuh. >> do you want to see innovation? >> They say that every time. >> If you want to see innovation in us. producing better military equipment. that's being used the last 3 years in. war or you're saying no, forget about. it. It's not a prior. It's not a top 10. list for me. >> I'll tell you what when I would want the. question. No, I'm answering you. I would. want it if I had a lot of stocks in.
military uh defense. >> But now you're being sarcastic. >> No, I mean it and you're not. I would. want it because I don't have stock in. Anderella and I want you. I'm not. But. I'm talking Don't play the game. Answer. the question, >> dude. I I don't I never do debates. >> Yes or no? Which of them is it? You have. a choice. >> The economy stinks. And I think that. that this and AI are artificially. propping it up right now. >> Okay. So So, so this part So to you is. we don't need to make better military. equipment. Let's not incentivize lucky. fear of a terrorist shooting your mom in. the head every day. It.
>> Do I fear? I don't. >> Do you think I should? >> The reason why. >> what terrorists, >> Adam, the reason why why don't you. though? >> Because I'm a people in the Middle East. do though. Why do other countries? >> Because we're not I'm saying in my life. I don't live in fear that I'm. >> Why though? Why don't you? That's an. honor. That's a privilege. >> No. No. Why don't you though? >> Is that your world? >> Answer the question. Why don't you worry. about it? >> Because are you out of the world? Like. that's not what happened. >> No, you're out of the world. >> Terrorists shoot people in the head. >> What countries have you What countries.
have you lived in for more than 3 years? >> Uh, America. >> Okay. >> I love it. >> What other places have you lived? What. other places have you lived? >> South Africa. Israel. >> Israel. Okay. Why do you think here? >> Yes. >> Why do you think you're so safe here and. you're not worried about it? >> Because South Africa is why are you. worried? Why are you not worried in. America that you're not going to. >> We have nukes and we have the biggest. economy. We have the biggest military. because of that. Every single time. there's an appropriation, they say, "What if you get killed and they spend. more money?". >> So, you're you're welcome. You're. welcome. You're welcome. You know, it's.
dirty. >> These are these are your Again, you. know, you're playing the game of two. things. >> I don't know. >> You're playing the game on, >> but you're a numbers guy. You You know. this, you know, you're you're funny. So, listen. You're a numbers guy. >> We can play sarcasm and have fun. It's. not sarcasm. >> That's that part. You still haven't. answered the question. >> What do I want? >> Why do you feel safe in America? >> Because we're the strongest country. >> No [ __ ] Sherlock. How did it happen? >> Why do we have to buy these gizmos for. people? >> Because you have to stay that way. It's. called only the paranoid survive. >> That's what they say every time. >> No, right now we have to like. >> Have you ever ran a business? Have you.
ever ran a business? >> Yes, I do. >> Do you have kids? >> You don't have kids yet, right? When you. do have kids, you know how you're going. to look at the world? >> I love this. By the way, >> are you going to have kids one day? >> Of course. >> I can't wait for it to happen. When it. happens, call me. I want to congratulate. you. But I can't wait to see if you have. a daughter and a son and how different. you look at the world. >> I'm hoping daughter, >> whatever it is. Okay, we're going to go. to Shane Gillis and and what's the one? The the abortion guy, the lady that had. a son and she got it aborted on Tik Tok. and got half a million likes. >> Someone had an abortion on Tik Tok.
>> Now we're having fun again. >> When that happens, >> can we all apologize to each other for. our argument? >> No, I don't. When that happens, when. that happens, >> I don't share your worldview. >> No, no, it's when it's not. It's fine. >> I don't think a terrorist is going to. shoot me in the head. I'm sorry. You. sound a little crazy saying that. You. sound hysterical. >> Where do you live? New York. Well, the. reason why you. >> My mom died from cancer. Maybe we should. fight cancer instead of a terrorist. shooting in the head. >> I'm sure your mom maybe died of a. headache. >> Your mom might have died of a headache. >> Brutal brutal one there. My mom died of.
a headache. >> You made about that? >> Yes. >> About her brain cancer. >> Yes. >> Pat, that's inapprop. There's no. timeout. That's inappropriate. He made a. joke about my mother's brain cancer on a. live stream right now. She died from a. headache. >> I don't know. You said your. >> I I didn't hear that. giving me I said. you're giving me a headache. >> Adam, no. >> I didn't hear that at all. >> Oh, you said that I I gave her a. headache. Not her brain cancer. >> Let's Let's move on. Let's move on with. the story. This. >> No, I think for this format,
>> you don't work for this format. >> No, no, no, no. That's that's a very. insulting thing. >> You don't work for this format. This. format for you. You're not even letting. this take place. Not annoying. We have a. lot of annoying people that are on. This. is not a left or right thing. We've had. a lot of people on the right will never. have on because they can't handle this. conversation. I love it. >> It's not you love it. Allow the format. to go. >> But that's not the format. >> I don't know what he said. I didn't hear. what he said. >> You're the You're the You're the in. charge. You got to deal with that. >> What did he say? >> He said, "My mother died of a brain uh. headache." Asked how. >> I said maybe we should solve cancer.
>> What happens if a terrorist attack. you're going to get in trouble? >> You're going to get in trouble. No. No. This is not good for you guys. It's not. good for Value Tamement. If that gets. out and unless I misheard it and then I. got out, dude, we're a live show. I know. you're going to hear that he made a joke. about brain cancer. >> Cut it up and react to it. >> I don't want to. I don't want to be part. of this world. I like. >> Sorry about your mom. I love Vinnie and. the rest of you guys are on short story. >> The next story. I'm going to get to the. next story here. Let's go to the next. story.
>> I don't really want to move on right. now. >> This format. >> You can go to the bathroom if you want. for a second. All right. Let me get the. next story. >> No, you should [ __ ] off. Next. >> Don't say that about my mom. >> Are you okay? You're getting emotional. >> You shouldn't say make a joke about. someone with brain cancer. You've been. joking this entire podcast. >> about someone's mother dying brave. >> I said, "How did your mom die?" Adam, Adam, you live be civilized. >> Okay. What would you like me to do, buddy? >> I'd like you to be like What would you. like me to do? >> I'd like you to be an adult and I'd like. you to take accountability. >> Okay. I'm sorry. >> That's [ __ ] [ __ ] up, man.
>> I'm sorry that I asked your mom. Like, I. can't believe like a human being. Okay. >> You didn't ask. No, you didn't ask. >> I asked how your mom died. >> Dude, you're going to get in trouble. Like, this is. >> Am I going to get in trouble? From who? >> If you said from who? I don't care, dude. >> Who? Adam who? >> Adam, that is it. >> I'm being normal and nice. I'm not being. >> No, you're not. >> Are you okay, young man? >> What I'm going to say is if I. misunderstood you, I apologize. >> Okay. >> But if you said what I understood. towards your mom, it seems like you're. being antagonistic. >> No, no, that is antisocial.
>> Adam, do you know do you know how his. dad died? >> How? >> How did your dad die? >> It was very tragic, but let's not even. go there. It's not It's fine. >> I wouldn't make a joke about joke about. your mom, buddy. He wouldn't joke about. that. >> That's not what happened. >> No, no, I'm I'm moving on. >> That's not what happened. >> Are you able to do this or you want to. leave? >> Me triggered. >> Are you able to do this or you want to. leave? Cuz I want to have I got eight. more stories to go through. >> I would come. Okay, go do your. >> Do you want to do this or you want to. move on? >> I'll move on. >> Okay. So, let's go to the next story. Next story I want to go to is Shane. Gillis.
>> So, Shane Gillis does a sketch on SNL, right? And he says, uh, can you go back. to the story and then we'll play the. clip. So, it says, "Everyone has waited. on the Shane Gillis monologue. controversy except SNL." Go for it. So, what did Shane Gillis say that pissed. everybody off? Go ahead. >> Is a fat guy. Especially New York. It's. a nightmare, dude. Everyone's It's just. the hottest gay guys you've ever seen. They're jacked and they look at me like, "Yeah, right. I know, dude. Also, I haven't been to. the gym in so long. I didn't know women.
just dress like whores." Now, [laughter]. look, I'm sorry. There's no other way to. describe I said, "Have you seen it?". I've seen it. The shorts. Have you seen. the shorts? Those neon. They're like the. only They're like artificial bait. colored. The wrinkles. The wrinkles go like. around the cheeks and all combined at. the butthole. [laughter]. And don't look. You're not allowed to. look. For real. Don't look cuz they are. filming. I'm I'm in the background of.
like 10 Tik Toks right now. >> [laughter]. >> And all all the equipment I haven't been. in the gym until I The equipment's. changed. It's all like kettle bells and. rubber bands and rubs. I'm not doing. kettle bells fat publicly. [laughter]. Yeah. I'd rather die. Okay. So, what. what's the issue here? What happened. with this, Adam? I'm going to come to. you first. >> He said what? >> Four. >> And so, that's why people are pissed.
>> Yeah. Cordell 7 and like uh. >> Vinnie, what happened here? >> Well, well, he said the girls that are. in the gym with those tight pants that. that you know accentuate the buttocks. and there's a like a gym shark or some. like all these girls pances and and I'm. going to be honest with you guys, you. guys are this I'm going to take a. completely different angle. I am. disgusted absolutely disgusted with. Shane Gillis and I'm going to say it out. loud. How dare he say stupid stuff like. that where these girls are just out. there trying to be bo body positive.
They're trying to work out like for like. Connor, can you show me in the gym? Guys, this is how when I'M IN THE GYM, LIKE THAT'S HOW that's what I wear. You. know why? I'm not a [ __ ] I just feel. more comfortable. The air conditioner is. better in my [laughter] gym. And I'm telling you right now, this is. how I work out. And shame on him for. trying to bring that up. But anyway, all. jokes aside, it's actually a real. picture, right? By the way, let's let's. Yeah, that's not a real picture, but uh. the future looks tight. Here's my thing. And Adam, I want to ask you guys, real.
talk. These are the same people that are. mad. Can you show that video of what. girls were doing? What he triggered? Uh. look, like so Pat, girls are playing his. video and look at how this girl and then. Yeah. Fast forward to like right when. she goes up to the camera. Look at how. mad Pat look at how mad she is. And then. go back to what she says. Listen, listen. to this. The way that you just spoke about women. says more about you than it does me. I'm. strong. I'm body confident. And I. shouldn't have to worry about being. objectified in the gym.
>> So what? >> It's by the way. >> What I'm trying to find out is a random. person. >> What is the big deal about. >> girls? Because Pat, in this day and age, these girls are dressing very. provocative in the gym. Let's just Can. we just be honest? Number one, call them. ex exhibitionist. Whatever. I don't even. think the right word was horror cuz what. does horror mean? that you're sleeping. around with other. >> but you could just see their butts cuz. they wear ta pants. >> Yeah, they weren't very tight pants. >> But but but but like what why does like. >> Why does any of this matter? >> It doesn't matter. But but here's the. thing. You know I love SNL. They didn't.
comment. They they were trying to act. ask Michael Shade the other day. He. avoided the question. It's a joke. And. you know what the crazy thing about this. is? If you don't like it, don't watch. it. NOBODY WAS SHOVING YOUR face in. front of the TV and go watch Shane. Gillis. Mind you, good for him. Do you. guys remember when he was casted on the. SNL and what happened? He did a podcast. making fun of Chinese people and they. freaking kicked him off. You know how. how they brought him back? >> They brought him back to host and this. is his second one and it's absolutely. insane. These are the same people that.
last week were talking crap about Sydney. Sweeney. They're like, "WHAT A [ __ ]. SHE'S DOING A COMMERCIAL." And now. they're like, "Oh my god, these girls. don't call us [ __ ] Shut up. Just shut. up." You want to laugh? >> Where you at? Where you at with this? Well, look, uh, there there's two things. going on. There's Shane Gillis doing his. comedy, and then there's the actual. situation that's going on at gyms. Shane. is all all he's doing is commenting on. what everybody has been talking about, what's going on at gyms for the last 5. years. You know, uh, Dave Chappelle once. did a skit where he go.
someone came up to a cop and he goes, "Excuse me, EXCUSE ME, MR. OFFICER. UH, I need your help." He goes, "Uh, excuse. Why would you think that I'm a police. officer? Just because I'm wearing this. outfit does not make me a police. officer." He's like, "You He's like, just because you're wearing the outfit. of A [ __ ] DOES NOT make you a whore.". He goes, "Yeah, I get it. But you do. realize how confusing this is. These. women are wearing wearing ridiculously. skintight risque outfits as if they.
don't know what they're doing. Ladies, you're not a victim. If you're showing. your booty cheeks out in a gym and. you're doing squats, what do you think. the average guy is going to do? We have. eyes. We have eyesightes. But what what. the women have a problem is. >> if it's a good-looking guy, you've seen. this before. They're like, "Oh, he's. hitting on me. That's nice." If it's a. guy that they're not attracted to, they're going to call sexual harassment. Ladies, you know exactly what you're. doing with these outfits and just. there's freedom of speech. You're not. fre You can freedom of press. You're not.
free of consequences for wearing. ridiculously tight clothes. Shane Gillis. is completely innocent of. >> So the girls are to blame. >> Comedian. >> What the I don't understand this take. either. The girls are to blame. It's. just a joke in a standup set. And girls, >> I'm with Shane Gillis. I have been. wearing yoga pants for years. >> By the way, to be clear, I'm throwing. women wearing whatever you want. But. when you wear whatever you want, you're. going to get some looks and some. comments. It's not like, "Oh my god, I. don't see you half naked." I mean, what. are we doing? There's just another like.
uh like like social like woke to. >> Are you a male feminist? >> What does that mean. >> exactly? I don't know. But are you. >> No, I think that this is this is a. nothing burger. >> I think it's a nothing burger and I. think that people have hoisted. comedians. Shane, I'll say this. Shane's. my friend. Shane got me my first. representation in the industry. unprompted. I never asked him. He just. text me. He said, "Do you want agents?". Like he's a what he's doing. He's People. are acting defending. I'm sorry. I'm. sorry. like you were yelling at each. other about uh should we buy defense.
technology with our tax dollars? >> Defend build it to prepare for. >> what I'm saying is this is a that's an. important conversation. This is like who. the hell cares. >> by way part of me agrees. It's like who. why is this such a big story? Why why. did. >> it's not a lot of noise. saying I can't believe that you're. objectifying me. Well then don't wear. those pants. >> No, it's other former it's other. celebrities are complaining. >> So let me get both sides. The one side. is, hey, if I want to wear these clothes. and go to the gym and do that, leave me.
alone. >> And then the guy is saying, but if. you're dressing like this, >> I'm going to look. >> Oh, what are you doing looking at me? Yeah. >> Is that kind. >> And And why do you think I'm Exactly. >> I'm just saying general. >> It's like a Can we go back to Vinnie's. gorgeous outfit? >> He looks not [laughter]. a screen. >> I got to go to the bathroom. Can I have. those tissues? >> But you're going to look at that. >> But did you see the picture? Let me get. to the next picture. All right, let me. get to the next story. Next story I want. to get into is.
>> the uh Eric Dtors commercial. So here's. Kimberly Gilfoil. >> who apparently a little weird guys on. what's going on here. So she is speaking. to this guy named Eric Dtors who a. couple years ago deer whatever you want. to call him Eric Deer. He comes out and. he has receipts and he shows that he. gave her $300,000 for speaking fee and. appearance fee including Freedom Fest. events, $50,000 for consulting fee, then. another $100,000. >> for consulting and uh up to a million.
dollar of uh if he can get uh if she can. get him on Tucker Carlson. He wanted to. be on Tucker Carlson if he was able to. pull it off. You know, she was going to. get apparently a million dollars. This. is what he's claiming. get access to. Attorney General Pam Bondi and then. arrange a meeting with IRS Commissioner. Billy Long. He wanted assistance. addressing a 2020 tax deduction dispute. that he has. Then get the DOJ to. investigate MetPro Group and then obtain. broader publicity for Danni victims. And.
last but not least, literally this is. one of the things Vinnie get his song. lyrics to Kid Rock. And if if he did. that, she was going to get a million. bucks. Well, she at the end in a text. message asks him, "Can you give me. $100,000 for me to pay off my American. Express balance?" Then the story comes. out with the new. press secretary, Katie, who was being. asked about Kimberly Gilfoil, and this.
is what she had to say. I don't know if. you guys got the clip on the back or. not. She says, you know, we appreciate. her for her service, but we have decided. to move on. Go forward. I have two. questions for you if you can. Uh, first. of all, on Kimberly Gilfoil, the Daily. Mail has been reporting on her since. last year. The president said yesterday. to reporters that he is considering. firing her. Do you know a timeline for. that? And also potentially who could be. on the short list to replace her if he. does. >> Uh, we have asked Ambassador Gilfoil to.
resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the. team and we wish her well. >> So that's that. And then the president. was asked about it. I don't know if you. have the president's clip about, >> you know, she was part of the family. I. don't know if you got the clip in the. back. I think you do. >> He was saying no. >> Yeah. Here's what he had to say. Go for. it. >> Yeah. We're not happy. >> We're not happy. >> You said Russia and Ukraine agreed to a. ceasefire, but both sides say they. >> Is this it or this is not it? >> Let's watch. >> No, she wasn't a member of my family. She uh I guess dated my son a long time.
ago, but she wasn't. No, she uh she went. to Greece. She was doing a good job, but. we didn't like what we were reading. So, >> okay. So, now this leads me to stories. now coming out of her releasing a burn. book with dirt on the president's. family, right? With all the stuff that. came out, which by the way, you know, that's pretty valuable with all the. information. There's a lot of people. that hate the family that would love to. have a story like this that comes out. Tom, when you hear a story like this,
how bad is this? How bad is the look? What do you think will happen next? So, first of all, there's one part in this. that's very normal and typical in. political circles, and that is um I. don't know this guy, and I'm not. criticizing him, but there are people. that make donations, and they're called. lobbyists on one level that says, "Hey, I need an audience with the president. We're going to donate 500 to the. re-election campaign. When this is over, we'd like an audience, and I want to. talk about X, not X, the uh social.
media. I want to talk about, you know, legislation in my industry. I want to. talk about awareness for these topics. that matter to my kind of company. So. people do that and there is a quid proc. in there for a future meeting. Maybe. something's not going to be signed. Maybe it's not going to be done, but. there's a quid proc for meetings. Hey, you know Vinnie, let me take you to. dinner. I'd like you to introduce me to. the owner of the comedy store. Right? This happens all the time. Will you do. that for me? And they buy you dinner. They whatever. So all of that goes on.
And so it seems kind of normal that a. person's going to be approaching an. insider and Kimberly Gilfoil was an. insider. Now the the part about song. lyrics becomes kind of funny, but set. that aside. So that first part doesn't. seem terribly crazy to me. The part that. is just odd is all of the stuff that's. coming out. I got pictures of credit. cards and pictures of guys junk and I. got this list and all that. That's like. uh you don't want that to go out there.
And by the way, there were stories out. there that said this was kind of why. Trump sent her to Greece to be. ambassador to give her something. meaningfully to do to see if she could. perform in that function and that be way. over there and out of the spotlight and. away from the American media. Now all. this comes out like this and now the. burn book, you know, I I looked at the. advances. I went down a list of uh. celebrity and political book and. advances over the last three years. her. rate card would be about two and a half.
to $3.5 million. When you look at all. the, you know what I'm talking about, you go down, look at all the advances. that have been paid. Let's just look at. the stock market for recent advances. paid on books. What are those numbers? She would get a two and a half. Well, she's not married to anybody. She had. somebody that she said she wanted them. to pay off her credit card bill. There's. enough text that we can evaluate this. It appears credible. So, and you're not. doing anything now. you're not married. to anybody now. She's going to need to. make a living or do something somehow.
stay in your. >> So then then this is what I this is what. I think. >> So that makes the book then I got a. couple things dangerous for them. But. Tom, let me ask you for her. So these. guys bought a house together in Jupiter. Okay. Don and her. They bought a 9.6 9.4. million house in Jupiter. I remember. when that announcement was made four. years ago, three years ago. >> So do you not think you're part of a. family? President Trump is a very. ligious guy before he became a. president, let alone when he became a. president. He's been he knows how to. deal with lawyers. Don't you think if. this family is known for having prenups.
when a relationship doesn't work out, they're going to have a contract in. place to say, "You better not speak.". You don't think that exists? And if it. does, can she still go around that and. ask the uh whatever the big uh uh. publishing firm to say, "If you're going. to help me cover for the legal fees, I'll give you some of the dirt." What. What do you What role you think that. plays? >> So, if the burn book is just a rumor, we. we'll know. We'll know shortly. And I'll. tell you how you can tell. if there's no. press release from Simon and Schustster. saying we are proud to work with. Kimberly Gilfoil and we are going to. publish the book my years with the.
Trumps or something right and uh talking. all about that if that never happens. then they get a phone call first from. the Trump attorneys quietly that said uh. you know there's there was kind of a. prenup here they were engaged we have a. prenup here we have non-disparagement. non-disclosure you put that book out I'm. going to take this I'm going to put a. letter on top of it from you know some. very very powerful people and you're not. going to do it. So if you want to pay. for a warehouse full of books that you. can't distribute, try me. And then the.
publisher goes, "Thanks for your call.". They go, "I don't know if we can do. that." They're going to sue her and. they're going to sue us and try to. injunct us. >> So if there's no announcement and no. book deal announced, then I would I. would conclude Tom would conclude, you. know what, there's probably a document. in there and somebody called the. publisher and said, "Yeah, you don't. want to do this.". >> Yeah. So, Adam, where you at? >> Well, do you know where the the word. burn book comes from? >> Mean Girls. >> It comes from the the movie Mean Girls. And and there there's going to be some.
Mean Girls. Kimberly Gilfoil has. By the. way, I'm not interested in reading the. book, but if she did write a book, it'd. be probably the most salacious, juiciest. book you've ever read. Why? She was. married to Gavin Newsome. >> That's where this whole story starts. >> Becomes a Fox News anchor. ends up. dating slash engaged to Don Jr. Now. she's in the Trump administration as the. ambassador. when when I went to the White House.
I've been there a few times. >> She was there. I'm like, "Oh, hey." She. goes, "Hey, what's going on?". >> She way over there. >> Very out there type person. To me, there's one of two things going to. happen. She's either going to find out. We're going to find out. Is she actually. loyal? Is she about that life or is she. just looking for a quick buck? Because. she she's loyal to the president. She'll. say, "Wow, I've been in this orbit for. over a decade. Let me stay loyal to my. boss, to the president of the United. States, or do I need a couple million. bucks? We're going to find out. I also. think this last point, what the hell is.
she going to say about Trump that we. don't already know? Grab him by the this. and this that story. He's already the. president. What's she going to do to. make it look worse? Everything's already. out there. >> You think Trump's worried about that? I. >> don't think he's worried about why she. get a job then. >> I don't think she junior. >> Why did she get a job? >> Yeah, >> but because they were engaged. >> Why did she Why would she get a job, though? Why do you think. >> it's your son's ex-girlfriend? >> If my dad hired my ex-girlfriend, I'd be. like, "What the hell is that?". >> Yeah, I agree with that. >> Yeah, >> she probably has something off.
>> You know, that's that's a good Here's. what I would tell you. >> Also, what does an ambassador do? >> Yeah. So, the so the position, this new. role that they play, remember what the. new 2024 strategy is versus what 2020. was, >> 2016 was 2016, he fired people left and. right. 2024 the strategy is hey just give him a. job like Mike is Waltz Mike Waltz. >> Mike Waltz. >> was the one with the signal messages. going out and you know in the meeting. what did he do you're an ambassador what. what job did he end up getting yeah US.
ambassador to United Nations so. ambassador so I think. >> I think it's like a job you give to not. have any noise for the administration. it's kind of like a you're the. ambassador to Greece go do that loyalty. that's what it is. >> enjoy Greece Imagine getting a crap. country. >> Yeah. I I I see meeting like this taking. place. I see meeting like this taking. place. Can you give me the lowest five. jobs we can give here? >> That is not a high decision-making job. Ambassador of Greece, offer it to her. Hey, we have announced she's going to be.
the I think that's the position you. play. >> Do do if the question is. >> do you think she has things to reveal. and talk about? I mean, what do you. >> Well, you know who I think this is on. this is not on Trump. It's on one. person. Don Don Jr. >> He was engaged. That's like saying, "Hey. Pat, >> can you hire my ex?" I think Adam made. up a decent point here. >> Can you hire my ex? Why would you ever. advocate for something like that? It's. only going to end foolish and stupid. We're going to see if she's actually a. proTrump person at the end of the day. My guess is she's actually going to be.
smart enough to stay loyal to Trump. >> She But guys, do like as if everybody. shouldn't have known she married Gavin. Newsome. No, no, I'm being dead. They. look sexy. That's. 5 years. Yeah, that was bad. >> They're both attractive people. No, 100%. But it's Gavin Newsome, the guy. that's sleeping with his best friend's. wife, and he's just a slime ball. But. but. what does America think of this? Liberals look at this and they go, "Ew, he her and then conservatives are like,
>> you know, it's a unifying picture. because it disgusts people on both sides. of the question for you. Um like uh Pat, if you become president, let's say they. change the constitution, you can run.". Pat, >> I'm listening. Yeah. >> Do I get Brazil? [laughter]. >> Yeah. I would give you I would give you. Catalina Island Catalina Island. >> I'd give you Catalina Island. >> Stick me with those [ __ ] wine. [laughter] of the wriggly. >> No. No. I want I want Epana. I went. Cardal. >> Yeah. >> Your wife will not let go to Brazil. I.
have to. The president wants me to. The. president and they only got one ticket. >> All right. Let's go to the next story. Next story is one of the biggest races. that everybody's following closely with. Tal Rico and Paxton. All of a sudden, this guy that just made flying cars. comes out and says, "Uh, I kind of want. to give some money to these guys." Well, Elon, how much money you want to give. them? >> I don't know. Maybe not a dollar or two. How about if I spend. >> 158 million dollars? It is not, but.
that's a lot. >> He donated $158 million to Senate. Republican super PAC. Contribution 75. million plus 83 million in September. Money was subsequently transferred to a. pack supporting Ken Paxton. Then Musk. also contributed 80 million to the. America pack during Q3. Total money in. the last few months is $238. million. There's one reason here. Where does Elon. Mus live? He's in Texas. So he dabbled. in in politics in 2024. We know that got. ugly with Trump and Doge, but he's in.
Texas. >> Can I ask you a question? This is the. question I want to ask. >> Have you seen Trump and Elon getting. cozy again recently? They missed each. other. [laughter]. >> Elon is actually showing respect by. calling it SI, super intelligence, not. even AI. >> But what I'm saying to you, you're. seeing that and you know what they're. starting to realize? What what do you. think they're starting? >> We're better together than apart. >> We need each other, buddy. >> And FYI, just. >> FYI, do you know how much money Elon. just saved Trump that he needed to use. from his for his pack to get a Ken. Paxton? >> Yeah. >> Not the most exciting candidate.
>> Yeah. to be able to go against Terico, which the left, this is a Obama-esque. type of a guy that they're excited. about, minus the scandal that the last. 10 days he was missing. Whatever thing. is the wife without the kids, where you at with I'm going to answer. your question directly because that's a. polite and professional thing to do. >> My apologies. Um, I wasn't talking to. you. Why would you think I'm talking to. you? I'm not You're very polite. Great. guy. >> You're so You're you're so insane. I. don't You're crazy. [laughter] You're.
triggered. You're triggering. >> He saved Trump and the RNC, the National. $100 million. >> That's exactly it. >> because that's your question. Now they. can use that elsewhere. >> Exactly. Exactly. And you know who. shared that with me, which was uh I want. to uh well, >> Brad Parcell. >> is who brought that up and I said, "What. a great point of what is going to happen. here." So this is this is a saving for. them of what's going on strategically. for the RNC. Okay, I actually wrote this.
down because I thought you guys would. like it. I had a guy on my show the. other day. Big hot shot. Like honestly, uh uh Chuck Lori, he made Two and a Half. Men, Big Bang Theory, Sheldon. He He's. never missed. Okay. He's He's on our. notes through syndication. He's He did. that speech against Trump. Yeah. But it. was like I don't I asked him about it. I. was like, "What the hell are you?" But. um I through syndication deals, massive. syndication deals, uh he's worth over a. billion, right? And so then I thought to. myself, Elon Musk has 1,000 [laughter].
1,000 times more. But okay, what? Let me. run the numbers for you because I I I. prepared this. He's the first guy he's. the first showrunner to have four shows. simultaneously top 20 ratings in in uh. television history. Okay, this guy's. like uh never had a bomb. Okay, >> billionaires make up. >> Great birthday. >> Amazing. Whose birthday yours? >> Number 18. We're born on the same day. >> Now you love this guy. It be it would be.
your dad. >> Okay. [laughter] Eli, I just realized. what date it is. >> What's that? >> It's your birthday. >> Your birthday's coming up here. >> No, my birthday's in two days. Let me. have plans for two more days. Adam, we. have plans. Okay. Sorry, guys. >> Billionaires make up approximately on. the line. Z42%. of the people on Earth. Okay. Trillionaires are approximately. 0.00000000001% 0000001.
guy% said. >> well. >> allegedly put most of. >> yes maybe but okay but yes there's only. one guy that's okay so like imagine this. Chuck Lori he made two and a half men he. would have to make 25,000 men [laughter]. to have. to have as much money as this guy. >> that's funny as that. >> just like think about it think about how. much money so to him $250 million. It's. Yeah. So, what are you saying though?
SpaceX and Tesla. >> No, no, but wait a minute. Go deeper. with that. Go deeper with that because. to me, >> he's the most powerful man on earth. >> It It is. And And I, you know, I said. this uh two weeks ago. I said, when I. started getting calls from different. chiefs of staff. >> trying to get on the good side of Elon. instead of Trump, I'm like, what what. are you what what are you talking about? this, you know, they would typically say. the president of the United States Yeah. >> is the, you know, most powerful man in. the world. No, not not not with the.
direction this is going. This guy's. building a flywheel, Vinnie, and a moat. that everybody needs him. This guy's got. moes on top of moes right now. Elon. Musk, you think that's a good thing or a. bad thing just for a government weaker. than individual. >> system? Let me tell you there there is a. >> I don't know. >> There is a No, listen. You do know your. opin you have an opinion on that. >> You think I do. You think I was a secret. communist. I'm not Hassan Pre. But but. you but but a point of it. A part of it.
is we said this two weeks ago. >> If this guy's an evil man, holy [ __ ]. he's going to have control of the world. If he is okay. >> So there is that part where you know now. Starlink is like, "Hey, some of you. countries I'll give it to you. Some of. you countries I don't give it to you.". You're a pretty powerful guy right. there. And hey, you know what? Verizon, AT&T, and uh T-Mobile, guess what? I'm. going to come after you. Day one, 10%. stock drops. Uh 800 meghertz, you know, company he's building, he bought for $8.
billion. They're about to announce they. got to finish the paperwork up and he's. going to go after the telephone service. business. This is a very, very powerful. guy. So now the Democrats are going to. sit there and the Republicans are going. to sit there and they have to realize. who do the future presidents report to, who do future world leaders need? >> Elon Mus. >> Elon Musk. This is this is this is a. very very real thing. So guess what be a. good time if there's ever been a time. where I've said and the percentage is. less than 5% Tom but if there's ever.
been a time where the left will want to. take money out of politics it's today. >> Of course. >> they have never wanted to. They were not. open to it. But if there's if there's. ever been a time where people on the. left are going to be like I think we. need to take all this political business. money the industry of politics money out. now I think could be sometime why all. the lobbyists everybody there's one guy. you got to go up against and he's got. more money than you. >> collectively he's got more money than.
you. >> should be able to buy politicians right. >> I I'm I'm with that democracy I fully. believe that I'm fully with that should. have never happened in the first place. that should have never happened in the. first place. Should have never happened. in the first place. Let me just make one. quick point on the citiz. Let me tell. you, you know who I'm going to call out. right now. >> Ken Paxton. >> If you can't win in Texas against James. Talifico with a newfound, look what I. got a $100 million from Elon 50 million. >> Then maybe you shouldn't be the. candidate, guys. >> What does that say about the.
>> Everything is working for you and not. against you. If you can't beat Terico. after he takes two weeks off with the. flu and he's going woke and weird in. Texas using mittens to eat beef, then. maybe you're not the guy you win, sir. But if you don't, you can only blame. yourself. >> But this is a bigger problem, I think, than that. Besides $150 million, this is. just this guy thought just Trump's. endorsement is going to make you win. Look at what's happening in Texas. I. showed him before the show. This the. city the the big super city Muslim city.
This are we talking about Texas? Hold. on. No, no, hold on. This is a bigger. issue. What the hell is happening with. with Texas? Like, and te like, by the. way, I'm not talking bashing Texans. They're not stupid people. Pat, Terico. is on camera multiple times. This this. whole town hall was a complete. contradiction of every single policy and. stance he's had. Can you play the Can. you play the the Save Act one? By the. way, this guy has been against the Save. Act forever. >> What's that? The Safe Act is for plain.
and simple. Show your ID to vote in the. United States, bro. And it's people like. Chris Cuomo that that are that was on. the podcast that was like, "No, I don't. think you you shouldn't need." IT'S. LIKE, "WHAT are you talking about?" And. he's like pro talerico as if he's cool. with the transgender stance, the no ID. stance, the open board. >> What does the cow tarico look like right. now? Can we see that? He's up there. >> It is squeezing. Uh if you guys can go. back to one week, go to one week, please. >> Yeah. >> Okay. He's coming down a little bit. >> Just a little bit. And then go to a. month. go to a month. >> Yeah.
>> Uh-huh. >> So, you can see it does look to not. looking good for Paxton. >> 30 million in there, by the way. That's. Elon's money out. But wait a minute. Elon's money just hit. >> Yeah, it just hit. >> Elon Money just hit. So, what's the. last? >> By the way, I I Guys, if you can you do. me a favor, pull up the couch of Pierre. PV against Carne Carney. >> That it can happen. Yeah, if you can. pull up the polier and you'll see the. point I'm trying to make. If you pull up.
the. >> Pierre uh that's a tough one, too. Ju. just try to find it here in a minute. while he's going. >> But there was a there was a clip of. Terico being asked a question by this. Catholic lady. Do do you have that one. or No. Can you find that one clip and. then and then go back and find. >> because he says and I'll set it up. He. claims that the Bible is a Bible is. silent on abortion. And look at what. this lady says. >> Both Christians and and the Bible is. silent on the issue of abortion. It. means you and I both have to look at at.
different scriptures to try to come to a. conclusion. >> Um and I just want to add that the Bible. is not silent on abortion. There is the. ten commandments, thou shalt not kill. And as Catholics, um we take great um. [applause] insult I guess sometimes when. it's described that way. Um but I also. want. >> And by the way, you see that this says. CNN and Jubilee. Go back to the first 5. seconds. Yeah. Go back to the first five. seconds if you can. >> Is this to change my mind? >> So this is if you look, pause the moment. it says change my mind. Pause. Pause. P. pause right there. Pause right there. All the way at the top that says change. my mind. Steven Crowder is suing CNN and.
Jubilee because he's had the patent on. change my mind since 2017. And that's. going to be a real lawsuit. You can't. you can't do that. Jubilee knows that. CNN knows that. Even though they do a. good job. Go for it. >> Announce we're maybe Jubilee has. generated all of their profit off of a. completely unoriginal idea. disguised it. and then the mask came off. Or maybe CNN. suggested, well, you know what? Change. my mind has more brand familiarity. because billions of people have seen the. meme and the video. So, so we don't. know. We need to find out who flagrantly.
disregarded the trademark, who. flagrantly plagiarized, who profited off. of it most, and for what degree of time. So, this. >> We can pause right there. So, whether. he's going to go or not, he has a right. to because they have the name. I will. tell you this, uh, I love what Jubilee. does. I hope they continue to do what. they do, but just you gota you got to be. careful with the name you're using. because that's out there. So that's. stuff that. >> he has the most valid case ever. He has. >> I know he of course he does. Of course. he does. But but even with that you.
you're seeing what's going on where a. CNN is going to a YouTube channel. >> Hey Jubilee, we kind of have this idea. Can you come and why don't we do the. idea what we done with Jubilee? I love. that that's taking place. >> That's just Steven Crowder's idea as. well. >> It's great. Have you done it yet or no? You have to go do it. >> I was going to do it, but but then they. uh it was uh Charlie Kirk happened and. then they. >> Oh, you you got to do it. Yeah, you like. you would do very well. >> But but I did. No, but no, actually this. is the only time I've ever like. sincerely like been like uh so like.
>> where were you going to go? >> But like I was I told them that I I. thought that uh bodybuilding uh culture. uh leads to toxic masculinity and I. wanted it to be 20 uh juice guys against. one wimp. I [laughter] would be like, >> and you were the jack girls don't really. care. They I think you're I think. fashion muscles are gay. I don't really. Yeah, but then just like roiding out on. me. It would have been hilarious. >> That would have been hilarious. >> But then like the Charlie Kirk thing. happened, I think they wanted to be more. serious. >> But to the to the to the point of of who. Telerico is and and I hope listen the.
150 million, I hope it hits and I hope. it works. But just go off of what he. said, God being non-binary, which he. talk he said, "Yeah, I said that. I was. Yeah, he said that. You have that clip. where he goes, I was just being. provocative." I think he nonviol watch. this. Watch this. >> What about um about God not being. defined by gender? >> When I said that, I was being. provocative and I want to admit that and. come clean about that. >> Who cares? [laughter]. >> No, but here No. Here's my guys are. clutch pro. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Time out.
Time out. How much have you heard and. listened to who he is and what he's what. his history is and what he said and now. how he's contradicting himself? >> He's like a Yeah, he's like. >> he says transgender medical procedures. for minors. Like I don't I don't care. No, no, hold on. Explain to me how you. think, I'm not saying you, a individual, a grown man, that it's cool for a. 9-year-old or a 12year-old to be the. consenting voice to say, "Yeah, I want. to chop my crotch off." Is. >> that what he wants? >> He's four transgendering my Hold on. For. minors, he wants No, no. Here's my. thing. Here's my thing. This is just.
transgender medical procedures. He voted. against Texas SB14, which restricted. puberty blockers, cross- sex hormones, and certain procedures for minors. Voting against it. Number one. Number. two said that there were six biological. sexes in 2001. >> Yeah, >> that's clear. Okay, that's that's Hold. on. He's batting two for two. Save. America Act. He said I He said it's it's. hurting. He said it's racist to ask. black people. You have that clip. Uh. Connor, it's racist. He was interviewing. a black gentleman was interviewing him. He says it is this not not this one, the.
the one of the actual individual. This. is where he he backtracks, but he was uh. speaking to a guy and he goes, "It's. racist to our black neighbors, basically. saying black people are too stupid to. show IDs." That's so so that's three for. three. And then he's cool for. transgender athletes, boys competing. with girls, bro. And the list goes on. and on. I just don't understand. Yeah, this is it right here. This is the save. act. >> We as human beings have the right to. shape our own destinies, and we do that. through the vote. And so many brave.
Americans, so many brave black Americans. have fought and died for that right. >> And so for politicians in Austin or in. Washington, as they're now doing with. the SAVE Act, >> um they are trying to rob our neighbors, particularly our black neighbors, of. those god-given black, you know what. that says? [laughter]. No. You know what that that means? Black. people are too stupid. That's what. Listen, >> he said there's probably a percentage of. black people in the voting, >> bro. white people that there there's. people that are in got in Alabama back. in the backwoods that don't even have a. driver's license.
>> There's probably some advantage that. that serves. >> Democrat Adam. I'm going to give you. your moment to shine. >> You think I'm debating, but I'm really. I'm actually asking a question. >> Here's a question they asked Tariq. I'll. ask it to you. Who's your favorite drag. queen? >> Who's my favorite drag queen? RuPaul. She's the most famous one. >> Okay. Other than her. >> I don't really know anything about drag. queen. >> That's the point. So what? >> He has a favorite. He goes, "Oh, my. favorite drag queen probably Alyssa. Edwards. Who cares? How do you know. names of drag queen? >> You guys are I don't I really don't care. about any of those guys. >> But that's my point. You need a better. one on this guy.
>> cuz he's doing a good job in Texas. You. need a better one. And he did good on. Rogan. That's why he's doing well right. now. I agree. He did well on Roan. >> Well, he's a great. >> That's why he's That's why he's leading. If you're trying to say that he wants to. give all the kids a transition, >> there's two things. There's two things. There is marketability. Super. marketable. Okay. >> Is he? >> Well, I think the left is using him. He's a star. He's everywhere. >> He's Christian and he's a progressive. gay Christian allegedly. But for. somebody on the left to use give me a. bigger superstar than this guy on the.
left, Abdul Al. What? What is the guy. for him? He's dealing with he's dealing. with Well, no, but he's dealing with No, no, he's dealing with the Muslim. Brotherhood ties with his. >> father-in-law and all this. It's just. nasty. >> Oh, you haven't seen these tweets in. Egypt. No, you haven't seen the tweets. of what they said on October 7th. This guy's full on tied to the muzzle. brother. You want to hear this clip? >> Oh, you haven't seen. >> I have his hat on. >> Oh, don't in a bubble, buddy. >> Let's stay on.
bubble over here. Bubble boy. >> So, here's the thing with Terico. The. part with Terico, the part with Terico. is Terico would have been a superstar in. California. >> Yeah. >> A superstar in New York, a superstar in. Illinois, a superstar in Michigan. He'd. be a superstar in. >> ultra blue states. >> Ultra blue state. >> But I will tell you if Taller Rico wins. in Texas, it's a massive massive. statement. >> Oh yeah. >> That the left can beat the right in.
Texas. We can beat him anywhere. So this. is the part where. >> if I'm a Democrat campaign guy. >> and say I'm one of the behind-the-scenes. power player like a Soros, not. necessarily the guys you see all the. time, the behind thes scenes type of. guys. If I'm one of those guys and I'm. looking, you know what it's like? Milwaukee beats the Dodgers, they sweep. them. You know what's one of the players. said in the interview? You know what one. of the guys said the in the interview? >> He said, >> "Health insurance.". >> He said, "Seriously, >> the fact that I watched Did Did the.
Dodgers sweep Milwaukee last year or. something like that?". >> He says, "When I saw the way the Dodgers. celebrated after they beat us, I never. forget that." You know what it was? >> They beat him like, "Yeah, you guys are. nobodyies. We're that dominant." and. they walked up. Oh my god. You know, like the typical Jubilee that. excitement. They got none of it. He. says, I could never take that away from. my mind on how they celebrated when they. beat us. There was no enthusiasm as if. we're nobody's. We couldn't wait to. paraphrasing kill them. That's me saying.
kill them. He didn't say kill them, but. you know what I'm saying. >> Kick their butt. >> So what's the point? >> Yeah. If I'm a Democrat. power player, dude, you you beat Paxton, Texas with. Elon Money and Trump, Adam, that is. cover of New York Times type of [ __ ] to. come out and say, "We got your best. state with all the money of Elon and. your Trump and MAGA." What do you have. to say about that now? So to me, I would. not be surprised if some of these guys,
the power player guys like Soros and. those guys are like, "Oh, really? Okay, let's put up $100 million to help out. Terico.". >> Aren't most elections just the economy. being good or bad? >> It is, but this is Texas. >> Yeah. >> This is very low favor. >> Kind of like this is like Hilton winning. in California. >> Things are expensive right now. >> You got to give the Democrats credit for. one thing. You know, you know how you. can say, you know, you can't teach an. old dog new tricks. the the the. Republicans are running old dogs and the.
Democrats are basically running these. young little tricks. You're right. The. Mamanis of the world, the Aladeds of the. world, the Talrios of the world, whereas. the Republicans are running these old. conservatives who are 60 plus Susan in. Maine. >> You're correct on one. >> Do better, get better candidates. You're. correct on on a couple things, but one. thing that you're very correct on that. stands out is how this is going to be. used as a victory flag for the rest of. what they're doing. There are really. four things that are coming into Taller. Rico uh Paxton race right now. Number.
one, you said they ran an old dude. The. enthusiasm for Paxton and a candidate. sucked even during the primaries where. it was Republicans and Republicans. There was no enthusiasm. There was no. intrigue. There was no battlecry. there. was no real real something some bright. light some torch he's going to carry. number one number two. >> the economy and the issues that you. pointed out do you know what the. intensity difference is uh for the. American voter specifically in the. Midwest right now between affordability.
and economy versus transabortion. everything else even the Iraq war it's. 2x in other words when somebody says the. econ the economy is my number one issue. it's 2x anything that's even Close. So. you could say Vinnie correctly. He said. this about trans. He said this about. God. You're correct. He said all those. things and there are voters that are. annoyed by those things that are with. Paxton. But Paxton's not enthusiastic. The intensity on the economy is 2x. Says.
the third thing is that the list doesn't. stick to him personally as much as it. does to the policies. He said this about. God. He said this this. He said this. this. He's not like a criminal or a. philanderer or a rapist or something. that you just. The last thing and this is something. that we need to help educate the. American people about. >> You ready for this? How important is a. senator versus a governor to the average.
American voter? >> Really important. >> FIVE TO ONE. >> Are you kidding me? Not even close. >> The governor, they think the governor is. like five to one important cuz he's our. guy here. Texas, they go every 5 years. to work. It also. >> correct. But you see the point. So when. they're looking, hey, Taler Rico could. end up being our senator. They're not. thinking about the Senate. They're not. thinking of Supreme Court justice rat, you know, getting, you know, confirmed. They're not thinking about the things. the Senate does. They're more worried. about, well, we need our governor just. like Florida needs to sus and senators.
The average American doesn't get as. revved up. It's 5x more intensity for. the governor. Put all that together and. you know what? The the left is going to. get a victory flag. I know it's a fake. flag. Pat knows it's a fake flag. You. know it's a fake flag, but they're gonna. wave it and it's going to look like a. very real flag. Yeah, there's definitely. everything because everything that comes. together I got I got a question for you. >> The economy is bad. So, it's a real. flag. >> I got a question for you. Yeah. Do you. think. >> who put Toro on the map? >> Roid.
>> Okay. >> Joe Rogan. >> Who's close friends with him that lives. in the same city he lives in? >> Elon Musk. >> Do you think Elon called and said, "What. are you doing?". >> Yeah, maybe. Who knows? >> I think I I hear what you're saying, but. I don't hope so. Who knows? >> I think Terica was already on the map. That's how he got onto Mean Rogan. amplified what he was already doing. But. if he was a nobody, he wouldn't have. been on. >> The great thing about Rogan is he'll. talk to anybody. And Rogan like. >> Yeah, but we had already been hearing. about Telerico before he got on the. Rogan. It was like, okay, obviously. >> not not at what are you not at that. level. There's a big difference between.
>> what's the thing that's because he's. Christian, right? He's like a. traditional Christian, but he's. progressive. That's his brand, right? So. the so the point here is. >> a leftist. >> the point here is. >> for the people for the people in Texas. >> who see this as a threat. This is one of. those things where it's a. >> if you had to compare all the races that. we have going on. Which one do you put. at the top? Election night. >> This one. It's Texas. >> I think this is the highest one out of. all. Yeah. And by the way, for those of. you guys uh that'll be joining us uh uh.
November 3rd on election night, on. Monday, I'm going to tell you who the. panelists are going to be. Those of you. guys that are members, you're going to. get a chance to meet the panelists. It's. going to be a ridiculous night. And on. Monday, this Monday, we're going to make. a very unique announcement of what else. is going to happen, of what other places. you're going to be able to watch PBD. podcast on election night. It's going to. be bonkers. If you're not a member yet, go to boardroomcigar lounge.com, become. a member. Put the link below. Go to. boardroomcigar lounge.com. It'll only be. members on that night. Everybody will.
need to go through the process before. you can be there because it's going to. be security cops. You'll see the whole. thing what we're doing. It's going to be. sick. I'm going to show you some of that. stuff on Monday as well. But let's go to. the next story. White House press. secretary. Okay. White House press. secretary Katie Zachariah. I don't want. to spend a lot of time on this, but I'm. going to spend a few minutes on this. She comes out and she does her day one. A lot of people said it wasn't the best. day one. Now, it's kind of hard to. follow up on Caroline Levit's uh you. know uh uh u shoes. It's not easy.
because she did such a good job. But she. came up, she did a day one. She got some. criticism on the fact that she wasn't. fully there when she was given some of. the answers. She broke the story on. what's going to happen with Kimberly. Gilfoil. And then stories. [clears throat] came up about attorney. uh uh whether you're a lawyer or an. attorney. And in one exchange when Trump. is there, I don't know if you have this. clip, they ask Trump about Katie whether. she's a lawyer or an attorney. And Trump. just turns around and says, "What are. you?" And then she answers it. If you if. you want to play this clip, go for it. I need audio.
>> I thought she was very good. >> Watch this. >> Watch. Did she pass the bar exam? She said. she's an attorney. Where did she pass. the bar exam? Which state? >> Did you tell us? >> Did she say China? >> That's no good. >> Mr. >> Look at the president. No. No. No. Do me. a favor. Go back 7 seconds. Go back 7. seconds. Look what Trump is doing. Okay. Go a little bit more. A little bit more. A little bit more before he turns.
around. Okay. Watch what he does. He. turns to her. >> Okay. Where he's saying, "You got to you. got to explain for yourself. >> Wait for this.". >> He's looking at her cuz he's like he's. hoping the team probably filtered it. out. >> Okay. But but right there, you know what. look that is on the president? That's a. skeptical look. That's bad for the wife. >> That's a skeptical look. And then. >> on top of that, forget everybody. attacking her. That's their job. They're. supposed to attack the press secret. It's not an easy job. I congratulated.
her. But it's a tough job to have. This. is not a job you want to, you know, you. go up to. You're going to have an easy. time. She's married. She's got four. kids. All this young kids got Oh, yeah. She's married with four kids and her. husband's, I think, in California taking. care of the kids. >> And so the deal was if you're a lawyer, you're a JD. You're not necessarily a. person that passed the bar exam. attorney passed a bar exam yesterday. Hannity grilled her on Fox. I don't have. the clip to show it. I think it's like. seven, eight minutes, so we're not going. to show the whole thing. But on Hannity. yesterday, he's like, "Well, what about. this and what about that and what about.
this?" And she was confronted now. >> Oh, they're done with her. >> That's the point. >> If it goes from here to Hannity and. Hannity is a friend. >> Yeah. >> I mean, this is kind of like, hey, maybe. this is Anthony Scaramucci 2.0. We got. to move on. >> Spicy. Real spicy. >> Yeah, maybe this is like Anthony Skirumi. 2.0. How long is this clip that you. have? I just want to show a snippet of. it. I don't want to show the whole Okay, play the clip. Go for it. >> I only three questions in 14 minutes. And what might you do a little. differently going forward? Uh, I can.
give you uh some unsolicited advice. That's never going to be a friendly room. to you. >> Yeah. So, what I what I would say is I. would absolutely. >> This isn't a clip. Don't worry about it. This isn't in one of the clips. in in. one of the clips he says, "Why would you. do that? Why did you do this? Why did. you call yourself this?" And then. there's a couple tweets that you. retweeted that claim that as if you're. the attorney. People know this because. you're not an attorney. And so Hannity. was pushing her and it's not like it was. a game. And the question now becomes,
Tom, what do you think happens next? Do. you think she makes it past Karamucci or. do you think it happens before? I have. my own opinions. I want to hear yours. >> Um, first of all, um, I I think she. handled this really poorly. uh you're. going into a new job, there has to be. clarity. You got to know that everyone's. going to ask every question. And her. first answer, oh, I uh it was in China. Her second answer, which I saw this. morning, was that no, I did not pass the. bar. And so she's sticking to what Pat.
quoted there is a correct uh definition. that when you say lawyer, you don't. always mean, by the way, and the key. thing is always, you don't always mean, you know, pass a bar exam. If you say. attorney, you know, attorney at law, you. pass the bar at uh exam under the. guidance and with your law license now. under the shingle of a law firm, a. licensed law firm. And so she came out. and said, "I did not pass it." But the. use of the word lawyer and attorney now.
having to split it, Pat, that's a bad. look. You're trying to split. Oh, lawyer. means maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Maybe. I was just giving informal legal opinion. from my position as having a law degree. You know, that's to me this was handled. really badly. Your job to talk to the. press and you put you put the president. in [laughter] a bad spot. >> Here's my question for you. >> Who's this on? >> Is this on the vetting team? >> Do you think the vetting team knew? >> Do you think the vetting team do you.
think she told the house? Do you think. No, but do you think the vetting team. was told, "I did pass my bar exam.". >> If she told, by the way, if you told the. vetting team, >> they're done. >> Now, you passed a bar exam. You lied. >> You lied. >> Oh, bro. We We just did an interview. with a guy a few months ago. >> who claimed he went to a very. prestigious school and during the. background check process, we went and. called the school. >> He went to. >> and he went never went to the school. And then we asked him on says, "I have. my I have my degree. I'll show it to you. guys on Monday.". >> It's in storage. >> It's in show it to us Tuesday, Wednesday. Oh my Wednesday, Thursday,
Friday. No, >> he never went to the school. He put on. the resume. We're not going to hire you. player. >> Yeah. So to me, >> yeah. >> One, how the hell did the vetting team. not know? Two, if you lie to the vetting. team, you're done. They're firing you in. no time. Three, I don't think they fire. her that quickly. I don't. >> because I don't think Trump wants. anybody but Scaramucci be the shortest. ever to have the time of being. >> She's already beat Scaramucci. And. >> what I'm trying to tell you is Trump. intentionally wants to keep Scaramucci. as the goat of that. course they have a. very strong beef to with each other and.
you know we've had Skuramu much on he's. a very smart guy himself the capable guy. >> probably more capable of her then but. that's a whole that's a personal. >> that's not even a comparison but all I'm. saying is intentionally. >> I think it's going to be like how many. days just make sure he stays as the goat. I think Trump is the vengeance. >> I think she has can I add one. >> very Trump that is Adam remember you. know who this is on. >> who. >> it's on the vetting process and the. vetting team it's not like they had two. weeks she stepped down like three months. ago they've had three months wants to to. basically flesh this out and figure out,
all right, who do we want representing? By the way, if you look at everyone that. he's hired to be the press secretary, it's all blonde attractive women. >> Sarah Hugaby Sanders was saying since he. gets distracted. >> since Katie Mcinaney, Caitlyn Mcaney, he's realizing I want some attractive. women up there. Sean Spicer Huckabe. think. about Sean. >> Well, that's a good business move. It's. like when you want to give people bad. news, have it be a beautiful blonde girl. easier for the public to swallow. But I.
mean, there's not that many good credit. though. >> Respect. Caroline Levit was. >> the goat. >> She was incredible in her. This girl is. happy. >> This girl is happy in her 20s. >> Then she'll be successful. >> But but Caroline Levit, respect to you. You're. >> Yeah, but like uh it's he's the CEO of. the White House. Like the buck stops. with him. It's it's embarrassing. president embarrassing to him. And this. lady sucks. You saw her on Hannity. You. saw her on Hannity. She sucks at talking.
to the media. >> So, how did she get this job? >> FYI, let me tell you. You know, if I'm. Trump, >> let me tell you, let me tell you what. would happen. Tommy, [snorts] you know. this. If I have a guy like Tom whom. >> he knows what I like and what I don't. like. >> Yeah. >> I'll empower him to make the decision. Right. Now say, "Tom, hire whoever you. think is going to be the good whatever. we need for this position.". >> Got a lot on the plate. >> He He does. He's got a lot on the plate. >> I can tell you, >> yeah,
>> this was not a decision that Trump went. very deep in and did his due diligence. on this. He entrusted somebody and I can. guarantee you, >> I can guarantee you there was one very. painful, horrible call for somebody that. took place. >> You do not f up like this with press. secretary. You do not do something like. this. And so, look, I mean, you know how. the news cycle is. By Monday, everybody. moved on. It's like, boom, we're going. Look at the Dodgers. Look at the this. >> But in reality, someone's going to get.
that phone call. >> Um, >> how does he do it in your mind? >> How does he do it? Trump. >> You're funny. >> How does he do it? Like, >> we need a lady. That's you guys. You. guys are. >> before it. No. How did How does he read. some of the Ride Act? Like, how does he. bring someone oneonone? >> Oh, he's a he's he doesn't hesitate. He. calls. He's a phone call guy. He calls. immediately and say, "Hey, >> you're done. >> What are you doing?". >> Yeah. >> What? I trusted you to get this vetting. What the What do we miss here on the. vetting process? What are we doing over. here? >> Oh, that's got to be bad. >> That's the call you want to see.
>> That's the call you want to see. >> I haven't made a show about it, >> Pat. This is This is my speculation. But. don't you think that he personally. selected this person? >> No. >> If you're going to be the person. representing me, >> doesn't make him look good. >> Really? >> No way. >> Okay. >> I don't think so. I'm telling you, I. don't think so. I don't think he. selected it. By the way, you know, Levit is kind of like she. listen [clears throat]. never ever follow up a Levit never. You. know, you know, you know what I actually.
think happened? >> Harold Miner, >> let me tell you what you just made me. think about. Let me tell you what I. think happened. Here's what I think. happened. >> Think. >> I think there were three more qualified. people that got the call who were way. more qualified than Katie to get the. call, but they all turned it down. He. said, "I don't want to follow that.". >> Because they don't want to follow. >> It's like following the best comedian. It's like I guarantee you that took. place. >> It's like following Vinnie when he come. to believe. I guarantee you that took. place and the other people are like, >> "You think they turned down the job?".
>> 100%. >> Really? Yeah. Trump Trump has rules like. that. I don't think you turn a job like. this. They keep No, no, no. You listen. Are you kidding me? How do you You. health mom can be out. It's one of. those. But. >> he likes like for vice president, you. pick a big position, though. >> It doesn't matter. You're not going to. take it after Levit. There's people that. are not going to take the job after. Levit. So, if we want to do one last. story, I'm going to give you guys the. options on the story cuz we got 8. minutes and then we got to wrap up. >> I got the Billy Crystal story. I got the. Metallica story. I got the uh let me see. here. I got the uh. >> the Billy Crystal story.
>> The Ford Hood shooter. I got the Ford. Hood shooter story. Or I got the 60. Minutes outlet being down 41%. >> Billy Crystal got. >> Go to the Billy Crystal. >> And then we got wrap up with Dennis. >> Yeah, I think that that. >> Let's just wrap up with Dennis. Well, that that you said you had some. thoughts. >> All right, let me go to this. Billy. Crystal reveals personal strategy, >> shattered his faith in God. >> Uh, this is Billy Crystal, which. [clears throat] the man from analyze. this and a bunch of different things. that he did, right? Such a great actor. You know, >> when Harry met Sally,
>> Billy Crystal admitted that a series of. >> I have what she's having. >> Billy Crystal admitted that you got to. let me read this. >> Sorry. [clears throat]. >> Billy Crystal admitted that a series of. personal tra tragedies have shaken his. faith. The comedian opened up with the. devastation of losing his home, a. lifetime of memories in the Palisad. wildfires, as well as the profound grief. he endured, with the death of a close. friend, Rob Reiner, which we all. remember when that happened. >> on October 11th with CBS Morning when. asked whether he still has conversations. with God, a topic he had previously. referenced. This is what he had to say.
Go for it. >> Still, he says the body blows of 2025. have changed his outlook a bit. [snorts]. >> In 700 Sundays, you had conversations. with God. Have you been talking to God. over these past couple years? No, cuz I. I don't trust them. >> Are you serious? >> Jeez. >> Yeah. Too many bad things have happened. The earth is in bad shape. This is a. weird, scary time. So, no, not anymore. >> Tom, I I think what's sad there is this.
is exactly the time you should trust. God. Um, the question on earth isn't. whether bad things happen to good people. or decent people or neutral people. The. puzzle of earth is when good things. happen to bad people. As long as you're. on earth, this is a broken place. This. is why all the world religions are. trying to find a way out. And. Christianity, Jesus Christ is that way. out. Uh, from a broken earth and to find. yourself. It's really, it it actually. hurts my soul because I enjoy his work.
I enjoy what I've seen of him. I. remember growing up and one of his early. series was this thing called Soap where. he portrayed a um a young little brother. in this thing and that's where I first. came encountered with the the genius of. of Billy Crystal and his his acting and. I I remember that so clearly and it's. just sad to see him saying I don't trust. God. It's not about trusting God. It's. about knowing God and just trusting that.
he's always going to be there and he's. there for you even when bad things. happen. It it makes me sad to see that. he has this perspective. I would hope. that there's somebody close to him to. put an arm around him and say, "Billy, this is the time when you do trust God.". You know, it's uh [clears throat] tough. about listening to this and Billy, you. know, a lot of times we have a. relationship with these actors. Like you. you'll go to a certain place, right, when you think about these actors, especially Billy Crystal being one of. the ones where we watch many times. Did. you know this Tom? You know when he said.
that was the first thing I thought about. who's watching out of 8 and a half. billion people in the world who's. watching him say that on the interview. You know who who the most important six. people that are watching this? His two. daughters and his four grandkids. >> Do you know how long Billy Crystal's. been married? You ready for a fun fact? >> Would you call him an A-lister? I think. he's an A-lister. >> Yeah. >> Billy Crystal's been married for 56. years. >> Good for you, Billy. >> 56 flipping years you've been married. Do you know how hard that is to be in. Hollywood famous funny like you and.
you're married for 56 years like a Paul. Newman. >> It's the Paul Newman record. >> That's the Paul Newman. You you stay. married for that long. So to me, you got. to be very careful. Yesterday we were. with Dennis Prager and he's given his. first public appearance since the. accident that happened November 12th. where he fell down and he became a. quadriplegic right after the incident. that took place to him. Right. And. yesterday he comes up in the uh Do you. have the picture to send him back? He. sent them a video of this is this is. when he just got on stage. >> This is how he got on stage yesterday.
It's a small little meeting. It's not a. lot of people. >> 200 300 people. >> That's him and his beautiful wife Sue. You can pause it right there. Okay. >> So, he's on stage and he starts talking. 30 minutes turns into almost an hour and. a half afterwards. We had a conversation. together because Dennis Prager to me, you know, there are certain people you. call great. But I remember the first. time I met Dennis Prager when I did a. Saving America show with KKLA KRLA is. what it was called in 2009 2010 and Bob. Hastings and Richard Kennedy are like. here's Dennis Prager you got to meet him. and Dennis Prager had a debate he did.
once with a guy named Frank Pastori the. late Frank Pastori who passed away he. was a Cincinnati Reds pitcher and they. had this conversation together but he. said a few things he says you know you. guys feel bad for me he says but you. know the moment I became a quadriplegic. you know what I realized he says I. realized there was another guy out there. named Charles Crowhammer Yeah. >> And he says Charles Crowutamemer, we. watch him on TV and we had no idea who. he was and we had no idea he had any. health issues, but he was a. quadriplegic. And he says, "And you know. the difference between me and if you. just go to his images, if you can go.
back and go to his images, he says, you. know the difference between me and. Charles Crowdhammer right there, top. right. Just type that picture on the top. right. Nobody would know." He says, "I. became a quadriplegic at 75." He said, "He became a quadriplegic at 20 years. old." after becoming a quadriplegic at. 20 years old, his career takes off and. never uses it as an excuse. He says. there's a few things I got to tell you. Uh, in the meeting, by the way, two. people's phones went off. I'm proud to. say the first person's phone that went. off was Tom Ellsworth, who in the middle.
of the meeting, he loves just having the. phone go off. It was it was a monumental. moment. Wasn't as bad. >> when he was speaking. Oh, it wasn't as. bad as the second, but it was still the. Tom set the tone for the second one. >> Yeah, Tom was there. >> He says something. He says, "You know, I. watch a lot of YouTube videos nowadays.". And he says, 'You know what's the most. thing I'm envious about? He says, people. who have hands. >> Oh yeah. >> To be able to touch the people that you. love and just use your hands. He says, 'I don't have that. He says, when this. happened to me, I had three choices. Death, depression, >> or perseverance. He says, I chose.
perseverance. He says, you know why? He. says, because I, his words, I don't want. to die. I love life. I don't want to. leave my loved ones. for many years. He. says, "I studied unjust suffering,". which kind of goes back to what Billy. Crystal was talking about. And I wrote. most of my conclusions on unjust. suffering 30 years ago on a book called. Happiness, right, that he wrote about. And he says, "I've always been more. interested in what God wants from me, not what I want from God." And he says, "The key to happiness, the mother of.
happiness is gratitude." He says, "I'm. always happy because I'm always grateful. for the life that I've given. Even now, he says, I believe that suffering is. real. I never asked myself why me since. my accident. You know what he said? Instead of asking why me, I constantly. ask myself prior to the accident, why. me? But he says, guess why I said why. me? God, why am I so lucky to have this. life? >> Wow. >> Why am I so lucky to have this life? And. he continues, expectations eliminate the.
most basic thing to happiness. The. secret to happiness is gratitude. All. grateful are uh all grateful people are. happy people and all unhappy people are. ungrateful. What an interesting thing to. say. Yeah, >> optimism. He goes into talking about. optimism. He says, "You cannot be. happy." Look at the words on what he. says here. This was my favorite part of. the whole thing. >> You cannot be happy if your primary. identity is a victim. >> If you view yourself as a victim, you. cannot be happy. But you know what he.
said in that sentence, Vinnie? Let me. read this one more time. Just please. listen to this, folks. This is the most. powerful part. He says you cannot be. happy if your primary identity is a. victim. Then he says even if you are a. victim. >> you cannot do that. What a powerful. thing. He says my identity he says my. identity as Zen is I'm not a victim. Of. all things I asked for when I was. conscious was iced coffee. He says the. moment I became conscious I'm like can I. get some iced coffee? And so his son had. three different drinks in the back. He.
kept giving him sips to drink. Water. Iced coffee. >> Patrick, what's happening to you. conservatives? This is a Hollywood. millionaire elite Billy Crystal. complaining about a mansion getting. burned down and now you're feeling bad. for him. Screw him. He people so many. people around the world have it so much. worse than him and he's act. in the news if Billy Crystal believes in. God or not. >> Part of it is a part of it is his. environment. So let me wrap it up with. this and then I'll come to a couple of. you guys and then we'll wrap up. He said. I would give anything to wheel myself. around.
>> He can't even do that cuz it's neck. down. I've spent most of the last two. years to breathe without a ventilator. and to regain my normal voice. And he. finally got it back. He says, I lost 80%. of my income while my expenses have. skyrocketed last two last two years. And. despite all of that, I refuse to call. myself a victim. On virtually any Sunday. morning, Sue would be downstairs. Except. for this morning, she was upstairs. If. she wasn't upstairs, she saw him fall. If she didn't see me fall, I would be. dead right now. And the only reason is. is because I wanted to try my new razor.
that I bought because I'm too impatient. to use a new toy that I bought. That's. it. He says it was impatience of me. wanting to use a new razor. And the last. thing he says, Vinnie, this is so. powerful. He says, you know what's the. one thing that we have as human beings? He says all we have is memories. Memories is everything to humans. You. lose your memories, you're gone. No. gratitude, no happiness. No memory, no. gratitude. And last but not least, the.
pandemic of adult children was those who. don't speak to their parents is how he. said this message. So for me with Billy. Crystal, dude, you've been married 56. years. You got two kids. You got four. grandkids. You're one of the most. decorated actors of all time. Sell the. next generation some gratitude. >> instead of this victim. Give me a. flipping break. >> Screw him. >> He could still see. millionaire. >> He could he has this vision. He could. walk. He could talk. You're going to. sit. By the way, he's still crazy rich.
>> Also, it's just this Hollywood ego that. we have to even know about his belief in. God. I haven't poor me cuz the fire is. God. Like, >> when's the last time? And a good point. because when's the last time you even. heard the name Billy Crystal? Be honest. >> City slickers. >> But but he but he's cemented in. >> No, absolutely. Absolutely. But but to think God's. sitting there looking at Billy Crystal. going, I'm going to ruin your whole. life. >> Adam, keep it short to a minute. I got. to wrap up. >> Well, I'll just say this. There wasn't a.
dry eye in the room yesterday. The fact. that this guy, you know, came on stage, quadripolgic, showed up and gave not. only a wise, monumental type speech, but. also with humor. The guy's the epitome. of a mench. Here's my prediction. he's. going to be the most powerful speaker in. America for the rest of his years. because he has the the the the the. knowhow and also the the the wisdom to. basically move America. But you know. what he said cuz there was a common. theme there. The left is ruining. America. He used at one point the.
leftists are unhappy because they're. ungrateful low lives. >> That's what he said. Yeah, he did. >> Ungrateful low lives. And then speaking. of God, Billy Crystal would do would be. very well served to have one. conversation with Dennis Prager. I. guarantee you because I went through my. atheist phase right there and it's just. not a good life. He said, "Don't feel. sorry for me." He said, "Am I lucky to. be alive or unlucky that I'm a. quadripollegic?" He can speak and still. move people with his words. >> He said this. He said, "This is the most. powerful thing for anybody that's that's.
interested." I think Tom, you got this. He said, "The relationship with God.". >> He says, "Everyone thinks like, you know. what? Why didn't God do this for me? I. God I God do this for me. Please God, pray to God." He goes, "No, no, no. It's. what does God expect from you? Are you. use are you using all your capabilities, all your skill sets to best serve the. Lord above and the people around you? If. you look at it that way, you'll. understand where God is." He said, "Do. not feel sorry for me. I've had an.
amazing life sitting as a quadrip. quadripollegic. Do not feel sorry for. me." So, I'm so grateful he is alive. I'm so grateful we had with him. And by. the way, you know what he said? I he. says, "You know, you're the last podcast. I did." I think it was the last podcast. that he did with us. >> And then he he said, "Hey, I'd like to. come back on a podcast.". >> Can you imagine? We. >> walk in this room. Can I just say this? We walk in this room. I mean, this is. his first speech in public. Pat walks. in. >> They literally like, it was a They Pat,
he wants to talk to you. He goes, "Patrick, >> first thing, I'm so proud of you. I have. to come on your podcast again." AND. WE'RE LIKE, "OH MY GOD, WHATEVER YOU. WANT." PRAGER, Aaron Prager. Uh, shout. out to you guys. Respect to Dennis. Prager. Incredible. What a man. >> Much love to Dennis, to Sue, to the son, to the grandson, Daniel. We met Daniel. and the daughter, granddaughter. DP3. It. was great. But anyways, Adam, great. having you on. Enjoy. We started a. little bit choppy, but we finished good. We appreciate that. And hopefully in the.
future, just remember flow. We can. debate all that stuff, but it's the flow. that matters. >> He says something very rude. Adam's. Adam, >> you could wait. You could apologize. right now. >> I've already apologized. >> You're being cowardly. No, no, no. You. know what I'm saying? >> You almost You're being cowardly. >> Adam, what's your YouTube? >> I want Adam to apologize. It's very. rude. >> Adam, do you want me to apologize again? >> No, you're not apologizing for what. happened. >> Give you a hug after the show. >> I don't want to [ __ ] hug you. >> We got to wrap up. Hey, Adam. The Adam. Freedelland show. The Adam Freedelland. show. We'll put the link below. Go.
support him. He does some very good. interviews with Newsome, Mark Cuban, a. lot of other guys. Uh, he's actually a. very, very good interview. You got to. get the power. [laughter] Very good job. God bless everybody. Have a good. weekend. Take care. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
