Could Micah Parsons Beat Tyrese Maxey 1-On-1?!

When you are in the league, you can't. share your opinion a lot about things. Do you feel like that is good. >> care about that. I tell I tell people. how it is. Like I tell you like [ __ ]. Skip Bayless. [ __ ] all them. Like. I don't give a [ __ ] I tell you how it. is. You suck. You suck. Your shoulder. don't work no more. Like. what what are we talking about here? >> [music].

>> This episode is brought to you by Intuit. [music] TurboTax. Hello world. This is me, Marco, and I'm. sitting here with my one and only. friend, Michael. Pier- Pearson. >> Piersons. Pearson. I used to call you a Persons. People. used to say that too? Yeah, Pearson, Persons. Mhm. Doesn't. make a difference. Yes, it does. Yeah. What name would you prefer? Like Sachi or Uno. Mhm. I got a tear on my leg if you need. to like see. [snorts].

All right, it's two. And that's the one that's the leg that. you uh No. No, this is my good leg. I. have a good leg. When you did get an. injury, did you cuss like you knew right. when it happened? Yeah, I knew right. away though. You said what was your cuss. word you said? I didn't say a cuss word. I just said I'm done. No, you didn't say. [ __ ] when it happened? Like [ __ ] No, I. just said damn. I'm done. Yeah. And just. laid down you sit down? No, I walked off. like a G. Oh, you did? Yeah. Damn, that's gangster. So, but it's different levels of getting. hurt. So, it's probably like stage two.

What you mean? Because you is if you. cuss that mean it was really really. hurt. Then yours is like like I'm done, but it's probably different levels of. like Yeah, like uh Cuz it's like a. rubber band, right? It pops. You can. feel it. No. Yeah, so I would say if you. break a bone, you probably like [ __ ]. Like with the guys who break like their. fibulas or tibulas, like and you and. your leg hanging out, those are the. [ __ ] Yeah. You be like, "Oh, fuck.". Like that [ __ ] Like that's how we.

killed it. That was bad. Yeah, yeah. That was. crazy. >> was like, "Oh god." Yeah. Yeah, like. that. Like when you see somebody's leg. not facing the right direction, you're. like, "God." Like Mhm. Other ones you just. like, "God damn, bro." [ __ ] Yeah. What. was your favorite team growing up? NFL. team. Uh Carolina Panthers. Carolina. Panthers. And what made you their. favorite team? Who was the quarterback. there? Cam Newton. Mhm. [music] Mhm. >> Cam Newton. Hey, you got to meet him? Y'all got to get a relationship? I don't. got a great relationship with Cam.

But he was like my hero growing up, for. sure. And then you get to meet him and. you're like, "Man, you really ain't. shit.". Right? All. Yeah, that's that's coming from me. Yeah. >> Yeah, Cam, you ain't [ __ ] Yeah. No, Cam was. >> be like that? Cam was cool. >> could be cool, but you still like ain't. [ __ ] It's just like brother terms. Like. I know you ain't [ __ ] but you're my. friend. Nah. But it's like different levels of [ __ ]. There is. >> [music]. >> All right. You know what? As I'm growing.

up in life, I realized that. >> can sit like this, too, if you want to. I can't. Oh. Ain't [ __ ] ain't [ __ ] Yeah. >> Yeah, like when you just say [ __ ]. >> would be a not [ __ ] move. See, I ain't. [ __ ] for saying that. Yeah. >> Cuz you can't do it. I mean, I can't do. it, but I can do it with my other leg. Yeah. But it's just you can't do both of. them. Nah, I can't. Yeah. Is that what you mean? >> what's crazy? I think what would be. >> [music]. >> like for people to like. know that you're a good person, you. should just be like, "You know what, Marco? I'mma bust you with $10,000. Give. it to me." And I'm like, "Wow, we should.

I react that? We cut this scene out.". But if you bless me. with some money, I think that would be. dope. And you know what's crazy? I'mma. bless somebody else with the money that. you gave me. Mhm. And then we. >> Who? Huh? >> Who would you give it to? Mhm, that's a. good question. Uh some guy out in San. Francisco. You don't believe me? I don't. Have you. ever stolen life? Yes. How was it? I got my ass whooped. Mhm. By your mama?

My pops. Yeah. What did you steal? So, I'll never forget this story. Uh my dad gave me, my brother, and. sister a dollar to go to the store. Mhm. As as we got back, he checked our bags. and he said, "The math ain't adding up." Mhm. "This is about $4 worth of stuff." Mhm. He was like, "Did you steal?" I was. like, "Yeah." Mhm. It just the dollar wasn't. enough. I wanted chips, Huggies, Slim. Jims, like the You know the beef sticks?

Like you from the hood, you know the. beef sticks. I wanted spicy beef sticks. I just didn't have enough for what I. wanted, so I stole chips. So, when you. that [music] did it wake you up to like, "I'll never steal again." or you or you. thought, "I'mma be a better stealer.". >> I stole again. Yeah, you became a better. stealer. >> Yeah. Yeah. Like, I'mma tell you a. story. This is where I I learned greed. from a early age. Mhm. It's okay. My. Yeah. My brother has already served his. time, >> [music]. >> so. he was a bad drug dealer. Mhm. He used. to have keep his cash in his drawer.

Mhm. And it was a bunch of cash. >> Yeah. But I was like, "If I take too much, he'll know." Yeah. Yeah. >> [music]. >> So, I used to take $20 at a time. Yeah. And eventually I I had a thousand. [music]. He just never knew. He never knew. No, cuz I used to just take 20 at a time. So, you got to think like, you be like, "I miscounted the 20 before." Mhm. I never take a hundred. I take five, tens, and twenties. Mhm. He. be like, "Mhm, 65? Was it 60? I don't. really give a Like, you know you got. money coming in." So, like that that's. where they build a RICO case on you.

Cuz I used to steal from Walmart, right? And I used to be like, "You know what? This ain't nothing." I used to steal. little things and then it was like, "Man, it don't matter." But then they. caught me and I got to a thousand. dollars and they sit me down and they. was like, "This is you. This is you. This is you." And then that's when they. was like, "This is where I had to. snitch.". I ain't no snitch. And I was like, I. don't know who that is. The whole time they was like, you're the. only one [ __ ] in this video. And I. was just like, You know what? I actually. got a funny story about some [ __ ] like. that. Mhm. What you do? >> [music].

>> All right, so look, I'll never forget. high school, right? All my friends know. this story. >> [music]. >> There was this kid, I'm not even going. to say his name. But uh. He used like [music]. He used to come to like lunch take Mind. you, I'm free or reduced lunch. What. does that mean? Like that means we broke. Okay. Free or. reduced lunch like. >> I didn't know what that was called. Uh. what do you call it? What would that be. called? Free or reduced? Break that up. Free or reduced? >> Free or reduced. Break that up. >> Like so either you're getting free lunch. or your lunch is 40 cent. Yeah. Okay, you had to punch in a lunch code.

>> Yeah. Okay. So uh he used to come to the. table and I like that means you just get. one entree, one milk, and like one fruit or something like. that. Like very simple base lunch. >> [music]. >> This [ __ ] used to come to the. lunch table every day with two. lemonades, two lunches, three, four. cookies, two bags of chips. I'm like, god damn. Like you're spending. like 15 to a dub every day. Like how you. doing that? Like Your parents rich or. something, my boy? Like You asked him.

that or you was thinking that? >> I asked him that like [ __ ] a lot. Yeah. He like, honestly, bro, I get my lunch. and I just walk out. Uh-huh. I was like, don't pick The people won't never say. nothing to you? Like I seen him for. months. Yeah. So I was like, one day I. was real hungry. I was like, man, [ __ ]. this. Like Mhm. I got to try. I'm going. to encourage. I went in there. I was like, all right, today's the day. Like I prepped it. I was like, I'm going. to take this, this, this, and walk out. I did it. It worked. Mhm. And you kept doing it? I did it for the.

whole week. And then By that Friday, >> [music]. >> they said, "Sir, did you pay for that?". Uh-huh. He never got caught. Uh-huh. I. said, "Oh, y'all racist." Uh-huh. Y'all. don't want my black ass. Hell yeah. >> All you did All you snitched. I I I. Yeah. [laughter] Hold on. Hey, but I didn't like outright snitch, though. I didn't drop names. So, what I. did was when the principal uh called me. to office, I said, "Was there not nobody else in that. video? Uh-huh. I'm the only one you.

saw?". >> Yeah. And that's the question. That's the. question. Did you see black or did you. see black and white? Cuz uh it'd be hated if I had to you. know. You did what was right. Yeah, cuz I was. like, "Yeah, I'm the only one you saw?". He's like, "I mean, we can go back and. look." I was like, "Yeah, cuz it's. looking pretty racist right now, buddy.". So, did he get caught, too? Yeah, he was. in there with me. But, I was like, "Hey, I didn't outright snitch, you feel me?". I just So, did he get caught, too? Yeah, he was in there with me. But, I was. like, "Hey, I didn't outright snitch, you feel me?" I just I just had to drop. it like, "I'm the only one you saw? I'm.

the only black person? Like, I'm the. only one? Are you sure?" And I got a. familiar story with yours because we had. lunch codes and there was a girl named. Jessica and she had twin brothers named. Jesse and James. And Jessica used to. have all this like all the fruits and. all that. And I said, "You know what? I. need to get some more [music] food." So, that was my first white girl. So, everybody was like, "What are you doing. with a white girl?" And I'm like, "Man, I love her." But, whole time I'm trying. to get some food. So, she used to share. her lunch with me and that was just the. way that I got it. I got it like in a.

better way. Yeah. So, I didn't have to steal. You know how. I wasn't proud of it. >> Shout out to you, Jessica. Hopefully she's still alive. >> man, You just do anything. Yeah. Yeah. And you know, I was growing you know, as. a freshman I was like 6'2" 220. [music]. And sometimes you so hungry, you would. get traded. You would just leave. somebody. You just go somewhere new and just go. start all all the way over when you. hungry. Yeah. >> Just get traded. Just get [ __ ] the.

family. Yeah. [ __ ] what we built. Yeah. Just leave. I'm just damn. I couldn't. imagine nobody doing that to me. Like. I'm building a franchise and I have a. great person in my life and they say I'm. hungry, I'm gone. [ __ ] this. >> I'm hungry. Yeah. Hey, you got to do what's best for you. Uh. >> Or even 5 years. >> I'll be graduated in culinary school and. uh coaching high school kids. Mhm. Do you feel like you got the energy of a. mean person sometimes? Like you come off. mean, but you really nice. People judge. you off of your energy. Uh yeah, like I. just feel like. >> [music]. >> a lot of people just be trying to play. in my face, like Mhm. Like [ __ ].

come up to you and be like, "Yo, did you know you my favorite. player?" No, I didn't know that, bro. >> Mhm. But, like, what am I What am I supposed. to say? Like, and then like like, [music] "Can I. get a picture?". Like, bro, ask me how my day is. Like. >> Like, so when I when I walk past I'm. like, bro, cuz the first thing you like. >> [music]. >> you're telling me something I don't. know. Yeah. And then you're asking me. for something of my time. Mhm. Or like. >> [music]. >> you know, I could be at dinner. "Can you. sign this?" Damn, bro, can I finish my.

pasta? Like. >> Yeah. The pasta. [music] Yeah. Pasta and. even at the airport sometimes. You go to. the airport? Yeah, bro, yeah. The. airport is like and we and granted, we. appreciate all the love we get, but. sometimes we have to be mindful because. we don't know if we lost a grandma, we. don't know if we lost an auntie, we. don't know if we just Have you ever. farted and [ __ ] a little bit? Yeah. So, you don't know if he sharted and he's. trying to go to the bathroom. You just. never know what people go through, but. it's okay to ask. >> And sometimes like what I really get. turned off with is like your camera is.

already in my face, so you're not even. really asking me to like respect my. boundary. Like. >> Mhm. you're asking me and telling me at the. same time. >> Right. >> Like, you finna take this selfie. >> [music]. >> That's right. >> what? Right. Like that, right? It's crazy. Crazy. Yeah. [music]. And that's what people just don't We. have to slow down and it's not it's no. rules how to treat celebrities or famous. people. That's the thing. >> Yeah, and then like some people just. feel like they could come up and touch. you. Like, I had some dude yesterday. like like, come here. Like, this was.

crazy. >> Yeah, yeah. He was like he was like, "Hey, Mike, [music]. Yeah. can I get a selfie?" Yeah. >> And then like as I walked away he was. like, no, like as I walked away he did. this to my back. Like Yeah. I said, "Why did he just touch me like. that?". >> Right. But if I touch somebody Lawsuit. you feel me? Like, I just feel like that. we be thrown off balance. >> we are equal, but sometimes we get. treated differently. Yeah. Exactly. But the good thing about you is that you. know how to get past that and you know. how to just be like, "All right, I'm. going to be cool.".

Because your energy is good in the room. You treat everybody right. You come in. Mhm. You know what I'm saying? Even on. the injury for you to even show up. So, I thank you for coming through with. that. How was your weekend going? It was. good. Pro Bowl went good. We won. Um you. know, blessed family always out here. Did you cry? Hey, when's the last time. you cried? When I got injured. Oh, so it. did hurt real bad. Um I would I didn't I didn't cry because. it hurt. I cried because. like. I felt like I worked so hard and it was.

all gone. Mhm. It's not gone. You just wanted to. be there. >> yeah. No. No, like I'm talking about. like the season. Like the season I was. having. I was having a great year. I was, you know, our team was getting. ready to go to playoffs and like. I wanted really bad to like win for the. organization. Myself. and my teammates. Yeah. And like I just. knew it was over. Like damn. And I couldn't control it. Mhm.

But this time you get to sit back and. you get to study more. You get to learn. more as well. So, sometimes it's the. setback for the major comeback. Yeah. It's delayed, not denial. Yeah. I don't. get that one. What that mean? It's basically saying like. you know. God's preparing me for something greater. than I what I thought I was going to do. this year. Mhm. So, he just delayed it. He didn't deny me. Mhm. So, it's like a. plane when your plane get delayed. Don't. mean it is going to leave you. It's just. delayed. It's not on time.

Yeah. And as long as I land safely, it's. delayed, not denial. That makes sense. What music do you. listen to? Who are your top three. artists that you get you ready when you. in the game? Uh Durk, Rod Wave, and uh. sheesh. J. Cole. Some of that, yeah. That's. That's a good playlist. Is it a. quarterback that you were so happy to. sack? Like. Like yeah, like.

Man. I'm going to say I ain't get him yet. Patrick Mahomes? No, I got him. No, you. didn't. Yeah, I did. No, you didn't. Yeah, I did. All right, that's my. favorite quarterback. I have never seen. you pat him. You never. >> You ain't watching enough ball. Yeah. Who was the quarterback that you going. after? I I can't say it publicly. Dak [laughter]. Prescott. No, I got him. Oh. Damn. Who would be the quarterback? Damn, can y'all guess who it is?

The people that's watching this. That is good. Peyton Manning? [snorts]. Way out of my league. Do does it feel good to get like that. sack? Is it like what what's the. excitement of a sack? What We get you. get the tackle, but what is your own. excitement like being able to do that? It's like wrestling too, cuz you was a. fan of WWE. >> Yeah. Um I think for me is like. everything everything has to be perfect.

to get a sack. Mhm. Like you got to win your rush. You got. to beat the guy in front of you. You got. to tackle the quarterback. You got to. catch catch the quarterback. What? Mhm. It's everything. You got to be perfect. Yeah. What is your favorite um. Do you Do you get on people's nerves? Like the person that's guarding you, do. you ever talk [ __ ] to them or you like a. silent. >> I'm a silent assassin. Mhm. So, you. never got on nobody in nobody's head in. the game. Like I'm personally getting on. his nerves. You know, I don't really. think that stuff works.

To you, I'm pretty sure somebody can get. on your nerves. Mhm. No. They know not. to talk to me. Mhm. You don't poke a. lion. The [ __ ] Yeah. Yeah. Don't [ __ ] with me. They might be trying to like like like. they got it like they want me to slow. down. They know they want to hit me late. or that stuff. They can't [ __ ] with me. Mhm. But, what is a defensive player that you. would like to play with? Like, I think. you and Maxey on two ends would be dope. Maxx Crosby? Yeah. Yeah, Maxx is straight. I mean, bro,

uh. I could I feel like I could play with. anybody. Mhm. I could play with anybody cuz I can play. anywhere on a football field. Mhm. If you want to play left, I'll play. right. You play right, I could play. left. Like, it don't really matter. Mhm. Some guys don't want to play like. I can beat whoever. If you was to play basketball right now. going to a NBA team, what team would you. play for? I'm playing for Golden State. And whose spot are you taking out? Oh. >> If you had to take a player out, Draymond Green?

Nah, Draymond can stay on the court. Uh. I'm probably taking Buddy Hield or. somebody. I don't know who their. starting lineup is. Yeah. But, me and. Steph are going to be one, two. Yeah. You going to be three-pointer or just. what what position would you play? I'm a. two-way, uh three-point slasher. Mhm. You can shoot three-points? Can I? More than Klay Thompson? Swoosh. Klay Thompson? Do you think you can. outshoot him in three-point contest?

Hey, bro, you know, that man is a top. five shooter of all time. I feel like. that's not really a fair comparison to. me. Okay. Well, you got Maxey, Tyrese. Maxey. Tyr- Tyrese Maxey? Yeah. That's my boy. He know he can't. beat me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. One-on-one? Yeah. He too small. That ain't got nothing to do with. height. It's about your heart. I could. call him right now. Call him. And you say you pick you think.

you can beat him. Yeah. One-on-one? Yeah. He'll tell you. He got to He got. to not give me the ball. That's No, I got to hear this. Tyrese, do y'all agree? That's 46 and. 30. Do you take Tyrese Maxey or him? This is and we healthy. We talking about. healthy one-on-one. Going to 10 points. Who y'all got? I'm. fast. Going to 10 points. That's it. Going to. 10. Half court. He has to not give me the. ball. Yo bro.

Hey bro, if we play one-on-one, you got. to keep the ball away from me, right? Like size matter, bro. You said we playing one-on-one? Yeah. I'll fry you. Hold on. Let me Hold on. Let me see. Look, this this funny Marco. We on the. show. We talking right now. We going to 10. What is What is he What. is he going to score on you? Who get the ball first, me or him? Me.

Yeah. HE MAY SCORE TWICE. >> [laughter]. >> YO HE YO HE GOT TO SEE ME in the paint. I'm like Zion Williamson, bro. He's not. got to. Yes. I don't care. Hey. So. You Just like I can't block you, you. damn sure can't guard me. See that See. that's my strategy. I I can't let him. get the ball. I'm calling my fouls and. I'm taking him to the rack. I'm not even.

going to shoot that [ __ ] Not one time. >> [laughter]. >> You really think you can. So like so. So speed don't matter to you though, like cuz you got speed, too. Well, you know, I'm not saying I can. guard him. Yeah. Like. Like. Tyrese cold. I just can't let him get. the ball. Mhm. But I got hope he miss cuz he got range. So you got You got to think you got to. guard him from. I can't let him step into it, but I also.

can't let him blow by me at the same. It's He's a tough guard, like Mhm. So he definitely like he would I I just. got to use. my body physique on him. Yeah. I'm taking him to the post every time. So, let me ask you this. How do you feel. about players holding on their thoughts? When you were in the league, you can't. share your opinion a lot about things. Do you feel like that is good? >> care about that. I tell I tell people. how it is. I don't So, what about people. that don't be thinking like you think?

And they just like Do you feel like. >> They scared. They scared to voice their. opinions. [ __ ] them. Mhm. Like I tell you, like [ __ ] Skip Bayless. [ __ ] all them. Uh-huh. Like. I don't give a [ __ ] That's that But, that's that's them because that's part. of talking. It's communication. Yeah, no. I just like Like they want to rage. bait me, rage me. Like But, like they. won't say that to my face, like. >> I wouldn't. I'll talk [ __ ] behind your. back, too. >> like you you these Twitter finger ass. [ __ ] yeah.

>> same thing. They like [ __ ] them. I don't. give a [ __ ] I'll tell you how it is. You suck. You suck. Your shot don't work. no more. Like you What What are we. talking about here? Just open. >> [ __ ] them. open thoughts. Yeah. That's. why this is called open thoughts cuz you. just have an open thought of. >> Like like Like [ __ ] be trying. to like. tell you how to play the game. Come play. my position, Skip, cuz I can do what you. do. Mhm. [ __ ] I do it better sometimes. Yeah. I. say yeah. Yeah, so like What What are. you What are we talking about here? Mhm. And Shannon Sharpe on the good side?

Shay Shay, he live on he he he live on. both sides. Like he know how to play the. fine line between like. as a player and as a. show like. He played it like he don't really show. up when it mattered, but he's a good. player. Like he knows how to. But, he knows how to He sometimes he. edge on that. He be He be letting them. ESPN writers get to him a little bit. I. can tell. So, do you see yourself after. retirement being a sports.

uh analyst and talking, you know, being. on there? Yeah, honestly, just depends. on like if they let me be me. Like, I'm. not here to instigate no other player or. talk bad about another player because. they had a bad game or whatever the. organization. Mhm. If they want me to be. anti whatever fan base, I'm good, bro. I'm not no [ __ ] puppet. Mhm. A lot of. these dudes is puppets for national TV. Mhm. If you want to be a puppet, be a. puppet, but that's not me. I'm not. selling my soul for a check. I'm paid. I'm good.

>> Yeah. Forever. Forever. That's why I. want to be your friend. Yeah, I'm good. I I got this football thing of mine. I. can go and go to culinary school and. I'mma cook for myself. >> What draft What What number did you get. drafted in? What pick were you? >> the 12th pick overall. And how do you. feel did that make you come in the. league more like, okay, or you was just. okay with long as I'm just on a team, I'm on a team? Nah, I You know, for me, I just want to be great. So, everything. that was a part of process came with me. just chasing greatness. Mhm. So, the. money came with greatness, the work.

ethic came with greatness, like. everything I am today came with me. working to be great and that's kind of. the easy part. Like, I never planned to. be the highest-paid player in the NFL. I. never. >> Mhm. planned to be, you know, first team. all pro. I just played football real. hard and those things came to me. Mhm. And in the just in the area cuz I know. now you playing in the cold. Do you feel. like How does that affect a player, too? I mean, I mean, I mean, bro, it's just all mentality. It. don't really change nothing. Mhm. I. don't really care about cold. I I grew.

in Harrisburg, PA. I grew up in high. school. I went to college where it's. cold. I went to Penn State University. Like, Mhm. Majority of the time we. didn't even have heated benches. It's. way nicer now. Like, Mhm. it's pretty easy. What would be your. advice for players that's coming up this. draft in the league and they get to sit. down and talk to you? What are some. things that you have done that is all. right if you can give them game? Like, this is what I tell you to watch out. for. Just the one thing. >> I would say don't rely on other people. trying to tell you your playbook. Deep.

dive into your own playbook. Know your. responsibility. Cuz like when we out there on the field. like it's loud. Like you got to know. your job. You got to know your. adjustments whether it's three by one, two by two. You got to know what you. supposed to be in. Like that's your. responsibility. And your accountability to your. brothers, the people you playing with. So don't always can you always can't. look to your right, you know, especially. on no huddle they going fast on the. ball. You always can't look to your. right and depend on somebody to tell you. what to do. Cuz he could be wrong. He.

may not know the job correctly. So. just studying your playbook, knowing. your job, and doing more than your job. is required. Like. I think that's what it take to win. championship doing more than what is. required of you. So is it it's just like. a a warehouse job where it's just like. if you mess up it can mess up the whole. if you For one person could give up a. touchdown. Yeah. Just like that. Mhm. Everything is about timing, positioning. Mhm. Football is all about inches, bro. This show is sponsored by Liquid I.V.

Lil Wayne's my dog for sure. Yeah. If he could do a collab with Drake, if.

they could bring like I don't know, what. come back and they go on the set, that'd. be fire. Yeah. Who was your favorite wrestler growing. up? Wrestler WWE? John Cena. John Cena. So, what about cuz okay, John Cena, what's the old schooler with The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H? Oh, Stone Cold was. my. And why did you like Stone Cold? Cuz I. Y'all got the same type of energy. >> Cuz he didn't give a [ __ ]. Knew it. I knew it and it's just. >> didn't give a [ __ ] And that's what it. is. 816. Just don't give a [ __ ] Yeah.

That's just the energy that you just. got. Yeah, like make it happen. Mr. Make It. Happen. Mr. Make It Happen. Yeah. Stone Cold is actually a good one. Yeah. Did you ever used to like wrestle with. your brothers back in the day? Were they. >> Mhm. That was a big thing, wrestling. Yeah. Especially when you try to pedigree. somebody. And it worked. Or the tombstone. Yeah, I wouldn't advise that. Yeah, I'm. saying back in the day. Like us growing. Yeah. Yeah. How you feeling now? I'm feeling good,

man. I hope I give you some good. content. You might go viral on a couple. clips. Um yeah, it's just overall just knowing. you already. And I know how you are. You just like to. be you and you will speak your mind. Yeah, that's why you brought me here. It's cool. You can go viral for a little. bit. I don't care. Yeah. I still got So, what Where you You had the move You. moved from the house Remember you had. the house in Dallas? Do you still keep. the house in Dallas or you get rid of. it? >> still got it. Uh-huh. Do you go there on. off seasons or that's something you own. time? >> now. Uh-huh. So, is that home for you? Just Dallas overall?

For the rest of like your life or do you. feel like. >> Feel like the next 10 15 years. Mhm. Is it Where is somewhere else that you. would like to stay and build a home like. out of the country anywhere? >> [snorts]. >> Yeah, I'll probably go to I'll probably. move to Spain once my kids grow up. Mhm. I've never been to Spain. What is it. like down there? Have you been? Yeah, it's beautiful, man. Food is amazing, the people. Um just the life is just amazing. It's. free. Mhm. And what do you eat to keep. like. A lot high protein diet. A lot of.

chicken, steak. You don't eat junk food. or nothing? I do, but I I eat more like. things that I need than I do. Like I. love candy, cookies. Mhm. But I keep it pretty simple. >> Yeah. Leases or that fuse, you got. people How do people How do family. ask for money now? Cuz mine be like they. do be like, "Man, I love that interview. you did with Nicki Minaj." I'm like, "Thank you." They be like, "Well, we. hungry.". And then they're saying that Is it. different ways. >> answer people. Mhm. Okay. That's the thing. I answer cuz I.

would say thank you. I would be like, "Oh, thank you." I don't even say that. I appreciate you. I put it in my mind. Yeah. Okay. Like they be like, "Good. game.". I'll be like, "Thanks.". Keep it in my mind. >> Keep it pushing. >> [laughter]. >> Like I probably only text like four or. five people back. That's good. What is the most expensive. thing that you bought in a day and you. regret buying it? See, that's the thing. I don't really. buy expensive things. Um I'm pretty like frugal. Like I ain't. never bought no APs, no Mhm.

Like I I don't really buy those type of. things. Mhm. Other than that, just stuff. that you need like houses and cars, stuff that you like. See, I wouldn't say that like so with my. experience this is like I've gotten more. like [ __ ] over by people. Like. interior designers, contractors, like. than I have. like bought stupid [ __ ] I don't buy. stupid [ __ ] But that was a lesson. learned. That wouldn't [ __ ] over. You. got to learn. >> Yeah, exactly. Like a contractor [ __ ]. me over. He gave me a poor job. He did. the job, but it was terrible. Mhm. How.

much did you drop on that? Uh like 200,000. Ooh, and it wasn't. worth it. He didn't do a 200,000 out of. job. >> No, he didn't do a 200,000 out of job. Wow. That was in Dallas. Mhm. Uh and. then Do you How do you get research on. that help? You don't ask the uncles or. nothing like Or it's hard. You just. don't know because you just do. >> I'm saying you know usually uncles you. can call somebody that like, "Oh, no, that ain't right." Or. research on it or you just. >> No, I just know. I mean, yeah, I'll have. someone come look at it and they're. like, "They didn't do a good job, but. they'll come redo it." You get the.

warranty, but I mean, if they keep doing. a terrible job, there's nothing you can. do. Like. >> [clears throat]. >> eventually you just got to say I got. beat and move on or hire someone else to. do it. So, it's just one of those things the. general contracting world is kind of. [ __ ] like. you don't ever win that game. And then. if you try to take them to court, like. you'll never win that game either. It's. just long, you're spending more money. than you actually get, so they really. [clears throat] get over on people. Why. didn't you change your number when you. went to this thing? Like, what you mean? My phone number?

>> No, no, your your jersey number. I did. Oh. Uh why did you change it? I just wanted to first start. Mhm. And do the numbers mean anything? Uh no. Mhm. When you picked the first number, 11, did it mean something? Yeah. Uh I took it after uh. you know, I had that same number in. college, Stick City. And then I just I just said I want to.

carry that. And then when I went to. Green Bay, You got number eight, right? Honestly, no. I got number one. But honestly, it. do like when I first like thought of it, it didn't mean anything. to me, like when they offered it, until. I learned the history of the number. And. then I thought it was pretty cool. Mhm. Um the only other person I was the. second person in history to have that. number. The other person was Curly Lambeau, um. who Lambeau Field's named after him. He basically started the Green Bay.

Packers. Mhm. I'm surprised it wasn't retired, but um. I'm the second person to ever have it. So, it's kind of cool, like it means. something now that I know the history. behind it. Mhm. And is it your job to. retire that number? Yeah, yeah, for. sure. That's my job. Mhm. And just being on different teams from. like, you know, Dallas to Green Bay, is. the fan love, just me being a fan, is the love do it feel normal or do you. feel difference in different states? You. don't have to explain what you mean. >> would say uh both fan bases are. incredible. Uh very passionate about the.

teams. They're both pretty insane and showed a. curve ball and love when I was there and. there. So it's about the same man for. sure. But what about the stadium when. it's loud? Which one is louder? Whose. stadium is louder? Oh man. Man. That's tough. I'm going to be honest. with you. My first walk out in the Green. Bay was the loudest I've ever heard a. stadium. Yeah. [laughter]. And multiple people would say that too. Like my first time walking out in Green. Bay stadium.

Everyone would tell you that was the. loudest. Like crowd. >> Did it make you almost cry emotional? >> Like chills running down my body. Yeah. That's a lot of people too. >> the spirit in the building. I mean it. was. it was insane. Yeah. It's it's crazy cuz a lot of people. won't get to feel that. Yeah man. It was like a movie like I. like I like sometimes like in life you. like. like sometimes like you're experiencing. things and like you're going through. life and you like. I really feel like this was like in a.

movie scene right now. Like what the. hell? Like. I think it's crazy like that. >> [laughter]. >> That's a. That's And then did it did it hold back? Did you almost cry? Like this is. different. No. I didn't cry. Like it was. just more like Shock. Yeah. Like I was. in like awe. Like. Wow. Like I like I was like damn. Like. [clears throat] I'm walking. I'm running out. I'm like I'm a Green. Bay Packer. Like this is crazy. Like. Uh-huh. Like you like it was I can't even.

explain it. Like It is everybody can't. and even if you explain it we won't. understand it cuz we ain't got the. experience. Yeah. I can't imagine just. screaming like that. That's crazy. I. remember when my daddy finally came home. after being gone for years. I screamed. and cried in his hands.

them. I disagree. What? You want them to take after us? Uh. You successful, aren't you? Yeah, but. I'm saying they could be but they could. be the next doctor, they could be the. next lawyer. That's. >> want to be that. That's if they want to be that and have. the work ethic. Like like like like I. like I can't stand when people take that. route. Yeah. Like bro, you got to have. work ethic whether you a football. player, whether you a doctor, like life. ain't just going to be handed to you.

Yeah. And like why wouldn't I want my. kids to take after what success looks. like? Mhm. That's the whole point of you. being successful, offering your kids a. life that you never had. Yeah. Like. What? Yeah. So yeah, like they're like. like there's a lot of lessons and the. blessings that come into your life. because of what you go through. So yeah, learn learn football, learn how to take. a hit, learn how to get back on your. feet. Mhm. Learn how to cook, like. communicate with your teammates. Mhm. Like learn what hardship is, waking up. early in the morning to go work out with.

your brothers. Like learn brotherhood. Learn what it's like to be a friend, a. teammate, a partner. Like there's a lot. of lessons in the blessings. And I feel. like. it's not so much that like I'm banking. on my kid to be the next me. Like I'm. not saying that. Like. I'm in a 0.00001%. of the world. Like Mhm. [clears throat]. But I'm banking on him becoming a better. man because he know what hardship is and. he worked for it. Mhm. Respect. >> Like that's like Like I feel bad for.

LeBron's kids. Like LeBron is literally. 000000000000000000001%. of the [ __ ]. since the [ __ ] world has been born. >> [laughter]. >> Like what are we talking about? Yeah, it's a lot of pressure. >> his kids be the next of. that one half percent of the men out of. this world. Like Like what are we. talking about? Like Let them develop and. be that. >> I don't expect them to be 18 and walk. into the NBA and be dominant. Like I. don't expect that. But I expect them to.

be good players and develop into good. players. Like we don't let kids develop. no more. Like Yeah. We just expect them. to be. these amazing players. And I mean, yeah, there's a couple that come into the. league and it's good, but some got to. develop. Yeah. And that's what That's what like you. said, the heart and how you carry your. energy can mean a lot, too. Yeah. Yeah. Like be an example with your actions and. your. Whatever you want to do. That's all that. matters. Just not put too much pressure. on the future cuz at the end of the day, everybody take time. And brains are. different.

Like that's it. So just let your brain. develop. Let you develop. That's it. What would be a motivation. quote that you want to give. right now? Mhm. I'll look on my phone. I got a couple. You do? Yeah. I'll say mine while you're. looking. Okay. Uh. my motivation is. realize that you are the realization. of real. And if real come over you. and you fake. That one a good one. That one a good. one.

That one a good one right there. Hold on. All right. >> [clears throat]. >> When you look All right, this is one of. my favorite ones. Okay. When you lose. money you lose nothing. When you lose health you lose something. When you lose your character you lose. everything. That's a good one. And what is what. stands out to you the most out of that. quote? >> [snorts]. >> That uh. often times we spend so much time in our. life like trying to gain another dollar,

get better in life. And sometimes when you do that you lose. part of yourself that. you may have stood for something before. but you're trying to upgrade your life. And uh I just feel like we spend so much. time trying to be the next baller and. then be the next person in life that. like we lose sight on really what. matters in life. And that's the little thing. Health. And when you lose your health you really. don't got nothing and you keep just. pushing things back. Oh, I can do it. later. I can do it tomorrow. I can do it.

next week. But the only guarantee you have is your. right now where your feet are. Yeah. Health is very important. And your. character is everything that you. establish in your life. So when you lose your identity of who. you are, what are you? Mhm. Like you know, I you know, I I have some. people in life that you know, constantly. uh. worry about like money and. things like that. They make money of. importance. Mhm.

I would like. Denzel said you can't put a U-Haul. behind a hearse. Mhm. Break that down. So the U-Haul. behind the hearse. You can't bring that. [ __ ] with you, bro. Oh. The only thing that's going with you is. is you and God, your spirit and God. Yeah, that's what I said. And I tell. people God get you paid, not you. And. the things that you do lead you into. money. Yeah. Like and once you be you, my motivation quote. Help me with a motivation quote. ChatGPT.

All right, here's one I love. The only. way to do great work is to love what you. do. Steve Jobs. Hopefully that gives you. a little boost. That was lame, but all right. Got it. No worries. Well, I really like your motivation. quote because it means a lot. Because without your heart, what's a. dollar? That was a good one, wasn't it? That was better than hers. Yeah. But that was Yeah. Um world, I want you to stop what you're.

doing. and follow. us on Instagram. Follow us on Cash App. What's your Cash App? Y'all not finna hack my [ __ ] boy. Y'all almost had you. >> [laughter]. >> Almost had you. Almost had you.
