The title is. Apocalypse's entire belief system, which. will be put to the test this episode and. ultimately fail that test. The recap. opens with a red X that fills the. screen, and it looks just like the red X. on the front of the X-Men sub that we. see later in the episode. This is a long. previous section since they need to show.
everything leading up to the finale. I'm. not going to go through every single. thing since it's all obviously stuff. we've seen before, but the recap. basically serves to remind us of the big. theme and question of the season. Is. Apocalypse right that love is a. weakness? Love is pain, a weakness [music] I cannot afford. >> On one end of the spectrum is. Apocalypse, abandoned by his mother, adopted by a group that believes in. survival of the fittest. He watched his. best friend die, and then had the one. woman he loved betray him and steal some. of his power. He took all that pain and. hurt and let it twist him into a.
monster, who now uses the love others. have as a weapon. On the other end of. the spectrum, we have the X-Men. Rogue. watched the love of her life killed. Charles watched his best friend killed. Nightcrawler was abandoned by his mother. and hated by his brother. And all of. them are feared and hated by humanity. simply for being born different. But. although they may have moments of doubt. and moments of hatred, like Charles. furiously telling Apocalypse that his. mother was right to abandon him, >> how wise your mother abandoning you? >> There's also Rogue still believing in. love, Charles still desiring to teach.
the next generation, and Nightcrawler. still arguing to save his brother. We. see Nightcrawler promising Rogue that. everything will be okay, which I said. last week I was worried wouldn't end. well. He also still believes in miracles. despite everything he's been through. because he chooses to see the good and. the possibility in everything and. everyone. In other words, he has faith. And in the middle are characters like. Cable. Mother Scani told young Nathan. that he needed to be strong enough to do. what the others can't. A lesson he took. with him into adulthood. He's let his. obsession with his destiny and. destroying Apocalypse alienate him from. the relationship he could have with.
Scott and Jean. Nathan, do not make me. take over your mind. >> Apocalypse is in there, and it's my. destiny to kill him. >> He's caught between wanting love and. thinking that love is a weakness because. he's been burned so many times before, like when he kept trying over and over. and over to stop the Janosha massacre. from happening. >> Each time we attempt to stop the attack. on Janosha, we are temporally pulled. away from the event. >> He's now fixated on Apocalypse as the. cause of all of his suffering in life. Then we also see Val Cooper teaming up. XFactor and X Force to take down XC. Corp. Cooper has always been morally.
gray. She started as a seeming ally to. the X-Men before it was revealed that. she was working with Bastion. She saw. the error of her ways and released. Magneto. But this season, she's made. full-on villain decision after villain. decision. And by the end of this. episode, she'll have to pay the price. for those decisions. The intro has the. full team together for the first time. this season with Jubilee and Sunspot. getting their own sequences since. they're officially back and done with. X-Force. Still no love for my boy. Colossus, though. And now, instead of. the classic villains facing off with the. X-Men, it's Cooper and XFactor. In. addition to Havoc, Wolf Spain, Multiple.
Man, and Strong Guy, there's also. Terresa Cassidy, aka Siren. She's the. daughter of Banshee, Shawn Cassidy. We. saw him in a few episodes in the. original series when he was engaged to. Moira McTager. The character was played. by Caleb Landry Jones in X-Men First. Class. Siren has never appeared in the animated. series, although she showed up in two of. the live action movies. Her powers are. basically the same as her dad's. She can. release an earsplitting Sonic Scream. Just like in episode 2, A force to be. reckoned with, it's the mutant kids that. XFactor took into custody who run in. between the two groups being chased by. the human piloted sentinels we see later.
in the episode. And then instead of. Magneto facing off against Charles, it's. Cooper touching her glasses and causing. them to flash and obstruct her eyes. Her. eyes being obstructed or looking. unnatural comes up a lot this episode, leading us up to the switcheroo at the. end. The episode opens with Cable. explaining that Apocalypse is inside. Gambit's subconscious and his. consciousness emits celestial energy, which once it hits 100% means that. Apocalypse will have completely taken. over Gambit's body. The reason he's. emitting celestial energy is because the. celestial Eison is the one who changed. Ensabanor into Apocalypse and leveled.
him up. When Cable says, "The woman who. raised me told me I had a destiny," he's. talking about Mother Escani. I went into. this in a previous breakdown, but again, spoiler alert for who Mother Escani. really is in the comics. If you don't. want to know, just skip ahead a few. seconds. In the comics, Escani is Rachel. Summers, Scott and Jean's daughter and. Nathan's sister. Like her brother, she. got lost in the time stream at one. point. I said this before, but her comic. story is sprawling and a little. convoluted, but basically when Cable. destroyed Apocalypse, the version of her. that was Rachel, lost in the time stream. became the main version of her, and she. only retains some vague memories of.
being Mother Escani. So yeah, she's the. one who hammered this idea of destiny. into young Nathan. And Cable's. relationship with his whole family is. pretty weird. >> Are you in this fight or not? Yeah, I'm a little busy. Have you met my. parents? >> Underwater, we see an angler fish. They. evolve to be able to camouflage. themselves and then lure in prey with. their modified fin ray and an es on the. tip. This is similar to how Apocalypse. hid inside Gambit to lure in the X-Men. Also, anglerfish just look cool, so. maybe that's all there is to why the. animators picked one to show here. Rogue, Beast, and Nightcrawler dive down.
to Ship. Ship is down here because of. the events from the original series, season 3, episode 9, Obsession. In terms. of the timeline of ship, who was created. by the celestials and is sentient. The. earliest we saw her chronologically was. in Ensabanur's time in ancient Egypt. Ship upgraded him to Apocalypse. Then in. the '9s in Obsession, the X-Men discover. Ship and Ship helps the X-Men defeat. Apocalypse by sealing him in an escape. pod and blasting him into space. But. this expended ship's energy and she. crashed into the ocean which devastated. Beast who'd become friends with her. In. the future, in 3960 AD, young Nathan,
Mother Esconi, and some of the X-Men go. to Ship, who upgrades Nathan's arm and. then helps send the X-Men back to their. own time. Ship looks exactly the same as. the last time they saw her, and she. greets Beast warmly. I broke down all. the images on the walls back in episode. 4. Ship warns them that those who enter. the shrine don't come out without paying. a price, a warning Nightcrawler. remembers later. The mouth of the shrine. opens the same way it did when Anabanor. entered it. Nightcrawler is very sad and. concerned as his sister enters, but. Rogue is determined. Back with the other. X-Men, Forge says this. >> Well, well, X Factor, guess it was only.
a matter of time. >> This is the second time we've heard. something like this this season. The. first was spoken by Ramatut in episode. 3. >> Ensabanur, I suppose it was only a matter of time. >> This presents both Ensabanur's attack of. the city and Xfactor's attack of the. X-Men as inevitable events that had to. take place sooner or later. But as we. see in this episode, sometimes destiny. can be avoided. seen through the sepia. tone screen. Cooper's usual blue eyes. appear odd and a little evil. Another. hint at what will ultimately happen at.
the end of this episode when her. identity is taken over by mystique. The. way the X-Men are lined up here, finally. all united and next to the one they're. closest to, was clearly thought out by. the animators, and their positions and. the meanings behind them come full. circle at the end of the episode. Polaris and Bishop are next to one. another. They've been flirting and. growing closer, and they end this. episode on what seems to be a date. Next. is Morph and Wolverine. Morph is the one. who is closest to Wolverine, the only. one who can make him laugh, as Wolverine. said in the original series. They hit a. road bump in their friendship this. season, but now they're fighting a. common threat together. Then there's.
Gene and Scott, both with a hand on. Charles's shoulder. Next is Forge with. his arm around Storm. And finally, Jubilee and Sunspot. These are also, for. the most part, the teamups that they. maintain during the battle. Cooper calls. Gambit a weapon of mass destruction. This is about 5 years before George W. Bush would make his now infamous speech. about weapons of mass destruction in. Iraq, which he used as a justification. for his 2003 invasion, and which also. turned out to be Cooper tells. Charles that she's only ever tried to. save you and your people from. yourselves, which is another common. refrain among people attempting to.
justify atrocities and violence. When. Cooper vows to take the X-Men by force, even Havoc is like, "Oh, wait, hold up.". Now, honestly, between this and his. being proud later when Jubilee kind of. kicks his ass, you can tell his heart. isn't in the fight with the X-Men. But. ultimately, everyone falls in line. And. when Cable helps take down the shield, Cyclops and Gene both know that that's. their baby boy doing it. Cable has. cybernetic upgrades thanks to ship and. he can mentally manipulate force fields. Cooper says all teams clear to engage. She's not just commanding X-Force and. Xactor. There's also one, the Office of. National Emergency, which in the comics.
she established after the Shadow King. almost forced her to kill Mystique. You. can see her a guy with the one patch on. his uniform. One utilized the human. piloted sentinels Cooper deploys here in. the hopes that they could someday. replace superpowered groups. And in. fact, a few episodes back in Cooper's. office, we saw some sentinel tech that. was clearly leading up to this. After. Rogue enters the shrine, her right hand. is missing its glove, blasted off or. disintegrated by the celestial energy. coming out. Last episode, she removed. the glove on her right hand right before. she touched Gambit/De. Rogue is always. extremely careful about when and why she.
removes her gloves since accidentally. touching someone with her bare hand. could be fatal for them. Rogue speaks. with Eison and he rips the gem back from. her out of her chest after death shoved. it into her last episode. The gem in the. chest and the way anyone talks to Eison. looks really similar to how they. communicated in the Eternals film with a. golden ball emerging from and entering. Ajax's chest and her immediately being. in front of a giant Arisham. That was a. special communication sphere and Arisham. was a kind of illusion. Here Charles. says that Cerebra can't locate Rogue and. wherever she's gone, it is to a realm.
beyond Cerebra's reach. So clearly this. section of ship and the shrine are. outside this plane. When Ensabanur let. Isan change him into Apocalypse, it was. out of a desire for power and wanting. revenge. But when Rogue and Nightcrawler. make a deal with Eson, they're doing it. out of love. Rogue was made stronger, not weaker, by that love. I think by the. end of this episode, Ean takes away a. lesson that tests his idea that a world. is made stronger only through death and. destruction. While Rogue is in the. shrine, Nightcrawler prays for her. She's upgraded just like Ensabanur was, although thankfully she doesn't turn.
purple. She just gets this cool new. outfit and green eyes and also her right. glove back. Beast says his catchphrase. >> Oh my stars and garters. >> Rogue gives her brother one last hug. She thinks it will be the last because. she's going off to fight her last fight. and then die. She doesn't realize it's. actually going to be him who dies. Rogue. affectionately calls Nightcrawler elf, his nickname from the comics. A lot of. them called him this, but it was mainly. Wolverine. Rogue also called him this a. lot in the animated X-Men Evolution. She. thanks him for always keeping the faith, which is what he tells Ean he has when. Ean asks him how he can be sure that his.
death will lead to so many wonderful. things. We get another awesome battle. scene between the X-Men and Cooper's. forces. And both groups are excellent. tacticians. The directors and storyboard. artists are really cooking this season. with these fight scenes. Cooper has the. human piloted mech sentinels in an air. battle. Xfactor is going after Gambit. Cable fights his parents. Cooper knows. this will keep them occupied and that. they'd never really do anything to badly. hurt him. The X-Men have some solid. defenses of their own and a good defense. strategy. Polaris and Bishop guard. Gambit's room. A smart move since Bishop. is best in hand to hand combat. And.
Polaris is the one who knows XFactor's. fighting style the best since she. trained with and worked with them for so. long. Jubilee flies the jet, providing. support for Sunspot, who's out there. because he can fly. She's leveled up a. lot this season, and in the original. series, it was a running bit that she. was awful at piloting, and Cyclops. wouldn't let her fly the jet. But I. guess she was only 15 at the time, and. they were right to be like, "Nah, you. got to wait to operate this crazy. expensive piece of equipment." I love. that they kind of continue the running. bit here with Havoc's taunt about look. who got their learner's permit. Storm is. out there flying around, too, since. she's obviously best in an open air.
battle where both her flight and her. weather powers can be best utilized. Forge is out there in his homemade. jetpack offering backup to breach the. defense shield on the building itself. Strong guy bounces against it, using the. energy to charge himself up and then. expending that energy back at it while. Siren uses her sonic scream as added. power. Storm says that since the. Sentinel mechs have human pilots, this. will require a delicate touch. Basically, if they were just plain old. Sentinels, she could destroy them, rip. them apart, blast them with lightning, whatever. But if she did that now, she'd. risk killing the pilots. Honestly,
again, very smart of Cooper to do this. since she knows the X-Men would never. risk human life. Storm uses her wind to. blow them away and then expel the human. pilots and set them down safely with. their parachutes deployed. Morph. pretends to be Wolverine just like. Mystique did in the first X-Men movie. Morph even does this very convincing. sniff sniff here to trick them into. thinking that's the real Wolverine. Also, someone forgot to knock is a very. Wolverine quip. Well done, Morph. Morph. knows Wolverine so well that it's easy. for them to mimic him. Morph turns into. Doc O. When the real Wolverine joins the. fight, Psylock stabs him through the.
head with her psionic blade, but it has. no effect on him since, as he says, his. brains have already been scrambled. That's thanks to everything that was. done to him with the Weapon X procedure. and the brainwashing and all that stuff. that I went into for the breakdown of. episode 5 this season. When Bishop and. Strong Guy fight, their powers basically. cancel each other out since they both. absorb and blast back whatever is thrown. at them. When Multiple Man is beating up. on Polaris, Bishop screams this. >> Get [screaming] off of her. >> Yeah, I've said it before, but I'll say. it again. These two are going to bone. And I love how all the sound basically. cuts out when that throwing card lands.
>> Give it up, Polaris. >> Oh, Gambit, I have missed you. He says, "Long time no see me what I miss." Some. of his best lines from the original. series were when he was gone and then. came back. >> Everyone can relax. >> Gambit has returned. >> In that episode, Days of Future Past. part one, Bishop tried to murder Gambit. immediately after this. So, it's a full. circle moment here that Gambit is saving. Bishop. And Gambit is really kicking ass. here, but the celestial energy in his. subconscious is up to 85%. Which not.
good. Meanwhile, the fight between. Cable, Gene, and Scott is intense. At. one point, Cable deflects Cyclops's. optic blast so it hits Gan. Then he. removes Cyclops's visor, tosses it. aside, and punches the ground, blasting. out the windows and collapsing parts of. the building. And then he shoots Gambit. right in the freaking head. And dude, how could you think this would work? You. can't take Apocalypse out with a bullet. I guess he was hoping there was still. enough Gambit in there that the body and. Apocalypse with it would be destroyed. But honestly, this reminds me of when. Bruce Banner was talking about how he.
ate his gun and the other guy spit the. bullet back out. After Gambit goes down, the rest of the team comes in. So, Apocalypse just takes over Gambit's body. and we get full-blown Gamocalypse. He. says that this is always how it was. meant to happen. He's always portrayed. as being several steps ahead of the. X-Men no matter what they do since he's. inevitable. In the original series, Beast theorized in the Beyond Good and. Evil arc that if Apocalypse was the. personification of evil, then he might. not be able to ever be truly defeated. since good can't exist without evil. The. entire team throws everything at him, but they don't even make a dent.
Gambocalypse just converts all of them. except Charles to his slaves. And then. he twists Charles's to me, my X-Men by. saying this, >> "For now you all belong to me, my. X-Men.". >> This is similar to how Magneto twisted. it in the first season when he found out. Charles had left the school to him. >> His fortune, his school, everything he. built now belongs to me, my X-Men. And. then he repeats the words he told. Charles, who he's still pissed at for.
deceiving him all those years ago, that. the ones he cares for will be his. undoing. This has been the conflict. between them this whole season. And. here, Charles rejects Apocalypse's. belief, saying that our loved ones are. how we survive. And to hammer that point. home, Rogue, who leveled up out of love, not a lust for power, sets down right at. this moment, backed up by some very. hopeful sounding music. She snaps the. others out of Apocalypse's control. without even touching them. Then she. takes off that glove again, and this. time it just disappears into thin air. And whereas Gambocalypse looks at Rogue. with pure hatred, she looks at him and.
smiles because she sees the man she. loves still in there. This is their. conversation by the fire come back. around. Apocalypse hates anything that. will make him weak. But Rogue knows life. isn't worth living without love. And. that hasn't made her weaker. She's. stronger than Apocalypse. She touches. him and separates Apocalypse out, trapping him in a blue gem, which she. gives to Cable. And this is a lesson for. Cable, too. His obsession with destiny. made him push away his family and push. away love. He can carry the apocalypse. gem with him as a reminder that he. should never turn into the thing he. fought so hard to destroy. Also, I guess.
he can use him as a cool paperweight for. bills and stuff. Honestly, this lesson. applies to a lot of them this season who. were in danger of losing themselves and. their loved ones because of various. obsessions with making themselves. stronger and obtaining more power. Wolverine alienated Morph when they went. to get his adamantium back. Charles. inadvertently created danger in his. obsession with this idea that if he'd. just been stronger, he could have saved. Magneto. Even Colossus briefly went to. the dark side of the acolytes before. Nightcrawler showed him he had to. forgive himself for feeling like he. wasn't strong enough to protect his. sister. Gambit says this, >> "Rog really do always come to Gambit's.
rescue.". >> A call back to last season's pilot. episode moment. >> Rogue always come to Gambit's rescue. >> This presents Rogue saving him as. something that is inevitable. It always. is, just like Apocalypse thought he was. Rogue goes to him and they kiss without. incident. And when she turns back to. normal and her one last fight is done. and she doesn't die, we know something. is up. Also, her glove is back because. no glove, no love. When she sees Beast. holding Nightcrawler's Bible and no. Nightcrawler, we all knew what was up. and burst into tears, right? If you.
weren't crying then, Nightcrawler's. conversation with Ean must have done it. Nightcrawler says he wants to complete. Rogue sacrifice, not challenge it, and. offers his life instead so that Rogue. and Gambit can live on to love one. another. and they can all live on and. experience new memories which he'll make. possible because he also loves all of. them. This is such an amazing speech and. Adrien Huff crushes it as Nightcrawler. Huff was also the voice of Nightcrawler. in the original series. So, he's lived. with his character for over 30 years and. this is such a beautiful end for. Nightcrawler. And then over his speech,
we get to see those new memories being. made. In the kitchen, Charles enters to. see his X-Men doing a lovely mundane. everyday activity, drinking coffee. Not. battling the forces of evil, but. enjoying the company of the people they. love. Gene and Scott, the married. couple, after getting some closure with. Cable and his hunt for Apocalypse. He. tells her a story as she mentally holds. up the coffee pot, ready to refill. anyone's mug who needs it. Forge and. Storm, the newer couple, looking at each. other with growing love and. understanding. Morph and Wolverine, the. best friends, repairing their. relationship after the events of episode. 5. Morph looks like they're right in the.
middle of telling Wolverine an amusing. anecdote, the only one who could ever. make him laugh. And Beast is there with. his one true love, reading material. Notice a headline with the word Creed on. it. We find out in a minute what that's. about. This is accompanied by. Nightcrawler saying that his friends. will get to experience each day a new. blessing. Then Jubilee and Roberto stand. with some of the new students, the ones. Jubilee rescued. Both Jubilee and. Roberto first came to the school when. they were being hunted. They were afraid. and confused, and the ex-mansion felt. dangerous and oppressive to them. But. now it's their home and they're going to. help the others acclimate and become.
comfortable with their powers and who. they are, even if one of them looks like. a bird. Charles teaches some students. Apocalypse used his teacher title. against him, mocking him for it. And for. a bit there, Charles lost his way. But. here, he's once again rediscovered his. purpose. Also, stupid Quentyn choir is. there at the DNA strand covered. chalkboard because he probably thinks he. should be the one teaching. Polaris and. Bishop enjoy a picnic together, maybe a. first date, complete with a bottle of. wine. Colossus paints another picture of. his sister, but this time he's in it, too, holding her up like he did back in. the original series when she was. younger. It was Nightcrawler who made it.
possible for Colossus to work through. his pain and begin to heal from the. loss. And then we see Gambit and Rogue. together finally and happy. Rogue holds. her brother's Bible with a photo of the. two of them inside. She and Gambit look. at Clouds again, not fighting, not. struggling, not questioning, just. enjoying each other, as Nightcrawler. says, as they were always meant to be. Nightcrawler's sacrifice made all this. possible. He had a life well-lived in. service of others. And he even seems to. convince Eison, maybe just a little bit, that there's another way. Nightcrawler's. point is that there's more than one way. to make life better and stronger for.
those you love. It's not just about. survival of the fittest. And instead, love and life can come from death. After. a season in which everyone was trying to. make themselves stronger, Nightcrawler's. strength was in his sacrifice. And we. get this absolutely perfect last. exchange. How can you be so certain your. end will bring forth all this life? >> Because. I have faith. >> But wait, there's more. We get one hell.
of a postredit scene in Washington DC, who we think is Val Cooper, goes through. a classified mutant threat assessment. file. Trish Tilby announces that Creed, that piece of crap, has won the. presidency, which means things are about. to get a whole lot worse for mutants. The file fake Cooper has is on Mystique. and it reads, "Highly dangerous. Alias. Raven, that's Raven Darkholm. Mutant. shape shifter, capable fighter, intelligent and agile, known. associates." And then there's a bunch of. pictures. These are the members of the. Brotherhood of Mutants. And the art. looks like it's taken directly from Paul.
Smith's artwork that was turned into a. poster and then added to the Marvel. handbook. There's Magneto, Toad, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and I can't. tell who's next to Scarlet Witch. It. should be someone like Pyro, but it. doesn't look quite like him. Then. there's Mastermind, Blob, Unis, Laureli, and then there's what looks like a black. and square. Then there's some stuff. that's redacted, the word gray, and the. rest is redacted. Three names, Randall. C, Rebecca R, Jennifer L. I love this. because these are all the actresses who. played the character. Randall Carpenter. is the voice actor who is back here from.
the original series voicing the. character again. Then Rebecca Roma, who. played her in the liveaction movies. X-Men, X2, X-Men United, and X-Men: The. Last Stand with an uncredited cameo in. X-Men First Class. She's reprising that. role in Doomsday. And then Jennifer. Lawrence played her in First Class, Days. of Future Past, Apocalypse, and Dark. Phoenix. Then more redacted stuff. It. says Jennifer D something. Anamarie. Darkholm, that's Rogue's name. This file. is probably saying that Mystique is her. adoptive mother. Then it says grade in. redacted, and I can't tell if that says. senior or junior. Junior is Mystique's.
son, new president of the United States. Senior is Saber-Tooth. Again, they. changed his name from the comics for the. animated series so that kids would. understand that Saber-Tooth was Grade. and Creed Jr.'s father. Then we see Kurt. Wagner, Nightcrawler, because Mystique. is his birthother, although she threw. him off a waterfall when he was a baby. And then the real Val Cooper walks. through the door and Mystique shoots her. in the side. Then when it cuts to Black, there's another gunshot. So, I'm. guessing she's a goner and next season. we'll deal with Mystique taking her. place. In the comics, on the night of. the election, a timetraveling Mystique. actually assassinated Creed during a.
campaign speech, so he never actually. became president. She did this because. she knew his presidency would usher in. an apocalyptic future. It's important to. note that contrary to online theories, the Val Cooper we've seen up until this. point has been the real Val Cooper. She. wasn't replaced after being killed by. Bastion. She wasn't Mystique the whole. time. I'm not sure where Mystique has. been up until now, but knowing her, she's been laying low to see how. everything played out with Apocalypse. In the original series, she served. Apocalypse, but she eventually turned on. him, even though she knew this meant he. would try and hunt her down and kill. her. So, I think she's only emerging now.
for a few reasons. First of all, she. knows Apocalypse is gone for the time. being. She also knows her mutanting son. just got elected president, and she. can't let him mess up things for mutants. in the future too badly. And finally, her other son, Nightcrawler, just died, and she may want revenge. In the. original series, it's true that she. tried to kill him as a baby. But then. when they reunited later in season 4, episode 14 Bloodlines, she actually. pushed him out of the way of a bullet. Creed fired and took the bullet herself, proving that part of her did love him. This was right after Nightcrawler told. her he'd asked God's help to forgive her. for abandoning him and that she should.
try and find a way to help forgive. herself. So, even though Mystique is. always portrayed as ultimately looking. out for number one, Nightcrawler's death. would certainly make her feel a certain. way. We'll have to wait until next. season to find out what her ultimate. plan is. Now, I know some folks online. weren't fans of the season like they. were of season 1, but I thought it was a. banger of a season and that the writers, directors, animators, and voice actors. didn't lose a single step. Season 3 will. release in 2027 and season 4 will. release in 2028 because Disney is trying. to stick to the yearly release schedule. around the same time. Marvel Studios.
head Brad Winterbomb said that even a. year between seasons felt too long to. him, so I'm sure they'll stick to that. schedule. I say use the time between now. and when the next season comes out to. rewatch the original series. I rewatch. it every couple years and I think most. of the episodes still really hold up. So. that's it for this breakdown of episode. 9, the final episode of X-Men 97 season. 2. Let me know what you thought about. the season in the comments. And a. special thanks to Michael Horwitz who. supports us at the executive producer. level. Big thanks to Studio Tech Brian. Kim and New Rockstars editors Josh Herd. and Abby Fel and all the supporting. editors. Follow me everywhere, Gina. [music] Subscribe to all channels in the.
