VISIONQUEST REACTION | Eps 3 + 4 | Jocasta Explained | NR Aftershow
Tony Stark had a Jocasta card in his. drawer, but this episode establishes. that Jocasta has a completely different. origin story that is unrelated to that. >> Did Tony Stark help them build this at. one point? But I think they're just. erasing that. >> Well, maybe he did. Maybe he did. These. are all questions from the episode. >> you can still be like, oh, we have our. researchers here, but we're also. outsourcing our like engineering through. Stark prop like Stark Industries. >> It literally is the same metal as. Ultron. >> She's thick. >> Just just build with hourglass. >> [laughter]. >> I literally went.
all right. >> And we're still calling him White Vision. because that's what he is. You can call. him Vision all you want, but. >> my Vision. >> He's not my Vision either. >> Welcome back to New Rockstars. Episodes. 3 and 4 of Marvel's Vision Quest are now. on Disney Plus and it's time to talk. about these episodes. Reboot and. hardware. You did it, Joe. Ultron is on. the loose and so is Jocasta and we are. concerned. >> This is the New Rockstars aftershow with. your host Eric Voss and Jessica. Clements. >> Yep, every Tuesday night we're going to. be here on the New Rockstars channel.
reacting to these Vision Quest episodes. with you and answering your biggest. questions as we try our best to theorize. where things are going. >> I forgot to tell you this. This has. nothing to do with this podcast, but it. will. Vision Quest will go over Halloween and. for the Halloween episode, I was going. to dress up as Dr. Loomis. with a bald cap. So you have to figure. out a costume. >> Ooh. We might be recording this tomorrow. morning in the. >> Oh [ __ ]. >> [laughter]. >> OH, I CAN STILL DO IT. I ALREADY HAVE. THE JACKET. I ALREADY have the jacket. I. already have the jacket, the trench. coat. Will this be Halloween episode?
>> I think it might be. >> Okay. Yeah, I'll have the trench coat. jacket already. I just need to get I. wanted to get a white person bald cap. >> Yeah, [laughter] it's different cuz then. it's not the same. >> Dr. Loomis if it's not a white man bald. >> Who are you if it is, you're [laughter]. basically you're Steve Harvey. >> again. If it's a black and white If I can't get. the black, it's okay. I'll just wear the. If I can't get the white one, I'll get. the black one. >> be black Dr. Loomis and I I I'll get it. >> was like the time where I was wearing. the braids and I was everyone was like, "Oh, it's Storm." And I was like, "No, House of the Dragon.".
>> You're a Valerion. [laughter]. Yeah, I'm like, "God.". >> I got to put the white bald cap on. >> [laughter]. >> Um I got to figure out what I'm going to. do. We still have the flying monkey. outfit that I could wear. >> It could just be me. It's [laughter]. just me wearing a Wanda shirt and you're. just. has nothing to do with this series, has. nothing to do with this show. I don't. even think they got any inspiration from. Halloween. >> [laughter]. >> at all. >> We'll have to watch these next two. episodes because we haven't seen. episodes five and six. We're theorizing. just based off of three and four. We. don't know where things are going.
in this podcast. And when I say we'll. record tomorrow, what you'll see. tomorrow is our in-depth Easter egg. breakdown of just episodes three and. four. That's going to be coming tomorrow. morning. Tonight, right now, on Tuesday. night, we're just going to be reacting. to these next two episodes of Vision. Quest, episodes three and four. And then. we're going to look ahead to episode. five and six next week and we're just. going to make some theories and. predictions based off of where we think. it's going. We really have no idea. And. if you haven't already, got to check out. my interview with Terry Matallas. That. was such an exciting opportunity that we. had here at New Rockstars. Our man began.
to answer some of our biggest questions. for where we think the season is going. And before we get into episodes three. and four, Jess, one takeaway that I had. from talking with Terry. And again, thank you so much to Terry Matallas for. for just coming on New Rockstars. It seems like while he was here, he's. doing a bit of expectation management. and I really appreciated that he did. this. He he not only shot down the whole. mystery client of Paladin equals Billy. theory, he also seemed to put a bit of. cold water on any theories over who the.
mystery client is. I think he he really. wanted to avoid what happened with Jac. Schaeffer and New Rockstars saying. Mephisto every week and people getting. too excited for Mephisto when that whole. mystery was just kind of a nothing. burger that was created by YouTube. channels like us and and um Bettany and. Elizabeth Olsen just kind of answering. questions in these cryptic ways during. junkets. I think what he's saying is do. not worry about the mystery client. The. answer to that question's not going to.
be that exciting. >> Yeah, and that's okay. >> That's okay. I'm actually glad to know. that now. >> I I like that because it also. we call it a nothing burger, but it's a. nothing burger that we create as the. fans. Cuz it wasn't a nothing burger for. them when they were writing in that. room, and they maybe were more I mean, it's up to us in a Marvel show as the. fans were constantly theorizing what it. could be, what happens. And the only. mystery here is who the client is. So, we're all trying to figure out who this. client is along with the fact that a. bunch of tech CEOs are getting killed.
>> Yeah. So, it makes you want to believe. like there's a bigger picture here. But. if it isn't that big of a picture, I. completely understand, and that's. perfectly fine. This is a story about. White Vision anyways, so. >> Yeah. >> And we're still calling him White Vision. because that's what he is. You can call. him Vision all you want, but. >> He's not my Vision. That's not my. Vision. That is not my Vision. The way. he talked to Tommy in this episode, I'll. tell you right now, that's not my. Vision. >> [laughter]. >> That was crazy. No. >> He was so mean, and then he had this. really nice loving speech about like how. he could still be Tommy Maximoff, and. then later at the end of the episode. he's like, "Yeah, no, I don't love that. kid.".
>> [laughter]. >> At the end of episode three. >> It's so It's so It's clearly building up. that I I really still hope that Ultron. is still always going to be a bad guy. I. love that the ending of the fourth. episode ends with him, spoilers, being a. bad person, being a bad robot. But I. like that out of all of the AIs, if they. all bring something to the table, Ultron's bringing the humanity to a. Vision. I. >> Kind of, yeah. >> It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. But. I just love the idea that he's like, "Why are you talking to him like that? Like, stop hiding it." And also being. like, "You Avengers are weird with your.
morality your morality. Like, it makes. no sense." And also just like I I love. that he's the one that knows everything. that's going on in the news. You guys. are a bunch of AIs. How do you not know. what's going on in the news? Why is only. one of you actually interested in human. lives? And it's Ultron, weirdly. >> So, our our conversations as we ask a. lot of questions about these episodes. are going to center around this mystery. that these two episodes did answer. Who. is behind the Butcherbird killings? It. is Jocasta. Jocasta has a different. origin story than she does in the. comics. And they're setting up this. mystery of Jim Hammond. What is going on. with Jim Hammond? What is the history of.
Phineas T. Horton? We did learn a little bit about Jim. Hammond from some of the promos. Basically, what actor's going to be. playing him? That I thought was really. fun that we will talk about later in. this podcast. I'll try to warn you. beforehand, but it is something that. Marvel's marketing wanted us to know. Um, and this. I think we're going to backpedal now. from the mystery of who is the client. because I I I honestly think sometimes. showrunners, and Terry might have been. included in this, do want to engage. They want to get.
hands-on with some of the coverage of. their shows to avoid the fans getting. too far ahead of the story and avoid the. fans just barking up the wrong trees. And I think the mystery of who is the. client, I think might have been. improperly balanced in these first four. episodes to be a bigger mystery than it. was. And I I do have to point out as. trying to be a fair critic here, there are too many scenes with with. Paladin in these episodes where he is on.
the phone with this mystery person. If. you don't want us to guess it, maybe cut. some of those scenes where we hear a. modulated voice on the screen. Where of. course we've seen what, seven Scream. movies at this point? We've seen how. many James Bond movies where we're we're. coded to guess who is the voice on the. other side. It's not just New Rockstars, it's everybody is wondering who this. client is. So, I appreciate Terry coming. on the show and just saying like, I get. why you're asking the questions, but ask. some of these other questions first. And.
and we will as we go through these. episodes. Okay, so and I know we've. delayed it enough, but I am wearing my. favorite shirt ever or at least from. 2026, Wanda's best food design. It's. available exclusively at our merch store. nerdriot.shop. One of the best ways to. support us at New Rockstars, and it's. just a great gift option for that. special nerd in your life. All right, let's recap what happens in episode 3, an episode titled Reboot. Okay, so this. episode begins with Ultron painting some. paintings inspired by the Butcherbird. killings while he's watching coverage of. the latest victim named Rebecca Edwards, who was an AI engineer, part of this.
McGregor group. And then Richard Gaines. of London was the first one, and then he. adds a red eye to the painting. So, he. seems to at first seems to be aware of. what's going on there, but I think he's. just kind of following and he's. inspired. Uh, but then we see the third in this. line of killings, Simon Morehouse, we. learn his name later. He's loading a. shotgun with vibranium bullets, just. waiting for this killer to find him. Uh, the killer does. It's the Butcherbird. It's like I I It's interesting that. these two episodes were grouped together. because I don't think episode 3. initially was going to reveal that it.
was Jocasta. It was going to be an. episode 4 reveal. But, we kind of learn. it when you watch them back-to-back. >> And I feel like that's why they had to. mash them together cuz there was no. It was like, "Oh, we know it's Jocasta.". And then the next episode is just. learning Jocasta. And I was like, "Oh, yeah, you have to put these together.". >> glowing red eyes, it's kind of hard to. hide it. And they put it all [laughter]. over the marketing, too. >> who this is. There's only one other AI. that we haven't seen yet. >> Yeah. >> [laughter]. >> Um, so but these vibranium bullets do. cause the leaking of coolant. I have. questions over how this CEO got his.
hands on vibranium bullets. I feel like. >> everybody's getting them now. >> Surely he's going to show up and be. like, "Oh, what?". >> I feel like it's not that hard to get. vibranium anymore. Uh, it used to be. >> island of them. Oh, no, that's. adamantium. Sorry. >> no, but vibranium once they opened it up. to everybody, everyone was trying to. sneakily get it. And now that, no. offense, their queen and king are dead, I feel like, "Okay, so who's in control. of like monitoring where this is going. and who's doing what?" After Wakanda. Forever, we don't really know how. they're handling anything. >> is why T'Challa should not have killed. Erik Killmonger.
>> Yeah, Killmonger. >> Because he was the one going to museums. to make sure that this stuff wasn't. ending up in the wrong hands. >> guns to just people on the street. [laughter] Yeah, but not vibranium. bullets. >> But it would have Who would have It. would have evolved into vibranium. >> the war dogs. He would have been like, "Hey, hey, come here. Come here. Kid, kid, kid.". >> Also, I'm not supposed to. take these vibranium bullets. But I'm not super I think that is. something to note though is that like. billionaires can have vibranium bullets. >> Oh, of course. They can have whatever. they want. >> Yeah, but now that we see it it's like, "Oh, yeah, dude. Every really, really. rich person's going to have weapons to. protect themselves.".
>> Now, question on the economics. [laughter]. Do we know He had a nice apartment in. London. Do we know if he's a. billionaire? Okay, a tech CEO. BECAUSE. [laughter] HE HAD. I I LOOKED AT THE specific article. Tony. Stark Stark Tech acquired. this Mark Ridge group for 1.4 billion. split Well, I guess four ways now. That's less than a billion per. Now, if. they've invested it in things like Uber. or Open AI or Venmo, then yeah, I they.
might have a billion now. But I'm. guessing Do billionaires live in. penthouses in London or do they just. live on some island somewhere? >> they own multiple penthouses. >> That's true. They own a penthouse in. every major city. >> And I think because I my favorite my. favorite little factoid is like What is. it called? I forget what it's called, but how like really rich people dress. horribly. >> [laughter]. >> And they live like just like discu- Like. they're just like trashy people that are. like. >> Bill Gates, Sam Altman, they're. >> casual wearing flip-flops and shorts and. it's like you're the richest person on.
the planet. Why aren't you wearing. anything at least remotely like okay to. walk around in? And they're like. >> [laughter]. >> It's like. Trump's the J. Joe's a bank. >> [laughter]. >> suit. >> That's basically what the. >> A good deal's a good deal, you know? >> deal's a good deal. That's basically. what I think about these penthouses. I'm. like, of course they have just a regular. really nice penthouse. They're like, "Yeah, this is what I chose to live in.". Or he could just be in hiding. To be. fair, this scene was giving very much. Watchmen the movie with the comedian. >> Yes. >> And I was like, "Oh, this poor man was.
trying so hard.". >> [laughter]. >> He should have been better about hiding. to be. >> No private security. He's like he can't. trust. >> He actually I think he wanted to die. So. we should really allow whatever. happened. >> on the Epstein list. >> The way he was LIKE HE WAS LIKE NO. >> GOT TO go out one way or another. >> I will say those are one of my favorite. tropes of no, not you. NO, ANYBODY BUT. YOU and it's like clearly Jocasta. >> [laughter]. >> So Vision meanwhile is traveling through. the English countryside. Thomas Shepherd. who doesn't turn his turn signals on is.
driving in this conspiracy theorist car. that's filled with bumper stickers and. shirts that deny the blip happened. So. funny. Vision's adamantium wound is. continuing to leak and burn. He says. only Bruce Banner or Tony Stark could. repair him. Of course Bruce is. unavailable, but Vision goes to the back. and gets his battery acid, this sulfuric. acid to cauterize the wound. [laughter]. Inside it kind of passes out. Inside. Vision's mindscape Edith and Friday are. discovering that his systems are. overheating so they're trying to. stabilize him. Eventually determining.
that the wound has to be cauterized and. Dummy and you rush in with fire. extinguishers spraying them and then. Vision kind of comes back to life though. he's still glitching. His voice is. modulating quite a bit. I'm like wait, Vision is the caller? Vision's the. client? Elsewhere the assassin Paladin. all kinds of fun MCU trivia drops here. Apparently he had run-ins with the Ten. Rings Syndicate are the ones who hooked. up hooked him up with some adamantium. body armor. So there's one. He ran into.
Werewolf by Night which is incredible. Werewolf by Night getting mentioned. Ran. in with the devil of Hell's Kitchen who. hit him in the head with a billy club. and I'm thinking those IEDs in Brooklyn. were our man Frank Castle Punisher. That's my theory. >> Okay. >> Because who else has IEDs in Brooklyn? Like our man hooked up his whole. shipyard station with with MJ and Peter. There was like booby traps with IEDs. everywhere. I think it was Frank Castle. I feel like Paladin and Frank Castle. would get along pretty well. >> Yeah, 100%. >> Yeah, THERE'S A LOT OF.
>> [groaning]. >> IN THAT CONVERSATION. YEAH. UM. HE ALSO HAS a little doggie on his. dashboard. We get so much Paladin lore. in this episode. [laughter] Can we talk. about this for a second? >> Yeah. >> He had an abusive dad in this truck. where he's like, "I'm an important man. People respect me." And I think he's. saying that he was like a high-profile. rich target that Paladins were sent. after to kill. But why are you driving. this pickup truck, dude? >> who's the person that killed him and.
then was just like, "I'm going to take. your son.". >> another Paladin who's like, "I'm. shooting blanks. I don't I can't make. kids of my own." We learn that the. Paladin. order needs to have biological sons to. pass it like. >> Yeah, we learned that. >> kind of their own Jordan boys legacy a. little bit here. >> wanted his son so badly, he killed. someone to take it? >> Well, no. He He was assigned to kill. this guy and he's like, "Hey, boy in the. passenger seat. You're my son now." And. then teaches him the ways of the Paladin. and then so he's not a true Paladin. All. this weird stuff where Jocasta is boring. into his head with her hands. I just I.
did not not have this on my bingo card, Jess. I did not think that we would get. so much Paladin on this series. Our man. was in one shot of the trailers. In. every episode, Todd Stashwick has had. more screen time than like everyone. except Paul Bettany, I think. I think we. we spent more time with Paladin than we. have with Tommy. >> Yeah, 100%. 100%. I agree. >> And it's just it's surprising. I'm I'm. entertained. Don't get me wrong. I'm. entertained. It's just like this show is. expanding in ways that I just find to be.
surprising. Like I'm wondering where. it's all going. This is This show should. have been called. Vision Quest featuring Paladin because. that's [laughter] how much we're getting. Paladin on this show. >> for Paladin. He's so weird. >> He's kind of a weirdo. >> He's such a weirdo, dude. And also, I. just I like the juxtaposition that I. think we get more towards the end of. this episode or they're all blend into. me as a two-hour episode. But. of Paladin being like after the fight. him bleeding, and then we have Vision. bleeding his coolant, and they're like,
"Oh god, I'm almost dying." And I'm. like, "Paladin, you are human fighting. robots. Please, take a step back." Like. I keep trying to be like, "Be logical. about this. I understand that you have. to follow through with your mission, but. these are robots.". What are you going to do? What are you. going to do when you fight Jocasta? Like. what do you mean you're going to take. her on? Like that's. >> I also have questions, right? Because he. is not a naturally born Paladin. He was. adopted into it. Nothing against being adopted into. anything, but Jocasta even points it out.
as something like, "You're not a true. Paladin." Ultron and all these other. characters are saying, "Well, he's not a. real Paladin." But so is he bound by the. same blood oath? He he was told he was. as a kid, but he wasn't born into. whatever this is. So there's that, and. is it the same if you're hunting robots? >> That's That's a good question, actually. >> Vision has somewhat human tissue from. Helen Cho that's been infused with. vibranium atoms, but Jocasta doesn't. seem to. She's in fact trying to find. her leader of blood, her eyeball, her. skin, her.
fingerprints, because she doesn't have. any human tissue herself. So are you. still Does it count if you're trying to. hunt down Wally or C-3PO? >> [laughter]. >> He's like, "I don't know. I just do I. just kill whoever gets in my way.". >> a contract. >> think A deal's a deal. A deal's a deal. But I also think that's the part of what. they wanted us That's why we had so much. backstory with Paladin, just like. Jocasta, just like Vision. It doesn't. take being a robot to like seek who you. are. And then your your roots are not. actually as. good as you think. I guess not good, but.
like valuable or valid. Like the fact. that we had to learn that Paladin isn't. a a valid like a Paladin by blood. My. first thought was like, "I don't care. He was like He was trained in it. forever. I don't care." It clearly hurts. him, though. Him knowing or she saying. that out loud hurts him. And so I was. like, "Oh, I think this is more like he. just doesn't know who he is. He does not. He's like, 'I was born to be this.' And. it's like, "No, you weren't." You were. abducted by a guy that killed your dad, dude. >> and no one questioned it No one looked.
for you. >> So who are you? What is that Cuz I think. they're trying to observe that Paladins. are still individual people. It's I I'm. not I'm not trying to say they're like. the same as Stormtroopers. We don't give. a [ __ ] about Stormtroopers, but I think. they're trying to say that like you're. more than just your label. >> Well, we don't even know his name on the. show. His name's just Paladin. We know. his dad's name was Edgar based off of. closed captions. >> going to have a nervous breakdown AND BE. LIKE, "WHY AM I DOING THIS?" I THINK I LOVE. THE IDEA that cuz we don't know what. happens after she cuts him off, right? The client or they, I don't know if it's. a she. The client is like, "I don't need.
your work anymore.". >> Yeah, he didn't show up in episode four. >> Yeah, he gets sad. Oh, he's going to. come back a menace. >> Yeah, a lot of people are like, "Wait on. Wait, Eric, Paladin wasn't even in. episode four. What are you talking. about? He's getting more screen time.". Okay, episodes one, two, and three were. like the Paladin show. >> No, they weren't. And no, he's getting. so much screen time. Even if he's not. talking, he's still in the screen He's. still the main component of He's the. reason Tommy got captured. He's the. reason the bar got shot up. >> most active character after Mission. >> I And a piece of me just believes it's. because he's going to die like in. episode five. >> That's what I thought would happen, but. I don't know. I think he's in this.
episode four, but. he keeps showing up in these like promos. and promo shots of like, "Wait, you're. hanging out with this character in this. scene? How much is Scott Sashwick in. this?" But I don't want to sound like. I'm going to complain cuz here's the. deal. We I don't feel like I'm being. deprived Vision or Ultra Armor Tommy or. or or Friday or Edith. I'm getting a lot. from like I'm learning so much about all. my characters, so I'm kind of feasting. and I'm not complaining. I You know. what? I needed to shut up about this. >> You're like, "You know what? I need to. calm down." I don't think you're. complaining. I think my I'm complaining. more because which I don't mind seeing.
Paladin, but it's like I. This is How is the nice way to say this? It's I don't mind Paladin, but if you. give me Paladin with this much screen. time, I want to know who the benefactor. is. I want to know who his client is. I. want to know who it is. And I know that. we're not supposed to like question it. And we're like, "Oh, it's not going to. be as big of a deal as you think." And. I'm like, "That's true, 100% cool.". But I need to I don't know who this man. is. And I want to know what like I guess. his motive can just be like, "It's in my. blood to kill everybody and finish him a. mission." But I'm like, it clearly isn't.
just that. You're hired by someone. >> Yeah, and and you were. adopted. Like it and so I think look, we. did learn some lore about him and I feel. like this is actually what I wanted at. the beginning of the season. I My. concern is that we were just going to. throw in this MCU Marvel Club shiddo and. we weren't ever going to learn anything. about him. But actually we're learning. quite a bit about Paladin and I and I. think there is something charming about. the way Tat Schashwick is playing this. I just sometimes it sometimes feels like. he is in a different show than like the. rest of the show. >> like the Punisher. Uh I don't mind him. being recklessly just violent, but I.
also I'm like, I don't want you for five. episodes just be going through shooting. people. I don't I want to know why. you're going this hard. Like can't you. just walk away from it? I don't. >> Well, now he's got a headache and we'll. see where he goes next. >> No, he's going to be he's going to come. back twice as worse. He's going to be. like, "Now I'm off I'm No one can strap. me down.". >> Look, if if Paladin [clears throat] is. the one way we get Werewolf by Night. back on screen in the MCU, I'll take it. >> Well, it's not going to be. He's going. to die. He's going to die. Paladin's going to. die. >> Werewolf. Jack Russell will protect him. Man-Thing.
will protect him. >> want it No one should protect Paladin. He kills innocent lives all the time. >> So far we haven't seen him kill anyone. innocent. >> The bartender? >> He didn't shoot the bartender. He shot. the guy behind the bartender. >> shot the bartender. >> Yeah, yeah, his mercs are you know. >> But kidnapping Tommy, using him as the. bait. I mean, you don't need to bring. >> I'm not defending it. I'm just saying he. hasn't killed any innocent person. He's. tortured innocent people. He's. psychologically abused people. Uh not a. great guy. Um but we he does have three. Stark drones that he's painted black.
named Bing, Bang, and Boom and I love. these little [ __ ] I think they're a. lot of fun and they can multitask. One. can chase We have this like this whole. episode hinges on this Silence of the. Lambs kind of location fake out where. you think that. found them at the hotel. And so many 12. Monkeys Easter eggs in this. The The. Emerson Hotel is like the recurring. base. The name of the Mark Ridge group, that's the group that invents the virus. that destroys the world in the 12. Monkeys show. The M510 is the name of. the virus and that's the the entry code. that Ultron says. Uh and the specific.
isotope that of the coolant, that's the. the name of the cooling agent that needs. to be in the canister that contains the. virus. Like, man, Terry Matalas just. went crazy with 12 Monkeys series. references in these two episodes and in. episode one. The watch that. um. that Tommy uses for his grift is like. Cassie's watch. It's a huge important. prop from the 12 Monkeys show. So, if. you're a 12 Monkeys fan, you're feasting. well on this series. I'm just saying. that now. Uh and uh there's like I thought there's. going to be more Picard references, but.
Terry Matalas is like, "No, no, no.". >> Absolutely not. >> Getting this 12 Monkeys [ __ ] in there. Um. So, they're uh they're at this hotel. Um Ultron's just kind of there as a. passenger the whole time. There's a lot. of fun stuff where they keep appearing. in the backseat. I'm enjoying this. But. yes, they're at the hotel. Tommy is uh. triggered by anything pool related. Um. and then there's this whole wonderful. scene where they are where Vision is. going through these simulations of how. to have a better heart-to-heart with his. son figure and cannot figure out how to.
not piss off his son. Uh and eventually just realizes, "Oh, no. We're in an unstable state." Not. realizing by saying unstable, we are. unstable. He's also calling your son. emotionally unstable, which is also not. a nice thing to say to an 18-year-old. son who's just wants to be more part of. your life. Um. and he also like cruelly denies he kind. of gaslights his son by saying, "Your. experience in Westview did not happen. You're just some random Scottish kid who. read a chapter in a book.".
>> Not my vision. >> Not my vision. >> vision. My vision would absolutely have. been a way better person about answering. this. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah. And what book do we think he's. talking about? Look out for the little. guy, Scott Lang's book? I think he was. But like that book exists. Hector read. it for us and broke it down. And there. is not a single chapter on Vision and. Wanda. There There are chapters that. kind of talk about their experiences. with Wanda at some point. >> and a bunch of YouTube videos from. accounts of people in Westview that we. haven't seen. >> Grass documentary called The Snap in the.
MCU that probably covered it. >> I'm sure he read a million articles from. people that we haven't seen, which I. would love to see. That is That is a. deep hole that I would love to see. Give. me a magazine that covers the aftermath. of Westview. >> Yeah. But Tommy's starting to learn how. to vibrate his his atoms in a way to. phase through things. And even that. phasing is like enough to get Vision to. be like, "Wait, you can phase? Actually, you're you're you're useful to me.". Uh and and he realizes that like the. only way that's going to fix whatever. his his crumbling body is that they need. to just turn it off and on again, which.
is so funny. It's such a good IT crowd. reference. Uh and but it does kind of work. We're. also forgetting the subplot here where. Edith has this traumatic memory of. remembering that like the day of the. snap and how. >> Friday? >> Oh, yeah. Sorry, I meant to say Friday. Friday has this traumatic memory that. Edith is kind of helping her through as. she's like typing on these IBM uh. programmer cards. And uh we don't see it, but I I love. Orla Brady's performance here. >> Yeah, I think it was great. I really. liked it.
>> And she's like. uh you know, half the world came back. that day, but I lost half of mine. >> I lost half of mine. >> That's what a. devastating line. >> I As soon as she said that, I went, "I'm. sorry for saying it should have been you. instead of Jarvis." And I do take it. back. It should have been Jarvis, and it. was Jarvis. I don't want Friday to keep. But I also I don't want Friday to have. to sacrifice herself. And if Friday has. to sacrifice herself, I'm going to be. very upset at my my TV. >> Yeah, I'm I'm ready for this at all. Um but by vibrating all the water and. causing it to boil in the pool, that's.
how those other kids were bullying. Tommy. >> And I bet they learned and I bet they. learned that day. >> Don't don't have. You don't need a swim buddy in Tommy. Shepherd. >> the MCU, yeah. Also in the MCU, the last. thing you should be is a bully. I can't wait till these X-Men start. showing up cuz they're going to be like. in puberty, these kids are going to be. killing people by accident. And I'm. going to be like, "Were you bullying. them?". >> Yeah. >> bring it out of them? >> Cuz, you know, maybe you got what you. deserve. >> Maybe you got what you deserve. >> And maybe don't pants Jean Grey. >> [laughter]. >> Maybe don't. >> Maybe don't.
>> Um but, yeah, so Thomas boils the water. and also just pulsates this yellow. energy through his father. Meanwhile, down below in the mindscape, they turn. it off and on again. I love that the the. off switch is behind the Jim Hammond. painting. I thought it was very. interesting. Questions I have about that. as well. Um and. and they're able to bring him back. Meanwhile, Paladin is investigating. Morehouse's murder and discovers him. that he was. killed while he was firing vibrating.
bullets and that's where Jocasta gets. there. We talked about all this before, his trauma. But, basically, the client. fires him after this and says, "You know. what? I got a list of a hundred. different bounty hunters. You're no. longer of use to me anymore." Uh. Yeah, the. What did the client say? Like history. called upon the Paladin for this? Like I. felt It seemed like the client was just. looking at like who historically is the. one for this job and it's the Paladin. Like he just flipped to the yellow pages. and. >> I'm still I'm still thinking about who. the [ __ ] would have this knowledge.
>> [laughter]. >> I'm still thinking about who the client. is. And more and more I think about it, I know we're not supposed to talk about. it. I'm not going to get I'm not going. to harp on it. I I'm. Look, I don't want to believe it's. Sharon, but watch it be revealed as. Sharon. Because this seems like some. [ __ ] Sharon would say as the Power. Broker. >> Yep. With Vision's body back online, he's able to just they're able to now. mourn Jarvis in this really beautiful. funeral scene where it turns out I think. it's due to Jarvis transferring some of. his processing power to Dummy and you.
that these two can now talk and not only. talk Dummy can quote Keats and come up. with his own beautiful rhyme for how. they should move on from this on what. the purpose of grief is like we had. Vision defined grief as love persevering. Dummy tells us the function of it to. remind us that we were real to help us. go through these things. What a beautiful sentiment. Meanwhile, you can go. Yeah. BUT ALSO CAN SING O Danny Boy with a. beautiful singing voice. So beautiful.
Uh and they have this scene where Ultron. doesn't thinks this is all just a. charade thinks AI's. interring and mourning and and. eulogizing each other is just [ __ ]. Uh but calls Vision a gift shop poster. instead of art itself. A gift shop. poster. But you know, my opinion is. if you're a teenager and you really dug. your experience at the Met or the Louvre. and you cared that much about art that. you want a poster coming out of the gift.
shop that poster is as much of a work of. art as the painting hanging in the. Louvre. Who's to say that Ryan. Meinerding's concept art is not. inspirational and meaningful of a poster. or that any of these movie posters or TV. show posters that these beau-. the beautiful works of art that we get. that these artists create is not. meaningful enough to a kid. So I think. Vision misses something in like the work. of art. He I think he thinks that the. original art is the only thing of value. when I think the the print. or just like.
the non-fungible token. >> [laughter]. >> can be as meaningful. Who are we to say. that that's not art? Who are we to say. that that's not without meaning, you. know? >> Yeah. >> Um [snorts]. but we end with this kind of uh. cliffhanger of in the reboot process. another AI has entangled with Vision and. that AI is the butcher bird is Jocasta. We have now this kind of demonic. position possession where the sky is. turned red and the butcher birds are. flapping through the skies and that's.
where we end episode 3 reboot. Uh so. your thoughts on this episode alone or. does that does this episode kind of. blend in with episode 4? >> this episode. I like this episode a lot. I also like the line which I I can't. remember if it's at the beginning of. this at the end of this one or beginning. of the next one where. Ultron goes. what does he say? What does he say when they get. possessed? He says. the power of code compels you. >> in episode 4 so funny. I mean at the. >> this man saying the funniest [ __ ] They.
got him saying the best and funniest. lines in the show. They. I already loved Ultron but I was like. damn dude he's so funny. >> See I have a theory that originally they. tried to be a little bit more clever. with it like having the programmer's. Bible and they wrote all these lines for. Emily Hampshire to read. Of course they. wanted to be more subtle all the. exorcist references and then James. Spader got in there and he's like. they're not going to get it. THE POWER. OF CODE COMPELS YOU. [laughter] IT SAYS. THE MOST BASIC version of it that's. right on the nose. >> He's so funny in this dude. He's so. funny. I love James James Spader it.
feels like he's having so much fun. He's. just He's like even when he's in the. back seat it's so funny. He's just. annoying. He's I I love that they're. like are you going to either help or. just sit there and constantly complain. and he's like no. He goes back to his newspaper. I love. Ultron. I do really like this episode a. lot and I do say that a lot of it is. really great but that scene with Friday. is what really made me love that. episode. Um and it wasn't about like. Tony Stark dying again. It's just. remembering like oh yeah there was a lot.
more people. that it rippled when Tony Stark died and. I always go to Pepper and his daughter. and to Peter and all the Avengers but. I'm like oh yeah what the [ __ ] happened. to his suit? His suit just had to hold. his dead body.". >> Yeah. >> For like God knows how long. We don't. know when he got taken out, but like it. feels like a mimic of when Rogue was. like, "I can't feel you." And I was. like, "I don't like that." I don't I. don't like any AI having to be like, "I. can't feel the guy that created me's. heartbeat.". >> Oh. >> Like that's so sad. And she did it.
really well to be like Jarvis emulated. that. Jarvis like, "I can't do any more. sacrifices." She was like, "I don't want. any more deaths." And I'm like, my girl. >> The To me, the most uh curious moment of. this episode, other than like the. Paladin lore, was this moment where. Vision and Ultron are in the cinema. And like Ultron goes, "Ah, the past is. not going to make you want to live. The. only the future will." Snaps, and we see. Westview footage, and then. Vision says, "This is not my future.".
And Ultron says, "How can you be so. sure?". So, I think what he's saying in there is. like, "Have hope. Have like there's. something that you need to fight for to. stay alive, just so I as Ultron am am. not about to be deleted out of. existence." But I think he is saying I. think this is a meta message that like. Vision on this show might have a future. with Wanda. That there might be some. kind of future that looks quite like. Westview, where Vision and Wanda have. their sons together and the family is. reunited. Maybe it's not in this world.
Maybe it's not even on this show. But. there is a future that is inspired by. Westview. We might be able to look at. the events of WandaVision as a. rehearsal, as like a technical. rehearsal, a walk-through of an actual. life. >> Yeah. >> that Vision might be able to have with. Wanda. >> No, I think I said, [laughter] "No.". >> You said, "No.". >> I said, "No." I think I THINK IT'S TO. emulate that why Vision can have his. own. I think what Westview was was the. vision. This is White Vision. White. Vision's like, "Even if you program me. to love Wanda, I don't think it will be.
that easy." Like it's not going to be. like that. Um. and I don't think they're going to take. completely from the comics, but this is. a situation where you give Vision his. own life and his own point of view that. has no attachment to Wanda or Tony. anymore. And he goes forward and finds. his own bride. And I think he's going to. have his own bride, he's going to make. his own family, and he's going to live. like a human like in Westview. But I. don't think it's going to be a Wanda. And I think that's the best part about. him in the comics at least. It's like. when Wanda and him break up, it's like,
"Hey, we have to break up. I'm going to. go be with uh what's his name and you. can go make your own bride." And I'm. like, "Yeah, that's. I don't know. It feels like it's still. like what is. love if not grief persevering, but grief. not being death being just the death of. a breakup like a relationship. If that. makes sense. >> think I think that's a great analysis, too. I I'm just kind of excited by. anytime Ultron shows interest in the. programming of WandaVision. >> Yeah. >> Um I obviously we're questioning a lot. about what Ultron's plan is after these.
two episodes. Like I had this video last. week, what is Ultron's plan? Obviously. the the Jocasta stuff is I was. completely off base on that. Like I. >> I'm technically wrong, too. By the. fourth episode I was like, "Oh, she. wasn't not hired by Ultron.". >> I don't know. >> But Ultron still got in that body. >> Ultron's still interested in her, but he. seems to be as surprised by everyone. else. >> Yeah. >> as everyone else. Um and I I do think. though that Ultron is interested in what. happened in Westview. And and I think. there's something about television and.
his interest in TV. In episode four, he. gets his whole idea of what makes a. proper father from TV. Someone who farts. and blames another dog. Someone who sits. in a chair, watches his sportsball team, yells at the TV. And we got another. example of sitcoms in this episode. >> Mhm. >> We had Sanford and Son episode one. We. have Small Wonder in this episode, the. weird '80s show. We also had the music. drop of Greatest American Hero. Uh the. um Believe It or Not song. It said, "Believe it or not, from Greatest American Hero. So, we're. having these like specific weird oddball.
'80s sitcoms. Sanford and Son is just a. classic father-son comedy. Uh Small Wonder and Great American Hero. are like sci-fi sitcoms of the 80s that. were awesome and I wish sitcoms did more. of this, but like it was just more. experimental 80s programming. Small. Wonder is a very weird pull. That show. is odd. >> I was like, I don't know it. >> It's a inventor dad and built a robot. daughter and they had this little girl. talk like this. They had this young girl.
talk like this the whole time and that. was like most of the jokes. It's like. cringe if you watch it now. It's the. type of show I watched and I'm like, "Damn, I wish we had more of this. stuff.". >> I'm more impressed that they had a. little girl do that the entire time. >> That [laughter] was the joke. He pulls. He turns her around and unscrews her. back panel. Uh yeah, it's strange. It But it's also. how we got things like Alf, which is basically a guy going and. talking to a alien life form living with. a family. There was the show Unhappily. Ever After where Bobcat Goldthwait.
voiced Mr. Floppy in the basement. >> THIS IS. >> TALKING LIKE [screaming] THIS. AND HE'S. LIKE, "HEY, MAN.". AND HE'S ALWAYS HE COMES DOWN TO THE. BASEMENT AND HE'S MAKING JOKES AND HE'S. A TRASH PUPPET. JEEZ, WILL YOU SHUT UP?". >> [laughter]. >> I NEED YOU TO MAKE references from 2000. up. WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS THIS? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS. IS. >> [screaming]. >> IT'S A REALLY BAD BOBCAT BOBCAT. GOLDTHWAIT IMPRESSION. You know who. Bobcat Goldthwait is? He's in Scrooged. He's a wonderful comedic actor who kind.
of had a career resurgence in the 2010s. >> What else is he in? I know Jim Carrey's. Scrooged. >> He was in a lot of stuff in the 80s. >> Okay, I need to go back and look at. Bobcat. >> voiced Mr. Floppy in this show. >> That sounds made up. >> [laughter]. >> It's Well, he kind of is made up because. the idea is that this guy just goes down. to his basement and it's drunk and it's. just talking to this pile of trash on. his. >> [laughter]. >> What were you watching? >> THE BEST CONTENT IS WHAT I WAS WATCHING. Um there was a time is all I'm going to. say and I'm I think obviously the pull.
Sanford and Son a father and son. connection and that is something Terry. Matalas has said like he didn't outright. reject the Elizabeth I'm coming theory. that you pitched. But he did say. there is going to be something important. with Sanford and Son and all these. little sitcoms that we're seeing in the. season. >> I don't know the other ones but I do. know Sanford and Son very well. >> I just think I just think Ultron and. Vision their shared love over sitcoms. and their fascination with them. that Wanda had is just going to be.
important to this show. >> I think so far it sounds like familial. relationships are just like the key in. all of these sitcoms that we've seen so. far, right? It's always like a it's a. immediate it's close family. So maybe. it's just observing how people work as. families. I hope none of them replicate. what Sanford and Son is. Uh also because that feels like racist. for them to do [laughter] as white AIs. >> Right. But is it racist if Family. Matters gets appropriated? >> do Family Matters on the show. >> Why is it okay? >> don't like Family Matters. >> [laughter].
>> You're more protective over Red Fox than. Sanford and Son. >> Red Fox. 100%. I'm I'm a I'm not a. Family Matters girl unfortunately. >> Well, I think Family Matters is another. example of when sitcoms used to be. weird. I mean half of the plots in. Family Matters were literally Steve. Urkel inventing a robot of himself. >> Shut up. It's so funny. >> Or when he transforms into Stefan. Urquelle and he's cool and hot. >> [laughter]. >> He's like yeah, I love Urkel and all the. girls in the studio audience go. and it's like it's still Jaleel White. What are you doing? >> [laughter]. >> I'm just we're going to track all the.
sitcom references that we see on the. show because they are different than. Wanda's interest in sitcoms. They have a. different kind of angle. so far. >> Well, yeah, they're trying to understand. it and technically Wanda was creating it. with Agatha? Agatha had a little spin on it. >> mostly the sitcom part was all Wanda. I. don't think Agatha watched any of the. sitcoms. >> doing? Yeah, well, okay. >> She was uh. powering the the dark side of it. That. was like. >> But she threw little curve balls in. >> She did. So, everything bad that. happened, all the the chaos, the all the.
dark side that Wanda was doing to. possess people out of their control, that was encouraged by Agnes Agatha, cuz. she doesn't care. >> What uh. but the dog dying was not Wanda's doing. >> No, that was Agatha. >> So, that was Agatha. So, was Wanda. original to script being like, "Yeah, we. have a dog and it's great." And then out. of nowhere she was like, "Wait, our dog. died?". >> Yes. >> Oh, yeah. >> That And then Uncle Pietro showing up, that was obviously Agatha. >> for her, yeah. Yeah, that was surprising for her. Okay, cuz it helps understand just like the. limitations to television and our just. understanding how Vision's going to see.
it and if Ultron can [ __ ] with it some. more. >> Let's move on to episode 4, Hardware. So, it is now. the Battle of Sokovia Remembrance Day, a. holiday that just matters in the MCU. still, despite it was 177 people who. died in a country no one had ever heard. of, and we've had a blip happen. We've. had an emergence happen. More people. died in 9/11 than people who died in in. Sokovia. >> Well, I. >> 2,977 people died in 9/11.
>> It's just one of those holidays. >> I'm just saying it's weird 13 years. later they're making such a big deal. over it. The the 13th anniversary of. 9/11 people were like, "Oh, yeah, never. forget. Anyway, who's playing football. this weekend?". >> I That's what I'm saying. They tried to. make it more important than it is. I can. guarantee everybody still had to work. that day. >> People in the UK are like, "Put this on. the front page, full photo spread of. Ultron, another side headline about. Wanda Maximoff, someone who died four. and a half years ago." Like, they're The. MCU keeps doing this. Like, uh Daredevil. did this. Like, yes, things like uh the.
the Battle of Sokovia had happened, yet. people are still talking about, "Remember the Battle of New York?" Like, everyone But yes, New Yorkers would care. about that more, but I think other stuff. had happened in New York in the MCU. since then, and they were still talking. about, "Remember when the big green guy. and the guy with the hammer, who we're. not going to call by name were fighting. and we're never going to show Avengers. Tower cuz that was just the weird. standard that they lived by. That's what. this felt like to me in episode 4. >> I get that. We all know why we're talking about it.
It's because it's the only thing that we. can link Ultron and Vision to is the Age. of Ultron. >> Tommy was like, "I remember when I had. my. Sokovian refugees." I'm like, "God damn, kid. What age were you fostered at? 6 years old?" Cuz you're only 18. >> Maybe it's because it's been so long. that we dealt with the Age of Ultron. that I'm like again like you, I'm like. we've gone through the blip. Like even. what happened in Falcon and the Winter. Soldier was more detrimental than what. this is today. Like I don't I don't. under- I don't under- Like I Ultron is. bad, 100%. I remember Sokovia, Ultron's.
bad. We also had a million other worse. people since then and I'm thinking more. about that and some of them I don't KNOW. WHERE THEY ARE TODAY. So I'm like they. could come back. At least I think the. robot's dead. Like I don't. >> I mean I can understand there are some. conspiracy theorists who don't believe. the blip happened, fine. I would believe. that. But we lived in the blip for 5. years. At that point no one is talking. about Sokovia, the Battle of New York, Lagos. No one's talking about any of. that [ __ ] No one's talking about. Project Insight over the Potomac after. the blip has happened. >> thinking every day even in Los Angeles.
that there was something that happened. in New York that made everybody go into. fever dreams of their past selves in. their brain and killed themselves. I. would think about that before I think of. the Sokovia Accords. I would literally. be like I. What What are you talking about Sokovia. for? I'd be like who are you TALKING TO? I DON'T CARE. >> But I get why it's in the show. It. matters to Vision. It matters to Ultron. and Wanda. All these characters started. in the Battle of Sokovia. So I'm not. faulting Terry for putting it in there. It's just like context is. >> No. >> missed here. >> think maybe it's just a show that came. out much later than it should have only.
because of that. Cuz I'm like if it. didn't come out Age of Ultron was so. long ago. But like I I understand. I'm. not getting mad at the writing about it. It's more of like it's not I don't I. don't think it deserves a holiday. >> It's But it's so funny while this is. happening cuz it sounds like there's. like several hours of this morning in. the hotel room where Tommy's just like, "Yoohoo, hey, Vision. All right, I'm going to go down to the. car and get a shirt. I'm going to go. back to that vending machine and steal. more candy. You good?" And then it sounds like. Vision's just sitting there on the bed. for like ever.
But this episode down in the mindscape, they're dealing with the demonic. possession, the exorcism. Um there's some really cool lighting. design and set design where basically. Vision goes outside and is talking to. Jocasta, and Jocasta is just doing some. spooky [ __ ] Like she just puts on a TV, uh and she's like, "Ooh, why do you feel. like you have to protect them? Like you. I'm like you. They of course they built. another. They always built another." A. question right off the bat. Who actually built the other? Cuz it.
sounds like her business partners were. the ones who did not let her die. They. backed up her AI to live on the. computers, but did these other Mark. Ridge business partners build the body. or was this. Sword? Because the theories of the other. AIs in this episode is that Sword just. is doing everything, but we have not yet. seen Sword on the show. Four episodes. in. And until we see Tyler Hayward or. Nick Fury or someone else from Sword. coming and say, "Yeah, we we printed out. that other body." Or yeah, "We're the.
caller on the other end of the line.". I'm not going to believe it. >> Why did Tony have the chip of Jocasta. then? >> Okay, this Yeah, that's another question. of this. Because like Tony Stark Jocasta. card in his drawer, but this episode. establishes that Jocasta has a. completely different origin story that. is unrelated to that. >> Which is completely fine. I don't mind. that. I think that's what made me. confused and we'll we'll get into the. episode. I got a little confused because. I my new Rockstars brain kept being. like, "No, I saw those Jocasta I saw. that in Tony Stark's hand." So I was. like, "Did Tony Stark help them build.
this at one point?" But I think they're. just erasing that. >> Well, maybe he did. Maybe he did. These. are all questions from the episode. >> you can still be like, "Oh, we have our. researchers here, but we're also. outsourcing our like engineering through. Stark prop- like Stark Industries.". >> Here's what we learned from the episode, from this kind of Law & Order. investigation, the Sherlock Holmes. investigation from from Edith, Friday, Dummy, and You, that there was this. group of five AI engineers in the. mid-2000s called the Markridge Group. Again, another.
Terry Matalas sci-fi 12 Monkeys. reference there. Um that instead of inventing the virus. that wiped out humanity, they invented. AI in the MCU. It was these five people. and that Tony Stark, through Stark. Industries, bought this group for $1.4. million in 2008. And that around that time. Josephine, Dr. Joe, was the one who was really the. CEO or co-CEO of the company, died from. natural causes. We don't know exactly. what, but they backed up her on their AI.
servers and feel some guilt over this. Um she was not allowed to fully die and. that it she somehow became like another. Ultron or another Jarvis, another. Vision, whatever it is. She haunted. their machines and then had some body. printed out of her. We don't know if it. was Tony Stark who who did that. We. don't know if it was. Sword who did that or if it was one of. them working rogue, but Tony Stark did. have a Jocasta chip in his drawer.
>> I mean, if the if Tony Stark if Stark. bought it, it I I could understand them. keeping on paper like the legal things. they're doing. And so Tony does have a. copy of it, right? You can back it up a. million times. You can be like, "Yeah, here it is. Here's what it took to make that we were. working on." And then on the other side. they're doing their own kind of sneaky. practice of being like, "Let's upload. her brain into a robot body so we can. keep using it." It just feels like it's. a stretch, but it's like you I guess you. don't I don't mind if you ignore that. Tony Stark had it. It's just I remember. that he did have it. >> Yeah. [laughter]. And then and I don't think this show I.
mean, Terry Matalas is is a diligent. enough showrunner that I don't think he. wants us to forget that Easter egg. >> Yeah. Cuz they put it in the trailer, didn't they? Didn't they put it in like. the first one? Was Or am I just high? I. might be. >> It was might have been a New Rockstars. breakdown of it. I don't know if we've. seen it on Vision Quest yet, but. >> Okay, then ignore me then. >> But I do think it's an important thing. And in So just so we're clear, in the. comics Jocasta is Ultron's wife. He. builds Jocasta modeled off of. Janet Van Dyne because he Hank Pym. created him. He's like, "I'm going to. build something off of your wife." He.
uses like Hope Van Dyne as the. Sorry. He uses like Wasp as a model to. build it. And basically she goes rogue. and becomes her own kind of entity that. is autonomous apart from Ultron. But she. has these specific anatomical features. that this episode I won't. I'll say this. >> as hell. >> [laughter]. >> They They keep certain elements of her. feminine figure in place here. >> It's a It's a female bodied version of. Ultron. It literally is the same metal.
as Ultron. >> She's thick. >> Just just built with hourglass. >> [laughter]. >> I literally went. All right. I said, "Maybe it's not me. >> [laughter]. >> Maybe they knew what they were doing. They're putting this in my brain. They're brainwashing us.". >> what they do is like. These VFX artists have their taste. I'll. say. Jocasta is known in the comics for being. endowed up top. >> Yeah. >> in a way that like you look at the. artists who drew her and you're like, "Come on, guys. Come on. Do we Do we.
have to do this?" Uh yes, they did. And. now the VFX artists are like, "Well, we. won't do that, but we will do that.". And. I don't know. I We're recording this. before the internet has gotten hold of. this design, so I'm curious to see what. the reactions are. But you know, I I. imagine it's going to be similar to. Helen Parr Elastigirl with if I had to. guess. >> If I'm making an AI, I'm going to put. her in a big booty. That's crazy as. hell.
>> that's what they said. >> They just. bigger. >> [laughter]. >> Can we. >> bigger. >> Winnie the Pooh was just like. >> [laughter]. >> They said the. >> I have one note. Can we. >> And the guy went. >> like, yes, sir. >> He said. >> [laughter]. >> The job the script says big ass. >> [laughter]. >> I love Jocasta. Jocasta's badasses in. this. I love Jocasta. >> a lot of fun. Tanea Miller's performance. is incredible. She's really good.
>> I'm and it sucks knowing that she's not. going to be here long. >> I think she will. I think we're going to. love her for a little bit. >> I hope she's Okay, I don't want her to. This is me just being, you know, me. I. don't want her to end up being like. Ultron's bride. I don't think they're going to do that, but I do want her to stay a part of this. somehow. And I'm like, I don't know. she's not I she's too rogue to want to. willingly be one of Ultron or Vision's. AIs in his brain. So it's like who's she. going to be in the in the normal world. going forward? I don't think it can be. anything. I don't know, but I hope so. I. love Jocasta. She's so cool.
>> Yeah. Um I so I if they're going to be. truer to the comics, you know, if Tony. Stark made Ultron uh like it might have. been Tony Stark made the body of Jocasta. off of Pepper Potts or something like. that or Ultron made the body of Jocasta. off of like Tony's bride off of Pepper. Potts, which would be very weird, very. weird. I'll say that. >> could it not be the science the real. CEO's body that it's just modeled after, too? >> Oh, I mean, yeah. Yeah, I do think it's.
like her personality. It's just like I'm. trying to see whether they're going to. just go with this rule that they have of. like their their AI likeness of when. they project as a human, it looks like. the person that the builder built the. face of. >> we originally made, it could be made off. of anyone's image. >> the body is just purely function. I. don't think Ultron's body was inspired. by anyone's body, you know. Uh he just wanted to be broad-shouldered. and sturdy. And [laughter] And I think. uh Joe Costa has a similar.
function over form or both. Form over. function. I'm not going to. I'm not going to analyze it. >> uh I think they are kind of trying to. pull away from that comic lore of just. like. >> [laughter]. >> take the brainwaves of my wife. Like I. think they're trying to pull away from. that cuz it is the weirdest part of the. comics uh to be like, "Yeah, he kind of. abducts her and then puts his her brains. in here." And then we kind of do that. with Wonder Man too. And it's kind of. like, "I don't know. We need to stop. taking people's brainwaves and putting. them in robots. We're just making. duplicates of them in robot form.". >> [laughter].
>> Uh a subplot in this episode features. Vision and Ultron disguising themselves. as Interpol detectives to investigate. these Butcher Bird murders and uncover. some of this information. Uh they find. out that these three victims were. connected to the Mark Ridge Biotech and. Stark Industries. Uh there's a. collection of investigative articles and. clues that they used to reconstruct this. history. Um yeah, these five researchers. developed this AI to and they. specifically were part of a biotech. company, which I find to be interesting. cuz their whole thing was like, "We need. to teach this synthetic intelligence to. feel, to have empathy and bedside manner.
to assist with healthcare, to solve to. cure diseases." Which I found to be an. interesting commentary on how a lot of. people selling AI to us right now are. like, "It's going to cure cancer. Meanwhile, we're going to sell it to. these companies to make workflow. faster." Like, "Okay, great. But can we. do the first thing? Can we get it to. like cure diseases first before we do. these things?". >> Tony Stark was like, "I'm going to help. the world." And then made one that just. ended up taking over all the other ones. And then it made this Sokovia thing. happen. So it's like I feel like every.
AI that they're going to create in the. MCU is always going to go bad. But these. ones these guys knowingly were like. doing bad. I don't think Tony had it. like he was trying to do good. He simply. was trying to do good. He was trying to. go back. These people were actually. [ __ ]. >> [laughter]. >> Um but as they try to hack I I found it. interesting that like they're going. through the Interpol like mindscape of. Interpol is still clearly in the. mindscape house. Like it's in Ultron's. attic and I they didn't try to hide. that. It's not like they reused the set. bones and then redecorated it. No, that's clearly Vision's or Ultron's.
window. That's Ultron's elevator with. the multicolored stained glass around. it. I think the idea is that Vision's. mindscape only has one architectural. base and then you can repopulate it with. other things you're hacking. But I I. just found that to be interesting that. they didn't build a new set. They just. kind of put new furniture in there. But. there's a captcha joke that I found to. be very funny. There's like password. trial votes where they're going to get. shot with malware. Sir Jabba the Mutt is. a great dog name in there.
Um. and yeah, we find out that Jocasta's. been going CEO by CEO draining their. blood a liter of blood stealing her. fingerprints not just put a piece of. tape on it but like ripping off her. skin. Ripping their skins off. >> Uh uh popping their eye out. >> like Loki and then um she wants to take. basically Mary McDonald's face. We're. the whole back half of this episode is. at this gala where there's a whole bunch. of [ __ ] where like. they're arguing in in Italian. >> Italian, yeah. >> to get Lisa Molinari to pick some.
pockets using her whole trick of like. fake arms. She has like fake like. literal fake prop arms. It all works and. it's you know what? I'm enjoying it. It. reminds me a lot of like Inglourious. Basterds where they're like. they're using their Italian to to bicker. and and it's I I very much enjoyed this. Everyone's looking good, too. Everyone. knows how to work this suit, you know. They're working the event. And we learn. a bit about Caterina Wells, which is. Mary McDonald's character, the last. surviving CEO of this group. who is basically lecturing everyone on.
the benefits of AI and how it's just a. natural step in the computing evolution. She talks a bit about Jim Hammond and I. think the mystery of Jim Hammond and it. to be the big mystery for the next two. episodes. The original AI and even um. Jarvis talks a little bit about it. He's. like, "Well, created by Phineas Horton, you know, he he had his emotions. unstable. He didn't have a mind stone.". And then uh Tommy's like, "Well, he. didn't have a family." You know, what is. the important grounding force for these.
AI to keep them from just going crazy? Do they need a a community to keep them. in check or do they need some kind of. divine intelligence? There's an. interesting debate there on like how we. solve the AI problem of how they're. going to be unempathetic. And they might. go crazy. >> is going to help that. >> Well, it's got to be some kind of human. force. >> unfortunately. >> it's like a human gatekeeper. It's a. human friend. It's someone who's like. constantly not trying to just like set. it and forget it, but someone who's. going to be like. operating it constantly and attentively.
I don't I don't know if Terry Matalas. even has an answer for it. But um but. like either way, yeah, next episode. we're going to get the Jim Hammond. questions. Um but yeah, basically. Jocasta shows up. She crashes the party. We find out that she wants these bio. keys. It sounds like she wants each of. these chunks of human tissue to access. the inner core archives of the Mark. Ridge Group to regain control over this. algorithm. I guess either to delete. herself or free herself. We don't get. firm answers to why she needs these. chunks of human tissue to do these.
things. But basically. because. uh Vision cannot defeat Jocasta, we get. to see Tommy's speedster powers, which. is very fun. But Vision cannot do it. So. he gives the wheel to Ultron. My favorite moment of this episode. Uh. Ultron Paul Bettany first off does an. incredible James Spader physical. impression. He got he has the mannerisms. down and hearing James Spader's voice. come out of Paul Bettany's mouth is just. like incredible. Like this is exactly. this it's kind of like what um Ultra.
Vision was in What If, right? He just he. completed his plan to use Ultra or. Vision's body, but it is. Ultron's voice coming out of that body. and we get to see it in live action and. I'm just overjoyed at this moment. Him. using Mary McDonald as a human shield to. fry her. >> I mean he did the job. He did the job. He did it. He He said, "Hey, we can't. let her get these. these fingerprints. Let me just make. sure you. >> No face. >> you get rid of this entire body. >> I'm a bummed that like President Laura. Roslin only gets to be in one episode of.
this show because I think Mary. McDonald's just incredible. >> Yeah, I I mean it's a good smoking gun. cuz you assume she's going to be here. for a while longer. >> bad. I thought we were going to I. thought she was going to be the. client but nope. >> that right in front of that that pipe or. whatever [laughter] it was. >> Yeah, that's that's why. that's why Terry Matalas is like, "Don't. even guess her for the client." Like you. know, don't even try. >> See, it was a I love that. I love I love. that scene. >> Um we uh a lot of things get established. this episode that each of the the AI in.
Jarvis's head are based off of people in. Tony Stark's life. So, we already knew. that about Edwin Jarvis. >> Jarvis. >> we learn that like. uh. basically Friday was Howard Stark's gal. Friday, Allison Hogan. Now, my theory is. that Happy Hogan's mom, Happy Hogan's. sister. They gave her the last name of. Hogan and who is Tony Stark's head of. security or driver? Happy Hogan. Like. she's got to be connected to Happy Hogan. in some way. Uh Edith Poor Edith was.
Edith Marks, an Amelia Earhart-style. test pilot whose husband Lieutenant. Edward Marks also crashed in a flight. right before their like honeymoon trip. near New Jersey. Why does all this [ __ ]. happen in New Jersey? >> I don't know. Why can't you guys come to. LA? >> Jersey is Camp Lehigh, Jersey's. Westview. >> Come here. Come over here. We got We got. She-Hulk. >> We got Edwards Air Force Base. We got. the Alchemax prison. No, not Alchemax. >> No, not Alchemax. We have a. DDC Yeah, we have the supermax prison. We have the supermax prison over here.
>> We got A GREAT PRISON OVER HERE? >> OUT IN THE DESERT? [laughter] YEAH. >> YEAH, IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE? >> WE GOT Wonderman's uh. >> Oh, we're so boring. >> Yeah. >> Oh, god. >> Not as many exciting. >> thing we have is Ant-Man, and that's not. even in LA. >> [laughter]. >> But we don't learn why Ultron looks like. James Spader, which I find to be an. interesting question. I think that's. going to be a mystery for why Ultron has. this appearance of celebrated TV star. and movie star James Spader with a giant. ass beard. I think this show will answer. that question. Cuz he just kind of. mysteriously says, "It suits me." And.
they kind of leave it there, but I think. we're going to learn. I think we're. going to learn in the series that like. no it's specific why he has to look like. James Spader. >> That's funny. >> It's going to be a meta thing, but I. think James Spader is like a huge TV. star in Boston Legal and The Blacklist. like in The Office. And I think this. show is going to. >> Do Do we know yet if James Spader exists. in the MCU as James Spader? >> Okay. >> do know that what's-his-name does. actually exist in the MCU and that he. was actually just the Mandarin the. entire time. Or what's uh who plays the.
Mandarin? Ben Kingsley's character. >> Oh, yes. Trevor. >> Slattery Trevor Slattery's in-universe. version of Ben Kingsley. And every role. Ben Kingsley had in reality in our real. world, Trevor Slattery had in the MCU. >> I don't know if they've ever [snorts]. referenced The Office or ever referenced. Blacklist. >> done The Office. >> MCU. Yeah, they've referenced other kind. of like non-Disney IP before. >> It'd be insane for them though to say. like yeah I chose James Spader and no.
one has acknowledged that before yet. >> I haven't looked through the IMDb. archives, but I think they're. statistically. as big as the MCU is now with all these. different shows that are part of the. MCU, some James Spader project got. referenced. >> Probably, yeah. Probably. >> Something that he was in or something. that he was part of. I I wouldn't surprise me. Um but yes, right now this episode ends. with him wrapping his arm around Tommy. going off for talk. Ultron is now in. charge of the of the Vision body. He.
trapped He's basically locked out. Vision, Friday, Edith, Dummy, and you, and they are passengers in his Ship of. Theseus now. And I loved how this. episode ended. I I really liked both of. these episodes. Obviously, I. complained about Paladin a bit too much, but overall, I'm really loving how. twisty this show is and how much they're. playing with the whole body swapping. stuff with uh just the nature of the. existentialist nature of the Ship of. Theseus debates. And this is We end with.
just an incredible application of that. argument of. who is What is the Ship of Theseus? And. Ultron is saying from the very. beginning, "Be the goddamn king. It. doesn't matter what the ship is. It. matters who's piloting the ship." And. so, he is the captain now, and I. couldn't be happier. And that's where we. leave episode 4. Um I guess so, my questions coming out. of this is. you know, we've we've addressed uh. like that there might be some mystery as. why he has to look like James Spader,
but what do we think Ultron's plan is. now? Like. is it It's not just escape? It's Is it control? >> I think first step is escape. Um and I. think we just did the first step. I. think he's always I That's why I. theorized that he was trying to take. over Vision's body cuz he's like, "I. need to I need a vessel. I need to get. out." So, I do think his first is to. escape. I think the real question is. after he escapes successfully, what is. his mission? And that I don't know. because I don't like the line of him.
being like, "I could blow up the world. or I could be in a museum." Cuz I'm. like, "Are you just going to sit in a. museum?" Cuz I could see this new Ultron. just sitting in a museum and just. wanting to experience life not within. side the confines of [ __ ] Vision's. head. >> Yeah. So, that's why I'm like, I don't. think we will know yet what his ultimate. goal is. I think we can put pieces. together and theorize, right? Like I. think he does I think you're right, where he does have like. some sort of like, not attraction is not. the right word, but something about. Jocasta. Like.
>> He's fascinated by. >> Fascinated, yeah. He's fascinated by. her. And I think it's because she does. live to that kind of motto that he. explains of like. um what does he say? He says like. basically how like um humans need to be. fixed or something or he doesn't say it. in this, but we knew that was like his. motivation was like we need to make this. a better place. And he didn't mind. killing people to do that. And Jocasta's. doing that. >> Yeah, he said this line in episode four. where he's where Vision's like, "Well, what's your solution? Are you just going. to go in and kill her without any hope. for redemption?" And Ultron's like, "No, on the contrary, I support anyone who.
raises the banner for our kind.". >> Yes. >> Which okay, now we're hearing the 2015. era Ultron of like he believes humans. are flawed, he wants AI to replace it, he wants AI to do a better job nurturing. and taking care of this planet, and. believes humanity he believes humanity. is a plague. So, I think that's part I. mean, Ultron we're seeing Ultron. completing his plan that we that he. wanted to do in Age of Ultron. He wanted. to operate Vision's body. So, check. And.
what is his next step? Throw another asteroid-sized city at the. planet? Like. >> But that's like step like 20. He's got. to go baby steps. >> I think he wants to create We're seeing. a new era of Ultron that he loves art, he loves sitcoms, and I do think he. wants to use AI to enslave humanity. I. think he thinks he can use AI algorithms. and brainwaves to kind of do what Wanda. did. And what she had in Westview, he. wants I still think he wants to expand. WandaVision around the world and call it.
UltronVision or something like that. And. he doesn't see it as a TV show, he views. it as a reality that he can be king of. >> Mhm. >> And then kind of turn it into. perfection, like his section of. Battleworld, you know? I don't know if. we're ever going to get a reference to. Secret Wars or Doomsday in this show, I'd be surprised. The countdown to Doom. thing Terry Matalas confirmed was just. like uh a text-based video game. >> Okay. >> from 1982. Um but but I I do think. Ultron just loves WandaVision. And when. I mentioned that to Terry, he kind of.
got a little smile on his face. So, I. think we're going to get something like. that on this show. >> Yeah. >> But I don't know. I was dead wrong last. week about the Jocasta of it all. >> What What was your Jocasta. >> Well, I thought, you know, didn't we. think that Ultron was using Jocasta to. kill these characters? >> I know. Yeah, I see what you mean. She. was doing her own thing. She's doing her. own thing. But I do think there is room. that cuz it's like Ultron's still smart. I think that the four You put four Well, five including dumb you. If you put five. AIs in a room, they're going to figure. out how to get back out. And I think. they're going to figure out how to take.
control over the body and put Ultron. back into the attic. I think in that. time though, Ultron is going to try. talking to Tommy. He's absolutely going. to try having a heart-to-heart with. Jocasta to be like, "You're actually not. in the wrong. You were actually right. And I can help you, but I'm stuck in. this person's body. And he is going to. fight to get out, so you have to help me. first." And I think that might still be. a a situation that could come into play. And it could still be Jocasta helping um. Ultron eventually. Cuz I do think. Jocasta's going to be a bad person. >> [laughter]. >> I think Jocasta's going to be a bad guy. Especially now that she's like, "I can't.
get into that [ __ ] I can't get into. it. You killed the woman that I needed.". Um also, that woman's dumb to be like, "Oh, this all these all my friends are. dying. I'm not going to die. Let's have. a gala.". That was a trap. You were going to die, my girl. >> Maybe she wanted to. >> Yeah, maybe she wanted to. >> Maybe this is how she wanted to go. >> In front of everybody. >> hear Mary McDonald's disembodied voice. in an AI system. She's like, "Now I've. reached my final form.". >> Oh god. Oh yeah, but what What if they. turn her into an AI and they're like, "How do you like it? >> If it.
If it gets us more Mary McDonald, I'm. down. >> Maybe. >> I I think what we'll learn is that. Jocasta in the MCU was made by Tony. Stark. I think they are going to bring. back that that that card in the drawer. that he had in Age of Ultron where we. saw Jocasta in the background. I don't. think they're going to erase that. And I. do think that we're going to learn that. like Jocasta was like a backup to Ultron. that Tony Stark did build in case. anything went haywire with Ultra or. maybe he wanted Ultron originally his. idea was to marry it with like an.
empathetic form that was based off of. the best of these five researchers that. Stark Industries acquired. I'm not. saying this is like noble or moral what. Tony Stark did, but maybe he's like. there is a really empathetic beautiful. artist because oh, another detail I saw. on the newspaper thing they talked about. Joe Carringtion as an artist. Like in. her obituary she is described as always. having an easel or a paintbrush in hand. So, I think there is a part of Ultron's. code that was meant to be linked with.
Jocasta. And that unfortunately Tony and. Banner stupidly plugged the mind stone. in there and then that divine insight. just kind of overloaded Ultron to just. rapidly get out of control, but. originally the idea was Ultron and. Jocasta were going to work together to. run the world. And um. and that Jocasta that was the original. programming, but Jocasta. you know, left to her own devices kind. of became this haunting voice. And I'm.
not saying Tony Stark built this robot. body cuz is Tony Stark an ass man? We'll. never know. We can't ask him. But maybe. someone else did using Stark tech using. [clears throat] Tony's blueprints and. that that's what we're going to learn. about Jocasta in this world that I think. she was part of this tradition of of. Tony Stark because I I I think if if. they re-assigned the creation of Ultron. from. Hank Pym to Tony Stark, I think they're. going to say they re-assign the creation.
of. Jocasta from like Ultron in the image of. Janet Van Dyne to just Tony Stark. makes sense. >> I have not seen episodes 5, 6, 7, or 8. I do not know. >> That'd be a crazy reveal if they were. like, "Yeah, Jocasta was actually meant. to be the AI for Pepper's suit and then. he gave up.". >> Or or then he just built the Rescue. armor, something that wasn't did not. have its own AI. Because it seems like. didn't the Rescue armor in Endgame have. Friday? >> Yeah, that's what I Well, that's what I. thought. But I also didn't know I don't. know. We didn't really I didn't spend a. lot of time with. >> [laughter].
>> with Pepper. >> Yeah. >> But I could see that. >> So, uh. but we'll see. Again, my theories are. all over the place in this [laughter]. show. And um but I like that we're. starting to answer questions fast on. this show. I I like that. I you know, I. I had mixed feelings about whether. clumping in episode 1 and 2 and then 3. and 4 were really good. It's been. exhausting as we're trying to cover. these shows two episodes at a time. because it's like. these are dense episodes. But. ultimately, what each episode is.
actually doing, I think it's been a. smart decision. >> It feels like every the first one always. lays up the second one very nicely to. the degree that I want them both bundled. together, not separately separate weeks. Uh cuz it feels like you get the. heightened reveal of Jocasta possessing. them at the end of this episode 3. And. then I have to the next week, I get. episode 4 and I'm like, I don't have. that same adrenaline as I did as the. reveal that just happened last week. >> Um the last uh point I'll bring up is is. maybe a spoiler, something about Jim. Hammond. If you want to stop watching.
the episode, you can stop watching this. episode now. Thank you so much for. watching. Okay, a promo for future. episodes of Vision Quest revealed that. Jim Hammond will be played by Paul. Bettany. Paul Bettany is also playing. the Jim Hammond form. We didn't see his. face in the earlier trailers where we. saw someone on fire in the in the. library, but they put it as the. thumbnail on YouTube, Marvel Studios. did. So, they're not trying to hide it. They want us to. speculate that the reason why. uh. Vision looked like Paul Bettany instead.
of looking like Jarvis, James D'Arcy, is. that. in the MCU, the face of Paul Bettany. originally belonged to JIM, to Jim, created by Phineas Horton. Um, and that when when Vision was. created, like he just had the voice of. Paul Bettany, but he he was born with. that particular handsome, thin face. because that was the face of Jim. Hammond. >> Okay. >> So, we're going to see Bettany versus. Bettany in some more scenes. >> Yeah. >> I think this is going to be a fun bit of.
like history where we learn that like. when Steve Rogers, skinny Steve, and. Bucky Barnes were walking through the. Stark Expo in 1943, that they looked up. and saw Paul Bettany's face. >> Oh, there he is. >> Um, I think this will be fun. I I don't. know if this is going to be an episode. five and six thing or an episode seven. or eight thing. I don't know. Yeah, I. think it's a like a fun way to link this. show back to the phase one of the MCU. >> I think it's nice. >> And I like this rule a lot. I like this. idea that like. the these AI voices were based off of. real people or based off of.
things that existed. >> Yeah, it makes sense. I I care about it. a lot with Friday. >> Yeah. >> And with Jarvis. I cuz Jar- that I think. that's very sweet and touching, Jarvis. being the butler being the butler. [laughter]. But, um, but Dummy and Dum-E, I don't. think their faces are really on. anything. >> I love all of these. these little synth voices. I like all of. them have these little moments to shine. Like after episodes one and two, it was. like Ultron and uh. Ultron and.
and EDITH and the rest could burn, if. you ask me. But now, like Dummy and U, like the artistic flair that these two. have is beautiful. >> want them to be mute. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, you prefer them not talking. >> the reveal once. It was a funny bit, and. now that he's like, "Let's get into AI.". And the other one's like, "I don't know. what that is." I was like, "Okay.". >> [laughter]. >> I was hoping for a second that Dummy. could only speak in literary quotes. >> Oh, that'd have been funny. >> Or or in rhymed verse of some kind. >> That'd be fun. >> And and uh you could only say one word.
idiotic responses and then sing. >> That would have been fun. >> Every other time? >> Yeah, play around with it a little bit. more. >> I like a little bit of limitation. Yeah. >> I I like when they were playing with We. talked about it, the captcha. I love. when they were playing with like stupid. things that are really clearly obvious. I was like, "Oh yeah, this is really. fun." That would have been a fun thing. to approach with them is just like. kind of saying the quote wrong. Kind of saying it wrong. Mm, yeah. I. feel like they could have played, which. maybe will happen later in the episodes, they could play more to the AI part of. it uh more than like. the political awareness of AI, if that.
makes sense. >> Yeah, I don't even think like uh when I. asked Terry about how much of a. commentary he wants to make about AI, he. kind of I don't say he ducked the. question cuz he seems to have some. pretty firm opinions about what it can. and can't and should and shouldn't do. Um but like I think when it comes to. this show, he's saying, "Well, this show. was written and developed in 2024 and. then even in 2026, the exact arguments we're having about. AI now are not even what we were talking. about back in 2024." I humbly disagree. I think there are certain things about.
generative AI that are just as relevant. then as they were 4 years ago, 5 years. ago. I think in 2022, we were even. talking about like the threat of. generative AI and AI slop. And while. there are certain things about AI like. generative video AI, like we call. There's a lot of people who just call. everything AI AI slop. And I think if. you're talking about like the ethics of. it, if you want to call it slop, fine. I. I think you have an argument there. Uh. but I think just like there is like AI. video that like. I don't think people can really see the.
difference of it. Maybe you're only. focusing on the slop that gets thrown. around on social media, but like it's. scary. It is freaking scary how like. how much they can replicate some of. these things. >> don't think they're talking about that a. lot in this show. I think if there's. details that have it, like I think if I. think there's a really fun rich. commentary on the fact of. Ultron being an artist. Uh I think. that's really fun to think about because. I want to give him his own flowers and. be like, "No, he's a man that pays. attention to these things, but he's also. still an AI. So, it's like whatever he's.
generating is just replicating something. else.". So, I'm always like, "Oh, I would love. for this to be approached like. as cynical as he is, they could also. throw curveballs back at him and be. like, "You're also an AI. What are you. talking about? YOU'RE JUST AS STUPID AS. US." [laughter]. Uh there's sometimes I'm like, "Friday, hold it down. Talk back to him. He's. being [ __ ] mean.". >> [laughter]. >> Friday, come on, girl. Get your ass in. the game. Um I wish they I can't wait. till I It's going to be Edith. Edith is. going to go off on him one time.
>> I think so. >> She already half did. I like the. response. >> She's the She's the most fearless of. them, I think. >> Yeah, she's not afraid of dying. >> All right. So, we'll leave it there for. this episode uh discussion about three. and four. Our Easter egg breakdown of. these two episodes is coming to the. channel tomorrow. So, be sure to watch. that. It's going to be a very dense, very interesting video. I think you'll. like it. Now, next week, episode five, Firewall, and episode six, Deadlock, will be coming out. Um I'm very excited to see what those. mean, what those titles mean. Uh when. are we going to see Raza on the show?
He's going to show up at some point. Uh. we want to thank all of you for joining. us. A special thanks to one of our. members, Patrick Daley, for supporting. us at the executive producer level. >> [music]. >> Hey.
