New Doomsday Trailer + Ghost Rider + Black Panther Recast! Marvel Comic Con Panel Breakdown!

The new Black Panther T'Challa II is. David Johnson, Ghost Rider Ryan Gosling, a new Avengers Doomsday trailer that. scared the crap out of me, and Ryan. Reynolds' Deadpool teasing jeans that. are gray. This is a breakdown of. everything that I saw, heard, and. learned from Marvel Studios Hall H panel. in 2026. Welcome back to New Rockstars. I'm Eric Voss, and I literally just got. out of Marvel's Hall H panel at San. Diego Comic-Con. And in this video, I'm. going to break down all of the big. announcements, everything announced at. the panel, and what it really means for. the future of the MCU. I have been.

meeting so many amazing fans here in San. Diego, and a special thanks to the ones. who chose to wear gear from our merch. store, nerdriot.shop. The first. major announcement of the panel was a. trailer for Avengers: Endgame Encore, of. course, the re-release of Avengers: Endgame coming September 25th, 2026. It. was really a bunch of highlights from. Avengers: Endgame, from the portal. moment in which Sam radios to Cap, and.

from there, it really focused largely. not on Thanos, but on the time heist and. the Avengers mission to find the six. stones throughout history. We also get. the shot of Steve right as he was about. to go make his journey to return those. stones. We specifically hear Tony's line. from Endgame, >> You mess with time, it tends to mess. back. >> It really seems like a trailer edited to. make us think about the consequences of. the Avengers actions in that movie and. how those actions set the stage for. Doomsday. Feige didn't reveal anything. further about Encore here, but we know. that it will have a new opening and a.

new surprise at the end, like. potentially a post-credit scene or a. scene from Doomsday, and maybe a. restored deleted sequence, like that. trench argument in the middle of the. final battle. Next, we learned that Ryan. Gosling was officially cast as the MCU's. Ghost Rider. Gosling came out on stage. to the 2019 remaster of the 1977 song. Ghost Rider by proto-punk band by this. name that I can't say on social media. Gosling said that Ghost Rider was a. character he's wanted to play for a long. time. >> No, this is a character I've wanted to. play for a very long time. >> Yeah. >> Wow.

So, Kevin. Hall H. Thank you. >> And for the director, Kevin Feige. mentioned that he had seen a full cut of. Star Wars Starfighter. Yes, apparently. that movie coming out in May 2027 is. done. And Feige and Disney are so. impressed with that movie and some fresh. new thing that was brought to it to hire. its director, Shawn Levy, director of. Deadpool and Wolverine, to direct the. MCU Ghost Rider. We don't know if it's. going to be Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider. exactly, but it's coming in 2028.

>> That's right. So, guys, we'll see you in. 2028. >> say when in 2028. Since Black Panther. 3's release date is December 15th, 2028, I would think that would put Ghost Rider. either in that May 5th, 2028 spot if. something else doesn't take it, or July. 28th, 2028, which is currently one of. the TBD Marvel movie dates that were. reserved by Disney. Next, Jon Bernthal. came out on stage to try to get Feige to. talk about Spider-Man: Brand New Day. even though the movie's coming out in 5. days. >> Friday, July 31st. That's the future, right? >> Uh this Friday, yes, we do have a movie.

coming out this Friday. >> A movie, yeah. >> Yes. >> And and and which film is that, sir? >> They showed a scene from Brand New Day. It's the scene where Spider-Man teams up. with Frank Castle to fight Hulk that. you've seen bits of in trailers. But we. learned some interesting context. The. Hulk in this scene is not fully Savage. Hulk, it's Smart Hulk, the 7-ft 5 one, looking more like Mark Ruffalo, his blue. sweater stretched but still on. Yet, he. is still beating the crap out of Peter. Parker, smashing him into the floor of. this ruined DODC building, we think. So, since Smart Hulk is supposed to still.

have his wherewithal, it must be Sadie. Sink's character controlling him in this. scene. Frank unloads his machine gun at. this Hulk to repel him, but then we get. that big awesome trailer shot of Spidey. whipping Frank and then dragging him. under both of them as Hulk makes this. big jump and Frank continues to shoot. Now, Frank grabs a grenade that's part. of the advanced alien weaponry that the. DODC has confiscated, and he throws it. and Bruce catches it, and Sadie Sink's. character speaking as him says, "Really?" And boom! Then there's this. very quick chat between Frank and.

Spidey. Peter's like, "You were supposed. to stay home and watch MJ." And Frank's. like, "Yeah, but she told me to go and. watch you." And Peter's like, "Did she. really say that?" And Frank's like, "Are. you blushing, Daffodil?" Next, they plot. out about how they're going to take down. the Hulk. Frank's like, "Spider-Man, you. go back and hold back the Hulk. I'll go. get the source and take that down.". Which, of course, is really just Frank's. way of not having to fight the Hulk. Next, of course, Kevin Feige brought out. the Russo brothers to talk about. Avengers Doomsday, which took the most. of this not even hour-long panel. It was. actually more like 45 minutes or so. And. this Doomsday chunk was about like, you.

know, 25 minutes of it. They actually. did a nice thing for the Hall H crowd by. turning the back row of the room into. the front row, revealing the cast on two. stages in the back of the room. On the X. stage, Teyonah Parris, Hannah John. Kamen, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Rebecca Romijn, Kelsey Grammer, and. James Marsden. On the A stage, Letitia. Wright, Winston Duke, Simu Liu, Danny. Ramirez, Anthony Mackie, and Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, and Chris Hemsworth not. on the stage. And then on the front. stage, Pedro Pascal, Hayley Atwell, and. Chris Evans. Hayley Atwell's. interesting. This is the first time I. think the studio has officially.

confirmed that Peggy Carter will be in. this movie. And then Robert Downey Jr. came out on the stage wearing a blazer. and a shirt marked with Doom's runes and. his magical sigil. Can't wait to break. those down. At this point, all the cast. walked down the aisles joining each. other on stage, and they start to do. this Q&A thing that ended up with them. talking to a guy in the crowd with. swords, Ryan Reynolds in a Deadpool. suit, a gray denim Deadpool suit, something Ryan Reynolds called Jean Pool. on social media. And I think it was him. trolling the Jean Grey reveal that is. coming soon, but he made no verbal.

reference to it here. Either way, we saw. what you did there. Here was the. exchange. >> All right, Mr. Paul Rudd, where is Thor, and why was he crying? >> Where is Thor? >> Yes. >> And why is why is Thor crying? Why was. he crying? >> [laughter]. >> Uh he's a Wrexham fan. >> [cheering].

>> Paul Rudd was referencing the recent. loss by Wrexham, Ryan Reynolds football. club, then the exchange went on. >> This seems an awfully expensive way to. announce a film. Uh. when do you start filming? Uh. wait. >> Doomsday? >> Doomsday? It's Tuesday. When when does. that start shooting? >> It's in the can, bro. Look around you. Did you bump your head? >> I see. So there's no additional photography, no.

overages, hot costs, maybe. last-minute additions. You know I don't. >> We keep making the movie until they pry. it out of our hands, so. >> No further questions. Uh. Happy Hogan? That's the Audi. We're leaving. >> [cheering]. >> Ladies and gentlemen, RYAN REYNOLDS. >> [cheering].

>> THE INDOMITABLE. RYAN. REYNOLDS. >> [cheering]. >> So really the bit here is that Deadpool. wants to be in Avengers Doomsday, but. the cast said that they already wrapped. it. Anthony did say that they're going. to keep reworking this movie until. December, so who knows. But I do think. we'll see Deadpool either in Doomsday, more likely Secret Wars. Ryan Reynolds. did already indicate earlier in the week. another Deadpool movie is also in the. works. Then Kevin Feige showed the new.

Doom poster and an exclusive trailer. shown to attendees. Maybe you saw a. version of it leak online before it was. removed, and I will break down what I. saw in it in a separate video that's. going to come in the next 24 hours to. the New Rock Stars channel, but here's a. quick summary. Sue Storm is narrating. about what she knows about Victor Von. Doom, how she saw him as the smartest. guy in every room, how he used to be. kind and caring before everything he. loved was taken away from him. Yeah, it. sounds like there is some history from. the 828 universe with this guy. Sue has. a tear trickling down her cheek as she. talks to a combination of Magneto,

Gambit, Steve Rogers. It also looks like. a location that has Namor, Shang-Chi, Shuri, M'Baku, and Sam Wilson, and Thor. Then we see the green eyes of Robert. Downey Jr. as Doom looking out through. his mask at that huge tapestry portrait. of what I now assume are his dead wife. and dead daughter. And Sue says, "I knew. he was lost, but I did not realize he. was broken." We see the ruins of some. landscape that I couldn't really make. out, but Reed Richards says quietly, "Victor, did you do this?" Then we see. that shot of Scott with Cassie and a. different angle of Johnny Storm holding.

Franklin Richard, and it's definitely. the same actor from the first steps. post-credit scene. Then we hear this. chilling line from Victor as he says, "All of you have lived stolen lives, and. now you must give them back." And we see. Steve with his baby and Thor with Love, and other Marvel heroes just looking. terrified. And then Doom quickly just. bursts out of a building and sticks the. superhero landing, moving faster than I. ever thought he could. And now Reed is. furious screaming, "Did you do this?". And now we see Thor landing and we hear. what he says as he's approaching Doom. with Stormbreaker. Thor's like, "I swear.

you will beg for hell long before I. grant it." And Doom, at this point, catches Stormbreaker, just kind of. flings it aside with his green sorcery, and then just pushes Thor back as he. says, "Hell answers to me." And then he. uses his sorcery to resurrect at least. six, from my count, sentinels as they. rise. And he says, "I am Doom.". It was a pretty cool trailer, and I'm. going to dig into it more in another. video. But after they showed it, the. Russo said they still have more work to. do for Doomsday and didn't mention. anything about Avengers: Secret Wars.

So, I'll get to that more later. But to. close out the panel, Kevin Feige had one. more thing and brought out Ryan Coogler. to talk about Black Panther 3. Release. date December 15th, 2028. Seems for now. that Marvel Studios is sticking with. December releases. Ryan Coogler brought. out on stage Letitia Wright and Winston. Duke saying that his cast would be in. Avengers: Doomsday before being in his. movie. And then came the big. announcement, the new Black Panther, the. son of T'Challa, Prince T'Challa Jr. aka. Toussaint, who was introduced as a kid. in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will.

now be a grown-up, a come of age version. of the character in Black Panther 3. played by actor David Johnson. David. Johnson is an incredible [snorts] actor. who gave amazing performances in Alien: Romulus and The Long Walk. So, the. question here is are they first going to. introduce this guy in Secret Wars? Is he. going to be someone who came of age in. Battleworld? Because Coogler did not go. into any details about how T'Challa Jr. will grow up and come of age while. presumably Shuri and M'Baku will stay. roughly the same adult age they've been. in in these past movies and in Doomsday. and Secret Wars. So, I think something's. going to happen in Doomsday and some of.

these kids are going to experience time. dilation when some of these kids just. start living their lives in pieces of. Battleworld. Either way, I think Black. Panther 3 must be after Secret Wars. So, just to round up the release dates as we. know them to be, Spider-Man: Brand New. Day coming this weekend, July 31st, 2026. Avengers: Doomsday coming December. 18th, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars for. now coming December 17th, 2027, but hold. that thought. Ghost Rider coming we. think July 28th, 2028 and Black Panther. 3 coming December 15th, 2028. But, we.

also know X-Men is coming. Jake Schreier. is directing it. They have at least a. draft of a script ready. Kasra Farahani. is a production designer and they're. currently casting the film. I certainly. thought that was going to be the summer. 2028 movie. So, why no announcement. here? Well, one theory is that Kevin. Feige is saving the announcements of the. mutant homecoming to Disney's Marvel. Studios for D23 on August 14th. Because. if Sadie Sink is the mutant Jean Grey in. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they might. just want to wait for 2 weeks after.

Brand New Day comes out to announce. anything about the mutants and the X-Men. because they can't really make that. announcement without CD Zinc being up. there as part of the lineup. We also. know that in the mix is going to be. another Deadpool movie according to Ryan. Reynolds. And here's what Simu Liu said. about a possible Shang-Chi 2. >> The only reason why people even ask. about a sequel is because we have so. many incredible fans that loved the. first one so much and I will never ever. stop being. the most grateful for all of those. people. They're the reason why I'm here. and the reason why we have, you know,

we're even throwing words like sequel. around. Whenever and and wherever the. call comes, I would crawl through a mile. of broken glass on my bare hands um to. do it because I know how much this movie. means to me, but more importantly, I. know how much it means uh to the fans. that loved it. >> We should also acknowledge that Kevin. Feige this week told a Chinese news. outlet that Marvel Studios has currently. charted out the next 16 years to the. year 2042. I think those are all going. to be filled with mutant saga stories in. a somewhat rebooted MCU where there is. an Iron Man alive again, clearly a new.

version of T'Challa, as well as X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Avengers all living. together in one restored universe. More. on all this stuff coming up throughout. the week.
