Tonight, this massive island in the. Arctic, a Danish territory with a. population of only 56,000, is at the. center of a diplomatic drama. Officials. from Denmark and Greenland meeting with. Vice President Vance and Secretary of. State Marco Rubio today at the White. House. >> We had what I will describe as a frank. but also constructive discussion. The. president has made his view clear and we. have a different position. President. Trump wants the US to control Greenland.
