Exxon's Joliet facility is. experiencing a total power outage this. morning, taking off 275,000. barrels a day of refining capacity from. an already strained market. Dated oil is. trading at $122 for Brent. Merban at 131. and Oman at $121. Diesel has reached all-time highs in the. US for three days in a row, now trading.

at $623. a gallon. Oh, and Iran is likely to. escalate again in the Middle East in the. coming days as a result of the Trump. regime continuing to brag about. destroying Iranian civilian cargo. tankers. Nothing suspicious to see here, folks, that Exxon's Joliet facility in Illinois. just experienced a massive power outage. right here with heavy black smoke from. emergency flaring visible for miles.

then there's the human toll. The report. estimates that human-caused outdoor air. pollution was linked to 6.4 4 million. premature deaths worldwide in 2025, with. household air pollution linked to. another 2 million. Researchers estimate. that fully implementing these measures. could prevent 144 million premature. deaths by 2050 while cutting carbon. dioxide emissions roughly in half and. methane emissions by 60%.
