Trump’s CONTRACTOR JUST CONFESSED…

Donald Trump's handpicked contractor. confessed. We did it. We screwed up. It's our fault. That's what numerous. documents say that were obtained by the. New York Times prepared by Atlantic. Industrial Codings. That's the. contractor responsible for the mess. that's taken place in the reflecting. pool, which the Trump regime tried to. frame, a two-time Olympic canoist, David. Hearn. And those charges were dismissed. And in the motion to dismiss, the United.

States Attorney's Office said that it. was an issue with the contractor. But. we're learning more from all of these. documents. The New York Times says these. documents are from the past two months. the daily log that shows Atlantic. industrial coatings saying that we used. incompatible chemicals and poor primer. applications and that's what's been. causing this and we need to change that. in a future contract. This $14.7 million.

project over here is of course gaining a. lot of scrutiny because the Trump regime. tried to frame two-time Olympic GNU. They're still saying it's vandals and. it's the most ridiculous, absurd, deranged, bizarre thing imaginable. I mean, look, at the end of the day, people screw up. in life. They make mistakes. Errors are. made. Just say it, okay, and move on. But the Trump regime is incapable of it. Then there's a broader issue that takes. place. If you're willing to do this with.

the reflecting pool, get obsessed with. it. Screw it up. Cover it up. Go after a. two-time Olympic canoist. Think about. the broader implications. And that's. what we also cover here. Just like in. the reflecting pool, the algae always. comes back. You can't lie your way out. of this and make a bad situation worse, a worse situation, catastrophic, a. catastrophic situation into an. unmititigated disaster and then this. bankrupt mess. Can't be what happens. You got to got to take accountability as. an adult, the grown-up behavior, leadership. We need to talk about it in.

that context. And you think about. Trump's catastrophic war in Iran. It's. just the same thing, but the. implications are supremely graver when. you try to cover up the stuff and then. one disaster gets bigger and bigger and. it snowballs. That's the story of. Trump's life. It's why his casinos have. got amongst many other reasons. It's why. he continues to bankrupt things. We'll. say that. So this is a New York Times. article. contractor blames its own. repairs, not vandals, for reflecting. pool failure. They admit it. That's.

fine. You know what? People make. mistakes. People screw up. What's not. okay is framing people, launching. criminal investigations, acting like a. lunatic, pretending that that's not the. situation. Blaming others, that's not. okay behavior, folks. I don't care what. political party you're from. The. contractor said the pool's new blue. liner peeled and tore because of human. oversight and a flawed plan that. involved layering two incompatible. chemicals. The New York Times goes on to.

say in documents which have not. previously been reported and makes clear. that the contractor found problems in. the design and execution of the. renovations. The documents include. Atlantic's reports to the government as. well as daily progress updates from the. National Park Service over the past two. months. And the Trump regime continues. to say this is caused by vandals. Atlantic blamed its own errors in a. report dated August 14th and then. provided more detail on September 2nd,

the document showed. and the Justice. Department, which charged several people. with vandalizing the pool, began moving. to dismiss cases in July 31. Because of. human oversight, workers in some areas. did not spray enough of the primer that. made the layers of the liner stick. together, Atlantic said in the. documents. But the bigger problem, the. company said, was that the repair plan. laid out in the contract called for the. layers of liner to include two chemicals. that turned out to be incompatible. The. chemical on top reached a temperature.

hotter than what the compound underneath. could withstand, and the heat caused the. bottom layer to blister and come loose. The documents show the contractor said. it had not expected that outcome because. it was very uncommon to mix the two. products in that way. The failure. illustrates the consequence of Trump's. rushed job. Here, the government has. agreed to pay Atlantic $14.7 million for. its work. The contractor said it will. repair the pool, which is under. warranty. Again, Katie Martin, the.

spokeswoman for the interior department, did not directly address the questions. about the contractor's finding, but. issued a statement that appeared to. continue blaming vandals for the damage, saying that they had repeatedly reached. into the pool and ripped out the. coating. Miss Martin said Atlantic was. now well on its way to repairing the. pool, she went on to say. A White House. spokesperson said, "Donald Trump. promised to make DC safe and beautiful, and he's delivering." I'll show you this. quick video right here of what the.

You know, I'm not going. to give you the full $14.7 million.". setting aside the DOJ. We've all worked. with contractors in our life. Our.

viewers may be contractor. We know. things happen. That's life. You know, like like life happens, okay? And the. deranged part about this all is the. contractor admits they did it. They say. we screwed up. We messed up. Uh we all. know it. We all saw it. Yet the Trump. regime turned the reflecting pool into. an issue that's a constitutional crisis. where they look like the biggest losers. not just here but abroad over this stuff. and it's like so there's all these. broader issues at play too but Harry.

This is Donald Trump saying his personal. contractor was going to do great stuff. And now we hear from the contractor not. only responsibly saying we messed up and. we'll make it right, which is what you. expect a business to do. But you know, we had never put these two chemicals. together. And it turns out one's burned. the other. It's the reflecting pool that. Trump has has made such a big deal about. it. Maybe somewhere somehow you run a. little test on how those two chemicals.

are going to work together. But I. digress. It is just as you say a. straightforward human judgment. That's. the uh that's what they say, errors in. judgment. That's what happened. And for. you know that we're talking about the. last couple months these documents that. the Times acquired and they include sort. of daily reports. So you have such a um. schizophrenia as as is pretty common. within the department. Here are the.

facts. The facts are clear. The facts. are routine. The facts are unsurprising. And in this never say die way for. something that has nothing to do with. the facts, only has to do with the. politics, you have this this proven uh. lie just somehow, you know, resuscitated. and they're trying to blow air on it. The Interior Department, as you say, after all of this has come out, after. Janine Verau has it out with Bergam in.

the White House and says they gave bad. information, we now have the contractor. saying here's what happened. And the. spokesperson for Interior just just says. with no evidence, a propo to nothing. It. was vandals and they were they were. tearing and scraping at it. you know, that's just the uh maintenance of what. is clear to everyone is is just a a lie. And and no, but and but it's not just.

interior. So, you may have seen, I don't. know if you reported to the Midas Mighty. that uh they're looking uh to not. everyone agrees we got to dismiss the. cases the case against uh David Hearn. who we happen to charge without evidence. and completely uh misconstrued, but. they're they're in there saying we we. want it to be without prejudice so we. can bring it again. and and the the sort. of flabbergasted judge Edelstein, we.

think he's going to have an opinion any. uh any day really, maybe even the end of. today, says, "Why would you do that? How. what how what could what could that. possibly be other than a corrupt reason? You've already uh shown that he's an. innocent man. Why would you want to save. that?" And the hapless AOA had just. said, "Well, you never know in the. future." You know, they are Donald Trump. is forcing now that his propaganda point. has been blown out of the water. He's.

nevertheless. forcing people in the administration to. keep it alive. He told Janine Perro, she. choked and uh she should go. He even. even this week he was saying go back. against her. We know the facts are just. not there. Janine Perau may think her. job, you know, uh, hangs by a thread, so. she better not do the right thing and. dismiss a case with prejudice. She.

better, you know, they're doing pretty. draconian things against anyone involved. in the pool. And all of it, all of it. is, it's not just that it's false. It's. demonstrabably false. You have the. contractor saying, "We're the ones who. did it." You have the, you know, Perau. saying they're the ones who did it. Saying it to the court, they're the ones. who did it. But just because for. irrational propagandistic reasons, Trump. wants to keep this um bogus version. alive, you have the government in.

different ways scrambling to put their. chips in behind a lie. There's nothing. to say anymore about her, but they're. saying it anyway. Trump is saying it. anyway. Perau's trying to save her her. job. So it's just been twisted and. corrupted in every way. So rather than. say, "Oops, we got it wrong." You know, five words that you just can never will. never hear this administration say.

That's being a grown-up, man. It's not. being a Democrat or a Republican or. whatever. I've screwed up. You've. screwed up. You know, you write a legal. brief, you miss a page sometimes. You. know, you thought you had it. you know, you missed the deadline accidentally and. you said, "Ah, the parallegal or you. know, or me or whatever the reality is, you you know, lots of things can happen. in your in your practice. Life happens. The buck stops with you. You don't blame.

this person or that person. You say, "I'm the leader. It happened. I screwed. up. That's my team." You know, you know, and we also, we've all, you know, no one. no one is perfect. And this derange. behavior. and this denial of reality is something. we really have to grapple with, you. know, as a as a country. It's why. ultimately though, you know, when you. have a case that goes through a trial. and it gets tested and evidence gets. through and a jury sees it, you know,

they they make a verdict on everything. they see and everything they observe and. everything they witness. And you know, if you if you lie to a jury in a trial. like this, what ends up happening to you. is exactly what's happened to Donald. Trump. A lot of the trials that actually. go to trial, they look at him and they. go, "Man, that's a bad guy." You know, in that setting. And, you know, I know a. lot of Americans are waking up to it. more and more every single day. It's. just I don't approach this at all in any. political lens. I approach it from being.
