🚨Trump Press Secretary GETS STAGE FRIGHT and RUNS OFF…
Donald Trump's new press secretary, Katie Zakaria, just held her first press. briefing at the White House, and it may. be her last press briefing. She had. stage fright. She was visibly nervous. It's being called the worst press. briefing in the history of all press. secretaries. It only lasted 14 minutes. She took a few questions. During that. time, she confused her husband with the. president. Let me show you what went. down. First, let me show you when she. walked out of the press briefing after.
only 14 minutes. Let's play this clip. >> Bill placed his trust in me. Shows that. I know I'm capable of being able to step. up to that. So, thank you for that. question. In fact, I am going to end it. because President Trump is heading out. to Marine 1 for our historic trip to. Alaska and we can ask him all of the. questions out there. So, thank you so. much. Katie, did the president speak with. ambassador? >> The to the question on th the president.
will be back on Thursday and that's what. I will answer. I'll leave it there. >> He will he will answer those questions. and very much. >> Okay. So on my watch that was 14. minutes. So that's the introduction the. debut for the new White House press. secretary Katie Zachariah. >> And here's how she started the press. briefing. She gave an eight minute. opening monologue where she was visibly. nervous and she stumbled through her own. words. Let's play this clip.
>> Good morning. >> I am so honored to work for President. Trump and the American people as the new. White House press secretary. I want to thank President Trump. for his trust that he has placed in me. >> More from that opening monologue right. here. Let's play it. >> I'm looking forward to working with each. of you as well, especially as we are in the middle of.
the midterm blitz with energy and. excitement. never seen before in the history of. midterms thanks to President Trump. Just look no further than last night in. Youngstown, Ohio, where President Trump. delivered another blockbuster rally out. on the trail. The arena was overflowing. with enthusiasm. as thousands came out to support. President Trump as well as special guest.
Jake Paul and football legend John. Gruden. >> And even more from this opening. monologue where she says how energetic. Trump is. I mean, this is some. humiliating stuff. Let's play it. >> Everyday Americans are showing up in. droves to attend these rallies. because of President Trump's America. First agenda. of lower taxes, higher wages, and one of. my favorites, secure borders.
But it doesn't stop there. President. Trump is planning to hold rallies in. Alaska, Arizona, Montana, where I will. be with him, and Georgia, building off. of the incredible momentum generated. over the last several days from his. stops in Tennessee, New York, Texas, and. Nebraska. He is an energetic president. Attendance is at record highs as.
enthusiastic, hard-working Americans are. lining up and packing arenas to support. President Trump and Republicans. It's not hard to see why. President Trump is fighting and. delivering for American workers every. minute of every day. Real. >> Yeah. I mean, she is brutally bad at. this. Let's play this clip. >> He had a historic one-day war and now we.
are have a boommy economy and a a great. relationship. with Venezuela. The. >> Here she is completely lost for words. when she's just reading the words off. the piece of paper. Let's play this. clip. >> To build a to build eight largecale. nuclear power plants. something we've. needed as the United States and. something President Trump promised on. the campaign trail and something. President Trump is delivering on just. like he delivers on every promise.
In addition to that, we will be a we. will be do he there is $54 billion tied. to the Alaska LNG pipeline and terminal. to service the Pacific Rim and sell fuel. to our allies as well as $22.3 billion. for a 6 gawatt natural gas power. facility in Texas. And then she says, "Donald Trump is the. most familyfriendly president we've ever. had." Whatever that means. Play this.
clip. >> I President Trump is the most. familyfriendly president we've ever had. >> So then she was asked questions first by. Peter Ducey. Here was the question and. she didn't have any answers for it. Let's play it. >> I want to ask you a policy question. >> Mhm. >> Has the US stopped sharing intel with. Ukraine? >> I'll have to get back to you on that. Hi. >> Next, she was asked a question by a. reporter from the Daily Mail, and this. did break news. She said that we have. asked Kimberly Gilfoil to resign. Let's.
play this clip. >> And I have two questions for you if you. can. Uh, first of all, on Kimberly. Gilfoil, the Daily Mail has been. reporting on her since last year. The. president said yesterday to reporters. that he is considering firing her. Do. you know a timeline for that? And also. potentially, who could be on the short. list to replace her if he does? Uh we. have asked ambassador Gilfoil to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the. team and we wish her well. Okay, second.
question for you. >> Then she confuses. Donald Trump for her husband. Here, play. this clip. >> Okay, second question for you if I may. A personal question. Your family is in. California. Your husband, you have four. children. Um, I'm wondering how you. manage how are you going to manage that. Caroline Levit left because she wanted. to spend more time with her family and. also did she give you any advice on how. to handle this job and the people in. this room? Well, first of all, I want to.
give my husband an amazing shout out. We. have four kids ranging from 12, 10, 8, and six. Three of them are boys, so we. have a handful. And I adore my family. I. love them. They are my priority. They I. I love being with my kids. The idea of. not spending evenings with my kid is. kids are is completely uh unacceptable. So my president, excuse me, my husband. Uh that's a that's a good one. My. husband is out here is out here for the.
week. >> I'll just show you one more time as she. wrapped up this first press briefing. You can hear both the laughter and just. how uncomfortable members of the press. were after what they just observed. Let's play this clip. >> question on the president will be back. on Thursday and that's what I will. answer. I'll leave it there. >> He will he will answer those questions. out and very much. into the states.
Now, the Midas Touch Network White House. correspondent Luke Rael was in the room. Here's what uh Luke had to say. Let's. play this clip. Take a look at all these. unhappy reporters in the briefing room. Katie Zachariah came out for her first. press briefing and only took questions.
from three reporters. One from. Breitbart, one from Fox News, one from. the Daily Mail. Not exactly an. adversarial briefing for Katie. Zachariah, the new White House press. secretary. tried to get a question in at. the very end to see when Katie Zachariah. will be briefing the press next. No word. on when that's going to happen or if. she'll be willing to take more questions. from other reporters. In the meantime, I'll be here. I'm Luke Gradle, your. Mighty Text White House correspondent. Please follow along for more. Now, here's a quote we're getting from a. White House official following Katie.
Zakaria's first press briefing. Getting. behind the podium is tough, but she got. off on the wrong foot. She needs to get. much better fast otherwise she'll break. Scaramucci's record. Scaramucci lasted. 11 days or so. And uh yeah, I don't. think that Zakaria will last another. press briefing, although we will see. But Steven Chung, the White House. communications uh director, he says a. tremendous start for the new White House. press secretary. She commanded the room.
and effectively reminded the American. people of all the great work that Donald. Trump and his administration have done. so far. And then the White House. released this bizarre video. As Aaron. Rupar says, "Not a coincidence that. there are no clips of her talking in. this video. here. Play this clip. [music]. [music].
[music]. Then state regime media tried to cover. up for just how bad it was what we just. saw. Play this clip. >> Yes. There you go. >> Diving into the deep end. We call that. Melissa. Go. >> No. Look, I thought that she presented. well. She didn't come off as combative. like we've seen some of President. Trump's prior press secretaries, present. company excluded. And she did. At first, I worried for her because what you don't. want coming out of this is a process. story. You don't want to come out and be. the story. You don't want them to.
dissect every pause, every like, um, should you have said this differently? And she came out loaded with news and. then she dropped the mic and walked. away. And so I think from a strategic. perspective, that was a really what. smart move. Mhm. Um, and she. >> Here's what they were saying on MS Now. about that disastrous press performance. Play this clip over here to you here. I. should say, Von, as I was speaking to a. former highle Trump aid in the moments. before we came out here, this person. said, I think she is going to be a train.
wreck. It's not just open season for. people to be critical on this woman. She. has a tough job. This is going to be a. tough gig for anybody who does it. But. it is also a very high level job, as. Peter noted, with real critical. responsibilities. And it matters to hear. those statements because that tells you. what the president is certain to be. thinking about it as well right now. Can. you just. >> And then there have been a lot of. questions about Zakaria's background. I. mean, one thing is that she continued to. post all this QAnon stuff uh throughout. uh her history. And then there's a.
question about whether she actually has. a law degree. When Donald Trump. announced that she was going to be the. press secretary, he said she was a. lawyer. she's represented that she was a. general counsel uh to a nonprofit or to. some California companies, but there's. no record in California or in any other. state that she's a licensed lawyer. And. so after the press brief, she was. outside in the White House grounds with. Donald Trump and Trump was asked while.
she was next to him, where is her law. degree from or like where where is she. licensed to practice law? And so Trump. asks her, "Where are you licensed to. practice law?" And then she says, "Well, she says China." But let me show you the. video here. Play this clip. And I think she was very good. I thought. she was very good. Did she pass the bar exam? You said. she's an attorney. Where did she pass. the bar exam? Which state? >> Tell us.
>> Where did you pass the bar exam? >> Mr. President. Mr. Yeah, that was bad. Folks, let me know. what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get. to 7 million subscribers. Thanks for. watching.
