🚨Trump MIDTERM PLOT EXPOSED…
A whistleblower at the Postal Service. just came forward with very serious. allegations against the Trump regime in. a detailed whistleblower notice. United. States Senator Blumenthal got his hands. on this whistleblower letter, and he's. now writing to the Postmaster General. David Steiner about what is in this. whistleblower letter. Now, a federal. judge made it very clear that the United. States Postal Service in this lawsuit.
against it may take no further. preparatory steps to change the way. ballots would be gathered, delivered, serviced during an election. And. according to this whistleblower notice, a USPS whistleblower, they said that the. USPS has been taking major preparatory. steps in order to change the way they're. going to be dealing with election. ballots despite the court order in a way.
that is intended basically to destroy. ballots is kind of the final impact of. what could be occurring right here. And. so, just to remind you, there was a. Supreme Court ruling recently in these. lawsuits that were filed by states. against the Trump regime regarding this. executive order that was dealing with. the. upcoming election or elections in. general and had a different components, but one of the components that the.
states were seeking to block was the. Trump regime doing a rulemaking with the. United States Postal Service, which it. controls it as its stooges. in power. And according to this. rulemaking, they would basically change. the way the Post Service would handle. ballots. And so, the Trump regime would. be creating its list of who it believes. is eligible, uh, voters. And the US Postal Service.
would then implement this barcode system. where it would try to match the Trump. list. um, using this barcode, and that's how. it would determine if someone was an. eligible voter or not an eligible voter. As this rules base I'm simplifying a. bit. As this rule would be promulgated, and it would basically supersede the. state electoral rolls. It's why the. Trump regime said, "We want your state. electoral rolls. We want to know all the. people." It would supersede that with.
the Trump list of who Trump deems to be. an eligible voter. And part of the process that we're. learning about is if there was a. non-match between the Trump list. and a and a person who the Trump deemed. not eligible to vote based on a Trump. criteria, that would then give the US. Postal Service the discretion, according. to this whistleblower, to then deem an. entire batch as eligible for.
destruction. So, it wouldn't just even be the one. individual who Trump deemed not. eligible, who by the way would likely be. an eligible person. I mean, think about. what Trump Trump lies about everything. But if one person didn't match Trump's. list, and think about all the. sloppiness, the lies, all the stuff that. Trump spews, then there's a world where. the USPS could then delete 10,000 if. they wanted to that are part of that.
batch cuz it was in a batch that would. be deemed infected. And so, what the Supreme Court said is. we're going to not allow the lower court. injunctions blocking this from happening. because the rule technically wasn't. passed yet by the US Postal Service. So, in other words, you weren't injured. state because we this rule didn't go. into effect. And the states like, "Yeah,
but it's about to go into an effect. We. know what it's going to be, and it's. going to hurt us. So, we want to address. the injury before we suffer. Why should. we have to suffer? The injury is the. threat because now it impacts the way we. have to plan for elections. And this is. a state issue. Elections are run by. state. That's our federalism system. right here. So, we're already injured. because the threat is having a. consequence on us having to prepare and.
all of the uncertainty." No, said the. Supreme Court. Essentially, what the. Supreme Court says is it's an equivalent. of someone who's known to shoot people. in the face threatens to and actually. does shoot them and kill them. You know, they're threatening to shoot you in the. face. You have to wait to be shot in the. face before you can say there is an. injury. That was the Supreme Court's. ruling. They said, "We can't do anything. here. There's no standing. There's no. justiciability justiciability until the. rule happens." Well, separately, the. Trump regime pushed through the rule.
So, there was another case working its. way up to the federal courts where those. USPS rule had actually gone through and. a federal judge blocked the rule from. going forward. The states won. So, there. was two separate tracks. One that the. Supreme Court says is non-justiciable, but this other track which hasn't made. its way up to the Supreme Court yet, where the thing the Supreme Court said. we have to wait until it happened, that. happened and the lower courts blocked it. from happening. But, the Trump regime,
this is what we warned about that they. were going to do, they've ignored the. lower courts federal orders, and they've. told the USPS, "Take the preparatory. steps. Go forward with this. Push. forward this barcode system where state. elections are replaced with a federal. voter roll and when there are non. matches, we as the USPS are just going. to delete batches or not count batches. and not let them be delivered to the. local precincts and to the local areas.
where they will be counted. So, that's. what the whistleblower basically said. and the whistleblower said these this. system has been the the start of. implementing this has been really since. mid-June. and they've tried to rush it through. It's sloppy, no one knows what to do, the Postal Service has mass confusion. right now of what to do and even if you. block this from taking place,
the whistleblower saying what seems. obvious is this is a plan to just cause. confusion and to lose ballots and to. infect the election that's going to take. place in the midterm with lost ballots. and people saying I'm not counting in. order to cast doubt on the results. Now, we know elections get close, right? We. see elections with a thousand, you know, difference, 5,000, 7,000, 12,000, 15,000. and there's going to be a lot of races, Senate races, probably in these red.
states that are leaning blue that are. going to be close. You know, even the. James Talarico race, he's up in Texas by. a lot, but it's going to be close. So, what's the plan here? The plan here is. to. not to create efficiency in the. election. It's to destroy it. It's to. create so much confusion and doubt that. Donald Trump is ultimately going to try. to argue. I think we we can't count the results. We can't There's no way to certify these. elections and therefore the Democrats. can't be sworn into the House and the.
Senate. That's what they are going to. do. And so, when people were saying, "Don't worry about the Supreme Court's. ruling because it doesn't really relate. to the rule itself and once the rule's. in place then well, then it could be. addressed through litigation and it'll. be addressed. And I've been saying, I. understand the Supreme Court made this. technical justiciability argument and. standing argument, but I want you to. focus on what's actually happening here.
By the time a state suffers the injury, it's hard to unwind an injury and the. Supreme Court is enabling the confusion, the destruction of the. of of of the reliability of the mail. system right now. Let's bring in Harry. Litman Talking Fed Substack podcast. Harry, big intro there, a lot of me. rambling, but I think important points. to really break down so people. understand there's a lot of confusing. layers of it. I know that even though. the Supreme Court ruling was on.
justiciability and standing, I think you. shared my view that it's actually still. a big deal and it is something we should. be concerned about and pay attention to. Talk to us about it though now that we. have this whistleblower talking to the. United States Senate. >> And look Ben, we now see why you and I. did put our fingers on it even though. some said, "Oh, it doesn't matter. It's. just about rightness." We understood and. said that the prospect that it provides. creates for chaos as a whole separate.
force. This order and the state of play. here and the whistleblower letter. uh state a freaking nightmare on. multiple dimensions. First, this let's. go with the letter. This is almost a. footnote. So crazy is this um the the. whole uh order that we only give sort of. secondary focus on. They were violating.
court orders. You have a straight out. this is like the theme one of the big. themes of the whole administration. They. were just we don't care, indeed. We want. to go double time. If you look at the. injunction that remained in place, not. in the Supreme Court case, but the other. one before Judge Tawney, it flat out. said you can't do it and they did it. anyway. First Circuit said flat out. can't do it and they did it anyway. Okay, that's for starters. But now what.
did they do? And it is not surprisingly, think of what a huge change this is in. the Postal Service's role in federal. elections to decide thumbs up, thumbs. down, who gets ballots. Even if that doesn't go into operation, this is my number one concern. It lays. the groundwork for such chaos. Who. didn't get their ballot? Who was. supposed to? And the chaos plays out.
within the context of the very abridged. timeframe that is just the kind of. defining feature of election litigation. So, you have, even assuming Trump can't. get away with it, the the real search. first look at this at the overall. strategy, it's reminiscent of January. 6th. Just just like shake things up,
create some chaos, and my Republican. congress members will deal with the. rest. Now, that's that's just point two. Point three, imagine that we actually. wanted to do something like this, which. we don't and it's against the law. This is not a national election. It's. not the time for beta development. There's so many things they haven't. done. Your feature of the zero rate. failure, as Blumenthal puts it. You got.
a sheaf of votes, one is bad, ah, we'll. get rid of them all. I mean, and when. once you do that, the prospects for. unscrambling the eggs are so diminished. in an election setting. There's a lot of. wrongs this administration has done that. are still being fought in the courts. All the initial firing, some of the. contempt and the like. But, you've got. an election boom and it happens and. where are the ballots? The dog ate it. I.
don't know, your honor. That is a recipe. for complete disaster, complete lack of. confidence in in who's elected by the. people. And that is, I think, the sort. of cohesive, unifying factor of all the. crap that the Trump administration is. trying to do. If nothing else, make. things crazy and turbulent and throw it. all up in the air, see where it falls. and say it's the election, it is too.
late to do anything. But, this. whistleblower, you know, it's just. allegations, uh, and normally there would be a whole. process of investigation, etc. We're. talking, though, about September, a. couple months from the election. Can it. even be straightened out in time? Uh, and again, even if they don't, uh, get their, um, plan through, will. they have screwed around and and totally.
given these crazy commands to the Postal. Service that, um, look, I don't I don't even think it's a. question. I think just this much alone. more or less guarantees problems with. the mailing of ballots. Even if the US. Postal Service plays its appropriate. role, which is to say nothing. You and. and it's amplified the point now, so. people don't get their ballots, what. happened? You know, you are.
coming close already to guaranteeing a. whole turbulent controversy in the wake. of the election, and that really is. Donald Trump's whole card. We know. elections A don't have fraudulent voters. and B are safe and secure, but grabbing. the voter rolls from Fulton County and. taking them from other Republican folks. and then doing all this mess, it just.
gives. uh rise to an itemized list of. grievances at best, at best, where. you're going to have. uh him and his uh. you know, fellow um cynics say, "Oh, it's just too crazy. We can't trust. anything. Uh better better forget the whole. election." And, you know, it's an election we're talking about. It's the people's most important process. and decision in a democracy, and this.
really to me shows not just a number of. discreet plans to muck it up, but an. overall game plan of just creating. chaos, bedlam, and overall bordello that. it can play into his hands on top of. everything else. I think it's. extraordinarily. dangerous, and it's already, you know, we're already pushing midnight in terms. of real time for getting together.
for an election in 2 months. >> You know, the. people who accused others of being the. deep state, it turns out these MAGA X. influencers are actually the feds. The. people who accused the Democrats or. others of being the Epstein cabal, they're actually the Epstein cabal and. they were covering up themselves. You. know, all of the things that Donald. Trump is saying, you know, that these. people did with the ballots and this and.
that, which did not happen cuz Trump had. the chance to prove it. They're doing those things with the goal. of stealing ballots and hiding ballots. and change, you know, all of the things. they accused others of doing that. weren't happening. This is what their plan is. And so, with. a lot of their things, you have to look. for the smoke and mirrors and you have. to look at the where they're trying to. fake you and then what they're really. doing. So, when we talk about the J6.
fund, the fake out is the J6 fund gets. people angry, worked up, divided. What's. the real issue? Giving Donald Trump. immunity for his taxes so he doesn't. have to pay his taxes. That's what it. was really about. That could be worth. billions of dollars for Donald Trump. When you talk about, you know, this this. mail stuff, what's the main thing that. they talk about with voter election. stuff? They say, "Oh, it's the voter ID. Just use your license. Just use your. that." And that sufficiently divides. people cuz there are people who say, "Just show up with your ID and your.
passport." It gets a little more. complicated when you talk about women's. different maiden names and all of these. things and certain areas that don't have. access to passports and and and under. and and communities that are. underrepresented. It's just their issues, but it divides. people sufficiently. But the broader. issue of all of this is not the voter. ID. The broader issue are these tactics. to destroy the ballots of people who. have been voting their whole lives, who. are valid voters, and disenfranchise.
millions of people or cast out. So, that's what it's about. They find the. issue to draw your attention, the media. focuses on that, while the real agenda. creeps through, and that's what we're. seeing here. I'll give you the final. word, Arthur. >> Just two quick points. 1/3 1/3 of all. ballots in this country are cast in. mail-in. Trump has called them a. disgrace and terrible. Of course, he. also votes. mail-in. And so, you know, to.
disenfranchise. that those numbers are is absolutely. heart-stopping. And then second, if you. do the math and you can damn well be. sure that they've done the math, the. people that it disenfranchises are. disproportionately Democrats for a. number of reasons involving work. patterns and, you know, other family. things. They they have specifically. focused on how can we not just throw up. the cards and make a big mess, but do it.
in such a way that it selectively. diminishes Democrats' voting power. The. voting power of the party that would be. in the majority, but for different. tricks of this sort. So, it's uh it's. it's a grave prospect, and we have to. assume they're going to go forward to. try to do it anyway they can. And, you. know, is our vigilance on so many fronts. up to their mischief on so many fronts.
