Trump gets RUDE AWAKENING Right BEFORE MIDTERMS!!
Donald Trump getting a rude awakening by. Rupert Murdoch's paper, The Wall Street. Journal, right before the elections. Take a look at this article that The. Wall Street Journal wrote. And also, let's focus on some of the comments from. Wall Street Journal readers. Trump. surprises GOP with election eve speech. about reflecting pool. The president. delivered remarks in front of the. Lincoln Memorial that focused on his. construction projects. And this Wall. Street Journal article was basically. mocking Donald Trump for doing this.
right before the midterm election. It. was quoted numerous Republican sources, members of Congress in vulnerable. districts, people associated with MAGA. Republicans running for Senate offices. as well, who are livid that Donald Trump. spent the last day doing this and that. his closing message was something about. granite and painting the reflecting pool. a little bit of darker blue and how. algae could be a little bit smelly. So, you have all of these right-wing people. who were like commenting on the Wall. Street Journal comment section. And.
here's what they were writing. And these. were like former Trump voters. And these. are just Wall Street Journal readers. This is genuinely as bad if not worse. than Joe Biden's mental state. He's. completely mentally failing in front of. the entire country's eyes. To which. another reader said, "Biden never did. this. LOL, what are you talking about?". You know, these MAGA Republicans create. this world of like former President. Biden doing all of these lies that Trump. says. Like, "Biden never did anything. even close to this." Right? Donald Trump. every day, every single day is worse.
than Biden on Biden's worst day. Every. day Donald Trump and 10 times, 20 times, 50 times, every damn day. Here are some. more comments that we were getting. The. Onion could publish this story as is. This is like AI for the comedy writers. They just plug it in and call it a day. Wow, talk about completely and utterly. out of touch with the American people. I. can't even begin to imagine what this. lamest of all lame ducks will get up to. in his two final years. Then it's.
another person saying, "The pipes were. very old and in bad shape." Trump says, "It happens with men after a certain. age." Yep, all the issues America cares. about, the reflecting pond, new pipes, new lawn at the White House. Well, as. Senator Bacon said, "At least he wasn't. talking about men's behinds." Vote. people, vote to end this farce once and. for all. Oh, don't forget Qatari Air. Force One. Reed Arvin Wright wrote, "Well, he just. said he could have won the Vietnam War. in a week by bombing Ho Chi Minh City.
It apparently escaped him that this was. Saigon, capital of South Vietnam. Hanoi. was the capital of North Vietnam. So, he. stated he would have won the Vietnam War. by bombing our allies. It's unbelievable. he polls 1%, but here we are because. when real men were fighting communists, Donald Trump was getting deferments with. a fake condition so he could be a. playboy with his family money. He. doesn't know anything about Vietnam. Besides, it's the war he made sure to. dodge going into." Someone said, "I.
rarely listen to Donald Trump, but I did. this today. He's a hot mess. He sounds. more like a homeowner complaining about. how the last owner did everything wrong. at the HOA meeting in a retirement. community than a president addressing. the country." Lynn Smith says, "I agree. Everyone should listen to a real speech. At some of his rallies, he has a kind of. energy and entertainment value, but he's. never presidential. And many things he. says either simply make no sense or are. such obvious misstatements that you.
can't even call them lies because. clearly no one would believe them. Lowest inflation in history, biggest tax. cuts in history." Someone else says, "He's losing it in the last days up to. the midterm election. To be honest, if. this is what we're to expect in the next. 2 years, the 25th Amendment is looking. more and more of an option." I could. keep going on, but you get the point. I. want to bring in Angela Gonzales Torres, who I just interviewed. She's running. for the Congress position in. California's 34th Congressional.
District. Let's bring her in right now. and let's bring in the interview I did. Now I want to bring in Angela Gonzalez. Torres, who's running for that seat, Los. Angeles, California's 34th congressional. district. You're running right now. against an incumbent, a Democrat, Ted. Lieu. We'll talk about that in a moment. as well, but I it's an existential. moment right now for our country as we. are approaching. this election. The American people, you know, have.
endured a barrage of the worst of the. worst case scenario. I mean, especially, you know, in Los Angeles, you had I mean. I think we have to call it what it is, an ICE and Border Patrol invasion of our. city, of our state here. Relentless, non-stop attacks. California. is still under attack by the Trump. regime, you know, every damn day. And. so, people are looking for fighters. right now. People are looking for.
a way out of this hell. Talk to us about. why you think that you could be the. person right now, you know, who can help. get Americans out of this hell cuz. people are feeling trauma. >> Yeah, same. I'm asking the same. question. How did we get here, but more. importantly, how do we get out of here? Because this is really. I feel like we're all in uncharted. waters right now and we're really trying. to figure out how to work together to. uplift our communities and here in Los.
Angeles. So, I'm I'm fifth generation. Angelino. I'm running to represent a. community that I graduated elementary, middle, high school in, pursued higher. education at UCLA to bring that. knowledge home to really fight for. working families like my own. Being the. daughter of a deportee, having lived. through my own father's deportation, I. still would have never imagined we would. be seeing what we are seeing today. under, like you stated, the Trump. regime. But I. um. really feel called to keep families.
together, to hold accountable. you know, ICE agents, these masked men. and and, you know, some women I've seen. um that are really terrorizing our. communities and I'll just say uh you. know, California's 34th Congressional. District is home to one of the largest. immigrant populations in the country. Um. this is obviously, you know, not. political for me. This is very personal. um and I feel like that's something that. we should be celebrated for, not. attacked for. Um so I'm working really. hard to bring us the representation and.
respect that we deserve. >> You know, I often get asked about. political messaging this and I said I. think the most important political. messaging is that what we're. experiencing as a nation is not. political. Actually, you know, politics. obscures and divides and tries to pit us. against each other. Um but what we're seeing in these. Trump-backed oligarchs who are. um attacking the people and dividing. people with culture wars or just wars on.
marginalized community re- real wars, never-ending wars. Um you know, and and. so talk about the personal aspect though. because, you know, I I don't think. you're like a typical politician, you. know, or political person. Talk about. your personal. >> [laughter]. >> Talk talk about your the personal story. but how you even got here. >> Yeah, I mean, I am a community advocate, an advocate for justice, um. a community member first and foremost, always. I was.
um pursuing a PhD and an uh and a JD um. dual degree at the time that I was. tapped for. this really by a coalition of. progressive um leaders um like our city. controller Kenneth Mejia and David Kim. who both ran for this seat um. and we've nearly unseated Representative. Jimmy Gomez for the past near decade, every election cycle since he was. initially sworn in. But it was really my. students. I work with formerly. incarcerated, undocumented students.
I've built empowerment programs for even. women um particularly fleeing domestic. violence situations. Um I really love. being of service, especially to this. community. You know, Los Angeles is is. part of the fourth largest economy in. the world, and yet so many people can't. make ends meet. I myself was working two. jobs through the primary election. Um, and it's really because it's up to. us, right? And I think that um. what's really important right now is to. bring a researched approach, researched.
focused approach to policy. And so, um, here in Los Angeles, we've built a. coalition of students, and that's why I. call this a student-led campaign of. Occidental College, Cal State LA. students, all the community college um, campuses in and around the district, um. of people who are tracking every single. incident of ICE agents in terms of. misconduct, um, you know, abuse of power, um, murder, attempted murder, we're calling.
it, as well as even how the Trump. administration and the Trump family, really, um, is. performing in such a cruel and corrupt. way, even down to the very planes being. used to deport, um, individuals, some to. countries they did not even migrate. from. Um, you know, the Trump family. invested in those planes so that they. can enrich themselves. It's just really. cruel. I think that we have um, you. know, a crisis of greed, and so I.
was asked to consider by those who can't. vote, um, you know, and those who, um, like our next generation, who really. want a sustainable future, um, and. those of us that have have been harmed. the most by the system really have the. most hope that we can change it and be. part of um, that change. So, I'm I'm. happy we took a chance on each other, and I took this chance because we're in. the top two runoff election to really. fight back against all this cruelty and.
corruption in Congress. >> You know, now it is a very close race. I. mean, it is the polls really have this. as a as as a dead heat at this point. You're running against Congressman. Gomez, a Democrat who's been. representing. Los Angeles area. You know, I'm going to obviously give an. opportunity for him to make his pitch. just the way I'm going to give you an. opportunity to make, you know, your. pitch right here. And so talk to us about that because. here we're in this moment. What's your.
pitch to the people of Los Angeles and. even to the people of this country right. now where you have an incumbent like a. Congressman Gomez who was in, you know, who was representing that district. How. come right now, what's your pitch to the. voters? >> Yeah, and I'll say where where. Representative Gomez has done a great. job, we will continue that work. But I. think right now we're really asking. people to look at the opportunity that. we have to. make real change. And I think that that. starts right now in the campaigning.
process. I'm not taking a dime of. corporate PAC money. Every donation is. about, you know, $30 or our our average donation is about. $30 and the majority of our donations. come from people within the district and. I think that's really special. We've built a coalition of. organizers. We have all the answers here. at home. We just need someone that will. really work with us. And I think that this is really a moment. where we can look at how to hold.
accountable um maybe corporations in. terms of the lineage where house fire in. a part of the district where lead is. being found in our kids' teeth in East. LA. There was an oil spill not a month. after a warehouse fire. and people are dealing with some real. mental health and and certainly health. issues in terms of even the ICE rates in. parts of these districts. where you know, just we want a moment to. breathe and and I think that um.
that's why I got into this race is. because I'm born and raised here. I know. that this district is so special. I. understand people move to Los Angeles um. for a variety of reasons, but so many of. us that grew up here understand that we. have some of the dirtiest air in all of. LA County in this district, one of the. largest jail systems on the face of the. planet, but also some of the highest. cost of incarceration that needs to be. addressed. You know, it costs over $100,000 to. incarcerate one person per year in this. state. With that, we can provide people.
real opportunities. at a quality of life. And so, I think. also. right now seeing the highest eviction. notices issued in the entire city in. this district. Um there in terms of even. small businesses, there's parts of Los. Angeles that are unrecognizable after. Trump, and I think we need a real. fighter to hold Trump accountable and to. demand the release of the Epstein files. Like, I have not forgotten about that. Um and that starts here in the heart of. LA. >> Where can people learn more about the.
campaign and any other kind of final. message, closing argument that you want. to give to, you know, our nearly 7. million subscribers who are watching. this? It's uh you know, >> Wow. >> we're we're here. We're days away. I'll. I'll. I'll just say I'll just say this. >> Yeah. >> You know, if you think about what the. Trump regime threw at us, the fact that we're here, and I think. the people have stayed united, our. institutions have bent the knee, and so. many people have, you know, I I think at. a corporate level, I mean, not that I.
expected that much, but they bent the. knee and they fell, and corporate news. fell, but people. stood shoulder to shoulder. You saw that. in LA, you saw that in Minnesota. >> You saw that in so many other areas. That's kind of my takeaway is that I. actually feel optimistic about where we. are right now. We got to rebuild systems. and structures to make sure we don't go. back to a status quo. That's my. blabbering about it, but I'll give you. the final message where people can learn. more about you. >> No, I think that's exactly it, right? Um.
just the amount of people that turn out. to our community canvases is incredible. Um we really are holding on to hope. Um. and while the Trump regime brought that. fight to Los Angeles, uh we have not. backed down, and I'm very proud to be. part of that fight. And I'll just say. angelaf congress.com is where people can. learn more about our policy. plans and I think that it's going to be. a great. next 5 days just getting out the vote. >> Angela Gonzalez-Torres, thanks so much.
We appreciate you. >> Thank you so much. Talk soon. >> Everybody hit subscribe. Let's get to 7. million subscribers. WTF America is. officially out now.
