🚨Trump gets INSTANTLY REJECTED by GRAND JURY…
rejected yet again. The Trump regime. tried to indict Cassidy Hutchinson for. her testimony before Congress regarding. the January 6th insurrection. The Trump. regime DOJ presented the case to a grand. jury to try to get a true bill and. indict Cassidy Hutchinson. On Tuesday, you would find out if indeed they were. able to get a true bill when the. magistrate would basically sign off on. it. And the Trump regime lawyer said the.
grand jury did not concur. So the Trump. regime is now just continuing to be. clown themselves with this despicable. behavior. And we're seeing the grand. juries in Washington DC truly understand. that this is a rogue, lawless, and. criminal racketeering enterprise. masquerading as the Department of. Justice. So the breaking news is as. follows. A federal grand jury rejected. an attempt by the Trump Justice.
Department to indict former White House. aid Cassidy Hutchinson. An utter. humiliation for the Trump DOJ. Here's. how it was described. A federal grand. jury in DC rejected this attempt. This. is in connection with Cassidy. Hutchinson's testimony during the uh. January 6th uh panel before Congress. In. a brief court appearance Tuesday. afternoon, Neville Hedley, who. introduced himself as the acting senior. litigation council at the Justice. Department Civil Rights Division, told.
US Magistrate Judge Zia Farooqi that the. grand jury had not concurred on the. proposed indictment. Hedley did not. specify the defendant, but people. familiar said that he was referring to. Hutchinson, and the Midas Touch Network. has independently confirmed with our. Justice Department sources that it was. indeed Cassidy Hutchinson. I want to. bring in Harry Litman from the Talking. Feds YouTube channel, Substack, and. Podcast. Now, Harry, it's great to see. you. One of the things I note as well is. that it's pretty damn odd for a person.
at the center of this from the DOJ to. also be the civil right division senior. litigation council. That civil is not. criminal. So, it's an odd thing that. this guy was I don't know if he was the. fall guy, if he's the guy who drew the. short straw who went in front of the. grand jury, but the litigation council. for the civil rights division, which is. supposed to protect people from civil. rights violations in civil context, is.
involved in the criminal attempted. indictment of Cassidy Hutchinson, which. was rejected. So, let's talk about what. went down and then Harry, what you and I. should talk about is how this is also. connected to what the Trump regime is. doing with James Comey where they didn't. go before a grand jury as of now. They. got an information or a criminal. complaint against Comey. They have to go. in front of a grand jury, but they were.
clearly worried they would not get the. indictment the same way they were. rejected here by Cassidy Hutchinson. So. they filed this completely timebarred. frivolous thing against James Comey. which makes the 8647 sea shell case look. like a piece of constitutional. scholarship. It's and this is so. demeaning to the practice of law. It's. grotesque and it is just I would say. bush league but that would be that would. be giving them a trophy. Bush league.
would be the biggest rosy compliment I. could give these freaking crooks. What. do you make of it, Harry? >> Yeah, let's just start that it's really. good. This was the nastiest reprisal. prosecution of all. Complete loser out. of the gate. But let's just note this. The good people of Washington DC, not. for the first, not for the second, not. for the third time, have rejected it. And uh combine it with the uh good. decision yesterday uh reinstating Marine.
Comey. So, you know, at at the ground. level, the the system is working, but. man oh man, was this ragged. Let me. start with your point about the civil. rights division. Civil rights division. has no jurisdiction whatsoever over. these supposed crimes, which I'll get to. in a moment, the supposed false. statements to Congress. And the fact. that they that this uh actually they got. the ticket for it was the first. radioactive.
uh demonstration that the the fix is in. This is all political because they were. giving it to Harit Dylan, head of the. civil rights division, whose lawyers. have nothing nothing to do with this. It. would normally be something that would. go to the US attorney's office of. District of Columbia where Janine Puri. already has a whole string of losses at. the grand jury level. And I think Midas. Mighty and Fed Heads know this even a.
single time in my whole career. I was. involved once not even my case with a a. no trail bill. They're they're just uh. you know collecting them like popcorn. over at the the DC uh you know practice. uh whole division in the in the DC grand. jury system. But look, man oh man. So. Cassie Hutchinson, this is what they. were trying to indict her for. We all. saw her. The country saw her and was. mesmerized at her guts at her coming.
forward. And that this that's the very. testimony that Trump wants to say was a. lie. And where what are they trying to. show? She said in her testimony that. she'd been told by Dan Honororado uh. that uh uh Trump had tried to grab the. steering wheel to make sure he could go. to his people uh during January 6 a. Bobby Engel pushed him prevented him.
from doing that. He Angel is the guy in. the beast, the big uh vehicle. Angel was. there in front of uh her when Honorado. said that, but that supposedly uh other. people don't agree with that account. That is not perjury. But that's all they. ever had was to say somehow her saying. honorado told me and Honororado just. said, "Oh, I don't exactly remember was. somehow perjury." man. Oh man, it would.
never even begin. But I, you know, they've gone after Comey and Leticia. James and the 82year-old great. grandmother and uh Brennan, but those at. least are people of certain stature and. certain means in the world. This is just. complete overbearing nastiness to be. going after Cassidy Hutchinson. And by. the way, had it gone forward or if they. try again and it does go forward, all. kinds of problems for them because it it.
puts exactly into play everything that. happened January 6, maybe Mark Meadows. Uh so it was foolish as well as nasty uh. as can be. But you know, at this point, I said at the time, you said at the. time, I have a substack on on this. Hey, it might be useful to the mightest. mighty to put it in, but I said no. frigin way this goes forward. They must. have known that too. But you know, you.
have a president of the United States. who I just think is like completely up. river is just trying as he just did now. the third time with Comey as you uh. adverted to Ben to just uh any kind of. reprisal campaign and his people at DOJ. who've got to know they're embarrassing. themselves are going forward and doing. it. It's deplorable. It's repugnant. It's against all kind all the the. measures of conduct uh and when you're.
supposed to bring indictments and when. you're not and there's a just an extra. measure the sort of gap as I finally put. in the substack between you know Cassie. Hutchinson and these old nasty guys. trying to do what I mean they have no. case to prove in the first place it's. it's really at some you know visceral. moral level about as bad as it could. possibly get. And so a really good day. that uh someone you can never count on. even though they bring crappy case after.
crappy case that the you know people of. the grand jury and district of Comey. said uh uh I don't think so. Obviously. the just result and you know one that is. now joins a large pile of uh rejections. from the grand jury something that used. to happen basically never. and uh. they're just collecting them like. parking tickets at the Department of. Justice. >> Now Harry, connect this to James Comey.
over here because I think this is. related with why they sought the. information. I mean, when you talk about. frivolous, the very nature of this being. some sort of classified information case. about some 2016 Yahoo article about. search filters. Like, what are you even. talking about? And it was like internal. FBI talking points that you know and you. know you look at the dates October 5th. 2016 was this ya article about a Yahoo. search filter helping the FBI. I mean.
I'm [snorts] not really sure even what. the danger is about it. Whatever. Um so. then I'm looking at the dates and say. got it now that it was unsealed 10 years. October 5th 2026. Where are they going. with this? the statute was a fiveyear. statute of limitations. That would have. been 2021. Oh, they're claiming an. espionage enhancement. So that that's. why it's actually 10 years. But then the. espionage enhancement says you've got to. get an indictment. But then the Trump.
regime argued the criminal information. is the same thing as an indictment. And. it's like I don't know. That's like to. me saying volleyball and basketball are. the same thing because they involve. balls. Like I mean an indictment is not. a complaint. They're different things. Um but but in any event, they did not go. they they waited to the last day on. October 5th of a statute that in my view. doesn't apply and then brought it as an. information terrified that they were. probably going to get rejected by a.
grand jury, right? I mean, so and so now. they have to he's not waving indictment. So they're still going to have to go in. front of a grand jury and present this. cockamani thing. And if this got. rejected, Harry, they're going to re. what are they going to do with the cos? [laughter]. >> You gota think. And by the way, indictment versus information for a. federal prosecutor. It's more like the. difference between uh you know. volleyball and pingpong or volleyball. and yatsi. It is it's in the. constitution as most uh mighty will.
know. you you have a right to a grand. jury indict you for felonies and you. they there's a a way to very quickly. bring a sort of holding pattern. You. usually use it like at the scene of a. crime. Maybe you you you read about. this. We've they've filed charges for. gun things to just freeze the. linebackers. But that's that then. they're going to have to go to a grand. jury and here you're exactly right. It's. the last day of the statute of. limitations. and is the is the DOJ. And.
by the way, we can uh put all three of. these together, the Morin Comey as well, because her whole discharge was only. because she is Jim Comey's daughter. You. know, talk about a whole another level. of kind of vicious injustice because of, you know, who her father is. But anyway, your point is 100% right. It and it's a. little less tricky than it sounds. Hang. in there, Fed Heads and Mightest Mighty. They're at the very very last day and.
they have to charge by that last day. except the statute of limitations which. is 10 years not five years specifies an. indictment. An indictment is not the. same as an information. An indictment is. when a grand jury votes to bring. charges, not when the administration. just uh does it on its own motion. So, the fight now, the first fight in front. of Judge McFaden is going to be, do they. check the box anyway? And it looks very.
far-fetched, but I think it's the same. thing. You're in the Department of. Justice. You know that that uh Trump's. blood lust is bottomless. And so, you're. going after Cassidy Hutchinson, among. other things, an inane target because. you're going to look like the total. jerks that you are. And the same thing, they were on the very last day with. Comey. In fact, arguably, and this is. what McFaden is going to tell us, past. the last day. And they did this anyway.
cuz somebody there must have said, "Uh-oh, we better have some kind of. placeholder or maximum leader will be. very, very angry." And they and they. bring this. And now they have this sort. of legal fight on their hands about. statute of limitations. But also again, as in all these cases, it's so. transparent what is happening. And you. know, people on all sides, both sides of. the aisle. And then some say, obviously,
this is got nothing to do with the. Department of Justice mission to do. justice without fear or favor. It's got. only to do with uh trying to satisfy the. you know uh vengeful bloodlust of Donald. Trump and that's when you get into these. troubles. So it's not just that. Hutchinson was a sympathetic defendant. It's also that they had nothing against. her and it sure does look we've had let. me one more point about Comey. two.
separate US attorneys, including the. special counsel, John Durham, looked. into this and found nothing. It's a very. weak case for starters. They say he told. someone to correct the record about how. um that that had been there had been a. mistake in the press. Um at even if. that's a little bit of a misdemeanor, it's definitely gambling in the casino. But to actually show that he knew and.
willingly was trying to reveal national. defense information. Nah, you know, it. this is again how how much can we make. him miserable? Didn't seem like very. much. He just sort of gave it back of. the hand. But now there there um is the. second one pending. Remember the whole. 8647. first one is gone. And now this third. one that before they even get out of the. box they're going to have to try to. make. they've made already and they're. in front of the judge these sort of. tortured arguments that I know the.
statute of limitations for 10 years. Normally it's five, but here for 10. years says I've got to have an. indictment. No way in the world is this. an indictment. And James Comey didn't um. actually um wave his right to an. indictment. So they are in all kinds of. uh sad shape just for starters. And it's. just it just goes with the territory. when they're not when they're completely. indifferent to justice and just trying.
to make people uh miserable. The. obviously the people in the in the grand. jury in DC recognize it with Cassie. Hutchinson and they could well recognize. it with Comey if that's even if the the. DOJ gets past this pretty big uh looking. legal infirmity. Well, uh, we're going to be very busy, Harry, and you're going to be very busy. on the Talking Feds YouTube channel.
