🚨Trump Gets FED NEWS HE FEARED…
Donald Trump just got the news he feared. most from the Federal Reserve. Interest. rates have now gone up in a unanimous 12. to nothing vote. The Federal Reserve has. now raised interest rates by 25 basis. points, marking its first rate hike. since July 2023. This ends the longest Fed interest rate. pause since 2008. As you'll recall, a.
few months back, Donald Trump appointed. the new chair of the Federal Reserve, Kevin Walsh. Donald Trump said he was. putting Kevin Worsh into this position. to specifically cut interest rates. Donald Trump previously called the prior. chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome. Powell, too late Powell, and Trump would. say he's too late in lowering the. interest rates. Meanwhile, Powell was. known as an interest rate dove.
Historically, someone who favored more. aggressive lowering of interest rates. Donald Trump brought in Kevin Walsh, known as an interest rate hawk, someone. who historically has favored tighter. monetary policy and raising interest. rates more aggressively to bring. inflation under control. We saw Kevin. Walsh testify a few months back as well. after being appointed in Congress where. he said inflation was elevated and there. seemed to be indications he was going to.
make this move and indeed that is what. took place. So let's take a look at this. summary of the Federal Reserve's. decision moments ago. The Federal. Reserve hiked interest rates by 25 basis. points. It was a unanimous decision 12. to0. First time there was a unanimous. decision like this in over a year. The. Fed says the decision will support a. timelier return to 2% inflation. The. median forecast by the Fed shows one.
more 25 basis point rate hikes in 2026. And Fed says job gains are strong and. the unemployment rate has changed. little. The committee will deliver price. stability. The Fed said in their uh. statement, inflation remains very. elevated right now. You know, one of the. things that Kevin Walsh said he was. against were these dot plot charts where. the Federal Reserve gives you.
indications of whether there will be. future hikes or not. And he said he was. going to get rid of dot plots. And dot. plots are back. Here they are. This is. how we know where the Federal Reserve. board members um are in terms of future. interest rate hikes. And it does seem. that 12 of 18 Fed officials see at least. one more 25 basis point rate hikes this. year. I want to now show you some of. these statements that Donald Trump made.
about what he would do if this occurred. his attacks on Jerome Powell, what he. was saying that Kevin Worsh was. specifically brought in to do in lower. interest rates. But just to be very. clear, you know, when we're talking. about interest rates, we're talking. about the rate that banks charge each. other for overnight loans of extra cash. they keep at the Federal Reserve. Now, this trickles down to consumers because. the federal funds rate for these.
overnight bank loans ultimately relate. to what the banks can loan to you, the. consumer. So, new mortgages, auto loans, home equity line loans almost always get. even higher within days or weeks of an. interest rate hike because the lender's. own funding costs go up and that. trickles down to you, the consumer, and. trickles down to you in not a good way. What's Congress doing right now as the.
American people are suffering? The House. of Representatives is shutting down. again. Magga Mike closing down the. house, putting it into recess. But they. did unveil a new portrait of Kevin. McCarthy in the House today just in case. that was something you were uh rooting. for. So now the question is, what's the. response by the lunatic in the Oval. Office? The lunatic in the Oval Office. previously said the following. Without. the United States agreeing to allow.
them, their big surpluses would stop. immediately. they would no longer be. considered financially elite. Referring. to other countries, so back on September. 4th, 2026, Donald Trump said, "Lower the. interest rate or I'll stop trading with. countries with which we have a deficit,". which the US Supreme Court in its. ridiculous and very costly tariff. decision strongly acknowledged the. president has an absolute right to do. So 12 days ago, Donald Trump said he.
would stop trading with 50 plus US trade. partners if the Fed raised interest. rates. Today, the Fed not only avoided. cutting the rates, but they hiked the. rates. And Trump said, "Lower the rates. or I will stop trading, the Fed said, "Shut up. We are increasing the interest. rates because of inflation." and the Fed. wanted to make a powerful statement. standing united with each other against. Trump and made this 12 to nothing.
decision. So Donald, what about lower. interest rates? What about that? Remember when Donald Trump would attack. Powell and say things like this here? Let's play this clip. >> Maybe anywhere. It's all about the. interest rate. Lower the interest rates, you can have. all the housing you want. But you have. to understand I don't want to h I don't. want to hurt people that own houses too. These people for the first time in their. lives they have valuable houses. They.
become rich. I don't want to hurt them. either. >> What you want to do is what? Good for. everyone. Get the interest rates down. We have this numskull that was the head. of the Fed before and he's a stupid. person and we call him too late because. he was too late with the interest rates. all the time. U we need low interest. rates. Low interest rates will solve. everything. We'll solve that. Now, despite that, we're doing well with. housing. But where we're really doing. well is oil is plummeting and costs are.
coming down. >> Remember when Donald Trump was with. Jerome Powell when Jerome Powell was the. chairman of the Federal Reserve? By the. way, Jerome Powell was doing everything. he could to try to lower the rates. He is historically guided by this dove. framework of aggressively lowering the. rates. Trump appointed Jerome Powell. during Trump's first term in office. He. was Trump's guy and Biden extended. Jerome Powell's term. But remember when.
Donald Trump was at the new Federal. Reserve headquarters for which Donald. Trump was launching criminal. investigations into Jerome Powell to try. to pressure Jerome Powell to lower. rates, but Powell kept him consistent. And now Trump's new guy raised the. rates. But remember this moment where. Trump smacked Jerome Powell on the back. in July 2025 in a threatening way and. said, "I'd love for him to lower the. rates." Here, play this clip. >> He's got a long way to go. Yes, sir. Mr. >> President, are there things are there.
things the chairman can say to you today. that would make you back off some of the. earlier criticisms? >> Well, I'd love him to lower interest. rates. >> Other than that, what can I tell you? >> And recently, August 19th, 2026, Donald. Trump said, "When our country is strong, interest rates should go down. When our. country is weak, frankly, they should go. up." Yeah, I think the Fed is sending a. message. It is weak. Here, play this. clip. These ridiculous interest rates, they're ridiculous. Look, when our country is strong,
interest rates should go down. When our. country is weak, frankly, they should go. up. But this country is strong. They've. never had, there's never been in history. the kind of money coming into a country. as we have right now. >> And we've been seeing across the world. right now other central banks having to. hike their interest rates. This is not. what was supposed to happen this year. What was supposed to happen this year. had Donald Trump just kept former.
President Biden's economy in auto drive. and did absolutely nothing. We were. expecting three rate decreases uh this. year. So we were expecting the rates to. be lower. Now 25 basis points higher. They're in that 3.75. to 4% range is the interest rates. When. we talk about interest rates, we don't. talk about a specific number, just to be. clear. It's the range that the Fed. provides for overnight bank-to-bank.
loans. So, I know it could get. technical, but the but when we say we. raised it 25 basis points, we raised the. range from 3.75%. to 4% if that makes sense. And banks. lend each other in that range. Um, so. give you that data point. Um, I'll show. you over here. Donald Trump saying that. his new Fed chair, Kevin Walsh, wants to. cut the interest rates. You can see for. yourself what he says here. Play this. clip. >> Did Kevin Marsh commit to you that he. will push to cut interest rates if he is.
confirmed? >> No, but we talk about it and I've been. following him and I don't want to ask. him that question. I think it's. inappropriate. Probably it probably. would be allowed. I want to keep it nice. and pure, but he certainly wants to cut. rates. I've been watching him for a long. time. That was shortly around the time. period when Worsh was uh appointed and. right before Worsh was, you know, confirmed. Donald Trump was saying that. Um back in July, Kevin Walsh uh made it. clear though that inflation was elevated. and he was going to take steps with the.
Federal Reserve to deal with it despite. Donald Trump saying the contrary. Let's. play it. >> Persistently high prices are a burden. for the American people. But the recent past need not be. prologue. I am pleased to report that members of. the FOMC are unambiguous. and unanimous. This committee will. deliver price stability. >> Here was Worsh testifying in Congress in. July of 2026. Let's play it.
>> Just a month ago, I chaired my very. first meeting of the FOMC. My colleagues and I recognize that high. inflation has been an undue burden on. American households and businesses. >> And then of course all of last year, Donald Trump would give these deranged. rallies where he would attack Jerome. Powell, the former chair, saying, "I. know much more about interest rates than. he does." Here, play this clip. >> Inflation is basically down. And. interest rates came down despite the.
fact that I have a Fed person who's not. really doing a good job. But I won't say. that. I want to be very nice. I want to. be very nice and respectful to the Fed. You're not supposed to criticize the. Fed. You're supposed to let him do his. own thing. But I know much more than he. does about interest rates, believe me. Or when Donald Trump gave an interview. with NBC last year on May 4th, 2025, saying Powell must lower the interest. rates. Um, he'd rather not cuz he. doesn't like me. That's why. It's. because he doesn't like me. Here, play.
this clip. >> Well, he should lower them. And uh at. some point he will uh he'd rather not. because he's not a fan of mine. Not, you. know, he just doesn't like me because I. think he's a total stiff and uh you. know, it's just one of those things. He. should lower them. And I wish the people. that uh are on that board would get him. to lower because we are at a perfect. time. It's already late, but he should. lower interest rates. >> Do you rule out?
