We've got a lot to discuss on this. episode of the Midas Touch podcast. On. Friday, US engaged in military strikes. against Iran. Then it did it again on. Saturday. Iran struck back, hitting. American military bases in Bahrain and. Kuwait. And then a few hours before the. futures markets were sent to open, Barack Ravid Devoxios posted that. sources told him that we were having a. meeting with Iran and everything was. good and that we would no longer be. striking Iran. This is as a predictable.

cycle as just about any. It's as. predictable of a cycle as Donald Trump. infecting things that should otherwise. be great, like the Great American State. Fair, which how do you blow that? How do. you make that the weirdest? and grossest. non-attended thing ever. Donald Trump. found a way to figure it out. The great. American fair was taken over by Donald. Trump's counterprogramming group called. Freedom 250 away from the Smithsonian. and American 250. And now they've turned.

it into some weird oddity where no one. is showing up. I mean to be fair there. may be like 35 people there but state. regime media which calls itself Fox has. like literally devoted every single day. of like trying to make it a thing and. nobody wants to be there. Nowhere people. want to be though in homes that they can. afford. Donald Trump continues however. to say that the housing affordability. bill which was passed on a bipartisan. basis is just a gigantic yawn direct.

It's the. first time we actually saw a bipartisan. piece of legislation that Donald Trump. could have got credit for which actually. helped the American people and he. absolutely hates it. We'll talk about. what's going on there. Donald Trump. saying though, the key thing we need to. do from now until the election, we need. to be hunting communists. He says that.

Democrats are now communists and these. communists are the biggest threat to the. country, even a bigger threat than 9/11, World War II, World War I, and any enemy. of the United States. He says it's the. Democratic Communist. We told you that. this would be their messaging. approaching the midterms. And the. messaging has arrived, and it is more. outrageous and outlandish than ever. expected. But speaking of outrageous and. outlandish, you take a look at some of. these Supreme Court decisions. I guess.

it was a mixed bag. You had a 6-3. decision in a case called Slaughter. where the United States Supreme Court. slaughtered the idea of independent. agencies, saying there is no such thing. as an independent agency anymore. And. that the president of the United States. gets to fire anybody he wants on any. independent agency. He has no ability. I. mean, there's no ability to avoid. whatever the president wants to do. That's it. And that changed 90 years of. law in a case called Humphrey.

Executives. But then the Supreme Court. said, "But we've got one exception that. we're just going to make up because, you. know, the Supreme Court is kind of in on. this whole market manipulation thing. that Donald Trump's been doing." And. they go, "Okay, when it comes to the. Federal Reserve, they're different than. every other agency. Why Supreme Court. six to3 right-wing fascist court? Because we say so. We're going to. distinguish the Federal Reserve. You. could you can impact all these other. agencies, but don't screw up our stocks,

Donald. Don't screw up our money. We're. going to protect that one right there. I. mean, come on. The bottom line is that. independent agencies should all be. independent. These are horrific rulings. by the Supreme Court. I guess we are. It's a good thing that Lisa Cook on the. Federal Reserve board. She's a governor. that as at least as of now under the. latest Supreme Court 5 to4 decision. because they say the Federal Reserve is. different. Trump can't fire her. But. they're just making up an exception and. divining it as the law in order to. protect their bag, their money while.

screwing over the American people in. every other which way. Also should be. noted the Supreme Court declined to hear. Donald Trump's appeal of the Eene Carol. case against him where Trump was found. civily liable for sexual assault and. defamation. That means on that case. where Trump was found civily liable for. sexual assault and defamation, his. appeals have run out. We'll talk about. that and more on this episode of the. No more war, ceasefire. And it was. basically said as like a half joke, but. of course that's exactly what happened. I feel like we've been locked in this. just bizarre kind of purgatory where. it's like we're at war. The futures are. about to open. Oh, we're not at war. anymore. Trump has some project of the.

week that he manages to screw up that's. should be incredibly basic that he. screws up in some catastrophic fashion. He blames Democrats and libs or whoever. he wants to blame. He does some other. heinous stuff and repeat repeat. Here we. are. Anyway, it's good to be here with. everybody. Good to be here. Ben Jordy, great to be here. Midas Mighty. Excited. to get into it. Trump regime and the Trump presidency. like this just feels like and I'm. talking about the war with Iran is going. to go on forever and ever until there's.

there's a new president because I mean. Donald Trump loves to like throw shade. at at Obama's deal that that we were. able to do back then and all of that but. ultimately like the more and more this. drags on like this was the greatest deal. ever. Like Donald, you can't do. anything. Like, you can't do anything. We are stuck in this cycle of stupidness. because of Donald Trump where Barack. Ravid gets to throw in his tweet every. Sunday. The markets get to go up. We do. some bombing when the markets close on.

Friday afternoon. Like, I don't want to. make light of it, but that's just what. we're constantly seeing. So, when I'm. presented with the data and the data. says we are forever stuck in stupid. Groundhog's Day, well, that's what we're. stuck in, I guess, apparently. Ben, what. do you think? >> Well, look, the Obama Presidential. Center, the tickets are all sold out. through November. It's like the hottest. ticket to possibly get. And remember, Donald Trump was just relentlessly. trashing it. He would post AI photos of.

the Obama Presidential Center and make. it look like a garbage can. And I have. to even admit while Donald Trump was. attacking the presidential center. relentlessly and it was still being. constructed. I looked at it and I was. saying, "All right, it's coming. together. It looks a little. interesting." You know, I'm not sure, you know, I'm a fan of that kind of. brutalist architecture, however, you. know, it's described, but it came. together beautifully. The campus looks.

amazing. It looks like the coolest place. imaginable. And it was filled with the. best entertainers for its opening. It. was funny. It brought tears to my eyes. The speeches were incredible. And it's. this enduring testament to the greatness. actually of our country. And it looks. amazing. You contrast that to Donald. Trump who talks the biggest game that. there is and the tough guy chat and I'm. gonna make this so amazing and he can't.

even run what should be the easiest. layup. We'll talk about it more in a. little bit in this show, but we've all. either been to a state fair or a county. fair out here in LA. I think about the. LA County Fair, but I'm sure in your own. hometown or county, there's one that. you've been to before and it's great and. it's fun and there's food and the smells. and the rides and the games and the. family enjoyment and all of that. And uh.

this was a layup because it was. previously going to be run by the. Smithsonian. and it was going to be a nonpartisan. thing. It had ample funding. people. wanted to be associated with it. And. then Donald Trump put his hands all over. it, his disgustingness all over it. And. you just even think about the kickoff. Just think about the kickoff. Like. despite the fact that, you know, this. was the way Trump's handled freedom 250. and taking over American 250 and it was.

all so horrible and he lied to the. performance. But like, okay, you do the. announcement. remember that speech that. Donald Trump gave and it was kicked off. with Shawn Duffy who's has a lot of. kids. One of his children has Down. syndrome standing right next to him and. Shawn Duffy begins by saying, "And we. don't need those libards. We don't need. them around us one bit. We don't need. those performers." And it's like that's. your speech to the American people and.

that's what kind of kicked it off. I. mean, you think about Obama's speech and. Michelle Obama's speech talking about. these higher callings and values of the. American people and inspired people even. if you didn't think about going to the. Obama presidential center. I want to be. associated with that. Feels good. And. then you go to this, you know, this. heinous thing of this Trump regime and. you're like, I don't want to be. associated with that. I don't want to go. to some hatefueled event and people. aren't going. And we'll talk about it.

again a little later in the show. Uh. where you have state regime media, which. calls itself Fox, they're out there. every day. They're giving it the Melania. treatment. I say the Melania treatment. because for her movie, that awful. documentary, they spent all of their. resources in Fox promoting it, promoting. it, promoting. They're promoting the. hell out of this thing. And if it was. just a normal day in Washington DC in. June at this time, it's hot, but you'd. have a lot of people out there. picnicking and having fun and you'd have.

thousands of people out there. Right. now, you just have a few dozen people. here or there that are at this fair and. it looks horrible. But the broader. symbolism of all of this, right, is that. Trump says it's great and it's not. And. it all ties into the fraud. The same way. his reflecting pool, he's turned that. into something gross and disgusting. physically and symbolically and then he. blames it on Antifa and vandals and and. he makes it into this oddity and this. horrible divisive thing. Why is a.

reflecting pool an affair so divisive. because of him? You know, the people. like, "Well, you're making it. political." No, no, he's made it he took. it over and made it into a thing for. himself and it's really bad. And then. his post this morning, I'll turn it over. to you Brett, but his post this morning. is that it's great and Obama, he posts. Obama, he goes, "Do you think people. appreciate what a fantastic job we did. in building and operating the state. fair, the great American state fair at. the National Mall packed with happy. people and everybody loving it?" Ask.

yourself this simple question. Do you. think that Obama or sleepy sleepy Joe. Biden could have done it? The answer is. no. point. And when you read that, it. physically like hurts me because I'm. like, man, we're led by such a dumb. person, such a bad person. It's not. good. It's bad. There's nobody there. It. could have been good. Stop saying it's. good. Stop saying Obama and Biden. It. would have been great, by the way, under. them or former Vice President Kla.

Harris. It would have been amazing. And. then it's also like, yeah, when you say. we did great in the war in Iran, the. great scale is you considering that fair. great. You know, it's you considering. the reflecting pool great. You know, these are objectively bad and awful. things that he says are great. And now. the rest of us are like nonconsensual. shareholders in the Trump meme company, and we're all suffering. Like, we don't. WANT IT. WE DON'T want your memecoin. Well, you have to. It's called the. United States of America. It's like we.

don't want to be non-consensual extras. in your dystopian reality show. Well, you have we don't want to. I just want. to be normal again. I watch form I watch. Prime Minister Carney at the Pride. Parade in Canada and I'm seeing him. there. You know, the people in Toronto. are like pouring water on the guy and. he's like enjoying it and laughing. I. watch Mom Donnie in New York and it's. joyful while Donald Trump's like that's. the biggest threat since 911. That's the. type of communist that he's very. handsome though. very good-looking man.

I'd like to touch his legs. Very. handsome, very attractive, very hot, but. but he's a communist night. You know, that's what's going on. >> We we are so down the rabbit hole and. Donald Trump just needs to make. everything so incredibly weird. and you. know the fair, the reflecting pool, frankly, you know, I know they're a. bigger fish to fry, so to speak, but. they are representative of something. that's far deeper and and and you were. getting at that, Ben, but it's just this. lying about objective facts and things.

that you could see with your own eyes to. me is the most sing is the single most. damaging thing about Trump and this MAGA. movement beyond all the policy stuff. I. think this is like the most sinister. evil stuff. imaginable telling people. that what they see with their own eyes. is not what's actually happening. It's. like quite literally straight out of the. book 1984 and that's what Trump and Fox. and all these people are doing. And you. could see this infrastructure in place. when you see Fox every day, every hour.

hammering and look at all the people. behind us. This place is packed. This is. the best fair we've ever been to. Everyone's having a great time and. nobody's there. And it's just like at at. a certain point, could you be be. freaking normal? Okay, could you be. normal? And if you mess up, you mess up. Okay, but be normal. And the fact is. they brought this upon themselves. Like. Ben said, they infused their toxic MAGA. politics into this thing. It was. supposed to be this bipartisan event. Quite frankly, when I heard about this. idea of the Great American State Fair, I.

actually thought it was kind of cool. You get a state fair, you get a booth of. all the 50 states. People get to have a. little experience with each of the 50s. I'm like, that's a cool concept, actually. What a great way to celebrate. the United States of America. But of. course, Donald Trump had to put his. stink on it. Trump had to take the whole. thing over from the Smithsonian. So all. the performers who they were going to. have, the nonpartisan nature of it, all. that stuff all thrown away for them to. start this thing like Ben said with the. guy with Shawn Duffy calling people. libtards or the UFC event where they're.

calling Michelle Obama a man, where. Trump gives his deranged speech where. everybody's walking out and then Trump. posts unprompted, "Nobody walked out of. my speech." 45,000 people were there. 45,000 people were there when they were. not anywhere near 45,000 people. But I. guess the point I want to make is that. it's never about just one lie. These are. of course no no one's life is going to. be ruined because the great American. national fair sucks, right? But there.

are these small little lies that they. just pump out every day and then they. seem to spend especially like more time. on the stupid lies like getting Fox to. be there every single day and they're. just boom boom boom boom. They're. pumping this stuff out all the time. And. the reason that this matters is because. if the government is willing to lie to. you about something that you could. literally watch on video and disprove or. you could go to with your own eyes and.

disprove and they have zero hesitation. in telling you about these little tiny. things that you could actually see. You. got to think of the things that you. don't have access to. Sorry, hit the. microphone. The things that you can't go. do a deeper dive in. Uh what are they. going to say about the economy? What are. they going to say about what's happening. with the war in Iran? What are they. going to say about any policy quite. frankly? What happens in Minneapolis? What ICE is doing? What's going on with. immigration? Are the Haitians eating. dogs and cats? All this stuff is.

related. They're all part of the same. kind of system of just pumping out. propaganda, lying, and then using these. lies to do really heinous stuff. And. that heinous stuff could be. deportations. It could be killing fellow. Americans. It could be taking away the. right to vote. And all this is tied the. same way that Trump is going around now. saying the biggest threat right now is. communism. It's taking over America. The. communists are here and I need to do. everything. I think he's building a. little bit of a case for himself to then. go, "Oh, we can't allow these elections.

to go through because all these. communists won the midterms and we can't. allow that to happen. It's an. existential threat to this country. We. have to shut it all down." And that's. why the reflecting pool, the Great. American State Fair, they seem like. inconsequential things that are I mean. they're fun to mock for sure, but they. are part of a much larger and more. sinister scheme that they are cooking. up. And I I was thinking the other day. like you could imagine imagine another. White House for some reason was like, I.

need to paint the bottom of the. [laughter] of the reflecting pool or. something and say it turned out to be. just as bad as the way Donald Trump did. it. No other president would ever do it. this poorly. But say they did, they. would make like a self-deprecating joke. about it, right? They would like maybe. turn their Twitter profile to be like a. green white house. They would call. themselves the greenhouse. They go in. like Jimmy Fallon and like crack a joke. about like they they would be. self-deprecating. It would be a little. light-hearted thing in the culture and. they would fix it and they would move.

on. They would say, "Oops, my bad." But. what does Trump do? The Antifa vandals. were criminalizing them. Here's security. footage of this lady from 300 feet. touching the water with her fingers. We. need to arrest her and ruin her life. Like, this is really psychotic, fascist, authoritarian stuff. And you'll notice. the more right, the farther, the more. extreme that they get, the more that. they try to demonize the other side. because they're trying to pull the. Overton window further and further and.

further to the right to try to normalize. their authoritarian and fascist. behavior. Perfectly said, B. I don't. have much more to add here, but I I'll. just say this. Look, I don't like when. people lie to me, but I especially hate. it when people lie badly at me, right? When the lies are so stupid that it's. just insulting my intelligence that they. don't think I could see through their. BS. And this is one of those moments yet. again where Trump and MAGA are just. lying to the American people about the.

most obvious and quite frankly the. silliest things to lie about. The fair. is a great success. There's like 10. people walking through. Like, what are. you talking about? Just Just stop being. weird. The reflecting pool is this. magnificent blue. No, it's not. It's. green and it's gross. Just admit like I. we could see it. So, if you again, if. you're willing to lie about this stupid. stuff so poorly, you know, what else are. you just willing to lie about? Why? To. protect your your image or your ego? I.

really don't understand it. And maybe. maybe maybe it's a good thing I don't. because maybe it means I'm not a. psychopath because I think that's where. this all stem from. And I'm not just. saying it to call names and call MAGA. names, but again, the lies are just so. stupid and so obviously lies that I can. only determine that you think I'm. stupid, that you think the American. people are stupid, and you think that if. you repeat it enough and put your. trillion dollar propaganda arm behind. it, that everyone's just going to. believe you. That history is just going. to believe you. But that's just not the.

case. That is absolutely not the case. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that. this last like month and a half has been. one of the most embarrassing times in. the entire Trump presidency from UF the. UFC fight which was just a total. disaster, the reflecting pool, you know, fiasco, America 250 now just like again. blowing up in shambles. And it could. have been a cool thing. Like people want. to celebrate the country, but stop. getting your mag stank all over it, right? Don't piss on my head and tell me. it's raining. If it's a bad event, it's.

a bad event. The issue here is MAGA just. loves being pissed on. They're like, "More piss drum. Keep lying to me. Keep. lying to me. I love it. I love" And it's. just like, "No, we don't love it. We're. not consenting to the piss. So, we're. going to call it out here." It's It's. absolutely ridiculous. Brett, don't. consent to the piss. If if if things. were going good and people were thriving. and things were getting more affordable. and inflation was going down and people. were sharing in wealth that's now purely. being amassed by trillionaires like Elon.

Musk and Trump's billionaire friends. maybe even some of the things you say. Jordy you know are less important or. less severe certainly speaks to a. malignant narcissism and a psychotic. personality but you can all be like all. right but at least but I I think it's. when people are suffering more than. ever. When you're in this catastrophic. and unlawful war that's never ending. with fakeus and fake ceasefires, it. enhances all of these other things. And.

it makes it one gigantic cluster. You. know what? And the question is, if. you're willing to lie about that, what. else? And the answer is Manob. sending a. tomahawk missile that kills. 167 168 little girls in an elementary. school, perhaps 200 people, you know, total or more in that elementary school. in a war crime, and then covering it up. and then saying we weren't there. We'll. never get to the bottom of it. The. underlying reasons for engaging in the. catastrophic and unlawful war by saying.

that these nuclear that Iran has nuclear. weapons and it's days away from nuclear. annihilation. uh you use the same tactics that the. Trump regime does to say Alex Prey and. Renee Nicole Good were terrorists and. that the reason why they were. slaughtered and killed by ICE and Border. Patrol Gustapo is that they were. attacked. So I it it it then is it. pervades everything and then you uh see. you know wow this is a regime that.

almost relishes in the suffering of the. American people. they almost want it. And then you hear Trump in the Oval. very, very rattled and the United States. decides it's going to strike Iran, but. it would wait until the markets closed. and conducted the strikes around 405. 410. the United States and we had to do. it because Iran was targeting and. striking ships uh tankers to be specific. that were being encouraged by the United. States not to follow the IRGC. administered route in the straight of.

Hormuz. Article five of theou between. the United States and Iran says that it. is Iran that will be administering the. straight of with Oman and that they will. do it free for the first 60 days which. implies that after 60 days there will be. tolls or some sort of fees that will be. charged. Oman confirmed today that they. will not do tolls but they will do some. sort of environmental fee or some other. kind of insurance costs with Iran. So.

there will be some sort of cost, but I. guess the United States plan was, okay, let's say it's going to be administered. by them. Wink, wink, wink. Gotcha. But. we're really going to then encourage, uh, tankers, VLCC's, those very large. cargo container ships, uh, and other. vessels to use the our route. And then. we're going to be like, gotcha. You've. been punked by theou. Well, Iran then. said, no, we're not going to let you use. the Oman route. And then the United. States struck Iran. That happened a few.

times. Um, and then we were heading we. were heading into and then Iran struck. by the way uh United States the fifth. fleet in Bahrain and United States bases. in Kuwait. And then as we were getting. closer to the markets opening the. futures markets oftentimes dictate the. momentum heading into the week. Um, and. so what happens? Boom. Barack Ravid. posts, "A senior American tells me," and. I think by now we all know his source is. either Donald Trump directly or Witoff.

or Kushner or one of those, but a senior. American tells me the US and Iran have. agreed to halt the mutual attacks in. these straight of and to hold the. meeting on Tuesday in Doha. Now, the. meeting was supposed to take place today. in either Switzerland or Doha. It was. technical discussions. Those were called. off by Iran on Friday. So there were it. wasn't like a new meeting. These were. meetings that were supposed to take. place and they were supposed to take. place and discuss Iran's nuclear. enrichment.

uh instead what now is being discussed. is maybe there will be a meeting in the. future about the straight of Hormuz. issue which we were supposed to move. beyond and move to the nuclear. enrichment issue and what was going to. happen there because theou pretty. clearly spells out that Iran administers. the strain of her moves with Oman. whether you like that or don't like that. to me that's not the point the point is. that's what theou says that's the. document Donald Trump held up in. Versailles and that's the document if.

you keep your word that you should. follow. Also, article one of theou says. a permanent ceasefire uh to take place. in Lebanon. And then when there were. technical talks in Switzerland two weeks. back, there was a joint statement that. was issued with the United States and. Iran's blessing that talked about a. deconliction cell in southern Lebanon. deconliction, meaning stop the conflict, resolve the issue of Israel, of. Netanyahu being in southern Lebanon. And.

it said that Iran, Pakistan, Qatar, and. the United States working with Lebanon. would be part of the deconliction cell. Now, whether you like that or don't like. that, that's kind of besides the point. That's the statement that was made. That's what JD Vance, the vice. president, agreed to, and that's how it. was going to be dealt with. But then. last week, Marco Rubio took a trip to. the Middle East and did something in. direct contravention, direct. contradiction of the Iranouou and the.

deconliction statement that JD Vance. agreed to. And Rubio basically said. actually it's going to be Israel working. with the Lebanese government without any. of the members of parliament linked with. Iran being involved and they will be. dealing with the deconliction. It will. be Israel's discretionary decision when. to leave southern Lebanon and we will. create pilot zones in addition to the. security zone as Israel calls it which. is the a big chunk of land Israel.

occupies in southern Lebanon. And the. way it claims it has the right to it is. it says that it's a security zone and. that's how they say they have the right. to take over the land. And then the idea. is, okay, we'll create two pilot zones, which in theory would be taking land. from the security zone and allowing the. Lebanese army to go into those areas. But when you actually look at it. objectively, the pilot zones are. additional land outside of the security.

zones. So it gives Israel more land and. Netanyahu more land in Lebanon and then. says we'll take over this land which. Israel hasn't been able to take over yet. and then we'll pilot that and let. Lebanon go into those areas with the. goal of fueling a civil war in Lebanon. between the Lebanese army and Hezbollah. And then it basically says Israel gets. to decide on its own when it will leave. southern Lebanon. And then you have. Netanyahu and Israel Katz the defense.

minister and Smutri and Ben Gave all the. leadership of Israel saying we did it. This destroys Iran's ability to engage. in diplomacy in Lebanon. We screwed over. Iran. This was a perfect checkmate and. this will destroy Iran's influence in. Lebanon. Totally. Now, regardless of. what you think about that, one way or. another, what we can't, and by the way, I think that there's a genocide in Gaza.

taking place. I'll just be very clear. And I think that Netanyahu's regime has. killed thousands of innocent people in. Beirut, which is a war crime and. absolutely unacceptable. And I just be. very clear about, you know, that. But. we're whatever your feelings are, what. can't be disputed is that JD Vance. entered into oneou and then a statement. from technical talks involving. deconliction cells that said one thing. and then Rubio working with Netanyahu.

did one that's the exact opposite. And. these two agreements, the Lebaneseou. framework and the Iranouou framework are. in direct contradiction with each other, which why am I even bringing this up? It's because I'm notamus or I'm not even. a doomer when I try to predict future. war or this is going to happen. It's. just obvious to me when you create that. situation what the result is going to be. and you have Israel's defense minister. saying we're getting ready for the third.

war against Iran and that we will not. withdraw from Gaza from Syria and. Lebanon. You have Netanyahu saying there. will never be a Palestinian state and. you have you know Israel striking in. Syria and you know which just happened. and and Syria's Syria's leader Alshara. is like what like what are you doing? Uh. Alamemed al-Shara you know and he's been. cozying up to kind of Trump and and and. so and then they they they strike inside.

Syria and then they also strike in. southern Lebanon. you you have that. going on the manipulation of the market. you have going on and then here was the. update by the way and then I'll throw it. to you Brent I'm sorry I know I'm. getting very technically detailed but I. think it's important that people see. what's happening so then you have Wit. this was the update from Barack Ravit. update today special envoy Witkoff and. Kushner will depart today for Doha where. they will meet on Tuesday with the prime. minister of Qatar and additional senior. officials to discuss talks with Iran.

pause over there h who's missing from. those discussions. Iran, it says nothing. about Iran being there. We're just. sending Witoff and Kushner to show up in. Qatar in Doha to discuss Iran. Then it. goes on Wednesday, the technical teams. of the United States and Iran are. expected to hold separate meetings with. the med with the mediators from Qatar. and Pakistan according to senior White. House officials. there. It's according. to his sources, but also if you note the.

language that he uses, there's nothing. about Iran being there or Iran. negotiating with the United States on. Tuesday or Wednesday and that was. supposed to happen. So, the real story. is it was cancelled. The actual talks. that was supposed to be productive on. enrichment of nuclear material, that was. cancelled and now there are fake talks. that are taking place right now. And. then Iran's foreign ministry said, "We. canled the talks." Iran's foreign. ministry spoke, "We're not doing it. We. don't know what they're talking about.

We're not showing up." And so that's the. reality versus saying the State Fair is. going great. The reflecting pool is. vandal. You see the theme here? And I. again, I know that was a long tedious. technical look, but I think we need to. no one no one's breaking it down that. way. We need to understand what's. happening. >> It's a lot of important context. And I. don't think uh a lot of people really. realize, and I really don't see other. media truly reporting how it seems like. the intent of Rubio in Lebanon is to.

sabotage the entire JD Vance deal that. was happening and is supposed to happen. in the future in Switzerland. And I feel. like too many people are like, "Oh, look, they're doing great things in. Lebanon and they're make doing this in. Iran and look at these separate paths. that but they're not parallel paths. there are convergent paths and they are. crashing into one another and I cannot. emphasize that enough. Now I've seen a. lot of people ask and write in the. comments, can you guys go through theou.

um you know I I' I'd like to read it um. for myself. I know you guys reference. it. Well, we have posted it on our. Substack so I will say that. of the United States and you look at. what the Iranians are saying, you look. at what Netanyahu is saying, you. actually see some people are actually. telling the truth and some people aren't. telling the truth. And I think that's. important. And I think even in these. negotiations to the point that Ben was. getting at, if you're Iran and you're. making a deal and you expect the other. person to uphold that deal and but the. people who are making that deal are also. saying that the the fair is packed and. that vandals are doing the uh the. destroying this pool and all this other.

garbage and BS, they're going to lie. about the deal also because Donald Trump. is a bad faith operator. It's why he was. found liable for fraud. It's why his. companies were convicted of fraud. it. it's the same pattern his entire life. except now he's doing this on an. international scale and it's why the. lies are are so dangerous and why he. just he can't be trusted doing any any. of this and I think Iran realizes that I. think uh a lot of the international. community uh has wised up to this after.

kind of placating the guy for the first. year um and that's good to see um but. you know it's it's kind of like damage. control mode right now for the entire. world as they have to deal with like. this psychotic human being who is just. like destroying everything. And one of. the tactics that Trump uses and that. I've seen his supporters use is that he. tries to make everything that's a. criticism of him a criticism of the. United States. And you'll see this. across everything. So I, you know, any.

post that we've made where we talk about. the low attendance of the fair, an. objective fact, um, or a fact about, uh, the United States breaking theou or, you. know, something not the damage to US. military bases, you you inevitably get a. MAGA person commenting or or saying. something to you like, "Wow, you must. hate America. You must hate this. country. You must hate the United. States. Wow." an anti-American attack.

And the point is, no, it's the truth. You got to be able to tell the truth in. this country. The most American thing. you could do is actually tell the truth, especially when it's critical of your. government. You know what's unamerican? What's unamerican is right now the. people in the White House who are lying. to you and you for trying to silence any. sort of voices who are trying to speak. out and are actually trying to get the. facts out there. That's what's. unamerican. And I wish we could all be. celebrating the 250th anniversary. I. wish we weren't in this war in the first. place, but Donald Trump has done these.

things. Now we are here and yes, he. deserves to be criticized. We'll get. into some of these Supreme Court. decisions in a little bit, but I even. noticed Trump said this himself when he. was speaking about the EG Carol ruling. in his post after the fact because he. went right to social media. There was. one line that really stuck out to me and. Donald Trump wrote about the Eugene. Carol ruling. Donald Trump not being. able to bring to the Supreme Court a. case in which he was held liable for. sexual assault and had to pay millions.

of dollars in damages uh for defamation. for lying about it. And Trump said this. is an attack on the United States of. America that he couldn't take this take. this to the Supreme Court. And I think. that right there reveals his entire. strategy and the way that all of his. supporters always try to weaponize. criticism of Donald Trump into making. that criticism of the United States. >> Absolutely. Look, what do these snow?

No. What? Sorry. What do these MAGA. folks always say like the these. misogynistic MAGA folks when a woman. wants to become, you know, president or. runs for president? Oh, she can't be. president. Women are so emotional. Look, Donald Trump is the single most. emotional snowflake to ever exist. And. everyone around him is too scared to. tell him that he's doing a horrible job. So, he surrounded himself by all of. these yes people that just want to. continue to tell him how great he's. doing at the expense of the American. people because they know that any sort.

of criticism that they give to him, he'll freak out, fire them, ruin their. lives. He can't internalize any sort of. of of feedback that will help the. American people. He just again wants his. ego stroked at all times. He is the most. emotional snowflake that we've ever had. in such a high leadership position. Well, it's also why I started the show. saying that we were in stupid. Groundhog's Day with the war in Iran. It's because the instability of the. regime of the Trump regime. This war is.

not going to end under his presidency. You you have Vance doing his thing. You. you have Rubio on his mission doing his. thing. Both trying to set themselves up. to be the guy in 28. And then you have. Trump posting from his house at 2. a.m. in the morning, blowing up any. deals that anyone's trying to work on. because again, he is the single most. emotional person to ever be the. president of the United States. He is a. coward that has no idea what he's doing. But he again has surrounded himself by. all these people that just want to ego.

stroke him, that just want to tell him. how great he is, that want to leave. little notes in his office to tell him, "Oh, how awesome he is." It's so. pathetic that we found ourselves here as. a country. And to me, once we get beyond. this presidency and into 28 and into 30. and just going forward, it's like, how. do we get our sense of purpose back as a. country? How do we get like our shine. back? You know, like the fans used to. like fluff up his jacket because he was. like the cool guy. How do we become the. cool guy again? And I I I the answer is. I don't think we do or at least I don't.

think it happens immediately because we. have so humiliated ourselves over the. course of these last, you know, 10 or so. years under the whole Trump fiasco that. we've been living under that the world. does not respect us. Maybe the world's. never quite frankly respected us the way. I was grown up and taught that the world. had respected us. Maybe I'm having an. awakening here. But now more than ever. with Donald Trump just clowning himself. and clowning our country by proxy is. just so disheartening to me as someone. who loves this country and I just want.

to get back to a place we don't even. need to be the cool guy. I'll just be. like the cool guy's friend. Like that's. like kind of like I'll take that but I I. just don't know how we get there. Ben, any idea? >> Yeah, you mentioned the notes. I think. you're also referring there to Natalie. Harp, who is referred to as Donald. Trump's human printer, and some people. refer to her as Donald Trump's something. else. She's the one who leaves a note. saying, "I love you. I'll always be. there for you." there's a term, I may be botching the. name of it, but it's actually a. historical term of like crazy king. syndrome where the court, you know, that. the king's court is like surrounded by. some of the strangest and oddest people, you know, and there is like there's. always like a Natalie Harp type figure. And so one of the issues is is he's her. she's his human printer and potentially. whatever. And so he'll say, you know, like he'll be in a meeting and this is. what they say in that book regime. change. you know, Natalie, give me the. right answer. And she'll like print out.

in Albania. you know that that that's. how Trump sees it as a zero sum. And so. Donald Trump was asked about uh it today. and his response was big yawn. I just. think it's one big yawn here. A big. yawn. >> Let let me just distill what Trump is. essentially saying because he's now. trying to tie this to the Save Act, which is a piece of voter suppression. legislation as part of their efforts to. his and then the Republicans efforts to. rig the election. Trump is making it.

harder for Americans to buy a home. unless he's allowed to make it harder. for them to vote. And I think that's the. point that people out there need to be. making about what Trump is doing right. now. The way he so flippantly writes off. actually a piece of legislation that is. trying at least to combat the. affordability crisis with housing. And I. think Trump reveals his cards as well. when he speaks about this issue. He. doesn't speak about it from a position. of empathy, which I, as I've always. said, empathy is, I think, a superpower.

While the uh right-wing in this country. tries to act like it is the worst thing. imaginable. I think it's a great thing. But Trump lacks the empathy to be able. to go, okay, I understand your pain. Here's how I want to help. Instead, you'll hear in comments that he makes, he'll be like, "Well, I made a lot of. money in housing, and I know a lot of. people who are making a lot of money in. housing, and I don't want their housing. to uh their the price of their homes. that they're renting out and stuff to go. down. And so, we need to actually be.

bringing home prices up." Something. Donald Trump said today, we need to be. bringing the price of homes up for. everybody. This is we're in an. affordability crisis right now. And it. doesn't have to be a zero- sum game like. Ben said, but Trump reveals his cards. Trump is always going to try to work to. try to make the richest among us richer. and screw the people who are just trying. to get in the door trying to get their. first home. He doesn't care about them. And we've even seen Republicans in. recent days, weeks calling him out. I. mean, uh, who was it on the air? I think. it was Thomas Massie who, uh, over the.

weekend said something like, you know, I. would sign the Save Act, but like, you. know, you making up all this stuff. We. control everything. We won every. election. So like all this crap that. Donald Trump is saying, you know, it's. all lies. And so yeah, you you won you. won all the elections. I understand that. the the few elections that you don't win. here and there uh didn't win here and. there, you blamed that it was being. stolen. But that's all your lies. That's. the reflecting poll all over again. That's the fair is packed. It's all a. part of the same scheme which is about.

consolidating power uh becoming more and. more and more extreme while you. marginalize the people who are trying to. fight you and are trying to actually. help the people. >> 100%. his presidency, connecting him closer. and closer to Herbert Hoover, someone. who's seemingly always on his mind these. days. I wonder why. I mean, for Trump, he he he's just he's so insane, such an. egoomaniac that signing a bipartisan. piece of legislation around housing and. affordability. He feels like that then makes it harder. for him to beat his chest and lie to the. American people that they're living. through this golden age, as he likes to. say, because why would you need a piece. of legislation to help make things more.

affordable when in Trump's eyes, everything is great? We're living. through the golden age, everyone. He. views this as an admission of failure. because Brett to your point he only. cares about himself. He doesn't care. about what bill he signs actually you. know through through any sort of lens. just so long as whatever bill he signs. makes him look good at the end of the. day. American people be damned. He views. it as he was a landlord, right? And he's. representing the landlords. I should say.

the slum lords, right? He was a slum. lord and that's how he ran things. That's why he would attack Mayor Mom. Donnie recently for the rent. stabilization board freezing rent. increases for a two-year period. And. Donald Trump almost caught himself. recognizing how bad his economy is. Like. energy costs are going up and this cost. is going up. This is going to crush the. landlords and now the landlords are. unable to raise their I mean things are. going really really good. I'm turning.

the economy. He said that in his speech. things are going actually amazing right. now. And he revealed everything in that. as well where his view has always been I. got to I'm the private equity guy. I'm. the slum lord guy. Like I can't be I'm. not happy that rents are frozen for you. know people who can't afford their rent. I don't want to have new home buyers. I. want to make sure that I help private. equity companies and rich people in rich. neighborhoods increase the value of.

their homes. And if I have to if I'm. helping people get homes that means they. where do you think those homes are going. to be built potentially in the. neighborhoods with some of the rich. people and then that's going to bring. down the housing prices of my rich. friends who hang out with me in Mara. Lago. So we got to make sure that we. keep housing away from that's his. mentality. Okay. And what con artists. like him are able to see and perceive.

historically and in the present the pain. and suffering that people feel. What he. is expert at an expert at as a as a. fraud in a bad way. He senses the fear. and the pain, but he knows how to. exploit it and take advantage of it. And. some of the problems from other people. who step into political fora is they. don't understand it and they want to. test the messaging in this focus group. and that focus group and duh and they. don't see the pain to actually deliver.

results. What's fascinating is when you. see someone like a New York City mayor, mom Donnie able to see the pain and. suffering because he listens, diagnose. it, and come up with policy to help. people. That's the biggest threat to the. con artist frauds who sense it, know how. to exploit it, say the right words, cause division, and then when you lure. people in, then you take take take. And. then when things don't go what you.

promised, that's when you blame the. other. I was about to solve it for you. We were we were on, remember, I was. doing this. I was doing that. And then. the communists came along and they. screwed it up. And then the Vandals came. along and then and then Zalinski came. along and he screw and then NATO came. along and they screwed it up. And then. soand so came along and I was all going. to go according to plan. But then that's. what happened. That's where we are with.

this. And so what's the messaging where. you see whoa, no matter what you want to. label or call mom donnie this, that or. the other, he's delivering for the. people. He's a beloved individual in New. York City who's actually helping the. people on the issues he said. In. contrast to Trump who said the things. and then worked to brutally screw the. people. So, you know, the state regime. press that's there also are teeing it up. for Donald Trump, you know, in order to.

be in order to say it's like a script, right? It's like state regime media in. the Oval Office. So, someone's like, "So, what do you make mom saying that um. he's willing to be the face of. socialism? What do you make of that?". And by the way, Trump is like taking. over companies, you know, in the United. States. Trump's like manipulating them. I mean, Trump is doing socialism for the. billionaires, right? I mean, Trump's. basically doing like salary caps and. protections like in sports leagues for.

the billionaires that screw over that. screw over the workers, right? I mean, that's a model that Trump's basically, you know, break, you know, is bringing. over here. Um, so watch what Trump says. when he's asked about Mumani. Let's play. this clip. >> It really topped everything by a lot. today. Yeah, >> Mr. President. Zor Mandani said in an. interview this week that he was open to. being the poster child for socialist. candidates. Are you worried about more. socialist candidates across the United? >> I think it's a big threat to our nation. actually because it's not socialism. It's really communism. They use the word.

social democrat because it sounds so. nice, but it's really communism you're. talking about. I think it's the biggest. threat to our nation. there is maybe since our founding. That. includes World War I, World War II, September 11th. It includes the uh Pearl. Harbor attack. I think this is the biggest threat to. our nation. People will smile when I say. that, but the smart people are going to. say, you know, he's probably right. It's.

basically introducing communism into the. United States of America. There's never. been anything so dangerous. Thank you. very much, everybody. >> Thank you. Those are suckers and. losers. We know how Donald Trump felt. about 9/11. He was bragging that his.

building became one of the tallest. buildings after the Twin Towers were. knocked down. And then he was very. willing to bring the Saudis right away. to do golf tournaments with live at his. golf courses. And then Trump spread the. lies that no one really knows what's 911. was about when he was asked by 9/11. families about how are you hosting Saudi. Arabia golf tournaments and normalizing. this live golf tournament. It's for for. Donald Trump and for the Epstein class.

The idea that American people can have. access to homes, to health care, to. child care for them in their own sick. and demented mind is worse than actual. American tra that's how they think these. Epstein class people. Brett Jordan. >> Yeah. The election of Zoran Mani who has. incredibly high approval ratings and is. accomplishing things that all of his. biggest critics were like he'll never do.

that. Oh, wait. He got the reno. What. else can he do? He just keeps. accomplishing all this stuff. Um, but. like here here here's let me step back. for a second. What I think you could. look at the way that these supporters. react to each individual and it also. reveals a lot. Uh, I've been seeing all. these clips of of mom Donnie lately. And. so mom Donnie uh, you know, was at the. pride parade over the weekend in New. York City. Anytime he's walking around. New York City, it's like Mickey Mouse.

walking around Disneyland. Everyone is. like so happy and freaking out and. excited to see him. You see people. smiling. You see people happy. Everybody. wants a picture or a handshake. He's. smiling. He's happy. He's interacting. with the people. Like, you know how. like, you know, when there's like a po a. popular person, people joke like, "Oh. yeah, he's the mayor. He's like the. mayor. He's like the mom Donnie is that. guy, right? He He's that guy right now. in New York. He's always around. He's.

always there. People see him out. He's. younger than me, which every time I'm. reminded of, I'm like, "Wow, that's. insane." And and people like him. They. like the energy. And when you look at. people like a Donald Trump and you see. the way his supporters react to him, it's a much different energy, right? You. look at the way people react. For. example, let's go back uh to where we. were at the beginning of this episode, the beginning of this Freedom 250 event. or whatever it's called right now. And. uh you have uh Shawn Duffy uh saying we.

don't need those libards and the crowd. going. left them. It comes from anger. It comes. from vitriol. It comes from hatred. And. I think you know they're kind of. adjacent emotions when you think about. it like you know that sort of pull. But. obviously they are incredibly different. One, a passionate people coming together. because of things they hate, of things. they want to tear down, of people they. want to destroy, of people who they. think are harming them by their mere.

existence. And then in the case of Amam. Donnie and a lot of the people who who. voters right now are getting really. excited about, you see people presenting. a positive vision. Here's what I could. do for you. Here's I understand your. pain. Here's what I want to do for your. situation with housing for grocery. prices. Here's how we could actually. make something better. You don't have to. live this way. You don't have to have a. worse life than your parents had in this.

country. And so, I think when you step. back and you actually just look at the. way that people are reacting to these. figures, it also tells you a whole lot. about the movements and it tells you a. whole lot about the people behind the. movements. And Donald Trump and these. Republicans, they, let's face it, they. got nothing to run on going into the. midterms. It's a complete and utter. disaster. They've failed on everything. They've had an opportunity. They've. failed miserably on affordability. They. said there would be no new wars. We're. in what could be another forever war.

right now. It's an utter disaster. He's. tanked the global economy. Uh he's. completely ruined the the oil markets, which are more volatile than ever. uh. he's still hiding Epstein files and. refuses to get justice for uh those uh. um you know in the Epstein files. And so. what do they have left? They just have. this fear-mongering. So they go back to. their same playbook that they've had. since the 1950s. They're going. communism. It's a threat. It's urgent. It's going to destroy you. And they're.

trying to use that energy that you see. of that anger right now to further. divide the country. I could only hope. that there are enough people in this. country right now who see these games. for what they are. And that's why we. always say here at the Midas Touch. Network is don't buy into the rightwing. framing. And the thing that bothers us, I think, the most about the way so many. in the corporate media report on things. is that they really buy in to the.

right-wing framing. They take the oh, you know, we're uh what do they call. themselves? We're uh finance hawks. What. do they call what do they call. themselves? We're we're we're good on. the economy. We're. >> we're deficit hawks. >> We're deficit hawks. Thank you. We're. deficit hawks. We we and they just. accept all this garbage like it's the. truth when it's like never been true. I. don't know. They do it on that and then. they do it on these bigger broader. issues. And so that's why we always say.

instead of accepting this BS right-wing. framing on everything and instead of. humoring Donald Trump with all of his. deranged lies, you have to call him out. on it and you have to also present a. positive vision because when you succeed. on the merits and when you are actually. delivering for the people, it actually. makes Donald Trump look smaller, right? It makes a lot of politicians look. smaller quite frankly. But when you see. a guy like M Donnie and he's out there. and he actually does something that.

people asked him to do, something that. he ran on, something that is uplifting. people, that actually makes Donald. Trump's lies and blame games and all. that stuff, it makes him look like a. very tiny tiny individual. >> Absolutely. Well, look, when you look at. at a platform that's built on hope, like. authentically built on on hope and. progress, harnessing those emotions from. those people of like genuine, yeah, we. could be better and we can all be better. if we do X, Y, and Z versus a.

fear-mongerer versus someone who wants. to segregate the other. You know, yeah, you could get people motivated like. that, but when someone is genuinely able. to harness the positivity of things, I. found personally that that becomes a a. way more uh bigger way and better way to. motivate people in a truly um like. beautiful way to to harness progress and. move forward, right? You're not. alienating and segregating and saying.

don't do this and fear-mongering, but. you're actually trying to build people. up for the greater good to reach a place. that makes more people happy that. benefits more people in the end. And. when you could elicit that, like those. types of feelings from people at mass. like M like Mani is able to do right. now, you just see the contrast like it's. so in your face. Brett, you're so right, man. When he's walking around New York. City, people are that's the mayor. I. mean, yeah, that's literally the mayor, but that's literally also the person. that's trying to elicit these emotions. of positivity and progress in a way that.

I think in our politics has been so. lost, right, for so long, it's just been. so built on like hatred and exiling and. pointing out the other. But the way. Mumani is able to do it, man, I mean, it's it's I give him props. It's he's. really good at the politics thing. I'll. >> Biden had a really good analysis that I. saw. I'm not sure if it was on BBC or a. Canadian uh channel where he said, you. know, hate is a very potent tool that. motivates people to make very bad.

decisions, but it is a factor that does. move and motivate people shortterm, he. says. He goes, "But it's unsustainable. long term because hate compounds hate. and it brings you often to very dark, terrible places that often result in. travesty and catastrophe and. destruction. long-term, he described love and empathy.

and community is a more long-term. sustainable force that drives and. motivates people. And if you think about. it, um, not the way, you know, Trump is. out there manipulating the markets, but. if you think about the arc or the. direction of history, you know, we're. certainly in a moral and ethical. depression, as a country, a values and. principles depression as a country, an.

economic catastrophe, which often goes. hand in hand that Donald Trump and this. regime has brought us into the deeper. and broader question becomes, you know, will this be a great depression blip. that just continues on or will we dig. our way out of this and hopefully the. arc moves towards progress and this. becomes known as just a very dark time. in American history that we can all get. beyond and it could be used to slingshot.

us into a future of empathy and love and. actually solving problems. But that. truly takes us or we need to take us out. of this cycle which right now it's kind. of like a ultra vi volatility cycle if. you've ever seen those where it's just. like up down up down up down up down up. down up down up down and we need we need. to slingshot into a forward progress. generationally that I hope lasts.

forever. I'm a realist and know sadly if. we look into the future there will. always be times where bad forces will. pull us back. But we need to figure this. out generationally because what we can't. have happen is if there is a Democratic. president who takes over, all of a. sudden all of the damage that Trump does. gets heaped on the back of whoever that. person is and they have to fix it. And. then before you know it, in a two-year.

cycle, it everything gets blamed on that. person versus the actual progress we. need to do. And so we have to think. about that foundationally and. generationally of building and aspiring. something long-term, not just any. specific cycle. And you know, I look at. these Supreme Court rulings which are. definitely a mixed bag. And they. certainly at least with this decision. called the slaughter decision delivers a. big win for Trump's horrible agenda in. overturning a case called Humphrey's.

executive which is a 90-year president. saying that agencies are independent and. you can't fire even if you're the. president of the United States heads of. these agencies and departments unless. you fire them for cause and even then. you have to reach a very very high. standard. but you can't just fire. people, you know, without cause. And now. the Supreme Court said, "Nope, we're. going to overturn Humphrey's executive.". And Donald Trump, you can get rid of. anyone appointed by Democrats and you. could appoint just all of your MAGA.

people and horrible on its face, right? The issue though becomes when a. Democratic president takes over, then. you could fire all these Republican. people and you get rid of all of them. and then I guarantee you these MAGA. snowflakes will start to WHINE AND SAY, "NO, WE HAVE TO OVERTURN THAT." And. they'll do it. But you got to create. another exception, Supreme Court. You've. got to create an exception. Now, today. the Supreme Court did indeed say that.

Lisa Cook, a governor on the Federal. Reserve Board, uh, needs to be given due. process and can't be fired without cause. or can't be fired the way Donald Trump. has fired her. And that the process. there and a case needs to continue to. which Bull Bill Py who Donald Trump. appointed as the acting director of. national uh intelligence, well, we're. going to get her for mortgage fraud. you'll see we'll get her for mortgage, which is crazy that the director of. national intelligence is tweeting or. posting on X, you know, those types of.

things. The ruling as it relates to Lisa. Cook and the Federal Reserve, it wasn't. to me as broad as in all cases the. Federal Reserve is fully immune from. Donald Trump meddling with the way he. can with these agencies. But you had a. 54 decision there of the Supreme Court. saying we think the Federal Reserve is. different than every other agency. 63. decision the Supreme Court says all. other agencies Trump can fire everybody. Humphrey's executive, that's the name of.

the case, overruled. Do whatever you. want or any president can do whatever. wants. But this the Federal Reserve is. different. Why? Because the Supreme. Court doesn't follow precedent. They're. not like logically consistent. They go. because it's just so important. If you. look at history, the Federal Reserve, it's like the original United States. central banks, and therefore, we view it. historically as separate from agencies. The reality is is that the Supreme Court.

and these right-wing justices don't care. about the consistency. They care about. their pocketbook. They know if they. ruled against Donald Trump on that case. that the markets would absolutely tank. massive. So they were looking after. their own bag. The same way to me their. ruling about Trump's tariffs against the. world with Donald Trump doing everything. again to destroy the economy was about. their own bag, their own market, their. own money. And that's why they were. doing that. So that's what the Supreme. Court ruled on those cases. And then.

there was the other ruling by the. Supreme Court where they did not hear. the lease where they did not hear the. Eene Carol case. So the Eene Carol. verdict stands against Donald Trump. he. can no longer appeal or say I'm. appealing. He's been found liable of. sexual assault and defamation. The that. period's run out. And then there was a 5. to4 decision on mail ballots um which. says that if you postmark your mail. ballot before the day of the election, even it's received after the election,

those votes can still be counted. That. was a five to four decision which Donald. Trump attacked. And so mixed bag. Obviously, the Humphrey's executive. being overturned is outrageous. Um. although to the extent there's a silver. lining. Um if a Democrat president comes. into office, they'll be able to point to. it and say, "Well, I'm doing it, too. That's the precedent." And you know, I. guarantee you you'll see all these MAGA. Project 2025. That's unfair. That's.

unfair. And that's So I could easily. predict that's what's going to happen. So that's all I got. Brett, anything you. want to say before we go? >> I'll say I'll say Yeah. I mean the it. cuts both ways these decisions right if. you're expanding power of the executive. branch that theoretically means anyone. who's the head of the executive branch. whether they're a Republican or. Democrat. So uh you know I think you. know Republicans may be celebrating now. they may not be as happy uh when a a. Democrat becomes president in the. future. Um now I thought the mail and. ballots decision was a was a huge.

decision. A lot of people were worried. about which direction that was going to. go to. I mean, what a novel concept. Uh, counting all the votes that come in uh. by election day, you know, or that are. done by election day. It's it's. ridiculous that that is even a 54. That. should be a, you know, a knockout. decision. Should be easy easy call right. there. And now when we wake up in the. morning, if you're listening to this on. the audio podcast, big day. uh the final. cases that are going to be uh decided by. the Supreme Court um should be the those. opinions should be coming out today.

including a biggie the uh decision on. birthright citizenship uh which a lot of. people are watching closely um we will. see what happens uh there I know a lot. of people are on edge about that I mean. they're coming straight for something. that is very clearly defined in the. constitution and then there is another. opinion coming out on uh it's a. transgender case a state ban on. transgender athletes from women's sports. and uh that decision should be coming on. Tuesday as well. So, more fun to come.
