🚨Judge UNLOADS on Trump in OPEN COURT…
A federal judge in Washington D.C. just. ordered a massive investigation into. whether the Trump DOJ repeatedly lied to. her when they said Donald Trump didn't. want to tear down and rip to shreds. everything that's on the East Potomac. Golf Course to turn it into a Trump Golf. Course right now while the American. people are suffering. During a hearing. that just took place, the same federal. judge also exposed that the Trump.
regime, they were spending potentially. $400 million or more of our taxpayer. dollars to destroy the East Potomac Golf. Course, to do something with the seawall. there and turn it into a Trump Golf. Course at the very same time the Trump. regime cut the budget of the Department. of Interior. This is where they're. spending our taxpayer dollars. I want to. show you what went down in court today,
which concluded with Federal Judge Ana. Reyes saying that she is now appointing. a special master to investigate whether. the DOJ and the Department of Interior. officials repeatedly lied to her in the. Golf Course case, which could result not. just in recommendations that these. lawyers lose their license, but this. could also result in potential criminal. referrals. And if you're saying, "Well, would this be something that could be. pursued under the current DOJ?" No, the.
statute of limitations would still run, and when there is a new DOJ to. potentially prosecute these DOJ. officials, and you can say, "Well, you. know, wouldn't Donald Trump just pardon. these DOJ lawyers and Department of. Interior officials and lawyers anyway?". Potentially. But if the judge does what. she's going to do, she can make it so. that these people could lose their bar. licenses and have no future careers in. the field of law. And then there could. also be potential other. violations that could be investigated.
too by future Democratic administration. So, let's take a look at what went down. over here. So, Judge Anna Reyes, by the. way, hat tip to Scott McFarland who. leads the Midas Touch Network Washington. D.C. Bureau. He was in the court today. reporting on everything that went down. I want to share it with you. It is very. compelling what took place. So, Judge. Anna Reyes, she called this hearing. after Donald Trump posted that on. November 15th, he's going to rip to. shreds and tear down the East Potomac.
Golf Course. He's going to be shutting. it down. for the foreseeable future. In a prior. hearing before Judge Reyes, the Trump. regime DOJ lawyers again repeated there. were no plans to do that, that that was. not going to happen. And so, Judge Reyes. at the prior hearing said, "So, I. shouldn't believe social media posts. that Donald Trump's been making?" And. they said, "No, those aren't real. Don't. believe those posts. There is no plan.". And then, as soon as that hearing. concluded, Trump then posted, "There's a.
plan. It's November 15th. I'm going to. take control of the golf course." So, she then called in all the lawyers. saying said, "Well, he just posted. again. There's a plan. He is going to. you know, there he you have not followed. the process if you wanted to go about. tearing down this golf course or. renovating the golf course. You're not. following the processes and procedures.". And so, that's what this hearing was. about today. So, she opened the court. hearing into Trump's takeover of the. East Potomac Golf Course despite the. court order freezing work on the park.
Team Trump says they will ignore her. order is what led to this hearing and. renovate the park beginning November. 15th. The judge demanded that the top Justice. Department officials enter and appear in. order to address these issues. She. wasted no time from the outset. She. began the hearing reading the rules that. prevent lawyers from misrepresenting. facts and positions to the court. For. days, the Justice Department said there. was no plan and close the East Potomac.
Park on November 15th. Then this week. they changed their story after Donald. Trump made another social media post. saying that he was going to take it over. on November 15th. The federal judge. asked the Justice Department lawyers, "Have you made any false statements of. material facts that you'd like to. correct?" The Justice Department lawyer. said, "Not to Not to my knowledge." To. which the federal judge says, "What does. that mean, not to your knowledge? Did. you make any misrepresentations or not?
What does it mean, not to my knowledge?". And then you have. Scott MacFarlane says, "The Justice. Department lawyer is employing a tactic. we've seen quite a bit during Trump 2.0. I'm new here. I don't really know much. about it." The lawyer says, "I'm new to. the case. I haven't read everything. about the case. We have a lots of. binders." To which the judge then calls. a Department of Interior official to. answer questions. She asked the. official, "Are there any statements of.
facts or misrepresentations. you want to clear up about this case? You previously represented that there. was no plan to take it over on November. 15th. Now Trump posted there is a plan. and you're saying there is a plan after. you've come into this court and saying. there isn't a plan." The Department of. Interior official then responds, "Not to. my knowledge." The judge again pushes. back on that answer. "What does that. mean, not to my knowledge? Is your. knowledge that you lied to me or is your. knowledge that you didn't lie to me? It.
is within your own knowledge. Tell me, are you a liar?" And she was screaming. at the Department of Intelligence the. Department of Interior official and the. Trump DOJ. The judge asked the. Department of Interior official if the. Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum is. involved in the East Potomac Park. project. The Department of Interior. official responds, "What What What do you mean, judge, by. involved?" The judge then gets a. dictionary out to read the definition of. the word involved. Do you need me to.
read the word involved to you? The judge. says at the Department of Interior. official. The Department of Interior. official then responds, "The Secretary. of Interior Doug Burgham, he he's aware. of the project but not involved in. everything." Judge Reyes says, "Yeah, but he had time to tour the golf. course." Judge says, "He doesn't have a. body double, does he? When did you. become aware of a plan to close the golf. course in November 15th? When did you. become aware?" The Department of.
Interior official says, "Um a plan?" A. a a plan? The judge says, "Do I need to. get the dictionary again to read you the. definition of the word plan? Do you not. know what the word plan means, sir?". Then the judge says, "Trump made a. social media post on October 18th and. said the golf course was closing on. November 15th. The next day, the DOJ. came in here. You swore up and down. there was no plan to close on November. 15th. Then days later, Trump made.
another post and then the DOJ said, 'There is a plan to close the golf. course on November 15th.' What the hell. is happening here?" Then whoa, the. Assistant Attorney General Stanley. Woodward tried to intervene and halt the. questioning of the Department of. official Department of Interior official. about the East Potomac golf course. "You. don't have to answer. You don't have to. answer." Then Judge Reyes pushes back. and says, "No, sit down. Sit the hell down right now. I'm asking.
the questions of this Department of. Interior official who said there were no. plans and now Donald Trump made a social. media post saying there is a plan and. now you're saying there is a plan after. you've ripped down all of those trees. and after you lied and said you weren't. going to do that. You know, this case. began just about a golf course and the. judge previously said, 'I'm actually. fine. You want to renovate the golf. course, you can renovate it but make. sure that you have the funds. appropriated by Congress, that you do it. legally and lawfully, that you follow.
the Administrative Procedures Act, that. you go through the necessary steps that. are required.' Then I'm not going to. step in your way and tell you how to. renovate or not renovate. I'm a judge. I. interpret what the law is, and there are. certain requirements that you have to. do. And if you go through the. requirements, you can renovate the golf. course. Has Congress appropriated money. for this? Are you following the steps to. get the approvals? Are you doing the. environmental studies before you just. rip down trees? Follow the freaking. process and you can do it. And you made. this more than just about a golf course.
case. You made it about all of these. lies and constantly lying and perjuring. yourself potentially in front of this. damn court. The judge was pissed. And. the judge said, "Sit down, attorney. Woodward, assistant attorney general. Woodward. I'm asking the questions." The. judge to Woodward, "It sounds like you. don't want him to answer a very. straightforward question about when did. he know and what did he know?" Okay, so. the judge then allows the Department of. Interior official to stand down for now.
for now. The judge then asked assistant. attorney general Woodward, uh "When was. there a plan to close the golf course on. November 15th? When was that plan?". Woodward, that's the Trump DOJ lawyer, hedges for a while. Then he says the. plan was noticed on October 28th. Woodward says that Trump's October 18th. social media post said the park should. be closed on November 15th. The judge. interjects, "No, he didn't say should.
be. He said it will be closed. We. shouldn't put words in the president's. mouth, counsel. He said it will be. closed. It's the president of the United. States saying that, damn it." The judge. to assistant attorney general said, "On. October 25th, the president posted that. the golf course will close as scheduled. on November 15th, right?" Assistant. attorney general Woodward does not. directly answer the question. The judge. says, "What's a past participle?".
Assistant attorney general says, "I have. no idea." Assistant attorney general. Stanley Woodward argued that Trump's. social media post on October 18th and. October 25th about the closure of the. golf course on November 15th wasn't. actually a plan to close the golf. course. Judge This is what the judge. then says, "You're telling me that even. now that there was no plan, you're the. third-ranking official at the Department. of Justice. You're saying you do not. believe the President of the United.
States who says there is a plan?" And. extended back and forth unfolds over. whether the President of the United. States social media posts are actually. plans or orders. The judge then says, "When the President of the United States. says the course will close, that doesn't. mean the course will close to you, counsel? What are you talking about?". The judge then asks Stanley Woodward. again about how Woodward interprets. Trump's social media posts announcing.
the golf course will close on November. 15th. Then Woodward says, "Uh. I can't answer that. That's executive. privilege. I'm not going to answer. that." Then the judge said, "How could. it be executive privilege? He posted it. He made the post publicly and he says. it's closing." Woodward says, "What the. President meant in his social media post. is core executive privilege." The judge, sounding exasperated, says, "What are. you talking executive privilege when he. makes a post? And what what are you even.
saying, counsel?" Woodward says, "We're. not on TV. I I'm not a pundit opining on. the President's words. It would be. improper of me to explain my. interpretation of the President's. action." The judge said, "That's quite. an extraordinary view of executive. privilege." After a brief huddle, Assistant Attorney General Woodward. regathers and tells the judge, "The. course is not currently scheduled to. close on November 15th. There's just a. notice of an intent to close. A notice.
of an intent to do a deal. Then uh we would never violate the. court's orders, okay? It's just a notice. of intent. That's what it really is." Is. what they says. Assistant Attorney General Stanley. Woodward then says, "It's not different. from the president issuing an executive. order. Just because the executive order. is issued doesn't mean the action is. over as ever carried out." Woodward. notes how Trump issued a failed. executive order on birthright.
citizenship. The judge asked. specifically, "When was the first act to. close the golf course taken?" Woodward, the DOJ lawyer, doesn't know. "Probably. not until October 26th." Woodward said. he'll check. Woodward mentions how the. tree removal at the park was part of the. plan for closure of the course. The. judge says, "Whoa, the removal of the. trees was part of the plan to close the. course?" Woodward, "That's not what I. meant." Do you all understand the.
importance of that? Woodward's saying. the tree removal at the park was part of. a plan to close the course. So, that. would have meant that this plan to close. the course was violated well before. Donald Trump issued the social media. post. And in other words, Woodward just. again admitted that what he was doing. was absolutely inappropriate. The Trump. administration officials are then. arguing that they need to replace a. seawall at East Potomac Park. The judge.
says, "What's the safety issue?". Assistant Attorney General won't answer. He questions why the judge is engaging. in this line of inquiry. Court filings. indicate erosion issues, but the judge. wants to know if people are unsafe. because of it. The Trump regime lawyer. won't answer. Then the Justice. Department says the cost of a new. seawall at East Potomac Park will cost. between $150 million. and $400 million. The judge says, "Who appropriated money.
for that? $400 million of taxpayer money. is going into just the seawall repairs? What are we even doing here?" The. Justice Department says, "No one. appropriated it. No one did. The Justice. says there are pockets of money that can. be used for such projects including the. seawall. The judge notes how the. administration has cut funds to the. Department of Interior. So, you cut the. budget of the Department of Interior and. now you're spending it on this golf. course, $400 million dollars. Who's.
covering this? Where's this money coming. from? Judge Anna Reyes calls a 20-minute. recess, then the people come back in and. as Scott McFarland says, "Look, the. politics of this are irrelevant. Trump. it the politics of this are very. relevant. Trump is poised to spend half. a billion dollars on the restoration at. a golf course on the eve of an election. about affordability. So, then the judge. asks the Justice Department for an. estimate of the entire price of the golf. course renovation. The Trump regime.
attorney then says, "There is no. estimate. Why would you assume there is. an estimate?" Then the judge says, "Well, if we're going to use taxpayer. money, I assumed we would have some idea. of what it cost, that there would be an. estimate. If you're talking about intent. to notice of an intent for a plan or a. plan, you have no clue what this cost. You just said $400 million dollars. Is. it a billion dollars? Is it two billion. dollars? How do I not know that there's. like money laundering taking place? What. the hell is happening? Tell me, what the.
hell is this going to cost?" the judge. says. And then the Trump attorney says, "That's deliberative process. I can't. tell you." And then the judge says, "Does the Department of Interior not. want the American people to know how. much this will cost?" So, the judge. says, "We're going to take a break and. we're going to come back and I want to. know what the hell is really happening. here." And Scott McFarland says, "Look, this has been a mess. The judge is. getting the runaround. Politically, the. administration we now know is poised to.
spend an undetermined amount of money, hundreds of millions of dollars to. renovate this public golf course in DC. to suit the president's wants. Judge. Reyes says, "I'm going to ensure there. is a preservation order because I want. to investigate what is happening. I want. to investigate you." referring to the. lawyers who are here. I want to. investigate you, referring to the. Department of Interior officials. Preserve all your emails, preserve all. the documents. This court is launching. an inquiry into your lies to this court. right now, and I reserve the right to.
put the full force and effect of the law. when I find out what the hell really. happened right here. Judge Reyes then. said she'll launch a formal inquiry into. the Trump administration attorneys. conduct in the East Potomac. I'm. launching an inquiry into you, the lies. to this court. As I've said, this case. began about a golf course, but now it's. about all of your damn lies to this. court, so Trump can have this vanity. project and build a freaking golf. course. What the hell is going on there? Judge Reyes said she's going to probe.
whether the Trump regime attorneys. counseled a Park Service official to. exclude details in an October 9th. declaration, or made a misrepresentation. about plans to renovate the golf course. effective November 15th.
