🚨Judge INSTANTLY DROPS HAMMER on Trump
A federal judge is instantly striking. back after Donald Trump attacked her in. some deranged social media post late at. night. Donald Trump posted this, I don't. even know what you even call it on his. social media platform saying, "Judge. asks for notification as public golf. course project is built in Washington DC. Department of the Interior to appeal. this unconstitutional request." And then. Trump writes, "We're closing the East. PTOAC golf course site as scheduled on.
November 15th in order to renovate and. rebuild for competitive with other such. projects, safety, modernization, and. aesthetic reasons." And then Trump says. there are narrow fairways leading to a. constant barrage of people being hit. with wayward shots. and he says, "This. judge has absolutely no right to hold up. this very important and beautiful. project. So, we're going to ask the DC.
circuit court for an immediate remedy.". And he says, "In the meantime, basically, we're destroying the East. PTOAC golf course. We don't care what. the judge did." Well, the judge issued. an order in joining blocking the Trump. regime from taking over and destroying. the East PTOAC golf course until you go. through the process and procedure that. it gets the approvals as required by. law, the Administrative Procedures Act, that you follow the process. If you want. to do it, you actually can do it. The.
judge started off this case many months. ago by saying, "I'm not a golf. architect, okay? And I am not going to. step in the way of the Trump regime. She. says the Trump administration doing. work, doing designs, just go through the. process. There is an administrative. procedures act. And the judge said when. the case started and she actually. praised the Trump lawyers at the very. beginning of the case, which she points. out over and over again, look, your. briefs are good so far. Just go through.
the process and I'll be okay with it. And what did they do? not go through the. process. They just started ripping down. trees a few weeks back right before the. holidays were taking place and you got. rid of the mature oaks and the maples. And then the plaintiff's lawyers were. like, "Judge, we warned you about this.". [clears throat] And the judge was like, "Well, I they gave me their word that. they were not going to do it. I mean, it's on the record that we agreed to. this. So, why did Trump do it?" And the. DOJ lawyers were like, "Uh, I don't.
know. We we don't know what he's doing. We just do whatever." And then the judge. said, "So, he's been making social media. posts that say he's going to um you. know, on November 15th, he's going to do. further destruction. Is that going to. happen?" And the DOJ lawyers were like, "Uh, no, we don't think so. That's just. his posts. He just posts things." So, the federal judge is like, "So, you're. telling me that when the president of. the United States posts messages, I.
shouldn't believe it? That the president. is a liar?" And then the DOJ was like, "Well, if you're talking about the. literalistic meaning of word words, the. judge's like, "What do you mean the. literalistic meaning of words?" I'm. talking about words. What are you. saying? I don't even know what you even. mean by that. Is the president lying or. is the president telling the truth? Um. um we don't know. Okay. Well, you don't. know. You're telling me that he's not. going to do it on November 15th? So, I'm. issuing an injunction. So, the judge. issued an injunction because she got. that weird word salad about literalistic. meaning of words. Then that night,
Donald Trump posts that message and. says, "I'm ripping it to shreds on. November 15th." So what did the federal. judge do the next morning? She issued. this order right away. Minute order. The. court takes judicial notice of the. president of the United States's truth. social post at 11:37 p.m. on October 26, stating, "We are closing the East PTOAC. golf course site as scheduled on. November 15th in order to renovate and. rebuild for competitive with other such.
projects, safety, modernization, and. aesthetic reasons." So, the judge says, "Associate Attorney General Stanley. Woodward told the court on October 19th. that with regard to the November 15th. date, there are no plans to close the. court. The court therefore orders. defendants to clarify as part of their. response to the court's show cause order. from October 26th whether any plan. exists to close East PTOAC golf course. on or around November 15, 2026, and if.
so, how that can be reconciled with the. associate attorney general Woodward's. representation to the court. The. deadline to file the response is now. extended to 300 p.m. on October 28th, 2026. The court will set a status. hearing for Friday, October 30th, 2026. or Monday, November 2nd, 2026. Associate. AG Woodward is ordered to appear at the. hearing. The parties are ordered to. reach out to the courtroom deputy um. with information. Let me bring in Harry.
Litman from the Talking Beds YouTube. channel, Substack, and Podcast. Harry, it's so great to see you. But, you know, look, at this hearing, the judge asked. the lawyers, asked the DOJ, "So, is. November 15th the real date?" And they. looked at and she and she goes, "Don't. lie. You've lied to me about the trees. You've lied to me about this. October. 15th. Is it a real date?" They go, "No, we don't believe he has anything. planned. We don't believe." And the. judge's like, "I don't believe you. anymore." Okay. So, I'm going to have to. issue this order. Boom. What does Donald.
Trump do? Proves that those lawyers were. once again lying in front of her. And as. she starts off and says, she goes, she. goes, "Look, this case began about golf, but it then became about the president. of the United States and DOJ lawyers. lying about everything, and that's what. we got here. Make this make sense, Harry. What do you make of it all?". That's a tall order, but it's completely. extraordinary. You know, we've seen. increasingly courts call out uh DOJ for.
saying things that don't maybe hold. water and they'll have opinions that, you know, um peppered within the overall. comments or two or three kind of swipes. This, I think, is the most scathing. order and in all of Trump 2.0, 0 which. is which therefore means probably in the. history of the federal courts and. department of justice. The first like. eight pages are just the recitations of.
the complete contradiction between what. they're saying and what Donald Trump who. under the law that he's passed what he. says goes is telling the American people. and telling them in all caps with. exclamation points. So you have these. lawyers in front of her. is I it's uh I. this is a case where I've never seen. before that the department of justice is. telling me don't believe the president. of the United States and is saying it. again and again and again now for legal.
reasons and this happens all the time. right the politicians make some decision. and then the sometimes hapless lawyers. have to go in front of the court and uh. either pretend or cross their fingers or. make the most of a bad record. Uh but. they are they're going there and trying. to say um we haven't made a decision. yet. That's what Woodward and others. were saying. Notwithstanding what Trump. uh is saying. And that's because Ben,
they want to make the old argument that. you can't do anything yet court. It's. not yet ripe. And she just came out of. the box and said, "I don't believe you. I This is what the president says. This. is you guys. I don't believe you." And. it is to the plaintiffs to prove to they. have the uh kind of burden of proof to. show that they're uh that it's final and. they're going forward. And based mainly. on the disconnect between what the DOJ.
lawyers were telling her and this she. holds for the plaintiffs and then it. goes on and on. You know, it's a long. thorough methodical opinion which we. could have seen coming after the hearing. in which she she had given them all. kinds of rope. She hadn't done the. injunction. She little by little let. them get away get away and then finally. uh they lied to her basically in court. She pronounced herself furious and then. and only then did she do the temp the.
restraining order that's now ripened to. a temporary uh injunction. that's going. to go up to the DC circuit and unless. you know we we've seen some very funky. things at the DC circuit level, but you. got to imagine it is a part of the kind. of judicial role to to back her up. because she had such brazen. misrepresentations and again by the. executive branch. And then at the end. she [clears throat] goes the end is.
another like eight pages of here the. department tries to say at the end you. know you had these nasty comments by. Trump also Steven Miller how dare they. tell us what we can uh build on our golf. course and and they try to say it's a. steep separation of powers issue and I. don't think so the as you say the. Congress has posed all these. requirements environmental requires. irements. It's straightforward to say. the executive has to comply with them.
And the final eight pages of this. opinion are like King George and the. founders and really back to basics. And. she just says uh separation of powers is. not a mantra that you can just have an. incantation. by the executive branch and that means. they they can't uh have any legal uh. restrictions. That's not the way it. works. They've tried to say it here with. nothing to back them up. Uh and um they.
are they are um you know completely. bankrupt. Now there is one point that we. have to um think about all the kinds of. uh opinions that the Supreme Court has. done uh involving you know expansion of. executive power but that's not for Judge. Reyes to administer. She's applying the. law. But I just want to say to Fed Heads. and u the Midas mighty, the the first.
like eight full pages, last eight full. pages are the opinion of a judge who has. had it to hear and isn't going to take. it anymore and just completely. evviscerates. the Department of Justice, the. government, who you would never have. imagined an opinion like this two years. ago. And now it's just like how low can. you go? She treats them like you would. treat the lowest bargain uh d you know. bottom feeder mob lawyers or whatever.
Just completely. embarrassing and shameful if there were. embarrassment and shame in the. Department of Justice and Stanley. Woodward. But completely excruiating. >> You know the judge. I think knew what was going to happen. when the case started. So she went out. of her way to be extra differential to. the executive branch. All right, executive branch, I want to be clear.
from the outset. You will be able to. build your golf course. I will not. interfere. I will not be the architect. However, there's a Congress and here are. the steps you need to take under the. process that Congress set forth. It may. be a little longer than you like, but. we're not talking about years. We may be. talking like 6 to9 months and then. you'll be able to implement it as long.
as it passes this approval, that. approval, the other approval. We have to. make sure that there's environmental. checks. Look, there are these mature. oaks and maples, and that may not mean. anything to you, but you know, if you've. lived in an area that has oaks and. maples and cherry blossoms, they are. part of life and you don't just destroy. them. And in your community, if you've. seen these, if they're at parks, you. know, often where there is a decision to.
tear down an oak or a maple or a cherry. blossom, it's actually not an easy. decision for people who care about. living things that are around you. And. you have to come up with a plan. sometimes. Okay, we're going to destroy. these things, but we're going to. replant, and here's how we're going to. do it over you. You come up with plans. of how you deal with it because that's. our environment. We live on an earth, you know, you don't just get to. you don't just get to do things. And. those are the rules you have to play by. And this has been Trump's whole life,
though. This is how he's done this. project and that project. And people. have codled him. It's why he derangely. lives in a club that he claims is a. business to avoid paying taxes on what. it would be if it was a residential. property, but then boasts about its. value as a residential property to take. out loans against it, but takes. advantage of it being a club in order to. say that it's not a lot of money for. paying property taxes. I mean, this is a.
real scumbag human who's lived in this. murky, not m just just corrupt gross. thing and people have always been like, "H, I don't want to deal with it, you. know, whatever." is just so obnoxious. and so gross that uh but then like a. tumble weed it just picks up and picks. up and picks up and picks up and before. you know it the tumble weed has become. the freaking Washington DC and the. tumble weed is now rolling over not just. the country but planet earth and we're.
seeing that take place at large as the. tumble weed destroys the American. architecture post World War II. Sorry I. took it there, Harold, but that's. [laughter] no but that's why the judge. says. >> this is more than about golf. Okay, this. is more than about the golf. >> 100%. And let me just uh underscore they. went up to so they they race in total. Trump style just like he did with the. east wing, just like he did with the. arch. I don't care about the law. It.
doesn't apply to me. I'll start uh. building and wait for somebody to. complain. In this case, I'll chop down. trees. And when that happened, they had. the brazeness to go before the court and. say, "Oh, this not because of what Trump. said." At the simultaneously, is he. saying, "This is what we're doing. We're. going to make a beautiful golf course. This was always in place since 2019.". And and you know, just a renovation we. were always going to do. And you know, Rey says, "How stupid do you take me.
for?" And that's also why you did it. lickety split over the weekend. I mean, they just handed her a deeply incredible. yarn. And this, you know, it's so. humiliating to me as a former DOJ member. and and and as you mentioned, Stanley. Woodward, third ranking member in the. department, stands up and and high. people at the Department of Interior and. just um uh you know, propounds this. total uh yarn that's you know,
incredible on its uh face and of course. is completely the opposite of what the. president of the United States is. saying. So, it it was, you know, really. like, you got to be kidding me. And they. said, "Oh, no, we're not." And okay, uh. here's the injunction. And now, as we. know, they can appeal it. So, you know, we'll see what happens. But man oh man, if a judge is ever justified in bringing. down the hammer, uh when the executive.
branch stands up and basically is. two-faced and tells her, "Oh, don't. worry about the what the president is. saying, it's the time that uh you got to. back her up.". >> Everybody subscribe to Harry Litman's.
