Canada PREPARED TO DEFEND in ALL OUT WAR with Trump!!!
Canada will never back down, Donald, and. Canada is prepared to defend every. [snorts] inch of its territory from your. authoritarian, repressive, and predatory. regime. As we are learning more about. how earlier in this Trump regime, Donald. Trump threatened that he would not. recognize the Canadian border and. discussed invading Canada. We learned. how the Canadian government, then under. Trudeau, stood up against Donald Trump. and that press conference that took.
place where former Prime Minister. Trudeau then responded by threatening to. impose massive tariffs against the Trump. regime in retaliation to watch as Donald. Trump and the Trump regime were stunned. and whiny and backed down, and how. Canada was inspired to stand up. And. then linking that with the latest NATO. summit and how Donald Trump once again. is saying, "Well, I want Greenland. I. want Greenland." It just reminds. everybody, Canadians, other members of.
NATO, the rest of the world, that this. predatory Trump regime is not just going. to go away. They may just take their eye. off it for a little bit, back down, and. start to whine, but their predatory, authoritarian ambitions to destroy. the world is not going to end. You know, former Member of Parliament Charlie. Angus just gave an incredible, had an. incredible discussion about this that I.
want to share with you where he recounts. what went down when Donald Trump refused. to acknowledge the Canadian border and. the implications that war. between Canada and the United States was. imminent. That's how it was viewed in. Canada, and Canada was preparing for. war, and still, frankly, should be. prepared and is prepared. And I when I. say were to defend itself from the. authoritarian regime, in defense of. Canada. And then former member of. Parliament Charlie Angus, who also leads.
Midas Canada, he then discusses how. Donald Trump's behavior in NATO shows. that Donald Trump's going to keep on. doing this. And this is where the world. needs to come together, democracies need. to come together to stand up to this. despicable Trump regime. And that. despicable ambassador they have, Hoestra, over there in Canada, um the United States ambassador to. Canada. Here's what Charlie Angus said. Let's play this clip. >> So, the threat to our border, to our sovereignty,
to our nationhood is as serious as it. can get. We're learning more now about. the phone conversation between Donald. Trump and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, where Donald Trump made the explicit. threat against our border. A threat that. would create a destabilized situation. where the United States could use any. provocation to attack us. And the only. reason they backed off is because Canada. stood up and said we would punch them. with everything we had. But the threat.
has not gone away. Just ask the people of Greenland and. Denmark. So, what we're seeing with NATO this. week is Donald Trump doesn't back down. from his threats. He steps back for a. while, but the threat against democracy, the threat against sovereignty, the. threat to our nationhood remains, and we. have to remain vigilant. >> Now, more from Charlie Angus right here. I want to share with you as he describes. what went down as Trump was like, "We're. not going to even acknowledge the.
Canadian border." And how that brought. Canada to be on the brink of war against. the Trump regime. Play this clip. >> An unprecedented phone call. It happened. as Donald Trump issued 25%. across-the-board unilateral tariffs. against Canada, where Donald Trump was. talking out loud about being able to. simply move the border if he wanted. Where Donald Trump was talking about. breaking our nation, ridiculing our. prime minister, saying he was going to. make us the 51st state. And when Prime.
Minister Trudeau phoned him to try and. talk through this and to remind Donald. Trump of Canada's long-standing. friendship and loyalty and how important. the billions of dollars of trade are. with the United States on for both sides. and for workers in both countries, Donald Trump announced. that he was going to walk away from the. 1908 Boundary Convention. So, that was. the convention that finally settled all. the issues of the 9,000 km undefended.
border. By making that threat, Donald Trump was saying he was going to. plunge North America into a dangerously. destabilized situation. By walking away. on the recognition of our sovereignty, Donald Trump was creating. a moment for provocation to target us in. any way he wanted. Now, technically. Canada could say, "Well, we still had.
the 1818 convention on the border and. the 1846 convention." But, it wouldn't. matter. What would happen is if the United. States walked away, they could say, "We. don't recognize the border and we will. defend our interests." And this was at a. time of growing provocation against. Canada. When we were hearing it all in. the news at the time, it just seemed so. bizarre and crazy. You had Kristi Noem. Yeah, Kristi Noem, that Kristi Noem of. NovaGold Mining, who was saying that the. real threat to the United States wasn't.
the southern border, it was the northern. border. Yeah, the Canadian border, that. we represented a threat of criminality. and menace against the American people. Where you had Cash Patel. Yeah, Cash. Patel, was he sober or not, the head of. the FBI, saying that terrorists were. coming over the Canadian border. What. Donald Trump was describing Canada is. this giant fentanyl lab killing. Americans as though we were a narco. state. We couldn't understand it cuz it. seemed so crazy, but what they were. doing where they were setting the. excuses for provocation to be able to go.
after a narco state, to be able to cross. the border, to go after their supposed. terrorist threats. This was a situation that was getting. more and more dangerous, and so when. Donald Trump put that threat on the. table, he was saying, "If we don't. recognize the border, we can do what the. hell we want." And it would have plunged. Canada and the United States into a. situation of war. >> Here he talks about standing up to the. Trump regime. Let's play it.
>> But then something happened. that the White House didn't expect. Canada stood up. Do you remember that March 4th, 2025. press conference in Ottawa with Prime. Minister Trudeau, Dominic LeBlanc, and. Mélanie Joly? When they came out for the press. conference, you could see that they were. rattled. You could see that something. had gone down. Uh and I think of all the moments in. Prime Minister Trudeau's career, and.
people can say whatever they want about. him, but this was the finest moment. Prime Minister Trudeau stood up. He said. to the Canadian people that Donald Trump. was trying to create, {quote} a total. collapse of the Canadian economy to make. it easier to annex us. He spoke truthfully to us about the. nature of the threat. And then he pointed out that Donald. Trump has shown such hatred towards. Canada, and yet was willing to support.
time and time again, {quote} a lying, murderous dictator in the form of. Vladimir Putin. These were blunt words. And then Prime Minister Trudeau. announced that Canada was going to. impose 155. billion dollars in counter tariffs. against the United States. This was. unprecedented. [clears throat]. Donald Trump when he threatened other. countries, they buckled, they bent, they. signed whatever terrible agreement. Donald Trump put in front of them. But what Donald Trump was putting in. front of us was the end of our.
nationhood. And so when Prime Minister. Trudeau said that he was going to impose. 155 billion dollars worth of tariffs, he. reminded the Canadian people that this. was going to plunge the North American. economy into chaos. And he talked. directly to American workers and said, "You are going to suffer. Like if our. workers suffer, you're going to suffer.". It was a very, very unprecedented move. But I was really struck by what the. Prime Minister said to Canadians after. telling us of the immense sacrifice that.
we were going to pay if we took that. route. He said, "When it comes to. defending our great nation, there is no price we aren't willing to. pay.". And that rallied Canadians. Damn right. We would walk through anything to defend. our country. And it rallied Canada. The. boycott became so impassioned at that. point. We understood that this was an. existential threat to our nation and we. would do whatever it took to defend our. border. And then what happened?
Trump talked out. They didn't expect us to stand up. But. did they go away? Did they settle down? Did they decide, "Okay, this is not a. good way to negotiate. Let's let's get. back to the table." Uh-uh. They turned on us with the whiny. bitterness of bullies who've been. punched in the nose. Donald Trump. started saying that we were the nastiest. people he had ever dealt with. Yeah, the. nastiest. Pete Hoekstra, his gaslighting. ambassador, called us nasty. Howard. Lutnick said, "Canada, you suck." Pete.
Navarro attacked us. They were enraged. that we stood up to them. But what it shows also is that when you. think of them refusing to open the. Gordie Howe Bridge, when they refused to. negotiate on Kuzma, when they continue. to gaslight and threaten us, it's. because they haven't changed their view. that they have the right to arbitrarily. move that border or do whatever the hell. they want with us. But and what's. stopping them is that we're standing up. to them. And that's why they hate us.
>> And then he talks about the NATO summit. that just took place. Watch Charlie. Angus. Charlie's the best, isn't he? Here him play this clip. >> So let's consider what happened this. week at NATO. Donald Trump went to NATO. Did anyone. think he was going to do anything other. than try and undermine the alliance? Well, that's exactly what he did. And he. targeted Greenland and Denmark. He issued lie after lie about Greenland. saying that it was surrounded by Chinese. and Russian ships. He said that the. Danish people did nothing for Greenland,
that Greenland really belonged to the. United States. And he issued a threat. He threatened to pull American troops. out of Europe unless the NATO allies, the European countries, allowed him. to just steal Greenland without any. democratic rights of the people being. recognized. And that's not going to happen. So what. Donald Trump has done is once again. undermined the Western allies, undermined international security, and. at the same time.
he's relaunched his disastrous war in. the Strait of Hormuz. He's got no plan. for it. He's burning the world economy. because he can. And we remember the. threats against Greenland came after his. threats and attack on Venezuela, the. fact that he is. threatening Cuba, the fact that he is. undermining elections all over the. Americas and in Europe. He remains a major threat, my friends, and he remains a major threat to Canada, and we can't ignore this. But I want to.
end on something that came out this. week. There was a new poll that came out. from the Alliance of Democracy. So, this. is a very serious international. organization backed by. NGOs and democratic think tanks around. the world. And they do annual polling of. the views of democratic nations. And. what they found now is that the majority. of democratic people believe the. greatest threat to peace and security in. the world right now is the United. States.
That's the world Donald Trump is. creating for the United States. And you. know, it doesn't matter what happens. If. Donald Trump's gone, if J.D. Vance steps. in, as long as the United States. political, military, media, business communities willing to. go along with this, we see the. deterioration and the increasing. isolation of the United States and the. the massive realignment of global. forces of other countries realize they.
can no longer trust the United States. They've got to get the hell out from. under this threat and find alternatives. This is what the Prime Minister's vision. at Davos has been. This is why we see us. signing up agreements with multiple. other countries to get out from under. the US threat. But this. poll done by the Alliance of the. Democracies had another really. fascinating feature. It says that more. and more countries are looking to China. as a stable partner. So, imagine that.
that Donald Trump's antics and threats. to make America great again and his. claims that he could just walk across. the Canadian border whenever he felt. uh what it's done is it's secured. the place of China as the dominant world. power. Wow, Donald. You've done a great job for. the American people. But you know, as. long as the American political. establishment goes along with you, they. are as responsible as you for this. chaotic situation. So, what does it mean. for Canada? It means we cannot trust the.
United States. It means we cannot go. along and hope that if we give up this. or that in trade negotiations, we're. going to get peace. They don't want peace. They want our. country and they want us as a as a. vassal nation. And as long as we stand. up and remain true north strong and. free, we freak them out and they are. thinking twice about crossing that. border and we have to maintain that. posture. We can never ever let them. think they can just come at us and that. we will give up. We will fight, fight, fight. Sorry, Donald. It makes a lot.
more sense when Canadians say it than. when a loser and convicted criminal like. you says it. So, my friends, that's where we're at right now. >> There you have it, folks.
