🚨Canada PM JUST BROUGHT IT HOME…
Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada did. it again. He gave one of the most. incredible speeches just now at a pub in. Red Deer County, Alberta. For those in. the United States who want to know where. Red Deer County is, it's between Calgary. and Edmonton. And so here's what went. down on Monday. There is a secession. referendum on the ballot in Alberta to. secede from Canada. Now, overwhelmingly,
it seems like it's going to fail, but. Prime Minister Carney is not taking. anything for granted. By the way, Prime. Minister Carney is from Alberta, so he's. been campaigning very hard for. pro-unityity in Canada. Now, at this pub. right here, the Red Heart Brewing Pub in. Red Deer, he was actually joined by lots. of local leaders within Red Deer, within.
Alberta, past leaders in Canadian. government, and also he was joined by. the premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith, which is a big deal because she is. conservative party. She is considered. maple MAGA, but Prime Minister Carney. was able to basically bring her there to. have her show that she was pro- unity. And while they disagree on a lot of.
things and very strongly would be an. understatement. And for all the Maple. Midas out there, you know that she's a. maple maga. But Prime Minister Carney. was able to get her there, include her. in this event and it was a really. special event. Now, when the event began. and Prime Minister Carney entered into. the pub, everybody at the pub started. singing, "Oh, Canada." And when I.
watched this the first time, it. literally brought tears to my eyes. I. had to wait five minutes before. recording this video because I was. literally crying with pride at Canada. and Canada unity right now and how. Canada stands together and the hope it. brings me as an American frankly about. what I want the future to be like and. how I want to restore that friendship.
that partnership and I know one day it. will be there and also I was refct. reflecting as I heard the crowd at the. pub break out as Carney was there into O. Canada reflecting on my journey with all. of you with the Maple Midas and what a. privilege it has been to be. shoulderto-shoulder with you every step. of the way. It's been one of the biggest. honors of my life to work with you and.
to fight with you and to build these. relationships and to build out Midas. Canada and to see the great work that. Charlie Angus is doing. I know you're. saying, "All right, Ben, we get it. We. get it. Stop being so much just play the. video. Play the video." All right. Here. they are at the pub. Canada breaks out. as Prime Minister Carney arrives at the. Pro- Unity event in Red Deer while you. have the Conservative premier Daniel. Smith right there as well. Play this. clip. [cheering].
[applause]. [screaming]. [singing]. must command [singing]. with holy hearts we see. the true north strong and free. from far and wide oh.
we stand on our for thee. [singing]. our landord. Glorious [chanting]. and free. [singing]. we stand on God for thee. [singing]. Oh.
we stand on God [singing]. for thee. [cheering]. Wow. Absolutely fantastic. Okay, I'm the. master of ceremonies. I got to warm up for the premier. Uh, what an amazing crowd. Now watch how. Prime Minister Carney talks about. Premier Smith and how he includes her in.
this and how he shows this sense of. humility and grace which is in such. contrast to Donald Trump, right? Could. you imagine? I mean, while Donald Trump. was giving a speech today in Georgia. mocking Dr. Abdul Elsed's name and he. was out there calling Senator Assaf. Peewee Herman and all the weird and. hateful stuff. I see Prime Minister. Carney as the leader of the free world. and just how he commands a room is.
something to behold. Here, play this. clip. Premier Smith, the importance of and this is not an. oxymoron what I'm about to say. Tough. collaboration. tough collaboration. In. our time working together, the premier. has consistently put the most difficult. issues on the table with the intention. of finding a common way forward. Okay, common way forward. And one of the other. lessons I take from that, it's a lessons.
for for all of us is when we try to do. more, we can do more. When we take more. issues on at the same time, when we're. open and honest with each other about. the challenges and the solutions there, the challenges, then we can find the. solutions. Now, second, that was one. point. My second point, I would seem. like more. Um, my second point is we're. here in both the best and worst of times. to borrow from Dickens. The worst of. times in the sense of the world, not in. Canada, but in the world. Uh, it's more.
dangerous and divided. We have real. threats to our sovereignty. that come both physically, and those are. growing over time, but also virtually. Uh, and we know what those are. uh and. we have to stand up and beat them. Now, the best of times, this is a moment of. unprecedented. opportunity in a province that has seen. so many opportunities over time. And you. think of just some of the things that. have happened this year in part because. of picking up on the lessons of all.
these great individuals and many more. We've expanded our trade footprint. around the world. The premier's been. going around the world. We've been. working around the world. the. consequence of that, you know, we're in uh we're in Red Deer. County. Um the canola heartbed, uh if. you will, uh our exports are up 80% by. value year. Our beef exports are up by. value, 80%. Uh you know, some of that's. price, but it's a lot of it's market uh. market access, and we're just getting.
started. We're the most connected. country in the world. Uh we intend to. double those connections over the course. of the next year. That's first thing. Um, Pacific Link pipeline would not be. possible without trying to do more at. the same time. Uh, working with. indigenous uh, Canadians, working with. British Columbia, working across all. forms of energy, something the premier. put on the table and we were able to. strike an agreement on that makes that. opportunity that will yield more than. 140,000 jobs uh, and a more independent.
uh, country, prosperous country. That. makes that possible. uh starting to work. on highspeed rail, working on. infrastructure uh investments for the. 25,000 plus affordable house houses that. the the province is going to build, right? Um unprecedented investments in. defense, $8 [snorts] billion plus the investments. uh in defense here in Alberta. All. possible uh because we're working. together. Yeah. >> Then Prime Minister Carney over here.
delivers more of the speech and he says, you know, one of the biggest things that. we have here, one of the most important. factors that we have here is trust. It's. the trust. Here, let's play this clip. >> We're working together. Now, the big. thing, one of the big things why Canada. has these possibilities is because we. have the most valuable commodity in the. world, which is trust. We are trusted. We are a trusted, reliable partner. You. and everyone you represent doing that.
[applause]. And I want to acknowledge I want to. acknowledge uh that there have been. times within the federation where uh. that trust has been put to a test and I. recognize that it's been put to a test. in my lifetime when I was growing up. Uh. premier, well, we'd all remember uh we. as Albertans were made to feel that. sometimes our resources weren't our own. Um we were later felt made to feel that. we were developing those resources was.
against the tides uh of history. Something that should have brought us. together, united us uh became something. that divided us. Now we're we're turning. that around. But I I'm using these are. these were given to me. Uh they're more. than a prop. They're a symbol. Um. the threads that linked us as a country, some of them prayed uh because of that. and that you know what we're facing on. Monday is is part of reflection of that. These mitsu uh were given to me. The.
yarn is from New Brunswick. The design. says Canada very proudly is from an. Ontario designer. And the woman who made. them, you guessed it, is from right. here, Red Dear from Alberta. We as a. country are we are cooperating again. Canada is working again. We are coming. together. were taking advantage of all. of what we had and you know what we have. in the end and I'm almost finished um. Canada. the almost was [laughter].
you've been stuck in this position. before you [laughter]. that's cuz we make so many good. announcements together that's why um. here. >> yeah you know Canada is not a. transaction between provinces. uh it is it's not about gross and net uh. gives and gets. Yes, you know, there's. some of those elements we work on in. specific projects, but it's about so. much more. It's about standing up for.
ourselves. and it's about taking care of each. other. And that's what is. fundamentally true about living on the. fairies, fundamentally true about being. Albertan, fundamentally true about being. Canadian. We are the greatest country in. the world. On Monday, if you haven't. already voted, yes, if you haven't. already, [applause] get out March, [cheering] get out, stand up for Canada, and then let's do together because we as. a country, last point, are just getting.
started. [cheering]. >> Now, I reflect on last night's speech. that Prime Minister Carney gave in. Calgary. Remember I shared that with you. earlier where the crowd absolutely. erupted when Carney said the Pacific. link pipeline will reduce Canada's. dependence on the United States. Then. when the crowd erupted Carney said. careful careful they may think in the.
United States that those applause are. election interference. Got to be careful down very very. sensitive down there. Here play this. clip. including with the Pacific Link. pipeline. Yeah, it will add it will create more than. 140,000 jobs. It will reduce. our dependent on the dependence on the. United States.
[cheering]. Oh. Oh. Oh. Careful. [cheering]. Careful. They might. [screaming]. [cheering]. reduce. >> Careful. They might think that's. election interference.
[cheering]. Just saying they're a little touchy down. there, everyone. We're not. We're getting on with it. We. are getting on with it. We are getting. on with it. [cheering]. And he was also referring there to that. vile piece of trash US ambassador to. Canada, Pete Hora, the absolute scumbag. loser over there who's just been a. complete and utter humiliation. Piece of. trash. That's how I think that Hogster.
This is what Hoax said. Oh, Canada's. involved in election interference. regarding our midterms because they. don't want to do a trade deal with me. Isn't Hoaxra remember the Austin Powers? Isn't this guy Dr. Evil? This guy's a. parody of Dr. Evil. Here, play this. clip. We are closely watching Canadian. activities because it it appears that uh. some of this from our perspective uh and. the way that we view our elections uh. could be inferred to be uh election.
interference. We appreciate foreign. policy leaders coming into the United. States uh and those types of things, but. you know, keep your nose out of American. politics uh you know, four weeks before. an election. We're monitoring it. uh. we're evaluating it and if some of it. becomes. uh election interference uh you know. then America will uh will respond to it. I want to show you the beginning though. of Prime Minister Carney's speech at. that pub um in Red Deer as he looks.
around the room and he gives credit to. each person there from different. political parties and backgrounds from. local politics to provincial politics to. federal politics. giving them all their. due and speaking again, speaking them. up, not punching down, not making this. about Carney. Here, play this clip. >> Okay, I'm the master of ceremonies and. [laughter].
I'm going to warm up for the premier. Uh, what an amazing crowd. And I want to. begin. First off, I want to thank uh. Monty Sberg, who is too modest uh to say. who's too modest even to be in the room. where. >> for. hosting us, for picking up the Come on, Monty. For picking up the tap, for all he's done for this great. province and all he's done for this. great country. >> Um I and I just want to say a few words.
uh before I hand to the premier. Uh, and. I'm going to pick out a couple of people. uh, including Monty uh, who are here uh, because I have learned a lot uh, from. those individuals. From Monty, I've learned words of. decency, rise sense of humor and an. inquisitiveness. about ideas. Lifelong inquisiess. I'm. getting to say it to see I should have. more of it. Uh, but when he was finance. critic, when he was a minister and ever.
since and he's always embraced new. ideas. Robert Evans, we sat next to each other. during the financial crisis, didn't we, Ars? Yes. Bold action, decisiveness, >> clarity, and bringing people together. >> You should be prime minister. >> My wife and four daughters will not. lemonade. [laughter]. >> Yeah. But now my daughters are gone in. there. I don't know where my I don't. know where my wife is. >> Bring your stomach. >> Bring your stomach.
>> [applause]. >> Great Canadian, great Albertan, focused government, small cabinet, [laughter]. according to rural Canada, rural Alberta. infrastructure and one of the pioneers, true pioneers of interp provincial. trade, many things you did uh premier. with uh the Northwest uh Northwest. initiative, BC, Alberta, uh. Saskatchewan, and we're trying to grow. that uh with Premier Sid to you.
>> [applause]. >> Jeff, >> affordable housing. >> Highspeed [clears throat]. transportation. >> Highspeed transportation. She's got the. Canada socks. Unfortunately, the Canada. socks. Mayor Farcus. >> How to give a speech. That's what I. learned.
how to be how to be inclusive. >> and how to fill this country. >> No, which is why there was a moment in. the speech last night, I'll leave you. with this, when the crowd erupted into. carne carney. And he goes, "No, no, no. Canada, Canada. That's what it means to. be sovereign. That's what it means to. love the country." And that's something. that I honestly wish we had here again. in the United States. I mean truly, you. know, as Donald Trump makes it all about. himself, there's so much that could have.
been accomplished. There's so much that. we can do. So anyway, let me just show. you what I'm talking about with Carney. from last night. Let's play it. >> Canada, Canada, Canada, Canada. [cheering]. >> [cheering]. >> There you have it everybody. Let me know. what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get. to 7 million subscribers. Thanks so much.
