As we've [music] been reporting, she's. under federal investigation for possible. immigration fraud, among other fraud. The feds are probing whether Omar or her. father may be may have changed her. citizen application to show that she was. just 17 years old instead of 18 years.
old at the time they were seeking her. naturalization. If they sought her naturalization, more on that in a second. If she was 17, as she now claims, then. she could have legally become a citizen. at the same time as her father if her. father had filled out the necessary. paperwork. If she was actually 18, she. would have been required to go through. the immigration process independently. Now, Omar and her father came to the.
United States in 1995 as Somali refugees. via Kenya and supposedly became citizens. in 2000 when they were allegedly. naturalized. They'd been here 5 years as. refugees, then after 5 years became. citizens thanks to naturalization. Or so she claims. Federal agents raided. her DC residence on Monday, and while.
her husband has been seen there. recently, Representative Omar's. whereabouts are unknown. Where is she? Where's her sister? Here's Jesse Waters. report last night, which includes Fox. News Digital, catching up with Omar's. husband, Tim Minette. Watch. >> Day four of World War I, the. investigation into Ilhan Omar and no. ceasefire in sight. On Monday, agents. raided her house. Tonight, Fox is. learning she was inside the house when. they came. Now, it appears she's gone.
into hiding. We've seen her husband. every day outside their DC home, but the. question everyone's asking is where's. Omar? >> There are rumors that the congresswoman. left the country. Is that true? Or she's. she still. >> the hell out of all the neighbors around. here, man? And then there's her sister, Sara Noir, who has reportedly been subpoenaed along. with 11 other people in Omar's inner. circle. So, last we heard, the feds are. still trying to reach her, which is.
weird because she's on tour right now in. Minnesota. She's based in Kenya, moved. back to Africa in 2024. But this month, she's back in the US of A hawking a. book, her memoir, Salt in the Snow. Omar is still posting on social media. celebrating a piece in the Washington. Post, which I'll get to in a minute, which reported that the Department of. Homeland Security during the first Trump. administration back in 2019 looked into.
Omar's citizenship issues and found. insufficient evidence of wrongdoing. There's a lot more to the Washington. Post report than that. That's a great. headline. Insufficient evidence. I mean, it's not that great. No evidence of. wrongdoing would be better. Insufficient. is a judgment call. And I, for one, have. questions about why these alleged. immigration officials who purportedly. worked on that probe are speaking to the.
Washington Post. Guaranteed. And by the. way, they're all ex immigration. officials now per the Post. So you tell. me why an immigration official that was. there during Trump one who would run to. the Washington Post to say, "Oh, there. was insufficient evidence when we looked. into this and raise questions about. whether this is a proper inquiry to. begin with." Um, now why would they do. that? Clearly, these are Democrats who. were part of a left-wing piece that of.
the administration that Trump inherited, who were on team Omar because this is. not over. Not by far. And there are some. glaring questions about Ilan Omar's. immigration history that even CNN was. wrestling with yesterday. You should. have seen poor Jake Tapper. He was. looking for any way out of the maze and. couldn't find it. Okay. but insufficient. evidence of wrongdoing at the time the. immigration officials allegedly looked. into this according to the Washington.
Post in 2019. So Ilan Omar now spiking. the ball thanks to her pals at the. Washington Post who are trying to. whitewash her writing her history. writing quote thank you to everyone who. stood with me over the years. It's been. a scary journey but I've always been. grounded in my work and ability to. provide exempl exemplary service to my. constituents. Trump and his admin have. been after me since I arrived in. Congress. I've always stood up to him. and that will never change. The. pedophile protector will never silence. me. Missing from there is I am a.
legitimate US citizen and can prove it. Where's that? This woman's in trouble. She's in trouble. Here's. the problem for her. Okay, this. Washington Post piece says, "We looked. into whether the father was working for. some warlord and shouldn't have been. granted asylum as an alleged educator or. refugee status and then allowed to.
naturalize." We looked into that and we. we didn't find sufficient evidence of. it. Again, here we are in sufficient. evidence of that. So, yeah, we we just. the quote in the Washington Post is I. think her citizenship is solid. I think. says this former official, one former. official familiar with the earlier. effort. I think her citizenship is solid. and there wasn't any fraud there. That's. what he thinks based on insufficient. evidence. Okay. [snorts] Um but they.
point out that uh Okay, hold on a. second. I'm trying to look for the quote. I. can't find it, but I'll get to it. In. any event, they don't have hardcore. evidence disproving any of this. All. right? And they barely looked into it. That's what the Washington Post piece. also makes clear. They began a. preliminary inquiry and then they. started a swift review examining her. history, her [snorts] family's past as. Somali refugees, um, and rumors that had.
circulated for years in conservative. media over her marriage. um Homeland. Security Investigations. The. investigative arm of US Immigration and. Customs Enforcement ultimately. determined that there was insufficient. evidence of wrongdoing. One of the. former officials said the idea of. pursuing a full investigation was. eventually abandoned. So, they did a. swift preliminary review that led to one. guy saying he thinks her citizenship is. solid and there wasn't any fraud there,
but they abandoned a full investigation. Okay, that's the big scoop from the. Washington Post today attempting to push. us all off of this. There's no there. there. Move on. This is a non-story. Oh, wait. It's already been investigated. It's done. All right. But here's the. problem for Ilan Omar. There is the possibility. I don't I. don't know whether they've got the. documentation. Okay, this guy seems to. be suggesting they looked into something.
something around the dad's. naturalization in 2000 and the attempt. to naturalize Ilan Omar. What did he. see? What document did you look at, sir? Where's the excerpt of it in the. Washington Post? What the Post is. reporting is, oh, they they talked about. it orally because they were worried. about putting something down in writing. and emailing it to each other. So there. there may have been a memo, but it was. only discussed in a meeting because no.
one wanted to email what. why this stinks to high heaven. And. here's the reason I would have said this. even without this AJ Kern that that. whole story smells. But there is the. matter of former congressional candidate. and Ilan Omar primary opponent AJ Kern. who we played to you earlier this week. She did her own investigation. She had a. feeling she was running against somebody. who might not be a lawful citizen. And. she found that Omar's father might never.
have been naturalized. He might never have become a citizen at. all. We played you the soundbite where she. went to the local office and got them on. camera saying they don't verify. somebody's citizenship when they try to. run for office. And apparently, unbeknownst to most of us, they don't. even verify that when you've won your. race and you're about to be sworn in. No. one ever verifies that you're actually a. US citizen.
It's just an honor system. And then we played you earlier this week. that she contacted immigration officials. via two different official lanes and. demanded to see the paperwork that would. prove Ilan Omar and of course her dad. since her citizenship was derivative if. at all had lawfully become citizens of. the United States by naturalizing in. 2000 as has been Ilan Omar's story. And.
the reporting was they said they had no. documentation. that Kerna was told via both lanes. Immigration officials in the admin at. the time, this is 2019, there was no. paperwork. They could find none. Well, our pal Benny Johnson had AJ Kern on. yesterday and talked about what exactly. she did after Omar's father passed away. from complications from COVID back in. 2020. So when he passed away, I did submit.
um to the US citizenship and immigration. services and it took about a year and so. I have a letter that's dated June 20th. um 2023 and June 20th it happens to be. refugee day which I thought okay God has. a sense of humor. Um but I was happy. about it. Um, and it said that uh after. a thorough search of their records using. all variations of her father's name, he.
was there's no naturalization records. And uh they informed me that I could. also request that the Department of. Homeland Security um look at their. database which I did. So in September uh. I in 2023 I received a a certificate of. non-existence of record um from DHS. So to me it was like okay now we have. these two documents. uh showing that he's not in the database.
he didn't natural. he's not in the database and he didn't. naturalize. This is a US congressional candidate at. this point, former trying to seek the. records to find out whether the person. who beat her in the primary and went on. to win the general was in fact an a US. citizen. And she is being told, she. says, by DHS that she was given a. certificate of non-existence of record. They don't have his records. Now, what.
the Washington Post reports is [snorts]. that the 2019 review that they're. reporting on their big scoop of Omar. looked at other issues, some of which. are being examined in new. Foram, example, back then, um, immigration. services quickly determined it could not. accurately answer questions over Omar's. age because refugees frequently come. from countries with little or no birth. records, making it hard to determine. with any certainty. Quote, "That's not.
strange." and that's not a red flag to. me. One of the former officials said. it's just very, very common that there. aren't great birth records. The agency. also examined Omar's father's. immigration file, but did not find any. issues according to the formal formal. official. What does that mean? You did. not find any issues because we have an. official response from the Department of. Homeland Security that they could not. find any records of the father's.
naturalization. So, which is it? And why. doesn't the Washington Post deal with AJ. Kern at all? At all? We contacted DA contacted DHS on. what Kern said. They referred us to DOJ. and we are still waiting to hear back. and I'll bet we will be able to get some. information because we do know some. people in the admin. Now, no one's going. to get ahead of their skis in terms of. the litigation that may be getting. started either civil or criminal, but we. are going to get to the bottom of this.
Trust me. Here's what Andy McCarthy was saying on. his podcast over on NR, which is always. well worth your time. He. was raising a very valid point which is. when have you heard of somebody coming. over here as a refugee and within 5. years being granted citizenship full. citizenship. Normally there are steps and one of them.
might be you know a a permission to work. one of them might be a more sweeping. position uh permission to work like a. green card. But all of that would happen. before you would get the full. citizenship. Five years. This guy who. came from Somalia with a brief stop over. in Kenya. I mean, this is 2000. This is before the. Joe Biden administration where everybody. got waved in. And this guy. suddenly got naturalized with no.
questions asked, notwithstanding his. very sketchy history, having served as a. colonel in the army for this guy who. allegedly killed between 50 and 200,000. civilians. And nobody that didn't get a. red flag at all. They just waved him. right in and now they suddenly can't. find his paperwork. What Andy McCarthy was suggesting, he's. a very smart man, was. this guy may never have been naturalized. at all, which would mean Ilan Omar was.
never naturalized at all. Which would. mean Ilon Omar is an illegal. Ilan Omar may be an illegal alien. Not not somebody whose naturalization. has problems. Not someone with bad. paperwork that needed to be amended or. may have been manipulated. Someone who. came here and never had permission to. stay and made up a lie or went along.
with the lies of her father that she. ever had the permission. I don't know whether that's true. This. Washington Post article is talking. about, as I read, they examined Omar's. father's immigration file, but did not. find any issues. How does that square. with what AJ Kern is telling us that she. received a certification from DHS of. nonexistence of records? I mean, this is potentially huge. This.
is potentially huge. We may have a non-citizen, an illegal. alien, serving in the US Congress. By. the way, just in case you were. wondering, read the Constitution. That. that is not allowed. You must be a US. citizen to serve in the US Congress. Check article one. Um, and now there's. more about. herb. All right? Because that too remains out. there as one piece of her alleged fraud. problems. Now again, the statute of.
limitations on this would have run as a. criminal matter, but we were told, we. heard Brian uh Kilme and others suggest. this could potentially be a RICO case. And while we haven't seen the warrant. that justified the search of her DC. apartment, we do know that one of the. things alleged was conspiracy. Now, RICO is racketeering conspiracy. Remember, they tried this against Trump. in Atlanta when they when Fanny Willis. was going after him. And it's basically. you've committed multiple crimes, many. of which the statute of limitations.
might have run on, but I'm going to get. you for being an over an overall sort of. crime lord. And and they tried this. against Trump. And it could be that. they're going to try this against Ilan. Omar if there are multiple immigration. frauds and possibly other frauds that. she's committed. I don't know what they. have. But if this is a RICO case, then. the Brebmond is back in business, even. though the statute of limitations on. that may have run. And that's name, for. new listeners, we're calling her brother. brother-husband.
Um, the husband, his name is Akmed Ermy. And my is Omar's last name. Omar is not. her last name. Basically, she was in. Somalia and some family named Omar was. about to get over here on refugee. status. And they agreed to take Ilan, her dad, and her sister and rename them. Omar's so that they could get in, too. But her real last name is my who did she. marry a few years? Elme Elme if who did. she marry a a few years after her.
religious ceremony to the father of her. children which didn't count legally. Her. husband that was purportedly a legal. marriage. I mean she went through the. civil ceremony. She did the things that. are required to make it legal on paper. The New York Post last December found. that this guy I mean take a look at this. guy. This is this is her alleged. husband, the brusman. He calls himself. dirty dandy on social media. All right.
He looks flaming gay, but who am I to. say? He's got double earrings. He's got. the curls. He's got the short shorts. going. Um, no idea. I'm just going to go. ahead and say there was no sexual. relationship with Ilan Omar because they. were brother and sister and there may. have been another issue as it turns out. And there are there are more questions. still because while the Washington Post. did its best today to whitewash all of.
this history, um the the the elme piece of this. actually incriminates her. Even the. Washington Post's reporter uh report. today incriminates her. It reports that. Elme when he was married to her and had. like a an immigration pass to be here. because of the marriage got greedy and. he applied for a green card under the US.
Citizen and Immigration Services. And. guess what? They finally wanted more. information about his marriage to Omar. I wonder why. And guess what Elme did. when the US Citizen and Immigration. Services said, "We're not sure we're. going to give you a green card. We need. more information about your immigration. status." He withdrew the damn. application. He withdrew it. How many frauds have been committed. here? Is she an illegal alien?
Did she get her illegal alien brother. over here who took advantage of of us. for years before getting greedy and. finally getting almost caught? [snorts]. Don't tell me this is done, Washington. Post, with your preliminary look. Done. on a quick basis that did not result in. a full investigation. A full. investigation is now required. and is underway. This is not retribution.
This is the unearthing of a scoundrel. once and for all. What has she done? Where is her paperwork? E [snorts] even if you accept you can't. prove birthy year on a refugee, which is. that there's family members. That's why she's got a dozen subpoenas. out to family members right now. The DOJ. does. And I have no idea whether they're. going to be truthful. I doubt it. But,
you know, they they seized her passport. They seized her phone. They're looking. at her phone right now. Wonder what's on. there, right? So, there is a way of. proving birth date. And I'll bet they're. working to get to the bottom of that. right now. But if you become a. naturalized US citizen, you have. paperwork. So, let's see it. That should. be very easy to produce. Maybe the big. bad government lost it because they lose. forms. It's a little coincidental, but.
okay, maybe they did. Your dad would. have had it for sure. You don't get. naturalized and kind of just lose your. naturalization papers. We we all know we. we have birth certificates. We have. confirmation certificates. That's what. you keep in your fancy file because, you. know, you're going to need that for. various things in your life, like a. wedding. So, where are her. naturalization papers? Where are they? They would be with the. dads, which we're told do not exist. This is getting very interesting. Um,
but I will tell you one thing. If she's. not a US citizen, she's out of the US. Congress. And I'm sure under this. administration, she will be out of the United States. They will make a massive push to get her. deported. And that will turn into a. lengthy litigation, and she will claim. all the things. But Trump has been. evicting illegals at record rates, not. as fast as many of us would like, but at. record rates and dennaturalizing people,
too. So, if she can prove naturalization. or at least that the process happened. and that she, you know, purported to be. 17 at the time, um, then we'll have a. process to find out whether that was. true. And if she was 18, it will have. failed and there will be litigation. about whether she has to go. And that's. in the civil lane because there's no. statute of limitations on suing her. civily to deport her to get her out of. here to make sure the citizenship is. clear one way or the other. And. criminally she may have her hands full. too either in the immigration lane. I.
don't know what else they have on her. and or in the criminal in the financial. disclosure lane which is what Janine. Piro is reportedly looking into. Janine. Pero's looking into that financial. disclosure where she went from making. 51,000 in one year to 30 million the. next and then back down to peanuts. Doesn't matter if the house exonerated. her or found okay, no funny business. Um. that's a courtesy a lot of these. lawmakers do for other lawmakers because. their own houses are dirty. That doesn't.
bind Janine Piro in any way, shape, or. form. she's allowed to use subpoena. power and get to the bottom of where. that money came from and then it. magically went. Not to mention the fraud. scandals coming out of Minnesota. And. the sister who we told you about. yesterday had a business address that. was linked to a person who committed. fraud in connection with this whole. Somali fraud thing being done in.
Minnesota. There's just there's a lot. here. So, thank God we now have an. administration that is getting to the. bottom of it. Um, doing a thorough. search on um what Ilan Omar did and what. she didn't do. And don't let the. Washington Post tell you there's no. there there. They are scared and running. cover for one of their favorites. Stay tuned. All right, we're going to. take a break and when we come [music]. back, Moren Callahan is here on so many. juicy stories. Moren Callahan is with us. She is the. host of The Nerve, which is crushing it. on YouTube and all podcast platforms. Find out more at the nervow.com. Moren, my god, we I would not have. postponed your beginning for anyone. other than Ilan Omar, who may be an. illegal. >> I think my favorite port manto of the. moment may be Brand. Yeah, that's great. I had that one. before. [laughter]. >> It's very sketchy. Let me apply for a. green card now. Oh, great. Okay, let us. look into your immigration status. Oh,
never mind. I'm good. [laughter]. >> Sure. That's what all legitimate people. would do. I just feel like the the. marrying the brother, even just for. reasons like this, is crossing such a. weird creepy line. Like, I can never get. my mind past what that actually means. It's so disgusting. >> That the nerve truly to steal a phrase, you know, that that if she got over. here, if she if her story is true, she. was a refugee and then she naturalized. thanks to the dad's paperwork. Um, but. she may or may not have been a minor.
And if she wasn't a minor, then the dad. can't waver in. She has to go through it. on her own. >> And then to have gotten away with all. that and then to get so greedy. Now you. got to go get the brother who didn't. come over with the Omar's. He went to. the UK with another brother. And she's. like, I can get another one if I She. thinks she is Oscar Schindler. She got. him in. She's like, we'll marry I didn't. really marry the first husband who. fathered all my children. That was just. a Muslim ceremony. So I'll So she quote. legally married her brother. These are. the allegations. She denies them. And.
then that guy gets so greedy he tries to. get an actual work permit as if he. actually belongs here and they're like. hey about that marriage and he's like. never mind. >> Also what's wrong with the UK. happy you landed there your way over. here if you want but that's a lovely. place to wind up. >> The whole thing is so incredible. Like. honestly, if this woman has been serving. in the US Congress as an illegal Yes. It. is going to be the biggest story we have.
seen in years. >> Do you think here's what I think given. where we're at now culturally. If she. does not get sent to prison, she will. get a reality show. >> Oh, I would have cameras in the house. with the husband and the brother. The. brick. >> instead of Big Brother, it'll be. >> like Yeah. It's like a Brady Bunch kind. of, you know, mixed family. It's a new. kind of mixed family, right? husband. [laughter]. >> I'm very into this. I cannot wait to get. to the bottom of it. Um, maybe there's. no there there. Truly, I'm open-minded,
but I want to see the paperwork. Show me. the paperwork. I'm a lawyer at heart. I. like to see paper, actual paper. Um, okay. Speaking of lawyers, I guess we. have to start with the press secretary. because we'll do a little hard news. before we move on to the others. It's. not going well for the press secretary, Katie Zakaria. Um, and something very. interesting happened. So, she did not. have a strong debut. That was clear. I. remain open-minded to a strong. follow-up, right? Like, she was nervous.
It's It's scary to be out there. >> You could make the case she shouldn't. have been chosen for this role if she. can't perform well under nerves and. under the spotlight. Okay, but let's. just see. Okay, I I feel like they're. being so hard on her and they totally. gave Karine Jean-Pierre a total pass and. all she did was read. So, I object to. the double standard. She never actually. looked into the camera and spoke. extemporaneously. She only read her. stupid notebook and what was in there. wasn't very persuasive. So this girl's. at least trying to speak contemp. extemporaneously, though it's not going. all that well. So she goes on Fox News.
last night. Now with respect to Sean. Hannity, this is not a dig. This is just. a truism. He's basically the. spokesperson for Trump. >> He doesn't do anything that's going to. upset Trump, who he considers his best. friend. >> Oh. >> yeah, he told me that personally. Um, and so he's not going to go out there. and try to like undermine him, but he. gets the president's new secretary, press secretary on. And did not go easy. on her. Um, which one should we start. with, Steve? 49 or 49B.
All right, we'll start with stop 49. Watch. >> Why not just say I went to Pepperdine. Law School and then took a different. career path and I took the bar once and. didn't pass it. Why get into this long. drawn out definition between the. difference between a lawyer and an. attorney? Because I don't think most. people see much of a distinction. Why. didn't you just say, "I never practice. law.". >> Well, Sean, I when I moved back from the. United States, I didn't retake the bar. I had four kids in six years. It was.
never my intent to go into the practice. of law. When I was at when when I went. to go engage in media and give legal. analysis, I consulted attorneys and. legal professionals as to whether or not. they agreed that I could be labeled a. lawyer. Both because I had a valid. jurist doctor from a good law school, a. reputable law school, Pepperdine Law. School, and in conjunction with the fact. that I did have actual substantive legal. experience. I wasn't providing any legal. analysis, Sean, or I excuse me, a legal.
advice. I wasn't being paid for legal. advice. I was giving a general review of. of the legal circumstances surrounding. it. >> Okay. Now, that is a reference to the. fact that she held herself out as a. lawyer. I mean, we have a long long. butted soundbite I could play for you of. her calling herself a lawyer. Um, when. she's not. She graduated from law. school, but she failed the California. Bar Exam and she never took the. California Bar Exam again. A a press uh. pool shouted at her, "Where did you pass.
the bar exam?" and she said China. >> where she did go after law school and I. guess did some the equivalent of like. internship work over there not actual. legal work. She did not pass a bar exam. in China nor would that be relevant to. whether she's a legitimate lawyer here. >> Um and then she later said she had. misheard the question and had to admit. that she is not licensed to practice law. anywhere and never has been. She failed. the bar and she never got her law. license and now is is making an excuse.
about how she said lawyer but not. attorney because somebody told her she. could say that. Look, I don't tolerate. this. You held yourself out as a lawyer. You knew very well what everybody would. think when you said you were a lawyer. You were on television commenting on. legal matters using that title. And. that's a hard no. So, I have zero. problem with the press pushing her on. this. And when she was asked about why. you did that on Fox and Friends this.
morning, like why did you do that? She. just said nobody at the uh they asked do. you wish you had explained this. disclosed this to President Trump. She. said no one asked. >> Oh, okay. >> All right. So, >> it's on the resume. One would assume she. put it on the resume. >> and it's out in the public. Like it's up. to you if you've duped people, especially somebody like President. Trump, into believing that you have a. very important degree and that you could.
potentially be a real asset to him based. on your legal experience to disclose. that you may have overstated the case a. bit, right? Okay. So, this is. >> Can I ask you a question? Is there a. difference between lawyer and attorney? >> I mean, no. >> Okay. Thank you. But apparently she has. found one person at Pepperdine Law. School to say so [laughter] who's now. getting so dragged on X that they've had. to close their account and shut off all. comments. Um the the point to me though. is not even whether there's a. difference, you know, under somebody's. definition. The point is you know very. well if you say you're a lawyer, people. think that you're an actual lawyer with.
a with a license to practice law. >> Of course, >> it's like saying you're a doctor when. you just graduated from med school, but. you didn't actually go through an. internship and a residency and become an. attending physician. Like we we people. would like to know that distinction. You. can you can you can tell them most. people haven't been to med school, so. you have something more than I have. You. have you have an MD. I don't have an MD, >> right? >> But if you say, "I'm a lawyer," and then. give legal commentary. Of course, everybody believes you're doing that. because you've had experience in the. field and you've practiced law, just ask. Sunonny Host every 5 seconds as a former.
federal prosecutor, her predecessor, Star Jones. I am a lawyer. That was. always what she said. This is what I. kind of I feel like this culture in in. terms of language linguistics, we've. moved so far away from binaries when. they exist. Either you're a lawyer or. you're not. Did you lie or did you not? It's not a misrepresentation. It's not. that we misunderstand her. She lied. >> Yeah. Well, she it's puffery at a. minimum. Like at best for her it's.
puffery where you. >> build yourself up into having more or. being more than you actually do or are. But you know, the problem is there's. such hypocrisy in the mainstream media. that doesn't care. They want us to call. Elsad a doctor even though he's in the. same position. He he's not a practicing. physician. And they're giving him a. total pass. They they literally lectured. people like me publicly everywhere for. not calling Dr. Jill Biden a doctor. >> We all know that that is a complete.
stretch and everyone knows if you want. to be called a doctor. So, like it's a. little much, >> right, >> to be lectured by these people. Um, okay. But separate and apart from the. lawyer thing, which I'm not on her side. on, um, Hannity. >> did not leave it at that. Like, he was. needling her, >> which does tell me she her neck is. probably on the chopping block because I. don't think Trump would have allowed. that. I don't think Hannity would have. done that. >> if he didn't think Trump wanted him to. or Trump also had questions about her.
That's just my own take. I could be. wrong, but here's S uh 49B. >> time. I received briefing materials in. the morning of Tuesday and I went to. deliver all of the great results that. President Trump is delivering for the. American people that are not often. spread in the na national media. So, I. took it as an opportunity so people. would know what he's doing for Americans. and how hard he's working. And then I. delivered some breaking news. Uh, I. think I'm one of the first press.
secretaries to deliver staff changes for. the administration and I was uh honored. that President Trump trusted me. delivering that information. >> I can give you uh some unsolicited. advice. That's never going to be a. friendly room to you. >> Yeah. So what I what I would say is I. would absolutely be very well prepared. on the briefing Sean and I would love. and I do love questions and I would love. to build a relationship with all of.
those members of the press corps. [music]. So there is a substantive component to. us having an ability to interact. >> It's not going well. So, I read. yesterday, I believe, because I I just. love palace intrigue, period, that um. Trump reportedly pulled the trigger on. Katie while Susie Wilds was like out of. pocket, >> you know, his chief of staff. I've read. that she doesn't ban and she did not.
want her either. And is Susie Wilds now. on the chopping block because she's been. iced out of some major administrative. decisions? Um, I just this bums me out. This bums me out because it's. >> there is truth to what they say about. Trump and central casting and this is. kind of his preferred central casting. and I I understand it's early days for. her but I don't think this is an on the. job training position. You have to come. out guns blazing. H is right that job.
that is an oppositional room. That's it. She's there to like say what the. administration wants and never deviate. for from those talking points no matter. what. >> You need a warrior. You need a warrior. someone with really thick skin or like. an like Jen Saki who could just. be really condescending when you ask a. question she doesn't have the answer to. like an Ivy League. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. I know. That's the thing. I mean I do I will say in Katie's. defense, it's very hard to follow. Caroline Levit. Like if I were advising. her, I would say the next time she gets. asked this question, she should say.
Caroline Levit is a very tough act to. follow and I promise I will do my best. to try to measure up. It may take me a. while. >> Yeah, >> that's it. Just be humble. Don't ramble. on. Well, every time she's been asked. about this. on Hannity, on Fox and Friends, she goes. into a lengthy ramble about how amazing. Donald Trump is. It's embarrassing. It. It's a sickopant type response like, "I. know I'm bad at this, but I love Donald. Trump so much that I'll just kiss ass so. that I can keep this job." Which may be.
clever, you know, maybe smart, but is. very undermining to her own credibility. Just own it. say, you know what, I have. been stumbly this week. I'm a little. nervous. It's harder to do than I. thought it was, but substantively I will. get there. You know, my performance, my. my smoothness on the air, that may take. me a while. And I ask for your patience. Say that. Have a little humility. Yeah. You Yes. And also, if I were her and I. felt like over my head, I would be sure.
to be locked in a room with the best. media consultants possible. Learn how to. answer a question succinctly. Learn how. to pivot. Learn how to speak. extemporaneously without struggling for. your words or repeating your words or. not being sure of the message you want. to get across. I mean, unless you get. this, like I'm sure Doug has had this or. you know, being married to you, but like. when you're getting ready to promote a. book, if you've never done press before, they put you in a room, a publisher, and. they media train you. >> Oh, he did not have that. No,
>> but he probably was fine. >> But he gets that at dinner every night. [laughter]. >> Fun for him. like a version of the. Kennedys. Tell me your big three talking. points OF TODAY'S NEWS. WHY NOT? YES. >> YES. EXACTLY. [laughter]. >> OKAY. Um here's one more. This is 50. This is her on Fox and Friends this. morning. >> When's the next press briefing? Will you. have another one? >> Well, I'll be working in close. coordination with the communications. department, the president to determine. when the best next time for a press. briefing is. And I'm really looking. forward to working with the press,
working with the journal, working with. all of the journalists and everyone. here. And it's a really a true privilege. and I am excited to do it and it's going. to be a wonderful journey and we have a. lot to look forward to as a country and. there is no better president to work for. than President Trump. He is just the. most hardworking incredible man and I'm. grateful to be here. >> Katie, do you and it's a tough question. Do you think you still have the. confidence of the president? Uh, I I'm standing here and I was able. to travel with him through all of the.
midterm convention or excuse me, the. midterm rallies and I hope to be able to. build the trust and confidence of. everyone around me. >> Oh, I feel bad for her. I I do. I feel. like, you're right, they need to get her. into a room and murder board her right. away. Like, it should be non-stop. She. should not be looking at the news at. all. She should just be behind closed. doors getting drilled over and over and. over with hard questions. And like, you. can't start over again. You have to say. it. You have to complete the thought. There's no ums, there's no a there's no.
there's no complimenting President. Trump. Stop it. You sound like you're. with Pravda. >> And just, you know, stay on point. I. don't I'm not sure. I mean, it's been a. very rocky week for her. Rocky start. I. hope she makes it. I do. I hope she. proves her doubters wrong, but she's. going to need to practice a lot. >> Reminding me a lot of Sarah Palin. >> Oh god. >> It is. You know where it's like you you. would think like if SNL were not off. this week, this would be a skit. You. know what I mean? like let's just keep. going. Well, I do you have the. confidence of the president? Well, I was.
able to travel with him and you know, >> well, I'm standing here. >> I'm st I'm standing here, aren't I? Or. am I technically sitting? I don't know. You know, it's like it's just there are. some people who as mediaenic as Sarah. Palin was. Even if you think she was not. that bright, which I did and do, she was. medioenic, but she couldn't get it down. She couldn't get it down. You know, and. especially Katie has to know she's. talking to outside of Fox, a media that. is openly hostile to her and that.
administration. They would love nothing. more than to see her head roll by day. five. You know, >> the one thing she's got going for her is. she seems sweet. Like I will say she. seems like a sweet gal to me which again. query why she's in this role because. that they'll eat you alive. But I mean. maybe she should lean into that and just. like be her nice self. Like be. self-deprecating, own your flaws, work. on them. But the one thing you're going. to have to know forward and backward is. like substance. If you are sloppy in the. delivery, but you know the substance. cold, I think you could get forgiven.
even by this nasty press cor. Like give. them real answers. You know, the the. problem is generally this role does. require a bulldog. Yeah. >> And what Republicans want to see is a. fight. >> Yeah. >> That that's one of the reasons they. liked Kaylee Mcaney, that they liked. Caroline Levit because they were a they. were not afraid of these, you know, just. >> vultures in that room, >> right? >> They gave as good as they got. So, if. you're not able to do that, you better. at least be substantively rock solid. She's got a lot of homework to do. We'll.
see. I after Hannity, the closest people. to Trump at Fox are Fox and Friends. >> Oh, really? >> So, that was a one-two punch by the the. two groups of people closest to him at. Fox. And I do wonder whether this was. some sort of decision, >> you know, to. >> hobble her or to telegraph she's going. I don't know. I don't know. I know Trump. doesn't like to fire people who are. caught in left-wing firestorms. >> Ah. >> Um, rightwing. >> Okay. and and query whether he's.
creating them in part. I don't know the. answer to that. Okay, so that's that. Enough palace intrigue over at team. White House. Uh Katie, we remain rooting. for you. Uh hang in there. Okay, there's. a lot more to get to. Where which one. should we start with next? I guess we. should do Megan and Harry. They're back. They're back in the UK. Moren, it's a. coming home party. Back to Kensington, right? Or Nottingham? Noddingham. >> Oh, they went to Wasn't that their first. walkabout? >> Yes. as as an engaged couple and it.
appears that. >> they like we had more people when you. arrived here at the studio today to. greet [laughter] them. She's um greeting. people at the rope line. Oh yes, it. looks nice and crowded. Look at the. people who turned out for her. And then. if you zoom out and you see some of the. aerials, it's I think we would call it a. smattering. I think smattering is where. we'd go. And on top of that, it turns. out that she was given this big bouquet. of roses reportedly from like she has a. little fan club that follows her. Very.
little. So, it wasn't actual like. regular Brits who were showing up to. greet her. Look at this. Look, look, look. Moren. Okay, this is a deeper cut. But this. reminds me, this my theory. When Frank. Sinatra was starting out, his management. would pay teenage girls like five bucks. a pop to scream their heads off while he. was on the street and then pretend to. [laughter] faint. And that's so I would. bet they might they may be on their. meager payroll. >> I I am going to do that for you the next. time you come here. >> Thank you. It's the little things. I. appreciate that.
>> When I was at Jones Day, my law firm, we. used to have like a retreat every year. and we'd go cool places. We went to. Disney one year. It was really fun. And. uh one year they hired, this is back in. the boom days of law firms. They hired a. bunch of people. We got off the buses. like the lawyers and we're walking into. the facility and they hired a bunch of. people to have fan signs and the the. signs read the one I remember was show. us your briefs. >> Oh my god, [laughter]. >> it was so funny. I looking at all like. the stiff lawyers like oh my goodness.
and like asking for our autographs. >> Oh that's so funny. But basically the same firm is now. servicing these two. >> Yeah. like rent a crowd, rent an. audience. Like we've we've done on the. nerve we found out through troublemakers. that Bill Maher's audience is paid for. He uses a service out in LA. It's called. like. >> I forget the name of it, but it's like. you they you hire an audience. They get. paid 50 bucks a pop. >> What? >> To sit in that audience for an hour and. clap and applaud and do all the things.
Yeah, >> that's amazing. >> Yeah. So Megan's got a line to that. stuff, I'm sure. >> Yes. Well, or her little fan club, you. know, it's like, oh, all 15 of them. So. they showed up because they're into her, but this is not normal Brits. They have. no fan club over there whatsoever. They're not their approval ratings are. in the dumps. So they show up over there. and then she meanders through I don't I. saw her in like some school where she's. going child to child trying to look like. she cares. This is all PR and what we're.
basically seeing here is. >> them acting like real royals when. they're fake. >> Yes, >> they're fake royals. Yes, >> this is like dime a dozen. This is like. by a royal. >> and it's embarrassing like that. You. tell me whether the king needs to shut. this down. >> I wish he would. He's leaving it to. William. You know, this is all the stuff. Megan doesn't want to do. It was Megan. who said during their their first huge. royal overseas tour was Australia, which. I believe was a call back to Charles and. Diana. Their first overseas royal tour.
as a married couple was Australia. And. Diana broke royal protocol because for. for the first time a future queen. insisted on flying with the air. William. was a baby. >> and that was her rapturous applause and. her ascendance to like global stardom. >> But Megan on her first royal tour. reportedly allegedly said to an aid, "I. can't believe I'm not getting paid for. this." And then in a in a in a later I. believe hissy fit of um just epic. proportions reportedly allegedly the way.
it's been reported in the British press. was she threw a cup of hot tea in the. air but I don't know anybody who's ever. thrown something in the air out of. frustration especially liquid. It's. usually the the rumor and longstanding. is that she tossed it onto an aid. She. burned an aid. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Believable. I'm sorry. Totally. believable. A nasty bully. >> Do we think Megan Markle for a moment. wants to spend time in an old folks home. or a soup kitchen or with poor children.
only if it makes her look good? Only if. it makes and she can only keep that mask. on for so long. She, you know, and she's. overly excited to be there. You know, she's over oh. sacker and. >> and it's such an obvious affectation the. way she responds to these fans. You. know, I much prefer the frankly hairy. and William and Kate style, which is. just to be polite, to greet them, to. smile, shake a hand, take a bouquet. She's over the top because she she's. desperate to telegraph like all mean.
people are how nice they are. Yes. Actually nice people don't have to do. that. >> Yes. >> They've got absolutely nothing to prove. >> Yes. They don't have to. They don't have. to say they're It's the way that um. people who are good people never say, "I'm a good person." They just are. It's. bad actors who are always like, I'm a. good person, you know, I'm just. misunderstood. So, this is the place that uh while. living in uh royal castles uh that made. her suicidal. >> Yes. But this is the answer for her.
happiness. >> Oh, and they they hate the UK. It's a. bunch of racists who drove her to. suicidal ideiations who are obsessed. with the skin color of her babies. And. yet, >> there they go. Back. It's such a. wonderful thing to be here. We're. thrilled. Now we're going to raise them. here in the racist country that's. obsessed with their skin color that. doesn't care if I live or die. That. tried to drive me to suicide. So happy. to be home. Oh, and and she's trying to. uh launch as ever over there. >> Oh yeah. And she's she was just smacked.
down by the UK government because her. dimwit husband didn't even know this. that there are import export laws. regarding food stuffs and her fake food. doesn't pass the test. The flower. sprinkles. I love it. The flower. sprinkles are banned as is the jam and. fruit spread which I thought is the same. thing but both have been banned. All. three I guess have been banned now for. her. That's is her big plan to bring as. ever over there where she's even less. popular than she is here. And this all.
happens as we get news about what's. happening with their little Archwell. charity. >> Um we'll pick it up there. We're going. to take a quick break, but we'll tell. you what's happening with their charity, and we've got to talk about what Ari. Emanuel told me about her and her job. prospects uh when we come back right. after this. Don't go away. Plenty more. between [music] MK Morin, and The Nerve. coming up. Don't miss a moment. But let me tell you about buoy. electrolyte drops. What is buoy? It's a. clean, purposely unflavored liquid. electrolyte formula packed with 87 ocean. harvested trace minerals. Love this. You. can add a quick squeeze to any drink, even your morning coffee or matcha, without changing the taste at all. This.
is so great. I hate it when you put one. of these supplements in your drink and. it ruins your drink. It's free from. sugars, sweeteners, artificial. ingredients, or synthetic flavors, and. third-p partyy tested for impurities and. heavy metals. Plus, it's backed by real. science. Buoy says a universityled. clinical trial published in the journal. Nutrients showed that buoy is clinically. proven to hydrate 64% more than water. alone and 49% more than leading sports. drinks. If you want to make your. favorite drinks instantly more.
hydrating, head to justad. buoy.com/megan. Buoy is buoy. Just add buoy.com/megan. We're very lucky. >> It's truly such a pleasure to listen to. >> Thank you. >> So, I want to keep going with these two.
grifters. >> because there was an incredible moment. where the veil came down on Megan. Markle's face. They were greeting people. and they were being greeted by some. blonde woman. I don't know who she was. Our pal Dan Wooden pointed it out. You'll see it here in Sat 9. I know. But. I've got to show you this moment first. where Megan sees Harry lean in for the. kiss, immediately turns to look at the. woman before her horrified face goes.
back to her husband woman. Now, that is. a very English European thing to do, isn't it? That the the the double kiss. on the cheek, but it shows you how. insecure she is in these moments. He nailed it, Moren. Because she does. this. Not only does she lose the grin. entirely, but she does this. >> Yes. Yes. >> I'm putting my tongue I'm like cleaning. the front of my teeth with my tongue. That That's what she does. Like.
>> and and then like kind of looks away and. pretends that there's somebody behind. him that she's gesturing to. So like she. she doesn't even have to look at the. woman. >> Yes. >> It's very clear she did not appreciate. this. And and it reminds me of the Chris. Jenner moment. >> Yes. Her rack where he was staring at. the rack. Yes. It also reminds me, do. you remember? We showed this picture a. little while ago. It's an older one, but. she's seated next to Harry at some. outdoor event and they're all on those. kinds of folding chairs that are not.
attached. She is about seated about a. foot away. Harry is next to her and next. to Harry is another woman who was like a. functionary of this event. But Harry's. reclined. He's got his legs spread. He's. got his arms slung over the chair of the. other woman who is standing ram sitting. ramrod straight like like don't Megan. don't think I'm encouraging this. And. Megan's staring forward with like that. that wideey like smile on her. Everything's fine. I'm not angry. I'm.
not angry. And that level of insecurity. gives to my mind gives credence to Lady. C's assertion that there has been. another woman in Monteceto. The detail. that this woman is age appropriate to me. says it all. That is an incredible. detail. Normally it would be like a. younger woman, maybe an influencer. No, that like she is known among like. >> I I I do think the flight to the UK did. have something to do with that. Just my. opinion. Well, it does show her.
insecurity because I can tell you. >> one thing I have zero insecurity about. is my marriage. You know, Doug and I are. genuinely very close and I know he. adores me and I adore him. >> and um. >> if he ever kissed a woman like that, I I. wouldn't even it wouldn't even catch my. notice. It's like it is sort of a way of. saying hello. Doug doesn't do that. kissing. >> He doesn't do the double air kiss. >> No. And by can I just tell you it's. actually one of my massive pet peeves. when American men do it. >> Mhm. like it's fine for Harry and Wooden. is correct. That is a European thing and.
when I'm greeting a European man, I. expect it. >> and I don't think a thing of it, but. it's very wannabe by these American men. who do it. >> Women do it too. >> Yeah, American women do it too, you. know. >> I mean, I can forgive the women actually. more than I can the men because it's. just so if feet, you know, it's like. >> Oh, that Oh, it gets to your masculinity. thing. Yeah, I get it. >> Don't be a man. Don't. >> Would you prefer a hair a handshake from. a man? >> Yes, I would. Okay. Or I I could do the. like the no body touch hug. >> Yes. >> I'm okay with that. >> Yes.
>> Like I I'm not saying it's a come on. I'm saying it's like and and it's it's. only been done to me by like. >> business executives who are skinny and. small and not confident. Do you know. what I mean? Like. >> it's like it it's a thing that feet men. do do in order to feel fabulous, I. guess. >> Oh, okay. >> I don't know. But I I'm against it. Very. against it. Oh, >> and then you never know which way to go. And then you can have the inadvertent. lip touch, which is a nightmare. >> Oh, that's never happened to me. Like an. inadvertent lip like you you I think you.
pretty much know like this is not that's. not going that way. But like I don't. know. It's never really bothered me. I. mean, I've certainly had male colleagues. where you know once I've come to have a. very clo closely a good close working. relationship. >> for the male. They're Brits. There's a. bunch of Brits. >> There's American there are Americans. there. But I'm talking even at the post. where like it's it was rough and tumble. there. journalism. I would like doing. this. >> If I like if if one of my editors like. came to an event I was having and I. would give them like a nonbody contact. hug.
>> I disagree. That's fine. I'm talking. about that kiss on both sides. >> Oh, you're talking about that? Oh, well. that's Yes, that is an affectation for. sure. Absolutely. I I do think generally. if you if you meet somebody and they're. going to go for it, the general rule is. everyone go for the other person's right. side. >> Yeah. >> And then it works. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> The the puzzle of it can fit together. >> Yes. >> Um Okay. Yes. So, there is news about. the two grifters and how their business. isn't doing very well or at least. Archwell isn't doing very well. Um let.
me see the uh the headline. Do I have it. in front of me? I don't know. They they. basically had to cut back is is the. headline. And between that and the. inability to sell half of her wares over. there, I do wonder whether Ari Emanuel. is going to be able to help her help. her. Here is what he said when he came. on the MK show, her former super agent, but is now quote thinks it's great to be. rid of her. Saw it six recently told the. Sunday Times, "It was a great thing that.
you were no longer having to think about. her.". >> Yeah. >> Why? Why is that great? >> Listen, I got a busy life. She is finding her voice. I'm happy for. her. We're we're The great thing I hope. as a parent of starting William Morris. Endeavor is there's people here that. they can handle stuff and and handle. clients. And for me, I I just had a lot. on my plate with I've started a new.
company. I run TKO. I have clients. And. it was it was better to let them deal. with her and execute against her needs. and her desires. And I'm happy that. everybody's doing it for me. >> than to have you do. >> that. I I couldn't I couldn't it. couldn't occupy I didn't want it. occupying my brain. And when I'm. involved in somebody, it constantly when. I wake up in the morning, clients occupy. my brain. When that's what happens and I.
just didn't want to do that anymore. Having nothing about her, I just needed. to move on to other things I was doing. >> Did you find there was a big appetite. for her services? >> Well, I mean, you know, I I I think. there's a bunch of things that our. people are doing for her now, so that's. a good thing. >> I'm just not involved. [laughter]. I'm not involved. I mean, and not in a. bad way. I just I just have. >> a lot on my plate.
Hey, if Katie loses her job, he could be. the new White House press secretary. It's giving that like, and I love that. because he's like a creature of. Hollywood. He has run that town for. decades. And he's like, I I don't I. Everything's cool. Everything's I mean, I just don't I don't have time. Like, I'm I'm doing other things. I've got. kids. Oh, and by the way, like I just I. need to think about my clients all like. like he couldn't I love stuff like that. it because it shows even experts at. messaging for other people if they're. put on the spot and they like they're. trying in my opinion not to tell the.
whole truth which I think was like. >> so happy to be done with her. >> Yes. Yeah. >> I put him in an impossible spot and he. was a good sport about letting me do it. because you know he knew I'm sure that I. was going to ask a question about that. Um but yeah he so he can't completely. throw her under the bus because his. agency still represents her but he. offloaded her. Make no mistake about it. she started with him and it's not a. great thing to be to have your agent. offload you to a lessernown agent within. the agency that clearly that is not a.
sign of respect or belief in you and. even at the end there he was about to. gear up to say something like and she's. had to know some projects come in and he. changed it to and they're they're. working you know basically to find her. anything [laughter]. is what he was saying and and I want to. update what I was saying it's not the. charity Archwell the headline in the. post is they have quietly downsized. their Archwell Productions company as. their Hollywood ventures continue to. face challenges. Quote, "They cut staff. over the last 12 to 18 months." A source.
exclusively told Page Six. According to. the insider, their company is now down. to just a handful of employees in its. Raleigh Studios offices in Los Angeles. Um, and this is not, you know, a sign of. health because everything they've. touched other than that original Netflix. documentary and his book in his his. book, right, which is both of those are. just about the royal family. That's. interesting Kate and William and the. queen, >> um, has turned to None of them has. worked. Her stupid podcast, his dumb.
polo documentary, her book got cancelled. on whatever child story she was going to. tell. >> the bench. >> Yeah. >> That wound up on eBay for 20k. >> Oh god. What? Oh, did you miss this? You. could get an animatronic bird in. Brooklyn for less than that. >> Those those Brooklyn [laughter]. hipster they got that price to. 15 million. >> You're right. There's no one there's no. one to root for in that story. >> There's there's no one to root for. But. um No. Okay. This is so good. This is so. good. So on eBay appears a signed copy.
of The Bench by Megan to. >> But it was never published. >> No, I think it's published in a small. run and it just bombs. Okay, maybe. that's what it was. >> So, it was signed to Yuj and Jack, meaning Princess Eujenei. >> Oh, Lord. >> Andrew's daughter. And it was an. inscription that said, so they had moved. into Frogmore, that dump that Harry and. Megan just could not abide. >> The ceilings are too low. >> Oprah Winfrey showed up and said, "How. can you live here on the Netflix show? How can you live in this dump?" So, she.
she writes, "I hope that I hope that you. and your guys have as much fun there as. you know, whatever." And she signed it. It was written in that like insufferable. calligraphy and she signed it. >> Meg. But I thought about you when I saw. this because she signed it M E G H. >> and I was like that would be like you. signing Meg. M E G Y. >> Me. Y is silent. Like all Irish names. there's like a million silent vowels. And um but so it was like who could have.
put that up on on eBay for 20,000? only. Eugenei, right, >> or Jack because they need money, too, because their father's been kicked off. the, you know, property. >> They're they're Prince Andrew's kids. She is. >> Mhm. >> Wow. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. I guess it was. it was a series. It was like an animated. series that she was pitching that got. that got killed. >> Yes. >> That's what I'm thinking of. Maybe it. was based on the book. I don't know. But. it was a kids series. And. >> it's called Pearl. >> Yes. Thank you. >> Yes. And it was supposed to be based on.
her childhood, but it turned out she was. heavily borrowing, one might say, from. pre-existing intellectual property. >> Ask Martha Stewart what that's like. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. That's all they do is just grift. Like they try to be Wills and Kate. They. try to be Martha Stewart. >> Uh they try to be Oprah. >> Yes. >> And here she's trying to be whoseever. book that was. I'm just like I'm so over. them. But yeah, their their latest act. continues in the UK and nobody is buying. it. Now, next up, we have got to discuss.
something I learned about on the nerve. and you should listen to Moren's show. It's out now that raises. some bad facts about Carrie Russell. I'm. just going to have to say it. I love. Carrie Russell and Matthew Ree of the. Americans or did. And I love her not at. all after hearing the sound bites you. played on the nerve. She is an open. leftist First of all, she went. on with Chelsea Handler, who's a. nightmare, and ripped Trump as the man.
who can who may not be named. Was like, "All right, this is so trit. I mean, please, like, you're paying your dues.". To Chelsea Handler, first of all, that's. where you sit. And then every other word. was like something crass. >> or vulgar, >> you know? It's like she completely. knocked herself down several pedestals. And then the bit about how she finds her. friends. I was like, "You've got to be. kidding me." I hadn't seen this. I did. hear the headline about all the sex she. and Matthew Reese had, and I was like,
"All right, that's a little much, but. whatever. Where is it? Let's see." Um, can you guys find it? The one Oh, here. it is. Way over here. >> Carrie Russell sat. Yeah. 51. Let's play. it. >> Uh, my you know, my They're like, I. don't know. They're coders. One friend's. a coder, one friend is uh friends, one they all do all sorts of stuff. And. so I met. >> some of them through school like my kids. school, you know, you're like in first.
grade and you see the moms that are like. also wearing Vans and like not wearing. like have Chanel bags and you're like, "Oh, the Vans mom. That's that's that's. my people." Yeah. The one that looks. like she hasn't brushed her teeth yet. They're like, "Who are you?" You know? Okay. Can I just say first of all, I was. at those schools, those very same. schools for years. >> And the the the mo the most elite school. you could be at.
>> No, nobody dresses like that. There is. not a Chanel mother. That actually is. not a thing. >> That's a caricature of New York moms. Most New York moms are understated. >> I don't know how it is in LA. Uh but in. New York, most of the moms are very. understated. that they're actually not. intent on flaunting their wealth outside. of these amazing institutions. They're. understated. But she's got to be kidding. us that she somehow is choose the Chanel. bag that this is somehow very offensive. to us. So just to start, I'm completely.
with you. I loved her, too. I thought. she was one of those rare people who are. in Hollywood but not of it, you know, and she sort of seemed interesting like. she took a break after Felicity, moved. to New York, took a few years off, like. had a life. her projects are. interesting. When she's not promoting a. film, you never see her or a show. Um, and then I saw that and I just thought, "Wow, that's like first of all, it's. completely hypocritical." Like, you. know, you have to remind yourself these.
people are actors. They act. She's been. acting since she was a kid. There may. not be a real person in there, you know, but to say like, "Oh, the Vans mom, the. mom who wears the cool hipster sneakers, that's my tribe, not the mom who carries. Chanel." You know, two weeks ago, Carrie. was at the Louis Vuitton spring summer. 2007 fashion show as an invited guest in. PA at Paris Fashion Week, dressed by the. house, by the way, trotted out her. 13-year-old daughter, who we're seeing. here for the first time, makes a point.
of stopping her daughter in front of the. world's media to adjust her collar. And. again, like I said on the nerve, we are. like a couple of weeks out from Presley. Gerber. When will these people stop. parading their children around like this. like accessories? But again, like. Carrie, if you're the cool Brooklyn Vans. mom, what are you doing accepting an. invitation from Louis Vuitton? >> I thought we hated fancy handbags and. What do you mean they're designers. all that stuff? >> Oh, so is is it the problem that the.
bags are Chanel and not Louis Vuitton? Maybe that's her secret. I don't know. because she also said she um she doesn't. understand people who wear pearls. >> like like and I'm like I wear pearls. every day and I I don't take it. personally. I don't think she knows who. I am. But like it's like what are you. doing? Like why why like I felt like. with Chelsea who I find odious for many. reasons and has a reputation in the. industry as a real mean girl. A really. really mean miserable. You can see it. It's all over her face. It is. I felt. like Ch I felt like Carrie was trying to.
like in her mind sort of get herself to. whatever level of cool she thinks. Chelsea is and like I'll be I I'll I'll. I'll curse and I'll talk about sex and. I'll talk about like bad personal. height. Like I don't get what's going on. there. I don't Oh, my other theory is I. do think there's something to the um. >> the Matthew Reese stuff. you know, forgetting her. >> I heard you saying that you thought it. was, you know, honest. And I I I. >> And also, it's a curse, though.
>> It is a curse. But he had not. >> Everybody who who fails to do it winds. up divorced. >> Hillary Swank. >> There there's a long list. >> There's a long list. And um where is. where's he been? Why wasn't he with her. at Paris Fashion Week? Why hasn't he. been on the red carpet with her? She's. been rolling out the Diplomat season 4. She was by his side the whole time he. was like campaigning for that at those. two Emmys which he won. Like where is. he? >> I don't know. But you lose them how you. get them. >> It's so true. And that's the thing that. bothered me about her sex disclosure on. Chelsea, which was like she was married.
at the time. >> I know they want to tell us. Oh, it it. ended right before the affair started. >> Those things always the timing always. works out just that cleanly. >> Just that cleanly. And it's not just. that her ex-husband has to hear that, but he is the father of her two older. children, right? >> One one is 19 and at college and the. other is the 13-year-old daughter. So, they're gonna go to school and hear all. about their mom on Chelsea's Sex Podcast. talking about how they were in. there. That's her line. Yes, we have. >> That's her words. >> I think we have it. Yeah. Here it is.
53. >> The show The Diplomat. First of all, The. Americans was We didn't give it enough. credit or justice, time, and respect. because that show was awesome. What you guys did on that show was so. awesome. Like, so much fun. It looked. like it was so fun. And also we were. like falling in love and staying up all. night and like having sex all the time. and just like wearing disguises. [laughter] like I crazy wigs and. like wearing pearls. When have you ever. worn pearls? And like in. trailers and fight everywhere. I mean it. was insanity. It was so fun and sneaky.
and sexy and so good. >> Who made the first move with the two of. you? >> Oh, that's a good question. You know, I. think I did. >> I love that. >> Yeah. Nice. >> Nice. I heard you on the nerve ripping on the. random third person. [laughter] I love. that. >> Who just pops in from nowhere with. comments and questions? [laughter]. >> Or sometimes she's just sitting there. like like kind of just looking up and. like smiling like kind of like inanely.
and. >> there she is. [laughter] Who is this. person? Chelsea's for I would say for in. Hollywood and I use this phrase in the. way which was intended in the 70s. >> that in Hollywood would be Chelsea's. special needs friend. >> Yeah. >> She's not photogenic. She's not stylish. She's not wearing makeup. And she's not. particularly witty or additive to the. conversation. >> That's why Chelsea will be friends with. her. >> She's there. >> because the truly insecure people never. want to surround themselves with anybody. who is as good better looking than they. are.
>> So yeah. Yeah. So that woman comes out, but it was crass and it was vulgar and. it was so unnecessary. Why Why would you. be We all know that the relationship. started as an infidelity. You were. cheating on your husband. They deny it. She says the separation, I don't believe. her. I I think clearly there was. overlap. Um and so like it's hard to. root for that. Like okay, I get it. Maybe you married the wrong person and. you found somebody who's better. It. happens. Stop c I'm not going to celebrate how. sneaky your sex was when there was a.
family that you were about to leave. >> Yeah. Her ex-husband has never said a. thing. I wonder if he signed an ironclad. NDA. But the other thing. >> or has big alimony check. >> Exactly. Big alimony check. The other. thing is though that is your workplace. sister. I'm sure the crew was thrilled. that that trailer was rocking and. rolling every five minutes. I'm sure. whoever had to clean her trailer and his. trailer was thrilled that they were. getting it on every five. You know what. I mean? Like have some sense of like. what you're doing, you know? >> Class, what? What? I mean, if you want. class, you don't go on with Chelsea.
Handler. >> 100%. >> And plus, it's just so like the. leftwing, they'll go on a podcast like. that. It's it's fine. That won't cost. her a single role. God forbid they ever. came on a right-wing podcast or mine is. an independent podcast that leans right. That's what my sensibilities are. She. would never. I mean, we've had a lot of. big celebrities come on here, but she. would never do that because in her. world, that would be a sin for which you. couldn't be forgiven. But you can go on. the most hateful. Chelsea Handler is. disgusting. She is so hateful. She said. the nastiest things about everybody on.
the right. She's had to apologize a. bunch of times. That no problem. And. because she's got she rips on Trump. Um. she's telegraphing that she's a leftist. to everybody. And then she talks about. her playful sex with the hottest guy in. Hollywood at the moment, Matthew Reese. Right. >> Right. Like let everybody know like I'm. his and I. >> That's exactly what's going on here. I. think there's a little bit of excuse my. language but territorial pissing like. whatever else he may or may not be. getting up to. She's trying like like. Megan Markle on the receiving line. He's.
mine. He's mine. >> Mhm. It It was desperate and it was me. It was sad. Yeah. All right. Let's talk. about uh the Kelly Clarkson. story. [laughter]. So, the audience knows the story by now, but for those who don't, just quickly, she went down to a Brooklyn uh store. called Art of Play, right? And uh she. wanted to buy this $15,000 bird that was. on the wall. And I don't know, it was. like an a robot bird, you called it. >> Um they said, "No, this one's not for.
sale, but you can get a twin for $15,000. from the guy who made this one, or we. can get you one to take home today for. two grand." That's like a lesser. imitation. and she claims they spoke to. her as though she, you know, was a. nobody like like in the scene in Pretty. Woman. She stormed out and anybody. who thinks that she doesn't like small. businesses cuz she was shopping in a. small business. Okay, so I really. thought it was a pathetic thing for her. to do the long tweet storm about them. If I g told you the number of times I. have been slighted by store, you know,
keepers in Manhattan or Brooklyn, we'd. be here all day because I'm recognizable. as a figure on the right wing and they. hate us. >> So they don't care that you want to go. into a store and spend x amount of. dollars like that. The money doesn't. >> No. >> Wow. >> No. Oh, I've been treated terribly by so. many different store proprietors and. people on the left. What? It's fine. You. you you shrug it off and you move on. with your life. Who cares? I I don't. give a what they think about me. Okay, I'm not for them. I'm not. everybody's taste, [laughter] but I I'm.
enough people's taste that it's fine, you know? Like, I can make a living. My. people understand me, and these other. people, somebody put put this on. Twitter, and I retweeted it the other. day. X. >> um don't waste time arguing with people. who are determined to misunderstand you. >> It's great advice. And anyway, that I. would never go and like start tweeting. about the shopkeeper, you know, like. grow up. Be be a woman. Um, stop com. complaining about every small person who. doesn't like you. A lot of people don't. like you. If you become a public figure.
especially, they don't like you and a. [clears throat] lot of people do. Grow. up. But now this store owner is really. enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. So, let's first look at the video. I'm going. to get to him in a second. The video has. been released and here it is. Pablo. Torres finds out. Got his hands on the. video. He's the one who broke it. The. Daily Mail has it, too. Let's watch it. >> She appears to be browsing. She's now at. a shelf. She's picked something up. >> She gets the attention.
>> Play by play like she's a terrorist. >> Aformentioned shopkeeper in question. This is the dude that she referenced, >> called an idiot, said that he was. treating her like Julie Robert's. character and Pretty Woman. You see. Kelly Clarkson pointing. >> Yeah, she's pointing at Molly as she. looks at the shopkeeper. And the. shopkeeper is kind of nodding and and. it's like he's telling her something and. she's looking at it and looking back at. him and is I guess trying to confirm.
something. It looks like. >> the whole interaction lasts seconds and. she goes off into the corner. The. shopkeeper. goes in the other direction. Now. >> she turns around and he's now talking to. another customer. >> And what happens next with Miss Clarkson. at the door? She's clasping her hands. She heads to. the exit. She turns around and seems to. be saying something to the person behind. the cash register. There's a lot of.
gesticulating and she's walked out and. he's seems to be gesturing to the bird. >> Yeah. >> She doesn't seem to want to hear. whatever he has to say. [laughter]. >> Okay. I I know what we're going to need. to analyze this proper properly. >> Yes, >> I I think it's a martini. >> I couldn't agree with you more, >> Duggar. Thank you so much, Doug. >> Doug is here. >> Thank you. >> He's providing the martinis. Thank you. so much, babe.
>> You're welcome. These are made with. love. >> Yes, he's he's an amazing mixologist and. uh by special request. Thank you, honey. >> Cheers. >> Cheers, babe. Great to have you here. Always the most fun. Dr. Sean, sorry, but I have to do it. Oh, that is so [laughter] good. >> It's so good. He's. >> such a good mixologist. >> He is so good at making these. Like, I. don't know. Like, I maybe I just will. surrender and become an alcoholic. They're so good. I could live on that. >> Hey, life's short. You You've done so. well so far.
>> My mom's 85 and she always says, "If I. make it to 90, this is all I'm doing." I. love it. And I don't want to hear a word. about it. [laughter] Mom, you got it. U. Okay. So, Kelly Clarkson is. very angry. You can see before she. leaves, >> she gives him the business at the door. >> Oh, yeah. >> Now, I can't imagine actually doing. that. Like shouting at somebody or like. scolding them from the door of the. facility. >> That's what you've got this for. >> Yes. >> You do IT FROM HERE. >> EXACTLY. [laughter]. BEHIND MY MIC and then you go about your. day. >> But I do know like I don't punch down.
>> Mhm. >> I do know that rule and you learn it the. hard way. >> Yes. Yes. >> Don't punch down. Like there a lot of. people who are. >> not as wellknown, not as successful are. going to take shots at you and just. ignore them. Like it's it's just just. ignore them. >> Yes, >> she this is where she really went wrong. She she punched down and stores as you. know in Manhattan and and the five. burrows of New York have been struggling. ever since that terrible mayor. Bill Delasio turned us into one giant. Starbucks in City Bank. And so it's not. great to do something to however I mean.
like. Lawrence Olivier is apparently. [laughter]. running this store because this guy is. acting about his trauma. Steve, play the. one you think embodies it most. I don't. know. There's so many to look at. >> We are afraid for the safety of our. shopkeepers. Kelly Clarkson has put us. in danger. Not just are people showing. up in [laughter] person, but our.
neighbors are getting doxed and review. bombed. People are getting threatened on. the street. And the worst part is. I we didn't know this was going to. happen, but Kelly Clarkson did. This is. an insane misunderstanding. Like. nothing happened in this shop to justify. her scolding our shopkeeper on the way. out. But I could let that go. You know, everybody has a bad day. If it is this. intense to be merely mentioned by Kelly.
Clarkson, I can only imagine how intense. it is to be Kelly Clarkson every single. day. But things changed when she used. her platform to attack us. It's just. it's asymmetrical social warfare. [laughter]. >> He's loving every minute of it. >> The only thing missing from that clip. was um he also mentioned that he had. rushed back from having cancer surgery. Oh yeah. >> Skin cancer surgery on his face. And I. have had the same exact skin surgery. I.
can tell you because you it's. undetectable. You go into the office, you leave like 20 minutes later and you. go about your life. It's like nothing. ever happened to you. Sir, >> I did say on the nerve that I had I. lived [clears throat] in Brooklyn for. decades. I lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which was ground zero for. breeding ground for this type of. hipster, which is insufferable. NFAL. and I I do like I think there are no. winners in this scenario but I do. believe as we examine this year's.
Zaprruder film of or pop cultural Zruder. uh nobody acted well here. She she said. in her first social media post that that. shop guy elevator eyed her and I believe. it. I believe he looked her up and down. and was like you're not our kind. >> She looked like a homeless person. >> I called her like a Dutch painter boy. Oh, that made me laugh out loud when you. said that. [laughter]. >> May I come paint the side of your house? You've got some chips on the side and. I'll do it for 20 bucks. >> It is a What is she dressing like? >> I don't know. Yellow is tough. It's.
tough to pull off, I have to say. I'll. wear it sometimes on the show, but. limited limited basis. And the baseball. cap uh. >> and the backpack and the baggy blue. pants. >> Do you don't you know who I am? No. >> No, not at all. and and it just so I. don't even know that they recognized. her, but then I'm sure she felt like. they were denying her the bird on the. wall with the price tag because she. wasn't cool enough to buy it. I think. that's what got like because her.
response is so outsized. As you said, if. you go into a store and they're like, "We're not going to we're not going to. allow you to patronize us, you're lost. You're I'll take my business elsewhere.". Happy to. Happy to. Honestly, if you. trust me on this, if you are on the. right wing, you have had somebody do. something like this to you, especially. if you live in a blue city or a blue. town or a blue state like I do. I mean, I was 17 years on the Upper West Side. with babies in Fox News onesies. [laughter] Like, I man, the Navy Seals.
have nothing on me, Moren. Nothing. [laughter]. [gasps] So, it's like you're going to. take your licks. I She's I think just. used to being universally beloved and. adored. And for once, she was treated. just like anybody else. It's not for. sale. >> The answer is no. And she couldn't take. it. And we actually did a little look. into Kelly Clarkson's. >> fortune. And it's considerable. We got. You got to look at some of this woman's. homes, okay? They're like beautiful. They're stunning. I don't know. Do we.
have the videos of them? Because they're. like over-the-top nice. Hold on a. second. I'm going to show you some of. them. Um, and she's got tons of money. and I think that makes her think. >> she's special, you know, that she. deserves to be treated better than the. average person. There's um, okay, the. Daily Mail had a piece on her sprawling. homes from her 17.8 million Montana. ranchow to her California mansions. There was a um, first there was her. Texas home, almost 7,000 square ft, 14.
acres, four bedrooms, two bedrooms, two. bedroom suites, a theater, a gym. She. expanded it to surround the holdings by. assembling more than 60 additional. acres. The main estate boasts a pond, two pools, a treehouse, and dog runs. Eventually, she sold the 14 acre piece. of it for millions. Then Nashville 2007. She bought her Tennessee portfolio. $. 1.5 million house about 5,000 ft, five. bedrooms, six bathrooms. She had it for. four years before she sold it for 1.2.
million. so on. 275. acre farm in Tennessee. 275 acres. Uh a. fishing lake. It also comes with its own. cottage, a large barn, etc. She sold it. for 3 million in 2020. The Tennessee. mansion with its own cowboy bar. Moren. Uh this is her most dropping tennis drop. jaw-dropping Tennessee purchase in 2013. A waterfront estate in Hendersonville. for approximately 2.86 million. two. 20,000 square feet on more than four.
acres, seven bedrooms up to 11 baths. An. $ 8.5 million California farmhouse in. 2018. A customuilt farmhouse style. mansion in Anino for 8.5 million. 10,000. square ft, eight bedrooms, 11 baths. The. Montana Ranch 2019 final purchase price. never disclosed, but it's known as. Warren Peak Ranch. Marketed for around. $10 million, spans roughly 5700 acres. What court documents put the value at. nearly 18 million with Blackstock that's.
her ex. >> who just who died I think ultimately. receiving um some some portion of that. Okay. And then finally there's the 5.45. million colonial uh in Tuca Lake which. is a gated colonial style estate built. in 1936 renovated in ' 85 but 5,000. square feet. Okay, this is my point. an. enormous. enormous life of privilege. >> Yes. >> What the Take your insult and move.
on with your beautiful life instead of. now headlining the Daily Mail as the new. Ellen. Oh, this is the best part to come. out of it. First of all, when you were. going through the list of her. properties, she may have more properties. than Taylor Swift, >> right? Who is now a self-made. billionaire. I don't even think Taylor. So Kelly's net worth has got to be. astronomical. Astronomical. >> And you're right. She's never she It's.
been a long time since she's heard the. word no. >> That's it. That's it. She She couldn't. believe she she was told no. But now. this is this is what happens. Now the. mask has slipped. You're not really. America's wholesome girl next door, Kelly Clarkson, who everybody just. loves. >> You blew it. >> You blew it. And part of it, I wonder. too, may have to do with I think she's. on a GLP1. She lost finally a lot of. weight. She had struggled her whole life. clearly. >> that may be messing with her mind as it. tends to. It does. >> like her weight loss and her new sexy. body. >> No, like the medication like it it does.
have neurologic like they're not even. sure exactly why, but. >> um Yes. And now the Daily Mail Yeah. Yes. She always struggled. >> Um she's had some face work done. It. seems like some really good work. >> But um yeah, the Daily Mail is reporting. that that her staff is like, "Yeah, she's kind of the new Ellen. like she. was a diva behind the scenes. She. wouldn't even allow celebrity guests to. get near her unless they were on camera. >> and she had a security guard next to. her, which is not how you treat stars.
coming through your talk show. >> No. No. >> I mean, I had I had a few stars come. through in my two minutes as a talk show. host. And yeah, you don't you don't. insult them by pretending you need to be. protected from them. >> Um, >> Robert Redford and Jane Fonda came on in. it. I remember that particularly well. seen segment. >> I remember that one. I actually I loved. Robert Redford even more during that. segment because he was just sort of like. I'm staying out of this. >> He was a doll. Um now I have a I have a.
weird story about I also had skin cancer. on the face one time. Oh, did you? >> Yeah. Right here on my temple. You can't. see it at all. Can't tell. know, but. this is right, speaking of NBC, after my. um [snorts] unfortunate departure and I. was all over the news and I then found. out I had skin cancer. So, I was like, "Oh, great." But it was a basil cell. It's like whatever. Okay. You know, that's. >> not to diminish anybody's scare, but. like if you catch that early, it's a. it's a nothing. >> basil cell. It's nothing. They just cut.
it out and you're done. >> It's nothing breaker, but it was on my. face. So, I decided to go have the MO. procedure. But then I decided to have a. plastic surgeon stitch it up. Oh, smart. >> It was on my face. You know what I mean? Whatever. I'm in the business. So, >> okay. So, here's what happened. I was. going over to I I went to the MO. surgeon. He took off the thing and then. I had like a bandage, you know, they put. a big band because the plastic surgeon. was across town. >> Okay. >> This is when I was still in Manhattan. And I had to go across town with this. bandage on my face. And this was at a.
time when the paparazzi was following me. because everybody wanted a picture of. like sad me having been booted from NBC. What am I doing? You know, whatever. And. um. the So I get to I get Oh, so there's a. paparazzi following me. Okay. They're. following me from one place to the. other. I'm like, "Oh god, this is now. they're going to try to get a picture of. me walking into a plastic surgeon's. office. They're going to think I'm. getting plastic surgery.". >> Mhm. And um long story short, we called.
the office to say, "Is there another. entrance way I can come through?" And. they were like, "No, but we'll have a. guard out there for you." The guard. comes out holding a huge umbrella, which. caused only more attention to come to. it. It was the winter. It was the. beginning of December. There was no need. for an umbrella. There was no snow. There was nothing. The paparazzi came. He followed me. Just as I got into like. the entrance way, he threw himself down. on the ground, was taking pictures down. there like I was like, "Oh god.". And uh I I was getting I guess. technically plastic surgery. It was a. stitching up of my Moe's procedure and I.
waited for the article to hit and do you. know what they actually went with? >> What? >> That I was going into I guess Random. House was in the same business, same. building and they were like she's. selling a book. >> Oh, that's amazing. I love that. >> Isn't that hilarious? >> I love that. >> True story. >> I did have Mo surgery. So, mine was on. um the side of my nose and it was really. really small. And I went to a a guy here. in New York City. My dermatologist at. the time recommended him. I loved him.
because he was like you went into his. office and um it was like every. major thing he had done like he had been. like a battlefield surgeon in like the. Middle East. >> Oh. >> So like he he knew how to. >> fix people up like on the fly like. MacGyver style. So, I was like, "This. guy's going to make it make it perfect.". But I bet like you when I emerged from. the office and I I had this bandage on. my face for about two weeks. He did the. stitch up and you can't even tell it was. there. It looked like I I I was like I.
look like I got like caught by like a. stray bullet in like a nightclub. shooting engineered by like Puffy or. Jay-Z, you know, just like a little. stray shot because the head bleeds so. much. It's It always looks worse than it. is. And I I would say like one thing I. did not do was go out to the cameras. that were trying to catch me and say, "Please don't write anything negative. about me in my departure from NBC. because I'm a cancer survivor. [laughter] You could have, but you. didn't." And that's a plus in your. column. I mean, that kind of stuff I. actually, you know, I'm laughing at it,
but I also really do find it an affront. to people who have are really fighting. cancer. Well, I think his might have. been melanoma or at least he s I think I. heard that which is definitely way more. serious but still like just stop like. don't don't he's been milking this every. day. He had a presser you know like. >> I love the presser who has a presser. >> So the other thing that's slowly coming. to light about these guys this operation. out in Brooklyn is that they're all. millionaires.
>> Oh really? Yeah. >> People who own this shop. >> Yeah. Like he wrote a ch a children's. book. That guy, the unwashed hipster, wrote a children's book that was. apparently very popular. The two other. co-owners, I believe, are siblings whose. parents have like millions of dollars. I. mean, it makes sense if you think about. it because if you have to make your. monthly rent, >> no, you can't. >> Wouldn't you be like a pop star walked. in and wants to buy this $15,000 silly. bird on the wall? Buy the bird at full. price. You're not even going to haggle. with me. That's my monthly rent. >> Give her the bird. >> Give her the bird.
>> Give her the damn bird. Um, Moren, I. regret to tell you there is breaking. news about our favorite press secretary. >> She's out. >> That was fast. >> Yeah, it didn't [laughter] take long at. all. I mean, I would say validating our. earlier discussion about. >> I think so. >> where this was going. And here is Trump. speaking to it, right? Is it Trump? Who. is it? Is it Trump, you guys? Yep, it's. Trump. >> Katie's been treated very badly by the. media. Very, very badly. very unfairly,
I think. And I just spoke to her about. it. I said, "Katie, is this for you?". Because, you know, she's been treated. very rough. And and she's a nice person, very nice person. I've watched her for. years on television. But I said, "Is. this for you, Katy?" Because honestly, you don't need this. You don't have to. be treated. The I would say the fake. news, but just generally the media has. been very rough. She was on Sean Hannity. last night and Sean was a little bit. tough and she did I saw Fox and Friends.
this morning. They were a little tough. She's been treated uh I would say pretty. nastily. And I said to Katie just two. minutes ago I said Katie you know you. don't have to do this if you don't want. She said this is a lot tougher. I said. welcome to the world of Trump. I'm going to let her make that decision. uh she's out and there is um in addition. to that a senior White House official.
tells Peter Ducey Katy Zakaria Zakaria. is quote transitioning out of the press. secretary position so it's done which. we're not surprised about. I mean it's. like as I said Hannity and Fox and. Friends would not have done that to her. if it didn't have Trump's blessing. This is the kind of stuff I love to see. where he stands there and he says, "You. know, the media was really hard on her.". Sean was really he was rough on her last. time. He calls attention to it. >> Like he they weren't talking like, "Okay, this is what you're going to do. This is what you're going to say.".
>> And then I'm going to throw you under. the bus just a little bit. Just a little. bit. Just like it's it's a tiny nub of. the wheel. >> You know, Hannity's known for his tough. questions of conservatives who are in. trouble. Like come on. And I love. Hannity. Don't get don't get me wrong. Like he's the sweetheart, but there's. there is zero chance he didn't. coordinate with Trump before that hit. Zero. and Fox and Friends, too. And I I. love I adore those guys. Um, but they. they know what they're doing and uh so. yeah. Okay, so that's fine. So, we are. rooting for her as a person and but the. the stint is the press secretary. Was it.
shorter than Sean Spicer? Steve, can you. look that up? Was it? I don't know. I. think it was. Oh, well, Scaramucci. wasn't press secretary, right? He was. comm's director, was he? Yeah. This is. way This is way shorter than Spicer. This might be the record. Okay. Well, look, she seems like a sweet gal. And I. think there may be um like when God. closes the door, he opens a window. She's got four kids. We're very young. >> There's a reason Caroline Levit left. that position, which she was so great at. and she knew that.
>> She had a second baby and they're little. and they need their mom. So, she went. home to be with them. And I think this. this could be God. I think uh Katie is a. God-fearing woman. This could be God. telling her there are maybe other ways. to serve the Trump administration. This. one isn't it. And she'll get points for. being loyal, but they should find. somebody who is a much stronger talker. and sharper communicator. >> Andy Cohen may be calling. >> Oh, >> she can. Reality TV awaits. I think. >> special forces on Fox. Something like.
that. >> Don't pick up that call, Katie. Don't do. it. How about you, Moren? Do you want to. do it? >> Do what? >> Be the press secretary. >> Oh, god. That is a thankless job. I. wouldn't want it. I think you have to. have I don't I don't know what kind of. like resting heart rate you would have. to have, [laughter] you know, to go in. there and like really do battle. It is. so contentious, you know. So, that job. would never be for me. And and a job, too, that's like everybody who's had it, it's it's you can only do it for so. long. Like, you there's no you can't.
really you're never going to settle into. it. It's a short stint by nature. >> I would say truly the goat of press. secretaries was Tony Snow. I don't know. if you remember him under George W. Bush. >> He worked at Fox. >> Oh, really? >> He got colon cancer and died. >> Oh, I remember this. Yeah. >> It was so sad. But he left Fox to go do. um and he anchored Fox News Sunday to go. be the press secretary. >> He was just so good at it. And no. offense to anybody who's come after.
because we've had some some good ones, but he was the best. He was just. substantive. He could stay on point. He. never got out of bounds. Whatever you. asked him, >> this is how I I I always think like how. would I do the job? This is how I would. do it. I would never get out of bounds. I would stay right where you put me and. I would answer it substantively and be. as combative as the situation demanded. Or not or not. A lot of them are. gimmies. That's how he was. He was so.
smart. No one there could outsmart him. Um it was such a tragedy. It was so sad. when we lost him. um he was super nice. guy and just amazing and like set the. standard, but no one's been able to. match that. Like with all due respect to. the those who followed, there have been. some with Flash, there have been some. who are more combative, but there's. never been anybody who is both as smart. and substantive and able to do combat. handtoand in that room as Tony Snow. >> You know, I feel the same way about Tim. Russard. I feel like Sunday morning.
television, those political shows have. never been the same. And and none of. them learned from him, you know, and he. was such a master at it. And he was sort. of like a joyful warrior, you know, and. um I always I I felt so bad when he died. because like that that was the run-up to. the 2008 election and you could tell, you know, he sort of had that kind of. like New York Irish like Daniel Patrick. Moahan leaning, right? like not out of. his mind, but you know, and and you you.
could tell like he he was so excited to. see the the potential of a first black. president and he died before that. happened. And and then Sunday morning. television has since been awful, terrible. >> It's it's all but irrelevant. >> Yeah, it really is. >> It's not completely irrelevant. We play. sound bites from it from time to time, but it's not mustsea TV like it was when. Russer was hosting Meet the Press. I. mean, obviously Meet the Press is not. like that at all. Yeah. >> I mean, Kristen Walker's fine, but she's. she doesn't have it. She's like, >> "No, she's there's nothing compelling.
there.". >> No, it was Chuck Todd before her. He. didn't have it. >> Um Chris Wallace did a nice job on Fox. of anchoring Fox News Sunday. Like he. was. >> he was Tim Russard without the charm. >> Yes. >> You know, with all due respect to Chris. Wallace, who I've criticized many times. on the show, but the truth is I like. Chris Wallace. Like I I you know, it's. my job to rip on people when they. deserve the ripping, but I have no. personal animist toward him. And I have. a lot of fond memories of him too during. my time at Fox. >> Some not so fun, but some a lot of great.
ones. A net fond. >> And um he was great. He was very tough. on both sides, but didn't have the thing. that made you feel really warm about him. like Russert did. Like the guy from. Buffalo who like. >> you knew grew up like the super snowy. winters for nine months and like treged. through the snowy fields to go to school. for years and years and was humbled in a. way that would never allow his shoulders. or head to get too big. >> Yes. Yes. who always I always felt when. he was behind that desk was like.
speaking for the working person watching. that show catching up on the news, right? Not having the time. They don't. live in it the way we do. And um talking. speaking for for those of us, right? you. know, and like and and like no. you know, like he would always and when. someone would evade a question, he would. like a prosecutor, he would ask it three. times and after politely somehow. >> politely politely, but like also. telegraphing like you're trying to get. one over on me. >> All right, stand by. We're going to take. a quick break, but we are obviously.

Washington politicians are always. getting in your wallet, and now they're. messing with your credit card. They say. your credit card and the security it. offers are under attack and that.
senators Dick Durban and Roger Marshall. want to change the nation's payment. system to benefit corporate mega stores. like Walmart and Target at the expense. of everyday Americans. Credit cards can. keep your payments secure and provide. rewards that families use to help make. everyday purchases more affordable. The. Electronic Payments Coalition says the. Durban Marshall mandates would let. corporate mega stores cut corners on. credit card processing, on routing. transactions over cheaper, untested. networks with weaker security and fewer.
protections. Find out more for yourself. at guardyoucard.com. and consider telling Congress to guard. your card. Welcome back to the MK show. Moren is. still here. We're just having very funny. stories behind the scenes. I'll tell you. guys this story one day, but not today. Um, okay. This is another story that I. saw on the nerve that we must discuss, and it is, why is Ryan Serest. so nude and so thirsty for attention?
This is sad. So, he decided on October. 3rd to show a shirtless photo of himself. looking up at the sky during a bike. ride. Let's look at it. um with a. caption. This is what a day off looks. like from start to finish. Well, wait a. minute. This is just the a video. I'm. looking for the naked photo. Um where. he's like got his pants down to like his.
ass crack and he's showing you his There. it look. Look at this. How desperate is. he? For the listening audience. Okay, he's ripped. He's got like an eight. pack. Who cares? He looks so on fire. gay. Like, I'm sorry. Not there's. anything wrong with being gay, but he. tells us he's not gay. And this is like. as good as coming out as you can get. You're laughing. Come on. He looks so. gay. No straight man would do this. >> Well, no straight man would be that. waxed. >> No. >> Like completely waxed.
>> No. >> This lower this pelvic bone thing. >> Slang word for that that are whatever I. won't say. But um you know, it's. interesting. So, and the and the the. full on the full body spray tan like the. completely evened out and then the the. carved out. I'm sure that's body makeup. augmenting what's carved out there. Now, he is in his what mid-50s? >> Yes. >> So, I find this pursuit sad for a. gentleman in their mid-50s who also like. has whatever I'm not particularly a fan.
of his, but like he has built a really. impressive empire for himself. works incredibly hard and I would think. that there would be a mind in there that. might have more preoccupation than this. We just did a piece interestingly on. Monday on Sylvester Stallone who gave a. great interview to the New York Times. >> Yeah. >> And he spoke about at the height of his. phys his physical peak, the Rocky Rambo. era, that he developed bulimia.
and he had like 2.4% 4% body fat. And he. he he fell into what he called body. worship. And he said, "The only way I. could do that was with steroids. No. other way." And anyone who tells you, even if it's a man, it's diet and. exercise. That's not true. And he said, "I can see it a mile away." I'm like, >> "By the way, Ryan Serest is saying. that.". >> I mean, Ryan, we all know better now. We. all know. You know, >> there's no way he's not on a GLP1.
>> There's no way. And like when you see. him now, >> just my opinion, as you would say, >> right? Just my opinion as well. Like his. face, he was a good-looking guy. A. little bit too vanilla for my taste, but. good-looking. But now he's gaunt like. like his cheeks are hollowed out. Like. he looks like he's starving. >> Yes, he needs like definitely needs a. hamburger. I could give him one cuz I. have nothing but red meat in my diet now. in ferments. Um, this is not approved. Sean Omera is going to be very. disappointed. Sean, I had to do it. Moren is here. But no, I I agree. it.
it's too much. And like there's there's. a bunch of nonsense uh on his alleged. diet and exercise routine. He told. Entertainment Tonight he's um he's. eating better. He's overtraining, lots. of recovery, lots of muscle recovery, cold plunging and steaming. Okay, I cold. plunge. I steam. I sauna. I that that. doesn't cause that. It doesn't cause. that. And by the way, someone like Ryan.
Serest who is working 14 to 16 hours a. day. And why do we have this video? Okay, look at the lighting. >> He put it out. Look at this with the. closeup. This is like some sexual. surrogate video. Look, look at. [laughter] this. He's like pulling the. big weight in between his legs. This is. like, is he looking for a date or what? Apparently, this is his trainer who puts. out these videos of Ryan. Obviously, with Ryan's blessing, this is what. ruined Chris Lick's career. Look at. this. Look at this with the legs open. the V the V open like a woman having. sex.
>> I you know this is like relatedly to me. to the it's it's I don't understand. this. This is full-on body worship. But. again he he is not in my opinion telling. the truth. You cannot work 14 to 16. hours a day and then have the time and. energy to do that. That is a full-time. profession. If you're maintaining that. body and according to sliced alone, you're still doing it with the help of. drugs. It's a full that's that's your. full-time job. >> Yes. It was like the first time I ever. went to Miami. Doug when we first. started dating was living in Palm Beach.
and he took me to Miami and uh everyone. had such a ripped bod and I remember. saying, "Does anyone work here? [laughter]. Does anyone have an actual job? Can't. possibly be this ripped with this little. body fat. >> and and still have a job. Look at this. Look at this. Moren, [laughter]. >> what is that? >> It's a It's a coming out party. That's. what it is. [laughter]. WHAT STRAIGHT man would ever allow that. image to go out over the national.
airwaves? >> Let your freak freak flag fly. >> Yes. 51. Nothing wrong with that. Not that. there's anything wrong with that. >> There's not that not that we're stating. anything but our opinion. >> Well, and plus like honestly, he's. hosting Wheel of Fortune now. Aren't we. past the point where people would judge. a a gay Wheel of Fortune host? Like, who. cares? No one cares about gayness. anymore. >> Oh my god. The best the best game show. host going and it's a reality game show. is Alan on the Traders. >> Oh, really? >> Which if you haven't seen is really.
really fun and it started as a Peacock. show but it was such a smash NBC has. moved it over to like late night. >> I love him in the movie Emma. >> He's incredible. I love him. Yes, he was. great. And um he really leans into like. the camp of it and like every every. every set scene he's got like a. different costume and he's won Emmys for. it because he he enjoys it and he's just. being himself but like a heightened. version of himself, you know. All right. What's it called? >> Yeah, it's it's called Traders. Okay.
>> Traders. >> Can I tell you Doug and I just watched I. think it was six parts. For some reason we got on this stint of. foreign. series. >> Mhm. First it started with the agency. which now there's an English version of. that people are watching right now about. the CIA here but that the agency was. based on the first version be that came. before it which is French which is named. the agency in French. I don't speak. French and it was very good and I it. only had captions. It didn't have voice.
over which I have to say is harder. >> You know you have to keep your eyes open. and we're all tired and getting old. So. it's like at the end of the night you're. kind of tired. you want to drift off for. like a few minutes, then come back and. you can if you have voices, whatever. It. was very well done. I really enjoyed it. >> So then we got drunk on our own wine and. doubled down on foreign films or. whatever. And we went for this Norwegian. series about a guy, it was very Nancy. Guthrieesque, okay? >> A guy whose wife was allegedly.
kidnapped. It's based on a true story. Allegedly kidnapped. And the kidnappers. in a note asked the asked the husband, "Don't involve the police and don't tell. the media." Okay? >> And so for the first like several weeks, six weeks to couple months, the media. wasn't told and wasn't reporting on it. And then they were told and then they. were agreeing not to report on it for. this woman's safety. >> And they were involving the police, but. the police were kind of keeping it quiet. for this reason. And then it morphs. into, wait a minute, did he kill her?
>> Have we like fallen into a trap here? So, I'm so in. I'm like, "This is. great." Now, and now this is all in. Norwegian, except it has both captions. and voice over. I would tell you what. the name of it is, but I cannot I don't. know. It's a bunch of Norwegian words. that I can't repeat. Scored. >> Is it on Netflix? >> It ends in scored. I don't know. Who. knows? You know, it's like, >> is Doug running this whole operation? [laughter]. >> Okay, but listen, here's the reason why. it's not important. Because I'm gonna. give you a spoiler alert right now. We. were into it. We're like, did she get.
kidnapped or did he kill her? Like, what. happened? And then there's a split. between the police department and the. press who one one faction thinks one. thing, one faction thinks another. And. it ends, again, spoiler alert, with the. lead detective, who have we we've been. following for six episodes where. somebody says, "What happened?" And she. said, "I have no idea." Wow. >> It ended on that because it's based on a. true story and it hasn't been solved. You know what that reminds me of? The.
staircase. >> I'm so mad, Moren. This is such. I invested invested hours and. hours of my life on this. >> Well, do you have a theory of the case? >> No, I don't know. They needed to wrap it. up for me. I wasn't like that involved. Like, you have to tell me what happened. [laughter] I like. >> No, but it's like the staircase. Have. you seen that. >> staircase? Oh, he did it. >> He shoved the first wife down the. staircase in Germany. >> Oh, definitely. Definitely. >> So, what are the odds that the second. wife just tumbled down on her own? >> But if So, there's two versions of it. and both are incredible. the the.
documentary, right, which which um. introduces the German victim, I think, later, right? So, it's a nice plot. twist. And then the HBO series. adaptation with Colin FTH and Tony. Colette, >> and they reenact the the Bird Theory. >> Oh, yeah. >> Do you remember that? Which is. incredible. It was incredible, >> but also a lie. >> Also a lie. It's also if you if you're. in a foreign film thing right now or. series, also if you haven't seen Anatomy. of a Fall. >> Oh, >> I recommend that. Now, you may not like. that because it doesn't end it with a.
bow. You have to have your own theory of. the case. >> Oh, Steve Cracker I was endorsing as. well in my year. >> Incredible. It's it's it's about a. famous author, a woman, her husband or. partner, and they have a small boy. They. have a fight. He goes off the balcony and dies. >> Did she do it? >> Oh, >> and it's French. It's set in France. And. it's you, the lawyer and you will be. fascinated because I didn't know the. French criminal justice system worked. this way. There's like a panel of judges. who hear the case. Oh, it's not one.
judge. >> I've seen that depicted in some other. movie. Gosh, I can't. [sighs and gasps]. >> Oh, it's on the tip of my tongue. I did. see that depicted in another movie. Whatever. It doesn't matter. Okay, I'm. I'm into it. Anatomy of a Fall. >> Anatomy of a Fall. >> You know what? Doug and I recently. started re-watching. >> Mad Men. >> Oh, it's a great great one. >> So good. It's brilliant. >> I I started re-watching it and then I. looped Doug in. But it's so good. I. mean, I know John Ham is a sociopath, but such a great role.
>> I [laughter] think he was born for that. role. He was perfect in that role. I I. loved him, and I I was so disappointed. when I learned like the truth about his. nature, but as far as like actual. television, it's just it's incredible. I'll never forget the episode. You won't be surprised by this, but they. the episode they do on the day that. Kennedy was assassinated. >> Yeah. No, I saw it. I I I saw it. recently. >> You did? >> Yeah. So, so good. And that's that scene. where it's um I don't know if it's if. it's John Ham's character, Don Draper or.
someone else who walks into the office. and the phones are dead. >> Like the phones aren't ringing. >> Yes. >> And that's the sign that something. catastrophic has happened. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Pre- internet, right? >> Oh, wait, wait, I misunderstood. I I saw. recently the one where Kennedy is. elected over Nixon, not where Kennedy. go. I'm not quite there yet. >> Okay. >> Yeah. the day that Kennedy is elected, they all expected Nixon to win, >> right? >> Like it was a tight election and then he. had some friends in Chicago do some. favors for him and put Kennedy over the.
top. The more things change, the more. they stay the same. >> All right, let's keep going because. there's other things we need to get to. Speaking of thirsty, unattractive people. on camera, Lena Dunham. Okay, [laughter]. the show Girls is getting a reboot. And. to announce it, they did this weird fake. Zoom call between her and Zosa Mamemoth. and Allison Williams, the daughter of. Brian Williams, the two other stars of.
that show. Adam Driver is apparently not. Oh, great catch. >> Yeah, not going to be a part of it. Um, here's the weird fake soundbite. Uh, Zoom call 34. >> Hi, Leans. >> Hi. Sorry if you've been waiting a long. time. No, like what? 15 16ish. minutes. >> Hi guys. Josh, >> I got another [laughter] big. >> Do you hear me? I'm just going to find a.
lighter. Okay. >> She should be permanently muted. >> Um, yeah. What did you want to ask us, Lance? >> Okay. So, we used to spend like every. summer together, you know, doing this. thing that we do, making the show. And. is it is it something that you would. want to do again? Are you are you free. next summer? So, I mean, as long as it's. not too much of a commitment. I'm not. doing like a year. >> Yeah. Summer, one summer's worth. >> I can't tell what I'm hearing right now. So, I'm just going to ask. Are you in? >> I'm in. >> I'm in. >> I'm in. >> What's up, ladies? >> Hi.
>> What are we doing next summer? >> Girls, would you want to do girls again. next summer? >> I'm in, but only cuz you trash cans need. constant supervision. >> I have a question, though. Seriously, can we still call it girls? Cuz we're. like old as. Okay. I expect the nerve to go all in on. this the way you did on the se Sex in. the City reboot. >> Oh, we're as a fairy godmother and am. and requesting this. >> Consider it granted. It were No, I said.
to Marina, our producer, the other day, I was like, "This is our new hate watch. for 2027." Yeah, we'll be doing it. weekly. >> Lena Dunham has become a rectangle. [laughter]. >> Here's what struck me about that. like. when you when she showed up and you. went, "Whoa." And I I I had the same. initial reaction is that she's so filthy. looking. Again, it's that sub genus, that Brooklyn hipster that we just saw. outside Art of Play. Her hair is greasy. Her lenses are foggy and greasy. She.
looks like she hasn't brushed her teeth. She's slovenly. Like, why? It's just And. >> am I wrong? >> No. It's this is this what what I find. disturbing about her because there are. people who do struggle legitimately with. like psychological issues, medical. issues and I I I you know they that's. that's terrible. I think that Lena is. very psychologically damaged very and I. think her she considers her her body. part of her art. She's telling us that.
there's something fundamentally. profoundly wrong with her. >> Yeah, >> she is. It's why we all kind of are like. wait what's going on here? Why are you. presenting this way? >> Who needs a reboot of this series? This. is the series I I've told the audience. this before. Doug and I watched a few. episodes of this and then we saw an. episode where Lena Dunham's character. and Lena Dunham herself was playing. Pinkpong naked. I remember this episode.
And Doug was like, "I'm out. >> I'm out." [laughter]. >> Patrick Wilson, that was the episode. where she was showing. She was still. effable even though she's not a. traditionally attractive gal. And she. cast Patrick Wilson, who's a. traditionally good-looking guy, as like. this guy who couldn't stop himself from. having sex with this creature all. weekend long. >> and playing nude pingpong. It was. >> too much. Now, Adam Driver is the only. one who's gone on to really do something. really big out of that. I mean, that the. Allison Williams character starred in.
the movie Megan, which I'm familiar with. because my kids love horror. Yeah. >> And it had my name, so we went to see. it. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. >> By the way, I'm totally going to see the. Elizabeth Holmes documentary like this. weekend. I may go see it tomorrow night. >> See that very. >> I cannot wait to see that. We'll talk. all about it next week. But anyway, so I. did see so she hasn't really done that. much. Zosa Mamemoth, she hasn't really. done much. Adam Driver became a big. star. Played Kylo Ren. Yeah. Like among. many other roles. Um he doesn't want.
anything to do with this. and apparently. didn't end well between Adam Driver and. Lena Dunham who like was accusing him of. inappropriate behavior on the set like. sure okay in the pages of her book right. >> in the pages of her most recent memoir. said he threw things at the wall you. know and like was was kind of stringing. her along potentially romantically it's. like why would he have anything to do. with her. >> oh my god his brand is so much bigger. than hers now like he. >> wasn't he nominated for an Oscar for a.
marriage story with Scarlett Johansson. >> probably he's very well respected now. He's a great actor. She was lucky to. find him and cast him in that show. Um. but I just wonder like uh he's a he's. had two Oscar nominations, he tells me. Um. >> but I wonder whether there's an appetite. for this, you know, like what what do. you think Lena Dunham brings to the. conversation in 2027 America? >> Nothing. Nothing other than I am a freak. show. >> Yeah. >> And I wasn't I wasn't all that surprised. to see this reboot, which by the way is.
like five episodes. It's not like even. an entire series. >> Oh, that's like Megan Markle's second. series of As ever. >> Exactly. [laughter] Because everything. Lena Dunham has tried since Girls has. failed to launch. She's done any number. of independent films. They have all. flopped. The book is one thing, but like. there is not an appetite, for lack of a. better term, for Lena Dunham culturally. >> Bad. I see how you sneak that in there. >> That was that was just circumstantial. I. didn't [laughter] mean it that way. I.
did not. >> You're a writer at heart. It just comes. to you. Um, all right. Now, Shane Gillis. is in the news for making a joke, which. is absolutely true, >> that women sometimes dress like. at the gym. Everyone wants to change it. to he said women are which is. not what he said. He said women's women. are dressing like horrors now at the. gym, which they totally are. Makes all. of us uncomfortable. Cover up. I don't. want to look at your vag. [laughter]. That's for you and your boyfriend, sister. Like, why do I want to look at. that? They obviously want us all looking. at them and then they posted a little.
Instagram video being like, "Oh, he was. looking at me." Well, then show up with. clothes. [laughter] Stop it. Okay, so. now the the shrapnel. >> around Shane Gillis is landing on other. men like Travis Kelce who liked. >> a tweet that had the monologue in it. I. mean, who knows what part of it he was. liking, >> right? >> Whatever. Who cares? But he's now taking. a beating and they're re-upping. like old.
clips of Travis Kelce saying things that. the left-wing mob, these feminite Nazis, find offensive, like here he is in sat. 18. >> What is your least favorite word? No. Probably a common one, huh? >> No, I haven't heard that. What turns you. on? >> No. [laughter]. I'm kidding. That was creepy.
>> Okay, whatever. Now they're very angry. >> Mhm. >> That he's not respecting No. >> As opposed to like he's on a stupid. podcast. He's trying to make a clever. turn of phrase. This is the best he can. do. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [laughter]. >> Like, [gasps]. >> hello. >> And then let me show you this, Moren. >> So, is it Michael Sheay? Is that how you. pronounce that? C H E. >> Chay, I think. Chay. Yeah. Okay. >> So, he goes on the Today Show and this. is just this week. This is yesterday.
>> And apparently there's a new person on. the Today Show I've never heard of. before named Laura Jarrett who is. absolutely terrible. awful. And. look at her try to talk. I guess he was. on SNL that night. >> Mhm. >> That same night as Jane Gillis. >> He's always on. As you can see, I don't. watch SNL. [laughter] Okay. He's always. on. Okay. Forgive me, Michael. I I stay. away from NBC. Um, well, he So, he got. goes on on the Today Show. This that. makes it even worse. So, he's on NBC and.
he goes on another NBC property, the. Today Show, and this idiot, Laura. Jarrett, paints him like he is Shane. Gillis, which is would be fine, by the. way. There's nothing wrong with what. Shane Gillis did. But she, >> look how she treats him and tries to. like, aha, I've got you. >> In every question she asks him, she is. horrid. watch. >> In all seriousness, how are you thinking. about what happened this week with. Shane's opening monologue? You've seen. the push back. >> No. Again, it's it that's comedy. It's. like um you think it's funny and then.
and then some people don't. >> Did you laugh at what he said? >> I was at Qards actually thinking about. what I was going to say that was going. to make people upset. So, I wasn't. really I didn't even see it till like. >> the next day. >> And you thought, >> oh, she's horrid. I didn't think about. it honestly. I think it just didn't it. just was like. >> you know. >> if you if you had seen it ahead of time. because the writers get to see the. opening monologue right ahead of time.
they get to see the drafts I assume. >> if you're not working it's there's so. much going on you really it's really. hard to. >> really hard to see what everyone's doing. you know especially like if like for me. I'm not what they call good at my job so. I don't pay attention to. Okay, she is an. >> Every question would was designed to. hurt him, >> to set him up to say something. controversial. >> and he was too clever for her.
>> to [clears throat] his credit. He he. just kept getting out of dodge, which. good for him because. >> he he why why feed the beast. >> How is this his problem, >> right? He he does the weekend update. Why is Do you want to ask somebody about. this? Ask Lauren Michaels. Okay. I was. reading. >> or stop cashing your check. >> Yeah. Like I was reading the LA Times. piece of coverage of this and this is. the third time apparently Lauren. Michaels has had him on the show hosting. the show. They hired him in 2019. They. were forced to fire him over like.
resurfaced tweets. Yeah. And when did. comedy have to start being polite? You. know, when did like the days of George. Carlin and Richard Prior and even Eddie. Murphy like it's supposed to shock you a. little bit and offend you a little bit. And this is this is awful. And so Lauren. Michaels just goes apparently he's got a. place in Maine and he just runs off to. Maine when stuff like this happens and. lets it blow over. But like Michael Chay. is at least being like you can see he's. like surprised there. The Today Show is. not a cultural court of litigation. You.
go on the Today Show to get gladanded. and you know whatever. >> Yes. A certain male gesture comes to. mind. That's what you expect there. >> Yes. How how is this his responsibility. whatever your name is? >> No one's ever heard of her. I had no. idea that this was even the Today Show. when I first saw Oh my god. You know who. it is? Who? It's Valerie Jarrett's. daughter. >> Stop it. [laughter] Stop. It's like they. only hire the Nepo babies. Jenna Bush. Hager. Laura Jarrett. Yeah, Laura. Jarrett. That makes what a. nightmare that girl was.
>> That explains the lack of charisma and. edge humor. >> You laughed. I saw the ENDS OF YOUR. MOUTH TURN UP. >> WELL, weren't you weren't you on Aren't. you at rehearsals? Like, what is he. supposed to do? Ring the fire alarm. >> I know. >> You know, you don't think. >> sexist joke. >> You use the word hor. You don't think. worse goes on at those SNL parties, those after parties, the drugs. Stop. Stop. >> She's cashing the check just like Jenna. Bush Hager who purported to be outraged. by the joke, too. You're so outraged.
What? Why don't you give back the check? That's blood money. Do something about. it. Don't just sit in your little purse. and try to make others look bad. Actually, put your money where your. mouth is. No, they won't. No, >> because it's too important to them. They. just want to virtue signal. That's it. with their little weird cabal. Meanwhile, Cesaly Strong, who became a. star on SNL, >> she's played, you know, tons of famous. characters. She's played me. I've met. her. She was very nice. But this is. what she just did. She did.
>> Um, this is back when the left loved me. >> All right. >> Yeah. You You know, during that period. Uh, so I have nothing against her. personally, but she came out and posted. something in response to the Shane. Gillis controversy being like, "I'm on. my way to my gym. Maybe I'll stop by and. do some sex work on the way, you know, with like a picture of her." All right, just stop. Shane Gillis said nothing. This is her in a rainbow socks about all. women like whatever. Some women dress. appropriately, like apparently Cesaly in.
her rainbow socks, and some women dress. like hoes. That's life. That's America. Deal with it. But instead, she decided. to pile on and dump on Shane Gillis, which is so up. So, she's decided. to go out there and and be like the. champion of women. So, we decided to. look back to see, is she a champion of. women? Let she like portray them in the. most favorable light at all times. because she wants to make sure no. negative stereotypes are perpetuated. Let's check in on Soundbite 14.
Hi, we aren't porn stars [music]. anymore. I'm Breckie and you can too. [laughter]. And we aren't porn stars anymore. But. that doesn't mean that we don't have a. taste for the finest. >> Did somebody say, "Should you let the. dogs out?". [laughter]. >> One time I got banged in the Statue of. Liberty's head. I felt like I was.
hearing all of America's thoughts and. America was thinking more Emanuel. Blondic would please. >> I don't have a butt anymore. >> I got banged in it so hard the doctors. had to amputate. [laughter]. >> I woke up surgery like what the heck? [laughter]. I thought I got banged into a solar.
eclipse, but I was really just locked in. a trunk looking through the keyhole. [applause]. I was like, either way, oh, wait a minute. I thought we weren't. supposed to make fun of women's looks or. women at all. We were all about female. empowerment. Uh, I guess the rules are. different when you can get clicks. Yeah. What she tweeted was, "On my way to. Pilates in my new ass orange. shoes and rainbow socks." Uh, and then.
might as well sell sex on the way. Not. sure. She was there for 11 seasons, Moren. 11 seasons. And by the way, then. she said, "PS. There was a gang rape at. Cornell. That maybe won't count because. the New York law says if you consent to. drinking, you consent to all that. happens to you. Do I need a grape emoji. to post about this real thing that. happened?" So once again, the link. between his joke about women dressing. like at the gym. >> to the Cornell case,
>> which is absurd, >> and one more point, >> if she's so protective of women, >> where was she when all of this was. happening on SNL S? >> Good morning, guys. It's an honor to be. here today. Uh, for those of you who. don't know me yet, my father is Mike. Huckabe and my mother is a big southern. hamburger. And though I may be leaving. this job, I will not be ending my. mission. As I told my plastic surgeon,
the work is never done. While I look forward to what comes next, leaving is bittersweet. But the time has. come for me to turn in my badge, gun, lips, lashes, teeth, and forehead. >> As attorney general, Pam Bondi was, and. I don't say this often, terrible. It is a shame when somebody gets fired, but we should all get we should all be. glad that that freckle-fested dragon. lady is gone.
>> Well, I'm sure you're going to have. other opportunities. >> Yeah, you could work in sports. I mean, you already look like a woman's. basketball coach who got suspended for. pulling on a player's braid. >> You think so? >> Yeah. I I don't remember Cesaly Strong. speaking out about any of that. >> No. No. This is Cesaly Strong's problem. Like Lena Dunham, she's not been. relevant since leaving SNL. You know,
very few people who leave SNL go on to. big careers after that. They all think. it might happen for them, but it's few. and far between. >> It's been a long time. >> It's been a long time. So, for her to. like jump on this and like what she. posted is so virtue signaly, too, because she looked like you don't see. any skin. She's basically like, "Oh, I. have to do Sharia law now at the gym.". Like, please stop. Stop. [laughter]. Right. It is desperate. It's like, come. on. I like the amount the the women who.
are weighing in on this comment by Shane. Gillis as though it's obviously this. sexist offense that he has to be. condemned and canceled for. He's already. been condemned and canceled. Like how. many times can he cancel the same. person? They they asked him back on. notwithstanding the first cancellation. Um it's crossed to the point of. absurdity which brings me to Casey. Anthony. >> I couldn't believe this when I saw this. in the email today. Casey Anthony has. decided to weigh in on Shane Gillis and.
SNL. Women can dress however they want. This is from her Substack, which I'm. sure you're all subscribed to. Women in. the gym can dress however they want. Men. who have opinions about how women dress. need to all the way go themselves. This toxic masculinity trend needs to. end. These fragile men need to get out. of the way of women in totality. We do. not answer to you. We do not dress for. you. We do not need your useless. opinions. Choose men who are allies with.
women. She goes on to say, I Okay, this is somebody else's comment. about umah. It's about women. Let's go. Way to go, NBC. Let's bring on white supremacists. and known misogynists. He's also not. funny. And then she says, I have said. this too many times and I will repeat it. as many times as necessary. Conservatism. is literally killing people. >> That's Casey Anthony. >> You are the only one who has.
killed somebody, your own 2-year-old. So. right off. No one wants you in this. conversation. You murdered your. daughter. We all know it. Stay quiet and. perhaps we'll ignore you. Otherwise, we. don't want to see or hear from you at. all. The nerve of this to think. she can comment on anything in the. culture. It's shocking because, you know, had she not murdered her daughter, which. we all believe she did, uh, her daughter. would be living in this culture and.
could maybe tell us what she herself. thinks of these things now. You know. what I mean? The idea that like Casey. Anthony could hold herself up as some. sort of morally outraged feminist whose. voice we need in this. Is she. for real? A spokesperson on misogyny, women hatred. How what age women are you. defending? It doesn't seem like you love. the two-year-olds. Like, walk us through. it. Who who who are we allowed to hate. and not hate? Because I guess we can't. hate women who are of age to go to the. gym and dress like but if they're.
two, we can murder them. That's. cool. Like that. I'm just trying to get. your moral code straight. I wonder if. she was emboldened by the Lindsy. Clansancy trial. I wonder I wonder if. she feels some sort of sorority with. that. Like, you know, if you want to. talk about misogyny and like women in. the culture, Casey Anthony we all know. would never have gotten. nearly close to an acquitt had she not. be been a semi-attractive young white. woman. That's if she had been a poor. black woman, forget it. She'd be on.
death row. So, she could shut. her mouth. But I think she's been. emboldened by this Lindsay Clancy thing. I I think she has. >> That's actually a very good point. I. mean, not a week goes by that we don't. see another story about a mom killing. her children in the wake of Lindsay. Clancy. It's becoming like an epidemic. >> We're supposed to just ignore it like. they're not inspired by her, but we have. copycats now and it's sick. You know, this the whole thing is freaking sick.
All right, speaking of bad moms, uh. Halib Berry, >> I don't know if she's a bad mom or not. There's a dispute about whether she's a. bad mom. She is in like a death fight. with her exhusband who is is it Oliver. or Olivia? It's Olivier I think Martinez. who I think most of us only know from. the hot French guy in um the one with. Diane Lane and Richard. >> Oh my god, such a great movie. >> Uh.
>> Unfaithful. >> Unfaithful. Thank you. So good. >> By the way, when I went to see that, so. I was a young lawyer. We were trying a. case in Davenport, Iowa. We'd been out. there for months and that movie came out. and so our lead trial council was. looking to just take the team out for. like a night to blow off steam and have. fun. And you know, I don't I guess we. hadn't really fully researched it, [laughter]. >> uncomfortable viewing. sat. I remember sitting in this movie. theater in Davenport, Iowa with two. junior associates on my left and my.
right. Men, young men, and like. [laughter]. [gasps]. no one touched their popcorn, no one. touched their soda. It was like, [laughter and gasps] "Look straight. ahead and don't make eye contact with. anybody.". >> Oh my god, [laughter]. >> the scenes were so racy. It was like a. porno. >> It was such a good movie. It was so good. and so actually they I have a story. about where they shot it, but like it's. it's I love that movie and I love Diane. Lane in it. And speaking of.
>> what we've been talking about just like. >> I love the way Diane Lane is aging. I. love it. Gold. >> same 100%. And even in that movie they. made a comment about like how her ass is. still where it was in college. I love. that comment because A that's true for. Diane Lane in that movie cuz you do see. her naked and b I've thought about it. many times. as I hit my mid-50s. [laughter]. # goals not met. >> Who knows where it's at now, but she. she's aging with such class and. elegance. And I just I love it. I love.
that story about unfaithful like like. today. You could you could bring that to. HR and threaten some sort of like why. were you sandwiched between two men. watching a movie about a hot. extrammarital affair [laughter] with. multiple sex scenes? You know, >> probably all get sued today for taking. them there. I don't think No one was. complaining. >> No, I'm sure not. It was a great movie. >> Truly, it was like so awkward. It's like. watching something with your parents, you know, something sexy with your. parents. Like we're dying to show our. kids. My whole family loves uh. thrillers. We love watching thrillers.
together. All three kids and Doug and I. And of course, one of the greatest. thrillers of all time is Fatal. Attraction. >> But we can't show the kids that. [laughter]. >> the elevator scene. >> Oh, I. Yeah. Doug actually tried to sh He was. like, "How about Sliver?" I'm like, "No.". >> Oh, no. >> What? [laughter] How about Sliver? >> Watch Sliver, honey. We We did watch and. loved together, The Five of Us, Sleeping. with the Enemy. >> Oh, I remember seeing that in the movie. theater. >> And that guy who played her husband was.
amazing. He like fell off the face of. the earth, but he was great. I don't. know, but he was so good. >> He was terrifying. >> So terrifying. We love that one. And we. love And it's good for this time of. year. Um, what lies beneath? >> I've never seen it. Oh, Moren, you've. got to watch that. >> I'll do it this weekend. >> No, Harrison Ford. >> Oh, right, right. >> Michelle Feifer. Harrison Ford and the. woman who played the grown-up version of. Christina Crawford in Mommy Dearest, the.
blonde girl. Remember, you know, Mommy. Dearest, of course, right? >> I know who this is. >> And when she became the adult and she's. like. >> on the soap opera. >> Yes, on the soap opera. That girl is. she's in it. >> Diana Scarwood. >> for the win. >> I know. I know. I have a lot of useless. information rattling, but I did see like. when I was like I was raised in the. summers by HBO, right? >> So, I don't know about you, but like. they would play these movies on a loop. and I think I must have watched Mommy. Dearest One Summer like 80 times. >> Yes. Same. >> Yeah. Only now I've become like a sick.
person when it's on because I laugh cuz. it's so campy. It is campy. >> It's just campy. It's like And one time. we my kids were in the room and they. were like, "Why are you [laughter]. But like when she's chopping the rose. bushes, you have to laugh with all that. makeup on her face. >> The pond's cold cream. >> She's so angry and she's chopping the. rose bushes. I laugh every time. But. she's not hurting anyone in that scene. >> She's not hurting anyone. No, but it's a. it's a it's such a great movie. It could. if if it had just veered the other way, it could have been a real classic. But.
>> if that ruined her career her whole. career, >> she was just so she became known so much. for that role. >> It's such a shame, too, because she was. such a star. Fay Dunaway in Network. >> in network. And then like when you watch. Fay Dunaway in that movie with like. Sorry, I'm putting my on the table. She's got the legs the legs out like. this. >> Yes. >> In the bathing suit or the the bathing. suit and the robe with like the hair up. in the towel. You're like, "Oh my god,
that's Hollywood glamour right there.". >> It really is. She nails that. >> It really is. And she's playing such a. boss in network. like such an incred. like so ahead of her time but like mad. as hell and I'm not going to take it. anymore. >> Yes, but she had all that femininity. like the way she was costumed and like. these silks like they kept the femin it. was it's incredible. >> Three Days of the Condor. >> One of my all-time favorite films ever. >> Yes. Both of them like star power is.
like falling off of the page. >> Robert Redford in that movie is like you. can't take your eyes off of him in that. peacacoat. He's always running to a pay. phone. He's [laughter] got the peac coat. up like this and then the aviators on. and it's like I die for Robert Redford. in. >> Who is hotter, Robert Redford in The Way. We Were or Tom Cruz in Top Gun? >> Redford, no question. Easy. >> Easy. No question. >> Wow. Redford oozed sex. Tom, you look at. him on a screen and you're like. objectively this guy unconventionally.
beautiful. Like a face that like works. somehow. If you took this the parts off, >> maybe not so much. But I like when he's. doing like I love scenes, it's it's. difficult. I find like he doesn't ooze. sex to me. >> Yeah, I agree. Who would you rather be? Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman or. Jennifer Aniston and Friends. Julia. Roberts and Pretty Woman. She's got. bite. She She's not like a muing like.
I'm so cute. I'm like 35. Aren't I still. cute? No. like Jenn like Julia Roberts. is like formidable, you know, and like. has has street smarts and is going to. like figure it out like Yeah. Yeah. >> minus the prostitution. >> Um, okay. So, how about Christine Gnome. or Katie Zakaria? [laughter]. >> Neither. Neither is I do not shoot dogs. I love dogs as we know. And I like you. said you said barrel curls. I like that. alone like that. Like there's a deer in.
the headlights quality to Katie that I. just I. >> sympathies. RIP. [laughter]. >> RBG or Sandra Day? >> Oh, Sandra Day. >> Yeah. >> Oh, come on. Like a little girl looking. in the pages of Time magazine like the. first female Supreme Court justice. >> She was pretty. Sandra Day, no offense. to RBG, who was like she was a badass in. her own right. She wasn't my cup of tea. politically, but a badass in her own. right. But Sandra Day was always very. beautiful. She had it all. She had like. this beauty, sex appeal, a great family,
and then goes on to become the first. female Supreme Court justice. >> And what I admired about her, too. I. don't even know if I was really clocking. it at the time, but like there wasn't a. kind of like look at like agreed she. did. And like I I'm saying as a little. girl, like I I really looked up to her, but like there was no sort of like look. at all the boundaries I broken. She just. did it. She like she let her presence. make the statement, right? >> Yes. Yes. You know who is like the. biggest badass of them all though in. Hollywood? >> Katherine Heburn. >> Oh yeah.
>> I really admire her. >> What's your favorite Katherine Hepper. movie? >> Uh I mean I I came of age when on Golden. Pond was the biggest film that she was. in. You know, she was obviously before. our era. >> and I loved her in that. But I read her. autobiography. >> I need to read that. >> It's so good. It's me. It's called Me. >> and you have to wait for it if you can. get it on Amazon, but it it takes a. while to get there because it's out of. print. It's been out of print for a. while. But she. >> Doug was like, "Why are you reading. that?" Because it was so not timely and. not connected with anything. And I was.
like, >> "I just wanted to read a bio about like. a truly badass woman, you know, not this. fake badass that we see everywhere. today, but somebody who is like really a. a like she came up in a man's. world for sure. >> and didn't complain about it. She was. raised by a a very loving family, but. the dad, you know, I think I may have. told you this, like made them do trapeze. work over a gravel driveway. No, I. didn't know that. >> Yes. Yes. He wanted them to take risks, but she was a she got her leftist. credential. She went to Brimar, you.
know, she did all that stuff, >> but she just did not suffer fools, Moren. Like, she. >> she got bad reviews and she was like, "Oh, I I I thought I was wonderful. I I. guess they think I was horrible." Like, she was just a realist. She was the. opposite of these like virtue signaling. victim like women today who are looking. for their next crisis or like syndrome. that they don't actually have to make. themselves feel special. She would have. been horrified by what's happening with.
some young American women today. She was. all grit and I just really admire her. So, one of the most I I love a good. Hollywood memoir and um I'm reading and. I'm really savoring it. Gene Tierney is. one of my favorite movie stars of all. time. I think I've spoken to you about. Laura before, which is an incredible New. York City film noir that I know you. would love. >> You would love it. And um but Gene. Tierney, she was she was like uh Heburn.
in that she came from like I believe New. England, East Coast, wealthy family, best education, a face like nobody else. before. Like she was spotted by someone. who was like, "You're a movie star. You're a movie star.". >> And um she had her her memoir opens. She's um standing on the ledge of her. mother's apartment building in Midtown. Manhattan on the 15th floor and. wondering if she's going to jump. >> Oh wow. Uh-oh. And the defining moment. of Gene Tierney's life, the before and. the after during World War II, she was.
active in the war effort. She was. pregnant with her first child. She was. dying to become a mother. She goes to. this USO event, this war event. And um. she she meets a lot of people, shakes. hands, gives birth to this child with. such severe developmental delays that. the child has to go live in a home. Smash cut to like 15 years later. This. woman comes up to her and says, "Jean, I'm sure you don't remember me. I met. you at that war event and I had like.
reubella." And my doctor told me, "Don't. go out of the house, but I just had to. meet you." And it was that human. contact, the shaking of the hands that. infected her unborn baby and caused. those developmental delays. So Gene. Tyranny lived with this her entire It's. such an incredible story, but it's told. without self-pity. It's told without, you know, look at me and everything I've. survived. It's just it's it's a unique. Yes. without self-pity. It's such a.
difference from where we are today. >> Yes. >> She Katherine He writes in that book. about when her mom died and she was. close. The whole family was very close. Her brother died. her brother either. committed suicide or died in what looked. like a game of pretending to strangle. himself. It's this ambiguous weird. thing. It seems like he killed himself, but I don't know. He sounded very happy. and like. >> he he hanged himself like off the side. of the bed. It was very weird. But when. her mom died, she and she was close with. her mom. She writes about like I walked.
in the room, there she was. She was dead. and she was in the bed and like okay, we. got to support dad now. Like I'm not. saying you shouldn't mourn the people. who are in your family, but like it was. such the opposite attitude of what we. have today where it's like nothing bad. has to happen to you at all. You you can. just adopt other people's upset as your. own and ask people to feel sorry for. you. You know that you're so distressed. by the George Floyd thing you can't.
complete your law school exams at the. end of the year, which was a thing. like. it's now like borrowed sorrow. >> that people are latching on to. It's. just the opposite of strength and. resilience and what I think the tr the. true American spirit was. >> was based on like we we made that a term. based on real people and we're losing. it. >> Yes. And what's so so great about the. Stallone interview that I was mentioning. earlier is I had no idea his childhood.
was his childhood. I didn't know. anything about his childhood. >> Beyond abusive. Beyond abusive, Megan. And then they sent him to a home for. like they sent him to like a mental. institution for a week. And I mean, what? And and he says in the interview, I'm saying things I didn't even put in. the book because I don't want a pity. party. Like, oh, poor Sylvester. That's. not me. That's not him. And Rocky was. the outgrowth of that grit and that. determination that this does not define. me, you know, but but at 80 years old,
he's sitting there talking about giving. his father a a pivotal tiny role in. Rocky. He's ringing the bell, the. pivotal Apollo Creed fight, and his. father won't do it. He won't play ball. He's like with the scene. And. Sylvester says to himself, he says to. the interviewer, he says, um, I know I I. I I it shouldn't surprise me that he was. going to do that, but um, I said to. myself, I want to put him in this movie. because I just want him to love me for a. little bit. >> He says, just love me for a little bit.
>> You know, and he couldn't even get that. But he's also he's he's relaying like. these very human stories that speak to. everybody's inner child. Everybody's got. pain from being a child, right? >> Yes. Yes. And he's al he's saying I. survived it so can you right? I survived. it so can you. Not like those two like. Harry and Megan like. >> for me in my castle. >> I'll never be fulfilled you know. Okay. Okay. >> And honestly like again forgive me but. like I know Harry's mom died at a young.
age. I too was a teenager when I lost a. parent my dad. But like to make this the. defining feature of who you are, right? >> You know, to like this is the thing that. has to come up all the time is such a. loss. It's such a missed opportunity, such a sadness. And like how. disappointed Diana would be that he's. chosen to do that. How disappointed my. dad would be in me if I ever chose to do. that. >> Like that's that doesn't that that's. part of your story. It's not your story.
>> Yes. Yes. And you would think that I. think the healthy way to integrate it. would be if Harry were healthy, his. mother would want him to have a. wonderful life, a fulfilled, happy, joyful life, go forward and do that in. that's a that's honoring her legacy, right? >> Yes. >> But to to remain stunted and rageful and. resentful is is is not the greatest. testament. >> But you and I both know in a way that's. honoring her legacy, too. >> I know. I know. like we don't talk about. it because she died tragically and she's. this figure 36 years old like Marilyn.
like so many of the figures but Diana. was very very troubled. >> She was extremely troubled and I like. Wills is lucky he takes after his. father. >> Mhm. >> That's the truth. Like we can. >> admire her as an icon, a fashion icon, a. fascinating figure by any measure. >> as they all are. They're multi-layered. Like the most fascinating people are. multi-layered. They're not like perfect. figures. But, you know, Harry Harry's. got his mother's issues. That's obvious. And he married somebody with even more. issues than both of them.
>> Yeah. And I also think that William had. the benefit of being the older child. As. the older child, you are exposed to a. lot more. >> The younger children like they're. buffeted from it. You know, they don't. see as much or hear as much. Like I. definitely have memories that my brother. doesn't have. >> and somewhat vice versa. But as the. older, I think William probably. admitted to himself more about his. mother's faults than Harry probably. could. >> I'm going to start being a lot harder on. Thatcher. I think that's really what. >> Is that your takeaway?
>> Take [laughter] away. I got to really. put him through the the ringer. I want. him to wind up strong. [laughter]. >> We love you all. This turned into a. threehour extravaganza. Thank you so. much for listening. Please do go and. subscribe to The Nerve. you will thank. me and Moren. It's such a wonderful. program and I love you my dear friend. >> I love you, Megan. >> Thanks for being here. >> Thanks for having me. >> All right. Have a great weekend. We'll. see you guys all on Monday.
