I said to John Gruden, who's a, you. know, big celebrity, great coach, great. everything. He was a great player. in college. I said, "John, what are you. doing here?". I thought he was going to say, "I'm here. for you, sir. I have such respect for. you.". But he didn't say that. He said, "I'm. here for my teammate." I said, "Who's. your teammate?". He said, "It's John Hustead." I said, "What did you do? You play? Do you what.

you do?". He said, "No, no, he was, uh, on my football team.". I said, "Was he any good?" He was the. best player on the team. >> [cheering]. >> Oh. >> [applause]. >> Oh. So, you know, I know he's like. he's a guy, he's one of the most. respected men in Washington already. Already. And he hasn't been there that. long. You put in there temp and. he I said, "You got to stay. You got to.

stay." But one of the most respected. men. But I said to John Gruden, I said, "What do you mean he was a good player? He never talks about it." It's cuz. that's the way he is. He's unlike you, sir. True. Because if I had his football record, they would have thought I was Jim Brown. or somebody. I would have said, "I'M THE. GREATEST PLAYER.". NO, he was like a safety. And he had a record number of. interceptions, 17. He was an. all-American football player. I didn't.

know that about John. And today I watched him. I explained that a week ago. By the way, his poll numbers have gone through the. roof since I did. Ohio tends like. football, but no, he was an all-American. football player. And when John Gruden. said he was the best player in the team, and I think they were like a. championship team, a great team. But. I just watched him in the plane coming. in, ranting and raving. He's like become. a different man now that we find out he. was a great athlete. And you know, I.

have to say. So I was over I called him up last week. and he was talking. I'm standing right. over here as I do with candidates, etc. Cuz I'm making a lot of stops. But this. is I think about the only one I've made. two. That means I like Ohio. We have to. get Vivek. And we have to get John. Better to get them in and I think they. will. I think they're going to be a good. check. But I'm standing over here. And I don't do this with men very often. I started examining his body because I. didn't know he was a great athlete.

And I looked and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass and I looked at the. whole. And then I looked at his hands. Look at. his hands, he's got these. like claws. And I got it. You are a great athlete. I. didn't know that cuz he doesn't talk. about that. Congratulations. Now they. finally know. That was very good. And it was John Gruden that told me. that. We would have never known. And you made a great speech. He's.

He's a fantastic man. He's a very. respected guy and I want to just wish. everybody a very happy Columbus Day. They took it away from. really away from. Italian-Americans, and we said we're not. going to let that stand. And I said,

And I said, "Because of how well we did, I said, 'We got to do it again.'" And. that's bigger than. any of them. What we're doing is. amazing. What we've done with this. country, $21 trillion has been invested. In history, there's never been anything. like it for any country. Sherrod Brown's. daughter voted to rip down the 22-foot. statue of Christopher Columbus right in. the heart of the city. You know that. His daughter did that. I didn't know. until I came I I'm reading some stuff. I. said, "What's with the daughter?" The.

daughter ripped it down, and he was. totally in favor. And Sherrod Brown is. the candidate of the Marxist, the. Communist, the anti-American radicals. who want to tear down America's. heritage, and you threw him out because. he did so badly on inflation, the. border. He was here with the worst. border we've ever had. The economy The. economy was terrible, and everything. else. He was here during a very dark. period for our country, and he lost to a. guy named Bernie Moreno, who has been.

He happens to be of Italian. heritage, right? Slightly. Is it 100% or only 95%? What? About 95? 22 days from now Ohio is going to defeat. Republican majorities in the House and. the Senate up and down the line. And just look at what happened really.

do great. We have uh tremendous turnout, 48, 49% more. than when I don't run. So, I'm asking. everybody to pretend. Just pretend that. I'm on the ballot. Because in a way I am on the ballot cuz. they will try and destroy everything. we've done and the country has never. done. I had to take a little bit of a. veer. toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. because we could not let them have a. nuclear weapon. And so. >> [cheering].

And then we did a little stopover in. Iran, and there whole country is, let's. put it this way, they're never going to. have a nuclear weapon, and it's going to. end very soon. And as soon as it ends, your gasoline comes down. But remember, your prices, your gas.

prices are lower than when Biden was. president, and he didn't do anything. about Iran, the Islamic Republic of. Iran. Didn't do anything. You cannot let. the number one state sponsor of terror. have a nuclear weapon. And it was my. honor, and. we're beyond that. It will end very soon, and as soon as it. does, your other prices have all come. down because we inherited the worst. inflation in history from Biden, sleepy.

Joe. We inherited, and they're all. coming down, but oil is always the big. one. It's the big player, and oil is. going to be dropping like a rock. You. know, I was in Iowa, and uh making a speech just the day. before. I said to my guys, I got them. all in the room, all my cabinet, and I. said, "We have no choice. We have to do this. Uh Biden was afraid. Everybody I don't. want to go into all the names. They were. all Many presidents should have done. what we did. It would have been It would. have been easier, but it was pretty easy. for us because they right now they have. no navy, they have no air force, they. have no anti-aircraft, they have. the worst inflation of any country. anywhere in the world. They have no. money. They want to make a deal. They don't. know how to. They don't know how to. And I'll be. honest with the Russia and Ukraine, they.

want to make a deal, too. They don't. know how to. The hatred is very great. between the two leaders, but we're going. to get that deal done, too. Last. Last month, they lost 32,000 people, mostly soldiers, young, beautiful. soldiers lost. It's ridiculous, that. war. So, I think they're going to get it. done, finally. I settled eight wars. we're going to get it done. Early voting. in Ohio is underway now. It goes through. Sunday, November 1st. So, get out and. vote, and if you have to, you do it. November 3rd. I don't care how you do. it, but we have to vote. We have to go. So, the last time that Sherrod Brown and the. radical Democrats had power, they gave. us the worst inflation in American. history, the highest energy prices in.

American history. By the way, much. higher than it is now, and we We're artificially high. That's. going to drop like a rock. The worst. trade deficit in American history. They. allowed 25 million people to pour across. our borders from all over the world. They came from prisons. They were drug dealers. They were. rapists. They were murderers. 11,888. murderers, half of whom committed more. than one murder,

and they poured in here totally. unchecked, totally unvetted. And if they. win the midterms, they will do the exact. same thing again. They're already. talking about Sherrod Brown said 2 days. ago he wants to see open borders. He. wants to see men playing in women's. sports. When he comes out, senators don't do. that. You got Barrasso coming out. You. got one of the big One of the big shots. coming out. And John, you don't do that too often, do you? You do that for special people. It's very nice to have you, too, John. John Barrasso, senator. And if Democrats get the chance, they will immediately reopen our borders. and once again flood Ohio cities and. towns with migrants from the most. corrupt and dangerous places on the.

planet. Just look at what's happening in the. once-great state of. Minnesota. What a mess they have done. Somalia, wonderful, wonderful. And that Ilhan, somebody was asking me I. don't know what they're doing with it, but I can tell you this, she's a. disaster. She comes in from a country. without laws, without police, without. military, without All they do is shoot. each other. And she comes into our. country and she says, "I have a. constitutional right." Just days later, a few miles away, the FBI arrested a radicalized Somalian. who was planning to carry out an. ISIS-style terrorist attack at the Mall. of America, aiming to kill as many as.

possible, in his words. This is not what. we want in this country. We don't want. this in this What they have done. What they have done with Minnesota. and members of the Somalian community. have looted tens of billions of dollars. from Minnesota welfare programs. Acton, she is horrible. She's a She's a radical left lunatic.

We'll tax you to the day you die, force. you to work longer hours for less pay. They're going to put the inheritance. tax. You know, right now you don't have. an inheritance tax. We're not doing So, we don't have any. inheritance tax or estate tax on your. farm or your small business. So, if you. want to leave it to your child, if you. love your child, you can leave it. If you don't like your.

child, don't listen to me cuz it doesn't. matter what I just said. Does anybody in here not love their. child? Is there Somebody raised their hand. Is there anybody in here that would like. not to leave their estate to their. children because. if you don't want to do that, then what. I just said doesn't matter much. But if. you do, your children will. get your estate, get your farm, your. small business. They won't have to worry. about the taxpayer coming in and the.

bank coming in and loaning them the. money and taking the farm. And watching them suffer and ruin their. lives. They ruined their lives. And the. Democrats want to put that back on. These people are crazy. They're mean. They're mean. They'll raise your taxes so that foreign. thieves can pillage the state budget and. drive around in like in. in I call it Somalya land, not Somali. land, cuz actually it's a totally. different country. Some people like.

No. I'm. bringing the high prices down that they. caused. And if a guy like Sherrod Brown.

do it." Now, they picked me because I. was famous and I was successful, right? But, if I didn't do The Apprentice, "would I be president now?". I think yes. If I didn't do What do you think? If I. didn't do the That question is asked cuz. they blamed the people that put on the. show. They said, "You're the one that gave. him" No, it was a tremendous success, but that question's often asked, "If he. didn't do The Apprentice, do you think". I think so. You know, I don't know. say they got to know me because you're. in You're getting a lot of airtime, so. maybe they liked me. Who the hell knows? All I know is we do a good job. soared to the highest level in history. Remember when Barack Hussein Obama said. we're never going to manufacture again? We just set a record for exports. In. other words, we make a product by and we. it's a big record, too. And you haven't. seen anything. With these factories, we're building more factories and plants. right now. than at any time in our history. The. pharmaceutical business is building. hundreds of billions. Eli Lilly, Merck, Pfizer, hundreds of millions of plants.

in these in the country. The auto industry, the. I have to say our new word. What's the. word? Intelligence. It's not artificial anymore. It's super. intelligence. Super intelligence, and everybody likes. it. Elon likes it, everybody likes it. Everybody likes No, it's a much more. accurate word because it's not. artificial. It's real intelligence. It. may be too strong, actually, but it's. super intelligence. That's what it is.

It's a much better word, much more. descriptive word, but. less than 2 years ago. and every leader said this, but. the king of Saudi Arabia said to me. a short time ago, sir, your country was. dead. used to be. They're not powerful. anymore, but a very powerful country. And they should have been done long ago. by other presidents. Why did it have to. be me? planet. Now, climate change means it. could get warm, could get cold, could. rain, could snow, could anything can. happen. Climate change. These people are crazy. But it's 12 years and. to the best of my knowledge, I see a. packed house. I don't see Has anybody passed away? Has anybody passed away. from global warming? No, it's a con job. But think of it, 1900, 125 years, we have uh the lowest rate, murder rate, 125 years, despite the fact. that they allowed. some very bad people in, but we got them.

And the biggest thing may be certainly. financially, but maybe ever anyway, under my most favored nation agreements. on drug prices, we went from paying the. highest drug prices anywhere in the. world to now paying the You'll see it. very soon. Now paying the lowest drug prices with. price differences of 300, 400, 500, 600, and even 700%. >> [applause].

>> Never happened before. And to do that, I. had to get other countries to double and. triple the price, but I said, "If you. don't do it, I'm going to put tariffs on. you. It's going to be a lot worse.". They would say, "No, no, you cannot do. that." I said, "That's all right. Just. double your drug prices." So, what. happened is they doubled and tripled up, and we came all the way down. Nobody else could have done that. No, they didn't even try. Our other. presidents, they didn't even try. We went from the highest drug prices. anywhere in the world, sometimes 10.

times higher than. other countries, 10 times, to the lowest. prices. anywhere in the world, all because you. have a different president. All because you have a different. president. We abolished all discriminatory. diversity, equity, and inclusion. policies throughout the federal. government. >> [cheering]. >> We got critical race theory and. transgender insanity and mutilization.

These are the mutilization of your kids. You know, I talk about it all the time. Could you imagine 15, 20 years ago I'd. be up here talking, and I'm saying, "WE. WILL NOT. UTILIZE YOUR CHILDREN." People say, "What the hell's wrong with him?". The transgender mutilization of your. children, I have to talk about it. It's. a point because the demo You know, in. six states, they're crazy what they do. They take your kid away. They send them. him or her back. You don't even know.

what you're getting. It's the craziest thing. Minnesota is. one of those places, by the way. Now, think of it. Or. or allowing men. to play in women's sports. Which Can you. imagine if 15 years ago I said, "We will. not allow men to play in women's. sports." You'd say, "This guy's crazy. What a stupid thing to say.". But that's part of our thing. I'll tell. you, we have a. we have a problem, John. We have men to. We want. men to allow women to take their place.

at offensive tackle in the NFL. I don't. know. I'm not sure how that's going to work. out. It's not going to work out well. No, but. can you imagine. having to say it? If I said it 15, 20. years ago, maybe even 10 years ago about. men playing in women's sports. And we. will defend women. We are defending. women, by the way. What they're doing is. really demeaning to women.

And we made English the official. language of the United States of. America. And thanks to our Republican Congress, we delivered the largest ever investment. in the United States Armed Forces, over. $1 trillion. And frankly, I think we're. going to increase it a little bit. We're. going to look at these people here, these press. But they're nice guys. They're just the photographers. They're. very nice guys. We have a Pulitzer Prize. winner here. Couple of Pulitzer Prize winners.

Mr. President I'll end with this. People for the longest time said that we. could not restore the glory of this. great manufacturing state the state of. Ohio. And I want you to know that I just. looked this statistic up before I came. since you were restored as president of. the United States last year Ohio has. added 10,000. manufacturing jobs.

Many of them right here in eastern Ohio. and northeast Ohio and Mr. President you. helped bring this region back in this. state to prominence and I'll tell you. what we are going to do everything that. we can to win on November 3rd and you're. going to bring it home with us aren't. you? >> [cheering].

I'd put them up. Please show the polls. >> Okay. MAGA GOP on Trump in the 2024. election versus Kamala Harris, he got. 99% of the MAGA GOP vote. Perhaps. surprisingly, I might have thought it'd. be 100%, but it was 99%.

Compare that to his approval rating now. with the MAGA GOP. It's 98%. That is, there's been no real decline in MAGA. support. These folks say that they're. going to vote for congressional. Republicans come the midterm elections. Again, that's the 99% that Trump got. against Kamala Harris. Look now, in. terms of the congressional vote, 98% of. them say they're going to be voting for. House Republican candidates. So, that. support is actually really holding up. strong. It's really, really strong when.

it comes to MAGA GOP and the Republicans. holding on to that vote. >> [cheering]. >> This one. Okay. The president. Republicans most admire, it's Donald. Trump. This is a historic. comparison. A majority of Republicans. say 53% say he's the Republican. president they most admire. While. Reagan, who traditionally has won that,

Donald Trump nearly triples up on this. Reagan at just 18%, and then Abraham. Lincoln, who by most historic accounts. is the greatest president of all time, but Republicans say that the president. that they most admire by what is this is. this is this six, seven times as many, Donald John Trump at 53%, easily. crushing Abe Lincoln at 8%. And the Elon. poll showed that he was the greatest. president as well, Donald. >> He'll like this slide. He's going to. have it printed out on his desk. >> Thank you.
