Warning: Once You Hear This, Wicked Will Never Feel the Same Again!
Wicked and the Wizard of Oz had tried to. kill multiple people and no one says. anything. You can find old clips of the. Wizard of Oz when they're walking down. the yellow brick road and then off in. the distance you see a monkin who is. hanging himself. I'm not kidding. What? >> What? >> Judy Garland. They told her she had to. lose 12 lbs before she could even start. filming. She loses the 12 lbs and then. they put her on a strict diet of. cigarettes and pills. >> Cigarettes and pills. >> What? >> And black coffee. >> Ariana Grande shouldn't have played. diet. >> Really? You're about to catch a lot of.
backlash for that. >> There's a guy in the movie, his real. name is Ethan Slater, I think, and he. was married and his wife had just had a. baby. He goes to this film and him and. Ariana start having an affair. >> No way. >> All right, guys. Welcome back to another. episode of the LL podcast. Cash is a. girl. >> Well, wait. >> Bravo. >> Thank you. That was my first intro to. this podcast. Kenzie wanted to start the. podcast and Matt was right. She had one.
line prepared ONE. >> WHAT ELSE DID I NEED TO SAY? >> WELL, go ahead. Continue talking. >> Oh, hi. >> What? [laughter]. >> What else do you want me to say? You. don't normally keep talking. >> What do you mean? You make the podcast. >> Okay, fine. Cash, tell us why you look. like a girl and you're in a pink dress. with a wand. >> Can you give us a twirl real quick. before you do it? >> Uh, I will not be doing that. That is. sexualizing me and I'm not for that. But. what we are for today, >> we're sexualizing you. You're showing. your cleavages out. Hey, quiet piggies. [laughter]. >> Okay. Well, I didn't know that. Clearly,
you were looking. >> I'm going to say quiet piggy for a long. time. Get ready, guys. >> Quiet. >> Donald Trump taught me a new phrase. >> Quiet piggy. >> Uh, anyways, today we're going to be. talking about uh the lore and the drama. of everything to do with Wicked. >> Well, yes. Since you are dressed as. Glenda, can you please share. >> the glor and the drama since you. >> uh. >> seem to be the chosen one? >> Well, I'll be honest, >> I've never seen Wicked. [laughter]. >> Wait, you've never seen even the first?
>> No, he wouldn't watch it. >> That's a shame. It is movie. I don't. know what it's about. All I know is it's. about Wicked Evil Witch of the West. Little too much CGI, but. >> literally like I'm not even joking. I. >> Wait, Right. That's That's what it's. Wicked Evil Witch of the West. >> Wicked Evil It's like her um pre-sale. before she gets there. Yeah. You see, I. I went down both times last year when. the movie came out and this year because. actually it is November 21st when this. is being filmed, which means the movie. came out today. >> Really? And we're not going to watch it.
Uh I'm going to be seeing it this. weekend. >> Oh man, >> y'all might watch it after this before. the next podcast. Um, >> well, anyways, yeah, the Wicked movie. came out today and I have now sunken. back into the Wicked rabbit hole of all. the drama that is unfolded on the set of. Wicked. >> Yeah. Like I said, I've never seen the. movie and I actually have zero idea what. it's about besides there's a green. witch. That's all I know. >> All I. >> And Linda. Linda's also in it. >> Glinda. >> Ginda. >> Well, I don't know a lot about the.
>> It was Ginda and then she decided. >> we're going to we're going to get into. the lore. Sh. >> No, you're just quiet, Piggy. Listen. I'm not Linda. >> No, you are you were you were Ginda and. now you're Glenda. >> Not Linda. >> My name changed. >> Yeah. >> Mhm. Because. >> I'm in a name change era. [laughter]. >> Wait. I thought I was the princess. Linda. >> Glenda. >> Okay. [laughter] That is new. >> And she's not a princess. >> I'm going to get Let's get into the. episode. >> Hold on. You're telling me. We're. getting into the episode. You're not.
talking anymore. She's in the episode. WE'RE RECORDING THE EPISODE RIGHT NOW. >> NO, YOU'RE OFF ON a tangent. We're. supposed to be talking about the lore. and you're like the window. >> You shush me again, piggy. Piggy, you. look like a pig. Okay, >> be quiet. >> I thought the same thing. What? >> The pink really does just make you look. like a little piggy. >> Yeah. [laughter]. >> Okay. >> Hey, little piggy. Can you at least show. me the first step of the lore that. Ariana does? We're going to get into the lore, but. before that, we're going to figure out. what I am today. Do you know what I am? >> You're Glenda.
>> And what is Glenda? >> A witch. Yeah. >> Everyone knows this except for you. >> She just wants to be popular. >> Really? >> Yeah. Go ahead. Sing it. >> This looks nothing like a witch. >> That's your song. Sing your song. >> I'm going to be popular. [clears throat]. >> The proper boys. >> You talk to boys. >> Boys. Is that really her song? [laughter]. >> Wow. Wait. Actually, that's not her. song. >> Yes, it is. No, it's not. >> Yes, it is. You're making me look so. stupid, aren't you? >> No, I'm serious. That's her song. >> You're making yourself look stupid. I.
wanna be. >> I feel like that could be her song, [laughter] but I don't think it is. Wait, where where else would that be? I. want to be talk to boys. Talk to boys. >> Okay, you don't even know those words. >> Do you want the words? I'll give them to. you. >> Oh, what movie IS THAT FROM? >> IT'S FROM WICKED. >> NO, it's not. Y'all are trying. [laughter] to make me look stupid right. now. Dan, >> what movie is it from? >> Wicked. >> Is it actually? >> Yep. Oh, [laughter]. >> I don't know why I believe in that guy. >> Knows every word. So, if you guys want. one of our five exclusive Christmas.

What? >> You've seen Wicked? >> No, I don't. Something changed within. me. >> That's That's Tangle. No, C. >> No, >> no, it's not. >> And something's changed within me.
>> Wicked. >> Something is not the same. >> Yes. Through playing by the rules of. someone else's game. >> Yeah, she sings THAT IN THE TOWER. >> NO. >> YES, SHE DOES. >> Too late for. >> No, she doesn't. What do YOU THINK. RAPUNZEL SINGS [laughter] TOWER? >> OH MY GOSH. I WENT TO TOKYO Disneyland. and that's the song they were playing. >> No. No. >> Yes, they were. Keep singing it. >> No, you're thinking. >> Close My Eyes and I don't know. Sing. What did she say? It's time. No. No. You're right. And sing. And then he. goes.
>> And then she starts sweeping. What's the. What's that word? >> No. It's time to try defying. gravity. >> That's not Rapunzel. >> I don't know. Y'all might be wrong. >> You bring me down. >> You're thinking of You're thinking of. all at once. Everything. That's the one. you're thinking of. When the lanterns. are in the sky, >> everything is changing. The one she. sings in the tower is Pocahontas. >> Mother knows best. >> Okay, enough. >> Yes, enough. Quiet. >> I know best.
>> Yes. >> Listen, I want to see before we get deep. into the lore because we have a lot of. lore to unpack for you guys today. I I. want to see at least you give me the. Ariana Grande uh baton twirl that I saw. in Jimmy Fallon. >> Yeah. Did you guys see that? >> No. >> Wait, actually, y'all didn't see that. Oh my gosh. I got. >> Oh my gosh. I haven't seen it. >> Ariana Grande. She was like, "I'm going. to do my baton twirl." And everybody. thought she was cooking, but I mean, she's just doing this. >> Oh, my grandma taught me that when I was. like 10. >> Yeah, that's pretty cool.
>> Yeah, this is cool. Oh, >> that was that was actual talent for a. second. >> I wish I've seen that. I don't. >> scene is literally about Ariana Grande. having an affair with the Munchkin. That's what the Munchkin. >> Yeah. >> All right, I got the video here. Now, listen. Before we start hating on Ari. Grande, Ari Grande, PSA, we love you and. we're not mad at you, okay? We just uh. we just feel like this is something that. we would clap for like a 5-year-old for. doing and you're a full grown adult. >> Yeah, I did see it tell they were like, "Why is everybody glazing her like she's. a 5-year-old performing in the living.
room?". >> Look, it is it is kind of funny. >> Whoa. Why is she She is kind of cooking. >> She's going, >> "Wait, >> is she not just doing this?". >> Yes, she is. >> Look at He looks like someone's grandma. You look like a grandma that just got. out of bed. >> Mumu X Games mode. Yeah, look at you. >> Very impressive. >> Why are you sticking your hand out of. >> Everyone, that's who you are. >> She did. She She stuck her hand out. backwards. >> She got like tense with it.
>> Wait, listen to my Listen to my. shoulder. Listen to this. Listen to my. shoulder when I do this. >> You guys hear that? >> It's popping. Okay. Um, >> well, >> sorry, Ariana, but let's get into this. little listen listen. Ready? >> There's nothing there, huh? >> He can't hear it. >> Cash. >> Okay, never mind. >> You look so ridiculous. >> No, but I I'm with Kenzie. This is way. cooler. >> Can I just Wow. >> You like that? >> Yeah. [applause].
>> You like that? >> Yes. Okay. >> Oh, wait. Wait. I can hit you with this. one, too. >> Oh, >> now that seems like I'm doing something. magical, huh? >> Ariana was with a munchkin. >> What? Yeah. [laughter]. >> Say what? >> There's a whole lot to unpack. >> Wicked. The the whole Wizard of Oz. franchised is literally like cursed. Like literally detail. >> Wizard of Oz. Yes. That's what Wicked. is. >> It's like Yeah. It's like the prequel to. The Wizard of Oz. >> Oh. >> So, the Wizard of Oz was filmed in the. 1930s and Wicked is like the story line.
from before The Wizard of Oz. >> Was it the 30s? >> It was. It was like 19. >> No, it's old. >> It was 30s. I clicked on the Wizard of. the Odds the other day. >> Filmed I think. >> No, I clicked on the Wizard of Odds the. other day and it was on like Netflix or. Amazon Prime or something and I clicked. on it and I had no clue how old that. thing was and I couldn't get past the. first like 15 seconds I turned it off. >> Yeah. >> Did you guys. >> No, but the one you watched is not from. 1930s. You watched one that's probably. from like the ' 70s.
>> It was black and white. >> Yeah. >> Yes. >> No, it was Do you have you seen Wizard. of Oz? >> Yes. >> No. The Wizard of Oz, the first part is. in black and white and then as soon as. she makes it to the Land of Oz, it. becomes colorful. >> They didn't have color in 19 Yeah, they. didn't have color TVs in 1930. >> Yeah. >> How do you know? Were you alive then? >> Oh, why did they film it? No, no, no, >> y'all. Wait, I'm so confused because. like I remember when I did my deep dive. last year, it was a huge thing. The. Wizard of Oz was so like monumental.
because it was one of the first movies. with Technicolor. Guys, our holiday. merch drop is now available. >> If you guys want to go check it out, go. to the lolodcast.net. >> In what year? >> Let me see. Wait, I'm looking at it. >> So, the first Wizards of Oz was all. completely in black and white. >> Oh, it was uh 39 with three strip. technicolor. >> That's what I was saying. I told y'all I. fell into a rabbit hole of it. >> It must have been like one of the first. >> Really? It was. I remember. >> But it wasn't broadcast on TV till 1956. >> What? >> They couldn't It had to be on like like. film. Like they had to like. >> That's crazy. [laughter]. >> No, the whole franchise is literally. evil. It's crazy. >> Evil. Yes. Because like.
>> Because it's witches. No, I'm serious. No, I'm serious. No, Cash, you don't you. don't know. In the first They took it. out of it, but the first like screening. of it, if you find you can find old. clips of the Wizard of Oz when they're. walking down the yellow brick road. No, it's real. >> It was debunked. They said it was birds. they brought ON SET THAT DAY. >> OH, YEAH. IT WAS BIRDS THEY BROUGHT ON. SET. THE. >> BIRD TALKING about. >> There was a contest. WIZARD OF OZ. knowledge for the Wizard of Oz.
knowledge. Right. >> there. There is a scene where they're. walking down the yellowber road and the. munchkins are all there right and then. off in the distance you see a monkin. who is hanging himself. I'm not kidding. >> The rumor was but the but the studio. debunked it to protect their image. I'm. not saying. >> then then they made a then after only a. couple of these got released with it. blah blah blah blah then they went back. and they took it out. So it's out of all. the other tapes. Wait, why find an old. Walt Disney tape? Like an older one. It.
might have it on. >> from the 30s. >> No, like they were It was This was like. probably 90s or something. I don't know. >> What do you mean? No. No. >> When they took it out. >> Does Walt Disney own Wizard of Oz? >> I don't think Walt Disney did that. >> No, that studio did. >> I thought it was Walt Disney. >> But it was basically like this like. little like shadow in the background was. swinging and everyone was like, "Oh my. gosh." Like a munchkin was hung and like. on the set or whatever, which is a crazy. thing, but it was the 30s, you know? Oh, it was a different time. I don't know.
Maybe the munch was online. >> Wait, and what did they. >> And what did they uh say it was? >> The studio said that they had brought in. like actual real life birds onto set to. make it look more realistic as they were. walking down the yellow brick road. And. they were saying it was a bird in the. background that you were seeing. >> Yeah. Here, I'll show you what it looks. like. >> like in a cage. No. >> Here, I'll show you what it looks like. >> I don't know. It was weird. It's also. very poor quality like footage. >> Here it is. See him hanging back there? Uh. yeah.
>> Yeah. >> But wait, let me look at this. >> Wait, you're looking at this. We can't. put this on our on. >> Yeah, you can put this. It's just a. shadow. It's just a shadow. You can see. you can't really. >> It's not graphic. >> No. >> Yeah, that is odd. And then they took it. out. And that ain't birds. I'M SORRY. THAT AIN'T BIRDS. >> That is not even the worst thing that. happened on the set. >> I literally I had nightmares about this. >> Wait, the set of Wizards of Odds or. Wicked? >> The Wizard of Oz in the 1930s? I'm. giving you the backstory of why the. whole franchise is cursed and then we'll. talk about Wicked. Okay, >> understandable. >> Listen, I have a notes app about this.
>> What? >> Really? A notes app? A whole app for it? >> Yeah. >> What's the uh note titled? Like what's. the title of the headline? >> The dark secrets of the Wizard of Oz. >> Why do you have that? >> Cuz I was I was bored. [laughter]. >> Okay. Well, take us through your notes. >> Okay. Well, if you must insist. First of. all, um, before filming even started, Judy Garland, our Dorothy, she was 16. and they told her she was not overweight. by any means, but they told her she had.
to lose 12 pounds before she could even. start filming, >> which was kind of crazy because she was. already skinny, but she loses the 12. pounds. And then they put her on a. strict diet of cigarettes and pills. >> Cigarettes and pills. >> What? >> And black coffee. >> Where are you getting this information? >> Um, somebody released a book that like. had worked with Judy like a couple years. later. I don't know. But anyway, >> is Judy still alive? >> No. What in the She was 16 in 1938. And. you think she's still alive? >> There's probably people still alive. >> I want to say she actually might have. even like. >> Let's see. 16 in 19. Let me look up when.
the oldest person alive right now is. born. [laughter]. >> I have. That would mean she's like 106. years old. >> You guys are caught up on the wrong fact. here. What do you mean her diet was. cigarettes? That didn't even make sense. >> No. Um, >> the oldest person alive right now was. born in 1909. >> Lies. >> Yeah. Quiet, a British woman born on August 20. >> HEY GUYS, WE ARE OFFICIALLY STARTING OUR. overseas tour very soon. And if you live. in Manchester, you're going to want to. listen to this because tickets for.
Manchester are finally on sale, baby. So. go get your tickets to Manchester. We. also have London, Ireland, Melbourne, and Sydney, Australia. All these tickets. are officially on sale right now. So. guys, go get your tickets if you want to. see us on tour this March. Guys, we are. so excited to see all you guys and we'll. SEE YOU ON TOUR, BABY. GO TO the. lolodcast.net. Peace. >> Or cash, you're going to break his. phone. >> Please stop. Please stop hitting. I'm.
going to take that away from you. >> Well, anyways, no. Um, at one point her. I don't know if it was while she was on. the Wizard of Oz or if it was after, but. I do know at one point she was just like. drinking black coffee and taking pills. to like suppress her hunger and smoking. cigarettes. But on the Wizard of Oz, she. did have like the they had people from. the studio who were hired to like watch. her all the time to make sure that she. wasn't overeating because she was 16 and. she was supposed to be portraying this. like little girl. They were like, "You. can't gain weight. You can't like. develop in any way." So they started.
like literally like strapping when she. started like literally just like going. through puberty, they like strapped her. chest down so that you couldn't see her. like any curves and they would put her. in these like insanely tight outfits to. like mask her body like developing. Sounds horrible. >> Yeah. And she was like, so anyways, >> but she did get to be Dorothy. >> Well, they did all that and she doesn't. even look like a little girl in the. movie. She looks like she's 16. >> She looks older than 16. >> Anyways, they um So, anyways, she has. all those those issues during. >> They should have just cast somebody that. was. >> Yeah, that time.
>> Well, they were going to cast I don't. see why do I know all this? They were. going to cast. >> Tell a casting director. [laughter]. >> They were going to cast Shirley Temple. because at the time Shirley Temple was. like. >> there's no way someone's real name is. Shirley Temple. >> You've never seen Shirley Temple? I used. to watch that all the time. She was. wait, wasn't she? >> Who is Shirley Temple? >> Was she in The Shiny? >> Matt, I've said this several times. When. my hair is too curly, I'm like, "Oh, I. look like Shirley Temple.". >> I thought it was like a character, not a. person. >> No, she has her own movie. Hold on. >> She was like a really famous. Like, she. was a very famous. >> She's like a little girl. >> I order Shirley Temples all the time.
>> I didn't know Shirley Temple could be a. name. >> Yeah. Anyways, Shirley Temple was like. America's sweetheart in the 1930s. Like, she was like their beloved like child. Like, she sang Happy Birthday to. >> Shirley Temple. >> Oh. Oh, >> she was Yeah, she was a cute little kid. Surely. >> Anyways, they were going to cast her, but they pretty much she was 10 and. they're like, "Okay, her vocal range. cannot hit what Dorothy needs to be able. to hit in this movie." So, they surely. she can't do it. >> Yeah. So, she couldn't do it. So, Judy. was casted instead. And then two weeks. into filming, so you know, they had like. all of the um her friends like the Tin. Man, the Scarecrow, the lion, all of.
that. >> Yeah. Those poor guys. She was. complaining about her costume. >> Oh, it was terrible. Tin man. No. No. Two weeks. >> I've heard bad things about the Tin. Man's costume. two weeks into filming. the Tin Man because they were dusting. his face with aluminum, he was ingesting. it and he just like literally got so. sick his wife rushed him to the hospital. and he literally was like suffocating. and he was on like an ox he was in an. oxygen tint like. >> for literally weeks and so he goes and. he practically almost dies from this. aluminum that they're dusting on him. >> They couldn't just paint him silver.
>> Well, so then they have to recast the. Tin Man because now their original actor. is out. So they recast him. >> pretty much. >> So they [laughter] recast they recast. >> They killed him off in real life. >> They recast. and um they decide okay well the. aluminum powder was too bad because he. was you know breathing it in. So they. create this paste and they put it on his. face and the same thing happens. He. basically. >> Did they recast him again? >> No, he got he just got super sick and so. they just like kept like I don't know.
they like. >> something about his costume the way he. had to go to the bathroom in it too. I. remember was crazy. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> And then Well, he and then he got a. really bad eye infection which like. eventually went away, but you know, it's. still unfortunate. >> And so yeah, that was that was really. unfortunate for the Tin Man. >> Why do I This is like embarrassing for. me. >> Like I know. >> you don't I mean we were supposed to. talk about. >> No, we're That's not even like the the. worst part though. Listen, I actually do. think the worst part um the worst thing.
that happened on the set, my personal. opinion, is the wicked witch in the. movie. She was like the green lady. They. um used like this green paint and it was. seeping into her pores and it was. literally just like poisoning her. And. they were like when you have the paint. on like you can't eat your food or. anything because if you ingest it like. it's toxic. And so she wasn't allowed to. eat when she was in costume. And um. anyway, so she was like being poisoned. by this green paint and then after. filming it like stained her skin for. like weeks after because it was like so. toxic. But then one day they were.
filming and she was literally like. there's a scene where like it catch like. the floor catches fire and she's. supposed to like run away. So she's. supposed to run before they catch the. floor on. >> she melts. >> Yeah. And or like one of the times you. know when she would like literally like. burst into flames like this. >> Yeah. Yeah. So she was supposed to do. that and run and then the crew would. like light the floor on fire, but one. time she was like trying to do it and. the crew lit the floor on fire before. she got away. So she literally was just. like burned and so it burned like her. face and her eyelid and her hair and.
like her eyelashes and eyebrow was. missing and like her hand was burned. >> What? >> And so she gets burned on set. >> and she go she walks off set. >> and she said nobody at the studio helped. her. Like nobody like came to check on. her. Nobody like called 911 for her or. anything. So she had to call her friend. to come pick her up. Wait, when is this? >> This is the old one. >> Yeah. In 1930s. And so she goes goes to. the hospital and the next day she gets a. call from the studio and they're like, "Hey, when are you going to be back?". After they just like literally caught. her on fire during the film. And so she.
takes a few weeks and she comes back and. they're like, "Okay, you're going to. have to shoot the fire scene again." And. she's like, "Absolutely not." And she. says, "My like," she basically was like, "I'm not doing it." And they're like, "Okay, your stunt double will do it.". And the same thing happened to the stunt. double. >> That's insane. >> They caught her on fire twice. >> both times. It was off topic but kind of on topic. You know they didn't have 911 back then. >> Really? >> They didn't have 911 till 911. >> But they had emergency phone numbers. What do you mean? >> I think they just had the number of. their like doctor. >> Time out. Time out. Time out.
>> What do you. >> They definitely had 911 before 911 was. from. >> 911 is in is in like memorial or. whatever from 911. >> No. >> Yes. >> I don't know who they called in like the. 90s but in the 30s I'm pretty sure they. just called their local doctor. No, you. called. There was an emergency phone. number. >> When was 911? Local police station. >> I'm really shocked. >> What number did you use to call the. police before 911? 911 was first used in. 1968. >> No way.
>> When a call was put Yeah. >> What? >> And then when was 911 happened on 911? >> That's insane. >> It is kind of crazy. 911 and 91. number. 911 was officially selected as the. United States emergency number in 1968. Yeah. >> No, >> you guys think it was only in the 2000s. >> No, I swore George Bush did that. >> You guys like when our parents would. have been alive. Maverick was born in. 2000 when Maverick was born the year 911. happened. >> My mom, you're factecking? >> Yeah.
>> What do you mean? We just fact checked. it. >> I'm just double checking. >> We'll put her on speaker. >> Yeah. >> Wow. >> I mean, she was technically she would. have been alive. >> Yeah. You think she'll answer? >> Still going to answer me. >> Wow, this is important. >> Hello. >> Hey, real quick. I'm on the podcast. Um, >> whenever you were like 17 years old, if. there was an emergency, what number did. you type in your phone? >> Like if you were calling the police. >> Well, I didn't have a phone at 17 years.
old. >> Well, that'll do it. Okay. If you were. at the house Oh, you had a page. No. Okay. I don't care about your pager. If. you were at the house and you had a wall. phone at 17 and there was an emergency, how did you get a hold of the police? >> Hello. >> I called the police department. >> How what number did you use? >> I don't know. It was the Bridge City. Police Department. When y'all were 17.
and you called the police? >> What number did you call? >> They didn't have 911 back then. 3276810. >> 3276810 is our police department. >> Wow. >> Yeah, they said that they called the. police department. >> Wow. The phone number. >> All right. Thank you. That was all. Goodbye. >> Okay. Well, I don't know what small town. 30 years behind Kinsey lived in. But. >> no, my mom's not even from the same town. that Oh my gosh. >> Before 911, there was no universal.
emergency number in the US. People had. to either call their local police or. fire department. >> Yes. 911. Yes, before 911 directly by. looking up the specific phone number or. DIAL ZERO. >> OH MY GOSH, GUYS. I JUST LOOKED IT UP. WHY ARE Y'ALL ALREADY CITY AND COUNTY. had a different local number? >> Oh my gosh. You called someone who lived. in Tenbuk 2. Let me call my mom. >> Your mom lived in way more tin than my. mom did. >> Let's see what my mom says about your. mom, right? [laughter]. >> Yeah. My mom's gonna be right.
>> Here we go. >> Hey, mom. >> Yeah. um back before uh when you were like 20. years old um or or say say 17 18. >> 90s in the 90s. >> in the 90s. Uh if you were to need to. call the fire department or police or. anything like that, what number would. you have dialed? >> 911. >> Oh, so 911. >> It's been 911 my whole life. >> Oh, >> before 911. >> Interesting. Sorry. Kenzie's mom was. just confused. [laughter].
I don't know. Maybe maybe it wasn't. universal a number state, but in. Oklahoma we. >> Yeah. No, they lived they lived in. Tbuck, too. They were in the middle of. nowhere. Um. >> Yeah. No, because Maverick. >> Well, okay. Okay. To clarify, if you do. live like. in the middle of nowhere, sometimes you. do have to call like a county sheriff. and not 911. >> That explains. Yeah. They're they're not. they're not from the city or any they. they were from. >> My mom was not from the same town that. I'm from.
>> Yeah. They're not really nor used to. civilization. Um, >> my mom asked other people. >> Mav and Kinsey thought that it was only. made 911 after 911. >> Oh, no. It was 911. I I would learn 911. as a kid in, you know, kindergarten to. call 911. >> You're telling me that's what I tried to. tell. >> They specifically attacked on 911 day. >> Yeah. Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah. All right. >> All right. Byebye. Well, the five people. that were standing in the circle around. my mom also said that.

delicious pizza. >> They are from Timbuktu. KENZIE, YOU ARE. FROM THE STICKS. >> MY MOM IS NOT FROM THE ST. >> There's about you and those other five. people that are from there. That's it. >> She said, "Well, if you lived in the. middle of nowhere, you'd have to call. your local cat." [laughter]. Okay, back back to the lore. >> Back to me. >> Oh, >> Linda. Linda. >> So, so far we figured out Dorothy. >> had to smoke cigarettes for her food. consumption. >> The tank man's lungs failed. He.
completely nearly died. Twice. And the. witch caught on fire. Twice. And then. [laughter]. also another like really big thing was. there there's a scene in the Wizard of. Oz where Dorothy like falls asleep in. this field of poppy flowers which the. poppy flower made an appearance in the. movie Wicked which was kind of crazy. >> Oh really? I didn't notice that. >> Yeah. But like she falls asleep in the. poppy flower field and it starts snowing. and she supposed like the poppy flowers. like pretty much put her to sleep. because of like the the you know the.
poppiness. >> Yeah. The poppiness. And um the snow. that they used on set was actually like. a really like toxic chemical. >> How was every Did they use anything that. wasn't toxic? >> No, it literally everything on set they. fed us ended up being toxic. >> No, literally everything they used back. then was just like toxic. And so. >> in the Wizard of Hear me out, the Wizard. of Oz when it was created, they were. actually just trying to kill people. >> probably. [laughter] I mean, it was. evil. Anyways, so there's that whole. like just I'm sure there's even more to. like the Wizard of Oz like storyline and.
things that happened on set that were. just evil. Oh, the Munchkins. So, but. also No, no, no. On on the original. movie they were uh the Munchkins were. hired and it was a bunch of like uh. people with dorphism and so they had. like 150 like Munchkins on set and these. guys were just menaces. I mean, [laughter] in the Culver, they lived in. I remember I had never seen the movie, but I stayed in the Culver Hotel one. time and my friend was like, "Oh my. gosh, this is where the Munchkins stayed. and they have pictures like in the hotel. of the Munchkins." They were getting.
drunk every night. They were sleeping. five munchkins to a bed. Like they were. just like always showing up to set hung. over and then they were. >> Man, I wish I could have hung out. [laughter]. >> And they were always getting the cops. called on them. like they were. constantly getting the cops called on. them for just being too like insane. during like at the Culver Hotel. And so. anyways, Dorothy also said that um like. one of them was like a 40-year-old like. man asking her out on a date and trying. to get take her to dinner and stuff. And.
um someone else said that they had to be. escorted. The Munchkins were such like. nuisances that they had to be like. escorted around set. Like all the women. like in the film were escorted by um. armed bodyguards because the munchkins. would like try to touch them and stuff. [laughter]. >> What? >> Yeah, that was what I saw. >> I feel like half of this is fake news. It's got to be. >> How many? Quiet piggy. How many uh. munchions were there? >> It was 150. I'm sure not. >> 150. No wonder they had to escort them. If they wanted to touch you, they going. to touch you. [laughter] 15.
>> I'm sure that the majority of them. actually were like appropriate people. And there's probably just like the. handful of like weird people. There are. everywhere. >> I don't even think the bodyguards are. going to do anything. Imagine if there. was [laughter] 150 perverted munchins. trying to get you. Dude, you don't want. to mess with that. No, they're taking. all you down. >> No, I'm sure the majority of the. munchkins like actors actually were. fine. They were also like severely. underpaid. Dorothy's dog in the film was. paid more. Yeah. Was filmed was paid. more than the Munchkins. >> No way. >> Yes. He was I think. >> to be fair, there was 150.
>> No, I think I think in today's money the. dog was paid about $2,000. um a week or. something and then the Munchkins were. only paid like 500 a week or whatever. >> Negotiated like the dog. >> The dog was overpaid or something like. that. But okay, anyways, that whole. franchise is cursed, which leads us to. >> witches. >> Wicked. >> Wicked. >> and why Wicked is weird. >> Uh so Wicked, the actual lure that we've. been trying to get to, which is the. wicked lure. Explain that to us. This. could almost be a part two. I want to.
hear more about the Wizard of Oz. [laughter]. >> No, the Wizard of Oz. I would highly. recommend you guys like actually go. watch videos on it cuz it's insane. Matt's the type of guy to like fall. asleep with these dudes. You would like. it. >> No, Matt's the type of guy that listens. to those videos on YouTube falling. asleep at night. Just in 1933, they. casted Dorothy as the one and only star. of the show. Little did they know. Dorothy would be That's you. >> That's me. What do you mean? I do want. to make those videos. I should be. watching it like No, >> I I'm not kidding. I I think I knew at. one point, but the fact that the Wizard.
of Oz franchise tried to kill the Tin. Man, the Wizard of Oz franchise tried to. kill Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. franchise tried to kill the witch. >> Yeah. >> And they they. >> No, I'm with you. The Wizard of Oz. franchise scammed the the the dwarfs. >> Not Wizard of Omnath. We haven't even. got to Wicked. Wicked and the Wizard of. Oz has tried to attempt to kill or wait, no. Wicked and the Wizard of Oz had. tried to kill multiple people and no one. says anything. >> No, Wicked didn't try to kill anyone.
>> Then what happened with Wicked? [laughter]. >> Wicked is just a whole different level. of messy. People's lives weren't like in. danger. But the. >> Is this Wicked? Wicked number one. >> Just Wicked like part one and part two. So the movie that came out last year and. the movie that came out today. >> Okay. But. >> Oh, there's Wait, can you give the lure. away about Wicked 2? >> I haven't even seen it yet. >> Yeah, I haven't seen it. So. >> Okay. It's not going to ruin anything. >> No. >> Okay. No, but um pretty much. Have you. guys seen the the interviews of Ariana. Grande and Cynthia? I think it's Irvo.
>> Ariva. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Before they're very weird. >> No. Kate told me something the other. day, I'm sure she's about to share it. here. That was crazy. But every. interview that I've seen of Arana, I'm. like, "Oh, she's so sweet. Like, she. just seems so kind." But then the other. day, you were like, "Not really. >> Not [laughter] really.". >> Don Don, that's what it sounds like. No, they just they strike me as uh. >> No, >> I I think the correct word is odds. >> Well, Cynthia Arivo played Jesus in the.
in that other show. >> I'm not kidding. >> What? >> Y'all didn't know that. >> She She got casted as Jesus, which I. mean, she just got casted for. It's not. her fault. But like, >> but like that is weird. And I I I don't. think I I feel good about a woman. playing Jesus. That just feels weird. Uh. let's see. >> Cynthia Arivo playing Jesus. That's That. is kind of. >> What movie is this? >> Uh in Jesus Christ the Superstar. >> Oh, it's like the Hollywood Bowl. >> Jesus Christ the Superstar. That's a. movie.
blasphemous. >> She played uh. >> Oh, it's a play. >> Yes. It's like a It's like a like. Wicked. >> I'll be honest. She. >> Oh. Oh, like a Broadway musical. >> Yes, I believe so. >> Yeah, that's very weird. >> I know. Every time I see an interview. >> I feel like a musical is a little bit. different. She's not really talking, was. she? She's just like. >> I mean, wait, what was what's her name? >> Cynthia. >> Yeah, Cynthia and Ariana Grande. Every. time I see them in like an interview or. anything, like it it's just very odd. >> No, it it's it's slightly strange. >> They just have like a weird demeanor to.
them, but they didn't at least Ariana. didn't used to be like that. >> That's what's so weird is like. >> she's a. >> she completely like almost changed like. her personality, which maybe it's all. just one big PR stunt. She's like, I'm. during my interviews, I'm going to feed. into the character of Glenda and like be. like very I don't even know like speak. super like hairy and like be super like. >> she changed skin colors like three times. yet. >> Well, she used to just like tan a lot. >> Well, she was very pale and then she was. very dark. >> Yeah. >> And now she's pale again.
>> That's weird. Yeah. If you go watch like. Victorious, like she's like a different. person. >> Like white white. >> Like whiter than you. >> Like. no one's ever told me that before. [laughter] I've always been the whitest. one. >> Yeah. But no. Yeah. Literally, she's. like white white. And now I that never. occurred to me. She. >> tan. That's not as big of a deal. >> No, but I feel like part of it comes. with her personality change. She's like, think about it. When she was on Ariana. Grande, she was like, "Hi guys." And she. was all pale. >> You mean when she was on Victorious? >> On Victorious. Yeah. On.
>> She was supposed to be dizzy and. >> d that was active. >> And then she got dark skin and she was. like 64, 65, whatever the song is, right? [laughter] And then. >> No, but I Yeah. No, she I'm convinced. >> and now she's back to Hi guys. >> Yeah. Well, no, no, That's what people. are saying though is like it it's. literally just like this personality or. like character change that she had that. came with getting casted as Glenda. because like in interviews before Wicked. like she talk everyone's like oh yeah. like she was just like a normal like. celebrity in interviews and now whenever.
she talks it's like hi oh my gosh like. yes you are just the light of the room. you are the light of the room and it's. >> maybe I've heard sometimes actors they. get so into the character sometime that. after the movie sometimes they're like. still stuck in character and they can't. tell like when they're in character and. when they're not. Maybe that was what. happened to her. >> Maybe. Yeah. But what's really weird is. like during the interviews like Cynthia. and Ariana are like literally it's like. they've been trauma bonded together. >> What the. >> And like I'm not even joking like Ariana.
Grande has like said in an interview. She's like this is such this was such. like a demanding film to make. Like. you're on set extremely long days like. exhausting physically, emotionally, like. mentally exhausting and demanding. And. so obviously it's like not it wasn't an. easy film for them to do, but it seems. like that like literally caused them to. be like trauma bonded because now during. interviews Ariana is like literally like. she's always like holding Cynthia's. finger. >> during the finger. >> Like she'll like be like holding. >> just the finger. >> There's there's quite a few interviews.
where she's just holding Cynthia's. finger like this. >> That's weird. >> Or they're just like. >> Yeah, >> that's weird. >> Like they're just like all over each. other. >> I'll be honest. I've seen like young. girls do that when they're when like. you're in high school for some reason. Girls act like that. They are adults. >> Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what. happened. I don't know what happened on. the set, but it caused them to act like. that a lot and every like they're just. like, "Oh my gosh, like we're just super. close and stuff and like you know we. obviously if you're going to be on the. like a film like that, you're you're. going to get super close." But yeah, it's kind of interesting the way that.
they've kind of like gotten like that. >> Yeah. So, what's the other lure with. Wicked? Oh, aside from everyone being. like concerned about like why they act. like that, people have also talked a lot. about like how much weight everyone in. the film like lost during the during the. movie. But Ariana also came out and said. and she was like, "Everyone wants to. talk about how skinny or how much weight. I've lost from this, but I mean people. just don't know like this is the. healthiest I've ever been. Like back in. 2016, 2017, like I wasn't healthy at.
all, but now I'm healthy." And. everyone's like, "Oh, she lost so much. weight. like she's she's cooked. But. yeah, so everyone's concerned about the. weight loss of everyone. >> of everyone. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. No, I I've seen it on I have seen. that online. There's like there's a. thing known as like before and after. Wicked. So it's like pictures of people. before Wicked and pictures of people. after they filmed Wicked and it's like. >> wait I need to see these pictures. >> and it's completely different. >> It's kind of crazy. >> I I if you're like working like a. 14-hour day every day for months on end, like I think that's just going to. happen. Like you're going to miss meals.
and stuff. I'm not saying that's good or. healthy. I think that is just like comes. with. >> mills. >> Missing mills. >> Mills. >> Mills. >> Missing mills. >> She always says that. Y'all haven't. noticed that. >> Mills. People are going to be missing. mills. >> You want a mill? >> What is the pro? What did I say? >> You're saying mills like a winds menu. Check the grill. Cooking. Get the grill. >> Here we go. We're going to we're going. to pop up pictures of people before and. after Wicked. >> And yeah, they Oh my gosh. >> Cynthia really Oh my gosh. She really. cuz Cynthia was very like she was super.
looked like she had a lot of muscle and. it looked like she just lost a lot of. her muscle. >> Yeah, they all look like very. time to go to the gym anymore. >> Yeah. >> Whoa. >> No, but they look like. >> all three of them. >> look. >> but. >> like. >> like what Ariana Grande said, they could. be like healthier now. I don't know. >> No, but that's the thing. It almost. looks like unhealthy. It's like I mean. very. >> Yeah, but in reality like we don't know. Like. >> that's true. I ain't their doctor. >> Like Ariana could have literally been.
like taking drugs every day in the first. picture and we'd never know that. >> I mean, yeah, that's true. >> I don't know. >> You know, I got a hot take. >> Cynthia lost a lot of weight. >> It looked like she was just really. muscular though and just like lost her. muscle. >> Yeah. >> I don't know. >> Ariana Grande. shouldn't have played Glenda. >> Really? >> Hot take. >> Why? Why do you think that? >> She's just kind of like I don't know. Like Glenda is supposed to be this like. like have you ever seen like the the I.
forgot her name. The girl that played. Glenda on Broadway. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> That's just to me like who Glenda is. like supposed to be. >> No. I think Ariana did a great job. >> I'm kind of with Mav. They could have. casted someone else. >> Yes. >> You haven't even people right now. >> I feel like I had pull off a good Linda. Listen. No, I just I just feel like. she's a little more just like, "Oh, that's not how Glinda is." Glenda's not. like, "Oh, no, wait. Isn't she a witch? She's a witch, but she's a nice witch.".
Glenda's more like like like bubbly. Does that make sense? >> Ariana did a really good job at that. I. think. >> I just I just don't. >> Yeah, right. They should have casted. Taylor Swift. >> I just don't know. >> No, I think she did a really good job on. the songs. But even the songs, it's like. the the chick that sings them on the. Broadway show. I for I'm forgetting her. name. She sings like popular like kills. it. And Ariana Grande, amazing singer. She's great. >> I think they think the other. you're about to catch a lot of backlash. for that. >> I disagree. I think Ariana did really. well and I actually I really liked the.
way she did it. Like we were watching. Wicked the other night just me and some. of my friends and we were all like she. did. >> Kristen. >> Yeah, I think it is. Chess Chess Chinith. Chinith. >> I don't know. Yes. Who? >> No. Um, but anyways, we were like Ariana. did such a good job at like portraying. the like backhanded like compliments. almost of just like I don't even know. like what's the word. You know when like. you you meet a girl backanded. compliment. >> Yeah. We were all like wow like she's. really good at like making you think. she's such a nice person when really.
she's just backhanded complimenting you. the whole time and like you still feel. like it's a good thing. And I don't. know. I thought she did a really good. job. >> No, I thought she did great. You know. what? I was so upset with the Wicked. movie. At least the first one, >> which I watched it with like six girls. the other day and they all told me I was. crazy, but I stand by this. So, let me. know if you're on my side or their side. in the comments, but I think that Ariana. should have had way more singing parts. because Oh, you have a you have. something to say? >> M doesn't like musicals. I mean, I hate.
musicals. I do not like people singing. about me. >> I think Cynthia killed it on her song. >> No, I think she did, too. I just in my. personal opinion I think that Ariana is. a better singer. >> No, >> I I do. >> Maybe I'm just. >> Everyone disagreed with me. Everyone was. like, "No, Cynthia is an amazing. singer." And I think she is. She's an. amazing singer, but I think Ariana is. better. >> You won't bring me down. >> I thought Ariana had a lot of singing. time in the movie. >> Yeah, but she just didn't get like a. song that really showed her voice. >> because her voice isn't as good.
>> No, Ariana's voice is phenomenal. She's like one of the top singers in the. entire world. Yes. But yes, but Glenda. sings like very high. All of her ballads. are very high. She doesn't have these. like like. >> Wicked on Broadway. >> Is that the songs? >> Huh? >> Is this Will Smith's wife? >> No. >> You don't know who Ariana Grande is? >> No, I know Ariana Grandia. >> Oh, this you've seen her. She's She's in. the Hold on. Wait, wait. Pop up a. picture of Will Smith's wife and this. girl side by side. They look.
>> What are you talking about? That girl in. the pink? That's not who the one I just. saw. >> You're talking about Cynthia. >> Yeah, Cynthia. Oh, Cynthia Arivo. Who? Yeah, who is that? Uh, you're just. saying that because she's bald. No, I. just don't I've never heard of Cynthia. >> Uh, I haven't heard of her until Wicked. >> I'm sure we've seen her and stuff. We. just didn't like realize it. >> Yeah, she's been in a couple other. things. >> But aside, Cash. >> Yeah. >> Aside, >> Wow. Will Smith's wife is beautiful. >> She is. She's so pretty. >> What were you saying, K? >> And when Will slapped Oh my gosh,
>> HE SLAPPED HER. NO. When Will Smith. slapped that one uh award show. >> Oh my gosh. Wait, Kenzie might not know. >> Oh, she doesn't know about. >> that. Was before Kinsey was in social. media. >> Oh, she don't know. >> Wait, Kenzie, if [laughter] I SAID KEEP. MY WIFE'S NAME, >> I've heard that, but I think. >> isn't Isn't Will Smith like banned from. the Oscars forever? >> NO WAY. >> WHO DID he slap? Tell me who he slapped. >> Oh, I don't know. I've never heard him. that he slapped. >> You've never seen him slap like that. last name out of your mouth or whatever.
you say. Oh my gosh. Yeah. No, that's. monumental. >> Put your crown back on. You look stupid. >> I lost my crown back there. Out of out. of all the fact that you have never seen. the clip of Will Smith slapping the. person. >> I'm pretty sure Pape made a song about. Will Smith who slapped. I do. >> Doesn't know who he slapped. Who knows. who he slapped? >> Keep my name. What's his name? Yo, he. mouth. He got He He slapped. Hold on. Wait. Wait. >> Are you deaf? >> No. Time out. He slapped Chris Rock. >> Okay.
>> No. Duh. I said it like 20 times. >> Wait, can we pull up the clip? >> I can't I can't believe for Wait, wait, hold on. For those of you that don't. know, >> before Kinsey and Mav started dating, Kinsey lived in the boonies. And. >> I lived in central Texas near Waco. I. did not live in the boonies. Had a flip. phone before they started dating. >> I didn't do that. Fake news. >> She did not know what a cell phone or. Wi-Fi was. >> Fake news. I paid my bill every month. >> And so that is why Kinsey does not know. viral clips like this. She also didn't. know who Jake and Logan Paul were.
>> No, I did not know that. >> Some of you guys watching this might be. pretty young. You might not know Will. Smith, an actor, um, is banned from the. Oscars for uh, >> is he actually? >> Yeah, he got banned for 10 years. >> Like threeish three or four years ago. He walked up cuz Chris Rock, the guy who. was hosting the Oscars. He I don't know. even know why we're explaining it. Everyone already knows, but the guy was. hosting the Oscars and he made a joke. about Will Smith's wife and then Will. Smith gets out of his chair, walks into. the guy and slaps him. >> on stage. He walks up on stage, slaps I. was going to say kind of a cool move.
>> Should we should we should we should we. play the clip real quick? >> Why did he slap him? >> Um because he made a joke about his. wife. >> I just wanted to clarify. I think Ariana. Grande did good in the role. It was just. more. >> trying to get backlash. It was No, I'll. get the backlash. It was just a more. airy tone and more poppy. >> Wait. Yeah, nobody cares. >> This video is a minute and a half, so. you're going to have to like clip it to. >> You know who's got the hardest job. tonight? Javier Belm and his wife are. both nominated now. If she loses, he.
can't win. He is praying. >> Wait, pause this. We I don't think we. can watch the whole minute and a half. clip or we might get copyrighted. So, just skip to the part where he slaps. him. >> Well, I want to hear the joke. >> Yeah, the You got to hear the joke. >> Okay, hear the joke. >> Just cut this part to where the clip is. >> G up to the mic. That was the joke. >> Yeah. >> Making fun of her for being bald. >> Lord. Jana, I love you. GI Jane 2. Can't wait.
to see it. All right. >> It's That was a That was a nice one. Okay. I'm out here. Uh-oh. Richard. >> Oh, wow. >> Wow. Will Smith just smacked the out of me. >> Name out your mouth.
>> Wow, dude. >> Yes, >> it was a GI Jane. It was a G a Jane. joke. >> But Will Smith was smiling the whole. time. >> No, he wasn't. >> Cuz it was planned. >> I think it was planned. That looks. >> You just figured out about it 10 SECONDS. AGO. >> IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS PLANNED. And who. slaps somebody like this? >> What? [laughter] slapped him. >> No, wait. I am Am I the only one that's. kind of on Will's side here? >> Uh, no. I'm 100% on Will's side. If it. was real, sure. But it didn't look very.
real. >> It also depends though. You're at the I. don't know what the Oscars really I've. never really seen it. If they're making. fun of everyone there and you're coming. to know that this is like a comedy kind. of thing. Like then if you get made fun. of, you kind of got to take it on the. chin. Like that's like if you go to a. comedy show and the comedian points you. out and makes a joke, you can't get mad. >> I mean, he's a comedian. Chris Rock's a. comedian. >> Chris Rock is like the big one of the. best comedians. >> That's what I'm saying. So, it kind of. depends. It's like, >> but if you're walking into the Oscars. and you don't think you're just going to. be. >> actually, wait, time out. This tells me. all I need to know. Why is she bald? >> Is it her choice or does she have like a.
conditioner or something? >> I'm pretty sure she is. >> Does it change the fact if you can make. fun of it? >> No, it does. >> I don't think at the Oscars. No, 100%. If somebody just shaved their head ball. and they like the way it looks. >> and you definitely free game. >> That's what I'm saying. That's free. game. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She has u an. autoimmune disease. >> Yeah. That's a little more like. >> No, no, >> no. You can still wear a wig. Still do. stuff. It doesn't change. >> If Kenzie had a disease or something, got bald, and then you went to a show. and they were like, >> Kenzie would probably wear a wig. And if. she didn't want to wear a wig, and if.
she didn't want to wear a wig, that's. her choice. And so she's making that. public to the world. >> You're wrong. Unfortunately, >> what? >> That he can't make fun of it. >> At the Oscars, be mad. >> No, it's at mad. She's at the Oscars. >> That's an awards show, not a comedy. show. >> It's not like It's her secret. >> M, just stop. What are y'all talking. about? >> No, no. Realistically, it's an award. show. It's not a comedy show. >> No, no, no. >> Him making a joke and Will Smith walking. on stage and slapping him is completely.
uncalled for. It is a joke at the. Oscars. >> You can't go up and if somebody says. that, >> can you just say any joke? >> If I'm walking down the street and and. some dude calls you small or fat or. whatever, you don't get to just go hit. him. >> No. No. He is right there. You can't hit. the person. >> No, he can stand up and walk out with. her if he wants, >> okay? Show his disrespect however he. wants to. >> If Will Smith's mom passed away the week. before, >> he can get on Twitter and say, "This was. completely blah blah blah blah.".
>> Listen to this. >> If Will Smith's mom passed away a week. before the show and what's it, Chris. Rock gets up there and he's like, "Oh, Will Smith's mom. What a just a piece of. trash and I'm glad she died.". >> That's very disrespectful. And if I was. Will Smith, I'd get up and I'd walk out. and I'd never attend the Oscars. >> Nah, I'd slap him. Yeah, >> it's extremely disrespectful. >> Yeah, slapping people is not always the. right choice. >> No, you guys are clear that violence is. the best option. All three of you have. said it. I stand by it. If I went to the. Oscars and Kate died like a I don't care.
how long ago. Kate was dead when I went. to the Oscars and freaking Kevin Hart. gets up there and he's like not like. Cash's wife though. I mean, she's. cooked. >> If if Kate just died, I certainly would. say someone might get slapped. >> I would certainly say you shouldn't slap. him. You should get up and walk out. But. if you did slap him, I also wouldn't say. he should be surprised. [laughter]. >> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. >> You know, I think sometimes like. >> sometimes people deserve a nice slap. him. >> I'M NOT SAYING THEY DESERVE IT, but I'm. saying don't be surprised if you get. slapped if you make fun of someone's. dead wife. But that's that's a little.
different. >> You're making fun of someone's wife that. has a disease. >> Hey, can we stop the hypotheticals? Cuz. I would like to hear the truth about the. thing you told me the other day. >> Remember about Ariana? Are you allowed. to share that? >> Yeah. allowed to share it. >> It's probably new. Oh, I guess you think. Ariana was just texting. >> I DON'T KNOW. I [laughter] DON'T KNOW. WHAT I THOUGHT, but I was like crazy. >> No. Uh, yeah. This this was this was a. bit controversial. Um, slightly. Uh, yeah. Ariana, there is a there's a.
there's a guy in the movie. Uh, his real. name is Ethan Ethan Slater, I think. >> Wait, is it is it I didn't know this guy. was a munchkin. I thought he was also. like trying to be a witch. No, he's just like a part of he's just. like a part he lived in like Munchkin. Land. I think. >> lived in Munchkin land. >> Yeah. I don't know. But um anyways, he. was an actor on the film and Ariana. Grande was married to another man and he. was married and his wife had just had a. baby and him and his wife were like high. school sweethearts. Like they started.
dating in high school, got married, had. their first baby. He goes to this film. and him and Ariana. start having an affair. >> No way. I swear. And Ariana has a. husband and he has a wife. >> No way. Let me see. >> And so, >> no, no, you got to you got to. >> word on the street. Obviously, we don't. know everything. We don't know anything. really. We're literally just like. >> we get our we get our news. We get our. like facts from TMZ. Like, >> pop up that picture of. >> you know, this is a better picture to. pop up because he shows his wife.
>> Is that Ariana and the munchin dude? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I didn't know he was a munchkin. though. >> He's like a. >> I don't know what he is. He's like at. the school, but I think he's literally. >> Here's his old wife. And there's Ariana. >> Yeah. So there's Ariana. That's him and. his old wife. And Ariana did have a. husband at the time, but she's had a few. of those. So I feel like it's not like, you know, like she's. >> she was married at the time. >> Yes, she did have a husband. Yeah, >> that's crazy. >> So anyways, they're they're on set and. >> this is a dark show. >> Yeah, they're on set. >> I don't like Wicked anymore. [laughter]. >> They start having an affair and um. >> by the way Chennowith Kristen Chennowith.
would never Okay. If she was if she was. playing Glenda, that wouldn't have. happened. >> Yeah. Um, anyways, so. >> um, someone's gonna clip you and like. pull up something crazy that. >> she probably has done something crazy. Most people have, but. >> Yeah. So, they start having an affair. and everyone was kind of like freaked. out over this and like were like, "Oh my. gosh." But the worst part was while he's. having an affair out in wherever they're. filming this movie, like Europe or. something, his wife is back home and.
just had their firstborn baby while he's. like. crazy. >> cheating on her. And so they go and they. get a divorce. Ariana divorces her. husband, files for a divorce, and Ethan. and his wife get divorced. >> all during the filming of. >> during the filming of Wicked. And then. Ethan and Ariana like move on and like. continue to have a relationship after. both of the divorces. And Ethan's wife. has like spoken out just about like how. like shocking it was and how like. detrimental it's been to her and her. family cuz like she has a baby now with.
this man that just was cheating on her. with Ariana Grande. Um and she also said. Ariana Grande is not a girl's girl. So. >> what is that? >> Well, I wouldn't think she was a girl's. girl either. She was cheating. >> Yeah, she's just a girl that cares about. other girls, you know. >> Yeah. Anyways, um so yeah, so they they. started this relationship and people. like sources on set of Wicked supposedly. said that like Ethan and Ariana were. like all over each other like on set and. stuff before the news like even broke. and all this stuff. And so yeah, so they.
both get divorces and they continue to. have a relationship. And. >> so hold on. On the filming of Wicked, Dorothy got abused. >> No, >> what? >> That's the wizard. That's wizard. >> Okay. Well, on the filming of all this, Dorothy got abused. The 10 man almost. died twice from poisoning. What was the other guy? >> The wicked witch. >> The wicked witch got caught on fire. twice. >> and they hanged a munchkin. >> And they they hanged a monst. >> I don't know if that's true. >> Well, whatever. >> We saw the footage.
>> Uh, Ariana Grande cheated and had an. affair on her husband with a dwarf on. set. >> No, he's not. He wasn't an actor. >> or Monction. >> Yeah. And then what was the other thing? >> The munchkin had a wife and a brand new. baby. >> And the munchin cheated on his wife with. Ariana Grande and he was having a baby. >> And everyone everyone on the set of. Wicked is starving. >> Yeah. And everyone on the set of Wicked. before and after pictures. >> I think they might have all been. prescribed the cigarettes diet. I'm not. sure. [laughter]. >> Oh my gosh. It's crazy.
>> Wow. What a lore. >> It was It was a lot. It's a lot to. unpack, but also we're just going based. off a word on the street, you know. >> Is there any other lore or is that it? Um, was there anything else? Oh, Ariana. and Ethan are no longer together now. >> And they cheated for nothing. >> Oh, [laughter]. how you gonna do that? >> Yeah. Like literally within the last. like two weeks it came out that they're. not together anymore. >> Well, >> yeah. It was crazy watching the first. Wicked back again after knowing that. >> Yeah. cuz then I was like watching her. and there's like I mean obviously it's a.
movie like they're doing whatever. they're directed to do but there's like. sections where like he's like really. interested in her in the movie and so. he's all over her and she's just like oh. >> no. >> and it's just like oh gosh oh no having. to watch that as his wife I would just. be furious obviously. >> All right guys well thank you so much. for watching this episode. Make sure to. subscribe because fun fact 80% of the. people that watch us are not subscribed. So, >> what the. >> You guys should subscribe. >> Too late for second guess.
