Harper's Prom Night Was a Total Disaster
Prom was a bust. >> What? >> So, basically, we got to my friend's. house and I mean it was just a bust for. me because I didn't go. >> you not go to the dance? >> No. But, I did get nominated for prom. queen or prom princess cuz I'm a junior. >> Princess? >> Really? Did you. >> Did you win? >> Well, I don't know. I didn't go in. >> However, you posted a video on your. private story of like the party bus or. the limo or whatever y'all were on. Everybody's just sitting on their phone. >> On their phones? >> It was like all the girls on one side. and all the guys on the other and the. guys were all just like this. I was like. like there wasn't even like music. playing or anything. Everybody was just. staring at their phones just having this.
awkward time. I was so annoyed. >> [snorts]. >> Welcome back to another episode. Today, we are like What? >> I'm reading. >> Okay, can please put the book away? >> Did I not tell you what I was going to. do for Coachella? >> You didn't go to Coachella. So. >> Yeah, well, guess what? I canceled on. Coachella because I got invited by a. brand. >> You couldn't afford Coachella. >> No, I got I got invited by a brand. >> You are a brokie. >> Okay. >> What brand. >> [laughter]. >> did you get What brand did you get. invited by?
>> Let me look it up really fast. It's a. swimsuit brand and she had an extra. ticket and she was going to pay for. everything for me, my transportation. >> Wait, did you just need to go to the. Walmart and buy 10 Google Play cards in. order to get the tickets? >> My Secret Swim. They do like period. swimwear and stuff like that, which is. pretty cool. >> Oh, period. >> Period. And so, she invited me. She was like, "Free of transportation." She's. Australian. She's like, "I just want. somebody to go with me." And I was like, "Okay, when?" And she's like, "This. weekend." That was like when she She. said it before this weekend. >> Yeah. >> And I was like, "I have prom this.
weekend. It's my first prom and I can't. go.". Prom was a bust. >> [laughter]. >> What? >> So, uh. so, I wish I went to Coachella, but. >> Wait, did you actually go to prom? >> to this. I'm not going to Coachella. until I perform at Coachella. >> That's a good goal to. >> What if you never perform at Coachella? >> But, what if you don't? Then you would. never go. >> I will. >> But, then you might never go. >> Mark my words right here, right now. I will perform at Coachella if not. headline. >> why not just go in case you don't. perform? That way you still get to go? >> You never believe in me. You have never. believed in. >> saying that. I'm just saying what if.
what if you never go? >> I will say if I. No. >> Would you shut me out on stage? >> No. >> You'd be like, "Yo, Cash always was my. biggest supporter.". He was my biggest supporter. Yeah, well, you guys want to see my. Coachella outfit if I was to go to. Coachella? Yeah, what would your. Coachella outfit be? >> This. Covering what? >> Whatever I wanted to. >> [laughter]. >> That's so crazy. >> Low-key, have you guys not even seen. that? >> This is literally, yeah, >> Coachella [laughter]. >> You guys have seen that? People are.
like, "All right, so here's my Coachella. outfit for the day. I think it's going. to be great. It only cost me $500.". >> Harper, you said that instead of going. to Coachella, we'll get back to. Coachella in a second, but prom, you. said it was a bust. >> Yes. >> What happened? >> is. >> It So, basically, we got to my friend's. house, and I mean, it was just a bust. for me because I'm into dancing. >> No. No. >> You mean you didn't go at all? >> But I did get nominated for prom queen. or prom princess cuz I'm a junior. >> Princess? >> Really? >> Did you win? >> Well, I don't know. I didn't go in. >> What?
>> Because I wouldn't Everybody wanted to. leave the prom thing. >> Wow, that's a flex, huh? And prom. princess is Harper Zellmer. And she's not even here. She didn't even. show up. >> Even if I did get the amount of votes, they wouldn't say it because I wasn't. there. >> So, you could have won, but now you now. you forfeited your. >> Well, I wanted to go in, but I didn't. want to hold everybody up and like wait. for prom princess to be called because. we all had a party to attend to. So, um. we attended the party, and I stayed in a. room the whole night because I was too. insecure here to go out. >> Why? >> I don't know. Like, if I'm going to be.
honest, that's kind of the majority of. what I was. >> y'all's dresses to that party? >> No, we like had a prom like outfit, and. it was Our theme was Jersey Shore. >> Oh. >> Wait, the prom theme was Jersey Shore? >> Yeah. >> No, the after-party theme. >> Prom theme was not. >> photos were fun. I think the funniest. thing was dinner. Um I I dared this guy. $100 to eat three balls of butter and he. did and then he picked. >> Okay, yeah, he's definitely. pre-diabetic. >> Ew. No, why would you do that? >> No, it was. >> [laughter]. >> Was it that guy?
>> No, no. It was my other friend and he like ate. three balls of butter then after he had. a bunch of cake and like and some. dessert so. >> Who does that? >> Uh for a hundred dollars you would do it. too. >> Oh, a hundred? >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah, I'd eat three balls of butter. >> Three butter balls you don't want that. >> I had three balls of butter for. breakfast this morning. >> What? >> I had a waffle. >> Low-key on pancakes sometimes it just. melts away. >> gosh, let me tell you my experience at. IHOP. >> Is that where you went? >> No, no, no, no, no, so. >> prom where did you go to eat?
>> Uh for prom we went to Nick and Sam's. >> Oh, okay. It's kind of classy. >> Oh, it is. It was very nice. And he. brought out the steak five hundred. dollars and I was like is that raw. steak? He was like yes. And then I got. the steak it was really good but it was. bleeding in my mouth. >> Wait, how much was your how much was. your dinner? >> Uh in total how much was it for seven. people? >> It was eight of us and it was five. hundred dollars and then the other table. >> Five hundred dollars? >> And it was eight hundred ninety. >> That's almost. >> Oh my god. >> Wait, eight ninety plus five hundred? >> Well, it was two separate tables. >> Two separate tables and there was eight.
people at each table. One table was five. hundred and the other table had eight. hundred dollars have. >> Oh my god. >> Where is Nick and Sam? Robbed y'all. You. got actually robbed. What did you order? >> Uh I had. in total I had two little slivers of. steak that I barely ate. >> to see this restaurant. >> Uh fifty-five. >> I never heard of that place. >> I mean that's not expensive. >> wait, but oh but you y'all got dessert. >> Let me tell you this. >> Three hundred dollars? >> Let me tell you this. Brooke said that.
Brooke So y'all shared a steak. >> Yeah, it was a it was a thirty-eight. ounce. >> Thirty-eight ounce steak that was three. hundred dollars. >> for a good steak. >> Low-key price low-key. >> So we're leading up to the days of prom. I'm barely eating anything cuz I want to. look slim thick in my dress. Uh and. >> I don't know. That's what I Oh no, not. slim. I want to look slim, not thick. Anyways, so basically. we get the the day after prom. I'm. barely eating anything because I want to. look really good. After prom, I eat breakfast because I'm.
so ready because I'm so ready to eat all. the sugar, everything I've been missing. out on for the past week. We go to IHOP. We get to IHOP. And our. server doesn't say anything to our face. We he just stands there. >> did go to IHOP for prom? >> No, you're not understanding. >> The morning after prom. >> Oh, the morning after prom. >> Which is still like prom. >> No, prom was over but keep going, Harper. >> So. I don't All right, so basically.
we go into prom or we go into IHOP. >> Wow, look she's getting confused now. They were so close together. >> into IHOP and this guy or this lady. comes up to us and just stares at us. like this and we're like. she's like. she just starts walking away so we're. like, "Okay, so I guess we'll follow.". So we follow. We sit down. >> Wait, you're talking about the hostess? >> Yes, and the hostess that was non-verbal. apparently. So we sit down, we're eating. or no, no, we're not eating. We get our. menus late. We're like sitting there for.
20 minutes. We finally get our menus. after 20 minutes of waiting. So we get our. we get our menus, barely have 1 second. to look at them. What do you want to. drink? We're like I'm like, "I I don't. know." So. >> So far you're describing just a dining. experience. This sounds very normal. >> Then this person sat me down at our. seats, handed us some menus. Can you. believe that? And then asked what do we. want to drink? >> You're missing You're missing the whole. entire story. We waited 20 minutes to. get our menus. We got our menus. Right. when they set down the menus before we. can even look at the drink menu, they're.
like, "What do you want to drink?" Okay, I'm like, "Okay, I'll have a water and a. diet Pepsi.". And my friend is. What? >> What just came out of you? >> Are you barking? >> No, he's saying. >> I said dang. >> Oh. >> Dang, what's wrong with the Diet Pepsi. he's saying? >> I said dang. >> You said rare. >> I said dang. >> Diet Pepsi has zero zero everything. It. just has artificial sweeteners in it, so. I don't want to hear you saying. >> Well, artificial sweeteners, you know. what that causes? >> Cancer. >> Pre-diabetic. Dang cancer. >> Coke. >> Yeah. >> Zero sugar does not cause pre-diabetic. That's the reason I drink it. I would.
get a real I would get a real. >> We don't know. Not all the studies are. in yet. We don't know. >> Yeah, you don't know because you don't. >> Wait, think about it. I don't. >> We don't know because you dropped out of. school and you. >> Pepsi been around for 80 years? I don't. know. How's it been? >> It actually has been around 80 years. >> Cuz that's when you do all the research. You can take someone that has been. drinking Diet Coke since they were born. until when they were 80, and then you. have all the research. >> 62 years. That's. >> That's not long enough. That's long. enough. >> Not long enough. You got to got to reach. 80. >> If you want to live till 62, it's long. enough.
>> You want to live till 62, it's long. enough. So I don't want to hear anything. from. >> Why are you hitting my soft spot? >> Why are you Why are you beeping so hard? >> Does that make you feel better that you. bullied me? >> Can you just stop. >> publicly online? It's really annoying. I'm just rage baiting her. Look, she's. falling for it. Okay, then stop falling for it. Wait, you're not falling for it or you are? Cuz you said the only reason I am. >> Be quiet. Um so we sit down, I order Diet Pepsi. and a water. >> Mhm. >> And I'm like, "Okay." So and then Blake. orders a chocolate milk and he. >> Dang.
>> What the. Blake, don't take it personal. That was. [laughter] so unnecessary. You eat That. was so unnecessary. Yeah. Blake, don't. take that from him. Okay, so we. >> We get our or Oh wait, like about. another 20 minutes goes by. We get our. drinks. They give me a water, not my. Diet Pepsi. They give like a water down. clear almost clear with a hint of brown. It looks like It looks like muddy water. but like a little bit of mud in it. They. gave him the chocolate milk. He drinks. it. He almost like throws it all up. Um.
So and then I get my water. I'm like, "Oh, could I have the Diet Pepsi?" And. he's like, "Yeah, yeah." He goes to the. kitchen, throws his hands down. He's. like, "Why aren't you all helping me? I. need help.". >> Blake did this? >> No. No. >> Oh my gosh, the server. Can you do. >> The server, okay. >> Kind of off topic, kind of on topic. One. time I went to Waffle House and me and. like four other softball girls sat down. and we asked for a glass of milk and we. got our milk and it has like chunks in. it. >> Ew. >> It's absolutely. >> That sounds like the Waffle House. >> sent it back and the fourth girl was. like, "Y'all are just being ridiculous.". And she drank the whole thing. >> Did she drink it? >> chunks and all.
>> Ew. >> Yeah. >> No. >> Blake is like Blake tries it. He's like, "I think this is a little bit watered. down. Do you think you I could get. another one?" He's like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." So he gets it. He throws his. hands out in the kitchen. He's like, "I. need a Diet Pepsi in this.". >> Oh, he's just stressed out. >> He comes back. He wants a Diet Pepsi. How can milk be watered down? >> He comes back. I don't think he added. water to it. >> back and he is like 20 minutes goes by. again. He's like, "What do y'all want to. eat?" Still don't have my Diet Pepsi. He. gives him the chocolate milk though. Now. it's a little bit better. >> Mhm. >> Finally, he's like, "What do you want to. eat?" Um my friend is like, "Can I have.
this crepe?" And he he's like, "I don't. know if you have the ingredients for. that. Let me go ask.". >> Do you need ingredients for a IHOP? >> This is like the average. >> A crepe is a thin pancake. I hope they. have the ingredients at IHOP. >> Usually Usually this would like like be. like a simple question, like a. two-minute question, at most five. minutes. 30 minutes later, like I kid you not, we. were here for about four hours. 30. minutes later, he comes back. He's like, "We actually do have the ingredients. So. what do y'all want to eat?". So she orders a crepe. I order pancakes. Blake orders a waffle. And um. >> Dang. >> [laughter].
>> And um And then I'm like, "Can I have my. Diet Pepsi?" At this point I'm starting. to get a little angry because I need my. Diet Pepsi. >> Right. >> So he comes back and he gets us our food. and this actually takes not Actually no, it takes pretty long again, like 20. minutes. And um he gives us our food. I'm like, "Okay. Can I just have the Diet Pepsi at. this point?" And he's like, "Yeah." So. he goes into the kitchen and I'm not. over exagg- exaggerating this. Like I. promise this what happened. He goes into. the kitchen. He I I already eat all my. food and she the girl in front of me,
she's eating her crepe. And we see this. we see this. >> Directions unclear. >> we see Who has the crepe? >> My friend in front of me. Um there's. four people with us. She She's eating. her crepe. She's like, "Wow, this is. kind of good." And um there is a green, slimy, but hard little dot on her crepe. Sorry, crepes are usually the color of. pancake and strawberries, not green and. slimy with a hard shell in it. >> Ew. >> So, so what is in this? We're like, "Are.
you thinking it's mold or a booger?". >> It's a booger. It No, it it's a booger. She's She looks at the booger. She She. um put puts her crepe to the side to the. to the side. And she pulls out another. thing, and it's a hair. >> Ew. What? >> And so I was like. >> You know what? Hairs never gross me out. in food. I don't know why. You just kind. of like. >> So then we're like, "Oh my gosh." So. Blake loses his appetite. He doesn't eat. his freaking um waffle. So for you. saying dang or whatever, >> Dang. >> think think differently. >> What? >> So then the guy comes back, and she's.
like, "I'm I hate to do this, but I think that. there's a booger and a hair in my food.". Like we show him the booger and the. hair, and he's like, "I'm so sorry.". I'm like, "Can I just have my diet. Pepsi? I've already finished my food.". And he's like, "Yeah." So he finally. brings the diet Pepsi. And um oh yeah, we don't have forks, by the way. We. weren't set out with forks. So. >> How was she eating her crepe the whole. time? >> had to ask. I forgot that whole thing. Um so yeah, we left about 4 hours later. We got there at like 12:00. We left at. around 3:00. And um that was my.
experience. >> day was dining at the IHOP. >> Yes. >> And why did you say you went there in. the morning if it was at 12:00? >> That was when they woke up. >> Yeah, I woke up late because it was prob. the um the last night. >> You got to breakfast at 12:00? >> Yes. >> I noticed Harper, you posted a video on. your private story of like the party bus. or the limo or whatever y'all were on, and everybody looked like they were. having the worst time of their life. >> Because it was the worst time of our. life. >> Like No, No, no. I saw a clip of it. Everybody was like this right here. Look, they were just like this. >> Everybody's sitting on their phones.
>> phones. >> It was like all the girls on one side. and all the guys on the other and the. guys were all just like this. I was like. like there wasn't even like music. playing or anything. >> Yeah, no, the only music that was. playing was terrible music and some. thing we play in our PC group, which is. like this really loud song and it's very. just like over stimulating, but. everybody was just staring at their. phones just having this awkward time. even though like. >> why did it look like everybody's mom. forced them to go? >> I don't know. >> prom is, Kate. Everybody acts like it's. nonchalant. >> time all three years. >> Too cool to be there and you stare at. your phone. >> If you go with the right group of.
people, it'd be fun. >> But like the senior bus, everybody was. having so much fun on the senior bus. They were dancing on the pole as a joke. like the guys were. Like it was supposed. to be fun. Ours was literally us on our. phones like this and like. >> wouldn't dance for you? >> No. >> [laughter]. >> I was so annoyed. Like I was so annoyed. So. >> Wow. But it did at least like like maybe. on the way back or something get better? >> No. >> Wait a second. Who did Who did you go to. prom with? >> Like my friends, Brooke. >> You didn't go with a guy? >> No, but like the guy I went with is.
sensitive. >> Why? It is way more fun. >> [laughter]. >> to go with your friends than with a guy. >> Kenzie, did you get asked to prom? >> I went to prom every year with a guy and. I guarantee you it would have been way. more fun if I just went with my friends. >> I feel like I'm always like forced like. stay with him the whole time. So that's. why I was like, you know, I don't really. want to bring a guy. >> you've been to prom before? >> No, like homecoming and stuff like that. >> How did you go to prom? >> Four times. >> No, I didn't say four times. >> Yes, you did. >> I said every time I went.
>> Oh, yeah. Matt went to prom four times. >> I did. >> What? >> Yeah. Well, when you're homeschooled, you can go your like like freshman year. >> Nice. >> But like how does a homeschooled person. >> also 22 when he went to prom. >> What? >> My last one not 22, I was 21 or 20. >> 20 years. >> I was 21. I was 21. >> He. went to prom with a bunch of 17 year. olds? >> 18 year olds. >> That that's mad weird. >> [laughter]. >> That's mad. weird. >> Wait, how old were you then? >> I was 21. >> That's so crazy.
>> No, I don't think I was 21. I I wasn't. 21 I don't think cuz. >> No, you were It It was two something. Say that. >> I think it was It started with two. >> I think it was 20. >> That that's a felony. >> I'm pretty sure 20 was like the age 20. 20 was like the age limit. If you're. like over 21 you can't go. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, that I'm sorry but like. >> 20? >> If you're over the age of 18 please just. stay home. >> tell you this, at 20 it's not fun. >> Stay at home and read a book. >> acceptable but 20 Once you Once you. start to the two. >> it's like. >> Once it starts to the two you kind of.
got it. >> like, oh. >> I don't ever want to hear you say you. went to four proms ever again. Does not. count after you turn 18. >> Well, yeah it does. He still went. >> No. >> Did you have a fun time? >> Well, he went five if you count the year. he was a chaperone cuz he wanted to go. so bad again. >> [laughter]. >> But Mav would do that just to dance. No, proms are just not No, Mav would be. a chaperone right now today. >> People can talk crap on the home school. proms. They were way better than the. public school proms. They were. >> school prom look like? >> They were cool, okay? Did you go to one?
>> Yes. >> Oh, you did? >> You went to a prom? >> Oh, that's Yeah, you went with. >> Mhm. >> And then you know where we went? >> IHOP. >> IHOP, yeah. >> That's where everyone goes. >> Yeah. >> No, a home school prom? >> Wait, that's That was y'all's dinner. before prom? >> No, that was the after prom. That's. where everyone went to go eat after. >> I think before prom we ate at a another. diner. We didn't go to like a fancy place. >> Listen, we were raised in Oklahoma. We. didn't go somewhere fancy, okay? We. weren't dropping eight hundo on steak. >> No, that was not happening. >> [laughter]. >> Okay, I was freaking out.
I was freaking out that I had a rent a. suit. All right. >> Bro, y'all could have gone to like a. respect like a respectful nice little. dinner. >> I spent way too much on prom. >> You didn't have to go to the diner. Like. y'all could have gone to Showbiz. >> Yeah, I already know your dress was mad. expensive. How expensive was it? >> I got it for free. >> But how? >> [laughter]. >> That's a cop out answer. How much is the. average dress of people at your school? >> Probably three to four hundred. >> It depends. It's around a thousand to. two thousand. >> Oh. >> That's not true. All of your friends are. spending probably spending that much. >> How much did you spend on your dress? >> Harper also like.
>> Ah, that one's free, too. >> But mine was a hundred a thousand three. hundred dollars. >> One thousand three hundred, that's. insane. >> That's the price of a cheap wedding. dress. >> prom dresses. My mom gave me a budget of. one fifty. That's what I was allowed to. spend on a prom dress. >> Well, when you're home schooled, they. just make their dresses. >> They did. Some of them Yeah, some of. them like knitted it in yarn. >> Yeah. >> Shut up. >> Straight off the wool, off the sheep. >> Wait, is this the episode where we. >> Uh. >> No, we'll just title this one about your. prom and Harper's IHOP experience.
I think it's a banger. >> so, do I need to talk more about my. prom? >> [laughter]. >> No, trust me, you did enough. >> Oh, okay. >> No, when you're home schooled though, the home school prom is literally I. think because everyone's home schooled, it's probably just more chill. Everybody. goes there and like actually dances and. like has fun. >> You know, everybody danced and had fun. at mine, too. >> No, when I went to the public school. prom, everyone thought they were too. cool to like do anything. >> Yeah. >> That's what ours was. >> Yeah, I didn't go, so I don't really.
know, but. >> Maverick's a weird kid when he actually. goes to the dance. >> What do you mean? >> No, that's just the home school. experience. >> Not just home school. In small towns, you actually go to prom. >> Really? >> Everyone in my school went to the prom. >> That's so interesting. >> party? >> They did after, but they'd leave prom at. like 11:00 and then they'd go to the. party. >> sounds so just insanely lame, but. because I didn't go to like I didn't go. to I went to homecoming one year with my. friends, but like we didn't go to the. school or anything, but like I never did. prom or anything, so the only. >> You've never gone to a prom?
>> Oh, no. >> Wait, that's the saddest thing I've ever. heard. >> Why would [laughter] I want to go to the. prom? >> I guess it's different here. I wouldn't. want to go to those proms. >> No, No, no. I had already by that point. I had like cuz I couldn't go to prom cuz. I was a junior. >> At that point you were technically. homeschooled too. You would have had You. would have had to go to homeschool prom. >> I went to five proms. Sorry. >> Mav, that is not the flex you think it. is. That is seriously not. >> Take out the one where you were 20. It's. not cool. >> No, you know what's terrible is if like. you if like someone had to if they were. like we need chaperones at our school.
for prom, Mav would show up. To make it. six. >> No, that that would be horrible. No, the. fifth prom doesn't count though. It was. like you had to be 21 to go. What's. funny though? >> Oh, you know what's funny? This was probably my last ever prom. because I'm moving out next year in. December. >> You still have school in. >> No, I don't. >> She graduates before prom next year. What? How? >> actually walk the stage until May. So. maybe. >> You could still go to prom if you wanted. to. >> How'd you graduate early? >> I have enough. >> really hard. >> Really? >> Mhm. >> We make the LOL podcast for you and that.
means we need to know more about you and. what you'd like to hear on the LOL. podcast. So we're asking you to fill out. our short survey. As a thank you, we'll. give you a chance to win one of three. $100 Amazon gift cards. Sound like a. fair deal? Check out the survey at. lolsurvey.co. That's http://lolsurvey.co/. >> Uh yeah, Kate. Um I can take you to prom. now if you want. I Mav I'm sure can get. us in some way. >> Are you going to buy her a $1,500 dress?
>> No, no. She'll whatever's in her closet. will do. [laughter]. Actually, yeah, there's a prom coming up. y'all can go to. >> I really think it's. >> No one What? The Why do you know that? >> Uh well, I just know they do it every. year. >> I don't know. I went once. >> Rosa? Rosa Parks? Rosa Cafe? >> You don't know Rosa? >> Oh, Rosa. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. Harper was really generous. >> You are. >> She was. >> She I She's been on her good deed run. I. saw her donate I I don't I don't want to. say the amount. I don't want to call you. out, but you donated a large amount to. another GoFundMe I saw it too.
It was very generous of you. >> Wait, what are we talking about? Harper? >> She donated a large amount to another. one. She only gave mine 50 bucks. >> [laughter]. >> Hey, that's only? >> I don't know, Kate. It sounded like you. dropped a bag on the other GoFundMe. >> It was very generous. >> It's okay. I haven't technically put any. in my GoFundMe, which is kind of weird. >> a GoFundMe? For what? >> No, our for the GoFundMe one. >> one. >> Oh, the. Wait, how much Yeah, yeah, you need to. start putting some in the Rosa's. >> Yeah, I probably should do that since I. made it and all. >> you met you met her? >> It's actually better if you don't donate.
through the GoFundMe thing. >> She's selling grapes? >> Grapes? Close. Flowers. >> Flowers. She makes around 10 to 12. dollars a day. >> of look like grapes though. >> They do. >> Yeah. >> She made around 10 to 12 dollars a day. and she used to walk hours. >> This is true. >> Dang. >> Are you ready to go meet Rosa? >> We're privileged. We are very. privileged. >> Are you ready to go meet Rosa? Do you. want to go to El Salvador next time me. and Kate go? We're go We're going in. We're going in June. >> Y'all were in El Salvador when? >> That's why I made the video. You and. Brooke should both come. Everybody. Straight Straight from the Dublin show. >> You just posted it.
>> Straight from the Dublin show, we flew. there. We got back like four days ago. and I just had to have someone edit it. cuz they had to translate it. >> her translator or her. >> My friend Aaron who lives there. >> Yeah. >> But Kate speaks Spanish. But if you want. to go to El Salvador, you don't need a. translator. If you want to go to El. Salvador with us next time, we're going. in June and I asked your mom and she. said you can come with us. >> Wait, why do you want me to go so bad? >> I asked you last time and you said, "Yeah, I'll go." And then you said, "What?". >> June? It's in June? >> Mhm. >> Uh what dates? >> [laughter]. >> She's like, "I'm actually busy.". >> She's busy. She sends love and support.
>> [laughter]. >> You're on summer break, dog. >> I know I'm on summer break, but I don't. know what I'm talking about. Ariana Grande tour attend too and I. don't know. >> is Ariana Grande? >> What is it June 27th? >> Uh yeah. >> That's I'll be right in the middle of El. Salvador. >> You're lying. No, I'm being serious. We. were going to go like. >> going to Ariana Grande? >> Ariana Grande. If we don't have. >> [laughter]. >> If we don't have anything else come up, we were trying to go like yeah, that. week. >> He says naked and Ariana. Like come on. >> Ariana? >> It's Ariana. >> Is it Ariana? >> Yeah, I think it is Ari.
And he says naked like naked. >> You're naked. >> And monsters like naked. >> Yeah, you know what? I saw a sign when. we were on tour and somebody spelled. monsters with an U. Monsters. >> It was like an exterminator car or. something. >> Yeah, it was monsters and it was like we. pick up your garbage. >> Yeah. >> We can pick up the little monsters. >> But um. we were talking about gosh, what was I. going to say? Oh, Rosa. Yeah, Harper, when you're in El Salvador in like the. area we're in there's all those people.
She said she lives in the jungle. She. said we were like where do you live? She. said I live in the jungle like far away. >> No. >> it's a 30-minute car ride from the. jungle where she lives but she walks. like she doesn't have a car. And they just sleep on like literally. like a dirt floor. >> Oh my god. >> Like a little shack or whatever. >> No. >> So what's the GoFundMe for? Just like to. help her start up and do. >> Well, her daughter has. >> Yeah, he's probably going to pocket most. of it. >> Oh, her daughter has breast cancer. >> Yeah. >> But to get treatment treatment is. covered by the government Aaron said but. in order to get treatment Yeah, you have.
to pay to get to treatment like a bus. ticket, like stays in the city and stuff. and they don't have the money for that. cuz it's like a dollar bus ticket and. stuff like that. >> Yeah. >> And so they don't have the money for. that. So that's why she was like she. can't afford to get her daughter. treatment. So that's why we're trying to. get money to help her be able to. like for her daughter to go get. treatment for her cancer. >> That's so sad. That's the same with my. friend Britney. She has. uh is it called? >> Endometriosis. >> Endometriosis which is like I don't. really know what it is but she told me. about it and she was like I need to get. treatment.
>> Pretty rough. >> And I bet it is. >> Yeah, it's like do you guys know what it. is? >> I do not. Is it like where you eat. things and you gain weight? >> No. >> No, that's called life. Oh, that's just. eating general life. >> No, [laughter] I'm kidding. Endometriosis is where your uterus, you. know how like there's tissue that grows. inside your uterus to prepare for like. for a baby. >> It's when the tissue the tissue starts. growing on the outside of your uterus. >> And it starts hurting. >> Yeah. >> Oh, like your fingernail on the wrong. side. >> Yeah, and so it's like like really. really rough periods cuz it's like the. tissue is not where it's supposed to be.
and it's like. >> Oh man. >> Yeah, but it like makes you like really. really sick. And yeah, you have to go. get like surgery and stuff to get it. fixed. And even if you get surgery cuz we know. somebody that had it and had to go get. surgery. Even if you go get surgery for. it, it still is like it come back in. like 10 years. >> Really? >> Wow. Yeah. >> Because your body just keeps producing. that like. >> Yeah. It makes you feel like really It. makes you really sick. >> going to say. speaking of eating. if you guys ate one let's say you ate. 1 lb of chocolate.
>> Okay. >> Chocolate. >> I do that every day. >> Would you go up in weight 1 lb? What's. the time span? You're eating it. and then you weigh yourself. >> No, how long did How long did it take. >> No, you're sitting there. No, you're eating a pound of chocolate. in about 15 minutes. >> That's insane. Anybody who does that is. dying. >> No, you're not going to gain exactly 1. lb. >> Okay, yes, you are. If you take If you. hold 1 lb of chocolate and you step on a. scale and you are 1 lb heavier. >> Yeah, if you hold it. If you hold it. >> If you're eating the chocolate while. you're standing on the scale, you're. telling me you're going to get lighter?
>> Yes, because listen listen listen. listen. Eating it, it evaporates. >> What? [laughter] Like it evaporates. I bought Okay, tell me this tell me. this. If you eat a 5 lb bag of Sour. Patch, are you going to gain 5 lb? >> Your body is not burning enough calories. that quick. It's not. >> Yes, no, but you're burning enough. calories not to gain a whole pound. Thank you. >> You're going to be burning calories. It. goes. Water evaporates. It gets lighter. >> [laughter]. >> And. >> I promise. >> And There's another fast way to burn.
calories, but I'm not going to say it on. here. It's not eating. >> What are you saying? >> Nothing. >> Your digestive system is working when. you start eating. >> Listen, can we get some food and a. scale? Dude. >> Well, >> of M&M's. >> Wait, can we please do that? >> Yes. Oh my gosh, y'all don't Y'all are. so stupid. Okay, I'll do this. I'll tell. you what. >> If you If I could eat a pound of. chocolate in in 15 minutes. I really. could if I was not on. >> I don't think so. I don't know about a. pound. >> No, no, no, like ask Brooke. I can eat. >> 15 minutes goes quick.
>> how much a pound is, dog? >> I know how It's about It's like my. phone. That's nothing. I can I can eat a. whole pound. >> Y'all know what? Next time, we'll get a. Caniac Combo from Cane's. We'll weigh. it. It'll probably weigh like. >> Why Caniac Combo from Cane's? >> Cuz those are heavy, dog. It'll probably. weigh like 2 and 1/2 lb. >> the whole meal? >> Yes, I'll eat that whole meal and I will. not weigh 2 and 1/2 lb heavier. I. promise you. >> We need a scale right now. >> You will burn calories. You It'll It'll. evaporate in your mouth as you eat it. >> a scale and I'm going to get a pound of. chocolate. I'll be back. >> No one's eating a pound of chocolate. right now. No one. >> You're eating a pound of chocolate. [laughter].
>> a pound of water instead. >> Yes. >> Yeah, water. >> Wait, no, water's not the same. >> Water weight. >> That'll [laughter] That'll hold. Yeah, I'm with you. Water weight holds. >> Yeah, water weight. >> But. >> Wait, so if water weight holds, then how. come food doesn't hold? >> It's different. It's different textures. It's different. It does different things. to your body. >> funny because. uh you can melt chocolate into a water. texture. >> I can't. There's Wait, do you actually believe. this? >> I know this. >> You believe this? >> I'll look it up right now on chat. >> know. >> You're going to gain a pound, my guy. >> No.
>> I promise you. >> If I eat a 1-lb chocolate bar in 15. minutes, will I weigh 1. >> You can weigh water. >> Not without a cup. And then are you. going to eat the cup, too, to test if. it's a pound of water? >> Oh, yeah, you're right. >> Maybe like a baggie or something. >> You would just weigh the cup when it's. empty. >> [snorts]. >> And then minus it. >> Yeah. >> I'm coming. >> Okay, Kenzie's coming. >> I don't know what she found a pound of. >> I'm excited to see. Oh my gosh, I'm not eating all that.
I'm I'm just [laughter]. completely not eating all that. >> You have to. I got you some sour stuff. >> Oh, thank you. >> I got you about seven Mr. Beast bars. >> talking to your mic? >> Mr. Beast bars. >> Thank you. [laughter]. >> I gave Blake all my Mr. Beast bars. >> I got some Skittles. >> Thank you. >> I had those cakes loaf of bread. >> Oh, loaf of bread? >> It's an M&M. >> Okay. All right, Cash, step on the. scale. I'm not eating that much sugar. And that's why I said a candy apple.
combo. I'm not doing that. >> you bread, lots of carbs. >> you weigh. >> See how much that bread alone weighs? I. bet that weighs half a pound. >> I'm not eating that. >> of bread right now. You ate half of my. bread. >> I'll eat something as a hobby, but I'm. not. I'm not going to give myself a heart. attack and make my heart pace faster. You know what happens then? You got to. get a pacemaker cuz you overworked your. heart. >> Pace that. >> And I'm not doing that. >> the scale. >> You made it pace faster. >> Go on the scale. >> I will not be weighing myself for the. world to see. >> You know what Cash did in El Salvador? >> Yeah, you weigh yourself. >> No,
I'm a girl. >> Yeah, and I'm a dude. Cash, you just do. it. I mean, I'll weigh myself. >> to back up your claim. >> care about weighing myself. >> No, you do. You're embarrassed. Let's. see how much he weighs. >> Hey, I was like 45 lbs. >> Dang. >> No, back up. Why why does it say cuz he's on carpet? >> lbs. >> What the. >> You need to get like a wooden Is it in. kilograms? >> [laughter]. >> Let me see that. >> I'm really skinny.
>> Watch out. What is it set to? >> I just know if I were to step on it. right now, it'd switch to like. >> Kenzie's. Why do I weigh more than Cash? I only. weigh 45 lbs. >> [laughter]. >> What is it? >> Oh, is it cuz it's on the carpet? That. doesn't make sense. Where did that big piece of wood come. from? >> I don't think I ever want to step on a. scale again. >> Put the scale on there. There you go. Okay, here we go. >> Is it Are you sure it's in pounds?
>> All right. >> 175. >> On the dot. Now we know. >> On the dot. >> That's impressive. I never hit the dot. >> Okay, 175. >> Now you got to eat that. >> I'm not eating candy. >> Okay, at least eat the bread. It's. nutritious. It's organic. >> weighs. >> No, you have to weigh yourself first. before. >> Well, I'll weigh this up now. It won't. go to two. What the.
Well, did the candy not weigh. >> I don't know. >> This candy weighs nothing. >> That means it's good for you. >> Yeah, it weighs nothing. >> I don't know that that's exactly what. that I think your scale is inaccurate, Kate. >> Probably. I like it that way. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, I bought a scale today at Target. for my mom. And. >> What? >> You bought a scale? >> Well, >> That feels like you're fat-shaming your. mom. >> Yeah. >> No, she asked me to. And um and what's. it called? I tried her scale and then I.
tried the new one and the new one I was. like 5 more pounds more on it than the. old one, which is weird. >> Yeah, that's So, >> pounds more. >> You know what? >> What What's really unfortunate is like. when you are at home and you weigh. yourself and you're like, "Okay, yeah, that's how much I weigh." And then like. you go to the doctor or something and. they're like, "Go on, hop on the scale.". And like you're wearing like jeans and. boots and they're like, "You don't have. to take anything off.". >> And then it was like 210. Okay. >> suddenly you gain an extra 20 lbs at the. doctor. >> Cash, huh? I really really need you to. get on the scale and. >> Matt, I told you I'll do it next episode.
when we have actual food. I'm not like. you, okay? I'm not going to eat an. entire bag of M&M's in one sitting. >> He lies. >> Why not? >> I asked like four other people and I was. like, "Do you think Cash is healthy?". They're like, "No.". >> I don't care what you asked people. I. know what I can see with my body. Kate, Kate, tell him, Kate. Tell him. >> No, Kate's opinion doesn't matter right. now. >> Kate. Tell him. >> Tell him what? >> That I eat a snow cone? Medium to large? Guess what? My heart starts racing. I I can't do that anymore. >> [laughter]. >> I can't do it. >> large?
Yeah, I'm an extra small type guy. >> Yeah, eating a large snow cone in 5. minutes probably isn't good for. >> No, I get a small. Me and Kate split it. Sometimes a baby. Listen. >> You all do not split it. Kate has. [laughter] one split and you eat the. rest. >> You're not low sugar and you're not low. sugar. >> but I am semi low sugar. >> [laughter]. >> I've definitely changed. You all want to. hear the day in my life when I was um. like when I before I found out I was. about to be pre-diabetic? >> Sure. Before I found out. You're not pre-pre. You're not even pre-pre, are you? >> No, so I went to the doctor and my mom. has the same thing. It's where your body.
doesn't process sugar like. as fast as other people. >> you find that out? Did you take like. blood work? >> Yeah, I went to go get my blood work. done. >> I need to go get I want to get blood. work done so bad. >> They told me they were like, so about. like two about a year ago I'd say, they. were like, "Yeah, your um cholesterol's. a little high like. >> Dang. >> Well, because that's like salt and. stuff, isn't it? >> Wait, how often do you get your blood. work done? >> Uh I'd say every 3 months. >> What? Why? No. >> do. 3. >> For what? What's the purpose of that?
>> Just to check if everything's doing okay. like. >> I I've never got my blood work done. I. knew this was bad. >> Dude, we're probably cooked. >> Wait, but let me tell you my story. So, after I came back from where I you know, the mental facility, I um. I what's it called? I got my blood work. done done again because it was my time. to get it done and they were like, "Yeah, your uh cholesterol's pretty high. and your triglycerides are high.". >> Ooh, I don't know what that is, but. triglycerides don't sound good to be. high. >> they told me they were like, "You're. like literally you're in the normal. range, but you're in the high normal.
range. So, if you go a little bit. higher, then you'll become pre-diabetic. or pre-diabetic." And then they told me. that like your body doesn't process. sugar. I was like, "How come Reese, like. my sister doesn't have um high blah blah. blah or whatever?". >> That's your first question. They're. like, "Harper, you're diabetic." She's. like, "Well, why isn't it Reese?". >> No, because. >> [laughter]. >> me and Reese eat around the same like. diet and stuff. And me and my friends. eat around the same diet too cuz we're. all around each other all the time. That. doesn't matter though. It's my body. So, they were like, "Yeah, your body just doesn't process the. things like the way other bodies do.". So, I was like, "Okay, so I'll just. change my diet." So, um.
where was I going with this? How you How. you change your life? Oh, okay. So, yeah, before what I would do in the. morning. I was at my skinniest, by the way. So, I. don't know what happened, but this is. when I was at my skinniest, my least. amount of weight. Thank you. But, my least amount of. weight like I lost 41 lb like me, and so this is what I was eating. So, in. the morning I would get a grande caramel. ribbon crunch Frappuccino, which is like. already.
too much. And then a grilled cheese, and I would eat that for breakfast. And. then a Frappuccino is not like ice. cream? Yes. So, you get ice cream and a. grilled cheese? That sounds literally. Mavericks. That sounds great. Then. then I would go to pre-diabetic. >> [laughter]. >> that I'm diabetic now. Then I would go. to. to like probably like either. Waterburger, let's say, and I would get. a kids burger with nothing on it than. meat and the bun, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. And.
that's already too much. Ice cream. again? Wait, this is all before school? Don't. tell me dinner has ice cream. >> [laughter]. >> No, this is like a day on the weekend. This is just breakfast. This is like a Saturday morning. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, Saturday morning. Saturday morning. after IHOP. And then for dinner I would go to like. Chipotle, and rice is all carbs and rice. turns into sugar. Isn't that weird? I. feel like rice should be healthy. And then a carne asada, and that's like. oil based.
And then some chips on the side and a. probably back then I would probably. There ain't no way your daily intake is. still going. >> [laughter]. >> I'm probably just getting like a normal. Coke. And then later at night me and my. friends are having a sleepover, so then. we get a bag of chips and eat the whole. thing. So, in total that's probably. around 4,000 to 5,000 calories each day. of my life. No, but the thing is I was like 90 lb. when I was doing this, but I was like. growing and then I got like I don't. know. I was super small, but then I. realized that I had a really fast.
metabolism, so that's why I like I. wasn't profusely gaining weight. But, um. >> Dang. >> my sugar intake was going very high. So, now a day in my life is I get sugar-free. coffee, which is probably causing. cancer. And then I go home and eat some. cheese. Um. >> Eat some cheese? >> That's oddly specific. >> I eat a lot of eggs. I love eggs. >> Eggs are good for you. >> Like scrambled eggs. They have literally. zero everything. >> thought eggs were bad for you. >> No. Why would. >> Eggs are like one of the only good foods. for you like in the world. >> for you. >> And then I like to eat grilled chicken. Of course, I still have like.
a lot of like I I still I I like like to. balance it out, but now I eat more. healthy things. Like and you can ask. Brooke. You've definitely seen a change. in my diet, right? >> For sure. >> Brooke said, "For sure.". >> That sounded like sarcastic. >> [laughter]. >> She said, "For sure.". >> No. Me and Harper used to eat like. insane. >> Like like really bad. And then now. >> know what it is though about like being. a teenage girl when you like turn 16 and. you just have the freedom to drive and. go get your own food. I feel like. >> That's when it was. >> That's when it was. >> Everybody does that. >> I gained like 30 lbs. >> Yeah. >> No. Did you do that when you turned 16?
You just like suddenly just like. >> No. I didn't have any money in my bank. account to go buy anything. >> saying. No. >> Being able to like make my own money and. being able to have the like money to. spend on food was a bad idea. So, >> [laughter]. >> Make sure. >> No, like when I when when me and my. friends were in high school, too, it was. like every day after school we went to. Chick-fil-A and we would eat Chick-fil-A. like all the time. And then we would. like wake up and eat just get Dunkin'. coffee that's like a cup of sugar that's. basically. >> Caitlin is Chick-fil-A. Like when I see.
Caitlin as a fast food restaurant, >> She made a TikTok. >> she almost started crying. She's like, "I need this Chick-fil-A right now.". >> Did that one TikTok? >> Which one? >> When you came home from Dunkin'. >> I was freaking out. It was 6 weeks and I. hadn't even seen a lick of Chick-fil-A. >> She ate Chick-fil-A for like 5. >> I did. I ate it every day except Sunday. >> It says one to two eggs a day is. healthy. Do you know how many you eat? >> I I don't eat any eggs now. >> at a time. >> That can't be true. >> No, when you were eating eggs, you were. eating like a dozen of eggs a day, I. feel like. >> no. >> Did you look up the like.
>> serious. Kate would have to cook all the. eggs. She was getting eggs. >> eat around a dozen a day, too. I eat. like I eat a lot. Well, I don't Oh, wait, I don't eat the yolks because. those have the most calories and I don't. even like the yolks. So, the egg whites are 16 calories each. >> You just eat egg white? >> Yeah. >> How do you do that? >> all the time. They sell cartons of egg. whites. >> Mhm. Oh, they do? >> Yeah. >> But, it's what I do is I. It freaks me out. >> What I do is I crack it and then I mix. it until it goes down. >> Yeah. >> But, egg whites. >> How do they train the chickens to lay. eggs without the. >> Without the yolk? No, they.
>> [laughter]. >> they have like a process where they take. the yolk. >> Do they do that without the. >> The egg stays in the shell? Scrambled. eggs is the best way to have an egg. >> Scrambled eggs is so good. >> But, I do like boiled eggs. >> Whenever somebody's like, "Oh, you want. a fried egg?" I freak out. >> I like fried egg. Why? >> Why? >> It's so nasty. >> egg is just like the straight. >> Yes. >> I like that only I. >> egg white. >> Like I don't I don't know. I don't know. When somebody asks me for I'm like, "I. can't eat it." I don't know why. It's. like just a weird way to cook it to me. >> I just can't do the smell. The smell of. eggs like it's just.
>> No, the egg egg is definitely real. Like. if you eat it too. >> tell you this. I used to hate eggs. Like. I couldn't eat any eggs and now like I. eat them for every meal and I eat. probably a dozen a day. >> All right. Well, that's enough egg talk. for today. We will see you guys next. time. Peace out.
