Exposing Our Love Languages!
We have taken our love language tests, and now we are going to reveal our. results. >> Mav is definitely physical touch. >> Mav is so handsy, man. >> What? Handsy? Y'all making me sound like. a pervert. >> I see it at least once a day. This is. what you do. >> Oh, no. This can't be good. You walk up, you're like. Okay, wow. That's crazy. No, he does not. do that. No, he does. He comes and he. grabs your hips, he says, "Thank you for. doing this, baby." And then he walks. away. >> Ew, no. He does not say that. >> [laughter]. >> Welcome back to another episode of the. podcast. Today, we are going to be.
talking about our love languages. >> Our love for each other. L O V E Love. languages. >> It's going to get lovey-dovey today. What it means to me. It's going to get. awkward. No. Yeah. It's going to We're. going to start with you, Kate. What do. you love about Cash? >> Yeah. That's not love languages. >> That's a good start. I'd like to hear. it. >> Glaze me. Okay. I love It's just a quick little thing. off the top of your head. Just a quick. little. Why do you love him? Anything. Anything you got up there. Just a quick little Oh, man.
>> [laughter]. >> Anything. May May Kenzie, why do you. love me? Just a quick little. You? Yeah. >> [laughter]. >> Come on. Anybody got something to say, Mav? Me? Why do I love you? Yeah. Everybody give a quick little something. >> Because you're honest. Thank you. K- Kate or Kenzie? Anything. >> one. Yeah, you're honest. >> No, you can't. can't can't repeat. Can't repeat. answers. >> Nope. Can't repeat. I love your honesty. >> No, you can't repeat answers. Just. taking what I said. >> quick. Mhm. It's a quick segment. Quick. little thing.
I love [clears throat] when you when you. finish eating a lot of food and you do. that thing where you have to sit in your. chair kind of funny cuz your stomach is. >> Oh, I got a good one. >> [laughter]. >> Wait, what? What? Wait, what what thing are you talking. about? When you eat too much food and. your stomach gets too big, so you kind. of sit sideways cuz it hurts [laughter]. you. That That's not true. That doesn't. happen. I love I also love when you finish. eating your food and then I saw food and. I feel bad for getting rid of it and. like wasting it, so I give it to you and. you eat it. Or I love that.
>> you finish your food or when he finishes. his food like quicker than everyone else. and he's sitting around looking around. at everyone else's food. Like he's. extremely jealous, so you have to give. him your food cuz you feel bad. >> I don't love that. >> [laughter]. >> Okay, well, that's not what I Well, we're actually. >> why we're working on this [laughter]. today. >> Yeah. We need to get more. less jokes, more love today. We're going to get deep. Deep in love. >> Uh-huh. We're all going to get deep in. love. >> No. Okay. We'll do each other. Now, we're going to do the same thing. >> More love. Just This was supposed to be.
a quick warm-up exercise. Y'all kind of. drew that on. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, we're just going to as a quick. warm-up we're just going to say. things we love about Mav. Yes. Like superficial things? Just what you love about me. I love that. you always sing. Oh, I hate that. Oh, that's like so bad. He's always like walking around the. house screaming. >> Love Kate. What do you love about Mav? It's quick, Kate. You're just. I love when the song comes to an end and. he doesn't start another one. Okay.
We're not. I don't think they get this. No, okay. Hey, I did good. You're just giving. Okay, let We'll move on to the love. languages, okay? WAIT, YOU DIDN'T SAY. WHAT Y'ALL LOVE ABOUT US. >> YEAH, because y'all ruined the game. >> Y'all didn't even say real things. >> the exercise. >> Not both of you. You didn't. It was. supposed to be a nice, loving exercise. and y'all just turned it into fat. shaming and poking fun, pointing. fingers, and it's not fun anymore. It's not fun anymore. Let's try. something a little deeper. Okay. >> a week ago, though. my friend sent me So, this is like crazy.
that we're on this topic. My friend sent. me. um our love language test that we took. like 4 or 5 years ago. Oh my gosh. >> Which I have changed and I've grown. since then. But Okay, what is it? What does it say? >> like a pie chart, right? Yeah, it's on. percentages. >> Oh, wow. So, every Wait, was it. accurate, you think, before we guess. what it was? >> At that time of my life, yeah. It was. accurate. >> All right, Mav, what do you think at. that time of Kenzie's life her number. one love language was?
We didn't really do it. >> Considering she hates to be hugged by. anyone, physical touch has got to be. out. Really? Yeah. Um. hm. maybe. some sort of words. >> just to clarify, the five love languages. are physical touch quality time. gift giving. acts of service. and words of affirmation. Wow. >> Actually, you nailed that. Yeah, thank. you. >> of Service, Physical Touch, Receiving.
Gifts That's what I thought. Words of. Affir- cuz it's how you receive love, not how you give love. Oh. >> So, it's Receiving Gifts, Words of. Affirmation, and Quality Time. Oh, okay. Well, Mav, which one of do you think. What was Kenzie's most? What was my. highest one? >> or Words of Affirmation, probably. >> was the other No, you got to choose one. Wait, don't say yes Could be Acts of. Service. No, what's number one? I don't. know, man. Oh. Uh let's see. I would say probably Acts of Service. >> Okay, I'm going to say. >> Words of Affirmation.

>> That's what I was going to say, too. I'm. going to say Words of Affirmation. Kate, what about you? I really think Acts of. Service. I still think it's Acts of. Service. What was What was the number. SHE'S ALWAYS LIKE, "MAV, can you do. this?" and he just does it. Okay, now. what was the number one? >> like it's Acts of Service. Okay, what do. y'all think my least was? >> Just tell us tell us if we're right on. number one. Kate's right. >> I KNEW IT! >> REALLY? WOW, you don't know your wife. Wow. >> my top three are all very similar like. similar in percentage. Acts of Service.
is 33%, Quality Time is 30%, and Words. of Affirmation is 27%. >> And what was the other one? Oh, wait. Physical Touch is dead last. So, what's It's so sad. It goes straight. down to 10% Receiving Gifts. Uh y'all. want to guess how much percentage I have. for Physical Touch? It's not much It's. not much left. What was it? 1%? Okay, 2%? 1%? LIKE TWO. 0%. WHAT? That's a thing? You did not want. to be touched by no man. I've grown,
though. I'm better now. >> Okay. What's your favorite one now? >> Now, she can't keep her hands off me. >> [laughter]. >> Um without taking the test just off the. top of my head, probably my number one. is still Acts of Service. >> Knew it. >> Yeah. Interesting. >> know. Something about like, "Mav, can. you clean these dishes?" and he does it. I can tell it means a lot to him. He. does. And she just said you whipped. Oh. my gosh. >> that today. Literally downstairs, she. said, "Mav, can you clean these She was. He's like She said, "Mav, can you clean. these dishes while I go do this?" YEAH, I WAS SAYING, "WHY DON'T YOU DO THE. DISHES, TOO?" CASH, IT'S CALLED. TEAMWORK. To be fair, he only halfway.
cleaned one pan, but I really appreciate. it. >> a horrible woman, Mav. You know that? >> [laughter]. >> Well. >> Yeah, and you're a horrible man. You. know your wife has to ask me to fix. everything? Yeah, well. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, that's not true. That's cuz I'm. lazy. I just don't want to. >> That's cuz if you fixed it, it'd be. broken more. [laughter] No. Yeah. I. break things, Mav fixes things. It's a. dynamic duo. Yeah. Okay. Now, that. brings us to our next segment of love. languages. [laughter] Yes. >> It's a game show. It's the gift giving.
Now, I was originally going to give this. gift to Kenzie. But. >> Yes. I got everyone gifts for their love. language to see Oh, really? >> and see if their gift love language is. gift giving, receiving gifts, to see if. you like it. But this gift was. originally meant for Kenzie, but now I'm. going to give it to Maverick. Oh. Wait, how do I receive a gift? I still got one. for you. But now, unfortunately, you're. going to have to get Maverick's gift. because I decided Kenzie's gift is. better fitting for Maverick. But you. don't even know my love language. How do. you know how I receive gifts?
>> Well, I just heard something in our. recent convo that I think you need this. for, so Open up your But I don't think I. need that because. >> Open up your gift. Mhm. I'm not a. receiving gift type person. I'm really. PHYSICAL TOUCH. >> OPEN UP YOUR GIFT. I DON'T think you. need that. >> Mav for Kenzie. Oh, well. Like I said. Yeah, it was Mav or Kenzie. >> [laughter]. >> Mav or Kenzie. I need I wasn't sure who. I was going to give it to. Okay. It's hard to remember gifts. You got to. tag them. And I decided it Maverick needs it. I'm glad you came to that conclusion.
A stick? >> [laughter]. >> It's a mop. It's a mop. I LOVE THAT. >> THE TIME WHEN KENZIE'S ASKING YOU TO. CLEAN, you have a brand new mop. Yeah, except I've never mopped the floor in my. life. I I don't even know how to do. that. >> it kind of look dirty, though? >> I know. It does. It looks used. >> It looks a little used. You got to be. used mop. What are you doing, Mav? >> I'm trying to figure out how to operate. He's [laughter] going to break it. Stop. joking around, Mav. We know you know. exactly how to work one of those. That's a weird mug. >> That is very weird.
The laundry lint is getting to me. You're getting lint all over me. Okay, that's enough. Give me my gift. How did you like. receiving gifts? One out of 10. Not. well. Zero. Okay. Mav's love language is. not receiving gifts. >> Not from you. >> [laughter]. >> Let's see. who wants their gift first. >> Wait, Mav, what's your actual love Wait, we're going to get to that, Kenzie. Oh, my bad. This is not my show. What was I. thinking? >> What uh who wants their next gift? Me. Okay. I'm kind of scared. >> Wait, which one was. the it was this one. This is for Kenzie.
Well, it was for Mav and now it's for. Kenzie? No, this is Well, It's in a pink. bag. Pink bag is calling my name. No. That one said Mav or Kenzie. I was. deciding who I wanted to give it to. This one was originally yours. There was. a lot of issues at Walmart, okay? This. is your gift. >> Okay, Kenzie. Can you hand that to her? Are you sure it's not for me, Cash? I. even got a card. Do I have a gift? Uh yes, you have a gift. Did I get a. card? Yes, everybody has gifts and. cards. Oh, can I read my card? What? Do you want her to read the card.
yet or is that words of affirmation? >> Oh, that's words of affirmation. Give me. that back. What kind of game show host. are you? So, this is receiving gifts. Yes. >> I only like receiving gifts 10%. apparently, so. Is this a joke? Are you trying to be funny? No, that is. the gifts I got Kenzie. That was not the gift I got Kenzie. >> [laughter]. >> Are you trying to be funny right now? >> Okay. Wait, THAT WAS KATE'S GIFT. WHAT? THAT WAS SUPPOSED to be for you. WHAT? IT'S HARD TO KEEP GIFTS IN order when.
you have so many, okay? Here, you open. your gift, Kate. Okay, I wonder what I. got. Oh boy, a giant box of tampons. The. jumbo box. >> [snorts]. >> And it's not even the brand I use. Oh, you're the worst gift giver ever, Cash. You're not doing good right now. >> AND THEN. WHAT? A PROTEIN shake that helps. >> not what it is. It's this. Uh yeah, I know. Oh.
Oh. Uh. >> [laughter]. >> a drink that is deliciously filling and. helps burn fat. Oh. It's a fat. What [laughter] did it just Is there. anything else in here? What do you. Wait. Why would you not like that? A. drink that you can drink and get skinny. at the same time? Listen, I want to. actually talk about love and what love. really is. And you're just. >> GIFTS TO GET THROUGH. NO, YOU'RE MAKING. JOKES RIGHT NOW. >> NO, that was not a joke. Women need tampons, okay? [laughter]. That was crazy.
>> Giving that to Kenzie is insane work. I don't know if this. I mixed up all the [laughter] gifts. Everything's wrong. Well, Kenzie, this. is the gift you get now. >> [laughter]. >> This is This is Kenzie's gift. That is. not your gift. Lauren, I really hope. it's something nice in there. >> [laughter]. >> I mixed everything up. Everyone got the. wrong gift. I should have put more tags on them.
This is. >> [laughter]. >> a shirt for a man. Yeah, it's mixed up. You know But, you know, sometimes So, was this supposed to be for Mav? >> Yeah, but sometimes, you know, women. wears men's clothing. >> Sometimes they do that. Oh, these are huge. >> pair of Oh my gosh. What size is it? Do. you know what size Mav is? What does it. It's an extra large. It's all they. really had. >> [laughter]. >> Stop. You didn't even buy this stuff, did you? >> Okay, well, so I didn't get a gift.
[laughter] at all. I did it. I asked our assistant to get [laughter]. gifts for everyone. And then I told her to name tag them. so I would know whose is whose. >> [laughter]. >> And that assistant needs fired. WHY. WOULD I GET KENZIE TAMPONS? Why would. they even. >> [laughter]. >> I thought it was going to be a nice. thing to do. Why would you get I was I thought I told. the assistant, you know what I said?
What did you say? I was on the phone and. I said, "Hey, I want to get everyone a. gift for the podcast." Yeah? And they. were like, "Perfect, I'm running the. store right now." Okay. Can you get things like flowers, you. know, things like that. What? >> [laughter]. >> No one thing is semi close to a flower. Absolutely tragic. But, say they were. good gifts, what would you guys rate on. receiving gifts as your love language? Kenzie? One out of 10? Um. 2%. Even if it was a good gift? Yes.
Okay. Kate? Mm. If it was actually a gift that you. didn't send somebody else to buy. and it wasn't a fat burning drink. that you think is hilarious. >> A thoughtful gift. Yeah, if it was like. a thoughtful gift. Like kind of like how. you got honey. I tried to be thoughtful. I just hope everyone was clear on that. Well, like let's let me think back to. like when we got honey and you surprised. me with that, that meant a lot. So, I. would say that kind of gift. Like yeah, like a like.
>> Even that was my idea. >> 10 out of 10. Okay. So, what No, what is. your gift giving One out of 10, what's. your gift giving. One out of 10, probably like. uh 10. Okay, Kate is very selfish on. I like getting things. It seems Kate's. Mav, what about you? >> that's your number one love language you. think is gift giving? No. Or gift. receiving? >> 10. Yeah, well, can I not have multiple. >> like Kate and these games, Mav. She. likes all of them, actually. >> Really? Buy me things. I know, for real. >> No, no, I don't really care about.
receiving gifts. That just isn't It. doesn't really I don't feel loved. really. I mean, like I do, but it's not. like. >> He's never I've gotten him some gifts. and he's just like, "Oh.". Well, we know mine's not gift giving cuz. I've made Kate return two gifts now that. she's gotten me. >> Yeah, three. But, who's counting? Yeah. What? Can we get actually into love? You. are right. And to test that theory, I think the next one we should test is. words of affirmation. Okay. And I got. everyone cards Oh my. >> [laughter]. >> gosh. thought out very carefully. Okay.
>> Did your assistant also write the cards. out? >> No, I I actually. hereby swear I wrote the cards. Hereby. swear. Now, this one is for. You can't even You should have wrote the. name on the front. That would have been a good thing to do. >> That's what literally everyone else in. the world does. They write the person's. name on it. >> This one's for Mav. Don't open it yet. You're going to go last. No, wait, seriously. I can't trust you. >> thoughtful? You want me to go last? Don't. This one is for. Kenzie. Kenzie, here you go.
Can I open it? >> Kate, here you go. Yeah, Kenzie, you can. start and then we'll do Kate and then. Mav. What does it say? >> you. Yep. Okay. So much I could explode. This is how. much I love you. And he drew a big. circle. >> [laughter]. >> That's sweet. >> [laughter]. >> That was the kindest thing I've ever. received from Cash. Are you going to.
keep it? All right, Kate. I'm hanging it on my. ears. I LOVE YOU. >> RIGHT? >> [laughter]. >> I THOUGHT I I THOUGHT I NAILED IT, KATE. To the master chef. And then it's a. bunch of little chef. drawings. [laughter]. Oh, no. Yep. This is going bad already. Okay. Wait, wait, can I see it back? I. want to write something different on it. >> [laughter]. >> Are you changing your mind? >> Did anybody got a pen? Don't write on that. You. Okay. While you're doing that, I'm going. to read my letter. No. Okay, here we go. I don't know if we.
want to read these. All right. I love you. And it's blank. >> [laughter]. >> So, it's very funny. He thinks it's really funny. I knew I. was [laughter] going to get you. Get you. I I don't think Maverick was got. Just wait. I really fell for it. >> [laughter]. >> This is insane. Okay. >> This feels like an episode of The. Office. Here you go. Now, open up the.
first page. Okay, first page cuz it's. like a book. Yeah, now wait, read read. the front again. To the master chef Okay. with a chef hat. and a spatula and bread and. >> Now, you can open the first page. Make me a sandwich. >> [laughter]. >> Okay. May your day be a recipe for perfection. Happy birthday. >> [laughter]. >> Wait, what? Happy birthday? My birthday. is in June. Okay, I didn't know it said.
happy birthday. You wrote right. underneath it. Yeah, I didn't read the. actual part. And he said he said, "I. love you so mulch." So mulch? >> Much, much. It definitely says mulch. No, [laughter] what? M e l c No, that's. a u. >> [laughter]. >> M e l c. >> U, m u. I love you so mulch, more than. anything. Your husband, Cash. calendar. Calendar? Oh, no, I was trying to learn. how to spell calendar on that part.
>> [laughter]. >> Just ignore that. Just give me that. Maverick was trying to tell me I can't. spell calendar earlier today. >> He was spelling it c [laughter] a l e n. d e r. So, I was practicing how to spell. calendar on the card. >> [laughter]. >> That was very thoughtful. >> me the cards. Can I see the cards? Why? Just so. >> You going to reuse them later? >> Yeah. Just as evidence that you love us. They're expensive. >> Are you saving them for my birthday? Maybe. So, how would you guys rate words. of affirmation as your love language? Mav? I mean, I felt loved when the only.
card that was actually a little loving. was Kenzie's. [laughter] And I did feel. that from here. Oh, you felt It was. radiating. >> It was radiating. So, what would you. rate it? I'd say words of affirmation's. high for me. Mm. Yeah. Mav likes to be. glazed. Yes, he would. He would He would. >> [laughter]. >> HE'D BE LIKE, "TELL ME MORE ABOUT HOW. AMAZING I AM." HOW MUCH YOU love me? And. how good am I at just everything again? Uh Kate, what about you? Uh that was. pretty good, 10. Wow, >> [laughter]. >> okay. She likes hanging sandwiches.
Kinsey, what about you? Uh four. Four. Haven't got above a five on Kinsey yet. >> [laughter]. >> Okay, here's the thing. Now we're going. to move to physical touch. >> What? No. No, no, no. My words of. affirmation goes up to a 10. >> to go first? No, I think we're all good. >> Maverick and Kinsey, I'm going to have. you go first. [laughter]. No. We're good. Oh, okay. Wow. Wow. >> I'd rate it a 10. No, zero. Okay, what. did you want to talk about, Mav? Uh. well, first off, I was going to say, yeah, who doesn't I guess Kinsey, but I.
feel like everybody should enjoy being. glazed a little. I mean, it feels. [laughter] good, right? No, I I usually like that. I like words. of affirmation. Mhm. Okay. >> from Cash, it was interesting. >> [laughter]. >> I had mixed feelings. I felt like it. wasn't true. You know, a lot of emotion. just happened to you right right now in. the last like five minutes. >> Yeah. You were gifted a box of tampons. That yeah, that's a little hurtful, but. it's fine. >> Yeah. Well, it was like probably the. meanest thing you could have done. Well, I didn't get those for You did. I know. what you're thinking. You like took like. 30 minutes to decide if you were even.
going to give her the gift. It was. sitting there in your. >> cuz I was confused on which gift the. person told me to give to. It had sticking out of. >> Obviously the broom was meant for. Kinsey. Okay? The shflano was meant for you. Tampons were meant for Kate. That's the. obvious. Yeah. No. I think here's what we should do. We. should all take a love language test and. see if we get our love language correct. Yeah. We will be right back. All right, we have taken our love language tests. and now we are going to reveal our.
results. So, who would like to start, Maverick or Kinsey? Uh I can start. Um. but but before you reveal your results. um. we are we all should guess what we think. yours is I know. >> your results. Oh, then let me do mine. first cuz y'all pretty much already. guessed mine. Oh. Okay. >> So then I acts of service. Okay, yeah, Kinsey's already obviously acts of. service. Yeah. Right? >> do you think my second one is? >> Wait, Mav, right? Yes, it's acts of. service and then quality time or words. of affirmation, probably words of. affirmation. Okay. >> Yeah, I feel like it's words of. affirmation.
What do you think my second one is? No, we're just doing first. What's your. first one? Okay, my first one is acts of. service and my second one is words of. affirmation. >> Yay. Wow, she likes to be glazed. >> She likes you to do stuff and as you're. doing it, tell her how great [laughter]. she is. That's crazy. Which Mav is really good. at, so good for me. That is crazy. He. just do the dishes and then he sit there. and glaze her. I mean, I'd [laughter] do. it. That's crazy. All right, Kate, what. about you? Um well, what is. >> Wait, wait, no, no, sorry, we got to. guess. >> Yeah. All right, what do we think Kate's. number one love language is? Quality.
time. Wait, I haven't thought of I got. to think about this one cuz I got to get. it right. It's my wife. >> [clears throat]. >> Oh, I got to get Okay, yeah, I got it. If you say anything other than quality. time. >> time. It's quality time. All right, what is it, Kate? It was. words of affirmation. >> No, it's not. I think that's a lie. >> That's a lie. The test Okay, I also. don't see Kate behind closed doors. saying. >> All of us are glazers over here. We like. to be glazed. >> [laughter]. >> No, okay, wait, wait, hold on, hold on. That's what your test said. What do you. think yours is? Do you agree? Um. Um.
I don't know. I mean, definitely quality. time and words of affirmation are very. close. Okay, well, which one do you. think is number one? Uh probably. >> If I did one more than the other, which. one would you rather me do? Yeah, quality time. There we go, there we have it. Mav? I feel like Mav's is physical touch. >> Mav Mav is Wait, what about Cash? Yeah, Mav's I'll get We'll get to me, Kinsey. >> Oh, you just save yourself for last? >> Yeah, best for last, you know. Okay. No, Mav is definitely physical touch. >> Mav is so handsy, man. I know he is. >> What? Handsy? Y'all making me sound like.
a pervert. You are. I watch you You walk. up to Kinsey, you grab her and you do. words of affirmation. >> [laughter]. >> You're like. I'm telling you, he is. Mav, yours is so. obviously physical touch. I DON'T KNOW. WHY YOU DON'T AGREE. >> SEE IT AT LEAST ONCE A DAY. This is what. you do. Stand up, Cash. Oh, no, this. can't be good. Uh-oh. Kinsey's Kinsey. will be fixing your breakfast, you walk. up, you're like. Okay, wow, that's crazy. No, he does not. do that. And then he walks away. >> Ew, no, he does not do that.
>> He comes and he grabs your hips and he. says, "Thank you for doing this, baby.". and then he walks away. >> Ew, no, he does not say that. >> [laughter]. >> I see it every morning. EVERY SINGLE. MORNING. I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU GOT TO. MAKE IT LOOK like all weird. I walk up. >> Because you did do that. WHEN YOU TOUCH. HER, YOU'RE ALL WEIRD about it. You're. like No, I don't. I walk up, I go, "Hey, thanks for doing this, baby." NO, WHY DO YOU SAY THAT? IT'S SO NONCHALANT. IS THAT HOW HE SAYS IT? YEAH. >> NO, HE DOES NOT. OKAY, WELL, I THINK IT'S PHYSICAL TOUCH. YOU CAN You can imagine in your head the. other way, but it's not real. >> Okay, Kate thinks it's physical touch. What do you think, Kinsey?
Only one answer. I do think it's probably physical touch, but I think also I think it's also. uh. words of affirmation. All right, Mav, what what First say what your results. are. What's your results? Okay, starting. at the bottom with 0%. receiving gifts. Okay. >> Yeah. Second, physical touch. That's That's such a.
lie. That's 20% cap, which is tied at. 20% with quality time and tied with 20%. of acts of service. And then somehow 40%. words of affirmation. >> biggest lie. No, you're so full of I I. do think words of affirmation is. higher. Like words of af- The problem is. I when I was filling it out, I literally. felt like all of them except probably. receiving gifts was like even. Like it. wasn't like, "Oh, I want this one way. more than the other." It's like I enjoy. quality time. I enjoy it all. Yeah, it. was especially the gifts. If you had to.
pick one for Kinsey to do the most, which one would you say is your. favorite? Prob- to like do the most? >> [laughter]. >> I feel like. >> He's like physical touch. You only. choose one. I think you're choosing acts. of service. No. I think Okay, so which. one are you choosing? I don't. understand. I I If If somebody No, because let me put it this way. If. somebody only did one out of those. categories, I would not love that. person. I would hate that person. If they were like, "All I do is cook and. clean and I don't. do anything else.".
>> obviously not what we mean. We mean like. which one do you love the most? I Clearly the test said words of. affirmation. >> you think you love the most? what you. value the most. PROBABLY WORDS OF. AFFIRMATION. >> [laughter]. >> NO, NO, I THINK I THINK it actually is. words of affirmation, but Oh, you are. gaslit by the test. I LIKE TO BE CALLED. HANDSOME. It's true. Okay, [laughter]. that's enough on Mav. What about me? What does everybody think mine is? >> Yours? Wait, wait, if I had to guess. what everyone perceives me as, >> [laughter]. >> it's either.
that I like. to touch Kate. or. that it's. What are they again? Acts of service or. physical touch, quality time. Or Okay, so what is it? What is it? I mean, it could be like a combination. of things, you know, like. >> one. I'm like this combination Yeah, I. also I think yours is acts of service. Here's the problem. Is your like acts of. service and receiving gifts are like. kind of two in one cuz like you see when. somebody makes you food, that's an acts. of service, but you see it as a gift. >> [laughter].
>> So, I don't know which one it is. If someone makes you a cake, you're. like, "Whoa, gift [laughter] or. No, it's definite I think yours is acts. of service. I think it's acts of. service. >> you think, Mav? I think he likes acts of. service. because it's like, "Oh, I don't I don't. I just don't have to do that." I know, I'm so lazy. Yeah, >> [laughter]. >> but I don't think he really feels loved. by it. It's more like, "Please just do. it.". Yeah, I don't think it really is love. No, it is, I guess, because if like if. Kate didn't do all the acts of service,
I'd feel very unloved. But if Kate also. didn't spend any time with you, didn't. give you words of affirmation, didn't. physical touch, didn't anything. Mav, but I think acts of service is. definitely number one. "Don't hug me. Don't even hold my hand." You'd be like. What the Yeah, you have to have a little. Yeah, obviously everyone has to have a. little bit. But. Number one, >> [clears throat]. >> I think Well, here's what confuses me. Oh my goodness. I'm being so honest. about this. You be honest, man. What. does physical touch mean?
It means like. >> Everything, man. Like everything, yeah. No, no, no. Doesn't it mean everything? It means sitting next to each other on. the couch. Obviously we all know what it. means, that. Yeah. It also means. everything. No, I does not I do not. consider it that. See, now that's where. >> That's No, that's not No, it does. No, it does not. But that could also. [laughter] WE DIDN'T THAT COULD ALSO BE. SEEN. THAT COULD ALSO BE SEEN [laughter] LIKE. IF WE LIKE physical Yeah, because that. could also be seen AS ACTS OF SERVICE.
OKAY. WHAT DID YOUR TEST results. [laughter] say? the category of romance. falls into? Which Which category is that? I like. romance. That's my favorite. I like. romance. That's my favorite category. My. category is romance. What did your test. say, Cash? Even a bromance can be good. What [laughter] the. Well, um my my test said acts of service. I don't understand why we told to chill. That's crazy. My test said acts of. service. So, all of you guys got that correct.
Wait, wait, I wasn't listening. It says. acts of service. So, all you guys got. that correct as the test says. But. it says physical touch is a two, which is why I'm asking where the. romance part falls into. >> Well, maybe it's cuz you took your test. on ChatGPT. >> [laughter]. >> Okay. So, where [snorts] does romance. fall into? What category? All of them. No. Yeah, she have to have all of them. to be to be romantic. No, that's not the. type of word I'm looking for. I'm going.
to find a different word. Okay. [laughter] Um where does Intimacy. Baby. making. >> Physical touch. Okay, we're not talking. about that. We're not talking about. that. Okay, well, where does the thing. I'm trying. Okay, that should be cut. Yeah, no, don't cut me anyway. Where Where Where. does that fall into? Physical touch. >> Yeah, physical touch. >> Okay, that's my number one. Okay, Kate. What? Why is it that you're not physical. touch? Wait, wait, no Cash. >> Wait, does that not concern you? What? There's isn't physical touch? No,
I don't really care what theirs is. >> [laughter]. >> Yeah, me neither. Um. Listen. >> [snorts]. >> Cash. Oh. When did you. like that moment where you were like. >> This sounds like a guilty question. This. is it. This is it. What was the act of service, the quality time, what was it that you. were like, oh, I love Kate. Yeah. >> We'd have to bleep it. What? >> [snorts]. >> That's my answer.
And I don't want it to get bleeped or. cut, so I'm just saying that. That's insane. What? >> Insanity. What? Are we still cutting that? Mav, what's. your answer? >> Yeah, Mav, what's your answer? What's my answer? Of when I first felt loved by Kinsey? No, no, no, when you felt like you loved. me. I asked him this in the shower the other. day and he gave me a very upsetting. answer. >> Oh, upsetting. Also, I'd just like to. clarify mine was a joke.
Okay, I want to hear what answer I said. in the shower cuz I don't remember. [laughter] that. You basically said. there was no point in time. You're like, I don't know, just, you know, I guess uh. Yeah, I know. All the time. I don't. know. It's just whatever. I don't I. could have been in love with you then. Like when you asked me that question. Like when Mav asked me that question, I. did my first thing. >> one point like, oh, when Kate saved my. life from falling off the cliff. >> first thing I thought of was just a. joke. Because there's not an actual. answer. >> Right, it's a period of time. There's. not like, well, that one time. >> time. blue eyes were glistening in the.
sun. >> When you think of that period of time, do you think of when we were. When you think of that period of time, if you're saying there wasn't like a. specific moment, but there was a time. frame, are you thinking of when we were. 11 or 15 or 20 or Well, yeah, obviously. the time frame of when we started. dating. So, 15? Hm, yeah, I guess. >> Or before that. Yeah, that's like a. whole year. >> you like, okay, this is the girl I'm. going to marry? >> Okay, what did you have a point like. that? >> Yes. What was your point? YOU HAVE AN. EXACT moment in time. Yes, I will say. though This is bull crap.
>> is not. >> think they have this because they read. too many romance books and they think. they have that moment. >> first sight. That's what it was. The. second she laid eyes on me. It was the. second you said something just so. heroic. No, she laid eyes on me and she. knew. I [laughter] don't think so. >> This wasn't like it wasn't like when I. decided like I love Maverick. It was. just when I decided, you know what, I. could marry this person. It was actually. when we were watching the new Kung Fu. movie. I remember you telling me the. Kung FU PANDA MOVIE. WOW, THAT'S WHY. THAT WAS YOUR HALLOWEEN COSTUME? NO, but. it just happened out that way. Yep.
So, what was the moment? I remember she. said when Maverick was singing all the. songs in the movie, she really liked it. for some reason, which me personally, I. would have walked out of the movie. [laughter]. theater, so I don't know how you got. that vibe, but congratulations, I guess. >> this before. And I'm just AS CONFUSED AS THE FIRST. TIME. IMAGINE YOU'RE ON A DATE WITH a. dude that you're just like sort of. seeing and he breaks out in Kung Fu. Panda song during the movie and you're. like, this is the [laughter] That That. guy's probably pretty cool. >> didn't give you the ick, that gave you. the wow, this is my one true love. I.
MIGHT HAVE CALLED the date OFF. >> LIKE, I GOT to film this to capture the. moment. HE'S JUST LIKE, EVERYBODY WAS. KUNG FU. >> [laughter]. >> FIGHTING. I HAD NEVER SEEN like. >> She's uh so handsome and sexy. Wow, just. the way he walks. >> like a funny side of Maverick. I'd only. ever seen like very serious, like our. dates were like more like interviews. almost and I got to know like his heart. and everything, but I never actually saw. him be like just I'm confused. >> Well, I'm just as confused because I had. never [laughter] seen someone sing. during a movie that's actually.
They always tell you to shut up and be. quiet during a movie. >> remember him singing. I don't remember. singing in the movie. Oh, I know you. did. >> I remember being funny in that movie. >> allowed like or was he just like. whispering in your ear like, everybody. was Kung Fu fighting? No, I'm pretty. sure. I'm pretty sure he was like in his chair. doing the Maverick thing like. And then anytime something funny. happened, he was like. >> [laughter]. >> And I was like. >> That's it, that's all it That's all it. took for Kinsey. She was like It was. like almost the. >> You would have lost it if you had have.
saw me at the Minions. >> [laughter]. >> Oh my gosh, the Minions movie was. insane. >> thing your wife didn't see me watching. the Minions. Were you there? Uh yeah, he was. >> Yes, he was. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I. was dying laughing at the Minion movie. No reason. >> was laughing. Everyone was looking at. me. I thought [laughter] it was. hilarious. They were like, bye-bye. Bye-bye. And I thought it was so funny. and everyone was like, I'm like. laughing, I'm dying and then I like I. have this moment where I look to the. side and our entire friend group is. looking at me like.
>> [laughter]. >> I was like. Okay. Thought it was funny. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Yeah. Yeah, no one No one No. one Yeah, not funny. Okay, what was the. moment you. you realized that was so amazing? Um. But uh you know, this is actually like. kind of kind of sad Oh. and Okay. I. don't mean to put 14-year-old you on. blast, Dang. but it made me like realize. that like you are like. not that you like have emotion, but you.
had never been like any sort of like. seriousness like at all. And this one. time we were literally it was when we. were like 14 or 15. We were on FaceTime. and we were just like talking like. normal and then like we went quiet for a. minute and like we didn't talk for. probably like a couple of minutes. We. were just on FaceTime and then you were. like, Kate? And I was like, yeah. And. you were like, "Thank you for never. asking how much money I make. No one. ever does that for me. They always just. straight up ask and it's really weird.". >> And he was like. >> See, she had the same thing. It's like. she realized, oh, he's a full human. He.
has all the sides. >> Yeah, I was like Like it was like so. genuine. I don't know like. >> What? I don't know why I would say that. >> No, were you trying to brag about how. much money you make and she wouldn't. ask? >> like it. And she wouldn't ask, so you're. like, thanks for not asking. No. A lot. of people ask that. >> Cuz when I just heard that, I was like, that sounds like a weird brag. I think I was. reverse psychology on [laughter] you and. it made her fall in love. I guess it. worked. I know it's Do you remember that? Uh no, I actually have no. >> You're sitting on FaceTime. You're 16.
years old and you're like. "Thanks for not asking how much money I. make.". >> And you know what's funny? >> everybody always asks me that and it I. really appreciate you not caring about. how much money I have cuz IT'S A LOT. >> [laughter]. >> I DON'T I APPRECIATE YOU NOT EXACTLY. WHAT it was and I took a completely. wrong I appreciate you not asking about. the tons of money that [laughter] I. have. You know what's funny, too, is that's the time era me and YOU WERE. BROKE. >> [laughter]. >> WE WERE HAVING TO MOVE OUT OF OUR HOUSE. because we had no money left. We were a.
little broke. >> [gasps]. >> We literally used all our money on rent. and we just ran through all of our money. and I'm not kidding, we didn't have any. money for next month's rent, so we had. to move back home. >> And I was like, Kate, just thanks for. you not just understanding, you know, I'm not moving out of my house cuz I'm. broke. [laughter]. I'm just, you know, We just always. wanted an apartment. Yeah, I always wanted to downsize. We. always wanted a two-bedroom apartment. instead of a five-bedroom house with all. our friends, you know. >> [laughter]. >> Uh but that's that's actually crazy cuz. like yeah, that was the exact time. moment. >> No, it wasn't. >> Yes, it was. >> No, it was before we started dating.
You guys moved out of your apartment. >> Right before we started dating. >> moved to your apartment after we'd. started dating. I see, so he was like. You were living in LA when we first. started dating. Babe, thanks for not. asking me about how much money I make. cuz it's zero. No, that's what I'm. saying. >> Yeah, no, no, no, babe, trust me. When. we lived in LA When we lived in LA is. when we were running out of money. Yes. >> Yes. >> But it was before me and you were even. dating. >> Yes. So, I lived in LA. Yes, but you. weren't moving out yet. Yeah, but I we.
were still running out of money. We were We were skimming by EVERY MONTH. >> SAID. WHATEVER YOU SAID made me feel bad. I. was like, dang, does like every single. person he hang out with just like care. about him for his money? Yeah, that was. totally a sympathy card. And then you. >> I mean I I I was a player, dude, the. whole game. I'm locked. I I played the. game good. That's all. >> so many plays. If that one didn't work, you had another one in your back pocket. Yeah, I was like, let's open up my. playbook. Let me see what I got. What? I like really fell for that, too.
>> Yeah, I guess that that was I take that. back. It really worked and I had no. money, too. Like I remember actually one. of my friends talking to me, they were. like, isn't that a house pretty expensive? And. I was like, yeah, it is a expensive. rent. And they were like, how you. affording that? And I was like, oh, you. know, it's just not. And I remember talking to him, he was. like Uh that means you're only going to. be able to afford rent on that house for. like another like four months. And I was. like Mhm. Mhm, yep. That's what that means. And. yeah, that's crazy that I flexed on you. like that. Dang, man. Wow, Mav, what was your.
moment about Kinsey? Ooh, that's the thing for me. Like there. wasn't ever a moment of like I'm I'm in. love now. Okay, change the question. >> I want to ask you, Cash. >> Wait, before we move on to that, when. did you know you loved me? >> They're thriving for answers. Look at. them. They're like, I WANT TO ASK YOU, MAV. CASH, ANSWER ME NOW. >> THEY WANT it on record, too. >> Yeah. I want to know when you first. thought that about me. Cuz I may have been gaslighted, but at. least I had a moment. Um Well, Kinsey.
asked Mav first. Yeah, I did. Of when I. knew I would marry you? Yeah, I don't. want to know when you felt like you were. in love with me. I want to know when did. you say, I'm going to marry this girl. Um. probably like three days after our first. date, I was like, yeah, probably going to get married. That's. funny cuz three days after our first. date, I thought you hated me. That's I'm sorry. >> [laughter]. >> I mean, very mixed signals you were. sending her. >> I mean, not three days. Maybe it's like. four or five days.
But it was in that first week. >> After me and Kate did the second we. started dating, I was like, oh yeah, we'll get married. I was like, I'm going to marry her. I. was like, I think it was like, if we go if she. still goes to Montana, we'll get. married. Pretty much where I was at. Man, that's crazy. I almost canceled, too. Yeah. Yeah, I was like, "If she. doesn't go to Montana Were you too. scared to go to Texas? Yeah. I wouldn't have gone. >> [laughter]. >> Wait, what were you scared of? Going to. Montana with Joe Stark. >> it was supposed to be like 10 people and. then everyone backed out and it was just. us and y'all and I was like, "I'm going.
on a family vacation.". >> in. We were going on a ski trip. Uh me, Mav, and Kate and then Mav was like, "Hey, can I invite other friends?" We're. like, "Yeah, bet. Like, let's run it.". We invited Parker, we invited Michael, we invited. >> Mav quote-unquote invited all these. people Uh we did. You invited people, too. >> Quote-unquote all of them canceled. except for quote-unquote the girl he was. interested in, which made it like a. double date vacation. Actually, I can. back Maverick on this cuz my friends. were supposed to go, too, and my friends. even canceled. Oh, so it wasn't. quote-unquote?
No, it was not quote-unquote. I was. freaking out. Oh, okay. Yeah, you know, I thought that, too, because Mav made it very clear. He was. like, "Nobody make this feel like a. double date. Nobody.". I was begging one person to come. I was. like, "Somebody, Michael, Parker, please. someone come. Please." And then before. the end of the trip. they were they were dating. Yep. Mhm. Touchdown. >> And my my moment is the same thing. Is I. was. pretty much as soon as I made the. decision to date Kate, I was like, "Hey,
let's date.". Honestly, didn't take much convincing. KATE WAS LIKE, "FINALLY, YES. I WILL I. ACCEPT." AND. I was like Jeez. I was like, "Okay, yeah." She accepts. You know what's. crazy? And then I was like, "We're going. to get married now." And Kate was like, "But I'm only 12." And I was like, "Yeah, but don't worry." Did you tell. Kate that? He basically he was like. We were which is crazy, but we were. about a month into dating when he really. was like, "I want to marry you." And she. was 14. >> No, I remember testing you when y'all. were dating.
>> Yes. He was testing you like a phone. case. >> He was literally. Yeah, he would do things to test her. >> I was 15. I turned 16 today. He'd do all. kinds of things to test her. One day, he. was like, "Kate, I think. I want to sell everything and just live. in a tent." I did. I said, "Kate, And. this man legit goes and buys a tent and. spends a week [laughter] in the woods. I. did. I said, I I tested so many things. and Kate in the first month I said, "Well, the first thing I said is I said. [laughter]. I Now, this needs background story to.
it, but I did tell Kate in the first. week of dating I said, 'Well, I don't. want a fat and lazy wife.'" Oh my god. To see how she would deal with that. And. she [laughter] took it okay. And now. So, you looked at your girlfriend who's. like 12 and you're like, "Listen, Can I. I don't want a fat and lazy wife." No, no, no. This is what happened. She's 16. I was 16. 16. And you know, what it was. I was going to the gym and I was like, "Hey, uh. you know, since you're like going to. marry me now, we go to the gym, right? That's like the thing we're going to. do." And I was like I was like, "Hey,
let's go to the gym." She's like, "But I. don't want to." I was like, "Want? >> [laughter]. >> Gym is about discipline. It's about hard work." I was like, "It's. not about. >> how the turntables I was like, "It's not. about wanting to go to the gym." And she. was like, "I just don't I'll go with. you, but I don't want to work out. I'll. watch you work out." I was like, "You're. going to WATCH ME WORK OUT?". >> was like, "That means I'm going to have a fat AND. LAZY WIFE EVENTUALLY.". >> You said that? And I did. I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE of. words. Listen, I was actively I was.
playing high school softball. I was. working out every single day intensely. >> than Cash. I was I was I was doing WAY. MORE NO, NO. I WAS DOING way more. physical activity than you were. I had. like a three or four-day weekend, which. was like huge in my life cuz that meant. I didn't have to go to softball. practice. I didn't have to lift. I. didn't have to work out or do anything. Cash was like, "Come to Oklahoma." I was. like, "Bet." We get to Oklahoma. This is. my weekend to like rest, to not do. physical activity cuz I do it every. single day. He's like, "Let's hit the. gym." I'm like, "Oh, no, honey. I work.
out all the time, every day. I I have. to. I have no choice.". >> him telling me about your workouts and. he said they were laughable. That's not what I said. Well, actually, yeah, that's what I said. Yeah. >> [laughter]. >> There was There was. >> You agreed WITH ME, TOO. ONE DAY SHE. dragged me to one of these workouts and. I said, It was First of all, I would not have. done well in school. I do not do well. with authority, especially when people. that do not have authority try to give. you authority. >> [laughter]. >> And this. super senior human being. uh They don't understand like seniority.
This senior who is a grade above Kate. thinks she has rights over Kate and I. was like, "What is happening RIGHT NOW? NO, SO. WHAT HAPPENED WAS A STUDENT TELL YOU. when to work out? During not going to. listen to me when to work out. The. during. >> That sounds insane. During like. off-season or like when the coaches. actually had like no say in your. workouts, it was. highly highly encouraged that the. seniors are going to do workouts and. everyone else should join them. Now, the.
coaches couldn't physically say the. seniors are doing workouts and you guys. go. But if you didn't do it, once they. had authority over you again in a few. months, you would either literally be. kicked off the team cuz you just chose. not to go or they would like literally. like punish you and make you run. bleachers for three hours straight until. you quit. >> girl plans a workout the day of and. wants all the girls to show up. I said, "That's completely unreasonable. This. super senior, I don't give a crap, okay, about this high school student.". >> not have made it in high school sports. I made it in college sports. I was like,
"I don't give a crap of what this super. senior is telling you.". >> Calling them super [laughter] seniors? And Do you Super senior means that it's. like their second year It means they've. been a senior for they're like 20 and. they're still in school. >> it was. senior dating a freshman. No. A super. senior is somebody that should have. graduated like three years ago and. they're still seniors. Well, then that. fits them perfectly. >> [laughter]. >> Because they're that dumb of a person. >> And I was like, "Ain't no way you're. going to try to affect my day when I. don't even go to your little school and.
I'm going to show up to your prac your. little practice.". >> were you going? Exactly. Because we were. dating. And she Kate was like, "Hey, we. have to leave cuz I got to go to. practice." I was like, "Since when was. this practice scheduled? An hour ago? Who scheduled it? One of my classmates. Where? Is this. even part of the school? No, we're just. going to the park." I was like, "This is. complete Tell her no. We don't have. time." Kate's like, "I cannot tell her. no. I cannot tell her no." I couldn't. I. would have gotten in trouble. What? And. then we show up to the park. And they run up. a little tiny hill, like a dirt mound,
like a little dirt mound, about. four times. I'm not saying it was a real. workout. >> equivalent to about a. a minute and a half workout and then we. leave. I'm not saying IT WAS A REAL. WORKOUT. IT WAS BECAUSE THE SUPER senior. didn't like running. AND I WAS. [laughter] LIKE, "I COULD SEE IT ON THE. HILLS." AND I WAS LIKE, "SHE'S ALREADY. DONE. SHE'S ALREADY DONE.". >> WE LITERALLY. >> one that NEEDS TO WORK OUT. NO, NO, NO. WE DON'T NEED TO BE HERE. NO, NO, NO. We. if we showed up and we ran our hills so.
when coach asked, "Did you guys run your. hills?" Yes, sir, we did. Yeah, it was. just to say you did it. >> [laughter]. >> You have to. go Yeah, you have to go do it just to. say you did it. But it wasn't a real So, when Kate worked out these, you know, five days A WEEK NO, NO, NO, NO. THAT. WAS THE WORKOUT THAT TO SAY YOU DID IT. THAT WAS NOT during school. The time. you're talking about. TO GET YOU. TO SAY YOU WENT to the gym. [laughter]. Yes, but the other times that I was. actively working out and like like the. coaches were there and like the strength. and conditioning coach and like I. actually was working out those times.
You never saw that cuz it was in the. school building or on the like school. field and you were never there. That's. only during school year. No, so during the summer there's summer. workouts, too, that you go to and the. like strength and conditioning coach. >> I don't think you guys understood about. your sports, right? Listen, if if Oh, he's going to You're just going to. Listen, I don't understand IF YOU'RE A. TERRIBLE PLAYER, IF YOU'RE A TERRIBLE PLAYER, UNFORTUNATELY, you have to probably get. whipped around do what everyone says. >> [laughter]. >> But if you are a good player, which you. guys claim to be, and you guys claim.
that your coaches begged you to never. quit. Well, I never said that. What? Was. that a true statement, though? >> to quit. But if you tried to quit, would. your coach beg you to stay? No, probably. not. So, Kate was a terrible player. No, [laughter] I had a I had a rough coach. in high school. She's like, "I'm better. without you. I don't care if you're the. best player on this team, you're gone.". Oh, okay. Well, Kate's coach always. begged and begged her to stay. >> coach. You literally said your high. school coach begged you to say you. couldn't quit. I don't care about. did or. Did you actually work out? >> [laughter]. >> Yes, I did. I did. And then that's why I.
got so upset though when Cash was like, "I don't want a fat and lazy wife." I. was like, "First of all, I'm 115 lb.". >> That's what you miss I'm saying. Were. you my wife? No. Were you fat? No. Were you lazy? So, why. do you take just the fat and lazy part. and not the wife part? The whole. statement I said was. a futuristic statement. So, you're like, "I don't want a fat and. lazy wife. I'm not fat and lazy." Well, why didn't she say she was my wife? Cuz. obviously she's not my wife. So, I was. saying in the future Yeah. if all you do. is.
you He had no authority over you. He was. just some senior from A DIFFERENT SCHOOL. TRYING TO MAKE YOU WORK OUT. >> [laughter]. >> AND I WAS LIKE, "You're going to go work out when your. little friends tell you to, but not when. your soon-to-be. fiancée soon-to-be She doesn't know. that. I told her already. >> We were like probably. a month [laughter] into dating. When did you tell Kate. "I'm going to marry you, Kate." Well, probably around that same time where I. said I don't want a fat and lazy wife. I. said, >> I think it was on that same trip. It was. like.
I'm going to marry you. You want me to. be your wife? Well, that's what I'm. saying. I was like, "Listen, we're going to get married, right? Like, we should do that, right?" And she's. like, "Yeah." And I kind of came in. strong with that, I will say. I came in. a little strong for a 15-year-old. >> were you dating at that point? Freaking. literally like a month or less. He was. freaking out though because obviously. when your boyfriend of three to four. weeks is like, "I want to marry you.". And then you're like, "Oh, yeah, like. sounds great, you know?" Like, you know, you're just saying that. Then he walks. out into the living room where his.
parents, grandparents, siblings, everyone is out there and he's like, "Yeah, so we're probably going to get. married uh as soon as you turn 18. >> "OH MY GOSH.". >> "WELL, I DIDN'T I DIDN'T SAY I didn't. say as soon as I" You just told me we. were going to get married. >> Well, no, I was saying THAT LIKE ONE. DAY. >> BUT YOU SAID AND THEN HE HE took me back. to the room and he was like, "Why are. you disagreeing with me in front of. everyone?". >> of everyone under pressure. I LITERALLY. HAD A HEART-TO-HEART with her. THE WHOLE. FAMILY'S OUT THERE. MULTIPLE TIMES. >> YES. NO, LISTEN. Multiple times I've had. heart-to-hearts with Kate. It wasn't an.
hour before we went out in the living. room. Multiple times on phone calls, everything. We've talked about getting. married, >> how we want to do it. how we want to do it. >> 18, all this stuff, right? And then. casual time with. >> Time to show the cards. >> Yeah. Casual time in the living room. hanging out. Granny and Grandpa are. there. Whole gang. And I'm like, Kate would probably. >> and Kate would probably want to get. married when we're 18. And my grandma. and granny are like, "No need to rush.". And I'm like, "Yeah, and I don't know. I. think we probably want to get married. when we're 18. We've known each other a. long time already and blah blah blah. blah." And Kate's like keeping quiet. like this.
And everyone's like, "I'm like, right, Kate?". >> she's like Everyone's like, "Well, we. want to hear from Kate. We want to hear. from Kate. Kate, what do you want?" And. Kate's like, I don't know. >> I don't know. And everyone's like, "See, Cash, you need to stop You need to stop. putting pressure on her. Bad boy." I was. like, "What?" And then afterwards, my. granny, my grandma, and my mom, and I. think my sister as well, all four came. to me separate individual times and was. like, "Hey, you need to slow down. You.
are putting way too much pressure on. Kate. You she just she you wait too much. pressure." I was. I was like, "All the other times when y'all aren't. around, she's telling me about how she. wants to marry me and how how she wants. to marry me and I'm the one. >> "No, I'm being pressured. I'M GETTING. PRESSURED. >> I I GET PRESSURE FROM HER.". >> [laughter]. >> AND THEY'RE ALL LIKE, "NO, we saw her in. the living room." I was like, "No, no, she she fooled you. She's playing you.". >> She's playing you? [laughter] And then I. went back into the afterwards. I was. like, "Kate, um after we're alone, I was. like, "Kate, why did you Why did you act.
And she's like, "I don't know. I just. got scared." I'm like, "Oh, great." I. don't know. You called me fat and lazy. earlier and I was like, "Do I want this. [laughter] for the rest of my life?". No, and listen, the fat and lazy. comment, obviously, I probably shouldn't. have said that. I think we all know. >> [laughter]. >> But I think. >> then later that night, THE CONVERSATION. GOT BROUGHT UP That's also just how we. talk around here. >> That's what I'm saying. So, it's like. Yeah, I could say it to Kenzie. Kenzie. could say it to me. >> on at all time, we probably would be. canceled. Like if Kenzie wasn't going to. work out. >> Like with her so pretty like socially.
unacceptable. Your wife is about to be. fatter than you. >> [laughter]. >> I can't believe it cuz you're not going. to be able to carry her to the gym if. she doesn't go today. No, like like if. Kenzie skipped the gym. >> And that would get you canceled. >> skipped the gym and that's just how we. all talk around here. >> If Kenzie skipped the gym and everyone. else went to the gym. And then the next. day she skipped the gym. On the third. day, I'm I'm saying something. It I don't be a joke, but there'll be. some realness to it. >> Yeah, it's all jokes. But anyways, like. Mav was saying, uh when I was testing. Kate, then one time, very very early on.
into dating, I was like, "Listen, Kate, I might. Cuz listen, my bank account was getting. low, right? And. >> [laughter]. >> I was like, "We might. just like live in a tent. Like that's a. possibility. Cuz I. >> Y'all are so similar, it's crazy. >> I was like, "I want to live a mini-. minimalistic lifestyle. And I don't want to be like in a. What's that called? An indoor. Huh? Indulging. I don't want to be like. an indulging American. I think about all. the third world countries and all that. I was like, "I want to Hey, buddy. What?
>> You are an indulgent American. >> Yeah, I know. I That was my fear. And. here I am. Uh and I was like, "So, you. know, we might like live in like a super. super cheap place or like maybe even a. tent and stuff." And she's like, "A. tent?" I was like, "Yeah, a tent." And I was super serious. >> She's like, "Do you even know how to set. up a tent?". >> [laughter]. >> He's like, "I'll have to learn." And. then I went and bought a tent. And you aren't. >> [laughter]. >> And I set up a tent and I just went by. myself. >> a children's tent. Not even a tent that. could fit two people. It was like it. [laughter] was like 18 bucks.
And I went and bought a tent and I went. and camped by myself for like 3 days. straight. And then I was like, "Yeah, so. that's not for me.". >> [laughter]. >> No, but I did have Kate fully believing. she was going to live in a tent. No, Mav. Mav went that route, too, and was like. telling me how like if if he lost. everything tomorrow, then that's how the. same thing, okay? And then days after, he's like, "So, yeah, you're going to quit your job?". And I'm like, "Well, no, you don't have. any money. Like I can't just quit my. job. Like where am I going to live?". He's like, "Oh, don't worry about it.". I'm like, "No, I'm going to worry about. it." He's like basically told me he's.
broke and then is like, "Quit your job.". Insane. But also, within 5 minutes of becoming boyfriend. and girlfriend, he told me we were. getting married in 6 months. And I was. like, "No, no problem there.". >> my girlfriend?" She said, "Yes." I said, "I can't wait to get married." But. literally, [laughter]. that's exactly. No. I'm not kidding. That's exactly how. it And then you just looked at me and. gave me the creeps. I [laughter] was. like, "I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND NO. MORE.". THAT'S HOW YOU FEEL? NO, HE LITERALLY HE. WHAT DO you mean? Aren't you women. always the one that's like, "Let's get.
married now." No. Not when it's serious. No, he So, he asked me to be his. girlfriend. I say yes. Well, actually, he asked me. I said no. And then I told. him yes on the plane. Maybe within the span of 3 minutes, he's. so excited. He's happy. And then he. holds my hand. He's like, "Oh, yeah, we're holding hands." He's like, "So, we're going to get married." And I'm. like, "No. No, we're not going to get married, actually.". Yeah. And here we are. >> And here and here we are. And little did. she know, his physical love language The. thing was, she didn't know, just like.
you, >> [laughter]. >> I had a bunch of those plays in my back. pocket still. That didn't work. Thanks for never asking me about money. [laughter]. You suck. What? I really believed you. >> It's just like. >> [laughter]. >> Like I was so Like I don't even know. I. was so I was a fool. That's the best. >> Yeah, no. Yeah, 14, 15. >> I ever tell you that I was actually. worried about that for Cash? What? That. Kate at like.
>> Oh, Mav was highly concerned for my. intelligence level. >> I was. >> [laughter]. >> Mav had a serious conversation with me. Kate was younger. She was probably like. 14 at the time. >> 14 or 15. I had a serious conversation. with Cash. I was like he was like. talking about getting married. And I was. like, "Cash, this was dead [laughter] serious. No. joke." I was like, "Cash, she dumb." Yeah, he he was like he was. like, I didn't say dumb. He was so. concerned for my intelligence level. He. was like, "Are you sure because she doesn't got a. whole lot going on upstairs." I.
[laughter] was like, Oh my god. And he. was so worried. >> know her. No, I I wasn't the smartest. Listen, whatever Cash [laughter] I'm not. kidding, Kenzie. Whatever Cash said. was law. >> [laughter]. >> Was literally law with Kate. >> It was it was crazy. >> Uh when they first started dating. She. had like No offense, you just couldn't. stand up to Cash. You couldn't tell him. no. Oh, no. I was like, "Wow, you're a. completely different human being." I was. 16. And so, it was like you're we're I'd. watch it. I think my parents thought the.
same thing. >> Yeah, they were like they were like, "Oh. my gosh, Cash like reigns over her." We. were just like, >> good. It was almost more of a worry for. Kate than even for YEAH, NO, EVERYONE. WAS [laughter] WORRIED ABOUT HER. I WAS. WORRIED ABOUT ME. HIS ENTIRE family was. worried for me. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they. were like, "Kate, you don't really seem. to. have any thoughts. Your thoughts are. [laughter] just Cash's thoughts." And I. was like, "That's the way it's going to. stick.". No, yeah, I'm just kidding. Um but Kate, what do you got to say about that? I. don't know. I don't know when the.
intelligence started. >> still. No, once [laughter] she got a. ring on her finger, as soon as it went. on, she was like, "Let me tell you what. I THINK NOW.". >> [laughter]. >> NO, I developed like thoughts. eventually. >> [laughter]. >> Like I don't know when they started. flowing in, but they showed up. eventually. Yeah. Yeah, she got opinions. now. I did. Eventually, I did, yeah. When did you start getting opinionated. and you're like pushing back? >> How old was I when I like We already. married. >> married when you really started getting. opinionated.
>> over time. Very slowly. Even before the. wedding, you started getting. opinionated. I was definitely. opinionated by the time you guys were. Yeah, because it started to become a. problem with me. I WOULD ASK HER. SOMETHING and she'd be like, "Yeah.". And I was like, "No, don't just yeah." I. was like, "Tell me something.". And she's like, "100% I agree. Yeah." And I was like, "No, I'm asking a YES OR NO QUESTION. RIGHT NOW. DON'T SAY YEAH." And she. literally would not ever give me any. sort of conversation in that way. I was. like, "No. No, no, no, no, no.". >> the yes or no questions. It was the. things where you would ask like.
I mean, on a scale of like 1 to 10, like. one being um to solve world hunger, we. should just kill all the hungry people. And 10 and 10 being um we should we. should just move all the hungry people. to the United States so they're not in. the places where food doesn't grow. She would have no like. on the spectrum, it would it would be. >> That was a horrible analogy. Sorry, it. was a horrible analogy. I mean like you. could say two extremes and then she'd. just be like, "Yeah.". No.
And then you'd be like, "Well, what. about those people?" And she'd be like, "Oh, yeah. Yeah, those people, too. Yeah. [laughter] Well, what about the. ones that. Yeah. And then she would literally do it where. it would just be me or her. and I'd get frustrated. I was like, "Kate, tell me an opinion." [laughter]. No, I mean, I was dumber than a rock. Tell me an opinion on something. Kate, which game do you want to play? Monopoly, Monopoly, or Life? Uh. Which game do you want to play, Cash? I. [laughter]. was like, "I'll tell you what you want.". I might play Monopoly. Yeah, Monopoly's. good. But I could also play Life. Life is good. Yes.
