Streamer Clavicular Runs Down Person in Livestream: Police

Is there. going to be an arrest? Are there going. to be criminal charges? Was this. justified? Was this self-defense? prior coverage of Bonnie Blue to now. streamer Clavvicular whose real name is. apparently Braden Peters according to. TMZ. So, there is video that just came. out was over the holiday December 24th. of him allegedly running over somebody. with his car. It is wild. It was. apparently part of a Christmas Eve live. stream. And in the footage, you see. Clavvicular behind the wheel of a Tesla. Cybert truck when someone appears to. jump on the hood of the wheel screaming,

wagging his tongue, making faces while. holding a phone, so possibly recording. himself. And someone in Clavicular's car. seems to say, "Start driving." And that. is when like a moment later the car. moves and you hear something get hit. So. it looks like the car ran over the guy. and you hear a female voice in the car. scream and panting. And Clvicular looks. like rather calm, almost unbothered,

appears to just continue driving and. then says at one point, "Is he dead?". followed by hopefully. Now we're going. to show you this. We're going to not. show you the actual alleged hit, but. everything before and after. Take a. look. >> Oh my fucking. >> drive.

>> Oh my god. off the card. He was on. >> Oh my god. >> Is he dead? >> I don't know. >> Hopefully. >> So now the first thought is, is this. real, right? Was this a sketch? Was this. staged? I mean, it's really hard to say.

at this point of the broadcast. I mean, I I'm not really sure. What we do know. is that Clavvicular has reportedly been. kicked off the platform kick. So in the. wake of all this and then we got to talk. about this. He then appears Clavvicular. appears in the wake of this to post on X. an AI image of him behind the wheel of a. cyber truck running over a guy wearing a. hoodie. The caption reads, "Play stupid. games, win stupid prizes." There's also.

apparently this other video that he. appears to have posted on Tik Tok where. it's the same tagline where he's. shirtless just posing in a selfie form. in front of a camera. Again, same. tagline. There is another video that. popped up of what appears to be a. parking lot officer, so wearing this. reflective vest, giving his two cents on. the situation that appeared to happen. right there. You trying to leave up out. of here?

>> Nah. Um, that's my friend right there. >> Oh, man. Come on, bro. He He the good. guy. >> He is. >> the on the ground. The bad guy. He did. what he was supposed to. Run his. >> Okay. All right. All right. Brother. safe. He did everything. >> Came out and helped you. >> BRO, I WASN'T NOWHERE NEAR HERE. I had. left. >> I don't know him, right? But when he was. coming in, >> I just said, "Hey, bro, put me on the. vlog.". >> I see him coming out. And it was some. guys. It was some guys around.

>> No. Yeah, I don't think I saw that. I. was with him. >> What was transpired? But you could tell. it wasn't that night. >> People like that. I came over here. >> And then there's another video where. Clavvicular seems to be talking to two. guys in these reflective vests saying. the people were surrounding his car that. they had guns that he couldn't see what. was going on seemingly that he was, you. know, afraid. So basically the question. is if this wasn't staged, if this is. real, was this self-defense? Is he going. to be criminally charged? You know, there's another video we actually have.

to talk about, too. So, it appears that. Clavvicular is then speaking with. another popular streamer, Aiden Ross. They're talking on the phone, and this. is where Ross gives Clvicular some. advice. What are they are they saying. they're going to detain you? >> They're not They haven't spoke to me. yet, but I'm not going to say anything. without um a lawyer. >> Correct. >> Just do not say anyone. Yes, of course I. do. Look, um just hang tight. Record.

Don't say anything. >> Um don't say don't answer questions. Um. and and and just don't say anything, okay? I I let it play out, but you need. to be recording. Somebody needs to. record you. >> We are. Yeah, the whole thing's being. recorded. >> He also makes a comment about how he. knows he needs a lawyer, and a lot of. the lawyers he knows don't celebrate. Christmas, meaning essentially they're. Jewish. First of all, I should also say. this. There is some speculation online. that the same person who appeared to. jump on the car who allegedly was run. over by Clavicular that that person.

previously allegedly harassed Clvicular. and another streamer Neon a few weeks. ago at an event throwing liquid at them. I can't confirm that for sure it's the. same person. But although we haven't. seen an official statement from. Clavicular, although we have kind of. that AI image, and I'll get to one other. statement that he made as well or that. he appeared to make as well, TMZ is. reporting that it's also not clear if an. investigation has been launched by. authorities. We also don't know the. status of this person that he allegedly.

ran over. I will say this is. interesting. James Fishbach, who is. apparently running to replace Ronda. Santis as Florida governor, seems to. have taken to X. And on his page, there. is one post that reads, "Clavvicular did. nothing wrong." It's followed by another. post that says, quote, "What Clavvicular. did was clear-cut self-defense against a. thug who attempted to assault him. Stand. your ground." Now, as we sort out the. potential legal situation for.

Clevicular, just to bring you up to. speed if you don't know who he is. So, Pop Rant says that he's a 20-year-old. American streamer. He appears, by the. way, to have quite a big following on. social, including over 600,000 followers. on Tik Tok. A lot of the content seems. focused on appearance and aesthetics and. something called looks maxing. Is. anybody else tired of those natural. carnivore type of guys who are straight. up fear-mongering and hindering people's. results in the process? Like, bro, it is. 2025. If you think that pharmaceutical.

drugs and research chemicals can't. benefit you in some way, then you are. out of your mind. But, bro, eating a. carnivore diet can fix your acne. Yeah, so could Accutane, but it'll do it in a. fifth of the time. So, what is the. comparison here? criminal defense attorney Eric Fattis to. talk more about this. Eric, uh, thanks. so much for taking the time. Um, first, at the time of this broadcast, doesn't. appear to be an arrest of any kind. Why. do you think that is? >> Well, gosh, I mean, for for a guy who's. so into looks maxing, this is kind of a. bad look. Um, that being said, it's a. little bit surprising that there haven't. been charges after a person was. allegedly run over. This happened a. number of days ago. We would think that. if there was a strong case against.

Clvicular, um, we would already see a. court case kind of uh, beginning to to. be initiated. That hasn't happened yet. I'm wondering if the prosecutors are. weighing this potential self-defense. claim and deciding whether it makes. sense to move forward with charges. >> Now, to be clear, I don't know where. this happened. I don't know if it was in. Florida. Maybe it was in Florida. possibly based on the response of. Fishbach. Um and I think Clvic may live. there. But um I guess the question is if. we don't see an arrest, I do wonder if.

it's staged, but from what I'm seeing a. lot of pe comments online, I think. people think it's real. And even judging. from his reaction afterwards, I mean, I. know there's staged events, but you tell. me. If there's no arrest right now or no. reported arrest, um is it possible that. this was staged? you know, that that could be an. explanation here. We it wouldn't be the. first time that's happened, Jesse. We've. seen other influencers uh actually be. accused of staging shootings and there. were no uh criminal charges that. followed from those alleged shootings.

And so um this, you know, would not be. the first time that that something. extreme was perhaps staged and put on. social media for likes and views of. which Clvicular gets a ton. >> Yeah. Look, I think it's very hard to. judge, but it seems like everything I'm, you know, reading online and it seems. like this happened. So, let's say for. arguments like this was real. Someone. jumps on his hood is doing this. You, you heard a little bit of his commentary.

where he was talking about how he, you. know, people are surrounding the car, guy jumps on his hood, is acting nuts. Um, if he thought he was armed, is there. a situation where this could be. self-defense? You know, I mean, what. else should he have done at that moment? You tell me. Could it be self-defense? >> You know, the lynch pin of self-defense, Jesse, is whether he had a reasonable. fear of imminent bodily harm. And so, you know, he talks about uh claiming. that he saw a firearm through clothing. is how he describes it. Um, and perhaps.

felt harassed. That's a subjective. belief, but it has to be reasonable as. well. Also, um you need to typically. take measures um that are uh the least. extreme measures necessary to mitigate. the threat to you. So, could he have. swerve the other way? Could he have. called police? Are there other measures. he could have taken besides running a. person over? All of those are. considerations when deciding whether. this is a valid self-defense. >> How bad how potentially harmful is it to. a defense of his to say afterwards or.

allegedly say afterwards, is he dead? hopefully and then post that AI image. Um, you know, you tell me if that's a. pro if that's problematic, >> you know. Um, it it shows me a few. things. It shows one that uh if if those. statements are true, this wasn't an. accident. It wasn't something um you. know where he says play stupid games, win stupid prizes, that seems like. valitional conduct. that seems like. something uh uh that was knowing and. intentional uh where someone he felt.

wronged him and and then he brought. about this uh unfortunate consequence. for them. That's not an accident. That's. not a mistake. Um that that that seems. like retribution. And so um I think it. cuts against any argument that this. might have just been an accident of him. running this guy over. Uh but but. doesn't conclusively undercut. self-defense. Uh, assuming authorities. don't believe it's self-defense, what. potential charges could he be facing? And it's tough to know because we don't. know the status of this guy the who was.

allegedly run over. But you tell me what. I mean, what are we looking at here? >> Sure. I mean, anytime there's a vehicle. involved, that can be an instrument of. death. We've all seen a horrific um. vehicular uh cases like this. So. potential charges could range from. something less serious like simple. assault uh to possibly vehicular assault. more serious. If there was serious. bodily injury that was sustained as a. result of this that could up the antie. even further in in terms of charging.

God forbid if this person were not to. survive. You could even be looking at. something like um criminally negligent. homicide, reckless homicide, possibly. even uh knowing homicide, which is. usually secondderee murder. Um, thank. heavens. It sounds like according to. reports that the alleged victim uh is. going to live. >> and the I just going back to this issue. if he jumps on the hood. It'd be one. thing if he was pointing a gun at him, right? You know, if he's pointing a gun. at him that that you could argue it's. clear, maybe more clear-cut. self-defense. Is it just getting.

somebody out of your way if you're. surrounded by I guess the question is, and I see this a lot in celebrity cases, like they're surrounded by paparazzi who. are just surrounding the car. They're. trying to get through. It's frustration. You're not supposed to run anybody over. But if this is somebody who's jumping on. the hood doing this, is a weapon needed? Do you need that the that person to have. a gun for there to be self-defense? I. mean, what reasonable fear of safety, reasonable fear of your life? What does. that look like if he wasn't in fact. armed?

>> It's a really important question because. not only must um clvicular have a. subjective fear of imminent bodily harm, that that fear would have to be. reasonable. So, would a reasonable. person in his position believe that they. were facing imminent bodily harm from a. guy who's just on the window of a. vehicle? You know, you look at did this. guy make any threats? Um, did he. brandish any weapons? All reports uh. seem to indicate no. Uh, and and so what. really is the harm? Simply feeling. harassed or or feeling annoyance or.

inconvenience, that would not be enough. to legally justify striking another. human being with a car. And so I think. that the self-defense claim here uh is. on shaky ground. >> And you have multiple witnesses, right? You have the people who are apparently. in the car, but then you got the guys in. the reflective vests who again, I don't. know if this was staged and they're just. saying it. I don't know. But if they're. complete bystanders who were there, they. seems to support uh Clvicular's version. or clvicular stance. Um how important.

are they to this? Uh, you know, certainly witness testimony is going to. be critical for the prosecutor. determining whether to bring charges. And if it goes to a jury trial phase, surely the jury's going to want to hear. from the onlookers. What did you see? What did it look like to you? Did it. seem threatening? That kind of thing. Um. but uh but yeah, I just have concerns. about and and you know, one thing. they're going to look at too, I believe, is is Klavvicular's. past experience with harassment and. threats because that can inform. someone's subjective belief as to.

whether they are for reasonable fear of. im in harm. I was going to ask you that. if there are past episodes whether it. was this guy or somebody else who may or. may not look like him um of him of him. being harassed constantly. that is a that's a factor in the. analysis particularly if it's the same. guy if it's the same guy who was. allegedly harassing him and stalking him. and and I you know there was this video. of someone throwing liquid on him that. all matters does it matter if it's the. same person does it matter if just. people have been harassing and stalking.

because he's you know he's notable. figure more people are coming up to him. that matters. >> It certainly matters. And if I'm. clvicular, I am I am having him or if. I'm if I'm representing it, I I am. having him go through all of his DMs, all of his prior emails where there have. been threats, where there have been. harassment, where there have been uh. insults and that kind of thing because. that could make a person hypervigilant. They could be looking, you know, over. their shoulder saying, "Hey, is someone. coming to get me?" And then lo and. behold, there's a perhaps a stranger on. your windshield who's not letting you.

move and who's acting erratically. That. could certainly give rise to a fear in. some that they're facing imminent body. harm if the person on the windshield is. the same person who previously harassed. clvicular that only increases the. strength of the um self-defense club. >> If he didn't stop, if he keeps driving, so aside from the comments that he. allegedly made, if he keeps driving, um. is that really bad for his defense or. says, "Hey, listen. I'm still driving. away. The reason I had to drive away is. I thought that there was a threat. I'm. not going to stop after getting out of.

the way. Hey, the whole point is I had. to drive because I I wanted to get out. of there. Or does not stopping is that a. problematic for a self-defense argument? >> You know, I think it cuts both ways. Like you said, I think he could explain. it that, hey, I had to get the heck out. of there. I was worried for my safety. On the other hand, most jurisdictions. have a law requiring everybody if. they're in uh a motor vehicle collision, especially with a pedestrian, they have. to report that to police. And so he. probably had a legal duty after leaving. the scene and and rendering himself safe. to report that to police to, you know,

make sure this guy doesn't die. And. instead, you know, his response was, "Is. he dead?" Hopefully, uh, that that's. different than what the law requires him. to do in such a scenario. And. >> and this isn't a case where it's. necessarily just one person's version of. events over another. You I think you. have two cameras here, right? So you. have the person, the camera view from. inside the car and then I mentioned the. guy who jumped on the hood. He seemed to. have his phone out. So maybe he was. recording or taking pictures. How. important is that digital evidence going.

to be? >> It it it's um so helpful because it. shows multiple perspectives. It shows. what clavvicular may have been. witnessing. It also shows um you know. what was going on outside. You you get. different vantages, different angles. And you know, when you're looking at. that footage, uh, regular people are. going to look at and see, hey, can I see. a firearm in in this, uh, alleged. victim's person on on their clothing? And if you can't, then that, uh, undermines the credibility of.

Clevicular's claim that I saw a firearm. Furthermore, I'm curious as to whether. that alleged victim uh, was found with a. firearm at the scene. If he wasn't, that. makes it even more dubious that. Clvicular is saying he saw some kind of. weapon. Also, that clip with Aiden Ross. where Aiden says to him, uh, you know, you have to be, uh, I he was either. recording or you have to be live. streaming right now. You just have to, you know, keep it going. Why is that. important? I mean, I'm not trying to get. into the mind of Aiden Ross. I'm not. trying to, he's not a lawyer by as far.

as I know. But why would it be important. for Clevicular to keep on documenting. what he was doing in the aftermath of. this incident? You know, I I think there. perhaps might be less legal benefits to. that and more so business benefits. Look, these influencers, they are. documenting so much of their lives, the. majority of their lives, it seems. And. and and certainly this was a hot topic. uh over the holidays. I imagine. continually streaming it is only going. to bring him more attention, more.

followers, more views, more likes, and. that's really the business he's in. But. when it comes to the legal side, you got. to be careful about what you're. documenting. you might want to have. private conversations with an attorney. uh or with the police that that. shouldn't be publicly disclosed and you. run the risk of all of that public. disclosure when you're in this kind of. line of work. >> By the way, that comment uh from the guy. who's running against the Santis, stand. your ground. I mean, I guess that would. be if this wasn't Florida, that that's a. classic uh example, right? You you have. no duty to retreat. Um but then it like.

I don't know, does that apply there? Because usually you're talking about if. you're facing an imminent threat, you. don't have to run. You don't have to uh. call police. You can use deadly force to. defend yourself or someone else. Um but. this is interesting using a car to get. out of that situation. Is this a classic. stand your ground example? It it it's a really important question. because I certainly think that that law. could be applicable and and you know. we've seen in similar jurisdictions. where there are protests and people sort.

of impeding traffic and and some folks. of some political orientations have have. said, "Hey, that's not right and the. driver should do what they need to do.". Um, that being said, you know, if a. driver has options one, two, and three, left, straight, or right, and they. choose the option where there's a human. being uh in the way when they could have. chose going left or going straight, I'm. not sure that that stand your ground law. is going to absolutely absolve them from. that choice. I think they might have a. have a uh duty to exercise force that is.

proportional to the risk and that. mitigates the risk uh in a way that. doesn't uh cause undue harm. And that. would be going left or straight, not. over this human being's body. >> And I gotta ask about Kick as well. So. if this is true that Kick reportedly. kicked off clvicular, maybe even banned. him um or removing his content, at the. very least is what the page is what the. reporting indicates. So according to the. Daily Mail, maybe it's not surprising.

because this is a platform that got into. hot water recently for hosting some. alarming content. I it's been reported. that French authorities launched an. investigation after a 46-year-old uh. Frenchman died on camera after what was. described as quote 10 days of torture. and humiliation. You have France's. Minister for Digital Affairs Clara. Chapaz who announced that the government. would take legal action against Kick for. negligence over its failure to block. dangerous content. And by the way, I saw.

this right before we came on. It appears. the clavvicular uh took to X and said, "Bro, if atkickstreaming doesn't unban. me by today, I'm going to spark on. Twitch." WTF? What are your thoughts on. that? >> Well, you know, we've seen uh what what. some people might say is kind of an. alarming trend towards the extreme when. it comes to um these live streaming and. what they're showing, the the the events. and incidents uh that are being depicted. and and just sent out to the public. Where's the line? Where there's got to.

be some line. We're not going to show, you know, terrorist decapitations on. these things. So, where is the line? Is. it running over a human? It sounds like. kick has decided, hey, that might be the. line for us. Uh, and and so there. there's not only an optics and and a PR. and a business component to it. Uh, but. there's also a legal component in other. in other countries. It sounds like they. could be in hot water for publishing uh, you know, uh, abhorrent types of. incidents like this. And and so they've. got to make some decisions here. And I. think there's got to be a line drawn.

This might be that line. >> Look, this is making its wave on social. media. I I wanted to talk about it. It's. a really disturbing incident. Um I I. hopefully we get more details about what. happened. Um but Eric Fattis, I I really. do appreciate you taking the time to. break down what we seem to know at this. point, but we're living in a day and age. it's hard to know uh what what's. happening out there.
