Luxury Car Thief Slams into Cops at Burger King Drive-Thru

Romeo at a Burger King drive-thru leads. to his arrest on December 12th of last. year Branson Brooks Albert was. confronted by Renton police while. apparently in the middle of yet another.

crime spree newly released body cam. footage obtained by lawn crime shows. Albert's desperate attempt to evade. arrest which ended in a high-speed crash. and a foot chase we checked out Albert. on truthfinder a powerful background. Albert's arrest in December of 2023. started actually a couple of weeks. earlier on November 30th when a car. theft took place at the Seattle Tacoma.

International Airport parking garage the. car in question a Sleek Alpha Romeo you. can see in this security footage that. the owner of the vehicle had rented out. his car through turo a car sharing app. when the renter returned it to the. airport garage he left the keys inside. and the car unlocked this seemingly. presented a prime opportunity for the. alleged Thief to spring into action so. then what followed was a crime spre that. would lead him into a fast food. drive-thru Lane in Ron Washington where. officers would eventually confront him.

after attempting to reverse out of a. Burger King drive-thru Albert smashed. headon into a police car before taking. off drive through.

Albert for EMTs to arrive back at the. scene of the crash additional officer. searched the stolen vehicle and uncover. all kinds of items inside including a. bunch of electronics and an unknown. driver.

[Applause]. back where Albert is emergency crews. finally arrived to check him out for. injuries and police do a more thorough. search on him where they find. miscellaneous computer pieces all the. while he continues to moan that he's in. some kind of pain well I was sitting. there I'm like we're going well. originally he started going up there and. then I cut him. off so he started playing chicken with. me over the fence over here we're going.

to set you up right well I was sitting. right here confirmed he's under arrest. now a search on him real. quick make sure he doesn't have anything. stitches I don't see. anything okay that's what I was asking.

following his arrest Branson Brooks. Albert was charged with possession of a. stolen vehicle and unlawful possession. of a firearm as we mentioned Albert had. previously been arrested for stealing. cars and he was actually out on. pre-trial release at the time of this. incident for pending criminal cases. including theft possession of a stolen. vehicle identity theft and possession of. Controlled Substances prosecuting. attorney Marissa nef wrote in a court. filing that he's curently been arrested.

27 times with four active warrants at. the time of this crime he was booked. into the King County Jail on a $25,000. Bond though prosecutors initially. requested that bond be for. $200,000 and after he was released would. you believe that he actually tried the. same act again just a month ago police. were dispatched to a gas station on a. report of a stolen vehicle and they. quickly ended up in another foot chase. with Albert who this time was armed with. a handgun according to Koo news news. Albert was arrested and brought back to.

jail and while prosecutors asked for. $150,000 bail the judge denied this and. instead allowed him to be released on. his own recognizance but according to. the latest Court filing Albert failed to. appear for court in December and there's. a warrant out for his arrest prosecutors. have reportedly referred to Albert as. someone who will never learn to stay out. of trouble and that's putting it lightly. to see more body camera videos like this. one be sure to check out law crimes body. cam Channel but that does it for this. episode of sidebar and again thank you.
