Hulk Hogan's Family Slapped with Rape Lawsuits
Hulk Hogan's widow is facing not one but. two lawsuits right now. Multiple Jane. Does claims Sky Daily provided alcohol. for her son's drunken house party where. one of them was allegedly raped and she. claims she has receipts. We're digging. into both lawsuits with skilled. litigator Rich Shoenstein. Welcome to. Sidebar presented by Law and Crime. I'm. Jesse Weber. Sky Dailyaly, full name Melanie Sky. Dailyaly Blea, is likely best known for.
her relationship with late wrestling. superstar Hulk Hogan, real name Terry. Blea. Now, the two got married 2023, almost exactly 2 years before Hulk Hogan. died in their Florida home from natural. causes. We covered that here on Sidebar. But now, Blea, this widow, is getting a. different kind of attention. The. one-time yoga instructor is the subject. of two different civil suits. Two. different lawsuits along with her son. Hayden hit, who was 17 at the time of.
these alleged incidents that are. detailed in these filings. So, according. to a profile that's out in People. magazine, when Hogan and Bala got. together, they both had children from. previous relationships. Hogan had two. adult children with his ex-wife, Linda, Brooke, and Nick, and Daly had three. younger kids, including Hayden. But I. will tell you some of the details. included in these lawsuits are pretty. shocking. Okay, they're allegations but. they're shocking and I want to get into. it. So let's take it suit by suit. Got. the first lawsuit. The first lawsuit was.
filed by a Jane Doe against Melanie Sky. Daily Blea and Hayden Hit and it begins. quote around 2025 Jane Doe met defendant. hit via social media and began talking. Since Jane Doe was a minor at the time, Jane Doe had been in guardianship due to. the loss of one parent and issues with. another parent. The defendant Blea. meaning the mother here learning of this. information sought to groom Jane Doe to. become a member of the Church of. Scientology. This grooming would be done through the. use of alcohol and other forms of.
conduct. And the lawsuit then references. the Church of Scientology, which. apparently has this enormous presence in. Clearwater, Florida, where Blea lives. Quote, "Defendant Blea is a high-ranking. member of the Church of Scientology and. always has been, despite public. statements saying otherwise, such as her. being baptized when married to her late. husband, Terry Blea, aka Hulk Hogan.". And the lawsuit, by the way, is likely. referencing a video that was posted on. Hogan's Instagram account in December of.
2023, showing himself and his new wife. being baptized at Indian Rocks Church. It's a Baptist church in Largo, Florida. Also, a spokesperson for the Church of. Scientology told the Tampa Bay Times. that Blea is not now and never was a. high-ranking member of the church, saying she holds no position in the. church at all. However, the statement. did not clarify whether Blea is. currently a member. So, going back to. the filing, quote, Jane Doe entered into. a relationship with defendant hit, which. was mentally and physically abusive. On.
no less than several occasions, defendant hit would physically attack. Jane Doe, sometimes due to being under. the influence of alcohol provided by. defendant Blea. Defendant Blea has been. known to purchase and/or procure alcohol. for minors to consume at her house and. even at public establishments. For. example, defendant Bala would take Jane. Doe to local bars and have Jane Doe. bring a Stanley cup which would have. alcohol. Quote, "Upon reason of belief. and based on videos in possession of. Jane Doe, defendant Bleia has provided.
alcohol for minors to consume at her. residence on several occasions. On about. August 30th, 2025, the first event for. real American wrestling took place in. Cleveland, Ohio. Defendant Blea invited. Jane Doe to travel with Defendant Hit to. the Real American Wrestling event under. the guise they could spend time together. and get to know each other. Once again, alcohol was provided to Jane Doe by. Defendant Balea, which would include. taking Jane Doe to a nightclub after the. Real American Wrestling event and having.
Jane Doe sit with Defendant Bala and. another adult female in a VIP area where. they consumed vodka. Jane Doe is in. possession of video of this event and. photos are provided below. And at this. point in the filing, there is a photo. allegedly from this event with a person. who appears to be Sky Daily Bala flanked. by two people who are redacted out. By. the way, keep in mind these allegations. of providing alcohol. It may or may not. tie into the second lawsuit, which we'll. get into. But this complaint reads, "Because defendant Blea told people at.
the nightclub that she was Hulk Hogan's. widow, everyone that was with Defendant. Bala should be allowed to enter without. identification. And therefore, Jane Doe. was allowed to enter the nightclub and. be served alcohol by defendant Bala. By. the way, I'm thinking if there's. surveillance cameras or surveillance. footage of this, that would be key. Defendant Ballea also provided alcohol. to Jane Doe prior to attending the. nightclub at said Real American. Wrestling event. All right, real quick. This is for anybody who owns a business, manages a business, runs a business. You. don't need me to tell you that running a.

odo.com/sidebar. And then the lawsuit claims that Jane. Doe actually went to live with her. Quote, "Over time and in continuation of. her attempts to groom and have Jane Doe. join the Church of Scientology, Defendant Ble allowed Jane Doe to move. into her residence in Clearwater, Florida. Jane Doe was already enrolled. in the Florida Virtual School, and. Defendant Blea decided that Jane Doe, who is now living in Defendant Ballea's. residence, would attend the Applied. Scholastic Online Academy." The lawsuit. explains that the Applied Scholastic.
Online Academy is a Church of. Scientology homeschool for children of. the church's members. Now, I'm wondering. potential school records to prove this. I will say there's also a screen grab of. a text conversation with a contact named. Sky. It's a little hard to make out, but. the message apparently reads, quote, "Heads up. This questionnaire was sent. to me by the school, and I want you to. fill it out right away. When it asks if. you like reading, you should answer that. you love reading and how many books you. read because we answered that Hayden.
didn't like reading and then he had that. big reading assignment. And we should. probably put math is the one that you. struggle with. And then there's this. other apparent message which seemingly. includes a photo of a box sitting on a. countertop and reads or seems to read, "These are your school books. If you. want to get started on anything that is. self-explanatory, I would try to get. everything done that's easy first before. we start tackling math and stuff. Now, the lawsuit also alleges that Blea had. wanted Jane Doe to send her a head shot.
And in that conversation, Blea seemingly. sends a photo of an ID card with her own. photo on it kind of as an example. And. that ID says that she is a teacher at. Applied Scholastic Online Academy. Going. back to the suit. So according to Jane. Doe, hit again this is Bala's son was. allegedly violent towards her. Quote. during this relationship between Jane. Doe and defendant hit Jane Doe was. repeatedly subject to acts of violence. where Jane Doe sought medical attention. for some of these incidents. Defendant.
Bala who was in an advantageous position. would convince Jane Doe to forgive. defendant hit for such acts of violence. On March 28th, 2026, Real American. Wrestling held an event in Tampa, Florida at the Yingling Center, formerly. known as the USF Sundown. Therefore, on. March 28th, 2026, defendant Bala. purchased alcohol for defendant hit to. have a house party while defendant Blea. attended such event. There were several. incidents that occurred at the March.
28th, 2026 house party at defendants's. residence, which would include an. alleged sexual assault of a minor. Keep. that in mind. We're going to get to. something. Now, according to Jane Doe, when she tried to tell Bala about her. son attacking her, Bala suggested or. allegedly suggested she just sleep it. off. Now, is Jane do trying to prove. that? Here is another screenshot. conversation allegedly between Jane Doe. and Bala. Quote, Jane Doe says, "And I. said, yeah, I'm okay. He said I was. being too nice." And he had came up to.
me and he shoved me all the way from the. door into the clothes rack and I fell. And then I left the house and I said, "What is wrong with you?" And all of his. friends heard it. I literally asked him. what I did wrong. And he said it was. wrong for me to be so nice because I. said, "Yeah, I'm okay to his friends.". And he's in the other room telling them. how I'm so bad and I'm a slut and all. these names. Now Sky seemingly responds, "If you're throwing up, you should. probably just go to bed, lock the door. I'm sorry he's acting out. Now is not.
the time to talk sense. always wait till. the morning. But instead of going to. bed, Jane Doe decided to call the. police. Quote, "The police arrived at. Defendant Bala's residence, which caused. an angry Defendant Ballea to have to. leave the Real American Wrestling event. and return to the defendant Bala's. residence. As a result of Jane Doe. calling the police, defendant Bala. immediately evicted Jane Doe from. defendant Bala's residence and threw all. of Jane Doe's possessions in the front.
yard of the property." Defendant Blea. made it clear to Jane though and other. victims that night that they did not. know who they were messing with and that. nobody would believe them and that she. is too powerful to be messed with. And. there's also this other apparent. screenshot of conversation with the. contact Hayden. This is important. So it. seems that Jane Doe writes what? And. then Hayden un sent a message allegedly. Hayden allegedly responds, "Because I. beg, like actually beg. I'll do.
anything, please." Jane Doe then. seemingly responds, "There's no reason. to delete anything." Hayden seemingly. says, "I know, I know. You just be. screenshotting everything." Hayden seems. to respond, "But can you answer, please, cuz I promise like whatever you want.". Jane Doe allegedly says, "Answer what?". Hayden seemingly responds, "My question, the one I deleted." Jane Doe seemingly. responds, "If I'm going to press. charges." Hayden seemingly responds, "Yeah, like redacted, please. You have. no idea. Can you please answer?" So,
seemingly worried that she's going to. file charges or press charges against. him. And according to the lawsuit, quote, Jane Doe attempted to press. charges with the Clearwater Police. Department for the incident on March. 28th, 2026 to no avail. as the same for. the other case filed for an incident of. the same date. The Clearwater police had. quietly and quickly closed out these. cases which upon reason of belief is due. to defendant Ble standing with the. Church of Scientology despite having. substantial evidence. Now, it is. important to note here TMZ did get a.
statement from Clearwater Police who. said that the case is not closed and. that media reports that it is are. inaccurate and CPD told the outlet that. they referred the case to the. prosecutor's office for possible. prosecution. And the lawsuit lists three. causes of action. Battery by defendant. hit. Intentional infliction of emotional. distress against both Hit and his mom. Bala. Civil remedy for criminal. practices against Bala, which seemingly. means they believe Bala participated in.
a pattern of criminal activity. We'll. talk more about that one, but that's one. lawsuit. I said two, right? What about. the second lawsuit filed by the same. firm? It's a little different. The. plaintiff is listed as Jane Ado on. behalf of Jane Beo, a minor child. against Melanie Sky Daily Bala and. Hayden Hit, as well as John Ado and Jane. Cedo as legal guardian of minor child. John Bo. Do you follow that? It's a. little confusing, but as I get to the. details of the lawsuit, it'll make more.
sense. So, it begins by describing the. party that hit reportedly threw at his. mom's home, Bala's home in Clearwater in. March, which this is again while Blea. attended a real American wrestling. event. And this is the party where she. reportedly provided the alcohol, but. then goes into detail about what. allegedly happened at that party. Quote, "On March 28th, 2026, defendant hit. advertised his house party in a group. chat where alcohol would be served and. said the plaintiff, Jane Beo, would be. present and that Jane Beo was free.".
Bleep. There's a derogatory word. Jane. Beo claims that she was given a can of. forloo by John Beo. Okay. Quote, "Upon. taking a sip from the can of forloo, Jane Beo began to lose consciousness. John Bo without any consent from Jane. Beo raped Jane Beo for several hours. while defendant hit guarded the door to. the bedroom. The suit then goes into. graphic detail about what the victim.
claims happened to her and we won't get. into that part but she reportedly had. serious trauma to multiple parts of her. body. And she claims that John Beo raped. her both with and without a condom and. claims that she saved one of those. condoms in the hopes that it might. provide DNA evidence. And she claims. that Blea got rid of the other two as. well as a set of bloody sheets. Okay. Well, complaint states, quote, "Dendant. Ballea and defendant hit owed a duty of. care to provide a safe place for Jane Bo.
to visit, not a place for Jane Beo to be. drugged and raped. Defendants John Ado. and Jane Cedo owed a duty of care to. Jane Beo to educate their son John Bo. about consent. Jane Beo sought medical. help from the incident of March 28th, 2026 which included a rape kit which was. performed by the Hillsboro County. Sheriff's Office. Jane Beo has suffered. severe emotional distress, PTSD, and has. to deal with several medical issues. which resulted from the rape which.
occurred at Defendant Bala's property. Defendant Blea should have never allowed. her minor child at the time, 17-year-old. defendant hit, to have a house party. without supervision. Should have never. purchased alcohol for said party since. none of the guests in attendance were 21. years old or older. And as a result of. this conduct, Jane Bo was viciously. raped by defendant John Boe. The causes. of action for this lawsuit, sexual. assault and battery against John Bo, intentional infliction of emotional. distress against defendant John Bo, and.
negligence against defendant Bala. Now, Saturday, Bleia posted a video on her. Instagram page, and this was seemingly. in reference to the lawsuit, but it. really only addressed some specific. claims or some specific allegations. In. fact, the caption reads, "I've been a. Christian for almost 20 years. The only. church I've ever taken my husband to is. a Baptist church. Venting dot dot dot. >> I was born into Scientology and then I. grew up and I leaned into my.
grandparents Episcopalian faith and. that's how I raised my kids since they. were born and half their life. Episcopalian and then the second half. Baptist. This lie started from my stalker who has. stalked me for years before I even ever. met Terry. My son wanted to go to. electrician school and drop out of high. school. So, I signed him up for an. online class so he could do like a dual. enrollment. It just teaches normal stuff. like biology and math and all that kind. of stuff. And it uses a study technology.
and it doesn't have anything to do with. any spiritual anything about. Scientology. I know about this school. because I used to be a Scientologist and. I'm just trying to get my kid his. credits so he can graduate and go to. electricity school. >> Okay, let me bring on uh trial attorney. litigator Rich Showenstein to talk about. not one but two lawsuits here. Um Rich, thanks for taking the time. I first want. to start with this one from Jane Doe. against Blea against Hit. Lot of really.
disturbing allegations in both, but this. one is very unique. Again, battery by. defendant hit, intentional infliction of. emotional distress against both. defendants, civil remedy for criminal. practices against Blea. So again, meaning they believe that she. participated in a pattern of criminal. activity. What are your initial. impressions of that lawsuit? >> Well, I think you're right. There's a. lot there and it's provocative because. it's really two things. One is it's sort.
of uh an allegation of physical assault. which you know is an incident at this. house party and then there's this. undercurrent of the idea that they were. grooming the plainif uh for Scientology. So that is all ladened in the complaint. as well. And I don't know that that. would be separately actionable. Uh, and. obviously, you know, it's going to be.
hard to penetrate and find out what the. truth really is here. >> But, but you have these text messages. that I think are really interesting. I. think text messages, as we've talked. about numerous times, whether it's a. civil case or a criminal case, can be. really powerful evidence, right? It's. kind of contemporaneous thinking of the. people sending them or possibly. So even. the message where it appears that Hayden. hit is writing Jane Doe about this fear. of her pressing charges and you couple.
that with the allegation that she. attempted to move forward with charges. with the Clearwater Police Department. and I don't know what records they would. have to to establish that she did this. Um that would be quite significant I. feel. >> Sure. And and I agree with you that. those text messages, you know, get your attention when you're. reading this complaint. But here here's. the thing I've learned in many years of. civil litigation. You need all the text. messages. >> Yes.
>> So somebody plasters a couple text. messages in a complaint. I want to see. the whole chain. I want to see what was. before. I want to see what was after. I'm not going to jump to a conclusion. based on a couple text messages. They. could be out of context. Now, I think. this complaint states a claim for. actionable relief. So, the case ought to. move forward to discovery and then the. parties will get all of the evidence. >> But, but even the message or alleged.
conversation between Jane Doe and Blea, right, the mother here, where you know. she apologizes that her son is acting. out, locked the door. How do you provide. context? How do you provide an. alternative narrative to this? And. again, these are just allegations, but. when you say you want the full. conversation, what would you be looking. out for? >> Well, I mean, obviously, I want to hear. what the mother's story is about this. does suggest that this is behavior that. has happened before and that he acts out.
and her advice is, you know, go to bed. and deal with it in the morning, which. is not great advice and that's. concerning because it suggests a. pattern. It's exa it suggests a. proclivity of him to do this and it. suggests the mother knew about it. So I. would be looking out again in terms of. the text messages. I want would see. would want to see the entirety of the. back and forth and obviously here I want. to hear what the mother's story is. I.
don't know what her story is. I only. have the complaint. >> What is civil remedy for criminal. practices? What is that? What is that. cause of action? >> So. crimes. We talk about this difference. between civil and criminal. You can be. charged with a crime or you can be held. liable civily. And some criminal. statutes. don't allow an individual plainif to sue. for relief merely because there's a.
violation of a criminal statute. You. can't go sue somebody just based on. violation of a criminal statute. You. need a civil wrong. And I believe what. this complaint is suggesting is that. pursuant to the applicable law down. there, there is a civil remedy if they. can show there was criminal activity in. this regard. I don't know why they need. it. They already have an assault cause.
of action, but that seems to be what. they're alleging. Rich, it seems that. Blea posted on social media, and I would. make the argument that it seems like. it's in reference to the lawsuit in a. certain way, not more of the specific. claims, but more the religious aspect. I. thought that was interesting. >> Yeah, I think that is interesting. And. as I said, there's that whole part of. this lawsuit is the idea that they were. recruiting this person into the Church. of Scientology, and she is distancing.
herself from that. She's saying, "I'm. not a member of that church. That's. that's not where I go. That's not what I. do." And I think, you know, usually I. tell clients, unfortunately, they shouldn't speak. publicly in the midst of litigation. because it can be used against them and. they just want to litigate in the court. But this was a very targeted statement. about a particular allegation. And if.
she's telling the truth, I don't really. have any problem with her saying so. publicly. And that ought to be an easy. thing. I mean, either she's a member of. the church or she isn't. I mean, that's. not shouldn't be that hard to prove, right? I'd imagine not. But I also don't. know how much that's going to be a focus. of it. But it's interesting that that's. what she seemed to focus on and wanted. to clear the record on. Um, and then you. go to this second lawsuit and I and this. second lawsuit just as a let's just. start here general area of law. How much.
is a parent held liable civily for the. actions of their child? So if you throw. a party allegedly and something happens. at that party or even if you don't throw. it, if your child just does, you know, throws a party, you don't know, you're. out of town, something bad happens at. the party, how much is the parent. liable? >> Yeah. So uh this is usually determined. on a negligence standard and in. negligence we use a reasonable person. What would a reasonable person done? Would a reasonable parent have.
intervened in this and prevented it. somehow? And it's very spa factsp. specific. Did they have noticed that. something bad was going down and an. opportunity to stop it? Did they walk. away from it? I mean, we've seen Jesse, we've seen this come up prominently in. the last couple of years in cases. involving some of these school shooters. >> Correct. Yes. >> Their parents, right, being held. criminally responsible in fact, uh, for.
the acts of their children. So, this. notion of what is a parent responsible. for is still very much a work in. progress in America. >> Okay, I got to say something real quick. For anybody who has supported me over. the years, supported the projects I've. been a part of for the years. I mean, you guys are the best. Thank you so. much. And I thought, why don't we do. something? Why don't we switch things. up? Why don't you ask me the questions. for a change? Yes. So, what we're doing. is we're giving a few fans the chance to. meet with me virtually, one-on-one to. ask anything. Ask about the cases I've. covered, behind the scenes, at Sidebar,
prime crime, really anything you've. always wanted to know. So, to enter, you. sign up for Long Crime Plus. You click. the link below, and you submit your. question for a chance to be featured in. an exclusive Just Ask Jesse special the. week of Thanksgiving. And right now, by. the way, you can get 25% off an annual. long crime plus subscription with promo. code just ask Jesse. Just $44.99 for the. entire year. It's a pretty good deal. So. hopefully you can be a part of this. I'm. really looking forward to it and. hopefully I see you then. It's this idea. of you owed a duty, a duty to care to.
the person who's suing. >> In in in terms of this particular civil. liability, yes, it's did you owe a duty? I mean, I think generally speaking, parents have not been found liable for. acts of their kids. If a kid goes out. and gets drunk and does something bad, you don't generally hold the parent. liable. You have to be able to show. Now, it was a different story. I mean, if the parents host a party and supply a. bunch of underage kids with booze and.
allow it to run a muck, then you might. have a good predicate for a lawsuit. >> And a big component of this is going to. be the medical determination that she. was in fact sexually assaulted, right? I. mean, they talk about how uh she. included a rape kit was performed by the. Hillsboro County Sheriff's Office that. she has suffered uh severe emotional. distress, PTSD. So that's going to be. the main crux of it, right? And and that. can become is that uh you know that. could be challenging I guess in any kind.
of lawsuit, but also I wonder if there's. you know medical evidence to support. that that could make her claim even. stronger. >> Well, that's that's sort of the. threshold issue is was there an assault? And that is something that pliffs have. been challenged to prove. They have the. burden of proof. So they have to prove. more likely than not that they were. assaulted. It turns into a credibility. determination often between the. plaintiff and the defendant as to.
whether or not it occurred. And if you. have medical evidence, if you have a. rape kit, obviously that helps your uh. uh that helps your case very very much. And I don't know what they have in that. regard. And it seems the the added. factor here, the added allegation is. that um there is an there's a claim that. hit again Blea's son guarded the door to. the bedroom when this alleged assault. happened. So it seems that that's what. may change that from a case where if.
someone throws a big party and someone. is sexually assaulted at that party, but. you had no idea you were in I mean I I. wonder a if you could still be held. liable for that if it's your party and. but at the same time it's that extra. allegation of knowing about this. happening and guarding the door that may. separate it from other cases. >> Well, that's much different. Sure, if. you have a party and two people wander. upstairs and something bad happens, it's. going to be hard to hold you liable for. that because a reasonable person isn't.
expecting that to occur in their home. Even if they're serving alcohol, they're. not expecting it to result in in in. assault upstairs. But if you're standing. outside the door, if you you can show. that they know about it, then you really. have a much stronger case. Do you. anticipate with the this civil case, these civil cases, that any criminal. charges could come forward as a result. of this. >> possible? I I I anticipate that with.
these kind of allegations, the. authorities would at least look at it. and determine if they think there's. grounds for criminal charges. Um, I. don't know if they've already looked at. it. It's possible they have. And I don't. know, you know, yeah, charges could be. brought, charges might not be brought. They might determine sometimes in cases. like this. I feel that the authorities. decide this is really mostly a dispute. between individuals and they can solve. it on their own in court, that they.
don't need the criminal justice system. >> I'm not going to ask if you were. representing. That's a tough question. But what do you anticipate the uh Ble. and her son are going to do right now in. terms of these these lawsuits? I mean, is it the idea of let's go through the. process, let's fight this, let's clear. our name, maybe motion to dismiss, although you talked about how probably. it would survive that settlement. You. you tell me what you would I mean, obviously, it's tough because it's just. the beginning. These are just a set of. allegations. We don't know what the. evidence is. We don't know what.
discovery would hold. What do you. anticipate they may be doing now? I'll. tell you the first thing they should do. if they haven't done it already. They. should is they should uh figure out if. they're covered by insurance. >> because for example, homeowners. insurance often has coverage for people. claiming injury on the property. So if. they have insurance, they need to get. their insurance carrier involved who. might get them a lawyer, pay for a. lawyer, and defend the suit. Now, that.
might be an issue because this is not. just an injury claim. it's a sexual. assault claim. So, I'm not sure if the. policy would cover it. >> But the first question is, do you have. insurance? And that's the first thing. Then once you solve that, then you you. have to have counsel hopefully represent. them in these matters. You look to see. if any of the claims could be challenged. on a motion to dismiss. I get a sense. these cases would go forward one way or. another, but you might want to bring a. motion to dismiss. And then.
it sort of depends on what your strategy. is. Like if you think the truth is your. best defense, then you want to do. everything you can to preserve the. truth. You want to reach out to. witnesses. You want to get witness. statements. You want to collect emails. You want to serve discovery on the. pliff. You want to really dive into the. whole process of discovery so that you. have all the proof you need when you get.
to trial if you think truth is your best. defense. >> Well, we shall see. We shall see the. next steps in both of these cases. So, Rich Showenstein, thanks so much for. taking the time as always. Appreciate. you, sir. >> Appreciate you talking about civil. litigation some more. Good stuff. >> You got We do it for you when we have. these cases. >> I appreciate it. >> And that's all we have for you right now. here on Sidebar. Everybody, thank you so. much for joining us. I'm Jesse Weber. We'll speak to you next time.
