But what the cousins claimed. was an unfortunate accident involving. one of the restaurant's toilets being. clogged turned out to be a much bigger.

So, a police officer in Longwood, Florida, was getting some tacos for. dinner back in August of 2023. This is. when a call came out over the radio. about a priority call. A priority call.

for a fight inside of a restaurant. And. it turns out that restaurant, Papa Bee's. Wings, was right next door. So, the. officer jumped right into action. >> I got five black females running TO THE. BUILDING. HEY, COME BACK, [screaming]. PLEASE. WHICH ONE WAS IT? >> HEY, ALL Y'ALL GET DOWN. >> GET OVER. HEY. >> Come over here.

the women, ranging in different ages, do. their best to explain their side of the. story out in the parking lot as more. officers arrive to try to figure out. what's going on. >> What happened tonight and what's going. on? >> We were in there. We came, we were. eating, >> they sat us down, took our order, we was. eating, right? >> Finished eating. They took our the trash. or whatever. We paid for. our food. You don't have to come at us.

like that. So, as we're getting up, I. didn't physically see that she pushed. the other girls, my cousin. I didn't see. that she pushed her. Cuz I'm already. getting up cuz she's saying, "Oh, we. have to leave. We have to leave." And. we're just saying, "Okay, you don't have. to be rude, da da da, but we're getting. up to leave.". >> I got you. >> And next thing you know, I just hear her. screaming. I turn around and she's on my. cousin hitting her. So, of course, I'm. not trying to hit her. I'm trying to. pull my cousin away and pull her off my. cousin and to leave because I'm not.

trying to make it into nothing bigger. than it is. But she's pulling her. She. grabbed her to the ground. I'm trying to. grab her. Then people come from the back. grabbing me, slamming me on the floor, pulling my hair off, and just throwing. stuff. I'm just like, how are y'all. trying to deescalate a problem, but. y'all y'all whole team coming out here. to jump on us? Of course, if one of your. teammates put their hands on somebody. that we're with, we're going I'm going. to try to deescalate the problem. But. you're grabbing her, pulling her to the. phone, hitting her. I'm trying to get. you off of her so that we can go. Then.

they gave the server $100. The change. was 10. The bill was 90. And then they. took all the change back. So they knew. that we weren't going to get tipped. It. was whatever. And we. were just going to let them sit there. for a little bit. And then the the. bathroom thing happened bathroom. >> So they went to the bathroom. >> Yeah. I was the one that went I noticed. there was like a bunch of toilet paper. in there and I didn't know if I should. flush it cuz it was that much and I.

No, that's just. >> and looked and then she said, "Well, if. they go back and do it again, just let. me know and I'll see." So, I was like, "Let's just see if they. do it again because.

I. didn't ask them. >> But when you found it, they cleaned it. up, right? >> Yeah, they cleaned it up and then I went. back and then someone went in from their. table again. I went in there at the same. time as her. She left before me and then. I went just peaked in the stall and she. did it again. So then I let Jamie know. and Jamie is older than me, more mature. I don't like talking to people about. this kind of thing. So I asked her to. So she went to the table. I didn't hear. anything she said to them. I know she. was talking to them. I was looking on. the cameras. fine at first and then I.

hear them yelling in the hallway or in. the office area and I heard them yelling. so I peek out and like what's going on. whatever. I don't go up to the table or. anything and then the second I go I hear. them yelling I turn around and I turn. back around and they're throwing chairs. and yeah I couldn't see every single. person but I saw from what I could see. from that door there was a few of them. and then. >> I came out sorry I came out here and. they were all thrown every single one of. them they were all chairs like the. minor. She's a minor. I think she's 17.

She was on the ground. I think she was. trying to help. I don't know. But she. ended up on the ground in between those. chairs and I saw a chair get thrown on. her. The police went, they cleaned it up, they fixed it, they went back inside. again, did the exact same thing. So when. a server addressed with them, they got. mad. Someone threw a drink and then. somebody just attacked them and then all. the hell broke loose. That's what security came. So right now. I'm trying to figure out what happened. to get more in-depth investigation as to. what really transpired. But that's what.

And. the girl with the white shirt, as she's. getting up, the purple girl, the purple. the girl with the purple shirt pushes. her.

Before. anybody else could even do anything or. say anything, the whole kitchen starts. coming out. >> So, at this point, if we didn't do. anything, it would have been them. jumping on her. So, we're trying to de. deescalate the situation. That's where. her and stuff. So, that's what the.

situation got. >> It was men like everybody in the kitchen. was involved. >> All the employees, >> all the employees was involved. They. came behind in the kitchen before. anything even like really went down. They came behind from behind in the. kitchen and that's when it escalated. >> I got a chair thrown at my head. >> People got stuff thrown in their eyes. It was just like things getting thrown. around and. at that point it was just like what's. the point of continuing fighting?

>> So we're just like okay we're. >> like it's no point in continuing to. fight. We're all grown adults, >> right? So, we're trying to leave and. they're like, "Oh, we're not going to. let you leave." And they lock the door. I don't know if that's like they. supposed to do that. Are they supposed. to lock the door? >> I'm asking. It depends on the. circumstances. >> So, they lock the door and they're like, "They're not letting us leave." So, we. got out. >> and then that's when the cop Okay. >> Okay.

>> Now, the corporal himself has seen the. surveillance and agrees that all five. women need to be detained. Now, the. officers know that they could be in for. a lot of blowback once the suspects. realize what's going on. So, they tell. their family members first. The hope is. they can keep everyone calm. Spoiler. alert, doesn't happen. Okay, I'm going. to get let me get all the parents or. family, excluding these five young. ladies, just step over here real quick. and I'm going to talk to everybody at. once.

Is there anybody else outstanding? >> Not everybody, right? Okay. I'll talk to. you over by the stop sign over here. >> All right. So, I do I have parents from. every person over there? >> Yes. >> Okay. And they're all they're all. adults, right? I haven't looked at all. their IDs and I don't know their ages. yet, but they're all adults, right? >> Okay. So, here's here's the problem. And.

I've gone I personally went in to review. the video and everything like that. So. we could get an unbiased opinion on on. the whole situation. Yes, they came. here, they ate, they paid. That's that's. not a question, right? The the problem. is is when I guess when they asked them. to leave, and I'm not saying that they. just come up and say, "Can you please. leave?" I'm not saying that they said. that, okay? I'm not saying that they. weren't rude. I can't say that. All I. can do is take their statements and take. their statements because the video does. not have audio on it. Okay? So I can't.

say that the the waitress wasn't rude. when she came up and said, "Hey, we're. closing. Time to leave." Okay? I can't. confirm that. They say she was rude. They say no. So, we're going to just. sort of leave that as is right now. However, when they start to get up, it's. immediately a push, slam the drinks, sling slinging drinks all over the. place, salt and pepper shakers all over. the place, broken all on the ground, and. then it's a full out brawl between these. young ladies and the staff in there. Okay. So, with that being said, based on.

the video, I'm going based on the video. So, I'm not going based on their. statements. I'm going based on their. statements, okay? Because they're a. little bit different between the two. They're going to be going to jail today, okay? So, please, as parents, I'm a. parent, too. Please relax over here. Let's not have a confrontation with. parents, too. Okay? So, they're going to. jail based on the video. You're looking. at me like that. I'm basing on the. video, and I'm watching this on the. video. They can't alter the video. Okay?

Right, guys? Am I we agreeing sir? can't. alter the video. So, I'm going based off. the video and the video shows that they. all become hostile with the with the. employee and they start beating her up. and then other employees jump in to pull. her off and I'm watching all that happen. and unfold on the video. >> Can we see the video. >> right now? You can't see the video. I. will have the video. It will be retained. for evidence and it will be in the case. itself. >> I just can't go and show the video. because it's on employees phones that. they're accessing the camera system.

Okay, which is normal. Okay, it's not. anything wild and crazy. I will have a. copy of the video and dis in discovery. You guys obviously the defendants, the. children will be able to get a copy of. the video. Okay, that will be afforded. to you at a later date, just not. tonight. Okay? I'm not here to choose sides. I'm here. to look at what I have as far as. evidence and I'm here to make the. decision based on that. Okay? Does have. any questions? I know there's a lot of. questions. going to be disorderly conduct and. battery. Okay, both of them are. misdemeanor charges. Okay, with this. being said, they are going to the Semino. County Jail. Seminal County, the Johnny. Pulk down there in Sanford. That's where. they're going. I don't know if all y'all. are from around here or not. If you're. not, >> so when they going to get a bond, like. when they get. >> they'll get they'll get a bond as soon. as we turn our paperwork in. So, the. sooner we can get them down there and do. our paperwork, they're going to get a. bond. before adjudge tomorrow or like. >> they'll get a bomb before that.

>> Yeah. >> So, could they be out today? Right. Tonight, >> I don't I don't know what time it is. though. Yeah, they could be out in a. matter of three or four hours. Yeah, for. sure. >> So, they will have a bond. It will be. posted on the Seino County Clerk of. Courts website. I'm sorry, the Seino. County Corrections website. That's where. their bond will be posted. They will. also have the option to give you a call. or give a bondsman a call or something. like that. Okay. So, >> can we talk to them? >> So, in the end, all five suspects were. arrested on charges of disorderly. conduct, brawling, battery by touching. or striking, criminal mischief. And at. the jail, they each posted a bond that. was just a little over $1,000. they were. released. Now, now we tried to find. updates on the outcomes of these cases. on the Semino Countyy's court docket. Couldn't find anything, but we'll keep. an eye out, see what happens next.
