like a scent on it yeah they used to be. fruity ass pencils yeah there used to be. pencils with with scents on it and i. remember like everybody everybody got. one from the teacher yeah but we all had. different flavors so what we do now what. we do we'd like. take the shavings and then like trade. them off yeah trade off the shavings bro. cause the shavings smell so good. themselves. yeah it's like here how am i shaving yo. school is weird sometimes man school is. weird. i feel like that's where. i feel like i feel like school is the.

real determiner of what's gonna happen. to society oh yeah like those early days. in elementary school. you can really tell like how we're gonna. end up yeah facts no can't you tell like. uh my master was telling me it's like oh. in in these classes when we're running. these classes can't you tell that that. guy's gonna go far in life and like uh. this one might it's like he's not. disciplined you know he might not go you. feel me yeah but like in your swimming. class instructors like you kind of feel. like oh yeah he's gonna be successful in. some way um when i was teaching yeah do.

you have like those kids and they're. like the lazy ones kind of but i never. like. here's my thing with that here's my. thing with that i never i never doubt. anybody yeah because they could always. change yeah you could always change and. i feel like even if you're a terrible. because i was a bad kid growing up i was. i was very different from what i am now. like i was kind of immature but looking. back on it like. [ __ ] maybe if i if i seemed. again not right to other people at least. i grew out of it and then i become who i. am today some people don't grow out of. it maybe it takes a little bit more time.

but you never just like leave it at that. i'm always like you you see somebody one. time and that's your that's your only. impression of them right the more you. see them or the more you see them grow. like now you have a real understanding. of who they really are because i feel. like even if you meet somebody you don't. even know if that's their true self i. think i think that's just like uh since. you went through it as a kid now you're. you're you're s you're stable now. because you already went through that. thing so it's like you have to go. through that first essential l to then. change because because people don't go. they go perfect throughout high school.

uh university but now then like oh [ __ ]. what do i do now yeah like now you get. to learn life real life and you learn. that early yeah right looking back i was. i was kind of like. i was kind of a mean kid man yeah i was. perfect i want a perfect like perfect. grades perfect everything yeah now i. went through that phase is like oh. sometimes you can't be perfect all the. time you just take you don't count it as. a loss you don't you don't beat yourself. up for that you gotta learn and make. sure that never happens again yeah yeah.

yeah that's that's how everybody lives. that's life that's like. i i remember. i remember like even just trading. pokemon cards bro even just trading. pokemon cards i would do some sneaky. business tactics when i was a kid maybe. that's where i get it from were you that. kid that um had like a printed out the. charizard and then put it on like a. wordle no no i was smarter than that i. started i went to pima and i got the. fake ones and i tried them off a real. one bro i'm telling you i'm telling you. i never i made sure after this one all i. took because he traded me like a. charizard for like my best card yeah and.

then i was at home i was at home it was. so sunny and i keep i keep my uh things. in a box so it becomes hot the glue. started rubbing oh i'm like what the. hell is i started underneath the geodude. i start picking at the corner it's like. a the little worm thing the caterpillar. worm. and then the guy was like no refunds. no that's me. i'm like what the. heck. you know that kid um in that cartoon. where it's like the high school the kids.

oh in recess. yeah you're that kid yeah i know i was. literally that kid i was literally that. kid. no matter what i was trying to like make. a buck somewhere yeah i wanted to be. that kid but in my mind i was like kid. with the glasses. the skinny kid with the glasses but i. don't blame anything but cartoons man. yes i don't think anything bug card. series recess was a criminally i forgot. about that chauffeur it was a critically. uh underrated show yeah yeah yeah. they're super underrated yeah that that. [ __ ]. made us who we are man.

because we picked we picked from the. archetypes. from the archetypes and we're kind of. like i want to go that way that's kind. of true yeah holy do you think do you. think the reason for the emergence of. all of these um. singers music artists come from hannah. montana. oh like a double life theory no hannah. montana for sure first more inspired. hell of people to live hard to everybody. yeah to even live like a um musician's. life exactly justin bieber too yeah but.

to hold their emotions and stuff yeah. some guy get bullied and sit yeah some. people that's just how they act like. they giggle or something because they're. uncomfortable my dad he says he says i. kind of believe him too one thing a lot. of asians do what i i used to do this. too like. asians that that are put into like an. awkward situation what do they do okay. hold on let me think asians that are put. into awkward situation what's your go-to. move. i don't know. i don't know what is it i i was gonna. say we just walk away nah.

okay so well i think i don't know if i. told this in the podcast wait did you. talk about stereo i don't remember i. would tell it then so i was working at. jordan's store i think i told you. already. no no no. oh. no i have those i have no i can't see. this i can't say this. it was a good mistake oh yeah it's a. funniest one it's a funny mistake. hopefully i wish you don't yeah i really. hope she doesn't watch this now. i was working at the jordan store. and then um because i was i was like. band ambassador right yeah and then we.

we also have like a foot action worker. there yeah. bro i don't want to see you just do it. man bro and then uh we all like. introducing each other right yeah and. like hi nice to meet you i'm carlos yeah. that's what i said. what did she say back to me she says. hi nice to meet you. [Music]. carlos i didn't know what to do so i. just. yeah. no that's that's the equivalent of like. you know how your waiter or like the. waiter says like oh have a nice meal.

and then you're like. bro. yeah that was the most that was an. awkward moment i had yeah i don't know. what oh one time okay this is one thing. that still sticks with me okay i feel. like it's good for me to to have done it. i forgot my lines during like a. presentation okay and it was like a. drama class too yeah that was one of the. most embarrassing moments of my life for. whatever reason and that was the first. time i really like choked up because i. really i was really looking for the. lines like what do i say here right but.

fam like that moment i felt in my heart. like oh like it feels so terrible it was. so terrible because. i forgot the lines and i ruined the. whole flow of the of the of the scene. yeah and then we had to redo it bro i. don't know i think that's the first time. like you know you know how you can you. can freestyle [ __ ] yeah that moment i. couldn't even freestyle i was like. frozen i was frozen you could do nothing. but i felt bad because it just made my. whole group look bad and not just me. because it looked like somebody else. forgot their line too it wasn't just me.

yeah. so then that's one of my worst that was. one of my mercy yeah go ahead yeah but. like i think i think it's good to go. through that because we just redid it. and then i'm like okay i'm not gonna. forget i think it's because i didn't. practice enough yeah no for so bad in. every drama and improv class that's. where awkward moments are born literally. because like you're forgetting. improv is so like pressure fam that's. the pressure of improv i don't know how. stand-up comedians do the the improv. where they have to. just talk to guests and they have to. make jokes out of that i think.

this is my theory though i'd rather do. that than memorize a script word i'd. rather do that than memorize the script. cause if something throws me off yeah. and i can't go back to scripts or if i. forget a line from the script then i'm. i'm like i'm in shambles you know no. that that's what that's crazy because um. i was meeting um one of my girls family. and she's like you made a script no no i. was just no because usually me yeah even. in this podcast what do i before i have. oh i have stuff i have stuff so i cuz i. can't improv like that you you you're.

just all off knowledge right i was like. oh like what do i say before like is. there a proper way you want me to. introduce yourself it's not just be you. she's like why you have like stuff. i was like yeah i always have like some. dialect like dialogue so in case it gets. awkward i can do it actually yes i can. pull the dialogues out of my things so. it's not awkward damn i'm just prepared. like that that's just how i move yeah so. like any like interaction you like think. of stuff. like yeah so even before i'm meeting uh. that's kind of crazy yeah the new people. in my in my school always have something.

oh uh did you do you uh what's what was. the homework from last night like simple. lives like that yeah so it's not awkward. it's never awkward damn that's kind of. smart though it is that's like she's. smart yeah you go you meet new people. and you're like [ __ ] just i say. whatever. nah nah cause no because like i always. said the way i think for a conversation. is like i have to get to the destination. first and then i can see the road time. but i see the road times already so i'm. ready i just have to see the destination. nah i feel like.

oh i guess it works for you though. it cannot that can work for me yeah like. if you're meeting a girl on the first. date. the the most awkward part is when you're. first meeting because you don't know how. to handshake you know if you go in for a. hug you feel me so i'm like okay let me. just feel the vibe and then i have stuff. planned just in case it goes off. i think i think now whenever i talk to. somebody where i meet somebody yeah it's. it's a very like be here now baby type. of thing you know i mean like what's. present. yeah i think that the most prepared i've. gotten was i was meeting this new guy at.

ryerson yeah and we were just meeting up. for like clothes i was like yo when i. see you just dab me up wait what so it's. not awkward wait what like you know you. know like you you never know what you're. gonna do i was like yo just tap me up. what do you mean. i was like oh i'm in the black hoodie. just dab me up when you see me oh why i. don't know so because i hate that first. like like you don't know whether to do. this or to do this it's like no just dab. me up first when you say word. no fam you know what you know what. that's the i hate that feeling too i. know exactly what you mean yeah i hate.

that feeling too is because. like going back to let's wrap it all. together going back to what it's talking. about with the with the bots and the. people that want to put you in a box. and people that want to make you feel a. certain way because you're different or. you express yourself differently not. everybody's going to understand how i. express myself not everybody's going to. agree with how i express myself but what. can what can you control yeah what can. you control yourself so do exactly what. you want to do whenever you want to do. it. repercussions come yeah you face them.

but at least you're not held down by. their words you're not held down by. their standards you gotta appeal to this. and that this and that just be yourself. don't worry about oh i'm gonna i can't. say this i'm gonna i'm gonna look. embarrassed to somebody do this yeah. no never let eat that bro don't never. let the awkwardness kind of affect your. confidence i hate that so much because. because i can feel myself falling into. that something i felt that before like. growing up as a kid there would be. moments like oh.

i i'm too afraid but why am i afraid why. are we afraid is because all of these tv. shows all these commercials oh the the. nerd that doesn't look cool he has to be. awkward because this and that he doesn't. know how to talk to girls. [ __ ] that [ __ ] yeah you know i mean like. why did they have to teach us that and. then now that's what the norm is yeah. there's way more there's way more into. life than looking cool. yeah the norm should be literally be. yourself be yourself like i had this i. had this debate with ryan would you. rather be in like a mental asylum or.

like a violent prison yeah i had that. that debate with him and one of my my. best points i think was when you're in. the men's asylum literally you can be. exactly who you want to be. and nobody's going to judge you. you know yeah in prison you gotta act. tough yeah you gotta act tall well. that's not everybody's doing their thing. everybody's screaming around like saying. balloons you know what i mean like you. can say whatever you want and i i want. to i want to get to that level i want to. get to that point where. the whole world will be able to see that. or at least everybody i'm close to the. disabled i don't i don't think it's.

going to be the whole world because. they're so influenced by other things. that maybe that our fans will go with. that mindset because they listen. like i hate that man i hate that because. because it kind of it kind of. gives everybody a step backwards yeah i. know. it's like they're pretending all the. time and you don't you just don't you're. tired of seeing fakes no even not just. pretending but like we have to we have. to do this for this like why do you have. to do this for this why don't you just. do what you want yeah like i understand. i understand there's certain things you.

have to um you have to accept like a. common courtesy yeah i agree like as. long as for the greater good but those. things where it's like um. he's too confident he's too he's too. cocky why is that a negative thing they. should be happy that you're confident in. yourself right yeah yeah your insecurity. of that person being too confident is is. your own insecurity back at you because. you don't want somebody to be like that. because you're you're afraid to do that. yourself i hate that yeah no confident. confidence is a big thing in this life. because uh what do you call it people. are not born with your confidence and.

people are not born with confidence. like i was never born with that like i. had to learn it but why is it so hard. that that all of the all of these things. we see in media all these things we see. in tv shows like it's the opposite like. trying to hold us back rather than make. us more make us more i hate it like it. doesn't make sense to me man i don't. know yeah it's really just the con this. is usually the content you are affects. your whole life this is crazy from from. birth to now yo but. it doesn't have to be that way too you.

know i mean like. as long as somebody's happy but still. like i i i don't like i just don't like. that yeah i just don't like be yourself. man yeah. that's one of my biggest pet peeves yeah. you like what you like yeah you you went. on your little rant yeah. you get off your chest yeah yeah that's. one of the biggest pet peeves like i. hate i hate like. nah you can't do this why can't you do. that yeah you know. you always ask me that too like when i. was going where i was finding myself. yeah you're like oh it's like why why. are you doing that for i know in like. you don't want to do that yeah.
