No, it's not that. It's just that I have. kids now. Like my life is different. I. kiss my children. I I like they always. want to kiss their mama. I'm not going. around sucking. I'm just not like I if. I'm again in a committed relationship, which I don't think would happen cuz I. don't trust anybody enough. >> with my sexual health to, you know,

I've known her for 30 years. that didn't. affect your relationship with her coming. out and standing with Trump. >> Our last couple exchanges have been. about politics. Uh it's mostly, you. know, I mean, but like we're not that's. not we're not like homies. We cool. >> you know since 97. >> your math is your math is. >> Delalas. Exactly. It's a reason to not be somebody's. friend anymore. >> I think that's a great reason. >> So, I've lost a couple relationship and. she is one of them. Like, we were always. cool. At one point, she was trying to do. a pod with me. When I was about to drop. my pod, she was trying to do a pod with. me, which I can see why she would want. to do a pod with me. I don't know why I. would have wanted to do a pod with her. It didn't make any sense. That's why we. didn't do it. Um it didn't at the time.
it didn't make no sense. >> um for me to do it. It did um cuz I. would had to relocate and all that. But. yeah, I don't appreciate that. She said. a lot of stupid besides even being a. Trump supporter because you could be a. Trump supporter, whatever, but you being. a Trump supporter and saying black. people, y'all need to vote for them cuz. they're leading you the wrong way. because that's a lot. Like I I. personally think all them are paid. All. them people that run with him that and. it's against their own interest or their. family and their friends. I'm thinking. it's just a check. We seen a lot of. rappers stand with them and then that's. it. They don't mention them. They don't. bring it up no more. Even get part. They.
get far away from him. She act like they. best buddies and went on the tour with. that. >> I think she believes that too, unfortunately. >> Do you? >> I do. I don't think she's lying. I just. think she is looks at the world. >> So, so the whole time you just around. acting differently. What were you. pretending then or what? >> Pe people and I want to get back to this. >> facelio. No, no, no. But I I've seen a lot of. people go through a lot of changes over. this Trump, good and bad. So, I I don't. assume that everybody's lying. I think. some people are just wrong. You know. what I mean? I give him the benefit of. least being wrong. I don't assume. everybody got bad intentions. But this.
this dick sucking thing I I Why is dick. sucking still especially in our. community like like the worst thing you. could do? >> This clip is not going to serve me well. [laughter]. >> I see that might be used against me. later in [laughter] a different way. >> You killing it, Mark. >> But I'm JUST SAYING IT'S LIKE IT'S LIKE. LIKE YOU CAN HAVE kids. >> and suck. In the past. >> I have a question for all of y'all. How. many often have you ran into a woman. that didn't want to suck your dick or. didn't suck your dick? Like, have you. have you ever run into a woman where she. was like, "I don't do that.". >> Since I've been an adult. >> Yeah. As a grown-up? Cuz that's the. thing. We were a certain age. It was. taboo. Or a certain time. >> Especially our community. >> I feel like even in the age, >> Mark, don't say that again during our.
dick sucking cup. [laughter]. >> It's the truth. Growing up, we the black. girls I dated was like, "Yo, I don't. like sucking dick was the last thing you. got. You would get before you get your. dick sucked." White girls, the opposite. >> Or it was a secret. I remember I WAS. She knew. >> She was not my girl. >> Oh, okay.
>> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Say she. was somebody I had sex with a lot. >> I ain't trying to be funny. Like after. three or four humps, if you ain't no. meat licking, it's like why are we here, bro? >> [laughter]. >> for me. Why are we over here again? >> [ __ ] again. >> Yeah. >> I mean, it was it was I mean it was. >> I guess it depends on the man. For some. men, you don't suck no dick. No way. It's not happening. Other men, it's like. you suck, you suck, you don't, you. don't. >> The other thing sometimes it's like a ch. sometimes you want to get I get what you. were saying. >> You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. >> I could I can't refer. >> Yeah, you going to have to.
>> Yeah. It's cool. You know what I mean? >> How about you? Is that rapping to you, Joe? >> What? >> Uh uh uh. >> Yeah. Stop acting like you're not a. podcaster. >> I'm engaged. So this conversation was. the '9s. This is. >> If you're talking about the '9s, >> then I'm sure you're talking about the. '9s. >> Then you just went to the 20s. >> I'm sure [laughter] I'm sure it. happened. >> It happens. >> That's when you lift the your leg up cuz. they had a their head right there.

mean. She said where she is now. She. said she's I'm not in a relationship. She said she'll do it in a relationship. and for her it seemed like a hygiene. thing. She said like if I you know I. don't want to kiss my kids with that. mouth basically. That's [clears throat]. basically. >> so what if you were with your dad. toothpaste then she said well that's. that's the thing. >> Some of them hoes was kissing their kids. with that mouth. >> I mean I'm not. >> Come on. Come on Jesus. >> Your dog. All right. >> Come on man. Keep it holy. Come on man. >> Okay. >> I just want to take the shame out of it.

Don't even call this way. >> Who would want to pop up on that stage? >> Not D. >> Super Bowl and uh. >> Dame Dash. >> It wouldn't matter. >> Like we all know he's going to bring out. Beyonce. >> All right. >> But like you can't bring I'm not going. Don't even call me for the Super Bowl. I'm not gonna I don't have any desire. for that. >> And when like Dr. Dre and them came out,

Even in that, even in that, what I'm. saying is right. [laughter]. >> That's just sad to watch, y'all. >> It's like everybody knows except for. him. He the only one don't know.

whatever world they create for. themselves without impeding upon that. >> It's a it's a fall race. You just got to. accept that. I mean, [clears throat]. >> no, you don't. >> No, you don't. >> No, you don't. >> You could be in denial. It still makes. it a. >> I don't mean it literally. I I should I. should say if he were wise he would. accept it. If you were on the hottest. biggest radio stations in the world, if. you were all over TV and now you doing. oneoffs with Danny, you know what I'm. saying? If you if you know what I'm. saying like if you getting I know what. he makes per interview because I've had.
the opportunity to interview. I I I. passed on it. >> And that's not I'm not dissing Dame. Like I I again like you have to do what. you have to do. You know what I mean? But I'm just saying like it's not the. same. You know what I mean? He he was a. mogul. and and you know I hope he gets back to. that he's talented enough to do it. >> He used to be used to. >> but this is a far from grace. Like come. on like if you if you got eyes you know. that. >> when you doing. >> and [clears throat] it wouldn't. necessarily look like a fall from grace. if he didn't appear so bitter. That's. what happened. >> You start talking so much and it came.
off bitter and then we all looked at as. bitter. So when a person is bitter even. their new endeavors don't look as good. You look like you making the moves out. of with this this little, you know, this. fire burning to show everybody, you. know? >> That's actually it to me more than the. rat jumping over the wall in the. background or or the teeth missing and. all that stuff. Like that's all stuff. that could happen to anybody. >> That's regular. >> Yeah. But like. he's a thorough dude. He's always the. one that clown other crews for talking, you know, you know, for talking about. people business, for splitting up in. public. All the things that he's.
criticized we see happening now. And. that that for me is actually the thing. that makes me feel like that's the. biggest. >> kept lying too. He kept lying. Kept. lying. He we went real viral from. talking to Charlemagne about being a. boss and then it come out who's really a. boss and seeing all that stuff all that. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. >> So that's what happens. If Dane was. somewhere focusing on what he loved and. doing what he loved and in his own. world, nobody would look at him that. way. Well, while we are on the topic of. falling from grace, I'm here to announce. that Lamar Odum, formerly of the.
Clippers, formerly of the Lakers, >> uh, has announced that he will be. starting his Only Fans. >> He becomes the first NBA star to join. Only Fans and teases risque content. M. [clears throat]. >> he says and I quote, "I've always been. an open book." End quote. >> Salute to him. >> We going hit the. >> So, I'm going to hit the round of. applause. >> Yes. >> And this ain't no fault for grace.
>> I about to say it might not be a fall. from grace. >> Creators create, man. [laughter]. >> Is he sober? Is he sober? >> You think he's going to get up? [applause]. >> Yeah. >> False. >> Only your mind will be over there. >> Guys, is he still in recovery? >> I have no idea. >> I don't know. I think you're always in. recovery. Yeah, he's still in recovery. Yo, in real life, if I'm being serious. and mature, I certainly hope that Lamar. ODM is still in recovery. I hope that. he's doing well, fighting whatever. demons he had. I hope his mental health. is great. I hope that Lamar ODM period. with like [ __ ] real know what Lamar.
ODM meant to the game of basketball and. to them coming up. So, uh, prayers to. Lamar ODM and I hope all is well. Can I. ask Hold up for a minute in real life? in [snorts] real life on air. [laughter]. >> Boy, I hope he's still doing cracker. >> Yo, >> cuz the only. >> Oh my god. Only fans about to be. >> Oh, be lit. >> That's the selling point. >> [ __ ] will pay [laughter] to watch him. tweet.
>> Tweet. >> Tweak. >> Tweak. >> Oh, tweak the crack. >> You've seen him do crack. NOW SEE HIM DO. CRACK ass [laughter]. >> in the nude crack double on top. [laughter]. >> He's doing crack rooted in two. >> How many old athletes have taken the. only fans route y'all? >> The first guy. >> Yeah. >> Who wants to be the first guy that does. Only Fans?
>> First man in the moon right there. [ __ ]. >> Y do Only Fans. >> He He's charging $3.25 25 cent the first. month. That's a deal. >> 13 a month after that. Is that like. bargain basement or is that like the. standard price? >> This I'm sorry and I hate to make the. podcast about me, but this just br PTSD. because y'all told me I could do Only. Fans cracking jokes in my panties and. then y'all asked me how much would I. charge and I said $20. >> Wait, wait, wait. Don't put me in this. >> Eye started going like this and I didn't. catch it. I didn't catch it. And you. started falling apart. And then when I. rewatched it, I I figured it out that my.
only fans price was too much. And that's. why y'all all laughed at me. >> I didn't laugh. But they don't subscribe. to only fans. So I don't think that. that's a fair. >> I don't even know how much. >> he he couldn't even talk. He laugh so. hard. >> 2000 Must sounds who. >> I'll pull a clip. >> I don't even remember being there for. this this nasty crunk question. >> Y'all keep going. I'm going get. [laughter]. your ass. Your brother ain't laugh. >> [ __ ] you holler. That's why [laughter]. YOU. KNOW WHAT? And y'all start putting at.
the ground. And I still couldn't figure. out why they pointing at the ground. I. don't get it. But it was because my. price was too high. >> That [ __ ] be the first sub, boy. [laughter] What about say. >> what? That [ __ ]. >> Hold on. I ain't laugh at you, did I? >> Y'all laugh. None of y'all laughed. Y'all cackled. Nobody chuckled. Everybody cackled. Like [ __ ] was. holding on to each other. Run out the. room. It was one of them joints. [laughter] Everybody got up and left. >> Well, I don't think I'm not in support. of you starting Only Fans, >> Joey. >> At least [clears throat] while you work. here. >> Keep going. [laughter]. >> Keep going on the cliff. >> Uh, anyway, so yeah, Lamar Odum, salute.
Good luck. Uh, get it how you get it. >> Y'all are really in support of this. >> Look, whatever you got to do, man. I'm. not comment. subscribe just to support him. No. >> No. >> He's going down there with a woman. >> No, Mark. >> He said he's doing that with that woman. A real estate mogul woman who's really. attractive. >> Oh, that sound like dishag. [laughter]. >> His face did light up. >> This thing is crazy. >> So, hold up now. 3.99. >> No, Margaret. We wouldn't sub to support.
uh. >> I don't know. >> Lamar ODM's only encourage anybody else. to if they you know what I mean? >> I found the clip. >> Oh, she had that on. She was ready. >> She's ready for you. >> I wasn't ready. Why would I be ready? I. was. >> laughing at you laughing at Mona. I. don't laugh at Mona. >> Well, I don't hear nothing. The. suspense. >> The suspense. I don't hear nothing. >> I don't think she got the clip. I don't. think she does. Put for put for the only. man. >> For the only man telling jokes in there. in your drawers telling jokes.
>> occasional nipple smoking a black. >> Yeah. >> Free fooper. >> I I don't want much. $20. >> a month. [laughter]. >> 20 a month. >> Is it good jokes? >> You pay monthly, right? >> What's the average for? >> All right. I'm [ __ ] on myself. [laughter]. only. You might not have been there. >> I don't hear us occasional smoking a. black. >> Oh, if y'all were there free.
>> I I don't want much $20 anyway. >> Look at your face. >> Is it good jokes? >> You pay monthly, right? >> I got [clears throat] it. What? >> I'm your only friend. Mona, >> you won't hear is [snorts]. >> Yeah, he was probably not there that. day. [ __ ] was beating it. >> [ __ ] took the mental snapshot, went. home, stood behind the door. [laughter]. >> I stood up. I stood up. >> I still I still the wildest [ __ ].
Stupid. Yo, beating off standing up. >> It's crazy. >> Nobody does that. >> I better not see you outside tonight in. the Captain Hook outfit. >> Oh my god. [laughter]. >> Yo, what time is it? for you. Yeah, somebody went to a Mary. show to heckle Mary for some strange. reason. >> on a week where she just jump cashed. out. That's not right. >> That ain't smart. >> It's never right. But especially not in. a. >> You didn't have to come here. So I hope someone sees you and politely. removes you. [cheering]. I'm sorry. [cheering].
>> Yeah. Take them out of now. [music]. >> Y back to the jamarie. >> Yeah. There you have it. Mary taking. care of business out there. >> Yeah. >> I like it. >> Y'all like it? >> Mary don't take no. >> I like it. Quick y I hope somebody see. him. Get him out of here. >> Yeah. >> Back to the show. >> A true pro. >> I can't believe somebody would boo Mary. J. >> That's what I didn't understand. >> I say on the the bottom of the list of.
people to boo. >> Word. >> You know what I mean? But if you going. to Yeah. I don't know. Just don't go. Like she said just don't go. >> Mary is super serious. Like she got that. aunt like in the street people look at. her like aunt. She feel like that. Remember when she did an interview about. the McChick. >> thing that went viral? When she look at. that camera and say, "I ain't think it. was funny." Y'all like it like was. serious. Like it feel like, "Okay, let's. not even laugh at that no more." People. was making videos apologizing for [ __ ]. they did years ago. >> She just don't seem like nobody you play. with. Like. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah.
>> It's It's tough though like when you're. dealing with a heckler. I mean, have you. ever been booed before? >> I'm sure I have cuz I mean I have too. like. >> Apollo. >> even though I'm not counting this as. being booed. >> The battles. I don't call this being. booed and the bad I got booed. Yeah. I. don't I don't count this as being booed. This is one lone person in a when you're. the one lone heckler. >> the performer the performer can hear you. and may take a moment to speak directly. to you if you're by yourself. >> Not just that certain fans if you're the. one lone heckler the right fan.
>> the right fans are yo Mary Bro. they will yo they ride for Mary. I'm. shocked that that just ain't. >> I took what she said as somebody boob. bop him please in your business. I. didn't take that as hey security can you. please remove him. >> She wasn't calling for security. >> at all. [laughter] Yes, I agree. Mary. fans don't play. I I learned years ago. not to [ __ ] with. >> Actually, that's a cue to leave. >> Yes. >> Or else. >> Yeah. Some someone may be on their way. to. >> But you your section go ahead and see my. way out.
>> today. >> [ __ ] will do that and hope somebody. can [ __ ] them up. >> Sure. True. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Because the goal, what is the goal. of a heckler if not to be get attention? >> That's why I lost and go viral and do. all this. >> And that's the [ __ ] I hate. That's like. I've been heckled before. You're a. comedian. I'm sure if you haven't, you. will be heckled or something. That's. just. >> I've been heckled. >> Like the goal sometimes is just to. ignore the person so that they don't get. that attention they want. But there's. also the thing of if it's only one. person. >> Oh no. You got to make. >> they also be in your head though. No, but they also sometimes be in your head. Like I've had people stand up and hold. crazy signs. You know what I mean? While. I'm speaking and it's like I want to.
ignore you. >> Yeah. I want to I don't want to give. them the satisfaction, but also it's. hard to ignore them cuz it's just one. person and the whole room could be. chair, but all I see is that one person. holding up that sign and it's like so. it's like a battle in your mind of like. whether to whether to ignore that person. or give them what they want. >> Also, I don't know if everybody comes. with the intention or they're playing to. be a heckler. People do drugs and drink. and [ __ ] and then sometimes you get to. you cuz my heckler was they were drunk. They were just talking. They weren't. really heckling and just kept talking. It's hard to do stand up when somebody's. talking to you like it's hard but. >> people be on [ __ ] Sometimes it just,
you know, everybody can't handle what. they pick to do. You know, >> you cracked on Aries show, >> huh? >> You cracked. >> We went back and forth. Yeah, we were. back over a little bit, but it [ __ ] my. vibe up. Like I was pissed. >> That's what they. >> like. That's like what Mark said. I was. super distracted. It was weird. >> Some of them [ __ ] want to be a. part of the show. >> They want they want to go there and get. their little. >> five seconds of fame. >> Weird as [ __ ]. >> So they coming in, hijack your show and. start talking to you. Now we having a. one-on-one conversation. My [ __ ] move. I got I'm here to entertain the crowd. M. >> And you booing somebody that got slapped.
after slap after slap. I can see it. We. booing somebody who up there playing. some Z cuts. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And then it's just not your joint. So, >> and you paid like that's the most. important thing. That's her thing. Yo, you paid here to come here and do that. >> Like a comedy show is a little. different. You might have came for one. comic in the opening comics or. something. You, you know, I'm not saying. that is appropriate, but. >> that makes sense. >> Yeah. But you came to the Mary J. Blah. >> show, >> [ __ ] She's the headliner of the show. Why would you come here spend your paper. to come boo? It's stupid.
>> We ain't talked about it last week. Anybody get to see Kesha Cole performing. on stage? >> I did. [laughter] I did. Missed that. one. >> Oh, no need to fret. >> Yo, [music]. [singing]. never know. [music]. Sound.
[music]. like my wife and her friends when they. [laughter] 2:30 in the morning. >> I want to say that YouTube know what I. was about to say. [laughter]. >> That sound crazy. >> Now they was on her they was on her case. because they said she barely did any. singing. She tried to let the crowd do. most of the singing like this show. It. makes sense. >> No, they said for most of the show. They was asking for a refund. Look,
[music]. >> this is that. old time. [music]. >> Ke drunk as hell up there. >> My chargeback would have been done. already. No, they [ __ ] was asking for. refunds, mad [ __ ] asking for ref. >> Yeah, [ __ ] Dude, hit this [ __ ] sing. >> Is that the. >> No, no, no, no. Hold on, hold on.
[music]. >> Yeah, they said they was asking for a. refund. >> Maybe she was just unwell. >> And I might as well have ain't the song. that you want to let the audience sing. the whole [music] damn thing. Yeah. >> And I love Kha Cole too much to even. continue to let this friend of the show.
>> play like that. Yeah. Friend of the. show. We do love Kesha Cole. She got all. the slaps. In her defense, she did go on. online and say, "Yo, y'all. It was my. birthday. >> I was I was super drunk.". >> She said it on stage. She was in there. She like, "Come on, y'all. Y'all know it's my birthday. Come. on, y'all. Celebrate with me. Y'all. sing.". >> But then there's another clip of Joe. Thomas performing somewhere and Kesha. Cole happens to be there. M homecoming. >> with with a microphone and Joe Thomas. trying to whatever he's doing up there.
and she's trying to adlib the song but. she looks drunk again. >> and she's like the song up and you see. him looking like yo could somebody take. the microphone from this this lady. please. But he's a class act so he's not. going to. >> listen man it get tough especially on. your birthday especially when you're. drunk. I don't know. She just having a time, man. I give her fast. >> We know Kha could sing. That's the. thing. >> I give her fast. But. >> it's not like we don't know what she. could do when she she get busy. She was. celebrating, man. She was a little She.
had a little bit too much to drink. >> But I ain't mad at the fan that want to. ref No, no, no, no. I. >> They're blaming it on the new boyfriend. now. That's what the internet is saying. >> I've seen that. >> Cuz she got a Philly [ __ ]. >> Well, yeah. Yeah. She She got a little. young boy. >> She got a little young boy. And that's. why you got to give us some grace. because when the older joints start the. young joint, they don't really want to. go to work. [laughter] They ain't going. to work to really do their job. They. older. They want to get back to that. young peen. Then they showed her they said they was.
killing him for parading her around. Philadelphia in like her laundry clothes. while he was while he was dripped out. >> Who is he? Skrilla. Gorilla. >> Oh, from y know exactly what uh. >> I think too. I think that was real. No, >> that's real. >> A North Philly [ __ ] do that to you. >> Yeah, she was in Kensington. That's. >> Hey, look now. >> Salute salute. >> Everybody deserve one of them summers. >> In honor of what I think Kesha Cole was. trying to do this morning when I was. searching for new music, I saw that uh.
the legend George Michael had dropped uh. Faith Live in Paris. >> I saw that. I didn't press play. >> Not really much for live albums. >> I think this is what she was trying to. do. >> Let's hear it. >> Which is also one of the greatest. feelings you could ever have as a. performer. >> The crowd. >> Okay. This next song, this next song I'm. not going to sing. Okay. You're going to. sing. >> I like George Michael. >> Don't ever play with Don't ever play.
with him. >> I'm going to sing I'm going to sing just. the first line. The first line. And then. you guys are going to sing the whole. song. Okay. Damn. Yo, this is 88. I guess I guess it. would be. >> 1988. >> Oh, right. Do that little. touch. >> What? >> OH, YEAH.
YO, THIS GOT SO MUCH DICK THIS NIGHT. [laughter]. YO, this [ __ ] got all the dick he. wanted that night. >> Hey. yo, he really ain't saying nothing. >> He playing guitar, right? [music]. >> This is crazy. >> Yeah, that's nice. That's nice. >> This is fire, actually.
But like you said, you got to know which. song you can do that with. Yo, >> I was outside jamming to this. You know. how gangster you got to be to put on a. live album and it's just the. song gangster. [music]. >> This is ridiculous to me. >> I was outside having a time of my life. Did my fiance text me? Are you getting a. shower with me or what? [laughter]. >> I mean, right. I was having some real. fun out there. Well, that's what I did. I cut it off. I went and did what I was.
doing. This is crazy. I'm cutting this. off. [music]. >> I'm gonna buy this. Me, too. >> All right, man. >> That's fire. >> Yo, that [ __ ] was boy. >> I think that's what she was trying to. do. >> Yeah. Yeah. Don't say. >> it. Just didn't It felt intentional. >> You cannot be drunk. harder song to sing. by the way instead of fake. >> Way harder. So I got. >> No, no, no.
>> Which one? >> Kha. >> Kha sing is harder. >> First or the second? >> The first one. >> Love. Love. >> I do not think that love is harder to do. than faith. >> You're talking about singing like. performing. >> Yeah. Like a crowd. We talking about the. crowd doing vocal. But the crowd but a. crowd to to know the first and second. verse to faith. >> It's a lot of words. >> Yeah. That's mad words. At the club, at. any club you go to in America, all the. big sloppy is going to sing the key [ __ ].
and know every word. All the is having. all the trouble with in the world is. going to is going to signal to the club. that you was guilty too, [ __ ]. [laughter]. They they be in the club signaling. >> What was y'all song in the club that. signaled to somebody that might have. seen you? Fantasia Neo. >> Big Sean and E40 [laughter] a word. A. word. >> No. All right. That's not what I'm. saying. I'm saying told DJ, "Put the Joe.
button set on.". >> I'm saying a song to come on in the club. that might be mirroring something. happening in your life. Uh, >> that's what I'm saying to where you. kind of right. >> Oh yeah. I don't with you. >> I don't with you. What? That [ __ ] hit. hard. >> Yeah, that's a good one. I'm a Novacane anytime it comes on makes. me feel like I'm at uh. >> what the festival Coachella with the. dentist. >> Yeah. [laughter]. >> Doing Molly or some.
>> Yeah. >> Nova Kane beat take me to your version. which then makes me want to argue with. shorty. >> Nova Kane in the club. Oh my god. Novocane [laughter] in the club never. goes wrong. It's one also one of the. best songs made last decade. >> Oh yeah. >> Just throwing that out there. Easily. easily by far. I saw a pick of her in. the studio, too. >> Big Hey, hey, other performance out. there. Big room. The live band room. >> It was just her orchestra. >> Orchestra room. Yeah. Not them little. tiny not them little tiny B rooms. Y'all.
be in the little side room. The mini. room. >> Big big big room for her. The main. >> and she was by herself in there. >> I play all this. >> Yep. Yeah. I don't need nobody. Oh, I. can't wait to hear. >> Don't worry. Me, too. >> I won't say anything about She's been. looking running through New York City. lately. >> She looks great. Look, boy. She looks amazing. >> Me and you, boy. >> Me and you what? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Me and you what? I can't pick up what. you're talking about. >> No, it's cool. [laughter] Leave it down. there. Leave it down there. Don't pick. it up. >> Her man is her. Anyway, uh what else is. going on in music? There is a new. designer song that I'd like for you guys.
to hear. >> Oh, please. >> Okay. >> I know it sounds funny cuz he's been. jerking off on planes. >> That's I was hoping that that was not. going to tie in, >> but hey, it's me. >> Have you got to come up with the slap? come up with the slap like to hear it. Here it go. Brand new design to this. record is called Where the Party at? Where the Party at? >> Not bad. >> I like it. I love it. >> First reaction. First reaction, ladies. and gentlemen. Come on. What do you got? What do you got? What do you got? >> It I like it cuz it sounds. >> sound old.
>> Like designer. >> Yeah. >> It sounds like a record he would have. made when he was in his peak. >> probably. >> He ain't tried to do a whole bunch of. rapping. He ain't Timmy Turning Me to. death. If he put on a hard beat with a. hard hook and looked like he had fun in. the video, that sounds like designer to. me. I'm going to go buy his EP because I. don't like how they did him when he came. up with his hit. I'm one of them. I'm. sorry. I'm loyal to musicians that way. They him shouldn't have him. He had a. record that he should have been good for. the next 10 years, but he ain't.
>> So, yeah, I'm going to buy the EP. >> I'm with that. This particular song, I'm. not like I said, it sounds old to me. It. sound like a a leftover from 2016 or. something. >> Not to me. I think it sounds like um. like new designer. I like it though. because. >> his adlibs always were a little. different and they were like exclusively. to him and it's nothing I never found. nothing wrong with his original music. So that he coming back and he still. sound like himself. I'm with that cuz I. always thought Designer was hard. I. always thought he got a bad break too. >> Shout out to Designer.
>> Shout out to Designer Man. Uh what else. we got in music? Anything else in music? Music. Music. >> Yeah man. That big extra plug album is. out. Yep. New album, >> Better Over Time. >> Um, I listened [snorts] to it from. midnight. I ran it again this morning. Um, he's over some some soul samples in. here. I don't know if they're samples. now because today people do the soul AI. >> Yeah, sure. It could be. >> So, it could be either or, so I don't. want to call it a soul sample, but the. production, I [ __ ] with the production. Um, his I got I got some standouts that.
I like off rip. Um, got some features that I with. Um, Belly. Gang Cushy Tin is on there. >> Leon's on there. They redid Skies of the. Limit. I didn't love that one, but. >> I [ __ ] with it. >> I think I just didn't like that. That's. how it started the album. >> Okay. >> It felt like a little too I don't know. >> A cover basically started album is kind. of weird to me. >> Um, >> I get that. I get that. >> But the album is good. It sounds like It. sounds like his first album like he went. and did the country album and then he. did the group album. All that [ __ ] He. went back to what he does best which is.
Yeah. rapping over kind of soul samples. And anytime I see Big Extra Plug. featuring Rosama, I'm going right there. Like, >> all right. All right. All right. >> The [ __ ] That [ __ ] is hard. >> That's That Yo, I'm. >> That track I love that [ __ ]. >> That beat is hard. Sound clean. >> Yeah, that beat is hard. >> Beat is hard. They flow is hard. And. again, man, >> don't sleep on Rosamo. Yo, >> he's nice. Yo, >> he is [ __ ] nice. 6WA [ __ ]. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They're nice, man. So, salute to them. >> Yeah. While we on it, Rolling Stone put.
out their list of the top 10 greatest. rap albums of all time. If anybody was in the mood for a Rolling. Stone list, >> right? 10, The Miseducation of Lauren. Hill. >> Not a rap album, but okay. At nine, The. Lowend Theory. >> Okay. At eight, Enter the Wuang. 36 Chambers. At seven, Missy, so. addictive. At six, my beautiful dark. twisted fantasy. At five to pimp a.
butterfly mad. >> At four, it takes a nation of millions. to hold us back. >> At three, the blueprint. >> Two is stankia. And one. >> is ready to die. >> Oh, would not be my. >> This is. excuse me. >> In some ways, they had like the right. artist and sent them the wrong album. >> Yeah. >> You know, or the right album in the. wrong location. >> Yeah. Yeah, there was no pick that I was. like, "This is terrible for the list, but I overall in like the order of the. placement.". >> There some people missing off the list.
You can't have a not and I ain't the. biggest Nas fan. >> One of them first two albums got to be. on that list. >> Ilmatic has either Illmatic or it was. written. I don't It don't matter. What's. their criteria? >> Oh, I don't I just always ask because. again, we'll sit there and think. something and then they be like, "Yo, we. picked because of this, this, this, and. all right, now it'll make more sense." I. I don't agree with that list. >> Yeah. I always just go with uh can I. tell if a goof wrote it or not. [laughter]. >> and they just saying name this to me is. a goof. A goof wrote this.
>> You do not have and I love Missy to. death. So addictive is not the seventh. best hip-hop album. >> Not if ain't no eyes on rap album of all. time. Uh Doggy Style is not is not on my. number one every time. >> I don't understand. There's no top 10. list if Doggy Style is not on there. Sorry. Look, everybody everybody not a. Pac fan, but. >> Pac could have an album in that top 10. >> He should. >> Yeah, I think he should have two albums. in the top 10. >> Yeah, I ain't going to give him two, but. I'm not I'm not against that.
>> But there's no way you miss a Pac album. if you're coming up with agree. >> with a top 10 and no Nas album. You got. Blueprint. I'm not even with that as the. whole album up there. >> I'm not mad at that. >> It's not a crazy take, but it wouldn't. be mine either, but it's crazy. >> Die is number one. That's not even the right big album. Exactly. [laughter]. >> It's not the right album. They don't got. an M. I really I could live without an M. album. But I'm talking about as far as. the M. >> It's definitely the wrong big album. >> Yeah. Of course. I think when you. >> Biggy duets.
>> I I think [laughter]. I think one album that I did like to see. on there that isn't on enough list is it. takes a Nation of Millions. I think. people. >> people forget about Enemy, not just in. terms of album, but the impact it had. >> That's the one. Public Enemy, it takes a. nation. Uh, >> 36 Chambers, >> low-end Theory, 36 Chambers, and The. Miseducation may be the only albums I. agree with on. >> I just don't agree with Miseducation cuz. I don't think it's a rap album. >> Not a rap. >> Yeah, that's always my take when it. comes to. >> I know, but if somebody enters it into a. conversation, I have to acknowledge what. it is. >> I'm never going to hate. I love this.
One of my favorite albums ever. I just. wouldn't classify it as a rap album. personally. >> Yeah. Ill Manic has to go here. All Eyes. on Me has to go here. >> And I I know I'm on an island with this. I don't put To Pimp a Butterfly above. Good Kid, Mass City with any Kendrick. Me either. >> I'm sorry, bro. Like, >> and I love that album, but yeah, I'm. with you. >> For me, good kid is. >> to me, if you put to pimp a butterfly, then that means good kid, good kid, mad. city has to also be there somewhere. higher. >> Exactly. >> And I'm not mad at this enter the Wu. Tang album cuz how can you be? But I.
mean, I got Ray's album above that. album. >> I'm not mad at that thing. >> There's a clear east coast bias. I mean, for me, Chronic doggy style both should. be an NWA album. I mean I mean there's a. few West Coast Doc Ice Cube has I mean. we talking about impact but here's my. own take if nobody ever says a chronic. I'll be perfectly fine. >> yeah same. >> now. I have doggy style. >> you have to have doggy style if you you. can't leave both of them off you got to. have one of them Drake albums on there. >> that's that's or Ice Cube or I'm just. saying there's too much west coast music.
that should be in the top 10 at least. one of them should be in that mix. >> well thank you Rolling Stone we. appreciate the effort that you put in. [laughter]. your ass all you guys are having an. amazing Halloween out there. >> Yeah, y'all can get on with that one. though. >> Uh Mona, why why you attacking Cardi B? What happened? What you did? >> You attack Cardi. >> You in my algorithm again. >> First of all, I'm glad you brought that. up cuz that was on the radio this. morning. I did not attack Cardi B. I am. a fan of Cardi. I [ __ ] with Cardi. I. just asked for Cardi. I just asked Cardi. advice three weeks ago. I didn't attack.
her. I saw a clip where she's speaking. about a topic and I just thought she was. so wrong about it. I said something. In. the clip, she says that the conversation. is about like colorism and working hard. and like that. And what she says is that. colorism conversation has nothing to do. with her because when it comes to her, the reason why she has more. opportunities than other people is. because she works really hard and she. knows how to market herself and sell. herself in those rooms. She said a lot. of people aren't smart smart enough to. market themselves and sell themselves in.
those rooms. And that's the difference. She knows how to speak for herself, blah. blah blah. Then she corrected herself. and said, "Well, not smart enough. They. they don't they're ignorant to to how to. do it. They don't know how to do it. >> And I just made a video and said cuz. first of all I was surprised when I saw. it cuz Cardi is very smart. So I would. assume that she know better than that. The video that I made was just like um. she's she's incorrect about that because. she is incorrect about that. Cardi is. very talented. Cardi better than a lot. of but part of the reason why she's. there is in my opinion because she's.
like to add a little more on it the fact. that she's Dominican, Puerto Rican mixed. or whatever. my experience in this. country, if you're not white, if you. have some kind of foreign on you, that's. even more special, especially in these. industries and like that. Um, I say even. in my own situation, I know I'm. talented. I know I'm funny. But if there. was a girl that did exactly what I did. and she was big and black, I can't say. that she would make it where I make it. I know part of the reason why I made it. here is because I have the complexion. for the connection. That's my belief. So, that's really all I said was that.
colorism does take part in a lighter. person making it further. It's a fact. It doesn't mean that Cardi's a not. talented or Cardi is a bum. That's why I. hate that certain blogs are picking up. on it turned into a don't call me white. girl Cardi thing. There is no don't call. me white girl Cardi thing. I've I've. never even been in the press saying. anything negative about her. I love her. But that don't mean she'll never say. nothing wrong and that was wrong. So I. say something simple. >> Good for you. >> The bad part is that it brings out all. the Cardi haters or like you know all. the people that want to turn and pivot. and all.
>> That's the problem now cuz we can't have. these simple ass conversations. I should. be able to say that without it being I. hate her and I have a problem where it's. not that. >> or that you're saying she's not. talented. >> Yeah, the [ __ ] you'll be a fool to. not know that she's talented, but I'm. sure it's a lot of talented people that. don't make it nowhere near those. heights. And you want me to believe that. that's not has nothing to do with them. being darker. I just don't believe that. to be true. I said, and that's why I. included myself. You understand what I'm. saying? That's why I included myself. If. I was being black, I don't know if I. would get to be at, you know what I. mean, at the heights of some of the, you.
know, some of my arenas. You know what's. wrong with that? >> I agree with you. >> I called them smart and everything. You. see how people do? >> You see, >> that's the problem with the internet. There's no room on the internet for. actual conversation that with nuance. It's either she got there cuz of. colorism. She got there cuz she light or. she's untalent. You know what I mean? Or. or her color had nothing to do with it. >> And it's like you both things can be. true. >> Two things can be true. one can get you. in the door and then your talent and. hard work and all that could be what. takes you all the way up to the to the.
next level. Both of those things could. happen. It's like just pointing it out. don't make it you're not attacking. nobody though. >> Yeah. >> You get what I'm saying? I I agree with. what you said. That is. >> it's a [ __ ] It's like and it's it's. just annoying. I feel like with us some. of some of them conversations that we're. not having is literally holding us back. I think those one of those conversations. just like the internet just a month ago. said I was white for a whole month. Posted my mom all kind of [ __ ] It's. like I went on the internet and said. some people are not going to like me. before I speak because I'm so light. And. people really was like, "Oh, shave your.
light-skinned tears." It's like now we. as black people going to act like we. don't know that light-skinned people are. supposed to be softer than other people. That's a fact. Look at this [ __ ] with. his green eyes. He had to fight his. whole life. Look at him. >> True. >> That's a known thing. There's no black. person that has never seen that. experience. And this thing, it's not one. way. The dark person in the hood get. teased a lot, too. Tar, baby, all that. The light ones get teased. The dark ones. get teased. That's the fact. But in our. community, the light-skinned people are. also soft. So a [ __ ] might punch. you in your face, take something from. you, try to bully you, whatever. That.
was my experience. And most. light-skinned people I know too. Yeah. >> I never met nobody light-skinned that. didn't have that experience. So why is. not is that colorism? Is that me facing. colorism? No. That's like bullying. That's harassment. But two things can't. be true. Yes, colorism affects us this. way. And yes, I still got bullied and. raised cuz I was high yellow. So what? That don't make me a crybaby. That's a. fact, [ __ ]. That's why Joe bully Ish all day cuz he. >> Yes. >> Is that why you do it, Joe? >> Joe bully. >> Think he can beat him deep. >> He picks on you. >> He think he can beat you.
>> He bully you. >> That's why I keep telling you to. >> He picks on you though. >> I keep telling you to sting him. I keep. telling you that. >> Next time he run over there trying to. play fight, stinging him. >> Let me ask you something. >> Cool. Cardi B said something and you. thought she was wrong. M. >> is there ever a time where you just let. somebody be wrong? >> Yeah. >> Or did you have to be the one then? >> I didn't have to be the one. I didn't I. didn't have to be the one. But I do.
think that the whole colorism. conversation needs to be had by. lighterkinned black people. I think. lighterkinned black people the same way. white people have to use their. privilege, lighterkinned black people. have to use their privilege to say, "Hey, that's not right." Cuz it's it's. not right. She's wrong. Part of the. reason why she there is cuz she liked. Period. Cuz she Dominican. Period. That's a fact. I don't give a [ __ ] what. nobody said that then doesn't mean she's. not talented. >> It's tough. Yeah, I think that comes off. horrible. >> I'm sorry. >> Well, tell me a better way for. >> I'm sorry. She came off I know this is our sister.
Cardi came off Har. if you're the talent hearing that you. could absolutely come. >> N would. not whether you with her or not. >> Not on the approach. Not on the Got it. got it. >> We're not talking about her intention, >> but as the person receiving that, you. absolutely could hear that and be like, you're discrediting all my hard work and. saying I got here because of this. >> But that's not what I said. >> But the problem is they could hear it. that way. >> They could. >> That would be a personal choice cuz I. didn't say that. >> But the person who initially makes the. case that it didn't have anything to do. with my color is also saying something.
that a darker person could hear and say, "The reason y'all ain't where I'm at is. cuz. >> and that's who I'm standing.". So, so there's always a person who can. hear some different. For me, the. question is when do you speak and when. do you not? To Joe's question, right? And for me, it's a lot of times whether. I'm a how complicit I am in the thing. that we talking about. You know what I. mean? So, as a you're light-skinned, like really light-skinned, right? So, so. if somebody's going to say like colorism. ain't got nothing to do like you're the. best person. >> to say something about that. >> You know, if if if somebody says.
Eminem's race has nothing to do with his. success in hip-hop, >> it's a lie. >> But it's perfect for Eminem to be able. to say that. Don't make the the black. rapper say that. like M should be the. one to stand up or another white rapper. should stand up and say that you know. and I think M would agree obviously he. said he says it but but if he didn't it. would be important for somebody else to. say who's white so I think a lot of. times like who are you in this and so a. successful light-skinned person you know. y'all should be the ones to speak up. about colorism. >> and you could it's it's it's a it's a. little black girl working her ass off. somewhere and she needs to know the. industry getting in it's against her.
that's another [ __ ] hurdle that she. has to cross it's just what it is my. thing is that why do everybody act like. they don't know once we talking about. it. It's like what the it's it's a it's. a thing like it's not like a a secret. thing or behind closed doors. It's a. it's a known thing how things are. But. again, for the 50th time, it has nothing. to do with the talent of her. I think. she's a very talented person. There's no. way she wouldn't be talented and make it. to where she make it to is it's not. But. her complexion does have something to.
do. Her beauty period, the fact that. she's pretty, she's not she's. conventionally pretty. people consider. attractive, small waist and nice looking. or whatever. >> The more she talk, the more I disagree. with what she's saying. >> Why? >> Thousand%. >> Say why? >> I mean, it it would be tough for me to. explain in this, but I mean, Cardi. wasn't the prettiest. >> and she wasn't traditionally pretty as. >> Yes. >> as society would have it. >> But that's not what that means though. Like it's not like specific she has to.
be the prettiest. I'm saying that. >> the mic the mic. >> she'll have an easier experience than. somebody that people consider ugly. You. can't say that the girl was ugly cuz she. wouldn't be dancing in the club she was. dancing in. You know what I'm saying? >> I don't agree with y'all point about. colorism. I don't agree with anything. y'all saying about colorism. I just. think what y'all saying about Cardi? You. mean you don't disagree with the. colorism? >> I mean, yeah, I don't disagree with what. y'all saying about colorism, but what. y'all are saying about Cardi? I just. don't view I don't I don't I don't view. it like that. Yes, it helps that she's. light-skinned once you get to the part.
of your career where that is going to. help you. But she was thrown to the. side, to the waist, to the gutter with. all of the people that y'all are talking. about these disproportionate Yeah. disproportionate areas. >> Yes. >> schooling, family, all the odds was. against this girl. So for her to be. speaking publicly saying, "Yo, I'm. killing and I worked my way. I worked my. ass off." cool for you to think, hey, that couldn't happen without colorism. But to say that at that time, >> it it discredits all the work and all of.
the adversity that I've overcome to get. to this point. >> No, it doesn't. And I don't care what. y'all say. It's not true. If I'm saying. over and over and over, I'm not speaking. of her talent. I'm talking about this. country. Joe just said, "Oh, well, it. would happen later down." No. From the. beginning, her being lighter helps her. Period. It's not at a certain point in. her career, at a sport they look at her. ghetto. Cool. They look at her all that. Imagine how they look at the black ones. If they think that about her, they think. 10 times worse about a dark one. That's. a bad and that's what I'm talking about. >> That's what she's saying. Both things. are true.
>> That's what I'm saying. That's not what. you're saying. That's what I'm saying. >> She just said we She just said Joe's. wrong in his point that he made. >> cuz he said colorism didn't wasn't he. >> because he said at a certain point in. her career. >> Yeah. Yeah. He did. He said he said at. the beginning it didn't, but at some. point when you get here it does. She's. saying from the beginning colorism is a. factor. And you're saying both things. are true that colorism could be a factor. and she worked her ass off, right? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. That's what we're saying. I'm I'm. not the person to speak on it, but. >> All right. >> Of course you are. >> Why not? >> Why wouldn't you be? >> That's cool. >> You pretty and light-kinned.
>> Because no matter which way he go, he. think they going to drag him. And that's. the thing really. Don't nobody want to. hear no yellow [ __ ] opinion about. [ __ ] It'll save your light-skinned. tears and all that. And I get that too. But the thing that I noticed when I. first came out, it would be all these. high yellow. In my opinion, every black. family got some ginger, high yellow. ginger, freckleface type of. light-skinned cousin, right? So, me. being from Philadelphia, seeing people. like like me, and it's not a strange. thing. So many of those people reached. out to me like, "Oh, we finally have. somebody to stand up for us and we" It's.
like people feel silenced in that. Just. like I said a couple times, I think that. eventually they'll find a new word for. what a lot of high yellow people. experience because people get into these. fights and a light-skinned person will. say, I've had lights people say to me, well, I suffer from colorism, too, cuz. they treat me funny cuz I'm light, but. that's not what the colorism means. So. then the next thing for get annoyed, too. >> But that's but the next thing a light. people, well, well, what did I. experience? So why DON'T YOU NAME WHAT I. went through and why why if we a black. community and we all know what that like. if you know what I mean? do in certain.
rooms, certain areas. People had babies, they oh she pretty you her hair long, you got they going to want to fight her. It's a known thing that we talk a. certain way, right? And behave a certain. way. Why when we say it, it's like what? Like what the why do we not know now. what goes on in our communities? That. doesn't make any [ __ ] sense. >> Just to wrap this up for me, I I think. it's about timing. I think if if Card's. giving us telling a story about her. success and somebody says, "Nah, [ __ ]. it's cuz you light-kinned." That's bad. timing and and dis disregards what she's. saying. But if somebody brings up the. conversation about colorism and then she.
responds and says that's not true, I. think it's okay for somebody to respond. and say, "No, no, no. It's a it's a fair. thing to consider." So for me, it's all. about why we're having the conversation. If you're just shooting somebody's [ __ ]. down, yeah, I think that is wrong. But I. think it's also okay for us to have. healthy, good conversations about. >> it's needed. And I have another. conversation. >> I was surprised. She's smart. She has a. favorite president. She likes history. She's very intelligent. I don't hear her. say a lot of stupid [ __ ] I think she's. very intelligent. It surprised me when. she said it. And if I I feel like if I. know her at all or what I think that I. know, somebody has already talked to.
her, educated about it. Card's not the. type of person that's gonna be, you know. what I mean? Like I feel like she could. be grown enough to say, "Oh, well, you. know, now that I looked at this or read. that or whatever, you know, surprised. custody. WOMEN DON'T USUALLY LOSE." Y'ALL SEE. THIS? >> Women don't. >> They just announced that Halle Berry is. her ex got custody. >> How old is he? uh. >> 13 I think something like that. >> That's some unusual. >> She hit him though, didn't she?
>> Alleged. Allegedly, >> although she pulled up the pictures to. show she black mom ass whooping. >> I think when you 13 I think when you 13. uh and and it's contingent a lot of. stuff upon what state you're in, but. they start to take the child's opinion. into consideration. So sometimes they'll. go speak to the actual kid and interview. the kid and see um what their what their. thoughts are. They want best interest of. the child. >> Yeah. Instead of. >> Yeah. And it's still temporary, but it.
seems like that's the way um it was. going. Hi was just trying to get 50/50. again. And when you can't even get 50/50. as the mom, that's not a good sign. >> But they'll do that temporarily. They. she probably going to get her 50/50 back. when they come back to court. >> I hope so. >> She rich. >> I don't know. You think she would get it. back? >> [ __ ] right. after something happened. to I don't know after something happened. and they talked to the boy and the dad. is saying I want my son. >> So what she had 50/50 first and then he. went and got it um he got sold custody.
>> He put it like that boy was in danger. That's what he did. >> That's that's the argument is that she. beat him. >> was in danger. She whooping his ass. >> And this is the part where it gets tough. for me. >> I mean I [laughter] go ahead. >> I mean there's a couple factors here. I. don't believe in hitting kids. You. shouldn't hit your kids. Mhm. >> But I also think that it's extreme when. if what happened if it went down exactly. the way they said it did. >> I'm sorry. M just came in with with his. costume. He's so unserious. [snorts].
He's such an unserious person. >> Bob Ross. >> I like it. >> I all crazy. >> You are Bob Ross, too. Yeah. He leaning. in. >> Hello, Monty. >> How you doing, Bob? Yeah, but you got paint on your. thingamajig and that's not what you the. bar ro. canvas. >> Good to see you. You look good. I love. the I love the uh. >> y plays.
[laughter]. >> [ __ ] Bob Ross up here. >> Red. >> Welcome. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I'm glad you took the holiday serious. Word. >> I I knew you guys were going to pull. through. I knew y'all was. I'm really. sick that y'all just don't like What's. wrong with y'all? Like why? >> Joe had a mask and a hammer. No, I'm. Yeah, I'm. >> I got a mask, too. I just took it off so. I could pot. I couldn't breathe. >> Okay, >> relax. >> Come on, Mon. I thought you was going to. dress in with it. >> You got hair. You could have did poison. ivy. You could. >> spice girl. >> I'm a baby mom.
[laughter]. >> I wanted to do something I could really. do well. >> Step into. >> Get into. >> All right. Yo, how far in advance do you. like playing your costumes? >> You know what's funny? >> Crazy. I just wake up and just just. handle with that wig and beard handy. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Mind you, do any of us know how Bob. acted? >> Not like that. >> Your ass cuz us up. You giving black. Bob. >> That's how he acted. >> Baby rolly Bob. >> You know what I'm saying?
You. >> look good. >> He did Bob so well. We feel like we know. Bob. >> Thank you. I like the body bag. This is. fire. You put some effort into today. >> Thank you, man. >> You did, man. I don't think snakes are. scary, but that's that's. >> I I just wanted to say I wanted to. before y'all continue on. >> Did you see snakes on the plane? >> That Yeah. >> I wanted to comedy. >> What is that? >> I wanted to commend you. >> Oh, well, thank you. >> I really don't. I I took a video of me. laughing. Who's your acting coach?
>> Cory. [laughter]. >> He came in on you on your big day. >> Yeah. [laughter]. I don't like. >> that was fire though. >> Was fire. >> But still, right? >> But still, [ __ ] that [ __ ] talk like. [laughter]. >> My bad. Hold on. That [ __ ] talk like. the intro to crime in America through. every line. >> Yeah, I saw I saw the internet. [laughter]. I saw it. >> You got [clears throat] anything. original?
>> Oh, [laughter] all cover songs. >> Got again. Oh, that's [laughter]. >> that's got your look back, too. >> Mark was telling us about some serious. Him and Mona have done an excellent job. this Halloween episode of covering all. the really serious activist topics like. colorism and getting your children taken. away from you and you want and the. proper name of ringing doorbells and. running away. [laughter] So, we get. Dixie. >> We get to it. Amber Rose doesn't suck.
dick. Lamar ODMS is starting Only Fans. and Cardi B wouldn't be where she is. >> But what was the first one? >> Amber Rose don't suck dick. >> That's what she said. >> She's a mom. >> any longer. She's a mom. >> She say she never did. >> She said she don't. She's a mom. >> Unless she's in a serious relationship. >> She has children and she. >> press play on this and hear everything. we had to say about Got you. Holly. Barry. >> Uh it sound like y'all don't want to. talk. Let's move on to something else. >> No, I'm we're talking I don't have. nothing mature to say about it. >> We don't have to be mature. Well, then.
they're going to call me mean things. [laughter]. >> They're going to do that anyway. >> Yo, if you seen the picture that homeboy. the kid took of Holly Berry, it looked a. little scary. >> Then you get it is all you get it. So. they stripped her of custody for now. Temporarily as they. >> Yeah. [laughter] What the from this. cuckoo cat lady? >> Yeah. >> Yes. You think something wrong with. that? I think this is what I think.
happened. If you want my real analysis. of what happened, I think the kid was. probably being a dick. She got mad and. she's like, "I'm going earn you some. respect today." Should she have beat. him? No, I don't believe in that. However, I don't think it was some [ __ ]. that requires your kid to get taken from. you. What they let you say? She said. you're a like your white father or some. parent. >> And that's WHAT I'M TRYING TO I FEEL. LIKE this is some co-parent drama [ __ ]. and the kid is in the middle and the kid. clearly took the dad's side and he's. riding with dad and being a little bit. more of a dick cuz of he's doing some. dad. >> being a little [ __ ] just like his dad. >> Exactly. For a kid to take the dad side.
>> Mhm. >> is telling. >> How often do you see a kid take the dad. side? >> I was flying with my son when he took. the stand against me. Little true. What? >> What's not true? >> Kids sometimes will go to the quote. unquote cooler parent that let you get. away with mad [ __ ]. >> because that parent is not the parent. that's dealing with the daytoday. hardship. So when you go over there,
it's cake and ice cream and fun [ __ ] So. of course as a child you going to be. like, "Yo, I want to go over there." Cuz. you think it's going to be cake and ice. cream and fun every day. You don't. necessarily get disciplined over there. the same way you get disciplined in your. primary residence. >> That's why he wouldn't get off the video. game. She told me to go off the video. game. That's a perfect example of it. >> And you ask and you asking me this while. I'm mad at her. >> Yeah. Like. >> and there's a side of the the parent who. actually has custody is actually just. happens to be the better parent. >> right now. They have 50/50 up until this. up until the the moment. >> So maybe it's possible this little has a.
better relationship with his dad because. the dad just happens to be a better. parent. >> Could be. >> It could be that white. >> I don't want to say that's gay. >> I don't know. I just don't want to. assume that because of this one moment. that she's a bad parent and I don't want. to assume that she's a good parent. I. have no idea. But but boob a mom boob. boppinging her 13 year old kid because. he's being disrespectful. >> I've just seen that before. Bad. parenting. I I've seen a lot of I'm. saying don't hit your kids. But like it. ain't the worst I've ever seen. >> Part of why you're answering a certain. way is because he's white. >> No, it's cuz she's fine. >> What?
>> That's my answer. No, no, I'm kidding. >> I think that's why he took the ass. whooping that way is because him and his. dad are white and they're not used to. that. So whoa. You did what? No. That. Yo, she beat my ass. You think it's his. first ass whooping at what age is he? >> 13. >> 13. You think it's his first ass? >> She bringing that out. He now when you. get when you get to that age. >> that teenage the ass whapons do change. Or I might be taller than you. I might. be bigger than you. So it's a different. level of ass whooping once you go from a. kid to a teenager. >> I just think you rarely see men get.
custody or temporary custody in. situations. >> Yeah, I said that right before you came. on. >> But in this situation, [laughter] I know. I'm going to repeat it. I think in this. situation, I want to take consideration. that the court might see or hear. something that would lead to them. feeling like she just ain't it. Like, yeah, give them give them to the father. >> And they saying it's temporary. So, you. know, we'll see when they dig deeper. next month. We'll find out. >> A lot of men don't take her to court to. try to get full custody either. >> And we're going to follow up on this. story on our Christmas episode, [laughter]. >> Thanksgiving.
>> Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. [laughter]. See if they gave L man back for the. holidays. He'll be back. He is. >> pop single. All right. I don't want this. [ __ ] all the time. What do you What do. you What do you What type of parents you. think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are? >> Let me ask y'all that since you can't. ever guess about somebody's parents. [laughter] Can't ever tell. I mean, we. were not in the house with them. >> I got my theories. >> What do you What do you think about. them, too? As parents, >> I'm you know, I'm I'm wary of people. that adopt a bunch of kids from another.
country. >> Yeah. I I think they might be downstairs. doing. >> not I don't mean abusive. I mean like. making them make sweaters and. >> Yeah. [laughter]. Yes. That's exactly what I meant. >> Sweat shop. >> That's exactly what I meant. >> Not abuse, just a sweat shop. Not a big. deal. >> I meant like Yeah. >> Yeah. No. No. I think that I think that. I think a lot I know a lot of people. adopt kids and a lot of time the worst. cases they being a little neglectful. >> I don't think Brad Pit adopted any kids. >> That's a fact. >> I think Angelina Jolie adopted them. kids. He just so happened to be married.
to her. >> Yeah. He lived. >> and the minute we split your kids. >> That's how you know she got good. >> Mhm. >> Good come to you with an idea. You never. would have fathomemed that somehow it. flies. >> Sounds sound all right. This might work. though. >> I will adopt 19 of those. This might. work. >> We seen on the red carpet with Billy Bob. Thornton back in the days. They making. out and. >> Yeah. >> doing all that type of [ __ ] at the at. the red carpet. >> Sex was addictive. >> Yeah. >> Huh. That's what he said. them lips. >> She's fine.
>> She's Yeah, it's another one with an. insatiable appetite. >> Billy Bob. What? Angelina. >> What? Wait, what? [laughter]. >> What? >> You just asked if it was Angelina or. Billy Bob. We don't give a [ __ ] about. his appetite. >> No, it's a joke. A call back that Joe. had. >> Oh, I miss I'm late. All right. My bad. You know, my bad. >> Sometimes you just got to get into the. rhythm of the show when you. >> I'll pick it up. I'll [laughter] pick it. up. >> I'll pick it up. Congrats though. Potter. of the month. >> Oh yeah. Yeah.
>> Everybody has won potter of the month. [applause]. >> A lot of people thought a lot of people. thought the award was like at an alltime. [snorts] low and then no one was paying. attention anymore and that voter turnout. was bad. >> So they figured they still. >> So let me ask you a question. But you. you turned the things around. >> Never mind the month. Never mind the. month. >> What happens if the year happens? If the. year. >> now what what happens if at the end of. the year you start doing your voting. >> and it's just like you not even in the. top three. >> I think that could happen.
>> Okay. >> What would you say? >> Moon could be made of blue cheese as. well. >> We also don't have a potter of the year. chain. So. >> yeah, I'm I am the reigning potter of. the year. Yeah. >> I I think you are talking about a fall. from grace. >> Maybe. >> I'm okay. I'LL BE OKAY. [laughter]. STOP doing that. Make me feel. comfortable. [laughter] I hate. nervousness. >> This beard is not it. >> No, I think you are going to win pot of. the year, man. You've earned it.
>> Uh, but no, I salute to everybody that. voted. It's dope. I will be taking the. chain on tour again. So, catch me at. your next GK. Catch me at your next bar. We going to see you going to put the. chain on this month. >> We be the same door stops [laughter]. Singapore. Yo, looking at you in this uh outfit, this costume. >> like a commodor. [laughter]. blu [ __ ]. >> Oh, >> it's reminding me that I was way later. in life when I realized Bob Ross was.
white. >> You thought you thought he was something. or like just lightkinned? >> What did you think? He looked like a. white dude to be. >> at first. He didn't give off white. >> What did you think he was? >> Well, I was too young to pay attention. to all that, but I certainly didn't. think it was a white dude. >> Really? His swag didn't even give off. white. >> White dudes on the way he was painting. them trees and sun sun sets [laughter]. that it didn't it just didn't strike me. as white. >> Huh? >> When you want to dress up one day your. your daughter now make you know. >> you dress up every day. [laughter]. >> You wouldn't put on if your daughter.
wanted to do like a like a match and. jump with you. >> You're not centering me though. >> I'm asking you a question. I'm ask [ __ ]. We'll start a fire. Take this. Yeah, we not only. >> I'm only asking [laughter]. me I'm only asking you cuz you you. >> I think we should get rid of that in. 2027. >> What? Centering? >> We're not centering. >> Wow. You'll never be the center. >> That's true. >> I just don't think that it's uh good for. the flow of the show. [laughter]. >> Got you. >> If we were the center parks, what how do.
we center him? >> We've centered him just not for not for. long. Not often. >> I him a bunch, >> but it's positive usually. >> Not if you dig into what I'm [laughter]. saying. I said he has cats. >> I told you my theory about him having. cats. >> My my profile on him. That wasn't. positive. >> I said I always say he don't know where. Rim is. [laughter]. >> And that best friend story was. definitely centering you. >> It was. >> Oh yeah. When he tried to pull that. little move, that childhood friend move. >> Yeah, that wasn't a little move. >> Yeah, he tried it. He tried it. Sh.
>> Don't. [ __ ]. [laughter]. I thought you saw that. >> Oh, what an awkward time that was. [laughter]. >> Anyway, like kind of like now, >> right? >> Why y'all so awkward on Halloween? Is it. cuz old? >> No, >> it's no longer like a a fun holiday. >> Halloween [clears throat] fun. >> Come on. Let's go throw eggs at somebody. or something. >> Let's do something. Ding. What?
>> Y'all play Did y'all play Ding-Dong. Dixie? >> 100%. >> Thank you. He know what it means. He. knock and run. >> Yes. But have you ever heard ding-dong. Dixie? >> No, I heard ding-dong ditch. >> Okay. Well, there it go. >> You see how you picked it up in context? >> We didn't say Dixie, but I knew what he. didn't figure out. First of all, who in. here believes somebody? >> Yo, I lived. >> about what? >> I lived in a project. We 100% played. ding. >> That's why that's what I was saying. [laughter]. >> It wasn't houses.
>> Wow. >> Yo, you talking about a different game. >> this year. [laughter]. That's not what is that. >> the different game. >> Yeah, I forgot your situation. >> all this. different. The game we talking about, it. [laughter] wasn't like for the projects. >> Wait, wait. All you [ __ ] lived good. all your life? >> Uh, yes. No, actually. Yeah. Pretty good. Don't sit on here. Pretty.
good. >> The neighborhood you lived in, >> there was houses in Queens. Is them. other [ __ ] there too? >> I mean they were houses is all I'm. saying. So. >> So the person. >> Yo, where you going to run to? Down the. hall? >> Yes. Down a stairway [laughter]. and go to the next floor, [ __ ] Yes. >> Your childhood. >> That's the worst game ever. >> Yeah. Yo, your childhood footsteps of. >> Yo, tell [laughter]. shuffle project had way more fun than. you [laughter] house [ __ ] You sure. did. 100%. Let's see. Yo, let's see. Let's.
see. Go wet the elevator up the most. with our [laughter]. piss more than you. >> Look scary. >> And if we come jump you [ __ ] trying to. come to our building [ __ ] our girls. [laughter]. >> Y'all be the [ __ ] You You see y'all be. CATCH. >> I KNEW ONCE Y'ALL PISSED HIM OFF. THE. beard was coming down. >> I couldn't [laughter]. say. >> I WANTED TO count it down, but I knew it. was about. >> Yeah, that [laughter] Listen, Project. Fun was fun. >> Project F was fun. We had good times. It's a little uh our little barbecues.
out in in in the little. >> playground. >> Keep playing. >> They be. >> Am I lying? >> That's project. >> They be in the playground, >> right? Ain't no place else to have them. >> It should be fun. >> Project. >> I can see projects should be fun. >> It's fun. >> Yeah, I I can see that. >> Yeah. >> You spend a lot of time with projects? >> I did. >> I'm like, but I could go home. [laughter]. >> All right, y'all. real going to my house. before in the driveway. [laughter].
>> I check out I'm going to go check out. this heat. >> No, no, no, no, no. Heat. [laughter] is crazy. Heat is the best. heat you going to get. >> You got to have the windows up in. winter. Yeah, cuz you can control it. [clears throat] It's just [laughter]. hot. >> You spent your whole life talking [ __ ]. about projects and came back to the. project. The [ __ ]. >> I love the project. No, no. >> Yeah, that's what you did. No, I got. money. But what I'm saying is you got. them now. >> I know you got them now. >> Y spent your whole life coming into the.
projects chasing after the women from. there and y'all got so much bad to say. about it. You ain't no about a good. plan. >> Very few. >> No, that's smart though. E [laughter]. >> very. few. >> Very few. >> That Listen, that's mother luxury condo. dick. He don't [ __ ] with no project. >> I'm not even saying that. I'm just. telling you. Very. >> co-op. >> Luxury apartment dick, baby. [laughter]. >> Co-op dick. >> Co-op. >> Co-op city. >> Oh man. Anyway, um, what else needs our. attention? Let me see. Uh, oh, oh, no, no, no, no, no. Ernie Johnson. Ernie.
Johnson retired. >> The legend, the icon. Well, he announced. his retirement from that show. >> cuz he didn't cuz he didn't retire, but. he's leaving the show that he was on for. 27 years. Let me see if I could find his. uh heartfelt speech. But yeah, man. Sad. day. Sad sad sad sad day. Some people. kind of felt like this was coming. See, I I would have never thought he would. have left. I thought they would have all. retired at the same time. >> Hey everybody, Ernie Johnson here.
inside the NBA for a long time. This is. my 37th year. >> And I've long described it as a get to. job. >> Still amazed that I get to do this for a. living. That's. >> how I feel about my job. Ernie turned. >> 70 this past summer. Folks have asked. me, "So, how long are you going to keep. doing inside?" I already looked good for. 70. to answer that. >> This will be my last season. Totally my. decision. >> It's just time.
>> It's been an honor to share so many. nights, decades actually, at the desk. with my brothers Kenny, Charles, and. Shaq, and with our production crews who. are so talented and devoted. And I so. appreciate the leadership at TNT and. ESPN for allowing the show to continue. So, why now? >> Let's get to it. >> Total honesty here. >> Myself on my preparation, the hours I. put in every day getting ready for the.
next show. I've always loved that part. of my job. But I've always vowed that if. that ever became more of a challenge. than it is a joy, then. >> I'll know it's time to step away. And. now, after 37 [clears throat] seasons, it's time. And there's something else, and I'll. just call it a a contributing fact. >> For nearly two years now, I've dealt. with heart issues. Had bypass surgery 14. months ago. >> Still trying to get this thing to beat.
exactly the way it should. And we're. getting there. I mean, I feel great. So, this isn't a case where my doctor said, "You need to stop working." It's nothing. like that. >> But here's the deal. Going through that has made me treasure. even more every second. >> with my amazing wife of 44 years, Cheryl. and puppy to our five grandchildren. >> So I just want down a bit, >> spend more time enjoying that. >> Just to be clear, I'm not retiring, just.
cutting back. I'll still do March. Madness and other projects for TNT and. CBS. I've just started a new production. company called 32 bow ties geared toward. telling feel-good stories in sports. So. this is by no means the end. It's just. >> go Ernie man. >> It's just a turning of the page. >> One of the absolute best ever. >> Yeah. Sure enough. >> Super duper class act. >> Word. >> Word. >> Word. >> When you hear people talk about him, it's always reverence. It's all. >> the when you can make start tearing up.
just talking about you. >> Yeah. >> That's the thing. And that's that's a. testament to who you are and how you. live. I think it's fire. >> You think they break up the show or do. they try to find a replacement? >> Didn't Charles Barkley say he ain't. gonna stay if Ernie don't stay? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I think Charles. >> I could imagine that squad. >> Charles was kind of hitting that this is. it fam. >> I think the show is over. >> I think that show's over time. I think. it's over. I think so. >> I think and I'm not mad at it neither. You think about the run that they've. had. >> No, they did what they did. >> I think once they made that transition, the show was never quite the same. I.
think Ernie could feel that. >> It's like why why keep pushing forward? It's a really classy way to say, "Hey, you guys, this show. >> is a rap. >> is a rap on ESPN.". >> I don't feel the same way I felt when it. was on TNT. I don't even feel the same. way looking at it to be totally honest. with you. It don't hit the same. Um, >> I mean, Annie's saying I'm still going. to be working with TNT, >> CBS. >> And I started my own production company. I mean, that's all of the work except. for one work, >> which is ESPN.
>> Yeah. >> So, >> classy way to do it, though. >> Yeah. expect nothing less from the guy. >> cuz he didn't have to give us all that. He could have just said last season, well, I just like the honesty and why. I'm doing it. And. >> and I mean, I hear from a lot of people. that were just super successful and and. and great and married to the gig later. on about how important it is for them to. spend more time with the kids or the. grandkids or the YA for just in the. house or around the house, going to. events that they missed or being just. more present.
>> Yeah, man. And and it's always or not. always, but often times it's that. life-threatening event. >> that put it into perspective where you. start to look at your family versus work. and you see that your family is way way. way more important than punching the. clock every day, >> right? Especially at 70. You know what. I'm saying? It's it's it's cool. >> You look at all that time you missed and. it's like, I missed that. I ain't. missing no more. >> Right. True. >> I'm there for everything. [ __ ]. >> Congrats. Congratulations. word. Thank. you for everything.
>> Word. >> Uh, >> literally decades of work. >> We appreciate you. We love you. You're. in the Hall of Fame. Your jerseys up in. the air. >> Uh, just thank you for everything, man. Go, Ernie. >> To hear them get choked up was was was a. thing, too. >> Yeah, it was. They all choked up. >> Charles Charles for sure. >> He went first. >> Charles went first. So, to hear him, you. know what I mean? Um, >> I got a little choke. >> No, me too. I The first time I heard it, I like, "Oh, man.". >> Mhm. >> Yeah. again. Go Ernie, man. Shout out to. everybody from that.
>> indeed. >> show. Speaking of people that are are. super successful, right? I want to play. this clip for you guys. This is some uh. mega wealthy entrepreneur. >> ranking the traits that will make you. rich. >> You're my son. >> In the next few years. Never that, [ __ ] Watch your [ __ ] mouth. You. talk to the god. You crazy. Um I just. want to see what you guys think about. the list. >> Let's hear. All right. Come on. >> And the ranking of each. Yeah. >> Traits that will make you rich in the. next 5 years. Intelligence.
>> I'd say eight. There's now a cleverer. machine than all of us for 20 quid a. month. Intelligence has never mattered. less. >> Talent. >> 10. I think it's overrated. It's one of. the most overrated things there is. The. graveyards are full of talented people. who gave up. On its own, it's worth. nothing. >> Adaptability. >> Four. And climbing up the chart every. week. Everything I knew at 21 is. worthless now, except knowing how to. change my mind quickly. The stubborn. people always get left behind. I'd say seven. Everybody's got it. It's. the cheapest thing in the room.
>> Rapport. >> I think that's two. I think that's. important. The robots can write the. email, but they can't make someone want. to do business with you. The scarcest. still going. >> Confidence. >> Six. It gets you to the meeting, but it. doesn't win the deal though, does it? >> Competitiveness. >> Five. I never wanted to come second. Not. ever. Not in business. Not even at. Monopoly. Ask our children. >> Passion. >> Nine. Well, do what you love. It's. lovely on a mug, but it pays nothing. Do. what pays and then love what it frees up. for you to do. >> I disagree with three. This is the. engine of the whole thing. I lost a.
million a million pounds in the. restaurant business and I was back at my. desk the next morning. That's the game, I'm afraid. >> Cunning. >> Number one, controversially, the most. important of the lot. And nobody will. say it out loud. I don't mean being. duplicitous. I mean seeing three moves. ahead while everyone else is patting. themselves on the back and. congratulating themselves. >> I'm not mad at that. Number one, I think. compassion was way too low for me. personally and talent really honestly. >> Yeah. >> Nah, I think the industry he speak. >> he talking about in business. >> Yeah, >> I am too. >> But I think we come from a a passionate.
background that. >> even people I knew that were in. restaurants as he cited for an example. if they didn't love the restaurant. My. sister as soon as she stopped liking. that [ __ ] sold all the like I don't like. this no more. I'm not going to do this. anymore. Like you have to care about the. thing that you're doing for the most. part unless you're strictly in an. investment kind of situation. If that's. all you're doing is investing, I'm I'm. with him. But if you're starting a. business, you should care about the. business. I think personally. >> agree. >> I agree with a lot of what he said. I I. think I do think it's interesting when.
people kind of formate this way like. this one general way of how you should. do business. And I don't think it's. always that. Like I do think like the. talent part he said, I agree to a. certain aspect, but you need to have you. need to have some talent. Like you just. it can't just be the bottom. [clears throat] at of the list for for. me. I love certain industries. >> I'm sorry. I I love adaptability. >> Me, too. >> You know, cuz I think that's a thing. that as I. >> get older, I realize is so important to. be successful. >> Um, just given what all of us do and our.
together, but also individually, every. field we're in, if you don't adapt, >> whether it's music, whether, you know, performing, whether it's behind the. boards, whether it's real estate, whether it's media, like the [ __ ] if. you don't adapt is, you can't survive. Uh-huh. >> I think the socialility I think it was. where he was talking [clears throat]. about the email can the computer can. write the email but you have to want to. sell people. I think that's. >> it was called rapport but relationships. and relationship relationships super. important. He was number two, right? >> It was high. Yeah, it might have been. three. Whatever it was, it was it was up. there. It was high.
>> Yeah, I I agree with him. I think most. of the stuff that he said I agree with. spot on. Maybe uh number his number one. because you know they were from England. Yeah. So some of the wording was. different. He said cunning I think was. number one. I don't necessarily. [clears throat] agree with that, but um. I I think the passion he was dead on. I. think um the uh what was number 10? Talent. >> And and I think he was dead on. I think. we we kind of um a lot of talented. people work for the other person. >> So true. >> And that is a talent to spot talented. people, but it's not ranked all the way.
up here. You get what I'm saying? >> A lot of people with talent rely on. talent or think that it's worth more. than what it is. True. You know what I'm. saying? Especially in music and. entertainment. Or again, a lot of. talented people work for the person that. don't have the talent. >> True. >> And so I think that some of those things. even with passion, like when you when. you're super duper passionate, you're. not as adaptable, >> right? >> You get what I'm saying? So that. adaptability, when you super duper. passionate, you want to do it this way. because you love it for the art and all. that. And sometimes that don't generate. no revenue. And so the people that are.
adaptable, people that are moving to AI. and not fighting AI, those people are. starting to be more and more successful. And we seeing it every day. So, I I kind. of agree with most of the he said. >> Um, yeah, I just thought it was pretty. interesting. I agree with. >> pretty much the whole I agree with the. whole list. >> Most of my I do. Uh, probably the. biggest shocker for me was him putting. cunning at one. I was sitting the whole. list waiting for the the the plot twist. for that. >> Yeah. >> And and that was it for me. And how he.
described it. Yeah. I think that's more. important than all of that. youight. staying ahead. Yeah. Just being able to. think ahead ahead of the curve. Not stay. away from staying away from group think. and being a sheep and all that. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Good list. Uh speaking of question. speaking of. >> about which of those are your strengths? >> Which of these honestly uh the cunning. part and the adaptability part? >> I had them for you. and um um rapport,
relatability, cuz like it or hate it, people want to. >> talk to you or hear what you have to. say. You know what I'm saying? Either on. a professional side, artistic side, a. broadcast side, people give a about you. >> Yeah. I I think um. >> I think the talent applies too. I just. feel like he does about the talent, >> right? >> I just think it's low. >> Was like hard work on there. I didn't. hear that. >> See, the repetition part was repetition. Okay. >> That that to me would have higher. That's what I would have. >> that I would have that much higher. I've.
learned and I've seen people who are. talented who might be smart in business. but they have no desire to repetition. they get dragged work ethic number one I. would have cuz I call my repetition is. consistency I thought he was going to. say consistency but he repetition he is. the wording he used to be number one. >> that would have been my number one. consistency. >> yeah me too. >> uh speaking of people that were. successful in business we going to. Spencer Haywood who was talking about uh. an opportunity he got from Nike before.
they were really Nike. Uh we got 10% uh. equity in the company and his manager. sold it. >> What? >> Here we go. >> Said, "Okay, I'm going to give you some. stock in this company." First of all, >> I was young, too. And I'm thinking, livestock. >> Yeah. >> You talking about stocks? So I get to. stop and my boy that I let do the. negotiation. He was like struggling, you. know, have them bills taken care of. So.
he was like convincing me, man, that. shoe is never going to work because look. at what happened. Because when I was. walking, running down the floor, guys. would come behind me and pop my shoe. off. >> So they could step on your heel and. >> step on my heel. That Nike didn't have. the technology. >> It was new. It was a running shoe. Yeah. >> Yeah. From prefontaine. >> Uhhuh. >> Yeah. It was That's kind of. >> preontaining. That's crazy. [laughter]. >> So, so it popping off. So, I'm like. maybe. So, I said, "Okay, man. I I give.
you the power of attorney. Let me just. >> go play. I got I got to play. I got to. really focus on this now because this is. >> And when I came back, he had so much. shit." I said, "Man, I got the cash. right here. >> 100,000.". >> $100,000. >> So, any idea what that could have been. today? 10%. >> It was up around 2.7 billion. >> God years ago. >> You still friends with him? >> Yes. [laughter].
>> That's the part I couldn't. So, >> I mean, this it was a little bell. It. was 1973. >> So, so $100,000 was a lot. >> Mhm. >> And. >> Yeah. >> And nobody knew Nike. >> It was It wasn't a It wasn't a. >> foresight. Yeah. >> Nobody knew stock. >> Nobody knew stock. Yeah. and he was. averaging 29 points a game in 19. He was. the man and he wanted he deserved a big. deal and this was a huge deal. I mean. >> people weren't making that NBA salary. >> $100. I mean I'm just saying just to. give a little context. >> Oh I give them a lot of context like.
they offer they they offer Magic uh a. crazy deal. I think uh what they offer. Magic was 100,000 shares or a certain. percentage of equity and that money. today would have been worth five mil. five bill pardon me and Magic turned it. down for I think $50,000 from Converse. So that puts it in perspective. And that. was 1980. So you talking about 10 years. before that. You know what I'm saying? Magic Johnson turned down that and for. either 50 grand or 100 grand from. Converse. So I mean.
>> Mark, you said you would have cut your. friend off. You you would still. >> cuz here's the thing. The money I could. get over. >> We didn't agree to that. The deal was. get the stock. You then went and made a. decision that I didn't say yes to. >> No, he said his man was beat for money. and it was [ __ ] up. >> I get why he did it. He. >> lied too. >> I get why his friend did it, but I'm. saying we agreed to the stock. >> So then not only did you go behind my. back, but you if you went behind my back. and made me 5 billion, I could probably. get over it.
>> But you went against what I said and. lost me a [clears throat]. multigenerational fortune. >> At that time, you don't know that. That's 50 years later. >> I'm talking about now. So, so at what. point cuz again at that time you don't. know that that's a loss. Y'all up and. you the man and you the man. So you you. not mad at that deal. At what point? What? In the '9s, 2000s. >> When do you now realize what he cost you. and now you're mad at him? >> And this is where you're more mature. than me. >> The moment that stock sold, >> the moment I found out how much Nike was. worth,
>> I'd stop speaking to you then. >> But it wasn't worth it. >> I don't find out why you at my house. >> It wasn't worth it. It wasn't worth it. No, >> you're not. You know what I'm saying? I'm saying the moment I have the benefit. of hindsight and I realize what his. mistake cost us, >> that would be the last time we spoke. >> I don't care about Thanksgiving. >> You would have cut him off in 999. You. would have cut him off in. >> [ __ ] I would care if it was today. >> No, I'M SAYING 25 YEARS LATER. GET THE. MARK. >> YES. >> WE SITTING THERE EATING THANKSGIVING. give a power of attorney, >> yeah, >> that's from you. Cuz every decision you. make after that, you got to be willing. to risk he going to do right or wrong. >> That's a fact. >> You can't you can't be mad at him. >> Yes, you can. YOU CAN BE BOTH. I MEAN, >> I've been seeing a lot of reports with. this chance lawsuit about the managers. are going to have more uh fiduciary. responsibility for acting uh not in. their client's best interest. Yeah. >> Again, hindsight is definitely 2020. You. know what I'm saying? So, we don't we. don't know that back then when he sold. them Nike shares, they might have made a.
buck. I'm sure I think they probably. looking like, "Oh, we came up." I think. if we all in our personal history, we. got some moment where damn, if I have. kept this or if I have did this. differently, I put my name to put my. name in them deeds. [laughter]. >> Not not two billion. >> Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, it matters. >> Joe, if if if you if you and Ian made a. deal and Ian said and you said do X and. he did Y instead and then later on you. found out that it cost you a couple of. billion dollars, could you get over it?
>> Yeah. See again y'all better people than. me. >> again because I mean if it's your good. friend right [clears throat] you're good. friend. >> and also I might have did some dumb [ __ ]. too that some yo there's the other side. of that you don't know how long he' have. kept them stocks if he didn't do it. >> intent matters bro I think if the. intention of the person was to be. malicious then that's a thing but if you. know they were acting in a good faith. and they just made a up error. >> I think that is it's is. >> I'm not looking at it. >> I think it's always you can't you don't. miss what you never had indeed. >> that's no hold Oh [ __ ] I for me. I said.
that's my thing. >> I don't know. >> This man just talking about grow up in a. project eating pigeons for Thanksgiving. >> Eat [ __ ] No pigeons at Don't talk about. my family. don't [ __ ] around like that. >> fidget in Spanish. >> ish [ __ ] [ __ ] [laughter] you [ __ ] the. [ __ ] you know. >> oh man. >> no I could I couldn't be mad I mean it's. the risk you take yo it's the risk you. take when you put people in position to. make decisions for you got to be. accepting that they might make a bad. decision at some point I'm good with. that but if I tell you to do something. and you say you going to do it and then. do the opposite that's when I'm tight. I'm not tight that you up I'm tight that. you not doing what you said you was. going to do. >> would you give somebody power of. attorney today.
>> Uh. >> business-wise like you you you busy. >> my up. >> No, you you. >> I wouldn't give if I'm of sound sound. mind. No, I wouldn't give up. >> I give limited power to be able to like. sign some deals or some like my agent or. something. But in terms of like being. able to do that level of No, >> but you looking at it like that level. >> That's what he's saying. It wasn't that. level back then. Like yo, that was. probably the 10th thing on his list. Like, yo, that little sneaker brand. ain't going to never amount to H. You know what I'm saying? So he the man.
You said he was averaging 29 points. He. got yam means running around. He got. money. No, I'm saying he got those are. the priorities. Those are priorities. Young and rich. >> They'll have you not look at your stock. portfolio. [laughter]. >> I'm just saying I wouldn't give anybody. power to to buy and sell my stock. >> cuz we know what stock is today. >> Yeah. And that's why I'm not mad at. Spencer. >> I'm mad at Rufus. >> I How you think And how you think Andy. brought the bread back like he ain't. even do no funny [ __ ]. >> Yeah. He ain't run off with it. >> He ain't run off. Yeah. >> He came back and was like, "Yo, I turned. it into this.
>> and we broke bread.". >> That's what I'm saying. This ain't. saying like, "Yo, that's all you got for. it." He was happy that he did that. >> So now if if I wouldn't bust a move, I. come back with bread and we happy over. it. We all now go 20, 30, 40 years. later. >> Everything y'all saying [clears throat]. makes sense. >> Catch your attitude. [ __ ]. >> I'm not speaking to him. >> Yeah. No, I'm not doing better. >> You don't know what Spencer would have. done had he kept the stock itself. He. might. >> I would care if I all two points. I. would get my mother magic beans with it. It's mine. [laughter] You like 2.6?
>> Yeah. >> You know, I can I can redistribute that. to the whole community. >> I'm sure you would. >> You could have You could have real. [laughter]. turkey for Thanksgiving. >> I'll redistribute that to the whole. community. >> I'm going to make you a turkey for. Thanksgiving. [laughter]. >> Hey. >> Yeah. I don't know. I got real. uncomfortable [laughter] going on over. here. Yo. [ __ ]. cool. >> Cool. Cool.
>> Like I ain't making no money. Burger. King. >> You can't talk to the booze, [ __ ]. >> Don't get a [ __ ] off. Nah. Nah. [laughter] Nah. The booze is hilarious. >> Yo, Mo, there's a story I want to talk. to you about. Uh. >> oh. [ __ ] [laughter]. No, cuz it's a Philly story. Not cuz. >> Oh, >> did y'all see this? Earlier in the week, a a truckload of crab legs was stolen.
[laughter]. >> You tried to say I don't like that you. went to motive for that. >> CUZ IT'S A PHILLY STORY. IT'S NOT LIKE. SHE STOLE THEM. >> MHM. >> You Where were you? Just. >> she just happened [laughter]. happens to maybe live in Philly. >> Yo, on the night uh you throwing at Mo. jacket. >> What? >> And she wears a nice jacket. >> And she let you [ __ ] slide, too. She. let both of y'all slide playing with her. name up here too. Both of y'all. >> Uh, Ice and Mark. Anyway, the police are investigating.
>> What happened? >> Oh, you missed that. I missed it. >> Oh, let me tell on you. Oh, snitch. [laughter] This big sweetie over here. >> So, one day. >> I got two leads for you. >> One day I walk in here, right, and I had. somebody hack my my debit. >> You had somebody hack it? >> You know what? I think I know what. you're talking about. >> You caught that, right? Yeah. You see. how they play with you? >> Yeah, but he's involved in it, too. >> Cuz he was the last person to speak on. there. And what Joe Button said was, "Um, what's the odds that all of y'all. account information been hacked?" And.
the day that it finally happens to you, Mona calls out or a coworker calls out. the next day. That's what. >> That was found. That was crazy. >> I don't like how [ __ ] did that. >> It was crazy. It was I'm used to it. >> Somebody said, >> "Yeah." Yeah. Cuz who got hacked? you, >> me, Ish, and uh Mark. >> Yeah, >> but mine was back in June. It was they. [ __ ] that was that was the subject of. the conversation. >> I know you ain't do it cuz you know I. ain't really got nothing to take. >> This is the thing. If I was going to. [laughter] hack anybody take my.
>> sitting right there MY PHONE TAP HIS. PHONE TIME. >> Like I could have did some mirroring. Whatever I had to do could have been. done already. [laughter]. >> He was going to get one. >> Come on, bro. I ain't wasting time with. you [ __ ] I'm sitting with the big. dog. I'm going to get the big dog. >> Little pup. >> Yeah, I'm good. All right, got it. >> I appreciate that though, Bob. You're a. real [ __ ] man. >> You're a real [ __ ]. >> Stop playing with my own name like that. >> Big right. >> Well, police are investigating uh. because thieves snagged cases of frozen. snow crabs in another cargo heist in.
South Phil Southwest Philadelphia. It. was about 4:00 a.m. and they stole 3,000. lbs. >> Godamn. >> of uh. >> I'm hungry though. >> Oh, man. >> The driver was sleep. >> Oh, was he? >> How do I know? [laughter]. OH, ARE WE IN. THE TRUCK? >> She was like, she said, I real. Mario. >> Too many mafia movies to know what. happened, man. >> You know what's up. You know exactly. what happened. Open that. >> I'm going sit up here, fall asleep. There's a camera in here. So, that's. going to prove I was in here the whole. time and didn't know. >> 3,000. Is that what you said? >> 3,000. That's what made this interesting. to me. It wasn't like they just took. like they took like a. camera and say, DM us cuz we did that. before and we went viral with that. But.
I ain't getting no DMs with no Roly. And. just my luck. I say DMs. These really. hit. We got four pounds of crabs left. >> Shut up. Shut [laughter] up. That's. crazy. >> How much they going for? >> That's some down bottom [ __ ]. >> Well, the part of why I wanted to ask is. cuz. >> that ain't down bottom. >> I'm not buying no crab off. >> because y'all like the boosters. >> I'm not buying crab off the truck, bro. [laughter]. >> Not frozen. If it's in the box, it's. still frozen. >> Not me. Not me. Is that Is that like. >> I buy king crab off the truck?

[laughter] I. wouldn't buy stolen. >> Hold on. Let's get back to this. What's. the problem with buying stolen? >> Mark is lying. >> No, I'm I'm. >> We had this conversation. >> This is what I tell you. >> Okay, I'm sorry. >> No, this is what I say. We did have it a. little bit, but what I say is. >> it is unlikely that I would buy stolen. [ __ ]. >> If I came in here, >> but if I did No, but I'm about to say, but but I definitely ain't looking for. it. The thing I always count on y'all. for is having people who will go get.
like I got a booster who will go get I'm. not I'm not I'm not putting [ __ ] on the. street. But if I'm if you walked in here. right now right now that'll go get it. >> If you had that that like you got that. duo, right? >> Okay. >> If you say, "Yo, I got an extra one. >> and my man it fell off the truck." Yeah, I would buy it off him. >> THAT'S WHAT THAT'S I WOULDN'T BE LIKE, "YO, CAN YOU GO GIVE ME A can you go get. me a duo?". >> He wouldn't put an order in. This is. what we This IS WHAT WE FOUND LAST TIME. He wouldn't put an order in cuz Joe had. the same opinion. Also, not only would. they not porters and they don't have. boosters on demand like us three dos.
have women stored in our phones destiny. in quotations Nordstrom and that's. [laughter] why we need to rethink our. lives. But at. least I'mma be delusional in my. >> Yeah. I'm not taking no food that came. from. cuz I need to know. >> Yeah, that's what my mother used to. always say. I need to know who to sue.
So if I'm getting food, it got to be a. store, a restaurant, or something. If. some go wrong with this, I can hold. somebody accountable. You buy that off. the street, you ain't going to never see. him again. >> But you eat street meat. >> Whoa, [laughter] whoa, whoa. >> What is street meat? >> It was a rough time in his life. He was. money. Hal hal truck. Halo truck. He called we. call it street something different. >> Yeah. >> I eat the halo truck. >> Okay.
>> Too good for the trucks too. Bougie boo. >> No. He's saying that he don't know who. to sue. Like when you buy. >> [ __ ] they got to look. They got a. license and [ __ ]. >> [ __ ] you bought you went to 44th. Street in Amsterdam and bought some. food. You don't know who the to sue. >> Ali Muhammad. [laughter]. >> That'll narrow it down. Um parts. >> Exactly. You were a restaurant owner? >> Uh, my family was. >> Your family was. >> Somebody comes to y'all and say, "Look, we got $5,000 worth of of food. >> for $500.". >> You can't do that. >> No. Hell no. That's. >> as a business. You definitely can't do.
that. >> Yeah. >> And that's where most of them are going. to sell crab. Those crabs off that truck. are getting sold to restaurants. They. already got [laughter] the same that. stole them crabs are the same ones that. stole the last crabs cuz they've been on. this crab rack. That's the first place. they going.
