Yes, what has transpired. is absolutely disgusting. This is. unacceptable. It's not retaliatory. This. is we've taken it to a new level. They. want to pulverize Gaza. They have. pulverized Gaza that what's happening. there is absolutely a human rights. issue. This is not, you know, this is. about him resting power. I believe that.

I believe that Netanyahu is should and. and and a lot of Israelis believe that. that and so I think you know everyone. has weaponized the idea of Zionism. meaning that you're you're anti-Israel. most Jews I know and lot listen there. are a lot of exceptions because there's. a lot of Jews that are very you know the. Jews that hate Mam Dani even though he's. done lots of wonderful things he you. know there's Jews that hate every all of. these people because they said they've. criticized Israel I don't conflate a.

criticism uh with Israel as being. anti-semitic, but I can't also deny that. there is a ton of anti-semitism. There. is, and there always has been. Yeah. I. But Netanyahu is not [ __ ] helping. that. He's. the reason anti-semitism has risen. because of his response to this and. because of his, you know, lack of. ability to take a look at how does this. affect Jews worldwide? the Jews worldwide? And it's not. positive. So, I am sympathetic to people. who um you know, want to get rid of him. I definitely want him out. He's worse. than Trump because he's smarter than. Where I come from in. the middle of the country, there's teeny. in Oklahoma City, teeny tiny small. Jewish community. Nobody really knows. where Palestine is or the West Bank or. Israel. Nobody really gives a [ __ ] Our. governments are trying to take away. healthcare and abortion rights, etc.

these chain link fences like and the IDF. patrolling both sides and you know. you're fed a lot of stuff as a Jewish. person which many Jews have spoken about. and what I hate the most. or one of the things that I find um so. uh disturbing is the argument of when we. talk about anti-semitism which is a huge. issue people want to say well they don't. care about what's happening in Darur. they don't care about Sudan there's.

genocides happening there. Look over. there. Why isn't anybody saying anything. about that? As if that's a valid. argument to what's happening with Israel. and Gaza. That's the anti-semit. That's. one of the anti-semitism arguments. Why? Why? They only care when it's Jews. They. only care when it's Jews defending. themselves. So, when you talk about this. issue, it's so complex in so many ugly. areas and in so many ugly ways instead. of a unification. like most is Jews I. know want a two-state solution that.

America, the hyperfixation on helping. Israel, >> I mean, if you live in Oklahoma City, you live in Sunflower City, you're like, "Okay, what about us?" Like, we got a. lot of [ __ ] going on here. Infrastructure, schools closing, hospitals, blah blah blah. And so I can. see how when you know historically about. anti-semitism and how targeted and uh. marginalized Jewish people have been um. the need to feel you know protective but.

as I as I look at it and I didn't really. know that much about it until recently. I grew up I remember being in like. Hebrew school and you would learn about. you know the way it was framed in a in a. in a childlike way and then as I grew up. and learned more about it is you know. Israel is the democracy. of the Middle East. It's the only. democracy. It's this little piece of. land and everyone else around it hates. it and everyone's going to attack it and. there's always and historically that is. what has happened. um and that it's our.

last line of defense against that whole. region of people who are not. like-minded, who are not dem who don't. have democratic values, but what's. happening today isn't representative of. the democracy or democratic values. Um. and and obviously maybe that word is. expired has expired because we're in. quote unquote democracy also here and. that seems to have expired as well. Um, but like you said, you and I, you know, I I do care deeply about human rights. I.

care about human suffering. I It's. sickening. It's absolutely sickening. And also, you and I, I mean, I I won't. speak for you, but my life hasn't been. impacted directly by any of these. policies about President Trump or. Netanyahu other than watching this. horror show, you know, on both sides. I. think Israel, what's happening in Gaza. is a horror show. I think what's. happening in America is a horror show. two different things, right? But um uh. but to not pay attention or to not have. it impact you to be so out of touch. I.

believe that it is mandatory to remain. going to the airport no matter how rich. you get to keep your [ __ ] feet on the. ground. I believe that these all these. billionaires who lose sight of what what. what is happening, you know, what what. what what. real people are dealing with, what real. people are dealing with when they go to. a gas station or they go to a grocery. store or they can't [ __ ] get health. care or they can't have access to a safe. abortion where the mother's life is at.

risk or any of the a million other. examples that I could sit here and give. you, it does affect me. It impacts me. even though it's not my personal life. So what I'm it's I'm taking a long road. to say this, but the those those people. who have a lot of money that don't care. about how it's impacting others and are. building their bunkers in New Zealand. and are saying, you know, things like uh. you know, who don't have a strong opinion about.

what's happening or are able to look. away in the face of human suffering. makes me irate because it is our. responsibility. When you are gifted with a great life. and you make a lot of money and you have. an influence or you have a platform, I. should say, you you do need to be. informed and you do have to get your. [ __ ] ducks in a row because otherwise. you're not even participating in. society. >> You're not participating. You're in a. silo that you've created that could be.

you know you know like and then you. become one of these people that doesn't. have any you can't relate to human. suffering because it doesn't impact you. and you or I could easily just go off. and do that. I mean you've made your. living being political so it would be. weird for you but I could easily just. like I don't want to talk about politics. anymore. I'm not doing it. You know it. would be easier for me. you know, that. would be nice, right? But that's also. spineless. And so, so it is important to. have these conversations and they are. very um you know, people are it's such.

an ugly issue, the Israel issue, our. political situation. Um but I I'm glad. we're talking about it. I am too because. I think about it a lot and I think about. how people that stick their neck out and. talk about it get, you know, immediate. like right now the comment section will. be going crazy um on YouTube and who. gives a [ __ ] But I I I've come up with. a lot of like things that I after. reading about this that I think help me. understand this more. And when you have. a government that the United States and.

Israel both say we are bright shining. examples of democracy, but you have. policies where you quantify. humanness. These humans are more. important than these humans and these. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then when you have. politicians, whether they be Republican. or Democratic, that take money for that. endgame to quantify humanness to say. these these babies are not as important.

because they're Palestinian, >> it it breaks the whole system. And so. once you are dismissive of one group's. humanity. >> and in this in this regard, let's say. Palestinians, but we that we can take it. to America and talk about black people. are very dismissive about the humanity. of black people, over policing of their. neighborhoods, etc. Everything after that, all of the. It's like a gateway drug to. the harder hits. >> And so, I think America's crime has. never been reconciling our issue with. the uh genocide of black people in this. country initially through slavery. And. then we have basically a two-tier court. system. We have there's still a lot of. segregation. So much institutionalized. racism still in this country. And. Israel's, you know, original sin is you. can't create a safe space and then kick.

everybody out of their homeland and. expect to be safe forever. Mhm. >> You know, and it just I think that. there's there has to be a bigger calling. on all of us to call beyond whether. somebody's Jewish, Palestinian, there. has to be a humanness. And that's why I. like a lot of these some of these DSA. candidates that are popping up all over. the US right now. >> cuz they have this message of universal. human rights that's so important to me. like whether they're trans, somebody's. trans, somebody's Palestinian,

somebody's Jewish, somebody's black, whatever, we all have to have the same. value. And I think the the sin of both. of those governments, Israel and the. United States, is they don't value in. universal human rights. >> Yeah, they say they do, but their. policies don't. >> When people are so anti-democratic. socialism, it's like, well, look where. capitalism has brought us. city, I don't know. I don't remember. where exactly, but in the middle of the. country somewhere. And uh we she got. off, we got off to go get our bags at. the luggage carousel off of our flight. And I went to the bathroom while she. waited for our bags. and a white woman. went up to her and said, "What are you. doing here? And where did you come from? What city did you fly in from?" And she. looked at her and said, "What? What? Don't what what like don't even talk. to." And this was happened while I was. in the bathroom. And I know cuz I called.

her. She was like, "Which bag is yours? Which bag is yours?" Cuz she was getting. my bag for me. And the woman just Okay. But and said, "Where are you coming. from? What city did you come from?" Um, and the woman and my friend was like, "Fuck [ __ ] off. I'm at I just got off. this flight." And she didn't respond to. her at all because she's used to this. And I wasn't there in that moment cuz I. would have loved to respond to that. But. can you imagine like when when when. people aren't exposed to that? Can you. imagine being somebody that is at an.

airport collecting your luggage, confronting a black person about where. they flew in from and making sure that. they're getting their luggage? Like it's. so preposterous when you're up close and. personal to that kind of Karen behavior. By the way, I got to play a Karen in a. movie yesterday. I did a day roll on a. movie and I got to let my Karen freak. flag fly for on behalf of black people. to show how [ __ ] crazy white women. can be. Um hopefully it will be viewed. that way because that's exactly what it. was. But uh just the the like that level.

like you really have to see it to. believe it. And I've done documentaries. about racism or privilege before for. Netflix. And when you're talking to a. lot of these white women, they really. don't believe in racism because they. don't see any of it. They're not exposed. to it. It's like being in Oklahoma when. if you live in a suburb that doesn't. have any black people. They don't. believe it because they can't see it. And it's like it's not like white people. are going around looking for racism. You.

know what I mean? It's like where can I. see it? Where is it happening? So to. that story particularly like it's like. how could you ever I wouldn't even go up. to anyone and say that you know what I. mean? The America is still a especially. in a lot of these red states still. pretty segregated. Yeah, Atlanta is a. very, you know, for a red state, it's. very very uh integrated and and great, but in Oklahoma, there's still so much. segregation. And I've just witnessed. this kind of [ __ ] so many times my whole.

entire life that surprises me. Zero. >> Okay. So then what tipped you off to. what what what made you understand how. wrong that was? you I my parents were. super progressive and I I just. immediately as you start forming your. world outside of the world that you grew. up in like this shit's just racist like. these people are just straight up racist. and I waited tables all through college. >> and um then it got it it and then my my. awareness of that got worse as my son.

played basketball aaou basketball and he. played on like an inner city team all. black kids with a couple of white kids. my son being one of the white ones but I. just started Ed seeing like god they're. so they just think they're so much. better and they're so demeaning like. demeaning to other kids on back but just. really grotesque racism and just really. grotesque stuff and then Trump. it's hard for me to even talk about. because I know these people I've been. around these people. >> and then Trump becoming president they. feel like.

You know, nobody wants to see families ripped. apart or parents that are working here. that are have been here for 20 years. that have jobs and are picking up their. kids from school to see them dragged off. by a bunch of thugs who don't even have. any, you know, any experience working in. any sort of, you know, there half of.

them are, you know, probably January. sixlers and just it's just none of it's. popular, none of it is right, and none. of it is modern. You know, they're. taking us back. We've never had this. country that we're talking about. You. know, America is an ideal, right? It's. an experiment. I think. they're necessary. I think they're a a.

symptom of a good democracy. Right now, in the 50 days leading up to the. midterms, I just keep encouraging my. listeners, number one, make sure you're. registered. Number two, have a plan to. vote in person. If you know old people, people that look like they're. immigrants, sound like they're. immigrants, go vote with them, >> because we have to the turnout has to be. too big to rig. >> Our number one unifying cause right now. has to be defeat fascism. We can get. precious and detailed over other things.

and um primary candidates that didn't. deliver for us but we have to be unified. in defeating these people because MAGA. is a death cult. >> All of their policies lead to death. >> Yeah. I mean these guys all these like. talk about death. these guys, these. these tech guys, Elon Musk, Peter Theal, Sam Alman, these guys, the way they talk. about, they they they know like that AI. will ruin the world or most likely has. the has the ability to do so and they're.

okay with that. >> They they most nefarious. They want. horrible like it's the most group of. it's the biggest group of evil. It's so. everything is evil. Take away health. care. Take away women's rights. Take. away get rid of black people. Get rid of. immigrants. Deport people in chains. Make sure they're dying in these. concentration camps that we're living. in. Like I keep waiting. I'm like, "Are. we going to all just go on strike?" And.

I can't say something like that cuz. people are like, "Well, it's easy for. you to go on strike." But I'm like, "Aren't we going to have a national. aren't we just going to say like the. midterms are one thing, but why aren't. we all in the [ __ ] streets? Why. aren't we in the streets until this is. over?" And it's and and you know, I I. know people can't leave their jobs and. they can't take a day off and they don't. have that ability, but I I can't believe. that we're even waiting for the midterms. to make that kind of statement. You. know, I can't believe people are just. let allowing people to go live in. detention centers. 70% of people in.

detention centers have no criminal. record. We have a private p like a. private prison system where the more. people you put into these prisons, the. more money these guys make. They're all. connected. Like how do you know and. we're just going to work and innocent. people are in what I just can't believe. we're letting this happen. >> No, I think that we all I think you just. really put into perfect words what we. all think all the time. Like shouldn't. we be doing more? And the problem is so.

many people capitulated early to this. guy and it changed the trajectory. completely in Trump 1.0. You're. absolutely right. The elites didn't go. kiss ass. The corporations kind of held. the line and they were part of the. resistance. >> But elections have a tricky way of. reconciling things. And for me. personally and for all of our listeners. here, the message that I once sent with. the midterms is not just to hurt Trump's.

ego personally and narcissistically. injure him, which I very much enjoy. It. is also to send a message to all of the. um tech titans and industry uh leaders. who bent the knee against their country. and against their customer base and bent. the knee to a guy who is incompetent uh. not smart. Trump doesn't give a [ __ ]. about America. He doesn't give a [ __ ]. about his uh supporters and and the. corrupt Supreme Court because I think.

that we need to get as many Democrats in. there as possible because we cannot go. back. >> We cannot go back go back to Joe Biden's. America. We go back to incubated this. We need we need oversight in the Supreme. Court. We need politicians that are are. not taking pack money. We need to get. rid of pack money. We have to get rid of. Citizens United.
