All right, it is primary day in. Michigan and there's a big big race. You. have corporate Democrat Haley Stevens. against progressive candidate Abdul. El-Sayed and there's all of this. bickering in the Democratic Party over. this. I mean, my feed is full of it. And. I've said this for a long time. For. Republicans, they see no difference. between a corporate Democrat and a. progressive Democrat. If anything, Republicans prefer to run against a.

corporate Democrat because they know. they can beat them. Hillary Clinton, uh Kamala Harris. And so Abdul El-Sayed. is beholden to no one. But to prove the. point of how. uh Republicans just think everybody with. a D next to their their name, oh, they're a libtard. Listen to Trump right. here. >> But you have a. a communist versus a socialist. That's. the way I look at it. You have a. communist. versus a socialist. It looks like the.

communist is leading. We're talking. about for the Democrat primary. >> A communist. I just um. Trump, they will prefer Haley Stevens. because they know they can beat Haley. want to be in the Democratic Party. anymore.". And again, to all of these rural MAGA. voters, they see no difference, zero. difference between Hillary Clinton and. Hasan [ __ ] They think they're both. commies, and you have to understand. that. And we have to have a big tent. party, and I think this primary's great. Let's run the corporate Dem who's taken. $70 million from AIPAC against a guy who. might have a a non-Euro name who is not. beholden to anyone, who speaks for. everybody. Let's run it. Let's see what.

happens. That's what primaries are for. Well, Laura Ingraham. spits out some truth here, and this is. pretty telling how fearful the. Republicans are, how fearful MAGA and. their propaganda channel, how scared to. death they are of progressive Democratic. candidates. They're going to promise prosecutions of. Trump and his family, then ICE. officials, anyone work for ICE, then the entire system will be put on. trial before it's ultimately dismantled. So, Democrats, you got to nip this in. the bud now, because if the socialists. get a foothold in November, they could. end up being the dominant force in the. party for the next 40 years. >> Okay, that's really telling that she. said the next 40 years, because it's the. truth. Because if there were a new new.

deal, it would be wildly popular. The. policies of FDR were incredibly popular, so popular, that's why we have an. amendment in the Constitution now that. limits presidents run to only two terms, because it's wildly popular. It's just. not popular with corporations, because. corporations value profits. over safety. Corporations value. exploitation over livable wages. And the.

progressives of the Democratic Party are. now the party of law and order. And I. hope to God we prosecute ICE agents, Dumb and Dumber, Trump, throw Barron in. there, throw Melania in there. And here. is the uh. boogeyman himself, Hasan [ __ ] Play the. clip. >> Arrest and prosecute and bring about. corruption charges for every prominent. member of this administration that is. engaged in corruption.

and arrest prosecute and arrest ICE. agents that have also done crimes as. well on the job. That would be a. platform position that that. I mean, if. you are committing crimes. as a public servant and you are stealing. money from the American people, if. you're being bribed to give pardons, if. you are killing innocent people, under. what world view.

should that not be prosecuted? That's. how skewed we are. And I will just. remind everybody the weaponization, quote unquote, of the Justice Department. has all been done by Trump, i.e. James. Comey, Letitia James. Nobody Barack. Obama didn't commit crimes and guess. what? Nobody prosecuted when he was out. The difference is here, we've got a. crime mafia style crime family in the. White House and everybody's cashing in.

from cabinet members to all the kids and. now he wants to not be pros- or audited. by the IRS. and disorder. We are the party of law. and order. They have to be an opposition. party that states it all of the time. And I think that we need to run on a. platform of law and order, a platform of. anti-corruption, a platform of universal. human rights. So, when people get their. panties in a wad about somebody's. pronouns or somebody's sexuality, here's. the situation. Those people have kitchen. tables, too. So, it's a kitchen table.

issue for everybody. And as Democrats, you might not understand somebody that's. gender fluid or somebody that's queer or. somebody that's gay or somebody that's. lesbian or somebody that's black, but. they're still human beings and they have. the same kitchen table issues that every. other person has. And so, I think. they're onto something. And I think. Laura Ingram, I just think she knows. If. the people get a taste. that government is supposed to work for. you, it's supposed to be efficient and. work for you, they're going to like it,

just like they did under FDR. But the. Democratic Party has lost its way. So, if Bill Maher and James Carville want to. go out to pasture, go. Go Go do a big. barbecue with Haley Stevens and Cory. Booker and Chuck Schumer and and y'all. just have you know, just service. corporations, but it doesn't work. It. doesn't work. The reason the DSA is. rising so much right now is because the. States of America, 60 Minutes. And of. course, with these oligarchs, with anybody in. Trump's orbit, they can't ever have enough. He. wants balance He wants news to be. all-encompassing. as long as it's agreeing with his. opinion. And that's exactly what you. have with Trump and all the oligarchy. cannot live. I just read 63% of. Americans are living paycheck to. paycheck, or having to make compromises. uh you know, food or medicine. It's like. y- because and Donald Trump, he wants to. paint everything gold. He wants to put. his picture on everything. We don't have. money to help the American people, but. we have money for war and projects. And. I for me, if I'm looking at this. just from the outside, I'm thinking, why. would you allow this? You. for me, right now, what Donald Trump is. selling is pushing people away.

from just the moderate center. He's. pushing them way far more progressive. >> I think the moderate center is what's. pushing people away from the moderate. center, because the moderate center has. failed uh politically. It the moderate. cen- center is a preservationist. system. It preserves the um beholden. uh nature to corporations. It it. services corporations. Moderate politics. do. And so, Donald Trump i- is a fake.

populist, a fake. populist candidate that pathologically. lies. They went to vote for him because. they wanted something radically. different. The um Democra- the DSA um. has a has a lot of really good points. and, uh, unregulated, untethered. capitalism is a disaster. It always. leads to this. This is why, uh, FDR was. so such a successful president because.
